Das Hotel ist schön und Aufgrund der herzlichen Bewirtung und dem Bemühen der Hotelmitarbeiter fühlt man sich wohl. Trotz des günstigen Preises haben Standard Ausstattungen gefehlt.

Ganz furchtbare Zimmer. Unser Doppelzimmer hatte 2 einzelne Betten , jeweils am anderen Ende des Zimmers, weil Esszimmer zu schmal war , um sie nebeneinander stellen zu können . Insgesamt war das Zimmer eine Besenkammer - die teuerste , die wir je gesehen haben. Der Nachttisch verdient den Namen nicht, kein Licht im Bett Nähe , das winzige Bad hat keine Steckdose. Ein sehr düsteres , deprimierendes Zimmer.
Thank you for your feedback. We would however like to clarify that you did not book a Double Room with one shared 180 cm bed. Your reservation was for a Twin Room, meaning two separate 90 cm beds. The room you initially received was therefore exactly the room type that had been booked and paid for. Upon arrival, you informed us that you would have preferred one shared bed instead. We explained that this would require a change to a Double Room category, and unfortunately no Double Rooms were available during your stay at the time of arrival, as the hotel was fully sold out in that category. However, as soon as availability allowed that was the next day, we did arrange a room change for you during your stay to another Twin Room. Our reception team has informed you that we are able to offer an upgrade to one of our Double Sea View rooms for the remainder of your stay, subject to availability and an upgrade fee. We have also offered you a specially discounted rate as a gesture of goodwill, specifically for you. As you still have three nights remaining with us, you are of course still very welcome to visit the reception should you wish to proceed with the category change. As our hotel is located in a historic building dating back to the 1600s in Gamla Stan, room layouts can vary and reflect the preserved original architecture of the property. Ideal in der Altstadt gelegen mit direkter Bus/Strassenbahn/Fähranbindung. Der direkte Weg von der Metrostation zum Hotel war mit Koffer war über das Altstadtpflaster etwas holprig. Sonst toller Service, komme gerne wieder

Einfaches Hotel im Altstadtviertel, an lauter Straße, nahe am Wasser. Wir hatten zwei „Deluxe Doppelzimmer“. Das eine Zimmer (Bild 1) war ok, Bad vielleicht etwas klein. Die Fenster gingen zur Seite raus, trotzdem war die vierspurige Straße vor dem Hotel sehr laut zu hören, so daß ich trotz geschlossener Fenster nur mit Ohrstöpseln schlafen konnte. Unser zweites „Deluxe“-Zimmer (Bilder 2 und 3) war ein länglicher Schlauch auf dem Dachboden. Die Koffer mußte man dort eine steile Treppe hochwuchten. Finde ich nicht angemessen, und man möchte gar nicht wissen, wie dann die normalen Doppelzimmer aussehen. Frühstück war ok, den Frühstücksraum im Keller fand ich zu klein. Wir mußten als Familie z.T. getrennt sitzen oder eine Weile warten, bis ein Tisch für 4 frei war. Der Service war im ganzen Haus sehr freundlich, nett und bemüht, die Sauberkeit auch gut.

The noise from the street can unfortunately affect some of our rooms depending on the time of day, and I understand how frustrating that is when you're trying to rest. I also appreciate your feedback regarding the attic room and the steep staircase — our historic building creates some unique layouts, but I understand that this was inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage. Your comments about the breakfast room and the limited space are very helpful. Sehr großes Zimmer für uns drei, das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich und lecker. Die Lage ist schön zentral, die Schärentour startet direkt vor der Haustür.

Das Hotel liegt super direkt am Rande der Altstadt. Alles ist super zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gemütlich. Das ganze Haus ist recht verschachtelt, aber das macht den besonderen Reiz aus. Das Frühstück ist vom Feinsten. Das Personal ist absolut freundlich und immer gut drauf. Wir waren mit allem rundherum zufrieden.

Wegen Flugverspätung konnte ich das Hotel erst sehr spät betreten und bekam dann ein Zimmer unter dem Dach, das ich nicht mehr tauschen wollte. Eingebaut ins Dachgeschoss, erreichbar über verwinkelte Treppchen, lag hier das 214 €-Zimmer mit einem Fenster so groß wie ein Laptop, ohne Minibar, ohne Safe. Mir ist bewußt, wie schwierig es ist, alte Gemäuer in akzeptable Hotels umzubauen, aber ich habe viele Zimmer bewohnt, bei denen das geglückt ist. Hier aber dominiert nicht der alte Charme, sondern architektonische Peinlichkeit. Das recht ordentliche (aber nicht besondere) Frühstück nimmt man im eng-bestuhlten Kellergewölbe ein, das allerdings ein paar Fenster hat.
Wir waren für 2 Nächte über's Wochenende da und haben die Zeit in diesem charmanten, verwinkelten und gemütlichen Hotel sehr genossen. Sehr freundliche MitarbeiterInnen sowohl an der Rezeption als auch im Service. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und auch kurz vor Schluß wird nochmal nachgefüllt oder auf Wunsch noch etwas nachgebracht - top! Die Lage ist natürlich sensationell, 50 m durch eine kleine Gasse und man steht mitten in Gamla Stan - Zentrum, kungliga slottet, Södermalm, die Fähren in die Schären - alles ist sehr schnell zu erreichen. Die Standardzimmer sind klein, aber gemütlich - und die meiste Zeit ist man ja eh unterwegs. Wer es eher modern mag, sollte sich vielleicht etwas anderes suchen, wer gerne "mittendrin" ist und gerne in Hotels mit eigenem "Charakter" wohnt ist hier super aufgehoben.

Wir haben vier Nächte in diesem charmanten, verwinkelten Hotel verbracht. Es ist sehr zentral gelegen und die Zimmer auf der Frontseite bieten eine fantastische Aussicht auf das Wasser. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber. Die eher altmodische Dekoration des ist Geschmacksache. Es war aber zweckmässig eingerichtet und mit einem neuen Bad ausgestattet. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und das Zimmer sehr ruhig, wir haben bestens geschlafen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Das Personal an der Rezeption war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
