Best Western Premier Park Hotel

Very clean hotel, staff were super friendly. Pool was a nice size and fitness was a good set up. Great view of the Capital. The lighting at night was amazing. I will definitely love to stay again. And to top it off Valet! Those gentleman were super fast. Like jimmy johns slogan.. freaky fast. Lol

This was a great hotel for a visit to UW-Madison. Perfect location right on the Capitol Square within easy walking distance of cafes, restaurants, and State Street. Room was spotless, spacious and felt upscale. Comfortable beds with luxury linens. Bathroom was beautifully remodeled. There is valet parking for $25/day but we chose to park at the municipal State St Capitol garage which was $8/day if you don't mind walking a couple of blocks with your luggage. Our only issue was loud neighbors, luckily they quieted down by midnight on the weekend but better soundproofing would have been nice. All in all we would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again when in the area.

Very clean, helpful staff! i liked that they have "quiet hours" signs posted throughout the hotel. Right off the bat, I knew I woudl be getting the rest I needed. There are a lot of good restaurants cllose by.

We stay in this hotel every year for the WIAA state high school wrestling tournament. It's less than a mile from the event center so we're able to walk. They also provide shuttle service so if the weather's bad we don't have to walk. There's also a walgreens a starbucks and many places to eat in walking distance. I love state street and it's right around the corner.

One of the nicest hotels in the Midwest! GREAT pool with a lovely seating area. Rooms are immaculately clean and very comfortable. Nice bar and restaurant but I did not eat here. Right across from one of the best restaurants in Madison, Tornado Steak House.

Average room at best. Definitely below what I expected for how much I payed. Wifi wouldn't work the entire time and the front desk would just shrug it off. No mobile data connection either. I would definitely look elsewhere when visiting Madison and avoiding this overpriced hotel

Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and clearly run very well. Even though the restaurant and bar were crowded the staff were attentive and pleasant. Will stay here again!

We had our annual Employee Appreciation party here for the first time. The room set up was great. Beautiful views. Staff was very cordial and accommodating. We had a buffet and it was excellent. Will probably plan to have our party here again next year.

Stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. Great location right by the capitol, a good number and variety of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel seems recently remodeled or updated. The room I stayed in is light filled, very clean, nice bedding/sheets, lots of desk space, enough plugs and outlets but small-ish closet. No daily housekeeping service, you have to request for it. Even then, they missed a day that I requested. Hotel gym is average size but had some broken, unusable equipment but the pool is larger than in most hotels of this type. Overall, I had a good stay here. The staff is professional not notably friendly, just doing their job well. This is a good choice in Madison given the location, amenities, and value for the money. I recommend it.

This hotel is right across the street from the State Capitol, and within an easy walk to great coffee, restaurants, and other amenities. If you are there on a Saturday, the Madison Farmers Market is right outside the front door.

When you expect to be treated with respect and kindness and are met with disrespect and childish antiques all you can think is who's leading them. Years ago this hotel was lead by a great GM named George who treated me and wife so perfectly on our trips to Madison. I always repaid the kind service by gifting him stays at the many hotels my investors owned. Wow how things have gone down hill. You'd think customer service was still taught. Might just be the new way of things of Madison being how that city is run with homeless all around the hotel.

The hotel staff here is not just friendly - they actually like people and look for ways they can help! We came to town on business and mixed in a little bit of fun. The staff made us feel like we were on the most relaxing vacation and were quick to help us with any questions we had.

We stayed here for the Ironman event. The hotel was either unaware of the needs of the guest or did not care when they booked weddings on both Friday and Saturday evening. This is an issue due to the ballrooms being on the 8th floor with guest rooms surrounding it and immediately below. Between the loud bass and the crowds talking in the hallways it was very noisy.

The hotel allowed an event that took place directly below my room. The DJ played music so loud my music vibrated till about 11:15. Waking at 5AM on Friday with very lil sleep makes for a rough day at work.

Great location for getting around Madison! Rooms, staff and service is great! The Post has a nice bar with good food for quick bite when you arrive. Rooms have everything you need and are clean and well appointed.

Growing up in the Madison area, the Inn on the Park as it was known then, was always the utmost hotel experience; it hasn't changed. You are greeted by warm and welcoming folks from the desk staff to the valet. Rooms are always clean and nicely appointed. The hotel's restaurant has great food and drinks (fish fry is awesome) and the bartending staff is fantastic (Heather, especially). We highly recommend staying at a the Park.

I came to Madison as a vendor to work the CrossFit Games. My flights home got canceled for two days straight and everyone at the front desk (especially Leslie) was so kind and patient to get me rebooked to stay the additional nights each time when I couldn't get a flight out. It was a stressful situation, but they made it a lot less stressful than it could've been. Appreciate the lovely customer service. Thank you!

Everything was at least good. Breakfast was good if a little slow. The room was veery clean and well prepared. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was easy to get on the internet. The valet parking was a definite bonus. I look forward to staying again.

The location is incredible enough, but everything about this hotel was great. The staff were helpful, valet was super fast, everything was clean and spotless. The 2 room suite was perfect for traveling with a baby and had plenty of space for crawling around.

The room is well designed with the bed separate from the rest of the room with its own door which is helpful when both people don't wake up or go to sleep at the same time. Parking is valet. There is a bar and restaurant inside the hotel. Everything is clean and well kept. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

After having a CONFIRMED, PRE-PAID reservation, the hotel's business manager arbritrarily CANCELED my reservation -- less than one week prior to my arrival. Without my consent they re-booked me at a different property that was not central to the capitol area. When I tried to contact the bus mgr to dispute, I could only leave voice*mails which were never returned. Completely UNACCEPTABLE and an abhorrable way to treat customers.

Was beyond impressed with this hotel. It was immaculately clean and well kept, along with a kind and attentive staff on every level. The valet staff was especially wonderful and made driving and parking around the capital easy.

I was in Madison for surgery and needed to be close to the clinic. This was a great place to stay. It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend to everyone.

I was traveling for a business meeting with a group of 16, and several of us marveled at how wonderful the Park Hotel is! It's the best hotel I've experienced in many years. The beds are comfortable, rooms quiet and luxurious, views amazing, location excellent, restaurant and bar are top notch, and the staff are friendly and helpful but always professional.

The beds and pillows at this hotel are so hard. It was like sleeping on concrete. When we complained they added blankets. We complained again they said they'd comp parking, they did not. I call again!

Everything was within walking distance and the hotel room was very lovely. My favorite part of the room was the poolside access! I feel like I always want to have that access to the pool from my hotel room!

We stayed here while visiting my daughter at UW for her birthday. There were 4 of us (myself, husband, 16 yr old and 3 yr old) and I booked the double queen poolside room. Best decision ever! The rooms are somewhat small, especially when you add a pack and play for a toddler. But with the pool lobby area it felt like an extension of our room. The hotel wasn't crowded at all and we enjoyed using the pool and hanging out in that area. There was even a nice bathroom that comes in handy with 4 people (ended up being 5 because my daughter who said she would want to sleep back at her dorm decided to stay as well.) The room was very clean and updated and amenities seem well kept. The location can't be beat. We walked to dinner and breakfast. My only complaint (more of a suggestion) would be a coffee station in the lobby. The restaurant on-site sells coffee but we ended up going next door. Overall, I highly recommend and on an “off” weekend in February, it's very reasonable.

When I go to Madison I typically stay in one of two hotels. Concours and the Park, I mention the other hotel, because I prefer the Park. The decor is beautiful, the staff is always friendly, the rooms are really nice. I recommend upgrading to a room with a view of the Capitol, you won't be disappointed. If there was one thing I'm not a fan of it would be the onsite restaurant. Again, it has a very cool vibe, the people are nice, but the food is okay. Especially compared to the surround restaurants. However, that said, it's not horrible. It's just average in an above average hotel. Even with the restaurant, I still give the hotel an excellent rating.

We were only staying overnight as we had a show at the Orpheum, but I wish we had more time to enjoy the hotel. The Orpheum, and the rest of State Street, are about a 6 minute walk away. It was perfect. We had the most beautiful view of the capital from our room. I'll definitely be coming back and recommend you give them a try. A+

Incredible views of the City and the Capital of Madison. Great location for restaurants/bars/shopping/walking. The staff is very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel and area. My room was very clean and I had a great sitting area. I will be back and will recommend it to anyone wanting a unique experience in Madison.

From the valet to the front desk everyone is professional and courteous. This facility serves breakfast to order and has a full menu for the rest of the day into the evening. The lady bartender is very good at her job and her personality draws in regular guests and local visitors. I didn't use any amenities other than the internet but I would highly recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed the view tremendously. The bed was comfy, even the pillows. I appreciated the tea and the extras in the bathroom (mending kit, etc). Staff were friendly and helpful whenever I had a question. Thank you!

Tremendous location for walking to restaurants, meeting business clientele and the capitol. Valet service is included making it super easy to have a car even though you may not use it after arriving because of the handy location.

Great place to stay. Right in the heart of Capitol Square. Get a Capitol View Room - absolutely breathtaking at night! Close to restaurants, clubs, bars, shopping, STARBUCKS (one of my favorite's in the US!) I hear that in the summer on Saturdays, they have one of the best Farmer's Markets in the country!

Loved this hotel. Close to everything and fantastic views from my room on the fifth floor. Room was clean, staff were kind and helpful, valet parking was awesome, food at the restaurant was good. Walking distance from some Madison treasures, the Tornado room (old school steak house and bar) and the Old Fashioned, which arguably has the best cheese curds in town. Also had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.

We were pleased with the staff, cleanliness, and location. We had a great stay. The only improvement would be to include breakfast, or at least coffee/pastries in the morning. There was a fee for coffee after 7am via the restaurant.

Business Trip! I was very impressed with this hotel. Every single employee I interacted with was pleasant, greeted me before I had to greet them, and every single employee showed an exemplary level of customer service.

The hotel is right across from the Capital and many restaurants. Very comfortable beds and nice sitting area even in the standard room with city view. Lobby bar very nice and $25.00 valet parking very convenient. Warm beautiful pool area but not for young children as the lowest depth was 4 feet with no gradual steps in and no hot tub which we missed. Rooms were quiet with refrigerator, microwave and coffee.

Except for the used q-tip found in the sheets on the second night:( Otherwise, the location was great! Right on the square with the farmers market on Saturday was awesome. Service was great too. My husband used the workout room and said it was nice. The pool looked great, but we just didn't have time to use it.

Best Customer Service I have ever received given by General Manager Jason Salus! We stayed two nights in this elegant, perfectly located hotel on a trip to the Great Lakes region! I was carrying a kayak on top of my Jeep that would not fit in the valet drive-through tunnel! Jason went out of his way to personally assist us with parking! He was so humble and exhibited servant-leadership rarely observed in modernity, we didn't even know he was the GM! I observed him working with guests and staff, and have never seen such exemplary customer service, and I'm in the tourism/creative economy! Thank you, Jason! You inspire me to be a better tour guide! The room was nice (a bit on the small size, but fine for 2 people for a couple of nights). Breakfast at the hotel restaurant also was very good. Location is on the square. We had a room on the 8th floor where there “boardroom” facility is…don't let the name confuse you, they rent it out for full on events with a DJ which are very very loud. Mentioned when we checked out the noise and the girl at the front desk (who didn't bother to even ask how the stay was) was all attitude. She made it sound like if we had called to complain the would have moved us (first, if there are other rooms why would you put someone in the room that is 10 feet from the venue space and really, we should have called to complain about a loud wedding and then packed up in the middle of the night). They could have comped the parking or something or at least expressed some feeling for the inconvenience. I must have been the first person to ever ask for the receipt based in the front desk persons reaction to that request too.

Exceeded our 3 requirements. Easy access upon arrival with valet indoor parking ($25/night). We did have to wait 20 minutes for room availability, but they did state check in was 3pm. Room was very clean and quiet. Great location. Only downside was TV remote did not work. Would stay again.

We made a same day decision to stay in Madison overnight. The Park hotel was perfect. Great bed, beautiful view, perfect location. We ate at Red Sushi Saturday night for dinner. Wonderful food, drinks, and service. We found the Heritage Tavern by chance while looking for brunch on Sunday. The staff, food, and atmosphere were amazing. Overall, a perfect stay.

This location can't be beat, especially with the farmers market on Saturday and all of the nearby restaurants and bars. A little pricey; so I was happy to get a discounted block rate for the wedding I was attending. I would recommend the hotel and their private event space to anyone. Several years ago, I hosted an event there and it went smoothly and was perfect. The views from the hotel are great.

Staff was so helpful, room was spotless, pool area was really nice. Location to local restaurants couldn't be beat. We saw a show at Overture Hall and this was a short walk away. Would highly recommend!

This historic hotel is a Madison icon beautifully maintained with all the modern amenities you would expect in a premier hotel. We won't stay anywhere else when we visit Madison.

You can't beat this hotel's location - right on the square and across from the Capitol. The lobby and our room were clean and inviting. Best of all was the excellent, friendly, hard working staff and super fast valet parking! Such a refreshing change from most of our hotel stays over the last two years.

If you are in Madison and want to be in the center of everything, this is the place. Just moments away from the lake, steps away from the capital and a good walk to State Street. Won't stay any other place on my next visit. The hotel staff are excellent.

Came back after a long day...and found the room undone. Their explanations "you did not ask for it" ! And of course they did nor ask if I want it to be made or not. No apology. Rude receptionist. In addition They keep all the rooms toward the Capitol empty (even if I asked for one) and all guests are on the back of the hotel. Not a clever move to improve the quality of service.

The hotel staff were all very friendly and parking was super easy. We just pulled into the parking garage on the side of the building and a man parked our car for us!! The room was very clean and tidy, also the area around the hotel being right next to the capital was stunning!

The room was beautiful! The staff was extremely helpful. This location is perfect for any events in the downtown/Capitol area! We walked around before and after the event and felt very safe. Many restaurants, coffee shops, museums, and shops all within 5 blocks. It was a bit pricey but exactly what we needed!

My partner and I wanted an anniversary out of town memory. We got more than what we wanted. Looking out the window to the WI capitol was such a notable view. So many options within walking distance makes coming back easy to look forward to.

Was in town for a wedding and only had 1 night to stay in Madison so I wanted a hotel on the square. Picked Best Western because it had the best price on the square. Greatly exceeded expectations. I usually think of Best Western as a budget chain, but this hotel gave off the feel of a premier stay. Staff was super friendly, rooms were large and clean, hotel seem to offer plenty of amenities even though I didn't use them due to my short stay. Really the only downside is that there are only 2 elevators for a pretty large hotel. Can't fault them for making an old building on the screen feel clean and modern though. The best perk was the pre check in process. They sent an email, fill out some info and say what time you were coming in. Our flight got in at 10am and we were able to get into our room immediately. They also provided late check out for free. Would definitely look to stay here again on my next trip.

Fantastic hotel next to the capitol building with lots of restaurants in walking distance. Room is recently renovated with high quality linens, extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Beautiful tiled walk in shower with great water pressure! Immaculately clean! Highly recommend! Very elegant property. Valet parking for only $20!

Clean, simple, comfortable and easy. Just the way I like it. Valet underground parking was great, as the weather was not. The location was great for pedestrian walking to restaurants, the Capital and the Overture performing arts center. A 5 minute walk.

Everything was great from check in to departure. Rooms are very clean and contemporary. Nice restaurant & lounge and walking distance to many great places. Very convenient and a great value for the quality of accomodations

The hotel was amazing you pull in to a covered garage. Valet is right there very pleasant and helpful.( never valet'd my car before) so he explained everything and we were greeted inside the hotel to an AMAZING concierge who went over everything to get us checked in. Our room was clean as to be expected. And exactly as advertised. The view of the lake was great. Overcast day but still great. We had cocktails at the bar and the service was great. Had to go again for breakfast the next morning and could not say enough good things about the food and service. I would recommend this Hotel 12/10 it was perfect!!!

I stayed at the best Western for a business trip. It was a great location for the conference I was attending. And the views were great. The hotel bar had great drinks and the rooms were really clean. Valet is a little expensive however it's worth it for the service you get. Finding parking in Madison is always a struggle.

The business side of staying at this hotel was actually great. Valet service, which is required, was outstanding! The restaurant was not open at all for breakfast which was a frustration. There is no hot tub, but the poolside room was excellent, and not too noisey.

I was very pleased with my recent stay. The location was ideal and our room was clean. We requested additional bedding supplies which were promptly delivered. Our bed was comfy and our bathroom nice. The shower was nice and hot! I would definitely stay at this location again. Paul the assistant manager was very friendly and helpful during our check in as wel.

The hotel sits across from the Capital making it a perfect spot as it's close to everything. Hotel was so beautiful- clean and enjoyable. All staff were amazing from front desk to valet attendants—extremely helpful and kind. Our room was upgraded for free and it was spacious and gorgeous and relaxing. We definitely would stay here again.

I've stayed at many best western hotels, but this one is hands down the best. The room was so nice and it actually had a view (normally it's a parking lot for BW). The breakfast was also really nice, but it wasn't free. They also have a bar! Parking is Valet, which is cool. The staff were all really nice and friendly as well. I wish I could give more stars.

Beautiful hotel, high-end room, excellent staff and in the heart of business and entertainment. I especially loved the safety seal on the outside of my door that showed me that it had been clean and no one else had entered. When I opened the door it ripped so I knew that it had been sanitized. I'll be back and you should too!

My favorite hotel in Madison. They always take great care of us. The rooms are clean, the beds are too comfortable to leave. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Also some rooms have the most beautiful view of the capital or lake. Highly recommend staying here.

I travel to Madison several times a year to take my daughter to UW Madison. It was my first time at Best Western Premier “Park Hotel” after being in different boutiques and chain hotels The park is my favorite. Excellent location, updated rooms, best view, clean rooms, helpful staff.

This is a beautiful hotel across from the Capitol. It is well maintained and well done from an interior decorating standpoint. Service was excellent! Great amenities! I highly recommend this hotel when travelling to Madison!

This location was key to everything we wanted to do over the weekend. Central to the places we wanted drive and within walking distance for the places we wanted to visit. The decor was very Madison-rich. Old and new photos of the capital and areas throughout Madison. I loved that touch. Everything was clean. Paying for valet was worth it! At the time we were there, the entire city of Madison was mask mandated…we didn't mind. Just be prepared. Some places even wanted to see your vaccination card. It was a very nice place to stay! We will choose this location again and again.

My wife and I celebrated our birthdays in Madison and stayed at the Premier Park Hotel. We couldn't be more pleased. From the time we arrived we were treated so well. Starting with the valet who was really nice. The front desk person that checked us in was very efficient and upgraded our room without asking. We paid for a king bed with a view, but he moved us up to a suite that was awesome. Everything was so neat and clean. The room was beautifully decorated and maintained. And the view of the Capitol was impressive and beautiful, especially at night all lit up. Shout out to our bartender at the Post bar, Heather - she was so accommodating, had a great sense of humor and easily carried on a conversation…all the while efficiently waiting on all of the guests. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Madison, especially if you want to be downtown on the Square.

We were there with family for my Niece's wedding. Great Hotel, within walking distance to a lot of places....great view out our window of the Capital. Had reception on the top floor of the hotel and everything was perfect....esp just having to press a button to get back to your room!!

The hotel is very nice. It is tastefully decorated and very clean, including our suite. The staff was friendly and we honestly didn't run into any problems... However, I was disappointed at the cost for the return. I selected a suite with a parlor for what I expected to be more space and our suite was really no bigger than a standard hotel room. The bed was sub-par and the water pressure was very weak, in our opinion. Our view of the Capital was spectacular... that was the best part. The hotel did know my husband and I were there to celebrate our anniversary, and though not expected, a simple acknowledgement would have been a nice gesture. Our one request to have a couple wine glasses sent up went ignored and that was disappointing. Again, we were spending quite a bit of money to stay here and hopefully celebrate a memorable wedding anniversary.

One of a kind experience for a Best Western stay - very much more of a boutigue stay vs a standard hotel stay. The location is a very unique and the state capital being outside your window is a very nice bonus

For the premium cost you will be charged for a room here, it is worth your time and money to stay elsewhere. The room was dark and felt like a cell. The hotel was noisy and not enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful. This was the only nice part of the stay.

We have stayed here several times and have always been pleased. The property is above average and the location is excellent especially if you like to walk like we do. It is well maintained, decorated beautifully, and the staff is exceptional. We will stay here again and would recommend it to everyone. We feel it is a good value other than you do have to pay for parking (which is valet only). Our room was lovely and very quiet with great linens and a comfortable bed.

Great access to downtown Madison and restaurants. Our view was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Parking cost was reasonable and easy to use with the valet parking available. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

WEA conferences @ MononaTerrace a pleasant walk east,.. Park's setting north lit beautiful Capitol across street! We'd enjoyed breakfast, strolling west, down extraordinaire State Street's shops.. wonderous

Been staying at the Park Hotel for almost 40 years. For location, amenities, service, and quality of facilities, it would be hard to beat anywhere, and the staff is its most positive feature. You'll feel welcome and cared for.

The hotel staff was friendly and extremely nice and a great resource for local restaurants and local attractions. Clean and welcome upon arrival. For what I paid I would have expected the heat/AC in my room to work properly. It was too warm, especially for sleeping. Set the thermostat low but the room never got below about 70-71 degrees. Called the front desk and was told it was an energy efficient system and could tell when I was in the room and to give it about 30 minutes and it would get to the requested temp. I gave it 5 days and it never happened. Not all the TV channels worked, and for some that did work, there was no sound. Told the front desk and it was never fixed. I was not the only guest with this issue. This happened on day 2 and continued when I left on day 5. The internet was really slow at times and seem hard to connect to from time to time.

They post quiet hours of 11p & 12p respectively but they have bar that stays open until bar close so don't expect to get good sleep. We had to call the front desk and ask them to turn the music down at one point. Not sleep friendly.

Have stayed here multiple times in the past and have always had an enjoyable stay. The location can't be beat. Walking distance to nearly everything and surrounded by great restaurants and bars. Look no further if you want a great hotel in the heart of Madison!

Great location, close to State Street - a great street with a laid back, fun vibe - an easy walk from hotel to campus. If you're a child of the 60's you'll love it. The hotel itself was perfect for us - we weren't looking for deluxe or 5 stars but it was the way a hotel is supposed to be!

Beautiful view outside the window of the capital!, We could lay in bed and enjoy the view and with a window that opens! Everybody who works here loves their job , it really shows.great location ,great pizza down the street, wished we could stay another night.

Weekend trip to visit farmers market... we couldn't have asked to have been closer. Every staff member encountered was polite, accommodating and appreciative. This will be my 1st choice for future stays

A wonderful hotel located in downtown Madison. Walk to restaurants, bars and across from the capital. Valet parking is a great us. I will definitely stay here again! The Post bar & restaurant is awesome. Truly a great value & a wonderful place to stay if you want to experience downtown Madison.

My wife and I stayed here on our first night away from our 8 month old baby. We were looking forward to having a night to ourselves, and the staff made sure we were happy and comfortable at every interaction. The room was a lovely, spacious setup that we were perfectly happy with. But again, it was the service that made this hotel exceptional. Paul and Kim took very good care of me and my wife, and we will absolutely be back as soon as we're able.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was not the cheapest but it was very high quality so I felt like I got my money's worth. The only thing is that the breakfast was not satisfactory. It was just fruit and granola bars and coffee. I was hoping for more of a variety.

Not only was this particular Best Western Beautifully decorated I'd location was perfect proximity to any place you might want to visit . Everyone went out of their way to be welcoming , I loved the fresh clean smell it had as well as the choice of soft and medium pillows

My wife and I stayed here for a night the day after we got married. We came in pretty late but we're greeted by a very helpful valet and an almost jolly receptionist. They seemed excited to have us which is a nice change of pace from other hotels we stayed at. They were generous enough to upgrade us to a corner suite with a view of the capitol building which we greatly appreciated. The rooms were very nice and comfortable, we had a great nights sleep after a long week of wedding planning. COVID obviously restricted breakfast options but what they did have still did the trick for us. At check-out we were again greeted with bright and smiling faces by all the staff. Our only issue is that one of the towels in our room had a couple hairs on it from a previous guest, but it was not an stay-souring issue. Overall, a wonderful stay.

We loved this hotel and it's location! Fabulous and friendly customer service from their valet parking, hotel front desk, and the bar/restaurant. Beautiful hotel, very clean, very nice to be in and around. The location is fabulous. The state capitol is across the street and is beautiful. Lots of places to go within walking distance. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and shops to go to. We visited the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art which we enjoyed. They have a beautiful looking botanical garden which we wanted to visit but the weather wasn't permitting that day. We will definitely look forward and plan to stay at this hotel again for another weekend getaway!

The Park Hotel provides a level of service and class that fits perfectly with it's prime location on the Capitol Square downtown. Their upscale decor, parking valet service and convenience to everything the Square has to offer is unmatched by any other hotel in Madison. Yet the price is quite reasonable. Check out their Capital view rooms for an incredibly inspiring view of the Dome at night. We typically leave our car parked to spend afternoons and evenings walking everywhere for food, entertainment and so much more! This place simply can't be beat!

The last time I was at the Park was in high school...for prom...36 years ago. Needless to say, the property has really kept up with the times, and has been totally renovated since my last visit (probably a couple of times). We scored a deal on this property from Hotwire, and were not disappointed in the least. From secure valet parking to an outstanding restaurant and bar on premises, this place really delivers. Being in the heart of Madison really helps, too. If you stay, make sure to stop in the bar and meet Heather...she's a major reason people return to the Park! I highly recommend this property when staying in downtown Madison; you won't be disappointed.

The entire staff is AWESOME and their service is top notch! The room is extremely clean and the bar is great. The location is perfect for everything and their are dozens of great restaurants within walking distance. Go Badgers!

We stayed here for our daughters graduation from Wisconsin. Upon arrival, they had badger cookies to celebrate and we were informed of a free breakfast buffet both mornings. This was definitely a nice added touch. The manager and front dest workers went over and above to make our check in process easy and even upgraded our son to a Capitol view room. :). The location is perfect .- everything is in walking distance. The staff was amazing - very helpful and friendly. We will always stay here when we return to Madison. Thank you for making graduation weekend and Mother's Day extra special.

Hotel is a newly remodeled hotel right downtown w secure parking n close to everything staff we kind and room was spacious and comfortable because of COVID restaurant at hotel was closed n farmers market had not returned to Capital so we got a great rate

It is a beautiful building and there was an excellent staff working there that who were very helpful, regardless that COVID-19 reduced services. The views of the State Capital building from our window were amazing.

Tried to load my stuff in my car before my last day of conferences. Three of these guys sitting there talking. No one asked if they could help me with a cart or anything. I said I wanted tog eat into my car to load my items- no offer of help. Worse- one asked if I wanted to walk down there to load my items on! I said I have 5 items I was hoping you would pull my car up! Finally they did. I paid $180 per night at this hotel, and this is what I got??

Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff in the parking garage giving us the option of valet parking. We gladly excepted and proceeded inside. Staff at the front desk were also very friendly and personable. Once we returned from our ball we were both a little tipsy and my girlfriend wanted a picture in front of the lobby stairs, but no one was around. A staff member from the front desk, without hesitation, came over and took our photo. Great photos at that! We then proceeded to our room and did what most intoxicated people do and overslept. Of course this happen to be during the time change and we had actually slept till checkout. I called the front desk and explained, they happily let us know we could stay till 1. It was a great trip that involved a little bit of irresponsibility and was handled respectfully and professionally from all the staff who worked that day/night.

For location alone -- right on Capitol Square within walking distance of great restaurants, shopping and the University of Wisconsin -- this Best Western Premier is highly recommended. However, when you add in the incredibly professional and friendly staff and a beautiful renovation, I do not want to stay anywhere else in Madison.

I had an absolutely lovely room--very large, extremely clean, and very fresh and modern feeling. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The people at the front desk were gracious and helpful, making sure that I got exactly the room that I wanted. I had a pretty view and the hotel is in an excellent location. They made my business travel feel like a vacation.

I am disappointed by several things with our stay. First of all, upon arrival to our room, the door was open which I believe is a safety concern. Next, when I went into the room, the bathroom had not been cleaned, There were no towels, wash cloths, etc. No soap, shampoo. No kleenex or extra toilet paper. The floor in the bathroom was dirty which lead me to worry that nothing in the room had been cleaned. The counter tops and tops of all surfaces in the room were dusty. I did alert the front desk and she was very friendly and apologetic. She brought us towels, soap and offered to clean the bathroom. However, knowing that she was the only person on staff at the front desk, I asked her to bring me the cleaning supplies and cleaned the bathroom myself. I will not stay at this hotel again, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

The front desk staff continually made errors with my work credit card, making the check-in and check-out process take 20+ minutes. They refused to take responsibility for their error (entering the # wrong and losing credit card authorization from) and forced me to cover their error with my personal credit card. THEN, at 11:00pm when I was asleep, I got a call on the hotel phone that there was a woman at the front desk saying that a person with my first name was her roommate but she didn't know her room number. The woman was extremely drunk and incoherent, so the front desk was trying to find where she was supposed to be. I did not know the woman or have a roommate on my trip. I was very alarmed by the situation and felt unsafe after telling someone I was in my room alone. The desk staff said they called everyone in the hotel with my first name looking for a place for this woman, which I find extremely unprofessional and inappropriate.

Thank you for another lovely stay. I always enjoy my stay at this hotel. Great service and beautiful spaces. The pool/lounge area is great for gathering with a small group.The happy hour food and beverage options made my stay affordable and fun.

The staff was very friendly and professional -- check in, valet service, and check out. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The best part of all was the location -- close to everything downtown and amazing view of the capital from my window! Would definitely stay again!

Best place to stay in downtown Madison, especially if you want to be right on the Capitol Square. And they have excellent valet parking, which is a major plus when staying downtown! The hotel has been recently renovated, so everything is nice and new and clean. Lots of character to the decor--I liked how they integrated classy historic elements of the hotel into the modern design as well as adding little touches of Madison. Never felt like we were staying in a generic hotel.

It's taken this long for me to realize there's the 'Premier' tier of Best Western, I thought 'Plus was their high end. It was wonderful! My room was not large, just the one queen bed, but that's all I needed for my business trip. It was truly nice; quality lodging at an affordable rate is everything.

Great stay, nice rooms, pleasant front desk girl. Great location for where we were going. Also had a better rate attached to the event we were going too. Continental breakfast would have been nice though.

Hotel is in a great location, with a view of the capital and downtown businesses. Hotel staff was very helpful and upgraded us to a suite. No worry about parking, valet takes care of everything. Overall a wonderful stay

It was a lovely hotel and a lovely stay! Family enjoyed the hotel and the Madison area. Kids loved the pool! The restaurant was beautiful. The front desk staff was helpful and seemed genuinely interested in us having a great stay. It was the nicest best western I've ever experienced.

Stayed here first for work, then came back with my mom for a couple days of fun. The large, warm pool was perfect, fitness rooms are best I've seen in a hotel, staff was very friendly. Can't beat the location, we walked to museums and State Street. Over of the best hotels we've stayed in and cheaper than Holiday Inn we're going to use in another town soon. Wish it included breakfast but not a big deal thanks to the frig and microwave in the room. Also nice to have easy to use coffee maker for my mom and tea for me.

Loved the location and the quality of the hotel. We had an excellent large room with a view of the lake. This is a top notch Best Western property, and very available at the time we traveled, right after Christmas.

I was very surprised when we arrived at the hotel. Thinking this was another typical Best Western was far from it. The Park Plaza had recently gone through a renovation and it was beautifully done! The lobby area was great, the room was spacious and nicely decorated and the pool was unexpected. Each staff member we came across was super friendly and engaging. I would recommend this hotel for either a getaway or a family vacation. Great value

Great location for group gatherings. The view from the 8th floor conference and bar area was a fantastic venue. Capital views were amazing and rooms were quiet and well appointed without being cluttered. Beds were comfortable.

This hotel is conveniently located on the Capitol square, in the midst of an abundance of restaurants, bars, and sights. We went to the Kohl Center to watch a Badgers basketball win over Indiana. We had hoped to also see a win by the football team over Ohio State, but they couldn't quite pull it off. Nevertheless, we had a great time being out and about in Madison and found the Best Western a great place to stay for our weekend of fun and a beautiful view of the Capitol.

Great hotel with a welcoming staff! Great lounge. Good location for restaurants and eateries. Rooms are very nice. Great shower. Blowers for the heat and air were a bit difficult to set consistently, but other than that, great. Restaurant was wonderful for breakfast.

I came in from Texas to Madison WI and definitely underestimated the quality of this hotel. It was an amazing experience and the staff were very pleasant. I would definitely stay at Best Western Premier Park Hotel again.

The Premier Park hotel is positioned perfectly if you're interested in a stay in downtown Madison. This hotel has well appointed rooms, friendly staff, and a wonderful view of the capital with access to bars, restaurants, and venues. I highly recommend splurging on a room with a view of the capital.

The rooms at this hotel are extremely clean and spacious and come with great views. Parking is made easy with the affordable $15/day valet service. Restaurant and lounge are great, but you also have tons of other choices right out the door.

Location is awesome directly across from Capital Square. Room was a bit pricey > 200 for a weekend stay, but room was nice. Rooms up on 7th floor faced the Capital. The food in restaurant was ok not the selling point of the stay. Location great, room good, food ok, service good, and parking cheap.

Room ok and clean but really expensive for a no frills hotel They refused to give us a senior rate as I did not have my AARP number with me. I called when I got home to save $60.00 on the room. It was a scam as most people would not have fought for their discount. I was not happy with them. They also refused to look up my Best Western elite number. I had to call that in after because they said they were too busy.

Amazing location and views of both the capitol and the lake. The suite was quite, very clean, and extremely comfortable. It was exactly as pictured, and access was behind two locked doors. Valet was quick and convenient.

I only stayed for 1 night but the service was fantastic, the room was clean, and the view was excellent. I was lucky enough to have. View of the Capital. I would highly recommend this hotel. It's within walking distance of lots of restaurants as well.

Great location next to the Capital, walking distance and very near many restaurants, bars and the University of Wisconsin. Beautifully renovated rooms, good size, comfortable with a refrigerator and microwave and super clean.

I have to admit, the name "Best Western" doesn't usually fill me with great confidence, but the BW Premier Park Hotel lives up the rave reviews from fellow travelers. First, the location can't be beat. The hotel is in the shadow of the state capitol, and within walking distance to dozens of restaurants, shops, bars, and the university. Park your car and forget about it until you leave. The rooms are pretty standard, but very clean and plenty spacious. Staff friendly and welcoming. The building itself is a beautiful throwback that has retained much of its character from its early days as the Park Hotel. I can't give high marks for value because the hotel jacks up its rates for football weekends, but that appears to be the norm across Madison. Overall a great experience.

We got tired of paying exorbitant prices at nearby hotels on Badger Football weekends. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Wonderful location on the square. Great lobby and bar area. Rooms are updated, quiet and nicely equipped. Wifi was a tad slow but nothing that we cared that much about. You'll love the location - a few steps to the farmers market and lots of great restaurants nearby.

First time staying here - location right on capital square is great - did the amazing Madison farmers market right outside front door. Rooms were comfortable, well appointed, can walk everywhere, parking on site. Recommend!

Great stay! Will be back! We came to Madison to watch a Badgers Football game. The hotel is located in a great location right next to the capital. So many restaurants and coffee shops around. We ate dinner at Johnny Delmonicos (down the street) and it was fabulous. The valet was $15 overnight (quite affordable) and the garage is right there near the lobby. Very easy to get in and out. At the front desk were 2 gentlemen that were super nice and attentive. The room was nice. We had 2 queen beds and they were quite comfy. The shower was heavenly after a cold long day. The only thing was the tv and remote were not working well together. I shouldn't have to spend 2 minutes to turn on the tv each time. Overall a great experience and since our daughter goes to UW Madison, we'll be back!

This is top of the list for location, service and hospitality. The rooms have separate lounge area TV and comfy couch. The view of the capital and capital square right accross the street is amazing. There is no finer or more convienent place to stay in Madison.

I had a short one-night stay here as part of a business trip and was booked into one of the capitol suites. WOW. Everything about this hotel feels fresh, new and polished. The service was great. The view was second-to-none. The room was exceptionally spacious. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and nice. I was so incredibly impressed with all aspects of this hotel. This was my second time this year in a Best Western "Premier" property. This level of service and luxury is not something I've previously attached to the Best Western brand, but based on my two experiences I'm definitely considering staying in their portfolio for future stays. The Premier properties all seem to be boutique-style hotels with elevated service, amenities and character.

It's not often a hotel checks off everything from our want list - but the Premier Park Hotel did. My wife and I spent 4 nights for Ironman Wisconsin and couldn't have asked for a better experience, better location or a more helpful staff. The hotel is located across the street from the capital which is a short walk (maybe a mile) to the University of Wisconsin, close to the many restaurants, shops and more. We appreciated the farmers market on Saturday and the proximity to the lake and walking paths. The rooms were nice with everything you need including a safe. The wifi was solid as was the fitness room and pool. I even ate the restaurant the night after the race and had a good steak for a late night snack. Valet parking was convenient as well. Will definitely book here again!

Everything is nearby. Bubs, restaurants, coffee shops and Overture theater. Also right across the street from the Capital Building (which is quite the place to visit). Must valet park your car but price was reasonable. Room was clean and modern. Only complaint is that there were several street people around the area so walking around in the evening was...a little interesting.

I booked the Presidential Suite for a weekend with my fiancé and I was very impressed by it. The Presidential Suite is this hotel's largest suite and most expensive suite. There is a dining table, desk, and chest of drawers near the entryway to put hats/gloves in. The living room area has a sofa, ottoman, 2 chairs and a table, TV, microwave and refrigerator, and coffee/tea service station. The bedroom has a very comfortable king bed, a night stand on either side, a dresser with a TV on it, and a chair next to the window. The bathroom vanity has 2 sinks, walk-in shower with a ceiling rainfall showerhead as well as an adjustable height/removable showerhead, and the soaking tub is large and easily fit both of us. The tub also has nice gentle/relaxing air jets along the sides that can be adjusted to which jets you want running and how powerful they are. The view is spectacular because there are floor-to-ceiling windows, it is on the top floor, on the corner, and overlooks the Capitol building and part of downtown. Saturday morning there was a Wall Street Journal outside the door. I had the 'do not disturb' sign on the door until late morning and we were left undisturbed. Housekeeping tidied up the room by taking out the trash, restocking the coffee station, making the bed, taking out the used linens, replenishing all the used linens with fresh ones, and replenished the toiletries. The room looked just as good as it was when we first walked in the night before, only our things were in the room. The valet parking that was offered by the hotel was very efficient. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was greeted and asked if I was checking into the hotel and given a claim check to be able to retrieve my vehicle. I was also told I could come and go anytime I wanted and they would get my vehicle for me each time. We wanted to take a drive to the mall about 20 minutes away by car on Saturday and the valet person got our vehicle out to us within 2 minutes, so I gave him a tip for that. Upon returning to the valet station, I was greeted and welcomed back. The valet person gave us time to get out of our vehicle without feeling rushed and just asked that I leave the key for them to park the vehicle for us. The high speed wi-fi was fast and reliable. There is a pool, fitness center, restaurant, and cocktail lounge. We did not use any of these facilities, but the restaurant looked very nice from the front windows. The only downside that I experienced was that, both nights, the tub took 25-30 minutes to fill to the level we wanted it to be at, which was not even as high as it could go. The second night I planned for it and left the water running while I was in the living room area. I do not believe there is much that can be done about this considering it is a large and deep tub. Overall, I would definitely come back to this hotel. It is not the most affordable place to stay, but the location is wonderful and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. There is a large number of younger people out in the evening due to proximity of the university.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and service. At all times the staff was professional and responsive to needs. The beds were super comfy and the amenities perfect for the price point.

We stayed here for the Ironman race for 4 nights. Such a great location right on the square and close to the ironman sites. Loved having the Saturday market right outside our door as well. The hotel was modern, super clean and everyone was really helpful. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Madison!

This was a nice place, but not worth the $289/not rate. Despite the classy name, it is still a Best Western. Spartan gym. (Not from Sparta, but sparse). Quiet. Nice location with great views of the Capitol. $15/nt for valet parking. Very bare lobby. A big surprise was the plastic, low quality toilet seat. Good for location and sleep.

This hotel is convenient and clean throughout with friendly service. The shuttle to and from the airport was quick and efficient. Best of all, the hotel is across from the stunning Wisconsin State Capitol, and therefore across from the huge Farmers' Market when it's in season. A walk down State Street will take visitors to many interesting shops, stores, and museums. Highly recommended!

The hotel was beautiful, as was the food and service. The location and venue for the Wedding was fabulous! The view of the city and the capital both day and night were amazing! We highly recommend this hotel and its location in the city, easy to get to O'hare from hotel.

A very nice place to stay in downtown Madison right on the square, convenient to everything. Good level of service. Good amenities. They do have a workout facility, and it has the basics for a quick workout.

I come to this hotel every year for my annual work conference. It's located in a great part of the city overlooking the state capital building with lots of restaurants around in walking distance. Staff are nice and courteous as well. However, the housekeeping and cleanliness is not up to par. One evening I came to my hotel room and found it in the most bizarre state where the bathroom had been cleaned but the bed had not been made and the floors has not been cleaned either. It's as if someone left it half way through cleaning it. When I called downstairs to the front desk they just said they would let manager know and that's it. I expected more from a hotel is this caliber.

Best Western Premier Madison is very clean, fancy and they strive for providing excellent customer care as I witnessed firsthand when I stayed there for a couple days last week. They are all very friendly and make you feel valued.

This hotel is right on the square in Madison, WI. Surrounded by great restaurants, across the street the Capital building and just 2 blocks from the water - perfect location. Friendly staff, nice bar, great room - couldn't ask for more.

What a perfect stay I had! Everything was perfect. From the valet to check in to housekeeping, cannot offer enough positives. My queen single room, while snug, was just right. Very clean! (Just maybe take a vacuum to the velour chair) The bathroom was spotless. I loved walking around town with the hotel so central. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

This historic but updated hotel has the best location in town, right on Capitol Square. The state capitol is across the street and there are excellent dining choices on the square. You have a ring side seat for the farmer's market as well. The young woman manager at the front desk and indeed virtually all the staff couldn't have been more helpful and parking is so convenient. Highly recommended

I hadn't been here since it was the old Inn on the Park and let me tell you this is a maaaaajor upgrade. The staff is second to none and the room was beautiful with a view of the Wisconsin State Capitol. The bathroom was super luxurious and the valet parking was the fastest ever! I will be back!

I enjoyed my stay here - staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and fresh. The hotel was busy but extremely quiet. They only have a pool that is overlooked by other rooms so I didn't use it, but it looked nice. I also wish they had a hot tub.

This was my 1st stay at this Hotel. I have stayed at 4 other hotels around the Capitol square to attend 13 other GTMW. Room was on the smaller side but very clean and fresh. The elevators are quick and so was the valet parking. The staff were friendly but knew nothing about GTMW and did not provide shuttle service to anywhere but the airport. Hotel is super convenient to places I plan to stay again

The hotel is close to anything you may want to do. We visited the Children's Museum, Farmers Market and the Henry Vilas Zoo. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. It was a great stay!

My stay at the Best Western Premier Park Hotel was excellent--exceeded my expectations. The location of this hotel is perfect if you are on business in Madison. The conference I attended was at the Monona Conference Center which was an easy 5 - 7 minute walk from this hotel. The views are spectacular--I was on 2nd floor with a Capitol view. Easy walking distance to multiple dining and shopping, and sight-seeing opportunities. Staff were friendly, professional, and efficient. This hotel will be my first choice for any future visit to Madison.

From the airport shuttle pick up (free) to the friendly and helpful front desk I would definitely recommend this hotel. I was in town for the Crossfit Games and it was close to EVERYTHING! State St is within walking distance as are both lakes. Such a beautiful city.

The room was spacious with a wonderful view of the State Capitol.. The service was lovely at the front desk. Really respect the GM who jumped in and drove the shuttle to the airport as the valets were slammed. So what went wrong? We lefft the room early on Saturday morning and returned at the end of the day to find an unclean room. The bed was made. There was a new bathmat in the shower...but that was it. The bathroom was a mess, never cleaned. Trash not emptied in any area. Coffee not replenished. One of the joys of staying in a hotel is coming back to a nice fresh room. Not the case here and it colored the rest of what was basically a really nice stay. Disappointing.

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, the pillows were so plush and plentiful. We used the pool a few times, it was a good size for a quick dip after walking around to nearby shops and restaurants on a hot summer day. Location of this hotel is the main reason we picked the Best Western. Step outside and you are right on the square of the Capital, great restaurants all around and night life was fun. We ended up at a dueling piano bar which was only 2 blocks away! We also went to the Saturday morning farmer's market on the square! Great hotel and location, can't wait to go back!

My stay at the Park Hotel was great. I had a great suite overlooking the Capitol. The staff was responsive and the service was excellent. I left some prescriptions in the room and when I returned to Dallas, I called on a Friday night to see if they were still in the room. Paul not only found my meds, but called me from his cell phone on a Saturday and had them FedEx -ed back to me on Sunday.

BWP is everything we look for in a great hotel -- beautiful, clean, quiet, comfortable, excellent location on Capitol Square, super staff, and at the best price of all the comparable hotels in the area. We will be back for the Dane County Farmers Market in the fall.

Ideally located, spotlessly clean, friendly staff. The decor is lovely. The beds comfortable. The hotel is on Madison's square, across the street from the State Capitol. Restaurants are plentiful in the area. It's a short walk to Lake Monona

The hotel is beautiful, the service excellent, and the location was perfect for our needs. The staff went above and beyond in welcoming us and making sure we had everything we needed upon check-in, and assisting us with the valet parking and luggage storage on the last day of our stay.

Great service by Evening Manager and Maintenance staff to correct Tub stopper which would not work to hold water for bath! Worked on problem until 10p at night so I could enjoy hot soak! Really appreciated staff taking my request seriously!

You had me at your Capitol views! I can't say enough great things about this excellent hotel! The customer service is the best we've experienced; love the room layout and one of best breakfasts we've had - and healthy! Florentine Benedict and avacado brioche toast with fresh smoked salmon - so delish!!!!

We chose this hotel because of the location, location, location! We came to Madison specifically for the Saturday Farmer's Market and this hotel is right on Capitol hill so you just walk out the hotel and there is the Farmer's Market. Everything in the room from the furniture, shower, flat screen TV and King size bed was in excellent condition. The only improvement I would like to see is for the hotel to offer free Valet parking to guests. Their policy is $15.00 a day for valet parking. We are looking up availability for dates in the future that we would like to stay here.

Every other year an herb society I belong to hosts an educational conference. It is attended by about 300 people and it was an excellent choice for our group. The hotel staff, food service staff and housekeeping were excellent. All members had positive attitudes and did their jobs well. The rooms were clean, quiet and well designed. The needs of the conference were done on time and the refreshment stands were kept well stocked and clean. The food was delivered hot and visually appealing.

The Valet scratched my car, otherwise everything went really well, and everyone was super nice. Lost of good food, within walking distance. The Post is a little over priced, for food, but the drinks are fair.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, had many amenities, comfortable bed and pillows. The location was perfect - right across from the Capitol. The decor was updated art deco and quite beautiful. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and museums. Free shuttle service to a concert.

Went back to Madison for a class reunion. This hotel happened to be" our" alumni hotel where most alumni stayed.. It is centrally located, right on the Capitol Square convenient to everything: the campus, the lakes and the Capitol building. Most important of all, STATE Street which connect s the hotel to the UW Campus, is still there where many new restaurants sprung up since we left >50 years ago. A lot of fond memories! Service and amenities were top notched. The in-house restaurant, The Post ,serves excellent breakfast, lunch, happy hours , dinner, and night snacks. Staff was very helpful which made our stay so much enjoyable. And the room rate (we had a King deluxe on the top floor with good view of Lake Monona) was super-reasonable. Gosh, I wish I had an excuse to go back to Madison so I can stay at the Park again.

This hotel was one of the very best I have stayed at. Valet was quick & easy, friendly staff. I extremely well maintained from the pineapple water complimentary for thirsty travelers to the immaculate halls, walls & mirrors. I was impressed from the get go!

I had a week long stay at Best Western for business, and I had an excellent stay. The staff was so friendly, professional, and accommodating. The employees working the valet parking were also very nice and hardworking. The rooms were immaculate. I have absolutely no complaints about my stay!!!

Spent 3 days at this hotel for a family wedding. The location was great for us easy access to things to do without driving. The food in the restaurant has lots of tasty choices at very reasonable prices for a hotel restaurant. Most impressive were the staff who handled our group of families juggling the fact we would have a few seated and ordering with more folks joining, helping accommodate special needs folks with us and every family wanting separate checks. The events set up staff were also amazing !!

Great place to stay if you have business at the Capitol. Good meeting rooms, near everything in downtown Madison and great view as well. Friendly and courteous staff. Having valet parking is a big help in downtown Madison. Rooms are clean and comfortable. This hotel is my first choice when I travel to Madison

Our first time staying in this property. It is historic but has been beautifully and artfully redesigned. Beautiful tile and marble bathrooms and nice beds and decor with great views. The property itself is very well maintained and the staff helpful and friendly. The on-site restaurant, the Post, was surprisingly good! Would return.

Historically, Best Western doesn't have a great reputation but you be an idiot to pass up this one!! My overall experience was phenomenal. I'm very well designed hotel with exceptional guest rooms in first class amenities. And the view from my room was spectacular. I would recommend anyone visiting Madison to stay at the Best Western Park. You will not be disappointed, I guarantee it.

Perfect location. Valet was kind and effective and not too expensive. Check in went well. Room without Capitol view has terrible view (Brick wall, concrete roof and ACs). Toilet did not flush without taking it apart and reaching into the water tank every time. It was not fixed over 3 days despite calling for service and leaving it half-assembled for room service. Bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi worked well. There is no coffee or breakfast (these can be naught at the restaurant) despite the fact that the place otherwise feels like a business travel hotel.

I gather from the locals that the Premiere Park has been there for quite a while but the Best Western ownership is new. It is conveniently located across from the state capitol. Nice lobby, clean, fast elevators. The rooms that I saw were all suite style with a separate living area and bedroom. Mine had a window, but it did not look outside but rather onto a corridor and the gym. But awkward when walking around in your underwear or less. Big bathrooms, but no tubs. The shower was level with the main bathroom floor. with a round strip to try to keep the water in. The combination of shower leak and tile bathroom floors was a serious slipping hazard. Bedroom was well appointed and comfortable. Minor picky, but some of the molding was coming off the wall, just hanging there. Visually at odds with the upscale appearance of the place.

It was a very nice place they made us feel very welcome and appreciated . Very nice decor very nice view (the capital building) , we needed and extra shampoo and needed the couch bed made up and they came right up .

The hotel was recently renovated and they did a great job. The bed was comfortable, the room was very clean, front desk staff was friendly and helpful as were the valet staff. Great location to walk to shops and restaurants.

We stayed here over Easter weekend. The location is phenomenal - right across the street from the state capital building. This means there are tons of restaurants and attractions around, and many, many of the bus lines converge here. There was even a farmer's market on Saturday to explore. The hotel is nicely clean, and the service was very friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant (that we didn't try,) a full service bar, and a quick convenient shop with very reasonably priced water, juice, soda, and many sundry items in case you forgot something. Valet parking is pretty reasonably priced at about $17 per night. We had a king suite that overlooked Lake Monona (and had an OK view of the capital). All rooms have a fridge, a microwave, a coffeemaker, and a safe. The suite had a very nice sofa and chair as well as a desk with chair. The others in our group has a regular room with two queens, and it was fairly large as well. The bathrooms were all nicely clean with easy access showers. The beds were quite firm, and for my older bones, I tossed and turned quite a bit and woke up with sore hips. The AC unit made quite a bit of noise when it kicked in, but once I set the fan to run on low all the time, it was some better. We would stay here again but might try another location if we had to stay for very many nights.

We stayed here for two nights in April while visiting the university. The hotel is conveniently located across from the capital and perhaps 5-6 blocks from the edge of the university campus. Overall the area around the capital is very clean, well maintained, and well light at night. The hotel is a Best Western, but its definitely more upscale than most BW properties. Hence the Premier Collection. The lobby was elegant and the staff very friendly and efficient. From the time we valet parked our car to waking into our room was less than 10 minutes. My only concern was that we were gone almost the entire day (returning around 4pm) and our room was not cleaned. Shortly after we arrived at 4pm, the staff knocked on the door to service the room. I would have expected the room to be done earlier in the day. Otherwise, our experience was very good with the hotel and will likely stay here is we find ourselves in Madison again.

Its not cheap but very nice and convenient hotel for college visit. Very clean. Location is great.Valet Parking is available but extra. But looks like everyone charges extra for parking We did not use any restaurants. There are plenty of options around.

We stayed at the best western premier park hotel while visiting madison. The location is fantastic, directly on capitol square. Conveniently located nearby shops, restaurants and gyms. The staff were excellent and breakfast was healthy as per our request.

I was here for a week. This hotel has the best location next to Capitol and very close to State Street. I had the perfect view to Capitol Square. Nice big room, everything was great, kind and nice staff in the reception and drivers. I will definetly come again.

My friend and I decided to meet half way and have a girls night. We stayed at the BWP and we were completely satisfied with the hotel cleanliness, atmosphere, employees, even decor. Definitely worth the stay and it was right in the middle of everything. Not to mention we had the Capital King Suite and our view was amazing!

Yea, I gave an extra star because they had a Recycle trash can in our room. The green movement isn't just with water usage. I like it being on the square and access to restaurants etc. valet parking only but the price is very reasonable. Nice bar, gym and pool but we didn't check it out. Room are clean and nice.

My husband and I were coming up to Madison for a concert, so we stayed Friday through Sunday. I picked this hotel for its proximity to the Kohl Center on campus, as well as things to do downtown. The location was indeed really nice. It was fairly chilly that weekend, but we were close enough for a quick 20 minute walk to the Kohl Center, <5 minute walk to State Street, and then 25 minute walk down to a distillery and restaurants we found. We chose to use valet parking, which worked out well coming in. Right when we entered the hotel, though, the front desk attendant was cursing at something/someone else, so that kind of took us aback, but those things don't really bother us. We got a nice chocolate bar as a check-in gift, so that was nice. The rooms were really spacious and had a nice view. We weren't on the Capitol side, but we could see out to the water which was nice. When we checked out, there was a fairly long line for the valet, but they handled it pretty efficiently, so we had no complaints there. Overall it was a nice stay if you can get a good deal on the room.

This hotel is in the perfect location for a visit to the capitol or to experience the museums and venue's in downtown Madison. The rooms are beautifully appointed and very clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again when I go back to enjoy more of what Madison has to offer.

This Hotel was perfect! My Husband and I wanted to stay in a downtown hotel for our anniversary this was the right location! Front desk was prompt and very friendly, valet was excellent too! Unfortunately I left some items behind in our room, luckily housekeeping found my items and the very helpful Ms. Patricia got them back to me very quickly, she kept me up to date on what was found and what was sent and how much it was. I really really am so thankful for her and her outstanding help! She was great! thank you again for the awesome stay and we will return in the future!!

Second time staying there. Very accomadating and nice. Great location for walking around. Place is always clean and well stocked. Staff is very friendly. Only issues was the lack of hot water when taking a shower.

Wife and I came in for a concert & made a weekend out of it. The room was nice and comfortable. The TV worked some times. It was in and out. Guessing they have dish or directv and was just a satellite issue. Didn't bother us to much since we were out and about most of the trip. Kind of annoying the few times we tried. The internet was spotty to. Great location! Can get to restaurants and bars easily. Also near multiple attractions. Can get about any where you want in 10 minutes walking. Our concert was at the Kohl Center and we walked, easy to get to.

Very nice and comfortable stay! I LOVE the pillows and could have slept all day! :) The location was great for restaurants to choose from within walking distance and a beautiful view of the capitol right out the front door. Was also within walking distance to our meeting location. Always enjoy staying here.

Great stay for a conference. Sleeping room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The conference facilities are excellent, food great. The restaurant and bar was inviting, service great and food excellent. The front desk staff was welcoming and efficient. All in all I highly recommend this facility.

This hotel is beautiful, clean, newly remodeled with friendly helpful staff. The pool and pool area are especially clean,comfortable and a lot of fun. The rooms are spacious with walk in showers, very nice! Get a room with a view of the capital, it is really spectacular! We eat at the hotel restaurant and had a very good meal without the crowds on a Saturday night. We truly enjoyed our weekend stay.

When in Madison, I always stay here. The staff is friendly and attentive and the accommodations are clean, updated and well-equipped. The fitness center has been recently updated and the staff are always willing to open it up early for me as I am a very early riser.

I highly recommend getting a room with a view because it was breathtaking and well worth it!! The lounge/restaurant is very nice and modern with good prices! Can't wait to come stay again which I'll be doing regularly especially in the nicer months to be able to walk and explore!

I had a great stay at this Best Western in Madison. The view of the square was great. The service was wonderful. The location was close to the restaurants we ate at. They fitness center had prism Fitness mats and accessories. That was great! Local small business support! The front desk staff and the valet parking staff were helpful and provided excellent service. You can't get a better location to stay if you want to be close to campus and the capitol. The bathrooms are small and the water is soft so you don't feel clean after showering. But...it is close to so many great bars and restaurants. The staff couldn't be nicer!

The hotel looks amazing! Fitness center and pool are amazing. I wanted to work out earlier than 6am when fitness center opens and I was immediately accommodated no questions no hesitation!!!! Candy bar at check in is a nice plus! Small store is very convenient and not over priced as you see in some hotels!! Ability to take car in and out for same nightly rate was definitely a plus. The pillows were heaven!!

Beautiful hotel right in the middle of everything. We have stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed. Many restaurants and taverns within walking distance. We were in town for a concert at The Sylvee.

Spent a night here for a conference/meeting. I had been here once before many years ago before their renovations. This is a beautiful hotel with great front desk staff who were very polite and helpful. Actually everyone from the valets to the other staff were all great. Nice clean room with very nice decor. Room well appointed and had everything I needed including a safe and mini-fridge. Very quiet too. First time in many hotel trips I barely heard anything at all including noise from outside the building which helped give me a restful night's sleep. Hotel is in a great location too right across from the State Capitol. Walking distance to many of the Capitol areas restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was great. Many options for things to do. I will definitely return if given the opportunity to do so.

Met friends for a birthday/holiday celebration. We had the place to ourselves around 10am. Beautiful place, on the Capitol Square. Excellent service and food. Will definitely come back. We did not use the onsite parking garage. There's lots of street/public ramp space nearby.

On a drive back home, we decided last minute to stop in Madison, and found this hotel online as we were driving around. What a lovely surprise. First of all, the location is excellent, across from the capitol building which is spectacularly lit at night. Valet parking is easy and the hotel is walking distance to some great restaurants and bars. There is also a nice upscale bar in the hotel where we stopped for a nightcap before turning in. (Good service and an attentive and friendly bartender). The lobby has been renovated in the past two years and is absolutely beautiful. Decor is mid century modern with gold and indigo accents. Really sharp and made me think that some of the older hotels in New York City could get some design tips from this hotel. Hotel is also extremely clean. We paid a bit more for the room than we planned for a last minute stay, but ended up in a beautiful room with a king bed and a lake view. It seems as though the rooms do vary here, so I would say that our room (I think it might have been 702) was worth the extra price. A large bathroom, quality beauty products (loved the grapefruit body wash), and plush towels were a nice touch. The bed was more on the firm side than a lot of hotels, but I thought it was very comfortable. Take note if that isn't your thing. We really loved our stay and will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Madison.

Wow, I am not sure why the rooms are so different but buyer beware. I found my room on Priceline, so maybe I got the worst room in the hotel because of it, but I will not stay here again. The room literally shared a wall with the workout room and the elevator. But, that wasn't the biggest issue. I can't stand any noise when I sleep so I turn off the HVAC system when I get to a room. However, Room 315 has an addition vent with a fan that you can NEVER TURN OFF. There is no switch for it. The front desk had zero suggestion for me either. Also the bed was as hard as the floor. I think they forgot to put the soft mattress pad on it. I ended up sleeping on the sofa in the room. It was a bit softer than the bed, and away from the annoying fan sound. However, it was right next to the refrigerator, so that kept turning on and off all night. So yeah, $100 for a horrible nights sleep.

I don't think of Best Western as an upscale brand, but this place was an unexpectedly great experience. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, with modern marble shower, wifi, etc. Excellent service and valet. There's no free breakfast, but the price was very reasonable for the quality, and the in-hotel restaurant is convenient, quiet, and friendly.

We try to stay here whenever we are in Madison. This hotel is a great option for college visits and family/friend trips to events. It has been beautifully updated, is across the street from the magnificent Wisconsin State Capitol Building, and, is just a few blocks from State Street. I highly recommend this hotel for its location. Rooms are wonderful, clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff has always been helpful and pleasant. We have stayed here for many years and love the updated version.

Our stay Madison WI Premier Park Hotel was perfect. One wall of our room overlooked the city and the room amenities were fantastic. Lots of Madison history throughout the hotel. Great guest service staff. We are repeat guests! A great value!

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Premier Park Hotel . We stayed 2 nights November 9 & 10th weekend and could not have been more pleased with our accommodations. There was a wedding going on that weekend and the bridal party was having a great time and did not disturb our stay one bit. We came into meet our son's girlfriends parents. Located across from the Capital Building and catching the last weekend of the farmers market and the first snow fall of the season was awesome. The bars and restaurants so close and so may to choose from was a plus. Definitely would recommend this Hotel!

Classy, quality destination. Great location, good parking options. Efficient and friendly staff. Close to all the action of the city but enough distance from the student craziness. Walkable to great shops, restaurants, and water.

I was in town for the Madison Marathon, proximity to the race was awesome. If you want to be on Capitol Square, then this is the place to stay. Our room was smallish but comfortable. The bathroom was newly remodeled and very nice. The family used the pool facilities and loved it. Only issue was that the pool was near a lounge area which had what looked like a cocktail party going on. The family felt a little weird about using the pool during the party. The fitness area is large and very nice with everything in working order. Guests decided to have a little get-together in the hallway outside our room at about 2 AM. Otherwise the hotel was quiet.

We were there for the marathon and the hotel staff were so helpful. We used valet parking...great. The room was comfortable and cozy. They allowed us to check out two hours later than normal. The king size bed great, bathroom extremely clean.

I came here with my daughter and grandson for the Madison Marathon. We stayed here because it was so close the the start and finish of the race. I had been at another Best Western in Massapequa, NY two weekends before, so I did not expect the accommodations to be so great. I was overwhelmed as to how superior the Park was! Wow! The room was white glove clean, the bathroom was shining and the bed was super comfy. The remodeling was very high end. I could not have asked for a more pleasant stay.

The Park hotel formerly the Park View Inn went through major renovations since the last time I stayed there for a conference. The rooms are very comfortable and the POST lounge and restaurant have excellent service and food. They have kept the historical aspect in tact and the amenities are superb. We enjoyed our time there very much!

My husband and I took a little "staycation" for an evening. Our expectations were far surpassed by the room, staff and amenities. The room was spotless, comfortable and had a beautiful view of the capital.

6 nights 4 hotels later and the Best Western is probably the nicest we stayed in. Lovely room facing the Capitol. What I did enjoy was this was the first hotel we stayed at in 6 days that had ceramic plates and metal cutlery for breakfast. My carbon footprint at the other hotels would have been huge with the ammount of plastic and paper waste I created. My physical footprint increased here with a great buffet breakfast with a huge variety to choose from. Nice bar, great vibe at happy hour and good staff throughout. One of the few hotels in which I could open a window. Street noise was a bit loud, but I took that and fresh air over sleeping in stuffy aircon.

Great hotel and value in the centre of town. Beautifully redecorated property. Comfortable rooms. Amenable and accommodating staff. Valet parking service was excellent; be aware that self parking is not an option.We attended a wedding held during homecoming weekend. Service in the lounge/restaurant was slow on the weekday afternoons (Thur and Fri) prior but servers and food were always excellent.

We stayed here when in Madison for a college tour. This is a very nice hotel! Underrated, in our opinion. We travel frequently and stay in some nice places, we were pleasantly surprised. Room was large, well appointed, and had a great bathroom. I used the fitness center, it was more than adequate. The pool area, although small, was great. Location is perfect, lots of restaurants around and close to campus/State Street. Would highly recommend this place!

The recent renovation of an old historical building is extremely well done. The location is fantastic. The amenities are great. The only area that this fell down was staff-related. Checking in we were told the view from the room is a bit of a lottery and we won the lottery. Our room faced to a backstreet bar so I'm not sure where that comment came from. Also our room was cleaned very late in the day and the work was a bit shoddy. Still for the overall quality, price and location I would stay here again, maybe we just hit a few week spots in the personnel.

We travel quite a bit and stay in many highly rated hotels. This hotel is extreamily under rated. First look at the history of the hotel which is preserved on murals and historical photos If you ask the staff can fill you in of how important this hotel is to the development of Madison as the capital of the state. Park Inn rooms are beautifully decorated suites with plenty of space to relax and overlooks the capital square. You could not ask for a more relaxing scenic view. As you walk out the door you will realize you are in the best location in town. If it's Saturday just across the street is the best farmers market you will ever go to. In short walking distance from your door are Madison finest restaurants. Although you have in and out privileges we never needed our car because everything is within a block. When we come back to the hotel the front desk staff is always polite and friendly and helpful. If you're having breakfast try George's Special Omelet & hash browns it's Amazing!

Stayed at the Best Western Premier in downtown Madison, WI. My parents visiting from Cali were so impressed. The staff was polite and location was amazing. We were able to walk across the street to the Capitol and take a tour. Everything is walking distance including great happy hours. Price was higher due to the convenient location but it was well worth it.

This hotel has a lot of charm and the location is convenient for spending time downtown Madison. My friends and I stayed here and the room was very clean and updated. We stayed pool side which has a nice seating area so you can relax there. The only downfalls were, the beds were not comfortable and there is not hot tub, personal preference but would have made the stay even better.

First I want to say what was great about this hotel. The staff at the front desk, along with the valet attendants, were very friendly and quickly and easily processed my check-in. The hotel is very impressive, from the moment you walk into the lobby, to the beautifully decorated rooms. The chocolate bar from the young woman at the check-in counter was a really nice treat. She also gave me directions to a good place to catch the sunset. My room had a queen sized bed, and the sitting room had a sofa sleeper. The bathroom was elegant with marble tile in the shower. The view from my bedroom window was incredible! The location of this hotel was close to many good restaurants and bars--a lot within walking distance. It was a quiet Sunday night in Madison, but the bar right next to the hotel, Genna's, was open, as was a restaurant called The Tornado Room, and we enjoyed both of them, even late on Sunday night. I really couldn't imagine anything going any better. But my problem was related to the valet parking. I had read a lot of reviews that mentioned that there was no free parking associated with the hotel, and that valet parking was the only option for parking directly at the hotel. When I checked in, I was asked if I was fine with the $15 fee for the valet parking (I was), and then I mentioned that my daughter, who was coming from a different location would be parking there too. I informed the front desk that I wanted her valet parking to be put on my bill, and they said it was fine, and we made plans for that to happen (this would have been the ideal time to warn me about what was to happen when my daughter arrived). I wasn't unhappy paying the $15 valet fee, because I thought it wasn't a ridiculous price, and I knew ahead of time what to expect. However, what happened when my daughter arrived wasn't expected and I thought it was ridiculous. The valet attendant said to me her valet parking would be $30. I thought he was making a mistake and I then asked the valet parking captain, who said he didn't make the rules. He said the second car valet fee was $30. I told him that was ridiculous. I wasn't going to pay $30 for her, while I only paid $15, and we were both guests of the hotel. I then asked the people at the front desk if I had to pay the $30 parking fee, and they said that is what the fee was for the second car. I asked them to reconsider, because I wasn't going to pay the $30 fee, and told them I felt it was ridiculous. I was also upset because this was the first time I was hearing about this elevated second-car parking fee. Anyway, as it turned out, I left with my daughter's car, and drove down the street, where I found a parking garage, and then paid for a new spot. I want to say I understand that the people working at the front desk don't make the hotel policy, and while they were wonderful with checking me in, they let me leave the hotel to find another parking spot (one they actually recommended on a street behind the hotel) and pay for it. After I did that, I walked back to the hotel--quite unhappy--the gentleman at the front desk said if I wanted to walk back to the parking garage where I had paid for a new parking spot, and bring the car back to the hotel, he would let me park my daughter's car there for $15. This was very nice, and while I appreciated it, I reminded him that I did ask both of the front desk attendants if I could do that, and they let me leave. Anyway, they were nice people, and I do think they wanted me to be happy, but, for lack of a better word, that whole incident was ridiculous. I did eventually go get the car from the other parking garage, and the front desk people agreed to comp me for the parking spot. I guess the lesson here for me would be to ask if there was a different fee for a second car to valet park, and the lesson for the hotel staff would be to inform customers of the elevated fee when they were informed that there would be a second car parking there. I wouldn't have been happy, but at least I would have known about it ahead of time, and could have planned ahead for my daughter to park elsewhere. I will add that this morning I noticed a sign had been put up at the valet window that parking was $15 for one car, and $30 if there was a second car. As far as the fee goes, I plan to contact Best Western and let them know that I think that doubling the valet fee for the second car is gouging their customers. I understand that the parking garage contributes to hotel income, but I don't agree that they should stick it to customers who are already paying to stay there. I do think $15 for the valet parking isn't ridiculous. It really is a shame this happened, because other than that, this hotel stay would have been perfect. I would have given it an excellent rating.

Visited Madison to relax and visit the farmer's market. We've stayed in many hotels in the area as we had family living in Madison. There is none better than the Premier Park Hotel. From it prime location across from the Capitol to its extraordinarily friendly and accommodating staff to its ultra clean rooms and great bar area, this is the best place to stay in Madison. From check in to check out the stay was fantastic. Our room overlooking the Capitol was the cleanest we have found in years. When we found our coffee maker did not work, one was brought up within minutes of our request. The bar had a great happy hour and the grab and go breakfast was perfect. Other hotels claiming to be more "upscale" have nothing on this place. We look forward to our next trip to Madison and Premier Park Hotel.

Excellent hotel within the city. Stayed for a conference and the hotel room was beautiful, gym clean, restaurants and events locations wonderful. Walking distance to lots to do. I will be staying again!

I booked this hotel as we were attending a trade show. Price was okay for the area. Rooms are spacious and nice. Bathroom was good - awesome shower and shower head! I have long thick hair, so the shower is always important to me. The on-site restaurant was a nice place to have breakfast. Staff was very nice and very helpful. I would absolutely stay here again. The bonus is that it is located about 2 blocks from State Street.

This was the perfect hotel for Ironman WI. The close location to the Monona Terrace, valet parking, and onsite restaurant made it an ideal homebase for our families during the long 12+ hour day. The staff was also incredibly welcoming and friendly, which was so reflective of why we love coming to Madison! I'd highly recommend this hotel for Ironman or otherwise!

I booked this hotel via expedia due to the cheap price and its location. I was surprised there was valet parking, free for guests. That was nice. There was road construction going on so we were directed all around but the staff were very friendly and courteous...helping me not be as irritated from the detours.

Nice stay at this Hotel summer of 2018 for three nights. Ask for view to the Capitol Building. High standard in room. Quiet with nice staff at the reception desk. I was on a tour trip with 30 other people and everything went just fine. Nice corner place to take a beer just twenty meter accros the street to the right. Or use the hotels own place. Great!

Rooms have been remodeled since my stay and they are much improved. I did encounter a couple of strange things 1 my toilet chain kept coming off so to flush the toilet I had to remove the led and pull the chain by hand. I left the lid off so housekeeping would see it and hopefully fit it but every day when I returned the lid was back on but not fixed. 2 The other strange thing was - Housekeeping never left towels which became my nightly call to the front desk for towels to be brought to my room. Other than those two things it was great and yes I would stay here again

Very quiet hotel ! Considering a Metallica concert was in town ! (Which we attended) I was anticipating loud ,drunk people in hallways all night and that never happened Room very clean and updated shower . Microwave very noisy and no high def on tv .I wish there were more food options for less than $40 a plate . The taste of Madison was going on also which made it extremely busy! And it was raining !(And construction) overall a good stay . Not a fan of valet parking but all went well

Great location. Renovated but still looks aged. Front desk was nice. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Amenities are fine. View was nice. Room keeping was uneven. I did not receive loyalty points (because company paid for rooms??) Breakfast is only by table service. Parking is as expensive as if we were in Chicago...

OK Desk and Valet services. Old, tired physical space. Hotel has excellent location if you are doing government business, but marginal utilility for business outside of government. Manadatory valet for car in and out provided good service, but more involved than it needs to be.

The property is in a great location, walking distance from Monona Terrace and many excellent places to eat. Full service bar, pool & workout room. Great place to stay and reasonably priced. I have stayed here several times and since the remodel a couple years ago it's as nice or nicer than some of the more expensive brands.

I came to Madison for a group outing and stayed at this Best Western. I couldn't have asked for a better location. My room and a gorgeous view of the Capital. I had zero complaints about the room. The front desk attendants both during check in and check out were not very hospitable. Also the male bartender in the bar was very stand-offish. However both of the female servers/bartenders were wonderful. Although it wasn't a huge deal breaker, I didn't like that you had to valet or pay for parking. Although a lot of hotels do this, I personally feel it should be included in the cost of the room. However the $15 was much more tolerable than some other places I have stayed. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are in Madison. If the front desk service improved it should be a 5*.

If it were not for my membership discount I would have not stayed , way to expensive for what you get. Parking fee is $15. Rooms normally go for 2-3 hundred a night , they try to lock you end for a 2 day stay, OUCH! If money is no object this place would fit you're needs walking distance to State street, court house, market on the square.

Rooms are small, but beautifully appointed. Bathroom is very good sized and very modern. None of the USB ports in the room worked. Bed is quite firm. Mute button on the TV remote did not work. No real glass glasses, just plastic. Our view was rooftops. My major complaint is how small the room is. Within walking distance of a lot of restaurants.

If you want to stay really near the state capitol and University of Wisconsin and be able to walk everywhere, this is the hotel for you! Don't be put off by the Best Western name: this is a charming old hotel with modern amenities in the best imaginable location and has a free shuttle to the airport. Our room is beautiful with a fantastic view of the capitol dome. It's a pleasure to stay here.

This is a wonderful hotel! Stayed in a beautiful Jr suite. Furnishings and decor are 4 star. Location can't be beat. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, shopping, and lakes! Will definitely stay here again!!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and amenities of this hotel; in the past, I'd associated "Best Western" more with a discount brand, not with the beautiful adornments and comfortable accommodations I encountered here. This hotel was right on the downtown square; at the time I stayed, the surrounding area was relatively quiet. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was spacious, and the water pressure was wonderful (so many hotels are not!!). I would be remiss if I didn't mention the in-house restaurant; two of the nights of my stay, I ordered room service. The room service menu was limited, but the food I had was delicious. I would sincerely recommend this location to anyone traveling to Madison. You won't be disappointed!

On the positive, the hotel is beautiful, the room clean and comfy. We attended a wedding reception there and it was very convenient to be able to stay right there.The appetizers during cocktail hour were fantastic, the meal was good and the food service was great. The stay would have been perfect if the front desk staff were more friendly and helpful. I called earlier in the day to see if we could check in any earlier and instead we were told we wouldn't even be able to check in at the normal check in time because they where booked. No apology or any other options offered, it put us in a bind with the wedding. When we were able to check in the front desk employee acted unapproachable and curt. We booked two rooms. One had an awesome view and the other had the view of a gravel roof.

I and my man enjoyed our stay. It was convienent for the places we needed to go. The room was very clear and well organized. The only down side was the view out the window was bricks and rocks. I would stay here again.

Unlike the economical Best Westerns of my youth, this hotel was beautiful and stylish. The room was beautifully decorated and well appointed with both a fridge and a microwave (which you often don't get in a hotel room). What sold me, though, were classy touches, such as a icy, fruit infused water in the lobby and scented towels. Usually, hotel towels smell like bleach, at best. These towels smelled very faintly like roses. Beautiful touch! I kept smelling them!

I stayed here 2 years ago during the remodel...and I have to say it turned out beautifully. The decor, the entry of the check in area was so pretty. The room was a great surprise with a gorgeous bathroom and shower (loved the shower head options!), the wood sliding doors for the bath and closets, the pillows and mattress were super comfortable and the starbucks coffee service in room was the best. I didn't need a cup of 'real coffee' afterward.

I had a large, clean room with a queen bed, two night stands, a desk, a chest with fridge and microwave, and two comfortable swivel chairs with a small table and large hassock in-between, and there was still plenty of room to walk around. The bathroom was a decent size, with a beautiful marbled shower stall. Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel, and mouth wash were provided, as well as a hair dryer. The room had good lighting and lots of electrical outlets. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided a list of restaurants within walking distance, with a very brief description of each one. Breakfast is not included; I bought food and kept it in the fridge in my room. Parking costs $15 a night, and it's valet only; the car was available within a few minutes after I checked out. But the best part is: location, location, location. This hotel is right across the street from the State Capitol building. Lots of restaurants within a short walk. Numerous bus routes leave from Capitol Square, and I didn't use the car while I was in town; I walked or took a bus to my destination. I was lucky enough to have a room with a view of the Capitol dome from my swivel chair. The room rate was reasonable considering the location.

Stayed at BW for CFGames. Was there for 6 nights. Staff never welcomed us, when entering or leaving hotel. Housekeeping service was lackluster. They didn't clean our room one day. Didn't pick up garbage on floor. Didn't replace coffee. Didn't make pull out bed. Hotel is old and tired. In need of renovation and increased hospitality training.

The use of the word Premier in the name of this hotel is accurate. Hotel was so clean and staff was great! Location was fantastic and the breakfast at the POST was amazing both times we ate there! We were doing a college visit and it was great! We would come back again for sure!

Wonderful location right on the capitol square. Perfect place to stay to enjoy the Saturday farmers market. Check in was a pleasure and the king room was clean and comfortable. Great walk in shower. They have a very nice bar / café in the lobby and a restaurant. I enjoyed the free coffee in the lobby leaving at 6 15 for first look at the market. Walking distance to so many restaurants etc. Loved staying here and will most definitely return.

The hotel was in the heart of the capital city. We were able to enjoy everything we wanted within walking distance! We did not get a chance to experience the pool or fitness room, next time though. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was truly a five. Located next to the Capital building and a short walk to shopping and resteraunt, the bonus was being there on Saturday morning with the flea market in full swing! Lively fun downtown area day snd night. The hotel was top notch, clean and beds and pillows super comfy. One block away is the best Military Museum, the Vetrans Museum. A must see.

Newly Renovated and very nicely done. We had two great rooms one on the 6th and one on the 7th floors. Both had nice views of the street and the Art Fair below as well as the Capital Building. Staff was great, room was spotless, maid service was great every day. Comfortable beds, lots of pillows. Hot outside and even hotter grilling the Brats for the fair, AIR worked great! Lots of great restaurants within walking distance around the square. Great Mexican Restaurant, Canteena right across the street. Location, Location, Location !! Nothing not to like here, will be back next year again!

Definitely not disappointed we chose the Premier Park for our 10 year wedding anniversary. I worked at the bank across the street in my mid-20's and we were feeling nostalgic. Amazing view. Walked to a free show at the Monona Terrace, checked out the Dane County Farmers Market, and popped into the Capitol for a bit. Would certainly return.

We are local but selected this hotel for our anniversary due to its location. It is located on the Capital Square of downtown Madison where every summer weekend includes a huge authentic Farmers Market and often a festival. The hotel was remodeled a few years ago and includes some gorgeous decorating element, most of all, a set of elegant gates previously in the Capitol. Temporarily, summer of 2018, there is a "parade" of 85 Bucky Badger statutes 7' tall. "Class Act" Bucky is in front of this hotel; a great selection for a classy hotel

Was traveling for business. Room was nice and quiet with a comfortable bed. Not sure how all the rooms are set up, but this was a little odd for business travel as the room was a U shape w/ the bed, tv and closet on one side, with the couch, work space and bathroom on the other side. I hope other rooms have better views as mine looked out on 3 brick walls and a tiny slice of sky...so no use opening the blinds! I wasn't in the room much, but is was cozy for sleeping. The only hotel amenity I visited was the bar area, which was nice for meeting up with co-workers.

The Best Western Premier Park Hotel was a great choice for us. The location can't be beat ---- you can walk everywhere in town and there are tons of restaurants, coffee shops, bars right there. Plus the farmer's market is right across the street on Saturdays, which I love. The hotel itself was nice --- the bed was very comfortable, the shower was nice and big and the other amenities were very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel.

College towns are known for some real dumps for hotels. This is not the case with this hotel. The staff were friendly from the outset. Parking at the hotel was easy. The rooms are very clean and nice with decent views. The location of the hotel is excellent across from the Capitol building. You are right at the center of town. Madison is a beautiful City especially in late May and June. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a restaurant on the premises. There is a serviceable workout room and an indoor pool. My one small complaint was that I wish they added a set of dumbbells for the workout room. They have a bench (not bench press) but no dumbbells. However, I still highly recommend this hotel for a short business or personal stay.

Beautiful place to stay in Madison. Close to everything downtown, plus valet parking. Elegant decor throughout the hotel, nice and quiet rooms. They offer recycling in rooms and have eco friendly features. Staff was very nice and helpful!

This hotel is in a perfect location right on the capitol square, and close to many restaurants. It is within walking distance to State Street shops, the Memorial Union Terrace on Lake Mendota, and the Monona Terrace on Lake Monona. The rooms are newly renovated and the beds are extremely comfortable.

The hotel is located opposite to Capitol building. The best restaurants of Madison are located in close vicinity and it offers you wide range of delicious food. Even the restaurant of hotel is quite good. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Overall a good place to stay.

This is a stunning hotel. The place with newly renovated and had stunning views of the capital building. The room was extremely clean and beautiful. Unfortunately, their beds were hard and lumpy. The staff seemed rude when I brought that to their attention. Assistant manager was able to get housekeeping to add blankets and mattress pads, which helped a lot. Just be aware of that.

We lived in Madison for many years and come back about twice a year now. Always stay at another hotel, but decided to give this Best Western a try. We were NOT disappointed. We had our two teens with us. Check in was smooth, the room was clean, beds were fantastic, location is the best, right on the square!! Valet parking a plus, so you don't have to deal with trying to find parking yourself. Front desk staff were excellent, ALL of them! We will be changing where we stay from now on :)

Great hotel, awesome location and nicely updated. I really like the ease in using the shuttle service, checking in and checking out. I did call and request a room with capital view, but was given a view of the mechanical area of the roof. I didn't call back down to request a room change, overall the room was great and well decorated. I think our company will continue to use this site for future visits for Epic.

Excellent service for accommodating a large group of guests for a wedding on April 14th, which had the worst winter storm in decades. The valet parking really did an excellent job at getting everyone to the reception and back to the Best Western at the end of the night.

I highly recommend. Checked in when the weather was terrible. Concierge parking just a few feet from the check in counter was friendly, easy, and affordable ($15 a day). King room was slightly on the small side but bath and shower were large and immaculate. Bed was great and room was quite. we ate at a steak place right across street so did not have to drive until we left. And p.s. they also have a nice little restaurant next to lobby with a great breakfast selection.

Had a weekend stay-cation at the Park Hotel. A complete renovation has just been completed and everything is nice and new. Best part, there was always an elevator ready with the door open in the lobby. My room had a king bed and sleeper sofa on the top floor, I would call it a junior suite. Nice neutral decor and very clean. No soaking tub in the bathroom, but an enormous shower stall, a full four by four feet. Water was soft, pressure was great, and it had a great four-way shower head. Staff was always friendly. Due to the excellent location, this is probably the best hotel in Madison at the moment.

Checked in and went to take a showe and the handle would not work. Water wouldn't stop. Called front desk and they were able to switch rooms AND gave me a complimentary breakfast for my troubles! That's how you do it!! Thank you BWP!!

I travel to Madison for work several times a year, and often stay at this hotel. I highly recommend it whether you are traveling for business or pleasure in the downtown Madison area. The hotel has been rehabbed and the rooms are really nicely appointed. The beds are comfortable too. The rooms have a mini fridge and many have views of the Capitol. My last room actually had a pool atrium view. I was surprised at how nice the pool area is! It is beautiful, big, bright and clean. I didn't go for a swim, as I was not traveling with the kids. Had I been with the kids, the room would have been really perfect! The staff at the front desk is very welcoming and their parking rate includes valet which is a huge perk to me. The only thing that would make this hotel better would be an included breakfast option which makes traveling for business even easier. I am sure I will be back to this hotel time and time again, having already stayed here about 4-5 times.

This is our second time at the BW Premier Park Hotel in Madison, WI. The second time was just as great as the first time. It is a very efficient Hotel. Always clean, the staff from the front desk to housekeeping, to valet parking are all professional and accommodating. The rooms are very efficient. The difference in price from registering online what significant, but we knew what we were getting in a room and worth the chance. So we Thank You BW Premier Park Hotel for another wonderful stay.

Beautifully remodeled hotel with wonderful front desk service and valet service. They held our bags for us and let us keep our car in their garage after checkout as we toured the State Capitol. The price was a bit higher than normal because we were there during a peak time, March Madness basketball games, and St. Patrick's Day on top of that, but it was worth it for the convenience of being near the two places that we needed to be at for our trip. The room was clean, bathroom impeccable, no problems with the shower or anything at all. No loud noises from outside traffic or neighboring rooms. Near to coffee shops, restaurants, even for vegans and vegetarians. Zero complaints. Wait! I can always use a a hot tub, wish there was one here. :)

Clean and quiet room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location across from the Capitol and near all the great restaurants. Complimentary airport service was a nice service. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

We love staying here. The location, facility the front desk are all wonderful. We have stayed here several times since 2013. They just finished remodeling in 2017. The price is always the best too. Yes, you can get a room with absolutely no view, but the location beats that feature and you can always pay more and get an awesome view of the square.

My family comes to Madison each September for Ironman Wisconsin (of which my husband is a participant) and we have stayed here every time. This hotel is perfect in terms of location, amenities, and comfort. The recent renovations are very nice, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. We have always stayed here because another Ironman participant reserves a block of rooms, but we've enjoyed our stays so much that when we decided to spend a Christmas weekend in Madison we stayed here. We were a little bummed that the pool was out of service, but otherwise it was as pleasant as each of our other visits. See you in September, BWPPH!

Nice hotel in a great location! Tons of great restaurants in short walking distance. State street is also only a short walk to shops and bars. Room was small but nice and clean. Recommend to anyone looking for a nice hotel in a great area.

Here for a business trip at the Alliant Energy Center. Chose to stay on the square for proximity to restaurants and just general activity, Very happy with the location, appearance, price, ease of check-in, and nearby coffee shops/restaurants.

This is a lovely, clean Best Western that has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The restaurant bar has great food and drinks. Its proximity to the capital is convenient. The staff are remarkable and attentive.

The staff here were great, very friendly and willing to help. The valet staff were also very helpful. The room was clean and very neat. Very comfortable and cozy. The view of the capital building was awesome.

The recent remodeling of this hotel has made it an outstanding place to stay, great rooms, convenient to Capitol and Dane County courts. The rates are a good value. The breakfast menu is limited, that would be my only complaint and that's minor.

We stayed for 1 quick night on our holiday drive home from MN to OH. The hotel appears to be recently renovated and that was a treat! Almost felt like staying in a brand new hotel. Location can't be beat with right on the Capital Square near bars and restaurants. We let the kids burn off energy in the pool and it was clean, spacious and fun! One of the pool side rooms could be fun if you were staying longer or with a group of families. Overall a great experience and would recommend.

No maid service, no help with luggage either in or out of the car or into or out of the hotel! When ask to come to the room with a cart was told to go to the lobby and get it ourselves! For what we paid a night none of this should of happened. Also never got a email of the bill like they said.

Don't drink at the bar. Two drinks totaled a cost of $17.00 dollars. Better places within walking distance for food and drink. Bar was empty now we know why. Three TV's only two working and the staff did not seemed to card. Staff gave us our drinks then disappeared to a corner chair to troll his phone.

Amazing location and beautiful hotel. We payed extra for the city view which I assumed was the Capitol view but it is the view of the lakes and other buildings. The remodeled pool is gorgeous! Great for business or social gatherings!

Great location on the square and close to restaurants & bars. Parking and easy access to just about everything in Madison. Staff were ok. Did not go out of their way for you, but the staff in the restaurant were very nice & helpful.

This is a very nice hotel across the street from the state capitol building. My adult children and I stayed here for a few days in December as one of them graduated from UW. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well stocked. The staff was professional and friendly.

Very nice recent remodel. Restaurant has an amazing tiled floor and very diverse breakfast menu items. The view of the Wisconsin State Capital was wonderful. Their fitness center is currently under renovations, but they do offer a basic fitness alternative. The rooms were very quiet and excellent room darkening shades. Make sure you set your alarm because the sun will not shine through the closed blinds to wake you up.

A beautiful place to stay with all the comforts of home and very convenient to the downtown Madison amenities. The views from the rooms facing the Capitol building are stunning. Staff are friendly. Shuttle drivers friendly and timely.

Nice place, very clean and very comfy bed would highly recommend the food is just ok but not bad very friendly and helpful staff convenient location and I will stay there again if traveling to that area.

This hotel has recently been renovated and the rooms look very appealing. Nice toiletries, wide variety of types. The shower looks wonderful, but is terrible for short people and makes it very hard to get shampoo out of your hair. The "rain"-type shower head is impossible to adjust so it does not come down on top of my head. Worse, I could not get hard enough pressure to make removing shampoo and conditioner easy to remove. There is only valet parking. It used to involve indoor parking. My car seemed to have been kept outside somewhere, which is not worth the $10 a night. It came from someplace other than the parking structure at the hotel.

We really like this hotel (this was our second stay in the past two years). Everything about it is top notch and we will definitely stay here again. We particularly liked our room, which overlooked the capitol and the park. It's a great place to stay in Madison.

Clean room, large working living room, spacious bedroom, quiet and close to many great restaurants. Staff were great and helpful. The only downfall was the fitness center and the pool were closed, but I would definitely come back again.

If you want to be close to the capital and restaurants within walking distance, with convenient parking, this one's for you. It's recently remodeled so now I pay for the valet parking and another 20%, but I think it's worth it

Was there over the weekend for a Badger game. It's a short walk to camp Randall from the hotel and very close to a night out on state street. Several great restaurants are just a short walk away. Our room was very spacious and very clean. This place definitely had to of had a recent remodel. You can't beat the valet parking for only $10 a night. Will definitely stay here again.

The location and view were nice. We were there for a football game. One person refused to check us in because we were from the opposing team. The bartenders would not wait on us. we had to go up and get our drinks. When Wisconsin fans sat down they were served at their tables. There is no hot tube. The rooms were expensive for what you get.

Bare Bones Amenities. Don't expect anything extra, which is disappointing for the price. Our room never got replenished with soap/shampoo or coffee/tea/ The lobby didn't offer any complimentary hot beverages or extras. Room was dirty had dark black stains on curtains and carpet.

I was placed on a floor of this hotel on which there was a late night wedding party and the noise made it impossible to sleep. Why was I put on this floor with all these revelers? Front desk at check out offered no compensation. Too bad for me for paying good money for this room. And the attitude apparently was: Sorry but nothing we can do.

The Best Western Premier Park in Madison is an elegant business class hotel where you are made to feel like a king (or queen). The staff is extremely friendly and professional. The rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. The view of the Capital is breathtaking. I like going to Madison, I LOVE staying at the Park Hotel!

Very convenient to stay. Near museums and the Capital building.Good food nearby. There is a steakhouse opposite to the hotel with good and cheap food. Rooms are big and convenient and clean. Front desk friendly.

Great hotel. Shocking it was a Best Western! Right near the Capital. Close to so much activity. We would stay there again if coming into Madison. Very friendly staff. Great food . We came for a wedding and they also put on a fabulous wedding reception. The food was outstanding.

Such a beautiful hotel. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Our room was right across the Capitol. A hot tub would have been nice but otherwise very nice. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Valet parking was great. We will definitely do this again.

I highly recommend this hotel when traveling to Madison. Upgrade to a room with a view of the capital, you won't be disappointed. The room was clean, the hotel was clean, and the employees were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in waling distance to much of the decent nightlife in the city.

Stayed here over night just for one night. The place was very clean and fresh looking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only parking option was valet which was nice. Car was kept in a locked gated area. This hotel is right down on the capital square so close to state street and many restaurants, bars and shops. Drinks at the hotel bar were pricey but made well. The room was clean and comfortable. Great shower and everything you need right there. Very impressed with it all.

Best location in Madison directly across from capital bldg. All staff, from check-in to housekeeping, went out of their way to make your stay perfect. Management is doing a great job. Hotel is beautiful and looks recently renovated, actually brand new. Bed and pillows very comfortable and bathroom offers upper end shampoos, etc. Ckean, Spotless hotel next to a large number of restaurants, bars and State Street, which leads to university of WI. If you are staying in downtown Madison, this hotel is in a great location. Close proximity to the Capitol, Farmers Markets and State Street. Luxurious rooms and friendly staff at check in. Hotels have the best toilets and shower fixtures, don't they?

Literally walk out the front door and you are across the street from the capitol building! Very nice high end hotel. Great attention to detail in the rooms. High quality decor. We only stayed one night, but would come back again. Super convenient location. When you check in you do so just inside the entrance to the parking garage - so protection from the elements! Parking is valet but only $10 day (plus tips, of corse!).

My daughter arrived in the evening when is was dark and raining. The only parking option was the valet. I trusted this hotel with my brand new 2017 Cadillac. When I left the hotel I noticed a crack in my windshield and immediately called the hotel. No one called me back. I called again the next day to talk to a manager named Paul. Super nice and had me get an estimate to submit to insurance. Just had response that they are not covering it because their GPS did not track my damage. What a joke. Never trust their valets or their manages' word. I will never stay at or recommend this hotel again.

A group of friends stayed at BWP for Freakfest. The king suite was spacious, clean, and had beautiful window views. Our foldout sofa did not have blankets or pillows, but they were provided when requested. Front desk staff were very courteous, and when our room received a noise warning, we were treated fairly and with respect.

Made a reservation with this hotel since the one we usually stay at was booked. This review is particular to a corner room we had. When we checked in the receptionist was really talking up this room like we were going to be in the penthouse. When you got off the elevator and walked to the room it literally was a door in the center of 3 rooms in a row. Think of a slice of pie and when you opened the door that was the point of the pie slice. The main room was shaped as a semi-circle and had windows across 90 degrees (unfortunately the view was just of other buildings in our case) and was a really nice size. Had a sofa, desk and a comfortable chair near the window. The problem with the room was the size of the bathroom. While the walk in shower was great, the rest of the bathroom was really small. there was really no counter space to place your toiletry bag on (think plain sink) and when you were trying to dry your hair your elbow was constantly hitting the wall to the point my wife was drying her hair in the hallway. The hallway closet could only fit about 4 items (i guess that is why the room safe was in the living room) Again this is all because of the pie shape as you walk into the room. The location was great right on Capital Square close to everything and they have a flat $10 a day parking (in and out as much as you want) They do have a indoor pool and a gym. The room we had was quite and did not hear any normal traffic.They do not offer any free breakfast or coffee (aside from the maker in the room). While I will book here again if needed my advice is to avoid that 'great' corner room.

In the pst over the years we have spent our time at a differant hotel we ended up here because our go to hotel was booked we have now found a new go to hotel in best western on the square. parking is simple and convenient

Check in and check out were fast and easy, and so was the shuttle to and from the airport. I used the fitness center which was tiny but was up early enough and there was only one other person in there. The room and bathroom were clean, which is really important to me. Overall it was a nice stay.

I stayed at the Best Western Premier Park Hotel with a friend after we attended a show at the Overture Center (within comfortable walking distance). It was wonderful to walk out onto the square on a Saturday morning right into the farmers' market. The hotel was comfortable, quiet, and had all the amenities we needed. I appreciated that the valet parking was only $10 for those staying at the hotel.

Very comfortable and quiet place to stay and ideal place to relax after a grueling day at work. Parking place could pose as a challenge because the hotel is valet parking only and you will need some time for your car to be driven out of their parking garage. Valet service attendants are quick and efficient and therefore it compensates for the parking challenge. Housekeeping and restaurant personnel are helpful. Some of the front desk personnel are personable and show a caring and accommodating attitude except for a few who are somewhat rude and unprofessional.

Super comfortable bed and linens, nice dark room. Bathroom is beautiful with wall to wall marble and really attractive leather wall covering. Had the finishing's of a five star hotel. Wish I could have stayed longer. Overnight valet parking $10!

The Inn on the Park is a very nice place to stay in downtown Madison. I recently spent 4 nights while I was at a conference and the staff is very personable and the room are nice. Nice location near the capital and great restaurants.

Very nice place to stay. Great location, awesome staff, great valet service. Clean rooms, modern décor, nice bathrooms, all around just great. All of the staff at the front desk, bar, and valet that I interacted with were courteous and helpful. The location right next to the capitol is great, good restaurant in the hotel, and a nice selection of restaurants around the area. Parking was $10/night, but includes valet service, which is very fast and the staff are very courteous. Room was immaculately cleaned each day, and very comfortable bed, décor, etc. This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel, and it was very enjoyable.

Right on the capital square. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. We were there Friday to Sunday and were large number of people (mainly college students) shopping, dining, partying, etc. The Saturday morning famer's market is superb. Visit the fourth floor of the capitol and view Madison from their outdoor sightseeing level. While the location is the main focus of this review, the rooms are comfortable; everything worked well. $10 for overnight valet parking in the hotel.

An updated, well appointed hotel right across from the capitol. Parking is very affordable, given it's in the heart of the city. Walking distance to just about anywhere you need to go. We really enjoyed it!

Excellent hotel! VERY comfortable room with really nice amenities. Staff is Excellent! Even helped recommend a late night pizza place after a long night at a wedding. Great onsite parking and the room was great! Only thing the room could use would be a mini-bar. I know that is a tiny complaint.

As a Wisconsin Ironman participant, we wanted to stay near the capital, and couldn't have been happier with our room. Entire hotel was recently remodeled. Rooms were nicely decorated, functional, and had great view of capital. Was especially impressed with the promptness of valet service. Breakfast buffet was perfect. Friendly staff. Overall very satisfied with our stay.

Hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Capitol in downtown Madison. Rooms are clean and bright. Views of the Capitol are spectacular. Restaurant is good. Very convenient to other restaurants too. Wonderful room for wedding receptions, etc. on the 8th floor! Nice facilities.

Stayed for 6 days over the Ironman Wisconsin weekend, with 3 of us sharing a double-queen room. The valet parking was convenient and saved having to find parking. Checkin went very smoothly with friendly staff who were quick to offer up recreation and restaurant suggestions within the area. We found all staff in the hotel pleasant and friendly, and quick to offer to help out. The rates are a bit pricey, but you do pay for location. The room was good and clean, and the hotel was quiet, even over the weekend. Location was perfect for the Ironman event, as we could easily walk the bikes down for day-before turn in, and walk to the hotel right after the finish line. The hotel also had a good complimentary breakfast at 4:00am for the day of the Ironman event that offered a good variety of choices. There was also coin-op laundry facilities on the 3rd floor as well, which was handy over a six-day stay. Overall we had no complaints and had a great trip and enjoyable stay in Madison. Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to the Ironman Wisconsin event in future.

excellent location, very quiet rooms, good amenities, excellent complimentary breakfast at 4:30am on ironman day. The check-in was very easy and the valet parking service was better than expected, made the check-in process quite easy despite all of my gear.

Was there for the Ironman Wisconsin. Room are too small for 2 people. Our Room Maid was careless on taking care of us. No coffee replaced and no extra roll of toilet paper. Chet that checked us in was amazing! He mad our day if we got to see him. If he wasn't there we had the grumpy man!

Stayed at the hotel on Sept 1, with another couple and honestly would have no complaints if we had stayed in the type of room that we reserved (a double queen). When we walked into our room there was one big glaring problem, one bed (and pull out sofa bed) for 2 couples. Called front desk and was advised that we were "upgraded" to a suite and that they would have to call back to see if they could fit us in elsewhere as it was a full weekend. We had a schedule to keep and needed to get going and did not have the time to wait on the chance that we would get the type of room we originally reserved. Advised the front desk that we would make it work. Not only were we disappointed that we were "upgraded" to a room that didn't have the adequate number of beds, but also in the offer (or lack there of) in compensation for Best Westerns mistake. The front desk offered to have someone come up and make the pull out sofa bed as our only form of compensation. I chuckled at that and kindly told her we'd take care of it. When I received the survey the day after our stay I completed the survey and expressed my dissatisfaction with the upgrade and also the lack of compensation for Best Westerns mistake. I have received no feedback from the comments on that survey either. Just extremely disappointed that Best Western hasn't offered anything (besides making our sofa bed) as compensation. When paying $260 for a hotel stay, my expectations are higher than this. Could've done better to fix the situation Best Western. If this is how you normally handle situations with your guests, I will gladly choose another of the many good quality hotel choices in Madison for my next stay.

Our one night stay was a really pleasant surprise. Our view of the Capital from our room was amazing. We happened to be there during the Taste of Madison which was happening right in front of the hotel which made its location super convenient. Good value for its location and pleasant rooms.

This hotel is a gem.. Great for Epic customers wishing to enjoy the many restaurants and convenient bus to go to various malls nearby. This hotel is right next to the Capitol building and during the warmer months, there is the Saturday farmer's market to buy fresh cheese, rolls and vegetables. Near the university, library, etc..

I always stay at the Park when in Madison. They have a super staff and a great hotel. Right on the square and surrounded by great restaurants. They have great rooms at affordable prices all year round. Excellent value!

My son and daughter-in-law celebrated their wedding at this Madison landmark. The views from the 8th floor are unsurpassed and the evening was remarkable. It was the perfect location for their reception as they had many guests from out of town and once at the hotel they could easily walk to several areas of interest; farmer's market, restaurants, coffee, State Street and the University of Madison campus beyond not to mention the wedding site~Monona Terrace. Despite being a local for the past 30 years, this was my first time on the 8th floor~I hope it won't be the last! My thanks go out to all who helped plan, serve and prepare the space for such a memorable occasion. As to the rooms, I have only a couple of suggestions; It would be nice if there was a magnifying mirror in the bathroom and the hair dryers should be upgraded. The toiletries were great and the bed was very comfortable. The fan tended to make a high pitched squealing noise when on, but, we solved that by turning it off. Perhaps a harder fix given the age of the building. It would be nice to have bottled water in the room as well. Had we not been preoccupied with wedding thoughts we could and should have brought water for the mini fridge that was provided. All in all, these minor things did not take away from our time spent at the Park Hotel and I would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding or special weekend in Madison.

Air conditioner sounded like a jet and blew air in my face every 20 min. And shuttle service was a bust. Rooms are nice. But comfort is less than expected. I did not report my issues because I was out of the room a lot. But didnt sleep well at all when there.

Location, location, location! Phenomenal views and comfy accommodations. One is able to park your car at a very fair rate and enjoy multiple eateries and entertainment venues around the capitol. An Amazing farmer's market to indulge in fine cheeses, bee products, fresh produce right across the street.

I've always liked staying at this hotel- great location close to good restaurants and the Menona Terrace. Everything you need is within easy walking distance, especially the Saturday morning Farmer's Market on the Capitol square. The recent renovation makes this hotel spectacular- very nice and great value.

This is little discrete Premere Best Western is in the mix of everything but off to the side. Across the street from the Capitol, walking distance to all resturants and all other venues. Saturday morning farmers market us just steps away. Staff is friendly and cortious. Valet is less than parking garage. Rooms and hotel are clean and comfortable. Just a need little hotel discretly tucked away.

Great Staff! Beautiful view of state capital. Very quiet and close to a lot of great shops. I would recommend this for business or pleasure. The parking is good and valet service is very fast. I will go back.

7 nights on 9th floor... worth the splurge and having valet parking downtown is very handy. Fantastic location for the Farmer's Market or for day trips. Beds exceptionally comfortable and the new showers (replacing tubs/showers) are spacious and modern.

Close proximity to local attractions and the university. Rooms are nice and well decorated. Comfortable and clean. Valet parking makes it easy to load and unload. The staff is very helpful. In room internet works well.

Madison's former Inn on the park has been completely redone and is now once again a viable destination for Travellers visiting this lovely City. The makeover has included all aspects of the property from the entry to the rooms. Prices are very reasonable and significantly lower than the other hotels on on or near the square.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so we were given complimentary beverage and appetizer while waiting. Beverage and appetizer (we chose the cheese curds) were excellent. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

A hotel with friendly staff in a great city centre location. Lots of good local restaurants and bars. A friendly city with lots to do without travelling too far (even walking distance). Pool is too small (and a little cool) for proper swimming.

Nice hotel. Price was excessive. Loved the location. Next to the Capital. Exercise room was very limited. No hot tub. Seems like all hotels should have a hot tub. For the price, breakfast should be free.

This hotel, for the price, is really excellent - and my goodness what a view! The staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms look like everything is brand new, and I couldn't fault a thing. From checking to checkout, everything was perfect - and did I mention the view?

We stayed here 3 nights with some friends while visiting Madison this month. It is in a great location by the capital. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant and bar on site, we didn't eat but the bar had very good drinks.The parking garage is valet only and they did a great job getting the car in and out when we needed it. I will stay here again next time we are in town and would recommend it to others.

The Internet was a little slow, as was the checkin process, but overall the stay was great. The remodel has really classed up the whole hotel. The room was large and well decorated. I would recommend! this hotel!

Booked a suite that turned out to smell like a camel's pen during our stay. 1 rude woman at check-in who would rather talk about her sister's pregnancy with her colleagues, than tell us where to find the nearest malls. We got two fingers pointing east and west telling us to go 4 miles...

After a 20 hour air travel delay, I walked into BW Park-Madison as a tired mess! My King Suite was incredible: a corner room with curved windows and a 180 degree view, comfy bed, sofa, good tv and channels, beautiful bathroom and a full view of the State Capitol out my 7th floor window. It was just what I needed. Do not hesitate to stay here, the location is great, the valet personnel bring your car quickly as often as you go in/out, and everyone I came in contact with were friendly and helpful. I'd gotten this room last minute through Priceline and will look for it first when I come back to Madison,

Very nice hotel near the capital and conference center. Very comfortable bed and had a green policy for linens that I like. Quiet. Most of the staff were very helpful but a couple were not so much so. No paper or complimentary breakfast and meals in the hotel restaurant were very expensive.

We stayed here for a wedding. The room was fantastic. Beautifully appointed, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom shower was gorgeous with a sleek sliding glass door and beautiful tile work. Very attentive staff. The reception was held in their banquet hall. Cocktails and a brunch were held on the top floor, with a great view of the capital building and surrounding area. A wonderful experience.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Best Western Premier Park Hotel, both times for conferences taking place at the Monona Terrace. The hotel rooms are beautifully done, the staff is helpful, and it's been a quick and easy walk (less than 5 minutes) to Monona Terrace, the capitol, Starbucks, and several other dining options. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

Got a chance to come back to Madison, WI after 20 some years. Feel like I came home when I stay in this Best Western Hotel. I have to say I received the best service after I landed at the airport. The hotel complimentary shuttle was busy and they don't want me to wait so they paid for the taxi to get me to the hotel. They could easily say I am on my own. The location of hotel is very good. It is within walking distance to a lot of places that we need such as restaurants, the bars, the lake, parks and recreation areas. The most important of all is close to the place where I conducted a business. The hotel itself is very nice, the room is clean and very friendly people at reception desk. They have nice food and of course the bar. I like the way the bartender keep the Wisconsin traditional going is by making the best of Old Fashion Sweet Brandy. I have been around the country and no state yet to mix it good like Wisconsin people. The bar serve all kinds of beers but the only thing they don't have was Point beer (beer brew from Stevens Point, WI). Over all this hotel is good place to stay and it is worth of what I paid for. If I am back in Madison I will stay in this hotel again.

This hotel is centrally located right across the street from the capital. Farmer's market on Saturday was a treat. Close to restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel was very clean, staff were great and the room was wonderful. Hope to stay here again!

Our bed was beyond uncomfortable. It was extremely hard and only had one light blanket. The couch was more comfortable than the bed! Needless to say we got very little sleep during our stay. If you like an extremely firm mattress then you may like this hotel. We, however, did not.

We wanted a decent hotel near Capitol Square to attend the huge farmer's market in Madison. This hotel was above decent and a perfect location directly across from the Square. Never stayed at a Best Western before, but very good value and would stay at this one again and would consider other Park properties of the brand,

I totally recommend thus hotel to anyone staying in Madison. Perfect view of the Capitol with restaurants within walking distance. You can only valet your car but its only $10 for overnight. The staff is friendly and the decor is top notch. The only downside is no Jacuzzi/sauna by the pool.

The Park Hotel is fantastic! Staff are friendly and helpful and the location is right on the main square. Easy walking distance to downtown and convenient shuttle for trips to campus. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in Madison.

Hotel is in down town Madison, right across from the state capital (went to the farmer's market and took a free tour of the capital). Lots of wonderful restaurants, bars, and some museums close by. They have a restaurant at the hotel if you don't want to walk. Enjoyed the swimming pool and they had a few treadmills, elipticals in the workout room. You have to valet park, price is only $10 per night, but it was a little bit of a pain waiting for your car if it was a busy time. Sat night had some drunk young folks in the sitting areas by elevator, thought it may get noisy but it didn't. Great place to stay! Perfect location if you want to visit Madison.

Just across from the Capital Square, the Park was conveniently located for site seeing and enjoying the downtown vibe. The staff gave me great recommendations on food, and the shuttle service to the airport was very convenient. This is a great location for walking around Madison and seeing the lake. The Capital Building gave tours - very interesting. There was a jazz festival Friday evening, farmer's market and street fair Saturday morning, nearby museums and the lake, and many great restaurants. I look forward to visiting again.

The hotel recently completed a major rehab. The rooms and public areas all look much nicer and refreshed. A few small items could have been done better. For example, previously the sink was outside the bathroom which I liked. Now the sink is in the bathroom. Also, the bathroom door is a sliding door which is fine except that it leaves a crack where it meets the door frame that you can see through. Also, the refrigerator used to have a small freezer which came in handy but ours did not. The new windows significantly reduce the noise level from outside which is greatly appreciated - this is a college town after all and can get quite loud.

This hotel is in a great location, right in the center of town next to the capital. The room was very clean and updated. The only downfall was that some of the staff members were cold. There are great restaurants and shops within walking distance.

A beautiful hotel with a caring staff, lovely rooms and great lounge/ bar area. The view from the 8th floor (booked for a bridal brunch) is fantastic and offered delicious food. We will be back again.

Stayed at this hotel for a conference. Highly recommended! Not the cheapest one available, but it was a very good choice. No complimentary breakfast. Wifi worked very well. Next to the Capitol. Service at breakfast was kind of slow.

We were on the 6th floor. It was a convenient location but the view of the lake was only partial. We mostly could see a building under construction. My husband and I did not like having to have the car valeted. t made us second guess getting it out again because we didn't want to have to keep tipping the staff. We ended up walking every where. The room was super clean and quiet, but I wouldn't pay the extra money for the view.
