Best Western Plus Hotel New Richmond Inn & Suites, New Richmond

BW in New Richmond was a newer hotel with a nice breakfast and rooms that were nice sized, clean, and had nice amenities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great as it was close to major roads, food, and the downtown area.

Nice large rooms and very clean and smelled clean. We stayed during an Outlaw Race so the motel was a full house. It was a very good breakfast and the motel was quiet as well. Plus...... the ice machines didn't run out of ice.

The staff is extremely rude and will not help if a problem arises. For the price of this hotel the service made is absolutely terrible. I've never been treated so poorly. Do not waste your money on this hotel.

Comfortable beds and expanded breakfast options for low carb eaters. Omelets and sausage patties. Clean rooms and quiet. Great option for wedding room block or business stay. Has a pool though I did not use.

Helpful staff, clean rooms and pool area, wide variety of breakfast items. One block from Wal Mart and 1/2 block to Culvers. Multiple parking areas for all kinds of vehicles. 3 floors of rooms in relatively quiet area of New Richmond.

We came to New Richmond to visit my grandpa and our sons Great Grandfather. Also, we spent time with our God son that just turned 18. So we needed a place to stay for 2 nights. New Richmond has 4-5 hotels and the Best Western is by far the best choice. Last, the price to stay is very fair especially with the top shelf amenities.

We came to town for our mothers funeral and we all stayed here. We would gather in dining/breakfast area and there was a lot of us! We would get a little loud at time too but they graciously put up with us at this difficult time. This place was clean, good breakfast, nice room and friendly staff. I would recommend.

This lovely hotel has very high standards regarding customer service, cleanliness and modern and practical rooms. The clean pool and Spa area invites for a relaxing stay. The gym serves you with state of the art equipment, to get rid of the stress.

Overall no major complaints, but didn't sleep that well due to super starchy sheets, and small cheap uncomfortable pillows. Just those 2 things can make a world of difference. Also not a fan of heating/cooling units on the wall by the window. All night long it's either too warm or too cool it seems like with these types of units.

Salt water pool & the hot tub were great. Breakfast was good, kids love the waffles. Gal that answered the phone when I called was very helpful, young man that checked us in at 10pm was great and the day crew was also helpful. Overall upbeat staff, safe area, we went skiing @ Trollhaugen and had a great day. Then to Somerset for Sam's lights and supper at Phil's Tara in Stillwater was excellent Greek food. Fun weekend - good comfy beds.

Great place to stay and great value. Cleaning crew was extremely hard working and friendly. All but one of the desk help was extremely friendly and helpful. We did not let this ruin our stay. Highly recommend this place if you are in need of a large group staying! Very accommodating

This hotel was very well designed. The lobby was especially nice and spacious and many options for guests. Our room (regular 2 queen) was spacious, the bathroom was spotless, and the beds were comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very pleasant stay. Rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable, nice pool and hot tub and breakfast was what you would expect at a hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in this area.

This hotel did not disappoint!!! Luxurious bedding and clean rooms were welcoming and very comfortable. Hot breakfast options available daily. Courteous staff who offered great assistance. A great variety of room types were available.

This is a beautiful new property the bathtub wasn't as clean as I wanted it to be the TV did not work in our room and never got fixed. But our front desk people that we dealt with, were simply amazing! I will come back just to have a conversation with charity. Her personality is perfect and she was so helpful and very knowledgeable.

Expecting great things at BW Plus; since you pay premium for "Plus". Breakfast did not include eggs/bacon, etc. -- only waffles & soggy breakfast sandwiches. Room counter dirty. No TV guide anywhere; not on remote either. Ran out of TP. No in between days cleaning. WiFI difficult to get on.

If you have a special need we will all we can to accomidate your request.

This hotel has a really nice social area, pool and breakfast to offer. They also have lovely rooms. The ONLY thing that is off putting is the showers, no matter what we did there was no way to avoid getting the entire bathroom floor wet with how they have the showers set up. Other than that the beds were super comfy, room kept a great temp. and the room had everything you would need for a couple night stay.

This new hotel is perfect for the cyclist who needs room to park his pickup and trailer while he rides in the area and in our case attends a Indian Bike Rally. With the normal weddings and other activities we planned ahead and had plenty of rooms available for our group.

We had previously spent a week 2 hours north of New Richmond and were on our way home. Due to busy travel season not many motels had vacancy in our line of travel so we headed off the beaten path and found this great stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was great. Employee at the front desk was very helpful with our questions and needs. We did not have an opportunity to try the breakfast as we opted for some pool time instead before heading home. We are now looking forward to having a vacation in the New Richmond area again soon and we will be booking BW+.

I was impressed with the beautiful and very clean room. And the breakfast amazing, a great variety and very well prepared. The only complaint I would have is the inability to check in before 3PM. Other than that I would highly recommend the Best Western Plus in New Richmond.

Excellent facility, very clean and comfortable rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful, make the extra effort to make stay enjoyable. Parking is limited, with no spaces for longer vehicles. Large breakfast area is nice.

Really enjoyed two nights here. Lovely facility, modern, clean, nice pool/hot tub area. Greatly reduced cleaning staff due to COVID, but understandable and not really needed unless there is some sort of immediate cleaning need - we don't require new towels every day. I asked for a couple trash bags at front desk and they provided them. Reduced food service in morning due to COVID, but understandable. Easy access to the main highways going through town. Not a ton of great restaurants in this town, part of the state, but there are a couple.

Excellent Service during a 30 day stay while waiting on apartment to become available to move into upon completion. Felt like being at home, easy to communicate with and very professional and courteous. Highly recommended. Exceptionally Clean.

Clean, friendly staff, great beds! I stay here all the time as we travel to visit family. We don't hear other guests through the walls and appreciate how comfortable the rooms are. It is our go to for the area!

We went to visit my sister and brother-in-law and she had suggested the best Western for staying and it was simply the best we were greeted upon arriving very friendly welcome and then we went to our room very clean also a microwave and fridge and coffee maker so three pretty essential things to have in a hotel room The bed was super comfy... also for a continental breakfast with having Covid they had what I thought was an amazing continental breakfast granola bars yogurt apples bananas oranges deviled eggs and then a hot breakfast sandwich all that you could put in a brown paper bag... of course coffee juice was provided as well... upon leaving my sister stopped over she wanted to check out the hotel since she recommended it and she was pleasantly surprised and so glad that she recommended it wonderful stay I would recommend it to anyone...

All employees were super friendly, the room was very clean, beds were very comfortable. It is a great hotel, we used points to stay but definitely would have been worth paying for the room. Due to COVID-19 there was a brown bag breakfast which included a hot wrapped sandwich, cartons of milk, coffee, packaged boiled eggs, yogurt and juice. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is gorgeous. Staff are friendly and helpful. Clean rooms. Smells clean and new! Breakfast was great for the price of the room. They were able to make us feel at home! I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is very new, clean and comfortable. Breakfast each day was wonderful. We had scrambled eggs, western omelettes, french toast, fried eggs....lots of great food.The bed and entire room was comfortable. I wish I had this bathroom at home!!! We will definitely be back.

Hotel was poorly staffed for our Hockey Tournament. Pool was treated with dangerous levels of chlorine (Kids Puked). Safety was lacking as guests were threatened and hotel could not establish a semblance of Control.

Thank you for your comments. Guest safety and security is always a top priority and would never be compromised. Our pool has a salt water filtration system that uses a minimal amount of chlorine. Both the pool and spa have a continual automatic testing for chemical levels with an alarm system. Testing is done manually as well. I can assure you that at no time was the pool or spa unsafe.

Hotel was extremely clean. Very nice rooms. Conference room was a bit small but plenty of overflow into lobby area for our hockey team and families to hang out! Very accommodating staff who keep order when the hotel was full with a bunch of 9-12 yr old hockey players and their families!

Hotel is new, clean and easy to find. Staff was unfriendly, absent, all around rude. I chose this hotel simply becuase it was the only option available. We were in town for a birthday party. I am glad I don't have to choose this hotel again.

The staff and the accommodations of our stay were fantastic. We had a large group staying with us and they had a perfect meeting room for us to enjoy dinner together. The staff ensured that we had everything we needed and were very helpful. The breakfast was great with a large lobby area.

If you want to clean facility, if you want really comfortable mattress to sleep on, if you want to stay where the employees are exceptionally nice, if you don't want a real quality breakfast each morning, this is the place!

Great hotel, clean, comfortable bed and clean room. We have stayed here before and will stay again. The housekeeping is waaaay below standard. We stayed 2 nights and no one cleaned the room or replaced towels or removed trash. They didn't even come in our room.

Everything in my title...room was spacious, clean, new, modern and great. The lobby/breakfast was spacious and functional and the kids seemed to love the pool. While we didn't use it I thought it was cool that they have a lift to allow handicapped people to be in the pool. And whlle I didn't use it, I thought it was clever to have electric car charging stations outside!

Thank you for noticing our electric car charging station! We are the only hotel in the area that has one. It is important to us that we are as energy efficient as we can be and it is great to be able to provide this service to our guests.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in New Richmond very much. A bit pricey for a small town, but seemed fairly new. The breakfast was top-notch for a hotel. The walk-in shower was nice. Room was clean and stylish.

This was our first stay at this hotel and we were not disappointed. There were 5 of us and we had adjoining rooms, which made it so convenient. The rooms were roomy, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and courteous and very helpful with recommendations for places to eat. I would definitely stay here again.

My house recently burned down a month ago the insurance company had me put up in the hotel for over a month now from beginning to end Jeff steppedaside from the rest. All employees were excellent but Jeff Beyond Exceled as he bends over backwards for absolutely everybody all the time

Such a wonderful experience for our baseball team weekend away. The staff was great, especially front desk Samantha! The beds were so comfortable so I will have to find out what kind of beds those were and buy one for my house! Thx for all your staff did to host our team.

Very nice Hotel, would of given a 5 rating except pretty pricey. $140 for a single King on Saturday Front Desk Employees were very helpful for around town information. This appears to be a fairly new hotel, rooms were very clean

The New Richmond Wi Best Western Plus is very nice and a new building. Great location and close to everything in town. They also have things for purchase that you may have forgotten about. And for that late night snack and a beverage they have that too...even BEER!!!

Best Western in New Richmond, WI was super! Very clean, comfortable rooms, nice bathrooms. Check in and out were a breeze. You have never met nicer people than the ladies at the desk! I would highly reccomend Best Western.

Spent several nights here while conducting business in the region. This was a comfortable location to finish business and rest at the end of the day. Morning breakfast option was a nice way to start the day.

This is a newer motel, so every thing is like new. It is very clean and inviting. The staff was friendly. This motel is close to every thing you need in the area. The lobby and breakfast area are very spacious and inviting.

I frequent this area several times a year. First time I stayed at this Best Western. I was impressed. It is clean, very welcoming, and staff was great. Breakfast was very good and also kept clean. I did not use the workout room as I normally would on these trips, but the equipment looks well kept. Will definitely return and advise coworkers to do the same.

Highly recommend, clean, modern. Great mattress and pillows. Large selection of breakfast options . Liked the online check in and Express check out, truly a timesaver when you come in from long trip and have to leave again early.

Beautiful new hotel with great service. We were traveling with our hockey team and families for a tournament. The staff accommodated our whole team well. Everyone enjoyed the free breakfast. There were other hockey teams in the hotel as well but the staff kept the breakfast items filled so there was no waiting. The lobby area is big and beautiful with plenty of room to relax and gather with friends. The staff allowed us to gather there well into the night as long as we kept the noise level down. We really appreciated this as most hotels don't allow you to gather in the lobby past 10 or 11. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

I would say when they built this hotel they had "Luxury" in mind while still making it affordable. I had a company function in town and booked this location. Check-in was easy, staff was friendly, and the room was clean and functional with some high-end finishes like granite countertops in the bathroom, gorgeous glass shower doors, etc. The WiFi was great as well. The room also had a refrigerator & coffee maker. I'd highly recommend staying here for business or pleasure.

It seems my review was erased from easier this summer. I feel my experience will always be valid and important to other people who are thinking about setting up a wedding block. This is my original review. I started to reserve rooms for my wedding block back in June. I have gone through numerous phone calls, because it has been nearly impossible to contact anyone. You are given multiple names of people to contact and everyone is extremely hard to reach. Once I finally reached the person who I needed to contact, I was given pricing for the wedding block and told that I would be receiving a contract to sign by email. I never received a contract, so I went back to calling and leaving voicemails with no phone calls in return. Today, two months later, I contacted the Best Western Plus and received news stating that the room block rate that I was quoted was never valid. I was repeatedly told there were no notes on file of any conversations I had previously had with management. On top of this, I was told a block rate price that was over $20 more the original price I was given, they were no longer making all rooms (Kings and Queens) the same block rate, and the queen suite I was reserving for the bridesmaids to spend the night before the wedding increased in price over $50. I asked to speak to the manager of the Best Western Plus. I was told that I would receive a phone call from the manager shortly, because she was on another call. I still have not heard from the manager, and I don't believe I will ever hear from her given my experience since day one. I highly suggest you are very hesitant when thinking about booking with Best Western Plus. The management does not hold customer service to a very high standard and are not willing to take any ownership for their mistakes. Their only solution was to give me a higher group block rate. I feel that Best Western Plus can't be trusted with any type of wedding block due to extremely poor management and customer service.

The bed was fabulous. The room was very clean and the shower is out of this world. Making reservations was a snap. The pool is very nice but a little chilly to my liking. Check in was a breeze. Local restaraunts are very friendly and tasty.Quiet location away from all the traffic but close to down town.

The hotel is brand new so the facilities are in great shape. Decor is very nice. Breakfast is good; typical hotel breakfast. Pool was awesome; loved that the had the contraption for those who need assistance getting in. Staff was friendly, bed was comfortable, loved the bathroom countertop. Highly recommend.

Stayed at the Best Western for a hockey tournament and was very happy with the stay and staff at this hotel. The hotel just opened in April and everything still looks brand new. Hockey teams and parents can present challenges for hotels in various ways, but the staff was beyond patient, accommodating and communicated expectations. Breakfast in the morning was surprisingly good and fresh and step up from typical free hotel breakfast. Only complaint (and this is a very small one) is the hotel only has one elevator. It does have stairs on both sides, but with a lot of people in the hotel using the elevator it was hard getting into and out of the elevator. The pool area was also on the smaller size, but again this is just nitpicking a nice and enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed having your hockey team stay with us. We know a great start with the right breakfast is important so our breakfast has a wide variety of hot, quick and healthy choices. This is our first season so we appreciate the feedback on how we handled large groups and ways that we can make it a great experience for all our guests.

We were there for a hockey tourney and not only was the hotel amazing, they were so accommodating to our group. We needed a place to hang for awhile before our next game and they were able to let us use their lounge area until game time time. This place was great!

Traveling with a group of friends, we found this perfect hotel in a small town atmosphere. Clean comfortable rooms. Average hotel breakfast selections. Very accommodating staff. Beds were comfortable, however they need to provide a little step stool upon request as they are quite high. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed in a king suite for one night in October. Hotel appears to be pretty new. We were pretty blown away by the appearance of the hotel and rooms. Very classy and upscale hotel for the price you pay. Bed was very comfortable and we loved the bathroom, especially the 2 person walk in shower. The hotel seemed fairly busy but quiet. All staff we encountered were very friendly and welcoming. I have no real reason to come back here since i live close by but i was really blown away by this place so im definitely going to be coming back, just for fun.

First of all this is a beautiful hotel. The decor and colors were really nice. Very clean and the pool was really nice. It was very quiet too. The breakfast was nice and the breakfast area was clean. The staff was extremely nice and check in and check out was fast.

Hotel is only about 4 months old and is very pristine. Everything is new, hotel staff was wonderful. Wish we could have stayed more than one night as the bed was heavenly!! Recommend highly staying here.

Nice new hotel, just don't turn right by Kwik Trip as Google tells you, Take a left and in one block you will see the back of the hotel. No signs to be seen from the main road coming into town. If you like full size pillows better bring your own. Salt water pool was refreshing.

This is a Beautiful hotel-the staff are friendly and helpful-definitely would recommend staying here for whatever your traveling for-breakfast was wonderful and it has an elevator so it makes it easy to get to the 3 3rd floor with your luggage

Brand new hotel!! Clean and organized lobby and reception desk. Spacious bathrooms along with comfortable beds. Hotel seemed fairly central to other attractions in the area. Only down fall would have been a lobby bar to enjoy a beverage while we waited for our other friends to arrive. Overall great stay!

New hotel! Five stars is more than deserved. The staff (DeeDee) awesome, friendly, accommodating. It is a beautiful motel. Very comfortable beds/pillows, very roomy rooms, great lighting, large shower. The pool and hot tub are so clean. It is in a very nice location. The breakfast was awesome with lots of choices and everything hot and tasty. The staff will do everything to accommodate and make sure you enjoy your stay. We will be staying here again and again!

Super new and clean. Gorgeous decorating and squeaky clean. Good Location, Will stay here again. Wish the windows were functional though. I like to get fresh air. Not a fan of having to have the HVAC running all the time.

I started to reserve rooms for my wedding block back in June. I have gone through numerous phone calls, because it has been nearly impossible to contact anyone. You are given multiple names of people to contact and everyone is extremely hard to reach. Once I finally reached the person who I needed to contact, I was given pricing for the wedding block and told that I would be receiving a contract to sign by email. I never received a contract, so I went back to calling and leaving voicemails with no phone calls in return. Today, two months later, I contacted the Best Western Plus and received news stating that the room block rate that I was quoted was never valid. I was repeatedly told there were no notes on file of any conversations I had previously had with management. On top of this, I was told a block rate price that was over $20 more the original price I was given, they were no longer making all rooms (Kings and Queens) the same block rate, and the queen suite I was reserving for the bridesmaids to spend the night before the wedding increased in price over $50. I asked to speak to the manager of the Best Western Plus. I was told that I would receive a phone call from the manager shortly, because she was on another call. I still have not heard from the manager, and I don't believe I will ever hear from her given my experience since day one. I highly suggest you are very hesitant when thinking about booking with Best Western Plus. The management does not hold customer service to a very high standard and are not willing to take any ownership for their mistakes. Their only solution was to give me a higher group block rate. I feel that Best Western Plus can't be trusted with any type of wedding block due to extremely poor management and customer service.

Hotel is clean, new, comfortable and in a great location with awesome staff and amenities! Traveling with friends and stayed for 3 nights. Great breakfast! Spa and pool were wonderfully clean, loved the salt water pool!

I truly, truly wanted to give this hotel a five star rating because service was excellent the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. But being in Wisconsin and going down for the breakfast and discovering mediocre coffee and coffee creamer that is artificial (verse 1/2&1/2) really, really was disappointing. We are in the middle of Wisconsin, dairy capital of the United States and these people dare to have artificial creamer, sorry that just Proves again that Best Western hotels are still trailer trash hotels.

Brand new motel, what's not to like? A bit hard to find, off the "main drag". Motel inexplicably puts it's back to the street it's on. Could use a few more towels stocked in the room. Great breakfast. We would return!

We stayed here for three nights while attending a wedding. The hotel is shiny new and clean. The free breakfast is top notch with hot food selections as well as fruit and cereal. A really nice place to stay.

I was there for business. We were among the first ones to be in this new hotel. Very nice decor, roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The hot breakfast options were great. This hotel, for the value, is a great bargain! Would definitely stay here again.

Family get together was fantastic. The kids enjoyed the pool and the staff was excellent. Very helpful with meeting our needs. It's been two days since we stayed and have recommended this to others in the family when traveling to this area.

This hotel just opened April 2018. There are still a few kinks to work out. They are still finishing some parts. The lobby is large and impressive. There is an elevator. They do need more luggage carts. Their service is very accommodating. There was a problem with our room. They gave us another with an additional discount. They have hot breakfast, however these items were not put out hot. They were ice cold to tepid. I finally said something. There is a saltwater pool, hot tub and fitness center. The stationary bike is confusing to program. This place may give the competition a run for the money in time.
