Best Western Sheridan Center

Flew into Sheridan for a funeral. Hoped to check-in early so we could change after our flight and before going to the funeral home. I never take early check-in for granted, but as there were only 3 cars in the entire parking lot, I was optimistic. The lobby was dark and empty, appeared unlighted with no one in the breakfast area or at the counter. Rang the bell at the desk. The clerk who came out simply stated "Check-in is at 3PM". I asked if there was any room clean/available for early check-in. He repeated "Check-in is at 3 PM". Never asked our name, never looked at our reservation or room type request. Basically, no one allowed to check-in before 3 even if the entire hotel is empty? My husband and I walked out and went to the Hampton Inn. The clerk there said that if she had a cleaned room available, we had it. We were in a room within 5 minutes. No comparison. Light and bright hotel, coffee 24 hours in the lobby and warm cookies every night. Friendly staff and clean room. The only good thing I can say of the Best Western is that it did have a generous cancellation policy. I was able to cancel a 3 day stay (paying cash, not points) without any penalty. I'm used to a hospitality industry that can, well, be "hospitable" and accommodate when possible. I'm very surprised by the BW attitude. I hope it was simply a lazy clerk and not reflective of management or Best Western in general...

Went for a tournament and had a great experience. The check-in was quick and the agent was super friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was warm and a great selection. We enjoyed how close it was to restaurants.

I know it's not under staff control to keep noise to a level, but wow those walls are thin. Slamming doors and people stomping non stop. Whether it was 5am or 10pm we were up! The lounge on a Saturday night closed at 7. Employees were not friendly. No hot tub. Place is definitely ran down. Breakfast was not great. Coffee was even worse.

We always love staying at this Best Western. Western feel with small town character. Breakfast was included and expansive. Customer Service was top notch. The pool was closed, but we were given passes to the local YMCA that included the entire facilities. The kids played in the large playland, adults were able to work out, and everyone enjoyed the large pool, slides, and whirlpool. Only downfall is that the showerhead in the hotel bathroom is way too low! Not a quick fix, but would make the experience that much better if they did.

Most often we stay at Sheridan Best Western because we are visiting family. We always look forward to Hannah at the front desk. The rooms are dated but we like the retro motor inn style. Our stay is always clean, comfortable and a good value. We appreciate the pet policy.

ABSOLUTLEY the worst experience ever from the front desk lady Alyssa being absolutely rude and unwilling to help us. To getting to our room after a long day of basketball for my daughter to going to shower and there was clumps of hair all over the shower, which I cleaned it myself to crawling in bed only to find hair lots and lots of hair in our bed and after further looking there was brown stains all over the sheets. I was provided clean sheets which I had to change myself. I then emailed the hotel manager, who has zero customer service and acted like he could have cared less, I asked for a refund for the room, he offered to refund me $60 which isn't even half of what I paid for said room. 10/10 would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone.

The office is located on one side of the busy street and the rooms are located on the other side of the busiest street in sheridan, they have no elevators, the beds are uncomfortable and really itchy,the fridge wouldn't work and the toilet seats are super small.i wouldn't really recommend this place to anyone

Stopover for a night. Old type hotel, doors on outside, no lift/elevator. We had a room on the ground floor. The bed was very clean and comfortable. However the carpet was filthy and stained, don't know when it was last cleaned - it is disgraceful. The arm chair was also very dirty. The door and frame in the bathroom badly scratched and scuffed. The restaurant and sports bar has a small menu, very little choice for a vegetarian, so ended up with sweet potato fries and salad, which were good. Breakfast usual BW fare, but not too bad. The lady in charge of the breakfast room is so friendly, helpful and attentive.

The carpet is stained and torn. Malfunctioning toilet. Broken safety latch, Filthy door handles. Rooms need updating. Cleanliness protocol needs monitoring. Dark and uninviting breakfast room. Breakfast as expected for budget lodging. Desk staff very nice. Recommend staying elsewhere.

Stayed overnight to break the journey to Yellowstone. Hannah greeted us warmly. She gave us a thorough information regarding the accommodation & the nearby restaurants. She even took us to our room . Unfortunately it was struggle to open the room door as the key card mechanism was faulty. Hannah came to the room again and offered an alternative room. We opted however to stay as we'd “mastered” the method for getting in. It was a little comical every time we have to open the room which added to the experience! The hotel promised however that they would get the issue fixed for the next occupant. The breakfast has good selections of hot food. It has a bar & restaurant with hot food to choose from - which we found convenient rather than finding somewhere outside. Overall it was comfortable stay.

Arrived without a reservation. Found lots of problems and staff was unconcerned/uncaring. - floor needed vacuuming. Contacted front desk and reported the problem. No apology or indication that we had been inconvenienced or expectations not made. Didn't say what they were going to do-just hung up on me. Later met a front desk person with a vacuum and provided details of what needed cleaning. Again, no concern shown but asked if he could borrow a key as he had forgotten to make one. - top of window drape no longer attached - toilet drained slowly--will likely soon clog. - in the morning discovered we had only had one washcloth for 2 people. In the morning reported all of this when checking out but only response from the front desk clerk was she'd report it to housekeeping. No acknowledgement that this was an undesired experience. When I asked for a zero-balance receipt, the clerk said they were paperless. When I pushed it, the clerk said their printer was out of toner. Said the receipt would be emailed ... but it wasn't. I know the email on file is good because I've received emails from other properties and corporate Best Western. In all fairness, the breakfast was better than average and the staff were helpful.

The room was filthy, the carpet was so stained with urine, my dog peeded right away. There was no blanket on the bed, no bath mat, a couple of towels, and a couple of small soaps. We had booked for three nights but left after one night. We were charged for all three nights and no refund for the other two nights. Not Pet Friendly.

Ran into a lot of rain and had to stop short of our intended stop for the night. My daughter was looking at hotels in the area and found some cheap options, but I believe you get what you pay for, and they have figured that out once before, so glad that we spent the little extra and stayed here. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable. Great job to everyone that works and maintains this hotel. Little off the beaten path but well worth the effort

Our suite carpet and furniture were extremely stained and appeared un-clean. We had several flies in our room when we arrived. Exterior of the buildings needed much repair and upgrading. The ice machine did not opporaite in our building. King bed mattress was too hard and not comfortable.

The motel was clean and the breakfast was delicious!! The sky bridge made it very convenient to cross the road without dealing with traffic. Only thing was the pictures of the bathroom for what we booked were of a recently renovated spacious bathroom with walk in shower and that was definitely not the case. We still enjoyed our stay and the friendly and cheerful staff made our stay a memorable one!

Great place to stay! Clean comfortable rooms. The pool was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast room was immaculate and the provided breakfast was all very good. Real eggs! And all the staff were very friendly, everyone we came across greeted us with a smile and friendly greeting. This is an hotel with the majority of rooms with direct outside access. The bonus is you get to park right n front of your room. We WILL stay here again!

Prepare to be a second class occupant. Isolated location and a pet area across a busy main street. Room condition fit for a dog... filthy. To get to the front desk or bar/restruant you must either cross over in a skywalk that has no elevator and you must climb three levels into a hot cylinder or cross a busy four lane main street. We won't be back

help staff disengaged not friendly or helpful. could hear a lot of outside noise in room. breakfast was poor. room temperature varied within the room, one side hot the other cold. no additional pool towels.

Dark, dingy, hot, and just kind of weird. The room doors don't open and close easily. The top bunk bed does not have a safety rail (that's got to violate some kind of code, right??). The rooms don't have a microwave, a standard feature of every hotel I've been in for the last 20 years. The breakfast doesn't start until 7 AM, which is inconvenient for travelers who want to get an early start, and the coffee, even by interstate hotel standards, is bad. The tub, toilet and sink in the room were old, obviously worn and in need of updating. There were odd, if not downright creepy blood-colored stains on the side of the toilet tank. The staff was friendly and helpful, but overall way overpriced for what you are given. This town has other choices. Take them.

Staff was nice. Place looked dated but signs did say it was under renovations-so hopefully for the price that we had to pay for 1 night in a very generic hotel will have improvements for the price. Breakfast had a good variety to choose from. And food staff was prompt in their duties.

Room was expensive and had a terrible odor the shower was pretty much unusable no water pressure key to the room quit working like 3 times had to go have it reset asked to change rooms and was told they didn't have any available

I don't have a dog. At check in I had to sign a form that said I didn't have a dog, and if I did have a dog I would be charged. However……I was given a room that was obviously a “pet friendly room” there was even a dog bowl and extra linen to cover the bed, and it STUNK of dogs. The bed was comfy enough and clean, but every time you left it and came back in, the whiff of dogs was awful! We at in the sports bar. The food was good and we got excellent service from Daniel, a pleasant young man from Jamaica who was working at the hotel for the summer. Breakfast was included and was adequate.

This is right on main street within walking distance to many places to eat. Decent clean room. Comfortable beds. Maybe a 2 or 3 star place. Friendly staff. Nice free breakfast. Ample parking though some spots can be tight. Stayed here twice.

Original room was disgusting. Sheets has multiple stains and looked like they had not been washed just remade after last guest. There was blood on the wall above the AC/heater and a bloody booger on the AC/heater control cover that was easily noticeable. I can't believe a cleaning staff would pass this as ok. Front desk moved us but was not apologetic as all and did nothing other then moving us to a different room to accommodate. Breakfast was aweful as well. Utensils were filthy and food aweful. I will NEVER stay here again. This hotel isn't worth paying $10 a night. I'd rather sleep in my car

Good location on Main St with restaurants within walking distance. Older unconnected building had recently been updated. Didn't look at pool. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable with outside entrance.

If you want a pool or a good breakfast , you will be disappointed, as it is not in working order and breakfast was a joke. The rooms are small, no microwave and needs updated. Our carpet was extremely stained everywhere, I mean, everywhere, and smelled like old musty cigs and weed. But…. The only but is the beds were clean and comfortable. Still wasn't worth the price even with a group rate. Pay the extra couple bucks and go elsewhere .

Everything was clean, everyone was very nice and friendly. The location is very good, walking distance To a lot of breweries and restaurants, the creek runs right next to the hotel. The parking is easy, and everyone is friendly.

This is really a ( very large ) motel comprising a number of 2 storey buildings ( no lift) either side of the road but linked by a footbridge to main reception. Luggage was portered but it was still a mission to find room in the maze of corridors. Room was ok , but again no safe . Otherwise large , clean and basic. We didn't explore local area as we arrived in a rainstorm. There is a restaurant on site , reports from others not great, looked very dated. The saving grace is the Butero sports bar on site, lots of choice of wine and beers as well as good American food . We were wonderfully and efficiently served by Ryan who was also very knowledgeable and informative about all on offer, the real highlight of our stay. Next morning the included breakfast was grim. Only choice was between cereal or hot , hot was non negotiable sausage, egg, potato and dry biscuit ( scone to us Brits) , back to tasteless coffee. Ok for 1 night , The bar ( and Ryan) saved the day.

Check in staff were excellent and friendly throughout our stay. Large room and bathroom- all nice & clean and comfortable but so dark - lighting is terrible and the room we had was ground floor , faving into the corridor so no natural light. The complimentary breakfast was very poor, potatoes like bullets, overcooked very small sausage and worst scrambled eggs I've ever had. We were there 2 nights, only had breakfast the once, it was so bad The restaurant/sports bar on site (where you also get breakfast) was pleasant in atmosphere and due to poor weather we ate in there the second night. I had pasta which was OK, partner had nacho's- terrible- very small snack size and cheap American processed cheese- all overpriced The hotel needs to get a grip of the restaurant as it's letting the place down Pool area looked nice but we didn't use, hotel was noisy in the morning with travellers moving on early and making no attempt to be quiet The hotel is well located for downtown, it's a shame, staff are good but some of the finer details aren't so good

Have recently come back from Sheridan where I stayed at Best Western Sheridan and had a thoroughly excellent stay. I found Dan and Dakota on Reception very helpful indeed. The room I stayed in across from the car park was excellent. Clean, very roomy, good air con, excellent in every way. My friend and I had several breakfasts there and evening meals. Perhaps the complimentary breakfast could be improved with some sausage or bacon. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel and cannot understand poor reviews on the page. Perfectly situated in Sheridan too

We stayed in the part across the street fron the lobby. The key cards would only work part time on the doors to the hall to the rooms and on the room doors. We were not the only ones as we tried other guests keys as we stayed by the door to the hallway and theirs did not either. Breakfast was not till 7 and it was catered or something. Anyway it was not very good. I would order off the menu or go somewhere else. The room was ok once you got in it.

The location was good, right next to downtown Sheridan! Check in was ok the person at the front desk was friendly and helpful. WiFi worked great and the the pool was nice. However, perhaps the room could be updated, if you are over 5'5 it's likely you won't be able to shower properly due to the shower head being very low on the wall. We had a voucher for complementary breakfast but it was not up to the expectations of a Best Western breakfast. The sausage was very small and burnt, the potatoes burnt and dry and the egg mushy. This was a complaint that was forwarded to the front desk assistant as it didn't seem to be substantial. This is a nice chain but all it could do with is updated rooms, facilities and catering services . Otherwise a good stay.

Dogs outside barked most of the night. Told the staff & they apologized but did not give any kind of credit or compensation. Rooms were clean and a good location in the proximity of the event we attended.

We stayed at this hotel only 1 night. We did get a pet friendly room, which means the carpets are dirty and the walls are dirty. We stayed at this location because it was downtown and it had a pool. My kids went to the pool and swam for 15 min and then got asked to leave because they needed to fill the pool and add chemicals. So it would be a few hours before they could use it again. This was a rainy Saturday afternoon so outdoor activities were out. Also the restaurant area was closed up on Sunday morning for the complimentary breakfast. Not a good place to stay for $200+ a night (with pet fees)

Great location in center of Sheridan; easy walking to downtown. Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The skybridge over main street was really cool and a wonderful fix to getting across the busy roadway!

This hotel checks all the boxes. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. The room was immaculate. The location is convenient to downtown Sheridan. Ample parking. Airport transportation is a plus.

We like to stay downtown Sheridan within walking distance to shops and restaurants. This location is great. All the staff were wonderful. Our only complaint is that breakfast doesn't start till 7 am. For travelers, this just isn't early enough. Other than that, the room and property were clean and well kept.

Sunday, July 24, 2022, two adults, one dog. ONE NIGHT. Two Queens quoted as lower price than one King. (?) A whopping $225.00!!! That's with senior discount and BW membership!! "Well," I thought, "At least we'll have a good breakfast with that price!" Yes, the so-called "complementary" breakfast consisted of one tiny sausage link, scarcely warm scrambled eggs, a small pile of yesterday's fried potatoes, a biscuit 1" high, and a tiny class of OJ in small plastic cup. Served in the bar. In the room, the inside bathroom door and woodwork was dirty and smudged. I cleaned it. On the plus side, we had an end room next to the alley with plenty of parking space.

Hotel not as advertisement. Pet friendly rooms are in need of major overhaul. Stinky, carpet stains throughout, scuffs and dings everywhere, carpet was pulling apart near bathroom. Shower was scuffed, dirty, and smelled moldy. Fridge was barely cold and AC hardly cooled. Pool was nice but ceramic tile was causing kids to fall left and right. For the price we'd never stay here again. Beds were decently comfortable if it wasn't so hot with plenty of pillows.

Friendly staff and even better management. The best hotel location in Sheridan, by far. Perfectly located near downtown for food, drinks, and entertainment. So why only 3/5? Time to reinvest and update the rooms, which feel old and in need of aesthetic upgrades (beds super comfy except for the stupid half pillows). Also way past time to invest in better Wi-Fi. I'm here for work and need a video-level connection. Not here. Good to check email and ESPN, but too slow for video. Small complaint is that the restaurant hours are hit and miss - the result of farming it out instead of running in house. Still my go-to place in Sheridan, but needs help soon.

We've been staying here twice a year for 5 years as we travel from Iowa to visit family in Montana. Great staff and quiet stay. Love the pool and beds. Close to restaurants and downtown is awesome. Easy walk to Dairy Queen.

We stayed one night whilst travelling through Wyoming and were pleased with our stay. Staff on the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a nice evening meal in the on-site Italian restaurant/bar. We made use of the guest laundry which was very handy. Breakfast was also served in the Italian and was very tasty. Parking was a little confusing until we had checked in, as the hotel is spread over both sides of the street with a few different parking lots, but when we checked in they gave us a map which showed our room and the closest parking etc. Overall very pleased with our stay and would book again.

I and my travel companion were on a bus tour when my companion asked to be tested for COVID. She tested positive, so we were suddenly "off the tour." I commend and express my sincere gratitude to Dan and Dakota for their attentiveness to our needs (they had someone deliver breakfast to our room every morning), and their caring manner in which they answered questions and helped us find food establishments and pharmacies that delivered to our room. If one has to be stranded due to COVID, you would be fortunate to be at this hotel. The staff were terrific, and we really appreciated their patience and service.

My wife and I were in Sheridan Wyoming for a major bike race. Dan, the front desk manager, made us feel very comfortable and welcome at check in and a few other times when we passed the front desk during our 1 day stay. He recognized us each time which is not easy to do with the number of guests they had that day. We couldn't be happier with our stay. No problems, and super easy pre-check process in using the on line check in feature. It took maybe 5 minutes at the front desk to finish checking in. Very impressed with our experience here. Will be back again at next year's bike race and no doubt will stay at the Sheridan Best Western again!

Motel is good, I've stayed there several times. I was not impressed by the voucher breakfast,. The staff was very slow and inattentive,. We had to ask for coffee refills. Breakfast was a frozen waffle, one link sausage eggs a potatoes. Out of many breakfast items on menu. I prefer the breakfast bar type breakfast like in the Plaza in Thermopolis.

Parking is a little tight, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay for two nights. We weren't able to take part in the breakfast, due to schedule, so I don't have any opinion for that. Staff was very friendly!

They don't extreme clean rooms, brkfst only served on weekends..need voucher week days. Dont clean rooms while staying, 10pm pool close is just a suggestion I guess, shower heads are at chest height for anyone over 5'7", Luke warm shower water at best. Etc.....

This place is far too expensive for what I got in my stay. I was given a room on the 2nd floor even though I told the front desk I had a one year old and lots of stuff to bring up. There was no parking by the room and ONLY stairs! The front desk told me the room was easy to get in and out of with what I had. It was definitely not. My first impression was not a great one already. The room was generally clean and the beds were actually comfortable for one night which is the only reason I gave a 2 rating. The shower head is so low and, even at only 5'6", it was at my shoulder. The water pressure was terrible and both the sink and the tub drained extremely slow. The coffee maker was dusty as well. The price for this room should be half of what I paid for it and I would never recommend anyone stay here. If you don't mind a dingy "motel" setting, in an old building, with lackluster accommodations while paying far too much, this is the place for you. Everyone else find somewhere else to stay.

We stay at this hotel every time we travel to Idaho (several times a year). Love the location on the main street and the room decor that makes us feel like we're in Sheridan. Sign said they're updating, hope we still get that Sheridan, WY feel. Employees are always pleasant and helpful.

An older, but very well kept hotel. It also has a very unique layout. My stay was great and I will be returning for another stay in the vet near future. I look forward to trying breakfast on my next stay. Great staff and great service!

I had been staying at another hotel in Sheridan but have not been comfortable there lately so I tried BW and I like it much better and feel safer. Its downtown within walking dust to restaurants and attractions.

Great location, and great staff. Hotel itself is in need of some updates. Rooms and bath are dated. Funky layout avoid rooms that overlook the pool. Bar and lounge rock and front desk staff were very friendly. Location and value can't be beat.

If you can find another hotel, stay there. This hotel is old and patchworked to look up to date. There is no hot breakfast. The hotel will give a discount voucher at some local restaurants if you have the time.

Excellent service, wonderful breakfast, a menu service with free choices or a big discount on other choices.. Room was large, parking was easy and very near the room. The location was good for driving to anywhere in Sheridan. The bed was excellent, as was the pillow choice. The bathroom was older, but very clean. Good shampoo and soaps. The pool was great fun for the hockey team members, and also got quiet at 9, silent at 10. The walkway above Main Street crosswalk was kinda fun for all.

Was not impressed with the way breakfast is done through the restaurant, it was busy and chaotic. The options are very limited, you have to pay for drinks not included on the voucher from the hotel. The food itself was good and our server was great just really busy. Everything else was good, Nice pool, clean rooms.

Pool and lounge - close to downtown, prepare for action and be ready to turn up the heat in this little gem. Friendly staff and unique property give this place an exciting advantage. Clean rooms and fast wireless!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very close to downtown, within walking distance of many shops. Our room was very clean. This hotel is reasonably priced. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Sheridan.

I liked the cleanliness of the room; Friendly Staff and great Customer Service. Good location, in the heart of Sheridan, within walking distance of shops and cafes. I loved exploring Sheridan. Great destination and wonderful town.

This place is run down and dirty. My room was one of those rooms that you don't want to take your shoes off because the carpet is gross and very stained. Some attempts have been made to do some updating but things like touch up paint and new curtains would help. The shower head was so low you had to stoop to wash your hair. That's sad considering I'm only 5'5”. Also the shower/bath area did not feel clean as it was run down also. The pool was nice and somewhat warm. You get a coupon worth a free breakfast or money off a more expensive breakfast in the little restaurant. It was nice to have a made to order breakfast instead of the usual fare. Another positive is the location which is downtown and it's very walkable. I personally would not stay here again unless it was renovated. This place is not worthy of the Best Western brand. I always stay in BW's and rely on the brand to know I'm getting a decent quality room sight unseen.

My husband and I stayed there for our honeymoon and loved it. My son and a friend came to see me and I booked them there...loved it. The hotel is clean. The staff is outstanding!! The food is awesome!

Location is great! That's where the good stuff ends. We stayed for a week in July and chose this hotel because of it's proximity to where our friends live. We arrived in the afternoon and got checked in to our first floor king room. The room was decent for a motel this age but nothing special. Then it got really bad. My wife and I were awakened at 1 in the morning by the sound of running water. We jumped out of bed to find ourselves standing in water. A leak had occurred in the ceiling above the vanity and water was pouring out onto all our belonging. Thankfully we had put most of our clothing in the dresser but our shoes and toiletries were soaked! We contacted the office and they said they would have to move us to another room. They gave us a key to a second floor room with double beds but offered no assistance with moving our items. I met with the manager in the morning and he had no idea that we had an issue in the middle of the night. I requested that we not be charged for the nights stay as we lost a night of sleep and he said he couldn't do that but would give us points equal to a free nights stay. He also said he would adjust our rate down to the double rate vs. the king rate like he was doing me some kind of favor! After several weeks I checked on the points promised and they were not in the account. After several phone calls we were given 5000 points. Far less than promised. Make a different selection. Customer service here sucks.

The manager came out to greet our tour bus and had each party an envelope with the room key and a map of the hotel in it. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I loved the way they did the room numbers-were each on a wood board that had a different native animal stenciled on it- such as a bear, moose, wolf, etc. The breakfast had a nice buffet. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Great location in an easy walking town.

Hotel appears old and dated but was very clean and comfy. Breakfast wasn't good, cold and staff was on their cell phone and not very attentive. Coffee was empty but if you just want a nice clean room this is the place.

Great downtown property. Very Well taken care of. Great breakfast. Would be happy to go back anytime. Now adding words to satisfy Trip Advisor requirements of 200 characters, which is silly, but i wanted the review put in for the good hotel.

We traveled from Kansas to visit family and to fish the great Wyoming mountains. We stayed in Sheridan to shop and eat. What a convenient location our room had to all these activities! Great room, staff and plenty of R&R! Thanks again for the experience!

Front desk was unhelpful at check in. Phone broken in room. Drywall eroding in the bathroom. Shower control on the verge of useless. No elevator. This hotel is in desperate need of modernizing. Great location, too bad there is no motivation to make the motel an appealing place to stay, otherwise. Stay somewhere else in Sheridan.

First, our check-in was very slow. Desk clerk spent an inordinate amount of time just chatting with a customer while we waited to check in. I don't mean just a minute or two, it was a long frustrating wait. Second, our room reeked of mildew, and it wasn't very clean. If we could have , we would have left, but all rooms in town were booked. Also, a basket of dirty linens and towels remained right by our door most of our stay. Lastly, if you are a BW Rewards member, does not mean anything here. I will not ever stay here again.

Hotel was nice, just make sure when you make a reservation that a handicap room is available if necessary, stairs to 2nd floor rooms are too steep for a handicap person to access. Have a nice lounge and bar, just happened we were in Sheridan WY on one of their hottest days, air conditioner in bar was not working, very uncomfortable, drinks were good!

It's an ok, older hotel that's way over priced. The staff is friendly enough, but they're still not servicing rooms. They say it's due to COVID, but not one employee was wearing a mask or social distancing, so they're clearly just doing it because it's easier. The rooms are a bit dated, and if you're anywhere near main entrances or the pool, the rooms are LOUD. It's the first hotel I've ever seen that, instead of putting microwaves in the room, they put a bank of them in the hall for all to use. The shower head in my room was set at less than 5 ft, so I had to stoop a lot just to wash my hair. Breakfast is good, with a nice staff. It's a decent place, but not one that should be charging $200+ for a room.

Room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Located blocks from historic downtown -- walking distance. Staff was friendly. Parking is tight, but do-able, with a 3/4 ton pick-up. Had some small issues with the tv remote and fridge -- but nothing that ruined the stay. Chose to inform the desk upon check-out since issues were discovered later in the evening.

The people at Best Western Sheridan, the employees are kind and helpful. The rooms are clean, cleaner than some four star hotels I stayed in on my way. It was a pleasant place to stop and rest my head for a few days.

My stay here at Sheridan Wyoming was fantastic. The breakfast was amazing. This was the first time I was served breakfast in a hotel on a real ceramic plate with flatware since covid. It was a small thing but really made me appreciate this place. I plan on going out of my way to stay here going forward!

Please tell Best Western survey to include the choice “Spouse” in their questions. I consider my spouse to be the one with whom I travel, not my “partner”. The hotel did not provide breakfast as requested. Poor staff communication!

They have great people that work for them and the rooms are super clean. The set up is a little weird and we had to walk a long way to get to the pool but other than that we were very happy with our stay.

They say Covid keeps them from cleaning while you are there. The mold in the bathroom was concerning, don't know what that has to do with Covid. Asked for a room away from the pool, got one next to the pool. Kids in the water kept us up late into the night. I think this was a very nice place years ago, not so much now. The lobby is on one side of the street, the rooms on the other side. If you have a bad hip or bad knees, best to go somewhere else that has an elevator. 3 flights of stairs up to the skybridge across the road, 3 flights down. Won't go here again for that reason.

Very comfortable bed. Nice shower. Clean room. The TV didn't work so the desk clerk came to our room with a cable and fixed it. We didn't stay for breakfast because we went to a local favorite. Nice to be right in town. We could walk to the local breweries. Would recommend.

The rooms wer nice. We had an issue with the. shower knob being stuck but, my husband fixed. The food for breakfast was the worst I have ever had even free we could not eat it. The wait staff were slow and the cook. ws terrible. The Bistro 307 was not any better for food. The steaks were undercooked and the wait staff was slow.

Great value. Short distance from shopping. Although on a busy street, it's very quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are older, but tidy and bright. The Bistro serves a wonderful breakfast with smiling waitresses. Whenever we stay in Sheridan, this is our first choice.

My husband and I were quite impressed with our accommodations, the jetted tub room was a great value, most relaxing night we have had in a long time. The room was spacious, clean and close to everything. They also provide breakfast vouchers at the restaurant. We enjoyed the fast service and hot food.

I stayed in your hotel in a recent weekend get away. We went to an event at your hotel with live music and dinner. The staff was awesome, especially Deb. We had a drink in the bar, same friendly service. Our room was clean. Bed comfortable. We ate breakfast had great food. We will definitely return.

My daughters and I were staying at Best Western in Sheridan Wyoming for their swim meet. The location of this hotel is prime for shopping and restaurants in Sheridan. Very clean rooms, very friendly staff, and the pool was great! We will always stay in this hotel whenever we're in Sheridan!

I visit Sheridan quite often for business and always enjoy staying at the Sheridan Best Western. I love being right in the center of downtown so I can walk anywhere and not use the car. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, breweries etc. Friendly staff and great option for bar and restaurant if you dont feel like going out at night.

While the facility shows it's age if you look closely, We felt like they were doing a good job keeping it up. The shower was hot and the bed comfy. On the other hand, the shower head was really low. I'm 5'6" and it was chin level. Also- nitpicking-, but, the pillows were all really hard. The pool area was really clean. The walls seemed unusually sound proof. (nice for a dog room) I appreciated how they catered to my dog.

Stay here on our way to Riverton Casino. Had a king room with jacuzzi and balcony...unfortunately it was too cool to enjoy the balcony. A nice bar and grill for drinks and eats. Centrally located in town and not far from interstate.

We really enjoyed our stay.The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Good location and front desk girls were pleasant. Breakfast was just ok because of covid but they did have hot biscuit and sausage sandwich and danishes and other items.

Despite noisy rooms due to age of building and proximity of room to the indoor pool and al alleyway behind, the cleanliness was very good in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the room had plenty of space even with two queen beds. The lobby was very nice but too bad the large fireplace was not on probably due to covid. It had an attached lounge/bar for food which was very convenient.

Not a bad hotel for a quick stay but it is motel style on Main Street. Traffic, people outside and upstairs are easily heard. Everything else was nice but I would keep looking around if you had the time.

While an older property, this hotel is well maintained and appeared to be very clean. Somewhat of an unusual design (it's on both sides of the main street with a skybridge connecting the two sides), the exterior area (including a small grassy area for the pooches), is fairly spotless. Room was spacious and relatively quiet. Just a couple of gliches (1) like some hotels, it's struggling with breakfast during the Covid era and our comment would be "Nice try but take another crack at it", and (2) I enjoy going for walks with the dog for a couple of blocks around hotels - the area immediately to the east is extremely rundown and some of the houses appear to be rundown. A little strange since the main drag is fine but for a small town perhaps not too unusual. Good overall property.

No hottub, rude employees especially at the front desk. There is no accuracy in billing, the website states they offer covid 19 discounts, but then they try to charge you more than if you booked online. Oh and a cold shower there is almost no hot water. Rooms are old and parking is difficult.

The hotel is centrally located in downtown Sheridan. Easy walk to many good restaurants and shopping. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. To accommodate Covid, they are serving take away coffee, breakfast tacos and muffins. The bran muffins were delicious.

We always stop at this motel. Great location, clean, breakfast in the morning( although it is take out food right now) and wonderful desk clerks! Great value for the dollar! Room was spotless and the sink and shower too.

If i could give 0 stars I would.Found out we had an emergency late in the evening. No worries we can come home early morning. Long drive can't do anything tonight. I then call Priceline about cancelling our second night at the Best Western. The man at Priceline was very kind and understanding! He tried his hardest to get us refunded. The only reason we are NOT being refunded is because the general manager of the Best Western said no. I understand that this is a business. I have worked in many hotels. This manager has no regard of what emergencies are and that life happens and sometimes plans change. We are not fortune tellers and can not predict the future. To top it all off there was a dried booger on wall. Also the shower head looks like it is a sink faucet that was rigged with a shower head. I am also short and had to bend down to be able actually take a shower. I am 5'4” tall. My husband is 6'. Also the handicap bar was falling off the wall in the shower. This is very dangerous. Well i would never stay here again and the Best Western will not be getting any of our business ever again.

The wife and I stayed her on a fast trip to Seattle. We had traveled well over 600 miles that day and all I wanted was a shower and a good bed. Got both at this place. Because of the virus hoax, they couldn't have their usual breakfast buffet. But they made do with a breakfast bowl that included scrambled eggs, fried potatoes and bacon. Excellent place to stay and reasonably priced. But the bed, the bed. ahhhh, the bed.

Upon checking clerk was less than welcoming, like we interrupted his busy day & now he had to work. Tried getting a room facing Main Street but we were told this was our room as we were handed the key cards and he refused to even entertain the idea of a requested room (Not like they were busy) and we were given a room in the back off the alley. Had to ask about breakfast and given a paper to fill out and return for bag breakfast. Both days the bag breakfast was cold and disgusting, not to mention a very small meal, but then I'm sure they would not eat it & knew nobody else would either. McDonalds has a 5 star breakfast menu compared to the hotels breakfast. The room was stale/musty smelling, lumpy mattress, old worn carpet, furnishings were old and very worn, no microwave & a coffee pods looked like it had been used as a dog toy. Went to front desk a couple times and the male clerk always was someplace else & had to wait for him & he always acted like I interrupted and ruined his day. Good thing we spent very little time in the room, only came back to eat as all restaurants were take out only due to the covid virus. This was one of the worst hotel rooms we have had in the last few years & a real disappointment.

I used to stay out by the highway when passing through Sheridan then someone suggested I stay at the Best Western and have been staying there ever since. When staying out by the highway you are stuck out there with nothing to do unless you drive into town. Statying at Best Western is great because you can hang out in their very friendly bar and eat or walk to the various bars and restaurants that are in Sheridan. I never knew what a great town Sheridan is until I started stay at the Best Western.

The motel was clean and mostly accessible. Parking was in an alleyway leaving us with a worry towards safety. Ice and uneven walking areas. The room though dated was clean. Our room had a retrofitted tub/ shower combo intended for ADA compliance but nothing close to that. All in all everything worked but would probably search out different accomodations next round.

The room was extremely clean. They even give you a welcome gift for your pet!! We used the pool also and enjoyed the temperature. The breakfast was great with eggs, potatoes, waffles, bacon, cereal... Biggest part was the amazing coffee!!! Yum the coffee in the room is local too!

Dont let pictures tell the story...looked good on picture but when got there and got room, it had ador and even the hall wallway. Rugs need to be updated along with lamps and paint. Male breakfast server was rude to my wife. I recomend go stay at newer hotel if your in town

Nice clean rooms, nice restaurant/bar, comfy beds. Love that they have a Keurig and plenty of coffee in the rooms. We had the balcony view, it was nice to go out and look out over everything. We will definitely be back again.

On my way to my 375th military duty weekend @ Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, MT. Stayed here once before and the service is always friendly and appreciated my military service. Perfect rest stop as my drive is 879 miles + and 13 hours long without weather issues.

This was a great place to have our Center's meeting due to it's location on Sheridan's historic Main Street. It's walking distance to many great local restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and businesses. This was a clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint would be the shower in my room. The shower head was set lower down on the wall, and for an average height person or taller, you're not going to adjust the shower head to make it a little more comfortable during use. Lower shower head aside, the room was comfortable with a comfortable bed that had five pillows. Overall, this was a great place to stay in Sheridan and I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Lacks in room microwave, I asked for one but they evidently don't have any. They will tell you they have one in the lobby. The lobby is in the center building with the conference rooms and restaurants. The rooms are across the street. The farthest building is a block from the lobby, Damn inconvenient especially with winter coming on. They have a restaurant in the center building but, I am stubborn enough to take my meal dollars elsewhere if they can't supply a microwave

Had a 4 day mule deer and pronghorn hunt and stayed in best western. The clerks down stairs was so friendly and a blast to talk to! After a long day of hunting we would go to the restaurant/bar! All around good and comfy place to stay! Recommend it!

We have stayed here before and it was perfect. There is a restaurant bar on location and the breakfast buffet was perfect. The room was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The location of hotel is downtown and in walking distance of other restaurants and bars.

Whenever I am in Sheridan I always stay at the Best Western. I love being able to walk around town to the various restaurants and bars in the evening. Sheridan is one of the few older original western towns that is not a tourist trap. The real deal.

This hotel is easy walking distance of the town centre, which was very lively on a Thursday evening. Good sized room, very comfortable king size bed, two comfortable chairs and a good shower in the bathroom. There is a coffee machine, fridge and microwave in the room but no safe. Nice looking pool but it opened too late in the morning (we left at 8am) for me to try it out. There was a good buffet breakfast with a busy, good natured member of staff making sure the cutlery and the coffee were topped up and the place was running smoothly. No mean feat as two full tour buses were leaving early. The Wifi wasn't working when we arrived, reception contacted their service company and it was back running in an hour. Good free wifi throughout the hotel including the rooms.

The Best Western was just "ok". Older, motel style facility and showing its age. The room could use remodeling, but it was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. On-site restaurant was not good. Service was slow and food was just "ok". There aren't a lot of places to eat in the area if you don't have a car (we were on a bus tour). Overall, disappointing.

The hotel was set up a bit strange with the lobby, bar and breakfast room across the road from the rooms but that didnt spoil it for me. It is a couple of blocks from bars and restaurants. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

We stayed for one evening as part of a tour group. We stayed on the 2nd floor overlooking the swimming pool. The room was of a typical size for this type of hotel, as was the bathroom. The beds were really comfortable and we slept well once the noise from the swimming pool had died down. Breakfast was a self-service buffet in the main building across the sky bridge and was more than adequate. The staff in the breakfast room were really friendly and very efficient in keeping the tables cleared and ready for the next diners. The hotel is located a few blocks away from all of the usual restaurants and in our opinion, well within the average person's walking ability. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

K9 facilities are good with the little park across the street on main hotel's front. Front desk staff very helpful. Lots of restaurants in the area. Only one K9 outdoor seating one Pony Bar & Grill... food was very good!

Rooms were clean. Front desk was helpful. Business center was functional. Restaurant was good. I would recommend Best Western Downtown Sheridan over any other Sheridan location. Many shops and restaurants close by. Free airport pick-up and delivery.

Great stay, the staff is amazing, the rooms clean and very comfortable, don't want to get out of bed because it is so comfy and the sheets and pillows, ooh la la! I stayed in the room with my service dog that was made for dogs and they had a little basket with special towels for her and little dog treats and poop bags, they made us both feel so welcome. The breakfast is so tasty and best of all, free with the stay.

We stayed one night here whilst doing a coach tour of the National Parks. Our booking included breakfast. Our room was 276 which had two doors, one onto a rear corridor servicing another row of rooms and one onto a balcony run overlooking the main road. There is a glass covered walkway to enable guests to cross the road and this is accessed by several steps up on either side. The room was simply decorated with a sloping pine ceiling which made it seem larger. The beds were extremely comfortable with ample pillows. Furniture included desk and chair, easy chair and a large set of drawers. The washhand basin was within the main room. We also had a large fridge. We were not disturbed by noise at all..in fact had one of our best sleeps. Breakfast was served in the main building across the road and we found it very acceptable with hot dishes available. There is a small indoor pool but we didn't use it. The hotel is conveniently situated near a few restaurants and it is a pleasant short walk to the main part of Sheridan. All in all a nice stop off.

Overall a great stay at Best Western Sheridan Center. Check in and checkout were a breeze, and the desk staff were wonderful. The restaurant located next to the lobby is a plus for me. One of the better breakfasts I've had in the hotel/motel chains, and a large dining area

Excellent location right in town allowing us to walk. Had swim in pool which was good. Room was in block across road accessed via sky tunnel. Room was good size, clean and had all the usual items. Looks like it is due for a bit of an update but no major problems . Breakfast was very busy with tofu bus people and the kitchen staff did remarkably well to keep the food stocked and the tables cleaned -well done. Check out should have been easy but wasnt and perhaps the new staff member who we encountered needs a bit more training particularly in being polite to customers. Otherwise a good stay.

Very clean and comfortable room. Onsite restaurant and bar. Good place to stay in between states while traveling. I'm sure there are things to do in town, but we only stayed one night so we didn't really look around. Have stayed there twice now and have no complaints. Everyone was helpful and nice.

The hotel is older, likely from the early 60s...the layout of the property is strange with the two main sections separated by the main boulevard and connected by pedestrian bridge....the room was clean and there was no microwave in the room....parking can be cramped but plentiful...the breakfast was typical, and sufficed...

This is a much larger motel than one would think. It has several different buildings, some of which face a busy main road. Fortunately the front desk clerk offered us a room away from the adjacent park where a motorcycle event/party was scheduled for that evening. We were on the ground floor for which we were thankful as there are no elevators. Also the sound from from the party did not carry as much as it most likely would have to another building or to a higher floor. The room was pretty basic and the ice machine was out of order but a functioning one was available in another building.

When I checked in the guy at check in could tell I rode my motercycle and told me they had a bike wash station. Thought the price was a little too high the attached resturant had good food at a very reasonable price

Our family of seven needs a suite or two rooms with a connecting door during our vacation stays. The Best Western in Sheridan, WY was able to accommodate us well. Everyone had a comfortable bed, and no one was stuck sleeping on a hard cot. The free breakfast was hot. There was a waffle maker for those who love that. There were gluten-free and dairy-free options for those of us with special dietary needs. When we decided to stay an extra night, Daniel made the necessary changes efficiently with a smile. We were not used to the motel-type building, but it was not an unpleasant experience to walk outside to a separate building for the pool and the breakfast room. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip through Sheridan, WY.

Alway have a great stay with Best Western Plus. Always, clean and the staff is very helpful. Rooms are exceptionally clean and their pillow are like magic , for a quality nights sleep. Their free breakfasts are great.

Very clean and nice room. Nice to have a restaurant on site so we did not have to search for one after driving over 500 miles that day. Check in was easy as was checking out. Staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Dingy room facing alley (supposedly the pet area), extremely cramped bathroom with small vanity. Everything looked well-used. Room really could use better lighting. It was just okay for me and my pet for one night, but couples might feel cramped. Good location to walk in pretty Sheridan. Restaurant was packed and I as a single had a very hard time getting served. Food was a gristly steak and overbooked potato. The big groups who were drinking and socializing seemed to enjoy it. I doubt I would stay here again.

We stopped here after a day of riding. The hotel looks like an old motel that they are trying to fix up. The staff was friendly, bed was comfortable and breakfast was ok. Our room toilet overflowed right away, when we tried to call the front desk the phone didn't work, we had to use a cell phone. Asked for more towels as the water went everywhere, they brought more towels but then used them to clean the rest of the water and didn't leave us more towels. The carpet and bathroom floor were left wet and I had to wear sandals to use the bathroom. Also, we made coffee in the morning, there was only one regular coffee pod in the room and no creamer or sugar. We paid a lot of money for this room and the value just wasn't there. I wouldn't stay here again.

Decent place, pretty good breakfast. They stuck us in the back of the motel for some reason. It wasn't that busy. We had our little dog and had to make our way across the highway to take him to the dog area. Outside our room was a little alley and some residences, so we took the long trip across the highway several times in two days. We had no TV remote when we got there, no big deal really, but why didn't housekeeping get it replaced? The air conditioner never did shut off and just barely managed to keep the room cool. Awfully expensive place for no more than we received. Front desk man was very friendly.

This is a very large property! We made our reservation months earlier and made several telephone calls to confirm we would have a pet free, ground floor, close to the office room. I guess the staff considers 2 out of 3 good. We had a pet free and ground floor room. However it was in the 'back 40' in a totally isolated building. The room was right at the stairs up and on the alley. Parking was very limited and there was no security. We never did find the pool or spa. The room itself was okay - somewhat dated. Breakfast was very lacking - very few choices.

Their staff is amazing and very friendly. My uncle and I go to Sheridan every two weeks and stay here. They treat us like family and help us with whatever we need. Their rooms are nice and clean. (Which is a BIG deal to me) my girls love their pool and it's changing light. And the whole family enjoys their restaurant inside the hotel.

Fantastic location to visit while you wait for your Tesla to charge up.. staff super friendly and accommodating. Bathrooms spic and span clean. Prices seem reasonable, though I didn't need a room for the night when I got here. But would have loved to stay.

There would be better motels to stay at in the area. We stayed here thinking it would be good since it had a bunk bed in the family suite, unsafe because of no top rail. Baseboard heater was torn off from wall. For the price of the motel we were expecting a little cleaner motel--maybe updated. The lobby was beautiful, but the rooms were a disappointment.

We chose this hotel site unseen. They had tried to update the old hotel and room, but our room was disgusting. Especially the carpet from it being a pet friendly room. In other hotels, they usually just put down tile for pet friendly rooms. The breakfast was good and the woman serving breakfast was the best part about this hotel!

Broken Pool, Squeaky Bunk Beds, Laughable "Breakfast", unsafe and noisy location, this hotel has it all, if you are looking to waste your money. For about the same price on my return travel I stayed at the Hamilton Inn, and got 10x the amount of amenities and functional room and facilities. Poor guy at the front desk upon check in looked overwhelmed and distracted, and on check out the staff really didn't offer any apology, or discount because our stay was so terrible. Don't be fooled by their pics, this place is run down and old on the inside. They should just shut the whole thing down if this is what they are going to offer for their outrageous prices.

The hotel is making improvements and many updates are in progress. The location is perfect, you can walk to the shops and restaurants downtown. The river walk is only one block away and such a nice walk. The new on site restaurant and bar were great as well and all the staff went out of their way to make it a pleasant experience. Best place to stay in Sheridan!

This was an unexpected stay for us as we were just passing through but decided to stay for 2 nights. It just so happened that the rodeo was that weekend. We were in walking distance to everything including great food, interesting shops, cool diners and brews. And after a crazy weekend I could also walk to church on Sunday morning. Great stay!

Nice and clean!! Bed was very comfortable. Young man at the front desk was very pleasant. This s a nice hotel and has a good breakfast. Place is huge and skybridge is a very nice addition. Shower was nice, I hate it when you only get a tiny spray of water!! I'd stay here again!!

First the good. The Inn is clean and the staff was friendly. The attached restaurant / bar had a pleasant atmosphere and the food was satisfying. Also the prices here were reasonable. However, the Inn is basically a sprawling motel. It has many units covering both sides of the street. The rooms are on two levels with only outside entries. There is no elevator. So if you are assigned a second floor room, there may be a long walk with your luggage up a flight of stairs. If climbing stairs is a problem for you, make sure that you ask for a first floor room. Also, the ice machines, and laundry are not centrally located nor are there many of them, and again, depending on your room, could be quite far. We felt that the rates charged for this hotel were overpriced for what it is. Would not stay here again.

Hot breakfast was great, breakfast attendent was very attentive, and on top of everything. Maintenance staff was kind, courteous and attentive. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were confortable. Great location downtown.

I have been staying at the Best Western Sheridan for years and they keep making it better. Its nice to have a place that is downtown instead of out on the highway with nothing to do. Sheridan is a great place to walk around with good restaurants and bars. The hotel restaurant / bar is a great place to eat and hang out as well.

This hotel was clean, friendly and in a convenient spot off the Interstate. We couldn't have asked for better service or staff that knew just what would suit you best. We didn't hear noise or were bothered by pets. Very well done BW!

The staff very friendly and professional. The facility and room were very clean. The only negative I had was the lack of a microwave in the room but it wasn't completely necessary. I will stay there again if I'm traveling in the Sheridan area.

Ridiculously uncomfortable beds & stairs open to the elements & 2 of the 4 buildings are not attached to main building so you have to walk a block for breakfast (what if it rained or snowed or was very hot or very cold?) & room smells bad at times throughout the day.

Travelling from South Dakota to Yellowstone we stopped overnight in Sheridan. The hotel is convenient, close to the motorway and has an above average breakfast. There is also a restaurant/bar on site (I do not think its is owned by Best Western but is very good). The bedrooms are standard motel style and tired. The fridge and air conditioning in our room were very noisy which disturbed your sleep. A bit overpriced considering the bedrooms.

I was disappointed with the high rate because the hotel is quite dated. they removed their hot tub also and I always enjoyed using it. They do have a nice little pool, but I am arthritic and always love a good soak. Thee were finger prints all over the sliding glass door. The rooms are well insulated, so I did not have any probs hearing the ppl next to me. I had a nice view of the Big Horn Mtns. and the motel is in a great location. Right down town.

This motel is in the middle of Sheridan, so you would expect to have some restaurants to choose among for lunch or supper. However, the only options are their own expensive dining room or a drive-through Dairy Queen. The motel is scattered among three corners; we had to walk two blocks from the lobby just to get to our room. Also, the price is outrageous; we didn't pay this much at beautiful Best Western in another city. The room is small and crowded; there is very little space to move around. Also, the walls must be composed of the thinnest material legally allowed.

The room we were in was awful it had a bad odor and the air condition was so loud and noisey that I had to turn it off so I could get a few hours sleep. The price of the room was awful high for what you get . I have stayed in Hotel at that price that was wonderful. Home Wood Suite was even less and was a King two room suite

Only stayed one night but found it a little short on customer care as we are on a road trip and have stayed in many hotels in the last couple of weeks. We arrived for dinner at 8.45pm and the waitress passed us menus and said 'you got ten minutes to order', not even a hello or welcome greeting. The breakfast was poor, plastic cutlery and paper plates, so wasteful in this day and age. Wanted a drink for the room but the only drink machine was broken. The room was nice and the receptionist who checked us in was lovely, but all in all a very average visit.

I imagine that the price was increased due to the annual Sheridan horse Drive. Unfortunately, this did not happen. I'm not sure how often this gets canceled, but I know this year's weather has been worse than normal. Big disappointment. The room was older and “ok” clean. It was very large. We had two queen beds and bunks. We were right next to the pool and it was a good thing that our day had been long and it did not get the kids to bed until late. It is very loud being right next to the pool if there are any people are using it. In our 10 days away from home, this was our favorite breakfast. The eggs were real and everything tasted really great. The pool is situated uniquely in the hotel. You can tell that this was an older arrangement. My kids also loved the skywalk over the busy street.

The Hotel was fine, however the customer service was very poor. We had 2 issues. 1) We chose the hotel at the last minute the main reasons were the good location and the fact that the hotels website stated that it had a Pool & Spa. It did not have a spar & the receptionist didn't seem to think it was a concern that one was advertised. 2) A large truck was parked in the carpark outside guests rooms for 24 hrs with its engine running continuously. When raised at 10pm with the hotel , we were told we could move rooms, which was not convenient at that time of night as we were leaving early in the morning. Why couldn't they have asked the truck driver,who was a guest, to move it. We were unable to contact the manager to raise our concerns prior to leaving. She did infact email us the next day asking what our concerns were. I emailed her explaining everything. It has been 8 days with no reply despite emailing her again.

The location was near downtown. The rooms are quiet. The beds are comfortable. There was room to park my straight truck. The hotel is spread out which is different but I liked the layout. WiFi was awesome. There was a fridge but no microwave. A staff member brought me a microwave when I requested one. That was great!!

From the first phone call till check out..the staff and facility were one of the best we have been to. The hotel has a very unique design that fits into the community perfectly. The front deak manager was very professional, friendly and helpful. Loved our stay there :-)

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to St. Louis and got there in time for dinner. We ate at the bistro where the food was delicious. Everyone was extremely friendly during our stay. The beds were clean and comfy; I love how I had several texture of pillows to choose from! The bathroom and sink area were clean also and very nice. There's plenty of coffee by the coffee maker. The room was very spacious and the vaulted ceiling made it feel even bigger. The room had a dingy smell to it, but I suspect that it can be fixed by either shampooing the carpet or even replacing it. I would definitely stay here again!

Hi i normally stay at Best Western due to rewards program. I have had nothing but exceptional service at most locations. I was a little disappointed in the evening service. We got in around 11 pm and kids where excited to swim in the pool. When making reservations the websites didn't let us know that the pool was not in service due to painting. Needles to say the kids where disappointed. The evening staff was not very welcoming or apologetic. A friend of hers or staff member showed up the same time I did and she chose to talk with her instead of helping me even thought I was there first. Her friend also said that “ he was here first” .. Overall room and braeakfast and morning staff was great. I know the evening lady didn't know we had been on the road for 15 hours or more but a welcoming experience would have been great. I normally don't like to send reviews like this but I love Best Westerns and I know we are all growing and getting better all the time. I know i need work all the time just wouldn't want it to happen to anyone else. Thanks for being so accomodating most of the time.

Bw Sheridan was a very nice hotel, large room, very comfy bed and pillows. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful with getting us info for travel regarding Hwy Closures from flooding. We really appreciated the help. Hotel is very clean and nice looking. Easy to locate and close to shopping. RestaurNton Site was excellent.

Close to local stores and restaurants, secure location. There some problems with TV reception that were being worked out. Staff was friendly and helpful. Newer restaurant in the hotel main building. Bedding was comfortable

The breakfast staff, Bill and Danyer are the best. Happy, professional, and helpful. They come by and pick up your trash so you dont have to. They call you by name if they know. The Manager Dan is beyond nice, professional and helpful. Dan was able to facilitate a rather difficult request of a major room swap.

Chose this hotel as it was pet-friendly, had a restaurant and was a good rate. Arrived to find that the kind of room we booked (2 queens) was second floor only and there is no elevator. (We are moving cross-country and have a lot of stuff.) Ended up paying more for a ground floor room at a practically empty hotel. It was late. I was tired and hungry. The “last minute” initial rate booked was not refundable. We unpacked and went to the restaurant to find the doors open, TVs on and no employees anywhere. Had to drive to find another place to eat as everything else close by seemed to be closed on Sunday by 8pm. The room was comfortable and clean but nothing special. We could have stayed somewhere nicer for what we spent ($118 inclusive of tax and pet fee). Note that the pet fee is $20.

We discovered the Best Western because they had Tesla Chargers. Weather turned really bad so we stopped on our last trip east. Very friendly front desk employee checked the weather for us and the hostess in the breakfast room was wonderful and so friendly. Gainer had even made homemade quiche. The food was great. The room was comfortable with ample pillows (4 to each bed). Will stay again in the future

The roads were turning bad so I decided to stop at the Best Western since they took pets. The front desk employee gave great suggestions on where to eat and even gave my kitty some treats. She loved it! He didn't blink an eye when I asked where I should park my U-Haul. The room was super clean and exactly what I needed after a long stressful drive. The next morning I stopped for breakfast next to the front desk. It was your typical hot breakfast, but the employee that was refilling the food made sure to check to ensure I had everything I needed. I felt well taken care of. I would defiantly stay here again!

My room was booked twice at the reception! I was in the room working on my computer when the door just opened BY A HOTEL EMPLOYEE! Not even a knock! Think twice before you stay here! Not a safe place to be!

As part of a package tour we stayed in this hotel and our first impressions were what a shabby room ! If I had a choice I would have chosen another hotel and not necessarily in Sheridan (nothing there to do). The room looked tired and in need of renovation the only good thing we only stayed one night. It's reported to be a 3 star but I beg to differ more like 1 star. Suggest you think twice before you decide to stay.

The Best Western is more of a Motel style. We stayed on the ground floor in Room 103. The large clean room consisted of 2 x KS beds / fridge / tea/coffee facilities and bath with shower, found it strange the wardrobe was situated in the bathroom. There was no safe in the room. Breakfast was served in the main part of the Motel (where reception is). Breakfast was more than adequate and seemed to cater for hot and cold options. Must comment on how friendly and polite one member of the serving staff in the breakfast room was, nothing was too much bother for him. The location of the Motel is ideal, close enough to many restaurants. I enjoyed my 1 night's stay at the Sheridan and would not hesitate in recommending this lovely Motel.

Great hotel. The location is right in the very charming and historic downtown. Lots of places and parks to walk to. No car dealerships or strip malls. My room was very comfortable, clean and convenient for parking. And, excellent breakfast and nice, nice staff.

The food was fantabulous, don't even get me started on th per danishes. The beds were an A+ after a long nights travel. I don't know who was in charge of picking the yogurt, because man did they do a good job. The walk to the rooms was so continent when came to me getting my steps in. They had easy to peel oranges, and their showers were superb if I do say so myself. They had some pretty soft pillows, and their carpet had a fantabulous pattern. I rate this hotel 10/10 would stay again ;)

Room very large but smelt a bit foisty. 2 large beds worst things in the rooms - the pillows, they were cheap foam pieces stuffed in a cover extremely uncomfortable the pillows in all hotels on rest of tour were soft and luxurious. Breakfast very nice to be included. Very central for restaurants nearby.

One of three bus groups that checked into this hotel. First problem, our door lock was broken, after three notifications we were told that it could not be fixed, it had to be replaced and we could not be moved to another room, every room full. So each time we tried to get into the room we had to almost wrench the handle off before it finally opened. Second, pets are allowed in the hotel, there were two barking dog in our hallway. The room next to our was occupied by (we were told by the front desk) a hotel employee and his dog. They said the dog would stop barking when he returned. Not true. We were awakened twice in the night by the dog barking and the owner screaming at the dog to shut up. We had asked to be moved as soon as we checked in and told no rooms available. Third, - breakfast, just sad. We were told that there was not food available at the hotel, so not sure where this food came from? Eggs terrible, and not enough seats for passengers of three buses to sit. Only positive thing going was that the room we slept in was clean. However, between barking pets and broken door locks, we will not stay at this place again.

Stayed one night to break up road trip to Custer State Park. Nice clean room and good bed. Walking distance to town and restaurants. People were friendly and the breakfest was okay but did not have GF options available. Had to meander and ask questions.

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Sheridan Center (or whatever its name was at the time) in Sheridan, Wyoming, when we made our first trip to the far west more than 25 years ago. I recalled how unique the hotel was, with rooms on each side of the street connected by an overhead walkway. So in planning this year's trip to South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana and Utah, we decided to return once again. Located at 612 North Main Street, the Best Western is a convenient jumping-off place for the many attractions in the area. The hotel itself, which has 139 rooms, is comfortable, quiet, clean, friendly and accommodating with an indoor swimming pool, laundromat, business center, fitness center, bar/lounge, concierge, dry cleaning service and free breakfast. Our room offered a welcome space to relax after long days of sight-seeing. It featured a king-size bed, coffee maker, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, high speed internet access and cable satellite TV that included ESPN, CNN, HBO, Fox News and Disney.

The staff was helpful and friendly. My room was decorated nicely and had a nice layout. The hotel is closed to food and entertainment. Comfortable bed and good internet speeds. Good selection of breakfast items.

We stayed one night to break up a long drive. The staff at check-in and checkout was friendly. The room was clean. Good location. Breakfast was satisfactory. Sheridan is a cute little town, but if you want to eat, you'd better do it well before 9 pm as everything closes down.

Very easy to find with the overhead walkway going across the road. Reception staff were very welcoming but we could have done with a guide to find our room as the room was not as obvious to find compared with the other room numbers! Room was clean and very comfortable and breakfast choices were excellent with servers there from 6am to assist.

Great welcome from front desk, very efficient and helpful. However the rooms need a complete redecoration, the whole complex a good clean and breakfast needs to be designed by a catering manager rather than an accountant. Who wants to eat cold scrambled eggs off a cardboard plate using plastic cutlery? No elevators! No room safe! Leaves and garbage left unswept! PLEASE no excuse for this. All staff were very friendly and helpful, it's the management that need replacing.

The hotel is an unattractive number of buildings on both sides of the street. The decor is quite outdated. The room was fine but the bed showed a very thin layer of some blanket. I had cold during the night. Moreover the noisy fridge woke me up. When I decided to turn it of and put the heating on, the noisy heating woke me up ! A very bad night's sleep. Breakfast is included but for me this type of cheap breakfast buffet does not interest me anymore. Weak and tasteless coffee, dry and cold scrambled eggs, deep frozen bread, Plastic cups, plates and cutlery. Thank you. I will go and pay for a decent breakfast somewhere else.

Yet another two nights at a BW, always good and this one is no exception, very nice clean and comfortable room and it's always nice to stay with BW. Breakfast is always included in the price and is generally very good as it is here. Look forward to our next stay in a few days time.

There are 4 different buildings..Older hotel..First room was near pool..front desk was nice & moved us..I get sick from the smell of chlorine..I'm surprise they haven't went to salt..Chlorine so bad for u..The other room was decent.. A/C loud..The breakfast was ok,had nice fruit..I like pre made oatmeal ,they had paks with the fixings..so ok..Town is nice...The have a pathway to take a walk..Sculptures in the town..was really nice..

We stayed overnight here as part of a tour group. The room felt more like a motel than a hotel, especially for those rooms which opened directly onto the parking area. Our room had no bar fridge, no safe & no cupboard for our clothes. But the bed was very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep there, which was all that we were really there for.

Exterior and rooms need updating. Exterior looks older than others we've stayed in. The lobby is beautiful but the rooms look very tired. Could use a little love. Front desk was quite busy when we checked in but the clerk was very professional and friendly with ever person she checked in.

Samantha was the highlight of my visit! She has very great customer service, very happy and friendly. She's also very helpful. The rooms were clean, the service was excellent. I would stat here again.

It was very easy to make a reservation. Checking in was pleasant. The room was sparkling clean, and the air was already on for me. I really had a great burger, cooked to perfection and served to me by a chef in a truck while I was relaxing in a wonderful bar. The bartender made a perfect martini, or two. The lobby was more than inviting, and the hotel has a bit of interesting history. I plan to come back.

Older hotel but completely refurbished. The room was clean and beds comfortable. WiFi was free and they had ports by the bed to plug in phone and iPad. Indoor pool but we did not check it out. Nice bar for drinks in the evening and good breakfast was provided.

This is a great place to stay. It's close to shopping and many restaurants. The staff in all departments were very accommodating. I would recommend this place to everyone! I was broke down here and they gave me a special rate for being stranded.

This very modern motel is perfect. Clean rooms, excellent staff. They do not have a restaurant but suggested the hotel over the road which was great. They happily stored our bags till our car was available.

I have stayed here every summer for 7 years. This year was quite different because of the new ownership. The price of this hotel is in the range as others in the area ($110-120/night) but they have always offered a free full breakfast and would give you a couple drink tickets for their bar when you checked in. Well the new ownership got rid of the drink tickets and when I was there, the kitchen was "broken" and they had no breakfast available. I asked do I get some kind of rate discount since I had originally paid for these items and now am not getting them. The answer was a very rude "NO!". Well looks like I'll be staying elsewhere in Sheridan from now on.

Very clean, lovely breakfast buffet, efficient front desk, quiet room. Comfy bed, lots of hot water. Even tho my dog wasn't traveling with me this time, Inoticed that there is a dog area on hotel property.

My husband and I stayed here on a whim on our way home from Yellowstone.... The receptionist that booked our room was friendly and answered all our questions about good food in the area... our room was spacious and clean.. Beds were comfy and plenty of hot water to stand in after a few days of camping... At breakfast the next morning all staff was VERY polite, courteous and willing to help... It's a free breakfast of sausage, eggs, toast bagels, waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit etc... plenty to choose from. I would recommend this hotel.

Four of us were on a motorcycle trip and stayed at this hotel for one night! Check in was a little confusing as the lobby was on one side and our room was across the highway on the other side. That was no problem but we were on the top floor and after a long day of driving in the +40 temperature, an elevator would have been nice, we were just exhausted. Our room was small and dated but had great AC which we were so thankful for. We had a good sleep and breakfast in the morning was good, then we were down the highway again. My only complaint would be nothing to do with the BW, it would be the line up of people going to the drive thru next door and not letting us back out in the parking lot. I can't believe how inconsiderate some drivers are, very sad. Thanks BW, we had a good stay.

This hotel was more of a motel, no elevators which made getting all the luggage to the 2nd floor difficult. The room was clean.The wi-fi wasn't very good. The beds are comfortable and the decor was very nice.

Stayed here for one night as part of a tour group. Acceptable accommodation. Relatively quite. Nice bed. No evening restaurant in the hotel but there is a food truck in the car park from 1600-1900 every evening. Very nice burgers.

We booked this hotel while on a road trip to Colorado. We supposedly got the last room available, which was handicapped accessible. We parked in a spot in the back alley, close to where our room was located. First of all, when we walked in the room it smelled of deodorizer. I thought I could smell cigarette smoke. The air conditioner was so noisy that we couldn't leave it on while we slept. So the room was uncomfortably hot! Next, the pool is centrally located, but not enclosed in a separate area. The pool was open until 10pm and there were a lot of noisy people being inconsiderate. And lastly, when I went to take a shower, I noticed dark splatter on the walls of the shower. I tried to rinse it off, but it wouldn't come off. I wasn't about to try to scrub it off, because it looked like poop splatter! I know we were in a handicapped accessible room, but come on! This was disgusting, so I decided to forego the shower! This hotel does NOT meet our usual best western standards!!

Friendly staff at check in. Went straight to room and that's were it began. Room smelled musty and damp. Couldn't put my finger on it but suspect poor venting on air conditioner. Air also didn't work well. Had it set wide open and it was 1:30AM before it really cooled off. The best was yet to come, my kid went to brush his teeth in the morning and had a bug sitting on his toothbrush! Game over, I won't be back.

This hotel gives you a rustic sense. The outside decor is fitting for this part of the U.S. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Room was very nice. No elevators, I have a replaced knee. It was full was the Motorcycle Rally near by.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. It has a nice bar that it seemed to me people were having a great time!!!! The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast but it didn't have any eggs or breakfast meats, people was asking for something else than just waffles. The dining room staff was very friendly.

This is our 3rd time here on long summer road trips to the Pacific Northwest. We love it's dog friendly, great pool, and our room was a spacious 2nd floor unit with tall ceilings. We do miss the hot tub that was removed. See you next summer!

The rooms where quiet and comfortable. The fenced grassy courtyard was well groomed and maintained, a nice retreat from the summer heat. The continental breakfast was delicious. The dining was very clean and the staff was friendly : )

Nice staff with a special shout out for Julian on the bar. However, strange place with lobby, breakfast and bar on one side of the road and accommodation and pool the other. Our disabled room had great shower space but lousy shower, no natural light!!! and the vending and ice machines making a racket just outside. Just cos we're disabled don't mean we're deaf!

I spent four days in Historic Downtown Sheridan and never used my car. I Was able to walk to great breweries and restaurants. Rib & Chop House was excellent dinner spot. Luminous Brewery had live music events. Thursday night had a farmer's market downtown. And, check out the Silver Spur for breakfast. A Wyoming classic!

Very friendly, helpful staff, who recommended a good restaurant for our evening meal. Rooms clean, with parking right outside. Breakfast was good, but at an extra cost. Sheridan is very small with little going on, but if in the area again, I'd stay here.

This was one stop with a Globus tour out West. The hotel has undergone recent renovations.The bar area was nice, the rooms clean and centrally located. We didn't have much time to explore the area. I would stay here again if in the area again. The continental breakfast was all cold foods. The kitchen was either not operating or opened up after the renovation

I booked this hotel on Priceline we booked a king room suite with a whirlpool tub. We walked into the room and it had a regular tub. We called the front desk and they say they could do nothing since it was a third party booking. We were told by Priceline the hotel would not refund any money. The room was small. Needed updated. The air conditioner didn't work well. The swimming pool was cloudy and no hot tub. Breakfast is included but don't expect much as it only has waffles, cereal and toast, no meat. I'd keep looking if you want a friendly front desk and a updated room.

This Best Western is in the older section of town. It was high priced for the area. The toilet paper was single ply which for the price we were paying should have been a soft 2 ply. Also the bed sheets had two black marks on them like someone had sat on the bed with their shoes on. The breakfast was a deluxe continental style. But for the price there should have been more protein offered. The Cody, WY BW that we stayed in the night before had an amazing breakfast. The staff was A-1, especially the gentleman in the breakfast room. My suggestion would be to check the other side of town and compare prices.

We were not expecting much but it turned out to be a decent hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. We had a double queen room, added a rollaway & had our dog but we all got comfortably. Pool was fun for the kids although kind of dark. I would recommend it for families traveling through Sheridan.

Our tour group was scheduled to stay here for one night, en route from Mount Rushmore to Yellowstone. The lack of an elevator for a two-story hotel does not concern me, but incorrect directional signs do. I could not find the correct room number, or the correct building. That is the biggest booboo of this complex. It appears to have started out as a small hotel/motel in a single building. Now there seems to be about six buildings crossing various streets, one building with an elevated walkway crossing a busy street. This Best Western is TripAdvisor reviewer ranked 6 of 19 Sheridan hotels. That should tell you something. With few hotels, there's no need for management to improve. Given that there are many buildings, it's impossible to guess at how many rooms there are. When I discovered the clock was 30 minutes behind and I couldn't adjust it, I phoned reception. No answer. I tried again five minutes later. No answer. I walked across the side street to the lobby. Eight guests were lined up—and only one registration staff member. That's why should couldn't answer the phone! This is poor management, not the fault of the employee. I explained the problem and she said she'd have someone adjust the clock. An hour later I called, got no answer, and had to go back to the lobby. I know she was frustrated, and I kept my dissatisfaction in check. The included breakfast is meager, a few selections to place on a paper plate and “enjoy” with a plastic fork. Hey, it was for only one night. The reason I assigned 3 Stars is that the staff is overwhelmed. I'm sure if management hired enough staff members to accommodate so many guests, service would improve. I advise, however, that you consider other Sheridan hotels reviewed on TripAdvisor. Best Western missed the mark.

If location matters to you, this is a good place to stay. Right on Main Street a few minutes walk to town center. The accommodation is motel-like. Very basic furnishings. But it is clean and comfortable. It does include breakfast. Probably comparable to other hotels in this small town.

If you only care about location then consider this a five star place because it's right downtown and you can walk everywhere. If you care about updated rooms, cleanliness, ice machines that work, a decent breakfast, and not be creeped out by some of the cleaning crew, probably best to stay away.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Cody from Hill City, but we wished we had been able to stay two nights. The hotel is in a good location easy walking to bars, brewery, resturants. Our room was on the second floor on the same side of the street as the reception. It was large and clean with two beds smallish bath room. Breakfast was the usual plastic affair very small plastic spoon to try and eat your cereal with, nice fresh fruit salad but difficult to eat with plastic cutlery. Sheridan is a nice town with a good high street with lots of sculptures, there is a nice park and a river walk. Good bars and eating places.

The room was clean but unexceptional. The breakfast was only average for a more modest motel. A virtue (I suppose) is that this is a sprawling property with, if effect three separate modules with different configurations. Downtown is only blocks away, so that is an advantage. Comparable properties nearer the interstate were cheaper and I can't account for the difference in price.

Room was fine but why are two telephones necessary..? Nice bathroom but no safety handle in the shower. One of these days someone is going to have an accident because of this and sue the hotel chain for millions....! Getting to sleep was a problem as there were no less than 11 LEDs illuminating the room that had to be covered over before I could get off to sleep. We were here for three nights. On the first morning we went out sightseeing and returned at 2.30pm only to find our room hadn't been made up. The person at reception said that all rooms are made up by 3.00pm so we went out for a meal. Got back at 5.00 only to find the room still hadn't been made up. Complained to reception again and they didn't seem to know why it hadn't been done but got someone to do it by 6.00pm. On the second morning we got back from sightseeing and found that, although the room had been made up, it hadn't been done properly. The empty cardboard tube had been removed from the toilet roll holder but not replaced with a new roll. Packets of sugar, creamer & stirrer had not been replaced, nor had tea bags. I 'phoned down to reception and was told they would send someone up. After an hour no one had come so I called again and was told, "We're very busy". What, too busy to look after their customers properly....? This time I got really annoyed and told them that if housekeeping had done their job properly, this wouldn't be happening. Five minutes later someone turned up with ONE of the missing items and had to go back for the rest. The only good thing about the breakfast was the fruit salad. Otherwise it was a big disappointment. Orange juice was cheap and sour tasting, white bread tasted of chemicals and the muffins were dry (Stale..?).

We checked in around 6 PM. on Memorial Day weekend 2018. The garbage cans in the room were not empty or clean and the carpet had not been vacuumed. Very disappointed in the condition of the room in fact not even sure if the sheets had been changed as they were extremely wrinkled. We did find out when we checked out the following morning that house keeping is available until 9 PM. Anyway not a motel I will stay at in the future nor can I recommend it to others. Seems management would assure the rooms were clean prior to renting them to customers.

We got to the hotel a little after 3 and couldn't check in for an hour. Plus the restaurant was closed and there was no hot breakfast, though the website had said there was. The room is dated, but the decor was nice with nice art. We would stay there again for the location. And they did allow our dog. The bed was good, as was having a refrigerator. We went the next block to eat breakfast.

This motel is old and dirty. I arrived late, exhausted, pulling a camper about 450 miles that day. I booked on the phone without checking out pics or reviews. When I arrived, I parked in their lobby parking as the gal suggested, and then found the front desk. It's shabby. Really shabby. I got my key and asked if there was parking near the room. No, there is no camper parking anywhere except the lobby parking lot, and it's not really camper parking; you just park across four or five regular parking spaces. She said my room was across the street and to take the "sky bridge" there. Um, ok. "Is there an elevator"? No. No, there isn't. I head to my room. The sky bridge moves when you walk on it, the windows popping with the movement. AWFUL. I get to the other side, and it's really bad. Everything is old and stinky and noisy. I find my room and open the door. It smells like pee. I close the door without setting foot inside and return to the lobby. "My room smells like pee." "That's the only pet room we have available." "But it smells like pee." "That's all we have available." "Do you have any Lysol?" **looks to her left and right**. "No, we don't have any." Turns out someone had peed on the bed. I found out when I laid down to go to sleep. I found dead flies in the window sill. The shower was half coming out the shower and half coming out the spigot. The shower curtain was way too long and you stepped on it while you were in the shower. The next morning I checked out the free breakfast. NO HOT FOOD. Ugh. I asked if there was a restaurant nearby. She pointed to my right, saying, "There's a great place about a block that way." I walked a block that way. NO RESTAURANT. So I checked Google Maps. It was the opposite direction. Also, this hotel is far from the freeway and I got stuck behind a stupid train on my way there. This place is the worst Best Western I've ever stayed at. And it cost me about $135.

Room had carpet stains and strange odor. I always carry air freshener thank good ness. Breakfast was sparse...no yogurt. When I complained about the odor and carpet stain the checkout person told me they were having a professional cleaner come in the next week and they were under new management.!!! NO EXCUSE!!!

Overnight stay on a tour of the West.All was good with our room, it had all the facilities expected of a hotel in this part of the country. The hotel was vast with plenty of rooms to cater tours. Breakfast was ample.

It s a big hotel: 4 seperate buildings. The receptionist was really friendly. When we went to our room it was really hot. We had put on the AC and went on a search for a restaurant. Not a lot of choice, everything closes early. When we came back to our room it was still had. A half hour later we got a new room with a better working AC. The rooms are fine. Cleaning could ve been done a little bit better though.

What appeared online as a nice Western lodge was in reality a tired, dirty, worn-out hotel with two wings on either side of main street joined by a skywalk, with dark bedrooms with dark, tired, worn carpets and worn linens, inadequately cleaned by too few chambermaids; a sad, large undecorated breakfast room with depleted supplies and poorly cleaned with no attendant; a glaringly lit lobby devoid of charm or engaging staff and serving primarily as a pedestrian bypass to other wings. Positives: nice indoor pool and located on historic main street in walking distance of restaurants and shops. Hotel frankly overpriced and not worth the value.

Does not meet Best Western standards. Hotel lobby area to left of check in desk was extremely dirty. Staff was nice. Entered our room, initial feel was dirty. Carpet was not vacuumed, bathroom floor was not completely cleaned, the bed was made however, it looked like someone played in it and then left. We left and found a nicer hotel in the same area for the same price.

The Best Western in Sheridan Wy is a worn out hotel. Hallways are smelly, carpet in rooms seems dirty. The breakfast was pathetic...the worst I've ever seen.....everything was empty and there were no healthy options. I would not stay here again.

Very basic hotel in need of renovation & upgrades. The front desk staff was very nice & professional, the room was fairly clean with the exceptions for the stains on the carpet. The breakfast was a disaster! I walked in and walked out of the room where the breakfast was served because it was very messy & disorganized!

This was probably a very nice hotel thirty years ago, but it's definitely showing its age now. On the positive, the staff was very nice and responsive, and the room was very spacious and comfortable enough. The food in the attached restaurant was also pretty good. On the negative, the layout is annoying with the lobby on one side of the street and the rooms on the other, connected by a sky bridge that is up three flights of stairs. The whole place is getting to be pretty run down and feels a bit depressing and shabby. The pool is small but nice, but the hot tub was just tepid at best and there was no way to increase the temperature. Worst thing was that the toilet plugged up and overflowed--luckily only on the morning we were leaving. Finally, the breakfast was OK, and included freshly made eggs and bacon. But the waffle maker timer didn't work and the selection of other items was very limited. The coffee cups were just little paper ones, no tops for to-go, and they even ran out of those shortly after we came in. In sum, a decent budget hotel, but way over-priced at $130.

We often stay in Best Western hotels and we find them good but unfortunately this one did not live up to expectations. The bed was comfortable but our room though fairly clean lacked care. The pellet on the curtain was broken as was the radiator. We could not switch off he fan in the bathroom. Neither of us slept well.

We were there for my son's soccer tournament. The blackstone grill was awful. There was one server for the entire place. The food took forever and was not that good. The hotel itself was a little dated for the price we paid. We had to pay a "special" rate because of the soccer tournament, which was more expensive than anticipated. The hotel took advantage of the fact that they knew it would be a busy weekend, so they basically charged a summer rate. Breakfast was lacking, the supply went down very fast, not much to choose from. In the future, hotel management and staff needs to better prepare for the influx of people to the town. Sheridan is not equipped to handle thousands of people flooding to the town all at once. We will not be staying here again.

I did a much more complete review on bring fido so I will just review here. Good- It has a restaurant and bar on the premises. The beds are reasonably comfortable and there's decent stream in the bathroom shower. There is a pool and hot tub. Bad- There was mold in the water compartment out the coffee maker and the AC did not work and it was hot as heck. Breakfast was pretty pathetic other than the bacon everything was old and dried out and it opened late and there were no employees in sight. So so- There were people sleeping in their car in the parking lot. It's very dated and worn. Parking is tight and not much of it unless you want a park behind the building. No place to walk your dogs except a street and using the grass medians next to the sidewalk. My most important thing is cleanly ness and it wasn't awful but it wasn't great. I gave it 2 stars due to the AC and the mold in the coffee maker.

Check-in and check-out experience was extremely mediocre. e.g. Here is a breakfast coupon and a rough direction for your room in another building. Mentioned TV didn't work and clearly got the "don't care".

Make reservations prior to stopping and ask for a room at the rear of the hotel if you like quiet. Most rooms have parking immediately outside the room and can be very noisy with people coming and going. The hotel is comprised of three separate buildings, and you may need to walk to the central building for breakfast.

pool and spa are in seperate building, make sue you check it could be accross busy street. this is a typical park in front of your door noisey hotel. old and outdated. restaurant needs lots of help. overall just average. Tavern is fun !

Headed home to South Dakota from Montana for Christmas, and arrived in Sheridan for the evening. Chilly night, but the rooms were warm and quiet. There was an "open mic" going on in the lobby, which was awesome. Room was very clean, and the shower had awesome water pressure (super hot...it was great!). Due to the proximity of the holiday, breakfast staff was a little sparse. Seating took a little longer because there was only one person (one incredibly brave, valiant person...nothing but praise here) manning the front desk AND the café. One person responsible for cooking food, taking calls, bussing tables, and seating new customers. Color me impressed. I didn't even mind the wait. I was sat with another hotel guest (to save our host from even more undue stress) and had a lovely conversation over breakfast. Of note: breakfast is outstanding. There are several options to choose from, and bacon/eggs are made to order. The coffee is divine. TL;DR - The Best Western Sheridan Center has staff selected from the Saints. Their rooms are clean and warm, the breakfast is made to order, and the ambiance is inviting. 5/5 stars.

Great location and staff. They went out of their way to make our group feel welcome. Older facility that is in decent repair, probably nearing the need for another remodel. Guests are in walking distance of all downtown sites, restaurants, theaters, breweries, etc.

Stayed one night on the second floor near the pool. Beautiful room. Very quiet, comfortable, and clean. Maintenance is excellent. Everything in the room worked perfectly. Very nice breakfast included in the price. Would happily stay there again.

Planned on two nite stay but ended up 4 nites due to snow storm with the roads closed. Staff was very accommodating breakfast was good pool and hot tub were enjoyable definately will stay there on our next trip to Sheridan

Katrina was amazing. She had been brought out of housekeeping to assist with the Easter Buffet and was handling seating and was confronted by a very difficult customer and she handled it amazingly. Great Job

Old downtown location makes it very difficult if not impossible to walk your pets except in alley or neighbors yards (which I'm sure they do not appreciate), Might be better in the summer when you could go to dog park but really not great in snowy weather. Lot's of pets and lots of mess outside in parking lot and alley.

Encountered bad driving conditions about 2 hours from home destination. Greeted by a very friendly, accommodating receptionist. Server at breakfast went out of her way to help clean our vehicle of snow so we could preceed on our journey.

We stayed overnight for a friend's wedding. My fiance and I were very happy with a super clean room and fast internet. Front desk personnel were extremely helpful and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a very pleasant and refreshing trip. After a full day of meetings and frenzy of work activity it was so wonderful and refreshing to return to my room - at the end of the day, and feel like I'm home. The staff at the desk and the dining room humbled me with their kindness and service. I wish every business trip was like this!

Price was very good and room was clean. Staff was friendly but lobby is opposite side of street, which is not very convenient. This is probably not a big deal during warm weather, but in winter you have to either deal with ice on the road or climb 3 flights of stairs to sky bridge. Free Breakfast is not self service, but ordered from a four item menu. Food was good, but service is pretty slow, so breakfast takes 30-40 minutes. The restaurant also serves noon and evening meals. Food is decent, but service was really slow. I would definitely stay here again for the value, but probably avoid the restaurant.

To start off, WOW WHAT A GREAT PLACE !!!! Lol we stayed here using there special coupon which advertised one room, hot tub, pool, surf and turf, drinks, soup and salad bar, & breakfast for only $99 !!!! Yes you heard right and All month long!! Room was very nice and super clean. Great comfortable bed, coffee and tea with maker, refrigerator, iron & board, flat screen tv. Duel doors which make coming back from the pool and hot tub even better. Pets are also welcome. Staff was amazing from Levi at the front desk to Brett and Ted.....all go above and beyond the call of duty.. If you are in Sheridan or out of town you will enjoy this deal ... Hurry while you can.... This is a super great stay.

The welcome was good and luggage delivered promptly. The room was fine and assistance came quickly when required. Breakfast and dinner were served on the other side of the road, accessible by a bridge which was two storeys up from the ground floor with no lifts. There was a pool and a hot tub and breakfast was good with waffles, bacon and scrambled egg. Not a good stop for anyone with mobility problems.

The room was clean, bed comfy and they had a very cool pool with a big open area and a lot of wood paneling and beams. The rooms on 2nd floor had high ceilings made out of wood. All of the people we encountered were very friendly and polite. The hotel is on both sides of Main Street, connected by a Sky Bridge. The restaurant has very good prices and great food. The breakfast was free, but you had to order it from a waitress in the restaurant. They don't offer a buffet. It was a standard BW breakfast (cakes, eggs, waffles, yogurt or cereal/oatmeal). Overall, a great place.

our hockey team stayed here while in town for a tournament. all staff were friendly and helpful. finding hotel and access was very easy. room were great and at a reasonable price too .the over main street walkway gives a great view of the city and mountains.

Beds were very comfortable and we were accomadated close to pool with last minute check in.. Had no problems with our room and enjoyed stay overall! We will be returning to a Best Western and enjoy the points we earn to save money on our next trip!!!

This hotel is a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! It's quiet, even with buses of athletes staying at the same time. We happened to be attending a basketball tournament so it was to be expected. Would highly recommend! Close to beautiful downtown! Bar and restaurant on property.

The Best Western in Sheridan is one of the nicest locations I've ever stayed at. It's in a great location close to downtown. The service from the front desk is not the best but the bartenders and wait staff are excellent.

We stayed here for one night as part of a bus tour. Having requested a quiet room we were allocated a 2nd floor dark, grubby looking and depressing room nearest to the main road with no external window and stairs and with the large hallway aircon unit right outside the door! Our tour director went straight back to reception and we were then given a room in the conference centre over the road, which was of reasonable size with two queen size beds. A motel style accommodation, not up to the standards of other hotels on our tour.

Best Western in Sheridan is convenient to Historic downtown and Rt. 90. The several occasions I have stayed here have always been pleasant. The staff has never failed to be friendly and courteous. Clean.

Hotel is laid out over a couple of city blocks, parking for larger vehicle/trailer combo is difficult. Staff very professional and helpful. I would stay there again if I were driving a smaller vehicle..

Room was clean & comfortable. Internet worked well. Staff was gracious. Breakfast was poor - little fruit, no oatmeal or yogurt. I'm not a fan of biscuits & gravy...Typical waffle maker and scrambled eggs.

This is a very nice motel with a great staff all around. It has a nice bar/lounge, restaurant with average but clean and efficient rooms. The walk way over the highway is very handy for access to these areas plus the meeting rooms.

Called hotel to see if they would honor on line price to stay in the King Executive Room for a week. They wouldn't so we booked on line. It showed picture of a big room, double couches and a big tub. When checking in we received a handicap room with a shower. I called front desk and told them what I had booked and even had pictures to prove it. They told me they had no rooms with couches but they could move me into a King room with a tub the next day, I showed the gal at the front desk what I had booked and she said again there were no rooms with couches so she had no idea how that picture got online. I switched the next day into a small room with a tub, after again showing the new gal pictures of what I had booked. When I was in the lobby getting coffee I heard the front desk asking if a customer would like the suite which had couches and a big tub. So several employees lied, mislead and hassled me. Very bad customer service!! Will ever stay or refer anyone there again, and we stay in Sheridan often to see family and for hunting trips.

True to hotel guest nature, we came to breakfast at the very last moment. We were still greeted and accommodated very nicely by Brett and the other restaurant staff- they were very professional and helpful. Comfy beds and fun pool/hot tub as well! All hotels should have this great standard of service

It's an easy thing to over look but as I was in the shower I could see filth in and around the vent. When I turned the heater on it blew that filth all over the bathroom, which I could also over look seeing as how it's likely the first time it's been used this year. I just cleaned it up and carried about my business. But what I couldn't overlook was the pungent smell coming from the vent. There's definitely something dead in there. I would recommend you stay somewhere else, if it's in the cold months anyway. The silver lining was the bed was easily the most comfortable I've ever used, and the best I've ever slept away from home. The service was incredible as well, great staff. Parking is also a nightmare. I shan't be staying at best western Sheridan for the remainder of my days.

We always stay here while traveling through on I-90. The rooms are very comfortable, excellent tv channel selection and wifi. Included is a handy bar/lounge with some great local beer on tap. Their restaurant makes an awesome dinner and breakfast! I had fish with sweet potato fries for dinner, and Granny cakes with eggs and great ham for breakfast. Staff are very helpful and friendly!

I have stayed at this hotel before and really liked it. The staff is great and helpful. The restaurant is good, food is good. Breakfast is open to 5 choices, but you can find something with those choices. Overall, nice place and I will stay there again.

We have stayed at the Sheridan Center previously, but it seems that each succeeding stay is better than the previous. Excellent guest rooms, very friendly and helpful hotel staff, convenient location in downtown Sheridan AND a free breakfast that is prepared by the kitchen instead of the usual run-of-the-mill "buffet" breakfast served by most motels. The only problem was a faulty shower head which was replaced the day we reported the problem. Unbelievable as most reported problems of this nature are rarely acted upon during our hotel/motel stays including the large flagship hotels! Hats off to Sarah who handled our request for a new shower head!!

A very odd hotel with confusing numbering of rooms. some have a door to the room on both sides and others don't. The "Sky Bridge" is a cold tunnel over the road to the buildings on the other side. Go figure. Breakfast is apparently normally a buffet but when we were there it was some pre-ordered affair that the staff clearly had no idea how to cope with. I am still waiting for a teaspoon that I asked for as there was no cutlery available, and that was over two weeks ago. I suspect the staff are still angel gazing and wandering around dazed.

The location was excellent. It was right down town and convenietly located to all of the sights. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location of the rooms to the main part of the hotel made it so easy to walk from one's room to the restaurant. The breakfast was very nice and we could select from a menu guaranteeing what you had was what you wanted and served fresh and hot. Excellent place to walk my dogs right by the river.

We enjoyed our stay- Perfect for visiting Sheridan, options for everyone- great tavern/sports bar and restaurant. Breakfast was awesome and filling with 5 full menu choices- very helpful staff in all areas of the hotel- the indoor pool was clean with a hot tub and seating area. Plenty of space so you dont feel crowded and the location allows for close access for walking to parks and shopping district

The bedrooms were sited away from the main motel, with no security I.e. anyone could drive in and get access to rear door, which had flimsy fittings. Put suitcase behind it and slept fully dressed...Had to adjust the curtains to close and used clothes pegs for that purpose........ have complained to Just You travel group in UK who organised our tour, but felt female travellers need to be aware hence this review.

There really isn't much to say regarding a Best Western hotel - in my experience, they are all comfortable and economical. You know what you're getting. Sheridan's Best Western Sheridan Center has a few notable points that I found pleasant: my room had balcony and hallway entrances (which were surprisingly nice to use,) the overpass - while probably unnecessary in a small town like Sheridan - did offer a roof over my head on a rainy evening, and leaving my keycards in my room was sufficient for checkout - always a plus in my book. It is close enough to downtown and all the amenities one would need for a night's stay. It's the more superfluous details that lead to my enjoyment. Take that as you will. For the less eccentric travelers, the Best Western Sheridan Center is a more distinct facade for the same quality hotel chain. Worth the price, no doubt.

Very affordable, great staff upon check in. Room was great, comfortable bed in room coffee always a bonus. Over all the property is well maintained and very friendly staff. Food was good and bar staff very helpful. Thank again for a great stay!

So, I had reserved adjoining rooms for our group. When we got there, they had been given away. We were there for a 5 day vacation--this did not make for a good trip. Overall, room was clean, food was fine, but come on--when you call and reserve a specific couple of rooms--don't screw up my trip!

Great breakfast, clean rooms! Check-in was fast and easy. Close to downtown and all the neat features and “must-see” attractions of the town! There is a pool and walkway over the street connecting the hotel. Quiet and the shower was great!

This was a great place to stay for our stopover in Sheridan. The pool was a good size to work off energy in us and the kids after 10 hours in the car. Breakfast was biscuits and gravy along with eggs, bacon and the usual continental fare. The only negative would have been having our room in a completely different building than the pool and breakfast, but we arrived later and night and the hotel was full. Overall it was a good stay for the money.

Stayed a few nights while hunting . Great atmosphere. Nice room, clean and great beds. Had a good breakfast with many items to choose from. Had a great bar and restaurant. Friendly staff and would stay again.

We drive through Sheridan twice a year,spring and fall,and always find it very convenient to overnight at the Best Western. Following an 8 hour drive it's great to relax, enjoy a couple of drinks at the on site bar and grill, in a very friendly environment. The rooms are nice and quiet, providing a good night's sleep. It"s become our favorite stopover during our yearly commute.

Lovely hotel in this little town. Friendly, efficient staff, Clean, generous sized room with great beds, a good nights sleep. We found a great bar/restaurant attached to the lobby for dinner when we rolled into town rather late. Downside: average motel breakfast and lobby building is across a busy street from the rooms.

We had a king room on the first floor which had two doors, one to the inside hall and one outside door. It was nice to be able to park right at the door. The breakfast was good, scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuit and gravy, fresh fruit and pancakes.

This place has no elevator and is poorly lit and confusing to get around. The room itself was comfortable and it had a wood ceiling which gave it character but overall the hotel itself needs a complete overhaul.

We stopped here between Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore. The room was clean and comfortable enough, and the staff was fine. There is a bar and restaurant which had lots of people in it but we did not use until breakfast, which was fine. Parking right in front of the room was very convenient. If you're making a stop between, this wouldn't be a pretty good choice.

the Motel needs better maintenance, the room was clean enough. Towel rack was pulled from the wall, AC unit was loud, ran all the time and did little to cool the room. Upon returning to my room on Wednesday night (9/27/2017) I found a pile of feces at the top of the stairs (I'm not positive it was canine). The hotel was loud, Tuesday night it was the tour buses and that crowd that were beyond impolite. Wednesday night three drunks set up a band (ok, one guitar) outside my room and proceeded to serenade the other guest for hours, literally hours. They finally stopped, or passed out around 4 in the morning. Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, but were over whelmed by the sheer number of guests, tour buses, etc. and the poor woman managing the breakfast buffet was as hard working as it gets, she needs help when you have that many buses, construction, railroad, and other guest. The location is great, but this property is tired and not staff adequately. I stayed two nights and managed to get about 3 hours of sleep.

Used this hotel as a stopover between Mt Rushmore and Yellowstone. The rooms were more motel like than hotel. Our room was quite dark and dour and could do with a refresh. This hotel is split over several buildings, some the other side of the main road. It is used by coach tour companies and so breakfast time can be busy. One big plus was a nice bar in the hotel.

My husband, dog and I stayed here on our way from Idaho to Pennsylvania. The main selling point was the $20 dog fee, but it was a good place to stay for the night. The room was clean and comfortable (although no frills). We ate dinner at the bar and the food was really good and reasonably priced. If I drive through Sheridan again, I would definitely stay here.

Friendly check in clerk. Great sized room, onsite parking near to room. Great to have the bathroom separate to the wash basin. Breakfast included in price. No elevator, so had to carry suitcases up to the 2nd floor. All in all a very good best western.

My room was clean and comfortable with the king-sized bed probably more comfortable than my bed at home! The staff was quite pleasant and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was also quite nice too! If you're in Sheridan for business or pleasure the hotel and it's staff will leave you wanting to come back to Sheridan as soon as you can to enjoy a taste of Wyoming hospitality at its best!

There were several problems with this hotel, but there is never an excuse for not being clean. My bathtub was disgusting. Even if it is just a stained mat that is permanent, change the dang mat! The entire room got a very poor once over that I suppose they considered housekeeping. Yuck!

Clueless, untrained, unfriendly and uncaring. I've stayed at this Best Western at least 20 times in the last 5 years. Something has changed for the worse in the last 6 months or so. Will not be staying here again without changes being made

Arrived at 6.30pm - the room was not ready - after a wait it was then we found the toilet wouldn't flush. This hotel is very tired, it is a sleep factory for package holidays and to make it worse it is spread over three blocks, one of which is the other side of the main road. I wouldn't use again. Had dinner at the Sheridan Inn on Fifth Street, which is a listed Historic Hotel, previously run by Buffalo Bill. Went on a Tuesday when it offered angus beef burger dinners for 5 dollars & draft beer for 2.5 dollars. Excellent value in lovely surroundings

We stayed at the Sheraton as part of our Titan Tour. We decided to eat in and shared a rib eye steak as it was large and too much for one person. It wasn't the best ribeye and when we asked for the tab our waitress asked if we had a coupon. We didn't know what she was talking about and paid the bill. When we got back to the room we found the coupon she was referring to stuck to our TV. I went straight back to the restaurant with it but the manager refused to honour it as we had already paid. Any other hotel would easily be able to credit the card. It left a bad taste and we cannot recommend a hotel that is so inflexible.

Stopped at the Best Western for a night's stay. Service was very good. Room was clean and quiet. The lounge was very nice and was able to enjoy some beverages while watching the football game and the many TV's scattered around the lounge. The breakfast bar was good. Will stay here again when passing through in the future.

This Best Western was average. Next time I would probably stay some place better. This is a older property. It's an old style "drive up" motel. It's actually a large complex that includes several blocks of buildings located on 2 or 3 different city blocks. It's a "weird" set-up in my opinion. The carpeting and furniture was a bit dated. It has the older style sink areas with very limited space. It has older looking shower stalls. Also this is one of those motels that gets lots of tour busses. this property has a pool, but it was closed. No one bothered to mention that at check-in or when I was booking the room. One of the most positive things I could say about this property is the beds are fairly nice and comfortable. Also it appeared to be fairly clean. There is a restaurant located on site, but we much preferred Frackeltons located more in the downtown area. Again, next time I'd stay someplace better.

Sheridan is a fantastic community and the Best Western is a great hotel, extremely pleasant stay. Clean with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommend! The prime rib buffet was a very pleasant surprise - affordable and high quality food!

We were part of a tour that stayed overnight in Sheridan (a town that basically shuts down at 5pm). This was the worst hotel of our whole tour and our group was pretty unanimous that it should be removed as a place to stay. While the Enigma restaurant was OK, the breakfast buffet was one of the worst I have ever experienced. No meat or fruit, cold, hard eggs and they also couldn't find a tea bag and suggested that I check my room for one. The room had a dirty carpet and the a/c was incredibly loud and annoying as it cycled on and off continuously. When I complained to the waitress, she apologized and said I should complain on Tripadvisor.

This hotel was terrible and I would not recommend it to anyone. It needs to be cleaned up and redone from the floors up. The check-in and check-out staff was nice, which is a lot more that I can say for the breakfast staff that were rude at best. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Customer service is practically non-existent at this establishment. The breakfast lacks description, no meat, horrible coffee, and a staff to replenish those items. Our experience at ck-in was one of indifference, rudeness and take what the front-desk has to offer. It seemed that my reservation (made two months prior) didn't matter. I was given a map of the premises nor given directions to my room. We will not be staying here again.

Having stayed in a number of Best Westerns throughout the USA I had moderate expectations. Stayed here one night as part of a coach tour from UK. First room allocated, 154 on ground floor was very near the swimming pool and the noise from adult and children swimmers was very intrusive. I arranged a different room with a Tour Manager (269) and found this much quieter. Standard BW. type decor and fittings which appeared to be in fairly good condition compared to some other hotels. Bed comfortable and no concerns over cleanliness. It's a pain having to cross the road to lobby, and you are advised to avoid using the overhead walkway during sunny days as it is like a sauna. Breakfast (included) was fairly limited with only scrambled egg and what I assumed was 'grits'. No bacon or sausage. Selection of cereals, orange juice and breads, pastries. Got up extra early to be there before the rush (3 coaches stayed overnight) and had no problem.

Best Western are my preferred motels when traveling. This particular one was on the most part just fine. The only negative thing is the back and fourth across the street from lobby to room. Next time I will reserve a room in the main building.

This is a motel, not a hotel, right on Main Street. The primary entrance if from the parking lot but does have an interior hallway entrance. It is an older motel, but has some upgrades. Price is reasonable. The complimentary breakfast is very limited.

This hotel is very guest friendly, and family oriented. I stay here all the time and people really treat us like friends family. They are also pet friendly and that is convenient. There is a walking path that follows the creek near by great for going on walks, runs, and taking your dog out. The swimming pool and spa are always clean and stocked with fresh towels. If I've ever had a maintenance issue someone is there right away to take care of it. Great hotel I would recomend it to anyone.

This place was terrible! We get to our room which smelled of dirty feet and the carpet was nasty. Open the closet and a bag of dirty towels was hanging there. The internet connection was off and on. We went to the grill and I ordered a vegetable salad and couldn't have it because they were out of the vegetables. As we were leaving I overheard the waitress telling an elderly gentleman they were out of blue cheese. So we ordered Dominos. The sink would not completely drain. There was a big squished bug in the door jam of the bathroom (pictured). We attempted to go swimming but the pool was murky and very cold. No one else was swimming either. It was supposed to be a breakfast buffet but no meat and some instant eggs. They had toast, mini muffins, and biscuits and gravy. The bed linens seemed clean and the pillows were fluffy. We didn't shower because we could not bear further disappointment. I called the desk a few times with no answer about an unrelated issue that they didn't resolve anyway. For 139 rooms they have 3 vending machines which were out of Pepsi. No snacks just drinks. It seemed easier to stay than switch motels after a long road trip but will never return.

Pretty much what you'd expect from a Best Western but curiously sited with a walkway across the main road (which was so hot that I preferred to risk the traffic). The restaurant is not particularly special while it has a nice bar. When I was there the one person behind the bar was rushed off her feet with orders from the bar and the restaurant. Free coffee in the lounge. Pets allowed so check beforehand if you're allergic.

Best Western Hotels are a hit and miss, in our experience. This one has the great location going for it, rooms are pleasant, although ours was not totally finished being cleaned (?). The only disappointment was the breakfast buffet. Virtually no fruit, cold scrambled eggs fried in dubious quality fat.... just blah..... Otherwise, a decent stay

On the road trip and this hotel was not far from the highway. The room was clean and quiet. The inconvenience was lobby on one side and our room was on the other side of the road. So we checked in and then drove to the other side to get into the room. Same thing happened when checked out.

Modern rooms with good sized bed and furniture, clean and everything you need in a bedroom. Evening meal with offers on food and wine plus complimentary breakfast .no issues it has to be a 5 rating ..

The usual amenities & cleanliness we expect from BW. Also, the desk clerk very kindly let us check in early. Hotel is downtown, within walking distance of many restaurants. There looked to be a nice walking trail in the back.

Really nice motel. Room was clean. Fast check in. Would stay again. BUT, their breakfast was a disaster and after reading the most recent reviews, I would say they haven't really fixed the problem. If you can do breakfast, maybe you want to just cut it out. It makes a bad feeling for a nice motel. Dinner was fine.

Room had a broken air conditioner and was over 80 degrees all night. Finally brought a fan at midnight that helped but no exterior windows so it never cooled off. Staff promised 50% discount but did not honor it at check out.

Memorable experience (not in a good way). We arrived to the hotel late afternoon and checked in. One night only. Lobby decor was nice. They gave us coupons for 2 free drinks for their onsite restaurant. Our room was located across the road and up two flights of stairs, but that's ok. We get to our rooms and find that the floors were dirty and haven't been vacuumed. We call the front desk and ask if someone could come and vacuum our floors. They said they would send someone right away. After waiting for quite some time, and no one showed, we decided to go to dinner. We went to the onsite restaurant. It seemed nice enough. I looked at the features of the day and thought the tomato soup sounded good. We were seated. Waitress spilled a drink on one of our group members (accidents happen). I order the tomato soup but was advised that they were out of the soup. A Ceasar salad?...no ceasar salad, they were out of that too. French onion soup, then? Nope. I ended up having fries. They did have that. The restaurant was freezing. I noticed a lot of people leaving the restaurant. No one in that place looked happy. At the end, we presented the coupons for the drinks only to be told that they are for alcoholic drinks only. Enough about the restaurant.... We get back to our room. We call front desk again and ask again if someone will come and vacuum our floors. A few minutes later the maintenance guy shows up at our door and hands us the vacuum. Huh? He said we have to do the vacuuming ourselves because the cleaners don't work evenings. So, we cleaned the floors ourselves. Next morning, since breakfast was included with the room reservation, we went to have coffee. You guessed it! They ran out of coffee! I was really surprised actually because I expected more from the Best Western chain. I've never had such a negative experience with any other chain before, including other Best Western's. If this is Best Western, I'd hate to see "Worse Western".

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel while traveling to Yellowstone. We were on the bottom floor and the room was very clean and had a lot of space. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Loved the walkway over the road to get to the restaurant. Food was good.

This is a great hotel! We stayed on the ground floor with access to our vehicle outside and then access again to the pool area. The room was clean and satisfactory. The kids had fun at the indoor pool right outside our room! Check in was easy and fast. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!

we used this location as a stop over on our fly drive of the states. the reception was OK nothing exceptional, room was good clean and tidy comfortable bed.. breakfast next morning was ok again nothing special staff serving you seemed to have little experience not very good really... location to town was good but but not a lot going on there in fact it was a Sunday night and very little in way of restaurants were open.. over all the hotel was OK but well over priced!!!!!

This motel is one of the nicest I have ever stayed at. Not only was my room immaculate, it was also actually decorated. From the log headboards to the marble type counter with shelf in the sink area I was thoroughly impressed. The shampoo and body soap dispensers in the shower were also a nifty touch. I will definately reserve a room at Sheridan Center next time I plan to stay in Sheridan.

Average hotel/motel, rooms were not bad, pool was decent, but breakfast was pretty much inedible as far as I'm concerned, one of the worst we've had. Location was nice, but parking stalls were a tight fit for a full-sized vehicle. We'll probably look for something a little nicer next time we pass through.

NO elevator at this hotel!! Hauling luggage up flights of stairs was not easy. Our rooms were across the street and up stairs from the check in desk. No Kleenex in the rooms. Seating for breakfast at the hotel restaurant was extremely slow. We left after a 20 minute wait. They'd said it'd be another 20 minute wait for anything "take out"!

Having read some of the negative reviews, I was reluctant to try this motel. Because it was a Best Western, I called and reached a real person and obtained a reservation in less than five minutes. The room was very clean, well maintained and a great location at a very reasonable summer rate. The staff was very friendly and gave prompt attention. We will stay here again. Busy street wasn't that bad.

After a poor experience at a nearby hotel we checked into the BW for one night with a poolside room. Kids loved playing in the indoor pool and spa. The room was clean with nice toiletries. The weekend breakfast is free and there are several options to choose from for cook to order (not buffet). The manager, Travis, was extremely helpful and the check in staff were friendly and efficient.

Nice hotel and staff but 2 days in a row we couldn't get breakfast. Why they don't make it a buffet I have no idea. There are way to many guests for an order your breakfast system. So it makes me mad when I book a room and think I'm getting breakfast and then have to go pay for it somewhere else.

Comfy beds and room! Wow! Everything looks brand new. We never had a hard time finding parking. The pool is really nice even though we didn't use it! But don't count on a quick hot breakfast that's included in cost!

We drove the scenic drive from the east Yellowstone exit to Sheridan. The lobby is across the street from the room, but there is a skywalk. There is no elevator, so get ready to haul your luggages up the stairs if you stay on the 2nd floor. There are 2 doors to your room: one facing the street, the other is access from the inner hallway. Breakfast is full service, which means when it is short staffed, you may need to wait in line. Some people opt to skip so they can save time in their tight schedule. Staff are helpful. You need coupons for breakfast, be sure to bring it with you. Room is furnished with microwave and fridge, though a little dated in its decor, but consider value for what it offers. Comfortable beds, and clean rooms with wifi service.

We stayed at BW for two nights. It was close to Little Big Horn and Devil's Tower. The town itself was amazing and the staff...exceptional. We ran into a little snag when we first checked in but it was all settled in matter of minutes. No harm, no foul. Since my wife and I love Dairy Queen, it was nice to discover one right next door. Also, right down the street their is a restaurant called Rib and Chop House. Awesome place to eat. It was my birthday so my wife shared that with the server (laughing) and as a result I was given a free dessert and a color photo of us placed in a Rocky Mountain Hospitality framed card. Too cool.

Free breakfast was gone 1/2 hour before end time. The staff did not bring anymore hot breakfast out while we were there. Bed was uncomfortable. The women staff were not very friendly. Lobby was on the other side of the street which had a skywalk but still inconvenient.

Room was clean and adequate. Location is great. Nice to have a spot for our motorcycles. We each got a free drink ticket which was really appreciated.The only problem was the dining room/free breakfast. I think someone needs to help lead all the young folk working there. Seems disorganized, almost an afterthought. The sausages were quite burnt.

Great overall experience and the location near the center of town was very nice with two craft breweries and a small city market within walking distance. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the morning.

Very comfortable king size bed, very clean, well insulated quiet room, nice facilities, and good continental breakfast. Overall pleased. Would have been 5 stars except for billing mistakes and the staff not taking our early reservation requests into account. We requested that we be put in proximity to my sister and her husband. Both parties were listed under our family reunion name. Our rooms were quite far apart on opposite sides of the streets. We were overbilled by $30 compared to our online booking $ total and had to go to the lobby before we left Sheridan and have it corrected, which was quickly and cheerfully done. My sister and her husband were incorrectly overbilled almost $100. Ignoring customer requests and billing errors can cause bad PR. I strongly suggest that motel management address and correct these problems asap.

Very friendly staff. They offered us 2 free drinks. Since we"re not drinkers we got cokes instead. Plus 20% off dinner if you eat there and 50% off breakfast. The room was very comfortable. We both liked that the bedside lights had plug outlets since we both use CPAP machines. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I loved that they more than 1 or 2 packets of coffee since i am a big coffee drinker. The room was spotless and bug free - everything we want in a hotel stay. Excellent!

parking lacks and front desk seemed interrupted by my presence. the restaurant was awesome, both the staff and the food. which was not as true for the breakfast buffet food was simple and hot but lacked in flavors, but the wait staff was great.

We styed here two nights on our way to Rapid City, SD. We got there late afternoon after coming through the big horn mountains. The lobby was nice and the front desk lady was very sweet. We had a room with two queen beds and in the corner was a bunk bed set. So with four of us we all got our own beds. It was nice not having to share for once. The room was clean and nice size. They had no breakfast in the morning, but there is a restaurant they give you a coupon for. ( We never ate in it.) The pool and hot tub were nice size and not very busy. It was a nice hotel

Great rooms, great Internet, attentive staff. Make sure you carry a multi outlet surge protector as the room outlets are few and far apart and in today's high tech environment you need to plug in numerous appliances. No elevator so make sure to request a 1st floor room when you make the reservation if one is needed.

We have stayed here on at least 4 other occasions and had a good experience but this time it was horrible. We always stay a Wednesday thru Sunday on the week of WYO Days and usually book a block of rooms ( in December or earlier) requesting they be close together. When we checked in we were told we would be staying one night in one room and then moved to another room for the rest of our stay. What a pain and the room was dirty. The breakfast was a disaster. They were out of everything, the food was like rubber and the buffet looked like a tornado went through it. The staff working were very friendly and apologetic. Seemed way under staffed. This was the case for the entire stay. Travis at the front desk was helpful in our room transfer, we got to move fairly early. Sadly that room wasn't any cleaner. There was only one employee in the bar and she had a difficult time keeping up. Once again very understaffed. Our experience checking out was the icing on the cake. As I mentioned before we reserve several rooms under a block and at check out the individuals who stayed in the rooms pay individually for the room they stayed in. We have never had a problem with this before. Karisa was working the front desk when myself and another member of our group arrived to check out. She immediately had an attitude with us. Twice she asked us to step aside to help other customers while we were working with her. She treated them with respect and professionally. We explained several times what room number we were in and how many nights we were paying for but she was very argumentative. She told us she couldn't print receipts showing that our individual credit cards paid for the room. Very loud and rudely she said she didn't know how to do what we wanted and that it was her first time working alone and she didn't have anyone there who could help her. I told her she should call someone for help if she didn't know but that she didn't need to be rude and disrespectful to us. She put her hands up in the air and said whoo, whoo, whoo, At that point I just gathered my things and left. I have a receipt that shows the credit card # of the individual who makes the reservations. Karisa also swiped my credit card so now waiting to see what shows up on my bill. I am very disappointed with the whole thing. We come every year as part of the Indian Relays and we have never had this happen. Guess we may need to look for rooms else where.

The girl at the check in counter was rude. She had an attitude when I asked if there were any openings for the final night of our stay in Sheridan. The guy at the breakfast buffet was loud and abrasive. A woman complained because one morning they didn't have silverware, plates, or many bread items out. He was loud and abrasive to her. I felt very uncomfortable. The coffee was burnt every morning at breakfast. The girl at the counter when my boyfriend went to retrieve his clothes was very rude. She wouldn't acknowledge him and sent him on a wild goose chase to find his clothes. It was a mess. There was a clear lack of communication and professionalism. There were some employees that appeared to be on drugs and were wondering around the hotel at random hours. I'm pretty sure that the ONLY reason that hotel is still in business is because of its location. We would rather drive to downtown than stay there again.

I was passing through and knew this hotel from family. I had my 60+ lb dog with me so it was important to have a pet friendly hotel to stay the night at. The room I got was separate from the buildings connected by the sky walk, which was a little disappointing. My room instead was back in a small separate building, I am guessing all the pet rooms are back there (another patron below me also had a dog). The room was okay, clearly gets less attention than the main rooms. Everything was clean, no smells or anything like that. If you (the hotel) have delegated rooms for pets, change up the signage in the room about "100% no pets" etc -- you gave me a doggy treat bag, you're not pet free. How about a pet bowl for water in the room? Show me you're pet friendly, don't just take my money.

This hotel was part of the tour we took and it was functional. It was clean and moderately priced. The food was very ordinary.There was a buffet served but customers could order from the menu. It is a small town and the variety of restaurants is limited and everything was closed by the time were arrived there.

a little noisy, air conditioner does not working good. too noisy good location. swimming pool is good. the bed is comfortable. easy to park. Restuarant is bad. The soup is very salty the breakfast is not good.

This would easily get an excellent if they had anything close to a decent breakfast. The staff in the hotel were great, friendly and courteous; the room was comfortable and clean; they have the pool, a llounge/bar, and a restaurant. Did not use the restaurant except for breakfast which was one of the worst I've experienced at a BW. All other amenities were great.

I was planning to stay 6 nights but a change in circumstances made it so I could only stay one. The front desk was extremely helpful and didn't make me feel bad about having to change my reservation. The hotel is on two sides of the street with an overhead walkway in between--cool for kids. The bed was really good but I thought the pillows were awful. Bathroom and sink area were pretty small but everything worked fine. I did not try the pool but it looked like it was nice. It was kind of a maze getting to the room and the kids loved that.

We stopped for the night and got a nice room at this Best Western. Headed to the restaurant. The waitstaff was completely clueless. The restaurant was mostly empty, so they can't blame it on being too busy. The first waiter we had didn't know anything about what beers they have on tap in the bar so he sent a different waiter to help us. We ordered our drinks and had to wait a long time for them to take our food order. When the food did come it was mixed up (husband had ordered the asparagus, but it was on my plate), etc. Then, when we got the bill, it wasn't ours. Of course they blamed it on the computer.

This is a great place to stop in Sheridan. It is in the heart of the city and you can get anywhere on foot or in a short drive. The staff is excellent and will assist you with anything you need. It has great amenities and if you did not want to leave the hotel, you would not have to. The food is great and the drinks are cold.

The hotel met our basic needs: comfortable, clean and pool option for the kids. My daughters ages 8 & 10 liked the skywalk between buildings but older guests may not like how spread out the hotel is with regard to check-in/restaurant and some guest rooms, plus there is no elevator. Not a problem for us and there was only 2 floors. Also breakfast was supposed to be free but they could only offer a 50% discount and we had to pre-pay, which wasn't ideal.

WiFi needs a boost. Clean room, but kind of noisy. There was no remote for the tv. The maintenance man was very helpful. The night clerk was very chatty. The staff in the restaurant was very friendly and funny.

After 13 hours of driving we were shocked to walk into a room with another visitor's luggage! While this was quickly corrected, this did not lend to a good nights sleep. The new room was very nice though.

My room was on ground floor facing on to the main road outside - noisy. The ground floor rooms have a door to the front parking area and also a door into the corridor of the building, to feel safe I made sure both doors were securely locked at night. It was also located by the swimming pool - also noisy till around 10pm. To get to the bar and restaurant and front desk you have to go up a level and then walk across the road bridge to the other side - not good for those who find stairs difficult to negotiate. I ate in the restaurant and the food was good and hot and served quickly. There is a fair sized bar here and service was excellent here. Breakfast was OK but not a huge selection.

Hard to characterize. We usually stay in Best Westerns because of reasonable rates and free hot breakfasts. I assumed this one would have breakfast and didn't double check. They do offer 50% off at their restaurant which was across the street from where we were staying but not the same. You check in at office then drive across the street to where your room is. We were directed down an alley way to the back of the building where our room was supposed to be, however we couldn't find the number. After circling the building again we parked and went inside the rear door. There were three rooms down an inner corridor, including ours. Problem is there was no indication on the outside door that we could see that indicated the rooms were located there. After we found our room no further incidents other than being right next to pool and ice machine. So kinda noisy until 10:30 or so, and at 5:30 in AM every five minutes people filling ice buckets. Probably would stay somewhere different next time

Unhelpfull receptionist..teavelled over 6 hours..asked for a quiet room..we had to drive across the road to another part and lug our cases up stairs to a room they gave us wrong keys to...the room was right outside the pool ice machine and vending machine@!! Had to walk across the skywalk over the road back to reception..and explained about the noise so she gave us another key to a smaller room with an air conditioning unit outside and a noisy faulty exit door thing ...luckily saw the manager off duty in the car park but staff said they're wasn't any management on site..

very nice staff, the room was really nice 4 pillows each and enough towels for a change and they werent like paper!! just a really nice town and people... we will be back, walked the main street and found The Tasting Library, what a fun experience to sample wine and spirits... fun brew pub too Black Tooth brewery

I stayed at the best Western in Sheridan, Wyoming and I was very pleased. We had six coffee pods in our room and more than two towels for two people. The housekeeping staff was especially helpful to me when I forgot something in the room. They found it for me and mailed it to me. I was very pleased.

Great staff & very good meals in the restaurant. However, the restaurant got swamped by a bus tour and it took an hour for our meals to be prepared. Our 1st room wasn't cleaned. The staff quickly re-assigned us though.

Very friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Close to everything. Lots of parking. Good food. Nice bar area with lots of TV screens. Close to the interstate. Not a lot of traffic. Nice foot bridge over the main road.

may as well put up a tent on main st. room was dirty parking a nightmare staff useless location hard to get to and noise was bad not a place i would ever stay again have nothing cood to say about it if this was my first stay with Bestwestern it would be my last

We stop by at Sheridan on the way to Yellowstone National Park and we chose Best western Sheridan.And they really are so pleasant especially TERI and JESS,they know what hospitality means.The lobby is nice and welcoming.I hope to come back again someday.Kudos!

We were booked here for one night by our tour company. It was a pleasurable evening. We enjoyed a room with a balcony, a fantastic meal at the on site restaurant (I recommend the Filet Mignon) and we won the evening's trivia contest to boot! We enjoyed a nice evening with strangers who soon became friends.

Very comfortable hotel in quiet Sheridan, Wyoming. We got a great value on Expedia, and the hotel manager matched their price for the second room. Staff was friendly and courteous. We walked to town for breakfast which was quite easy because of the location of the hotel.

Our room was just ok, a bit old and tired, the bed was uncomfortable. The only plus here was that it was pretty well soundproofed and there was no noise from outside. But the restaurant....we were part of a coach tour, so they must have known how many were coming but they were totally unprepared. Not enough tables to sit at and we didn't get what we ordered because they ran out of food. Only two items for dessert and they ran out of both. It was actually like a Monty Python sketch with the poor waitresses apologising profusely...but of course, not their fault. The Management need to up their game.

We stayed at this Best Western because the wedding we were attending was being held there. It was a nice location, easy to walk to shopping and a few restaurants. The set up is kind of awkward - along with the parking. For the price, I would have thought breakfast would be included - like other BW hotels offer, but only a coupon was given for a discount. The wedding reception was very nice and the food for that was really good and the staff did a nice job for the amount of people that were there. Not sure when I would be in WY again, but I would maybe try another hotel just due to the set up of this one.

Overall a good experience except for seniors who have to climb stairs along with carrying their baggage.The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable. It was a little noisy having the pool right below us.

Rooms are incredibly noisy and have a funky smell to them. Front desk employees dont seem to want to help you. The shower did not get hot, luke warm at best. The Bar is excellent and was the best part of my stay.

This hotel has been upgraded, probably built in the 70s it is confusingly on 2 sides of the road. The sign is on the opposite side to the lobby. Some rooms are approached from the outside like a motel, others from an inside corridor. There is an internal pool. The beds are particularly comfortable with some sort of memory foam mattress topper. The breakfast was particularly good, limited choice if you are on inclusive, but cooked to order and generous portions.

Our room was across the hall from the ice machine, particularly noisy when other guests filled their ice chests before 6 a.m. Our only windows opened on to the hall, which smelled like the swimming pool. There was no elevator and the stairs are narrow and steep. We had a voucher for 50% off of breakfast in the cafe, but were unable to use it after 10 a.m. because the cafe was closed. This was the worst of this brand that we have encountered in many years.

Horrible front desk service for a reservation made In February. Not pet friendly no green space for animals. Rooms were sound proof like crazy. Hotel on a main thoroughfare if you have dogs not safe for them at all.

After nearly getting stuck in a blizzard in the Big Horn mountains, my husband and I decided to overnight in Sheridan. We drove through town until we saw the always familiar Best Western sign and decided to see if they had a vacancy. I am SO glad we stayed here! The lobby is lovely and inviting, the desk clerk was super friendly and gave us each a delicious homemade cookie! We had dinner in the bar (great staff were working here too!) and it was truly delightful, I HIGHLY recommend the spinach dip with those amazing warm baguettes. I wish I had some right now! I also had a cocktail, I think it was called Date Night, and it was PERFECT. Our room was clean and smelled just fine and honestly, this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in! We received a half-off coupon for breakfast and used it the next morning. Wonderful breakfast for a great price! We also enjoyed the friendly staff in the morning. If we ever pass through Sheridan again, we will be returning to this hotel.

We stayed here before moving to another hotel in town. This place looked very promising but it's very dated. Not only that the internet doesn't work, when I asked the desk clerk about it she just shrugged me off. There was a strange smell in the rooms. I wouldn't waste my time with this hotel, stay elsewhere

I always get so irked that I have this clean fastidious little doggy and we get stuck in a stinky, dirty room where they spray so much deodorizer that you can't breathe. And try putting some signs out that tell a person where the heck to check-in. Real disappointment.

We were passing by and needed a place to stay for one night. This was the cheapest place in Sheridan. Its well located, easy to find. Its a conference center so its huge. They have space on both side of the street. The service at the check in and check out was great. The room was okay.. which explains the 3. The breakfast set up was not great. I think when the breakfast set us is not great it shows the standards,... anyway, it was okay for one night and the front desk was awesome. I would certainly go there again for the rate.

Older motel. Catering to bus tours. Rooms are small need to be updated. They are clean. Beds are very comfortable. Staff helpful. Ok for a one a one night stay. Waking distance to the town. Breakfast is included. Saturday nite is prime rib nite. Dinner was very good.

We were not allowed to check into this facility because I have a government Certified Service Dog. This is clearly against Wyoming Law "Under Wyoming's disability rights law and the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), people with disabilities may bring their service animals to all public accommodations, including grocery stores, restaurants, theaters, schools, and more. Learn below which animals qualify as service animals, which public accommodations must allow them, and rules you may need to follow with your service animal. Not only were we denied accommodations but the desk attendant says "have a nice day". Not what a tired and now angry traveler wants to hear. Wyoming in general was pretty good but managers of facilities should educate employees to be more service oriented and acquainted with laws that affect their particular employment. Bad taste in my mouth....

This is a very large motel that spans both sides of the street with an overhead walkway connecting the two sides. We arrived very early and were told that there was no way we could check-in before 3pm. They had no maps of the local area. We requested a pet-friendly room, which was conveniently located towards the back of the property. There was ample parking. Best of all is the lovely bike path located just behind the hotel. Whether you have a dog or not, I would highly recommend a walk along the bike path that follows a peaceful stream. Our room was quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and we slept great.

On a tour we have stopped at this hotel. It seems quite clean and well appointed. As usual there are always some minor glitches. Seems often to be the TV. As usual, they send someone quickly and fix it easily. Otherwise all seems great.

This was a very nice hotel for the money, only thing I had a problem with was the cooling unit being noisy. The staff was super friendly, the breakfast was decent. It is a little dated on the outside but don't let this fool you, the rooms are very nice and look to be recently updated but maybe just very well taken care of. All in all a good experience.

Usual excellent quality but the first hotel-motel I have ever stayed in where there was no slot in any of the counters for Kleenex. What a huge disappointment because for allergy sufferers kleenex is essential.

Clean, nicely decorated rooms, with super comfy beds. Attached restaurant that was very convenient for breakfast. Close to local amenities, and attractions. Lots of onsite parking. Nice pool, with adjacent seating area.

Large room with doors opening to both an interior hallway as well as the exterior parking lot. Hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, and cereal. Walking distance to both good restaurants and cute, downtown stores. (Note: stores do not open until 10:00 or sometimes 11:00 am.) Reasonably priced and would stay here again.

We're professional musicians, and had a show at the Best Western Sheridan Center, with accommodations provided. The staff went out of their way to make our visit pleasant and successful...special tip of the hat to Tiffany! The rooms were rustic but comfortable...perfect for the setting...and pet friendly too. We are out west often, and plan to make a stop in Sheridan next time out just to spend a couple of down days...and you can guess where we plan to stay!

Stayed overnight for a hockey tournament. They had a special rate for hockey tournament goers which was very nice. The hotel was clean, room comfortable, and beds nice. I specifically noticed, there was 4 pillows on my bed ranging from very soft to pretty firm, so it was nice to have the options. Staff at the front desk was very nice, as well as in the lounge. Location is nice too, walking distance to pretty much all of downtown. If you're going for the famous Rodeo or something of that nature, don't hesitate to stay here. A couple notes- It is an older hotel, but does not appear run down by any means. The layout spans a couple city blocks, so your rooms could be on a separate block from the pool. Overall, I don't think I've stayed in a hotel this nice for $65.

Got trapped by closed roads on route back to Laramie. Snow storms all around. Got to Sheridan at 630 pm and decided to rest up for the night. What a great pace to find. Very comfortable room, great breakfast and for a very very good rate. Fantastic value for money. Service also great, Sam at the front desk was awesome.

I went to the Best Western and stayed a few days for work. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and had a good amount of towels. I really appreciate having a fridge to keep water in when I am traveling. We utilized their conference area and it was very clean well decorated and the staff was amazing. They provided good food for the meetings, and socials. The staff in the lounge was so friendly and it made staying there so much fun even though it was for work.

A hostess named Lorrane was the best person I ever met in keeping a confernce happy , Food quality is also great and they are not skimpy. Main part of hotel is beautiful, rooms could use an upgrade but were clean and everything worked.

This Best Western Motel is located very close to downtown Sheridan. I liked that it was not stuck out near or beside the highway. It is in close proximity of several popular restaurants. We were impressed by the Mahi-mahi at the "Ribs & Chops" restaurant just down Main street, within walking distance. The drinks here were also excellent The Best Western has a restaurant, where we ate breakfast(50% off) and a comfortable bar. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and spacious with two luggage stands! I would definitely book this place again.

Friendly staff and large container of chilled drinking water with orange slices in reception area, which was very welcome. Very large, spacious room and the bed and bedroom very comfortable. Guest laundry available. Only minus were the rough sheets.

Rooms were ok but you seemed to be trapped to use the horseless restaurant. No food nearby except a Dairy Queen and that was closed for remodeling. Must have a fridge and microwave to be used again by me.

Great hotel with restaurant, bar, wifi and more! Overall a nice place to stay in the heart of Sheridan. The staff was friendly and helpful but had some computer issues trying to find our reservation and Member Rewards number. They also billed us twice for the pet fee but reversed it upon my request.

If you have a pet, they put you in lower quality room, not attached to building. You have to walk in the dark to use hotel facilities! No free breakfast ( it was offered 6 months ago) . It was clean but the quality of the room compared to 6 months ago was a definite down grade!

Love the location and amenities, the hotel offers discounts for the restaurant and the pool and hot-tub are wonderful. Can't beet the price for the quality. It is clean and comfortable, nice beds and rooms. Restaurant has great food but is a little slow..

This property has 3 different buildings, one on the opposite side of the street. You have to check into one, and then drive across the street if you are wanting to be by the pool. Then, the parking is very tight and when we went to dinner we couldn't even find a spot. The staff was super friendly, but we were disappointed when we showed up and were told that our pool side room was not available when we checked in at their advertised time of 3:00pm. In addition, they couldn't tell us if it would even be available in the next couple hours or not. Overall, the staff and the comfortable room was the highlight. The layout, the cold pool, the residential size shallow hot tub, was a disappointment.

We booked an oversized king room with a jetted tub and indicated that we were bringing our pets to this supposedly 'pet-friendly' hotel. As always, I was careful to read policies, but when we stayed in this exact room with our dogs last year, no issues were raised. At check in, we were given our room key and drove around the block to our UNDERsized king room with no jetted tub. When I returned to the desk, I was told that the room we booked did not accommodate pets. Despite us staying there last year. I asked why this was not mentioned at check-in, and no explanation was given except 'you were already given a discounted rate'. When I asked again about getting the room we booked, that they confirmed and that we had driven three hours to stay in, I was asked if I wanted to speak with the manager. "Will that help?" was my response, and hers was a non-committal "Maybe." It didn't help. The manager's response to my request that we get the room we were confirmed booked into was "When you book with Expedia [we didn't] we don't see the reservation, so we had no way of knowing that you said you had dogs." I explained they most certainly did since the woman who checked me in said they were putting me in a pet-friendly room; I didn't volunteer that info. She then said, "well we only saw that today." I said that wasn't my problem: they claim to be pet-friendly, they made the room available on their site advertised as such, I booked it over two weeks in advance, and they were refusing to honor that reservation. She again passed it off as an issue with Expedia, with the distinct tone that 'that's the risk you run'. Finally, after about 10 minutes of this, she says "we can put you in a room of the same size". It took her that long to offer a solution, and still she was unapologetic as to the circumstance. I told her I would speak to my wife, who said "if they are so rude, they don't deserve our money." I told them that had they taken any ownership of the issue and tried to offer solutions rather than pass the buck, we might have stayed, but wouldn't consider it. The manager again was combative rather than apologetic so we walked away. To top it off, the desk person shouted a smug "have a nice day" to us, despite her hotel having potentially ruined our weekend. Hotels.com and Holiday Inn stepped in to save the day.

I arrived in a snow storm. Parking was good and service was great. Helpful staff. I was in a second building across the street. There is a sky walk, so getting to the restaurant was easy. Food was good and not that expensive. Pool looked clean. Nice place.

Clean rooms, with very reasonable rate for pet deposit. Internet worked very well. Fridge in the room was convenient. They did not have a free continental breakfast, but we did receive a 50% off meal coupon, and 2 free drink coupons for their bar. Walking distance to several breweries and downtown.

I ended up with a room that was tucked away in the back building - yes difficult to find, but very quiet. The outside of this building is OK but for the price the quality of the room was really outstanding! (I have paid twice the amount for a room in a larger city that wasn't nearly as good) Clean, fresh smelling, good size, not large but not too small either. Nice new bathroom, with the vanity (granite top) and sink conveniently located beside the door.The little fridge was great for keeping my travel food. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was also fresh and clean. Internet worked well. I loved the location. I arrived at about 5 pm, but being November it was almost dark. I went for a walk along the downtown street, which starts steps from the hotel. Lots of interesting shops and eating/drinking establishments that fit with Sheridan's historical cowboy town character. Most of the shops had hand made Christmas displays in the windows. (I think there was some kind of competition going on) Totally NOT what you would see in your local mall or downtown city street. A MUST SEE is the Mint Bar filled with taxidermy, photos, posters. Check out their own review on Trip advisor.

This is quite a dated motel style hotel with all the usual facilities offered in rooms. The set up is slightly strange with the reception being across the road from the rooms but it does have a bridge attaching the two together - although the heat is quite unbearable in there in Summer. There's not much to see in Sheridan but we only intended our stay to be a short stopover after a very long day of driving so we didn't see much of it. Unfortunately we were woken in the early hours to a domestic argument outside our room. There was a lot of what appeared to be alcohol fuelled shouting, swearing and screaming which after half an hour ended up in the room directly next door to us. This domestic continued for several hours and because the walls were so paper thin we could hear every spoken word and were nervous about calling reception as they would be able to hear us doing so. Our children were very scared by the aggressive nature of the row and we all felt quite vulnerable by the incident especially as reception was across the road and the building was built so flimsily. After virtually no sleep we left early in the morning. Breakfast was pretty basic, nothing special. On checking out we were asked if we had a good night's sleep so we explained that we didn't and the reason why. The girl on the desk couldn't have been more disinterested. Over all not up yo usual Best Western standards in my opinion. We would not stay there again.

We stayed just one night being on a coach tour, The room was very clean and spacious with all the usual amenities. Indoor swimming pool which does help relax you after a hectic day. There is a restaurant serving breakfast lunch and dinner. Breakfast was good.

This is a step up from a motel, and very quiet. There is separate bar area for residents and locals alike. The restaurant "Blackstone Grill" was fantastic both for dinner and breakfast. The staff were helpful, quick and friendly. Suggestions from local breweries was welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed!

Stayed in the very comfortable rooms here on a coach tour, having had a credit card refused in a couple of places. Two young women at Reception spent the best part of an hour and couldn't have been more helpful in getting us through on the phone to the UK to find out what was going wrong. PLUS a helpful waiter in the restaurant recommended a riverside walk to the City Park, which gave us a chance to discover how civilised Sheridan is (thanks in part to a Mr Whitney, whose philanthropy pays for students to go to Uni). The same waiter, Starr, with her colleague Michael, also made dining in the hotel restaurant a relaxed and satisfying experience.

We stayed here one night as part of a Globus National Park Tour. Our room was ok, but it was a little like a motel setting. It was easy to walk into town although there was not much going on when we were there. The restaurant that we used was across the street. I assumed it was affiliated with the Best Western. There is a Dairy Queen very close to this hotel and seemed to be a hit with the local population.

Overnight stop on the way to Canada. Clean pet friendly main floor room. Close to Mill Park and nice walking trail along the river. Supper at Blackstone Grill was alright with good service. Will stay here again

My husband and I stopped in Sheridan on a trip out west. Our room was on the ground floor with parking right outside the door. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The counter staff was courteous and helpful. This motel is within walking distance of downtown shops. Free breakfast buffet at the Blackstone Grill across the street.This restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.The food is great and seniors get a discount if you ask. Thank you, Starr, our awesome waitress! We would definitely stay here again!

This place is more a motel, certainly not a hotel. It is situated on two sides of the road at a cross-road (see photo). I took the photo at around 7am, so the road looks pretty quiet... it isn't during the day or late into the evening. My room was pretty standard but in an absolutely awful location (see photo). One door opened straight into the main road through the town, with all the traffic noise that brings, and there was traffic late into the night. The other opened onto a corridor which led to the swimming pool just a few yards away, with no doors in-between. I first entered the room from the street door, and the very first thing I noticed was the overpowering smell of chlorine/bleach. There were no windows to the outside so no possibility of airing the room to reduce the stench of chlorine and the only ‘fresh' air came through the gaps around the external door where drafts came through. The room was unbearably hot & stuffy all night – it was impossible to use the air conditioning unit in the room because it was so noisy. The room was also right by the entrance to a corridor which ran along the internal bedroom doors to the indoor pool: it had a window opening onto the corridor, but there was no point opening that because it would have let more chlorine into the bedroom. Even with the window firmly shut, the external door to the corridor was so close, and shut with such a loud bang, that it woke me up whenever late-night revelers returned to their rooms, and they sounded as if they were in the bedroom next to me – a 2” gap at the bottom of the door to the corridor certainly didn't help keep either the noise or the chlorine out of the room, and stuffing spare pillows into the gap didn't seem to help at all. The pool was open until 10pm and accompanied by loud voices, singing voices, adults shouting & children screaming. There was also a pervasive humming in the room... one source of which was the fridge which I turned off immediately. I could hear taps running in nearby rooms all night. The carpet was filthy don't think it had been vacuumed for days. Abysmal night's sleep. Awful location.

Traveling with our pup and liked the pet owner reviews of this hotel. Room was okay, had two doors, one from interior corridor and one to rear of motel. Unfortunately two barky dogs living right across alley from rear door. The only lawn at the motel is off limits to pets, but there is a great door park just a few blocks away. No microwave. Room was near indoor pool, which is NOT closed off from the interior corridor, so got to hear the whooping and yelling until late evening. Nice skybridge across hwy to office and restaurant, but no elevators to access it.
