"Almost perfect. Charging me after-the -fact for something I didn't order isn't setting well with me."
We checked in on the 13th and checked out the following morning. In the process of checking out, the young lady asked if we ordered any sundries. On my surprise, I told her we ordered NOTHING. I received the receipt and otherwise all was good. Until I checked my card account, which reflects 9.97 on hold on my debit card. They apparently found a way to get more money. We are, or maybe were regular guests there. That's questionable now.

"Great coffe service!"
Nice, updated and clean facility. The coffee machine in the lobby was a winner. Very convenient to driving through Shreveport. Rooms and beds were good, lobby and parking excellent. One of the better BW+ experiences.

"Very nice hotel"
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds are extremely comfortable and the breakfast has a nice variety of food. They kept everything out fresh. Room and hotel was very clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay here again.

"Lying money hungry business!"
I was guaranteed an accessible room with a roll in shower. I even called the day we traveled to ensure that's what I was getting only to find out they overbooked and I ended up with a regular room. They could have cared less and told me that was normal hotel procedure. When you are handicapped a regular room/shower does not work. I will never stay at a Best Western again.

"Bad choice"
The reviews are off on this location. It's in a rough neighborhood. The parking was non-existent. The staff wasn't helpful about the parking. The advice was to park in an alley behind a Dollar General. There seemed to be some sort of group on the floor that was up most of the night and very loud. The room itself was alright - a little worn. If the hotel were transported to a different location, it would have been OK at best.

"GREAT staff!"
Can't say enough great things about the staff here. They were VERY friendly, went out of their way to greet and thank us for staying at the hotel and went out of their way to accommodate holiday weekend travelers. We were in town for the Mudbug Festival. We travel often and I can honestly say I have not been smiled at, interacted with and greeted as often or as nicely as we were during our stay here. Love the outdoor eating area off of the dining room. Only "negative" was the mattress was a bit too firm for my liking and the sheets were a little "rough and scratchy" but this by no means would deter me from staying here again. The general store next door had customers that loitered late at night in the parking lot and made us feel a bit uncomfortable at night, but the staff was on top of what was going on and intervened appropriately.

"Average is the rating as this hotel is just that average.."
Nothing special here but still an overall good hotel.. maybe a little high price for what you get though.. Front desk staff was nice, and for our purpose the location was fine, as we were just passing through and being right on the interstate was a plus. FYI the pull out sofa bed is horrible so if you need that amenity be prepared to be disappointed or go somewhere else..

"Startled, shook, afraid rattled"
Front desk came banging on my doors hours after I checked in. A phone call or gentle knock would have been better. Explain why she was banging on door. Don't laugh at me after I come down to the desk to inquire what is going on.

"Nice stay"
My stay at best western was amazing the front desk clerk was awesome. I did not get to catch her name but on yesterday she worked front desk and breakfast. She was very sweet and outstanding. She went out her way to make sure breakfast was out and ready while running back and forward attending guest at the front

"Beautifull hotel just everything broken"
The room was great just that the pool, ice machine, laundry room, coffee and juice machine were broken. always had to wait for breakfast food to be brought out. Cheapest utensils i have ever seen. no room service.

"Nice Place To Stay If You Don't Care About Amenities"
Let me start by saying that if you are just looking for a nice hotel to sleep in and that's all you are looking for, this place is pretty nice. But if you are looking for amenities as well, you are going to be disappointed. Upon arrivial, we found out that the ice machine on every floor was broken and they did not know when it would be fixed. We also found out that the pool and spa were closed until December of 2022. My kids were pretty disappointed. Next was breakfast. This was a pretty large hotel but there was only one waffle maker. Once we got a waffle, we found out there were no forks. Had to eat with a spoon and knife. The juice machine was broken and didn't look like it had been working for quite a while. They ran out of eggs half way through breakfast. Finally, the employees seemed lifeless and uninformed. If you asked a question, they didn't know and didn't seem to care to know. When you are in a job based on customer service, you have to at least seem to care about the customer.

"Not a 'Plus' hotel"
Cleanliness of the rooms was way sup par. Floors not vacuumed. Walls dirty and scratched as well as furniture. Bathroom floors were sticky and there were signs of the shower not being cleaned prior to arrival.

"Pay by the hour"
This had to be the worst Best Western I have ever stayed at. If you have the option stay somewhere else. The toilet was plugged upon arrival the A/C took 4 hours to cool from75 to 68. Breakfast was put up early. Do not stay at this hotel.

"Do NOT Stay Here!"
DON'T STAY HERE! Room was gross. There was hairs in the tub and hair/dust in the corners of the bathroom and a huge hair ball on the carpet. The window was covered with handprints. The fridge was dirty and I had to put some of the shelving in place cause they were just jammed in sideways. The room had a weird smell. They told us there would be breakfast and there was none. We had already moved rooms once because of a chirping smoke alarm (doubt that room was any cleaner but I was only in it for two minutes max). I had been on the road since 3am and got in at 10:30pm so I didn't feel like changing rooms for a second time and when I talked to them the next morning they acted like there was nothing to be done since I slept there. Reading through comments it's evident they don't care, just the same pre-made response with no means of fixing/righting the situations. DON'T STAY HERE (also I was told management would get a hold of me to fix things but they still haven't)
"Exceeded"
This wasnt our first choice, but should have been. It was more than we budgeted for, but it was worth every penny. Staff were friendly, rooms were immaculate, wifi was fast, hot breakfast was indeed a hot breakfast wirh a variety of options. Pool was superb. This needs to be everyones first choice. Sleep with quality and peace of mind.
"Terrible, NASTY, and such a let down."
do not stay here. had mold on roof, bath tub left dirty with stains on the towels. the entire place smells of weed. no hot breaks. offered apples and bananas. total waste of money. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
"Strange experience at a good brand Hotel."
The hotel is in Shreveport which an overall sketchy city anyway. Mostly all the Business's have fences around them. Bret western plus is a nice brand of hotel. This location has a nice fitness center and an indoor pool with a hot tub. I was fully satisfied with the room. The bed was very comfortable and they offer Directv which kind of rare in hotels. Most use cable or a limited version of Dish. The parking is accommodating of small trucks but not full size 18 wheelers. The staff was present at the desk this time but last time I stayed they were nowhere to be found in person or on the phone. My complaint is the fancy spacious breakfast area has went to bare rations for options. They waffle maker was unplugged with no batter to make one. The pancake station the same. The oatmeal was there in bags but just like the waffles and pancakes there were no toppings available like the sign said. They did offer 3 kinds of cereal with milk either out of a pitcher or in a carton. There were danishes and muffins available. They also had juice and coffee. On the other side of this huge restaurant looking dining area past the empty bar was a non operational burrito station. Next was the hot food area that previously had eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy but this time was bare. So it's basically like staying in a nice hotel but seeing what the breakfast used to be but isn't anymore. Covid took away a lot of the hotel restaurants/ bars and some locations have chosen not to bring them back. Very disappointing.
"Flippant Service and No Breakfast"
Nice looking hotel with good amenities for the price range, although, over-priced IMO. Room felt damp and service was questionable with flippant attitude from staff about hotel issues. Breakfast was very late and almost non-existent when it finally started. Had to eat elsewhere. Will not stay here again as there are better options in the area.

"Great hotel"
When we stay at this hotel never have any issues and my husband and I would stay at this hotel in the near future.So chosing this hotel would be a good chose room is always clean and the beds are comfortable
"False advertisement"
Website stated hot breakfast, this is one amenity that I look forward to when booking. Well if you are like me that travels a lot for business a hot breakfast makes a big difference; one don't have to go out looking for breakfast. This particular time HOT BREAKFAST wasn't available. I hope this is a one time thing.
"Poor maintenance"
I've lived in hotels for over 33 years. I booked room by mistake after seeing reviews. There all true. It's sad to see such a nice hotel being operated poorly. Mainly rooms dirty due to lack of help, especially bathrooms. Lobby floors and elevator as well.

"Horrible experience"
We chose the hotel for its location close to the airport and had the usual Best Western quality in mind. The room wasn't really clean, hairs in the sink and bed sheets were definitely not fresh. They were wrinkled like someone already slept in it before. The bed frame was cotton covered and had large holes. The AC smelled so bad that we had to turn it off. Need urgend cleaning and disinfection. All in all, not worth the money. In actual fact, such room better not offered for any price. Sorry, I'm staying a 100 nights a year in hotels. That was the wore I remember in the last years.

"Good stay"
room was clean and comfortable. no complaints clerk at front desk was helpful. The free breakfast was great and warm. Biscuts and gravy sausage eggs waffles anything you can ask for in one place and was fresh as well.
"Really raised the standards!"
I'm a Best Western member,saw a nice price on my mobile app, and decided to check this hotel out. Exceeded my expectations with EVERYTHING! Made me a little disappointed in staying at other top name hotels after staying here.
"Room"
Room needs some maintenance... Toilet wobbled and a tile in bathroom was not fastened to the wall. Breakfast choices were good and coffee was great and plentiful. Really enjoyed the outdoor patio. Employees were very friendly.
"NO INTERNET, sloppy but beautiful breakfast room."
This is a new property, and was clean and well lit. My check in was a breeze and the staff member was just so good at her job, smart and quick. The room was clean. However, within minutes of our arrival we discovered that there was NO INTERNET. That remained the case until check out, no explanation or concession was offered. At 6:15am, the breakfast room was sloppy and already in need of attention - the little bucket at the coffee station was overflowing, for instance. This a lovely space but the food is not laid out properly, and the serving spoons on their coasters slide on the counter, just looking to fall off. The napkins on one side of the room, utensils on the other, the built-in napkin holders on each table empty, that kind of thing. Good breakfast food, eggs, sausages, etc. Then there was loud rhythm and blues music coming from the "Prep Room" aka kitchen, but no sign of the attendant. This sure sounds petty, and of course I could have moved, but it was 6am.
"poor quality hotel"
On Friday night 08/27/2021, My wife and I reserved a room at the Best Western Plus Airport Inn at 4927 Monkhouse Drive in Shreveport, LA. Upon entering room 202, we immediate smelled cigarette smoke. It was posted in the bathroom on the sink that this was a non-smoking room. The AC was on 60 degrees. We tried several times to raise the temperature but the thermostat kept flicking back to 60. We eventually had to turn the AC off. The carpet and bathroom floor had food crumbs and lint on it. The bathroom sink was dirty. The night stand between the beds had fruit stems on it plus something like jelly smeared on it. The desk area and dresser top also had food debris. The TV was not working, not hooked up to cable. We used our Clorox disinfecting wipes before we laid anything down. When complained to the night manager, he appeared unconcerned and offered no help to rectify this mess. The next morning when checking out, we expressed our concern to the representative at the desk. She told us to contact the manager Kunal Lalwala and that he should be in sometime in the afternoon. We tried twice to speak with him concerning the room condition amid a Covid pandemic, but was told that he was out of office or not coming to work today. We then called customer service at 1-800-528-1238 and spoke to a representative who took the information and would follow up with the hotel manager. To date, still waiting on her follow up. This experience was unacceptable especially during a pandemic. This hotel is a health hazard and I cannot believe there is no one who is held accountable for these horrid conditions. We will never stay at another Best Western Hotel. Maintaining a comfortable and clean hotel does not seem to be a high priority and the no communication from the manger leaves us with the opinion that it is not a concern. We sent two certified letters to the CEO of Best Western, David Kong with no response. We were not looking for back compensation but as a health care provider we were more concerned with the blasé attitude of the staff as to the safety and cleanliness of this hotel during a pandemic.

"Horrible place to stay"
This is a horrible hotel, outdated and dirty. Coffee pot was broken in our room. The whole place stinks would not recommend this to no one. Next time I'm in this city I Will Stay at a different hotel. I usually love staying at best western plus as their rooms are always spacious and clean. Don't stay here!

"Nope"
I cannot recommend this place. The room looked nice when we first checked in, but it didn't take long for us to spot crayons and papers between the wall and the couch, splatters on walls and the loose faucet in the shower. We also found frozen food in the fridge. Just gross. I am still waiting for a gift card to be applied. I was told to show the email at checkin, but at checkin I was told it had to be printed or emailed to the manager. Breakfast had several options and a huge, nice seating area, but no one was cleaning the tables. This place is nicely appointed, but someone needs to care about maintenance and cleaning!
"Gone down hill"
This was my go to place to stay when flying in and out of Shreveport. The room was dingy, smelled bad, was in bad shape, etc. The breakfast wasn't bad. I thought it was funny that all of the descriptions of the food were wrong. Generally better than most. I told the desk person that there was a mess in the elevator floor and they thanked me, the next day it was still there.

"A hotel with serious problems"
There is so much wrong with this hotel. Dirty toilet a check in, lights not working, guests being sent to rooms already occupied, running out of some food at breakfast, coffee pot broken plus much more.

"A Terrible Experience"
Hotel & room cleanliness extremely poor - Very little cleaning and sanitizing done. Television system none functioning upon check-in - Took two days to have the cable box reset. Laundry facilities none functioning - Hotel manager said he will have repaired, not completed. Old bedding - Balled linen, felt disgusting.

"Kind of gross"
As much as I wished I could leave a good review, I can't. This place is very much lacking the upkeep in the rooms. I walked into the bathroom and there are stains on the inside. The carpets feel damp as well as the beds. The beds are barely made and look like they have just been thrown together when cleaning. The toilet had poop marks left from the last people who stayed here. Absolutely disgusting. I would give 0 stars if I could.

"Disappointing!"
We had to switch rooms when we checked in because ours wasn't clean. The second room wasn't much better. We cleaned the room and disinfected with our own supplies for over an hour before we could shower or sleep. The room did not meet Covid protocols at all! Location of the hotel did not make us feel safe either.

"Breakfast was the best here. Floor needed cleaning though."
The staff here was wonderful and very helpful. The room was nice and quiet and comfortable. Don't go barefoot though since the floor was not clean and your feet will be very dirty. I didn't realize until I got in the shower and the tub was so dirty from my feet. They have a lot of construction crews here that bring in mud and dirt apparently. We did have to ask for bathroom linens and more pillows as they were short on them, I guess.
"FRONT DESK STAFF ARE RACISTS AGAINST WHITE PEOPLE"
The front desk staff are racists against all white people and will make sure your stay is miserable with the hope you never come back again and they will not help you in any way you ask and will not answer your questions and hope you will leave early and not come back to the Best Western Hotel in Shreveport, Louisiana!
"Overall, we won't be back."
Stay was okay, but we will probably never be back. The hotels was in a good location and was up to date but very dirty! The lobby and elevator looked like they hadn't been cleaned in days the rooms were also very dirty. Our room the tables had not been wiped off, in who knows how long there was something sticky all over them, and grease marks. There was dust everywhere. Blood splatter on the wall. Something all over the remote. Floors were filthy. The bath room sink leaked onto the floor when you turned it on. Looked like the only thing that had been done was the sheets changed and clean towels put in. The staff was very friendly. But when I went back down later to get a drink there was no one to be found, I waited probably five minutes ended up putting the drink back and returning to my room.

"Disgusting pool area and shortage of wash cloths"
Pool area had dirty towels, socks and food smashed on floor. Asked staff to clean and several hours later still had not. Next morning still the same and asked staff again and was cleaned promptly. Housekeeping had a shortage of wash cloths. Requested from front desk at night 3x and no one ever delivered. I gave up until new crew came on morning shift and rcvd them

As much as I love staying in bestwestern hotel the only hotel I stay in where every i travel this was poor service talk with management no results only covering for the employee as to why they did r didn't do they're job I'm very disappointed in that service

Clean and comfortable nights stay,the breakfast area was spotless and staff was friendly. Bed was so comfy and coffee was hot!!parking was a little tight for trucks but well lit and appeared safe.go enjoy.
"Rude employee"
The morning desk clerk was extremely rude when I attempted to use my promotional gift card. She stated she was not authorized to take it and that only a manger could do that. I asked to speak to the manager and she informed me he would not be in for several hours. I asked if she could call him for authorization, she said his card was at the end of the counter and I could call him myself. I have not had an issue at any other BW using my promo gift cards, and I have never been treated as rudely by a BW employee as I was at this location.
"Room"
The room mirror was dirty not cleaned the beds were made but not to a hotel standard in my opinion. There were rust and stains in tub behind toilet and on back of toilet. we didn't have any towels at the pool when we went swimming. There were no covid guidelines for the pool everyone could enter at any capacity which to me was unsafe. The jets in hot tub went out while we were in the pool. a lot of people including front desk staff did not have masks on. the freezer to room refrigerator was built up with ice so we couldn't use freezer part. I will not stay at hotel again

"Mediocre"
Great hotel awesome breakfast but cleanliness of the rooms was lacking the friendliness of hotel staff was none existent... the over night lady was extremely rude.. for 104$ a night I expected a lot more from this hotel I was very disappointed only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because of the boy who checked me in maintenance guy and breakfast lady other than that staff if very unwelcoming.. housekeeper started banging on my door at 945am while my 3 kids were asleep and when I didn't come to the door after 30 seconds of banging she just walks in while in naked getting out the shower to tell me it's almost check out time I've never had this happen to me at any other best western... usually this is one of the best hotel chains to stay at but not this one.. learned my lesson

"Unclean room"
Room was dirty and no up keep. Window leaked water and by the looks it had been for a while. Looked like the air unit was replaced and no longer used the wall thermostat. Table edge was glued on and had glue on top of table. there was grass in the bed sheets.

"Great Location"
Fairly new hotel right off interstate..you would think during covid times all rooms would be spotless. There was residue in both tubs. I stayed on 2nd and 4th floors. Stains on sheets and shower curtains.
"VERY DISCOURAGING and SLIGHT LACK OF ACCOMMODATION/SERVICE"
The pool and spa were both cold from the time that we checked in for one night to a few hours before check out the next day. Housekeeping came knocking at 10:35 a.m. when we requested an 11:30 check out 2 hours before normal checkout time on January 1st. She knocked once and then 1 1/2 seconds later, barged in at 10:30 a.m. when we had requested an 11:30 late check-out at least 2 hours prior to it. I had also called a couple days after checkout because my card ended up being in the negative balance from my suite shop charges and was not reversed with the difference from the $100 deposit. I have worked in a hotel for 4 years so I know what I'm talking about as well as dealing with other multiple different cards of my own whenever I travel and I use the one and only card that refunds me the same day after I'm checked out each time. The breakfast was cool until I realized it was slightly cold. We were placed across the hallway from a bunch of loud adults and kids with about 10 of them in the room. Who were also bunched up in the hallway talking loudly around 7:50 a.m. Shananza was the only one that made it somewhat manageable rather than going to another hotel that night. She was very friendly. Tanya also tried to do the best she could without going way beyond. I'd like a response from the manager. If not I will be calling corporate Tuesday morning. Thanks!
"Disgusting"
Mask rule NOT enforced. NO staff members wearing masks, from the front desk to housekeeping. There was food left in my room fridge from previous guest and clumps of hair on my carpet. Front desk lady was rude and was more interested in continuing her conversation (with a fellow who also wasn't wearing a mask) than addressing any issues. Please avoid this property. It USED to be super clean and friendly when I visited in 2018, but it is DISGUSTING now.
"Brand New, but not "Brand Worthy" - Dirty & Unfriendly"
Brand new hotel inside and outside. However, horrible housekeeping and front desk staff. Asked for a couple extra coffee pouches - "can't find any, sorry" was the response. Housekeeping left dirty/hairy cleaning rag on desk - brought it down to frontdesk - no "sorry" or other reaction. Dirty bathtub, towels, hair in bedding/linens. Will not come back here.
"Safe and Convenient Near I-20 & Airport"
My wife and I were visiting Shreveport for business. I'm a native of Shreveport. Sadly, Covid-19 shut down most of the area. Therefore, it will be difficult to access the quality of the hotel. We opted to stay at the Best Western close to the airport. Check-in was smooth. My wife and I stayed in a nice studio with a king size bed and one bathroom. The hotel was clean. Our room was clean. That's critical during the pandemic. The hotel amenities included complimentary Wi-Fi access. Parking was free. There was complimentary breakfast. However, Covid-19 has reduced this amenity to ‘grab n go.' Overall, the hotel is a good choice for travelers who are new to the area. The hotel is a safe bet.
"Business Trip"
The people are amazing some of them. And the rooms was clean, tv wasn't fully loud it only went up at 50 but over all good environment nice owner let me use to barbeque I would come back here anytime .
"Disappointing"
We stay at Best Western brands 25 - 60 nights a year. About 125-150 hotel nights most years. BW Diamond as well as lifetime top level in other brands. We recently stayed at this Best Western twice. The first stay (6/11/20) we were disappointed due to the room having only sheer curtains (no black-out curtain) and the AC would not turn off. We were moved to another room and it was better, everything worked, and we had to do some cleaning to make the room acceptable. On June 26 we stayed again thinking it was just a bad day last time. This room was worse. Hair on the floor (not just a little), we used paper towels and rags to clean the bathroom floor (photos). Tub with rust (photo). Dirty bath towel (photo). Dirty bath towel (photo). Dirty bath matt (photo). Bathroom towels poorly placed/folded (photo). One of the towels from Willis-Knighton Health System (photo). Belt left by previous guest left in bathroom-left it again (photo). Poorly made beds. Pulled back cover and it looked unmade (photo). Only one small trash can for room (photo). The freezer needs defrosting (photo). Furniture side next to desk dirty (photo) Dirty wall was same last stay-different room toothpaste-like stuff last time. TV streaked from dirty rag. Desk chair adjusts up to normal height but collapses a few minutes later. Not likely that we will stay here again. We did let management know about the problems. Interestingly this is the first time I did not get a request for feedback after a stay at a Best Western.
"Horrible housekeeping"
I checked in and went to unwind after driving 2 hours. In pulling back the covers of the bed, there crawls a bed bug. When I contacted front desk, she offered no apology or remorse. I was switched to another room. That morning I was offered an apology where I was told that getting a hotel room was a hit and miss situation. I'm so dissatisfied and won't be back.
"DISGUSTING!!!"
Traveling with my husband and two small children all day and decided to stop here for the night. Walked into a room that wreaked of weed and stale beer. Bathroom had a used cup on the counter and some kind of splatter on the mirror. Bathtub had dirt all in the bottom of which we intentionally got a room with tub for my two year old to take a bath. And to top of off the bathroom door handle fell off when I walked in there!!! Walked into the bedroom area which had dirty carpets covered in hair, wrappers and COCKROACHES! Curtain had brown stains all over it. Mirror had a smudged handprint. Dresser doors didn't open but by the looks of the outside of the dresser covered in splatter we wouldn't have used it anyhow. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING especially since the room should be cleaned and sanitized even BETTER than normal due to this PANDEMIC. Checked out even faster than I checked in and when I was in line to check out another customer was calling the front desk wanting to switch rooms for the same reason. DO NOT GO HERE!! I never write reviews but I had to warn other travelers about how terrible this hotel really is!
"Diamond member for a reason"
As a Diamond member used my reward points for room for family travelling, as always the person helping the the voucher and reservations very helpful and friendly. My family was very impressed, could not stop raving how nice the room and staff was. My Brother and Sister in-law will now become members
"Best Western Monkhouse Rocks!"
I love this hotel, from the check in to the nice rooms, and the bathroom has a slight Hilton flair so that's always nice. Luxury at the right price. I've stayed here over 5 trips and they've continued to be an awesome location they haven't failed me yet.
"The worst experience ever"
The rooms were filthy! Hair all over floor and in bed. No towels clean. They kept saying they were being washed. Pool gross and hot tub cold. Fitness room out of order. Recieved a room that smelled like smoke then moved to a room that smelled old and musty. It was dirty and had no water pressure. Moved again to a room that was dirty. Makeup towel was full of makeup from a previous person. Black particles coming out of water during breakfast. Will never stay here again! The manager on duty was helpful but after she left her staff was not.

"Nice Hotel convenient location"
The front desk and staff were very helpful and made the stay very nice. My family had come in from out of town and we sat in the lobby and visited for a few hours which was very nice and quiet. The location was central to all of us which made it convenient.

The room was nice and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Nice breakfast with many choices. Tammy checked us in and she did a great job and each time we walked past she was busy working. She recommended a restaurant and that is where we went.

"So much potential..."
The hotel is beautiful. Not in a great part of town but we didn't feel unsafe. People were moderately friendly. But oh my it's dirty. The lobby floors are filthy. And not like "had a rush of people" filthy like been filthy for a very long time. This was not fresh filth. The rooms are equally as bad. Hair that wasn't ours, dirty feet after walking on carpet, brown smear stains on bathroom walls. Disgusting. Stayed as little time as we had to and left the next morning. Not eating breakfast because if they can't keep the visible parts clean I can only imagine the kitchen.

"CHETRIP"
Very friendly staff and helpful. Clean and quiet rooms. Dining area very clean and appealing, except sausage looked to done and wrinkled and the ham would have been better if sliced ham and not just diced. They were no grits. Also need to consider having sugar-free syrup and other diabetic friendly items and juices. Otherwise very, very good food.

Our stay at this hotel was great. This is a laid back property with all the nice amenities. Very clean, comfortable and nicely appointed rooms plus an excellent hot breakfast. Close and easy access to the interstate.
"A Rare FInd"
The hotel was a great find. It was very contemporary and updated. Everything was clean and fresh. The bed was fantastic. A real pillow top that was so comfortable. It made the stay. Breakfast was OK. The hot items were good but there was no breads/bagels available but there was a toaster. The oatmeal is instant and it would be nice if there was oatmeal already made with toppings. Overall, we enjoyed what we ate. We will definitely be staying at this property again

Nice hotel. More contemporary decor than others. Has an indoor pool. Beds are very comfortable. Property was clean. Has a good selection of breakfast items. Our only problem was the hotel has yet to adjust our bill to reflect the $70 gift card we presented at check in.
"BW Plus is seriously better than just BW"
Room was spacious - beds were comfy - breakfast was good (because you had bacon!!) - Internet worked fine. Would you could improve is with a nightlight in the bathroom, a not so bright alarmclock, more TV channels (or a Netfix button) and some really hard pillows. Also some healthy options for breakfast would be nice (maybe real eggs!!)

"Horrible Fluorescent Room Lighting"
Would be a good interstate hotel except for the inexplicable decision the owner made to put fluorescent color (4000k) light bulbs in the room. Super harsh lighting feels like an office or a hospital and is totally inappropriate for a hotel room (should be 2700k bulbs). Such a shame, will not be returning.

"Not what I expected"
The bed was comfortable. I specifically chose this hotel for my business trip because it had an indoor pool and Jacuzzi, but the element for the heater was broken. The room was large, but some of the tile was falling off of the wall near the bathroom, the drain stop on the sink was just laying there, my shower curtain was taken by someone the second day I was there and the breakfast was terrible on my first day due to lack of employees. The clerks were very confused on how to bill my company and not too hospitable towards me. All in all, I will take my business elsewhere before I come back to this hotel. Plus, the neighborhood is not very nice either. Better to stay safe.

"Heated pool not working"
The heater in the pool was out in the hotel. The tv was not working in the room. The staff were unresponsive about either problem. I was disappointed about that because I specifically chose this Best Western Plus for it's indoor pool. I wanted to relax this weekend in the pool and chilling in the room watching tv with my family.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and very clean. The hot breakfast was awesome and fresh. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was very clean and updated. Will definitely be staying there again.

I love the staff and the rooms. The 1st time we stayed with my family of 7 was great room big enough and very clean. I have since stay solo and each time I had a great stay. When in Shreveport this is the only place I will stay.

Love the value of each stay at BW. Then to get rewarded points for free stay is awesome. I always check to see if there is a BW when we go out of town for pleasure or business. They always have really nice rooms and a variety of items with their free breakfast.

could have better breakfast but other than that it was a great place to stay. room bathroom floor could have been cleaner. parking lot had suffient handicap parking. ladies behind desk very friendly. would stay there again.
"Excellent accommodations "
We checked in with no delay, no line, no hassle. The lobby was well lit and clean, top of the line. Urns of sweet/non iced tea were by the elevators, reminding me of the welcome any southern host would offer a guest. The elevator was large and had no trouble holding the luggage's trolley I found by the front door. Our room was comfortably cool already so we were able to enjoy the spacious room immediately. The king size bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The black out curtains assured us we would not be awakened by the sun. The room was so quiet. We heard no one all night long! About 8:30 am I heard a siren but nothing else until housekeeping knocked on our door at 10 a.m. Then I wished there had been a “Do Not Disturb” available to us. The buffet breakfast was fantastic with everything you could ask for. I can only say that our 2 nights here were wonderful and that we will be back. The refrigerator and microwave were great to have also.
"Excellent hotel"
Nice clean hotel with an excellent clean room. Hotel staff was great on check-in and check-out. Good selection of breakfast items. Great location less than a mile from airport. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
"Dirty rooms"
The food was fine actually good but the overall cleanliness of the buffet area was poor. The wall under the bar seating area was filthy and the men's restroom in the hotel lobby was so bad that my husband refused to use it and my nephew had to use the ladies room. There was hair in the shower of our room and the floor was dirty. I would not recommend this hotel.

"Clean hotel"
The hotel was clean and the beds were ok. When we got into our room the cable wasn't working. We called the front desk and they came right up and fixed it. We took the kids to swim and the pool was FREEZING and smelt like there was way to much chlorine in the pool. They had a lot of choices for breakfast and the food was average.
"Last minute stay"
Last minute stay room was impeccably clean and quiet. Didn't have time to try breakfast. Plenty parking. Shop onsite if you need any food or drinks last minute. Beds very comfortable. Shower lovely and toiletries provided.
"Stay away"
I would never ever recommend this hotel. We arrived at 3pm and was told our room wasn't ready yet. We went out for dinner and shopping and came back at 6pm. We were told our rooms were ready and given keys. Get to our rooms and the doors to the rooms were open. We entered and found only the beds were made. The bathrooms were not cleaned, the floors were not swept/washed, there were no towels. My husband went to ask what was going on and they never came back to clean the room. There was no manager on duty nor was there a manager on duty when we left. We had to go to the front desk to get towels and they were damp! After we checked out they offered us 20% off. This is not acceptable as our room was never cleaned before check in

"Good Hotel for the price!"
This hotel hasn't been opened that long and it is a really nice hotel but staying there over the pass 2/3 years that it's been open you can see where there needs to be some upkeep. Little things mean a lot to mean and cleanliness is the biggest, when staying in a hotel.
"An expensive dump!"
I used my credit card points for this hotel. It was 280 dollars worth of points. I expected a pretty nice room. Although it was decent.....that was about the extent of it. Front desk staff were extremely rude. Indoor pool had so much chlorine that, even though i didn't get in, my eyes were burning. I wouldn't have been happy if i had paid 100 dollars, let alone 280!

Wonderful and new hotel! All is clean and no problems. Staff cares and is ver friendly. Quiet rooms and nice, full breakfast with eggs, sausage and waffles! The only negative is the citrus shampoo which is not ok anywhere. Haha! Thank you for a great stay!

Great experience, customer service was awesome!! Location is right across the street from Brother's Seafood!! Awesome food!! We walked across the street and brought our food back to the room!! I will be staying there again soon!!
"Beautiful Property, Great Beds, and Amazing Breakfast"
We recently made a last minute trip and found this was one of the only with an indoor pool. That pool was beautiful and had a nice spa. There is also a huge restroom (beautiful) to get dressed in. The breakfast area is so modern clean and there was just so so much variety. They had chocolate chip waffles you could make, eggs, yogurt, hash browns, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, eggs, cereal, juice, tea, coffee, and on and on. Everything was perfectly cooked and kept warm. The rooms were great too super modern, clean and beds were very very comfortable. Everything is so close to this hotel. It is off a main highway you can take to the boardwalk (5 min away) restaurants or casinos. We will be back.
"Business trip in Shreveport"
I have used this hotel in the past , and have always been impressed with the overall experiance. The hotel is very nice, from the time you walk into the lobby, to the rooms. The decore is very sharp, and clean, and the rooms are clean, and well kept. I found the beds to be very comfortable, and slept well. They are convienantly located right of the interstate, and easy to get in and out of.
"AWFUL!! DO NOT STAY HERE!"
Worst hotel experience I've ever had. My reservation was some how messed up and my room was reserved for (and PAID for) the night before I was supposed to check in. So after driving all the way to Shreveport with 3 kids I found out that I not only didn't have a room, but that if I wanted one I was going to have to pay an additional $230 for one. After 45 minutes with customer service and no help from the employees who said I'd have to contact the general manager, I was finally able to get a room for a slightly discounted rate of $189.99 a night, which turned out to be $226 after taxes and fees. I specifically chose this hotel because of their indoor heated pool and hot tub. I asked when I was checking in "the pool and hot tub are working right" and I was told yes. Not true. The heater in both of them was out so the pool and the hot tub were both way too cold for me and the kids to get in. :( The room was DIRTY. Like stuff smeared on the walls and hair all over the floor and gunk caked on the outside of the trash cans dirty. Gross. There were no linens for the pull out. The front desk staff was not courteous at all. It was honestly the worst and most miserable hotel experience I've ever had and it was severely over priced for the quality and service! I ended up paying $300 for one night in an awful hotel. As a long term Hilton Honors member I'm disappointed in myself for not sticking with my trusty hotel brand, but I was tempted by the indoor heated pool because I knew that the kiddos would love it. I'll never stay at another Best Western!!!

I understand that when you made reservation online, it was made on the wrong date and as per the policies we had billed you for no-show but since you came in a day later we gave you half the credit. It is indeed frustrating when we make mistakes but i feel its unfair for you to make it seem like we forced you to stay. Also we do not advertise hot tub on our brand website as of right now as we just installed heaters to hot tub the day before you checked in. "Handy Hideaway"
Really good rooms and quiet, even though there were bus loads of kids staying there. Really good rate of $104.00 all taxes in for a single queen on a week night. Room was very clean with comfortable bed and pillows, not to firm, not too soft. Excellent work desk and chair. Breakfast was very good, staff were helpful without being outstanding. Parking was easy with good access if you're planning on a night to have a break while pulling a camper. Higher floors give you a bit of a view, but it isn't really a scenic spot.
"Foul smell"
The whole 2 nd floor and elevators smelled like marijuana. The hot tub was broke. Hair on our bathroom floor prior to us. Extra charges on my account that was suppose to be taken off and wasn't. That they already ran through my bank. Poor service unfriendly staff.

"Spoiled Rotten"
I strongly recommend this hotel. The decor was beautiful and up to date. They have a very friendly staff. The hotel was spotless from the kitchen/ dining area to your room. The amenities from the hot tub, pool, and fitness room were wonderful. The complimentary breakfast and coffee and tea showed great customer service. I was able to take advantage of the computer room with easy access. They thought of every thing. I just wish they had more clean towels in the rooms or accessible in the pool and hot tub area.
"Disappointed"
Check in clerk was not friendly at all. Got to room drain was full of old nasty looking hair and a big caramel spot in bathtub. Went down to get another room mgr wasn't available, told clerk she put us across the hall. This room had broken mirror..I got a piece of glass in my foot. Bathroom floor was filthy. At check out asked for manager but he wasn't there told this clerk of issues and showed her the photos. I was offered a 15 percent discount.... Would have fathered the clean great customer service I experienced on my prior stay.

"Terrible"
The hotel was very modern but the pool or jacuzzi tub was not working. Water was cold as ice. Also had to ask for towels for pool area. Room service was terrible. Housekeeping did not make beds or provide fresh towels. Went to front desk and clerk stated they did not have any towels. Next morning I ask again and still no towels. I've stayed at many hotel and have never witness housekeeping eating breakfast with guess. Instead they should have been working.

"The Perfect Stay"
My stay at the best western plus was perfect for the time being. The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. The price was very much reasonable. I would absolutely stay here again!!
"The room way not ready"
We were giving a room that was not clean, the carpet was not vacuumed, there was heavy debris on sinks, Tv counter, tables, and on window frame. No shower curtain, no sheets for the couch (until the next day which took 6hrs to receive) The front desk informed she was not done cleaning the room that's probably why it was dirty. I had unloaded all my stuff and came back late so I didn't want to have to bother anyone about moving. In the future I would suggest, please make sure your rooms are clean. Attend guests in a timely manner. I will also be contacting the franchise about other concerns. This place was terrible.

"Great rooms, noisy breakfast"
This was overall a great hotel. The rooms were clean, modern decor and spacious. The beds were firm and comfortable. The lobby area is comfortable. The breakfast area was spacious with the usual foods. The only issue were the chairs in the dining area. They made a high pitched noise when anyone sat it moved them. Sort of like scratching a chalk board. Most of the guests commented how irritating this was. The chairs have a mid century modern look with tapered metal legs. They look very nice. But without any rubber at the end of the legs they produced the noise against the nice marble tile. I am surprised the tile floors aren't scratched. It's not worth removing a whole star or point. Hopefully they will fix this issue. Overall, a great stay.
"Family wedding"
The facility was wonderfully clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a comfortable stay at the Best Western. The breakfast had a variety of choices from a hot bar to yogurts, cereals, sweet rolls and more choices. Very good!
"Dirty rooms and old breakfast"
When I checked in to room 419, the room was dirty. The attendant apologized and set New up in room 424. Housekeeping never came with fresh towels even after requested. Breakfast was poor out and then the attendant disappeared. No fresh food was put out. And when I extended the room for one night I was charged a different, higger rate the room. Overall, was completely over charged for the room and poor service. When I go back to that city I'll be sure to stay somewhere else.

"Nice lace bad water"
The place was nice but I was unhappy with the cleanliness and bad tasting water. The following morning, I talked to a number of guests who all were saying the water was putrid. I decided to tell the receptionist. Before I did, I used the general bathroom. It was messy and had no toilet paper. When I told the receptionist about the conditions, she showed little interest or concern. I told her about the bad water and her response was that she only drank bottled water therefore it wasn't a concern.

"Very convenient to I-20"
Clean. New. Staff with very positive attitude. The area was pretty quiet for the short time we were there. We like staying here when we travel i-20 from Texas to the East Coast. The quality of our breakfast was good.
"Nice, clean, comfortable hotel"
Dorrell, at the front desk, made a great first impression, taking the time to check me in to a room that met all my requirements. We had a large King suite (room 412) and it was very clean. The floors met the barefoot test. There was a very large TV (50/55 inch) and the chair and sofa were comfortable--supportive, not saggy. Bed was very comfortable! The bathroom had an exhaust fan. Breakfast was pretty much what you expect. Not super, but definitely good.
" Great Location "
A new hotel with all the expected amenities including free fast internet. A lot of cable channels. Clean rooms. Free breakfast and a mini-fridge in the room. It's only a half a mile from the airport and there are restaurants nearby.
"Water Clerk"
I stayed here for 5 nights and I thought that the staff that I interacted with were really nice people. I will definitely be staying there again. The hotel is clean and there is a store and a restaurant right across the street from it.

Staff will walk in on you while you are nude without knocking. They knew that I was in the room and made it they own business to come in. That has to speak volume because if they do that while you in the room, then more likely they do that while you are gone also.
"Excellent hotel"
This was a very nice clean hotel with a great staff. Bed was like a cloud! Pool was warm and hot tub was nice and hot, both were super clean! I took my kids here for a little end of summer trip. We may just make this a yearly thing.
"Price and location were perfect"
Stayed here while attending football game at Independence Stadium, which is a short distance. Price was $50 then the Roadway next door, so went with it. Hotel was clean, breakfast was good but service could have been better. All the maids did was refresh the towels and pull up the bedding. They left trash and discarded food sitting in the room. The "hot tub" water is cold but the pool is very warm. Would stay in this location again but might look somewher else if price is similar.
"Amoung the best stays."
Very pleased especially for the price. Two week trip and this was the best stay. Friendly check in and check out. Breakfast was good - typical of BW Plus. Room was very nice. The only possible minor negative is I think one of the bed side lights was burnt out - not sure if could have been only one bulb. Didn't stay long enough to even ask management. Is a bit of a drive to the casino's if your interested in gambling, but I think the drive is with the price and quality.

There is not much in the area recreational wise. However, this is my favorite Best Western I have ever stayed in. Nice, clean, and caring staff. I basically live in Best Westerns due to my job. This is the best one yet. The beds are my favorite.

I was here for a medical procedure the next day. I didn't feel good at all. But after sleeping on the wonderful bed, I felt much better. Very quiet, clean, nice place to stay for the money. I didn't like location but it was ok.

Loved everything about the hotel. Was very exclusive. Close to a lot of places to eat. Right next to family dollar. Very easy to find located right off from the interstate. Every since my first stay years ago, I fell in love. Guest W/D centers open 24hrs, Extremely quiet halls, no shenanigans, screaming kids nor roaming teens (during any of my stays. For me ive always caught the work travel crowd so everyone's extremely considerate- check in/call it a night. LOVE ??! Always awesome rates and discounts!
"Unimpressed "
You can tell they really tried with this hotel. It looks modern and it's new BUT there are some design flaws. For example, when you walk in the room it tile and the humidity is so bad inside that my husband slipped on the wet tile when we walked in. It felt nice in the room so we just put down a towel and dried the floor. The issue was even the blankets and sheets had a damp feel from the humidity. It was very cool in the room but the air conditioner just made everything damp. For the hotel to be new the towels are already hard and scratchy. The employees were not friendly at all and do not even say hello when people walk through the front door. I left a pair of my pants after we left, called to ask if I could come by to pick them up and the front desk told me nothing had been found. I was wearing these pants while there and I KNOW I left them. So apparently someone decided to keep them.
"Beautiful hotel."
Very attractive and clean. The beds are very comfortable and the room design is modern. Needed more towels to accommodate all of family and had to go downstairs to pick them up ( slightly inconvenient but understandable due to our late check in time) I would recommend this hotel.
"Terrible Customer Service!!!!!!"
As I entered the Hotel I was somewhat greeted by a lady who came from a back room area to greet me.I told her, I had a reservation for 3 .I was early and would like to ask her a question,. trying to possibly get my key before I return to my meetings.But I was told I was early, have a seat they would be with me shortly . I sat for 20 min.plus. I was already in a hurry and couldn't wait any longer .I ended up having to go back to the desk to wait again on someone else to notice me from the back. I was not able to check in early. I was not happy with this ,so I left . I would not recommend anyone trying to stay at Best Western Plus Airport Inn Shreveport ,La. .Terrible customer service.

I stayed at this hotel May18-20, only needed one night coming in for a funeral, they wouldn't extend a late check out or a half day rate....I needed it so took two night...on Saturday I left my room at 830a going to breakfast came back 1115a ...room wasn't cleaned got dressed to go to funeral. upon leaving the room housekeeping was in the hall so i asked to have my room cleaned asap wanted to return an take nap before driving back to Houston. She first told me she wasn't even assigned to that floor but had to clean the checked out rooms first....So I called to the front desk, ask hotel manager to make sure my room was cleaned and gave him my ETA...he promised it would done next this was 1230p...needless to say when I got back, later than was expected 440p the room was just cleaned. I went to the front desk and explained that I had no access to my room since 1200p and yet I paid a 160.00 to wait for someone to clean the room while they turned over checked out rooms for revenue. I went to the front desk and of course the manage wasn't there and the three ladies at the front desk could only empathize with what I was conveying. neither of them offered a solution or were empowered to offer any compensation or customer service. I left my information for the manage and as of today, May 25 he has yet to respond. I paid for an extra night and did not have access to my room, I left the hotel with the room cleaned, which they probably sold again...How do you think this should be rated? Certainly will not refer this property. I said I wasn't going to be nitpicky but the shower curtain (white) was dirty and the air didn't work properly...it was a newer, modern hotel...although on the Friday night the parking lot was filled because a bus, and two pick up trucks with campers/trailers I parked in the fire zone cause I had over heard that someone rob by a gunman delivering to the Dollar Store directly behind the hotel at 600p that evening.
"Not ecstatic"
Stayed before when it was new. Its still in good shape. As of 5/12 the pool and hot tub are NOT heated. For 100$ a night i and everybody else should be warned before hand. How about at checkin? When i make a reservation? Only reason this place was chosen.

"Weekend Stay for tournament with Family"
After spending the weekend here with my family, I give this property 3 stars. My room was a king suite on the second floor—room 212. Kids messed up my room as soon as we checked in so keep in mind the bed looked much nicer when we first entered the room when you look at the pictures. The bed was the best part of the stay. I wanted to pack it up and take it home. Pros: Comfy, clean bed Plenty pillows Free breakfast Refrigerator and microwAve Coffee station in room Coffee and drink station in lobby Clean bathroom Housekeeping was constantly checking to see if we needed anything. Friendly check in and staff. Their coffee tasted awesome! Cons: Room was dark. I think the lighting needs to be checked because the lamps by the bed were constantly flickering or not working. Lamps in sofa area were fine. Lamp by desk was very dim. Musky room with some water damage by window unit and ac. My mother's room was fine in this regard, but room 212 has a problem. Broken microwave in mother's room 210. The control panel was coming off when we opened the door. Management was alerted and they will fix the issue and they were thankful that we made them aware. Pool area has a very strong chlorine smell. Maybe the pool was just shocked? I am not sure. The hot tub was cold and the pool was warm????? Towels were scarce at pool and limited in room. Breakfast was ok. Not great, but standard free breakfast. Scrambled eggs, hash browns, link sausage, biscuits with gravy. Fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal and bagels/pastry available and a waffle maker to make waffles. Fresh juice , water, and tea/ coffee were available every morning. Overall pleasant stay, but in future I may not stay again because of room smell. I have an allergy to mold and mildew so I would only be able to stay a few nights before getting sick.
"EXCELLENT HOTEL"
This was a great place to stay since the hotel was fairly new and they offered comfortable beds in the rooms. I was on the 3rd floor and they did not have an ice machine since this is where the washers and dryers were located.
"Easy Access"
Clean, easy access from interstate. Helpful staff. Pool and hot tub on property. Fitness center limited but enough to get the blood flowing and cramps out from traveling. Breakfast included. Clean rooms.
"The worst customer service experience I have EVER encountered. "
We checked in at the hotel on Friday March 23 for two nights. We did our activities for the day and turned in shortly after 12am. Pulling back the sheets I discovered red stains that appeared to be blood stains on one and brown stains on the other. I took the sheets to the front desk. She wouldn't even touch them and put on gloves to take them. Imagine how I felt knowing my daughter had gotten in that bed before I found those stains. They'd run out of clean linen so I was given 2 sheets that she “found in back.” The fitted sheet didn't fit the bed so we slept with just the one sheet that night. Next day front desk told me the GM was aware of the issues, and our room would be thoroughly cleaned that day and sheets changed. We came back to the same sheets on the bed that we'd left that morning. Plus, no towels in the room. Had to go downstairs twice that night to get sheets and then towels. Was told we'd be taken care of the next morning at check out. At check out was told that the GM was not available but the person checking us out said she was an Assistant Manager. She agreed to give us credit for the first night's stay which I thought was fair. I asked for a receipt but she said she couldn't provide one due to the changes in the credit only showing on her detail screen but not on a printed receipt. She said I would see the credit on the final amount charged on my card. We loaded the car and then decided to go back inside to request at least something in writing showing we'd be credited the first night. The receipt we were given only showed the original charges. I called BW Rewards Customer Service and was told I'd get an emailed receipt showing the credit. It's 2 days later and I still don't have an email or receipt. I called the hotel this morning and the GM basically called me a liar. Said he found it hard to believe his staff told me they'd credit me a night. Said he won't give me the credit but would give me 20% off. Also,said that the stains were only on pillow cases and was likely makeup. I told him I'd post my review with pics to prove I'm not lying, and that 20% was unacceptable when I'd been told I'd get a credit for a full night. We went back and forth with him implying I was making this up. Then he just hung up on me before resolving the matter. I don't have to lie about my experience, and I'm glad my pictures show those are red and brown stained sheets! I have NEVER been treated this poorly. Regardless of whether he liked what I was saying, I wasn't yelling or using foul language. He just dismissed me as if my patronage means nothing. Take heed and beware of this location.
"Couple time"
Nice and clean rooms, breakfast was great and fulfilling. The pool area was clean and nice cozy. Workout room has a lot of equipment to work upper body and lower. The rooms are setup nice with great lighting.
"Comfortable hotel"
The hotel is close to the foot ball stadium. Very good experience. The only problems were the shower floor made a noise and I could here the interstate traffic. I suggest getting a room on the opposite side of the hotel. Although my husband did not hear the traffic. Great staff and very clean. The bed was comfortable.

"Unauthorized Entry"
Hi-I stayed at the Best Western Plus Airport Inn, Monkhouse Drive in Shreveport, LA a few months ago. The hotel was nice, but I had a horrible experience. I checked in on Friday alone, as my friend was to join me later. I made a few trips in and out of the hotel getting items from my car, so still it appears that I'm alone. My friend arrived later that night and we left for food, but the guy who checked me in was gone, so he never saw my friend. The next morning my friend left around 4:30 for a tournament, so I came down around 9 am to go do some shopping and that guy was back at the front desk. So again, he sees me alone. I did my shopping and made it back around 2 pm, again he sees me alone. I came back down and asked for extra towels and he told me to ask the housekeeper that was nearby. I went back up to my room and my friend made it around 5 pm. We decided to rest for a while before heading out for dinner. As we were resting in bed, I hear the door unlock, I immediately alerted my friend and he jumped up and asked what was going on. It was the Indian guy from the front desk. His voice shook with surprise as he saw my friend and he said room service-room service. My friend said no one ordered room service. He said, I bring sheets. My friend said again we didn't ask for anything. Now, you can think what you want, but I think he had other motives. What if my friend had not been there? What if I had been in the shower? Who knows what might have happened. I could have gone missing had I been alone. With so much sex trafficking going on, you just never know. PLEASE, IF YOU STAY THERE LOCK YOUR DOOR WITH THE EXTRA LOCK. We made the mistake of not doing that. Just a word of caution for women, especially young women.

We stayed here on our anniversary, had tickets for a concert at Horseshoe in Bossier City and weren't willing to pay over $300 for a room there. About 6 miles away from casinos, easily accessible and reasonable, new and clean. Would stay again

"This is a must stay hotel."
Brilliant Hotel. Looks and is awesome. The rooms are big, lobby and breakfast area are jawdropping. The staff are friendly and helpful and the roome clean and tidy. The bed, very comfortable. The only issue I had was road noise from the highway but it wasn't overly unbearable. Great place to stay overall. Kudos to the staff !!!

It was a great experience. The Front desk staff welcome does with great customer service and the smiles. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about anything that we asked them regarding the area and the hotel. They welcomed me to the rewards program signed me up and gave me a welcome bag. I will definitely stay at this facility again. The pool breakfast snack area Internet and room amenities were fantastic. It was definitely a great example of a best western hotel.
"Stay Away Vacation"
Check in was easy. The staff was very professional and heart warming. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. Loved the full mirror on the door. The shower was relaxing like home. The area was fine. No complaints here.

"Great Hotel"
This hotel is easy to find and located in a good area. It was very clean. It was a verycomfortable room. The maid brought me extra towels as soon as I asked for them. I will stay at this hotel again. We were visiting our daughter who is in med school and it was in a perfect location. The breakfast was very good too. Also, it has an indoor pool which was nice.

Smoke free room was really smoke free. The modern redesign is really well done Housekeeping was superb.. Lobby and breakfast attendants were pleasant and polite. Enjoyed my stay. Please consider making the entire hotel smoke free.

"Not your typical Best Western"
The Facility is new and the decor is nice and modern. Very Clean and the beds are too comfortable. I hate leaving when I visit. There are a lot of hotels in this area but I wouldn't stay at none of them. If this one is not available on my trips I will either stay at a relative house or make a turn around trip. To me is is nicer than some of the Casino hotels.
"Modern, clean and comfy"
Typical mid-size 4 story hotel, except that it felt quite new & clean as of this writing Oct. 17. Groovier than normal lobby decor, slightly hip. Bedding is good. That star are the staff, quite nice, sunny, relaxed. I know it's unheard of in these US plastic chains, but what happened to windows for fresh air, so the mechanical AC whirring recycled air is not part of the "restful" stay?
"Great stay"
Comfort of the hotel was great. Very clean and organized. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stay there again. Breakfast was great. Clean and organized. Patio area is very nice. Pool was clean and towels available.
"Freeway noise"
New hotel but obviously whomever designed and built it did not take the transmission of freeway noise into account. The side facing the freeway is subject to sound traveling from the freeway area and when I was moved to the 2nd room on the other side of the building it was not much better.
"Cold tub"
The pool/hot tub area is great. Until you step in it. Hot tub was cold and jets didn't work and the pool was even colder. Breakfast was so so. Room was good size and decent. Hotel seems to be fairly new. Dollar store right next door but not a lot of food choices within walking distance.
"A very pleasant stay"
We went to Shreveport to attend a hockey game. We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel! It was well maintained, the clerk, Teresa, was very personable and informative. The breakfast was hot and tasty. The location was easy to reach and gave us easy access to travel to the locations we wished to visit.
"Clean"
Room was clean and air conditioner works great. Bed was comfortable. One of the best breakfast I have had. Only problem was there was no bathroom linens when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again.
"You'll Enjoy It"
Having to change my lodging at the last minute, I picked Best Western. The décor in the lobby and the room are wonderful. Updated, modern, very contemporary. Beds were nice and firm. I have no complaints with this location. I'd stay there again.
"Most Awesome Best Western"
Very clean. Bed was perfect. Staff excellent. Free parking and hot breakfast. Will definitely stay here again. All rooms inside with elevator. Ice and vending on each floor. Tub and shower have instant hot water.
"Need better management"
Need to hire people that care about their job and not just getting a pay check. Below par attitude with the same clothing atire. Never see the staff and never greeted that way before if i had to stay there again it would only be for the price and breakfast.
"Beat Western Plus"
This hotel is very close to the Shreveport airport and I 20. It is newer hotel. The lobby, hallways, and rooms are super clean! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Breakfast consisted of pastries, toast, bagels, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, yogurt, cereals, fresh fruit, coffee, juices, ect.
"Ok"
The location was not good for what was charged. Preparedness of owner for certain needs was not helpful. Cleaning staff would wake you up because they were in a rush. The internet would boot you out at midnight and at noon. You were forced to resign in and lose items at times that you worked on.
"First Nights Stay with BW+"
Check in experience was great with a curtous and kind employee welcoming. Rooms were clean and cooled very quickly. Slept like a toddler after children running and screaming in the hallway settled down.

Found this gem at 9:00 pm after a long day of driving. Newer hotel, very comfortable room, friendly staff, reasonable rate. Hotel is on the west side of Shreveport and close to the airport.Highly recommend!
"Needs improvment"
Not a bad property but needs improvements. Chlorine was way too high in pool and spa. Spa jets were inoperative and water level too low. No towels in pool area. Desk chair in room felt like sitting on a box. Front desk understaffed for Friday and Saturday evening check-ins. Trouble logging on to internet, solved only after I had to call tech support.
"Management does not care."
We stayed at this hotel using points that we had earned. Since this is a BW plus we used 20,000 points for a single night. The management cashed in the points voucher and tried to charge us the standard rate when we arrived. The front desk clerk had a note from the manager saying that if we wanted to stay we would have to pay for the room a second time. This was very embarrassing to be told this as my family and I were standing in a full lobby. It took over an hour to get checked in. I requested management to call me and they still have not.

"Hotel snobb"
I enjoyed everything about the stay the hotel is really nice and still smells brand new the decorations was great. I will be returning for another visit. The proximity to Dallas is also an awesome location.

"BEST Western BEST in Louisiana"
Fantastic! Must stay if you are traveling trough and need a place to stay. FIVE STAR!!!! Everything about this hotel is a winner. Staff is helpful and friendly. Rooms are top-notch. Breakfast was wonderful. Our group loved everything!

"Best Ever!"
Very clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed, wonderful breakfast. Drove all day needed 2 rooms. All hotel were booked up it was late at night, at first no rooms then got a cancellation while we were still in parking lot. She came and got me and we were able to rest before heading on home. She went out of her way to help us. Very appreciative.

"Needs Work"
I would not normally comment but this was ridiculous. I had to stop and stay before continuing to drive to my destination. The room was nice when I entered. But had hair on the sheets. The vent cover was off in the bathroom. The air unit kept clicking so no sleep. The worst part was while getting ready- two people opened the door. The cleaning man and woman came in without knocking and no notification. It was strange. Nope I would not recommend this hotel.

"Great Location and Affordable --Family Reunion 2017"
We were able to have several meetings with our family reunion in the hotel and everyone was very pleased. My family loved their rooms, the lounge, the freshness of the hotel and the affordable price. We traveled from all over and they could not stop thanking us for picking this hotel Best Western Plus close to our mother's home and as they said what is it all about business what's the different location, location, location. "almost new hotel"
This hotel was 8 months old, and still felt clean and well maintained. The toilet in the first room had issues flushing, but the manager quickly moved us. She was very generous and considerate. The indoor pool was nice.
"Worst stay ever"
My experience was one of the worst experiences ever if not the worst. The cable didn't work. Breakfast was shutdown early. My room did not get serviced and the temperature in my room was never really where I wanted it to be.
"SERVICE DOGS ONLY! This hotel came up on a list of pet friendly hotels. It's not."
We wanted to stay here but could not because it is service dogs only. No other pets. Other BW's I've stayed in have allowed family dogs but this hotel does not. It is misleading if you see it on a search of dog friendly hotels. Hotel looked new and was in a good location. Front desk was friendly.

"Wonderful place to stay"
We stayed one night passing through Shreveport. We were so pleased to find this hotel. It was so conveniently located off I20, right on our route. The decor is beautiful and clean. We especially liked the breakfast area. This is a great place to stay. It will be our choice in Shreveport for now on.

"Would Stay Again"
Very nice hotel,staff was extremely friendly and accommodating!!! There was a nice breakfast every morning and the rooms were beautiful and modern and clean! My only issue was the bed was a bit too deep so it was difficult to sit on and I'm a tall person! I felt like I needed a stepping stool for this princess and the pea bed!! (But once I was in it the sleep was amazing)

"Terrible service, Inexpensive"
The price ($90 USD) was excellent. Front desk check-in was not. We had the impression our arrival was an inconvenience and we were a nuisance. We would have walked out and stayed elsewhere but were too tired Pool was nice. Hot tub was lukewarm and jets did not work. Internet good in room.

Good location, clean, comfortable and good service the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Property safe and quiet good patio area, pool and work out area. Parking lot well lit and safe. Conveinent entry and exit points around the property
"Clean & easy access from the Freeway. "
Very easy access on & off interstate 20. We arrived to a friendly smile and got our room immediately. Very clean and nicely apportioned, this is a good choice for a nice room. Free wifi, lots of tv channels to choose from makes it an easy stay for our evening here.
"New and Clean Hotel"
This hotel is fairly new. The decor is really nice and modern in the front desk breakfast area and the rooms. Hotel staff was very friendly especially the breakfast crew. The beds were comfortable. We asked for a later check out but they only allowed until 12, but that's understandable.

"First poor BW experience"
This hotel is only seven months old so maybe the staff is still getting trained. My check-in experience was the worst ever. I finally got the reservation made over the phone. The manager stepped in to help with my reservation and did a great job. This is a new BW and I was taken back by the trash, cigarette butts, and overflowing trash can at the entrance. With all that said I would stay here again. I just never had a bad experience before at BW's and was caught off guard.

"Really nice, new hotel"
I picked this hotel as the last stop on our way home. It was a good decision. The hotel is just off I-20 but is very quiet. Entrance into the lobby is awesome. The hotel is fairly new and very modern. Check in was very fast since I had a reservation. The breakfast area is just off the lobby and can accommodate several people as we found the next morning at breakfast. Breakfast was very good and the people handling the breakfast area were very efficient and pleasant. There was an airshow going on in Shreveport and the hotel was busy. Our room on the third floor was well appointed. The bed was better than good. The room was clean and the towels were nice. The water pressure in the shower could have been better but again, the hotel was busy. The price/value was very good for this hotel. I join the hotel club websites and Best Western has been one of my top choices. This one was a good choice. There is a Family Dollar store next to the hotel. Restaurants nearby require getting back on the freeway. Check out was fast and access to the freeway easy.
"Two night stay"
First off, the Hotel looks great!! The entry, pool area, and rooms are nice! My room was not cleaned ever!!! Pissed me off.. asked for some extra towels and they had no more hand towels and I had to pick them up... she literally said, "they will be waiting at the front desk for you"!!! WHAT???? Smh I was in room 405!! That same lady was at the front desk with red head phones on!!! Totally unprofessional!!! The morning breakfast was o.k!! This hotel looks nice but they need Major work, when it comes to Customer Service!!!!

"Cross-country roadtrip"
Shansi greeted us with a smile upon check-in and helped us narrow down a place for dinner. Vee was hospitable & patient at Breakfast. We were one of the last families to eat, but we never felt rushed. Theresa checked us out with a friendly farewell! We love the spacious, clean room. The bed was a bit too hard for me, but that's a matter of preference, because my husband was just fine with the bed... I guess you'd have to offer a 'Sleep Number' to satisfy everyone (lol). Overall it was a good night sleep. The lobby & breakfast area were nicely decorated and the breakfast bar was really inviting. It has seating for everyone. The OJ was a bit too watered and it would've been nice to offer boiled eggs since they don't cook fresh eggs... I'm not a fan of powdered eggs. The fitness room was a plus and the kids love having an indoor pool to enjoy in any season. We will definitely consider staying here next time.
"Nice place"
Stayed one night while traveling, this place was clean and staff was friendly. Only problem was the shower was extremely slippery in room 117 so I told the staff upon check out. Woman stated she would address the problem

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Very easy to get to as well. A friendly staff with a very comfortable room. Plus a super clean room. Breakfast was delicious and free! I will always chose Best Westerns as I travel around the country.

Bad day in Shreveport I try to support a new hotel in Shreveport,La.I was given the wrong room,twice...The staff Is not friendly nor dressed professional.My room was not clean and the manger never call about the incident.
"Terrible."
Nice new hotel lobby. But when we checked in and made it to our room we realized the TV was completely shattered. We asked for a different room because we didn't want to be blamed or charged for the broken TV. plus we were expecting a working TV. They didn't want to give us a new room. Finally after complaining and waiting for over an hour or 2, they offered us a different room that they claimed the hot water in the sink didn't work. We agreed to take that room. We went out that night, came back and slept then the next morning realized the entire restroom was flooded. They offered us a discounted rate but I never received it. I was charged the full price. Everything was an inconvenience from the time I got there until the time I left. Also there wasn't anyone at the front desk for half the time so it was hard to get any help from anyone. Won't be staying again.
"Nice new facility"
Stayed one night and got a very good rate by making reservation by phone direct with the hotel. This is a new facility and is very close to the airport. Morning breakfast was better than some places we have stayed.

I was very pleased with the price for this hotel. It's only about 6 months old and everything still looks and feels brand new. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms were very pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will stay here again when I come to Shreveport.

Every morning mrs.vee has an incredible breakfast laid out for the guest basically the best breakfast you can find in a hotel absolutely great. Will definitely be staying here every time I come to Shreveport.

Stayed for a night . The hotel is new and clean. Complimentary breakfast is provided which is decent. Front desk are helpful. Kitchen staff are nice and helpful. No problems encountered during stay. Will recommend!
"Stay often"
Always easy check in and check out and always clean and helpful. Breakfast is great as always as well as the staff. Pool and lounge area are great at this hotel. Only thing I had a problem with was the wifi. Not very fast for some reason.
"Delightful Breakfast Bar!"
Stopped for the night on my Golfing Across the USA journey. The hotel is new, clean and comfortable. What impressed me the most was the personal service I received from Vee Patel in the morning at the breakfast bar! She was very helpful, attentive to my needs and she kept the breakfast bar immaculate! I would stay here again!
"New and welcoming"
We stopped for the night on our way home. Hotel is beautiful and new. Staff was very welcoming. Beds comfortable. We will be back. Also found a great Cajun restaurant just down the street called Crescent City Grill (see review in restaurant section).
"Great"
Hotel is new, which is awesome. There were a few kinks that are almost worked out. The pool is heated which is nice. The gym is better than most. With the main 3 cardio machines, a weight with pulley, and free weights. The breakfast is the usual selection, but prepared to a higher standard. V does an excellent job and actually cares about breakfast. Above all though the staff is superb. They're prompt, kind, friendly, and always willing to chat and exchange pleasantries. We work out of town in Shreveport and won't go anywhere else. Mary, Theresa, and the rest of the staff are top notch.
"Great indoor pool and hot tub"
I stayed here for a class that I was teaching for work. I chose this hotel for several factors, the free breakfast, indoor pool, hot tub, free Wi-Fi, and free parking. I had breakfast every day, and it was about the usual breakfast items such as scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, muffins, etc. There was an indoor heated pool, which I did use several times during my stay. The shower had a nice temperature and water pressure, but the tub was really slippery. I told the front desk attendant that they needed to buy the tub mats to prevent falls. Clean hotel, good price, good amenities. The hotel was quiet, but you could hear the traffic on the highway. But I didn't hear any noise coming from other rooms, so that was a huge plus.
"New and very nice"
We came out here to see a sporting event nearby and were fortunate to book a room at this hotel. It was easy to find off the highway and from the start we were impressed. The place is brand new, looks as if it opened yesterday. The hotel is clean as can be with a nice modern style. Staff was very friendly and helpful and made the check in process as easy as can be. Our room is very nice, as modern as the rest of the place and we really enjoyed it. Price was good and would definitely book here again.
