great location, love the pool, nice to have an in-house restaurant,,rooms very clean and well equipped,

Despite the fact that the location is convenient to the beach, our stay could have been much improved. The carpet was damp to moist, as was everything in the room, the Internet was not secure and despite it being a BW plus there is no continental breakfast. We've stayed here before and it wasn't quite this bad but it didn't have a secure internet or a continental breakfast

I don't like to give bad reviews, but I have to be honest for anyone who takes where they stay serious. I gave it a two out of five rating because the staff was very good. Max who works. The front desk was very attentive and caring in the dilemma that we had with this property. Management even gave me a refund because the condition of this place was completely unacceptable. It looked very nice on the outside. updated, and the lobby was very nice, clean, bright, and gave a feeling that it was going to be a great stay. Little did we know the room and the general condition of the floors were atrocious. Our first room was on the second floor. For starters, as soon as we stepped off the elevator, we got hit in the face with the strong smell of smoke and old perfume as if someone sprayed to cover up the smoke smell literally walking down the hallway, the entire hall smelled of smoke spray and old food. When we got into the room, a very strong smell of cigarette smoke immediately smacked us in the face. It was so strong that we immediately went down to the lobby to complain. As we were walking past each door, headed to our room, you could hear different conversations, loudness, and you could smell marijuana smoke as we got closer to our room. Max helped us out and gave us an “upgraded” room. Naturally, we wanted to check out the other room before we committed to moving or leaving and at this point, we were told that this was the only way to rectify the situation as the front desk person could not give us a refund because he was not management. Upon going upstairs to check out the room before accepting it, we seen a very peculiar woman scantily clad come in our elevator. My kids, being polite and making small talk, spoke to her, and she told us that she would be having some visitors throughout the night and that it would be a long night. When we got to the fifth floor, where our new room was located, the smell of mildew hit us immediately and the room was no different very strong odor of mildew all the way up on the fifth floor. We decided that we'd rather be in a mildew smell than a cigarette smell so we settled into the room for the night, not opening or bringing our suitcases up and not changing our clothes. As we tried to sleep for the night, the unsettling, traffic of door, slamming similar types of women in and out of rooms and what appear to be street pharmacist kept us up all night. It was unfortunate because the hotel does have potential, but the carpet is probably the same one that they first installed since they built the building and the clientele that they allowed to habitat this place is very unsavory. I'm very surprised that this place has a high rating as it would definitely be considered a drug and prostitution hotel in most places.

The rooms were very nice and up to date. The room I had slept 4 people and is conveniently located on the boardwalk. You have access to all of food restaurants.

Wonderful location. So convenient for our son's wedding right next door at the beach and at the venue at Coastal 59. Clean comfortable and spacious rooms. The beds were wonderful which matters. The staff was so friendly...greeted us with a smile every time. The coffee bar was a really nice touch. I highly recommend this location for wedding guests...the festival guests were a bit noisy but overall, it was a great stay.

Room had mold-smell. Their were inzects or flyes in room and room could been sprayed and sprayed to get rid of all insects.

The hotel is right off the main entrance to the area. It is a little noisy but that didn't bother us. If you don't like road noise then this place isn't for you. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The room was huge with two king sized beds just like in the pictures. The pool area is clean and comfortable. The beach is easily accessible by foot. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great staff, good prices as well. I'm confined to a wheelchair, so I stayed in a handicap accessible room with a roll- in shower that had a mounted shower bench which worked out well. The handicapped parking spaces were too small for a van with a ramp

Our 2 king bed room on the fourth floor was immaculate. The beds were very comfortable, the room was large, simply and adequately furnished with a comfortable side chair, desk and desk chair, big screen TV, lots of drawer storage and very nice balcony overlooking the pickle ball courts. Our housekeeper, Alice, did a wonderful job making sure our room was spotless. The Sea Bay Cafe associated with the hotel was delightful and the restaurant manager, Miguel was outstanding.

A lot about this hotel was really good; however, the most important thing about staying in a hotel is to sleep at night. Although other reviews on this site state that you could barely hear the traffic noise, we found it just the opposite. I am hard of hearing and even when my hearing aids were in the charger at night, the traffic noise was awful. Two busy roads intersecting right at this hotel, and the noise, except for the period between about midnight and 6:30 am, was loud in our room. After reading many positive reviews hailing the quietness of this hotel, we asked for a quiet room when booking, upon checking in, and later after we heard the noise in our room and went to the desk to try to change - the clerk looked at her monitor briefly and said the hotel was sold out, and no rooms were available for exchange; then several other guests checked in after we had request the change. We found the desk clerk unhelpful. So, if you want a good night's sleep in your hotel, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Our room had 2 King Beds. Loved that! Clean hotel in convenient location close to beach with all basic amenities. Cafe onsite is very good and reasonably priced. Used the pool for quick dips. Very friendly and helpful staff. Near 90 bridge made it so easy to get in and out of town and avoid crowds. Free street parking near beach this far up town too.

Hubby and I booked Mon-Wed. Price was great! We're right near the beach and less than 10 min from boardwalk. Close to many stores and restaurants. Very clean property. Professional staff. Comfortable room. Unfortunately, no breakfast, but restaurant attached has a delicious menu!

Googled "cheap place to stay in OC that is nice" and this place popped up. Had good reviews so booked. Was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. The room had a great layout and bed was comfortable. Plenty of storage. The staff was down to earth friendly! Hotel definitely exceeded my expectations! The attached restaurant was homey with the best breakfast food! (and they serve breakfast until 2:00 so you can sleep in). Wasn't able to do lunch but the lunch menu had everything you could want.

Went there with my daughter's softball team. Paid for 5 nights in advance. Had to leave after the 4th night due to unforeseen circumstances and the hotel wouldn't refund the last night due to “corporate policy”. I won't stay anywhere that doesn't put customer needs and circumstance above what amounts to a very small financial loss.

The hotel staff were friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean and spacious (exactly as pictured on the website). The king-sized beds were comfortable. The balcony with city view was nice with a slight view of the bay and close to the outdoor pickle ball courts. The hotel is close to many restaurants and shops. The pool had plenty of lounge chairs and two tables with umbrellas. Bring your own beach towel because the pool towels were a bit small. The coffee bar had many choices, including cappuccino or mocha lattes. Overall, the hotel was a great value and we will stay there again when we vacation in Ocean City, MD.

We felt so Welcomed. Everytime we entered the lobby. There was always a warm greeting (no matter the hour). For me, I am a early riser. I love to do early morning walks on the beach. The location was also greet. Easy for us to get around Ocean city.

Great staff at this BW.. The rooms were always clean when we got back. Extra towels were no problem and always there. The pool was nice place to hang out with clean pool towels every 15/20 min being restocked..

Stayed one night, using reward points. Location is convenient. You can walk to the beach, though you would have to cross the highway. We chose to drive across and park. Staff was very friendly, hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Recommend for sure. Really liked this simply hotel/motel. Solid price point. Centrally located. SB bus stop right outside hotel and NB bus stop a block away. Staff were great. I decided to stay an extra night and they were so accommodating. Rooms were nice. Found them clean and fairly large for the type of place. Microwave and decent size fridge. Tennis/pickleball courts right there. Would stay there again for say 3 nights. Improvements - Wish the pool was expanded

DO NOT RESERVE A ROOM AT THIS HOTEL OR ANY BEST WESTERN HOTELS I HAD A SERIOUS PROBLAM AT MY HOME WHEN I WENT ON VACATION AND HAD TO CANCEL BEFORE I CHECKED IN THEY SAID THAT IT WAS NO PROBLEM AND THEN KEPT MY MONEY FOR TWO DAY STAY, CHEATS. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR RESERVATIONS.

The hotel was excellent and if I travel to that location I would stay there again. The room was clean and comfortable the only complaint was the doors slamming all hours of the night. I would recommend a breakfAst included in your stay.

We stayed this weekend during the St. Patrick's Day events. The hotel was quite dated but decently clean. Beds were comfortable and housekeeping did a nice job. Check in took an exceptionally long time and she certainly didn't have any urgency as the line of people grew behind us. Should have guessed because making this reservation over the phone was painfully long with continuous periods of sitting on hold for unknown reasons. Just wasn't a great experience so it's a place I'm less likely to return to.

Whenever we travel, we always look for Best Western first. Over the years we've never had a problem and our stays have always been extremely pleasant, especially our recent stay in Ocean City, MD. I always recommend to my family and friends.

A very clean and welcoming hotel. Staff was so nice! Room was extremely well kept and fresh. Very quiet stay with warm greetings every day. Will stay here again. It is very evident that the people here care about the guests and making them feel at home. We were very pleased with our stay.

Excellent staff and very helpful with explaining how the rewards points work. Very clean lobby and rooms. Comfy beds and pillows. Easy access to the restaurant. Walking distance to ocean, shops and restaurants. Will be back again to stary.

I love the private balcony in this hotel. That was a big plus for me. The hotel smelled very fresh and clean. I detected a faint weed smell on the elevator, but I could also smell someone sprayed something to mask it so it wasn't intolerable. I appreciate the efforts. Finally, I like the location of this hotel. It's within walking distance of a lot restaraunts. I'm not sure of the proximity to the beach, because I didn't go. The street view wasn't bad at all, but I wish I could have seen the water. Overall, this was a great value for my money. I didn't visit the restaraunt, so I can't speak on that. There is 24 hour coffee service in the lobby and there's a k-cup machine in the room. I didn't use the wifi or watch tv. Parking was great. I didn't care for the pillows and I did have to ask for a blanket from the front desk.

We stay at this hotel several times each year. We bring our twin granddaughters each summer for their beach vacation (they love the pool!) and return for our anniversary trip. It's convenient to all spots in Ocean City. The staff is very friendly & knowledgeable about the area.

Check in was fast. Rooms are nice and the location was good. Cant wait to visit OC again Best Western will surely be my choice for lodging. i love the balcony as well, no free breakfast; but they do have a restaurant down stairs.

We've visited other Best Western Plus hotels - this Hotel was ok but nearby guest was very inconsiderate of other guests - in & out of room into wee hours of the morning. Had someone bang on our door around 12:30 am.

This hotel was perfect for my family and I. The rooms and amenities were very clean and well kept. It is one block from the beach and centrally located in ocean city. We all felt safe at the location and to and from the beach. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. There's a grocery , Taco place, Jewish Deli and a Dennys all within a short walking distance.

Room was more spacious than imagined, plenty of space plus the pack and play. Pool was nice but I wished there was a little bit of shade in some of the lounge chairs. Breakfast not included but wasn't a bad price at the restaurant. Nice location if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk, which is an easy drive and parking was a breeze also.

Great overall stay. CLean, friendly, very comfortable! Bed had lots of pillows, balcony was clean and furnature was nice. It was a very welcomed surprize for a shore/vacation spot. Centrally located as well so easy to get everywhere!

Nice room, Rugs need to be pulled up. It has a really strong order to it. Didn't want my bags in until it was time to get to change clothes. Plus, they put us on the 1ST floor in a handicap room. The front desk said that was the only room available at the time, I asked my husband if they could switch us out to another room. They claimed it was the only room for the weekend, which was a lie because Saturday morning, people were still checking in. I will pass on any of the best Western Plus

Dissatisfied, ALS patient. Promised a handicap walkin shower, didn't get one, had to use my walker in the shower to hang on to. Flies in room, had the help spray twice but didn't help. The a/c unit submitted a wet mist and left everything damp

Hotel is clean, has a pool, and staff are friendly. Breakfast is NOT included, but there is a restaurant with several options located in the hotel. We did not expect much but the wait staff and food were great!

We had a great time staying here for the most part. We might've stayed longer but the rate we had to pay for the rooms because it was a holiday weekend was prohibitive. They could've given the wedding party a better price.

When we booked the room they stated that we needed a form that they would email us. On two different occasions they stated that they sent the form however, never received it. When our son was at check-in and it was sent again ,then we received it with no problem. We were on the phone with the manager to explain the situation and he was insistent the form was sent the two previous times. We did file a compliant with corporate as this situation could have been avoided and the manager could have accepted the documents stating my son's name on it and the address was the same. This all started because we paid for the first night and our son was paying the second night with his credit card. Our son resides with us so there was no need to think this was fraud.

I have stayed at other Ocean City, MD hotels, this one was one of my favorites. What I liked about it was the spacious rooms. We had plenty of room where we weren't on top of each other. The location was great, the pool wasn't that big but it served our purpose. We were able to walk to various restaurants from the hotel. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. They have a restaurant onsite. We went for breakfast one morning, they were busy and we sat their a while before our waitress realized we were there. Others were coming in after us and getting waited on first. When the food did arrive it was really good.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations! We had 39 rooms booked for our wedding. I don't have one single complaint. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were ready early and clean. Amazing experience!

The rooms were spacious and everything was very clean. The towels and washcloths were good quality and nice and white. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The location was great. We have stayed in downtown Ocean City, but this was much nicer. The grounds were clean and free of trash.

Hotel needs a face lift, poor customer service ,hotel staff did not clean room .had to call the front desk several times to get help.The location is great the room just need a face lift with paint and cosmetic work

Great Facility Clean Good Location Cafe on site outdoor pool close to Ocean & Bay Many restaurants in area. Great friendly Staff. Plenty of good golf courses nearby also which is our main event. Water sports easily accessed, Tennis courts next door

The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. The beach is only 2 blocks from the hotel and here were plenty of restaurants to eat at in walking distance. My granddaughter enjoyed the pool and the overall stay was great.

Comfortable and clean room, friendly staff. Plenty of on-site parking (at least during the weekdays). Bus stop close by in case you don't want to drive on the jungle they call Ocean Drive. Would recommend this hotel. Nothing fancy but nice.

Our stay was pleasant. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the room was clean. It was on-par with what I expect of a Best Western. My only complaint is that at this hotel, you do NOT get free breakfast - something that I'm used to with Best Westerns. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay.

the staff were awesome, check in was easy. The room was clean but had a weird smell to it and seemed to come for the air conditioning. The air conditioner wasn't as cold as we would have liked, but it served it's purpose. location was great, convenient to everything. We didn't ask to change rooms, we were only there for a few days. I would return to this hotel, as overall it was good.

Great hotel in Ocean City, MD. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Our balcony overlooked Coastal Highway. It was great sitting outside. The pool area was clean and the pool was refreshing. The front desk staff were very nice. The beach was a short walk away. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time. Was able to check in early, the front desk employees were excellent and on point with any questions whether it was about the room or best restaurant/food places to eat. Would recommend this Hotel to family, friends and any person looking to stay here.

This was a last minute get-away to celebrate my birthday. My husband and I were very pleased with the accommodations and the price was a definite plus too. The room (and hotel) was very clean, bed was comfortable and staff was very friendly. Absolutely no issues with check-in or parking. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Access to the boardwalk was just a short drive away. We will definitely stay again the next time we are in Ocean City.

Great customer service. Fast service, location is great and walking distance to many places. A bit of a long walk to the boardwalk, but not far. Always parking available, restaurant has awesome hours.

Stayed at the hotel as a part of a golf outing group. The hotel was clean. The restaurant was good for breakfast. The biggest issue was the fly infestation in the hotel. 6 of the 10 golfers had either 1 or 2 flies in their rooms the entire stay. The restaurant had several buzzing around us on the last day at breakfast.

Hotel was conveniently located and had free parking. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Seaside Cafe was located in the hotel and had a reasonably priced breakfasts. I liked that hotel had coffee and tea available all day long for free.

We choose this hotel as a more reasonably priced alternative to Rehobeth Del. We had a function in that area on the last Saturday in April,..but,...choose to go a bit out of our way for accommodations. We were visiting friends in Ocean City on Sunday so it worked out well.This hotel was not originally built as a Best Western,..but a different hotel re-modeled in 2019.Everything has been updated,..and the hotel may as well be brand new.It is within walking distance of multiple restaurants,..and you have the ocean,..or bay just a few blocks away in different directions.This was an excellent ,..and affordable hotel for us,..but,...within a few weeks this hotel will be enjoying prime season,...and MUCH higher rates. One note,...light sleepers may want to be near the back,...as this hotel is literally next to the busy highway,..and could get very noisy.

Quick check-in and check-out; clean facilities; nice spacious double bed room; cozy Sea Bay restaurant for breakfast. Not close to Boardwalk, that's a mile or so down the road, but was conveniently located when you get off bridge.

I was coming in town for the local parade and UT was canceled last minute because of weather. Because of safety, I should be reimbursed even though it was past the cancelation time frame. It was beyond my control and was for safety reasons.

This hotel is about 2 blocks or so from the beach. It is a short walk. It was a GREAT location for an event at Fager's Island. Rooms were clean, staff was quick and friendly. Restaurant was very quick and good - EXCEPT the hash browns, skip those. Alley Oops is in walking distance, and is a fun place if you like an arcade and duck pin bowling.

very clean and confortable place to stay. The front clerk Kelly was very warm and friendly. worked to get things done, made the stay enjoyable. The room was very clean. Bed was comforable. Very convient to where I need to go and for all ammenities.

First time in Ocean City for an off-season visit and we stayed here. Great hotel right on the main strip. Nice balcony, super spacious room with a microwave and fridge. Great, friendly staff, super clean. There was a pool outside but we didn't indulge even though it was unseasonably warm. There is also a cafe onsite, but since we were only staying for a night, we chose to indulge on the Boardwalk. small parking lot, so it might get full quickly during the busy season. Would absolutely stay here again!

The hotel was very clean and in a good location. The beach was a short walk across the highway. The staff was very welcome and friendly. The pool was nice. The room was very clean and well kept up when you walk in the room. I love how you could walk out the room and sit on the balcony and enjoy the weather.

Staff were friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom large. The toilet was at normal height - not too low like some hotels. Breakfast is not included and you order off a menu. No free newspaper. (Casualties of the pandemic?) The beach is 10 minute walk across the busy Ocean Drive highway, but there is traffic light to help you cross. The main town and boardwalk is 4 miles away. There is bus stop located right in front of the hotel and the bus costs $3 for an all day pass. A 7-Eleven is only about a block or so away on the same side of the street.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. My son loved the pool, and the cafe had excellent breakfast and lunch. Looking forward to returning next year for vacation.The beach was close bye.

Service and room were amazing. We will definitely book another stay soon . The hotel staff , restaurant staff were fantastic. The food and drinks were great. Our room was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The pool was great and open from 9am to 9pm

BW PLUS great location 1 block from ocean. Despite past year of Covid & some shortage of help, they have managed to again provide excellent service. Room clean & spacious w/balcony, mini frig, microwave. NIce outdoor pool & great cafe with good menu on premise. We stay here annually & keep coming back. We are avid golfers & there are many fine courses & dining indoors/outdoors near by plus many other attractions including a busy boardwalk. The staff here is outstanding they make you feel welcome & go out of their way to provide the best for you. We have been staying here for many years & they continue to exceed our expectations. A special shout out to ALEXIS who made ALL great golf arrangements, plus for us. Also a thank you to Miguel cafe mgr & staff & owner Malcolm for helping make this years visit another great one & we will b returning again next year.

it was a nice property, staff was accomodating and flexible. The location is mid town ocean city, walking distance the Fagers Island, it fit my needs perfectly....prices were reasonable and fair compared to the rest of the town..Ice machine always full

This was a very great hotel stay. the staff were very friendly and courteous. The room was very clean and the furniture looked new. The amenities were great and the restaurant had the best food around.

Great location with a great staff. It was close to all we wanted to do but quiet at night; good food and service the restaurant as well. We stayed during a girl's softball tournament. It was fun to see a bunch of young people and their families enjoy this great hotel.

The check in process was simple, there were always parking spots, everything was clean. We were close to good restaurants and so close to the beach even being on the bay side. The water pressure was awful, but staff was really nice.

The staff at this location was great to work with - they were very helpful and accommodating with our requests. We were a softball team staying for the week and even with a few issues with the laundry - they stepped up and helped us out. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

It was good for me it was only a one night stay. It was clean, it was quiet, nice little pool area. I will definitely stay again. The only thing that I didn't like was the wait time to check in it was a long line.

There also wasn't a table for the kid's to eat at which was quite inconvenient. I booked on Expedia and it ended up being a handicapable room which didn't suit our needs. The room wasn't as clean as expected.

This is the 2nd year we stayed here. The hotel is clean, affordable and the staff are very friendly. It's close to the beach. Lots of stores and restaurants are within walking distance. The Sea Bay Cafe downstairs is one of our favorite places also. It's a great addition to the hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights and my children liked it. I was disappointed to not be greeted as a rewards member and when checking in I paid cash and was not even offered a receipt. I had to go back downstairs and request one and my vouchers I was supposed to receive when checking in. The room was clean and spacious and the pool was nice. The next morning on leaving for the beach I saw the housekeeper and tipped him and asked him to straighten the room while we were at the beach. 6 hours later we came back and the room was the same. I went and asked the gentleman and he told me that all he does is bring towels and take the trash when you stay more than one night. He said I needed to make my own beds. Rather disappointing We ate at the cafe downstairs but Denny's is MUCH better! The staff seemed too busy to want to help. Except for Emma at the cafe, she was great! Our floor smelled like Marijuana for the first 2 days, not sure why. It was a decent stay and I might stay again..

Our 1st time visiting OC. We stayed 2 nights. Since it was Post Covid there wasn't room service but we didn't need anything. Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean and spacious. Balcony was huge. We had a lovely view of OC and the tennis courts. Pool looked nice but it was chilly so I can't say how it was. We got drive thru breakfast so we didn't use the breakfast cafe vouchers but I heard another couple say it was good. We will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I were very pleased with the accomodations and the price was a definite plus We would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway post COVID! The staff were knowledgeable of the surrounding area.

We decided to take a last minute trip and decided to start in Ocean City MD. It's easy to spend hundreds of dollars per night but we wanted to be on the road for an extended period of time and wanted to watch our budget. We hit the lottery with the Best Western Plus Ocean City in Maryland. We were greeted warmly by Amber who thanked us for being rewards Members, giving us cold bottles of water and throughly explaining Covid restrictions (mandatory marks are not required for fully vaccinated people) Amber took the time to explain the included hot breakfast cooked to order and served either inside or outside on the patio. Every hotel and resort needs an Amber!! The room was huge, well decorated and immaculate. Lots of free onsite parking, pool, gym and business center. What a wonderful experience, we look forward to returning. Thanks Amber for setting the tone for n enjoyable stay!

Had a great time. Clean, comfortable rooms. Safe friendly atmosphere. Centrally located in midtown Ocean City.Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Cafe on property served generous delicious meals at a very reasonable price.

We stayed here last month and were very disappointed with our stay. If you are just looking for a place to crash and are not worried about mask wearing then this place is fine. However, staff was not wearing masks on multiple occasions including employee cleaning the rooms. There were also ants in our room the last day. Management did apologize for the ants and gave us a small discount, but no apology for not following their own company mask policy (manager himself had mask below nose and pulled it up when I came to discuss our stay).

Close to fun bars. Easy walk to the beach. Clean room that was not too small. All rooms have a balcony. Cafe on site. Helpful lobby staff. Handicapped rooms on the first floor which make the stay so much easier.

This hotel was very nice! Clean, large rooms, comfy beds. But when you can't get a hot shower, well that's not acceptable. It wasn't lukewarm, it was ICE COLD. We paid roughly $150 per night. Even Motel 6 and Super 8 provide hot water. Won't be back.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus for a cheer competition. The on site team made the stay enjoyable and we're extremely accommodating. They made staying in a hotel very easy especially during covid times.

From the time I made the reservation till the time we checked out, our overall experience was extremely enjoyable. Tom & Amber we're absolutely terrific. The most friendly and professional people we've ever met in our travels. They were both just so nice it made us feel extremely comfortable. Can't wait to get back and stay again! The Best Western Seabay goes above and beyond for their guests. The staff is the most personable and helpful. I never stay anywhere else while in Ocean City, MD. I highly recommend this hotel. Wouldn't have any reason to stay anywhere else. It is in the heart of all activities

We stayed 2 nights first night we got there bathrooms were not very clean & heat was not working to well, i spoke with the front desk & they issued a full refund of both night & gave free breakfast both mornings! amber was who helped us & she was amazing!

The Best Western Plus Ocean City was a great hotel to stay at while in Ocean City. I wanted to reunite with a friend that was coming to Ocean City and I wanted to travel out here too. There was a car show going on which I chose not to participate but it was fun seeing antique cars driving down Coastal Hwy. Walking to Ron Jon Surf shop and other shops was convenient. I did some biking at the bus/bike lane too. I stayed here October 8-9 to participate in Best Westerns $25 voucher staying each night/stay for up to four times. The front desk staff were professional. The staff recognized and thanked me as a Best Western Diamond Select member. I was able to receive two waters and a card for free breakfast which I was able to get a breakfast entree, one coffee/tea/soda, and one juice for Sea Bay Cafe. My friend came with me too and liked staying at this place too. I highly recommend being a Best Western Rewards member and staying at this property. I will definitely come back to stay at this property.

We always stayed at this hotel before it was renovated. I am glad Best Western took on this property to clean it up and replace some broken equipment. The staff was very nice, and helpful. Warning, Ocean City put up a fence along coastal highway. Now its a few blocks walk to cross to get to the beach. Slows it down a bit in the heat.

We wanted a quick getaway for the July 4th weekend. The four of us (my husband and I plus two teenage girls) stayed in a double king room...spacious and clean. Tom at the front desk was fabulous...professional and courteous! The Sea Bay Cafe' on the ground floor had great food with fast and friendly service. Our balcony had a city view with ocean and bay views...just beautiful! The bus stop was right outside of the hotel...$3 to ride all day! We wanted to enjoy a few cold alcoholic drinks at dinner so we utilized the bus. We downloaded the free TransLoc Rider app which estimates the bus arrival time...love technology and it was nice to know if we had 1 minute until the bus arrives or 4 minutes! The pool was nice but we didn't swim in the pool because when we are at the beach...it's all about the beach! We would stay here again and highly recommend!

Great hotel experience. Friendly front desk receptionist. Our family will be returning again soon! Hotel was located right at the end of the 90 bridge. Easy to find. Close to the beach and local gas stations/convenience stores and restaurants!

We had a double king room which I think is rare in hotels. The room was spacious. Bathroom was a little tight. Hotel staff was very nice. Our room was ready 4 hours before official check in. They let us park there while we went to the beach. I left my cell number with front desk and they called us when we were at the beach to let us know our room was ready. Restaurant attached to the hotel was convenient- happy hour every day from 4-8- half price drinks but the food was just ok. No maid service due to Covid so we had to go to front desk for extra towels/toiletries. Had to leave trash in hall. Noisy neighbors, smoking pot. Pool was nice and I loved sitting on the balcony. You had a slight view of the inlet and a slight view of the ocean. Overall, a not too expensive place to lay our heads on very comfy beds!!!

The room was nice and clean. The service was great! The room had a balcony overlooking the pool. The boardwalk was not too far away and the beach is a block over. The restaurant, Sea Bay Café, was cheap and had great food.

Outstanding service. Wonderful accommodations, 2 King Size beds in the room that were very comfortable. Aubrey, was very delightful, a sweetheart who took care of my accommodations. She exceeded my expectations and delivered 1st class customer service. The price of the room and service was outstanding. Best of the Best!!

We were not quite sure what to expect when we drive down the ocean City strip. We were pleasantly surprised at the warmth and friendliness of the staff. In addition the facilities were too notch. Clean, fully functioning and recently renovated. Everything about this hotel is super. Closeby restaurants, even in off-season, make this the place to stay when in the area.

The hotel was great. Very nice! The room was big and the entire hotel was nice. We had breakfast at the Sea Bay Restaurant each morning, and the food was good and service was good. The people working the front desk always said something nice when we walked by, which made us feel right at home!

From check in to check out my stay was amazing. I was greeted with a welcoming smile, tone and professionalism. Every request was done with urgency. The hotel smelled clean at all times as if it was being done 24/7. Beds were comfortable and rooms spacious. Price was reasonable. Cant wait to return. Hotel was very clean ,great location and and the staff was very friendly and went out of their way for you -we needed a cab and the hotel desk clerk got us a cab within five minutes. we stayed here for New Years.

My work holiday party was actually at the Casino at Ocean Downs, but the Best Western Plus was actually the perfect hotel for our stay. It was right off the 90 bridge so it was a pretty affordable uber as well. The staff was extremely kind and helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left!

We usually stay at Best Western as they are usually well run, very clean, most have been updated, excellent desk help and a decent breakfast so you don't have to waste time and money running around. This property was no exception. Only problem was room location at end of building on Ocean Hwy as it was a bit loud but in the end we had a great night sleep. Great mattress. And thanks to the desk staff for easy check in, check out and great dinner recomendation.

This Best Western Plus is one of TWO BWs in Ocean city. After the initial confusion of which hotel I was at, the stay was nearly perfect. The staff was super friendly, the entryway, lobby, elevator, and guest rooms were VERY clean (yay). The location is right on the main road in Ocean City and just a few minutes from anywhere on the island. Two things you should know about this location. 1. The breakfast was at the cafe in the building, and it was a coupon for a free entree and beverage. being off season, they were out of most beverages. 2. Fox News plays non-stop in the lobby. For full disclosure- MSNBC was on in the cafe.

Everything was great. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Excited to plan a trip in the summer. Good location with plenty to do within walking distance.

This is a nice place to stay in Ocean City. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the facility was up to date. The on-site restaurant is decent. The beach is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Was a bit concearned booking the hotel. I had 5 other couples with me. Turned out to be an outstanding property. Everything new, big rooms nice bathrooms. We will be back next year. I had some pretty fussy people with me, and they ALL loved it.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly front desk personnel who allowed us an early check in (10:30 am!). Hotel is very clean and updated with a fresh beach theme. Our room was much larger than expected and the balcony was very nice to relax on. Will definitely be back again!

We were very happy with stay. The room was nice with a balcony. Check in was easy and quick. On site parking. The pics are the view from our 4th floor room. We would stay here again if we make it back to Ocean City. Ron Jon surf shop is within walking distance.

Hotel is clean and is very close to the beach. My family and I walked to the beach with ease. Its also a great location that's accessible to everything! The breakfast at the restaurant was way too expensive for the quality. The food was "okay"- nothing to phone home about. Overall, it was a very good experience. I would recommend this hotel !!

Not an unpleasant stay, but definitely nothing special, especially for the exorbitant amount of money we payed to stay for four nights over a holiday weekend. No breakfast, few amenities. Location is good, and the staff was always friendly and helpful, but was expecting a little bit more given the cost.

Excellent location. Courteous staff. Comfortable clean place to stay. Beds comfortable. Coffee and tea available. Price very reasonable. Have stayed here many many times and will continue to do so in the future summer vacations.

My last two reviews of Best Western Hotels were unfavorable, so this location would have to work hard to gain back lost ground. Overall, our stay here was a good one. I won't blame this location for anything that was out of its control but I will make suggestions. At the time of our stay there (June 2019), this BW location had been the former Sea Bay Hotel and still did not have any of the Best Western markings outside. So, if you were traveling without any form of GPS, you'd have to know to turn right coming off of 90 onto Coastal Blvd and make the first right after that. There is no continental breakfast set up there but there is a café attached. We had breakfast elsewhere so I can't tell if breakfast there was included or extra. This Café closes around 8 pm and since our room was right over it, we didn't have to worry about food odor or noise drifting up. For a second floor location facing the boulevard, very little noise came in when the deck doors were shut. The worst feature of this Hotel was its WI-FI. We lost our connection constantly and recent mail was not populating. And we were not the only ones there who had this problem. When the weather is humid, as well as hot, down there– there is a problem with flies, area wide,and not just at the hotel. It would be nice if each room came equipped with a fly swatter. The only one for the building seemed to be at the front desk. I did appreciate the offer of having an exterminator come up but if one of the guests has a respiratory condition, this is not the best option. This property has two structures on it, both former Sea Bay Hotels. The other one was referred to as the Western Building. We faced North and did not have any sort of water view. I don't know if people on the opposing sides had either. Needless to add, the people facing west in the Western Building did. So, if you do want a water view, you might want to call first before booking. Overall, an enjoyable stay in a clean and comfortable room with front desk personnel who did make us feel welcome. This is one BW I would come back to.

The staff is very friendly, accomidating and helpful. The hotel is very well kept and the rooms are nice and clean. Easy access to the beach, free parking right next to it and the Sea Breeze cafe had wonderful food. Would highly recommend staying here.

I usually don't have any complaints whenever I stay at a hotel but I have to mention what happened during our trip. When we first walked in the room it had an odor and the linens felt damp. The bathroom door kept getting stuck and it was hard to open and close. The next day I was surprised that my clothes got damped so I know it has to be the room.

Stayed here for three nights...all enjoyable. Staff is helpful and super friendly. Kids really enjoyed the clean pool. Sea Bay Cafe on site is great, too...delicious food and drinks served by an awesome staff. Will stay here again.

Newly renovated rooms, clean. One block away from beach. Great location. Beach area near hotel is quiet and clean. Hotel is 10 minutes away from the boardwalk. Pool is clean, parking lot is clean. Restaurant on premises. Hotel is walking distance to many places.

We were there during weekdays in Aug. The place was clean and comfortable. It has a good location one block from the beach and even though you are next to the main avenue you barely can hear any noise. Pool was OK and never too crowded. Really liked our stay there

Nice location - easy walk to the beach. Pool and patio area are very well maintained. The grounds are well kept. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and so accommodating. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Cafe is excellent.

The staff is very friendly, they let me check in early since my room was ready. Someone else came in and their room was not ready but they offered to let them park there and use the pool until it was ready. The rooms, pool, lobby were all very clean. I enjoyed my stay very much.
