Sure Hotel by Best Western Limoges Sud

Great team, warm and listening. Nice restaurant. We ate for dinner and breakfast, and it was tasty. Comfortable rooms, spacious. I asked for a baby bed and it was already there and prepared when we arrived.

Booked this hotel for my family and friends as an overnight stop off. Hotel was nice, clean, we have inter-connecting rooms which was good. Parking was close. Staff were rude from the moment we got to the desk. they were also rude to our children and very abrupt. Apart from the staff the hotel was exactly what we wanted.

Stayed at this hotel on 1st May (which was a Wednesday) - on Journey down we got an email telling us they weren't open until 5pm so had to alter our travel arrangements. When we got there there was a notice on the hotel door saying the restaurant was closed (website said it was open) and that the hotel was fully booked . 'Greeted' by a very surly woman who obviously didn't want to be there - there were as we far as we could see only one other couple in the hotel for the night - we hadn't realised that it was a french holiday but do believe that they should not have accepted our booking rather than treating us like something they had walked in on their shoes! We had upgraded our room but it was still very small, this must have been a Campanile or similar lower quality hotel in the past - the nespresso machine was broken but no-one around to report it to - very Marie Celeste ish. Altogether a very poor experience (a little like camping in an empty office) and we shall never repeat it. Total waste of money Very Sad

We found the Inter-Hotel Apolonia fine. Nothing special but ok on value. The reception staff were not that friendly but were fairly helpful. We were not impressed that the restaurant was closed (which was a Friday so unless that is counted as the weekend in Inter-Hotel it should have been open) especially when it was advertised that it was! We did have a lovely meal at the hotel up the road and they seemed to recognise the pattern of the Inter-Hotel. Our room was fine with a nice bed and good shower. The room was also clean and nicely decorated. It is an interesting establishment because there are so many positives and then some nagging issue which could be fixed easily. Hotel decor varies from nice to horrible. Fairly easy to access off A20 but a very fast road to cross to get to it. Would give it a miss when planning future trips.

excellent value hotel, clean and comfortable, staff very polite and friendly, evening meal good, ideally placed for access to the motorways and limoges, nice and quiet position. We were buying a property and this was a good place to stay and relax with a beer at the bar in the evening.
