. Despite booking a room with two single beds, we were given a different setup on arrival. We were later told that housekeeping is not available 24 hours a day — however, this is not the guest's responsibility. If a specific room configuration is confirmed, it should be prepared before arrival. Additionally, access to the spa was not included, which was not clearly communicated during the booking process. This was quite misleading and affected the overall experience. Overall, the service did not meet expectations, and the lack of flexibility or accountability from the staff made the situation even more frustrating. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

We stayed two nights at Horizon Wellness & Spa Resort in Varese in mid-February. The wellness facilities were a highlight, with access available until 11 PM, and the free parking was convenient. The lake view was beautiful, and the breakfast offered a good variety of options. The staff was friendly. Upon arrival, we noticed a leak in the sink in our room, but we didn't report it as we are easy-going and don't spend much time in the room. On the other hand, the noise levels were quite disturbing for a 4-star hotel that appears to be new or recently renovated. The poor soundproofing meant we could hear everything from the corridor and neighboring rooms, which was disruptive, especially considering the hotel's quality. Moreover, on our first night, there was a disturbance in the neighboring room involving a loud “romantic” argument that escalated to police intervention (probably later than we would have hoped). Unfortunately, no one from the hotel addressed the situation afterward. Additionally, when we returned on our last day after cycling, we asked if we could use the spa, as there was no additional cost for the hotel. However, the receptionist declined our request, which was disappointing, especially given the circumstances (and our intention to dine at the hotel, which would have generated additional revenue for them). Overall, the hotel offers good amenities, but the noise was really disruptive, and the lack of flexibility with spa access was frustrating. I would rate this stay a 3 out of 5.

Overall, the experience was average. Positive: Room and hotel halls were clean, SPA was as expected. The view from our room terrace was great. The staff was polite and helpful. The parking garage was covered and had a designated marked spot for each room. Parking price was included in room price. Our room was on top floor (Be aware that for rooms on bottom floor, the parking is in front of the terrace door). Negative: The room was basic with very uncomfortable bed and pillows which affected our sleep and rest. Breakfast was disappointing for an Italian 4 star hotel and was at best 3 star hotel level. It was not diversified and was identical every morning during our nine day stay.

Best rooms, well apportioned bathrooms, good breakfast, great coffee and very friendly staff. We stayed there as a final stop off of a tour around Lake Majjori. Not much more than a place to lay our heads but it's a hotel I would definitely stay at again

We came here for 1 night. A group of 8 friends. We arrived late at night and the the check in was quick. It has a Great meat restaurant just there with good food and atmosfire. The room was cleane and you can park your car near your room. We had the possibility to add Breakfast and pay 10 ero more. We preferred to eat outside. They have a beautiful spa. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to enjoy it.

Good: friendly staff, nicely furnished rooms. Generally modern furnished house. What a beautiful room, modern, clean and spacious with parking right outside, we were delighted. The young staff at the hotel were enthusiastic and helpful, we hope they are valued for the asset they are. We would definitely stay here again in preference to our previous stops on Lake Como, the area is smart, the lake beautiful, parking is no problem with the added benefit of a spa and wellness centre after a long drive. This hotel was quite a find.

Stayed here twice in the last 4 weeks. The hotel is actually a mix between a motel and a hotel, which I find quite cool. It has something of an American style in Italy. You can park your car right in front of your room, as is typical for a motel. For me personally, that's nothing, because everyone can see into their room when you walk from the car park into the hotel. So I take a room on the first floor, because these rooms all look out onto the beautiful lake. They all have a nice terrace, the rooms are decorated in a kind of shabby-chic-country-style cross-over, which I personally like very much. Breakfast + restaurant I can't judge, but will probably be good. You can sleep with the windows open without any problems because it is quiet. My new favourite hotel in Varese.

We are here for a few days of chillaxing. Check in was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are cozy in modern look and feel, with parking very privately in front of the room. We tried a lot of the offers: breakfast was OK, with super helpful and friendly staff. Of course, you can't expect the same quality of the night time restaurant for the breakfast, can you? The fruit was on the unripe side of things, and the cheese very young and not as tasty as Italy had to offer. Egg was unsalted. Espresso was great. Dinnertime in the Mirror restaurant was nice. Again, super friendly staff. Food and wine selection is limited, but good. Creative menu choices for dessert - albeit the choice for vegans or people with allergies are really limited. Definitely room for new ideas in a spa hotel! The spa itself was good. Due to the pandemic there was a requirement for reserved times in sauna and türkish stream bath -- but not all guests respected that, unfortunately. During the afternoon it was quiet enough to have a relaxing visit.

We really enjoyed the spa, the indoor pool and the outdoor pool. A relaxing atmosphere perfect for families. I particularly enjoyed the lovely massage and I can definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to lavish in self care !

Breakfast with great Selection. Restaurant with Perfect Food, rooms with air condition, flat Tv and very Good bathroom. Staffs very nice and friendly. Pool Area is great, spa area perfect. Thanks for a nice and perfect stay.

Let's start by the warm welcome from the reception and the Aura the place brings to you , once you get to the room (stay in a collection room) which has an amazing view of the lake and start your adventure at this beautiful hotel, breakfast was amazing a buffet offer that will leave you full for the entire day , in the case you want to remain on your room you can ask for your breakfast to be brought at your door, lunch and dinner a la carte next you have the outside pool which is a good way to relax your body and mind from all the stress of everyday life , regarding price and quality is fair, I had my lovely stay with my wife and my 5 month old son. So if you want to relax and enjoy yourself this your hotel

The restaurant is cheap and with good quality food. However, charging 20 Euros per day for just the outside pool is extremely expensive, considering that the pool itself is not that big either. Almost every other hotel in the zone offers free pool.
