Group of men openly discussing selling drugs at the front of hotel when we arrived, later we could hear a loud argument from there. Inside the hotel was clean and comfortable, staff were fine. Had a young child with me and was just uncomfortable

We visit NH every weekend from the spring thru the fall. We are seasonal campers and enjoy the area. We cannot stay at our place until a week before Memorial Day. Staying at the BW was the perfect place to stay while opening up

Stayed to attend a concert in town. Very nice that there was no extra charge for parking. The staff was very friendly. Room was very nice chatting comfortable, and with a great view of the river and town. Short walk to the theater. Did not receive the extra pillows requested in online check in and Breakfast food could use some help. Overall very nice.

We stayed for one night because we went to a concert up the street. The parking lot seemed a bit unsafe. I am in NH a lot and usually not concerned. There were people hanging around outside the hotel that looked a bit sketchy. The room was fine. Breakfast was ok. Milk for my cereal tasted sour. For one night, this place was fine. I would not want to spend more than one night there.

We traveled with three people in our party and were charged for three people in our party, but our room and such was only set up for 2. For $150 a night, it could've been a much nicer kept hotel. We were never told how to access the WiFi, in room coffee pot was dirty and only had enough stuff to make coffee for two people, not three. Fitness center and pool were closed for renovations. Just could've been a nicer stay.

This hotel was very clean, modern, and well kept. The staff here was very friendly and inviting. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, it was well stocked with a variety of options. The location was also perfect for us. It was a minute walk to our concert venue.

We stayed here this past weekend (last weekend of Winter break) and it was an ok stay. Everyone was friendly and the beds were comfortable. We had a nice view from the 5th floor. I am not sure if I would stay here again though. First of all, we paid $184 per night and I was not impressed for the price we paid - $368 for both nights). I used my CC to book the room. When I went to check in, they said I had to run my card again to pay for the room since all my "booking" was just to hold it. Since I was close to my limit, I had to use checkcard. This took from our fun money which decreased what we could do while we were there for the day (were traveling on a very tight budget). The bathrooms are small (tight for more than 1 person to be in there at a time). Breakfast was good. They had a nice selection of food and it was free! We paid for 1 night what I feel we should have paid for both. Not a bad place to stay if there are no other choices with Queen size beds. Walls are thin - I could hear kids in the next room but did not complain since I had young kids once.

Booked this Hotel a night early, we tried to head to NH before a Snow Storm.. Nice place, great views! King size bed was awesome! Extremely comfortable... Nice walk in shower, mini fridge. Only downfalls, were shower could have been cleaned better, misc hairs and substance on the walls, and the tv was Not HD, The mini fridge wasn't very cold.

I have stayed at The Landmark, Best Western Inn for the past three days, to save on travel from Conway, NH to Belmont NH. Hands down. The service has been amazing. The rooms are super comfortable. The staff is super friendly. Everything you need is right at your finger tips. The shower is exceptionally large. There is also a Walgreens sharing the same parking lot. Which has also become handy, if anything is needed extra. Their Continental breakfast is spectacular. Home fries and their waffles are my favorite. The prices of the rooms are out of this world super awesome. I wouldn't stay any other hotel in Laconia. You guys rock. Thanks for all your wonderful hospitality

We generally enjoyed our stay, but the man at the front desk was awful on the day we checked out. He was nowhere to be seen when I wanted to ask sbout the fitness room. I had to go back to my room and call the front desk to get him. There was no signage that the fitness room was closed (the sign on the door just limited it to two people at a time), but the door was locked. He confirmed that the room was closed and told me, "Just walk in the hallway and be fit." Shortly after that, my husband and another guest had to work hard to get the man's attention as he wouldn't get off his cellphone to do actually work. The pool was supposed to be open by 7am, but my husband had to practically drag the man to open the pool door at 9am (while the man remained on his cellphone). The woman who checked us in/out was friendly and helpful. The man was still on his cellphone when we checked out.

I must convey to you the level of dissatisfaction my wife and I have regarding our stay at this hotel. Arrived shortly after 3PM however there was nobody at the front desk. Another waiting couple tried calling the hotel to get someone to check us in however the call went to the unoccupied front desk with no answer. My wife and I (she in physically handicapped) looked up and down the halls trying to find someone who worked at the hotel without success. Waited 22 mins before someone came to the front desk to check in a lobby full of frustrated travelers. The room was comfortable with the exception of the pubic hair on the shower floor and in spite of the request for a handicap room, I was told that I never asked for one. WRONG Went to the complementary breakfast the next morning and was, at this point, not surprised to see that the hot food (eggs, bacon & home fries) were empty and the was nobody refilling them. Settled for a breakfast cookie and packed up to leave. Was going to stop at the front desk to may my complaint known but of course there was nobody there. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels during my business travel and have never encountered such a poor experience.

The stay was for a volunteer project and we won't ever stay here again. We are in a pandemic, and the room had nose and fingerprints on the window. No blinds only sheets on the windows and we found candy and drink caps on the floor. The bathroom has wallpaper and ceiling falling off the wall and ceiling. So disappointed We got out of there asap

I will start with the good. Staff for the most part are friendly. Location is close to everything. Rooms are basic but mostly clean. Seems to be lots of people living in hotel. Breakfast could be better but for some reason (we were told the breakfast girl doesn't like cleaning it up) they don't supply cooking spray with waffle maker. The Homeless people living there where bringing there own which we found entertaining. Without it forget about getting a waffle thats anything but a scrambled mess. Guess hotel staff prefer customers not eating so they don't have to clean. There was eggs that are clearly a powder base (not very good at all) there is a couple of yogurts out not many. Sausage was available for those who eat that. It was not horrible besides the non usable waffles maker. Towels.. we got 2 towels each day for 4 people. Guess we are supposed to choose who smells the worst and they are the ones who shower that day. Housekeeping never made up our room for the 2nd night. We made Outlook own beds and let trash overflow because ot wasn't taken put nor was bags left for us. Pool was small but clean. Not very warm but kids didn't care. (Plus they got cleaner since they didn't have shower towels in the room). Not what we would consider a nice hotel but adequate for a very short stay. (Or to live I guess if your part of the local homeless population)

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night with 3 other adults. There were contact lenses stuck to the night stand table upon check in. When going to shower there was pubic hair and long black hair in the shower. The toiletries that were given were so small it was a once use shampoo and conditioner. The staff was not very friendly. I called down from the room phone in the morning to see if they did breakfast and I received a rude yes and then was hung up on. Will not stay here again.

The room was clean, bed very comfortable and there was coffee/tea 24 hours a day. The breakfast was adequate with a lot of variety. However, the hot foods had been sitting in the steamer pans too long and weren't too appetizing. I was only there for one night but would return again.

Mike and his staff were every helpful and friendly being elderly i had a cart in leaving hotel room my friend had a pull suitcase and a bag the housekeeper took her suitcase all the way to elevator the staff did not walk by us in hotel with out say hi or good morning

We traveled from FL to NH and needed a place to stay. After one hotel giving our room away due to late arrival~ we found out there was 1 room available here. It was 1:30 am when we found it. They charged us 304.00 even though their website advertised 138.00. I told them it was only one night and reminded them that the price on their site was less than half the price quoted. I also tried AAA discount but they said we don't have that. Out of sheer fatigue we took the room. Will never stay there again.

The pool is so cloudy, you can't see the bottom. My room's door didn't latch. The owner accused me of lying. The next room I was in had a huge hole in the bathroom door, they said they knew about it just never fixed it. The hotel and rooms were dirty. Staff was rude. Breakfast was a disaster with not enough food and very long lines to get it. There was yelling in the halls and parking lot all night long. Terrible!

Over 45 mins to check in as nobody was at the front desk. Room was generally ok with the exception of the pubic hair on the shower floor. Hot breakfast was virtually non existent as the staff did not refill the hot food serving platters. Eggs, bacon. sausage and potato's were filled with only food residue.

It's a shame the renovation was done so poorly. There's no water pressure, the toilets are not fastened down, peeling paint and funny smells. No services provided "due to covid" with no price breaks. Cannot recommend.

We unfortunately stayed here, and got completely screwed out of 117 bucks. This place was a dump. The shower had filthy feet prints in it. The sink was clogged with toilet paper and food maybe. Called for a refund was denied one and told to wait for management. Offered to move rooms to an equally dirty room across the hall. Elevators “out of service for maintenance” the entire night, we were on the 5th floor. With my service dog. Was charged 50 for incidentals because of the dog (illegal when it's ADA certified). And to top it off we couldn't even pee without feeling like it was a ride. The toilet rocked back and forth while you were on it. So lovely! We called in the morning to ask for a refund after this terrible evening.. only to be told “you were offered a new room and declined, we cannot do that.” and told we had until 12 to leave, we were a bit late so the cops were called on us due to a late check out. Foul management. Foul staff. And barely busy yet we couldn't be moved to a lower floor. I see why she wants to never refund anyone due to the thousands of terrible reviews and probably lost money. I'm so sad to see this horrible place scamming people. DO NOT STAY HERE. CON. ARTISTS AND IT IS FILTHY! Stay FAR away!!!!! If I could give zero stars or dots I would. And side note: it appears to have/had an issue with veg bugs for quite some time! I itched and felt my skin crawl the whole time I was there. Definitely infested. So disgusting. See the other reviews telling of this issue as well! And see the review of the couple who did move rooms and still was not issued a refund because they did move. Sounds convenient right? Which is it? Move rooms and get no refund, or stay and wait it out and still don't get one? Hmm. Seems to me someone is money hungry. Hire a better housekeeper and hire friendly staff and maybe you would have a better review. I am still gagging. I hope no one ever stays there and wastes money again. It should be shut down by the health department.

Dirty bed, stains on pillow cases, told manager, he swapped our room, same things hairs in the sheets and a stain on one of the pillow cases, when we approached the manager he said I will not swap your room again, if your standards exceed our standards there is a Hampton Inn down the street. I asked him if we could have fresh linens if he would not change out room. Once again he said there is a Hampton Inn about a mile and a half down the street. I asked him to refund our money and we would leave for the Hampton Inn. He said I had to go through Hotels.com to refund my money. Then when Hotels.com called him he declined our refund. Such a POS. He literally would not give us a clean room, or clean linens then declined the refund and this was all at 12 at night. I will never stay at a Best Western again because of this guy and I suggest you don't stay at this one either

Nice hotel near town with many restaurants nearby. It is only a short distance to highway and the staff was very helpful. We especially enjoyed the pool area and were happy that a few toy boats were left behind for the kids to play with.

Stayed here for the weekend and it was ok at best, no towels or toiletries offered, didn't see one housekeeper my entire stay. When I was about to check out I was approached by a housekeeper holding a cell phone with a picture of my trash open and a cigarette that was mixed in with other trash from my car that I had cleaned out the night before that I had brought to the room to get rid of. I explained this to her and she became belligerent, raising her voice to me and accusing me of smoking in my room, then telling me she was going to check the cameras to see if I had brought any trash into the hotel from my car. I was absolutely shocked at her unprofessional behavior and asked for her name and the corporate number. They refused to give it to me and then proceeded to call the police. Police arrived and laughed it off and explained this happens all the time at this location. Now I've been charged $250 fee. What normal person opens a sealed trash and digs through it. I've stayed in hotels all over the country and abroad and have never experienced this. Never again.

I stayed on the 4th Floor for one night and it looked like it need to be painted again .On the site it said to was redon by the looks of it was not. In the bathroom no toilet paper. I have stayed at better best westerns.

Modern and very clean. Employees were very nice and all wore masks. We were told up front that our room would not be serviced during our 4 night stay due to Covid but if we needed anything we could get it at their front desk. Breakfast was “ grab and go” but we were fine with that. Depending on the morning you could have yogurt, fruit( bananas, apples, or clementines), blueberry muffins, choc chip cookies, fruit salad cups, Nature Valley Granola bars, small bottles of water, egg/cheese muffin or pita pocket that you could heat in microwave. We used their in room coffee maker ( 1 cup at a time) and we had our own refrigeratored creamer so coffee was good!there was so much for breakfast we put what we didn't eat in our beach cooler for lunch/snacks. Never used their indoor pool as we were up there for Lake time so can't comment on that. Would definitely stay there again as it was close to where other family was staying and not far from local attractions and Lake Winnipesaukee.

We only stayed one night, but the room was very clean and comfortable. Easy in and easy out. The bed was so comfortable that we didn't want to get up in the morning! There was a variety of packaged breakfast items. I would definitely stay here again.

I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel and do not recommend it. The third floor hallway looked messy. I could hear the ice maker and the wires were exposed. I could also hear people in the room over top of mine. Finally, the hand-sanitizer was not easily visible and I had to ask for it when I followed someone checking in.

Great service, friendly, fast, even during this time. My room was very clean, as everything else at the hotel. Good selection of snacks and sodas at reception. Great location (activities, restaurants, etc.) Everything as expected from a BW+. No complaints. Happy to stay again, business or leisure.

I expected much more from the newly renovated hotel. There were blood stains on the coverlet and stains on the towels. I also noticed a smudge of pink mildew around the sink, and there was a used coffee pod left in the coffee machine. This was all surprising considering I was not allowed up to my room until the front desk confirmed it had been fully cleaned and sanitized. Also, the hall light in the room would not turn off. Instead it dimmed to a nightlight. It was in front of a full length mirror so there was a light in my face all night. Also, they locked the exterior doors at 9:45 PM. They really need to install card readers. At check-out, the man at the front desk was talking on 2 phones and made me wait until he finally motioned toward a clear bin to drop my card key in. Checking in was OK and a friendlier experience, though.

Would not let me cancel my reservation due to the pandemic never offered me any substitution was very rude and hung up the phone on me twice but yet still charged my credit card.I understand I had a non-refundable reservation but they could have offered something in return especially during a pandemic.it's not like I had control over the situation I'm not allowed to leave I'm at stay at home law.

This is a great motel, very clean and friendly. The breakfast was good, had a big variety and it was kept maintained and clean. The pool was under maintenance so can not rate that. Probably could have found cheaper but the service wouldn't have been as good.

Pay the extra money and stay else where! You'll thank me later! Seemed like we were the only people staying at the hotel, atleast we were the only ones on our floor. We had no hot water and it took 2hrs and the manager on duty to physically come to our room because he didn't beleive we had not hot water to finally call the maintenance man to come fix the hot water. The included breakfast shouldn't even be considered breakfast because it was horrible! Who serves coffee coming from a machine that's clearly flavoring and water being mixed to create so called "coffee"! The food was dry and the instant pancake machine was just a joke and tasted like cardboard. The room was ok, but like others have mentioned, the bathroom layout is a joke! You literally have to corner yourself to close the door to the bathroom. The only good interaction we had was from the nice lady who checked us in and out! She was the only person who seemed to know what hospitality was! This hotel has alot of potential with some work into better customer service for sure and updating that horrible breakfast buffet! I guess you get what you pay for. Good location with many restaurants and local businesses around! Loved Karma Restaurant for breakfast and an antique shop that was close by! Also suggest Sal's pizza for a good pie!

Price was higher then what I wanted to pay. Lobby was clean. The room was very nice and clean. Bathroom is on the small side. Free breakfast was surprisingly good. I would differently stay there again.

nice decor just renovated everything in and out of the hotel. locating staff seems to be an issue here .hot breafast , eggs ran out with an hour left .everything was clean and quiet Water saving shower head ruined my shower.price on website was $25 ceaper than at the hotel for same rooms hotel was empty too.

Room was not cleaned properly. Bottle cap and swab in plain view on carpet. Shower could use more attention. We asked and were moved to another room. Better but still believe they need a new cleaning crew. Went to breakfast area in the morning . . . no one there! The did eventually get food out. On positive note the beds were comfortable and great pillows. One star because of room condition but employee at the desk was very nice and helpful.

This was a rather last minute stay for just one night. It was busy but we did have reservations and had no issues with that. Our room was bright and clean. Very comfortable. It was quiet except for some street noise early in the evening. The staff was friendly. I didn't go to the breakfast but my husband did and said it was fine (but busy...what can you do?). Location worked well for us. My two criteria are clean and quiet. This worked for us.

"Front Staff very rude and bathroom unclean"

When we went to check in, they had cancelled our room because the card we had reserved it with months ago had expired. They were rude about having called me that day and I did not answer. I was staying in a hotel as I was traveling out of town so expecting to reach me at home was a bit difficult. I had the new card, same number, with me. I wonder why they even tried to charge the card before I checked in. They finally got us a room and we went to room. Of course the room key was not programmed correctly and we had to go back down stairs. When I got down they asked me how many people were staying in the room. I told them two but my daughter and her boyfriend were visiting. I was told they were not aloud to visit and could not use the facilities. I never heard of such a policy. We were going to dinner together that night. When in the room we found makeup all over the bathroom sink. It was clearly not cleaned before we arrived. "Dirty bathroom"

The bathroom was gross hair on the shower walls, on the bottom of the shower. toothpaste in the sink and on the counter. The room was clean and nicely decorated. But the bathroom definitely sketched me out maybe they forgot to clean it I have no idea.

A recent renovation and the Best Western reputation led us to reserve at this hotel. When we arrived the parking lot was empty but for two nice touring motorcycles. The lobby makes a good first impression and check-in was pleasant. Occupancy was very low (“seven or eight rooms”, we were told) but they chose to put everyone in adjoining rooms. The room is pleasantly furnished and decorated, ours looking out over the water toward downtown Laconia, though a glance down at the ground revealed an unsightly pile of garbage. A modern, efficient sun blind covers the new, if not crystal clean window and the A/C works well and quietly. The renovation, though, seems poorly finished and shortcuts were taken. The old room walls are still paper thin and in the morning I was awakened by our next door neighbours discussing the three home runs in last night's ball game. There was evidence of really poor workmanship everywhere. Our bathroom door fit so badly it would not close and the moulding was coming off. The ice bucket is stored under the sink in the bathroom about 18 unhygienic inches from the toilet bowl. What's wrong with leaving it in the room? When we arrived at about 6:00 p.m. there was a pile of dirty linen and a bag of trash on the floor near the elevators in our second floor hallway. They were still there at 8:00 the next morning. The renovation at this hotel, though likely very expensive, appears to have missed the mark. There is more work to be done before it comes up to the Best Western Plus standard.

"The remodel was terrible."

We didn't report our issues as we were only spending the night in the room (we just needed a place to sleep and shower).The room was just remodeled within the last few months. whomever you contracted to do the job sucked and they scammed you. The room we had was situated just behind the hallway door which was propped open with a wedge. Every time we left our room we had to walk into the back of a door because some jerk kept putting the wedge back.. We had a black bathroom door with a repair the size of a fist using white putty. The wallpaper was peeling off. the mudding tape used on the bathroom ceiling is coming off. You can't use toilet without door hitting you while sitting on it, that's not cool. Who designs a shower that you have to walk into to turn on. Common sense is the cold water of the shower is going to come on first causing who ever turns it on to get sprayed with cold water first. I work hard for my money and your room was not worth the $165 I paid. Enjoyable would be a refund!

"clogged bathroom sink upon arrival, horrible customer service"

The bathroom sick was clogged and not draining any water. When I called the front desk to report this, he said the only thing he could do was have us change rooms. We were all unpacked, getting ready for a wedding within the hour and 2 of us were in the wedding party and had already left the room. I explained changing rooms was not an option at that moment and the staff member said to change rooms when we all returned ( after midnight). I asked for a partial refund based on the inconvenience of it all and he refused. He was rude, offered no helpful solutions and was extremely dismissive.

This hotel is extremely rude and unnecessarily rude...I have a disability and had a service dog which is protected by federal law. He is registered and I presented the card when I was checking in. The lady was very rude and told me that service dogs were not allowed....she then got her manager on the phone who directed me another 5 minutes down the road to another hotel that was managed by them and that man was extremely rude told me to never come back to his hotel again that I didn't need the service animal and that I was faking..... They charged my credit card three times and when I went to say something to them they tried to say I had to give a cash deposit and since it was already past midnight I gave the cash deposit and they wouldn't give me a receipt for the cash....after giving the cash deposit I returned to my room and realized through online banking that they had charged me triple!!! This was One of the most horrible experiences I've ever had at this hotel and at the econo Lodge in tilton New Hampshire, they're owned by the same people!!

We came to see a concert in Gilford New Hampshire at the bank of New Hampshire pavilion. We stayed here and really enjoyed the hotel. Absolutely beautiful decor and very comfortable beds. Our room was very clean, our view was lovely of the river and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. I just looked at some of the reviews from previously in the summer and I can't believe it's the same hotel. The negative reviews seem like they were talking about somewhere else. This hotel was top notch

My daughter's room (she's in a wheelchair) was at the back of hall, behind a heavy door, and she had to turn at a set of steep stairs--dangerous, the advertised pool wasn't ready yet, which was why we chose this hotel, it was very dirty there-

"Hotel was nice!"

We were in the area to attend a concert at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion. This place was close, so we gave it a try. Look like the place has been (or is in the process of) a rehab. Things all look clean and neat. They have a free breakfast in the morning. They are a bit slim on parking. Being right downtown, the lot is small. We had to hunt around and park out back. They sahre a lot with a strip mall. Biggest thing you will need to know is that in a city of almost 17,000 we couldn't find a place to eat or get a drink at ten PM on a Staurday night. Apparently, everything closes early in that area.

I didn't check in until 4:30 am. The woman at the desk was extremely helpful and accommodating - especially for the hour. The property is still under renovation. The room I had was brand new! The bed was comfortable and the breakfast good. Great value for the money.

Although a little expensive, it was a weekend in the summer and it was centrally located to the things we wanted to do. Parking lot was well maintained and when the walkway behind the property is complete, it will be a nice spot to hang out.

We ended up here by accident after an AirBnB fell through at the last minute and we were turned away from a fancy Meredith hotel. The night desk manager treated us with respect, dignity, and kindness. She went out of her way to save the day, so to speak. The hotel was quiet, clean, and much more affordable than our previous reservation, too.

"Clean, Comfortable, Convenient & Newly Renovated"

For decades, the Landmark Inn had been an eyesore, flea bag dump to be avoided at all costs, as several awful trip advisor reviews attest. However, as of summer 2019, it's now a Best Western Plus property and under new management and nearly finished with a complete renovation inside and out. We stayed here one night midweek for a concert we were attending. Our expectations were low, but we were pleasantly surprised, over all. The new lobby is bright, modern and welcoming. Our room was very clean, new bed was comfy, very IKEA modern furniture. It was actually pretty! Our king bed was comfortable, there's a mini fridge, and lots of outlets. Breakfast is included and although the website says it's a continental, it's actually a full hot make your own breakfast with make your own waffles, etc. They also have complementary newspapers to take to your room. The areas that need improvement: The Check in front desk staff— we arrived at 2 pm. The clerk said we couldn't check in until 3 pm because our room wasn't ready. I asked why it's not ready pointing out it's Thursday, the parking lot is empty and you are at very low occupancy the night before. Fortunately a wiser manager was nearby who heard this and asked what room we were to be in. When the clerk told her, she said the room is clean and ready. Thank goodness! No apology from the clerk, who seemed to just be watching the clock and hadn't even checked the room status first in the computer, nor taken the initiative to ask the manager if the room was ready before automatically saying it's not 3 pm, so you can't check in. News flash: get your guests into their room when they arrive if it's clean & ready regardless of the time. Thank you to manager who corrected the situation. This hotel is for travelers — you can't always pinpoint your arrival time! Our bathroom: although the shower, floor, toilet, fixtures, and cabinetry is all new, the actual sink looked old and had a very large pale yellow stain that was gross. The water pressure from the sink faucet was fabulous, but the shower water pressure was literally a trickle. This was not due to the different shower head settings. We tried each one, and nothing improved it. It was like standing under a lawn sprinkler, only worse. This is room 215. We pointed this out to the housekeeping manager when we checked out. Hopefully they will remedy this before the next guest. Also, there was no do not disturb sign for our door, which other rooms had, and — lastly— we had to throw ourselves full body against the 215 entrance door in order to access the room because the door sticks...a forceful shove on the door handle didn't budge it. A full body shoulder shove did. A positive note for the future is that we noticed The swimming pool is being renovated, and once it reopens it should make this a decent place to stay for traveling families. This is a business class, downtown hotel for the budget minded traveler. Easy walking to local restaurants, gift, antiques, and clothing stores. The hotel shares a parking lot with Walgreens. The road renovation at the busy intersection where this hotel is is still in progress, so it's a bit noisy.

"Wedding weekend"

Awesome place to stay. It is not perfect but the staff works really hard and is extremely friendly and helpful. We were there because my daughter was getting married and the house I rented through VRBO was not available even though I paid full price for it in advance. We did not find out until the day we were supposed to have access. Best Western really came through for us. Thank you!!!

Good stay, front desk staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Room was very clean, hotel was quiet and in a good location. Usually a Mariott/Hilton person but would definitely stay here again next time in the area. Went to a concert @ Meadowbrook and it was easy to get there and back. Thank you!

After looking for a place to stay and finding that this hotel was the only one available, we took the plunge even though the review were super bad. I has to sign up to write this review because the hotel has poor reputation here, but is under new ownership and just re-opened after switching to best western. It'ts really nice! There is still alittle bit of work going on but our room was great, the lobby was nice, breakfast was ok (wish it was better), staff was really friendly. Internet worked ok but could have been better. It wasn't cheap but was worth the cost....we would definitely stay here again. A bonus - there is a nice paved river walk right behind the hotel.

"front desk is instructed to rip you off when possible"

was intending to stay for 5 days but changed mind and checked out after 2 days but was still charged for 5 and manager never called me back as he said he had no record of me checking out on the 3rd day. front desk personnel said i was good to go when i checked out but apparently they have a very sinister protocol. furnishings were outdated, carpet was stained and room was not thoroughly cleaned. they do however have a good continental breakfast with ample seating

I have never seen such a dump in all my life. Was scheduled to stay Sept. 13 and 14th.2018. Arrived at Landmark and found it under construction. The lobby was a pig pen from all work going on. Checked into room on floor 7. The 7th floor was dirty from construction. Went into room , no water and wasn't sure if there was going to have it going. Went to front desk told them was not happy and Manager was very ignorant! Had booked room on booking.com. Booking cancelled my reservation. While on phone with booking.com Manager told me I had 15 minutes to get off property. Never book here again.

Under major construction - 3 floors having missing windows and air conditioning units, yet they were still open for business????? Very sketchy people hanging around the hotel. We were told by locals that the City bought the top floor of the hotel and they run a HALF WAY HOUSE, which explains the sketchy looking people we saw. Place is filthy. Front desk staff was RUDE and had blood shot eyes. NEVERRRRRRR STAY HERE.

Not super clean, overpriced and lacking in general. So glad I only needed to stay one night. Would not recommend this hotel. Staff did not speak fluent English and were rude. "Free" breakfast was stale coffe and packaged donuts.
