Best Western Plus Jeonju Hotel

A  very nice, well appointed hotel which is comfortable, clean and quiet. Aircon works really well. It appears not to be a place where many tourists stay, the reception staff on duty when we were there couldn't even point out the location of the hotel on the map.  We wanted to walk to the cultural village late afternoon but were advised it was a very long way.  We are good walkers, but were directed right and right upon leaving the hotel when in fact it was left and right! Consequently we ended up in what looked like a major retail area and not where we wanted to be. Despite the inconveniences, the hotel was nice, we'd recommend staying there.

Best Western is not 5 mins walk from shops that have eateries and cloths top brands represented Uniqlo, Nike to name a few. When you exit hotel turn right and at crossing at end of street cross over and keep walking for pastry and eatery shops . Hungry Jacks once crossed at crossing turn right for HJ the only western food that I found the chicken sandwich is plane and simple. No toiletries,2 bottles of complimentary water, bed comfortable ,hairdryer, hot shower, safe . Go to roof for view over Jeonju

Came in late afternoon. Quick check in and up to Avery clean room. Had a good breakfast which caters to both local and western pallets The hotel has a free laundry with dryer which was very useful after a few days travel Very friendly and helpful staff at the desk

The location: an easy walk to the shopping and dining areas (I can recommend Ay Mamita if you want a change from Korean food). The room:  The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very nice.  The pillows were way too fat (I used my neck cushion instead).  Others in our group also complained about this. Toiletries provided include toothbrushes, bulk sized body wash, shampoo and conditioner.  Moisturiser was not provided. The worst part was the sensor light in the entrance hallway.  It triggers whenever someone goes to the bathroom during the night disturbing the other person still sleeping.  Pack something to cover the sensor in the middle of the light and you'll sleep much better!  There is no top sheet, just a very thick quilt so you either melt or go uncovered.  The fridge is very small with no freezer space. The buffet breakfast: Great variety and kept well stocked throughout. The fitness centre:  Rather disappointing. It was very hot in there.  I asked staff for help but that made no difference. There are 2 treadmills, a bike and some free weights but no bench.  The treadmills have very narrow running tracks and one didn't work at all as the magnet was missing.  Staff just shrugged when asked about this.  No water or towels are available in the fitness centre. The lifts were very slow so don't leave it until the last minute to use them.

An excellent and modern hotel. Rooms very clean and nice. Kettle, coffee and tea in the room. There is a fridge in the room. Breakfast is very tasty, there are also Korean dishes. There is a shopping mall and numerous restaurants nearby. The hotel has a swimming pool and gym.

Very nice hotel. Really nice sized room & bathroom. Clean & comfortable. Friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet. Conveniently located near multiple convenience stores & restaurants. Good wifi. Pretty decor in lobby. Only negative is slow elevator service when busy.

This was one of our more spacious hotels on our Korean trip. It was spotlessly clean, very modern and we had a room with a single and double bed. There were lots of usb and charging spots including a sophisticated laptop charging area. There was a fancy electronic toilet and good shower pressure with a modern hand held and rain shower. Push the right hand temperature knob to get water flow. A bonus was the Korean style dressing gowns while we were out. Air conditioning operates to 6 pm and then shuts down except for heating because it isn't considered necessary but the windows open to give you a cool breeze if you want. We definitely didn't get hot in the last week of March and got lovely views of the sunrise. Like most Korean hotels there doesn't appear to be stairs (they seem to have a rappelling from the room arrangement!) so you rely on elevators which at peak times are full so allow extra time then. Breakfast buffet on the 2nd floor was good with hot and cold options, eg. buffalo wings, chips, salads, fruit, fried eggs, juice, etc. It is well located. The walking distance to the Hanok Village is about 10 minutes and the modern shopping district is about 6 minutes. There is a 24 hr convenience store right outside. Probably our best hotel on our Korean stay.

Room is tiny. Air-conditioning is only a heater meaning you need to open a window which lets in road noise. Little things like no stirrer or milk powder for the coffee let the hotel down. Couldn't get thesafe to work either. Don't get me started on the lack of lighting.
