The hotel was clean and comfortable, but phone in room did not work, bathtub fixture lose, pool had scum around the edge, and no internet service above 1st floor. Staff friendly and tried to help.

If I could give a 0 I would. This was absolutely the worst hotel stay in our lives. I'm 57 and my blind veteran husband, 65 yr old. Very crooked!! Was over charged 100's of dollars. We stayed 13 days during the below zero temperatures while waiting on our house to close. Booked with Expedia for first week and disclosed our family dogs at check in with all required paperwork for ESA EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS for my blind husband. We were not charged pet fees for first week. Once we extended 4 days and then another 2 days to get through cold snap, I notice unjust charges on our account. Were charged double what we originally booked for AND not only that, the manager went back to the day we checked in, charging pet fees on ONE OF TWO DOGS LISTED AS ESA PETS on official physicians orders and legal paperwork. Manager takes it up on his own "opinion" that our dogs were not ESA PETS and accused us of typing up our own forms stating he was giving us a deal by only charging for one of the dogs!!! We asked for a general manager or owners name and contact information to get this settled. Which manager refused to tell us. He stated he would try and reach Dr and refund charges if he got a hold of him. We have heard nothing!! Or seen no refunds!!! We have ESA orders from two different Drs of my husband's. One being from KC VA Dr. And another Dr. From out of town but in Missouri. My husband went blind less then 5 years ago and has high anxiety when alone unless our dogs are present. There is so so so much more but this is the jist of it!!! We never received 100.00 deposit back either and housekeeping cleans our room ONE TIME in 13 days!!! We have been in anguish due to these very high charges that should have never been charged in the first place and was never told these charges were incurring til check out.!!! Please contact us before we take this further and get an attorney and or get in touch with news channel to expose these unjust charges against Mo. Law!!!!

The pictures are catfish material. Place was ran down, sketchy, and gross. The hallways smelled like animal feces and the air was so heavy and congested. The place is all around very dirty & they claim it's a smoke free environment but it reeks of cig smoke. My partner woke up with a bite on his leg the morning of so that's ya know, gross. Also if you want your deposit back, there is a 50/50 chance you'll get it back (due to BS accusations) & I've seen other reviews that they scam you. Overall, would never come back. Front desk worker was nice. But yeh if you want to feel clean and safe, I recommend elsewhere.

The hot water went out in the entire hotel the second to last day of our stay. They attempted to fix the problem. They were unsuccessful. Everyone was checking out of the hotel. We were told repeatedly that it would be corrected. We had to check out of the hotel and go down the street to the Hampton Inn. We were promised a refund on our two nights with no hot water since we could not shower. Refund still not received two weeks later. I highly suggest staying at the Hampton Inn.

You cant ask better than this at so much affordable price. I was here last weekend and everything was perfect as it is expected in fact more than that thinking about price point. Those two guyz in front desk was amazing and hardworking , you ask for anything - you get everything before you go settle on bed. I had long conversations with them and they are really really really good, i forgot their names but definitely waiting to get back to them and have long conversations again

Two big problems with this hotel. 1. Toilet in our room would not flush. 2. Back door of hotel was propped open with a rock all night. Reported toilet problem to front desk at 3:50 pm with plenty of time for it to be fixed. Returned from concert at 11:30 pm. Someone attempted to fix it, but it was still broken. Staff repeated, “We are sorry for the inconvenience. We're doing what we can to make it right” throughout our stay. This phrase is MEANINGLESS when you don't actually try to make it right. Front desk said he would call manager about broken toilet and promised to call me right back, but he didn't call back. I waited until 11:36 pm, which was 20 minutes later, and called front desk again. Would not move us to another room. Promised someone would fix it in the morning, but no one ever arrived. We were expected to use hallway lobby bathroom in the middle of the night. That is NOT safe with unlocked back door. Plus there was a shooting here May 20, 2023, which we didn't know about until after we checked in. Wouldn't have booked here if we knew about that. Still angry about this!

Please beware of booking with this motel. There are already several reviews that warn about being charged for various things and not getting money back. Despite not heeding these reviews, this has happened to me as well. I booked a stay at this hotel on 8/18/23 and informed them I had a bearded dragon with me that would never leave it's carrier. I had informed them well within the timeframe to cancel for a full refund if this pet was not allowed. They had no issue at the time. When I arrived to the motel I was told by the worker that this pet was not allowed. The worker suggested I could stay there if I kept the bearded dragon in my vehicle. Mind you, it was about 90 degrees that day and the animal would have died in a short amount of time if I had done this. I explained my situation to the worker and asked for a refund at the front desk. I was asked to call Best Western to get a refund on my stay as they stated they couldn't refund me at the location. After speaking to Best Western, I was informed that only the local motel could refund my stay. When I spoke to them again, they stated that was wrong. I ended up calling other hotels in the area and luckily I found one that had no issue with a small reptile that doesn't leave it's carrier being in the room. I have realized that I am not getting my money back from this motel and after reading prior reviews of people having trouble getting money back, I feel the owner is at fault. Again, please find another place to stay. There are plenty of other very nice places to stay in this community.

The hotel is so clean, has a nice indoor pool, and excellent breakfast! You can tell they care about your stay and comfort! The manager/front desk person was super friendly and catered to us! Definitely recommend!

The experience we had at this hotel was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. They have a continental breakfast which was great! Harsha was super sweet and hospitable. We also spoke with Maria over the phone and she was also sweet and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Probably the worst customer service I have ever had I literally had to bully my way into a room because the front desk clearly was looking for reasons not to rent to me. First extremely valued Best Western ex employee with an ex xcellent reputation. Worked the desk, in Seattle for the oldest largest property Corp. I was in charged of our hotel divions, Seattle Center locations all 6 including the Excutive Inn. And I was only one not laid off in pandemic over 200 others. First, asked for a ground floor disable for my service dog because of recent strokes told I had no choice but 3rd floor which is illegal. They demanded I present service dog paperwork which is totally illegal and violated my HIPA rights so they are charging me for not presenting that. I couldn't find find Current ID but still good last one from Oregon with my last permanent address. Told not good enough. Produced current passport, told not good enough because it didn't have an address. ?? Lie. Passports are alone show ID. So after that I parked in front of the building and booked on Went back to ask for a key and room. Was threaten several times about smoking. Then was told my card was not working after being asked for it 4 times! Despite I just booked with it and after the final I was given my card back went to atm and withdrawed $500 from. They now demand $100 for ensidentals to cover room damage. Called bank and my card is working. Finally got keys and only one worked. Thank goodness the room is great and housekeeping and maintenance seem to be doing their job. Because if I wasn't so tired I should have turned and ran. It's a pity watching bad service soil the Best Western reputation I use to work so hard to keep up but I will never go through what I had to tonight. It was ridiculous and no older woman should feel unwanted especially when they are so unhealthy. I felt like the clerk at the desk beat me up for no reason. It was terrible experience and I won't extent my stay here.

Very disappointed with their customer service and staff. The stay was okay. The building was not in tip top shape but we took a chance on it. The elevator was slow and parts were broken. It didn't even show the floor numbers which made us think it was broken in the beginning. The ice machine of the 3rd floor was broken. Also getting Wi-Fi on the 3rd floor was difficult to access for family staying on that floor. I had 9 different family members stay here we were split up on different floors. They charged my cousin an extra $15 for one of his children, saying he had too many for a room. One of those children was a 1 month old baby. That was a little ridiculous. When I looked at my account I noticed I had an $80 charge. When I called I was initially hung up on so when I called back I was told he couldn't hear me. I was told I was being charged for “damaged” towels that had makeup on them. I know for a fact I used 1 towel to dry my face off after washing my makeup off. So there could not have been that much makeup on them. At the end of the day makeup comes out in the wash. Sadly when I went up there to speak to someone the manager on staff could not provide me with the damaged towels or the General Manager Umesh Patel on the phone. I was also told the towels were not even washed yet. So I was charged for towels that had not even tried to be wash. I asked for an itemized list of the damages and the documentation of all the damages. He could not provide me with it. The manager on duty did get what he called the Eastern Manager Isaiah Patel on the phone. Upon talking to him he also could not provide me with any proof of the “damages” or a list of damages. He was very disrespectful and called me a DoDo. He also called me a nuisances and refused to give me his name. I am very disappointed in how this all is being handled. Also I don't appreciated being called names by a staff. I still do not have a list of all the damaged towels or any proof that my makeup ruined them. I am sad that I gave this hotel over $3,000 worth of business. I was told by other community member to not stay here but I thought it was worth the price to try. I was wrong and definitely will not be recommending this hotel to anyone. Still have not heard back from the General Managers Umesh Patel after 2 days. I still also do not have any itemized list of all the damages I was charged with or proof or documentation after requesting multiple times. Also no proof that the towels came from my specific room. If you are looking for a hotel there are plenty in the area with a better facility and customer services.

Stopped here overnight on the way to a football game, and were pleased with friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, and hot breakfast. Hotel is family operated and it shows in the best way. Very welcoming and accommodating.

So we stayed Friday-Sunday. On Friday we got to our room from a 5.5 hour drive. Was expecting to relax, our TV in our room wasn't plugged in, we plugged it in and the remote or buttons on the TV didn't work. The phone was also unplugged so I used my personal phone to call downstairs. The gentleman said he'd have someone come bring a new one which was supposed to be in a half an hour. We stayed up till midnight and no one came. The sheets had black spotted stains in them. Saturday we went to shower and noticed the bath spoute was broke so not all the water was going into the shower head. Once we got back to the hotel the TV was still not fixed and we let the gentleman downstairs know and an hour and a half later came our new TV. We got it set up everything was good. Sunday morning the fire alarms went off at 7:30 am. We went to leave and we noticed over $100 of our food was bad because the fridge wasn't working properly.. So to say we had a good experience would be a lie. I'd prefer a refund, of all if not part of our stay because it seemed like it was one thing after another.

I question whether SureStay Plus is "really" a Best Western. A "Worst Western" is more like it. The heater didn't work, we had to set it to 80 degrees. The laminate floor appeared dirty and felt sticky. The bathroom counter height is odd, it was thigh high. The hotel operator asked intrusive questions during check-in too. Don't think about calling the front desk, the phone is unplugged and dead. My impression is the hotel operator does not want to be bothered with guest requests for assistance or service. Cable TV is okay but substandard. THERE WAS NO HOT WATER! I would not stay here again, and you should not subject yourself to it either.

There were stains on the floor and the bedding. The ceiling was peeling and coming off. The shower water leaves a film in your body. It's dark and dingy. Just overall gross. And we paid over $100 for our room - so it wasn't a “get what you paid for” situation. Not a fan. Stay elsewhere!

We saw this place had a 7.2 rating on Priceline and booked our stay in confidence. Upon arrival we were given a room that had a cockroach on the TV stand and was moldy smelling and reeked of urine. The hallways and room were not vacuumed, as you could visibly see debris. You could tell the cleaning was not thorough. The advertised pictures were not a truthful representation, as the building is very outdated and rundown. When bringing our frustration to the manager, he was very rude and wouldn't listen to our concerns. Moreover, when we chose to request a refund and book a different hotel, the manager would not print a receipt of our credit. We actually had to call the police in order to get our rightful refund.

Hands down the worst budget motel either of us have ever stayed at by a large margin. Everything was broken, we were originally given someone else's occupied room, the elevator has no safety information in it, the room had water damage and drywall damage and perhaps most disturbingly, the floor was literally at a 2° slant. We measured it. This place is literally sinking and needs to be condemned.

The desk clerk would not give me the room I reserved, but instead gave me an accessible room on the ground floor. The HVAC was in Celsius rather Fahrenheit. The people in the next room were noisy. The coffee was not labeled as regular or decaf. Breakfast was OK, The hotel was difficult to find due to a lack of signage. Communication with the clerks was difficult.

The shower and key fab weren't working. Staff couldn't open room either. Said door jam was not made properly and had to use a rubber mallet to hit something in hopes to help get in our room. Then shower was not working properly. Lastly, the breakfast was not fresh.

My son and I stayed here when he played in a tournament in Oak Grove. The hotel selection there wasn't good, so I did an Express Deal on Priceline and was given the SureStay in Blue Springs. I was not disappointed! The room and hotel were very clean. The bathroom, especially, was spotless and in great condition. We were comfortable in the room. I only wish that there had been an easy chair in the room as there was space next to one of the queen beds in the corner that could have easily fit a chair. The breakfast was adequate---nothing special but not bad either. I was able to have a biscuit with gravy and a waffle I made. However, the breakfast space isn't very big and only has one high top communal table and a couple of smaller tables that are shoved in there awkwardly. Best of all, though, was the LOCATION. This hotel is located just south of I-70 and is on the same road/area as Whataburger, Chipotle, Panda Express, Sonic, Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, and so much more. I was very happy with our stay at this hotel and would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

I was exhausted and having trouble finding a hotel that would allow my dog. The staff here is so friendly and accommodating. I got a room right away and Varun helped me with some of my larger luggage. He is the best-I hope he gets a raise!

We needed a motel that would take two big dogs- over 50lbs. SureStay was able to accommodate us, plus they had a pool and hot tub that were open. I do wish they had a little dining area to eat in but I get COVID put a damper on everything. The front desk was amazing and answered all questions and were very polite to us during our stay. The free breakfast was good. Overall- great stay.

My father passed away and I needed a hotel so I could attend the funeral. After reviewing several hotels, I called this one and received excellent service. They booked me over the phone and it cost less than all the usual booking sites. When the funeral was unavoidably detained, I called back in and received the same excellent service. I was able to cancel short notice and definitely plan to stay here when I do attend the funeral

The front desk was very accommodating when we first arrived. The room was comfortable and clean. It was handicap accessible as requested. The breakfast was adequate and warm. Our room was very quiet for sleeping even though it is right next to I70.

Website stated pet fees were per ROOM per night, which is why I stayed there with two dogs. Instead, got charged per pet when checking out and they would not take off extra charge. Could have stayed at a better hotel for that price.

We were first overcharged for the room with excuse after excuse of why. The hotel is dirty and the staff is rude. We were given a room that was occupied at first and then given a non-pet room that was covered in dog hair. All the room vents had a thick layer of dust. There were stains and some type of crumbs all over the bed sheets. The room smelled like mildew and smoke. There was a liquid stain down the back of the TV that ran forward to the drawers. Bathroom - damaged walls along the tub. Drain did not work. Dirty mirror and sink. Thick ring inside the toilet. Non of the exterior card readers worked. The pool was filthy and had some type of black debris on the bottom. When I asked for a receipt during check out I was denied and given no reason why. Non of the staff wore masked.

Very nice hotel and pet friendly. A little pricey but overall a good property. Area seemed safe and secure. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Had grab and go breakfast which was rare during Covid. Also they had a pool available.

After safety and security, the three most important factors for a stay are cleanliness, a great bed and a great shower. This hotel had them all. The staff was wonderful, friendly, kind and caring. Best smelling sheets I have ever experienced. It was close to the three events that I was in town for. Even though it sat right off of I70 it was amazingly quiet. My favorite part were the sliding doors which helped so much bringing in and taking out luggage. I use a walker and the room was set up for just such use. My only complaint, not really a complaint, more of a request, a soft chair or recliner would be a great addition to the king rooms. This will be my hotel of choice every trip to Blue Springs.

We had the displeasure of staying at this hotel the same time as a huge football group The Inner City Ducks from Minnesota. At least 20 kids, with parents and coach. From midnight when they arrived until 2 am the kids were running up and down the halls, knocking on doors, throwing ice down the hallways. I called the front desk twice, they didn't do anything. The parents were knocking on random doors looking for their kids, staff wouldn't do anything about it. Room smelled like mildew. The carpet felt so gross you couldn't walk around with no shoes on. Breakfast was disgusting. Worst hotel experience I've ever had.

We enjoyed our two night stay on our trip to Blue Springs to visit Powell Gardens. Everyone we came into contact with, from the front desk to the housekeepers, were very friendly. The room was clean and in reasonable shape. The popup drain in the tub was broken, but that was all. It still would have worked if I wanted a bath, but since we just used the shower, we put it up on the edge of the tub. The bed was comfortable and the furniture was in good shape. If you are not expecting 4-star service from a 2-star hotel, this place is great.

This hotel is right of of the interstate. It is quiet and the people who work there are friendly. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. We stay at this hotel frequently on our trips to see our son at college. Further, I have recommended it to friends and coworkers.

I stayed here several years ago during a snow storm when it was a Quality Inn and it was a great place to stay. The quality of this hotel left when the name did. I arrived late at night for a room this week. My mistake was that I should have turned around when the electric doors were out of order and I had to use the alternate front door with the door handle hanging off. Lady at the front desk was friendly. Got checked in, parked my car and grabbed my bags. Went to the 3rd floor to my room, opened the door and the bed had not been made. All the dirty linens were balled up on the bed. Back downstairs I go (while carrying all my bags) to get another room. I get the room next door so I go back to the 3rd floor. Bed was made in this room but the TV wasn't working. Blue light came on at the bottom so I know it was plugged in but I never did get a picture. Thank God it was only for one night. If I had booked this place for multiple nights, I would've checked out and found somewhere else. Bed was decently comfortable. Carpets were filthy and had burn holes. Shower barely drained. I was in water over ankle deep by the time I was done. Bathroom had nice ceramic tiles but you could feel them move under your feet when you walked. Just a huge disappointment. I felt robbed paying $80 for this room. $40 would've been more appropriate. My advice is go somewhere else...anywhere else!

This hotel has every amenity we needed, offered wonderful hospitality and was very clean. Hence a five star review. Our room was spacious and the bedding was comfortable. Parts of the hotel are under renovation (construction did not disrupt our stay)... so it will be even better soon! Now, to the part where it really shined... the staff. We are driving cross county and checked in late. Check-in was friendly, quick and easy. The following morning, we had to take our car to a mechanic. Checkout is at 11am, our car wasn't ready until a few hours later. The hotel manager and staff welcomed us to stay in the warmth and comfort of room past checkout... no charge. We were thrilled.

Just about everything that could wrong in a reservation and a stay occurred in this place. I was told one thing on the phone and got a bait-and-switch when I got there. It did not seem to take CoVid seriously (no masks, no barriers, toilet paper from previous guests, etc.). I was somewhere between discussed and fearful.

Traveling during covid 19. Staff did not wear mask or gloves. Check in clerk not very pleasant. He insisted I had put on reservation that I had a pet. We did not. After I got to room I double checked my reservation and it didn't say I had a pet. Room adequate. Mattress and other furniture worn. Refrigerator did work for our cooler food. There was no grab and go breakfast bag. We would try a different hotel if we stopped again in our travels.

I booked through stated no money would be taken out of my account until I checked in at the hotel. I cancelled my hotel stay 5 hours before check in. Max took the entire week booking, over 400 dollars, out of my account. He then was rude to me and called me racial slurs on the phone, which is very odd for an immigrant to use such harsh language in a foreign country. Further, he lied and said Corporate would send me a check, which I have never received. I have filed a fraud report with my bank and they are waiting on VISA to verify whether or not fraud occurred. When I went to confront Max Patel at the hotel, it smelled like cigarettes and there were bugs in the lobby. It looked very unclean. I am glad I didn't stay there anyway. I would not stay here if you can help it.

This place is a complete trap. Stay far away from here. I stayed one night while in town and had a terrible experience. I paid a cash deposit and when I went to check out in the morning the employee went to check my room which I left pretty clean (I had put all my towels and my trash bagged by the front door) so I expected no issues with the deposit. He came back and told me I wouldn't recieve a refund because the room smelled of tobacco. I got angry when he went on to tell me I had to pay a $250 smoking fee and his story changed all of a sudden to the room smelling of marijuana which was definitely not the truth. I don't smoke and my gf has severe asthma. I told him he was wrong and he replied by throwing my room keys at me and my gf then went running into the back to grab what I'm assuming was some sort of weapon while cussing at me etc. we left for our own safety and called the general manager max Patel and spoke with him and was completely disrespected once again. He is a liar and a thief. I have spoken with customer care and hope that this psycho will be taken care of before he tries to injure a customer. He was definitely not emotionally stable. Please stay far away from here. Obviously there is a reason the parking lot was empty when we arrived... I will be posting this everywhere and complaining about max Patel until this is resolved and I am apologized to. UPDATE: I called the hotel the next day to see what the police had to say about the smell of the room And it turns out max didn't even call them out so I requested my deposit back and was called a redneck, cockroach, etc. I called the police and finally after having an officer on the property with me max gave me my deposit but yelled at me to the point of the officer telling him he needed to calm down. I suggest anyone that's already got a reservation cancel it or write down every issue with the room and present it to the staff right away before you check out and are charged for any damages or "smells" I hope the whole city of blue springs is smart enough to avoid scams by max Patel.

I have stayed here twice in recent months. Both times I was pleased. Not only do you get an inexpensive price but the rooms are clean. I can't stress that enough. To be sure, my room did have minor maintenance issues (missing screws in the lamp; a loose toilet paper holder; minor scratches on furniture) but none of that is a big deal. The bed is clean, and soft, and the room was clean and didn't smell. The heating and AC work well. The bathroom is super small. But let's be honest, you really only want a clean soft bed for a good price. I will definitely be back.

This one one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. It was filthy, it smelled, the bed was terrible and the comforter had burn holes. The hot parts of breakfast were luke-warm at best. The eggs were just cold. The air conditioner didn't work through the night so it was very hot trying to sleep, then when we started moving in the morning, it started working with a vengeance and froze us. Seriously, we WAY overpaid for this room.

We stayed two nights, however our room was not cleaned in between. We were told this was because we had our Do Not Disturb sign on our door. However, this sign was removed prior to the 11 a.m. check-out time, and we were told that room cleaning was only done early in the morning, which made no sense. Our stay would have been fine otherwise, but this lack of room cleaning was a disappointment.

1st was not aware of pet fee until we had arrived. Room was dirty, curtain had a large burn in it. Lamp in desk did not work. Lamp shade on night stand broke. Bathroom door looked liked it had been kicked in.

Ready to stop for night and went here pretty much a bad idea. stayed in hotels 20 plus nights the last year. weird smell in hotel room towel holder in bathroom was about to fall off the wall floor was pieced together looked like crap hair dryer was yuk dirty. got in bed had to kill a spider that ran out from under my pillow. looked along the wall behind the head board that was a bad idea. in my opinion this property is worth about $79 a night maybe.

Reasonably priced rooms in clean, well-maintained hotel. Breakfast items are adequate and tasty. WiFi is a bit slow at times but is adequate for most work required on the computer. Front desk was helpful in answering questions and in providing a quiet room.

Check in was great, very accommodating however whoever was above us decided to stay up walking around to 4am. The shower was coming out of the wall and sink in bed area could use some TLC. Water pressure was horrible and air conditioning took awhile to get room cool. Overall good stay though.

The room was relatively middle of the line in price as far as rooms go for this area. However, the room had a strong perfumed moldy smell from obvious attempts to cover up the humidity problems in the building. The bedding was damp and gross. The sprinkler above one of the beds was actually duct taped together. The shower safety rod was falling off the wall in the bathroom. The towel rack was rusted and would collapse if you touched it. The faucet in the tub was falling off the wall and will soon go shooting across the tub. The elevator floor squished when you stepped on it and there were numerous air fresheners tossed above the light covers to help with the smell. All in all this hotel was in very poor condition

The checkin person was great. Room was quiet, smoke free with extra easy chair micro and refrig . I was able to use cpap medical machine without extra cords. There were a few chips in tub... but no big deal. Breakfast was above avg for 2 star with egg and sausage patties and biscuits and gravy. 3 cereals 3 juices bananas and apples and more Only downer was coffee its instant and machine was on fritz so some cups were strong and some watery It happened as I was getting my last cup no one at desk so I didn't report

The hotel was generally unclean. Our first room reeked of cigarettes and smoke even though the hotel is supposed to be smoke-free. The front desk lady graciously put us in a new, clean room even though the hotel was nearly booked. The general cleanliness of the hotel was also poor. There was drywall dust ground into the carpets, and the stairwells smelled like dogs. The third floor was dimly lit and smelled very strongly of cigarettes. The pool area was grimy, and there were used bandaids and clumps of hair scattered about. The pool was ice cold instead of being "heated" as it should have been. The hot tub felt like it had far too much chlorine. Breakfast was average. The selection of food was decent, but the food tasted okay. For what we paid to stay at this hotel, we expected more quality. The bed was clean and comfortable. There were not many complaints with the second room aside from food wrappers behind the bed and terrible water pressure in the bathroom faucet. In general, this hotel is not worth the money. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and they worked well to enrich our experience. However, their service is wasted on a filthy building. A budget motel would likely be a better use of your money.

Our group was looking for a place to sleep at the end of a long day of driving. Basically needing a bed and a bite to eat before leaving the next morning. I slept well and the room was comfortable. The hot breakfast items were lukewarm. The halls were poorly vacuumed, which was a turnoff. For a first visit to a SureStay, I was unimpressed.

Ok hotel for the price. Beds were comfy, staff was nice. Only complaint is that the pool closes at 9pm. Couldn't even enjoy it after returning from dinner. Family was disappointed! We NEVER stay at a hotel unless there us a pool and hot tub.

The king suite was very nice spacious. It was upgraded and the bed was very comfortable. The room was on the bottom floor and close to all the amenities. The pool and hot tub were a plus and the lobby was beautiful decorated. The water pressure was just low with the faucet and shower.

Blood on our hotel wall. Told front staff she told me to clean it. Refused to move our room. We had a one year old running around and did not want him touching the blood on the wall. I was fine staying in the room or even moving to a different room but she told me no and said I have to clean it its my room for the night. the pool was ICE cold. The breakfast was ICE cold. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE KIDS

The beds were so comfortable, and everyone was so nice! The pool was warm, and the location is great. It's right by Denny's, McDonald's, and down the street from jack in the box! They were so nice and professional. We had left a phone in the pool room and a janitor turned it in to the front desk. We left a jacket in the hotel room after we checked out and they kindly let us go back up and get it! We would definitely stay here again!

Arrived at Sure Stay with two of my friends and wanted to rent two rooms for two nights. I specifically said two rooms for two nights and had to repeat myself several times for the gentleman working did not speak nor understood English very well. Finally, was able to get the gentleman to understand what I wanted and agreed on a price for everything. I paid for my rooms signed the papers and was given only a key for one room. I asked him where is the key for the other room? The look on his face I could tell that he just realized he had made a mistake. Knowing this was going to take a while I told my friends to go on up to the room and get some sleep since it was late. Turning back to the gentleman he then started telling me I had to pay double for another room. I told him that we had already agreed on a price I paid for it and signed already all I need is a key for the second room that I have already paid for. He insisted that I pay double, seeing that I wasn't getting anywhere I asked for him to call his manager, at first, he did not want to call his manager then finally he did, and I asked him to please put the call on speaker. He calls his manager but instead of putting his phone on speaker, so I can hear he left it so only he could hear and also talked in a different language, so I would not know the content of the conversation he was having with his manager. Finally after he finished talking he put the phone on speaker and the manager told me I had to pay double, I explained what happened again and he said yes his employee had made a mistake but you have to pay double for his mistake or he was going to call the police and have me escorted since I told him I would not pay double it was late I already paid for a room here I just want a key for my second room. So not to have trouble with the lay I left to find another hotel and before I could check in my friends called me and asked me to come get them for the room was horrible. I did not see the room, but my friends did take pictures. In the pictures you can see where they stepped on the floor for they were sticking to the floor every time they took a step. Holes was in the sheets and could clearly see the room was not cleaned other than the beds made, and new towels placed in the bathroom. You could look out of the room from the cracks around the door of the room and the bathroom door was the same. I went back to the hotel and asked for a refund which they printed off a paper for a full refund. After returning home I checked my account and found I only received half of my refund. I would strongly urge anyone to find a different place to stay.

Checking in and out was quick. Room was clean, beds very comfortable. Battered lampshades need replaced. Plenty of bathroom amenities. Cheap toilet paper. Hot breakfast was included and presented well. All in all, it was a safe and clean place to stay the night. It is not fancy by no means, but it was economical and comfortable.

My wife and I have spent a substatial number of nights in moderately priced chain hotels over our many years together. Last Friday was the first time we opted to leave after seeing the room. The bathroom sparkled. No problem there. But, the baseboards, corners and carpet were buried in thick layers of dust. The freezer was in dire need of defrosting. The freezer door was frozen open, and our cold packs would fit. Furniture, except the top surfaces were dust covered. These are all signs of on going neglect, not a one time poor cleaning. The front desk staff was gracious and cooperative when we discussed our issues, and refunded our payment without issue. We headed on down the road.

I was so tired when I finally pulled off I-70 for the night I could have slept just about anywhere - which was a good thing in this case. Check in was fine. The young man was professional and friendly which was also the case when I checked out. The room would probably have been ok but it had a bad smell and there was something noisy - not sure if it was an air conditioner or something outside. I had dinner across the street at an Irish Bar which called Clancy's which was actually an interesting experience. Breakfast was ok too. I guess this place would have been ok without the smelly room with the mysterious noise but, as I said, I was tired enough not to care at the time. One thing I need to learn is to book in advance (even on a road trip) because the "drop in" rate I get is usually 10% or so more than the on line sites - true here, at Econolodge and at Best Western during this road trip.

A clean and quiet hotel. Check-in was quick and easy. Easy access from I-70. Only two minor issues with my stay - the mattress was a little soft (I prefer a firmer one) and the water was a little hard. Price was fair and I slept well, despite the mattress being a little soft for my liking.

The stay was fantastic, the atmosphere was even better, the front desk clerk was the best part of the stay, she was in my opinion a remarkable person, had tons of conversations with her and was knowledgeable about the town
