Dirty Hotel, lousy location & management is absolutely not bothered. Cheating customers in the name of Best Western. Poor Hygiene. AC doesn't work anywhere in the Hotel. They sell cheap and locally made Beer

This is a very nice hotel. Right on the Highway after Zirakpur flyover. The overall ambiance of the hotel is great. I booked a family suite for my family. The room had great space for all of us. All tidy and clean. The dine in expereince too was great and we enjoyed staying here. Good staff and good food makes it outstanding hotel.

The Hotel is in a very nice location and has good area that it can utilise. At the time of my stay in Oct 2023 my observations are: the paint in the room was chipping off and the carpet was discoloured. The bedsheets need to change after periodic intervals. The rooftop pool is nice but the gym was very rudimentary. It has a very good potential if these issues are addressed.

We went to this hotel for the first time, but the services of the hotel was pathetic. The linen was so dirty & stained, seems like they did not even changed it after the check out of the previous guest. we complained at the front desk, for which they took 15 minutes to respond and after that the so called manager came & smiled and simply ignored what we were saying. This shows that its there regular practices. However the linen was changed, but still the bed sheet was having stain of ink and was also torned. They are only using Brand name but services and staff is like a 1 Star Hotel.

Pillows were the hardest, requested for a softer one and waited & waited. Loud music from a wedding next door all night. Same booking with two rooms and got them on opposite side of the floor. The hotel is also on a busy highway and so traffic noise adding to the above ruined my sleep and my holiday the next day.

I stayed with my friend in best western Zirakpur. My overall experience is very good . Front desk to all departments are really nice employees. Food and hospitality is excellent. Specially pooja ranjit zaid santosh. I advise this hotel for stay. Apporch is quite easy and in good location. Good god blesss all of them

I am not happy particularly with portion size at dinner time particularly if you opt for MAP plan and it's not Buffet . They serve intentionally low quantity. If you are not bold enough to ask them twice or thrice you will remain hungry.

Wonderful stay experience with this property. Room was good love the food. All the services were good specially the h.k boy mr. amit he was taking care of each request and all the service he gave on time and the cleaning done by him was really good upto the 5star property. Staff was good skilled and well mannered and know how to handle the guest. Will come back soon....

It was good experience staying in Best Western Hotel Maryland. Nice hotel, nice staff. Comfortable rooms with wifi and TV facilities. Hygiene was maintained as per our satisfaction. Food quality was also good.

i stayed for two nights first night in new building second night in old building second night was much better then first night of stay so hotel has two buildings one across the service lane operate by same name please ensure you book the one which is visible foe main road just behind petrol pump becuase other other building is real disaster my review is about rear hotel becuase it was avoidable experience rooms was okay , their top floor restaurant was bad buffet had only 3-4 dishes and that too way below average best thing was plain bread with butter which i applied my self out of 4 staff deployed to manage this 20 seater make shift dining room was busy watching TV they were least bother to attend guest , i had to stay for second night as no rooms available in close by hotel but this stay was better food is way better but not the worth the price paid staff was nice and attentive

I have been visiting this Hotel for last 8 years. The USP of this hotel is its location on the Delhi - Chandigarh Highway. The staff is courteous and the hotel is spic and span. Special mention for Ravi Kumar, Kamal Kumar and Gurpreet for their warm hospitality and taking minute care of us.

Only to add some more varieties in breakfast not to be limited to 3-4 items only. Rest everything perfect. Rooms are very well maintained, location also very good, staff also very friendly and cooperative

Mr. Pankaj on the front desk is one of the most pathetic person I have ever seen in my life. He reaches out to people and tell them to pay in cash, doesn't know how to use card machine, Gives room at an huge increased price, takes out advantage of compulsion.. worst experience

An excellent hotel, rooms are clean,beds are comfortable and toilet is good too, as i always stay in Zirakpur on my way to himachal mountains this one came as a good surprise. Staff was extremely helpful and breakfast had a good variety. Spa is great too.

Overall experience is very good but the price a bit higher. We (me and my wife) stay for one night and they charges 3500/- including breakfast. It was not that worthy, it should be in the range of 2800-3200. Also the frint desk employee could be more friendly.

Staying here after almost 4 years, the improvements in service and hygiene surprised me! Another nice thing to know is they have one more maryland (albeit not tied up with Best Western) . The suite room is elegant and spacious. The room service is prompt and food is excellent. Breakfast spread was good too. The hotel is close to highway but our suite room in 3rd floor was sound proof. The staff is courteous and helpful One suggestion is to provide RO water in flasks, as used bottle refilled have hygiene and safety concerns during pandemic.

very disappointed with the response of managememt. No one came to meet when asked GM to take the feedback, it seems he was very busy where he could not get 5minutes to take the feedback. from checkin we were disappointed unhygienic rooms, no sanitisation at checkin, no mask on request, amenities very limited in room, flask broken, dirty water flask was smelling, lizard in room, housekeeping so poor, breakfast average, unhygienic restaurant, the biggest fault I noticed is lack of training. Manager sitting on top should look into. Food & snacks which we consumed first day of checkin did not cleared by hk till checkout, was updated to DM I would never stay again even I don't recommend this hotel to my connections. no positive approach from management after complaint too.

Got an opportunity to stay here for 02 nights / 03 days on a business trip with my friend. Found everything immaculate with reasonable prices. So we had a family get together and as an option being close to home I went ahead and reached out to this hotel for assistance. Was greeted by Mr. Ankit, he was really helpful and assisted thoroughly, gave plenty of options for seating and menu wise. The prices were really reasonable. While searching for hotels, Zirakpur belt is full of options, and you night be spoilt for choices. However, if you are looking a value for money hotel for family, this might be your answer. It is located right on the main road of Zirakpur, among the bustling market of the city. The staff is courteous, the facilities more than sufficient and the rooms quite spacious not to make you claustrophobic. There is even a centre table and study tabel in the rooms to people who prefer sitting more than lying on bed. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, only a little over-average pricing and no good view from the windows scrapping the one star from its reviews!

We checked in on 23 Dec 2020, booked 2 rooms. They upgraded 1 room to a suite, that was nice of them. Here are my 2 cents, hope it helps other people and hotel management to improve: Good things: - Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Issues: - There were cockroaches in our rooms and we intimated the staff, they just said sorry. They should thoroughly get the pesticide done. - One of us got neck sprain, we asked for moov or any other painkiller gel/spary. - They said they have it in their 1st aid box and will get it immediately but after making 6 calls, they delivered in 40 mins. - Room service was super slow. - Breakfast buffet tasted good but limited items. - Nobody was following social distancing during the breakfast buffet and there were no effort from hotel staff to get that implement that.

Hotel is good but car parking is the major problem.2ndly not a single hotel boy was available for luggage carrying to room .3rd After reaching room not a single person asked for any issues.4th Room ac was not cooling properly .5th Room Refrigerator was not working and the product were in hot conditions.

We have checked in on 21st November,2020 and checked out early morning on 22nd November, as we have a flight to catch. Room was clean and spacious enough for 3 person. There was electric kettle in our room which was needed for my mother in the morning. Staffs were courteous. Restaurant was at ground floor. Food was good. Just that night (around or after 11pm) may be there was some wedding function going on, so people were chatting with each other and it was loud. But we were tired and had a morning flight so we get back to sleep. Overall nice stay :)

I was on business tour, Hotel rooms were clean and staff were helpful.Located in prime place. Restaurant food prices were very high. I preferred eating out side. Hotel management should focus on food prices.

I came here for a conference meeting and our stay was also arranged in the Hotel. The rooms are very spacious and have very good ambience. The staff is very caring and helpful. Centrally located hotel wherein staffs were friendly and supportive. In House dining -- the rates on ala-cart menu was high and I beleive not on market standards. I would recommend better to step out and grab some nice food and explore better restaurant in less price.

It's like a lodge feeling. Too much disturbance due to highway and adjoin petrol pump in the property. Personally not preferred anyone. It's not a star category. Rooms are stinky. Wardrobe is not gud. No space for for your clothes in wardrobe.

Stayed in this hotel for four days with group of 20 friends. Central location of this hotel goes well with delicious food and commendable hospitality. Very nice property in Zirakpur offering large spacious rooms . Hotel offers delicious king size buffet breakfast and offers 24 hour room service. Laundry service was quite economical compared to similar properties. However, entrance to the property takes away the charm of the place. Entry is from the back through a by lane , and the property gets covered by Petrol Pump.

The hotel is located well, however, the desk staff is non-cooperative. The rooms are good with clean bathroom. The food is pretty average and highly priced. The dinner buffet doesn't have many options which hotel of such repute should have. Its better to have food outside. Special mention that the porters & junior staff are really nice & helpful but front desk staff is pathetic.

I with my family stayed this hotel on 14th May, 2019. Below are the experience - Rude and unprofessional management. - The hotel have poor quality towel and facilities. See the photos attached. - The hotel does not have good list of menu in the restaurant and also not allowed outside food into the hotel so if you get tired and wants to have lunch/dinner then you only can order from their very expensive restaurant menu. My kid wanted to have Idli but they do not serve Idli in the evening/dinner and also denied to allowed outside packed food in the room. This forces us to get out from hotel even though we are tired from long journey. when speak to manager he was very rude and simply deny and didn't wanted to hear anything. Is this the hospitality of the hotel ? - Hotel also selling MRP products on higher prices which is a complete violation of consumer act. Please see the photos. I do not recommend anyone this hotel as it is pathetic, rude management and limited restaurant facilities, dirty room, towels and other pathetic facilities.

I liked the location of the hotel. Parking is available. Bus stand is nearby. Very clean rooms. Linen was clean. Staff was very humble and courteous. Food was very good i liked the varieties of food items placed in buffet breakfast.

We stayed in this hotel for a night halt on the way to Manali. It's a good hotel with nice lobby, specious rooms, clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. We reached very late but check in was smooth and we also got a nice dinner at their restaurant. We could sleep well. It was a much needed comfort after a long tiring journey of 14 hours. The service was good. We had left few clothes in the cupboard by mistake but they promptly brought those to us just before we left. They also upgraded one of our rooms to fit the extra bed. The location is good. It is right on the commercial street with all the big showrooms and still there was no issue of noise. Secured Parking is available. Overall it's a good option.

Ideally located - 20 minutes drive from the airport..it is at the junction to Chandigarh city, Ambala, or if you are driving to Pathankot. Dining options in the neighborhood are not 5 star.. Chandigarh's famous shopping malls are 20 minutes away...Well appointed rooms, crisp clean linen, efficient, quiet air conditioning. Clean bath high pressure hot shower jets. The restaurant offers Indian, chinese cuisine. The breakfast spread was good with local, south indian and continental fare. There's a roof top bar should you enjoy the warm summer nights. Services of a travel desk to organize your trips can be availed with the promise of well maintained and good courteous drivers. (Chandigarh and Punjab have a great network of highways, but traffic discipline - as with rest of India is sadly lacking. SO, beware when hiring a car and night driving is not recommended.) Hotel's Overall service is excellent! An enthusiastic team, eager to please. I have patronized Best Western Maryland for 5 years now...You truly feel their welcoming spirit!

Was expecting a much more luxurious place for the price we paid, but came to realize that the other star hotels in this city are exorbitant and this was actually ok. Rooms were ok. Views not great. Parking is very less. The hotel is located clubbed with a petrol bunk. Hot water was through solar so took nearly 10 minutes and wastage of many litres of water before we actually got hot water. The buffet breakfast was delicious though.

Booking Purpose I booked this hotel as a pit stop enroute higher altitude at Himalayas. Location The hotel is behind an Indian oil Petrol pump and thus first impression is a bit diluted for a 4 star property.I can imagine the plight of someone opening the room curtain and being greeted with scenery of fuel filling in Cars whole day. Check-in We reached the hotel around 2pm and it took then around 20 mins to allocate us a room.The service manager didn't serve any welcome drinks or displayed gesture of upgrading the room or even apology for the check in delay. Hotel Guests/Crowd Hotel crowd were mostly corporate travellers along with usual crowd catered by ‘couple friendly' hotels. Room The room including washrooms were clean but again room decor is very basic and toiletries came packed in nano sized bottles. Service quality The usual ritual of Wi-Fi not working followed by failure of AC.There was a plant failure and we were left boiling for two hours.The hotel manager didn't even respond for 30 mins and came into action after complaint to MakeMyTrip.The washroom exhaust also didn't work during entire duration of the stay. The service manager was indeed offended by the complain and spoke in a contempt tone. However, the quality of housekeeping was exceptionally good. Parking Parking is another issue with hotel having space only for 5-6 cars, rest of the cars are parked either at the Petrol pump or some nearby park.The security and safety of the vehicle remains doubtful. Sleep quality The hotel also has a banquet Hall at top floor and my room was noisy at night with the blaring DJ speakers at some event.You might get lucky to sleep Well if there is no event at Hotel. Food The only good part about hotel was their buffet breakfast which had ample variety coupled with attentive service.However, i would strongly advise to book this hotel without any meal plan as there are some amazing restaurants like ‘gourmet nine' in the vicinity. Overall My overall recommendation will be to treat this property as a 3 star hotel along side the same room-rent bracket.

This was a stopover during a long tour of the area. The rooms were lovely to relax in, the staff helpful and friendly and the food was good, plenty of variety and tasty and fresh. Spacious, clean rooms and an efficient check-in process. A good choice for the middle of a long journey.

Maryland is a quite good hotel, everything was great but aside hotel there was a banquet so sometimes visitor can face some noise issue. Another thing is food, Quality of food is good but its quite expensive so i don't recommend expensive food to anyone because in walk in you can get various food option.

We stayed at the Hotel to attend the weeding event . At the night when we reach there at the room, there was foul smell coming from the room. Probably the sewer tap got bust. It took them 45 min to allot new room at 1 am at the night. Very bad experience. Wont recommend for there cleanliness and prompt action to the situation

i booked this hotel and due to some reason couldnt check in and after that i received call from one of the employee of the hotel and he was rude to me which was unprofessional behaviour. the guy talked so rudely and his behaviour was so arrogant which is not tolerable in professional life.. i think staff or any person which is associated with hotel should be polite with the customer weather customer is staying or not.

The hotel was visited by me on 2.1.19 to 3.1.19. The feel of my stay was very comfortable. All duty staff and Mangers were well dressed and well behaved . Best Western Maryland is located in Zirakpur, faced problems finding the hotel. I had booked executive room through makemytrip, but they upgraded us to a suite room. Rooms were absolutely amazing, well equipped. The dining menu is overpriced. The rooms were spacious and staff was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Overall had an amazing experience.

Ordered a glass of milk. They charged me for hot chocolate coz they did not have any category of plain milk. Almost ₹200 for a glass of plain hot milk. Extremely silly. Not worth it for such a hotel...

After our road trip to Himachal, we stayed a night at this hotel before we caught the flight to Bangalore the next day. Decent hotel, good location, decent breakfast and nice room. The staff could have been a little more courteous. The front desk guys never had a smile on their face, something we are very used to. We had a few bags and none of the staff was there even to help to unload from our car. We prefer carrying our own bags but as courtesy expected some helping hand as we were tired after our journey. Nothing much to talk about.

I had a lovely experience at Bestwestern Maryland, Zirakpur. The staff in particular are very endearing. The Reception Desk and the Front Office management is particulary supportive. It gives me a feeling that I need to get back time and again to get the real feel of genuine hospitality.

The stay was quite satisfactory but the quality of food need to be enhanced. We were quite disappointed with the dinner though the breakfast buffet was good. We stayed in a suit room, room was clean and had an overall pleasant stay. The hotel is quite recommendable.

Stayed here for a night on my travel to Chandigarh last month. It is situated on the Chandigarh - Ambala highway - a decent location if you have to move towards Ambala or New Delhi. The rooms are big and comfortable with all basic requirements for a business traveler. Ordered for room service and the food taste was awesome. I had ordered for a Chicken Thali which was decently priced at 400 and had enough and more food for one person. Breakfast spread was decent and the staff at the restaurant were super attentive to the requirement of any guest. There were things reaching my table even before I could ask for it. Loved the service!!! A few things which can improve: 1. I did not find a dental kit or a comb in the washroom - basics as I would state for a hotel of this kind. I presume this was missed by the housekeeping staff while preparing the room. 2. Parking at the hotel could be a little bit of a pain as the hotel entry is through a petrol pump and the entry space is very limited However, overall a satisfying experience and would love to visit again when in Chandigarh on business travel.

Overall it was a nice experience to be there. It is a good hotel with spacious rooms and good outer view. However kitchen services were not so good. So suggest to get food from anywhere. Breakfast was also a bit okie

The hotel claims to be a four-star property but it is not. We were around for a two-night stay on different days at the hotel. The hotel claims to be a part of the international chain but the services lack the professionalism. The manager Mr. Sachin is accommodating but at times too stringent on bookings front and unwilling to understand the scenario which the guests face too. We were asked to park the motorcycle outside the premises initially as the hotel has a limited parking setup. it was only after they saw the motorcycles and then brand they were dealing with we were given one of the corners to park them. Nevertheless, the staff is an average who is unsure of who they are connecting with and what can they offer. In spite of all the details already with them, the receptionist did ask for the IDs even after knowing the kind of journey the guests had done. The formality could have waited for a bit and they would have allowed the guest to settle down first. A common sense but I guess for them rule comes first, even if they know who all they are. All in all a very average experience. Best avoided over something better. Would never recommend or visit the hotel again.

Its clean and well placed with nice furniture Staff and Service: . Restaurant staff is Reasonably prompt. Hospitable , Pleasant and helpful staff took great care and was available for service with smile past midnight also. Food: Lavishing breakfast buffet with lots of variety, overall its GOOD. The only negative about this hotel is that it is behind a petrol pump on the approach of the hotel is a little disappointing. so one feels kind of unsafe Overall good experience i would surely recommend this property , and would surely book again on my next visit.

I had an excellent stay 2 night in this hotel.room was specious with modern design spotless clean. Staff were very nice, helpful and welcoming and helped me carry my luggage in to the room. I loved the quiet location away from all the noisy busy streets of Zirakpur.room service was very fast and all guys are friendly specially Mr- Pankaj (captain) he had ask me how is our snacks,food itc. It's not compulsory but I think it's best idea for any guest attractions purpose. I was very happy during my stay Because every guest wants to best service.. Overall the interiors of the hotel was good. Housekeeping services were good. Worst part was loud noise of motor which they operate during entire night. I was not able to sleep the whole night because of this. Although they stopped it after complaining but again they started early morning. So overall they screwed up my sleep that night. There was no bellboy to carry luggage to the cab. They upgraded my room which was really worth it.

Room = Executive room: Spacious room with attached bath, hot and cold water, towel, toiletries, fridge and minibar and arrangement for tea and coffee. Extra cot available for the third person. Translucent glass wall separating the toilet from the room which can be a bit embarrassing if you are traveling with family -- ok for singles and couples. Having said that, the staff pasted newspapers on the glass wall on request. I would suggest a curtain on the bathroom side of the glass wall to make it more private. Service: Good. Reasonably prompt. Pleasant and helpful housekeeping, room service and restaurant staff. Reception staff need to be a bit more welcoming and smiling. Food: Good, but not great. A bit short on the Continental options when it came to breakfast but overall ok. Overall: Good hotel for overnight stay for singles or couples on business trip traveling through Chandigarh Airport. Not recommended for families

We rested here on way to Delhi from Manali..it is very nice hotel and at a very economical price and located just 20mins away from airport. Food is also good. Room size is also big and bathroom is neat and clean. Overall a pleasant stay here.

It is really awesome hotel. We stayed their for one night while travelling from Manali to Delhi. We reached late night and the staff was very helpful to extend the dinner time by an hour. Plus looked personally to our requirements while having (late night) dinner, as well as next morning when we were having (early) breakfast. (for eg- the FnB personnel got us fresh and hot Puri (batora) since the one on buffet became little cold ) Kudos to the team.. Keep it up.

Hotel is true to its name and standard.Stay here for business conference.Its right on highway.Rooms are good,Spacious and hygienic.There are so many eating joints near by if you want to eat outside.Big bazaar is just a kilometer away.Great standards maintained by them.On request they arranged for stay for driver also.Highly recommended.

This is an amazing feature which no other hotel offers you. Unfortunately, the hotel management doesn't promote this great feature on their website of even on other websites such tripadvisor or makemytrip. Modesty, thy name is Best Western Maryland. This was my second stay at this hotel. My first stay around 3 years back (Dec. 2015) was a dull experience, coz there was no DJ then. Yet I decided to give it another chance and boy, did they respond with a bang! So if you wanna listen to peppy Punjabi songs the whole night on a loud DJ, absolutely free of cost, this is the place for you. Hotel staff is so helpful, in this regard that, knowing your urge to listen to good music, in the middle of the night, they don't bother to call police & even if they dared to call the police, Punjab police is such a nice bunch of people, they also know that you don't want to be disturbed while listening to your free dose of high voltage music, so they never turn up!! So this hotel is highly recommended to anybody wanting to enjoy high voltage music in the middle of night from their cozy rooms!!!

The property is amazing in terms of check in experience, room service experience, in room dining experience, staff courtesy & politeness. The checkin did not take me more than a minute, the staff was efficient , soft spoken and courteous. The in room dining experience was amazing. The order was served within 10 mins of ordering on both days that I stayed there. Coincidentally was served by Naveen on both days who was extremely polite and prompt. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. The amenities in the room are of high quality. Overall a wonderful and pleasant stay. Keep it up.

Our office is in Zirakpur hence we travel almost twice every month. Usually we stay at Hotel Medallion (now Hotel Six). Could not get reservation this time around hence booked in to Best Western. I must say everything except name was disappointing. No proper car parking. Rooms are good but AC was not working. There was no ventilation in room. Breakfast was okay. Staff is non-caring.

Location Those like me who are travelling to Chandigarh for yeah first time. Zirakpur is good 10-12 kms from central Chandigarh. However all the major hotels are located in and around best western. Hotel Rooms were clean and good. Service was prompt. Breakfast and Dinner spread was good and tasty.

It was a good stay. The hotel was good according to price rooms were clean and a good breakfast. Overall good for family stay but the gym equipment was not fully functional. Also the staff was friendly and the hotel was close to elante mall nearly 10-15 minutes drive.

First the negative part- It is a bit far from main Chandigarh city.From railway station you might have to pay INR250-300 to reach the hotel. However,the hotel offers decent spacious room,with free-wifi.I would suggest to book the hotel with breakfast included.They serve a good breakfast buffet.We have tried the dinner too from here and turned out to be good. The staff were courteous.If you have to move around the city suggest to avoid the hotel taxi because those are highly expensive compared to outside taxies.

Located far from city centre but overall a good hotel. Commute from hotel to Chandigarh city centre is atleast half hour. Clean rooms and professional staff. Rooms at back of hotel should be requested add they are quiet.

I was here on a business trip for three nights accompanied by my wife. Once we checked in, we realised there was some foul smell inside the room. We requested the manager to change the room but there were none available. So they upgraded us to the Suite room. The room was huge with lovely interiors. The breakfast was decent but it was almost the same on all days. The service guys were quick and efficient. We enjoyed our stay!

liked the hotel a lot, we were a group 0f 15 family members in 6 rooms the hotel rooms were spacious , 3rd floor, the toiletries were adequate and well thought of the hotel had a Spa, which i did not go to, but have a feeling it would be good It has a roof top , which they can organise a dinner on request the service and special request were well taken care of, my daughter had a bad stomach ache and had requested for a Hot Water Rubber Bag, and they gave one promptly. I was very pleasantly surprised The landmark is easy, it is within the premises of the Indian Oil Gas Station, it is also opposite the Metro Cash and Carry Store Close to Best Price- Walmart I would definitely recommend this hotel for the decently priced hotel and good facilities

Ambiance: Petrol pump at entrance and Zirakpur Bridge.Entry from back side ,Lobby is average size with modern decor.Stayed in suite and was open plan,spacious ,luxurious with all amenities.it was facing highway, perfect sound insulation kept all noise outside.Bath room :Size good with bath tub and good linen.shower pressure was ok .Slow drainage rate was noticed while taking shower. Dinner and breakfast in Restaurant was of good quality with slightly average buffet spread.Overall a good value for money stay.Only issue is petrol pump in same premises and distance from chandigrah otherwise kind of good stay option.

I stayed at this hotel in chandigarh to attend a friend's wedding. All thanks to my friend for booking this place for me. Well I had a comfortable stay there, the size of the room is good and the beds are quite comfortable. The bathroom is a little packed and we had trouble going in and out. Although there are so many light options in the room but still even if u switch on all of them, u wont get a good amount of light. I found them too dim to do any minute work. It would have been great if they would have provided atleast one bright light which can be used if required by the guest. The breakfast buffet had limited options but they tasted good so no issues with that. Only thing I noticed was that although the timing for the same was till 11am but the staff started clearing the place from 10:45am only which made us get things directly from the kitchen after a long wait, although we were having our breakfast from 10:30am, they didn't feel the need to serve us atleast till 11am, which was quite weird.

The Hotel is in Zirakpur slightly away from Main city. The room was very spacious with all amenities. I got the booking at very reasonable rate and it proved to be value for money. Breakfast was reasonable and food preparation was excellent with north Indian taste. It is good for both Family and Business stay. If you have conveyance then it is better.

I had stayed with my colleague in whose name the booking was made from 4 Mar to 5 Mar through makemytrip and were allotted Room No 403 & 408. On check-in we noticed strong smell of cigarette smoke/smell in Room 408 and were moved to 409 AC of which was not working & Toilet door was not closing - then to 402 which had fungus with strong moist smell - then finally to Room No 502 - 4th shift of room for 1 night stay! It was not expected from Best Western to give rooms which are not to the mark, there was no guilt noticed when we pointed out and sought room change. The area near the lift was occupied by extra mattresses/beds causing hindrance to movement. Also the linen was neither fresh nor was of good quality. The house keeping seems to be totally non-functional in this property. This property appears to be operating on franchise model and if parent organization wants to stand by its reputation then they need to take strong look at it. The only plus point was good quality food served at the restaurant. We travel to Chandigarh very often and usually stay at different property which was fully occupied this time as such booked at Best Western Maryland. We will certainly think twice before staying at this place again though would have preferred as it is at a convenient location for our work.

The hotel has bit downsides though like not proper parking, staff less knowledgeable and poor wifi connectivity. But the price at which hotel offers, it is worth the stay away from hustle bustle of chandigarh still being just 10 mins away from chandigarh!

Very good hotel for airport transit stay and as well easy to board volvo buses from Delhi to Manali. MAP was a good choice with both breakfast and dinner having a decent spread. Take a Uber or Ola to reach the hotel from the airport.

i visit there with my friend , when i saw this hotel from highway i disappointed coz its behind a filling station ,same premises but the entrance is back side of gas station... a well cleaned budget stay . rooms spacious and washrooms clean and good...........we book include Dinner and breakfast .....A la carte menu b ut its nice preparation and breakfast with indian dishes quite well...........I recomment if you want good budget stay near chandigarh.....and many food outlets near hotel is positive point......Staff friendly ......one problem in every Indian Hotel , when you with your friend ...all watch you unnecessarily even staff also..........this happen in every hotel in India. overall excellent stay

We stayed at this hotel for a night as a bunch of friends including couples. The hotel is a good budget place with more than a generous size of rooms and free wifi (though it keeps disconnecting). The amenities are nice and Mini bar was quite well stocked. Unlike many similarly priced hotels in the vicinity, this hotel does not only switch on the water boiler in the morning, which means you get hot water throughout which is a must for me in determining if the hotel wants to cut corners or wants to provide a good service to it's guests. Only proper negative I saw was that in my room and a friend's (306 and 307), for some weird reason you could smell mild urine odor in both these bathrooms even though everything looked like it had been well cleaned and mopped. I hope it was a one off because otherwise this hotel offers great value for money and if I stay here again (which I intend to) and I notice the washroom also clean and without any odor, I wouldn't have any hesitation bumping the rating to a 5

I I already stayed in Best Western group of hotel and they had set up the some standards. I was expecting similar things over here. I booked a hotel through #Goibibo and got decent discount inclusive of Buffet breakfast and Dinner. In Dinner not much variety. I felt it was average hotel according to their actual charges.

Stayed for 2 nights. Premium room is very spacious, we had 2 kids but no problem with space in room. Staff is very courteous and welcoming. Good spread for breakfast but only vegetarian options. Location is very ideal , just 5 min drive and u r in Chandigarh. House keeping excellent , kids made a lot of mess but room made up very nicely when ever we returned. 24 hour room service, rates are also not very high. Awesome hotel, great rooms, great ambiance.. good service.. but worst part is the location. Really loved the stay there, hope that the area around this develops soon to make the location even more fun to be at..

The Best Western Maryland in Zirakpur is a well appointed modern hotel with good sized and well furnished rooms. The hotel has a good restaurant with a range of European and local cuisine available, a basic but complete fitness centre, and very friendly and helpful staff.

BEST WESTERN Maryland is really good Hotel to stay... Their staff members are also very good. Keep in mind that location of this hotel is away from Chandigarh Middle City Area. Food was not that good at the Hotel so I would rather have my Lunch or Dinner outside somewhere in Chandigarh. But stay was absolutely Good.

The room provided was clean and in perfect condition. Prompt room services provided. Good breakfast. Staff was courteous. This hotel is located on Chandigarh Ambala highway in Zirakpur (outskirts of Chandigarh). Overall a good hotel to stay in.

Today on 28th late evening we checked in and we ordered food and it was surprising that there was an hair in the food and we complain and we spoke to the duty manager and he was so cool and didn't took serious and name of the person was Avinash and he asked us if you need anything else then pls do let us know. Sorry Mr Avinash we are with our kids at you hotel and we cannot afford that our kids will have food like this.

This is very Good hotel in reasonable price. I must say this is one of the best hotels in Zirakpur in 4 star category. Staff is also very good and polite. Food is also very good. Room service too good.

The location of the hotel is just too good...The room was very spacious, clean and well maintained...Our room was of premium category...Breakfast was also very nice...Overall an excellent value for money hotel...A must recommended place to stay in Zirakpur...

We just visited Best Western Maryland, Chandigarh when we came back from Manali and stayed here for 1 night. Our booking was MAP basis so we got Dinner and Breakfast. This hotel's rooms are nice but bathroom are very small and congested. The Restaurant staff are not ready to give any kind of Service as they know that we have paid full amount by web booking so they are very slow and also the food quality is below the expectations. The restaurant are badly smelled and In Lobby area Insect and mosquito turns around us. The check in procedure also not welcoming us. Reception person is very busy in phone calls and he finished all check in formalities during his phone calls. This hotel is charging high amount for MAP plans and as per my opinion, it is not worth.

Best western Maryland at Zirakpur is one of the best hotel for business travellers at Chandigarh. This hotel is just 5-10 mins drive for airport. Rooms are big and cleaned. Wash rooms are cleaned and meets requirement. Breakfast is good and has lots of option. Menu fir food is good and service is reasonably quick. Only disadvantage is that it's on Chandigarh Ambala highway and lots on noise present all the time. Value for money and most continently located.

I stayed in this fabulous hotel in September 2015. entire staff of hotel was so helpful and courteous. Room given me was very comfortable with all modern amenities. food was awesome. I would like to recommended this hotel to all who ever is visiting Chandigarh. Thank you to Mr. Tek Chand for making my stay memorable.

As we checked in we were allotted our rooms but nobody comes to escort our rooms. As they knew it was my birthday they upgraded my room to suite and given a complimentary cake for my birthday. Dinner buffet is nice but lesser varieties also the breakfast. But I don't like the rudely behaviour of Mr. Vivek as he counted for free upgradion of room.

I stayed in the hotel for two days. The hotel was pathetic. You can find a weird smell all over the place. There is no proper ventilation in the rooms. The room service was pathetic and I had to wake up early in the morning bcoz someone was trying to open the room for cleaning. Weird! at morning 6. There is no courteous in the staff. This is one place you need to avoid. Trust me. Check the way the cleaniless of the hotel once you enter at your risk. This is genuinely a pathetic place to stay. It looks a guys hostel atmosphere.

Very Good stay. courteous staff, timely service, clean everything, a grand establishment, good restaurant (Costly though)..Off the city of chandigarh, but does not hurt if you have a car. Nice buffett b'fast.

I didn't expect such a budget hotel from brand like best Western ROOM AC IS NOT WORKING, PARKING IS NOT ADEQUATE, NO valet parking, in total very bad hotel, location is not good, rooms are just OK, no hotel branded soap,

After a tiresome journey from Manali to Chandigarh, Best Western Maryland was a bliss. It's located on main Chandigarh-Ambala highway and easy to find it. The formalities took bit of our time but coziness of the bed made up for it. Bathrooms are equipped with Jacuzzi, shower, hairdryer and other amenities. Dinner and breakfast was well served. We ate heartily.

A clean 3 star hotel with good service. Location is not convenient Rooms are good, bathrooms are clean, toiletries are just adequate. Bath towels were not upto the mark. Breakfast was definitely not upto the mark, sandwiches were a little stale as was the fresh cut fruit, egg counter was good. Service was quick and good. Staff was courteous and helpful. For the value that they charged I'd say it was a Good deal. Wifi was dead slow.

Staff is helpful but need improvement.Rooms are spacious and clean. Ambience is good. Location is average but close to airport.BIt far from chandigarh city if you have to travel in city. Food was okay but service is poor an neeed improvement.
