A very nice clean quiet hotel room is very spacious with plenty of hot water the internet worked well a mini fridge is always nice all outlets worked. The breakfast was okay eggs sausage waffles for hot items no potatoes unfortunately and basic other stuff bagels toast cereal
Adrian, who I've dealt with over the years of our staying there has always been a pleasure to work with. He has made all our stays a pleasant experience. He is what I consider a valuable asset to this Hotel! My wife and I look forward to having the opportunity to once again stay here.
A very nice place and the staff were so accommodating. Additional family and friends stayed here because of a funeral event. This Best Western was a clean and comfortable hotel to stay with a great breakfast that was included. The staff went overboard to accommodate all of us.
The front desk girl charged me 30 dollars for makeup being on ONE wash cloth that they are supposed to bleach anyways that's the purpose of it being WHITE! I've never in my entire life experience staying at so many hotels been charged for wash cloths!
Very clean rooms and great price Nice air to stay around lotta restaurants you could go to nice pool and good workout area gym
Nice enough hotel but could be awesome with a few adjustments! Shampoo etc needs to be better or wall mounted like other hotels. Little bottles are a joke! Pool area could be more inviting! Thank you!
1 star is being nice after being refused service and a room I reserved on Expedia that specifically states “service animals allowed”. It is a Federal Law that this hotel is not following and it's not even a nice fancy hotel. For someone that has a mental and emotional disability I was denied my service animal without being asked for my verification. Immediately we were refused service because they saw a dog and when we told them she is a service animal they said they will not charge us for a room but we could not stay there at all. Most irresponsible company that doesn't follow Fair Housing and Federal Laws. DO NOT STAY HERE!
Easy and fast check-in. Great tasting breakfast, with lots of choices. Very quiet and clean room. Will definitely stay again. Will recommend this motel to friends and family. Close to stores, and parks.
The beds were super comfortable. There was food places and grocery stores all within walking distance. The hotel was centrally located. I slept all night. The staff was very friendly. They made me feel welcomed.
We had never stayed at this Best Western before, so we were curious on how good the hotel might be. It is a newer unit, and in very good shape. In particular the rooms are VERY nice, and the televisions are large and have a substantial number of channels available. The breakfast room was one of the best we've encountered at a Best Western, and featured real plates and glasses (and sturdy, high quality plastic silverware). The room attendant was very attentive to keeping the food stocked and the room clean, and the food was very flavorful and hot. There is a Denny's very close to the front door, and we got great service there as well. Parking is a little tight at this location, but we were able to get a space close to the back door, and easily unloaded and loaded our car. The price we paid was very appropraite for the room and service we received. We will put this hotel on our rotation of California hotels when we travel the state.
I needed a place to stay for one night to attend a local city hearing. There are not many options in Wasco but I didn't want to have to drive out of my way to Bakersfield. As a solo female traveler, safety is always my #1 consideration and this hotel felt very safe. There is new development on two sides of the property. An Arco AM/PM station is located immediately to the front of the hotel but I did not notice any issues with loitering. The area is well-lit and at least during the week, the clientele seems to be people traveling for work and maybe one or two truckers. Nothing "fancy" but everything was clean and well-maintained and the front desk staff was very attentive. Also the blackout shades in the room were amazing and I was able to sleep in total darkness.
15 min from B Willow raceway. Other places of the 5 had crappy food choices and expensive gas. Solve those problems by staying here. Cold AC. Pool looked very clean. Usual good Best Western hotel.Catrinas Mexican food is a must. Maybe you'll get lucky and visit on Karaoke night.
This location and its employees are very nice. It is a simple clean hotel in the middle of Wasco that is worth staying at. Wasco is growing and it appears that you could get construction noise, but that didn't happen when you stay there on the weekend. Nice clean, quiet location that has everything you need while traveling across California.
All staff (Including owner) are great people and will treat you with respect, unlike other hotels I have stayed at prior to this one. We are currently staying there for long term duration and I am happy to find this location.
We were defrauded at this hotel. Paid non-refundable reservation on BW site, showed up and they wanted another card to pay. (I had a promo tied to the original card so that was a solid no-go). There's more detail but essentially I discerned their scam after several minutes with the Desk Clerk and deescalated by leaving. These crooks charged my original card for the full room they refused to provide, literally a minute after I exited the door, as we were in the parking lot! If they had “worries” that my credit card was no good, by that action they have just participated in fraud in my opinion. This is a tiny town in the middle of nowhere charging $150/night for a room! Apparently they can't charge your credit card and give you a room, but they will happily charge your credit card if they HAVEN'T provided that same room. Scummy thing to do to worn out travelers, and I'm working on getting Best Western to cancel their franchise because this kind of fraud is unacceptable from any hotel, much less a chain like BW that used to have some decent standards.
Our friend had his car broken into in the parking lot. He received no help from the desk personnel. Another guest told us his trailer had been broken into in their trailer parking area. Staff's inaction and indifference indicates that this happens often.
This hotel has friendly attentive staff and owners that care. No better place for miles to stay. Very clean, comfortable, never any chaos. Thanks for being the best! Always safe, pool, fitness you name it the best
This was the first time that I have stayed at a BW in a long time. I was very impressed with how modern the hotel is, and well maintained. The front desk staff were very prompt, friendly and informative.
We came to Wasco to visit family and I'm so glad we found this hotel. My family and I had an excellent stay. The check in process was quick and the staff super friendly. Our room was very clean, beds comfortable, the AC was perfect and the breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed the pool in the evening. Overall a pleasant stay.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was inform fs the hotel promotions that was going on and staff register me for the promotion that was going with the hotel and also was offer speedy check out. My room was very clean and the hotel lobby was really clean too.
It is a well maintained, fairly modern, clean place to stay with several amenities aimed at the business traveler and beyond. The staff is friendly and helpful. It stands out at its price point, being both affordable and nice. In the greater Bakersfield area there are nicer places to stay, but they are more expensive. Cheaper, and even some equivalently priced accommodations, all seem to pale in comparison (based on reviews of those locations). The only downside is that there is really nothing much to do in the immediate vicinity. Not a problem if what you want is just a good place to stay. Normal fast food choices, as well as a Denny's, some local diners, and a couple of family run Mexican restaurants are close by. There is an Arco station between the property and the highway, so it is reasonably quiet.
I Love staying here in the spa room. My husband & I stay here often, and we have never had any issues with the spa or the room. It is always very clean and the customer service is outstanding. I would definitely recommend people to stay here if in the area.
Super clean! Excellent breakfast choices!! Can tell this hotel takes pride on their service!!! Staff were so polite! Everything in the room was in good working order. The food choices had dairy and non dairy for example. Will definitely come again!
Overpriced for the area in my opinion. Rooms were clean, bed just okay, breakfast satisfactory. The wi-fi was terrible. Also, I was charged an additional $100 deposit when I checked in for a three night stay. I have never been charged this before at any Best Western and it really surprised me and ticked me off! I will not return here.
Everything went very smoothly. From check in to check out we felt valued. Customer service was very well done. We experienced only 1 issue with a broken item, but we were quickly provided a solution. Room was bigger than I expected. Will stay again.
We were here late for just one night to visit Kern Wildlife Refuge. Shocked to find beds rumpled, old beds, window wouldn't open, door lock broken. Just slept and left. Usually enjoy BW hotels and this was a Plus! Would stay in another town. In reviews it said this was a newly remodeled hotel-definitely not. Worn out and needs repairs.
Clean and comfortable, I would recommend this bestwestern to a friend or coworker. I have stayed at this particular location on 6 separate occasions and enjoyed my stay each time. Good food and a quiet stay
This was the Best ever and restful nights sleep. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable for sleeping. I definitely would recommend this hotel for a relaxing and restful nights stay. Always
The room is very clean. The mattress and bedding made for an extremely comfortable sleep after a long day of travel. The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. The two bottles of water upon arriving was very appreciated.
I had made a reservation for Oct 30th--I called back to tell them I had a documented Service Dog and was told not allowed and I could cancel res, if I wanted. I said "NO, do not cancel, I will make other arrangements for my dog". I called back and was told the Mgr. said cancel the res!!! I asked why and was only told Mgrs. decision and would not speak to me as to why!! Really put us in a bind as that was only 1 of 2 motels in area, other one not desirable. We were going to a wedding for my Grandson, so we are driving over and back home in 1 day. Seriously considering legal action!!!
This is a nice hotel with easy access to highway. The room was clean and they offered a full breakfast. Our only complaint is not being told until check-in there would be a $100 deposit additionally charged and held for 3 business days. No where on the website or in our booking confirmation was that stated. It should be stated BEFORE booking, so you can make an informed decision to book or not.
It was so nice to find a place in the area without having to go to a larger city. Very clean place. Great A/C and even a ceiling fan. Nice pool area, but heater was not working. Friendly staff. Typical breakfast items for early departure was nice to have. Well lit parking area . Denny's just a few steps away. Bed was comfortable. Our next trip through that area will include a stopover here.
$283 deposit for a room I used points for, deposit is usually no more than $50 and it still hasn't been refunded. That's more of a deposit than the cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, ridiculous the have an inflated opinion of their own hotel. Worst Best western ever
I stayed one night. I had paid for the second night and was in the room writing letters for two hours when I received a call saying the meeting for the next day was cancelled. I immediately went to the front desk to see if I could get some of my money back as I would not be using the room for the night. I was denied. I had paid more than I usually pay just to stay at a BW. I will not stay at this hotel again.
Room and overall hotel appearance is very clean. There are store and food options within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel offers a bagged breakfast that included a granola bar, muffin, apple and juice. I will be staying here again if needed.
This is my top 5 motels the rooms are clean and the breakfast before covid is a great breakfast thank you for making me feel at home i will definitely be coming back and recommend you guys are the best
We blew a tire on the I-5 near Lost Hills and had to stay the night somewhere. We didn't like the hotel properties in that area so we decided to stay at the Best Western in Wasco due to its cleanliness during our search. The tow truck driver gave us a lift to that hotel and we figured we would catch an Uber or Lyft back to Lost Hills in the morning to pick up our car. We got some rest thanks to the accommodating staff and comfort of the room and were ready to head back to Lost Hills. However, I was not able to find a ride on Uber, Lyft, or a taxi service due to Wasco being a small town. Thankfully, the hotel staff and ownership recognized our situation and immediately offered to give us a ride all the way to Lost Hills!!! I cannot stress how appreciative we were especially after dealing with such a long night full of problems. This hotel staff and ownership went absolutely above and beyond and I will never forget it.
We picked this location for its proximity to the Sequoia National Forest and the big jetted tub. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean and quiet. Our room was a King Room with the Jetted Tub. The room was pretty, high ceilings and even had a ceiling fan! The tub was the best tub we've ever gotten in a hotel... nice jets, easy to get in and out of (I'm short and fluffy)... I highly recommend it if you enjoy baths. I took one star away due to the "grab and go breakfast" they provided instead of the continental breakfast that they couldn't serve because of COVID-19 restrictions, completely understandable...but... The brown bag had a 4 oz carton of orange juice, a Granny Smith apple, a Sweet and Salty Nature's Valley bar, and a light and fit Dannon yogurt with artificial sweetener in it. I think they could either have put a bit more thought into this or just given a discount on the bill when not providing breakfast... or even partnered with Denny's which is next door so they offered like $5 off your meal or something (or a local place in town). Other than that this place was a nice little hotel to call home for a couple of days and we would stay here again.
This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at! They treat you like family since it's family owned. I stay here 2x's a week in my travels. Very clean due to Covid-19. I feel like this place is my second home. Great amenities and food available!
There was such a beautiful presence they are roses all over the property and they are absolutely beautiful. Staff was very friendly and sweet. The hotel was clean and had a lively smell of freash flowers. My stay was the best and they had blackout shades that were perfect to get a great night's sleep. Wrll definitely reccomend and return in the future. This was the wasco, ca location.
I stay here often due to work and I always enjoy my stay rooms are very clean and well decorated. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Close to restaurant and gas stations over all I would highly recommend
My crew and myself wish to thank the staff at Best Western Wasco, CA for their support during the COVID pandemic. We are essential to infrastructure, utilities, and RR service. We have to travel and continue to perform our tasks during these difficult times. The support, safe accommodations, and customer service provided by the staff at Best Western Wasco has kept my crew productive, rested, and allowed us to maintain a high level of service to our customers. Thank you! Best western Wasco has become our first choice for lodging when performing essential tasks in this area.Thank you again in helping us to keep America functioning until this crisis passes and into the future.
Jewel of Wasco this hotel is clean, well maintained by owners that care about your well being. Hotel has been renovated and looks amazing. The property is well organized and all the amenities are enjoyable
If you have business in Wasco or Shafter and do not have to do any dinner entertaining in Bakersfield this is a GEM. FINALLY a decent place to stay in town!!! This is a no frills great place to lay your head for a night or two when traveling on business or just passing through.
If your contractor or your schedule might change don't make reservations here if you leave early they're going to charge you for an extra day. As a business owner we generally book rooms at Best Western plus locations but we'll never use this hotel again everyone got charge for an extra 24 hours saying it was a reservation cancellation after everyone stayed at least two days the last two guys stayed a total of four
I have never been disappointed by the Wasco Best Western. And it is always interesting to see who shows up there. Last time it was beekeepers, this time it was Porsche owners competing in Buttonwillow.
this hotel is always a pleasant experience and we stay here every year. The staff are very helpful and nice.Rooms are very clean and attractive, Complimentary breakfast is also very good with healthy choices available.
It was amazing love the hotel love the pool of the breakfast and the services. Most of the people at the front desk were very very friendly except for one lady she seem like she really hated her job other than that everybody was amazing the breakfast area was amazing the girls were really good at attending everybody at the food lobby Also the ladies at the housekeeping were such sweethearts enjoyed my stay would do it again
Best place to stay in area convenient clean hotel with great staff, newly renovated location brings out the best at this hotel will be back walking distance to all locations enjoy pool fitness works patio
Best Western is my reliable go-to for a no-frills budget hotel experience and this one is no exception. Great front desk service, clean room, nice amenities (pool, jacuzzi, free wi-fi, breakfast). Will definitely stay here over staying anywhere near Buttonwillow.
This is my second time staying at Best Western Wasco and The rooms great, so is the continental breakfast, but the service and hospitality by Maria is the reason why I am taking the time to write this review. She is kind, considerate, and is a beautiful soul. Her nature is super pleasant. My trips to Wasco are difficult because of circumstances, and Maria is a breath of fresh air. I'm glad to have made a friend out here, and I will be staying here again mainly because Maria was so kind to me. You guys scored with Maria and she probably could use a raise. Lol. Sincerely, John Michael
Very nice accommodation with a good hot breakfast included. Staff was friendly and efficient. I asked for a recommendation of a mexican restaurant and Catrina's was recommended. It was excellent! My favorite dish is chile verde, and theirs is as good as any I've had. My wife had a chicken chimichanga, and it was also excellent. They make their own tortillas from scratch, and they are excellent. Highly Recommended!
Great hotel.. I've been useing B.w hotels now we'll anytime there is one in the area that I'm staying at... just simple..clean friendly foods usually pretty good... with a selection too...not just bagel's and muffins... room's are reasonable rates and clean..so is the whole building..fittness rooms..pool patio.. breakfast lounge...hall ways everything...and the day manger was cool to talk with...very nice... just for me easy in and easy out no hassles what so ever... great place... diffinitly be back....
My wife and I stay at this hotel quite often and have gotten to know the property, owners and staff pretty well. The hotel is ALWAYS clean, updated and in great working order. The rooms are spacious, have refrigerators, microwaves and comfortable beds. The staff are great to deal with as well. It is our go to whenever we are in the area. If you need a nice, clean and safe place to stay while in the area, this is the place.
Came to pu my LO from Wasco CDC. I was worried about safety. This location was recommended by another wife. A bit out of my budget for such a small town. But decided to treat myself. A lot of construction guys staying. A bit intimidating. I checked. Brought my belonging in and never left my room. But no problems. Rooms clean. A big of a echo & bathroom door didn't stay open. Loved the fan in the room. The big tv was a plus.
Have stayed here since at least 2013 for California Hot Rod Reunion weekend in October. Missed last year due to cancer treatments. This year I noticed a change in personnel from previous years, a raise in the nightnly rate, the high rate fro Sunday night as well as Friday and Saturday which is new.Sunday night rate used to match Thursday night rate. My room was a bit ragged around the edges. Motel is getting a bit older and as a "plus" it is in need of a bit of fluff in the rooms. For some reason the breakfast room has a complete makeover which I don't understand as it seemed fine from previous years. Nothing else in Wasco in quality motels but this one did not meet expectations this year from my previous expeeince with the facility.
This hotel has friendly staff, is clean and great place to stay. From the owners to the staff all are caring and truly want you to have a great stay. Amenities are new from fitness to patio and pool and meeting room and business center are great
We had booked three rooms and stayed for one night with family and friends. Clean and comfortable hotel rooms, on main road. Breakfast was awesome. Good wifi. Also there was complementary coffee tray in room. Check in n check out was easy.
This is a great place to stay very clean and professional staff. HiglHi recommend anyone to stay at this hote. Breakfast is awesome, hitelis also is very well located close to restaurants, gas stations, etc.....
We are visiting with our 3 kids. Great place to stay! Wonderful free breakfast with food for the whole family. The rooms and TV are nice. Has HBO and descent channels to choose from. My kids are having fun swimming in the pool and hot tub. Walking distance to food and a gas station. Centrally located and we were all around impressed. A final bonus I must mention is they have a washer and dryer!
Excellent, the hotel, our room, beds, handicap facility for my 94 year old mother, reception area, breakfast room kitchen was very clean, the staff very professional, we will definetely return!! Very satisfied customers
The hotel is clean and the people who work there are great. The check in process was simple and the check out process was also easy. The rooms are comfortable and I always pick this hotel over the other hotels in the area
With my ARRP card I used at Best Western's from Orlando Florida to California, I was able to save over 70.00 dollars in nightly rates and 60 dollars by taking advantage of the Breakfast surved at Best Western plus
This hotel is new and the room was clean and nice. Breakfast was okay, not great - only instant oatmeal and not great coffee. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The room had ceiling fans, which was great because I could not figure out how to keep air circulating with the room air unit without air blowing full blast, even on low setting.
We always look forward to our stay at Wasco BW. Staff welcomes us at the door and greets us at breakfast by name! They really care! About the roses.....it's beautifully landscaped with every color in the rainbow
This location in Wasco is convenient to local shopping and restaurants, friendly staff, clean rooms, what else could you ask for. Great location to hold meetings and small events. On top of all this you get a feast for breakfast.
Our room was very clean and comfortable!! The 'fridge, coffee maker, and MICROWAVE made it very convenient!! Breakfast in the morning offered a big variety of choices and the items were constantly replenished. All of the Staff were friendly and helpful!! A superior facility!!!
This property is extremely well maintained, with the nicest & most helpful staffpersons!! They make great recommendations for local eateries (Hoyt's for breakfast & Christina's for dinner are a must try...just awesome). Great place to stay while attending drag races at Famosa, just 7 miles east.
We stayed overnight and were very happy with this hotel. It is clean, well maintained and met all our expectations The Check in staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for a stop over. Breakfast was a nice bonus.
I am a Best Western Rewards customer, and based on my profile, Cedric arranged to hold a room for me until I arrived a half hour later after a five hour drive from San Francisco. He was very nice and efficient when I arrived. As always, my room was well appointed and clean. In keeping with what I have come to except from the Best Western group, I am certain that the breakfast tomorrow morning will start the last half of my trip off very well indeed.
My daughter and I stayed here after a 5hr drive. It was a nice place and the breakfast was better than I was expecting. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again. It was quiet, clean and friendly staff.
This is the cleanest, best smelling hotel in Wasco Ca. The rooms were extremely clean, beautiful, and quiet. The bathrooms was spacious, and modern. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the lobby room, lots of an assortment for breakfast, including both hot and cold breakfast.
Enjoyed our stay. The lobby was decorated for the holidays, and the front desk personnel were extremely efficient and friendly. The room was very clean and well maintained. Great location away from the higher crime city of Bakersfield. It's in a small town without a lot of choices for dinner out, but there's a decent Carl's Jr. within walking distance.
The Best Western Plus Inn & Suites in Wasco, CA is a great place to stay, if you are traveling in or through the Central Valley seeking a nice, comfortable and pleasant place to stay. We returned to this hotel because it is very clean, the beds are comfortable and offers a complimentary breakfast. The employees are very pleasant, helpful, accommodating, and provide excellent customer service. There was a variety of options available for breakfast pretty (sausage, scrambled eggs, waffles, bread options, cereal, along with yogurt, fruit, muffins, danishes) and the attendant made sure the food was replenished in a timely manner. Will definitely stay here again!
I stay at many Best Western's as they have a very good rewards program and this one is a good one. It seems to be a relatively new hotel, so things are clean and in good working order. The breakfast was great and the person there was very helpful, more than she needed to be.
Stayed at the Wasco Hotel on our way back from Arizonia. We were impressed with the rooms and friendlyness of the staff. Would stay there again when driving that way. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds.
While driving into town I noticed older but nice business'..What a pleasant surprise to see a brand new 3 story hotel...large portico area , wide enough for 3 cars to check-in ..next was the automatic front doors..what a treat..next came the deck people..great folks..so very helpful..room was spacious and new furnishings..large TV with some HBO channels..free..great comfortable bed , shower water pressure was refreshing with the rain nozzle. the breakfast was will maintained..great selection of of items to choose from..Best hotel experience I have had..Hard to believe this hotel located off the major highways and in such a unique town.
Love this hotel. Great place, great rooms, great staff. Awesome bed. Shower ROCKS! The breakfast isn't anything fancy but they have a LOT of choices and it's really nice. Very clean place and nice staff.
This was just a late evening check in and a mid morning check out. Our vacation was winding down. I knew nothing about this property and just picked according to where it was from Bakersfield, which was where we had spent the afternoon and early evening with family. The noise from the laundry was a little disturbing while trying to go to sleep. We over slept for breakfast.
Excellent quality...fast internet so easy to watch online tv and movies.. very comfy bed..very nice quality for service, room, front entry...location makes it quiet since it's set back from street. Thanks
Friendly, helpful service. Large fridges and microwaves are appreciated for family travels! Rooms are comfortable! Loved having the gym to work out during down time. Pool and jacuzzi great for warm days!
The Audi Club SoCal stays at Best Western Wasco each year at this time when we hold a driving event at Buttonwillow Raceway nearby. Clearly the best hotel for literally miles around. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Good staff, clean large rooms, good breakfast, not cheap but a reasonable price.
Best service out there the employees are awesome they are attentive friendly staff is there willing to assist when we need it , they were kid friendly as well i loved it made me feel like home ????????
absolutely the cleanest, nicest, hotel in wasco and shafter. very thankful you are here. I apologize for the inconvenience we caused. It will never happen. this is a public apology. trying to do the right thing is easily abused by others.
What a lovely place. The hotel has a new and fresh feeling. Decor and amenities were all up to date. Staff was courteous and attentive. I travel a great deal and stay in a good many hotels. This place went above and beyond my expectation. We will be back!
The hotel is very clean and the room was great! We have stayed at this hotel on a prior trip and came back because it was very nice! The breakfast was very good and the room was ample in size and had some nice features!
Clean and updated Best Western. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They were able to make our stay very nice even when we were with a large group. Sam made our check in/check out very easy and was extremely friendly.
This hotel was clean and safe. We used the facility as a base camp for a family wedding being held in Shafter. The accommodations were updated and well-kept. We saw staff cleaning halls, elevator, and lobby multiple times throughout our stay.
New hotel and a nice quiet room with modern appliances, provided a good rest. Nice breakfast. Parking was limited, due to construction I think. Will return when I'm on business in the area. Would recommend.
Looking at this property online is deceiving. Looks new & beautiful. Once there and inside, the property feels older. The scent their using in the halls and lobby is weird smelling and the room furnishings look like something my grandma would have. Wallpaper in the room had several patches poorly done and they made the room feel old & dirty. Next time we will drive further for a nicer stay.
Very good stay. Very pleasant hotel. Nice staff. Very good breakfast with good variety. Room was nice and clean and pleasant. Only problem bed to firm for me. Woke up with a backache but that is s personal problem. My husband was finr
In the middle of BFE, this place was a jem. Staff was very friendly right from the beginning. No lyft, uber or taxi's that far out but the place is cool. The restaurant is kinda small so i say get to breakfast early since they have short hours the place fills up fast.
The Central Valley North of Bakersfield is not an easy place to find excellent lodging. This is the place no matter what you think of the town. It's central to the 99 and the 5 freeways. Decent food, a local Walmart, and other amenities are within one mile of this hotel. The staff was charming and the bed was very comfortable. if you are racing at Buttonwillow and you need a place to stay, this is, by far, your best choice. It's roughly 20 minutes away, but well worth the commute.
Having travelled for 3 months we were delighted with our comfortable stopover in this quiet farming town, a welcome slow down after weeks visiting much bigger and busier places. Our rooms were comfortable, the laundry and fitness centre were good, and it was a short walk to Denny's for a nice 'homestyle' dinner. Breakfast the next morning was also good. A very pleasant place for a stopover between LV and LA.
I do not like to stay any where else. Everyone who works there is polite and respectful. They will elp you with your needs. The breakfast is always fresh and hot. The fitness room is kept clean and all the rooms and the lobby. I love the hot tub and pool. It also has handicap equipment so anyone who has specail needs can also use the pool area.
Haven't been here in years. Forgot what a nice place it is. Will be coming back when in the area. Quiet, clean and friendly. Not an area for fine dining but plenty of cultural restaurants to pick from.
I'm not sure how it gets much better than this. Super nice service, extremely clean hotel (like eat off the floor clean), and nice rooms. Way more than I expected, but now they've raised the bar on my expectations! The cost was a bit more than I wanted, but it was the dove season opener and most places were sold out. Still a good value!
Pleasantry surprised will stay here again from the time you arrive to the time you leave everything was A+ I will stay here again when I come to town. Value and super clean I was a bit surprised much better than expected.
My regular stop for visiting my research plots; always have reliably clean and quiet rooms and friendly staff. Multipler restaurants and gas stations nearby. Convient to to major freeways. Louise Davis CA
I was in business in Wasco and needed accommodations last minute. Staff was most helpful. Location was great for my commute and the room was perfect. Staff is more than helpful! I have booked this hotel since this review and the service is consistent! Thanks!
Tired coming from Seattle, I tried to find a place to stay. Not realizing that it was exactly the time and place when the Solar Eclipse was in 2017 I could not find a reasonable hotel until I found this Best Western in Wasco. From the outside appearance, it does not look much, but the rooms are very nice and clean, and the people very nice and helpful. Breakfast could be a little better, but it was a great stay for an acceptable price under the circumstances. I even had the chance to see the eclipse.
Excellent staff, very clean, breakfast equipped with a variety of food, awesome pool, and a gym that allowed me to squeeze in a few sessions. The front staff went above and beyond in accommodating my additional needs.
Stayed over one night on our way to Napa Valley from San Diego. Very friendly staff...evening and morning. Room was very clean and felt very comfortable with the mint condition of all other aspects of this Best Western. Morning buffet more than adequate.
My wife and I decided to split the drive back from Las Vegas to the Bay Area and made a reservation here. We have had good luck with the Best Western Plus format in the past and this property didn't disappoint. We stayed in a suite and the room was very spacious and very clean. It had all the amenities you could want, refrigerator, microwave etc. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. We also took advantage of a very nice swimming pool, the whole pool area was very clean and properly maintained. A Denny's right next door for dinner, and a good breakfast in the morning rounded out the stay. If you're looking for a place to decompress after Vegas and don't want to drive all the way home, you won't find a better place to stay in the area.
We stayed one night and would definitely go back again. Staff was very friendly, courteous and greeted with a smile. The dining area staff was also there making sure everything was filled. This is one of the best Best Western hotels we have stayed in. Room was very spacious, with everything working good. For us the bed was comfortable. We would recommend this hotel. CLEAN!!
Staying at the Best Western Wasco was unplanned, but in the end staying here was wonderful. Every staff member we encountered were extremely professional and also very pleasant and welcoming. I had called ahead to make a last minute reservation and Pedro was on the money and had everything prepared when we arrived. Check-in was smooth and quick and we got to our rooms without delay or hassle. Great job Pedro. During our stay we also had the opportunity to engage other staff (front desk breakfast service), and both Susan (front desk) and the breakfast service staff (I regret I can not remember her name), were terrific. The breakfast service was wonderful offering a wide variety of tasting and inviting foods, great coffee and personal service.
Tidy, clean and aesthetically pleasing. High ceilings, great room. Good price. Nice little breakfast. Definitely a great stopover in our travels, would recommend and will go back if traveling through again.
The Best Western in Wasco was a very nice hotel that I highly recommend. We have AAA and received a moderate discount. The hotel is clean, with nice decor. Looks almost new. The hotel room was super clean (great housekeepers, thanks!) the king bed was super comfortable and we got a good nights rest. Having a Denny's next door is a good option for meals. Two suggestions: one is that Best Western should allow pets. We did not bring our pet with us on this trip, but we usually stay in La Quinta Inn hotels because they are pet friendly. At the least, Best Western should set aside maybe ten rooms and give guests the option. Two: encourage the desk staff to be a little less formal. I'm the kind of traveler who values the people at the hotel as much as the room. I want to treat them with friendliness, so it would be nice to be welcomed beyond the mere professional formalities. Ask me if there are any sights I would like to see in Wasco, and perhaps recommend some; remind me that Wasco is the rose-growing capital of the world and the downtown water tower has some nice decorative lighting. Some tourists like this kind of thing. Timing is important, so maybe talk about this stuff the next time I walk through the lobby or something. talk to me as a real person, not just a guest. Breakfast was the usual fare of cereals, breads, eggs, sausage and waffles, but it was all hot and decent. Room air-conditioning was fantastic, as outside temps were over a hundred in the summer. Did not have time to use the pool but it looked great. Again, this is a good hotel if you are staying in or passing through Wasco. And give a super Hi to the desk staff when you get there!
Unequivocally this hotel is the best in Wasco as we have stayed in others. The cost is over our usual government rate so it is a stretch for us. It is three times the others in town, but I wouldn't stay in the others Breakfast was good with a variety of fresh items.
We chose to stay here rather than drive another 4 hours home. The hotel is 18 miles off the 5 freeway. A very nice hotel. Wasco doesn't appear to be a great community but hotel was nice and clean. Service was very good. Staff recommended Catrina's for dinner and we were not disappointed. Full breakfast included. Would stay here again.
Would recommend the Wesco BW to everyone. Only 12 minutes off I-5. It was clean, staff was helpful, room was perfect, Nice Denny's next door. Parking for truck, trailer, motor home. Would stay anytime we are in the area.
Traveling from Henderson, NV to Sonoma Wine Country in California we usually stay in Bakersfield. We thought this time we would go a little further so Wasco was our next choice. Wasco is an Agricultural community with many local ethnic restaurants and a Denny's next store. As for the property this is a diamond in the ruff. The facility is well maintained and the service is really great. After traveling all day I enjoyed a wonderful Best Western bed and slept great. Breakfast the next morning was as good as all other BW properties I stayed at. If you're traveling through the Bakersfield area give this hotel a try.
This was a rare time where I had staid and they messed up my check in date usually the best hotel to stay in. I even spoke with the manager on the phone and they were not able to compensate me for the night charged they accidental scheduled me for. Not fair.
Wonderful experience, very quiet and relaxing. Staff was welcoming and provided useful information. Pleased with room and comfort of bed linens and WiFi access in the room. Hope to stay again and to have time to try out the Exercise room.
Very Clean, comfortable and courteous professional service. This facility is conveniently located on Route #46 between Route #5 and Route #99. Have used thius facility numerous times and are very satisfied.
This place was as nice as a high end hotel. The rooms were immaculate and kept up very nicely. The staff was friendly and courteous. They went out of their way to assist and help. The breakfast variety was that of a buffet restaurant. So very quiet and back enough from the highway. Great stop-over hotel.
I was treated very well from my first point of contact at check in. The receptionist was well trained, professional, friendly, and quick. The rooms are nice, well maintained, clean, bed comfortable. Slept well. Checkout was quick and friendly.
This hotel was clean, comfortable and had amazing service. The room was clean, TV was a great size and the neighborhood was good. Some construction but not an issue for me. Definitely staying there again.
We prefer this hotel when in the Bakersfield area. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The price was average. The room was very lean and pleasant. Breakfast was typical continental. The cereal and sausage were great. We plan to stay there again when in the area.
The beds are nice and soft, awesome tv, including free breakfast, but the manager barged into our room and accused us of taking to many showers! He was not friendly and had a rude attitude. Horrible night.
On a trip between Las Vegas and San Francisco my Wife & I stopped at the BW Wasco on spec. It was very clean and comfortable as I would expect from a BW Hotel, all staff that I came into contact with were very friendly and helpful. The only real downside I felt was the price, at 127usd , for a room on a Saturday night "wow" what must they charge during a busy period. But it was a good nights sleep !!!
Best Western Plus in Wasco was a pleasant surprise. Very friendly front desk intake people, including a local restaurant recommendation. King Suite was very reasonably priced and a nice space overall, with a comfortable king bed.
Normally stay in Bakersfield during business trips in Wasco and surrounding communities. Hotel was better than for same dollar value as those in Bakersfield 25 miles away.. Clean with great rooms and a very good breakfast. Area has good services within walking distance plus a new Wal-Mart. In future with rare exception will stay at this hotel. Am encourage now to look for Best Western Plus locations in my business travels around CA
Nice beds, clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was available and smelled great, although I did not partake. Coffee was good. Only thing I would do is update the fitness room equipment.
This is one of the best Best Western I've stayed at. Anytime I'm within 45 miles of this hotel I go there even if it's out of the way a little bit. Breakfast is always hot, fresh, tables always clean, beds comfortable, quite.
Very quick and easy check in. Deck pro Sagar was great and answered all my questions. Check out was just as easy although I don't recall the young lady's name who helped. My bad as she was great also. Lobby was inviting and full of friendly quests. Breakfast very tasty a large selection of hot and cold dishes. Wait staff at breakfast was great too.. Great place to stay.
Last minute meeting with 15 clients. Front desk staff super friendly setting up meeting room. Brand new hotel so everythong is clean and fresh. Very fast wi-fi. Great location in back of Dennys restaurant.
The hotel is great but the manager is rude. The parking lot is a bit odd, part gravel part paved. We are in our 70s and like to unload the car close to the door. There was a temporary tape across the drive but no work. I moved it so we could unload and then going to put it back. The manager came out screaming at me and telling me how I should have unloaded. The language he used on the workmen I heard later was uncalled for. The hotel was great and if he stayed in his office things would be fine.
The stay was comfortable although short and the breakfast was satisfying. Clean rooms and comfy bed. We were very pleased. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a bit extra to have double beds.
Great place to stay Couldn't be happier with the weekend stay here. The staff was excellent, kind and courteous. The room (I had a suite) was affordable and very nice. I really have nothing bad to say about the hotel stay!
I stayed at Best Western Plus Wasco while attending a weekend driving event at Buttonwillow Raceway. There were nearby hotels that were closer to the track and less costly, but once I determined that most of my friends who had been to Buttonwillow on previous occasions were staying at Best Western, I figured there was probably a good reason for that. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet--basically just what you'd want from a convenience hotel. There was a fridge and coffeemaker in the room, and ice just down the hall. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. I bring my own pillow and silk sheets when i travel as I'm sensitive to the bleach most hotel laundries use, and I managed to leave the bag containing them in the room in my haste to check out and get to the track. When I called in a panic upon realizing that, the woman who took my call helpfully offered to go check the room herself and call me back. She called me back within 5 minutes to let me know she'd found them--very kind and considerate!
Little over price for the location, but its very clean, and staff is very nice, I would have stayed longer if the price was not to expensive. Even though there is not much to do in that area, other than visit family
I really enjoyed my stay here. It was clean and safe the town is small and there isnt much to do there is. Dennys for food. But thats about it. You should def stay here because its nice and i cool place
This is one of the best hotels we've stayed at. We travel regularly and Best Western Wasco provides an amazingly clean, comfortable, calming place to sleep. I say amazingly because Wasco is such a tiny community. We've stayed in many more expensive hotels that were nowhere close to Wasco BW. I won't stay anywhere else whenever I visit this area.
I was at a driving event in Buttonwillow and stayed here for the first time. It is a very nice clean new hotel .In the style of a Hampton inn. Defiantly an upgrade from other Best Westerns I have stayed in. Equal distance from the track to the awful old hotels on I5 in Buttonwillow . This will be my new track hotel and should be yours .
What a Nice place to stay on our way home. The room was fresh smelling and clean. The bed very comfortable. Even the approach to the hotel was inviting. The landscaping looked cared for and trim. The driveway was swept clean and uncluttered.
Checked in for one night while travelling through the area. The hotel is very nice and the staff was quick to check us in. Room with king bed is quite spacious and has all amenities, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator.... The A/C was really noisy and we could not get it to low speed. We turned it off and used the fans in the room. Ask for a room facing the back because of road noise from the busy 58. Breakfast was standard fare with a bit of everything. We did not use the outdoor pool. Ask for restaurant recommendations from the staff.
This property is very well maintained, and staff are friendly and courteous. They are also knowledgeable when it comes to the best places to eat locally. Have stayed there twice now while attending drag races, and it couldn't be more conveniently located.
First, the direct customer service staff are wonderful, and the room was comfortable. My issue is with management and the "strict policy" the general manager set. Numerous family members came from out of state for my Mother's memorial. I asked if we could use the Inn's conference room the afternoon after the service, and was sent an email saying no, that was used "strictly for business". I said it was, that we would be reading her will. I did not get a reply until the day of check-in that the GM said we could use the room for $300 for 4 hours. The insulting and transparent game the GM played was unnecessary because I'd already dismissed the topic and had found a restaurant for people to gather. My father, also buried at the Wasco Cemetery, was a POW war hero. My Mother also served at Eagle Field and served humanity throughout her life. I fail to see how a small group of mourners who wanted to honor her memory could have possibly hurt the Inn. And by the way, most people who would have gathered in that room were Wasco Inn hotel guests! I want to know the GM's legal definition of "strictly business" and how he enforces this. Does he pre-approve agendas? Does he sit in the meetings to make sure they are strictly business? His actions were petty and uncaring. But he was the winner, he showed us who's boss.
super clean and great service, the complementary breakfest is very good. the location is pretty good but we usually stay there to attend the drag races in famoso which is about 10 miles away.. this is tne closest nice place to stay.
This little place is in farm country but perfect stop on our way home. Staff greeting after a long trip, they were very nice, and polite. Even caring, the room was ready early. Very clean even the air conditioning was on to greet us. The room setup couldn't be better a couch and chair . We were very suprised at how nice this little B/W is. Everything from the lobby to the room. If ever in its proximity we would definitely stay here again.
This was our first stay at this hotel, Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Highly recommend to stay there if around that area. Small city on highway 46 between Bakersfield and I-5. Limited eating facilities, so don't expect any restaurant other than Dennys.
First, this was about as good a place as one could hope for in an out-of-the-way farming community. Was it New York nice (and cost $1000 a nite)? No. But it was very clean, well appointed, and certainly a price performer. The only thing I would criticize it on is the air conditioners. As with most all hotels in mid-central California they are under-the-window units that, while mostly effective, are also noisy. Very noisy. This B/W Plus has its bathrooms about as far away from the A/C units as if they were in New York. And there is no fan in the bathroom. The result is that the bathrooms are hot and difficult to cool down. We propped our self-closing bathroom door wide open ... but it was still a bit hot. We had a room on the side of the hotel facing Highway 46. I had read the TripAdvisor reviews suggesting we get a room on the back side to avoid highway noise ... but this one was an upgrade. So I figured it would be quieter. Actually I couldn't hear any highway noise because the air conditioner was so loud. That said, the room was actually very nice. And very clean. And the breakfast served complimentary downstairs very good and convenient. And the price was right. The in-room big screen TV was incredible. I don't remember ever seeing one as big and nice in any hotel room anywhere. Aside from the A/C noise, I will stay there again and recommend it to you.
They need people skills and be able to be curious and ask if anything else is needed while they list what they can provide. For example if a wake up call is needed or any tooth paste, tooth brush, etc... this will definitely make the stay more enjoyable and comfortable.
Checked in to the Best Western in Wasco a little bit ago. Though this is a nonsmoking hotel I picked up a faint smell of smoke. Worried that tomorrow I may be charged for smoking (I haven't smoked in 30 years) I thought I better let them know. They insisted we move to another room and we're just as insistent they upgrade us. Customer service is obviously a high priority at this beautiful hotel.
Stay here for one night with the family, rooms are clean, service is good and a breakfast is included but limited hours only from 6am to 9am so if you want to get breakfast on Sunday morning you must get up early, the pool was clean and nice. Would stay again
This was the best Best Western I have stayed at. The facilities were awesome (looked brand new), clean and staff were friendly and professional. Handicap room was great. I would definitely recommend it. The only negative was when I used the 800 number for the reservation I was told it was on Hwy 5 when it was over 25 miles away,
I'm driving from Cali to Texas and needed a late night stay. I had to drive 36 miles off my path to get here, but I'm glad I did. I've stayed at 5 Best Westerns / Plus in the past few weeks, from Texas to north California. In my opinion, the Wasco California hotel should be the flagship training hotel. Telephone reservation was professional and friendly. Both front-desk visits were professional and friendly. I was personally greeted even though I stood behind someone else after 10pm to check-in. The room is gorgeous, spotless, roomy, quiet, safe. The bed is perfect. It's so comfy that I'd love to take a nap after that beautiful breakfast!
This is our second stay at this Best Western Plus and it exceeded our expectations again. The staff are so helpful. The rooms are clean. The location is great. We have stayed at other Best Western Plus hotels and this hotel ranks among the best. I wish all my travels would take me through Wasco.
Not too bad with usual Best Western style and comfort. Pillows were poor, toilet barely flushed (probably a CA water saving nanny state thing) and gym had out of service sign on door but AC worked well as did the internet and it was clean.
Nice little hotel off the beaten track, but convenient for traveling through. Clean, friendly - we will stay there on our next trips to N. California and back. Denny's and fast food only availability in this small town.
We were satisfied with our room, bathroom and the bed, TV, wi-fi -- all good. Breakfast was a bit above average. But we had a restless night because we were on the Hwy side of the building. Loud MC and truck sounds bothered us. Still, we'll come back here when we need a place along this part of 99.
Although this inn was a 30 minute drive out of our way, we thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and breakfast bar. The hotel staff was exceptional and the facilities were outstanding. I would recommend the Best Western Plus Wasco Inn to anyone!
The bed was perfect! Love the sheets. Room is a good size. I don't like the heavy door to the bathroom that self closes. I was on the 3rd floor, and though no one can see in (unless they use a drone), I would like to be able to close the heavy drapes, but that's not possible. The lower floors must have different drapes. The staff was very friendly and professional. The place is clean, clean, clean. The walls are a little thin, but it seems they're that way everywhere. Kids running down the hall and screaming at six in the morning is not the fault of the hotel but the parents. I didn't have the breakfast so I can't speak on that. I like the noon checkout. Had a comfortable stay here. Would definitely stay again and recommend it.
My husband and I were passing through and spent the night here on our way to Yosemite. I was very impressed with how pretty the outside of the hotel is. Also how clean the hotel is. Our room was very comfortable and spotless. There was breakfast included which was great. There was enough variety to please both of us. Christian, the gentleman who checked us in was awesome. He was friendly and polite. Overall it was a good experience. I would stay here again if I find myself in this area again.
Overall stay is great. Breakfast is regular. For long term stay guest, breakfast could be skipped due to its consistency. Haven't had any guest problems since I've been here. Not a bad Hotel for being in the middle of no were. There are other hotels near this one, but they don't come close to the outdoor presentation and indoor quality and cleanliness.
This is a really nice unit in Central California. The staff is very friendly and professional. The property is always clean and well kept with clean rooms, internet availability and flat screens. I really recommend this unit for anyone traveling in Kern County.
Not a bad to stay in Wasco, the best hotel in that city. Having the Dennys next door is a added benefit, so if you get that late night food craving or you miss the hotels breakfast. Good location located on Hwy 46.
This BW is the nicest lodging in town. It is also better than many other Best Western properties. Do not stay anywhere else in Wasco if you care about sanitation, safety, etc. While this would be maybe a 3 star motel in any other town, in Wasco it is definitely their version of a 5 star.
Didn't get the room you thought you reserved: too bad - staff speaks poor English and doesn't really care to fix it. Thin walls, average amenities, not that great of location. All this for an extra high price. Stay in Best Western Bakersfield. Much nicer place, staff and price.
Good place to stop and rest when you are on a long trip and don't want to drive another six hours to get where you are going. This is a half way point between St George and the North Bay Area to visit family and friends
Good hotel in a remote location. Clean rooms. Pleasant service. Average breakfast. I would recommend this hotel. There is not much else in the area, so it was nice to find a Best Western. We were traveling back from the Grand Canyon - family of four - and we had a double queen room.
Stayed here with my wife for a Company event and i could say is thumbs up! This place has a very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very clean and organized and everything seemed to work. Free breakfast, free wifi and free parking... what else can you ask for?! Had an awesome stay there and if I'm ever in the area i wiuld definitely stay there again no doubt!
This hotel is an oasis in a see of oil rigs. The hotel would fit in in citys like Beverly Hills let alone a small oil town like Wasco. The rooms are extrememly nice, staff is excellent and very friendly.
Got stuck in the elevator for 15 to 20 minutes; need I say more? The hotel would be pretty good if the internet was faster than a snail (it was really really slow; almost entirely unusable), and if they properly maintained the elevator so that it wasn't so slow and a waste of time when you get stuck in it.
The hotel is very nice and clean. Adequate parking, room for trucks and trailers, and room is beautiful with many amenities. If you are sensitive to Road noise be sure to ask for a room on the back side of the hotel not the front. That is the only thing that I forgot to do.
This is a great place to stay in Wasco!! Friendly Staff, Pleasant décor and clean room. The Breakfast bar is a nice amenity when your traveling with kids. Quiet surroundings and very comfortable beds.
Nice, clean hotel with great staff that is both professional and friendly. The unit has all the amenities you expect from Best Western and the owners keep everything maintained and clean. The unit is a few miles off the highway but worth the trip. Great for both the traveler as well as the home away from home for the working stiffs like me.
Excellent place to stay on the way to the central California coast. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. Very friendly and helpful staff. There are plenty of places to eat close to the hotel.
This was our first visit to this hotel and while the city is rather tiny and doesn't have any amenities, the hotel was great! We were there for the Hot Rod Reunion at the Famoso Raceway and this hotel was right down the street, so very convenient! It was clean, quiet for the most part and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We found our desk chair was broken when we got to the room, but didn't have a chance to tell them until the next morning. We left for the races and when we got back a new chair was in place. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel when we come back for the next race!!
Very comfortable hotel with nice rooms and a decent complimentary breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff. Relatively new property so everything is clean and works well. Good high-def TV (but the remote is not very good). Although I'm not a fan of the type of air conditioning units in the rooms because of the noise (I'm a light sleeper), the rooms have ceiling fans that provide adequate cooling at night with the AC off.
We have stayed at this Best Western in previous years. It is still a good hotel since Wasco has so few to select from. The rates are reasonable and the hotel is well run. The have a good hot breakfast selection. The rooms are large and well equipped. We stayed on the south side of the building and it was quiet if you kept the windows shut. Since we don't like sleeping under A/C I opened the window but the noise from Hwy. 46 made it impossible to keep it open. The highway is a main thoroughfare between highways 99 and 5 so a lot of trucks use it to cross from one highway to the other. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again.
Having a staff that is engaging and helpful, it made our stay very enjoyable. Will stay again if the need arises that we have a reunion in Wasco. The hotel was very clean and had all the amenities you needed in your room.
Gatherings for breakfast was wonderful. Service was fantastic. Visiting with grads from 40s and 50s did not allow enough time to swim or exercise. Overall experience was great. Hotel and rooms were clean and ready. Employees were very hospitable and welcomed us home. Would love to visit again. Continental breakfast offered adequate variety.
We stayed on route from our Big Sur drive through to the mountains and then Las Vegas. We arrived early at about 1.00 and had to find something to do for an hour before our romm was ready. Wasco does not have much or even a good restaurant so this will only ever be a one night stop. The pool was only available once we got our key and was well positioned for afternoon sun. Our room was nice and the beds were comfortable. We parked at the rear close to the pool so we did not have a hot car in the morning and were able to move luggage out through the back door which operated using our room key - very handy for the pool. A good breakfast and generally good service made up for waiting for our room.
We have stayed here a total of three times and have been very pleased each time. the staff is helpful and genuinely friendly! The room is spotless and comfortable! The included breakfast is very tasty with many choices. The pool is sparkling clean and the pool area is very nice. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to everyone!
Room too close to elevator. It was noisy throughout night and woke me. Next time I'll ask for room at least 3 rooms down from elevator. Other than that the hotel was great and I will stay again and ask for room down from the elevator.
Stayed here on the way to Paso Robles. Staff was excellent. The breakfast was great. Eggs, sausage, muffins, bagels, toast, cereal, juice, fresh fruit, coffee and more. Bed was comfortable & internet was fast. We would stay here again.
This was a one night stop over on our return home after a 10 road trip around California. Wasco is just out in the middle of farm land but this hotel was a charm! One of the best we stayed in on our whole trip! I would certainly return when we drive through there again!
