Best Western North Roanoke

Great hotel and very clean! I would recommend this hotel to any family traveling. The clerk was nice and the room was clean and cozy! Not sure why I have to leave 200 characters that is a bit annoying but the hotel was good that is all I have to say !!!

Latricia at the front desk was incredibly patient informant and helpful,we were at a total of four couples and we all enjoyed our stay very much,the breakfast was a nice bonus as well will recommend for future stays and stops for a pit stop on the road.

Clean and staff is very friendly. The bed is like sleeping on a rock. The mattress need to be replaced. The free breakfast was very good and the area was clean. There is a nice cafe in the parking lot. We were there for 2 nights. I could not have stayed a 3rd night because of the uncomfortable bed.

Quick stop right off 81. Quiet, clean, breakfast starts at 6am for early risers and the staff was super helpful. I was driving from The Blue Ridge in Georgia to NJ and this was half way point. Pizza place across the street was great for a hot dinner.

We stayed at the North Roanoke location for one night during or recent return trip home. Front desk staff were friendly and accommodating and although the hotel has only 2 floors, it was a very nice convenience to have an elevator since we don't travel "light". Our room was clean and comfortable.

With two pets. Nice rooms and beds. Room right by the door to get outside for dogs. Tv didnt work but wifi was great. Breakfast looked fantastic. Love the tea assortment , e/v charging station and diner next door. Friendly. Hostess, clean rooms.

it was a nice hotel and they had a nice work out room. I had a good breakfast. It was nice to have a hot breakfast. The people that worked there were really nice.

This is a renovated older facility and is always clean and well functioning. It is in a very convenient location, right off the interstate with several places to get some good food or fast food if that is your slant. This facility has electric charging stations if you require that. This is a very well visited facility so be aware that parking can fill up if you check in later in the evening

after checking in, looking around, found the room clean. then walked to the local restaurant for a nice meal. just what we needed after a long day of travel.

I am never disappointed when I stay at this hotel. It is always clean, and the staff is friendly and professional.

My three-day stay for vacation was comfortable, particularly the breakfasts here which included actual home fried potatoes (with onions and peppers), rare in motel breakfasts. (There is also a very nice diner next door, and other food nearby.) This is a cost-effective motel, not luxurious, with little traffic noise at night. Very friendly desk staff. I will stay there again when vacationing again in the Roanoke area.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. It was a great value for the price we paid. They had a really good breakfast. They had cinnamon and plain waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage links and patties and southwest potatoes.

I have stayed here probably 10 times during my travels on I 81. This is always extremely clean and everything works well. All the staff have been quite pleasant. Anticipate staying there several more times in 2024.

Arrived at 1:30 AM after at Virginia Tech football game. Staff gave wife and I a room key to an occupied room (people sleeping in both beds). No compensation. Had to share 1 room with nephew & his dad

Make sure if you are traveling with a pet(s) that you triple check the cost. I was told $20 a day 2 hours before check-in when I checked in was told $40 a day when I said I was told $20 she said oh sorry it changed a few weeks ago not sure who told you that do you still want the room? It was already a long day so paid the $40 . When I brought up with girl at checkout she says oh that should of been per pet! The room was clean & comfortable and breakfast was good.

I would recommend this motel to my friends and family. The rooms were very clean, no nasty smells and friendly helpful staff. Lots of room for our two suitcases. The bathroom was very clean without any stains or cracks. This is a great place.

Nice Hotel at Reasonable Price. Enjoyed the staff. They were very courteous and attentive. Hotel is mostly clean and taken care of. I would recommend staying here. If you are looking for good value this is the place to stay.

Stayed one night while traveling and was easy and quick... room was clean, people were nice... and all was affordable for a senior traveling solo. would definately recommend to everyone as most B&W hotels are usually very affordable!

We had two rooms for a single night and found the hotel to be very clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent and truly cared about their guests. Breakfast was pleasant and was a great way to start the day.

The rooms are clean. The staff is very helpful with advice on where to eat. The desk staff also helped with directions to Walmart. The breakfast is good for a hotel. Easy access to the hotel off of 81. The diner next door serves good food. Rates are very reasonable.

The location is great--directly off the highway, and 2-3 minutes from whatever you need. Several convenience stores/gas stations right beside the hotel, as well as a Valvoline oil change/service station. A diner is just across the well-lit parking lot. The breakfast was good and the staff is nice. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The only negatives were the bathroom fan was extremely whiney/loud, the water was lukewarm, and the fitness center isn't 24/7.

If you have to book this location or cancel do so via corporate because the people working at this location don't know what they are doing. I am still waiting for a charge to be removed for a reservation I cancelled well in advance.

We stayed for one night and were traveling with your dog. The hotel was very comfortable and all in our room was in good repair and clean. The beds are comfortable, which is nice when you are "on the road". Breakfast is good with a fair selection, though not a large buffet. The staff are very friendly and helpful and seem to enjoy working there - which is so refreshing! The hot water is not super hot - but we like our showers very hot at home.

An excellent stop on your long trip.Right off the interstate (exit 150 on I81) Clean bedding, rooms and overall throughout the property. Very nice breakfast is served but if you wish to have breakfast out, there is a great place right next door. Another up the road too. Dinner at both these places are also available. It's a great spot if you are just looking for a clean, comfortable, safe and secure hotel for the night. Many people stay here for functions at the 2 universities 30+ miles up the mountain in Radford and Blacksburg so reservations are highly recommended. I am local to this area and a long time frequenter of BW and this property gets high marks from me.

After spending the previous night at an awful hotel, and having had a less than satisfactory experience at another Best Western location several months ago, my expectations were really low when I checked in. Fortunately, I was in for quite a surprise. What this hotel lacks in scenic views is more than compensated for once you step inside: a friendly, gracious staff; an interior ambiance that speaks of diligent maintenance, cleanliness, and tastefulness; and a spacious room with amenities that work every bit as intended. Modest as it is, I got the sense that management and staff are dedicated to providing every guest with a comfortable, restful, rejuvenating and problem-free stay. For a relatively low-budget establishment, that is truly extraordinary.

Otherwise, great motel. But it stinks that the shower is barely warm when turned to hot. After a day of motorcycle riding, I just wanted a hot shower and that was not possible.The room was clean and neat and all of the staff were awesome.

My son and I stayed at the Best Western in Troutville, Virginia on a cross country trip. We had his dog with us. The Best Western is dog friendly, and the Pet Fee is very reasonable. The hotel has made an attempt to update the furnishings. The bedroom area was comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was small, but functional. The breakfast choices were fairly good. Even though the hotel is smaller than some others we've stayed at, there were plenty of food choices. There's also a lot of restaurants in the area. There is a diner next door and we found a wonderful drive-through restaurant that offered over 36 different milk shake choices about 15 mins away!

Room had stale,musty smell. Desk gave us deodorizer. Woke up with a stuffed head. Contacted GM Oniris Cabrera and she would not compensate me anything. Stayed Sunday @ 69.84 room was fine. Booked following Mon. @ 116.78. expecting the same condition. TERRIBLE customer service. Would never stay there again. Would think twice about staying in any Best Western if that is how they treat their customers.

Our room was clean, comfortable beds, quiet and well stocked with towels. The motel has easy access from the interstate. We found the desk staff very helpful with food suggestions. A very nice small restaurant is within walking distance from the motel.

The front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful but the property could use an update and a bit better cleaning. They should definitely invest in better pillows and bigger towels. The shower water temperature didn't get as hot as we would have liked and the pressure was painful. But, they had EV chargers and a nice yard area for pets.

I was impressed every step of the way. I got in late after a long day of driving and the woman at the desk was still friendly, welcoming, and conversational. They had left out the tea at the breakfast bar so I was able to get a cup of tea when I went up to my room which was wonderful. The bed was comfortable, beautifully made, soft sheets, only nice white blankets (no stuffy floral duvets here). There was a tv, microwave, and small refrigerator. What more could you want.

Going to a football game at Virginia Tech but difficult to find rooms in Blacksburg area (and too expensive even if you find one). This place is about 45 minutes north but not a bad drive (and makes it 45 minutes closer to home when we leave!). Very convenient to I81, clean and well appointed rooms, friendly staff, free breakfast, and a decent restaurant across the parking lot.

This is the first time we stayed in a room with a pet. The room was very nice. The bathroom was clean. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The main problem was getting keys that worked. The first set of two room keys did not work. One of the two next keys worked.The replacement key for the non-working key worked once. So we made do with one key. When loading the car to leave, the last key would not let hubby back in so he had to walk around the building to the front lobby. The only other complaint was the breakfast was not fit to eat. Luckily, McDonald's is very close by.

This newer property offered an excellent place for our overnight visit. One thing to keep in mind is that their breakfast room closes at 9 AM every morning....no sleeping late if you're staying on the weekend! Diner next door offers decent fare, and the closest gas station also had the lowest gas price in the area. All in all, a good place to stay.

I was travelling from SC to D.C., and needed to stay a night on my way. This one was in a perfect location: close to the exit of I-77 and restaurants within a walking distance, the staff are friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. The only flaw (for me) is the taste of the carpet in the guest room.

Our family of 6 stayed here in two rooms on our way to Nashville. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were super clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hot breakfast was delicious. They offer cold and hot drinks 24 hours a day as well. We were very happy that we had chosen the North Roanoke Best Western for our stay. Do become a Best Western member so that you can earn points toward discounted rooms. They are reliably good, clean hotels.

I spent one night in this hotel on May 11, 2022. My room reeked of urine! The scent was coming from the bathroom. I had to sleep with the fan running all night. The smell was literally burning my nose. I didn't ask to change rooms because I am a female, was traveling alone, and had already brought all of my belongings into my room. I also didn't feel safe at this location. Someone or more than one person kept propping open a side door with a rock- you were supposed to use your room key to go in and out of the side doors. I felt very unsafe here. One of my pillowcases was stained. The overall impression was that this hotel needs a remodel. I would not recommend this hotel. I told the girl at the desk the next morning and she said she would tell management but I don't know.

Stayed in suite 302. It was very clean. But, lots of issues with the toilet flushing. All of the entrances had broken key card boxes. So, it was very difficult for handicapped folks to use the front entrance each time and drag everything back down the entire length of the hotel to reach the elevator. Staff are nice, but they said the maintenance man called off and couldn't get the entrances fixed. I was there 4 days and 3 nights and the hotel was full. Do better and maybe get an emergency maintenance guy!

The family and I stayed in two rooms for the night and found this best Western to be extremely clean and friendly place to stay while traveling. Highly recommend. The breakfast in the morning was above average and had a very nice variety. The pool was closed for the season so we did not get to use it. And the young lady that greeted us at the front counter was extremely friendly

when we travel, we always try to locate a Best Western, the rooms are always clean, Thay are pleasant during check in and helpful. I recommend Best Western best bang for the buck. only complaint I wish they would get better coffee for the morning, so we don't have to go looking for coffee when we leave.

Was on a bus tour that included elderly people. The bus had to park in the lot next door. It was full of uneven pieces. They had to carry their luggage to the hotel. One elderly man fell. Not ADA friendly. Shame on you!!

I stayed three weeks. The GM Ricky - his staff Pam, Warren, Sara and the entire house keeping staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Nice clean rooms. Above average breakfast and the fitness center seems brand new.

The room was clean and the staff was okay, not friendly and smiling, but not rude. The only issue I had this time was no soap in my room. I didn't notice until I was getting in the shower, so I used shampoo. In these covid times not having a single bar of soap in the room is concerning.

First time staying in a hotel with our animals...We have cats, they LOVED the room.. Many rooms had dogs, only an occasional woof was heard... Room was immaculate, and clean and fresh smelling..It was the 1st time in 2 days the cats felt calm enough to eat... Angels diner is righ across the parking lot for a quick bite or to go food..

1st time with our new pup! They have a wonderful place/ area for exercise etc. outside. Room clean with no odor from previous doggies! Breakfast had many choices from fresh fruit, waffles, bagels, cereal, juices, coffee, cappacinos. Hot eggs,sausage,homefries. Also round sausage and eggs to make your breakfast sandwiches.

Comfortable and convenient overnight stay when traveling. Room was clean, but no king beds were available. Pam at check in was very pleasant and helpful in assisting us to use our Best Western promotional gift cards. Complimentary hot breakfast provided.

Mr Craven at the front desk was very professional and well dressed. While I was in the lobby he greeted each and every guest that entered with a smile and a promise to be with them as soon as possible. It's because of him that I give the 5 rating. However, I can't go without saying that while there another man came behind the front desk and was dressed very unprofessional. He had on what looked like pajama pants and an ill fitting t-shirt. He basically looked like a slob! I came to find out that he was a manager of yours if some sort. U must say that this is a poor representation for your company! The lobby is beautiful and clean and to have someone looking like this sitting behind the desk was not a good site. I actually said to my friend that he looked like he hadn't showered! Mr Craven was busy and he offered no help. My opinion would be have him clean up his act or replace him with someone as professional as Mr. Craven.

Due to recent negative reviews I was hesitant about this hotel. It turned out to be among the best Best Western hotels that we have stayed in. Excellent lightning, clean rooms, comfortable, very close to I-81 and to several restaurants, easy parking, good breakfast options, ample vanity space in the bathroom, quiet fridge. Actually, this Best Western hotel is better than several "Best Western Plus" hotels that we have recently stayed at.

This hotel has obviously been renovated recently. Everything is clean and in good condition. There was a surprisingly good selection for breakfast. Beds are comfortable. My room had a large flat screen TV, microwave, and refrigerator. WiFi worked well.

Great service , nice room . Quick access to everything. The staff was great . No issues. Room was nice . Lots of things to like . Access to everything including interstate was top notch . Will stay again .

The hotel was very very clean. Shout out to the cleaning staff. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable. Access to restaurants was easy and near to the hotel. Access on and off interstate is very easy. Great place to stay.

This hotel was clean and quiet. Good mattresses & pillows. Free EV charging. Standard hotel breakfast. Room was well cleaned. There's a cafe next door but we elected to go to our favorite: Three Little Pigs (BBQ) is just a 1/2 mile away. Always good!

This hotel met our expectation. It was clean, affordable and had a friendly and helpful staff. Next door is a diner which was good since we were tired. It's mediocre but worked for us. The gentleman at check-in was very knowledgeable.

Stayed here for the tesla charger, which worked great. Free breakfast and they keep their drink machines on 24/7, which was nice. The tesla chargers are marked for electric cars only, which is another nice addition. Rooms were fine, nothing fancy.

This was my first time at this Best Western. I was passing through and only staying the night. I think the front desk worker is racist towards Asians because as soon as I walked in he was rude to me (he is a black man). I am a platinum member and stay at best westerns often and always have good experiences so I know what to expect. He just gave me my invoice to sign and didn't explain ANYTHING - breakfast, amenities, rewards offer for platinum members etc. I also had a tax exempt card and he refused to help and kept telling me he can't do anything and to wait for a manager(who wasn't there and did not show up to work on time) I had to keep checking the lobby and still no sign of them. It was near 10pm and I was told the manager would be here overnight until 7am (so I was expected to go see them in the middle of the night or too bad??) I even offered to have him photocopy my card and leave a note but he refused. I am writing this review before I check out. The hotel is clean and decent for the price but I will NOT be staying here again.

This is a perfectly reasonable choice for motorists passing through on their way to somewhere else. The rooms are comfortably furnished and clean. The only strange point was the king bed only had two small pillows. Typically, you have a few pillows to choose from. The breakfast, like all COVID breakfasts, was pretty mediocre. Sausage and egg biscuits to heat up in the microwave and some so-so fruit. Despite that, it covers the most important elements of an interstate hotel, which is clean and comfortable. Recommended for a night.

This was a one night stay. The hotel is very nice, you can tell that the owner has very high standards. The room and service was as good as I have seen. The only drawback was the lack of eating places, but on the good side is the diner in the next parking lot had very good food.

Truly a dog friendly hotel. Wasn't a zero charge but only charged me $25 for my entire four day stay rather than the $25 per night normal in the best western system which is extortion. Out of all the hotels at this highway exit which is heavy with truck traffic this one is away from most of the noise and chaos and it's right next to a really tasty diner with great service where they offer a 10% discount for hotel people. Nice staff, clean rooms and well-kept. A few minor glitches but overall a really nice experience!

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this Best Western location and just kethe last time.....it was clean, everyone was friendly / helpful and it went easily. The only thing I didn't like is that they wouldn't match Trip Advisor or anyone on the price. I ended up paying $20 extra because of it.

This was just an overnight stay, but I will be back again. This hotel was just perfect. We stayed in Room 205 it had 2 Queen, beds were very comfortable and room was nice, clean, fresh smelling. I still took precautions (we travel with Lysol spray and wipes) every room gets my cleaning touch even if it is clean and fresh smelling. The fitness facility was closed due to covid-19 precautions. Nice new bed linens, thick and thirsty towels. E-Z on off highway, yet quiet. Sit down breakfast area with sausage muffins, sausage and egg muffins, cold cereal, milk, yogurt. Tables were spaced out, eating area was clean, people wore masks. Staff was very nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

If you need a clean, comfortable, safe, guest friendly place to stay at an affordable price this is the place! Pet friendly and has big rig parking lot. My husband and I stay here whenever we're in the area with no buyers remorse.

Within the pandemic, we are hesitant to stay at hotels but this location exceeded our expectations. Hotel staff were absolutely amazing. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great for being during this time. They still served eggs and sausage with an attendant on-hand to serve. Wonderful experience here and we will stay again at this location.

Location is right off I-81 if you're traveling. Check-in was very pleasant and the hotel is relatively new. The decor is nice and the room was clean. I have no complaints and would definitely stay here again on my travels. Also complimentary breakfast is served.

This place has everything anyone would require for a stay away from home. The pet walk area was fully stocked with bags to assist in cleaning up after your pooch/es. Do you have an electric vehicle? Well,..they have you covered there as well! The room was VERY clean and welcoming. The lobby was decorated (tastefully) for the holidays. Rating 1-10 I'd be giving this place an 11! The staff is very friendly and caring. I don't swing through these parts often but I'll definitely be staying here again if I should.

Amanda checked us in. She was friendly and knowledgable and told us about Angells diner next door with our room key 10% discount. We felt comfortable and safe. Staff were wearing masks and behind plexiglass. The breakfast was phenomal for Covid. We had eggs, sausage, biscuit, cereal or yogurt. Lots of beverage options. The woman working there was very nice and helpful.

I stayed for one night on the way to a vacation in Georgia. I was impressed by the overall cleanliness of the hotel and the unit. There were a couple of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, it was convenient for entry/exit from I-81. Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, breakfast was very simple only, but, if one wants more, there is a diner right next to the place. Coffee, juice, and cereal was enough for me. I will use it again if I am nearby again.

Wonderful experience here! Only downside was no indoor pool but we couldn't have used it this trip anyway which is why we selected it. Great location off I81 for our needs. And no one said a thing about those dang masks!

Stayed there while in town for a wedding. The rooms were newly remodled and very nice. Everything was nice and clean. The staff was helpful, friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay there again if ever in the area.

This was our first outing since the popular response to the current health scare successfully imploded all our previous planned trips. As such, we were not sure what to expect, nor what we would find in the "outside" world. I am happy to report that this property is coping well with the restrictions imposed by the commonly accepted response required to the health concerns that are so gloriously and enthusiastically reported by the 'news" media. The property is spotlessly clean, the staff amazingly upbeat. There is plenty of hot water, shower and sink drain as designed. Breakfast was limited, but well done, We found the mattress to be a bit more firm than is to our liking, but you may not even notice, since personal preference is, well,, personal. This property is worthy of your patronage and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Family with pets and kids. Accommodations were decent considering Covid. Pool closed - Covid. Breakfast is extremely limited - Covid. Hotel was very clean and room as well. Very friend staff! Pet rooms need cleaning. This is a very common issue in our hotel travels. Room was very musty (pet smelly) but to have such a clean place and understanding we were traveling with dogs which many places are not ok with, we were ok with the smell. We would stay again and the location is super close to 81. Gas station and good eats very close as well! Try Bella's for great Italian!!!

Every staff member went the 2nd mile to make my time staying the weekend at the Best Western North Roanoke VA hotel a wonderful experience of feeling safe, cared for and assured of complete hotel satisfaction. Everyone exceeded all my expectations of southern hospitality. I highly recommend you stay with these wonderful people and enjoy the sparkling clean resort lifestyle in this hotel in VA.

Best Western is my go-to company, and the location of this hotel right off of I-81 is the main reason I chose this one. During COVID, the pool is closed, and breakfast is not really much of a breakfast, but we were only here for one night. There's not much in the area, and only a few restaurants to choose from, but like I said, one night. The hotel is well-kept and clean, and suited us just fine.

Stay away from this place. Avoid like the plague. Rude staff so so room. Only gave it a not so decent review so that I could finish the survey.. Melinda has polished the fine art of complete and total rudeness

We stayed here for 8 days. Even though they were in the midst of Covid 19 they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The housekeeping staff was so nice and made sure that we always clean towels and anything else we needed. I will definitely recommend this to family and friends visiting the area.

Clean, clean, clean! Most impressed that the facility looked and smelled new, yet I was told building is about 25 years old. Obviously staff and management are dedicated to providing safe and sanitary conditions for guests during COVID-19. This is much appreciated. Also, location right off interstate is convenient, yet in an amazingly quiet area.

Easy to get to off I-81. Some truck parking on south side of building. Diner right next door, a good property. Bed was a bit worn out, they could use some updating. Desk clerk was friendlier when she saw I was a rewards member. Clean hotel, would stop again.

I have stayed at many BW properties since 2012. This one was leaps and bounds the cleanest, friendliest property of any. They should be role models for many others. The location was perfect for quick access to Roanoke or any of the wonderful places to visit.

Very welcoming and warm arrival. Hotel is clean with easy access. Pool was closed but that is expected in January in the mountains. Breakfast was good and items were fresh. We did have issues with our key cards not working.

Clean spacious room, at a good value.The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast that was offered was very good and was enjoyed by both my wife and myself. Our overall experience was terrific.

Our first time staying here since it was changed to BW. We still like it. The only complaint I have is the hot water. It wouldn't get hot and stay hot. Hopefully on our way back down, the hot water will be working again.

Stayed in this property overnight. Just started my cross-country trip. This hotel was very centrally located, The room was large and very clean. Internet access was quick and easy. Breakfast had many healthy choices and coffee was very good. The fitness center is brand new and beautiful. There is a restaurant next door. If you mention you're staying in the hotel they give you a 10% discount on your bill.

This is the 3rd or 4th year we have stayed at this hotel. We were a bit confused this year because it is now a Best Western hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to see it even nice than previous years. The reception area and hallway is much brighter and very welcoming. The rooms have not changed but are very nice. Very comfortable beds and pillows, big TV and nice toiletries. Warren, at reception was very pleasant and gave us a nice goodie bag when we signed up for the Best Western rewards plan. Another plus to this hotel and location is the great restaurant next door, Angelle's. Great food, pleasant efficient staff and just a walk across the parking lot.

Third time this year first since it was remodeled and branded BW. They did a great job and I will be coming back in 2020. The 10% discount at Angelle's Restaurant came in handy. The food is fantastic! If you have time take a ride to the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Va. and to the Virginia Military Academy Museum.

Stopped here on our trip home from New England. There was an accident causing 81N to be closed so it was very busy at the check in desk. Denise handled everyone very well, patient, friendly, apologizing for the wait. No one was getting upset. The room was Very nice and clean. Bed comfortable. No musty odor or pet smells . Breakfast was good area neat and clean.

We ended up booking this place at 10PM when an AirBNB fell through, and boy were we glad we did! The place was renovated recently (I believe another review said in July 2019?) and was both clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served between 6-9AM (even on weekends) so we never made it there but Angelle's, the diner next door, does an excellent breakfast! Great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere in the Roanoke area.

Stayed here for quick overnight traveling through. Associates were pleasant at front desk, had issues with keys not working and quick to resolve. Room was clean and breakfast had a good selection of offerings. There was a really good diner in the side parking lot worthy for a quick dinner. Hotel la dscapi g really nice considering the area this hotel is in.

Great hotel, clean facility and courteous staff! The hotel gives the appearance of a newer facility. The desk clerk was helpful and efficient. Normal hotel free breakfast but much cleaner than most, attendant was on top of everything. Would definitely stop again if I'm traveling through.

Our tour group stayed here on a Saturday night. The hotel had an “older hotel” feel with the wallpaper and fixtures but it is clean. The desk staff were ok but the breakfast staff were very helpful and breakfast was very good for this type hotel. The receptacles in the lamps are really loose (probably from wear and age) and do not work so find a tight receptacle on the wall and make sure it works before trusting it to charge your mobile devices. Overall ok.

We were informed by the front desk attendant that this hotel used to be a Comfort Inn - same hotel, same staff but recently switch to being a Best Western. The hotel is easily accessed from I-81. There are many gas stations and fastfood places, restaurants nearby (including a Cracker Barrel I believe). The inside of the hotel looks like it was recently renovated, looks modern, nice and bright. We had a ground floor room and can say that the hallways are wide, clean, bright and well lit. Our room was not too big but had enough space for 2 people. The A/C was nice and cool. The bathroom was big, had a separate sink area which is outside of the bathroom by the bed. The highlight of this hotel for me is the breakfast that they serve. There are plenty of items - hot and cold - to choose from that makes the meal substantial.

Been driving all day about 10 hours and needed a place to sleep, pulled in and was busy, hoping we could get a room. Received a king size bed, 1st floor , non smoking near the pool. Awesome room, bed was great, pillows were soft, just the way We like them, had the best nights sleep. Bathroom and shower very clean and well stocked. The shower was the best, good water pressure. Great restaurant next door . Free continental breakfast in the morning with coffee, hot coco, cappuccino. Eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal hot and cold and juices. Awesome. Great place to stay and reasonable

My car broke down and the gentleman at the front desk was awesome. The hotel was totally booked but he knew a regular guest wasn't checking in so he freed up the room for me. When I explained my car issues he gave me the # to a local mechanic. Following morning the mechanic helped me out and was back on my way.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with decent options for everyone. Good accessibility. No negatives to report at all. I would recommend and stay here again.

We stayed here for three nights while attending a college function nearby. It was less expensive than downtown Roanoke and had easy access to I-81. Overall it was comfortable and clean. Desk personal were efficient but not what I'd call friendly. The bathrooms were small, and the towels were only able to be hung above the toilet (which is gross!).The flushing mechanism on the toilet needed to be replaced or improved, but it did work although slow and loud. The common computer to look didn't work well and staff didn't know what to do to fix it. It's just off a busy intersection so you do have to be careful pulling in and out of the parking lot. All that said, we would stay here again.

This was more expensive than the Comfort Inn the night before and that had a much bigger room. The room served us well for one night, but there was just one comfortable chair. There were outlets by both sides of the bed which we appreciate. Breakfast was the usual, but they had NO skim milk and no unsweetened cereal. They did have Smuckers peanut butter which is much better than brand X we often see.

16th night of trip and last night was not a Choice hotel so glad to be back to quality, cleanliness, QUIET and value. Six of us arrived at the same time out of the storm and we were each in our rooms quickly...great service!
