« Put this on your list of places to visit »

This is not your typical Best Western Hotel. Feels more like a Marriott or Hilton - upscale and beautiful. Great location with easy access to the center - historic part of the city. There are two viewing areas - one on the 4th floor with nice outdoor seating. On the top floor there's a bar with a beautiful view. A great place to have a drink and watch the sunset. We stayed in a suite which was large and very comfortable. It has two queen beds and lovely sofa and kitchenette with microwave, bar seating with two chairs and service (plates, cups silverware) for 4. There's also an in-suite coffee maker and blender. Worth the extra money to have this large room. There's also a restaurant on site that has excellent food and a very good price. The city is large, clean, beautiful yet quaint. Very safe. I fell in love with the downtown historic district. If you're traveling you're only a 40 minute drive to the "magical" town of Bernal and 40 minutes (opposite direction) to the World Heritage Site (town) of San Miguel De Allende and 2 hours to Mexico City. I highly recommend visiting Queretaro and the the neighboring pueblos, and staying at the Best Western Crown Victoria.

    « Excellent Stayed »

Nice hotel with excellent service of all employees, very good meals during buffet and nice parking lot at front and behind of hotel . Rooms very clean and bathroom as well. Nice location , close to Highway and in the midldle of everything.

    « Nice »

I had the chance to stay in a single room with a king size bed, the facilities are nice but the room seem a little too crowded. It had what I need for a one night stay and the cost was one of the best in the area. It's located near the freeway but it is surprisingly quiet. You can drive (5 min) or walk (20 min) to downtown. The food at the restaurant is fair and its prices too (for a hotel restaurant). It offers a complimentary continental breakfast but you can trade up for the buffet (at $7 USD aprox.). It has a nice bar (at the top floor) with a nice view of the city.

« Clean and Modern Setting with Terrible Service »

The Best Western chain did not make a mistake with the style or furnishings of this hotel. The rooms are slightly undersized because of the large comfortable bed, but beyond that the rooms are clean, well lit, and comfortable. The issue becomes the terrible service I received on two subsequent stays. Room service was practically non-existent, with one bellboy trying to charge me 20 pesos for a bucket of ice. (I had a 20 peso note in my hand for him for a tip- which I pocketed after sending him on his merry way). The night desk is also non-existent, which was probably better than the rude treatment I received from the day shift. There are three or four hotels in less than one square mile, each visible to each other. I have been to Queretaro on enough occasions to have tried them all- and any of the other three (Turotel and Mercury Inn are the two that come to mind) were equally clean and comfortable, with polite and friendly staff.

    « Clean and New »

Clean, new hotel; has a full service restaurant with surprisingly good food and reasonable (for hotels) prices. There are two types of rooms - the single, with a King size bed - these rooms are very nice but very small (completely overwhelmed by the large bed with virtually not room to move around); the other rooms are doubles - huge rooms, 2 double beds, very large sitting area with couch and love seat, decent size kitchenette. I did not have a reservation, so on this stay the room prices were $950 pesos for the single (about $75 US) and the double was just shy of $1,300 pesos (about $100 US). We chose the double and were very comfortable. Alfredo was especially helpful. I don't believe that anyone spoke English. In the last 2 weeks, I have had to be in Queretaro 3 times and have stayed at the Fiesta Inn, the Staybridge Suites, and this Best Western, and I would recommend this Best Western over the other two for quality, price, and location.
