The check in was very smooth, the room was in perfect condition and was very quiet. The Breakfast was very complete - with eggs, sausage, hash brown potatoes very tasty sweet rolls and they even had biscuits and gravey.. quick check out, friendly staff. It was a very nice stay.

I really like this place. They really take pride in what they do. Everything is always working, clean and in good shape. I have stayed many times and I have never has an issue. The breakfast is above and beyond the popular Carbfest. It is really good with plenty of options.

"Omelettes for breakfast - Yes please!!"

So lets skip straight to breakfast - Chelsea - we got your back!!! Your omelets were the bomb! Best breakfast of any hotel I have been to in a long time! Bacon, sausage, patties or links, and ham every morning. REAL scrambled eggs, hash-brown casserole, plus waffles, oatmeal and all the standard items. Your whole staff was over the top friendly and helpful. I had a migraine when I got there and was given the royal treatment to a quick check in and some Tylenol. Thank you ( You know who you are) You were fantastic! It is a an older Best Western, with some overhaul done. Our room was clean, had a keurig and loved it! Our soccer team was all close to each other and they even helped us out with a conference room for the parents so we were able to talk and hang out. There were a few teams so we all needed our spaces. The pool and hot tub was enjoyed by all. I liked the beds felt soft like a memory foam and slept well. Sorry to the non soccer people staying, we tried to have the kids in there rooms by 9:30/10:00 every night - not sure which team or if all but last night there a little loud. We are sorry! The staff handled it very well. Would stay again. Thank you so much for a great stay and wonderful staff!! Best staff I have had the pleasure of at an hotel in quite a while!

Wow thank you so much for such an awesome review! My name is Courtney I'm the one who gave you Tylenol upon arriving. It was my pleasure to make sure you got what you needed to kick that nasty migraine. You had a long weekend ahead of you and I wouldn't want you to do it feeling like you did. We try to accommodate each guest needs so knowing we had young kiddos that are just like any of our own kids excited for their games and excited they were at a hotel with friends wouldn't be completely quiet so providing you with the conference room to let them enjoy a themselves or for the parents to hangout was no problem it accommodated the soccer group and the few other rooms with guest who weren't with those groups. Also we appreciate you having the kids in and calm before to late and apologizing for the noise on the last night. You really did great working with us on helping calm things down and we know kids will be kids and we value each of our guest so we work out hardest to handle each situation professionally and fair to each guest. It was a pleasure having you all stay with us and we enjoyed getting to speak to each of you as well as laughing with you. Topping the stay off I knew our Breakfast staff wouldn't let you down! Those ladies are amazing and work very hard to make sure everyone has something for breakfast they like. I will be sure to share your appriciation with the entire staff! We were returning from a trip and stopped at the Best Western in Anderson Indiana. The girls were very freindly when we checked in and worked with us to get the best price. The room was very clean and the bed was confortable. The highlight of the visit was their breakfast bar. My husband really enjoyed his made for him omelet.

Room was extremely clean! Everyone was very friendly. Front desk lady is great. Awesome price. Very good breakfast. The pool was clean the waterfall was very cool. Very quite. The only problem was there is no safe in the rooms.

Great staff,location. All around nice! Very clean. Pool! Close to good eats! Will stay again. Young women at checkin was great. Perfect! Anything you need they take care of. Forgot razor no problem. Very nice all around!

Would stay again and close to the races and casino Place was very good and treat my service dog with respect. I had no issues and would not expect none. Bed was so comfortable and slept like a baby. Will come again.

From the service to the rooms and the breakfast everything was AWESOME! Rooms was nice and clean,the front desk clerks was professional and friendly. They also offered express check out that was fast and efficient for me. I would recommend this place of stay to any family or business trip.

When I travel my 3 top needs are Comfortable Beds, Clean sheets and pill (I don't like pillows that smell), and a friendly and accommodating staff. I was not disappointed here. This might not be a 5 star hotel but I was very happy and satisfied with my experience. The Staff went out of their way to be welcoming. The bed was comfortable and smelled clean. I could use the pillows without having to put a towel over them. Breakfast was free and sufficient. Everything I need when I am traveling. I would stay here again.

Went to Anderson to go to Hoosier Park Racetrack and Casino. Everything was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, pool area was nice, & breakfast was good. Courtney and Crystal were especially helpful. We were glad to see the improvements in the pool area since the last time we were there. We met a friend there and she had never stayed there before and she LOVED her room and the hotel overall. We will return.

Great place to grab some zZzs and relax. Comfortable beds and friendly people. Pet friendly and had a nice pool and spa area for winding down. The only thing that could have been better is location. Closer to Indy.

Very nice facility. Easy access to the highway. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were super clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Lots of hot choices. Staff was friendly and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

"Excellent"

Nice and friendly. Right next door, in walking distance, a Cracker Barrel. Had a tremendous storm that knocked out their power but had back up power for AC and bathroom lights. The breakfast the next morning was still available...they made do without power they still put on a great breakfast. Everyone was very helpful and courteous! However, there was no checkout because of computers down.

A very nice Hotel with great location, close to Casino and not too far from Noblesville music center outdoor arena. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Breakfast selection is good and Staff is very accommodating.

"Great place"

This Best Western hotel is evrything you would expect from a great hotel chain. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Bed was comfortable and soft yet firm pillows. Breakfast was lacking but ok. Will stay here again in the future.

Still, the room nicely sized and had all the amenities one expects. The staff was awesome they accommodated are need for a ground floor room. The hallways are the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel. And the rooms use RFID chip technology cards for access. This is something that I've never experienced before, but I really like those type of door keys. Breakfast was good the breakfast area was very large very open. We will stay at this hotel again. There is unfortunately one sore spot, and that is the enclosed pool. We stuck our noses briefly into the enclosed pool area and found it to be unpleasant. There was a strong smell of chlorine, and what I could only guess is mold. Had we had intentions of swimming, we would not have been able to do it.

We stayed here for 2 weeks during our annual trip to Anderson, IN and were so pleasantly surprised with our entire stay. Excellent breakfast choices, great indoor pool, spacious rooms, and several comfortable sitting areas throughout the hotel. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. We look forward to our extended stay again this year.

"Overnight stay for graduation"

We stayed at the Best Western overnight before our daughter graduated from Anderson University. The hotel was clean for the most part. The room smelled fresh but there were hairs on the floor in the restroom and in the shower when we checked in. The beds were okay felt a little old. The breakfast was good. It was a really busy morning and the staff was doing their best to keep up with everyone. The staff was very friendly.

"Room smell was horrendous and no hot water for showers"

Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable but stops there. Two major flaws are the odor in the room is horrendous and the water for showers were luke warm at best for our two day stay. Did not have enough towels in the room for occupants. The staff are extremely pleasant and try there best for you but I don't know if it is inexperience or what, it is just not a well run hotel. Breakfast is awful. They have four staff members running it, the most I have ever seen of any hotel, yet they ran out of hot water, eggs, and yogurt, hard workers but not organized. The food is of low quality and flavourless

"Annual stopover enroute to Indy."

Stay in Anderson every year on my way to Indy room rates in the city are too high. This location gives me great access to downtown Anderson has great amenities. The hotel was clean and rooms were in great shape .I would definitely consider staying here again next year.

"Comfortable and quiet"

Clean, quiet and comfortable hotel. Travel a lot for business and these three things matter the most to me. This hotel fulfilled all three of these priorities. I will stay here in the future. Be careful when leaving the hotel due to the road conditions. Hit a large pothole and flattened the tire on the rental car. Of coarse this is not the hotels fault but, Indiana freeways are in terrible shape.

The internet was Very slow, Was told they were upgrading their system. The last time new stayed the internet was fine. Might be that they just changed owners. In addition only two papers are there for the amount of rooms they have rented. They expect the people to return the papers once they read them,. Again this property just changed ownership. Beds were greats and the staff they currently have are wonderful. Again they just changed ownership

We stayed here last year and were not disapointed again this year. It is a very nice place to stay by the casino or any other time for that matter considering the price range it falls into. They do about as nice a breakfast as you can expect for this level of motel.

"NOT Clean!!!"

We booked this hotel over several others because people said it was clean. There was hair in the shower, dust everywhere, and an unidentifiable substance on the curtain pulls. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

"Hopefully this stay isn't a trend"

The heat wouldn't turn off, they tried to charge us twice for our dog and the pool was down all weekend. We were told at the begining we would recieve a discount due to the problems and then denied one at check out. I've had better stays here.

This hotel was very nice. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself was clean. The room was very nice, clean, quiet and with an extra comfortable bed! The self serve breakfast had many choices, was hot and really filled you up. I would recommend this hotel for a quick get away.

Very dissatisfied with my stay at this hotel. And from the looks of the most recent reviews, I am not alone. There was no hot water in the hotel. We were told it was because everyone was trying to shower at the same time. There is NO good reason for a hotel to be without hot water. I asked for a discount on my bill because of his and was treated very poorly by Terri at the front desk. I will not be visiting this hotel again, nor will recommend it to anyone. I will also be looking at anything other than a Best Western.

"Unlike any Best Western Plus I have ever stayed in....Not the greatest..."

I will start with the positives...Breakfast was good, many hot items to choose from! Most of the staff we encountered was nice enough......Now the not so positives: when we arrived at 4:30pm we were checked into a dirty room, 3 rooms later we were settled in. The room was dirty, dirty, dirty....cobwebs in the corners, sticky stuff on the nightstand, phone was nasty as well as alarm clock. Head boards were not dusted, table with the desk blotter was not dusted as well. The Keuirg coffee maker was not cleaned either. There were no washcloths provided and there was toothpaste on the sliver shelf in the bathroom. The maintenance man was in house slippers and sweats and the housekeeper was also in a t shirt and sweatpants...Maybe it was casual day or something?? The elevator had a really bad body odor smell that seemed to get worse through the evening. The only person that was dressed appropriately and professional was the night shift guy. He was the only person during our stay that actually acted and carried himself in a professional manner. We asked for a late checkout and was given one, only to have housekeeping banging on our door at regular check out time, so the communication between front desk and housekeeping was apparently nonexistent. Also, the pool was closed...We have stayed here once in the past and it was a very nice and clean property. This time, not so much....Not sure what happened but we will be checking out other properties if we are ever in the area again.

"Don't Stay Here"

I recently booked this hotel for a large youth sport group. Many of the parents had issues with their rooms from finding dog feces on the floor to have rooms double booked and either walking in a room to find someone already there or being woken up at 3am to someone trying to enter their room. We also had a family that had to switch rooms during their stay because they said the double queen room they booked was only available for Friday night. The next day they switched them to a different double queen room. Management was not available to address issues but lived in one of the first floor rooms and would come out frequently to smoke and talk with staff which where under orders to tell everyone that management was not available. The pool was closed and the workout room was unavailable because it was storage for many boxes of tvs. The hot water was hit and miss. Some people would have it one day or one shower but not the next.

We were in town for the State Dance Competition, and had drove over two hours to get there. When we pulled up there were not that many cars in the parking lot, so we knew not everyone had checked-in yet. It was only about 8:30 p.m. First thing we saw was a sign that the pool was closed when we walked-in, which was all the kids were looking forward to. When I told the girl at the front desk I had reservations she informed me that they were overbooked. I thought she misunderstood me, so I explained that we had reservations and my room was already previously paid for on Hotels.com . She informed me that they were overbooked, and that the Comfort Inn might have rooms available down the road, so I could try down there. When I asked about my money that I had already spent on the room she said all she could do was take my name and number down and give it to her manager on Monday. (This was on a Friday) When I asked if they were going to pay for the hotel room at the other hotel since this was their mistake, she said no. When I asked for contact information for a manager she would not offer me any so I was able to call on Monday either. All she would give me was his name was Collin. I was luckily able to get a room at the Comfort Inn, and the front desk clerk there was extremely helpful and nice. She had numerous guests that evening that had to come over from the Best Western Plus because they had the same thing happen to them. She also informed us that the pool at the Best Western Plus has been closed for over a year, and they were not letting people know ahead unfortunately. Even though the Comfort Inn needed some updates, I would much rather stay there with excellent customer service than the Best Western Plus, which had horrible service! My husband also was meeting us at the hotel later that evening and didn't arrive until around 1 a.m., and he said that when he came in their hotel was packed at the Best Western Plus. I want to know how they were able to pick and choose who got a room and who didn't. Especially when my room was already paid for, and others only held theirs with credit cards. I have still yet to get a refund or phone call from my reservation when I was not able to stay, and am still trying to get it back through Hotels.com, who is trying to dispute it with the hotel themselves now. I have sent over my confirmation information and banking information as proof that the money came out of my account.

Dog crap in our room upon check in. No hot water. Pool was closed. Hotel had a terrible odor. The staff did not do their best to ensure customer satisfaction. Overall, it was a horrible stay! There were multiple complaints from our group that stayed. Extremely disappointing!!

I try to find the best in stays but this location leaves much to be desired. Poorly staffed and under trained. Common to hear guests and staff complaining. Not surprisingly, no manager was on duty near check out time. Plenty of excuses were given for their “new” managers, who should have been addressing the multitude of issues various members of our large group experienced instead of being MIA. Our coffee make produced yellow water with lots of black speck (see picture). Public coffee area was always dirty. Beds were hard. Old/used products were left in the bathroom (see picture of used/old hand cream). Both the pool and gym were out of order. Pool had been out of order when we booked but were not notified. Our large group had booked months ahead and they were not ready for us. They even sent a new guest to an occupied room at 5am. The food on the breakfast was fresh from the freezer (food had to be microwaved to get to an acceptable temp) and their yogurt fridge was empty both days. I paid with a gift card but they had problems processing, so I have a small balance that I can't use, as I have no desire to ever visit a Best Western again.

Got there a little late but they still had a few rooms, room was clean and comfortable, ice machine area was being remodeled but they went out of the way to provide ice at nite and in the morning! Quiet and easy access, good value!

Of course, we only stayed one night, but it was still enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. The coffeemaker was great to have in the room, but location was a bit weird. A nightlight by coffeemaker would have helped so as to see unit, but not disturb persons still sleeping. The free breakfast was very good, and the staff was great. We had a small problem with room phones, but that didn't infringe us in any way.

I am beyond words with my experience at your Bestern Western location in Anderson, Indiana. My girlfriend and I stay at the Best Western because it is the only hotel in Anderson that allows pets and I have an 11 week old puppy and a 1.5 year old dog. We unfortunately had to visit Anderson on Saturday Jan. 6th because my father passed away that morning. We checked in, went to our room to find the TV on and turned to the side...thought nothing of it and spent the day with my family. We came back to our room emotionally drained at approximately 11:30 PM. Let the dogs out of their crate to burn some energy before bed. At about 12:30AM. We noticed our 11 week old puppy had something in his mouth. We pried it out to find a quarter sized black bag with some white powder on the outside of it. We had to cut it open to see what we had to worry about and sure enough it looked like a bag of cocaine or some illicit drug. I don't know if this was a former guest's drugs that wasn't found when the room was improperly cleaned or an employee that hides it in a room. If an 11 week old Beagle can reach it, it was definitely floor level. If he would of penetrated the bag or if our older dog found it one or both of them would more than likely be dead. These dogs are our children, but what if an actual child found it? So at 1AM my girlfriend and I are now worried about whether or not our dog will make it through the night, after just spending the whole day mourning my father. We took the substance and turned it on to the front desk manager. I felt the concern, but didn't feel as much empathy as I could have for the situation. Our new room had a bed that was severely broken but we ignored it since it was just the two of us and we didn't want to move the dogs yet again at such a late hour. We got a receipt for $0 in the morning, which I appreciate and was just going to ignore the negligence of the situation. Then 3 days later I checked my account and noticed a charge for $88.47. This was not a pending charge it was posted. It appears that you can poison my dog, give me a second room that is extremely subpar and decide a $50 discount is a fair trade. I called and spoke with someone at the Anderson Best Western, explained the situation and she giggled and said I heard about that. I told her this is not a laughing matter, she could not tell me about the charges. We are now waiting for her to talk to someone else about the charge. Never stay here or at any Best Westerns.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus for a night as we are traveling further south...... it was very clean..... staff was pleasant.... and our two dogs were accepted with no problem ...... we also have a large RV of which they accommodated us with no issue..... our only issue... “plus” in our experience of which we have stayed at many.... usually has a bar/ restaurant on site ... because after a long day of driving to not have to go anywhere is so nice.....but this one does not have either.......... we therefore called a cab and went elsewhere for dinner and a cocktail....cab drivers were excellent but waiting 35 minutes kind if took away the experience......

When I first pulled into the parking lot I thought about cancelling my reservation and going to one of the other hotels in the area. I have a BW card though and thought I would give it a shot. The outside and parking area look a little rundown, but when I went inside I was pleasantly surprised. They have a very nice reception area with a large sitting room adjacent with a TV and plenty of seating. There is a fireplace, but it was not on when I was there. My room was recently updated and clean. It had a fridge, micro, and a mini Kuerig coffee maker. You could tell this hotel was older, but they have done a nice job with it. The window even opened for those that like fresh air as I do. The hot breakfast was excellent and the hostess was friendly and really took pride in her area.

This will be our go to place when we are in this area. Have stayed at another motel in town and no comparison for the same money. Very clean. Terry and Theresa the desk clerks, are very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. While it is convenient to the interstate it is located far enough away that you don't have interstate traffic noise. Pretty typical hotel chain breakfast but it was good.

We were in town for a college meeting for my son. Many hotels to choose from in the area. Did not pick the cheapest nor the most expensive, middle of the road at about 110 a night for a room. Let's start with the lumpy old mattress's, when I say lumpy that does not even begin to give you an idea of what these were. Then let's move on to the hot tub which is actually a cold tub because their is no heater for it. And my personal favorite was the two bugs not spiders or ants but something big crawling across the bathroom floor while I'm in the tub. Topped of with the moldy smell and it earned our new name for it "The Worst Western:" Please do not stay here.

Usually when overnighting in Indy on business trips (about once per week) - I stay in the Carmel area.. During a recent week in October however - the FFA National Convention was in town and when my office was online looking to book a room - my secretary advised me there was NOTHING available - so I ended up in the Best Western in Anderson for 2 nights... not the most convenient - but as I was shuttling back and forth between Indy and Ft. Wayne for 3 days - actually Anderson (about 30 minutes north of Carmel/Fishers/N. Indy) worked out well.. I was pleasantly surprised at the BWP - although check in did take MUCH too long... the lady at the desk was nice and efficient enough - but she had no back up - and I had to wait while she checked in 4 other guests at about 6:30 PM - note to hotel managers... I am sure you don't want to overstaff as man hours are expensive - but NOBODY wants to wait 30 minutes between front door and walking into the room... ugh.. have some help available for your desk staff! location was convenient enough for car travel - about 1 minute drive off I69 - several restaurant choices within 1 mile.. Other than the check-in glitch however - I was happy - rooms were large, clean, updated and QUIET! the heat in the room felt great on the first really COLD night of the fall.. amenities in the room were good, including quality of toiletries and the Keurig K-cup coffee maker available - the TV remote was even in a cloth bag (stating it was) "freshly cleaned" - a nice touch... TV, fridge, iron, microwave..no issues There was a nice indoor pool on site and the hot-tub feels great at the end of a long day... Common areas were clean/modern and hot breakfast standard/good... All in all - not a 5 star resort on Capri by any means - but perfectly good for business or family travel in the Midwest... recommended..

This hotel does not deserve Best Westerns *plus " rating. We have stayed here numerous times over the last 5 years and it is not as nice as it was a few years ago. The swimming pool and hot tub were again not working. The shower diverter valve was not functional and chair and stool fabric were stained badly. The mattress bottomed out and needs replacement. No fresh fruit was available for breakfast. It is just off the interstate so ask for a room on the backside. We have stayed in better BWs that did not have the "plus" designation.

Stayed here the end of September for a dog event in New Castle. Our experience was good all the way around from being able to snag the only rollaway bed available, to a nice hot breakfast buffet each morning with all the usual fare. Terry at the front desk was especially kind and helpful during the day, as was Jasmine in the evening. Housekeeping kept things nice and tidy for our 4 day stay and parking was convenient and well lit at the wee hours of the morning. The beds were comfy and fresh. The only minor complaint and this is no fault of the hotel itself, was that the bathrooms were super small. The tub/toilet area was fine, but there was almost no counter top around the separate sink area with no place to put thing. Other than that the room was nicely appointed, plenty of room to set things in the main bed area and nice furnishings. Bonus: A Cracker Barrel next door. Never been to one before being from California, but I know understand the Cracker Barrel Cult. I'd definitely stay here again, especially since they allow dogs.

Had reservations for a double queen room and after driving for hours arrived at our stopover for the night. We were told when we arrived that our room was upstairs and the elevator was broken. My 89 year old mother who uses a walker could not walk upstairs. They had one room downstairs with one bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was stained and filthy and the mattress was literally 2 inches thick. My husband decided to pay for a second room upstairs which had a king size bed with a broken mattress. I understand the owner wants to make a profit but this hotel is really bad and needs 1. Elevators to work. 2. Mattresses that are not broken 3. Couches and chairs aren't stained and disgusting. I don't normally write negative reviews...I usually only write reviews abut positive experiences but this was just a bad hotel and needs improving. I'll probably never choose a Best Western again.

The hotel is very dated and shows wear. The commode had dried urine on it. One bed fell off its frame when a person set on it. Lighting is poor in the room and the laboratory area. Bed is lumpy. No TV guide to channels.

Disappointed at check in and continuing. The desk person was not friendly, but did say the elevator was out of order. The room was so, so with cracked grout in the bathroom floor. The good thing we only need one bed, because the second queen bed is broken. There large bugs on inside of the window, so l closed the curtains and the bugs stayed on the window. Then I went to sit on the desk chair and found a skid mark on the chair. I took soap and a towel to clean the skid mark. There is only one ice machine and that is on the first floor, remember the elevator is broken. When I was taking my trip to the ice machine, I was an older couple with suitcases looking for the elevator. I guess the desk clerk forgot to tell them about the broken elevator. Now, I still have breakfast to look forward to, I don't have a lot of hope for anything good, so at l sat I won't be disappointed.

Have you seen the episode where Jerry goes to pick up his rental car that he had a reservation for....and there was no car? " Ohhh.... so you have no problem Taking the reservation, but your not so good Holding the reservation!?" Booked and paid for reservation months ago through Trip Advisor.... Called before I left Illinois to confirm.....arrived at noon and was informed the room would not be ready until 3:00 pm.. I said "how about 5:00 pm?" She said OK. We arrived at 6:00 pm and were told that they had no rooms and their manager was calling to book us a room at another hotel....and refund my money... We were sent to a very low quality location....I won't mention until we are in a safe place.... Very disappointed

The hotel would be fine, except in room 220 there were bedbugs and I had to move to another room. I would've moved to another hotel if any were available. There was a plastic bag like wrapper around the mattress too, so I wonder if they knew about the bedbugs and put me in that room anyway?

We were here 4 nights. Nice, large, quiet rooms. Good bed. Helpful Staff. Easy access to the interstate and lots of Restaurants in the area. The Breakfast included with your room was a notch above the normal. Hot food first morning was a choice of ham, sausage, eggs, sausage gravy and waffles your usual sweet rolls, bread, biscuits, dry cereal, yogurt etc. Pricing was a good value for the amenities.

Spent the weekend down in Anderson for a family trip. First impression of the hotel gave a calm feeling. When we first walked in it was ELEGANT! For us it was top notch at a low price! Room keys work excellent, room was clean, very cute decor and was provided with a "Fresh remote"! To our famiy, it felt like a 5 star hotel for a 3 star price. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for your reservations

Very nice hotel with appropriate upkeep, but the customer service on behalf of the staff was less than great, not even good at best. I work at a Best Western in KY and even arrived in my uniform to check in... that didn't seem to phase their lackluster greeting and their body language. There was an older lady at the front desk and a housekeeper behind the desk on the computer. Neither one greeted us, although I was the first to say hello... I mentioned my BWR and she seemed annoyed that she had to go to the hassle of more steps on the computer... She left a bad taste in my mouth and I was very disappointed in her "front desk/first impression" appearance - wearing a hoodie and hair didn't look like she cared about her appearance. No smile, no positivity. Maybe we caught her on a bad day, so I'll give her benefit of the doubt. Otherwise, rooms were nice and breakfast was enjoyable.

The staff was so helpful. Cannot say thank you enough. The breakfast was great. I also enjoyed the fitness room. The hotel was very clean. Everything was nice and neat. I was able to bring my Yorkie for a small fee. Which help with this trip tremendously.Thanks Best Western Plus.

The pool is filthy. The hot tub is taped off and has mold at the bottom. An employee told us it's been like that for 11 months at least. She knew it was like that and still let us in. I stuck my toe in the water and couldn't even see it. The water was freezing. The was was a nasty green foggy color. Totally not able to swim in. Really bad WiFi, and water pressure in the shower. Lazy staff as well. Super disappointed...

Not matching toilet seat with toilet, bathtub faucet very loose, wall shelf by song was about to come off the drywall. Pool too much chemicals, hot tub was broken. The staff were helpful but these unresolved maintenance issues left a bad memory of the hotel in general.

The customer service at this hotel makes it easy to overlook that the rooms could use a little updating. The front desk was friendly and professional. This team deserves a raise. When I arrived at 4p (check in is at 3p), some of the rooms weren't ready, including mine. The staff was apologetic and made every effort to make the guests comfortable, while they waited. My family lives in the area and I will choose to stay here again and again because of the staff.

Very clean rooms. Staff very helpful, courteous and attentive to our needs. Room was ready at check-in time. Didn't require housekeeping second day but the housekeeping staff saw us in the hallway and asked if there was anything they could get us. Left before breakfast second day and desk clerk offered coffee, juice and fruit to take with us. We wouldn't stay anywhere else when we travel to Anderson.

We were attending an event in Indianapolis. The hotel is older. Areas are not modern. Our room was clean and everything worked properly. The breakfast was good and the attendant even started the breakfast early to accommodate. The front desk person was cold and almost rude to a member of our travelling party. There is a Cracker Barrel in the parking lot adjoining this property and many restaurants within driving distance.

pet friendly room but had to share with two cockroaches!!! We needed to bring our dog to the area. We selected the highest rated motel with a pet friendly room or we thought. We got to the motel tired around 8 pm and killed our first cockroach at 9 pm. Would have left then but too late so we made sure our bags we zipped and up on the dressers. Never again!

do not stay here unless you check it out first. The pool and hot tub were very bad. The television service was not good and the internet worked only intermittently. The staff were aware of these problems and couldn't or wouldn't do anything to fix them.

"Room itself was fine, otherwise a little disappointed"

We were disappointed because after check in, we found out the hot tub was out of order and the swimming pool was freezing-almost unusable. Also, side door to the hotel doesn't close properly so no card swipe needed-anyone can walk in. Tried to bring up concerns with front desk but manager wasn't available in the evening. In the morning, the front desk person was on the phone each time I checked and then we finally just left. Mattress wasn't particularly comfortable, but room was ok. Noticed areas of the hotel with water damage, etc. Looks like it needs a little attention. Would try a different hotel if we came back.

Nice place for the price. The breakfast was not as good as other Best Western hotels. But a nice clean place with a nice clean pool! Close to interstate and other places to eat. Close to Indianapolis so you can stay a less expensive hotel.

Our family reunion was hosted in Anderson, IN this year and several family members from througout the country stayed at this location. There was another reunion, as well as a church group and this location the same weekend. Throughout the weekend the hotel consistently ran out of clean towels, housekeeping never cleaned the rooms on the 2nd floor (although their carts sat on the floor from 9a-5p) on one day, fitness center equipment malfunctioned almost causing injury, among several other things. I mentioned a few of these issues with the manager when I checked out, she took $50 off of my $200+ total and I was told due to a completely booked weekend, these things were to be expected. I will not stay at this, or possibly any other Best Western again.

Very friendly staff. Need a few fixer upper issues noted pertaining to rooms etc. Staff did a great job assisting with an early arrival and late departure. My bed fell off the support system, internet connectivity was a bit of an issue, missing iron in the room when I got there. Breakfast area was very warm to sit an eat. Fruit needs to be fresh!!

We stayed here on 2 occasions recently on a trip south. The first stay, was on 6/29/17. We checked in around 10pm and the employee was somewhat friendly but very short with me. We were given a room at the end of the hall on the 1st floor and told the door on the side if the building would be easiest for us to enter. I was NOT told that if I wanted to get to that door that I had to go OUT of the parking lot and park in the back of the restaurant next door. Being as it was just my teen daughter and I traveling, I opted to park in from of the hotel entrance and walk the halls as a safer option. We were placed directly next to the stairs and heard a lot of noise all night long as stairs are open in the main hallway directly outside our door. We chalked it up to 1 night of noise and decided to give the place a 2nd chance on our trip back north 2 weeks later. On 7/15 We checked In around 9:30pm and this time the employee was NOT very friendly and seemed very put out by the line of people requesting towels since there were none in the pool and none in their rooms. I asked to use the rewards points we had accumulated and was told she had to deal with printing thst and to come back later to sign papers. At this time I also stated thst we did NOT want to be near the stairs and would prefer to be upstairs as it was just myself and daughter and we would prefer NOT to be on the main floor. I was then told that because we had a small dog (under 10lbs and was completely diapered during stay) we could not be placed upstairs. I then specifically asked thst if we can not be upstairs that we be placed away from the stairs. She told me "I put you on the other side". We get to the room and it is NEXT TO THE FIRST ROOM AT THE BOTTOM OF THE STAIRS!!! I was so frustrated and tired from a long day of driving and hauling in our items that I did not fight this. After finally getting settled in the room and ready to call it a night, the carbon monoxide detector begins beeping loudly for new batteries. I call the front desk for maintenance and am told that she doesn't know where the new batteries are kept and we would have to wait until the night maintenance man arrived for the night to fix it. This was about a half hour later at 11:30pm. Finally done and ready to sleep but there must have been a party upstairs because there was constant stomping all night long!! As we went to leave in the morning there were 2 employees at the front desk when we walked out, neither of which even looked up at us much less said anything to us. We did kill 1 large bug in the room and many small nats flying around the bathroom area. We refused to use the shower after seeing how dirty and disgusting the back side of the shower liner was. Looked like it hadn't been changed or washed in at least 2 months. I think this place needs some better training in a few areas of customer service and cleanliness. We stayed in other hotels on our trip for lower rates that were much friendlier and cleaner. And FYI to management, if a woman is travelling alone or with another woman, it's standard practice to NOT place them on the 1st level of the hotel. 2nd floor is safer and denying this request is poor practice. I advice anyone looking for a hotel to check around. There are many other options in that same area.

"Klipsch alternative"

We wanted to avoid the pricey hotels near the Klipsch Music venue. This was maybe 15 minutes away and when we took the backroads we got into the Legacy parking without any trouble. Took us longer to walk to the car after the concert than to get out of the parking lot. Great experience

This was by far the most enjoyable stay at a hotel I have ever had. I will go out of my way to stay at a Best Western Plus whenever I travel. Would recommend anyone staying in Anderson, IN to stay here.

I have stayed here a few times but this was not so good. I didn't lock the door and 2 employees walked in without knocking. The bed was located with the air conditioner blowing right across it which made it hard to sleep. You either got to hot or to cold

We stayed at Best Western Plus inn anderson. The hotel itself was nice, but our room air conditioner sounded like a jet engine and it barely cooked the room. I had ear plugs in and it still kept me awake all night. The hotel was sold out so we couldn't get another room. Hotel staff couldn't seem to care less. I won't stay at this hotel and I'd recommend that you stay away too.

Clean comfortable hotel easy to get to and close to a dozen good eating places. Bathrooms a little tight. But they have done a lot of upgrades. They seemed to be tight on shampoo soap and wash clothes. But a good experience and would recommend this place. We were there for 4 nights

Great stay overall. Enjoyed the hot tub, nice breakfast, very comfortable bed. Walking distance to many restaurants. Will definitely stay again . NIce hotel for the price.. I even booked a 2nd day while I was there.

It's been a while since I've stayed at Best Western (changed their points policy in the early 2000's so I left) but the location and price were right and they fixed their points program around 2010 so I gave them a try, and I'm glad I did. It was everything I remember liking about BW and they are now back on my list of hotels to check and use. A wonderful property with great service and a good breakfast.

Convenient location to I69 and casino. Very helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast was nicer than most. Easy, free parking. We stayed in a two room suite and the bedroom was a little cramped but not uncomfortable.

I would look for a nicer place to stay te next time in Anderson, IN. The maid service needs improving. Didn't make beds, vacuum, clean on days 2 and 3 of our 3 day stay. Tv not working in living area. Bathroom floor needs updating.. Toilet too low for Seniors. Plastic seat was wiggly.

This hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Good breakfast with plenty of hot and cold options. The guest rooms are spacious. My son will be going to college at Anderson University, and we will definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting.

We booked this trip like a month ago for a family vacation and seen this hotel was a good rating so we tried it and when we checked in and got to the room we noticed there was candy wrappers on the floor still and also there were no hand towels or wash clothes nor extra bedding sheets. Was not happy when we had to ask the check in lady 2 times for the stuff because she was too worried about talking to a friend of hers and not taking care of us.

Ask to make sure all beds are new (For comfort reasons). I am a previous hip surgery patient along with slight scoliosis issues. Beds are #1 concern for me. Unfortunately our room had older mattresses and discomfort for me.

It is time again for the Indianapolis 500 so that means we are back in Anderson, Indiana and our annual visit to Best Western Plus. As last year, and a number of year prior, we were very happy with our room and the service provided by the Best Western staff. We will be back next year before we go to the 2018 Indy 500.

Great place to stay with a dog. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice and clean with a nice pool and hot tub. A restaurant is within walking distance. It's easy to get on and off expressway.

"Don't think I would stay here again"

1. reserved a King room, got to the room and it was a double. 2. There was food in the fridge from whoever had the room before us. 3. It was a two night stay, and our room did not get made up in-between days. We had to go down to the front desk to get fresh towels. 4. Now the big one, The car next to us in the parking lot had a four tires stolen over night.

1. We reserved a King bed and were given a double. 2. It was a 2 night stay and our room did not get made up between days. 3. A car in the parking lot had all 4 tires stolen over night. I have the picture to prove it.

"One night too many"

Thankfully we only had to spend one night at this hotel during our recent visit to Anderson, IN. We stayed several miles away in another hotel but had to move to the Best Western Plus on our last day. First I'd like to say that the front desk clerk was extremely friendly. This is supposedly a non- smoking hotel but it clearly is NOT. Our room absolutely wreaked of stale smoke. It was AWFUL! We used two travel sized bottles of Febreeze. We woke up at 3 AM and felt sick from the strong odor. The carpet was filthy in the room and there was also a nice layer of dust along the top of the drapes, and dirty cobwebs on the ceiling in the bathroom. The bathroom sink was so tiny we just left everything in our toiletry bag. It was also poorly lit. Never again. I admit to being a very particular traveler, more picky than most, but I don't think any non smoker would be able to handle the smell. I'm not even sure a smoker would like it. Also the TV kept going out. The hotel was completely sold out for a bowling tournament at the casino and there was also a Prince tribute the night before. The kuerig coffee maker, fridge and microwave were nice though.

"Springtime Bugs"

We arrived very late and only stayed 1 night. One of the beds was not stationary and we had to have the front desk person come up to get it set back on its base. And then there were stink bugs. (Blister bugs as some people call them). We were able to get rid of 2. The following morning one of our party was stung/bitten by one. The bathroom needs to be upgraded. A very musty smell in the toilet / shower area. Floor tile grout crumbling. The beds were ok. Easy to find and next door to a Cracker Barrel.

Overall this hotel experience was very similar to hotels charging $50 more per night. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Service personnel were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who's is budget conscience but still want a relaxing experience.

My sister & I decided to just get away from all the stress, and drama in real life for a couple days. I booked the room knowing nothing about it, just the few reviews I had read. We arrived early evening, lobby always gives me an idea of a place. it was clean, and the young man behind the counter was very nice. Got to our room first impression was very nice, we were close to the pool area, and the maids work area. Truthfully it was pretty quiet. We decided to spend 2 nights, so we went to the lobby and booked an additional night. The breakfast they served was wonderful. eggs,bacon,ham,sausage,waffles,cold cereal, yogurt, toast, ect. The pool & spa area was nice, that I seen no one else took advantage of it, we had the whole place to ourselves. pool water was cold, but the spa was wonderful. Now I do have to mention the negative along with all the positives, this is just to hopefully help to improve a little. We had some trouble with the heat/ac unit, just could not keep a consistent temperature in the room. I watch a lot of Gordon Ramsey, latest show motel hell. So I ran my finger inside the slats of the unit and yep it was filthy and dusty, probably why it was not working efficiently. Which brought me to check the tops of the beds and pictures, sadly the maids are a tad sloppy in their cleaning, lots of just surface cleaning. But like I said overall a pretty nice place to stay.

We booked this hotel for our bowling team for State Tournament. The room was nice, with plenty of room to lounge around in. One of my friends and I retreated to the common area for some late night drinks and talk, and were bothered a bit by the pool guests who were a little rambunctious. The desk clerk, Emily came right out and put a stop to the disturbance. Shortly after a little boy decided it was a prime time to try out his remote control car in the hallway. Once again, Emily came to our rescue and shut down the impromptu Daytona 500 as well. Upon checking out , the morning clerk, Ken asked how the stay was, and we informed him of our late night misadventures. He apologized and gave us a discount on our room! BTY, the breakfast buffet was one of the better ones I've seen with anything you could want. We will stop back to see Emily and Ken again!

Overall the stay was nice. There was a smell to the room like it hadn't been used in awhile. I thought we had booked a king size room but ended up with a handicap room although there was a lot of room in the bathroom I didn't care for the shower having to use a handheld shower head.

My husband and I stayed there for 5 nights. On day three I put away all of our personal items and went to the front desk and asked the guy behind the desk if they could change all the linens. He said absolutlely and there was also a maid there and she said of course. !! When I returned to my room later that day the beds were made but noticed the pillow cases and sheets were very wrinkled. They didn't know that there was a nosebleed the night before and there was one drop of blood on pillow and one drop of blood on top sheet. Much to my chagrin the blood drops were still on the "changed linens". Also the first thing we saw when we arrived at the hotel that spoke volumes was that there was a round toilet seat on an oval toilet. about 3 inches of porcelain was sticking out under the plastic seat..this screams.."we don't care"..before we checked into the hotel we asked the clerk alot of questions about the room and it being cleaned and all..unfortunately I don't believe anything she told us. There also seems to be a shortage of towels. When we have stayed at other motels for a length of time they stock us up with plenty of towels..we had to ask for towels and washcloths every single day and it was like pulling teeth to have them come..we even had to ask twice a couple of times. The breakfast was ok, they did have a few healthy choices. The entry way into the pool had a very strong smell of smoke..bathroom in pool was dirty at 11:00 in the afternoon. We won't be staying here again and I don't advise any of our friends to stay there because obviously someone has a problem with telling the truth.

It's an average property, nothing to distinguish it. Breakfast choices are few, but for a quick sleep and a clean room, this will do. The pool was closed and the area around the pool reeked of chlorine. The ashtrays are right outside the doors, not adhering to the 8 foot state law, so every entrance smelled of smoke. When we entered, there were two staff at the desk, too preoccupied to acknowledge us. But once we got checked in, it was an okay stay. There are better hotels in the area.

The hotel is comfy, clean and conveniently located. Their breakfast offerings have a lot if variety: make-your-own waffles, eggs and bacon and ham, brand name yogurt, many breads, two kinds of coffee. Great for kids: everyone can find something to make then happy.

We stayed two separate times here - once on the way to St. Louis and then on the way home. The first time our air conditioner/heater was very noisy and we told the front desk on the way out. When we returned we were given the same room and were told that it had been replaced. We discovered that it was and worked well. Nice job! The rooms are well insulated and were comfortable with a King bed, refrigerator, microwave and Kuerig coffee maker. Be sure to request the 2nd floor (only a 2 story) so you won't be by the pool or lobby/breakfast area. The breakfast was very tasty. We would stay here again!

After leaving Hampton Inn because there was not a whirlpool at the pool, as listed on the hotel's website, I came to this hotel. The desk clerk at check in was very nice. Once i checked in I found a cheaper price for the room. I called down and asked if they had a price match guarantee. She said, "no". But asked what price I found. Then she said, "I can do that for you". Nice, easy way to show good customer service! The whirlpool was hot enough to work up a sweat after 10 minutes or so. Although I would have liked it a little hotter. I did not eat the breakfast. But I did take a look before leaving, so I could write about it. It looked GREAT. Hot, fresh scrambled eggs. Big pieces of ham, along with bacon, and sausage. Sausage gravy and biscuits. Breads, yogurt, juice machine, etc. This was on a Sunday morning. I don't know if it is the same through the week. The "bad" things...While in the pool area I noticed a chunk of ceiling missing. They had put up plastic using 1x4" wood. But part of the plastic had pulled out. This can cause mold pretty quickly. I went to use the phone in the pool area to let the front desk know I used the last towel (at about 4pm. It should have been full of towels for the others guest sure to use the pool that night.) The phone was dead. BIG issue if there was a medical emergency. I walked to the front desk. She said they knew about it, but didn't know the problem. The room had a light bulb out in the bathroom. Not a big deal. There was also a crusty, white substance that showed up easily on the end of the dark red circular throw pillow. Just a few more examples showing that they are not looking to make the hotel an "excellent" place to stay. The bed was very firm. But I slept well.

All aspects of our stay were good. Room condition, business center computers, bed comfort, large, flat screen TV. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. For hot items they had bacon, sausage and ham, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits and make your own Belgium waffles. I thought the nightly rate we paid was on the high end, however. Considering the location, Anderson, IN, I thought the nightly rate should have been about $20.00 less than we paid.

I stayed at this Best Western Plus while doing some training for work. The room seemed ok but my bathtub had a bandaid stuck to the bottom of it. The roof in the pool area was caving in with water damage. The channel list they had for the TV didn't even come close to accurate with hundreds of unavailable channels. I was here for 3 days and the wifi was not working the entire time of my stay. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was adequate. Overall not a very good experience.

This is an older hotel, but clean. Could use some updating. Staff were friendly and check in was easy. The hotel is easy to get to and is right next door to a Cracker Barrel. It is located about 5 minutes from the casino, which is why we picked it.

I recently spent a night at this hotel. Check in was friendly and efficient. The room was very spacious and inviting. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast the next morning was good, although there was some difficulty in keeping the selections filled. The entire staff was very accommodating. I would give this hotel a five, except it is not that well marked unless you have gps. I finally saw a sign well up in the air marking its location. I would stay here again, especially now that I know where it is!!

We were in town for a family reunion. Got to the hotel late and saw a plumbing truck out front pumping water out into the parking lot. I knew that couldn't be good and it wasn't. They had a burst in the main water line and the water was turned off. Went ahead and checked in and went to bed. Was told the water problem would be fixed by 8:00 A.M. Got up the next morning and still no water. Pluming truck was still there. Went to our cousins and cleaned up for the day. They kept telling us to check out and stay with them but I didn't want to put them out. Went back over around noon to get some things out of the room. Now there is no water or power. They found out there was electrical lines down in the water. Was able to find my room with the flashlight on my phone. They were cleaning the room so I got what I needed and left. After several hours of discussing this we were convinced to go ahead and check out. When I got back there my keys wouldn't work. The manager reprogrammed them twice and they still wouldn't work. She came up and got us in the room. We gathered everything up and told them we were checking out. She gave us the managers business card and told us to contact her about our bill and they showed us checking out. I waited a couple weeks for the dust to settle and contacted them. They were very friendly and refunded the entire amount of our stay. I want to add that they were friendly throughout the entire experience and had bottled water available for anyone who wanted it. This is just something that happened. No ones fault so I don't want to give them a bad review because of it. They did everything they could under the circumstances.

Stayed here for a week on business and it's a nice hotel, but could stand a bit of upgrades! The room and carpet is pretty outdated. The carpet was a bit dirty and one of the sliding closet doors was broken. I had a two queen size bedroom, which was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was great! There was three different types of meat (i.e. bacon, ham, sausage), fresh cooked scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, toast, cereal, juice, coffee etc...The staff was also friendly! There is plenty of parking spaces, and the hotel is located right off of the highway. The area has plenty of eateries and the hotel is right up the street from Hoosier Casino and Race track. I did not get to go there, but maybe next time I'm there on business :)

Overall great stay. The morning breakfast and staff were awesome and much better than similar priced hotels in this group. The staff were just much more friendly and polite than I usually run into. great stay. We did not use pool or fitness center. WIFI was good and room was fine.

We visited in September to attend a family wedding, and the hotel was great. We were greeted by a nice young lady, Kortney, who was very helpful throughout our entire stay. She informed us of places to eat, things to do, helped us get extra things we needed, and was a very polite and well rounded worker. I told her several times that she deserved a raise simply because she was always willing to help. Loved interacting with her and we will definitely be back!

We needed a place to stop for the night between Indianapolis and Kalamazoo. Anderson's Best Western Plus was affordable and offered a good nights stay. The room and facilities were clean and conveniently located. Their full, hot breakfast was an especially nice treat as well. Would recommend.

The cleaning staff is wonderful - but, they can only do so much - There were (stains) on the bedspreads and the large round bed pillows as well as on the small rack where most people put their suit cases. We also noticed several tears in the carpet and some peeling paint spots on the walls. We have been staying here at least once a year for 4 or 5 years now and it has always been an enjoyable experience. But common sense will tell you that every so often the rooms need to be upgraded or refreshed. I would say that time has come for the Best Western Plus - Anderson, IN. - Other than that, you could not ask for a better place to stay and a friendlier, more helpful staff.

Stayed one night. Good breakfast and the ladies that run it are very nice and friendly. Was at casino night before so didn't use the pool and hot tub until after breakfast--no one else in there but us--that was nice. Quiet, clean and decent parking. No complaints or hassles. I have never used one of those hotel book coupons at the rest areas but my sister grabbed some on the way (I-70W). I had called from casino to ask if they had a room and how much, then asked about the coupon. Got room for about half off with coupon.

Took kids for a getaway. They had a blast in the hotel's indoor pool. There were several restaurants in the area. Plus there is a shuttle to and from Hoosier Park for the adults. Reasonable in pricing, very quiet and clean. Definitely planning a return trip. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Best Western Anderson, Indiana is a GREAT place to hang out and play when you are spending a day at the track. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. The rooms are clean. The lobby and guest dining area very comfortable and welcoming. Prices are good value for amenities. I'd recommend this hotel without reservation.

The bed was wonderful, the room was very quiet, Housekeeping was great, Front desk staff did not have a clue, from day1 right up thru day 6. We paid in advance to get a better rate, knowing that short of death, we were staying. When we arrived to check in I was asked for a credit card, and charged for 3 nights, I had already paid in advance for 6 nights. She only put us in for 3, and then the second day we were locked out, room keys deactivated 4 hours prior to check out time, plus we had 4 more days to stay. this happened 2 more times throughout our stay. when we were ready to leave I had a note to pay for 3 additional nights, since they had only charged me for 3 on check in.

We stayed here a second time for Colts Training Camp, since the staff was so friendly. We upgraded to a suite and had plenty of room for our toddler. The front desk staff were as helpful and friendly as we remembered them to be. The pool could have used some cleaning. People had been smoking in there. The pool is heated, which is nice. Our room was very clean this time. It's not the nicest we've started in but the room was nice overall. The staff really make the experience!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was reasonably priced. I couldn't believe how great breakfast was. And, it was FREE. The workout room offered a variety of machines. The employees were nice. If I had any complaints, it would be that we didn't have a nice view. The window faced trees and shrubbery.

For the 3rd or 4th time, we have made a business trip to Anderson IN and stayed at the Best Western Plus. If we make another trip to Anderson, we will try to stay here again. Clean, comfortable bed. Quiet. Good breakfast with nice variety. Red Lobster and Cracker Barrel nearby. What more could a person ask for?

Stayed one evening (July 22). From check in to check out, the experience was very pleasant. Our stay was related to a concert at the casino. I was expecting problems (water, etc) based on recent reviews. However, my experience with staff, amenities, and facility was great. The staff provided helpful info regarding casino, eateries, etc. the room was very clean, well stocked and very comfortable. But the real surprise was the next morning at the "full" breakfast buffet. An excellent selection of well prepared delights exceeded my expect ions of " free breakfast". Great job by all!

Imagine driving for 8 hours, tired, dirty and yearning for a shower. You check into a hotel, get a room, settle in then discovering there's no running water, not hot water. Ouch! Yep that's what happened - We managed as best as we could, went out for dinner and used the provided bottled water to freshen up. Next morning - still no water BUT the breakfast was great. The manage offered to charge 50$ for the night but I still see a full payment on my CC so I called for a refund/credit. Crossing my fingers.

Hi, pulled in late with my kids. Nice that they still had some juice / coffee / yogurt out for a nice snack after driving to long. Breakfast was nice, Kids liked the waffle mix. Almond Milk if you wanted it. It was a nice clean hotel. Unfortunately my bed was worn out with a big depression that made my sleep very poor. Kids said there bed was not very comfortable either.

We arrive on July 2, 2016 and one of the guest greet us at the door and says there is no hot water there was a water main break last night!!! I go in and talk to the front desk person and I asked her directly I understand there is a water issue...she says everything is working perfectly!!! We get to our room and it's clean and nice, I ask my husband to run the hot water...there was no hot water...the lady at the front desk just lied..I called the front desk and I reached another front desk person and she says the manager is giving everyone half off their stay and a company is on the way to fix the hot water issue. We arrived around 3 we got hot water around 7. Upon check out (we had paid cash) the original front desk person was there (in my head I said oh Lord) I remind her of the half off our room she said I have to get approval from the manager, I had to call corporate and corporate called the front desk --- needless to say she had my money in hand. There free breakfast was awesome..I will give them that.

We had booked to stay 2 nights and the 1st night we were without water from about 10:00 pm until about 2:00 pm the next afternoon. We had to go out and buy water to even try and flush the toilet, and had to wash up with a small bottle of water we'd brought. Then the 2nd day when they changed our towels, they left the door open on the security bar. The staff were not helpful at all and did not give any updates on the water issue, in fact seemed upset that we were asking about it. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

Our stay at the Best Western Plus in Anderson was very nice. The beds were very comfortable, the room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities, the hotel provided a great assortment of breakfast items and the indoor pool area was a lot of fun; especially the exceptionally large hot tub. The only issue we had was with their closet feature. It was too shallow to close the doors after hanging garments; thus with where it was located, made it cumbersome to open the door leading into the room. They would have been better just to leave the closet door off. But other than this, we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for one night at Best Western. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and nice, they explained breakfast to us and called the shuttle when we were ready to go to Hoosier Park. No complaints there. However, we were put in Room 228 which is directly above the lobby and it was so loud all night. We could hear rolling suitcases and every noise you could think of. And when breakfast started the next morning, we could hear the beeping of the waffle maker as if it were in our own room. I had a terrible night of sleep. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and comfortable. I would stay again if I were in town but I would specifically request a room down one of the corridors, away from the lobby and breakfast area.

The BEST Best Western!! Modern, updated and super clean. The receptionist was very kind and hospitable. The price is reasonable already but when you see the rooms lobby and pool, it's a steal of a deal! Definitely recommend!!

The hotel service was exceptional. However, a big downside is the overwhelming smell of mold in the pool area making the pool virtually unusable. I have stayed in countless hotels and none came even close to the smell of mold at this facility. It must actually be a serious health hazard and I am surprised that health authorities haven't taken action to get this problem fixed.

Stayed after concert. We had a comfy king bed. Keurig-type coffee maker in room. Amazing full breakfast - fruit, baked goods, biscuits and gravy, waffles, potatoes, bacon, eggs, cereal. Very good! Clean hotel with friendly staff. No complaints.

Stayed overnight with kids. They loved the pool and the staff was courteous and helpful with warm towels! The breakfast was fresh and very good. Front desk staff spoke to my children and made them feel welcome. The room was well prepared and the shower had great water pressure and was hot. The toilet flushes quietly so I didn't wake anyone up at night. Plenty of electrical outlet and nicely decorated. It was a great experience!

Stayed at the Best Western Anderson with my wife and son were visiting Anderson University as a potential college to attend. The facility is well kept and clean and the staff is friendly. Of the two rooms we had, one had an issue with the air conditioner working. Mechanical failures happen, no problem. The staff was extremely accommodating in finding an alternative room and allowed us to check out the room before committing to it. I would definitely stay here again. And the breakfast... Not the run of the mill continental breakfast, eggs bacon sausage a great hot breakfast. Very tasty.

This is one of the BEST Best Western hotels I have stayed at. I HIGHLY recommend it. Hotel is newer BUT very clean and well maintained. Breakfast times were excellent and hot and displayed well. Quite rooms did not hear much hallway noise. Hotel is right off interstate with plenty of food locations very close.

Our first time at this hotel. We have a small dog and they were very pet friendly. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very helpful. Our room was spacious and very clean. They offer a hot breakfast is more than adequate. Since we have family in the area, we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Best Western Plus in Anderson, Indians for the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500. WE have stayed at the best Western for the last three years. We have been very satisfied with this hotel and are already booked the race weekend for next year.

The hotel was in a very safe location and easy on and off the interstate. The lobby and public areas were very clean. The room was spacious and very clean. Excellent nights sleep. Breakfast was very nice and the ladies (yes 2 of them to keep things well supplied) were very friendly. I was surprised that 3 meats were on the buffet! Lots of toppings were also offered for the fresh made waffles. Cereals were available but, I would liked to have had oatmeal or grits. Our room was very quiet and you could hear birds singing in the morning. There were also bird feeders on the back side of the hotel (outside the windows of the breakfast area) We will stay at this location again and since they impressed me so I will look to stay at other Best Western hotels in my travels.

This Best Western Hotel is one that you would love to stay for a few days. I wish I could have adventured in the area and enjoyed the hotel more. The Breakfast was amazing and well assembled. I had a pet room and that was very nice, my puppy had no problems with other dog smells.

I was very pleased with my stay. I came for work in this town and was very happy and comfortable staying. Well kept, and friendly staff. Beds were very cozy, but could use an update on the pillows. Haha. Pool area is super nice with a hot tub. Breakfast was very good! Love that they offer dairy and gluten free options!

When we arrived the service was great and it was very convenient towards town. Out room air conditioner was not working so thank god our windows cracked. The keys were not working for the pool so you had to get the front desk to come open the doors and the hot tub didn't work. The room was clean and ok for what we needed. Food was good. On Tuesday there was happy hour for families which was very neat. Not sure if we will be back.

My biggest complaint was the lumpy bed. The mattress was broken down - well past it's life span. To avoid the worst lumps, I tried to sleep in the middle - slightly better. I had just finished nearly 12 hours in the air, delayed flights, flight changes, racing between gates, customs, car rentals and finally an hour on the road at midnight. I didn't need a lumpy mattress. I needed a good sleep nights sleep. I told the lady on checkout that the bed was in serious need of a new mattress. I hope they actually deal with it. Housekeeping needs a bit more attention. There was no tissue in the tissue box. The hand lotion had already been used with about one quarter gone and the top broken and put back on the bottle. That felt weird - like I was in someone elses room. Desk clerks were very professional and friendly. The common areas are well kept and clean. I would stay at this hotel again - provided they update their mattresses and talk to housekeeping about the small details.

I had a very nice stay at Best Western and the breakfast was great. However, the bedding was frayed and there was grease or oil spots on the bed skirt - which was disappointing. However it was spacious and a very comfortable. The front desk person was very cordial and helpful. Thanks!

We always stay at Choice Privilege hotels and are normally satisfied with the Choice properties. This hotel did not meet our expectations and was not up to Choice standards. The tub and shower area was very dirty. The floor around the fridge and night stands needed to be vacummed. The bed skirt and shower curtains were soiled. The dresser was shimmed with paper towels. There was a 2x4 board holding up the vanity. I would not recommend this facility. We will not stay there again.

My wife and I stopped here last year for the same reason (the last leg in our journey home from Florida). It was terrific last year and hasn't changed. Our room was large, modern and clean. The bed was comfortable. The prices were reasonable for what we got. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was large and loaded with a large variety of yummy items. Even though we were unable to attend, we were informed of a "Happy Hour" early evening reception that had a nice variety of treats. The only thing that I found to be negative was the pool / spa area. The room is set up with almost no ventilation and the atmosphere in that area is so hot and humid that it is almost stifling. See ya next year!!!!

"An ok hotel"

I'll start with the good. The front desk staff at this hotel was very helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to make my stay a good one. It was obvious that they staff truly cares about their guests. They do a great job and should be commended for it. On the other hand, the facility itself was not great. Despite the building appearing to be fairly new, there were a lot of minor maintenance issues that need addressing. These range from light bulbs that need replaced in common areas, to exercise equipment malfunctioning to a giant hole in the ceiling near the pool. At no point in time during my stay did I see a maintenance employee on site, or for that matter, a manager.

We stopped over night on our way to Missouri. This hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast in the morning was good and had plenty of choices to choose from. We weren't there for a long stay, but what we did experience we'd definitely stop again.

My wife and I stayed here when we visited our daughter at school. We have stayed at both the Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn and due to late booking on our part, we stayed here. It is not bad if your looking for an average hotel. Lobby was clean, food area was clean. Our room had a slight smell to it. The AC fan is not loud enough to drown out all of the foot steps that you hear all night long but cooled off the room. We were by the steps so that didn't help either. As long as someone is walking around, you hear it. My wife thought someone was training for a marathon with all of the running around last night. The shower drain was very slow so I wasn't sure if I was taking a shower or a bath. The beds were not bad, I've had worse. The young woman at the front desk was very nice and very friendly. We did not have many interactions with anyone else so I won't comment. Would I stay here again, probably not. Please let me be clear, the hotel is not horrible just not very quiet and not the greatest. We will definitely be back over the next 3 yrs but will most likely stay at another hotel. Note: I won't comment on things I did not engage or have involvement with. Hope this helps.

We wanted to get away for the Valentine Day weekend. We decided to spend the night at the Best Western Plus in Anderson. I was very pleased with the appearance of our room. It was clean and nice. The free breakfast buffet was very nice. A wide variety of selections and helpful staff. The pool had some damage to the ceiling in the corner due to what looked like a snow build up. But the pool was still open and was very nice. Check in was simple and smooth. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a nice hotel and we were very happy with our experience. We would suggest this hotel to our friends and family in the future.

There is all the essential for a breef staying in Anderson. The price is also convenient. Personnel kind and professional. Breakfast reach of food variety. Building and room are not new or they seems not new. Daily cleaning seems ok. A little bit more care in maintenance and deep cleaning could be helpfull for a better feeling.

Overall it was a great stay! The room was large and very clean. Breakfast was hot which was nice but mediocre in taste. However, I didn't expect much and it was nice to eat a hot breakfast before getting back on the road. My three year old LOVED his stay there :)

This hotel was as expected. The pool/hot tub was closed for maintenance but that didn't upset me too much. It appears to be an older building but inside the room was right on par with other hotels in the area. We did have a toilet issue (had to hold the lever down to actually flush it), but it didn't bother us. Parking is tight. We came in with a truck and so did about 10 others. It was difficult to fit in any spot when we arrived late at night. Overall, my biggest gripe would be parking, there's not enough of it. I would stay here again if I needed to for work.

The hotel was very clean. The staff were friendly and very professional. The hot breakfast was a very good deal. There was a good variety of food to choose from. The king room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

When our motor home required emergency service while traveling south we needed motel rooms while repairs were completed at the nearby Freightliner dealer. Tashaini was at the front desk when I called Sunday afternoon and again Monday when repairs took longer than expected. She was extremely helpful and helped get us the best rate both times. We were traveling with pets and requested ground floor rooms with easy access to exits. Tashaini exemplified the best in customer service one could ask for!! Rooms were nice and clean, and the buffet breakfast was varied and excellent. Very nice eating area as well with gas fireplace. USA Today and local papers available no charge. There is a laundry area but a couple of the machines were out of order. Easy access to interstate 69. Cracker Barrel next door. Swimming pool and exercise room available but I did not check out.

I always stay at this particular Best Western when I am in Anderson, Indiana. The rooms are large enough to move around with ease. Larger than all the other motels I have ever stayed at. The breakfast is also very good!

Good start to our 10 week road trip. This place was clean, comfy with a good breakfast and nice bed. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay again. Best Western can be proud of this one

My husband and I would stay there again if needed. The hotel location was very easy to find and convenient. The rooms were clean and bed/pillows very comfortable. The front desk personnel was extremely friendly and helpful.

"Another Great Stay"

When ever we are anywhere in the Anderson area, we stay at this Best Western. We have had nothing but great experiences there. The only complaint I have is that as all hotels I believe they should have handicapped toilets in all rooms as there are a large group of traveling seniors across the country.

This property has a tired look to it. While clean and quiet, it simply did not compare to other Best Western Plus properties we have stayed at. In addition, the bathroom sink area is extremely small, with inadequate room for the toiletries of two people. The closet was on the small side as well. Further, the toilet and tub were in a separate room with a light that turned on and off automatically. We could find no way to stop this, which meant that, when getting up to use the toilet at night, you were subjected to a bright light, which is not conducive to going back to sleep when finished.

"Dirty Room"

Can't comment too much on the amenities. Once we checked into our room and saw the toilet seat up, a used bar of soap in the shower, and dirty sheets on both beds (after pulling back the bedding), we checked out immediately. Good news though, the girl at the front desk offered to not charge us for the room!

"Best ever"

The only thing bad I'd say about this best Western is that on the 3 times I stayed in anderson before I didn't stay here. Bed was comfortable with plenty of space in the room. Shower was wonderful pressure. The breakfast had real eggs!!!

Great hotel,well maintained,great staff, excellent service., very quiet. We will seek out this Hotel on future trips. I was amazed when we mentioned we were traveling for a funeral , that they gave us a discount rate for bereavement, unsolicited by us!

"Great Stay"

Overall, a great hotel! I usually book at one of the better know chains, but I waited too late and Best Western was the only hotel that was available. I was not disappointed. Was greeted by a cheerful and helpful front desk staff. Rooms were spotless and the beds. Wow! I prefer a more firm mattress and these were awesome. Plus, there was a Keurig in the room. What a pleasant surprise! The AC seemed old and made a funny noise and the faucet in the shower could use some attention, but this is a great hotel, great staff and if I return to Anderson, I'll definitely stay here again.

We wanted a quick getaway; close to the racetrack. This was the perfect location and the price was extremely reasonable. We were able to take the complimentary shuttle to and from the track. After the races, we were able to relax in the hot tub which was a large size.

This was my first visit to a Best Western Plus. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds comfortable and the buffet was excellent. Have added this hotel to my list of travel hotels when visiting this area of the state.

We enjoyed our stay at this Best Western in Indiana. The room was clean and comfortable,the staff was very friendly, and the hot breakfast was good. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area again. Thank you for being a great place to stay.

We went to Hoosier Park & Racing Casino for a concert on a Friday night and stayed at this hotel because they had a free 24/hr shuttle. The room was on the main floor and it was accommodating with fridge and microwave. Unfortunately, the hotel needs updated, but bed was comfortable and shower water was strong. Free Wi-Fi and free breakfast buffet.
