Clean, decent sized room, nice bed, hot water, staff really attentive. Not the Ritz, but at this price point, you're really getting value for what you spend. I have to have 200 characters to submit a review and that's what this sentence is for.

We had another great experience during our stay. Chrissy and Heather are amazing! Professional and exceptional service with the small hometown persnal touch. Rooms are always clean and maintained. We will definitely stay again on our next visit.

Hotel's website said they had a shuttle service to Poopys Biker Bar in nearby Savannah, and that is why we decided to stay at this hotel. There was no shuttle service and we were therefore stranded at the hotel, as we didn't want to ride our bikes after dark.

They advertised a shuttle to local attractions, which they could/would not provide for our stay. We would never have booked here if we had known they could not provide this shuttle. We were unable to attend the local concert that we had waited 3 months to attend.

One of the best places to stay !!! Staff is absolutely amazing and truly gives you that hometown feel.. can't praise them enough!!highly recommend… for a weekend for family trip.. just a very nice place to stay. Thanks for the weekend!! Will for sure be back

Our Bike run to Savanna ended here. This place is exactly 5 minutes from Poopy's. Clean, spacious rooms; coffee, fridge, microwave, blow dryer. The continental breakfast was nothing fancy but good: waffles, muffins, yogurt, juice, oatmeal, cereal, etc. We spent some time at the bar and enjoyed the outdoor space. This was our second visit. Great weekend rate. Great place!

Booked a room here as we needed a place to stay after attending a concert at the Rhythm Section Amphitheater. Not much to look at from the outside, but the our room was very clean and the beds were comfy. Would have given 5 stars but our room was on the 2nd floor and close to the bar. The noise from the music being played, and from the people at the tables outside the bar, made it difficult to fall asleep. Breakfast wasn't extravagant but the make your own waffle was good enough for me.

Super nice staff....Chrissie was great.. Course in real good shape. ........ ...... .............. Beds were very comfortable overall a nice stay in a convenient location. Everything was tasty. especially the soup and the rest of the menu

The bed is probably the comfiest I have slept in, outside of my own, in years. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. Great shower, perfect sized little coffee pot for the morning and air conditioner works very quickly (unused to air-con systems so I never sleep with it running). We stopped here for one night on a road-trip and have genuinely had the best night's sleep I could have hoped for. Would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room has a nice upgraded bathroom. Minor downsides are limited breakfast options. And shower temp fluctuated. Very convenient if you want to get in a round of golf!

This was a perfect hotel for what we needed to do. Everything was close. Breakfast was small grab and go but good. Hotel people were friendly and helpful! Room smelled musty only real complaint

This is an awesome hotel. They are biker friendly and its located in a very convenient location for Savanna, Poopys and Physco Silo. The staff are very helpful and welcoming and the kitchen puts out great food. They will make you feel like home.

The whole hotel was clean and smelled very nice. The room I had was one of the best I've stayed for the price I paid. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I got off at 8 at night but they would make food for me when I got back to the hotel. Overall I think it might be the best hotel I've stayed at in the past 4-5 years.

We arrived to a friendly welcome and clean room. The room was spacious and had all necessary toiletries. The bar gave us a convenient meeting point for the family. The restaurant food was tasty. The hotel is located just minutes from our family. We will return on our next visit.

Great place to stay for Thomason IL. Very clean and updated rooms! Only thing was the breakfast was very limited! Very nice and helpful staff. We are staying again soon! Didn't use the pool. The bar was clean and efficient.

room smelled like mildew. room was very moist and walls are super thin. if you want a good sleep DONT STAY! nice people but awful stay. ice machine didn't work no vending machines people up and running in the hallways late at night

It's right on the golf course. Bar and kitchen on site. Friendly staff and clean rooms. free continental breakfast or you could order from the kitchen. Very very very good. It's 173 next time. I'm planning a vacation there. I'm gonna stay there.

Friendly staff! Very clean and dog friendly, which I needed with my Princess. The bar/grill is yummy too. I needed a getaway from the city, and this hotel near the Mississippi is perfect. I love that it's across from a cornfield. Great stay!

Great place to stay by a pretty golf course. Nice and quiet. Restaurant inside the hotel which made it very convenient & it serves really good food! All staff was very helpful and accommodating. I felt very safe and was pleased with everything during my stay.

The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The pillows fluffy and the bed HUGE!! We booked online which was convenient and prices were right. Breakfast in the morning and we are off to our next adventure! Thank you Surestay we WILL be back!

Great place to spend the night for motorcycle group! Clean rooms, bar and restaurant right there and friendly staff. We have a group of 30 motorcycles and staff was very accommodating. Even a shuttle to take you into Savanna once you're done riding for the day.

Filthy room, trash behind bed, bedding was dirty. Like has it ever been dusted? Tile floor is the bathroom was busted. Shower was disgusting. Not worth $10 let alone the $100 we spent a night. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

The hospitality was exceptional from the moment we walked into the lobby. All the staff were very friendly and happy and went beyond to make sure we were taken care of. This is a pure "diamond " 5 star + stay. I highly recommend you book here 1st.

Called last minute entire staff was very nice. Food in the lounge was excellent for price and friendly. Everyone including other guest were helpful in telling us about other activities to do in the area. Free shuttle bus to other establishments is a bonus !!

We were not greeted as Best Western rewards members, offered points or anything. It took a while for anyone to greet us and the same happened at check out. When we finally got our room, we entered to a room that had not been cleaned. There was stuff laying out and the bed hadn't been changed. We got a new room that was supposed to be cleaned, but needed a good scrubbing.The food area consisted of food that had been in the refrigerator from the night before. Very little to choose from, and the microwave was disgusting. I wish that I could post a picture of it. I think the staff was more focused on their golf course and bar. The hotel is the only one around for quite a distance, or we would have left and not stayed. So disappointed.

Our bike club rides here every fall for the weekend. Saturday we rode through the beautiful country side enjoying the scenic vistas, pubs, eateries and the friendly people. The hotel accommodations and staff are exceptional. Already looking forward to next year.

we have never been to savanna il we came in to go to POOPYS bar (just 5 minutes away) To see Electric shock the AC/DC tribute band! Who were amazing definitely worth the trip from Chicago il! This motel went above and beyond very impressed it is a nice updated clean motel with very friendly staff. Only complaint coffee sucks not drinkable at all.

There was rice inside the top two drawers, along with what looked like a soy sauce stain in the top drawer. The bathroom floor was dirty and there was a mysterious stain on the bathroom door frame - it was either blood, chocolate or ketchup...maybe it was more soy sauce?

The Sure Stay provided a very clean a d comfortable stay for the night before and night of our wedding. Very nice rooms, courteous staff , and having Sand Burr Run attached is a great bonus!!! Highly recommend having your Wedding/Reception at Majestic Pines and Staying at Sure Stay By Best Western in Thomson ,IL!!!!

We paid $150 per night for 2 nights for a room with 2 queens. The room was overall just okay - the beds were comfortable and the cleanliness was pretty good. Kind of a hodgepodge of furnishings as if the owners went to a hotel furniture liquidation event to furnish the rooms. Probably our biggest complaints were (1) the musty tobacco/cigarette smell inside the building (smoking is allowed outside and that is evident by the disgusting number of cigarette butts in the parking lot everywhere) and (2) the fact that we did not receive a visit from housekeeping though we spent 2 nights at the hotel. We had to retrieve our own towels for day 2. We usually stay at the Savannah Hotel and Suites up the road but it was booked. We will plan in advance for future travel so we are not stuck staying at this SureStay in Thomson. Too much $$ for the mediocre value. All that said, the front desk employee was very engaging and professional.

Hotel was clean, the staff was all very friendly, the bar had good food and drinks for everyone, and we took a golf outing to the course which was beautiful. Reasonable pricing all around. I would recommend to all families for a comfortable stay.

Wonderful place too stay, service is great hotel management is very helpful in anything that's needed to help make the stay comfortable. Kelsey and Andrew are really big assets for the hotel. Overall the experience is great.

Amazing place to stay super friendly and helpful staff!!! Andrew the manager is very great to work with and accommodating would highly recommend staying also great golf on site and very clean rooms will definitely stay again!!!! Kelsey was a great bartender in the in house bar/restaurant which is very convenient.

Great place to stay—-would stay again—— hope the world would get back to normal so we can get a better bigger selection of breakfast food - I believe ther was a golf course there but I don't golf - so come on down

Room smelled musty. Staff did not wear masks as listed in the description. Wedding had a DJ that had the music in the bar turned up as loud as it could be!! Didn't keep the hallway door closed or the bar door that would have lessened the noise. Drunks in the hallway cussing and pounding on doors. Management wouldn't turn down the music. Said they had a right to have a reception but we have a right to a quiet nights res and a clean smelling room. Also the coffee maker didn't work and had a scum/mold on top of the water reservoir!!! We couldn't sleep!! Awake until 1:30 in the morning!! A terrible place to stay!

On-site owners. Down to earth, wonderful people. We rode in with a group - (not judged for being Bikers, quite the opposite). The entire property and grounds were VERY clean. The pics online are accuratae. Great service, better value - I can't say enough. We will go back!

Great place to stay, stayed a few years ago. Ok they have fully remodeled the entire place. Very clea, new carpet, beds, bathrooms, curtains. Everything updated. Went from 1980s to current modernize. Much better. I will be back

Front desk help was very friendly. She is a natural for making people feel welcome. Not only did I have a nice conversation with her but she recommended a great pizza/ taco restaurant to me in the area that was outstanding. Great to get good recommendations from locals.

Friendly staff working the bar and the hotel check in. Nice continental breakfast with a lot of options in a very nice dining area. The room was clean and had plenty of space - I appreciated being able to bring our dog with us. Hotel is also on the golf course - so perfect to stay after you play.

The rooms are great. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms have all been updated. Free continental breakfast. The hotel is on the golf course! A mile from boating on the Mississippi river. It has a bar with some gaming machines. Overall great hotel! Will stay again!

Room was clean. no alarm clock or clock,very patched together. Loud. OK to stay. Like I said the room was clean..Had a bar below our room. and you could hear all of the outside noise. If I has to stay there again, I probably would. Take some earplugs.

Some of the rooms have been updated, but ours was not. The cheapest rooms are over $100.00 (including tax). The walls were recently painted and that's it. No phones in the rooms. The bathtub/shower/bathroom reminded me of the seventies. We didn't take a shower because of the condition of the bathroom. No lock or chain inside the metal room door. The small TV was setting on a piece of plywood on top of the dresser. Towels and wash clothes were very ruff and were closer to tan than white. We could the hear band playing until after midnight, as if it was next door. Heard every person that walked in the stairwell, hallway or closed a door. Can't say anything bad about the breakfast, because they don't have one. This is a room I would expect to pay $39.99, not $100.00.

Booked the room on a busy weekend. Biked from the Quad Cities and planned to ride, drink and to stay. Price was a little high but worth it, these guys drive you into Savanna to the bars and back to the hotel. Nice bar right there on site (old pool area) and they offered a cook your own meal special. Strip steak and 2 sides for $10. Room was just ok, seemed dated and bathroom pretty rough and cheaply installed. Light breakfast for free. Employees are nice and helpful. I would stay again and will.
