"Honest & Open Review "
We were a couple looking to get away for a night over the weekend. The hotel was lovely, clean, modern, and newly renovated and the reception staff were also very welcoming. Nice little quaint city to take a stroll in too! We made reservations at the hotel restaurant for dinner and were very disappointed by the food choices - if you have a seafood allergy - the choices are very limited but the worst part is that it took 1.5 hours to get our main meal but that time you've lost your appetite! We also booked to spend some time at the indoor pool - when we arrived it was so overcrowded with not a seat in sight - wasn't sure why we even had to book! We waited 20 min and with no seat and nowhere to leave our towel except on the floor, we decided to go back to the room. Very disappointing and poorly managed. Later that evening went to the spa for a facial & back massage that was really good!
"Christmas stay"
Excellent stop over for 2 days at Christmas.. Superb room with great bathroom and rain shower. ,lovely Christmas meal served in beautiful dining room with tables well spaced out . The staff were very attentive and professional. Would recommend this hotel highly.
"Perfect stop over"
We stopped here on the way to the Alps. OMG the most relaxing perfect hotel to stay in. Felt so lucky that we opted for Les Sept Fontaine's. The spa is lovely , the rooms are gorgeous, the staff so helpful and the food in the restaurant was very good. Just wish we had stayed 2 nights.
"Incroyable!!!!!"
I only stayed 2 nights and what a mistake on my part - the hotel is gorgeous, it is recently built, but the food is unspeakable. I got the say - the chef does some wonders. If. you happen to travel to Burgundy and you want to be closer to the wine region, I highly recommend this property

"All you need for a comfortable stay"
Our Amsterdam-Nice flight was cancelled: we had to rent a car to attend to an event! As we realised we couldn't make the road in one go, we decided to stop half way and found this hotel: very conveniently situated close to the highway (but far enough from it to not be inconvenienced by it), in a village full of great restaurants. The hotel has a parking, the staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, with enough soundproofing to allow for a great sleep despite of the proximity of the railway (we are particularly sensitive to noise and slept very well). The hotel is beautiful and the town full of history. We were happy about our one night halt and won't hesitate to book there again if life takes us to that area. Incredibly good value for money.

"Exquisite hotel"
I stayed here mid-June with VBT cycling group of 12 for a couple nights. Very impressed! This hotel was the nicest, most beautiful, clean, quiet, and best decorated hotel I've ever stayed in. The service and food were also top notch. The brand-new decor is contemporary/modern with incorporated pieces of local history. Everything in the hotel sparkled! Location in a very quiet, pretty area. Absolutely exquisite! It was very difficult to leave this resort.

"An absolute must stay. A joy of a hotel."
From the second you walk into this hotel it's a total joy. It has a very authentic charm which you might not expect from a new hotel but what has been created here is really special. My husband and I stayed there after a long, hot, tiring drive from England and we're greeted by members of the team who immediately helped us to park in the secure garage and accommodate the bikes we had with us. Alexis in particular went the extra mile to help us which after a long day travelling was so welcome. Checking in was made super easy, we had drinks after dinner and again the staff were attentive and accommodating including Alexis again. Lots of hotels I stay in are efficient, clean, stylish etc but lack the personalised and genuine feel this hotel has created. The room was perfect, bed in particular was extremely good. This place is a must - we will certainly be back.

"A charming hotel"
This hotel has been renewed 2 years ago! Very nice place to go and super silent. I will be back very soon, this summer, to enjoy the wine road and the nice food of all the restaurants around! Thank you to the team of the hotel, always willing to help and read to provide you the best of the service

"Perfect stop off on the way to the south of France"
Exceptional family suite ( we had two children and two adults). Brand new decor and great bathroom. Beautifully comfortable bed. Terrace was a nice addition. Super easy stay on the way to the south of France as only 5 mins from the motorway. Highly recommended hotel.

"Disappointment"
We were hoping for a nice, charming and pleasant stay, and we were confident, with such a price per night, that this would be the case. But we were totally dissapointed. First of all, no true welcoming at the reception desk : it took hardly 10 seconds to the person in charge at the reception to give us our key for the room. No explanation at all, no information about internet, about the breakfast, about the spa, etc. Very disappointing. Our room was opening on the terrasse, were the customers are dining : impossible to open the curtain. We were feeling like in the cellar...When we went to the spa, the person in charge asked us our room number. Then she said immediately : oh, you reserved through Booking, I see...So for you, the spa is 60 € for one hour. Kind of remark which made us feel like "under-customers", or customers of second category. But we paid our room 170 € a night + Breakfast in addition !!!

"If you think less is more, this is the hotel for you"
We needed a place to stay between the south of France and Paris and based on the reviews picked this place. What a mistake. This place is about as pompous and pretentious as it gets considering it is basically in the middle of nowhere. If you're a less is more believer you'll like the fact that they charge 244 euro for a room with one pillow per person and one towel each. The shower, being ultra modern, doesn't have any walls and water goes everywhere and I mean everywhere. With only one towel each it really gets messy quickly. The room itself was large by European standards. Then there's the food issue. At breakfast no one can be bothered to help you. You're on your own for everything. When you ask they point a haughty finger at some food. And dinner is a totally pretentious affair where you're lucky to find one thing on the menu to order and they aren't happy if you don't want to order your dessert when you place your main course meal. We had the duck which was chewy and tasteless. We got the impression the food was secondary to the presentation of it. There is free parking, as the woman in reception told me, but they don't tell you it is down a steep hill which makes getting the luggage up to check in and down again (and it was pouring rain leaving) an absolute mess although we found out later that there is a garage onsite. Definitely would avoid this place on our next trip in the area.

Dear sbrantley, As you stayed in a family room which is suitable for persons with reduced mobility, the shower has indeed no wall on one side to make easier the access to the shower. If this kind of room doesn't suit you, don't hesitate to tell us next time so that we can find an arrangement. In every hotel room, you can find two more pillows in the wardrobe. Moreover, in every room there is 2 towels per person and if you need more, we will be happy to give you whatever you need. Regarding your breakfast, everything is at your disposal on the buffet and Virginie was here to help you despite your rudeness. For the parking, it is written in your booking confirmation and in the pre-stay mail that we have a garage. Above all, Tournus might not be a big city such as Paris but you really should give it a chance. "Very nice place. Modern hotel. Undoubtedly must be even greater when no covid."
We have spend one night on our way back in this hotel. Very friendly and efficient welcome and check in. The room is modern and well equipped with comfortable bed. Even if due to covid the choice was restricted we had a very pleasant diner. The basic Chardonnay from Burgundy was just excellent. The terrasse is in a large patio. We will certainty return to this nice Hotel to try the Spa and swimming pool which unfortunately were closed.

"Real 4 star hotel"
This is a very nice hotel, nicely designed, friendly staff. The SPA looks nice but due to COVID not open. A breath of fresh air for Tournus where the other hotels tend to be a bit dated. Definitely we will go back.
