« Best at this price »

It is one of the best places I have ever visited. The lobby looks like a high-class motel. The smell is pleasant in the lobby. The young guy JAY who works in evening shift is very helpful. Quite and nice area with lots of options of restaurants to eat at walkable distance. you should try Applebee's restaurant next to the motel. Nice and soft beds. breakfast is from 6 to 9 in the morning with danish, muffins, flavoured yoghurts, boiled eggs, oatmeal, gravy ,juice and waffles.

« Kinda creepy and unpleasant oder »

The lighting is poor in the hallways and it's kind of creepy - - the lights blink in the stairways. As soon as you enter the hotel, it has an unpleasant smell (a very strong cherry scent with something else mixed in). The water pressure in the sink was not good. Also, our air conditioner didn't work very good at times. I do like the layout of the room and the bed was very comfortable.

« Nice hotel, lots of eateries close by too »

Stayed one night on our Natchez Trace Drive. Check in was a bit laborious. Room nice and large with separate sitting area, showers was powerful and shower gel was provided, as well as tablet soap. We could walk to at least three restaurants from here. We could hear walking around in the room above but I guess that's the same in most hotels. I'd recommend it and would stay again.

« I would absolutely stay here again »

This hotel is comfortable and clean. The friendly staff was very helpful and skilled and knowledgeable. Also the breakfast is tasty and the beds are comfortable. I would stay here again in an instant and recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

    « An unexpected find! »

On a road trip with my "high-maintenance" sister and I was worried about finding somewhere in MY price range that would suit her. The nice, warm lobby was the first plus. The attendant in both evening and morning were so nice and helpful! For the price, she was Amazed at the room size, quality and comfort! Breakfast was a delicious, sprawling buffet. The pool looked so inviting, but we had to get back on the road. If it impressed my sister, I know YOU will love it!

    « Very nice place »

Very nice place. room was nice, people were nice, food was good, quiet, Fairly easy to get into. Bed was nice but a little to high to get into for my liking. The parking lot is a little small. With that said I would stay there again.

« Nice place to stay »

We stayed three nights with no problems. The room was large with a separate sitting area. The location worked well for us. Must eat at the Frogs Head restaurant next door. Hotel seemed to be a bit under staffed. Will return again.

    « Getting there. »

i encountered a black spider in the bed. Room 101 is not suitable for my needs but ok. usually turn on the news and sit at the desk to do my afternoon work. this room i could not see T.V.. The breakfast items, not tasty. Seems very little effort in quality. This hotel has potential to be great place. Good place for price.

    « Not Worth It »

2nd floor smelled like cigarettes and Marijuana. Area is not the safest either. Half finished light installation in room. Lucky to get fresh towels, no toilet paper. Did not even know how to make a bed. When you decorate and repair cheaply....don't expect quality!

    « Convenient »

Hotel was very convenient to why we were there. Good location. Was not fond of the bed. Mattress was too firm for me. Very Hard. Front desk staff were very nice. In general, would have been a better stay should bed be more comfortable.

    « Try Someplace Else »

Renovation in progress (don't think it will help). No automatic doors (single door--have to hold and try to bring in bell cart, suitcases, or if you are in a wheel chair it is really difficult. This is IF you can get a bell cart. They only have one. There was a dog we could hear all the way down the hall. Breakfast is fair. This is not a well kept Best Western and the choice of places to eat on a Friday night is ridiculous!! Rooms are not cleaned properly.

    « Select another hotel »

This property is undergoing renovations but the entry doors are not in this effort - manual swing out single width door, very difficult for anyone trying to handle suitcases, bell cart, or in a wheel chair. Owners have a sign posted with totally incorrect MS law concerning firearms. Yapping dogs can be heard three rooms away. Only one bell cart. No water pressure. No grab bar in shower. Clean yes, breakfast okay but only two bistro tables plus a bar with high seats [not good for elderly or impaired]

    « Quiet and confortable »

We stayed the night March 18th and really enjoyed our time there. Close to restaurants and the interstate. Did not hear any traffic, staff friendly, and helpful. We had a king suite with sitting room, microwave, and refrigerator. Bed was comfortable. Will stay here again.

« Good place to stay »

The room was very comfortable; my wife needed a firm bed. The bed was VERY comfortable, and the room spacious and well laid out. It was convenient to Clinton, with restaurants close by. It was convenient to allplaces where I had to do business. Easy onn-off to I-20.

    « Nice Hotel »

Great hotel for the money, nicely laid out, good confortable beds, nice television, renovated room with adequate outlets for recharging electronic devices and a good breakfast. Good location provided us with a low level of external noise that might interrupt a good nights sleep. However at 2:30am the fire alarm went off which woke us up and eventually proved to be a false alarm. Also had a problem with the sink not draining and the Microwave was non functioning.

    « So-So »

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times for the following reasons: low prices, good for pets, wireless, complimentary breakfast. Once again, it delivered on all counts. The only problem is that the room felt dirty and unclean. The decor was fine, the bed was excellent, and the tv worked great. The room itself just seemed shabby. Maybe too many pets had spent the night there!

« Great Visit in Clinton »

We found the hotel to be very clean and the service was excellent - all in all a very good hotel. The breakfast was good quality but there were not a lot of options. Our room was large with a sitting area and the bed was new and comfortable.

« No pride of ownership »

Very poor workmanship and property maintenance inside room itself. Fridge and microwave did not work. Tub was cracked and damaged. Walls were chipped and dirty. The lobby seemed okay. Water was hot. Towels were clean. Housekeeping did not refill coffee twice and I had to go to lobby and ask for it both times. This was very disappointing room as the Best Westerns I stay in other places are in much better shape.

« Another mediocre experience with Best Western. »

This was our second stay with Best Western and it will be our last. As we walked into the lobby we were hit with an overwhelming and sickening smell of lavender. It gave me a headache. Once we got in our room, however, it dissipated, thank goodness. Our room was better than our room in the McGehee BW, but there were a few problems. First, the water pressure was low in both the sink and shower, and once again there were only 3 bath towels and they were very scratchy and thin. The heat/air conditioner was hard to get to a comfortable level as well. The bed was comfortable though, and we appreciated having a fairly up to date flat screen TV. A good selection of channels as well. The breakfast was rather skimpy and not well kept up. The person attending didn't keep it stocked when I came down. Yogurt and pastry choices were very limited. Also the breakfast area was difficult to navigate around when there were more than 3 people. The pancake maker was a unique feature. Overall, I am disappointed in this chain and will stick with Comfort Inns from now on.

« hotel is very nice »

I love the new led light on top of the bed also the new floor in the bathroom real nice hotel is very nice and clean hot breakfast is good I really recommend this hotel to friends best western Clinton ms

    « comfortable »

Check in was easy and friendly. The free breakfast was hot and plentiful, and on a weekday stays open until 10:00am. One of the cleanest bestwestern 's I've stayed at, the pool was nice, beds were comfortable and even the parking lot was clean. I would highly recommend hotel. clinton ms

    « Great Sleep »

We were on a 2 week trip and this hotel had the best bed of our whole trip. It was the last day of our trip and after 14 days of different beds, some great, some not so great, this bed was really welcome. They also provided a hot breakfast.

    « Just passing through. »

An older property that's been kept up fairly well, but just had no warmth to it. My room had a strange layout with a sitting room and a bedroom separated by a bathroom. TV was in the bedroom, but no chairs in that room. All lights were modern LEDs that provided a very sterile atmosphere. The parking lot was dimly lit. In the morning, searched for the front desk staff to get a copy of the folio, but never found anyone. Overall, It was OK.

    « Worst BW experience »

Stayed there for only one night. Looks old-fashioned. Not the friendliest stuff. Room was smelling and wasn't clean - especially the bathroom. In fact it was filthy. Worst BW experience I ever made. Would I recommend this hotel? No! Would I stay there again? Of course not!

« always stay here when in clinton »

My daughter goes to Mississippi College. This hotel is only about 2 miles from college. I have stayed at other hotels but this Best Western is my favorite. The rooms are much larger than other hotel rooms. The bed is very comfortable. It has recently been remodeled so it is nice. The rooms are clean. The breakfast has a nice selections also. Check in person is nice and is willing to work with you. As of last year now i always stay at the Best Western in Clinton.

« Choctaw football in Clinton »

The room had comfortable beds as well as a couch with a hide a bed. There was a desk for those who needed it. We were there to enjoy the football game at MS College and enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good with coffee, pancakes, fruit juice, cereal, and muffins available. We will stay again while enjoying Choctaw football!!!

    « A 5 Star Hotel in Clinton, Mississippi !!! »

There may not be crystal chandeliers in the lobby, but when it comes to customer service, cleanliness and accommodations, this hotel is 5 star. I have stayed at Hyatt Regency, Hilton and other high end hotels in various cities such as Atlanta, Birmingham and Baltimore during my 36 year career with a Fortune 500 Company and had never experienced a perfect stay until now. The General Manager Vijay Daya and his staff are very friendly and helpful, the hot continental breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the accommodations were superb. The hotel is Pet Friendly and has both smoking and non-smoking rooms. When traveling the Natchez Trace, do not let this place pass you by. It's a short 5 minute drive from mile 89 on the Trace. A GREAT stay at a GREAT price!! Billy C, Panama City Beach, FL.

    « No no no »

No tv remote in room, AC unit won't work, bed like concrete, bath door won't close, shower curtain stained, chips of paint falling off wall, bath fan makes grinding noises, breakfast room floor so STICKY! I rarely post on Trip Advisor but wanted to warn u all.

    « OK for a travel stop »

We stayed here on a Monday (Labor Day) night and only saw three other guests, one that evening, and two the next morning. The staff person was polite and readily available, but seemed to live in the room behind the front desk and was rarely seen waiting at the front desk. The room was clean, but we did have to unclog the tub drain. The breakfast was satisfactory, but lacking greatly on selections.

    « Best Western Clinton »

Room décor was best of our two-week vacation. We appreciated the suite and the modern décor, plus the planning of the layout. It made our stay much more convenient. Appreciated the entire experience of the room.

« Not the best stay »

The lobby was nice but very small to hang out in. The breakfast area only had 3 small tables to accommodate people for eating and the food was not edible. The milk was spoiled and lumpy, biscuits were rock hard, sausage looked raw. The hotel hallways smelled awful like smoke and mildew and was being masked by fragrant sprays. The desk clerks were never at the front desk and many people left without getting service. The hotel room was nicely decorated and comfortable though.

« BW Ridgeland Inn, Clinton Mississippi »

A beautiful property in a great location. The owners have spared no expense in a complete re-do of the hotel. New furniture, new carpets, new tubs and showers, new tile floors, new beds, beautiful paint (much better paint job than that done in other BW makeovers, where paint is slopped all over the place.) Theater complex in back of the hotel. Restaurants in easy, easy walking distance, including a crappy Applebees right next door. To all our readers, we recommend this hotel wholeheartedly and with no reservations.
