    « Highly recommend »

My husband and I would definitely recommend the Best Western Plus in Perth ONTARIO. The staff was very friendly and very professional. The room was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We will stay there again, no question !!!

    « Love this place! »

I have stayed here quite a few times but my last 2 visits have been th best! There is an oveflow "White House" behind the hotel, which is a century old building. The rooms are spacious, with hardwood floors. It is quiet and delightful, for the same price as the main hotel. The only downside is that you dont earn BW rewards in the white House but its worth t! Breakfas s still included as it is in the main hotel.

    « Comfortable Stay »

Room was clean and comfortable, beds were excellent. Our room looked onto the front entrance roof, and we didn't have a view. The location was beautiful, breakfast was good, a nice variety. However, the breakfast staff was rude and grumpy, telling people to hurry up, eat and get out. The rooms were expensive compared to other Best Westerns, and didn't have any extra amenities to warrant the cost.

    « Gluten-free breakfast options, excellent service! »

Upon my brother's death, a family member reserved a block of rooms at this hotel for a price reduced by $30. One side of the hotel had views onto a beautiful creek and park. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy, and the bathtubs in every room were deep jacuzzis. Breakfast had many options, and the gluten-free cinnamon raisin bread was outstanding. They also had gluten-free cereal. Staff were efficient and polite. Each room had a mini refrigerator.

    « Excellent »

Stayed with a friend last minute for a girls night out. Was very happy with experience. Hotel was very clean, well decorated, excellent breakfast (called continental but had waffles, oatmeal, eggs etc as well), with a lovely pool. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

    « Accommodating »

Came here for a work conference and when I told the front desk that I had asked for my own room, they quickly found one for me when my reservation had me sharing a room. I much appreciated the quick and easy resolution to the problem. Made the rest of my conference stress free.

« Nice Hotel in Heritage Perth »

Stayed for a 2 day conference. Room was lovely, wifi seemed fine, bed was very comfortable, room was clean and the bathroom was exquisite. The therapeutic tub was a welcoming sight at the end of a very long day. A good location for a conference, with Codes Mill across the street. Although we found the conference rooms to be poor- people coming and going thru the end of 1 room as the only route to another speaker was quite distracting. And one speaker and group much louder was very over-bearing the speaker in adjoining room. I guess Breakfast room converted to Conference room doesn't work so well in this case. Many who stayed for the conference found it very irritating that all keys stopped working for your room door at 11am which is check-out time. Many went back to rooms between workshops (around lunchtime) to checkout to find out they could not get in to get their luggage. One would think the hotel would be sure to let participants know ahead of time so they don't miss the start of the next workshop by running around trying to get their luggage. In addition because there was a special rate for the conference attendees, some slack could have been offered on check-out time since it is a very busy time for all participants of the conference. Also thought price is way to expensive in comparison of other area facilities. Couple of lovely little motels on Hwy. 7 are half the price, although admittedly no therapeutic tub.

    5
    « Perfect for a Conference! »

With various meeting rooms, available equipment, free high speed wifi, comfy and clean rooms this hotel is the perfect place to host a conference not to mention having the gorgeous Codes Mill across the road for larger groups. We would even come back for a vacation to enjoy the pool, hottub, spa and local scenery and cool shops. Wish I had taken some photos very pretty! Even has a park with picnic area and playground for families!

    « Beautiful new hotel »

This hotel is such a pretty addition to the pretty downtown Perth area. You can walk to everything. The rooms are so spacious and clean. I didn't use the spa or pool so can't say but I assume they are equally nice. Perth is so historic but you can see that this new building just suits it's environment and has been built with the town in mind. It's right on the pretty Tay River so you can walk out from the hotel right into Stewart Park. The room had a microwave and mini fridge. I really enjoyed our stay

« Nice hotel but poor internet »

This hotel is nice enough but I'd love to know when these hotels are going to provide internet services that work well. The internet keeps freezing, making it impossible to works or a business traveler like me.

    « Classy »

For small town Perth, the Best Western Plus was a real nice surprize. Beautifully appointed rooms, great and friendly staff, nice pool and steam room, and conveniently located in the heart of downtown historic Perth.

    « Visit To Perth »

This is a very nice hotel and in new condition. It appears to be the only hotel of its quality and type in Perth. Being right on Stewart Park it was an ideal location and very central to the down town area. We found that the lighting in the hotel room bathroom was very poor and hard to put make-up on or shave. Otherwise no problems were encountered. Price is high for the room.

« Nice getaway for a wedding weekend »

This hotel was immaculate. Every inch of this hotel was clean and beautiful. We were there for a wedding and our room was large, clean and quiet. For those who would like a beautiful location for a wedding and a reception this is the best place. The property around the hotel is stunning! I would like to return to this hotel in the future for a couples getaway as there is a spa in the hotel and the local attractions are beautiful. This hotel is the place to stay for anyone visiting Perth.

« One of the Best »

One of the Nicest Best Western properties I have ever stayed at. The room was a large with a king bed in it . The room was very clean and came with a mini refrigerator. The lobby and the grounds are wonderful. The back of the hotel backs out onto the beautiful Stewart Park in the middle of town. The place was very clean and best of all the staff were very very friendly and helpful. This is the place to stay when visiting Lanark County.

    5
    « very nice hotel »

My husband and I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff, the room , the location was fabulous. Very clean and upscale hotel. We enjoyed it free continental breakfast walk right outside the door to Stewarts Park which is something to see and we also had a view of it from our room. Very nice we would definitely go back there again.

    « A Touch Of Class! »

This central-located hotel in beautiful downtown Perth is a tranquil location to relax. The whirlpool tub in a glistening bathroom is just what you need before sinking into the plush bed. There is a lovely indoor pool accessed with your hotel key, and a spa for extra pampering if you are so inclined. Be sure to get the free parking permit to put on your dashboard as the spa is popular with locals. It is an easy walk to The Studio Theatre, local stores and restaurants. I plan to book here next time we are in town for a show.

    « TERRIFIC »

We really liked this hotel. We loved the location right in the heart of Lovely Perth Ontario. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, spacious and the beds were so comfy! We had a spa tub!! Our room, 313 was a bit unlucky as the air conditioner was noisy but we got thru it! Breakfast was a tad boring with toast , sausage and scrambled both mornings! There is a pool, but we didn't have time to enjoy it! Maybe next time? I would stay here again, just not in room 313!

« Awesome Stay -Beautiful Hotel »

Great Hotel, Love this hotel and the staff. Beautiful location and great beds. Breakfast is fresh and hot. Love there mini putt and the spa is awesome. Great paito's to kick back and relax.Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone on any occasion. Thank You Michelle

« Cute town, great hotel »

I have everything great to say about the Best Western and Parkside Spa in Perth. I did a 3 day mini vacation. Pool, whirlpool and steam room are all immaculate and well kept as well as the change room and shower facilities. I had one whole day at the Parkside Spa and would recommend this to anyone to pamper yourself. I have stayed at this hotel a few months ago on business. Enjoyed staying there so much, I was happy to return.

« Stay and Play package »

We booked the stay and play golf package and thought it was reasonably priced. Golfed 3-18 hole rounds plus cart at 3 different courses. (Perth, Lombard Glen and Smiths Falls). We also used the spa services and that experience was a first for my husband. Perth is a lovely little town with some great restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here.

    « Short Get away »

The suite we stayed in backed onto Stewart Park in Perth with a balcony as well. The rooms were large as well as a spa tub in the largest bathroom. The pool area was refreshing and nicely located. The breakfast was quite good and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Once parked one could walk to the great shops and restaurants or just enjoy walking in the park.

    5
« Amazing location and great perks »

In town for a wedding and so happy we're staying at this hotel! Free parking, free wifi, continental breakfast, pool and fantastic location on the most beautiful park in Ontario. Perth is a fantastic destination and I think this should be your first choice for accommodations!

    5
« Lovely hotel in downtown Perth »

I was quite impressed by the spaciousness of the room and the bathroom. The rooms were well-appointed and there was even a jetted tub in the bathroom. There is a large, comfortable lobby. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast buffet included hot items. Some fresh fruit would be a welcome addition.

    5
    « Attended Wedding »

Everything is first class. All staff polite and very accommodating. Great location to the downtown area restaurants etc. No restaurant or lounge located within the facility but a free self serve breakfast is provided every morning.

    « Travels through Ontario »

We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Perth on our travels through Ontario. The hotel was in walking distance to everything so we never needed to move our car. The hotel was situated beside a lovely park with a pond. I would highly recommend this hotel if traveling through or to Perth. The staff were kind and very accommodating,

« Excellent hotel ok spa »

This is definitely the best hotel in Perth - we will come back for sure! It is beautiful, clean and well maintained and in a wonderful area . Comfortable very relaxing . Excellent small pool and hot tub with fun jets where you can swim against them for a better workout. The gym only has a few machines but it was nice. The steam room didn't work while we were there so I can't speak to it. They kept saying it would be fixed but it never was. The complimentary breakfast was great - love the Belgian waffle maker. We also booked into massages at the spa. They were ok but definitely not wonderful. Thank goodness we had a discount on them. We treat ourselves to massages if we can when we are away so are very familiar with massage therapists. This was a disappointment. Their manicures and pedicures were booked so perhaps that is where they shine. All in all we will return but avoid the extra cost of the spa.

« A great place for wedding guests. »

This is not what I expected at a Best Western Hotel! The rooms are well-appointed, nicely sized, and obviously well-kept. A reasonable sized refrigerator in our King Size suite helped with keeping champagne cool for the bride. I wished we had stayed longer so that I could use all of the amenities including the pool and in-suite bubble tub. The service was excellent - with three weddings happening on the same day, the staff was very helpful and worked hard to get as many of us as they could checked in long before 3pm. In the meantime, our Bride's suite was beautiful and spacious enough to allow for 16 bridesmaids and flower girls to put on the final touches and get ready to march across the street for the ceremony. Included breakfast was great, especially the coffee. This hotel is perfectly sized for the location and I would definitely stay there again for another event, or just for a weekend away.

    « Great Hotel »

We stayed overnight in Perth at this hotel not sure what to expect. Pleasant surprise for a small town. Great downtown location, close to the best restaurant ( Stone Cellar). Good morning breakfast and don't forget to have a stroll through the park that adjoins the property.

    « Getaway »

My husband and I just enjoyed a three day getaway to this hotel. Our room was perfect, king bed. Comfy chairs to sit and read. Jetted tub for relaxation. Quiet atmosphere. View of the Park! Everything needed for a perfect qetaway. Complimentary continental breakfast started the day off just right.

    « Great Location »

This Property Borders Stewart Park, an amazingly scenic riverfront park. Room was updated and very comfortable. Breakfast was real good, waffles, eggs, sausage, and the usual buffet items. Would stay there again. Great Location !

    « Excellent Hotel! »

This was my first stay at this motel and first stay at a Best Western Plus brand hotel. This hotel was beautiful and very well maintained. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Site has a nice Pool & Hot Tub which were also well maintained and clean. Highly recommend this hotel!

    « Good & Not so good »

Stayed one night in early July while passing through with my 11 year old daughter. Had made reservations days prior... Check in was very bad, there was a couple of us experiencing credit card issues, we stood behind them patiently for at least 20 minutes... we were not even acknowledged (This was July/3rd around 5pm)! Moving past the poor check in: the room although apparently clean and newish, had a musty smell to it... several light bulbs were burnt out and the bathroom fan didn't work. The AC vent was very noisy which led to a poor nights sleep... sounded as if rocks were tossing around in the vent. The hotel has a very nice pool which the girl enjoyed thoroughly. Although we had to ask front desk for towels... the front desk girl did not mention this fact upon check in. Best part of the stay was the great breakfast presented which included a waffle maker, bacon & eggs, etc... although coffee tasted like water. Overall synopsis: not worth the high price... if in the area again I would stay at one of the motels on the main highway which seemed to be well reviewed and would be almost 1/2 the cost. Front desk needs to be more attentive & personable.

    « Beautiful Town »

I stayed at the Best Western for 6 nights in June 2016. The hotel was situated in a beautiful spot on the edge of Stewart Park in Downtown Perth. Hotel was clean, modern, bedroom 204, superb facilities, buffet breakfast had a limited hot choice but a good selection of cereals cakes bread cheese etc etc Great location for the town centre and associated parks, which the River Tay runs through, beautiful spot. Only issue I had was the maid forgot to top up the condiments for the coffee machine still waiting. However would I stay there again. I certainly would

    5
    « A lovely hotel »

Situated right in Perth facing Stewart Park, pretty much everything is done well here. Reasonable at less than $200 a night for a room. On the second night we has a suite, absolutely immense. This place is well managed and all the staff are helpful. Kudos to Brian. The indoor pool and hot tub are a treat as is the beautiful spa.

« Beautiful hotel, small problems not rectified »

Chose hotel for handicapped room and roll in shower provided.. Could not use shower, no wall drop down seat, was told could not provide us with a shower seat due to liability issues.. No new shampoo provided for room second morning, had used all first day. Beautiful facility, great food, poor internet connection on 2nd floor awesome location

« Do not have your wedding here! Most disorganized and unprofessional management »

Just want to give my honest opinion so no bride has to go through what we went through leading up to and on our wedding day at the Best Western Perth. The most disorganized and unprofessional management and caused more problems and stress than any bride& groom needs. 1.They overcharged several of our guests for their hotel rooms and then put up a fight to refund them. 2.The wedding coordinator took days (sometimes weeks) to reply to simple emails, which is very frustrating when you are trying to plan a wedding. 3.The gardens were in terrible condition when we showed up for the wedding and it wasn't until we had asked 4 times, that someone actually made a poor attempt at fixing them up. This was one of the reasons we picked this venue, was for the beautiful scenery for an outdoor ceremony. 4.The Bridal Suite was much to be desired. The lighting was awful, the shower water was BROWN and after requesting use of the pull out couch, there was no bedding or any preparation, leaving us to call the front desk as ask for bedding at 11pm, when he was very rude and annoyed with the fact he would have to bring us bedding. 5.Despite being told they would ensure at least 2 rooms would have early check in, they did not even allow my mother to check in early, let alone my out of town guests who had to get dressed and ready in the bathrooms!! 6.The next day, all of our guests room keys were deactivated at 10am, even though check out was not until 11am! This meant that every time we made a trip from the room to the car, we had to get our room key reactivated- very frustrating. 7. The Spa charged me a cancellation fee after my 2 bridesmaids went in and asked if there was a cancellation fee and were both told there was not. The wedding coordinator said she even watched the videos from that day and they were told the wrong information but they would still not refund me. After all of this drama and more, they refused to refund/discount us, let alone take any responsibility. Sorry in advance for anyone who has already booked there. Not to be a downer on your wedding, but just make sure you really double check EVERYTHING before and after your wedding. Sincerely- One very disappointed bride!

« A hotel which shows no interest »

This hotel provides the room and loses interest thereafter. You want a glass of wine? you should have brought your own glasses! You want breakfast at 09.30? You should know that breakfast ends at 10.00 and things have to be put away from 09,30 onwards!

    5
« Stewart Park Music Festival »

Every year we attend this festival and for the past two years we have stayed at the Best Western. The rooms are very comfortable and you cannot hear the train that passes through the town at night. When we have stayed at some of the towns B & B's this has been a problem. The Spa at the hotel is amazing as is the indoor pool.

    5
« Short Stay in a Beautiful Town »

This is a beautiful well-run hotel in a completely gorgeous town. All of the facilities were spotlessly clean and the grounds were immaculate. Breakfast was very good for a self-serve format and the staff were very attentive. No restaurant is provided in the hotel but a fine selection of fine dining restaurants and pubs may be found in easy walking distance. The hotel itself seamlessly nestles in the delightful town making the visit most memorable.

« Five Star Hotel in a Five Star Town »

Great location , stayed for Business but i would stay again for pleasure. Room was large and very comfortable , fast internet and fantastic views from room of the river running through town i would stay here again and again .

« Great location, horrible staff »

I used to stay here at least once a month but have since gone elsewhere. The Desk Manager and General Manager were beyond rude and incompetent. Given the rates they charge, one would think they would have an excellent focus on customer care -- they do not. Whatever you do, don't bring any complaints to the attention of the hotel management - you will be treated poorly. This is really too bad because the location and facility is excellent but I would rather stay in a lesser facility than have to deal with the management's rudeness.

    4
« A great place to stay in the wonderful lovely town of Perth Ontario »

Great and comfortable hotel with spacious and very clean rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. The parking is free and the breakfast included. However, I do NOT recommend staying at the hotel for the breakfast because it i was way below expectations and there is so much better breakfast options few steps outside the hotel.

    5
« One of the 'Best' Best Westerns »

We pass through Perth every few years, and don't even bother to look around at other establishments. This is our third stay, and it's always consistently excellent. Friendly staff, spotless rooms and grounds, located next to a beautiful park and short walking distances to top-notch eateries. (On this trip we discovered our new favorite Perth eatery "O'Reilly's Ale House", which is a 5 minute walk from the Hotel.

    4
    « Repeat visit »

Have always enjoyed this hotel - quiet, clean and well staffed. Only the price hurts! It's the best place to stay in Perth as it's beside the attractive park and central to downtown. Always like to check out Big Ben in the park when I'm here too.

    5
« Great hotel. Close to family. »

Room exceptionally clean. Pool a good size and hot tub great. Staff at front desk very helpful. Can walk to many restaurants. Chose O'Reillys. 5 minute walk from the hotel. Beautiful park beside hotel that is well maintained and enjoyable to walk through. Music in the park during the summer. Just bring your lawn chair. Shopping close by. Would recommend.

    « Room with a view »

Arrived on Monday after booking 1 night and was lucky enough to stay for 2 and in a suite. The room was gorgeous the view stunning and the staff friendly and helpful. Stewart Park just behind the hotel is so restful and has several bridges and the Rideau canal flowing thru. From Coutts coffee house the rising coffee beans fragrance the town , full of lovely restaurants and quaint shops. Really loved this town and hotel x

    5
« Love this little town »

I've been three times. The people are friendly. The park near the hotel is lovely. It's such a quiet little place that all the stresses go away. I haven't done the spa there, but I think it would be a very nice gift to someone for a little getaway! Rooms are great. Staff is friendly.

    5
« Great start to a Bus Tour »

I booked a room at Best Western, Perth prior to a bus tour to Stratford. The hotel was a fantastic surprise: Very friendly staff (even offered to pack a brown bag lunch for our early start) a lovely room and six foot Jacuzzi bathtub! I immediately booked a room for our late night return 3 days later. At that point I had time to swim in the indoor pool and enjoy outdoor patio for breakfast. I was given an hour extension to check out and enjoyed the delightful amenities of "Main Street" small town Ontario. Next time my cultural indulgence will be a theatre package at this hotel. Oh yes, my points for previous visits to a Best Western gave me a discount of $25...AMERICAN! Now I have earned a $50 gift certificate: pretty soon they will be paying me to stay there!

    4
    « So many rules. »

The hotel is lovely, the rooms nice, beds comfy and the grounds gorgeous. The hotel has some crazy rules that are not customer friendly. Our golf group of 16 women reserved our rooms 2 months ahead. We were told at that time they had to be paid in full with a no refund policy....that was a little different. We arrived at the hotel after 18 holes at the golf course 2 minutes away pleased with the look of the hotel. Checking in we asked if there was somewhere we our group could gather and visit before we headed out to our dinner reservation. We were directed to the courtyard/terrace and told no alcohol outside of our room. So we changed direction and all gathered for a glass of wine and apps in my room. At 5pm we were told of a noise complaint and another rule only 5 people are allowed to be in a guest room at one time. Now we are not a group to run naked through the hall. So we carried on to our dinner reservation and made plans to return to the TI Country Club on Wellsley Island NY for our 5th annual Girls Giggles and Golf tourney.

« An elegant, clean hotel in quaint, downtown Perth, Ontario! »

We chose to spend a few days in Perth Ontario to celebrate our anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised to find this upscale property right in the heart of the downtown area of Perth. Situated right next to a large park with water and surrounded by nature, this property is both extremely clean and elegant! We had a beautiful room with a terrace overlooking the park. The room was beautifully appointed; very comfortable bed; all the amenities you would expect in a 4-star property. We really enjoyed the indoor, heated pool, hot tub and steam room. We took advantage of their spa, and treated ourselves to a couples' massage as well. This is an Aveda Spa with numerous treatment rooms and lots of pedicure chairs, including some private rooms to accommodate two or more ladies at a time. They sell the full Aveda line. The spa is on the ground level overlooking the park; a beautiful spot. We were very pleased with our stay at Parkside Inn and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy all that Perth has to offer. You're right in the centre of town and can easily walk to all the shops and restaurants from the hotel.

Just a 2 day business trip. The hotel was fantastic, clean updated rooms, nice bathroom. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean. Friendly staff and right by a beautiful park. I'll bring my wife back for the weekend for sure.

« Superb place to stay! »

This was our second time staying at this hotel. It is very quiet & rooms are comfortable. On both stays our room has looked out over the gardens & river in the back - great! The staff are very polite & accommodating. Breakfast was very good with a good choice. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Did not take advantage of the spa but have heard rave reviews from friends who have used it. Would highly recommend this hotel.

« Pretty surroundings, not so pretty service »

This property has a lovely setting. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately the check-in process was brusque despite no other patrons in the lobby, the Wi-Fi access is desperately limited despite being described by staff as "the fastest in the country." The housekeeping staff seem efficient and very interested in providing excellent service. The hospitality staff, not so much.

    5
« Fabulous customer service and lovely hotel »

I spent two nights here on business and was blown away by the excellent service and quality of the accommodations and meeting space. The rooms are huge and newly renovated with gorgeous granite bathroom fixtures and jacuzzi tubs. Rooms were very clean and quiet with plenty of natural light. The meeting space was the best I have ever experienced with huge windows and a beautiful view of the water. Staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating from check-in to departure. I didn't get a chase to check out the spa, but others in our group did and gave it rave reviews. I would definitely recommend this for both the hotel accommodations and events!

« A great place to stay when in Perth »

There are very few options when visiting Perth other than the usual Ontario-type roadside motels, most of which are acceptable, however I prefer the facilities and options that the BW Plus Perth Parkside offers. Very up to date rooms (yes with lots of plugs for computers and cell phones), high speed wireless, a gym and an acceptable breakfast. I have stayed there often with few complaints. Watch the automatic doors though in the main entrance..they swing out and could easily bang you in the face if you're not careful...

    5
« Nice hotel- nice location »

This hotel has nice size rooms with large bathrooms. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel is located beside a park with a creek. Very nice to walk along. It is located close to many restaurants an quaint downtown shops. A group of us were there for business and a few people took advantage of their spa facilities.

Rooms were clean but pool didn't have towels. Had to ask every day. Keys would erase constantly and they were NOT near anything to erase them like phone or purse magnets. At one point front desk told us they only load one day at a time on the card then someone else said it was the batteries on the lock??? We were here for a week. Staff were really nice and I would stay here again. The only thing that almost kept me from coming here were the mgmt responses/rants on other people's reviews. Very aggressive and unprofessional. I trust TripAdvisor but do realize occasional bad reviews will happen and take them with a grain of salt so it is ironic that the mgmt not the reviews almost cost them my business.

We stayed at this hotel with larger group that came here for aerobics dance competition and were satisfied with our choice of hotel. Service was great, enough of safe parking, great location with walking distance to restaurants with good food. Very nice pool and spa services that my wife used. Rooms are really clean and nice. We are long time Hilton Honor members but this hotel made us thinking about switching to another brand of the hotels :)

The Best Westerns are pretty much middle of the line and cost effective. However this hotel left a lot to be desired. The rates were very high compared to most and no restaurant not much was working, pool closed. So just a sleep over.

« Delightful hotel and spa »

Our 2 night stay was very pleasant. The room was spacious and comfortable. The spa was outstanding. A word of advice -- the rooms have very basic cable, no option for movies, and a streaming device did not work. There is little entertainment in town and if you're looking for a quiet night in to watch movies, bring your own hdmi cable and player.

« Luxury, value and convenience »

My girlfriends and I decided we needed a spa day and so we booked a suite at the Best Western Parkside Inn & Spa in Perth. We all live about an hour away from Perth and with the amenities offered at this hotel this was the right choice in so many ways. First the location is perfect for walking downtown, restaurants, drugstore specialty shops you name it Perth has it. The suite was very well appointed with lots of room for the 4 of us to sleep without disturbing one another. Bonus 2 bathrooms! A big plus with 4 women. The kitchen featured a bar fridge, microwave, dishes, cutlery and glasses. (We brought our own wine glasses) I was surprised none in cupboard. Windows and balcony doors so we could get some fresh air. The room was quite toasty even with the heat off. Although our room overlooked the Park, not much to see this time of year but we will definitely return in nicer weather. The Pool, hottub and spa were amazing. The Spa staff were so friendly and welcoming. I will review them under their name as they deserve their own.Parking was great and the front desk staff could not have been more helpful. Shout out to Mike the night clerk who sent a lovely young woman to setup our DVD player. (had to go out and buy one as none in the room but no biggy) I'm sure they had movie channels or something we just wanted to watch our own selection of girly movies. I could go on and on but find out for yourself and be sure and go to Fall River Fashion on Gore Street, Big winter sale on now and the prices and quality are out of this world, Michelle sure knows what woman want when it comes to fashion.

The front desk staff were incredibly rude. Would not switch me to a room with a bathtub, because I had booked through expedia. The response was "that's why you shouldn't book through third party websites".

« Not the Best Best Western Ive stayed in »

The hotel is in a great location and the checkin was painless and quick. The room looked like a Best Western but found the bed to be extremely uncomfortable. As I was ill during my stay I spent a lot of time in it and it was very creaky. Not sure what the replacement bed policy is for BW hotels but I think this one was past its expiry!! Everything else was OK, especially the staff, who were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was little hit and miss with food running out rather quickly and inconstancy in the items offered, (One day bacon and then not seen again!) It was also cleared away at exactly 10:00 even though there was still people eating.

« Not worth the cost »

The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff right from the day we got there were unfriendly and rude. We rented a suite with kitchenette, stocked with the very minimal supplies. It was a long weekend and the "breakfast" ran out of many items before the weekend was over. There were lots of patrons and not enough seating, the staff refused to open the room beside the dining area (a room that has glass sliding doors opening into the dining area) because it was "set-up" for an event the following day. Looking through the glass there were a few tables with chairs out.. No decor, table clothes etc... The staff also shut the pool down early claiming there was a "fouling", which was never seen by any of the other families we were with at the pool. Unfortunately the staff seemed resentful of how busy the hotel was...the staff even put up quiet signs at night over the elevator license certificates and were kicking people out of the chairs outside the elevators (why have chairs there if you can't sit in them???) I feel bad for the ownership that has put a lot of money into maintaining and providing a beautiful hotel only to have the staff make it a miserable place to stay.

    « Simply stunning hotel »

This beautiful hotel overlooks a scenic park. The view over the park is wonderful, especially in new fallen snow. Be sure to ask for a room with a view. The hot tub and pool were very comforting after a brisk walk around charming Perth. Front desk staff are very welcoming and helpful. Great full hot breakfast as well. We will return in the summer because they have a great golf package.

unfriendly staff, ok hotel room. Was expecting more for the price. Were not smart when accommodating a large group. Put us all on different levels. It was close to the location we were going or I would of stayed at a cheaper hotel. For the price I wasn't blown away.

« Best of the Best »

Beautifully clean, new, crisp, great staff. We informed staff at checkin at night that we were leaving early in the morning and they were nice enough to provide us with a brown bag of breakfast items. This place was right in the heart of Perth. There were many little pubs and diners.

Great atmosphere overlooking the Tay River. The Tay River runs through Stewart Park. Lots activities in the Park, especially in the summer. This year (2016) is Perth's 200th anniversary. Lots of activities planned for everyone.

« Good location for business meetings. »

Great service as they helped with scheduling conference room and catering lunches. Large rooms (especially appreciated the heated bathroom floors). Free breakfast was a bonus. Gym/pool looked nice, but not time to use. Walk to many local restaurants for dinner.

    « Great Getaway »

Great Getaway weekend with my 3 daughters. The hotel was in a very convenient location to the centre of town. The hotel was very clean, comfortable beds, extras such as microwave, fridge, nicely decorated rooms, staff pleasant and very helpful, good variety for continental breakfast. As well, the pool area was very well kept and quite modern.

    « Another great getaway »

Went for a get away weekend with hubby. It was wonderful from the min we walked in the door. The entrance is beautiful and the rooms excellent. We have stayed here 3 or 4 times and every time the experience is excellent. We booked for the couples massage and again the staff at the spa were excellent. The room was a good size and very clean, and the housekeeping staff were very helpful with all my "extra" shopping items. The hotel is well within walking to the down town shopping. The window view would be excellent in the summer, we will just have to book for a summer weekend getaway!!

    « Another Great Stay! »

Had a wonderful experience again at the Best Western Plus in Perth. Always clean rooms and exceptional service. It is nice to know we can always count on a good experience when we book here. Love the pool, hot tub and sauna and it is our son's favorite hotel when we travel.

« Wonderful Place To Stay »

My husband and I stayed here while visiting family. From the time we made our reservation until we checked out, we were made to feel welcome. We had a room on the top floor with a view of the park and small river. Every morning, the sun rise reflecting on the river was so beautiful. Our room was spacious, clean and the lamps on the night stands had outlets to charge your devices. There was a refrigerator and a microwave in the room, too. It did get cool at night and a warmer duvet would have been nice. There was no spare blanket in the room. The breakfast that is included in the stay was very good and the kitchen staff were very friendly. This hotel is an easy walk to the downtown core and Perth is a great town to explore.

« Great place to stay in Perth! »

The Hotel is well looked after and has great staff working there! The rooms are a good size, very clean and comfortable. You are within walking distance of downtown and all its great older buildings. The only down fall I felt was breakfast could have been better.

« Wonderful hotel and caring staff »

Our experience at the hotel was great from the check in until check out. The hotel is beautiful and well kept. The staff are welcoming and even let us check in early to accommodate us, which was very appreciated. The room was large, bright, clean and the bed and pillows were great. Seriously, I slept like a baby even if a large event was happening in the lobby the hotel is quiet and calm. I wasn't able to try the Spa since we were only there for one night due to a hockey tournament, but next time we visit we will stay a extra night to try the spa. The pool and spa were super clean and quiet, the staff insure that there's always towels as they checked in frequently. The only thing missing was a bathrobe in the room. The breakfast was good, something to please even the pickiest eater, the bacon, sausage and eggs where good. The breakfast starts at 7am. Great stay and hope to stay again soon.

« Great Hotel for a small town »

Had business in Perth, was skeptical to stay here, considered staying in a bigger town, but took the chance and it paid off !! Beautiful Hotel, it was nicer then the Big resorts in a large city, Clean and Comfy, Breakfast is free, but its boring and always the same, but there are enough restaurant choices all in walking distance, rooms are Big, clean and comfy... and the BED... i dies and went to heaven. Staff needs training on Customer service, but otherwise, I recommend this Hotel for all.

Got just as we expected. Friendly and helpful, efficient gentleman at the front desk. Huge, perfectly clean room with comfortable bed, tons of fresh pillows and a great pool area. Good breakfast with lots of options We're only 1 day in to our 2 day stay and we're already perfectly pleased. Thank you, Best Western

    « Wish I could stayed longer! »

Loved the comfort, cleanliness and service at this hotel. My room was very spacious with a desk, seating area and large cozy bed. The bathroom was beautiful as well. I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the spa. They use Aveda products, my favorite. The check in process was fast and efficient. In addition, I was checked out in advance of leaving the hotel which was very convenient. Highly recommend staying at the Best Western Parkside Inn and Spa.

    « It was ok »

Spacious room and reasonably clean. That's about where the niceties ended. We tried to check in an hour early but our room was not ready (that has NEVER happened to me before), coming from Alberta their was a time difference. My kids were tired, just wanted to rest... When we did finally check in we were given a room with one king bed (for a family of four). No sofa bed or anything. We were part of a group attending a wedding so luckily a family member switched rooms with me so we had a room with two queen beds. We both informed the front desk staff of the switch and she made a note, however, at checkout time the incorrect credit card numbers were on the invoices. Took days to sort out. Along with that fiasco the pool's hot tub was out of order... We typically enjoy Best Western's however, this one was not great.

    « A treasure surrounded by treasures! »

During a trip to Perth, Ontario my wife and I had the pleasure of spending a few days in the recently renovated Best Western Plus Perth Parkside Inn and Spa. While not an Inn ... in the traditional sense, the hotel and staff did provide us with a welcome respite from the world. We awoke to a FREE piping hot Breakfast of eggs, waffles, cereal, sausages and the like for a truly Continental Breakfast. All complimentary along with parking, Wi-Fi and smiles. The 54 spacious rooms, 7 luxurious Suites, and Hydrotherary Jet tubs, microwave and fridge in every newly renovated room mean that they are serious about their business! A modern fitness center and spacious pool abound. The Inn offers special packages for athletic and cultural events within the city. Located within the Historic district - great for young and old to stroll by the water or in the park!

« Nice Place to Stay! »

Upon my arrival, I was greeted by friendly staff who made check in quick and simple. The lobby and front entrance were clean and free of any clutter. You are a short walk to the downtown with various dinner options and sightseeing locations. It does appear to be a newer hotel. The room was clean and it was a comfortable stay overall. I did take advantage of the free breakfast with both hot and cold items. It was a good start to the day. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Excellent service and very nice facilities. The rooms were clean and very comfortable making this hotel a very good choice for staying away from home. The hotel personnel was very nice and ready to serve you with a great smile.

« Noisy rooms and rude GM »

Beware when booking rooms ask for rooms NOT over the party room where music blares till 1AM. I booked 5 rooms for 2 nights a year in advance for a wedding (at a venue across the street) and 2 of the rooms assigned to us where directly above the party room. Impossible to sleep. When I spoke to the GM on the phone about it, he hung up on me.

    « unbelievable weekend »

We ventured to Perth Ontario for a weekend getaway of bike riding and sightseeing. And what a wonderful weekend we had... The check in at the Best Western was quick easy and carefree. We booked a suite and upon checkin found it to be clean, well maintained and unique. This property is centrally located in town and within walking and biking distance of pretty much anything desired. The park setting in back of the hotel is wonderful and simply adds to the character and charm of this unique property. The front desk staff was simply wonderful, they helped us with the storage of our bicycles in a safe area of the hotel. meaning we were able to park our car on Friday evening and not move it again till our departure on Sunday.. Breakfast was typical but did not diminish our stay at this simply wonderful property. We would love to stay here again and would defiantly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area

« Beautiful and Historic Perth »

Your stay at this Best Western will not be disappointing. The locations is excellent making walking around the historic downtown east and convenient. The hotel neighbors a beautiful park and provides a great place for a morning walk before or after breakfast or for a leisurely afternoon stroll. I highly recommend this hotel if visiting Perth.

« Happy to recommend this hotel »

Stayed here overnight while on our way to Montreal. Excellent hotel. Modern spacious room with good ensuite facilities. Complimentary breakfast with selection of hot and cold food, including waffle maker. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially the lady in the breakfast room. Although there was a wedding on during our stay, there was no problem with noise. Free parking and wifi as well. If we're ever back in Perth I'd book this hotel.

    « Bridal Party Pre-Wedding Accomodations »

My bridal party and I stayed in a suite the night before my wedding. The room was perfect for getting ready in! We had more than enough room for hair and makeup, photos, and dresses and suits! The bed, pullout couch and cot were great. Our room had an incredible view and we had a great time there. Their continental breakfast was great with bacon, eggs and fantastic waffles.

We enjoyed this Best Western very much. Perfect location, backing onto the stunning park. Walking distance to everything. Spa was beautiful and very well done. Decor was beautiful. Staff was very friendly. We look forward to making this one of our regular stays.

    « Disappointing 2nd Time Around »

Unfortunately my wife and I were disappointed in the disruption of guests being loud at 2am after attending a wedding, while we were sleeping. This went on for quite awhile and did not get to sleep until 4am in the morning. The flushing of the toilet was broken and we needed to manually flush it. We noticed spiders in the bathtub and a beetle on the ceiling. Overall not a very pleasing but tolerant overnight stay.
