Best Western Long Beach Inn

I'm a big fan of Best Western. Not for their "perks".......I'm a bit of a hotel snob having traveled the world most of my life and have stayed in most of the finest hotels in the world in my careers in aviation and international travel. OK, that's my bona fides. So 2 days ago I went to Long Beach, WA. I booked at the Best Western. What a DELIGHTFUL hotel. It's boutique sized, one block off the main drag......beautiful Scandinavian type small hotel. For a more modern BW, it has very nice decor, with turquoise, green and tan colours which are perfect for the area. But, aside from those niceties, it's the staff that made this a standout even for BW. For instance; not just do they serve a hot breakfast, but the great lady who runs the show greets every customer as they come in and tells them, individually, what the daily offerings are. Unique even for a BW. Outstanding! This hotel is in a quiet location, like I said, one block off the "main drag"...but back side of the hotel is wooded areas (great for pets) and beyond that, the magnificent NW coast. I will definitely make this a go-to spot.

Great location, right by the beach. The balcony is perfect for watching the sunrise/sunset. Staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The rooms are spacious and modern. I enjoyed the bathtub and shower combo. Lots of things to do within walking distance. Bonus points for the breakfast and hot chocolate bar. Uncrowded hot tub and pool.

Very quiet, even though we were on the ground floor two doors down the hall from the reception area. Off the main street with activities and restaurants nearby. Better than average breakfast. Easy parking. Room was quite functional, though the dark green and brown color scheme with LED lighting was rather unappealing. Glad we stayed here, though.

We had to change plans due to a family emergency. The Desk Clerk was so understanding and showed such professionalism. We were able to get a refund and be on our way. Many Thanks! Your kindness was not lost on us! The room was also very comfortable and pretty.

This hotel was clean the staff were friendly the price was great. Centrally located easy to walk to restaurants and shops. I would stay here again. Oh and you should eat breakfast here the lady that runs it is gracious and awesome!

Best Western is best at giving their customers a very poor experience! We booked a stay at the Long Beach location. We booked a room with a balcony. We were given a room with no balcony. When we went to point this out to the gront desk, the guy said in response to the room with no balcony, "Oh, it doesn't?". It was staggering he, himself, didn't know his own rooms. But the shocking behavior was only the beginning. When we asked to be moved to a room with a balcony, he tried to move us into a room that was next to heavy pot smokers. We know they were, for when we pulled into the garage, a car pulled next to us and we could already smell the msrijuana billowing out! The elevator reaked of pot and when we asked if we were going to be put next to the pot smokers, he said, "Yes. I am sure they won't smoke." This obviously meant they were regulars and he knew about it. He then switched us to another room, and promised a discount. A couple of days later, the room reaked of pot, so bad, my wife had to go to the store to get air freshener! When I called Best Western Customer service, I talked to a lady that claimed the front offiice guy went in our room, smelled nothing, and said it was probably from the street wafting up to the 3rd floor. Not inly is this ridiculous, but it was a LIE. I was literally standing next to him while I was on the phone with her; but she stood by what she said. As our stay progressed, the ONLY ice machine ran out of ice; and I never saw either of the 2 front desk guys again. I have yet to get any dusclunt either. I have stayed at a Best Western previous to this trip; and had another horrible experience. Best Western treasts their guests as something to fill rooms and disgard. Save yourself the grief. GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

This hotel has everything you need. The rooms have a microwave and refrigerator. The beds are very comfortable. The room is very clean. The staff is amazing. The front desk attendant was so nice. They have a nice breakfast in the morning full of options. The location is close to the beach and right downtown, I can't say enough. They had an entire wrestling team here and the place was quiet. They are dog friendly! I stayed three nights.

Great place to stay in Long Beach. Short walk to the beach. Easy town access as it sits just off the “Main” drag. Restaurant's, shopping, etc right near the hotel. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast. If you go during the busy season, ask for a room on the back, away from the strip more quite.

The staff at this location is the best. I had an awesome stay. Very hearty breakfast with cheerful staff make you feel like family. Love them all. I will surely stay here again anytime, if I visit Long Beach. I don't generally post reviews because most hotels disappoint me. But here the staff made me feel so great. So they deserve this pat. This is a great location if you need a place to stay in Long beach Washington. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the rooms are nice and clean. We were also very impressed with the breakfast.

Cute hotel in the center of town, great location! We enjoyed an awesome and fresh breakfast, and our dogs like the pet area behind the hotel. Easy access to downtown and the beach, with a 24 hour market close by.

Super friendly staff! Very dog friendly! Very clean rooms! Great breakfast! Perfect location! I had a quiet and very restful sleep. Thank you! I spent the next night in Aberdeen Best Western, and it was aweful. Paid 150$ more for room and won't stay there again. Long Beach thank you!

This place was perfectly located near restaurants and stores. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Clean. Safe parking. King suite rooms were large with sofa, lounge chair and desk chair. A great place to stay.

This is a typical chain hotel, with all the amenities. Breakfast was nothing special, just ok. Friendly staff, the lady that was responsible for breakfast was entertaining. Quiet clean room on the third floor. Close to the shops and restaurants.

Clean rooms, comfy beds, and amenities. Hot and/or cold breakfast with enough variety to accomodate food intolerances. Located downtown, walking distance to shops and beach. Easy parking. My go to everytime I'm in town.

The sofa is un-usable and the one arm chair is old. No dining room table. We had to take meals on the desk or the floor. There is only one desk chair. We were never comfortable the entire week we were there.

I would definitely return and recommend this lodging. They take clean seriously. I have issues with pet allergies and all matters were taken seriously and addressed in a routine fashion. Glad to know they care for their guests. All their employees were service oriented and friendly. Breakfast was extensive and well kept. Clean rooms, comfortable linens. And best of all walkable to everything. Gladly recommend and will return without hesitation.

The proximity of the hotel to everything in town was perfect and the staff was incredibly helpful! The variety for breakfast was great! The beach is very near (walkable if you want), the staff had great recommendations for places to grab dinner or a sweet treat!

I've ever been welcomed more warmly! From the reception staff, to the breakfast hosts and even to a friendly maintenance man, all were accommodating and helpful. Their tip to visit North Head Lighthouse was a winner and the advice to only go into the ocean at Waikiki Beach was right on. The room was clean and had all we needed. We will be returning soon.

TERRIFIC STAFF, great breakfast, clean, modern and comfortable rooms, quiet but so close to the beach that you can walk! You can walk EVERYWHERE from this location, and there is ample parking. Both fridge and microwave were very handy to have.

Excellent motel, right in the middle of Long Beach. Staff are great, super reactive to whatever your needs are. The Breakfast lady (Lorraine) is extra special, goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. You'll enjoy your stay there!!

Lorrayne in the dining area keeps us coming back, a true pearl at one of our favorite places to visit on the coast. She is the sweetest lady who cooks up the meanest breakfast. The rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly. A great place to stay in Long Beach.

The hotel was convient to the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. Walked to the beach and then explored Cape Disappointment Sate Park. Very quiet and close to downtown restaurants, bars and shopping.

The best hotel stay in years!! To a person the staff was more than eager to help with questions or respond to any request. The entire hotel is super clean and the breakfast was generous and delicious!! We are eager to get back the next time we're in Long Beach!!

We stayed two nights. The first night was a disaster! Some guys came into the room next to us around 11pm and were very loud. We finally had to call the front desk twice and they were eventually evicted around 12:30am. About 30 minutes later, someone was knocking on their door and asking for someone. It seems everyone who worked at the motel knew about the incident but not a single person apologized to us. Even when we checked out, we mentioned the problem and the person at the front desk said she heard about it, but said nothing further. I guess they value money over customer service.

All of our expectations were met or exceeded! The location in Long Beach is perfect and easy to access. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything about this Best Western makes you feel comfortable. You will enjoy your stay.

Front desk hostess was very accommodating to our needs and was though by also offering for us to use our BW rewards. Breakfast was great and the hostess was accommodating, polite, and friendly. We did sign up for the option to have room service and inquired twice at the desk to assure we were signed up for services that we did not receive. Each inquiry was met with agreement that we were signed up for the services and they would be preformed. However on our 3 night stay we had to visit the desk every time to get the needs for our bedroom.

Nice clean hotel. Excellent location. Friendly and efficient check in. The staff were all friendly. We will stay here again when we return to Long Beach. We did not sample breakfast, but it looked very good.

Great location. I felt safe. Well lit parking lot. Ample parking. Staff was helpful especially Misty and Dianne. Ryan as well. I didn't realize the entire hotel was pet friendly which really says something about the cleanliness. Bed was comfy. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Our expectations have always been met and we are always treated to happy, professional and accommodating staff. This level of service is also reflected in the guests we meet in the properties. Lots of happy, interesting guests…The chocolate chip cookie's are pretty good to!

I chose BW because they accept pets. I was overall disappointed. The front lady was bragging about their FULL standard room. The air came out of my whole family when how poorly the food taste. Scrambled eggs and hams were super salty. The texture was cardboards.

This is hidden gem of a hotel. For the price, they have comfortable quiet rooms, a nice breakfast, and a clean heated pool. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was hot. I got woken up at midnight by a siren, but that was not the hotels fault. They are also two blocks from a Vons grocery store, which was great. Overall a very comfortable stay.

We were pleasantly surprised at how welcoming and friendly the staff was. The breakfast was great, but not very many gluten free options. The hotel itself was nice and clean, but could use some updating in the rooms. Our room only had one queen bed. It looked like they had taken out a bed and left half the room empty. It had no closet nor a table to eat at.

The staff her are just great, some of the nicest hotel staff I have ever interacted with. The room was clean and the location was perfect in terms of being close to food places and other things to do.

We especially appreciated the housekeeper, Lina, who greeted us cheerfully in the morning as we were leaving our room. She was a very positive example of the company's effort to create a pleasant stay. Also the cook who prepared the breakfast treated us warmly and took a moment to chat with us.

From Misty at the Front Desk, to Wyatt the part time cook who cooks the excellent eggs as well as does maintenance, to Lorraine n Diane the cook n housekeeper the service was extraordinary! Everyone was so helpful n exceptionally nice. Great staff who are all willing to go above n beyond. Fabulous to encounter people who do their jobs with joy!

I traveled to the beach with my 90 Year old mother and this hotel was the perfect spot! Kind staff, clean and comfortable room and a delicious breakfast! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Wonderful memories! Plus the warm cookies in the afternoon were such a nice touch!

The bed needed to be replaced 30 years ago. Dated room. One chair? Breakfast-runny eggs, potatoes loaded with salt, bananas should be standard fare. Lousy breakfast. The lady running the show was nice. If this is the "best" that Best Western has the standards have dropped a lot. For the price paid the hotel should be embarrassed.

Great experience from check in to check out. We had a late and last minute check in and Shawna the front desk receptionist provided us with an accommodating experience by coordinating all our amenities and responding to our needs with ease. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable. All the staff members were very familiar with the area and their recommendations spot on. Location is central and we were able to stay parked in there spacious parking lot and walk or bike to everything we wanted to explore and for all our shopping needs. Breakfast was great and the lady taking care of it added a personal touch that reminded me of being at home.

The place is lovely. It's in a great location within walking distance of restaurants, gift shops, and the beach. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star review is because it did not have a hot tub and swimming pool. Otherwise, it was great. The inn is well maintained. We had an issue with the toilet seat and one of their employees was up to the room fixing it immediately. The ice machine went down, and that was fixed promptly too. The room was comfortable. We had a room facing the parking lot and highway, but that wasn't an issue for us at all. The parking lot separates the inn from the highway, so I think there's less noise for that reason. The hot breakfast was perfect. We would definitely stay at the Best Western Long Beach again when in the area.

Paid over 250 for one night in June for one of the worst stays I've ever had in a hotel or motel in the past few years and I travel several months of the year across the country. The front desk staff were fine. In no way does this review reflect poorly on the workers here as they must have a lot to deal with the complete lack of management at this property. Check in was fine - the rooms are worn but you'd expect that heavy use by beach goers and clam diggers impact the rooms this way and it's fine. I'm not that picky. After check in when I flushed the toilet, dark brown water filled the tank and the bowl. It took almost 20 minutes of flushing to get the water back to some sort of normal - disgusting. I was told there were no more rooms so I figure it's only one night - if this is finally fixed - I can live with it. After returning from dinner, I was informed by the front desk to "not drink the water or take a shower" because the purity couldn't be trusted and he loaded me up with free bottled water. I appreciate the clerk's honesty but wonder about the people he wasn't able to catch in the lobby to let them know as there seemed to be no attempt to notify all hotel guests. So no shower, no available tap water. I went to a local restaurant bathroom to brush my teeth and use the facilities - I might as well just camped on the beach. When I contacted the manager by email on my return to ask for a refund - no response. I called her a day later and she says "I haven't looked at my email" and "There would be no refund because it affected the whole hotel" What kind of BS is that for a Best Western? So you take 250 bucks for a room I can only sleep in - i'm forced to use others businesses to do basics like brush my teeth and I can't take a shower? And No Refund because apparently the entire hotel sucks? So the manager said she'd get back to me - five days later - nothing. Im following up with corporate and will review on all sites to warn others STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. The location is great - the desk staff tries but with terrible management and a property apparently in it's death throes - it's not worth it. How Best Western can claim this hotel is beyond me.

Excellent location and easy access to restaurants, gift shops, beach and amenities. The room was very clean and staff were very helpful and polite. The room, a double queen bed, was a bit cramped for the price, but the location and cleanliness made up for it.

We generally enjoy staying at a Best Western hotel when we travel and this one was no exception. All the staff was super friendly and Misty was exceptionally efficient and professional. Our room was very clean. In fact, the entire hotel was spotless. The bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Everything was fresh. The location of the hotel was great too, within walking distance to shops and the Discovery Trail. Highly recommended.

Beach stay. Close no view. Very clean. Nice staff. Did not call when they found we left pillow. Toss in lost and “nice pillow I was gonna take it home if you didn't return” it was hypo allergenic $400 item! No call?

Had a great time. Staff was extremely busy but was kind and professional. Always saying hello and offering assistance. We really enjoyed our stay. A military discount would have been a nice option. But overall, great experience.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was organized and very courteous. It is the cleanest Best Western I have stayed at, from the lobby, breakfast area, and my personal room. I never really saw the cleaning staff, yet it was always clean. It was also quiet, and in a great location! Walking distance to everything in Long Beach, and so close to the beach boardwalk and discovery trail. I will stay here again when I am in Long Beach. There is no ocean view, however the back side looks out on trees. Very nice location.

Great stay this long weekend. Karen in the breakfast area was continually cleaning and restocking while being so friendly. Was so refreshing to see her first thing in the morning, started out day out on a terrific start. Amber at the front desk was also friendly and helpful to our questions and requests. Recommend this Best Western Inn. Rooms and staff made it a positive stay.

Rene was a Godsend! He went above and beyond to make sure we had a place for the night! We more than appreciate this business being open 24 hours. They are the only ones in that town that are!! Can't thank you enough Rene! He defiantly deserves a raise❣️

We normally stay in a B&B in Long Beach but this trip was a quick overnight stay so we opted for a night at the Best Western, a chain hotel that we trust to be a reliable, clean and comfortable hotel. The BW Long Beach Inn did not disappoint in any way. Our check-in was very friendly and efficient. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was exactly what you expect of a chain offering lots of carbs, paper plates, and plastic ware. We were happy that the hotel has a coin operated laundry which was very clean and helpful. The best part of our experience was the location - near all the shops, great parking, and an easy walk to the phenomenal Long Beach boardwalk and beach.

Very nice facility easy to find.Very good location with ample parking area. They are dog freindly lots of dog while we were there.Close to beach and main part of town with lots of things to do.Very saitisfied with our stay.

The Good Points: Friendly, courteous staff, clean lobby and room, central location in town with parking, short walk to the beach. The Bad Points: Mattress in Room 108 was completely broken down, springs squeaked with every move. Pillows like bricks. Person in room above us seemed to be doing aerobics at 10 pm.

Pros: Location, front desk staff was friendly, windows in the room can be opened, water pressure in the shower Cons: Decor is dated, inedible and unappealing breakfast - I ended up going to a restaurant to eat, uncomfortable bed, small room, pricy for what is offered.

Walked into room 209 and immediately were affronted by a dank, moldy odor. Carpet was full of stains. See photos. Layer of dust on alarm clock (which wasn't even set to correct time and was blinking) Tried to turn on TV and kept getting "no signal" message. When I called down to front desk the pleasant man offered to come up to room to fix it but at after midnight we didn't want someone in our room. I also told him that the sink drain was clogged and the bathtub faucet was dripping and wouldn't stop. He said they couldn't change our room because they were at full capacity. My husband was staying in another room with our son and he said their sink was also clogged and their tub faucet was dripping all night. Seems like this hotel management doesn't believe in maintenance. After attempting to take a shower with very low water pressure coming out of the shower, I was not able to completely turn off the water. The fitted sheet wouldn't stay on the bed and the the bottom of the bed was frayed. The breakfast was adequate with make your own waffles and hot coffee with other offerings. My husband made the reservation and I'm not sure how much we paid but I imagine it was probably WAY too much.

This hotel receives 4 stars overall, but DEFINITELY 5 STAR SERVICE. Trace at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. He gave us great recommendations for visiting Cape Disappointment, driving on the beach without getting stuck, and where to get a great dinner that fit our needs. Everyone else we encountered was equally helpful and welcoming. When employees are happy and good at what they do, it shows how management and ownership have done a great job in providing a good workplace and that is important to me. The room was clean, but had a funky smell and for $250+ per night, that was unacceptable. However, it didn't dim the experience as the service was on point. Breakfast is good enough and will get you out to do what you want easily and quickly.

From the moment I arrived I felt right at home. The staff was friendly, engaging, helpful and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Very clean. Comfy beds. And very dog friendly! Kudos. Keep smiling folks: you're doing all the right things!

If I could, I would have given this hotel between 2 and 3 stars. If it hadn't cost $370/night, it might be worth 3 full stars but not more. I expected much better at that price, and given the good reviews on this site and past experience with Best Western in other locations. Our room was way overpriced. We stayed 2 nights recently with our grandson to celebrate his birthday. I realize weekend prices are jacked up, but unfortunately it was the only time we could come. If I had known the quality of the room I would have booked somewhere else. We had the 2-queen beds room. The beds were really only a little wider than double beds (we have a queen so know these are smaller than regular queen size). The room and bathroom are small. No counter space to put anything in the bathroom. The sink drained VERY slowly. It filled half the sink before draining. There was no lock on the bathroom door (!?) Besides all that, on the morning we were checking out, maids knocked on the door FOUR times between 9:45 and 10:45 (check out is 11:00). And we had the Do Not Disturb sign out. Luckily we had the deadbolt on, because after knocking they would try coming in without even giving us time to answer. Not good!! The hotel has no pool, I think for the prices they charge they should at least have that. The reasons I'm not giving the hotel 2 stars is because it was clean, had a good hot breakfast, and is an easy walk to everything.

Some friends and I had a bad Airbnb and called BW Long Beach Inn literally in the middle of the night for any room that was available. Rene and the team helped us get settled and saved the weekend! Thank you!

This is just an average hotel. Not worth the $160.00 we paid. AND the internet never worked while we were there. We were told that too many people were using the system and it was bogged down. But couldn't log on at 3:00 am either. Also, couldn't eat the over salted breakfast eggs.

I'm writing this review as I'm sitting in my beautifully clean and comfortable room. Front desk folks were extremely friendly and helpful. Very happy with this property. Upgraded to a king suite and we are very appreciative of this thoughtful gesture.

Is just off the main downtown street. Very convenient location. Near stores, eating places, sea food, close to Beach access. Close to bike trail and walking trails. Local people are very friendly and helpful.

Made reservations on Best Western's web site it had the best rates. Our room was as requested, King Suite upper floor. The room was very clean and fresh, the only despoilment was the ice machine was not working. The hotel location is good ez walk to town and sights. Did not have breakfast, but the serving room was clean and tables well spaced

Room was overall clean and appliances up to date. Beds were clean and comfy. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was good despite the current situation with Covid. Hand sanitizer and wipes available in different locations through out the hotel.

We were put in a room that had been smoked or vaped in previously, the front desk seamed to be unaware that this had happened.that puts in question the house keeping staff, we were given a few squirts of air freshener and a sorry for your inconvenience..., and a thank you for staying we got your money and you can't do anything about it...

I want to say first we notified the manager on duty about all of this. I was the 3rd person in line to talk to her. She gave the first 2 people nothing. She gave us $20 off our room which is nothing for what we experienced. The mattress was horrible and when we told the manager she said, oh yeah we are working on replacing our mattresses. As if that makes up for not sleeping well on a bad mattress. In the morning our water was very brown(see pictures) in the sink, toilet and shower. We were told to keep running the water and it will clear up, it never did. We never got to shower or brush our teeth. Because we couldn't shower and to wait for the water to clear, went down to breakfast with an hour left of the breakfast hours and half the food was gone. I asked if more was coming and the kitchen staff said they can't make more because the electricity was out. Then we noticed all the chocolate milk containers were expired. The Nutella spread was also expired by 6 months! We stopped eating and checked out. Like I said, we told the manager about all of this and she tried to excuse it all away as no big deal. I told her it was not excusable and she offered $20 off a room we paid $250 for.

Our stay here was delightful. The modest property is well maintained and clean. Even though Covid protocols are in effect, we had a hot breakfast, not a brown bag special. The hotel was busy, I think many people were taking their kids to the beach on spring break.

The king suite was very comfortable. The bed was perfect - if you don't sleep it ruins the whole trip so this is a priority with me. Breakfast was the full BW cooked breakfast so we were super happy to see a return to normalcy. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.

A little pricey but worth the money. Pretty comfy beds,very quiet location, The Internet is exceptionally fast Not a very good selection on the TV. No matter what I still enjoyed my stay even though it was one night

Wonderful area near to beach, shops, nice room, more space what needed for. Nice staff, very friendly, very gesture when I needed to, I am deaf, very easy to use gesture with staff with my phone when I called through my relay video phone.

Our room was amazingly clean and quiet. Bravo. All Staff friendly. Morning full breakfast was good. The rest of Long Beach looked run down and we had difficulty finding a Thai Restaurant that was open

Slightly hidden off the main road, clean, and well cared for. Friendly staff, clean rooms, decent amenities. Bed made my back sore. Typical water restrictor in the shower. Reasonable price. Close to beach, a number of great restaurants, and downtown.

We decided to spend a few days at the ocean to escape our Covid-19 claustrophobia and the fire smoke. The BW at Long Beach was a serviceable spot for a casual stay. It is not a beachfront inn; there are few of these at Long Beach. But it is smack in the center of town and is easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and taverns. It is reasonably confortable. We asked for a queen sized bed and that's what we got. However, the room was on the small side and so clearance between the bed and the dresser was tricky, especially in the dark when making the inevitable bathroom trip. The bathroom was also small but it was clean. Walls are thin so you can quite easily hear conversations, television, etc., in adjoining rooms. I was awakened by a dog barking and whimpering at 6 AM. This inn is very dog friendly. They offer a free breakfast, which is nice if you haven't had a chance to explore the town for options. It is a serve-yourself buffet. Nothing special about the food but OK for free. The coffee and tea water were lukewarm by the time we arrived, but they have a microwave and a cold/hot water jug. Some of the people visiting the food service area did not "mask up." One family brought their big dog to the dining area, which got loose and started sniffing everybody. The big plus in the BW inn was service and the responsiveness of the staff. Although they do not provide automatic daily cleaning service, they will clean your room occasionally if you request it. The front desk people were very friendly and responsive to requests for help or directions. We had a few routine needs which they took care of immediately. All in all, it was not perfect, but we enjoyed our stay while at this ocean town inn.

Nice location. Clean , nice staff . Fitness closes at 10. Should be 24 hours. No pool. Check out was at 11am . Feel it's a bit early . Grace time was 10min only otherwise they threatened to charge us .

For what it was the price was excessive. Since there was no maid service, the price should have been adjusted. The bed was way too soft and obviously needed to be replaced. Room furniture was cheap. Towels were very stiff and were again obviously in need of being thrown out and replaced. Not soft at all.

I'm a rewards member months ago i reserved a King room for the weekend. when we arrived they told us the only king was across from the front desk, elevator and pop machine.in the time at the desk 2 people bought pop the noise was not acceptable so they gave us a Queen room. But we wanted a King the TV wouldn't turn on the next day they came to the room turned it on but later it didn't work!

The staff was amazing. The rooms were very small and space was tight. We had someone above us, it was very loud and bothersome. Great location for walking in town. Many options for breakfast. Soft water shower- always feels great,but then wreaks-havoc on the hair!

Booked online via Priceline. 2 nights. Showed up at 3 for checkin- (website says 3) desk says 4. But they had a room available and cleanliness was good. We didn't plan on spending a lot of time in the room except for some morning work time at the desk. The desk is right at the end of the bed so you can't walk past the bed without someone moving the chair. That was ok! The worst part was- the shower water function didn't really work. Well, after a little forcing- it pulled straight out but no left or right. Meaning the temperature was stuck- at luke warm. Was going to mention it but didn't want to have to change rooms due to COVID- and making them have to change rooms and clean again. But while in the hall over heard a maintenance person talking to an employee and he was asking which room had the bad shower, that he still needed to order the part. Since I was right there- I said, this one! Lol! I hope they do not use the room again without fixing the shower. I got home today- and finally showered for real! Also- they have their breakfast buffet open. Meaning each guest has access to roughing the utensils! FYI be careful!

We enjoyed our weekend stay while we were house hunting. The staff and venue were outstanding. i will be recommending the property to all my friends and colleagues who are visiting the Long Beach Peninsula

The accommodations were great. The only problem was the internet failed due to faulty computer boards. They were waiting on parts and we were not able to connect. The Management gave us a credit on our bill was was very generous of them.

Nosiy guests upstairs. Bed was not at all comfortable and the king size room was small. Couldn't get the tub to let out more than a trickle of water at a time. Housekeepers came into our room while sleeping

Very nice hotel. Front desk staff was always friendly and ready to help. Breakfast was wonderful - everything was stocked and fresh. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Love that this hotel has an elevator so we don't always have to stay on the ground floor. Will definitely be staying there again.

Didn't know where I was going to stay when I got to town at 4:30. My call to the front desk was the best out of several hotels I called answering all my questions. Upon check in I was offered my choice of floors and as I had my dog with me a very easy accessible one near the door to the pet area which I was able to park near too. ! Well lit and secure. Bed was comfy and couldn't hear the storm outside, win win!

Nice try BW, but you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear. This was originally a Super 8 motel and the size of the rooms reflect that. Better decor but small is small no matter how you look at it.

This room had just enough space and comfort to make it a relaxing couples weekend. We enjoyed watching Christmas movies and using to the wifi to find activities near us. The front desk helped us with directions and recommendations too. The full breakfast was perfect to get our morning started too.

I checked in late. The front desk lady was very helpful getting my t.v. to operate. She was kind and courteous. I felt welcome. I would stay at best western again. The room was clean Thank you so much! Martin

Loved our stay, the place was clean, up to date, and a great location. Our only issue was the bed was rather uncomfortable. The breakfast looked great, but we didn't have any of it, just went down for coffee.

The staff was super nice and polite. Rooms clean and comfortable. We ended up staying an extra night as the hotel was so nice. We had our dogs with us and the location was conveniently located near the beach.

Located right in the middle of long beach and convenient to great restaurants, shopping and the beach. Spacious rooms and pet friendly. Parking is tight if you have a big truck or SUV. Deck clerks were friendly and efficient. Housekeeping did NOT clean our room on Saturday, but the front desk did what they could to make up for it.

Thank you for being so caring and understanding during our stay for a funeral. It really touched me that staff genuinely cared. Breakfast was wonderful.. my son lived it so much he ate breakfast 2 times!

This is one of the better properties in Long Beach. The breakfast is way above average, the rooms are more than adequate and the free Wifi is speedy. This property is well managed and will offer no "surprises"

We did not know what to expect in going to Long Beach but we were glad we did! The hotel does not have a pool or hot tub but we did not care. The property is well maintained and the girls work hard to keep everything spotless. We had an upgrade to a king suite and it was so compfy and spacious. Hotel is in a great location close to restaurants and beach!

Best Westerm is close to restaurants and fun entertainment for the whole family. Great breadfast choices and clean eating area. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Not on the beach but a short drive or long walk in the sunshine. Not always sunny but still a neat place to hang out.

While on vacation my wife and I stayed one night at BW in Long Beach, Washington. We were very impressed with this hotel. Check-in was quick and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The hotel was very nice, and was quiet at night allowing us to get a good nights rest. The room was very clean and smelled good when we entered. We didn't eat breakfast there but it smelled very good. A very good stay here, and we would definately recommend it.

Stayed for Razor Clam digging with wife and two kids. Very nice location, right in the middle of Long Beach WA, with many shops and restaurants near by. Close to the beach as well. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable., although if you are sitting on the char at the desk, it will block others from walking to rest of the rooms, especially the desk is near the entrance of the room. Breakfast was good. The price was a little bit high, but we went during the Razor Clam digging weekend, so most of the hotels in the area were well booked. The staffs are very friendly. The hotel does have self service laundry. The room also have a microwave and a large fridge (for a hotel room). Overall a very nice stay.

We didn't really have a good nights sleep as the beds are way too soft, squishy, and you sink into them. We called to ask for another room but they stated all their beds are the same. Our room wasn't very clean either. Ok for a one night stay and centrally located to the beach, restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly, but I don't think I'd return.

First visit to this Best Western so the review will be a 3 for the following reasons: 1. Went online to their website & found reservation number listed. Learned after using this number booking that I was directed to a third party company that charged a $7.95 booking fee. Lesson learned; call the hotel directly and verify they are not third party company! 2. Checking good. Learned booking with third party company, Best Western does not honor your rewards account...Nice job Best Western! 3. Rooms very nicely furnished. Clean in question with leftover chip in stained chair. Turned cushion over to see another stain. See picture. Will be sure to tell front desk to avoid damage charges. Was told were running credit card to be able to charge for incidentals for damages to room. Hope to update in morning.

We stayed at Long Beach BW. Compared to BW in Ocean Shores and BW Oak Harbor...Long Beach BW had bad, squeaky beds with a cavern in the middle. My husband and I kept falling into the cavern. Hard to turn over. Bad night of sleep. We won't be back. We will enjoy the beach and stay in Gabraldi or BW Ocean Shores. Expensive and not worth the dollars. Small bathroom, no sitting space like the other BW

No need to spend a fortune. This fairly newly built chain hotel has above average rooms, extremely friendly front desk (props to Meisha for going the extra mile) and is very conveniently located. Very much valye for money.

There's certainly a beach in Long Beach. Cool, breezy weather even in the midst of summer makes the place fine for kiting (we were there for a kite festival), growing cranberries, and probably golfing, but no good at all for sunbathing. As a result, resort beach accommodations don't seem to exist in Long Beach. The Best Western appears to be among the best of what is available. Smack in the middle of the small commercial district of this 2.5 mile by eight block city, its location is central. Rooms are what one would expect of a mid-scale property, functional and comfortable without being particularly distinctive. Small, scratchy bath towels indicate that this is no luxury property. But the beds were comfortable and our room was quiet. And what appears to be a staff of only four does an excellent job of maintaining the place. They were quite helpful when a computer problem upon check-in rendered our first three sets of room keys inoperable; they let us into our room while resolving the issue.

We did not have any trouble whatsoever with our stay. Loved the new contemporary modern look of the decor. Staff was overly friendly and helpful. Actually found that sleeping on one of your beds comfortably made me realize I need a new bed for my home:)

We have stayed at other hotels in Long Beach, WA and after visiting the Best Western we have not returned to any of them. Located right in the heart of downtown Long Beach it is close to shopping, a book store, a couple of restaurants and a tavern all within easy walking distance. A little longer walk will put you on the beach, about 1/2 a mile by my best guess. I like this place and will return and I would not hesitate to recommend the Best Western.

Super soft bed if someone moves other person sinks. No water pressure was terrible! Either hot or cold no in between. No views of anything whatsoever ever. No pool. Breakfast not desirable, not much for breakfast. Rooms super super small.

A very nice,clean and comfortabe place. The Staff is amazing! very sincere and ready to help with anything! they even had fresh hot cookies out for guests, almost every time we came into the lobby. They even had helpful sugjestions on where to go to eat after most places had closed up for the evening.

Great experience from check in to check out. Well-kept property and kind and knowledgeable staff. No complaints whatsoever! Conveniently located near food and entertainment as well as the ocean. Staff were great!

Selected Best Western in Long Bach, WA for a good brand reputation, and a very reasonable price for the area. The building was back from the road, so noise was minimal, and the room was very nice. I would stay there again for sure!

Stayed for our Wedding anniversary and the place seems to have upped there pricing ($251.00 for one night 2 people king bed standard room) first thing I notice is dog hair everywhere in the room, between the sheets, in the refrigerator...alot in the fridge, basically everywhere. Next item of disappointment was they book people with children up on the 3rd floor so around 2am the banging above me finally stopped...up at 5 since the window outside our room was right in front of where everyone that works there smokes or hangs out I guess since the noise started at 5am...so now I am awake 3 hours sleep and its stuffy in the room so I open the window to a massive could of cigarette smoke...oh joy! close the window, shower, get ready for the day and head down for the breakfast buffet (which has been really good in the past) first off the food was way below par of what they used to offer, powdered eggs, rotten black spots all over the potatoes, no biscuits and gravy and the topper....are you ready? DOGS! Dogs in the dining area, dogs in the sitting area dogs frigging everywhere...like really people not everyone is a dog lover or wants dogs around them and top say the least wants to be eating next to a bunch of dogs...FFS leave your damn dog in the room for 5 damn minutes people!!!! I will not be going back to this place and the management doesn't seem to give 2 cents if you are truly happy or they would have offered to chop a few bucks off the travesty of the $251.00 fee they charge to stay in a god dammed pet hotel...nope not going back and will not recommend...

This Best Western hotel is conveniently located in the center of Longbeach. Close to restaurants, shops, beach and local attractions. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had many hot and cold options. Very satisfied. Will return.

As a BW Rewards member we expected to use our points for a free room or discount but were not allowed to so we had to pay $267 for an average 1 queen bed room. No swimming pool/spa on the premises. Overpriced for an average hotel.

This hotel is classy, clean and the rooms have such up beat decor .. very new style and great set up for continental breakfast with enough food to last for the 4 hour window ... eggs, sausage, waffles , yogurt , fruit .. even whipping cream and berries and your typical other items . The location was perfect as we arrived for July 4 and could easily walk all over Long Beach from the hotel. The beds are comfy and feel like they have extra support ... slept my best during our holiday at this location so far ...we would not hesitate to come back again!

Clean, orderly room. Diverse and comprehensive breakfast options. Only drawback was walls maybe a bit too thin, as we could everything going on around us in other rooms and hallway. Would definitely stay here again. Good location in downtown area.

I travel with my dog and stay at pet friendly motels. The majority of the rooms have an odor of dog urine and are less than clean. This motel has friendly staff. My room was squeaky clean and no odor of animals or people lingered. With all the sand kicking around, there wasn't any evidence of it in the room or lobby. Excellent stay

Great Location in Downtown Long Beach Washington. Easy Walk to multiple food establishments and plenty of shops to visit. Great walking access to the beach and boardwalk trail. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed my stay.

The location is nice as it's in the middle of downtown, the breakfast is good quality (eggs, bacon or sausage, waffle maker, etc.), the rooms are comfortable, and there is plenty of parking. Yes, the staff didn't clean our room on the second day (they had a new person), but the next day's staff was super nice and helpful in getting our room in good shape. And yes, they didn't have cookies any day except the first day, but that's not a show stopper. And yes, it's a bit of a trek to the beach if you walk from the hotel (especially if you're carting a bunch of beach equipment for little ones), but we ended up driving down Sid Snyder and parking to get closer, so not a big deal. All in all, we'll be back for next year's vacation.

A clean well maintained Hotel in town. The staff at this hotel are exceptional, helpful in every way. Especially Trace always has a smile on her face! Only thing I would add is having local bakery goods on the counter for morning breakfast.

Everything about this hotel is top notch. Yummy fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the evening at the front desk. Get there early, they go fast! Centrally located, fairly quiet and quick and easy checkin. The bed was way too soft and squishy though. Bedding and towels smelled fresh and clean. The only complaint, the shower curtain had a sour smell, so we kept the bathroom door closed so we couldn't smell it in the room. We would stay here again the next time we are in Long Beach.

I loved how everything was in the walking distance and how friendly the staff were as well as the availability of Staff when needed. Since I didn't like to drive too much it was great to be able to walk out of the front lobby and you're right where all the shops are great vendors great people great place to go

We found this hotel perfectly appointed and enjoyed our three day stay. The front desk staff people and housekeeping were helpful and friendly and our room was comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast each morning was hearty offering hot and cold choices, waffles, fresh fruits and delicious coffee always kept hot and brewed throughout the day. Our only complaint is that the mattress was rather soft as we prefer a firmer one. This, however, will not prevent us from giving five stars.

We used our rewards points to stay one night. The staff was as friendly and helpful and treated us like we were the big spenders. Nothing was second rate. We had a beautiful room, very clean. It was an enjoyable stay!

We stayed at the Best Western in Long Beach and had a enjoyable stay. The rooms were very nice and the beds comfortable. The breakfast in the morning had a great variety.We had our dog with us and the accommodations mad it easy to take him out and pick up bags available.

We enjoyed this hotel from the moment we walked in the door. The front desk gentleman was very helpful, pointing out some places to eat. He even loaned me a phone cord. The beds were wonderful and quiet. It looked to us like the area around the hotel gets hopping in summer. We have never been disappointed by a BW hotel.

This hotel was very clean, both outside and in. The front desk staff and breakfast staff were kind and helpful and went out of their way to take good care of us. Breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast area was kept very clean, despite the hotel being busy. The hotel is within walking distance of shops, beach, and entertainment. Two negatives--the rooms are fairly small, and the people in the residence which shares a parking lot apparently like to play loud and annoying music on their patio outside. They turned it off at 10:00.

We needed a good nights sleep, but it was not going to happen due to the construction of this hotel. We were in a 2nd floor room, and we had guests directly above us on the 3rd floor whose walking could be heard along with the constant creaking boards where they walked. I'm sure they did not know what havoc they were wreaking below just by plain walking across a floor. Unfortunately, our above guests continued their walking noises after 10 pm. and again starting at 5 am. Plus, we could hear loud snoring from a guest in the room adjacent to our room-fortunately his snoring subsided. My husband has considerable hearing loss and even he could hear all theses noises. Not sure if even ear plugs would have solved these situations. As for the front desk staff, they were very pleasant upon check-in and check-out and even when we mentioned to them the problem with our room. So, kudos to them for their handling of an issue that they cannot solve.

Adequate room was a bit dated but reasonably clean. Bed was comfortable, chairs were not. Staff was friendly, Trace was especially helpful. Cute little handie community with abundant dining options. We pretty much had the ocean to ourselves. We will return!

I pull a portable MRI trailer to small hospitals around Oregon and Washington. The BW in Long Beach WA is the absolute BEST. Friendly and helpful staff, awesome breakfast bar and you can throw a rock and hit the beach. The only thing that MIGHT be an issue is the limited parking in the area.

We chose to stay at the BW because there was a clam dig scheduled for Presidents Day Weekend. The hotel is right on the main road, walking distance to Marshes Museum (must see!), food, drink, and licenses. We were 5 minutes from the beach. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable. We had a discount, which made the room appropriately priced for its location.

The staff was friendly and helpful. It was so nice that I could bring my dog as well. They were very accommodating. The room was nice clean with everything we needed for our stay. The overall experience was very nice.

Loved being right in centre of long beach. Had dinner at a restaurant with really good clam chowder at dodgers down block. Couldn't see ocean but could smell it. Breakfast buffet was good. We Will be back!

Tired looking rooms, but apparently they have been renovated. We are going to have to rethinking our hotel rewards with BW and find another more upscale rewards program. If you are looking for cheap-ish rates, but don't care about nice bedding or decor maybe this BW is for you.

Nice Hotel, 10 minute walk to beach, close to shopping and restaurants. Very reasonable breakfast included. Moderately priced, good value for the cost. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room would be a little cramped with two beds, but had lots of room with only one bed. Good lighting, accessible outlets and USB ports.

A quiet and comfortable place to stay. Within walking distance to fun places, including the Beach. This was a working trip, so a breakfast before and a nice comfortable bed after our job, was much appreciated.

Located within walking distance of the beach, this gem is quiet, clean, so friendly and next to Marsh's Free Museum. I always stay here! When I brought my dog, they acted like she was a member of the family!

The beds are extremely soft and sag in the middle so two people roll towards each other. If one person moves, the whole mattress moves. Additionally, the pet charge is quite high. $20 per night! I think we will stay elsewhere in the future.

I had a work trip in the area and since other people booked here, I ended up there as well. I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. It's also right next to a charming downtown and had a decent breakfast. The most important thing is how friendly and great the front desk customer service was. Even very late at night, they were always helpful and friendly.

If you really want to enjoy your stay in Long Beach, WA I suggest you stay at at the Best Western Motel. It is by far the best place to stay in the area. Being centrally located in town you are close to all that the area has to offer.

Overall very satisfied with hotel. Six of us stayed at the hotel, great location. We were there to scatter the ashes of my brother in law at one of favorite spots. Though there were tears, laughter, time to catch up on family and friends, great place to lay our heads after a long day. Only complaint is we left after check out time and were charged for the whole day, we asked but nothing could be done because we book direct to the hotel online???

The hotel staff are very friendly and the location is great. Long Beach is an amazing place to visit, and try to get down to the beach first thing for some great views. However the hotel is basic. They do have a fitness suite which has minimal equipment in it, and offer a free breakfast. The rooms are very clean and spacious and recently renovated. It is a good place to use as a base for going out during the days in the area.

The Best Western is the newest and therefore the nicest hotel on the peninsula. Nice downtown location made it easy to walk to the shops and restaurants in town and a reasonable walk to the ocean. They allow dogs as well

We have stayed here many times, but when it was a Super 8 and may have stayed once while it was in transition. Now a Best Western, it is much nicer. We wanted a handicap room. but they didn't have one available, so took a regular room. This motel would earn a Five Star rating from me, but for one thing. The toilet in our room was still one of the old lower toilets and not the new higher ADA toilet that those of us with knee and hip problems like. Other than that, friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast.

I really was pleased when Long Beach place a Best Western in the town. It was clean and fresh - However this last weekend I stayed just one night the hotel is headed down that slope where the place is looking worn and not being kept. The surfaces for the breakfast area are pretty clean but the chairs for sitting to eat?! Horrible and filthy - I'm not one to complain but I had to say it.

Jazmyn, Trace, Meisha and Casey were all so wonderful and made me feel right at home. They are such caring and helpful people. I will definitely be returning to this wonderful hotel. On a side note, maybe get some new mattresses.

This is a great location, off the main drag, close (relative) to the ocean. (Not much of anything is really close to the ocean in this area.) People were very helpful with dining choices and directions to here and there. We spent two nights, interacted with several staff and were very pleased with each. Keep up the great job!

This is really a great place to stay. Close to the beach. Newly updated and very clean. Casey does a fantastic job. Keeps the breakfast area wiped down all during breakfast as well as checking so the food is stocked. Always a smile. Meisha gave us a quick check in the night we arrived and made sure everything was good. Makes extra good cookies too.

I stayed one night at this BW site. I was very impressed with the staff, the cleanliness, and comfort, of the room and the free, full breakfast in the a.m. Plus it is right next to my favorite shop, Marsh's Free Museum! It's also walking distance to the beach, many good restaurants and the Kite Museum. All this for a very reasonable rate.

Meisha was so friendly and helpful when I checked in. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and where the good eats are! Casey was so nice in the morning when I had an issue that was unrelated to my stay. She helped me locate a lock smith and get on my way.

I stayed at the best western one night while working close by. I came it later in the evening and trace was fast, efficient and thoroughly explained the ins and outs of the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. internet was good! Was up early for work and was greated by jazmyn and Casey, who are wonderful both where smiling and bubbly. Coffee in the lobby and breakfast was clean and organized. I will stay with this best western again when I work in the area! Lovely

We stayed the weekend at the best western and it was wonderful! Trace is incredible very knowledgeable about the town and the food options!! Casey and jazmyn are so wonderful, everytime we seen then it was smiles and hellos, Even if they where on the move!The staff makes this hotel worth the stay.

The hotel was very nice and near the beach. Staff made you feel like family and was apart of team. Would definitely stay there again when in the area. Rooms had a lot of space. Internet was good. Plenty of free parking.

Friendly staff. Comfy beds & pillows. Great heating/AC system, easy to use and very quiet. Good variety for breakfast, 3 hot dishes, besides the waffle offering. Two types of waffle makers, normal size and one with 4 small waffles, great for kids or someone who just wants a small serving of waffles. Easy check in/ check out. Good working shower and nice amenities. Convenient charging ports and plugs for all my electronics right by the bed. Would have liked to have a recycle bin in the room.

We were here for 2 nights, to get lighthouse photos. Everything was clean, the staff was nice, hot cookies served in the evening. The breakfast had a wide variety of foods, from fresh oranges and bananas, to oatmeal, dry cereals, waffles, bagels, muffins and breads. We were located within three blocks of anywhere we wanted to eat. There was a washer and dryer in the room with the ice on the second floor. Bring a bag for your recycling, they do not do it. The state parks have recycling bins, where you can easily do the right thing.

I never been to this part of Washington so I wanted to see this area on my trip. I was glad I chose this hotel. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast and nice people. Walking distance to the small and quaint downtown.

Hotel has a great location for the event although their rates are extremely inflated during this event. This year was by far the highest despite booking early (in June). I was told this year that booking earlier can result in a lower rate so if you're doing Rod Run in 2019, book now. Also had plumbing problems on the final night/morning.

There was a couple hiccups, but overall we enjoyed our stay. It's a great central location. Walking distance to the beach, food, and entertainment. They even allow you to have your fur babies stay with you if you choose.

Stayed here 1 night while touring the coast. Relatively new and well kept up. We did have 1 small issue with our room when arriving, but we were immediately moved and upgraded to a better room. There is not a beach view, but just a few blocks walk away. Many restaurants also within easy walking distance. Typical breakfast buffet, nothing special. Would stay here again.

Jazmyn, Trace, and Casey went out of their way to make me and my family feel at home. They were so kind. They always greeted us with a smile and a friendly hello. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

This wonderful front desk staff is very helpful in finding things to do and recommendations on food and local activities. Meisha greeted us for breakfast every morning with a smile and kind words. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. One of the best places I have stayed.

I stayed here just one night while visiting family. I went purely by the TripAdvisor recommendations. We paid a little more ($20-30) but it was well worth it. Seem less check in and check out. Immaculate property, friendly professional staff. Separate breakfast area and tables and common area near the lobby. Breakfast was abundant with choices and very good. It is a little hard to find the entrance to the parking lot but I think that's probably due to city code. Just pass the first traffic light, about 2-3 blocks. Look for a Lime Green building on your left (currently a Thai restaurant) and the entrance is right there. Centrally located to everything and next door the Marsh museum.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, great location--as it has easy access to beaches and restaurants (walking or driving). Breakfast served early for those early risers, loved how they also had freshly baked cookies for their guests to enjoy!

The rooms are clean and nice and the staff were all very pleasant. When we arrived they were just bringing out a plate of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies which was a wonderful surprise after a long day of driving. The hotel is a very short walk to many restaurants and shops, and just a few minutes walk the beach. Breakfast was very good. We would stay here again.

Enjoyed our overnight here. We travel by motorcycle and the folks were welcoming to us. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. A little tricky to find as the GPS took us to the back door and there were no signs identifying it as a hotel. Sign out front was small. City ordnance governs that I guess.

My family of four stayed here, we got a king bed suite, so the kids could sleep on the sofa bed. The sofa bed was just that a sofa bed, but the kids were fine on it. The only thing about the room was the placement of the TV. It was hard to see from either the bed or the sofa. Luckily we weren't there for the TV.. the beach is very close by and everything in town is with in walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel! Everything works, everything is nice & clean. The rooms are nice size. Our room overlooked the road behind the hotel so we opened the windows and got the breeze from the ocean. Good location, in the middle of the peninsula so you can walk to everything.

The hotel and staff are great! The bed on the other hand was lumpy and was not comfortable at all. Everything else was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, love being able to make my own waffles and having the option to top them how I like.

Clean and pet friendly with free breakfast. This hotel is located downtown next to Marsh's Museum and store. It has no views of the ocean. Staff is super friendly and nice. Literally steps to all the shops and restaurants in town. Good free breakfast. We were in room 302 which had a funky chemical smell from the cleaning products? Had no view though. Odd room layout, not sure why we had a sink in the bedroom. A very large refrigerator and small microwave. No tv in the living room, just the bedroom.

We stayed at another hotel our first night and moved here the next 2 nights, what a difference. Close to the core of town, we walked all over Long Beach and were never far from “home”. Th eyoung lady who checked us in was a pleasure to chat with as we were over 2 hours before check in time. She made our early arrival a fun experience, we'd go back again just to visit with her!

Nice upper scale hotel. Good breakfast selections. Right in the middle of the "downtown" walking and shopping and plenty of food choices all within walking distance. Will have to come back to explore the area more! Fitness room.

The staff at this motel were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was nice, the wifi was fast and breakfast was good. To top things off, they had one of those waffle irons that makes 4 little ones, just right to share. Close to the boardwalk and the beach.

As we walked into the hotel lobby, there was lively chatter and laughter coming from the young man and woman at the front desk. I commented that someone was having fun and they replied, yes, we are! I like that sort of greeting! Warm chocolate chip cookies were available to guests. We headed up to our room and were pleased at both the size and cleanliness. The bathroom is quite tiny but worked out just fine. Nothing fancy but the location is right downtown with easy access to restaurants and shopping. Yes, we would stay again!

Charity at the reception desk was so helpful. We had planned to stay two nights in Long beach but my husband lost his IPhone in depot bay Oregon. When we were notified that it had been found we decided to drive back and get it. That meant we had to cancel r second night in long beach. Charity was so kind and understanding. not the least bit cranky with a senior citizen. We were able to relax and enjoy the rest of r stay in Long Beach. If I was going to comment on the facility I would say it is a standard hotel. Nothing really bad but nothing to rave about either. It is located in the heart of Long Beach and walkable to lots. The room is ok but small and no view. Beds are comfortable and they provide the basic free breakfast. What makes this place a winner is the staff. Thanks again Charity!

Great bed, personable staff, clean location with beach access, we are staying for many days. Fresh warm cookies in the afternoon when we arrived. Helpful staff, from front counter to housekeeping, this is like being at home but better, someone else will make your bed.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were very nice and the hotel is right next to the shops and rides and beach. Amazingly quiet, I asked to be moved away from the front entrance ( have had a problem with that in the past as smokers go out there and talk loud while they smoke) They were full so they couldn't move us and we were almost next to the elevator but it worked out OK, we never heard the elevator or anyone outside the room. It is a fairly small hotel so that probably helped with the noise. The beds were great, super comfortable and I loved that the room had a setting on the heat/airconditoner to have a continual fan to make white noise, just in case of loud noises. The rooms looked recently updated and it was very nice. Breakfast was what you would expect, nothing to rave about but fine for our needs. We used the work out room two mornings and there is a TV and water and the time went fast, it was nice to have!

This is a really nice hotel property. The staff were quite helpful, the breakfast was good, and there were lovely flowers outside. We visited the nearby cranberry museum (free) & purchased some really nice items. That facility is a reseach location run by WA State University. We were able to see the cranberry bogs and had a wonderful visit with the woman inside the gift shop. We also had a wonderful seafood dinner in this part of WA. I would definitely recommend this hotel & the overall area for folks touring the Olympic Peninsula area.

This hotel is a nice stay for a weekend in Long Beach WA. It's location makes walking in town and to the beach easy. The decor and staff are nice. Overall, a great value with a decent breakfast and modern lounge area. In room coffee and refrigerators are nice.

Unfortunately we check-in a little after 8:00, check-out past 9:00, we didn't have a chance to walk down the beach. The hotel is right on the strip of town, shops were all closed but walking distance. Some restaurants were also closed but also within walking distance. Friendly front desk, room was nice and clean. We sure had a very comfortable stayed, breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend this Best Western hotel.

April 22 - 24. Had an enjoyable stay at the Best Western whilst exploring Long Beach. Hotel is well located to explore the town and the beach area, close to attractions and restaurants. The hotel is obviously not new but Lindsay, General Manager, and her staff, get the most out of this well maintained property. Rooms are clean, good bathroom, bed a bit soft (but obviously a personal preference here), typical thin partition walls in older construction (but we were not bothered by this at all), breakfast was good but perhaps could have done with more fresh fruit, pleasant front desk staff, easy check in, keen to help and recommend restaurants etc in town. The hotel provides excellent value for money and we can recommend. .

We chose those motel because of the location and the breakfast. We were concerned about noise and odor as they let dogs stay in the rooms. Surprisingly we did not hear dogs barking nor did we notice any pet odor. Staff was courteous and helpful, rooms clean and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful

The Best Western hotel in Long Beach, WA is conveniently located to shops and restaurants in downtown Long Beach. The ocean beach is about a half mile away and is an easy walk from the hotel or a short drive if you prefer. The pet policy is pet friendly and the rates for pets are quite reasonable unlike some of the competition whose pet rates are highway robbery. The staff is professional, friendly, knowledgeable about the area and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend the Long Beach, WA, Best Western to anyone.

Always fun with no hassles at Best Western Long Beach. A very pet friendly hotel near the beach. Good parking and internet. Next to most all the attractions in town. If you like seafood chowder, the best I have ever had was a block away.

This hotel was perfect for our stay! The location is right next door to Marshs Free Museum and super close to all other stores and restaurants. The staff were all super nice and very dog friendly. We could come in the front and rear door with zero problems with our dogs. Some hotels like you to not use certain entrances but they did not. Our room was plenty big for 2 adults and 2 large dogs. We did have to keep the window and bathroom fan on during and after the dogs meal time (canned food gets smelly in a closed area ??). There is a sidewalk with lots of grassy areas out back where you can walk your dogs. It's well lit and they have waste bags and trash cans provided as well. At night the front desk had out fresh baked cookies on the counter! Breakfast provided had a large variety of waffles, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, bacon / sausage (depending on the day), hash brown potatoes, cereal w/ gluten free options, non dairy milk, regular milk, yogurt, juices, fruit, breads, muffins, coffee & tea. I'm sure I'm missing something but it was good options especially if your on a limited diet. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we're back in the area. ????

Excellent value for a weekend get away. Clean, comfortable rooms and an excellent staff made our visit a pleasure. The Best Western is centrally located, so most of the local attractions and the beach are with-in easy walking distance.

This place has an awesome location. You can walk to almost anything you need! The only issue might be road noise - so consider staying on the non-road side of the hotel, especially in the summer. March was a relatively quiet time, so it wasn't that much of an issue.

Just about 2 years since being extensively modernised and brought into the Best Western family. Just about in the middle of town, easy to walk everywhere from here. Everything is just as you expect from BW, good facilities, rooms well done and a great staff. Friendly staff, helpful local information, and kept wonderfully clean. Great Best Western style breakfasts, and service with a smile! No beach views from here, but right beside everything in town, good food, and some quirky little places around to keep you interested even on a rainy early spring day. We will be back for sure, lots to see and do!

This hotel is very quiet. Nice breakfast selection, including bacon/sausage, hash browns, eggs, waffles, all kinds of cereals, fruit, etc. Close to shops and restaurants and not that far to the trails on the beach dunes.

Stayed one night, we had three small dogs and they only charged $20.00 for a pet fee! So hard to find nice places when traveling with pets. Nicely decorated lobby, pleasant and friendly staff. Our room was fantastically clean, even the bathroom was perfect. I used to work for a hotel so I know what to look for and I was pleased. They have a great hot breakfast in the morning too. It's right on the main street, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants, and just a few blocks from the beach. Will definitely stay here again when we have more time to enjoy the town.

All the basics but missing on a few things. At $140 a night, I expect there to be hot water at 9am even on a Sunday. The roughest towels I've used outside of a gym. The bed feels like it has an air pillow in it because it feels like an air mattress—not my favorite. They may have a warranty issue because one half felt like it was collapsing (too soft)Switched to the other side and it was fine. Room 303.

Had our dog with us and found the room to be adequate for our stay. Nothing special but it fit our needs. We were on the ground floor and it was what we needed. We did not spend much time at the hotel but it was a good place to sleep and the beds were comfortable.

This place was well decorated and clean. The room was clean and it had full amenities. The bed was just wonderful! I just needed better water pressure and hotter water in the shower. The breakfast had a good selection, and the coffee was nice and strong.

We now have a new, New Year's tradition to uphold: The Best Western at Long Beach. Warm Comfortable bed and a great long driveable beach to explore. Many places to visit here and it's nice to have a clean warm room to have as a base. It's funny, but we always remember the hotels/motels that had terrible beds. This isn't the case here as I must say, this was perhaps the most comfortable bed we've experienced on the road. Friendly, professional staff that took good care of our needs. Clean room with good WiFi. Excellent free breakfast daily that didn't skimp. We really enjoyed our stay and will return again!

We have been staying at this hotel for nearly 20 years. After the Hollman family sold it, it went through a rough patch, as evidenced by some of the reviews. Now, in the hands of the Best Western brand, it has returned to its former quality and friendly, small town feel. The rooms are all comfortable, nicely appointed, and well air-conditioned/heated. The only change I'd make would be to have taller armoires that can accommodate longer coats, skirts, etc. (I realize that I may be the only one who would want this :)

Easy access, centrally located to shopping and adventures. Very comfortable for traveling with a dog and friendly staff. Beds are comfortable and made so tight u can bounce a quarter on them. AC unit is fairly quiet, they have security cameras in the main parking lot although we felt very safe.

Newly remodeled Best Western within walking distance to beach access (including boardwalk) and right in town for easy walking to shops, bakery, taverns, restaurants - all your favorite Long Beach stops! This was our first stay at this facility and we were pleasantly surprised by how clean and fresh everything was. The desk staff were very helpful and friendly. On-site internet access was fast and trouble free.

Felt the rooms were overpriced for the conditon of the rooms. Felt like a going back in time- rooms felt like a return to the 60's. Water in bathtoom came out brown when first turned on facet. Cleared up after letting it run for a few minutes.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and while it seems the best thing that comes out of this hotel is the food suggestions, the hotel itself leaves a little to be desired. The room itself was ok, the furniture was placed oddly for the shape of the room, and the toilet and tub seemed low, as if they were made for preschoolers.

It appeared to have been completely renovated recently as all furnishings and decor were in top condition. We chose this hotel for its location, it was pet friendly and it had good reviews. However, we found that it did not meet our expectations: the bed was too hard, the water pressure and temperature in the shower vacillated widely, and it wasn't particularly comfortable for two adults (only one comfortable chair). The breakfast was good although there were some issues with getting water and orange juice the first morning. I think our expectations might have been a little high based on other Best Westerns we've stayed at since this is their budget brand. The hotel had been updated about two years ago and was in good shape other than the issues noted above.

this hotel was close to all places to eat, right on the main street, the Thai restaurant is my fave, 3 blocks is a drive-in coffee hut, the hotel rooms were clean, at that time breakfast was served (love it), the best western allowed dogs, cookies were served daily, lobby friendly place to have coffee and chat away, gym was good accessible,

Queen ADA rm 109 with RI shower - close to Lobby with ADA parking at front door. Interior doors. Room is a little small for wheelchair. Bed is comfy, good height. ADA bath has safety bars (smooth) on 2 sides of shower, 2 at toilet. No soap shelf. Wheelchair-accessible sink. Request shower chair; there are 3 types including heavy-duty. Handheld shower spray adjusts well & stays in position. Moderate water temp is good at 11 on the clock. Good shower mat & good drain; curtain reaches floor & floor stayed pretty clear of water. Good tile; cane did not slip. 2 night stands, 1 rolling chair, short-shelf closet, good electric plugs, good A/C control. Breakfast has scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon alternating, potatoes. Helpful staff. Close to beach, which has a boardwalk for ADA ease in at least 1 beach access. Good ADA place for Long Beach!

We stayed two nights and enjoyed good sleep both nights. It is within walking distance of "downtown" and the beach boardwalk, several restaurants and shops so parked the car and got lots of exercise! Breakfast had a better than average assortment of items and a nice large eating area. The sink didn't drain well so that's why I only gave average for cleanliness; that should be checked for operation when preparing the room, in my opinion.

We visit Long Beach, WA because of it's clean beach, lots of sites for tourists, & good restaurants. The mile long boardwalk is great exercise while you enjoy looking at the beach. The small towns before & beyond Long Beach have lots of interesting things to see. Something different going on every week-end during the summer. Quiet in the winter if you don't like summer crowds. Cottage Bakery is excellent. Crab Pot has very fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Arcade & rides for the kids. Marsh's Museum is fun for all ages. Great place to visit.

The motel is a great location. Close to everything in Long Beach. We only stayed one night; had we stayed longer, I probably would have asked for another room. Our room had a very strong, unpleasant cleaning odor. Like really bad frebreeze had been sprayed all over. The bed smelled the worst and our clothes and pillowcases came home with that odor. We kept the window open the entire stay.

This is a nice little hotel in Long Beach. Although it isn't super close to the beach, we've stayed in hotels in this town that are and have been dissatisfied. Best Western was updated, comfortable, and the continental breakfast was great.

The Best Western in Long Beach is conveniently located within walking district of the shops on the main street in town. We had a spacious room with two queen beds, free Wi-Fi and great breakfast options. The hotel did not disappoint as it was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The walk to the beach is not far.

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western in Long Beach, WA last night. The hotel room was very comfortable and an easy walk to the beach and many restaurants. All went as expected until my husband took the car to his business meeting. He got back in the car two hours later to find that the battery was dead. I was still at the hotel and trying to figure out how to get to him to be there when AAA arrived since I am a member and he is not. No Uber was available and the one cab in town was not operating. When the gal manning the desk heard our problem, she offered to drive me and then she used her jumper cables to jump the battery since AAA didn't show up. I would have to say that she was a lifesaver today and what a great service she did for us while we were guests of Best Western. It is the only place to stay on our next trip to Long Beach!

Emergency Exits are not to be locked. The panic release mechanism did not work, so someone put a lock on the door to keep it shut. This would;d have kept people from leaving in an emergency. Had to ask Desk Clerk to unlock the door so we could leave the lobby. BW needs to get this fixed!! The room was clean and nice and the Breakfast was good. If they fix the Emergency Exit problem I would give them a Very Good rating.

My stay was very pleasant except I thought I paid too much for my dog. The breakfast offered a good variety and the food was kept at the right temperatures. Coffee and tea were always available. The location was fine for me but there is no view. Chocolate chip cookies were baked at night for an extra treat. Newspaper were available for free. Yes, it was a fun 3 night vacation but too expensive to do often if ever again.

WE experienced a death in the family and had to stay at this Best Western Hotel. The staff was sympathetic with our loss and offer their condolences. I have always had great experiences with the family of Best Western Hotels. I choose to stay with them when I travel.

This place was very, very noisy ... we could hear everything everyone else was doing. The fan in the bathroom was defeating, and you couldn't have the light on without it. The shower was also awful. -- the handle was loose and hard to control, and the water temp fluctuated constantly. The room was nice and large and breakfast was great; otherwise this place was terrible, especially for how expensive it was.

Was quoted a lower price months prior. Handicap room had no room to get a wheelchair or walker through. Very small! Beds seemed to have remedied old beds with a simple foam top.Price gouging for local event.

A hotel room is a hotel room, in this case they did it right. the internet connection worked fine and the always welcome free breakfast was okay. This is probably your best choice in Long Beach. It's close to everything and very predictable.

This Best Western in Long Beach, WA is well run and well kept. I was also here for two nights in January, and gave a review back then. My recent visit was during the annual kite festival that lasts a week in August, and the hotel was very busy. There was no problem checking in, and I was given a room an hour earlier than the 4 PM check in time. In January, there were five cars in the parking lot; in August, the lot was nearly full. I noticed no difference in the service.

The rooms have a very gym locker smell the mattress are worn out the water is luke warm and on pressure the food for breakfast is poor your better off going to am/pm gas station there people walking around the back of the hotel smoking and looking into the windows

My Mom and I stayed here on our first night of our Washington coast road trip up the coast. The front desk young woman was helpful, pleasant, and friendly. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. The included breakfast was ample with a good variety of cold and hot foods. The breakfast seating area was comfortable and clean. We were only here for one night, but we enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again if we are in the area. Note: you can hear the ocean surf a little from the hotel, but there are no direct ocean views (there are trees between the hotel and the beach)

Great location, hotel is very nice! Excellent breakfast and coffee and tea available all hours. Freshly baked cookies in the evening as well. Our room had a Queen size bed and was spacious with everything we needed. The only reason we aren't giving 5 stars is due to the price. Hope to stay here again next year when we attend the Painted Lady Belly Dance Festival in Ilwaco.

We were disappointed there was no view, but it was still a good location so we could walk to restaurants and to the beach. Staff did a great job with breakfast which is a great help when family is traveling on a budget.

Compared to other Best Westerns, this was not up to par. Breakfast choices were limited and hot items were cold. Toilets was not clean. Staff was helpful, however. Decent location. Not many other choices for hotels in the area however.

We had a nice stay at this hotel last year but this year we got the room that smelled like a wet dog. It was deep in the carpets and even in the bathroom and was really overpowering. The sheets on our beds were also stained. I have been around dogs most of my life but when you are paying as much as you do during peak season and trying to take a special family trip to the coast, we should be able to have a room that doesn't smell like 10 wet dogs slept in it the night before.

Made reservation at noon on 8-4-17, called at 6pm to inform I would be a late check in and ensure my reservation was good, was told everything was good and reservation was confirmed. Arrived at hotel at 11:30pm and was told my card had been declined(they had the completely wrong card info) and they had an incomplete phone number(supposedly missing last digit of card number) so they cancelled reservation and gave my room away. 0 other rooms available at any other hotel within 80 miles. was told there was nothing they could do for me.

Nice location centrally located in the middle of town and close to the beach. Very dog friendly property which was paramount to us. The staff was very friendly and helpful and loved that everything was within walking distance.

I always prefer to stay at Best Western when I travel because I can expect an updated, clean, comfortable room, and satisfying complimentary breakfast. My stay at the Best Western Long Beach Inn met my expectatations and then some. I am very impressed with the staff of the Best Western Long Beach Inn. They have a great team, comprised of individuals with excellent customer service, positive attitudes, and care for one another. Great job, guys. Clean hotel handy to downtown. Not far to beach. It was very high priced. Don't know if that was due to Art Activities going on in town. We were just stopping in for night and were tired but normally would not pay that much. They did recommend a place for dinner which had really good seafood.

We drove nearly four hours and arrived very tired. We checked into a Dog Friendly Room. The place was perfectly clean and fresh! We walked the beach and explored the town. We asked a few questions and the staff people were friendly and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed two wonderful breakfasts. This place was perfectly located...easy to see the entire town on foot and just a seven minute walk to the beach. Being able to bring our dog made this trip exceptional!!

I was travelling for. The hotel and staff were dinner but I was unable to access Internet with my work computer which hindered me in doing my job. The phone number given to me for contacting the internet service department connected me to a person who didn't have the ability to solve my problem. Sheer promised me a call back from the tech department and that can back never came.

I typically stay at Best Westerns when I can and usually am not disappointed. this Best Western was a big disappointment in that it was very expensive for a best western, the checkin time was 4 pm which was very late, and the hot cooked breakfast was inedible. In addition when I went to check out there was a sign at the front desk saying no one was available. I saw this sign frequently during my stay. I didn't have time to wait for an employee so Ieft my room card with a note requesting that they email me a receipt. express check out was not offered. I cant remember if I have ever left a negative review for best western. I think this is the first time.

This is the first time I have felt booking through hotels.com gave us a disappointing room. I felt like we where put in the basement out the way. As that was what we paid for. ( we where on floor one by the storage rooms lol. ). The room was fine. It was a fleeting visit. Just an overnight stop. Been in best westerns before and felt this wasn't the best. Breakfast was good and the staff at breakfast worked hard to keep on top of everything

The hotel is newly renovated so everything is very new. The location is excellent as it is very close to the beach. The room is quiet. The bed is a bit soft but may be my personal preference only. The water pressure in the bath room is good. The breakfast has lots of variety.

Good Location, good quality, modern feel. Great Comfort for the price. Close to the beach and lots of shops, restaurants and entertainment within easy walking distance. One thing that would make it better is if it were right on the beach.

We stayed here on the 5th and 6th of July. I understand that they were booked solid over the 4th of July, but over the the last night they had a family with two kids above us on the top floor that ran and jumped until after eleven pm and up before six am. The breakfast was not worth eating. They had pastries in packages and the sausages were brown and serve. also, the fake eggs were cold.

Busy weekend; staff pleasant but room had many problems and for the cost of over $200 a night-very poor value. BR Vent & Light go on together, so can't talk to anyone in room or hear the TV-also ventilation did not seem to work on top of the inconvenience; one light out on arrival, another with a problem in function; Overall, not a user friendly room-it was a Handicap accessible room-needed more attention to the detail of improving the little things. Likely will not stay at this hotel in this location again.

We have stayed at Best Western properties all over and usually have very good experiences but this stay in Long Beach was different. There was a terrible mosquito problem inside of the property and we all got eaten alive. The rooms were tiny and overpriced even for a coastal town. The options at breakfast were pretty limited and the staff was rarely around to help when needed. Sorry but we wouldn't recommend this property.

Nice clean rooms. Modern décor with great lighting and plenty of power outlets for cell phone chargers, CPAP machines, etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Bob, at the front desk for check-in was especially friendly and gave us a great welcome. Really enjoyed this place and will return.

We really liked the colors of the decor at this hotel and the location was great. However, you could see the bed was literally sagging in the middle from across the room. They desperately need to replace their mattresses. Paid $99/night plus tax.

Great place to stay. Continental breakfast is awesome. Close enough to walk, shop & eat downtown. Enjoy the beach. Or drive because you must eat at Lost Roo; great flank steak and the Guinness gravy is to due for.

The hotel is located conveniently - close to the beach and downtown. All activities like bike rentals, museum, shops, dining are walking distance. Car parking is free and spacious. Noise is close to zero even though it is right next to the hub-bub. Great for family with kids and otherwise.

The address listed is on the back side of the building while the entrance is on the main road. The place is clean and modern. Our room was spacious enough for one night. The bed was king size and comfortable. The hallway is loud so dont expect to sleep in. The shower must be hooked up to a centralized system as my morning shower wasnt as hot as the previous night. The breakfast area was nicely laid out and had a few food options that other places don't have. A positive experience. Bonus: it's a very short walk to Jake!

new remodel, looks great. Rooms a little on the small size for a b Best Western; we had a 2 queen room. Bed was too soft for both of us. Good area to walk the dog out back. Breakfast was so so, we visited the local bakery and it was great.

This is located in a small town so not a lot of hotel options. It is a nice enough place but nothing fancy. Easy to walk to everything in town. I would recommend but just know the price is not worth it.

Decent stay, clean with breakfast and internet. No extra for parking. Helpful staff. Close to restaurants and activies. The hotel is right in middle of the small tourist town. The beach is very close, only a short walk.

We frequently visit the Longbeach Penninsula and have stayed at several different facilities. The Longbeach Best Western is light years ahead of the competition. The room was well appointed but compact. The breakfast served was excellent and there are certainly enough choices to satisfy anyone. Pet friendly with reasonable pet rates. Very pleased with this stay and we will be back.

Great place to stay. Our room was nice size, light and airy. Plenty of lighting, clean and comfortable beds. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice, affordable place to stay. While your in Long Beach be sure visit the Kite Museum. The admission price is minimal the experience is great, informative and fun. A must see!

Right in the center of the town of Long Beach is a perfect place to stay for a day of walking along the sand, enjoying the longest sandy beach in Washington state. The Best Western is reasonably priced and very comfortable. The staff are knowledgeable about local restaurants and attractions.

Weekend outing for the family was very fun in Long Beach! The stay at the Best Western was very nice. Extra clean and modern! Rooms on the small side but we didn't spend much time in it. There is so much hiking and things to see around the area it was pretty much a very nice crash pad!

This hotel is wonderful, great breakfast, decent gym, wonderful staff. My mother and I stayed here last night, and this morning there was a storm. The power went out during breakfast time, and most everyone handled it just fine. However, one guest came down and started making his snide comments, complaining about everything loud enough for everyone to hear him. I wanted to say something to him because he was being so rude. Kayloni Johnson was working (I hope I got the name right), and she was very kind and patient with this unreasonable guest. Thank you for your wonderful customer service!

We've stayed here quite a few times over the past years. When Best Western took over it was updated & has a very inviting appearance. The breakfast area is very clean. It's nice to be able to have your breakfast & linger to visit. Very relaxing. We will be staying there again & I would recommend it to everyone.

Beautiful place to stay. Our room was huge. Had a great view. Great amenities. Located along the strip so everything was in walking distance so we didn't have to worry about movie g the car and finding a place to park.

This hotel has been completely renovated. Very nice lobby, guest rooms and continental breakfast. Bed a little soft for my comfort but overall good value for the area. Location right downtown Long Beach, great for walking to businesses and beach.

We had occasion to make an out-of-season visit to Long Beach WA stayed at the Best Western on Pacific Ave. It's location is ideal for strolling up Long Beach's main street to sample all it's shops and restaurants. The motel staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was the standard BW fare and was nicely arranged in a roomy area adjacent to an equally roomy seating area. The motel's wifi was fast and reliable. The motel has a convenient elevator a few steps from the reception desk.

It was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend it to family & friends. The bed was way too soft for me, but didn't take away from the quality of our stay.Yes, I would stay at this hotel again if ever the opportunity arises. Next time I will use the fitness facility.

This was our first time at this BW location. It was very clean and well kept, inside and out. We had a King size bed with a small living area which included a couch, table, chairs. Would definitely stay here again. The staff were super. They all were very polite, courteous, professional and accommodating. They helped make this a wonderful visit.

The hotel was a great price and conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The room was nice and the breakfast was good with hot items such as eggs and sausage included. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is recently remodeled. The lobby looks great. All of the hotel staff was very nice. Had seen other complaints of the rooms smelling like dog however we did not have that issue at all. Stayed on the second floor and room smelled clean and could also open the windows to let fresh air in. Walking distance to all of the little shops and restaurants.

Very nice, clean room. Very comfortable queen bed. Internet service had a great connection! Breakfast was yummy with lots of variety of breakfast food. (Also, I saw several people at the hotel who had small dogs, and the staff was very friendly to them.)

Would stay here again if in the area. Other than the room missing a refrigerator as it was broken. The room was good the area was central to what we needed. The staff gave a good tip on where to eat dinner

This hotel was fine. Average, has buffet breakfast of waffles, sausages, potatoes and omelettes. If was nice and had soft beds, instead of the hard ones we usually find. They allow pets, which was a huge plus. But online stated they had ocean views, which was not the case at all. Oh yea, right after we walked in, I found short, curly, black hairs on the tub edge... a bit gross!

I had personal business in Longbeach and had never been there before. I found the Hotel to be very accommodating, the employees where happy and helpful. It was centrally located and easy to find. Also within walking distance to the beach. I am a runner and had one of the best runs of my life on the beach.

I work for Washington state and I make reservations throughout the state for my crew members, I called to make four reservations front desk said they would call back twice that day, no callback I called the next day and asked if they were able to get those confirmations, this was a polite call front desk once again said they would call back. no call back so I found another motel and no problems. I try to stay at B W when I can, very impressed by there professional people and there motels this was the first time in over 20yrs of calling motels that they called my supervisor (long beach B W ) and said my altitude was not to there liking ???????

A little disappointment when arrived from a long road trip to find out your reserved room was not ready at check-in time and the elevator was broken with a promised statement that it will be fixed in few hours! After check-out day, the elevator still not working.

We had an overnight stay for our cruise vacation. It was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast was good. The shuttle driver Martin gave great advice about the area attractions. The fact that the hotel had shuttle service for airport and cruise port was definitely a money saver.

This hotel is getting 4 stars despite my experience with the front desk because everything else was great. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious, and a great value. Parking was plentiful. Amenities in-room included reliable and free wifi, quiet AC, a flat-screen tv, microwave, and mini-fridge. The location is walking distance to the beach! The housekeeping and food service staff were friendly and courteous, and the included breakfast was delicious! It included quite a wide variety of hot and cold foods, even a waffle maker! However, access to the front desk was atrocious. We arrived at 4pm and there was no one at the front desk. No bell to ring. Nothing. We just stood there waiting to check-in for about 5 minutes when a housekeeper saw us and said he would go find the attendant. He checked on us 5 minutes later and she still wasn't there. So he tried again. Finally, she showed up saying she "really needed coffee" and "sorry for inconvenience". In the room, there was no phone number for the front desk, and no instructions for how to contact housekeeping. When it was time to check out, we arrived at the front desk at precisely 10:59AM. We hurriedly packed so that we would be on time to check out before 11AM...but the attendant was MIA once again. So we stood there waiting at an empty desk AGAIN for her to show up and let us pay and check out. Not a great way to begin or end the stay! However, overall, the rest of the hotel experience was quite pleasant. If we visit Long Beach again, we may give the Best Western a second chance to improve their service.

The hotel was newly renovated so the rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was better than others we have had at Best Westerns with a good selection of different options. It was nice the hotel was an easy walk to the main part of Long Beach with all of the different shops and then an easy bike ride to the Discovery Trail.

We stayed for 3 nights with our 2 small grand kids. They did not clean our room the entire stay. We had to collect our own towels and toilet paper from the front desk and take out our own garbage. They told us they were having trouble with new staff. Hopefully they get this figured out for future guests. On the last night the front desk attendant was trying to call a housekeeper back but was not having any luck. Even if they were successful what are we supposed to do with a 3 year old and 7 year old at 8pm while they clean our room?

Good value, clean and comfortable. The staff was all in training, so hard to complain about the sketchy desk service. But, they were trying. When you arrive, just look for a large blue building, as there is absolutely nothing to identify it, not even a street number. Perhaps this will jog them to get on the ball.

This place is located in the heart of Downtown Long beach which is why I gave it a 5 star location rating. It's perfect for Familes/little ones and what not as they have a Funland place and also a few small rides. The restaurants and beach are a very short walking distance. The front desk gal Hannah was awesome, she went out of her way to personally deliver fresh warm cookies and chocolate milk to our room when we had come back that evening and she told us to help ourselves to some cookies from around the corner and they were all gone. however if your looking for even a little peace and quiet I would go somewhere else. The guests like to slam their doors and a 4:00am wake up call and loud talking was not so special in our opinion. I assume it was maybe fishing time. The bed was a little on the uncomfortable side, but we like a really firm mattress so that is just personal preference. I would recommend checking the towels however as one of ours was stained. Another bummer was that they were having problems with the free Wifi. All in all it was a good stay and the town is very friendly. I would recommend the Castaway's Restaurant for a great meal, they have the best clam chowder I have tasted..and I have tasted plenty. As stated above this hotel is great for Family fun, however we will most likely find another Hotel or B&B where it is a little quieter.

This hotel was recently renovated and therefore everything was relatively new or refreshed in appearance. The king sized bed in which we slept was very comfortable. The room reflected that this was just a standard BW Hotel. The room service was inadequate in that very little was done by staff while were out of the room. The breakfast that was provided was better than other BW we have been at, but still at best only adequate. Just so that you know, this hotel does not have a pool or hot tub.

Not your typical Best Western property. I don't recommend this hotel. If you are looking for the BW name and experience, the drive across the river to Astoria Lincoln Inn is well worth the extra time. My wife and I were very disappointed with this property. It was filthy, the staff did not seem to value me as a customer, the breakfast horrific and the just an overall poor experience. I spend about 20 nights a year in hotels in the NW and this one failed to meet any of my expectations for a BW property.

Easy access, in the middle of town, clean room, comfy beds, great pillows, air conditioning (which a lot of hotel's in Long Beach don't have), adequate breakfast, more choices than most, but the best was the customer service. Started off with Lana getting me help with a special room request, manager Lindsay making that happen and finally Hanna giving us her clam chowder so we didn't have to go out late to eat. What more can you ask for?!! Will definitely stay again. Thank you so much ladies for making our stay so pleasant.

I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent customer service, clean rooms with a good breakfast. Small indoor pool, excerise room and laundry room. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate available in the lobby 24/7.

Everything was great! Amazing price difference between Long Beach and Astoria, almost $100 cheaper. Came up to the Northern OR coast for the light houses and found out it was much cheaper to stay in Washington. We hit the light houses on the north side of the Columbia and then back south into OR.

We stayed here one night; the room was clean and the new manager was fantastic! Shes a keeper for sure.......they had a great early menu downstairs for free and good coffee. We would stay here again. thank you!

The hotel is just renovated recently. Everything there is very new. It will be nice if there is swimming pool and spa but the Long Beach is just few minutes walk away. The bed is a bit solf but it may be just my own personal preference .

The staff at the hotel is so sweet and friendly. At check in our room was a bit dusty and dirty. There was a dirty diaper in the bathroom trash along with some uneaten fruit. Luckily the next day the cleaning crew took care of it and seemed to clean the room a bit better. The window was also a bit dusty when we moved the curtains..so we didn't do that again! The breakfast was okay. Although they heated the eggs up in plastic bags and dumped them into the metal serving pans. That was a bit concerning. It is very conveniently located though and the staff again was so nice.

Super friendly staff. Very helpful and customer service driven. The ladies at the front desk always had smiles and would strike up conversation. Great attitudes! The lady who prepared breakfast was a super as well. Very friendly and hardworking.

The reservations process was smooth and friendly. The check-in was not. The woman at the front desk told us that the room we were booked into did not exist. The other woman at the front desk corrected that problem and we got the room we booked. The service from all of the staff was great except for the one woman at the front desk who also checked us out of our room while we were still in the middle of our stay. Someone came into the room to inspect it, thinking we had checked out!! There are still some kinks to iron out at this hotel, but overall it has been remodeled nicely and most of the staff is highly professional. The tub didn't drain and the elevator was really loud, but the bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was good.

The check in went well, when we got to our rooms we found them to be somewhat small. If I sat at the desk working on my computer no one could get by me. Not used to a BW being quit so small. The room was nice and the beds comfortable. The hotel is small but certainly adequate, close to all the town activites. .

The room was much smaller than most BW. the room had very little room to sit at the desk then try to get by anyone sitting there. No couch or a place to sit except the bed. There was a small table with two chairs and a lamp taking up most of the room on the table. Breakfast was average. Nicer hotel for less money to stay in.

I was very pleased with Bestwestern in Long Beach, wa. It was updated and extremely clean. The colors were very inviting. The lady who checked us in was more then accommodating she made you feel welcome right away. Their breakfast area was spotless and stocked. We will definitely be returning!

Just in town for one night and wish it could have been longer! I was so impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of Patricia, who checked me in. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at how new and updated the entire hotel was. I stay in a lot of BW's when traveling and this was one of the nicest ones. I only interacted with a couple of other staff members and they were also great. The fitness room was perfect. I will definitely be coming back!

This property is very nice, clean and comfortable with many nearby places to eat , shop or whatever else you, might like to do to kick back nd relax and enjoy the beaches nearby. The breakfast was also very good and a pleasant surprise on this trip. We've been on the road of three weeks and this place was a welcome after some of the other places we've stayed in.

Very few rooms were available. We told them we could deal with a Queen Handicap Room, but only if it wasn't needed. The room was satisfactory, nothing special. It would have been nice to have an easy chair in the room. Other than the small size of the room it satisfied our need for one night. You are within walking distance of many activities available in Long Beach. We used the large comfortable lobby to visit with friends. The Breakfast area was better than most. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Greeted everyone as a special guest.

This is an outstanding facility with all new decor in the charming downtown. Restaurants, the beach, and an old-fashioned carousel are within easy walking distance. The staff is exceptionally attentive and cordial. The hotel is great for couples and families.

Felt welcome from the minute we entered the hotel. Hanna at the front desk made us feel at home, very friendly and provided answers to all our many questions. The building just went through a major renovation and the interior designer did a fantastic job. Beds were very comfortable and the room size was amazing. Fantastic value.

Great location and a brand new place. One of the best breakfast buffets I have had anywhere. Just half a block off the main "strip" . Check in a little slow but maybe because our confirmation said 3PM check in and the sign on the counter said 4pm. Will definitely go back again

i cannot adequately portray my experience in words. the rooms were a little cramped, but the service outside of that surpassed that confinement. I would definitely stay there again as the staff exceeded my expectations.

From check in to check out the staff was a solid 10 ! Lois the breakfast attendant was very personable with guests chatting with, and helping were needed. The breakfast was impressive and had something for everyone, even the 12yr old in our party! I would not hesitate to stay again for much longer than just a night. The location...you are right in the middle of town...walk to everything...You'll love it!

The staff is wonderful. They go out of their way to help . the hotel is clean and nicely furnished. It is also very quiet. the location is central to the downtown area of Long Beach. Everything is within walking distance.

I knew at my arrival that this was not the Best Western that I have been accustomed to staying. There was a dog leaving that had been behind the counter as well as numerous dogs in the lobby area. The desk clerk could not process my rewards certificate and became rude when we asked questioned concerning the availability of other rooms. The problem with the certificate was resolved the next morning however this Best Western was just short of standards expected.

Flawless experience with this property from checkin to checkout. Great location within walking distance to nearly everything we wanted to do. Appreciated that they welcomed our well behaved dog on their property yet our room and public areas were fresh and clean without any sign of previous pets. We will definitely book here again.

This hotel is very modern and clean. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Great location in the center of Long Beach with all the restaurants and shopping. It's still a great place to stay even without the pool or ocean view. Staff is very friendly. Will definitely come back again.

We were impressed - and surprised - by how nice this hotel was remodeled and the friendly way we were greeted when checking in. It still has vibes of its Super 8 past including very narrow hallways and doors that are grouped together. When one slams shut, you can hear and feel it rattle the whole floor from inside your room! That said, the 3rd floor king suite we stayed in was extremely clean and spacious with lovely blue and green décor. Well worth the extra $$ per night. It had a convenient wet bar, huge screen TV and a couch, ottoman, but very uncomfortable chair. The beds are amazingly plush and comfortable; clearly a superior product and we slept like babies! We were on the back side where there's an arterial road; sometimes used a lot by delivery trucks and other vehicles, other times it's pretty quiet. The location, central and just off the main road, couldn't be better for access to the beach, downtown, restaurants and the boardwalk. It is a GREAT thing to have A/C at the coast even on cooler days and it worked very well. Tip: don't stay in a hotel without one if you're near the water as it gets stuffy and humid quickly. The breakfast had lots of good choices including hot items. It would be hard to complain about the all you can eat selection, nice tables and chairs, and a fireplace w/TV to watch as you have your meal in an open setting. Best Western could be more aggressive about adopting "Green" water practices, like putting out signage so guests can decide to re-use towels and sheets, etc. or forgo housekeeping. We had interaction with several staff and found them to be immensely helpful, courteous and eager to make our stay a pleasant one.

Staff needs to be trained on how to use computer system and what to do when a smoke alarm goes off in the middle of the night. Dog poop in the elevator for multiple days. even though the staff was under trained, they were very nice and polite.

I was very impressed with this hotel. Their recent remodel was beautiful and the hotel was very clean! The female agent at check in on Friday night 6/10 was lovely! We stayed in the suite on the third floor and loved the room's layout and how spacious it was. Didn't hear much from our neighbors which was nice. It's an excellent location, good parking, and good breakfast. I've been born/raised WA and this was my first trip to Long Beach, I've always gone to Ocean Shores, and I definitely enjoyed seeing new sites. Great birthday weekend indeed!

This is my first stay since remodel and change to Best Western. They did a great job and the lobby looks modern and inviting. The bed is fantastic which will bring me back. Super nice HD TV with great cable. Kudos for everything on the upgrade EXCEPT....What is with the broken down plumbing fixture in the shower???? About to fall off the wall and the drain was clogged. So a cold shower that keeps your ankles chilled!!!! Staff was great and got me key to room next door to shower. But with the attention to detail made for the rest of the remodel made this issue stand out.

Very clean and comfortable. I only stayed one night but, if I was to stay there again, I highly recommend this hotel. I am a Hotel Impossible fan and the room passed my inspection that I learned from the show.

We were really pleased with the location of the hotel, and the price was unbeatable! The room was very well laid out, clean and spacious. The hotel staff were really helpful. The breakfast room was great too. No complaints at all!

We stayed here on a Saturday night. The best thing about this hotel is the location. If you've come to Long Beach to walk to all the shops, this hotel is right in the middle of them all. We've been to Long Beach many times, and remember when this was the Super 8. It has been remodeled since those times but it's a safe bet they didn't break the bank to do it. It's still a Super 8 with up-graded fixtures to make it look classier. The mattresses in the room we had were well worn and super soft, both my wife and I had sore backs in the morning after tossing and turning all night. No matter how low you set the A/C, it will only cool the room to about 75 degrees. Both the sink and shower fixtures were backwards. If you wanted Hot, turn it to cold! The breakfast was just O.K. The variety was decent for a "free breakfast", but at $197.00 a night I don't think it was free. Although it was more like a Free-for-all when trying to get to any of it. In my day, parents didn't let their children run around like a bunch of wild....native Americans.

Loved everything about our stay the room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and very inviting. Will be coming back soon. All family and friends will be told about our stay.

The staff was fantastic, quick at check in and check out. Breakfast wasn't bad. I eat my own food ~ special diet. However, I would've been happy with what was served. I prefer on the beach however this hotel was a good location within walking distance of everything!! LOVED IT!!

The staff were very helpful! Even making sure there were more cookies ready when we came back from dinner. They were also great at helping us set up next year's reservation. Very patient and pleasant. We were also impressed with the very friendly, pleasant lady servicing the breakfast area. She kept everything resupplied and fresh. Great hot breakfast! Due to our experience at Best Western, we went ahead and booked our room for next year's Longest Garage Sale on Memorial Day Week-end. We have stayed somewhere else in the past but no need to look further. We have found our hotel. Keep up the good work!!

We met family in Long Beach WA and all stayed at the Best Western. All very impressed with the cleanliness, décor and rooms. The staff was so helpful and so friendly. We traveled with our two young kids and although there is no pool, the ocean is very close and so if the town of Long Beach where there is a fun center, arcade, games, etc.so really no need for a pool. The complimentary breakfast is really good. Our kids loved making their own waffles and all of us were surprised by how wide of selection they provided. The hotel was quiet, clean and very well cared for.

I understand the property has been recently converted from a hotel of another brand. The rooms have been updated and freshly appointed with new furniture. However, and unfortunately, the "bones" are the same. To be specific, the room with one queen-size bed was very generous for two but the bathroom in our room had far too little counter space. The hotel is nicely located within walking distance to shops, stores, and fine restaurants. The beach is close but it's a walk.

I appreciate the staff/employees of Long Beach Inn. I didn't have trouble checking in and checking out. We arrived early at the place and we get an early checked in. Breakfast is good. I consider coming back again in this nice hotel!

The staff was amazing. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of town. Which made it easy to walk to what ever we wanted to do. It was a five minute drive to the charter service. Summer time may be different, but on Wednesdays, the town seems to be shut down. The local people were friendly and we got good service anywhere we went.

The rooms are fresh, comfortable and well appointed. The staff over the top helpful and caring. This is the place to stay along the Washington coast. A gem of a place, peaceful, quiet and very affordable. I will be back! often!

We are definitely a fan of this place. Evidently it had recently been remodeled. Everything was super clean and super nice. Staff was wonderful. The bed was wonderful. The hotel is located in the center of town. It's an easy walk to just about any place in Long Beach including the beach. A full breakfast is served and even it was great. On our next trip to Long Beach we will definitely be staying here !

It is not always how nice the rooms are or your view, but it is how you are treated! We had the best experience here. The rooms were so nice and cute decor. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and had the breakfast left out later than the time said on the paper. The people there went above and beyond to ask questions and make sure we had a great stay. The rooms were fully stocked and the ocean is just walking distance behind the building.

The hotel staff is very nice and the room was exceptional, i would definately recommend anyone visiting long beach to visit this hotel. There is a nice pool and pleanty of places to eat within walking distance.

Clean and pet friendly. No pet odor at all. Very handy location. The breakfast is awesome. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are airy. We really like the pet friendly attitude and that you can't tell other pets have been there. Did I mention the awesome breakfast?

Posted Apr 28, 2016 Pros: The staff, very clean and well kept, close to the beach and restaurant's and shopping virtually 2 minutes from the hotel! Right downtown where all the restaurants and shopping are. Also just a short walk to the beach. Ideal! It exceeded my expectations by a long shot. I had my dog Ollie with me and I was so pleased how pet friendly they all were. Our room was very clean and well cared for. The staff was wonderful and our breakfast was really good. Lois that does the cooking and serving at breakfast makes you feel right at home. Breakfast end time is 9am and Lois told me she keeps on cooking until everyone is fed. That was so nice as I really am not one for eating early. The food was very good and a lot to choose from. You don't feel like you're staying in a hotel. It feels like home! Cons: When we left the hotel we checked out with the front desk. We were not given a respite of our final bill. I checked my credit card when we got home and found an additional charge for $127.62, I called up and talked to Kristina who said $ 25.00 was for our pet, even though their internet ad said $ 15.00 for pets. She then said there was a $ 100.00 charge because we had been smoking in the room. I had been smoking in the parking but used a cup to put my butts in so they wouldn't have to clean my mess. The maid found the cup and reported that we were smoking in the room. When I called about the charges to Kristina who was very nice and understood, said she would remove the charge. It took 8 days for this charge to be removed. Many thanks to Kristina, Jessica and Linzie, we will be seeing you again soon.

We last stayed at this lodging in August of 2015, when it was in transition from its former owner and name to become one of the Best Western chain. At the time we gave it three stars and said it had a great location but still had a long way to go to warrant a higher rating of four stars, because of the outdated decor, the "charge whatever you think you can get" frame of mind by the people at thefront desk, and the very skimpy breakfast. The remodeling was in full swing while we were there, with signs of consturction all over the place. Now the major remodeling is done and sthe transformation from a semi-ugly ducking to a swan has been completed and the results are very, very good. The decor is now modern and muted with greens and blues and whites -- very beachy and just right for a beach town. On the down side, the rooms are still on the smaller side, as they were before, and the bathrooms are just a little bigger than tiny, but at least the rooms look a lot nicer, lighter and brighter and our king size bed was just fine - not too soft, not too firm. Keep in mind that although you are only a couple of blocks from the beach, there is no view for those rooms on the beach side because of a wooded lot right across the street from the motel. If you are willing to spring for much more to get a king bed suite instead of just a motel room, those are on the third (top) floor on the north side and those do have a little distant view of the beach and the ocean. Otherwise, you either get a parking lot view or a view of the street and trees. But one of the biggest upgrades is in their now full breakfast as compared with their skimpy continental breakfasts of the past. Now you not only get the usual cereals, hot and cold, plus the usual individually wrapped danish, but the popular waffle maker, plus very good scrambled eggs, juicy and spicy link sausage, and browned chunky potatoes, along with regular coffee, and a very good, rich decaf coffee, plus orange and apple juices, two or three kinds of bread for toasting, etc. A very big improvement. And, of course, they still have the middle of town great location, which is also just about three blocks from the sandy beach. They have done a very nice job of upgrading and updating the former property, and are now deserving of four stars and a "very good" rating.

I was so pleased with what Best Western has done to this hotel. It is beautiful and all the updates were such an improvement from Super 8. The rooms are updated, lobby is sensational. Price was within my budget. This hotel is located in the middle of Long Beach so you can walk anywhere.

Hotel has been remodeled and was very stylish and comfortable. Great location near everything. We were able to walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and breakfast was great.

Arrived late, but the front staff was very quick in getting me setup with my room key. Location is great. Breakfast choices were outstanding. Room was extraordinarily clean. Will stay there again. Would like to use this as a base for a vacation trip someday.

Very nice remodel. Kristina and staff very professional and friendly. Love the A/C in room. The added Items to the complementary breakfast was a big hit. Now has full breakfast. 24 hour coffee was very good. Could lower the rates for Local events too much for my budget.

Our first trip to Long Beach in years. This Best Western was delightful, staff was so friendly. The mid-century modern interior and furnishings give it a wonderful vibe. We're already looking at our calendar to figure out when we can return! The mattress was a bit soft for my back, but I think most people would find it just right. Super quiet, too!

Went for the Clam Festival. Everything was clean and tidy looking all the time. Was able to get my booking 4 days before arrival. Which was super! Would recommend and would stay there again. The staff were very courteous and friendly at all times.

Wonderful hotel! Recently re-modeled so everything still nice and new. Few glitches still being worked out. Staff (Jessica and Hannah) are on top of things and were exceptionally accommodating for our needs. Warm cookies in the evening! Very decent breakfast in the mornings, enough to satisfy your needs to get going. Room was not cleaned the next day; we had the 'do not disturb' sign out while we had breakfast, but took it down when we left for the morning of razor clamming. Went back out for the day, room was not done. We endured. Unable to print in the business center due to glitches. Remote control needed adjustments as well. Other than that, a very wonderful place to stay. I would do so again.

Wonderful room. Had to call front desk several times as the sinks were backed up than we found out the couch didn't have any linen on it. No biggie though. Very helpful staff and the fresh chocolate chip cookies were delicious.

Hotel property was very well maintained, as if just remodeled. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. The only exception to a great stay was the check in process and preoccupation of the staff and the lack of attentiveness to the guests. This definitely set the wrong tone for our stay. The only other complaint was that there was popcorn under and around the bed, when we arrived in the room.

We stayed here for 2 nights for a pleasure trip in the off season. We really enjoyed that this hotel was right in the middle of the shops and restaurants and also very close to the beach. We were able to bring our dog and we had our kids. There was some trouble with a noisy neighbor late at night but the evening clerk promptly handled it, persisting until the guests responded which we greatly appreciated! We had no problems with regular noise, just a very loud movie. Space in the rooms with 2 queens is very limited, but they do a good job with the space you do have.

My girlfriend and I stayed here over the weekend, and absolutely loved it. The rooms and lobby felt very trendy and new. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. Fresh cookies they serve every night were delicious. We are planning on staying here every time we come back.

This hotel is brand new - everything has just been renovated. The property felt clean, modern, and just has a great energy about it. Rooms were very spacious, beds extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Location is perfect, situated very close to a great stretch of beach. We drove out onto the beach the next morning during low tide to watch the locals dig for razor clams. Breakfast was a blur because the hotel was so busy. The hotel had one staffer, Lois, running the entire breakfast operation and she was simply the best. We recognized her effort with a tip, and she said that she loves to serve people. The front desk staff was equally as friendly and helpful, and they called us to confirm our arrival since we were coming in late. This place is a MUST STAY if you are visiting or passing through Long Beach.

We had a fantastic warm welcome on arrival and the reception staff explained the hotel's amenities to us including freshly baked cookies in the evening and hot breakfast. The room was very nicely decorated and looked brand new. Beds were lovely and comfortable too. The only niggles I had was the room was unbearably hot even with the a/c going. Also there were no cookies available when I went down to reception before bed which was disappointing also when we got down to breakfast a full hour before its scheduled closing time there were no breakfast meats left just dry scrambled eggs and the normal breads/pastries etc. The hotel is lovely and I am sure these niggles will be ironed out in due course. I would recommend it for anyone staying in long beach.

We had an enjoyable stay at The Best Western Long Beach. The staff was very nice, even the housekeeping staff was friendly. We will for sure return. The only less than perfect thing was trying to get breakfast. There needs to be silverware and plates at both ends of the breakfast bar.

I enjoyed a one-night weekend stay while in town for an event. As others have said, it is a freshly updated property. I found the staff to be friendly, accommodating, professional, and personable. The room (mine was centrally located on the top floor) was spacious and nicely appointed in a manner consistent with mid-range hotels/motels. The only two areas I felt were shortcomings in the room were the size of the easy chair and the bathroom countertop. The chair was almost small enough to be labeled uncomfortable. I was glad there was a nice footstool, otherwise the chair would have been not to my liking. The bathroom countertop wasn't. It was merely a sink set in a surround, with virtually no room to set a Dopp kit/shaving bag, or much of anything. And when you did set something, best be careful not to knock it into the sink or off into/onto the toilet. The hotel is nicely central to the main tourist area of downtown Long Beach. The shops, restaurants, and not-to-be-missed bakery are all within easy walking distance, as is the beach, itself. There is, however, no view of the beach from the hotel. This is not a problem, just something folk should be aware of when booking. My room was on the top floor, west facing, and the only view there is of a city street and the trees and underbrush that have overtaken the dunes area between the city and the beach.

Stayed one night in this hotel and liked it. Recently remodeled with nice interiors, comfortable bed, great staff and right in the middle of town. While there is no view of the beach, the beach is only a couple blocks away and walkable. Breakfast includes waffles, hot eggs, bacon and sausage, bagels, toast, cereal and more!

I was supposed to check in yesterday. I made reservations on a popular 3rd party website many weeks in advance. When making the reservation, the web site indicated pets were allowed for a 15 dollar per night fee. The best western website said, and this is a direct quote, "pets are always welcome for an additional fee". Nothing was said about contacting the hotel in advance, which, if you book a lot of pet rooms (like I do) is important to note. Properties that have a limited number of rooms make these requests. This property did not. I decided to contact the hotel anyway. I wanted to give them a heads up as a courtesy. Kristina answered the phone and at first I gave her my partners name to find the reservation. Nope. That names note here. I then gave her mine and she found it. Great. Vey quickly afterwards she said "we do not have any pet rooms with a single queen"... Ok... Well what are my options. "You could cancel your reservation and rebook". Okay... Is there any way I can just pay an upgrade instead of going through the trouble? "No." Okay can you confirm that a room will be available if I do this? "Sure, one moment - actually we are all out of pet rooms for the night." This is when I asked Kristina what the "always" means on the website. She said pet "Are always welcome... in the designated pet rooms...". The website should say that instead of always.... ALWAYS is a defined word. It means something. So we went back and fourth, Kristina's voice getting increasingly condescending about how this is my fault for not calling earlier, how they (bw) can't guarantee anything from a third party, and that there is nothing that can be done. It was very obvious in her tone that I was an inconvenience and was not wanted (I can take a hint). Okay. Well can I have a full refund then? "Yes just call (third party), they will call me, and I mill authorize a full refund". Great. I was being really inconvenienced, and treated poorly, was made to feel like a child but that's fine. I can get a refund and find a nicer place. I mentioned how I'm would be writing a review of the experience and that I felt like this situation could have been avoided if they were more honest in their pet policy. I was not very happy by the end of the call. So I call the third party and explain everything. While I'm waiting on the line, while they called the hotel regarding the refund, it hits me. Maybe Kristina does not like gay people? First the room I booked wasn't pet friendly, then none of them were available, her tone towards me was very rude after I had given her two names of the same gender... No no no that can't be. The customer service rep comes back on the line. He said the hotel is only willing to offer a full refund if I promise not to write a review (I have this recorded, the third party has one of those "your call may be monitored" messages which gives consent). What??? That is blackmail. I am not ageeeing to that. I had a bad experience.... Possible false advertising.... Possible discrimination... I will be writing A review. So I called best western customer service. These are all independently owned so nothing they could do. They opened a case though. I called Kristina back and let her know tha I would not agree to any refund where I cant leave a review. I would like a full refund. I was denied a room that I paid for... I called as a courtesy to the hotel (and I am glad I did!) about a pet room that would "always" be available, and I was feeling more and more like I was being discriminated against. She went on to talking about how I was trying to blackmail her for a refund, and that I can do whatever I want, she will be able to sleep at night knowing she was in the right. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. I called the booking agency back, they talked to her, I was given a full refund. So things ended up okay. The whole town was booked last night so we had to go to seaside,or.... Which is great. I am writing this review as a heads up to people with pets... Pets are not "always" allowed or welcome here. I am also writing as a gay person. I don't known how things would have turned out had I not given two names of the same gender initially... But the word "always" means something. When I was denied a room that means there is something wrong with me, personally, and that's the only thing that comes to mind. She also never denied it so there is that. If you are gay and have a pet, you might not be given a room. I can't speak to the quality of the rooms, but the service was not good. This hotel is engaged in something illegal either way. False advertising "pets are always welcome", or discrimination (you can't discriminate against people who are gay). Maybe both. Definitely one of them though, so the WA state attorney general has also been notified. Kristina is the manager of the hotel by the way. BEWARE.

Nice hotel although very noisy doors slamming most of the night had a horrible sleep because of this, staff were very helpful on this matter when approached but the experience of a good night sleep had been ruined. Breakfast was nice and a good healthy selection

Great location in Long Beach---central to the core of downtown Long Beach---easy beach access and walking distance to restaurants, museums, shopping, etc. This is a remodeled hotel---very comfortable---very friendly and helpful staff--- Main entrance is on Pac. Hwy 101 about 507--- the address listed is the back door---parking is accessed from both sides but main entrance is on the east side. Room 302 is a very quiet room. View west of woodsy area across street----no beach views available....

We were originally booked with another hotel through Hotels.com, and Hotels.com cancelled our reservations after we left for our trip, and after confirmation, saying there was no vacancy there. Cedars Ocean View Inn, called Best Western Long Beach Inn, told them our situation, and they just took over and took care of us!!! An amazing staff just made our stay the best when we were there. Hannah made sure everything was just right for us, and they even had freshly baked, warm chocolate chip cookies for us!!! The rooms were beautifully decorated, the gym was great as was the breakfast area. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you again to all the staff that took care of us!!!

Stayed two nights, found the complete remodel and warm staff a lovely combination. Central location to the town (as opposed to beach view), We were there for clamming so had three days to see a lot of guest interaction with housekeeping, desk staff, even the lovely breakfast host. Nothing but excellence. New decor is nice, apparently the remodel was mid 2015. Our room door was ill-fitted to it's frame. But our overall experience was so positive, and the rate so good, I felt the BW earned it's 5 stars.

I entered a review earlier this morning with high marks but a suggestion for reduce breakfast waste and offering people with gluten and dairy allergies some more options (although bacon and eggs was a great start). The manager responded promptly and asked for suggestions for such foods, and then responded that she'd make a point of starting to make them available. That's pretty impressive. On top of the great responsiveness of the front desk staff.

The staff, rooms, location were all exactly what we wanted and needed. They accommodated our early arrival, were great to our dog, the breakfast was awesome, our ground floor room was perfect and was in walking distance to everything.

Very nice place and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than a lot of other places we have stayed. A very short distance to the beach and shops. Nice to know that they are pet friendly too.

We decided to spend Leap Year Day at the ocean and chose this hotel for the night. When we showed up, their sign said check-in was at 4, but our paperwork said 3. They were still able to get us a room right away, though. We found out it has only been a Best Western for about 3 weeks and it shows. Everything was newly remodeled, even to the point of still having that "fresh paint' smell in a few areas (not in the rooms, luckily). The entire hotel was clean and fresh, which is a nice treat. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even let us talk their ears off for a while. Of course, since this was winter season it was not as busy so we could talk. The nicest touch, as far as I'm concerned, is our morning wake-up call was by a real person, not a machine. He even said "you're welcome" when I said "Thank you". The room was very nice and larger than I expected. Sound did not travel through the walls (we were right next to the registration area) so we were able to get a good night's sleep. And for someone with a tall husband, having the shower head raised was bonus. I could tell it was the off-season because even though they had a nice continental breakfast it scaled back and it was hard to find something my husband could have (allergies to some milk products) and there was no fruit available. I did not expect the omelets, though. Nice touch. The trickiest part about this hotel is their entry. Even though their address is on Ocean Beach Blvd, the main entrance is on Pacific Ave. We will definitely consider staying here again next time we're in the area.

We stayed here just one night but a very nice experience. Newly remodeled, beautiful room, and good continental breakfast complete with some hot dishes. Our compliments to the staff for being very welcoming and attentive. Easy walking distance to the beach and downtown restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

This is a top notice Best Western and an outstanding hotel in Pacific County. It was recently completely renovated. There are no competitors at this price in the area. Right in the heart of Long Beach . . . walking distance to restaurants and sights.

We arrived in Long Beach at the tail end of one of the city's clam-dig weekends. Crowded streets and an almost carnival atmosphere made the town of Long Beach more fun than one would expect in February. We checked into the Long Beach Inn after wrestling with the GPS. More on that in a minute. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. It smelled really good. (That's a big deal to us.) The bed was very comfortable. Some of the other reviewers had issues with the distance to the beach. Come on, people! Suck it up, Buttercup! The four block walk will do you good. The beach itself is kind of, how can I put this politely...ugly. It is long, but the sand is gray and unappealing. You can drive on it, though. Always a good time, there. There were hundreds of people clamming and a few people with kites. Kids and kites on the beach. What can be better than that? Before leaving, we had the continental breakfast. The selection wasn't great. But the waffles were really good! The price was more than reasonable and we would probably return, as long as the visit was for pleasure. So, why just three stars? Because the front desk failed me in one of the most important tasks they have. I travel for both business and pleasure. I MUST MUST be able to count on the wake-up call. It is a vitally important part of my hotel stay. The call never came. If this had been a business stop, I would have been in a very bad way. *Travelers' Tip* The hotel is in the process of being rebranded a Best Western. Your GPS may not find it and the hotel website doesn't say whether the address is 500 NORTH Ocean Beach or 500 SOUTH Ocean Beach. It is 500 South Ocean Beach

This is a great remodeled hotel close to the beach and to the downtown area. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was great, eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, pastries. Full time coffee/hot beverage and fresh fruit bar. Pet friendly. The lobby and breakfast area were kept very clean, even as sand and mud was dragged in from the beach.

My partner in crime and I stayed here for a weekend of geocaching on Washington's south and Oregon's north coasts. It rained and there was a small craft advisory all weekend, but that's beside the point. This place has been newly remodeled and I'm impressed. It has modern decor, is clean, a good deal, has hot continental breakfast, and is pet-friendly. The photos are true to what is posted (I've included some photos as well). Pros: - Clean - Nice, modern decor throughout - Soft, comfortable beds - Wide range of TV channels - Free Wi-Fi - Pet friendly - Great price for location and amenities - Close to the beach Cons (and this is really nit-picking): - The toilet. It flushes. But at the speed of the flush, it's enough to make you wonder whether the job will get done (which it always did). - Toilet paper is at a weird angle so not super convenient, but also not the worst I've seen. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. It's nice for business or leisure. We opted for here instead of the more pricey stays in Astoria.

The hotel and our room were very clean, everything looked brand new, super comfy bed. The wheelchair room worked great for my husband and we enjoyed a dog friendly room as well. I liked the proximity to a good walking area for the dog across the street and close to the beach. The breakfast was great, good hot and cold selections. We used the community area for our dinner we brought in which was nice. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We were just there one night, I will definitely come back. The hotel is close walking distance to things in town. Win/win/win

WOW! We stay in this building about three years ago when it was under a different brand. Stayed Valentine's weekend 2016 and were completely surprised and impressed with the remodel. The lobby and common areas are beautiful and the room was lovely. Price was good for the quality and location. I would recommend the Long Beach Inn.
