    From start to finish everything was fantastic the manager Chianti was very pleasant, helpful and professional and really catered to my needs. The rooms were great and the hot breakfast was delicious. My family felt very welcome and we will return soon.

    « Certainly could have been better »

    I stayed here on business and to be honest I was disappointed in this being a Best Western PLUS. The breakfast was better than average for a hotel. The room was ok but to be honest it wasn't anything great about it. The housekeeping staff was among the worst I have ever come across. I was working overnights and requested an early cleaning. I was told I would be next and then three hours later my room still wasn't cleaned. The rest of my stay I was sleeping all day so I got no service. The housekeeping staff was so incredibly loud yelling conversations to each other down the hallway and making all kinds of noise. So incredibly rude. To be honest I don't think I'd stay there again if I'm ever in the area.

    While an older facility, they stay current with upgrades and staff is wonderful. While I don't have their breakfast, I do look it over and they have hot dishes, as well as "continental" offerings. Tempting, but I restrict my diet for personal reasons. The price is very competitive, and owner/staff are extremely accommodating. Location is perfect for the Matthews/Charlotte area (quite near to my business trips). Don't take my word, try it yourself when in the area!

    The free breakfast was great. Location is good. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. The room was clean, the beds comfortable. The only concern is that the smell in the room was too strong. Staff in the front desk was nice.

    « Great Staff, Lousy Room »

    My experience with the employees was very favorable, they definitely tried to go out of their way to make sure I felt at home, were pleasant, and generally easy to deal with. The room itself, not so much. It looked and smelled like housekeeping hadn't been in the room prior to my arrival. The room stunk of smoke, and urine. Normally I would have checked out immediately, but the hotel was close to where I was attending a conference, so I toughed it out. It seems though that as a business practice, they charge non smokers a $350 fee for smoking in rooms, that were not smoked in. Don't bother calling management about it either, they wont help you. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

    « A nice place with a couple of glitches »

    This was the last night of driving vacation from Florida to North Carolina, We stayed at 4 Best Westerns along the way. From the outside this was the nicest looking place we had stayed, but there were a couple of small things that colored our experience.Apparently there had been a recent computer upgrade with the reservation system so it was taking extra time to get people checked in. When we arrived around 6:00 there was only one person working at the front desk, but there seemed to be someone in the back office. As we were waiting for our turn, several people arrived but the other person did not come out to assist. I did see her about 20 minutes later when I came back to the lobby. The internet was very slow in the evening, I was connected but it did not work well. I had trouble sleeping and in the middle of the night it seemed to work fine. Also this a minor thing but when we arrived the message light was flashing on the phone, we tried to listen to the message but using the instructions on the face plate on the phone it did not work. I asked the front desk and they told us the correct number but it was different than the in room instructions showed. Lastly I was using the business center to check into our flight, and print the boarding passes. Turns out only one of the computers is connected to the printer. There was a sign on the paper tray saying this but I had not payed attention to the note till I tried to print and it was not working. Our room was fine, it was clean, the beds comfortable but the these little things did make reduce our overall satisfaction

    « Great Place For A Stay »

    I recently stayed overnight after booking on Priceline, and was very pleased with the accommodations provided for my stay. All of the staff that I encountered were very polite and friendly from check-in to checkout. The room itself was very clean and the bed was clean and very comfortable. The air conditioning unit didn't seem to be putting out as much air as it should have, but on a cool fall night it wasn't that big of a concern. The TV appeared to be new with a good selection of local cable stations. The wifi was sufficient for my use but was not as fast as other places that I have stayed at before. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend anyone lodging there when in the area.

    « Not so courtesy shuttle... »

    Haven't made it to the actual hotel yet because I've been waiting for the "courtesy shuttle" for just under an hour. Called the hotel on arrival at the airport and the receptionist stated the driver was dropping passengers off at the hotel and would be circling back to the airport... Map says it's an 11 minute drive... You know that feeling when all the people you were waiting with have been picked up by their shuttle and then the second and third wave also get picked up but you stand there alone... still waiting... and other hotel shuttles have passed through 3-4 times? Yeah, kinda like that. Looks like a taxi is the better option if the shuttle isn't right at the curb when you get here. Called again at the 50 minute mark and the receptionist stated the driver was "in traffic".... that didn't seem to be impeding the other hotel shuttles. Maybe the hotel could invest in two shuttles???

    Totally met our needs. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Quiet environment, even though it's on a busy thoroughfare. Breakfast was complimentary and nicely done. Our only complaint related to the constant presence of children of the cleaning crew. Some of the children were very young.

    The access to this Hotel is excellent, there are a number of very good resturants close by. I was a bit concerned that several cars were broken in Friday Night (not mine) The Staff was very friendly and professional, although the you lady in the Breakfast area seemed to be having a bad personal day. Room was perfect, location was as as requested.

    Room was clean, staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great and included hot eggs, bacon and waffles and food area was constantly being cleaned and restocked. I used the fitness area and it was very nice. I would stay here again!

    Nice place and located near restaurants. Breakfast is decent and room was clean. I met a couple who were evacuated due to Hurricane Matthew. They accidentally charged me for my room when I booked through a third party. Be aware but they reimbursed me.

    « Not worthy to be called a Best Western »

    Not advised they were under some much needed renovations. Not sure the renovations will help unless the hotel goes under new ownership. A dump of a place, dark, dreary. Holes in towels, outlets for phones didn't work, no soundproofing whatsoever. Service staff lacked service, literally, the hotel attendant would leave a note that she would be back shortly so the desk was unmanned at times. There were 3 vehicles broken into while we were there. Did not feel safe staying there with the clientele they attract. The hotel manager was nice and listened to my issues and did offer a small discount. Again, not her fault. This hotel needs new ownership or better yet, take off the Best Western to the name. Even with the small discount, I was way overcharged at over $100 plus per night when it's more like a $50 property! Not worthy to be called a Best Western Plus and definitely not a AAA 3 diamond property.

    the hotel looked like it had been updated some but the exterior needed some repair and the bathroom in our room looked like it was from the 70s. overall though good location and was a good fit for what we had planned for the weekend which was downtown.

    This hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are large with all the amenities necessary. The staff is great and the breakfast is plentiful. There is a variety of items and fruit. The area had a massive amount of food places and businesses. My only complaint is that no matter what time we came in at night there was never anyone at the front desk and with the elevators right as you walk- in security was a concern.

    This property is very nice with cold air conditioned rooms with generous space and nice big tv and fast internet and hotel is located within walking distance of a good variety of businesses including restaurants. There was a hot breakfast with a good variety. In addition, the hotel staff was excellent from the making of the reservation to the check-in process on through to the check-out process-overall a very enjoyable experience!!!

    « Great Except for Musty/Moldy Room Smell »

    Everything was fine, except our room smelled musty/moldy. My husband actually went to WalMart and bought air freshener as the smell was hampering my sleep. We thought it would abate and did not make a fuss - got in late and only there for 2 nights- but the next day was just as bad. When we went to Cary (stayed at another Best Western) I actually told the front desk that I needed to smell the room before we checked in!

    « One of the worst stays at BW »

    - first room we entered had a horrible smoke smell - we were changed to a different room 213 which wasn't tagged from the outside. The room wasn't vacuumed but it was fine for the night. The next day we returned to the room after it's been cleaned and found it not vacuumed. - The fridge inside the room was on very high that everything we put inside was frozen and eventually spoiled the food and needed to throw it out - I attempted to use the room safe and it was locked. When I asked the receptionist at the time, she said she doesn't know how to use it. I asked another person the next day and she attempted to find out from the manager but still couldn't understand how to use it. - I tried printing something on the printer and the ink wasn't working and the printer needed toner, I told the receptionist and she knew that it needed toner and nothing she could do about it - The bathroom vent wasn't working so all the water vapor is trapped in the room for at least 30 mins after having opened the door. - Grab and go back was giving to me when I asked about it and other time receptionist said it's only for people who didn't get to eat breakfast. - Lastly the equipments at the gym are very very old and very outdated. The hotel should be ashamed thinking that these are work or equipment.

    Stayed here during vacation. The entire staff was amazing! The rooms were very clean. I really enjoyed the hot breakfast my check-in was really smooth I would definitely stay here again! Overall I love my stay ...it definitely stands up to the PLUS

    Besides being rented a room that had evidence of a water leak and strong smell of mold/mildew, the sleep was great. The room was clean and the stay very courteous. I would stay there again providing repairs are made to satifaction.

    The staff at the Hotel were very helpful. I stayed for three nights and everybody was super friendly. Room was clean and Chiles next door. I would recommend this Hotel to friends and Family! The Breakfast had great variety! I had no issues while I was there. Keep up the great work!

    Had my reservations when the price was cheap but it was a really nice hotel. The outside of the building makes it look old but the inside has alot of upgrades. Beds we're comfortable, wifi did fine, front desk service was friendly. When open my room door to check out, the aroma of bleach and other cleaning supplies we're lovely. I like the smell of the cleanliness instead of old moldy carpet from other hotels. Only complaint I had was no pool.....

    I've stayed at a lot of hotels across North America because I travel for a living. At first, I was optimistic because the last Best Western Plus I had stayed at was brand new. This hotel, however, is just old and worn out. Another reviewer said that everything "looked" clean but didn't "feel" clean. That's an excellent way to describe this place. The room looked nice enough but I didn't trust the cleanliness of the coffee maker, for example. The complementary breakfast was pitiful. I really don't expect much, but this was pretty bad. My biggest annoyance was that I had an important letter that was to arrive while I was staying there, but it ended up arriving after I checked out. It took SIX phone calls before I finally spoke with someone that could actually confirm that they would return the letter to the sender. Friends: do yourself a favor. Make an effort to stay elsewhere ? even if it means spending a little more money.

    « Great breakfast but not so clean bathrooms »

    We were on vacation and booked the room for 4 nights. The representative who received us was pleasant and provided us with all the information we needed for our stay. The room was in ok shape. The microwave did not work, the dresser, night table and bathroom were dirty. We arrived very late so we went to bed and asked for our room to be changed in the morning. The representative that assisted us with the change of room was very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, we went to 5 different rooms and the fifth one was the cleanest. There was hair on the floor and in the tubs in most of the rooms. All other staff that we came upon, none of them greeted us nor acknowledged us as we walked in or out of the hotel. We've stayed at other Best Western hotels and We would say this was not a very good experience.

    « A place to sleep . . . that's it »

    I stayed here to be morale support for my daughter who was interviewing for a job in the area. It was ok. Having a separate sitting area from the beds was a nice perk. It "looked" clean, but it didn't "feel" clean.It made me want to sleep in my clothes sitting up right in a chair. In general, the hotel has seen its better days. On a high note however, the staff was friendly and the hot items for breakfast was delightful.

    « Mold, Roaches.... »

    This hotel is so bad and so filthy that our entire group of 50 plus people ended up moving to another hotel. Some found mold in their rooms, cockroaches crawling up the wall, mold in the AC units. The black stuff on the carpets is probably mold too, spiders.... Of all the hotels I've stayed at during 7 months of touring for work, this is certainly the worst. It's miserable. The second worst was also a Best Western, go figure. Aside from being run down and ugly, my first room upon check in reeked of pot, so I had to be moved. I'm sure instead of actually cleaning the smelly room they'll just spray it with fabreze or other chemicals. The carpet was FILTHY in my room. See photo. They are not making it a priority to clean it, even when I showed them the filthy wet wipe (see photo) showing how disgusting my carpet was, and that my feet turn black from walking barefoot on it. The AC unit is unreasonably loud. The Internet went down and when I called the ISP that is on the card who is supposed to be handling the Internet they said they don't have any account information for this property and hung up on me. What an ugly miserable place Isolated in an ugly miserable part of town. As for the Internet: this Best Western like others I've had the misfortune of having to stay at for work has an Internet contract where the Internet company has no control over the devices and can't add Apple TV or any other device to the network. And the hotel staff know NOTHING about it, and have nobody on staff to handle it. So I'm stuck with no way to watch any of my Apple TV content, and can't even AirPlay from my phone or iPad. However, Ashley at the front desk has been truly amazing and I'm sorry she has to deal with the abundance of crap at this hotel. She's so patient and professional. She belongs in a nicer hotel, I'd give her a glowing reference any time. I hope she gets out and interviews at some nice places. The sales lady has been nice, but no amount of nice people can make up for what a disgusting depressing rat hole this hotel is.

    « A Diamond in the Rough »

    My family and I really enjoyed our visit to this hotel. Its location is great with restaurants surrounding the hotel; there's a great Buffalo Wild Wings across the street. As for the room, it was very clean and orderly. The beds are very comfortable. The flat-screen television is nice with plenty of channels to watch on high definition. The air condition is decent.. The parking lot is plentiful. One issue that I had was that the side entrance near my room was opened. It wouldn't lock to prevent unauthorized entry of the hotel, which I think is very dangerous. They WI-FI is decent. Breakfast is plenty, but it's your typical Best Western breakfast. The server made sure that everything was full, so everyone could get what they needed. The dinning area was a big small. Even so, the receptionist, servers, and hosts were wonderful. Overall, I would return to this hotel again. For the price, I think it's very great place to stay in.

    We have stayed at this place several times over the years, and although it is not the best run hotel I have ever stayed at, it still is rather nice. Very good breakfast; the staff is very helpful and friendly. Large rooms; good value.

    The dryer was not working. Most of the staff are polite. The breakfast is very good they actually cook eggs, bacon or sausage along with your regular cold breakfast such as cereal, yogurt. There are more quality hotels within a mile radius that have better amenities for a cheaper rate.

    Doors on each end of the building always unlocked, anybody can enter; dryer in laundry area during our 3 day stay never repaired, we had to go out to dry our clothes; not enough trash cans, there's only one in front of the entrance door, but always full! The staffs are nice but where is the manager? Come on, Mr Manager, wake up! Not happy with our stay, should be BW Minus, not Plus!

    Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced with Front Desk Staff named Yami. She was extremely rude and unprofessional, needs a course in customer service. Plus the TV didn't work and it took four trips to the room until 12:45am to fix.

    « Comfortable Stay »

    We booked this hotel though a third party website and stayed one night. The price was very reasonable. The location was good. Close to shopping and restaurants, with a Chili's in the parking lot. The lobby was large and clean with plenty of public space/seating. Check in was fast and friendly. The room was large and clean. We had a king size bed. The bed itself was average, but the bedding was comfortable. There were two sitting chairs, a desk, dresser and nightstands on each side of the bed. Both nightstands had lamps and electric outlets. There was a very nice large flat screen TV on the wall. There was also a mini fridge and small size microwave. Full size iron/ironing board and a safe. The one thing we could not find was an ice machine. And there was nothing in the room that said where we might find ice. In fact, there was no hotel information guide in the room at all. The bathroom was decent but could use a little upgrading. The shower curtain was actually torn in several places, the water in the sink did not drain well and water would fill up in the sink and the water pressure was low in the shower. There were only two large bath towels provided and minimal toiletries (small shampoo, conditioner, lotion and a bar of soap). There was also a coffee maker in here and a small hair dryer attached to the wall. The heating & cooling in the room works good and was not loud. Breakfast was included here and featured scrambled eggs and bacon along with the usual hotel breakfast items such as toast, muffins, bagels, oatmeal, boiled eggs, yogurt and cereals. Overall, we had a pleasant one night stay here and would stay again if in the area.

    -Offered friendly, professional staff from the front desk to housekeeping. -Room was inviting with typical amenities (flat screen, bible, air conditioning, compact fridge, microwave, coffeemaker). -Non-smoking rooms available, however, I could tell if someone smoked near my room on first floor. -Needed to use conference room and without prior notice, accommodations were made. -Near a variety of eateries and on one of Charlotte's main thoroughfares (Independence Boulevard / I-74. -Fare from Amtrak was 28.00 plus change. -Breakfast offered a variety of fruits, sausage, bacon, eggs, INSTANT grits and oatmeal, boiled eggs, etc. ****One caveat - Room 102 is near an exit and when used, it makes a loud noise and sounds as if one's door is being knocked down. Shy away from room 102. -reasonable vending machine prices -reasonable laundry services (w/d available with quarters I would and plan to stay at BW again, just will not stay in 102.

    Staff was very accommodating and courteous. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is easily accessible with plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff obviously took pride in keeping it clean and stocked.

    We had a block of rooms for family coming out of town for my daughter's party. Linda helped to set it up and worked well with everyone. The rooms were clean and everyone had a good breakfast. My family enjoyed their time. The hotel was convenient to the venue, as well.

    When we arrived at the desk late in the afternoon/early in the evening, the desk clerk was surrounded by five people and our party made seven. She was 2/3 into her 16 hour shift. She waited on each of us as we were the only person in the room and it was only minutes before we were checked in and in our room

    « Beware they may charge you for the room twice ! »

    The hotel is in a good location and it is moderately price . They will ask you for a credit card when you check in. Beware especially if you have a prepaid reservation through Price Line or Hotwire. They will charge your credit card for the room. They claim they need the credit card for incidentals but they really need it to try to sneak in the extra charge. Check your credit card statement every time. Better yet stay away . The Fairfield inn is almost next door and they are honest.

    We've stayed in this hotel 6 nights this month on business trips to and from Charlotte. Staff is very accommodating and go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best. Breakfast is great and we were very satisfied.

    « A Good, Solid Hotel »

    I was pleased with my stay at this hotel. The building was handsome, logical, and conveniently located. My check-in was easy and without incident. The staff I interacted with were helpful and friendly. My room was clean and functional. I had no problems with my stay, and would probably stay there again. One thing of note: this hotel was exceptionally quiet (or, at least, my room was, on the night of my stay). That is to say, I did not feel close to a major highway, and had a good night's sleep. My thanks goes out to all associated with this business. I am grateful for, and have benefited from, your work and service.

    Very good. I will be staying here each time I travel alone to Charlotte. Wish it was suitable to stay here when travelling with children (no pool available) as location is perfect. Children need an outlet for their energy so as not to bother others staying here.

    The worst experience of my life with this hotel and booking on hotels.com. Room and hallways reeked of smoke and I booked a non-smoking room. Carpet looked like it has not been cleaned in forever. I couldn't stay in the room bc my mom has asthma and she is coming through chemo. She can't be around stuff like that. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with hotels.com and they continue to give me the run around about getting my money back. Will never stay are this hotel and never get another hotel on hotels.com. The staff (Mona) was totally not helpful and neither was the SIX different people I talked to when I called hotels.com. I would have given zero stars if I could!!!

    The hotel is pleasant, clean and in good location accessible to Independence blvd. There is a restaurant next door and many other convenient restaurants nearby . All rooms have microwave and refrigerator. A big flat screen TV with excellent reception. Breakfast is average but adequate.

    « Very rude staff and poor book keeping skills »

    First off check my dozens of other reviews I have done all over the country. I always find something positive to say but trust me when I say there are much better options in the area for your lodging needs. Twice I have had issues with being double billed by this hotel and then when I called to get corrected both times they were extremely rude and unprofessional. The hotel on its best day at best is below average anyway. Looks like this place hasn't been updated in 20 years. The Fairfield Inn next door is a much better option if you have business in this area.

    Room was very clean, bed was comfortable enough. The lobby was welcoming and the breakfast was set up promptly at 6am. It had plenty of choices, and was fresh. We did not use the fitness center, but were also offered to go across the street to a fitness club free of charge just by showing our room key. If we had more time on this trip, it would have been a great addition!

    Hotel was adequate for my stay. Having breakfast buffet was one reason for my hotel choice so I could grab something quickly and get to the convention center. Housekeeping could have been a bit more attentive to needs.

    Room door would not open the entire stay. My mother had to use my adjourning room to get in and out of her room. On top of that she couldn't get in her room until 1:ooam in the morning and the staff only took off $20 of her bill. Horrible stay. My mother had no privacy!

    I enjoyed my stay at Best Western and will look for one on our next family vacation. I wish they would serve beef or turkey meat for breakfast for the ones that do not eat pork. The rooms was wonderful.

    Staff was most professional and cooperating relative to addressing my concerns as a guest there. The only issue I had is that I did not use the room safe but I was charged $1.50 each day as a safe fee. The safe fee is not mentioned as a cost for your stay. It is just automatically added to your bill. It should be included in the room rate. It is just the principal of the thing !!!

    So I heard about this place way before I decided to book a room. My parents suggested it because when they come down they always book at this hotel. I must say my experience was great. The staff were really nice. The breakfast was fresh and the rooms and bathrooms were up to par and clean. There are plenty places to eat and shop within a 5-7 mile radius. Downtown is not far either. Loved my stay. I will be booking again soon.

    Extremely friendly & courteous staff! Goes above & beyond expectations to fulfill your needs. Constantly looking for ways to improve & upgrade due to being a lower cost hotel. Rooms are clean & comfortable! Good breakfast! Internet needs some upgrading. Plenty of restaurants & shops in area.

    It's an average hotel. Clean enough, friendly enough. The location is convenient for us, there are plenty restaurants around. The breakfast is the typical American hotel breakfast which is so so. For a quick stay, if the price is right for you, sure.

    « Quite sufficient for my business visit »

    Being that I was spending most of my time in Charlotte, NC at a convention, my room was adequate and the refrigerator worked. Everything was sufficient and the staff very pleasant. Having Chilli's restaurant within walking distance was good. My one peeve was that my non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke when I first entered. Maybe it was too close to a smoking room. Anyway, I slept well. Love

    I actually thought their rooms was updated based on seeing there somewhat appalling lobby, which was in the process of being updated. Unfortunately.... The room was completely out dated, down to the beds and old furniture. Hotel actually smelled like mold and cigarettes. I immediately demanded a refund because it didn't meet my expectations, expecially paying $115 per night which wasn't worth it at all.

    I am a travelling sales rep. I come through Charlotte quite often. My company pays for my stay so I have some options between hotels in the area. I choose Best Western Plus over any of the others. The reason being the rooms and hotel is always very clean. I get checked in in a timely fashion 100% of the time. The staff is very caring and professional. I cant' say enough about their service. Not the mention the rates are fair, full hot breakfast:)...and free use of Energy Fitness across the street( a large gym). Most places just have their In House Gym and that's never enough for me. So its nice to see that the hotel offers guests a state of the art workout facility to use!! DON'T read a few negative reviews left by others and turn away. This property is fantastic!

    « Don't get the 1st floor »

    The first floor has water/mold issues as the hotel was built in a hole and it seems like water collects at the foundation and the whole first floor smells of mold. Also don't be fooled by "Queen sized beds" the beds are doubles and not comfortable. The best thing about it is the breakfast is good and the check-out is fast.

    Checked in New Years Eve. Went to my room and smell of cleaning chemicals almost knocked me down when entering room. Second room not as bad, but still a chemical odor. Left for party and set air to cold to try to filter the smell. Returned, still a problem . Went to front desk to explain....the response was as follows, " Sir we have already moved you one time simply because of a smell. There is nothing else we can do. The hotel is full. I said ok and turned to walk away. The guy then starts trying to redeem himself by saying he would give me another room if he had it. Problems with humidity in room and water wouldn't drain out of tub. Hotel is dated and customer service doesn't want to be bothered. Go next door to Fairfield.

    Hello, My name is Eric McCants. I've stayed here at this Best Western location a number of times throughout the Spring, Summer n Fall of 2015 n never have I seen, or thought that this location would have any issues. Well tonite, a different story. Dec 31, 2015.. What a way to bring in the New Years. This Best Western is seriously infested with Bed Bugs. I recorded a video of 1 crawling on the bed away from my 4 month old son. I believe it had been in his hair. I was napping when my fiance woke me because they were crawling up the wall from the top of the headboard. She took tissue n gotten 4 of them n flushed them. This location ALWAYS a clean hotel whnever I stayed here. But after this visit, I WILL NOT EVER stay here AGAIN! This is really, really pathetic. You should drop the name BEST WESTERN, n change it to Super Infested 8, or Infested Motel 6.. Not to mention the used bandage on the floor under the sink. Doesn't look like anyone is following up the house keepers by inspecting the rooms before they're renting rooms to the high dollar paying guest.

    We enjoyed our overnight stay at this hotel. The lobby is not large, but is lovely with attractive earth tone tile throughout, including the breakfast area. Front desk lady was so helpful - we had a problem connecting to wi-fi and she came down to our room in a flash and got it fixed. The room was very comfortable and spacious, as was the bathroom - including a large vanity. The mattress and bedding were excellent. Breakfast was standard fare for hotel breakfasts - well stocked and with good choices including fresh fruit.

    The staff was pleasant, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and check-out was easy. The value was great as I got an express deal on Priceline.com. The breakfast is okay. Some items from the hot bar aren't all that great but they have other items to choose. I plan to stay again in the future.

    The person checking us in was very considerate to take care of us-while checking in a party of 30+ People that were there for a event. The room was very clean, and the bed was great and sleeping was wonderful. We have family in Charolotte and plan to return to this Best Western Plus each time.

    Stayed here twice. First room handicap access room had shower bar coming off wall. Second time ac unit very noisy. Management said they would comp 10 % of bill and give extra points and they never did either. There is a whole row of much better hotels in this area.

    Our original first floor room smelled of mold and the ac/heating unit was extremely loud. We requested a new room, and the clerk obliged with no questions. The new room was much better but the bathroom smelled of sour cleaning water or something strange. Bed was comfy, ac unit was nice, etc.

    This BW was very deceiving. it looked very nice from the outside and the lobby wasn't bad but our actual room was old and outdated. The wall paper was peeling off the walls in the bathroom and there was no fan to help with steam. The mirror fogged up and you couldn't even use it till after it cleared out. The plastic was peeling off the toilet seat. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and the walls were so thin you could hear the people chatting in the next room till very late and their tv blasting. Breakfast was cold and yucky!

    I stayed two nights and the hotel is quite clean and peaceful. They might want to refresh the bathroom towels/wash clothes, but otherwise a pleasant experience. The breakfast is also bland, and presents not very many choices, but good for the price. Will stay again.

    On our way back to Florida from Pa/NY we stayed at the Best Western in Charlotte. This hotel was conveniently located and easy on and off the interstate. Parking was fine. Check in was very easy and the staff behind the desk were very helpful. I was a little taken back when I say furniture lined up in the lobby and some of the hallways. After looking at the pieces, I determined that they were changing the decor of the hotel. There were no problems with the room which was nicely decorated and clean. Having coffee available for us in our room was one of the things we look for when we book a hotel. We also liked the idea of coffee/tea being available 24 hours a day in the lobby. Again, the hotel staff were very friendly and cooperative. Forgetting about the furniture lining the lobby and halls, it was a very nice hotel. Would we stay there again?? Yes without hesitation.

    From the exterior this hotel looks good however, I found that the rooms needed a serious upgrade/refacing. There was a musty smell in my room and they were doing maintenance work in the corridor which produced a very powerful shellac/lacquer smell . However, the breakfast was quite good and the area was clean and well presented!

    We stopped at this Best Western on our way up from Florida just in the nick of time to miss a massive thunder storm. Although we don't usually eat at chain restaurants, the Outback right across the street really hit the spot. Our room was clean and spacious. Don at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay again.
