We had originally tried to stay here but they were sold out. So we stayed next door which was a hotel from a horror film. We called and ask if there was a cancellation. There was and they accommodated us! It was a respite. The hotel is dated but clean and functional and safe and welcoming. Best Western armed a customer for life w the life line the receptionist threw us !
nice decent stay helping staff with all other ammonites specially breakfast was great happy with my stay
The rooms were clean. The breakfast was hot. The breakfast service lady was very friendly and efficient. Be aware that they will charge you at midnight on checkout date and not when you check out. If you plan to use another card at checkout, it's too late. Owners wife said there was no problem changing to a different card at checkout.
Room was clean, the bed was super soft, staff is very helpful and professional, centrally located to great restaurants and shopping, huge parking lot, just a great stay overall. Would highly recommend this hotel.
This property is owned by people who are onsite and are very interested in making your stay trouble free and comfortable. The breakfast was very delicious and hot. The property was clean and well maintained. The town has lots of attractions and has almost all sorts of businesses for shopping! I would stay at this hotel again
I've never walked into a hotel room and my first thought be how good the room smelled. This was clean and a great experience. We will be back anytime we stay in Mineral Wells from now on. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was even better than expected.
Our auto club met and stayed at this Best Western for 3 days. They took great care of our group. Excellent facility. Shout out to the woman who ran the morning breakfast! She started all our days off right.
Very clean and up to date Best Western on the east side of Mineral Wells. Room was well appointed and clean. The only downer was the noise level was fairly high during the night. Part of the problem may have been our room being close to the lobby and front desk - however, the construction of the hotel made the sound echo a bit. Overall a good hotel with reasonable rates.
We have stayed here before and are always very happy with how we are treated and the accommodations are excellent. It is very convenient because it is exactly half way to our final destination, and at our age, rest is very important.
Average hotel beds were nice , air conditioner really didn't cool the room down , breakfast was ok nothing great instant eggs , microwave bacon , ( go to Whataburger) down the road or Tanya's place , stayed for 2 nights and either morning no hot water in the shower but had really hot water in the sink
If you're a smoker leave clothes outside if u got a jacuzzi suite for more than a day. Clothes gets a little humid n start stinking like cigs n you'll be accused of smoking in the room n asked to leave. No questions asked n not allowed to show any proof because they already made up their minds on what happened based on smell but no complaints of smoke. Also expect maid service to enter when you're not there n haven't asked for any service (even if u post a privacy sign).
Hotel is easy to find and access. Nice, clean facility. Lobby, halls, and room were all clean and bright. No musty odors. The staff (especially Courtney) is wonderful. Friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a decent variety of hot and cold items. Items were constantly monitored and replenished as necessary. The lady working this area was very courteous. The internet works well. Overall, I think this is a great value. I highly recommend you stay here if in the area!
If you are looking for a reasonable hotel for a stopover, this is a good choice. Front Desk Courtney very friendly and helpfull The rates very good The room was clean and everything works. Bathroom ok. Breakfast good with bacon. Cons Hottub didnt working. When I arrived at 3:00 pm there was no room available (Sunday).
Have stayed here before. Seems like hotel has gone downhill. Smell in room. Toilet spontaneously flushed. Could hear upstairs people and person snoring next door during night. Breakfast needs help. Coffee was meh. Staff was nice. Will look elsewhere next time in town.
We stayed one night and were pleased with the cleanliness of our room and comfortable beds. The staff we interacted with was nice and helpful. We would stay again. We didn't eat the free breakfast, but there was a large crowd so it must have been fine.
The worst customer service and argumentative staff and ownership I have experienced. They booked me for an entire weekend instead of the one night I requested, then canceled my reservation and charged an $80 cancellation fee (more than the cost of my one night reservation) while my family had two other rooms booked at the same time. Save yourself the hassle and book elsewhere.
Traveling with a girls team. One room experienced multiple bugs, Another room was not available, so we tried bug spray which did not solve the problem as fast as expected. We then moved the girls into another rooms sofa, however team was still billed for the room at a reduction of rate.
Super nice and clean. Odor free!!! No musty moldy or chemical smells. Bed was very comfy. Check in was quick. very friendly and informative. She was very thorough. The coffee was great and fresh. The breakfast was hot and breakfast area clean but they had a hard time keeping it stocked. I was in there at 7am and there was no sausage bacon or scrambled eggs. There were no other guests eating at the time. I will definitely stay here again
We have stayed here before. The room is extra large. The room was very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast is the standard hotel food. The breakfast area is very clean. Staff were friendly. Probably would not stay on the weekend due to the extreme increase in room prices. During the week, the price is excellent.
Toilet seat wobbly, lamps missing bulbs, cold water in shower, dirty carpets, and the bed was horrible you could feel the springs and metal. Stay in Weatherford TX at a better hotel, this one is way to expensive for the old bed and carpets.
This is our second stay here, at our second Rocker B tournament. It is fairly convenient to the ranch. Would definitely choose again. Very clean, great customer service. Bed was very comfortable. Small but comfortable lobby… (Seating, coffee, etc)
Front desk blamed corporate. Corporate said it was done at hotel level. Hotel went through re-mapping and it screwed up the software and sent me to a king room with 4 guests. My reservation was made 3 months prior. Others got a double room on day before (when they changed my reservation). Wouldn't let me have double even when it was their fault. Still no call from manager.
I had a choice of a BW in Granby and Mineral Wells which are both about the same distance from my work location. I took the chance of paying 1/2 the price choosing Mineral Wells BW. I'm satisfied with my choice.
I am a big fan of this hotel. Very friendly staff and great personalized service. Feels like a local owned business, which I believe the owners are active and working on the property daily. This is the only hotel I consider when west of Fort Worth.
This has to be one of the cleanest most comfortable hotels I have stayed in. The staff was very nice and helpful. This is a Pet friendly hotel. The room did not have a "pet smell" as some other hotels have. The location is great and very close to downtown
I stayed this Hotel over the course of a few days and by far the best experience I ever had at a hotel. The front desk lady Amanda was the most sweetest, kind, and caring woman I have encountered there!!! Definitely will be going back.
Nice clean, good breakfast.I've stayed at all the motels in Mineral Wells and Best Western is the Best! They are the only one still serving breakfast. Nice pool and nice rooms.Right by the golf course!
We came to the Best Western in Mineral Wells and had a lovely experience. Amanda at the front desk was so accommodating and flexible with our needs. The rate was fantastic and the room was spacious! It was clean and my family and I were very comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Best Western for allowing my family to spend good quality time together.
There was hair in the bathtub, the room got hot and sticky. There were only sheets on the bed. No comforter! The hot and cold sign were completely opposite. During breakfast they don't believe in water.
Nice hotel. Recommend to anyone traveling through this town. Close to everything you would ever need. Just traveling through but would like to stay here and check out the town a little bit more. Very pleased.
Very clean room and public areas (pool area could have used a bit more attention), good breakfast, friendly and efficient staff. Room was comfortable and well appointed.Exceeded my expectations for the price.
I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and cozy this place was! And I got the best price ever!!! $78 for a two Queen bedroom! This place got my attention quick. I will certainly be staying here again.
I stay here at least 1 time per week, if not more. I enjoy the staff, always have a feeling of home, which is rare. I feel safe here and always feel welcome. The rooms are very clean, and breakfast is also a great way to start the day.
The facilities were lacking in just about every way. The interior of the hotel is dated and sad. Our room was nice and clean but falling apart and had a horrid smell. The pool/hot tub area was filthy. The breakfast options were almost zero and coffee was the only drink option. The majority of the staff was wonderful and friendly. I'd recommend the people but not the facility.
AC wasn't that great. It's probably on par with similarly-priced hotels but even at its lowest setting for 14 hours, the room temperature probably never dropped below 73 or so degrees. Other than that, the price was great for the quality of room.
I´ve stayed at all the places in Mineral Wells with my son and sometimes with groups of friends and BW beats them all hands down! Very nice ,well maintained and great staff! Was better quality service than a few more costly Hotels in the Metroplex!
Our stay at the Mineral Wells Best Western Plus was very relaxing. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet and very clean. Cleanliness is the most important thing to me next to a comfortable bed!
I traveled to The area with my son and our baseball team. Several of us stayed in the hotel. It was a pretty good deal for the price. The women at the front desk were very friendly. The man at the front desk was playing video games between checking people out and seemed less than enthusiastic to be there. Overall good experience. Except the hot tub was green. But the rooms and lobby were clean
We choose hotels based on whether or not they have hot breakfast for guests. We gladly pay more in order to have this convenience. If we wanted to eat at a restaurant in town, we would choose less expensive locations. The website clearly indicated that they have hot breakfast, but they did not. In fact, it was the worst breakfast selection we have seen since the pandemic started!
Hotel stay was nightmare to say the least. Staff had thrown away things in my room and told me to fish them out of the trash. Heat, toilet, rust all over. bathroom. Just a nasty hotel. Staff was totally unhelpful, and just didn't care
The room was great. Very large and really clean. The bed was so comfortable. Check in was fast and easy. The clerk at the desk was very friendly. I didn't get to have breakfast but it looked very good. I will definitely stay here again.
I had called on the 18th of February to reserve a room for myself and my wife. Because of the Snow and Ice and electricity and no water, I called that morning and booked a room. Because of us being AARP members and Best Western members, I was told it would be a lesser price. My stay for 3 days was over $ 270.0O when I first checked in the manager told me a different price than the 180.00 dollars, I took him at his word an upon I paid him that day which was not should've been 180.00, check out he still charged the full price. Please get a receipt when paying up front. Now four days later February 25 I see another charge of 90.35!!! I've have stayed in hotels over the years with my job, I have never encountered this type of business transaction with any other entities. Please beware of this establishment!! I will never ever stay or make reservations at this establishment!!!
Not too bad of a place if you are really tired, only want a place to sleep & bring your own pillows. Our king size bed only had two throw pillows, and I like a full size or bigger pillow. We contacted the front desk & they said they would see what they could find & finally found two....throw pillows :-/. The young lady at the front desk tried, but they just didn't have regular sized pillows. The view from the window was another hotel about 20 feet away, oh well, keep the curtains closed. There are no USB outlets for charging your electronics, better bring your own adapter. Breakfast was grab & go due to COVID, however all they had was a bowl of fruit and snack cakes, but there was a sign saying that guests were not allowed to serve themselves and to see the hostess....there was no hostess at the desk, oh well hit the fast food restaurant. Bright side, it didn't smell too bad & the AC worked well.
We always stay at this location when in MW and have never had a bad experience. The hotel staff is great and friendly. The hotel itself is clean, the beds are comfortable, the internet is sturdy...just to name a few great features. We will be back the next time we visit.
Overall great stay. Hotel was clean on the inside and outside. Rooms were clean, had toiletries, hot water, plenty of towels. Breakfast had to be modified due to pandemic. Oatmeal, fruit, individually wrapped pastries (coffee cakes, donuts) and coffee. No water or juice. Slim pickings by the time my family arrived at 8am. They had a max of 8 people in the pool due to covid-19 guidelines. Guests seemed to abide by that. Hot tub was green, notified staff and they said they would alert maintenance immediately. Amber at the front desk was very nice. Would recommend to family and would definitely stay again.
We met with four staff, two in reception, one house cleaning, and one member of staff balancing the pool chemicals. All were extraordinarily welcoming and personable. The premises are in a good location, and our room was spacious. The TV had a working HDMI port for our small children to watch a favorite movie.
The hotel was quiet, clean, affordable, and easy to access. The staff were kind and helpful. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. The hotel was full but very peaceful. Bed was comfortable and air unit quiet.
The sheets are your bedspread with a thin blanket between them. The pillows are from some leftover sale somewhere. The shower head is eye level at best! Red lion down the road, same price twice the hotel!
I was genuinely surprised that for the price how nice the features within the suite were. Even though it was off season the pool area was open including the hot tub. Instead of 'phoning in breakfast' they made fresh bacon and scrambled eggs every day.
My daughter had a job interview in Mineral Wells so we stayed here overnight. The hotel is very nice, clean and the staff were very friendly. Close to downtown and area restaurants. We had a suite room with two queen beds, it was the perfect room. We will definitely be back for a visit.
Great customer service, always helpful, fast, friendly and clean. Great location with lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. They also serve a hot breakfast if you prefer or things to grab and eat on the road
I have stayed here every time I visit my children and grandchildren for over 15 years..This visit my grandchildren came to the hotel..Apparently my grandbaby had an accident on the bed..accidents happen right? I get a call on my way back to Dallas wanting to charge me an extra $50 to clean the sheet! Ridiculous!! They have to wash them anyway right?? Total B.S! I will NEVER stay there again!
I enjoyed my stay. Everyone was helpful. My house had caught on fire so we needed some where to stay and I'm glad I chose this place. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything it was appreciated
While traveling home from southern Texas to Nebraska, we made it as far as Mineral Wells before stopping for the night. Hotel was really nice. Front desk was helpful and courteous and made great suggestions for local dining when we explained what we were looking for. Choice for room options was wonderful! We've never had 2 king beds in one room before. It worked great for our family of 4 travelers. Breakfast was set up right at 6am and had a huge selection of options. Very happy with everything...especially the price.
Nice stay, good breakfast with many options (eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt) helpful front desk. Typical amenities and a nice room. Convenient to restaurants and Mineral Wells Fossil park and state park.
Booked a non smoking room on a non smoking floor a month in advance. When we arrived it was apparent that smoking had taken place in our room(that was NOT marked non-smoking). The air conditioning did not work and it was 95 degrees outside. The front desk person could not get the room fixed and cooled in a timely manner and could not find another room for us. She would not help us with finding another hotel in the area. Within a hour I found another hotel ( non smoking room and air conditioning worked).
I had a family member stay here recently & was told the Best Western n Mineral Wells was a nice place to stay - clean, reasonable price, polite staff & close to shopping & resturants. They said they plan to stay there again.
This hotel is a great place to stay for the money. The rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The one thing I did not like was the pillows are the size of throw pillows. I would prefer at least a regular size when sleeping. But this is a personal choice so I did not let it reflect on the rating.
This Best Western Club House Inn & Suites is one of the nicest in all respects I've been in in a long time. They are still doing renovations, but they are so far along that it is not a problem. The desk staff are friendly and helpful. The room was spotless. The town of Mineral Wells has such charm, you'll wish you could stay longer.
Unfortunately this stay from the beginning was unpleasant. Receptionist was too busy smoking cigarettes instead of helping and when she did was very rude. I kept quite and got checked in room. Room was ok but bathroom was not. I travel for work a lot and BW has always been my go to :( unfortunately I checked out to the same unpleasant receptionist that had been there my entire stay smoking again outside. After I had left and received a extremely threatening and unprofessional call about towels missing. Again I remained professional and told her they were in the room, she relied that I was going to be charged and hung up on me. Luckily I was still in town and drove back... guess where she was at ... smoking outside again. I assured her that the towels were not taken and she replied .. oh yea they found them. The level of unprofessionalism and low level of customer service was so disappointing.
This is a nicely remodeled Hotel. Rooms and lobby were very clean. Staff was extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel if staying in Mineral Wells. Central location to what we were there to do.
I stayed here twice with my teenage son on the weekends while he was staffing at a nearby camp. The rooms were clean. The breakfast had plenty of food options. We had to do his laundry and I appreciate that they had two washers and two dryers. It made it easy to get a weeks worth of dirty camp clothes washed quickly. The staff was always friendly and helpful. As a tip, they do have a 3 Queen Bed option if you a traveling with a family and you don't want to use a sofa bed! Great idea for families and I wish more hotels had that option.
We go out of our way, on our way from Houston to Amarillo, to stay at the Best Western in Mineral Wells. Of course there are other reason besides the Best Western of Mineral Wells for taking the route to Amarillo via Mineral Wells; traffic going through Ft. Worth being one of them. However, if not for the Best Western in Mineral Wells as a draw, we'd probably fight the traffic and stay on the 287 route. We even consider room 104 our home away from home. Had to stay in 105 this time. Now we can request 104 or 105. All good!
My husband & I recently stayed 2 nights in this hotel. We had our daughters, one son-in-law, ages 6-19. We booked 2 rooms with 3 Queen beds in each room. It was wonderful. Rooms are clean, roomy, quiet. Breakfast was A+--eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, waffles, cereals, pastries & more--so good! Every one of the staff members we encountered were above & beyond friendly & accommodating. There was a faint smell of smoke in some areas, but not our room. Manager said new furniture was on the way, but all areas we visited had nice accomodations---some had already been updated.
The stay at the Best Western in Mineral Wells, Tx is always an excellent experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms and overall hotel is very well kept and clean. The breakfast is always fresh and we'll stocked and of course the waffles are the best.
If you have to book at this hotel, make sure you confirm the price agreed upon when you check in. At the end our stay, the general manager changed the rate to double, threatened to raise the rate for my parents who were in a similar room if I continued to argue, and lied about reasons for the change. They were argumentative and rigid. He basically threw an adult tantrum. Do not be swayed by their "3-Star" status or the high reviews. There are three hotels to choose from in this tiny town. If you can, stay somewhere else.
Very nice hotel. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. I had booked the last room they had and it was a smoking room (I don't smoke) I didn't have a choice but to take that room. The receptionist went in while we were out and sprayed a nice lemony air cleaner. We only stayed for 2 nights so it worked fine. I will be staying there again soon.
This is an immaculately clean hotel with outstanding staff. Breakfast was very good. Staff was helpful in pointing out some of the things to see ion the area. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling in the area.
Big room, clean.. I really never knew what people meant when they said the sheets were crisp.. I understand now. The sheets and pillows were fresh, clean, and crisp. I even smelled the pillows. They were clean.
Reported a problem to staff and things went down from there, Assistant manager told me lies to get me out the door, next day I went back to Hotel like I was asked and got the run around by the Assistant Managers boss. So I let things go, because I never had a problem at this Hotel, every stay was great. So I came back that night with my girlfriend, guys from location, 3 customers and 2 little ones. I went to go get us the room keys so we could get little ones ready for bed, the Lady calls the big boss to ask how to put points in computer and pay the rest with Credit Card, and he tells her to cancel everything and tell me to find a different place to Stay. All this for telling them problems in the room and Ruined a device.
Sometimes when you don't have many options, you get what you can. I only have suggestions for improvement. 1. Pick up the cigarette butts outside the side door. 2. Buy 1 more high chair for the breakfast area. 3. Invest in another pack and play. Why would you only have one high chair and one pack and play?
We use this hotel because it is a half way point when we go to the RGV. We have used this hotel several times on our trips to Texas. We like the location and the free breakfast. The rooms are always clean.
Checking in was good. As soon as we opened the door to the room the smell of smoke hit you in the face. We asked for a non smoking room & the room said it was non smoking. We had the staff come smell the room. We asked for some air freshener because the odor was so bad. The bathroom was alright though the seat in the shower was a pain & you couldn't even move with it in there. The bed wasnt comfortable. The only good thing was their spa bath. The water got really hot which I liked.
Room smelt like smoke, had to address it and manager came down and agreed. The pillows were horrible, bed too soft and shower was horrible. The free breakfast was a food value All in all was worth the cheap price.
We stayed in the hotel for a week .I was l looking for a hotel that fulfills my basic needs-- clean, quiet, roomy, and comfortable--and I found it. The staff was friendly and efficient. Honestly, I could not have asked for more.
We hesitated staying here because of the low price but we needed a pet friendly place. I expected a dingy smelly hotel but it was clean and all we needed for one nights stay. The complimentary breakfast was even much better than the hotel the previous night at almost twice the price. That was a Days Inn in El Dorado Kansas. They had microwave eggs in a bag (yuck).
I booked our stay a week after we were to arrive. Upon arrival they quickly booked us rooms with a room change to a larger king room with a hot tub in the room. cool! We were impressed with the quality of service.
My stay at this location was excellent & worth the money spent. Would recommend to my friends & would stay again myself. Very clean room; was pleasantly surprised considering the price. Breakfast, although not piping hot, was definitely adequate, with a variety & a microwave.
This is a great hotel, this is the only place I stay at when I visit Mineral Wells. Its always clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff is always helpful and super friendly. They have a great breakfast selection, my son loves the Texas shaped waffles. I definitely recommend this hotel!
I would like to thank the helpful staff--Lacey--Shelby-- and all the others. They assisted me and my business associates with multiple re scheduling and room changes for two weeks while in town on business. Thank You !!! The hot breakfast each morning was amazing !!!!
Good deal for the price. Lots of smoking rooms so hotel hallway smelled bad. Otherwise great staff worked hard to keep the place clean at checkout. Pool gets afternoon shade which is very nice in Texas
We came all the way from New Braunfels Tx. It was our Wedding Anniversary and we wanted to get away from all the Daily stresses and what not. Plus a kid free weekend. Who wouldn't want that on the weekend of their anniversary?? Well my husband made the reservations. Told the owners Kiran that we were coming for our wedding anniversary. The owner made the room extra special. I was supper impressed with the room. When I walked in, I was speechless. It was beautiful an I love it. Now, let me explain that when my family an I go on vacation anywhere. I check the room top to bottom for any an everything. That's the Emergency Nurse inside me. We normally go through 3/4 rooms before I find a suitable one. Well with this hotel I DIDNT do that. The room was great. My husband was in shock, so was I. The staff is amazing, hotel is cleaned. They are even renovating it. It's still looks great during it. We will most definitely be returning to this location. I keep track of the hotels we stay in and what city and state. So I have a list of hotels that we stay at when we are going through a state and just happen to have to stay over night. Even on long road trips. So this hotel has made it to our local stay hotel
Have stayed here before when working in the area. Nice hotel in Mineral Wells and will plan to stay here again when working in the area. Clean rooms, comfy beds, quiet, no complaints. Not sure about breakfast as I didn't stay for that.
This was our 2nd time to stay at the Best Western Clubhouse In & Suites in Mineral Springs. The hotel is well maintained inside and out. They have a helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is also pet friendly. Nice breakfast area to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. Mineral Wells is a nice area. We would definitely stay here again.
The staff treated us like they really cared about our needs and our comfort. They were very helpful and kind. We previously stayed at Comfort Inn and Suites next door but they past 5 or 6 times we stayed the hotel had just gone down hill and fast so we decided to try out Best Western since we knew we like the location and it was next door...Best decision we ever made. We usually have 5-6 people stay in a room and this hotel actually has a 3 bed room which made our stay so much more enjoyable, everyone got to sleep in a bed and no one had to stay on a pull out couch! The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the bathroom was clean. The elevator works properly, the pool and hot tub area looked really clean (it was cold and windy or we would have tried it out). We are very pleased to be changing our hotel preference from Comfort Inn and Suites to Best Western and wish we would have switched sooner!!
Good: friendly reception at check-in. Exterior of hotel and rooms are being refurbished. Reasonable price for weekend stay, full breakfast. The bad: did not provide room on 2nd floor as requested months in advance. Toilet flushes itself every 30 minutes. Constantly dripping bathtub faucet. While room is "re-newed", some furniture is very worn and damaged, door hinges totally rusted, faucets corroded. Walls/ceiling are thin, you hear all flushing/shower activity and every step of guests above you. Only 12 chairs and four tables in breakfast area = rush hour chaos. Only one staff to support and replenish breakfast supplies = constant shortage of food items, etc. The ugly: large amounts of mildew around window frame. Tobacco smell in hallways. "Weird" smell in room .... had to go to Walmart and get allergy meds to stop sneezing and runny nose associated with this smell.
This hotel continues to use stained sheets and towels. The pool was dirty and had broken pool tiles all over the patio. The refrigerator was broken, but they did switch it out with another one. The night table had some kind of stained white liquid on it. Construction equipment was left in the lobby for everyone to see. The bed was uncomfortable and the room smelled funny even with the A/C turned on.
I had quite a discussion with the hotel owner. I stayed for 5 days. I was told the other handicapped accessible rooms were all full. I asked for a roll in shower. I was offered a higher priced room on the 2nd floor until Sunday when the occupants of the room with the roll in shower would be leaving. I then moved down to the accessible room with the roll-in-shower, Surprise ! surprise! the hotel has only one accessible room when they are required to have a minimum of 4 accessible rooms. Under the ADA the property is required to provide one accessible room for each style (i.e., double bedded room, king room, single room, etc.) well that is not the case here and the Hotel was newly built16 years ago. A full 12 years after the ADA was passed into federal law. The Accessible room I am now staying in is at the far end of the hall from the reception desk, Accessible parking spaces are half way between the front desk and the end of the building where the accessible room is located. The accessible parking spaces are located half way to that accessible room. Accessible parking space signage is not installed at the correct height nor is the van accessible signage for a Van Accessible Space mounted at the correct height. Accessible signage verbiage also does not comply with the minimum standards of the ADA. The grab bar in the accessible roll in shower and the public restrooms are not compliant, toilet tissue and sanitary napkin disposal units are not compliant in the public restrooms, toilet tissue dispenser in the room with the roll in shower is not installed with in compliance, the window curtain closers are not compliant the exterior accessible pathways are not accessible in compliance. Room signage in the hallway designating various rooms are not mounted at the correct height, and on and on. The exterior and interior door operating forces far exceed the minimum requirements for operating mechanisms on entry doors. This hotel gets government contracts to boot. I guess it's time for a federal complaint. So if you have a disability and need accessible accommodation it probably is better to seek another hotel in Mineral Wells, TX.
Quick easy check in, good parking, close to several places to eat. Undergoing a remodel, so not sparkling yet. Work had stopped and clean up done prior to 4:30, so not an issue. Room and beds were nice and comfy. They do allow pets with a stated limit of 100#, but the guests above us apparently slipped a few buffalo past them, and the thundering herd did not quiet down until around 10 pm. Breakfast was typical, but still good,
We were greeted promptly and went up to our room which had a king bed and a sleeper sofa. The room temp was fine. Not hot upon arrival as so many are. I loved the good shower pressure and the availability of water that got hot enough. We slept well since the environment was quiet. The breakfast offerings were good with real bacon and sausage - not mystery meat like the establishment next door. We would definitely stay here again.
Will stay with Best Western from now on. The staff saved the day by getting us two rooms at the last minute to save the family Christmas. Two great room at a great price. All this came after checking my children and grandchildren into a different hotel that turned out to be unacceptable to stay in. We called the Best Western, explained our situation the told us to come in and they would work something out. They did just that, two rooms at even a better rate than the other place and much nicer.
Everything was up to par. Nice appearance and nice staff at desk. Breakfast was kept up with the amount leaving. Breakfast had plenty of items to choose from. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Price was very good.
I have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the last 5+ years. It is always in excellent condition and always clean. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. I LOVE THAT THEY ARE PET FRIENDLY as the wife will not travel without her very well behaved fur babies!
The service here was very friendly and accommodating. Mark and Tim were especially helpful during my stay. Rooms are clean and the morning breakfast is good as well. Thank you for making my stay a great experience.
We were headed west and did not want to be caught in the Dallas-Fort Worth morning traffic so we decided to drive a bit out of the way to this Mineral Wells BW. We found this wonderful hotel well worth the extra 15 minute drive. Very spacious and clean modern & attractive room. Shower was very nice with great water pressure. The full hot breakfast was tasty & satisfying. I can always find something wrong with every hotel room ... not this one! I have it bookmarked and we will be coming back.
Excellent facility. Friendly staff, Great Breakfast, Good exercise room, Clean, quiet rooms.. Easy access from highway 180 with Traffic light. Large well lit parking area. Near numerous restaurants nearby. Quite close to Weatherford. Kick back and enjoy your stay.
Was a Nice relaxing me time get away, every staff member I met was very friendly and very accomodatin, if I was to point out a negative, it would be that the pool was outside! Other than that the stay was excellent!
The hotel and staff is very nice. However housekeeping is don't expect it. They did not clean or service my room saturday after I left early morning. Maids need to be terminated. Someone came into my room and turned off the a/c but did not even leave fresh cups, coffee, towels, etc. I did take pictures but I will have to download my camera after I return home. Stay next door @ Comfort Suites.
I really didn't think I'd have anything to complain about! The rooms were spacious and beautiful. The beds were your standard Best Western beds, the bathroom was your standard Best Western bathroom. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming! And the parking lot was quite easy to navigate. The only issue I found was the "spa", it was poorly planned and stayed cold. This was the only issue I found! Great time!
My wife and I attended the Crazy Water festival with our HOG group and we enjoyed the Best Western Clubhouse. The staff was great, room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel is close to restaurants and shopping. Would absolutely stay there again.
Room and staff were great ,Breakfast was good quality and great selection. My only issue was the cool temps in the hot tub, We were very disappointed that they were not warm enough to enjoy very long. I hope they figure it out as I am sure others were looking forward to using it also. Other than that issue it was a nice stay for us while visiting family.
Our stay at the Best Western Club House Inn and Suites in Mineral Wells was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Our room was fantastic with a spa tub and wonderful bed. The breakfast included almost anything you would like and it was displayed so well. We will definitely stay here again if in Mineral Wells!
The staff is always nice to me. The room is nice and the bed is always very comfortable. This hotel has a workout room in it, so when you get finished with your work (I stay here on business) you can just put on your workout clothes and go down the hall. The breakfast could be a little better but its not bad. Its a great place to stay and its not very expensive
Our family stayed here for a family reunion, the service and rooms were great and comfortable. They provided us with a place we could get together and catch up without disturbing other residents. We will be reaching out to them to lock in space for our family reunion in 2018.
Hotel was very quiet. Very reasonably priced. Full hot breakfast, including bacon, which you don't find in most hotels (as well as sausage, eggs, biscuits, etc.) Beds were comfortable. Room very clean. Highly recommend. Check in - check out easy. Online reservation easy.
Got the "suite" which means larger room, jetted tub, 1 bed jumped price from $50 to $100. Guy at front desk, thinking "Tim" friendly enough. Pool was kinda green yet fairly clear and ppl were using it, hot tub at pool not functioning. Workout room had some decent machines. Breakfast was very good, everything.. sausage links/patties/bacon, real scrambled eggs, fresh gravy, juices were powerful not watered down like some places. Internet was screaming fast over 65MB speeds consistently even on a Saturday evening. Water was hot, room jetted tub worked great drains worked great (sometimes slow drains are a real drag). One thing, the commode must have been the smallest and lowest I've seen in a long time, thought it was elementary school sized... kinda funny. I'd stay here again, no problem. Good location.
Stayed 2 nights here with a friend (who had made the reservation). Room was large, comfortable and clean. There was also a fridge and microwave in room. The complimentary breakfast had a nice selection including waffles, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, and the coffee was decent also. Front desk clerk was very helpful.
Very clean hotel with many of the expected amenities. The hotel is located right on the main drag with easy access. Offers the availability of a meeting room for classes, hospitality suite, seminars, among others. Not a single employee without a great attitude, always willing to go out of their way to provide for your every need,
Nice place to stay. Staff very friendly. Hot breakfast, eggs get a little dry when left out to long and selection of Milk (non fat) and flavor of yogurt limited they want me to lengthen this post as the above is to short so, in a few more words. When I come to stay in the Weatherford and Mineral Wells area I will stay here.
Had to stay in Mineral Wells because hotels in Graham were full. We do have reservations for our next visits to Graham in Graham but if the hotels were unavailable in Graham we would stay at the Mineral Wells Best Western again.
Rooms are always clean, front desk has awesome service, me and my family always enjoy staying here! Has great breakfast and pool area. If we need any accommodations they are always quick to get us what we need. I would say one of the nicest places to stay in this small town.
Nice hotel for the area, free parking and lots of space to park. Easily found, sits beside a major highway. Nice and clean look of exterior. Room was clean and bed was clean and comfortable. Wi-fi and TV worked well. Free HBO. Staff and nice and helpful. Room on 2nd floor smelled slightly of smoke on entering the room but did not linger in the room. AC worked well and it was very hot the days we were there. Snacks, drinks, ice available. Breakfast was OK, about the usual. Did have a variety of foods available. Very good for the price we paid.
Hotel is very nice. Modern and clean. Room exceeded expectations. Good location right near the Mineral Wells State Park. Good value and would stay there again. Staff very helpful for dinner suggestions and things to do.
Just a few miles away from the main highway, interstate 20, Mineral Wells appears to be a small to almost a medium size town. This hotel has a better price for a better stay. There is quietness and cleanness too. What more could you ask?
this place is doing remodeling and it is looking great and we look forward to the planned lobby area remodeling. This is the best place to stay in Mineral Wells in our opinion. This is convenient for our frequent trips to Possum Kingdom Lake. It is more economical value than staying at the lake while our home is being built. The breakfast is not bad for an included breakfast. The rooms are clean and nice size.
Staff were caring about our needs. Our family had come home to lay to rest our mother and we found this to be a good host. The staff arranged for us to have a room to meet together and have a meal. We will come again
Stayed here for a 2 day family reunion event. Hoped for early check-in but that did not happen. One room was ready before 3 and the other was not even ready for quite some time. Rooms were ok, the larger room with a couch looked like they were a little nicer. Nothing special about breakfast.
We were in town to pick up our son from camp constantin early Saturday morning . Picked best western for price and for full breakfast The bed was very comfortable and pillows were great Room was very clean and cold, we arrived in town it was 105 degrees so it was great to walk into a cold room Breakfast was great eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy
Good Review everything worked like clockwork when making reservations. All was good when we checked in and the staff was awesome. Then checking out was also easy and had no issues. I certainly had no problems
Over priced compared to web price, unconcerned front desk clerk. Wallpaper coming off the walls, just a big disappointment over all. It it had not been a date night with my wife it would be a total disaster.
The hotel reeked of cigarette smoke as soon as I opened the doors and walked in the lobby. Our room was suppose to be a non-smoking room, however it still reeked of it as well. Staff was friendly enough to try to make it right, but that hotel has been smoked in so much it will take fresh paint and new carpet to get the smell out.
Staff were nice , rooms were clean , breakfast was ok, we would stay Here again, liked the arrangement of the room, beds were comfortable. Would recommend to a friend or family. Overall was a good experience.
This hotel is very welcoming and eager to accommodate your needs. The hotel next door (Comfort Suites) was very ugly to us and we ended up needing a room last minutes at 9:45 at night and these great folks took really good care of us. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to families traveling and looking for a budget friendly hotel.
Everyone was helpful and did their jobs efficiently. Best Hotel I have stayed at in a very long time. Not one complaint. I have been an assistant manager at a Hampton Hotel, a night auditor at a Comfort Suites hotel and a secret shopper for several hotels. I was very impressed with the facility and the staff.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The entire room was clean and comfortable. Our bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of items. Coffee was good. We'll definitely be staying again.
I stayed w this hotel on 3-25-17 and our room was great. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a perfect and very satisfying stay. The front desk attendant, Krista, was so so much help, she is a huge asset to that hotel.
Mineral Wells if off the beaten path, for some, but it's home for others. We stayed there for almost a couple weeks while we waited to move into our new home. The room size was adequate, the housekeeping service was excellent, the breakfast was usual for that sort place. The people..ALL THE PEOPLE who work there are exceedingly nice.
This is a very friendly hotel. Krista at the front desk is awesome! I was in town checking to see if I wanted to retire there. She gave me directions, made recommendations and helped me with everything I needed. She even called me to see if I was lost - I was! She stayed on the phone with me and gave me turn by turn directions until I found the place I was looking for. Thanks for being so wonderful Krista!
Rented a king non smoking and we were really impressed. Very affordable and the room was CLEAN! The bed was firm but soft enough to be comfortable, good wifi, large HD tv, and roomy mini fridge. All in all an excellent experience! Have stayed at other hotels for higher rates and the rooms haven't been as nice as this one. The staff was also very accommodating and Krista at the front desk was very kind.
Visiting family easy to get to and great parking and pet friendly. Plenty of room in the queen double non smoking and felt clean. Breakfast to kick off the next day. Krista helped us out and made us feel welcomed.
Pet friendly. Krista And Valarie were friendly, professional, and helpful. This is second visit and I plan to stay here each time I visit family in mineral wells. Each time if I needed anything all I had to do was ask.
This was a good location from our work place 30 mile away in Strawn. The hotel is used by a lot of working folks. It is quite and rooms are well appointed. It has a pool for summer use, the breakfast is standard fair. The area does have eateries close by ranging from fast food to sit down. Shopping is as well Wal-mart and more.
The room was very nice. I stayed in the King hot tub room on the bottom floor. This was probably the biggest room I have ever stayed in. Very nice and clean. The bad news is...the hallway stinks so bad, you practically want to run to your room. Not sure what happened in that hallway, but it was just awful from one end to the other. The breakfast was very nice as well. Had lot's to choose from. Ask for a room on the side of the hotel away from the parking lot area as the walls are super thin. Could hear people talking outside way into the night.
Used this hotel during a family funeral, along with other family members. Counter staff had my reservation printed and ready, I had asked for a ground level and was presented a key to ground floor room. Room was ready, very clean. Fridge, microwave, and single cup coffee maker. Nice sofa and coffee table for sitting, a/c worked well, nice size tv with Direct TV cable. Bed was comfortable.Breakfast was nice also, cooked eggs, bacon, and biscuits. Cereal, and donuts, along with coffee, orange and, apple juice. Breakfast are came with a staff member to clean plates off tables of guest that thought this was a 5 star restaurant. Grounds were very clean, before we left a contractor was beginning to tape and cover plants and sidewalk, as they were about to start painting. Check was a breeze, staff was nice and asked about my stay. You could tell that this property was well cared for and the owner/operator was very much in tune with this property.
i made the reservation directly with the front staff and they were very helpful and courteous was not sure if we were going to make it on time and to that city . But the staff was very helpful with no issues what so ever. Knowledgeable of the area
In hometown for personal reasons. Quality room for great price. Always check to see if a Best Western is available. Can always depend on them for a safe, clean environment. Recommended to family that had not planned on staying overnight.
Large rooms. Perfect bed. AC works well. Fridge, microwave, coffee in room. Free bottle of water in room. Good hot breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits/gravy. Make you own waffle. Yogurt. Management makes sure everything is perfect down to the smallest detail. Internet is fast.
Friendly staff, very clean & comfortable environment. The rooms are amazing and affordable. I will definitely be returning soon. The over all experience when you walk into the hotel begins and ends in friendly faces and smiles. They definitely won't let you down.
Check-in was easy and fast. The room itself was nice and comfortable and we all had a great night of sleep. Breakfast was hot with bacon, eggs, sausage patties and links, biscuits and gravy, and the other usual continental offerings. My only complaint is that the Lobby wreaked of smoke and we had to walk through the smell every time we came in and out. Our clothes and bags absorbed the smoke. Most of my stays at Best Western are not like this so I was surprised to have this experience.
This was a great place to stay while in Palo Pinto County for a family reunion. The hotel was very accommodating in setting aside a block of rooms for our family and treated us well. Val at the front desk was very helpful with our needs. Sam in housekeeping was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful hot breakfast. Kelle kept the breakfast well stocked. We would definitely return and enjoyed the hospitality and the great facility. Great price too!
My wife and I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and it has been great. Great location. My wife can go shopping in the outlet store across the road and I can do nothing. The rooms are clean. Staff is very friendly. So what is there not to like! This entire hotel reeks of cigarette smoke. We stayed on the 2nd floor and the hall was really bad. We entered the clearly non-smoking room and the cigarette smell was worse than in the hall. Although the room was cleaned really well the odor was awful. I didn't see much use in changing rooms because the entire hotel had the same odor. I hate too but will probably look for another hotel when visiting Mineral Wells. It's their call if they want to accommodate smokers. I will just have to move on.
I have not stayed in a few months as the need has not arisen, but when I do stay I always have a pleasurable experience. Kiran and his staff are very guest oriented and provide a very clean environment! Bkfst is always great as well!
We stayed over the Labor Day weekend for two nights and the hotel was pretty much full. As expected our room was clean and comfortable, front desk clerks are always friendly and helpful. Breakfast at this BW is one of the best and attendants are always refilling or cleaning the area especially when the hotel is full like this stay. We will continue to stay at this hotel as we come to the area several times a year. Only reason I don't give location top marks is we are always going West so we must travel across Mineral Wells coming or going from our deer lease.
Rooms were clean and fairly quiet. Some noise from other rooms from hallway and doors, but no different than other motels. Great staff. Some preventive maintenance needs to be done on handle tightening and cleaning out of sink drains and overflows BEFORE they become an issue
One of the better mid-priced motels I have stayed at. Service and Staff were top notch. I have stayed here previously and the facility was much improved and very satisfactory. Highly recommend it for a good night sleep.
Love this hotel! I have stayed here multiple times a year in the last few years. Friendly staff and very comfortable room. This trip was solo, but have stayed here for a couple family events. Always a great place to stay!!
Very nice facility. Good representative of the Best Western Brand. Excellent value for the $. Clean, nice, modern. Valarie at check in was extremely helpful with suggestions for dinner and things to do in Mineral Wells. Maribel at breakfast was also excellent - making sure that all items were completely full and answering questions from guests.
Thank you for hosting our Church group last month. All the staff went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. I was born and raised in Mineral Wells and Best Western did my Hometown proud. I loved waking up to the fresh breakfast downstairs. Thanks for making our trip wonderful!
Excellent hotel with large spacious rooms. Business center in lobby, smoking available in some rooms and wifi actually works which can be iffy at Best Western, but here you get an excellent connection. Breakast area is small but has a good variety of items and was constantly kept stocked this time as items ran out, an improvement from my visit last spring where the attendant just watched.
The service was awesome! There are so many friendly people and they are willing to meet your every need! I have truly enjoyed my stay here at this Best Western. They are so flexible and will accommodate any last minute plans you need to make. This is the best experience by far!!
The price was great. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, not like most hotel beds. The breakfast included waffles, bacon and sausage, much nicer than we had expected. Great place to stay.
We stayed at this Best Western when we visited Mineral Wells. We are thinking of moving to the area and wanted to look around the town and local area for a place to retire. Both the clerk and the manager/owner were very friendly and helpful with information about their town. We had a bunch of questions but never felt rushed or that we were bothering either one of them. The room was clean and well kept. The breakfast bar was full of yummy foods. We would highly recommend this Best Western and will stay there again.
I stay here pretty often, and I always have a great stay! The staff is always very nice and very professional, it's always clean, and the complimentary breakfast is great. I never have any problems! I highly recommend them!
Stayed here for third year for a couples golf tournament. Hotel is very clean, staff is friendly & helpful, convenient location to golf course. Elevator broke down on second day of stay, that was the only negative. Very attractive & clean pool area.
This is a great place to stay. It's quiet and clean. There complementary breakfast is wonderful. The staff is very professional, helpful and friendly. It's close to the gold course, and there is a state park down the road, that has hiking trails, a beach, fishing. There a grill out side of you want to cook out. There's a pool with a hot tub. Which you don't even need if you get one of these rooms with a hot tub. The air conditioning works amazing. Check out is noon, so we are not in a hurry to leave, which we never are because we have such a great time every time we come here. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Mineral Wells, this is the place.
I needed a night away. I decided to check into best western. It was great choice! Clean room n for a great price. I didnt use the pool or bbq area. But was pretty cool they do have that. Mr. Patel was taking care of the pool while i was staying. He was very helpful to me and the young lady at the desk. You can tell the staff takes of the property. I totally recommend stating here for clean. N competitive price.
I was very impressed with the quality and price - how clean and well maintained everything was - The breakfast was better than what you normally get - As a road warrior I am going to change my travels around so I can stay here on future trips this direction
This hotel was so clean. I have not had much luck at Best Westerns in the past but this one has restored my faith in them. The towels were so white I did not want to take them to the pool. Had a very pleasant stay and will definitely stay there next time I am in town. Breakfast was very good. A lot of choices and very fresh. I was treated very well. Make sure you give them a try.
We recently stayed at the Best Western Club House Inn & Suites in Mineral Wells TX and it was an experience I do not want to go thru again. First off when I tried to make the reservations, the young lady at the front desk was very unprofessional , told her what I wanted she acknowledged what I wanted sent me a confirmation, when we arrived instead of two queens 1st floor, had a king 1st floor, went to the front desk, didn't have anything on 1st floor had one on 2nd floor I'm, handicapped is why 1st floor is best. Got to the room and there was only ONE (1) chair in it I guess other person was suppose to sit on the floor. Called the front desk, clerk said the other chair had been broken and they were working on getting it repaired, turns out that was a lie, found out all of the rooms only have ONE chair in them, that is the worst thing we have ever encountered in a BW. Breakfast area was very small, barely enough room to serve yourself and no place to set, all the three tables were full. We will not stay there again, if you like to be uncomfortable sitting on the floor stay here.
We have stayed at this hotel three times while traveling between Houston and Graford Texas. The staff is always nice and helpful. The rooms clean and comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful. Hot items are cooked in a microwave, s not fresh, but it is free. The pool is clean and always busy. One downfall is the room is generally warm upon arrival (in summer). If you like a cool room to sleep in get there early.
This hotel could be decent except for the uncoverable smell of smoke in the rooms. We had 6 small kids in our group that had to sleep in left-over smoke. If you're a non-smoking family, this hotel is not the right fit. We had two rooms with this problem and couldn't be moved to another room.
We were traveling with a small dog back to our home in Iowa. After a 10 hour drive it was refreshing to stop in a motel that let us leisurely relax and get a good nights sleep and a good breakfast the next morning. The only fault we could find was the coffee was to strong for our taste!
Smoking rooms on the bottom floor. This made the lobby have an odor. Pet friendly is one think, having a dog perched on the table that my breakfast will be on the next morning is another. I won't be back. Poop on potty and whiskers in my sink.
This Best Western has gone above & beyond as far as taking care of people. I am a Disabled Veteran,in a wheelchair. They moved a recliner in for me to sleep as I am unable to sleep in a bed. They also were one of the sponsors for the event. They also were the motel that all of the coaches & players from Kansas stayed with. The whole staff went out of thier way to make sure everything was taken care of and the family had everything they needed.
Very nice staff... good breakfast... great internet service... I would stay here again. You are at the end of the main street through this town, which makes every accessible. MEsquite Pitt is amazing and right across the street!!
We stayed at this hotel for two nights (one previously planned, one booked at the last minute). It was clean and moderately priced. The morning breakfast was filling and there were the standard hot breakfast options: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, different bread options, pastries, yogurt, boiled eggs, and even freshly made waffles. There was also juice and coffee. The rooms were clean, though the beds were not the most comfortable. A lot of that has to do with our extremely comfortable bed at home, though. The people were really nice and the night manager when we checked in was very accommodating. The shower head was not appropriately proportioned for the shower and as a result it was positioned to only hit the wall opposite from where it was mounted, which caused water to pool on the floor, making the entire floor pretty slippery. The water pressure was great and there was always hot water. Overall, the stay was enjoyable and we would stay there again.
This hotel is located on Highway 180 in Mineral Wells. It's very convenient to Walmart, Walgreens or the clothing outlet across the street. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are very clean. There are several eateries on Highway 180..fast food or dine -in.
Excellent location at the edge of Mineral Wells for visiting everything this area has to offer. Our room was large and comfortable. The wifi worked well on my tablet, I never tried the computer this time. Breakfast was very good but the area was too small for the number of tables and amount of guests. Also the attendent did not keep the food or the drinks stocked as well as they should have been. There was also no 24 hour lobby coffee service as I have found in many other hotels, but the night clerk was willing give us extra packets for the in-room service.
We reserved a king room. Our room was large with a living room area in addition to the bedroom area. There was a frig and microwave in the room. Additionally there was a free breakfast that was average. There were only a few tables in the breakfast area so it was hard to get a seat. The cost of our room was really cheap compared to what the cost would have been in a large city. We had a non-smoking room on the 2nd floor. When walking through the 1st floor corridor it smelt badly of cigarettes. This is not an upscale hotel so the class of people that stay here aren't going to be professionals. However, I'm not sure there is an upscale hotel in this town and I don't think many professionals would have a reason to visit this town. Also of note is that dogs are welcome at this hotel.
From the time I checked in to the time we left, everything was great, The staff was very friendly, informative, and warm!!! She even went to over and beyond to let us know that the Mesquite Pit gave a discount if you show them your room key. Very nice and warm. The entire place was clean, including the rooms. Breakfast was amazing and the young lady setting it up was very good. She was on top of everything, including keeping items stocked to the full!!! We definitely be staying here again.
If you're looking for cleanliness, and a comfortable bed, this is the place! The continental breakfast was decent, even had make your own waffles. I was pleased there were hot food items available. The only thing I didn't care for was the shower head was not adjustable to tilt, but I that was easily overlooked because it was placed high in the shower.
Have stayed several times....always satisfied, it says I have to say 200 letters, to me a night in a motel does not require 200 letters to say I came, I slept I left. NOw I am at 166 so I have to add more lines of jibberish.
After a long day on the road it was nice to stop into a hotel with friendly and easy check-in. We had a very comfortable room and enjoyed the stay. Not sure we got a non-smoking room though... We asked to move after the first room smelled smoky and thought the second room may have been smoked in as well. Breakfast was good with eggs, bacon and sausage offered.
Staff is friendly. Rooms are very up to day, well maintained and clean and the rooms are well, roomy. Bathroom was very clean and lots of towels. All the amenities; on site laundry, pool, exercise room, and the room had coffee service, microwave, fridge, large flat screen tv, free wifi plus cable internet, hair drier, ironing board, nice couch all wrapped in an economical package. The big onus is the free breakfast. Bacon, eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, and much much more at no additional charge. Rooms were quiet as well as the entire facility. A1 place to stay in Mineral Wells.
Great big rooms at a great price. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and breakfast is very good. Fresh hot breakfast or cold. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a great place to stay!
We go to Mineral Wells frequently as we have a deer lease close by. We prefer this hotel because the rooms are great for the price, the staff is always helpful and breakfast is always above average for "free" breakfast at hotels. We have not been disappointed and we have been going to this hotel for two years.
Excellent customer service & friendly staff! Room was bigger than normal (king), extremely comfortable. The breakfast was super delish! Warm biscuits, gravy, bacon, & sausage. Highly recommend this location.
We would stay here again - all our issues with the room were taken care of right away and then we were given a new non smoking room with no issues at all. Excellent fast service from the management team - will be back to stay here on the next trip to Mineral Wells in Texas.
I recommend this hotel whole heartedly. The room was amazing and comfortable. Plenty of room to enjoy your stay. We had a king room and it has a couch and a coffee table, desk and chair, refrigerator and microwave and coffee pot!!! The hallways were inviting and not forgot in design and cleanliness! I slept like a baby and even my husband who is always up several times a night slept through the night comfortably.
Ive always stayed at the best western . It has great quality.. Fast service and luxury rooms.. I highly recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Mineral Wells. They Manager is always friendly and helps me decide on the best room possiable. Great Rates are thr best. I truly apperciate the customer service this hotel offers R.D.H
Spending out second February in Tucson. Traveling from Osage Beach. Missouri. Planned trip via AAA. Originally planned to stay north of Dallas/Ft. Worth, but decided to keep going. Looked up Mineral Wells, found this Best Western in AAA book. Wonderful hotel. Pet friendly,, which we needed. Check in receptionist recommended Mesquite Pit restaurant for dinner and get a Best Western Discount (10%). Wonderful restaurant. Out room is quiet and large. Great parking. Price for room is great.
The room I was in had a lot of issues-- the toilet kept running after flushing it and I had to remove the lid of the tank and manually make it stop; the towel rack fell off the wall in my hand; there was no hair dryer in my room (should have been wall mounted) and they could not find me a replacement until the next night-- good thing I was traveling with a co-worker who let me come to her room to dry my hair.
Traveled to Mineral Wells TX for vacation. Best Western was a great value and also accepted our pet. Staff was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. Would highly recommend you stay here if you travel to Mineral Wells TX.
Very nice property at competitive pricing. Nice breakfast. Accommodating staff and the manager, Karen was an asset to the organization. We stayed for business and were impressed by the room size, breakfast provided, HBO and WiFi,
Great location, great breakfast (really enjoyed the hot breakfast with fresh fruit, tea and honey), great shower, great location, awesome sleep...I cannot complain about a pleasant hotel in a small town.
Have stayed at this location multiple times. Had to look elsewhere a couple of times when oilfield employees had this one sewed up. Never have had any significant issues. Minor issues have been promptly taken care of. Quick check in and out, clean rooms, clean location and love that they are really pet friendly!!
Excellent hotel, would definitely stay again. Clean, proficient staff, great breakfast. Convenient location. Comfortable bed. Very roomy room. Would highly recommend this facility in Mineral Wells. Satisfied.
Recently stayed here with my wife for a relaxing time. The two person jacuzzi room is very spacious. Rooms are a great value. The king size bed is comfortable. In the morning between 6 and 9 breakfast is included at no additional charge. It consists of sausage, eggs, bacon, hash browns, waffles, oatmeal and fruit. There are plenty of nearby restaurants. At the Mesquite Pit (2 minute drive) they offer a 10% discount if you show your room key. Very clean hotel despite the fact that they are pet friendly. Never any pet odor in the room. Been stay at this here two to three times a year for the last four years. On the rare occasion that something isn't right the staff is ALWAYS quick to rectify the situation. I do highly recommend staying at this location.
This hotel offered a spacious room with a king bed, a couch and tv for a reasonable price. This is a very clean hotel. It sits on top of a hill as you come into town and has a convenient, quieter location. It is not that far to Walmart and places to eat. My room was very clean and all the appliances worked. My bed was very comfortable. The pool is outside, but since I stayed in December; no pool for me. The breakfast actually had hot and cold food! The front desk staff, the cleaning staff, and the breakfast attendant were all very friendly and helpful. When I checked out, the desk person asked me how my stay was. I appreciated that. My only gripe was that the shower head height was not adjustable and the walls were thin. I could hear everything going on in the hallway. I stayed on the first floor.
Have stayed here twice with the year. The first trip much better than the second. We stayed on second floor on the first trip. Room was clean, quite. This time first floor next to elevator and back door. Room much more worn. Breakfast first trip was good. This trip was Thanksgiving Day, the girl cooking was much more interested in telling everyone about her family and life. Nothing was stocked. Ran out of coffee, paper plates, eggs, waffle batter. Had to ask for all of it. Then had nerve to tell guests she had to go home and cook and was anxious to leave. Was slightly better the next day but still was not impressed with no seating room for guest to sit within pod area with people having to sit down hall in conference room. I do have to say front desk people have always been welcoming and helpful at all times.
We had great support and service in the MIneral Wells Best Western. We had been traveling several days, yet this Best Western can be easily differentiated from other locations, because it was so pleasant, in every way. Highly recommended.
I visit family once a year and I stay here every time. Staff is very polite and helpful. Room is nice a cool and bed is comfortable. Everything was clean and it smelled good. Breakfast was great and love the free coffee and cocoa. The weight room is nice as well. Also love the free wifi. I would suggest this place to everyone visiting Mineral Wells!
This was a great place to stay! The breakfast buffet and pool/spa were wonderful. Beds were comfortable, and the staff was very accommodating. Location was a plus for my plans. Would definitely stay here again!
This was a great place to get away for the weekend! The staff was great and the rooms were very nice and the beds were quite comfy! I would recommend this place to any out of towers or even the locals! It's a great home away from home. We will definitely stay here again!
My room was clean and staff were really polite . I look forward to staying here every year . The beds are always comfortable and clean. The breakfast is delicious and the coffee is great. Weight room is clean and great equipment . I love that there was free wifi as well. Also pet friendly which is awesome .
Hotel is new. We have stayed here two years in a row. They have the same staff which says alot. The staff is great! They are so nice and will do anything they can to see your needs are met. The rooms are always very clean. Highly recommend staying here. There is also great restaurant less than a mile from them Mesquite Pit.
Comfortable, clean, great breakfast, overall pleasant stay, considering our reasons for the stay. We have stayed here in the past to visit family in the area and we will definitely use this facility again for future visits.
Great hotel always stay here when in town, rooms are always very clean, great and friendly staff, close to town, very nice outdoor pool and work out center, great breakfast Buffett, pet friendly, staff is always willing to go the extra mile to be helpful and accommodating
Like new rooms with free WiFi, flat screen TVs, free full breakfast buffet from 6-9am included, complete weight room, swimming pool and hot tub. Plus convenient meeting room available upon request. Free coffee and hot chocolate in lobby 24/7!
My wife and I wanted a get away. The room was clean and very nice. The bed was comfortable and the a/c was cold. We stayed in a room with the jacuzzi tub and it was a wonderful way to relax after seeing the sights of the surrounding towns and counties. The breakfast was really good. We loved the location also. It was easy to find but not right in the middle of a bunch of crazy goings on. Will defiantly stay here again when we return for another visit.
Stayed here for one nite. Very nice property. Lobby and dining room was clean and tastefully decorated. Staff was friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. My room was clean and the bathroom had very nice towels. The complementary breakfast was excellent. Eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal , waffles, yogurt, and more. Would definitely stay here again.
We were in town as had family in hospital immediate surgery. made reservation and arrived at hotel did not have room. Computer glitch. Management could not fix. They could not accommodate. Had to call 1-800 and people there gave me a different story. Need my money back.
It was nice , the room was comfortable as was the bed. The eggs for breakfast were a little hard. Every thing else was ok. You have several eateries around the area, plus if you eat at the Mesquite restaurant down the road you get 10% off your bill.t
This is a very clean place to stay, inside & out. Because my husband has COPD, my first plan of attack is to clean the a/c filters. I was VERY pleased to discover nice, clean filters! Although we did not eat the breakfast, I had the opportunity to view the selections. Looked like the food was well prepared & enjoyed by other guests. We know the lady, Karen Munn, at the front desk. Was pleased to see that she's still there, friendly & polite, as always.
We had to call and make our reservations to make sure they had a room for our dogs. The lady that helped with our reservations, and checked us in and out, was very, very helpful. I don't know if I've ever had somebody as helpful with the actual process of checking in--especially with me forgetting things that I needed to do. They didn't have any more just plain rooms so we ended up taking a suite. It was not that much more than the regular room and even with the pet fee it was less than a cabin, which was our original intent....plus a free hot breakfast. It also provided extra room for the dog crate and "stuff" we had to bring along. We even enjoyed the frogs that came in the evening to feast on crickets and grasshoppers.
Over all my stay was very good. The room was neat and tidy. The staff made sure we had everything we needed at check in. The staff was very respectful ad made it easy to cheek out. My only complaint is that the pool area closes early.
