Manchester South Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by BW

Good hotel, close to most amenities and near to Sainsbury as well. Room quiet and clean. Missed the breakfast on the first morning but took advantage on the second morning! :) Good selections and very helpful staff. Lovely place to have breakfast! The only thing you have to know before you entrance in the hotel, is that you have to climb very high stairs in order to get to the reception which is an disadvantage for elderly people if they care a heavy suitcase! Thanks GOD a nice fella helped me to cary my own suitcase. Loved my stay in the hotel!

Our stay was nice, however it started off a little rocky. We booked two upgraded rooms and only one room was upgraded the other was standard. We asked to have it fixed and was told that they had no rooms left, but could switch us the next day. The hotel is under renovation, and a mouse got into one of our rooms, there was a bit of a panic, the front desk person called pest control and notified management of the situation, management was able to relocate both rooms to the other side of the building to upgraded rooms above what we paid for and both problems solved. The staff were all extremely nice, especially Hector the bartender, he is a lovely chap with great personality. Thank you, for what could have been a bad stay turned out great.

We stayed here on Tuesday night as my husband had an appointment at a local hospital. The receptionist was really friendly and check in was so easy. You can park your car in a secure car park to the rear of the hotel for just £5.00. The room was lovely and clean and beds very comfy. Lots of eating places round and about. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

I've stayed here before when in Manchester for a conference. A few years later I returned to stay close to both my sons who now live and work/study here. Whilst perhaps in need of some room modernisation, this hotel was excellent. Mid week prices very good value, room and bathroom spotless and bed comfortable. The advantage of ample secure parking at only £5 for 24hrs meant I could use the very close by, cheap and frequent bus service to get about which made the trip less stressful. Staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. I didn't eat here, but would next time. I'll stay here again.

Very nice hotel. On a busy main road, my room faced road but was very quiet and couldn't hear traffic. Not far from curry mile and handy for city centre. Room was clean and comfortable only downside was neither desk lamp or bathroom light worked. Breakfast options plentiful and tasty, and they even had a teapot that didn't dribble! Would definitely stay again.
