Best Western Vilnius

It advertised a swimming pool, however it is very unwelcoming and freezing!!! The breakfast was average and never changed for the whole week we stayed. Lots of choice however low quality. The location is in the business district, next door to a lovely shopping centre and 5 min walk from the river. The room and hotel were clean. No bar or place to eat on the hotel on an evening.

I stayed in BW Vilnius hotel for 10 nights this time.I have stayed in this hotel many times before.The location is perfect, the rooms are very nice and cosy, breakfast very tasty and good quality.There is sauna, a pool and a gym on the ground floor of the hotel.Special thank you to FOH staff Mikita,Arturas and Monika! Your attentiveness and smile made my stay comfortable and pleasant.Also many thanks to Oksana who made sure I had everything I needed during my whole stay.Thank you all so much! Well done as always, I shall be returning again!

Great hotel near the hearth of the city with a 20 minutes walk to the old town. Nice rooms, Good service, Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. The only thing I would say who's negative is that it wasnt alot og information. When I checked in, they told me where the shopping mall was and where to go to the city. But no information about where they serve breakfast or at What time. Had to ask myself. On 1.st of january the breakfast was delayed by 4 hours. That would have been Nice to know so I didnt have to wake up so early. They also had a wellnes center and a gym that I knew of before I went, But no information when i got there.

I booked this one because my usual Vilnius hotel was booked out and this seemed to be a normal 4 star hotel. So naive I was. From the outside it all seems fine but the property has a strong Soviet feel. Before midnight, no way to get even a bottle of water. Don't get me wrong, it is clean and the receptionist was nice. But I am going to check out early, even losing 1-2 paid nights as it is too basic to be reasonable. If it was at least cheaper than other 4 star I could find an angle. But seems to me unfit for purpose - unless you crave a Soviet experience

Comfortable hotel with great location, tasty breakfast, clean, with nice view from the window and friendly staff. Close to city center, shopping mall, restaurants We stayed there many times. Recommend for everybody

It is a nice hotel. Its location is very good. The reception stuff are cool. The atmosphere is very quite. The facilities are complete. Nothing more was needed for me. There wasn't many alternatives in the breakfast but it was nice.

The service could had been a little bit welcoming. The reception staff rarely said hello to me when I walked in. That is something you do to make your guests feel welcome. The breakfast was ordinary, nothing special about that. The room was ok. I didn't spend much time there so I didn't need any specialities during my stay. A safe would have been nice to have.

The place is located within walking distance to Old Town (that's if you like walking). The rooms have been upgraded, they have nice modern bathrooms, but the common areas are dated… There's a large conference area with a charming orangery… (I don't know how often it's used, but when we were there it was empty;-(. My major complaint is about the lobby area. The spalling on the ceiling, white patches, even the clocks over the front desk show that they require some attention… The pool is another story. Not only the water is cold, but it doesn't look like it's filtered… (with debris floating on top). The gym is in a tiny room at the back. Didn't use either. On the pros side- they offer really nice breakfast buffet with a large variety of foods (including traditional Lithuanian;-). The staff is also nice and they speak English.

The views from our seventh floor windows were superb, including sights we would visit. The buffet breakfast hade a vast array of offerings - I particularly enjoyed the Lithuanian cheeses with drops of honey and the salted silke herring pieces. The wi-fi in the room was erratic - came and went, stronger in some corners, weaker in others. The front desk was insufficiently manned. Most of the time there was one young man and he did his best! But he could not answer most questions. The hotel is north of the river, close to a shopping mall, but to reach the attractions in the city you have to be able to walk or take the local Uber called Bolt which is relatively inexpensive, especially if there are only two or three in the party. The bathroom had a heated rack which I used to keep the towels warm or dry anything I washed. Good nightly rates.

I am used to good comfort at Best Western hotels in other countries. However, the overall experience at this place was not good. Especially the breakfast. Warm dishes such as fried or scrambled eggs had been repeatedly ice-cold. Not warm, but really cold. On the other side, the fruit juices aren't refrigerated when being refilled. The coffee by the dispenser is appalling, amongst the worst I've ever tasted in any hotel. The food does not vary over a couple of days. The staff at the breakfast room is kind of struggling, at times not up to the job, esp. when it's getting busy. The breakfast room itself is uncomfortable. Either you sit close to the window front in the chilling wind as the staff keeps a door permanently opened or on the far side in dim light. The single room was just tiny with uninviting furniture. Not resembling the pictures available by the hotel. The bathroom is even more tiny with no shelves at all where to place your items. Both our rooms weren't made up once. I checked the bags of free instant coffee in the room. Expiry date was 2019 (!). During night, you hear an intense, buzzing noise, alternating between low and high frequency, from batteries of air conditioners in the outside that would prevent you from sleeping. During our stay, we heard several guests complaining that their rooms didn't match the impression they got from the hotel website. The staff at the reception desk was kind of helpful on most affairs. However, an overall concept for the enterprise seems to be missing.

So glad to arrive here after last two in baltics. Easy check in. Lovely old fashioned styled room but clean and roomy. Weird shower with bath as shower in middle rather than 1 end. Breakfast was decent enough but no warming area for hot food was strange for a big hotel brand. Didn't use other facilities. Good location too, short walk on bus to top of town.

We booked this hotel for our project meeting with all the project partners from 3 different European countries. I want to warn all the other future guests of the hotel - check your invoices after paying your bills. They charge you extra and refuse to give the money back. Our Turkish partners noticed that and they demanded to correct their bill at the place immediately. In Denmark we got used to trust everybody and my mistake was that I had not checked the payed invoice immediately, just after arrival back to Denmark. When I contacted the hotel and wrote about their mistake, they refused to make a refund, referring to misunderstanding. Moreover, most of the days during our staying it was a terrible sewer smell at the hotel. The breakfast was very simple and not the one they promise on their website. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. The rooms look like from the Soviet Union's era. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Great hotel. Located very conveniently. Close to major attractions. 15min leisurely walk to top restaurants etc. The room was ok in size, beds comfortable, good W/C and shower. Staff polite and helpful. Breakfast was good - great selection of foods, but the cutlery needs some treatment. All in all a very good hotel. VFM!!!

We stay for two nights here. Room was nice and spacious (we had upgrade from standard room), with work desk area. We like breakfast, assortment was ok. We used the sauna, yet swimming pool was freezing cold. Please note, that car parking is paid, unless you have promotion offer for that and there are no free parking nearby.

This is very nice and clean place. The holtel is located closely to the old town BUT limited breakfast selection and almost no parking places in front of the hotel. The other option is parking 1.8 euro/hour !

Bad Service, Breakfast and overall experience!! The room was tidy and clean, but thats where the good things about this hotel ended. We booked for a king bed room and instead we got 2 single beds joined together with two separate mattresses which was very inconvenient to sleep, We asked the reception for correction although received reply as nothing can be done! The room Air conditioner didn't work the entire time, as the temperature was really hot in Vilnius around 33 degrees, it was very difficult to be in the room without aircon., the room we asked was suppose to be a non smoking room, although the room had a smoking smell from previous stay which was super terrible as we both are non smokers. Overall it's been a really bad experience and stay... Never staying again and definitely not recommending this Hotel to anyone. Please save yourself from undergoing this experience !

Located approx. 30 mins from VNO airport. A part of the old concrete sovjietstyle complex built around the former hotel Lietuva. The facade looks very new, but the inside is just like the average old style orbis hotel from that era. Requested a high floor room, and was locatedon the 3rd floor. Room size was good for a standard room, Typical old style charmless room, brown&pink coloursceme. Doublebed consisting of two singlebeds put together, minifridge which did not work, useless aircon. Wifi was good. Bathroom has no useable fan to remove humidity, which makes the room smell. Asking for cleaning in the morning as I needed to work coming back did not happen, so 2 days out of 4 nothing happened. coffeetray was not restocked, no linnenchange. Breakfast served from 7am, selection was fine. Indifferent staff. The advertised restaurant is only open for lunch. Fitness center is not open and simple things like info on city tours is too difficult to find for staff... As a diamond select client I was spoiled with a bottle of water.... Would I choose this hotel for my next stay? Definately not! Its hotels like this that makes you re-think if it is worth beeing a loyal customer to BW!

Yesterday we had a reservation with booking in this hotel, we was wIting almost 1 hour to be attended them we go to the room and our surprise was that the room was very dirty and with the bed broken so we go to reception to take another room but they cancell our reservation they didnt give us another room and they dont give back the money so we have to go to another place. Worst experience with a hotel in my live, the trate of the personal was very bad I dont recomended at all

Hotel in a very good location in the city center, only 5-7 minutes to the city center Old Town. The staff is wonderful, the food is delicious, the hotel has all the necessary amenities, the view from the room window is beautiful. Next time I will choose this hotel again

The holliday was perfect! We enjoyed the meal, the service and the place. Infrastructure is very comfortable in the middle of the the city centre, so it is very comfortable to reach all viewable places without carrental

First it's a MOTEL not a hotel, small rooms, worn-out furniture and walls, outdated TV, slowest elevators ever, front office employees are the ones who are doing all the jobs, apparently they work on 24 hours shifts one employee at a time which is very cruel in my opinion. I booked this motel for 2 weeks on a nonrefundable basis and the main reasons I booked it is because of the location and it looks good in the pictures but pictures has nothing to do with the reality. Although my booking is for one queen bed I found that they just stick 2 single beds together leaving a gap in the middle which makes sleeping very uncomfortable, making loud squeeky sounds with the slightest movements, found 2 single blankets each of them can barely cover a child not an adult, requested a full size blanket and shockingly the front office employee said that they don't have. On the first night I woke up feeling really cold at night, discovered that radiators are not working, contacted the front office they told me that it's connected to the government system and they only turn it on if the outside temperature is below 10c and when I said it's not my problem as I need my room to be warm they said unfortunately they can't turn it on but instead they can provide me with a portable heater and they brought me one which didn't work, requested another one and it took them some time to provide but it works yet the blanket issue was never solved. The rooms had no safe box and the only option is to go downstairs to put your valuables in an old fashioned box that has two keys in the presence of the front office employee which eliminates privacy. Room cleaness is absolutely terrible and never completed properly, they always miss cleaning something. In the bathroom there is no shampoo, shower gel or lotion. There is some kind of a magic soap written on it (face, body and hair) which is basically terrible and leaves an oily sticky feeling on the skin. I came from hospitality background and I own and operate a luxury concierge company, never in my like stayed in such terrible place, this motel is just a mess, no feedback or requests is being even considered and no leadership to communicate with. NEVER AGAIN!

We booked this hotel as the pictures made it look quite nice and it had fairly good reviews. We got to the room and it stunk of damp, it was dark and dingey and the bathroom looked and smelt unclean/damp. There was a huge crack in the ceiling and stains on the floor. We did not stay and got a hotel elsewhere that was cheaper and much nicer. This hotel is in desperate need of updating. Wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. Only positive was the reception staff were very nice and helpful.

Myself and friends booked 3 nights here and found the condition of the room dreadful. The room was very dark, had a weird musty smell and there was even massive crack in the ceiling. The room did not look clean. We spoke with staff on site who did show us a suite upstairs that we could have moved into, but this room wasn't in much better condition so we decided to leave the hotel and go somewhere else. The staff on shift ("josh) was lovely and accommodating but the hotel itself was very poor abd not worth the large amount of money we paid when we ended up finding a better hotel for even cheaper.

Had to wait a little at reception, but besides that my experience in the hotel was excellent - it's clean, good looking hotel in a good place. Especially good if it is a business trip, as hotel is located near Vilnius business center.

Convenient location with free and adequate parking. Young lady who checked us in was very helpful - we arrived past midnight due to some delays but she was ready and waiting for us. Interiors and furnishings a bit outdated. Great selection of cold and hot breakfast. Rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Walking distance to Old Town, many restaurants and shopping nearby.

The view was stunning and location was very close to the city center. Room had airconditioning and large bathroom. Beds were ok, but the sheets were quite tired. Breakfast was simple. Stuff was polite and helpful.

Nice place that you can stay and enjoy visit in Lithuania . You definitely needs to consider this place as start point of your visit. City Center is not too far away and you get there by walk without public transport.

I liked everything, I just expected more attention in choosing breakfast. Great place. Good view through the window. Helpful staff. In the room I found everything I needed for a short stay. Convenient parking.

Gym was a joke, extremely small room with poorly working few pieces of equipment. Pool and sauna in pictures looks nice, in reality I wouldn't go there. Hotel seems old and used. Room was ok, breakfast more or less ok, definitely not worth 4*

Furniture looks to be used in hotel since 70s, somehow renovated bathroom, but plus is bathroom had both shower and bath. Colors used in decor are depressive (I had brown colored room on 7th flour). Big mirror is in front of the entrance door so that when you come in you can be scared by yourself in the mirror - like someone is in the room already - need to get used to this. Anyway very good location, good breakfast, restaurant service is fine. Swimming pool is small and not good looking. Would say 3 star hotel.

Well situated with overall good hotel standard. Friendly staff. Some minor disturbances such as the wifi-quality which was unstable, room cleaner didn't clean the toilet, the hot/cold water indicators were reversed in zink and shower.

False advertisment on the webpage, the "spa" was not a spa just a small pool that was really disqusting, teh gy was not a gym and many of the things didn´t work one in company was sick from the breakfast.

Hotel was very nice, room was quite big and quite. Near city center and shopping places. Also near is several places to take dinner as London Grill. Old city is near and can walk in few minutes. Would stay also other time.

Rather big hotel in the new center of city. The old part is close and you can see it from your window. Rooms are pretty much old style (90' style), but bathroom is very very big! Room also normal size. Breakfast overall was fine- you can even get salmon.

I usually stay in B&W, when in Vilnius. Especoially, when traveling with car, this is deal location: usually parking space, and easy access to all directions. Hotel is clean, staff is friendly and breakfast is good. Relatively short distance to riverbank and old town. Shopping center CUP is located very near.

This hotel has an excellent location just over the river on the "new" side of Vilnius. It is just a hop from the green bridge and on the other side of the road from the Europa centre, so several buses come directly here from the airport, there is plenty of shopping available in Vilnius scale at least and the old town and main street are a short walk away. The hotel itself is comfortable enough and the rooms are not at all as dated as it seems from the hotel photos. Breakfast is good and includes porridge made from oat groats. You can easily have a healthy and tasty breakfast here, which is not as self-evident as it sounds. The rooms have a roomy bathroom with separate shower and bath and everything seems clean. I got a great deal on the accommodation and the value turned out to be excellent. A solid three and a half stars.

We stayed for 2 nights on our trip around Latvia, Lithuania & Estonia. The hotel was easy to find with free parking. Check in was straight forward and quick. Room was abit dated but had the biggest bathroom we've ever seen! The problem with the bathroom was the damn towel rail! It was boiling hot weather and theres no way of turning it off so it was boiling in there and as it was so hot outside, the window being open did nothing. Other than that the shower was good plus there was also a seperate bath. There was air con but not very powerful but it was better than nothing. Bed comfy. There was also tea, coffee plus a mini bar in room. The breakfast selection was massive, different eggs, bacon, cold meats, cheese, cereals, loads of fresh fruit. Definately the best breakfast of our 2 week trip. The walk to the city was around 20 minutes. We would definately choose this hotel again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a buffet with a lot of choice but can be crowded with coach parties. I was up graded to a suite and the room was prefect. The location is a 15 minute walk to the centre but close to the shopping centre.

Has a nice location in the business district near shopping centres not far from the main cathedral in Vilnius about 15 mins walk. Staff are very friendly, breakfast is average but good enough to start the day. The room is nice and clean with coffee and tea facilities. I gave it 3stars because there is no safe to lock your valuables in the room.

Get what you expect for a business chain. Breakfast is good, rooms are what you expect for a business hotel - clean, if a little dated. Soviet style decor but otherwise perfectly good hotel. FYI strip club round the corner from hotel entrance was amusing but didn't cause issues. Sometimes hear the thumping of music.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I occasionally go on short solo city breaks and this had everything I look for in a hotel: nice comfortable room, good free wifi, decent buffet breakfast and not too far from the city centre. The hotel is also on the bus route from the airport. The shopping centre next door has several restaurants which are open late. I ate at Charlie Pizza each night due to the variety, quality and value of the meals. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is located near to the old town (about 15 min walk) and not so far (by car) from the train station, malls and other touristic attractions. Breakfast was great and with a lot of options. My room for 3 guests was small but the bathroom was large enough. Wi-Fi Internet connection was great. Staff was very friendly and always ready to help. I did not use the indoor pool or the small fitness room. The lobby and the bathroom was always clean.

I ordered room in this hotel because it is very close to the office I was working in for these 3 days. The hotel was not renovated this year, but everything vars working as it should, and it was clean and nice. The price was really nice, and I could order a suite at half the price of a single room of other hotels I was looking at when I ordered. Breakfast - very OK.

Stayed here for two nights as part of a group tour. Location ok if you don't mind a good walk (about 10-15 minutes) into the old town but it is next door to some good shopping malls. We had a twin bedded room. Comfortable beds with clean linen. Tv, fridge and free WiFi that worked well. Plenty of space and wardrobes. It was very warm in the room but we were able to open windows which was a bonus or the aircon did work. We were on the fifth floor and at the front so a little noisy as it's near a main road. We were extremely grateful to have a kettle and tea/coffee facilities, definitely a bonus and unusual in the Baltic's. We had a large bathroom with shower over the bath. Unfortunately the shower head would not stay up so it was impossible to stand under the shower but it was a good shower with plenty of hot water. We had a group meal in the restaurant which was delicious and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice for everyone. Would definitely stay here again.

My stay in Best Western was good and comfortable. The rooms ar a bit dates but warm and relatively big. We really liked that there is a small social restaurant at 50 meters away from it where people with a disability serve delicious pancakes. All together it was a very nice stay and I can recomment booking here.

Rooms were warm and relatively spacious. Breakfast is ok but the gym area could be larger. Doesn't feel like a 4* hotel that you would find elsewhere but the prices are very reasonable. It's in an easy to get to area and quite close to the main attractions.

Neat, clean, friendly, confortable hotel with indoor pool and sauna. Restaurant: Breakfast and dinner excellent. Good for sightseeing Vilnius. 950 m distance / 15 minutes walking to center of Old Town.

Extremely poor environment and poor breakfast. Would not recommend to anyone, plenty of better price/quality options in Vilnius. Rooms were from 80s and cold during September. Ruined my Vilnis stay, actually.

For what it's worth, the location is really great for business. It also has all the necessary just across the street. The service is great, the receptionists are helpful and the cleaning lady kept my room perfectly. I would recommend it!! Thank you!!

I am travelling very much, so I've become a real hotel expert. I am your regular adviser, visiting only better hotels, mostly 4-and 5-star ones, sometimes also 3-star hotel, but not lower cathegory. Best Wetsren Vilnius is well located, not far from the old town, nearby big shopping center. My room was comfortable and clean, with the mini bar and the kettle, but I missed very much the in-room safe, which you have in almost all 4-star hotel. The bathroom was also nice and clean and the breakfast was very good and abundant. The staff on reception is kind and you get there free apples. But I have some remarks: - Usually you get in good hotel the welcome drink on arrival. Not here. - Very often you get in the room the free bottle of water, marked "with hotel compliments". Not here. - I had the room in the seventh floor and a had a good view. There are two small lifts, which are quite slow. For 3 persons maximum, if one of them has some luggage. - I've already mentionned there is no safe in the room. - There are no toiletteries in the bathroom, just liquid soap and shampoo, which is OK, but good hotels have something else. - I had no BBC World channel on TV, even if it is marked on the list of TV programmes as channel 12, which doesn't exist. It goes from 11 to 13. - I like to have the quiet breakfast at 7 o'clock, but it is not quiet, as they have different groups, which invade the two breakfast rooms and they occupy all buffet tables, so you have to wait patiently to get what you want. In good hotels they have separate breakfast room for groups, so they don't disturb individual guests. - The last day I had my flight at 9 am, so I had to leave the hotel at 7.00 am, when the breakfast room opens. I asked to have breakfast at 6.30. It wasn't possible, so I ordered the breakfast bag. I got very poor breakfast in it, in comparison to the rich buffet breakfast (no yogourt, no fruits, no juice etc.)

Although the hotel is a 10 minute walk from the city centre it is pleasantly situated near the banks of the river and near 2 shopping centres. The room was comfortable and clean but there was no way we could get the minibar working despite mentioning it several times in reception.They did offer to change us to another room but once we had unpacked it hardly seemed worth it. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak excellent English. The breakfast was good and plentiful.

Friendly staff, but gym is just a tiny, small room with no gym facilities whatsoever,,,no weights..nothing! Don't rely on the gym! Sauna is too small for such a big hotel...and when fully booked ...it is very hard=== Otherwise, the location is great!

I stayed here for 5 nights on my 2nd trip to Vilnius. Very late arrival but friendly check on and staff always happy to help(city maps, taxis, umbrellas etc). Clean, quiet room on top floor with a spacious bathroom and good air con. Good breakfast buffet and good standard of food for dining in. This hotel has a calm, old-fashioned feel - I would stay here again

Good BW hotel located at the border of the historic center (just a bridge and few meters by foot) but also located in the new shopping center area of vilnius. We usually choose BW as a sinonimous of standard quality and kindness.

....to stay when you visit Vilnius. It's not exactly city center but location is good and the staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast is good and it's clean everywhere... You get a lot of hotel for the money. For me, as Swedish, it's very cheap price. You have access to swimingpool and recreation room. I can recomend it!! Sooo how many characters have I written now?

Great hotel very close to city centre and Old Town. Welcoming and nice staff at arrival, during stay and check out. Very nice corner room (Suite). Facilities such as sauna and pool was a great bonus. I can highly recommend BW Vilnius for both private as well as business trips. One whole floor was being renovated at the time but there were no signs of ruckus and made no impact on our stay. (Very impressed with how that was carried out by the carpenters and management). All in all a great stay. Thank you BW Vilnius. Christian with family

Luckily i was upgraded to a large suite, even if I was alone, so great. Very kind staff and i felt welcome and safe. Kind of large breakfast but I wish for more, though sometimes less is more but then it better should be good. Close to one large shoppingmall and yes , i like the Hotel and i Will be back .

we had a nice room with a nice view. the hotel was quiet and clean and only needs minor improvements. but good value for money. the staff was very friendly and breakfast was decent. the gym and pool area could be better and shower pressure was not great. other than that great stay.

We stayed for 3 nights here during our trip to Vilnius. The stuff is very nice, room is also nice and kept clean. However, the border of bath in bathroom is very high and it's dangerous to go over it. Fitness room has broken running machine. It worked, but sometimes gave kind of unexpected short stops. The pool is also very disappointed. It's overall 10 meters length, and only 2 people can swim at the same time. This is not a pool, actually. The breakfast is good, but nothing was prepared on demand. All kind of food was pre-cooked.

The location of the hotel is excellent since it is close to old town. There is a shopping mall win supermarket, a variety of restaurants that you can choose. The hotel room is spacious compare to other hotels in Europe. Breakfast is excellent with smoked salmon, pancake and fruit. It is a very good choice no matter you are visiting Vilnius for leisure and business

I stay hotel first time and was good, parking nearest of hotel. Check inn and out very fast. Personal is very helpful and can give tips to check city. Room interior is ok only my room heating temperature is to much and door was sound isolastion problem. Totaly I plan stay this hotel next time when price is not increase

The hotel is not very far from the city center, and it is easily reachable from the airport through the bus 3G or 88. Nearby there is a very modern mall where you can find also a supermarket. Very good staff, courtesy and friendly.

Not as nice as other hotels on my trip. Room was kind of small -- had 2 small Twin beds. Out-dated decor. No safe in room for valuables (a major disappointment). Room was clean. Breakfast was good. So-so location. There was a large mall across the street with restaurants and food court. Not very convenient to Old Town and tourist attractions

I feel it necessary to set the circumstances of my stay at the best western. 3 nights, alone, on a business trip. The hotel was chosen primarily for its geographical location, 3mins away from the office I was visiting. Here's a breakdown in order of importance, Cleanliness - 4/5 very clean. Bed - 4/5 slept well. Facilities 3/5 - Bathroom was v clean, Bath was a good size but the shower was an absolute pain. There was no way of turning it on without enduring a blast of cold water to the mid section. Decor 2/5 outdated beige-a-thon. Staff 4/5 all very pleasant, and I got an extra hour added so I could check out late. Food - N/A can't really comment as I don't eat breakfast. In summary, For the price and the location this was more than suitable, very happy with my stay. Would I re-book? Yes. Would I stay here on vacation? No.

Rather tired place. A bit worn at the edges. I gave it a four on the basis of the size of the room. In this day and age when hotels seem to compete with each other to squeeze the required facilitates into smaller and smaller space, this was a refreshing change! Spacious bathroom too! The bar is in the dining room so no points scored there. Breakfast was standard Baltic but well replenished for a very full session.

There is plenty of free car parking outside the hotel. We quickly checked in and went to our room where the problems started. 1. There room was stuffy do I went to open the ceiling to floor door and it was jammed. I didn't want to force it so called Reception for help. About 20 minutes later a guy arrived and tried to open it and failed. He said he would send someone up from maintenance to sort it out. Half an our went by and no one showed up so I called Reception and was advised no one was available to repair it for 3 days, which was out check out day. I managed to open it myself and fixed the problem. 2. The toilet was making a noise all the time and I had to close the door to not hear the noise when trying to sleep. Reception said this would also take 3 days to fix and refused to let me change room. 3. I called before booking to ask for a room with a nice view of the river and was promised this, so made the booking. I called the day before arrival to confirm this and was advised all was ok. When I got to the room all I could see was a building site and main road. The builders started at 6.30am each day. The hotel offers a wide variety buffet for breakfast. But the bacon is floating in grease. The waitresses all has unbelievably miserable faces and just removed your plates and glasses without asking if you had finished with them. The swimming pool is tiny and looks like no one has bothered with it for 30 years. If you come out of he front door of the hotel and turn right the first this you will see is the Eden strip club. The flashing red lights from the club will light up your room at night if you are on that side of the hotel. There are 2 shopping malls close to the hotel and the closest has a do it your self laundetette on the 4th floor. Washing is 5 Euros and drying is 2 Euros. It's open until 10pm. It is about a 5 minute walk to the river and 15 minutes to the old town.

Location was excellent, bus and airport bus stop nearby. Room was outdated, so was the whole hotel from 70's. Breakfast was tasty, though every morning the same. Wi-fi worked well. Staff was very helpful and nice. We slept also well.

Decent hotel situated at 15-20 minutes walk to the old city; room is pretty average, with wi-fi; staff was very nice and ready to help. Interesting fact, there was an ironing room at my floor, good for the shirts that didn't resist too well to the luggage transportation :) . The breakfast was good. Overall a satisfying stay!

Hi, we were in this Hotel last November with two small children. We took a bit more expensive room for families, which is more like a suite: has bedroom, living room, store room. The sofa in the living room is convertible to bed ;) We know the Best Western standarts, so nothing more, nothing less. The place is very good, it is in city centre, all activities reachable. Hotel looks old-style, furniture like from 80's but still in the good shape. Hotel has small gym, where you'll find runing track, bicycle, and some other stuff, but not too much, cause room is not big, maybe 20 square meters. It has also swimming pool and sauna, they are also small ;) The place was mine on Sunday morning at 10 AM. Swimming pool 3x6 m, sauna for 3-4 persons, need to let them know, cause it is rare used by guests so its not always on ;) Breakfast was good, choise-big enough! Breakfast is served in the banqueting hall i guess, looks posh. All the staff- very friendly and helpfull.

Because its location is not great --a fifteen-minute walk from downtown, and because the room has not got a safe, I would not include this good hotel in the top category. But the rooms are comfy, same as the beds and all facilities included. There is a fridge, a desk and a small table in the room, and the shower is very good. Breakfast has all the food you might expect at this level, hot meals included. And the service is also very good.

We spent the weekend at the Best Western in Vilnius. From the time of check in the staff were very helpful and their English is excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast buffet has a very good selection of cereals, cold and hot items. We were very satisfied and recommend this hotel as the Airport bus line stops right across from the hotel and easy walking distance into town. Thanks for a great weekend!!!

I was here for two nights. Check in and check out went smoothly. My room was comfortable but near the lifts and quite noisy. The breakfast was ok, as was the restaurant. Everything worked ok but nothing was terribly special.

This is a simple hotel, or equivalent Hostel hostel. The sound of lift, the neighbors, who walks in the corridor. At night can hear what is happening outside.No hygiene measures, bearing in mind that the hotel has four stars.Rooms clear but very very small. Shower is extremely small. Compared to other 3/4 star hotels in Vilnius, Best Western Hotel is much worse.

Well located Descent services and breakfast However even renovated room can not hide communistic . heritage of that hotel starting from bathroom, not really professional room setting, narrow elevator until general style of entire site.

The bonus of this hotel is free parking and maybe breakfast. The rest ... The rooms ( at least so called "economy" ) are very small with the outdated furniture in "back 2 USSR" style. I got a number where heating do not work properly, so the atmosphere was very invigorating. Shower was also very small with just shower curtain that adheres to the body. The room was naturally build across elevator ( not even near !! ) so the noise from it goes like a "free bonus". Do you imagine that there's no lights at all in the corridor area and only 2 bulbs in the ceiling area near the windows at all ? This this hotel it's overrated, it's much more closer to 3***, it's look that from 4* only pricing is taken, incl. overpriced minibar.

This is mid-range BW very close to two shopping centers and some 10 minutes from the old town. As BW Diamond got upgrade to suite, which was clean, big, but some renovations could be needed soon, as carpet and furniture feel old and worn. Wi-fi is free and fast, sleep quality could be better (if mattress would be newer), and bathroom setup is a bit odd (very narrow bath). Breakfast quite ok. Parking free in-front of the hotel. Staff very friendly.

This hotel was our residence for 3 nights as we participated in a group tour of the Baltics. It was the closest to the North American experience of the 3 hotels we stayed in on our tour. There was an electric kettle in the room for making tea and coffee and a tub in the bathroom. The bath tub was very slippery with a high side making showering treacherous. More space than in many European hotel rooms. Very clean. The buffet breakfast was okay - very crowded. Eggs tasted like they could have been powdered and reconstituted. Lots of other choices including fresh fruit, pastries, bread, cheeses, meats, pancakes and cereal. Free wi-fi in all rooms. Within walking distance of the old town and city centre. 2 shopping malls very close by.

I've just spent about 10 nights here. Generally not bad at all. It does need some tweaking to tidy it up, and bring it a little more up to the standard (service related) of its neighbouring hotel, the radisson blu. Examples would be the lifts in the hotel. There are two, that I could find. Each says they hold 5 people. Not possible without death being involved. And if you have a suitcase and bag not a chance. And this is one of the problems, whilst there, the hotel had a number of coach parties, each with 50 people. So once checked in, they head for the lifts, and no one else can use them for the next 30/60mins. There is also an issue with the hot water. I thought it was it my room, but reception told me all the rooms, the water is so so hot.. Be warned, you could burn yourself. I had to put cold on full, then just keep moving hot a very little at a time. Seriously watch out. The restaurant encompasses a bar, but not an area where you can just have a drink. It would have been nice to just chill in the bar area, with some snacks. At breakfast the coach parties all come down at the same time which then means there are not enough tables for other guests. I was lucky to find a spare seat with the Chinese coach party so sat there. The rest of the hotel is ok, just looking quite tired as said before, but I have to say, my main gripe with any hotel is the customer service. On two occasions I witnessed the lack of customer service. Once at breakfast, one of the waitresses just did not smile on any of the days I saw her. She was then putting some more food out, and just threw the metal tray ( literally threw it) onto the table.. It did wake everyone up. The second one was in the evening. All I asked for was some vegetables. On arrival there was salad, so just a misunderstanding, so I just asked nicely for some hot vegetables. The waitress tutted, and in front of me rolled her eyes, as if it was too much to ask. A little customer service goes a long way. Did not eat there again and went across to the radisson blu where service was different - maybe what you pay for. Generally though not a bad hotel just as said, a couple of issues.

The Hotel is in excellent location. The hotel has very comfortable rooms and equipped with all comforts (air conditioning, complimentary toiletries, mini-bar and free wifi very good), the structure is a little old. Breakfast decent with choice of sweet and savory.

cleaning of the rooms have to be done earlier, let's say during the morning and NOT during late afternoon (5 p.m.). This to increase the comfortable of the guests who want to have a rest in the afternoon.

The hotel is located quite central and is within walking distance of many of the interesting places to visit while in Vilnius. The service is good and friendly staff help with information. The rooms are standard, clean. Breakfast is good and dinner was tasty and well cooked.

Lovely service, specially the angelic ladies at the reception are always helpful and caring! Room upgrades through Best Western Rewards are worth while to ask for everytime. The restaurant is excellent! The hot breakfast is not bad, but sometimes not really hot anymore ...

O.K. so it's not the Ritz, St. Regis or 5 star... True the rooms are small and the amenities are sparse; however you get what you pay for. Front desk staff friendly, helpful and considerate. Breakfast not deluxe but adequate. Walking distance to other night time activities and old city convenient. So you can save on the accommodation and spend on local restaurants, tours, etc. Note: Hotel will help you get legitimate taxis to airport, otherwise con artist cabbies can easily be found in Vilnius.

The flight delayed a bit from Copenhagen so we arrived hotel after midnight and need good rest indeed as we will start quite early next day. However, unable to sleep cos very noisy outside, later found out that the beer bar on the ground floor just right next to the hotel is open till 4am.

Quite surprisingly - the advertising promised a complete 4 star hotel, but was it worth it? not sure even now, but the old building and worn out carpets and shelves were compensated by total cleanness and the view from the window. Ah, and breakfast was placatory - nourishing, fresh and tasty. Besides, the location is perfect - just near the Radisson and the Green Bridge - 10 minutes walk to the center of the city. All shops and cafes are nearby.

I resisted touching the bedspread, the upholtstered armchair and everything upon check-in. They seemed so dirty. But surprisingly everything looked different the next day in broad daylight. Things were not that shabby afterall. The gloomy colours of the carpet and the fabrics used here and there probably explain why everything looked so worn out. The bedsheet was actually crisply clean. I was also lucky to have got a room at the end of the corridor. The toilet seemed new, sparkling clean in white marble with WINDOWS. That means it was not dark and gloomy like the room my mother got. Breakfast was passable. Couldn't find a table. Too many guests.

Building is old; breakfast is good except for the lack of fruit (only a few oranges). Black outs don't serve the purpose of letting you sleep without morning sunshine coming in. Pool is nasty (never found it clean). Gym is outdated. I'm sure there are better choices in town for the price.

Well, I like this brand and it's always among preffered hotels, when planning a trip. What are the values for me: good facilities, good bed, good pillows, great service. This time everything went wrong: 1. the building is totally worn out. Renovation needed ASAP! 2. Beds and pillows are not typically good, but unexpectedly bad, 3. Great service. I was offered by the Reception stuff to call a taxi, I got it, and it turned out, that this 25 years old Audi 100 is taking me at the tripple price of 23 Euros instead of normal 8 Euros... 4. Aweful noise all the night in the street because of neighbouring bar and strip club. Loads of drunk hicks are flunning outside till 5 a.m. That's not Best Western. Good points are: 1. Reasonable price 2. Good position. Summary: I don't recommend this hotel. Shame on you, Best Western!

The hotel was very old everything in the room and in the lobby . Except the bedsheets. Needs reconstruction!!! And fall"facelift" . Vilnius is very beautiful city and has another place for your accomodation. Nothing else . You will pay a little more and you live in better hotel.

The hotel is in a good location, very near the center and is quite. Three things should be imporvised urgently: the internet because it has a lot of beeakdowns; the existence of a sports channel in the room and finally a tv in the bar... In general the services are good, very sinpathic people and the fym and the swimming pool are ok.

First things first...Best Western is in an excellent location just a 10 minute walk from Old Town. The room are spacious and the bathrooms are HUGE. The staff were courteous and polite with the right amount of attentiveness.. Breakfast was that great at all and they were very slow to open up an adjoining room when the breakfast area became packed and I mean 3 strangers at my table packed. However... while taking a shower I received an electric shock. The ceilings in the bathroom are metal slats and an errant exposed wire was obviously touching the slats. Just to make sure I wasn't imagining things I put my hand on the slats a second time (stupid I know!!) and received the same shock. Yes I'm 6'1 and for me its was very very easy to touch them but just as easy for a tall child. I did report it to staff who were genuinely very concerned... Room 417 if you get it asked to be moved....Oh BTW.... Hotel is next door to a strip club... So for "stag do's" its perfect!!! :-)

One of the better Best Westerns I have stayed in. It isn't very good but it is better than average. Friendly staff. Clean. Reasonable breakfast. It is next door to some depressing shopping but the Beer museum bar next door is well worth checking out. Avoid the Chinese restaurant around the corner....

Nice clean hotel with good connectivity to the old town and shopping center. Room looked a bit odd though even though it was spacious. Bathroom was mediocre. Anyways value for money hotel at that location.

I got a room in 4th floor. Nice view, good breakfast. Room has conditionair. You don't have to ask for kettle-it's already there. Two shopping places nearby and planetarium. Loved conference room. We were about 60people there-everything was ok.

Hotel is very old, the furniture is old, the carpet as well. The level of cleanliness is very average too. Breakfast, however, was very good and fulfilling. The elevator is so old, it could be shown at the museum. In my opinion the price and quality are not fair in this case. The reception and welcome was really nice and the staff was nice.

Late arrival, quick and efficient check-in, the reception personal was very nice during my stay. The room is quite big, 2 beds with good mattress, big TV, very clean. The bathroom is nice too with everything needed. There is a bath tub and it is quite high... so there is a plastic stool present to help...might be tricky for some people... There is this famous sticker about the towel being reused, but unfortunately the cleaner change the towels everyday! So Best Western why put a sticker !!! The breakfast is nice but the personnel seems to be "depressed?" however the work is done...a little smyle would be nice ! ?? It is not on the old town side, so you will need to walk a bit to get there. There is a fitness room, the material is quite old and really basic, it should be replaced...there is a pool but i didn't use it. I would definitely come back to this hotel!

Super kind personal. Situated in Very Good. Shortly to Old town and shopping centres. Breakfast was typical european style But waitresses were Very professionals. Clean and tidy dining room. Room was mostly clean. Carpet on the Floors I didn't like.

Great location just minutes from the main sights . Rooms were spotless and of a standard you would expect from Best Western. Staff were wellcoming and friendly and did all they could to help. We were disappointed with the bar area as there was no lounge . We arrived late and wanted a drink after our journey . Whilst this was not a problem we had to sit at tables laid for the next mornings breakfast . The breakfast was very disappointing . Poor quality coffee ( from a vending machine ) and cooked food that had been on the warmer for far too long . No cooked vegetarian option other than 'steamed vegetables ' and boiled rice ( very unusual choice for breakfast !! ) . The toaster was an absolute joke and I actually gave up waiting for it to perform its claimed function.on the second morning of our stay , staff began cleaning using sprays whilst ourselves and others were still trying to eat ( there was almost an hour of the advertised breakfast window left ). All said the hotel was spotlessly clean , the rooms were good , bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious . Would stay again but would expect the breakfast and bar arrangements to be reviewed .

I stayed 2 nights (business trip). My opinion is that hotel is with good location, but not renovated in the last years, big room and bathroom, with nice view, not so good breakfast, but friendly staff.

Go there if you want to feel the spirit on USSR hotel from 1980s. A bit facelifted, but the spirit on 1980s is still there. The biggest irony is that this place is called "Best Western", in fact being "not the best Eastern". Fair to say that staff is friendly, rooms kind of ok for 3 star. But breakfast food was disgusting. Never ever before I used this heavy term in my feedback, but I'm just forced to do so this time. I wonder how is it possible to make fried eggs and pancakes taste disgusting, but the chef did it.

Friendly staff, good breakfast and close to the heart of the city. Perfect location for a conference. The hotel is well equipped to hold conferences for more than 100 people. The rooms are nice and tidy although the carpet can use a make-over.

Four stars, hmmm maybe! :)Facilities hotel, location in town, staff, brekfast is good. But the smell of room been bad, looks like its been smoky room before. Outside road construction this time so can bee noisey.

I spent two nights in this Hotel for a business travel. It is conveniently located, closed to the city center but the neighbourhoods are not very nice. My room was fine, normal four stars standards, looking like many other Best Western hotels around the world. Breakfast also standard, nothing special. I won't take my family there for vacation

Plenty of space in my suite, but overall the hotel felt a little run down, like an 80s office block and not terribly clean. Location is very good, especially for those who want quick access to the two strip clubs next door. Vilnius has much better hotels though.

Excellent hotels. Very friendly and hospitable staff. I had a good time and would not hesitate to recommend it. You will feel at home and be served by lovely staff, ready to assist should need arise. I must make a point of going back soon.

Once again a franchise partner that does little to justify the "Best" of the brand. Our room (507) at first our room appeared more than adequate but in the bathroom the shower curtain and its pole were lying on the floor and one bedside light was not working. If you like early morning tea or coffee you had better take a kettle and the makings with you as nothing is provided. Having to pay 4 Euros for a bottle of water in what is rated as a four star hotel is scandalous. We tried to get dinner about 7.15 p.m on a Friday evening but ere told we would have to wait at least one hour as the kitchen was busy there were six people n the unattractive dining room and only six of the fifteen or so tables were set ready for occupation.

An average hotel. What you'd expect from a best western. The beds were comfy and the room was comfortable. The hotel is about a 20minute walk from the old town centre. You would probably want a hotel with a better location if you were here on vacation. I imagine it's perfect for a cheapish hotel. However, if you're here on business stay in the Radisson Blu across the road.
