    « Exceptional Stay »

Perfect in every way. Close enough to Disneyland to be convenient but far enough away to be quiet and enjoyable. I would say the only issue was slow internet - other than that the entire property was well maintained and a great place to stay. I recommend it highly for a family adventure.

    « Loved it »

I was surprised that there are 2 separate rooms, which was nice for having privacy. The internet was fast and we had no trouble with it. The breakfast included many great options. Everything else was great.

    « Comfy Value »

Overall a nice hotel, comfy beds, decent breakfast w/good options, great staff. 2 room family suite is great! Enough room for 8 & 2 bathrooms; Not many family suites have this luxury! proximity to DL is good; walk or take Toy Story shuttle. I really like this BW & have stayed before so it's always an option for us.

    « Clean, quiet, comfortable »

Room was ready on time, the lot was clean, people were friendly, and it was quiet. Close enough to walk to disney. Right next to toystory parking to catch a shuttle. The breakfast was good as well. Better than most hotels I've stayed in!

« Great price, good location! »

Enjoyed our stay. It is a great location to Disneyland. Recommend either taking the bus or driving to and from the park. We had a car and it worked great for us to and from the park. Rooms were very roomy, especially when traveling with family or a couple of families. Room could have been updated, such as lamp shades and electrical plugs. The staff was great. The security guys were awesome too. Would still recommend this hotel.

« Skeptical at first, But WOW what a room! »

We had looked for a quick last night stay due to our other half of the party leaving and we only needed a small room to finish our trip. We stayed in room 329 and it was huge for a double queen bedroom! It's close to Disney and the ART shuttle comes through their as well. The water pressure in the jetted tub/shower was amazing! High pressure that is. Next time I go to Disney Land this hotel will be my go to for an amazing price. Comfy beds too! Only two negatives, one would be they tried to make me pay for parking but hey did an "exception" for me. If you ask I'm sure they would waive the $15.00 fee. Also, the rooms were slightly outdated. We didn't mind because we checked in late due to being at the park all day.

« Nice place to stay when visiting Disneyland »

The hotel is nice and tidy and is a close bus ride to Disneyland. We stayed here for 2 nights and had a good comfortable stay - the air con was a little loud but you get used to it quickly. The rooms are basic but i Anaheim is not really the place you go to spend a lot of time at your hotel - you are there to enjoy the theme parks. We did leave an item in our room and we called the hotel to get it back - they emailed us the lost and found form and told us to return it via email. We have done this and 2 days later we are still waiting for a reply so not very happy with that...

« Nice Family Stay while visiting Disneyland »

Recently we took a family trip down to Anaheim to visit Disneyland. We had a very nice two room suite with 2 bathrooms. 2 Queen beds in one room and second room had bunk beds for our grandsons and an additional queen sofa sleeper. Two TVs, a microwave and mini fridge. Free breakfast every morning. It was in walking distance to Disneyland. Our family enjoyed it very much. A very nice place to stay while visiting Disneyland.

    « Best western »

I really enjoyed my stay. From the front desk on check in till time to check out everyone was friendly. rooms were perfect for my family size and the cost was good. I will highly recommend this to anybody. Also breakfast was very high quality so much to choose from.

« Great place to stay with friendly staff »

Stayed here for 5 nights The rooms were average with the very basics. This place is more suited for those on a short trip in need of a place to stay.. Free breakfast was average, and the dining area is very small.. About a 15 minute walk to Disneyland, a bit over priced but that was expected for where it's located.

    « A Decent Stay »

We arrived here quite late at night. I reserved a room a couple months in advance. I booked at booking.com and found a room with a bunk bed and a soft couch with a door and a queen sized bed on the other side. When we arrived at midnight, we found out that they no longer had this room available and had switch us to a different room. This room had a queen bed, door, and sofa couch with another queen bed. I was disappointed, as our kids were looking forward sleeping in the bunk beds. There was no manager on duty and none expected for the entirety of our stay. I was offered free parking (we did not have a car) and 10% discount (which it looks like if I signed up for their Best Western club I would have been able to get anyway). So, basically nothing. This was kind of disappointing. The room we were in was decent and clean. The fan in the bathroom was pretty noisy. In essence, it was a good place to rest after a long day at Disneyland. The breakfast in the morning was great. We enjoyed the all you can eat extended continental breakfast. There were sausage patties, muffins, doughnuts, toast, english muffins, egg patties, fried potatoes, yogurt, waffles, cereal, granola, oranges, apples, and a variety of beverages. I don't know what the other reviewers were thinking, there was a lot of variety and it was completely edible. If you are looking for an egg white omelet with spinach frittata, you will not find this here. Try the Disneyland hotel buffet breakfast for $30 a plate. We loaded up at the hotel breakfast, took an apple and doughnut for the road, and were able to skip lunch and just go for dinner. The park is a decent walk: 15 minutes - out the hotel and to the right. If you are tired, one block from the hotel is the Disneyland parkade. You can go in there and get a free shuttle. Similarly, upon exiting Disneyland you can catch the number 20 bus (to the right upon exiting) to return to the parking lot. This is free. Will we be back? Maybe. It was a bit far from the park, but the price was right and the breakfast was good.

« OK Experience not great »

The motel is quite large with limited parking available and a $15 a day parking fee. Rooms were clean enough but very noisy, ie shower and toilet noise from adjoining rooms was very annoying especially at midnight and 6 am in the morning. Breakfast room eating area is very small for the quantity of people in the room. Have stayed at much nicer motels in the same area for less money and closer to the Disneyland Resort.

    « Weekend in LA »

Came to LA for my birthday weekend. Easy to get to/from Disneyland. Clean and staff was very friendly. Only problem we had was we reserved a king room and they didn't have any when we got there. So for my fiancé and I we had a 2 queen bedroom.

    2
« Recommend you look elsewhere! »

Based on passed reviews and hotel rating I expected more than we received, Due to back and leg issues I wanted a first floor single king, instead ended up in a second floor, double queen, bed was uncomfortable bother my back and hips, upon check in we were advised that there would be no hot water on the second day due to them replacing the boiler. very noisy, they charge for parking normally (however they did wave my parking fee)

    4
    « Decent Hotel »

For the price of suite with included breakfast you can't beat it. Free Toy Story parking lot is just down the street and takes you to the front gates of Disney. DON'T TAKE THE PAID (ART) SHUTTLE THATS IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL ITS A SCAM! Pool is great and staff is friendly and helpful. Bedding on twin bunk mattress protector had urine stains which staff replaced the night we arrived and comp'd our parking fee ($13/night). Found a cockroach in one of the closets and staff wanted to move us to another room but could not due to lack of availability on another suite. Even with issues we would stay again.

    4
    « Disneyland Holiday »

A great hotel not far from Disneyland (about twenty minute walk or ART bus stops outside and you can buy tickets at reception). Being a bit further say it was quiet, only problem is the breakfast room is so small (only about ten tables) and the options available never change.

    4
« Best Option for Disneyland »

This hotel is perfect if you are going to Disneyland! Not too expensive and a few minutes from Disneyland parking or shuttle service to the park. Good complimentary breakfast. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable.

    2
    « Ok hotel »

Not so cheap basic hotel, the staff were helpful and friendly. It is quite a walk from Disneyland especially if you have children and the advice to use the Disney transport can mean long queues. Watch out for their no cancellation policy, if we had not already paid we would definitely have moved hotels.

    3
    « Just OK »

I was told a different price on the phone than when I arrived, and was even credited an amount but it was still higher than what I was quoated on the phone. Needs more plugs, there was no where to plug in our stuff to charge, we had to pull the dresser out and the bed in order to get a plug.

    3
« Good family base for Disneyland »

Our family of five stayed here for a five nights, the room was a good size and the bunks were a lovely addition. All of the beds in our room were comfortable, with a decent range of pillows. The included breakfast had an interesting variety of foods, which were frequently refreshed during the morning. The walk from this hotel to Disneyland was easy. On Sunday night we watched the fireworks from the Carpark.

    « clean »

this is a clean hotel with very pleasant and attentive staff. the room was clean and perfect for our large family of 5 adults, a toddler and a 10 month old. we stayed in the suite with 2 bathrooms, 2 king-sized beds, a pullout sofa that accommodates 2, and a set of twin bunk beds (that the 3 year old loved). helpful hint-walk to the Disney offsite parking lot shuttle that is located 2 blocks from the hotel to get back and forth to Disney. it is free and saves a lot of walking and parking/transportation fees.

    « All Good »

Excellent experience. Location was perfect and facility was more than satisfactory. The pool also came in handy with the hot weather. I would recommend to anyone travelling to Disneyland or Anaheim convention centre.

« Place to rest after disney »

Close to Disneyland, close to restaurants.Good value,A place to rest after a day at Disney,The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi connection and television.very quiet. The parking was a little tight.

    4
    « close to disneyland »

good service at front desk, but they dont tell you that you have to pay for parking when you reserve a room. good room, clean and accesible. we decided to walk to the parks it is not too far, and it is cheaper than pay for parking in disney. used the gym also good. basic breakfast, not so good coffee. easy check out. so many restaurant close, it is a great location and just for sleeping, its cool. would come back

« BED BUGS" DIRTY FILTHY CARPET" »

Our Family of which consisted of Two adult couples and i teenager booked the suite on the 3rd floor because I was told there were 2-separate bedrooms. There are, but one bedroom is equipped for children with bunk beds and the other with 2-queen beds". No Privacy for each couple" !st disappointment" We decided to make it work when they said we did not have an option we would be charged for the 6-days we booked 2-month's in advance.. The room was very dated in the late 80-s design and the carpet was in browns and oranges and was very, very dirty.. I had to wash my feet before I could put on my shoes and they were black on the bottom.. The bedding was Clean and beds were comfortable" HOWEVER" ON DAY 4 of our stay my husband was laying on the bed and a Cockroach Crawled out of the covers" At the same time my daughter discovered another Cockroach in the 2nd bathroom in the sink" :(.. We called the front desk and my husband was told they were very sorry and that the last 2-nights would be free if we stayed and they would have someone come up while we were out and spray for the bugs while we were out"!! We decided we would stay. My grandson and myself used the hot tub and the swimming pool 2-of the nights. after the hotub use the second night I noticed a large amount of Bubble type scum" in 1/2 of the hot tub area. I told my grandson to stay away from it but he was in it. The next day and night he & myself came down with a Bacterial Ear infection.. We did not swim again. 2-of the nights we decided to try and rent a movie to watch. We had problems and the front desk rather than handle the situation connected us directly to the Cable company. We had to explain our problem and go through steps to reprogram our remote to start the movie". The second time we tried same thing " Only the Cable company said they could not do anything because the hotels system needed to be updated , so no movie".. We were charged $15.00 a night additional to park our rental car that was not mentioned on booking.. The Breakfast's were done well" each morning. The topper was at check out" I told my husband to check us out and get a credit for the two nights they had told us they would take off due to the cockroaches" He went down and a new person was working and informed him that they said they would take off 2-nights of Parking charges!! Absolutely Ridiculous" we surely would have moved to a different hotel.. They said the manager would be calling me when he complained that it wasn't 2-nights room charges"... The manger called as I was arriving home in Salt Lake and proceeded to tell me that there was another employee present and that it was the parking they offered and we heard them wrong".. I became very upset and said we only stayed because of that and they said they would be spraying for the bugs after we left for disneyland that day. Then she tells me" They couldn't spray and didn't as we had all of our belongings in the room".. I am Preying we did not come home with Cockroach eggs in our clothes or suitcases".. She also offers to credit us $90.00 and points for a stay at bestwestern for 1-night in the future.. She would not make good on what was told to us and THEY DIDN'T EVEN SPRAY THE ROOM WHEN WE LEFT!! I would never recommend staying here, other than the location is close to Disneyland and the breakfast bar was good. Very Upset and unsatisfied from Salt Lake..

    « Excellent for Disney »

Very convenient for Disney. Excellent value. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. I spent a lot of time researching for a suitable place to stay not knowing the area and we found this to meet all our needs as a stop over between two days at Disneyland

    4
    « Nice Place »

Very nice place. We had a two bedroom suite and it worked great. There is only one bathroom but in one of the bedrooms was an extra sink with a large counter that helped out perfect. We didn't spend a lot of time there but it is close to Disneyland which is very convenient.

    3
    « Stay at Disneyland »

Hotel was dated and pillows were horrible. Who has square pillows? Many outlets had electricity problems and wouldn't charge phones. It was an okay hotel for how long we spent in the room. I was upset when one of our iphones went missing from the room and when we told the front desk they didn't seem to care.

    5
    « Raffles is Great »

Raffles is the perfect place to stay while visiting Disneyland. The rooms are made for families and are very reasonable. The breakfast is included and a great start to a day at Disney where you will have ample opportunities to spend money on food. It is a short walking distance to a a Disney parking lot where you can catch a shuttle to the park entrance. There is a fee to park in the hotel parking lot but it is less than the fee of parking in an actual Disney lot.

    3
« Basic and functional family suite. »

We wanted to have a day at Disney. This hotel was inexpensive and a five minute bus journey away. Our room was near the breakfast room and right outside our room was an eating area which could be a little noisy at times. Otherwise not a bad place to stay. Great pool and hot tub.

« Decent option to stay during Disney half marathons »

I booked this hotel for a stay during Labor Day Weekend and the Disneyland Half Marathon. The price per night with taxes, fees, and parking came out to about $113/nt for a 2-bedroom suite on the ground floor, not too bad for the location, the quality of the hotel/room, and the holiday weekend. Positives: The hotel had a pool that we didn't use, and the main lobby area had water, fruit, and cookies available throughout the day. They also had computers and printers for guest use. There is a complimentary hot/cold breakfast every morning which had a decent selection. There is a shuttle/bus stop right outside which we used to get to and from the marathon course. The suite contained a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and air conditioners and tvs in both rooms. There was also a small pull out sofa which we didn't use. The room was clean and comfortable for two people and there is free wifi which worked well throughout our stay. The hotel itself is nicely located, only about 15-25 minute walk to the entrances of Downtown Disney and Disneyland, 5 minutes to the convention center, 5-10 minutes to drugstores and restaurants. Negatives: One minor negative was the bathroom fixtures could have used some upgrading. We had two sinks and for one of them the stopper was stuck and the water didn't drain quickly. The other negative, which was more problematic is that the walls are very thin in certain areas of the room. We had the 2-bedroom suite and the second room which contained the second bed had very thin walls and at midnight when the family with kids next door returned, you could clearly hear their conversations. Luckily I just so happen to have some earplugs stashed in my bag, otherwise I would not have been able to fall asleep. If you are a light sleeper like me, there is no way you'd be able to fall asleep if there are people in the next room who are speaking in anything other than a whisper. Overall: Overall, our stay was good and the positives outweighed the negatives. If you have considerate neighbors or the room next door is empty, then noise shouldn't be too much of an issue. If you're staying in the area because of Disneyland, then the hotel is convenient and comfortable for the amount of time you'll actually be in the room. Hotels in the area are expensive and this place was on the ?cheaper? side. I would stay here again for about the same rate and also for the convenience to the park for the half marathons that take at Disney throughout the year.

    « GOOD STAY »

My family and I have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed our stay. We had a two room suite previously and decided to get a two room suite again. The only problem with the suite we got this time is the second bedroom didn't have air conditioning or a ceiling fan. This was uncomfortable for our kids so on the second day I lowered the thermostat on the only air conditioner we had and that somewhat helped. The beds are comfy and they do serve a hot breakfast. The hotel is close to Disney and downtown Disney.

    5
« Our first family trip »

Right in between Roscoe's chicken and waffles and Disney. =). The stay was actually a lot better than I thought. Don't expect The Ritz and don't expect Motel 6. It's right in the middle. The gals that work the front desk are great.

    5
    « Disney Family Vacation »

My family & I always take our annual vacation to visit Disneyland and when we do we definitely stay at this hotel. The location is great, the breakfast is above & beyond delicious, & their rooms are awesome. Especially their suites! This year we took a step up & enjoyed their suite which was like staying at a fully furnished apartment lol. Very comfortable rooms, kitchen, & bathroom. The rooms were very clean & we had a good view. The staff here are cool & caring. Jerry, who is one of the managers, ensured we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Jerry! We most definitely did & can't wait for our next return soon.

    4
    « Not bad »

It was old but it was clean. It was a good price with an awesome near-Disney location. They had a nice free breakfast. You have to pay for parking, but that's just the area I guess. I loved that I was able to get a room with a queen bed, a sofa bed and a bunk bed for my family of 6 all in one room. It was not super nice, but perfectly great for the price.

    4
« Good Option for Disney Holiday »

This hotel is a good budget friendly option for a Disney stay. The rooms were a good size and were clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a reasonable choice of foods and there was an outside eating area as well as inside. A 15 minute walk to Disney which was fine. The pool area was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

    5
« Clean, tidy and easy to find »

After a long trip from upstate California me and my partner just wanted to get some rest. Straight forward to get to, the car park attendant once confirmed our name told us where to go and what to do. Checked in with no hassle, even though the guy on reception was hassled he maintined courtesy which was nice. Room was clean and tidy, even though we only stayed for one night, we could have definitly have stayed for 14. We were too late for breakfast so can't comment on quality of that but general feel of the hotel was good.

    5
    « Family vacation »

Was a amazing hotel plenty of room for the whole family. their breakfast was amazing the pool was soothing and very relaxing. Very close to Disneyland very accommodating for parking and shuttle to Disneyland and back plan on staying there again

    « Awesome Disneyland Hotel »

This hotel is a great place to stay when going to Disneyland. They offer the separate kids room as well as a free full size breakfast with something for everyone. The pool is heated and very nice. The valet is there on site 24 hours to keep your vehicles safe. A transit bus is very close and drops you right at the entrance to Disneyland. Staff is friendly, kind and go above and beyond when a situation needs their upmost attention. I highly recommend Raffles Inn ,.,,.

    4
« Great option for Disney! »

My husband and I stayed at this hotel back in June. Our purpose for visiting the area was to experience Disneyland. This hotel was a nice, affordable option. Service excellent, the shuttle passes you could purchase made travel to/from Disney a breeze, breakfast was delicious and with plenty of variety, and our room was nice, large, and very clean. Families can appreciate the large bathroom with double sinks. The pool area was nice, though we didn't ever use it because there were always so many children in it (understandable since it's just down the road from Disney). If you're looking for an affordable, convenient place, we highly recommend Raffles!

« Nice place to stay for a business trip. »

I stayed at this hotel because it was close to the convention center. I was attending a conference and needed an affordable place to stay. I would recommend the Raffles Inn & suites in Anaheim Ca. The desk and internet were beneficial for my laptop computer and I was able to complete my work with ease. I enjoyed to complimentary breakfast. I made a fresh waffle and had many options to chose from at the breakfast bar. This was much more than an the average continental breakfast you find at most hotels.

    5
    « Best hotel I've stayed »

Great hotel ! Friendly staff not to noisy free breakfast loved the rooms ! Really nice and clean ! Walking distance from Disneyland ! Very convenient only thing I have to say is didn't know u you have to pay for parking but overall great hotel! Give it 5 stars

    3
« Great staff at a mid range hotel »

Very good proximity to shopping center and restaurants. Average price for mid level hotel that has a great and attentive staff. We did not take advantage of breakfast feature but it is a nice feature. The room we had was clean and beds were very comfortable. The hotel is a little older and furnishings are not fancy or luxurious but how much time do you spend in a room when you visit Disneyland and other local venues? Only complaint was that there was a lot of noise from other rooms and outside hallways seemed to have lots of traffic with carts and luggage being rolled. Substantial amount of noise for anyone who spent significant amount of time in their room, which I did. Family was art park most of time and did not really notice except for a couple of times late at night with inconsiderate guests speaking loudly in hall of near ice machines. If this occasional thing bothers you then don't stay here. We were fine overall.

    4
« Clean and basic hotel »

Clean and basic room. I had a big room with two large beds on the first floor. One bed was in a separate room with a window. There was enough space. Breakfast is ok. However, I would recommend more fruit. Overall, price-quality was this a great option.

    4
« Close, Decent Rates, Pay for Parking »

I reserved my room in advance, so the rate was very good. Two queen beds, two bunk beds, but best of all 2 bathrooms. Pull out couch was fairly uncomfortable, but not unexpected. Walk to Disney parking, 10 minutes, for the shuttle and you're in the park in 10 minutes. Pay to park is outdated and they should do away with it. I had no problem parking, unlike other reviews. Carpet was worn and needs to be replaced. Overall the rate and closeness to the park made it an enjoyable visit. Front desk clerk was efficient and pleasant.

    3
    « Vacation / Disney / Angels game »

I would say that you should expect to have a parking spot for your vehicle especially when they are charging you $12.00 per day to park and being a guest. But that is not the case they were to focused on making money for people going to Disneyland than to provide there paying hotel guests the service first the Checkin lady was rude and unaccommodating but was what it was as we only had to deal with her for a few minutes. The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean and the location is pretty central for all things Anaheim Ca. The maintenance guys are the go to guys for all your help if you need anything. Thumbs up to them. The front desk staff are not caring, accommodating or even care that your on vacation so you can only hope there vacation they are treated the same as they do to others. (Except the morning checkout lady) but here is my main beef. Came back from the baseball game to a room full of marijuana smoke you could barely stand it we called the front desk twice from our room the first time we watched as they laughed when we hung up the phone note we could see them from our room ! The second time we called we had to be forcefull to take us serious as there were two other sets of guests outside of there rooms. we all looked at them as they laughed again and looked at us from there window and saw all of us standing outside our rooms only then did they call a maintenance guy to come and fumigate the rooms. we all informed them to please ask, call, come over to do something to stop the people in the room next to ours to stop. not only is it illegal to smoke in the rooms but no effort was made by them at all. We had to ask the people in the room to see how many people they were inconveniencing they gladly apologized and took it out to the middle of the parking lot. So all in all nice place but do not expect customer service from the front staff as it is non existent ...

    « Big and spacious »

Great hostel for people staying on a budget. The separate room for the kids was great. Our girls are 2 and 6, but they loved having a bathroom and sink area of their own. Close enough to walk to Disneyland, or slip into the parking lot and catch a bus.

    « Disney Vacation »

Hotel is good for a group we had the family suite with 3 teenagers and had space for everyone separate bathrooms come in handy, pool area is small but they enjoyed it breakfast was typical hotel should inform you of the $15 a day charge for parking at time of booking but everything was wonderful

    « Good stay »

Was recently at this hotel. We were camping in southern Cali and decided to stay at a hotel for our last day and go to Disneyland. This hotel is good to stay at. Decent price for a family suite. Serves breakfast but I missed it so cannot comment. Long walk from Disneyland especially at the end of a full day. Would try to catch an uber or cab if the ART is not running. Did not see a courtesy shuttle from the hotel. the family suite had a king bed, a sleeper sofa, and a bunk bed. I stayed at another hotel on my last visit and the bunks were short in length. These bunks are adult length and were comfortable for the night. Would stay here again if just passing through. Wouldn't stay longer than 1 night due to the cost. But overall was very good.

« Too expensive for this poor accommodation... »

Not suitable for single mother, solo traveller or low income earners. Too expensive that's why I could not afford to stay for a few more nights. Breakfast is TERRIBLE & UNHEALTHY... Great location close to everything...

To start with the folks at the front desk are all really wonderful. All very helpful! This is a older style motel in an area that sees people come and go every couple of days, so I doubt there are ever any down times to do much upkeep. In the hotel description, they say they are pretty pleased with how they have updated the rooms, but we found them pretty old school. Not sure what the cleaners use either as every wood surface and doors are sticky to the touch, but not dirty. There is a laundry room by the elevator with 2 washers and 2 dryers. We had a family suite so 2 rooms and a queen bed out front and bunk beds in the rear. Poor layout in the rear, you cant relax and watch tv while on the couch, only if you jump in a bunk bed. Not that we spent much time watching tv anyway. But great when you have kids with you that you can have a little adult privacy separated by a door. There is a microwave, kettle, coffee maker and hair dryer, plenty of towels and such. The pool is open with reasonable hours and we were able to spend an hour or so every afternoon out there it was great as was the hot tub. They include a decent breakfast which is so helpful to get that start before heading to Disneyland. We purchased ART tickets so we were able to travel by bus to Disneyland every day. It would have been a 20 minute walk, which we saved by riding instead and walking for hours at the park instead. The ART comes by every 20 minutes or so, you take either BUS 1 or 2. All in all, a good hotel for the cost and a great location being a bit off the Disneyland area. There are some food options near by, we had dinner and lunch at the Double Tree across the road, Roscos down the street, IHOP Chinese etc.

« It met our needs »

The hotel met our needs. While one my children called it a motel. Nevertheless, this property met our needs as a family. We had the family two room arrangement with the children in bunk beds and sofa bed in one room and the queen bed in a separate room. It was a little tight especially with only one bathroom. The breakfast was fine. It is always crowded and the space is small especially for property close to disneyland and the convention center.

« Excellent hotel for Disney trip »

Very nice hotel for our family trip to Disneyland. Staff was a pleasure to work with so our rooms could be close. The breakfast was good and well attended to by staff. Cleaned daily and very comfortable beds. Close enough to walk to Disney but also on the ART shuttle schedule was great. Would love to stay here again on our next trip.

    « Awesome Family Suite »

Our family suite held all 4 of our teenage children! The breakfast was good as well. We liked having the two bedrooms and two bathrooms...and each kid had their own bed! It was so perfect being close to restaurants & Disney!

« handy to disney land »

simple but it had everything i needed, however i booked a room with 2 queen beds and this is not what i receieved one queen bed and bunks, others had the same issue (a little disappointed), breakfast was simple but had a variety of choices, was mislead about disney tickets that were available to purchase, discovered that this was not the case and trying to purchase tickets on line the night before and print them not the best thing

    « Nice place »

Went through Costco on this one.. Was nice and pleasant. Beds were good being I woke up feeling rested. Carpet seemed a little dirty as my feet were dirty; put shoes on.. lighting was weird the brightest ceiling lights I have ever seen in a hotel room. When checking in the associate that was helping guest in front of me did not ever acknowledged; I expect the worker to say Hi and let me know that I will be helped shortly..

« good breakfast, clean & close to Disney »

Check in were pleasant, met two training clerks, but they are very nice and gave very clear answer and instruction. Hot breakfast, Decor kind of old but clean, and price is good around Disney area. parking lot is an issue too little parking space. 20 min walk to Disney, so we chose to drive to Disney instead. Heard ppl complained about noise in review. but we came back from Disney about 11pm, too tired to hear any noise. good night sleep. shower water is good.

    « Great Hotel »

This is a great hotel, the price is cheap and the quality is excellent. This hotel is able to accommodate my family of 7 very comfortably. The continental breakfast is delicious with many options to chose from. The rooms are clean and up to date with décor.

    « Summer Vacation »

This hotel definitely doesn't meet Best Western standards. The rooms, bathrooms, and pool area are in serious need of a remodel. The room air conditioner is excessively loud when your trying to watch TV or sleep. The bathroom wallpaper is peeling in several areas and has a fan that is louder than the room A/C. The pool area is very outdated. This is our second time here in 2 years, but definitely our last unless it's upgraded. The only positives were the excellent breakfast each day and the outstanding staff!

    « Just on vacation »

My family and I were just looking for a get away from our regular lifes and Best Western made our trip amazingly Peaceful. Only Downer was that your points dont pay for a suite. I thought that when your a Best Western member you get an upgrade especially since we stayed more than three nights. Maybe next time.

We love this place. We get the 2 Bath room and it is grand. The place is very clean and comfortable. The rooms have a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast is good and the rooms a quiet. We will return again.

    « Clean and Resonable »

Stayed here on Memorial Weekend, Hotel was clean, décor was average. Hotel Staff were very helpful and eager to please. Downside, the breakfast room is small, selection was average. Its a little walk to the front entrance of DL. It serves its purpose, just there to sleep, Clean rooms, clean bathrooms and helpful staff. Safe place to stay.

    « Close to Disney!! »

A great place! We were happy to get this place so near to Disney and at a good rate. The room was nice and the breakfast was fantastic...you know how sometimes they run out of food ? but here, even though the place was sooooo busy, the workers kept everything filled up exceptionally. And there were so many choices! You can just walk a block away to get the Disney bus shuttle in the Toy Story parking lot; super easy and close. One great problem is parking. The first night we arrived back late , we saw cars double-parked and we wondered!!! There are not enough spaces for the number of rooms. (Of course, some people would come without cars, but many do, as did we.l) They have solved the problem beautifully: there is an attendant who will valet park for you at no extra cost (there is already a parking fee) and then move cars as needed to "let you out". The last day we were there, he had parked 35 cars! Obidah was the attendant we saw the most and he was so helpful. ( We did hear that they did not use to have the attendant prior to this year and it was more difficult. But we had no problems this year ) They also kept our "valuable" luggage in their storeroom (e.g. computers) while we left our car parked there during our last day at Disney as we were leaving that evening to start home. This was super convenient. All staff members were excellent, friendly and helpful. Thanks so much, we'll come again!!

    « Needs cleaning »

Walls and floors dirty and had a roach in my room. We got switched rooms and the floors in that room was dirty. The front desk staff was polite and accommodating. Breakfast was good; but didn't have a non-pork option.

« Quick visit to Disneyland »

We were there for only two nights. It was nice and clean and had a pretty good breakfast. The water pressure in the shower was also good, which is appreciated after a long day! It is close to the park but not as close as some of the others, and all steps matter when spending two days at Disneyland. (There is a $5 Shuttle outside.) My friends and I all agreed we would stay there again.

    4
    « Close and friendly »

I took the family to Disneyland. We stayed at the Raffles Inn because it was close to Disneyland. When we arrived we were greeted by the front desk and checked in quickly. That night we went to the pool and hot tub. Both were fun and clean. The next day we went for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the selection. Fresh fruit, waffles and muffins. I would stay again.

    4
    « Pleasant stay »

The hotel is conveniently located in Anaheim. Staff was pleasant. Love the breakfast bar and the "to go" breakfast. The only two negatives for me were that I was able to hear everything going on outside and that parking was $15 per vehicle per night.

    4
    « Disneyland vacation »

Rooms were nice we got upgraded to a family suite so plenty of space for a family of 5 and 2 bathrooms was a plus. Beds were okay. Shower water pressure was good but did not get hot enough so took a warm shower rather than a nice hot one. Had to pay for parking nightly even when there were no spaces available and had to cart belongings long way to room up flight of stairs because elevator was on other side of building. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was really nice.

« Average in every way. »

So I stayed here several years ago and the stay was terrible. I read that it had been remodeled, so thought I'd give it another try at a recent trade show. The stay started out poorly, but most of that is due to the fact that the doors don't seal well so you hear EVERYTING happening outside, and you can also smell the cigarette smoke from the smoking area of if you are anywhere near the breakfast room where it is located. The staff did move me to the other side of the hotel and the room was much better, so despite one night's lost sleep, the rest of the stay was acceptable. If you are a family and can get a room here at a low price, then it is a good move. If you are paying a premium or expecting something upscale and nice, you will be sadly disappointed. They have improved the place and remodeled it nicely, but this is still an incredibly average hotel. Okay if you are needing a place to sleep, but if you are expecting to spend a lot of time in the rooms, you may well be disappointed.

« Affordable, Clean, but lacking insulation »

When looking for a room that will sleep a group of seven (7) - six (6) of which are 14-year-old Girl Scouts, this was the only hotel that met the budget and sleeping requirements. Unfortunately, sleep is what we didn't receive. Upon entering the room, I immediately did my regular routine - pulled up the sheets entirely from the bed, placing them all in the center, and then did the spot check for bed bugs. I check THOROUGHLY and did this on all five beds (two queens, two bunk beds, and one sleeper sofa). I wanted to make certain that no girl in my troop was going home with a pet ... or pest, depending on how you view it. I had previously checked on bedbugregistry.com as well as all the other bedbug sites, and this one checked out with no reports on any site, and none in any reviews. There was not a single sign of any bedbug, so now it's time to bring the bags in. We left to go to Downtown Disney District, and returned around 9:00 or so to go to bed and get some sleep before starting out on VERY LOOOONNNNGGGG day ahead. Yeah, right, THAT wasn't going to happen. No sooner had the girls and I all settled in, when the neighbors above decided to arrive. They must have been professional bowlers or golfers because for almost an hour it sounded like they were either practicing bowling or putting. I was going to call the office and complain, but we were so tired, we eventually fell asleep. All was quiet Saturday and Sunday night, so nothing to report there. We were too dog tired to even notice if there was anything going on. ;) Monday morning and the bowlers or golfers were back at it, so sleep was gone at around 4:00 a.m. Again, no point in mentioning it to the office as we were checking out. The good about this hotel: it's bedbug free (at least in room 201), the staff is extremely friendly and courteous, it's budget friendly if you go through Travelocity or Trip Advisor, the expanded continental breakfast is good, and the parking is in a courtyard, so you really don't have to worry about your car too much. The bad about this hotel: $15/day for parking, you will need to run around in circles in the shower, the hot water was hit and miss on Monday morning - mostly miss, the potatoes at the breakfast are eh-eh, no insulation between floors. If you're a family or a large group, and you're looking for a place to crash for a few nights at Disneyland, this is a good (not great) place. If you absolutely NEED your sleep - go somewhere else.

« Nice, but takes advantage »

very nice, great hotel for large families, but it does take advantage. It is clean, and well kept. BUT it grossly inflates its rates and charges for parking when it has grossly insufficient parking. Employees should NOT take guest parking and during my stay non-handicap employees parked in handicap parking spaces. Employees at front desk are nice but houskeeping do not speak english

« Great budget spot for Disneyland Trip »

We chose this location due to them accommodating a room for five people. We were traveling with my parents and a small child so this room gave us plenty of space to spread out. Our room décor was dated but was clean and comfortable. It was nice having a door that separated the other side of the room that my parents stayed with the bunk beds and a pull out couch. The couch was very large and could accommodate two adults. The bathroom was located behind the door so it was little strange having to go back and forth between the two areas. The only cons of this room were the location on the second floor above the dining room which was very noisy throughout the morning breakfast hours. The walls in the room were also very thin and we could hear conversations from the room next door and kids jumping off the beds all night. The hotel had a great selection for their breakfast. They had healthy options as well as your normal sausage and eggs. They kept it constantly stocked through the breakfast hours which was nice coming towards the end of breakfast and not having to worry that everything was gone. The dining room is somewhat small but they offer a large patio seating outside. The breakfast would definitely be one of the reasons why I would stay again. The staff was also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Parking is expensive almost the same as Disneyland so I would suggest walking to Disneyland to save some money. It took us a little over twenty minutes but that was mainly due to the long traffic lights so it wasn't a terrible walk. There are shops along the way like a CVS and some souvenir shops. They also have some great restaurant choices close by.

    « Disappointed »

Walked into the room to find that it hadnt actually been cleaned properly. It still had that white soap stains next to the sink from the ppl before us. There was hair and a layer of dirt In the bath tub. And the worst part was it appeared that one of our beds was just remade and sheets not changed because there was a blood stain. on it when u pulled the comforter down. As someone who used to work in a hotel cleaning rooms I was very disappointed in how our room was half fast cleaned. We just cleaned it ourself and through all the bedding on the floor. The location of the hotel was great, and front desk was very helpful. They offered to let us trade rooms but by then my son was asleep and we had already cleaned the room.

« Clean and large room to accommodate 4 »

Please to have been placed in the corner suite away from the traffic. Internet service was very good and easy to access. Room clean and housekeeping very helpful when notifying that we left an item in our room after checkout. Breakfast was all right. Like the location to the convention center, Disneyland, restaurants and stores to purchase simple items.

    « Disneyland Vacation »

Family vacation for Disneyland. This place was a perfect staging area for our Disneyland trip. It was about a half mile from Disneyland and we were able to walk there no problem. You have to pay to park there about 20 bucks a day but......the breakfast that they serve offsets that cost. The breakfast is huge and perfect for picky kids. This is what ultimately sold us about this hotel. The staff was wonderful and the room was nice. We will be going back here again. The only downside was the pool was closed for renovation and we had to listen to our kids complain about not being able to swim but such is life.

    « Best stay »

Great customer service and so knowledgeble about the surround attactions! The staff was super friendly and the breakfast for always fresh and hot. I got my food at 630 in the morning and went back with the kids around 8 and it was still fresh and delicous.

« No Frills, just sleep »

Suite was a decent value for our family. The in room fridge was large (helpful). Bedding was missing for hideaway and took long time to get it. The staff was friendly, but getting the bedding when we had 4 tired kids wasn't a challenge we were looking forward to. Room should have been ready. It was a Suite.

    4
    « Good Experience! »

The hotel offered room choices that fit our family needs perfectly. We booked a two room and a family suite with bunk beds. Both were great options for our large group. The rooms were clean and the hotel offered free breakfast, Overall, a very good value for the price as compared to other hotels in the area, and located a reasonable proximity to Disneyland. Only downside is parking gets very full at night, so its hard to find a space if you are out late.

    « Disneyland »

Not a bad place to stay. I think it is what you would expect from a place a couple blocks away from Disneyland. The hotel is nice but it is mildly run down from all of the traffic that it receives from Disney patrons. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. Aside from the wear and tear the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Its definitely nice to have somewhere to eat before the disney price gouging begins. Haha. Parking is $15 a day which i think is a bit crazy. I don't feel you should be charged to park your vehicle. The disney lot is a block to the north so you can walk there and hop onto a bus which will take you to the park. We walked to the park one day and rode the bus another. Either option isn't a bad one. Overall I am not opposed to another stay at the Best Western Raffles. I stayed there because it was the best deal I found not because of some sort of brand loyalty. If I fine somewhere thats a better deal or comparable with free parking I would choose the other as long as the reviews stated it was clean and the staff is friendly. Hope this helps

We loved this hotel! Continental breakfast was awesome, rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the complimentary water and fruit in the lobby after a long day of walking. Swimming pool was not heated and it was too cold for March but there was a hot tub.

« Good size family suites close to Disneyland »

We stayed in a family suite which offered a great amount of space and had 2 bathrooms. We had a 2 bed suites which also had a couch bed and a bunk bed in the adjoining space. The online pics show hardwood, but we had carpet which I do not prefer. Breakfast was not very fresh and hot items were cold one morning, but we notified the management and they took care of it. Prepare for parking to be overcrowded. Overall it was a good value for the money for a larger family looking for a getaway.

« Anaheim stay for Cheer event »

Very good value for $$. Good breakfast, walking distance to convention ctr. Also close to Disney venues and restaurants. Room had all the basics and comfortable beds. Only negative was parking capacity vs room capacity, but I personally had no issues. One of the better Best Westerns I have stayed in.

    « Good value hotel »

Very good value, clean and lovely, helpful staff. Huge choice at breakfast, constantly restocked and kept hygienic. despite the number of customers! Great deal on accommodation but not the best on Disneyland tickets so go to the discount store down the road!!

    « Very surprised »

We stayed here for 3weeks and they were great.breakfast was a very good. And staff were great helpful top floor is the best as there is no noise it is a little far to Disneyland on hot days but for price was well worth it. But on the up side it's close to joes ice cream lol. I would stay here again for sure.pool and spa good.

« great value and awesome staff »

two room suite with fridge and microwave. extremely clean room and very supportive staff...from desk help to housekeeping. Its a family hotel...a bit noisy until bedtime and you can see the Disney fireworks from the parking lot!!! We were very very happy with our stay. We asked a lot of questions to a lot of different staff...and each one of them were very happy to help. Each interaction with staff left us feeling helped and happy.

« Great place to stay for a great price »

The hotel is about a mile from the gates of Disneyland. The room, pool & breakfast were great. The staff was professional, helpful and friendly. The suite for a family was so nice to have. The grounds and parking area were very clean and appealing.

« Near Disneyland with kids »

This is an excellent location to stay while visiting Disneyland with kids. The second bedroom is equipped with bunk beds. And, it is a short walk to a Disney Parking Lot where FREE shuttle service to the parks is available. The Hotel is quiet, clean, easily accessible. The Breakfast provided is average for a Best Western. The price is considerably less than at a Disney property. They sell tickets to Disneyland, but I got tickets for less at the Disney Box Office, So check prices first.

the wifi speed is slow, but the hotel location is good. the overall is great.there are many guests use the breakfast, so there is not enough seats for gusts, some of them pick some foods back to their rooms.the parking lot space is not enough, I need to drive to near the lobby, fortunately there is a nice guy to guide me to park my car.maybe this hotel has a good business,so it is almost full while my stay.cheers!!

    « family trip »

The rooms where fine except we were next to the utility room which was a bad experience, because of the amount of noise coming from the utility room and the traffic from the staff coming in and out and the door being slammed. Beds where to hard. Therefore I did not get much sleep and to top it all off my head and neck where sore.

    « Uneventful »

Staff was helpful and professional. The hotel is a little old and could use some refreshing but is at least clean, with the exception of the carpets (yikes). It was a good place to sleep between long days at Disneyland.

« Great place for families! »

The rooms were clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was great! Our family of 5 (with 3 teenagers!) fit comfortably in one of the suite rooms. The back room had a bunk bed and a sofa sleeper for the kids. The front room had a queen bed for the parents. Very close to Disneyland, you could walk, but there is also a ART bus stop right in front of the hotel. Hotel sells Disneyland and bus tickets. So easy!

    5
« Great value. Great service. Free Breakfast. »

We got a very good deal on a 2 bedroom suite through Hotels.Com. Could not have been more pleased. The entire staff were very courteous and helpful. Did not like having to pay $15 per night for parking but I guess that's pretty common in this area. Nice breakfast for the four of us more than offset the parking cost.

    3
    « Disneyland Trip!! »

Booked this hotel primarily because of the option of having a suite. Hotel itself was average, rooms were average. We had a room that had Kind bed and then a room divider which had bunks, sofa and a 2nd television. So good size to give parents and kids some space. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub. There was a problem with our room reservation when we arrived so they took care of the parking charge for us which I think is about $14 or $15/day. The service from the front desk was EXCELLENT. I wish I could remember his name because he was so helpful and considerate. The beds were comfortable enough but after walking for 12 hours per day, I think we could have slept anywhere. We drove the first day to Disneyland the first day. With all the traffic and people it probably took us close to 1/2 hr to finally get to the gates of Disneyland. Plus you have to pay $18/day at the park for parking. The next 2 days we walked. Its only about a 10-15 minute walk. I think there is a shuttle available from the hotel but it is not free... maybe $4-$5/person. Free Breakfast buffet open until 930 am. Waffles, pancakes, egg and sausage patties, breads and pasteries, fruit and yogurt. Average food but enough. Cons-I didn't feel the rooms were that clean and it was noisy.

    4
    « Conveniently located »

This hotel is conveniently located near Disney. Breakfast is included but parking is not(located in the fine print somewhere, $15/night) Rooms are clean and reasonably priced. Not far from many restaurants as well.

    3
    « Disneyland trip »

hotel was average hotel for the cost and amenities. Location to Disney was great esp with the local bus. I thought the cost of parking at $15 a day was expensive. The breakfast included was nothing special but the food was hot and plentiful. I would recommend it for others but would also be interested in what other hotels offer in the area.

    5
    « Great stay »

I loved being able to check out through the tv. The room was nice, close to the Disney parks, had $5 all day shuttles to the park. The staff was friendly and the price was very good for what you got. The people above us were a little noisy but that was not the fault of the hotel.

« Chose for convenience; happy I did. »

My wife & I decided to attend a conference so large that the first room I found within our budget was 9 miles away. Over the next week, I kept finding rooms until I saw this one just 2 blocks from the Anaheim Convention Center. I had never stayed at a Best Western but decided to try it because of the convenience and I'm very happy I did. Everything was about as perfect as could be. There was even lots of hot water and a strong shower spray. The room was large, clean, and there were even two bathroom sinks. The beds and pillows were excellent, and the breakfast included a large variety of foods, most of which were very good (except the cookie cutter scrambled eggs and the "original" oatmeal which was NOT original because it had some hideous sweetener added.) The coffee was decent and the milk was ice cold. :) All the staff we encountered were courteous and helpful and overall, it was a very good experience. We would definitely stay there again.

    3
« Make sure you are in a room away from laundry »

This hotel would have been fine but they put us in room 121 which was across from the commercial laundry. It ran from 8 am to 10 pm and the icemaker also made noise. I recommend the hotel for inexpensive lodging walking distance from the Anaheim Convention Center or Disneyland but stay away from rooms near the laundry.

    2
    « If you don't mind "dirty" »

I'm currently staying here with my family for spring break. The hotel is VERY run down, the carpets in the room are just gross. Parking is tight. They offer vending machines but no ATM. It just "feels dirty" Basic needs of a bed and a shower are met, but that covers it. The free breakfast does not offset the gross. I am not a hotel snob, I've stayed at them all, but I was just in Anaheim 4 weeks ago and I paid $20/night for the Hilton litterally across the street after doing some price shopping. It was a Night and day experience. I had the chance to book Hilton again but thought I'd save $60 bucks. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for. I'm here with 5 kids, we're keeping our shoes on.

« Just what we needed »

We stayed in a kids suite with bunkbeds perfect for a family of 6...perfect for our family and very close to Disneyland. The breakfast was good, room was small, but clean and perfect since we basically were just sleeping there. We had hot water and clean towels and bedding. The fridge and microwave were just right.

    3
« Nice, comfortable, good walk to Disneyland »

This hotel was very reasonable in price. We had a family suite with bunk beds, king bed and pull out sofa. The room was quite small. Once we unpacked the room was quite crowded for 3 adults and 2 children. We spent very little time in the room because we were at Disneyland. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast had decent variety and the staff was very friendly... The pool was FREEZING in February, although outside temps were 80+. All in all it was comfortable and affordable.

    5
    « Great stay, »

Great location, very close to Disney. Breakfast was more than expected. Rooms had nice flooring and were spacious. Stinks you have to pay for parking but I hear that's normal in the area. Several fast food options in the area.

    « Average place »

Decent room and moderate price but it smelled like cleaning fluids which is hard on those with a delicate respiratory track. Nice to have both a fridge and microwave. Average breakfast provided. There's a fitness room and it is walking distance to Disney parks.

    « Exceeded our expectations! »

We stayed for a few nights on a family vacation. We were very pleased with the family suite. Plenty of room for everyone. It was nice and clean. There was a light broken and a blow dryer not working, but we mentioned it to the staff when we left for the day and when we returned, it was all fixed and new. The staff were all very courteous and made sure we were comfortable and happy. We got rained out of Disneyland and came back soaked. The front desk staff offered us hot chocolate for our room so we could warm up. They were constantly cleaning outside. Very clean. We really liked the hot breakfast too. Nice variety and quality. Great to start the day full! We were impressed. Definitely would stay here again!

    5
« Kid Suite was Great. »

To start off all staff we met were great from front desk to valet and breakfast staff. Our family of 6 slept so comfortable in the Kid suite the beds were as if sleeping on clouds. The breakfast was wonderful, they have a big variety of items for everyone. Will for sure stay at this location again when we are in the area.

I will never stay here again. it smells and room service didn't come in the entire time I stayed but once during a 5 day stay. they overcharge you so look at your bill closely they had me on the 3rd floor and my husband uses a wheelchair so I requested a handicap friendly room to find out there isn't any.. beds are hard also. there are homeless people who like to hang out near the front of the building or near the ART shuttle. only good thing I seen was Disneyland's fireworks from my room

« Perfect for Disneyland trip »

From the moment we walked in to the lobby on our first day to the moment we pulled out of the parking lot on our last, everything was wonderful. The woman working the front desk was kind and took time to talk to us and get to know us. I mentioned that I used to work for Best Western and she gave me one of the pens their employees get, which made my day. The room was beautiful, well-appointed and clean. The housekeeping staff each day was kind and thorough, and left plenty of extra amenities when they saw how many of us were in the room. The valet in the parking lot was kind and funny. The pool was clean and sparkling, the breakfast area was spotless. The breakfast staff was very helpful, asking us if we were enjoying our stay and if there was anything they could get for us. The breakfast was delicious. When we bought tickets for the shuttle, the front desk attendant gave us a wonderful deal knowing the situation that brought us to California. The shuttle stop is right outside the hotel, which was convenient and saved us a ton of money and time. Overall it was a brilliant stay. As a hotel employee myself I couldn't have been more pleased with the stay in its entirety! Will definitely stay again on future trips!

« Perfect location for visiting Disneyland. Walk to Disney shuttle. »

Great overall value for the family visit to Disneyland. Be aware that 2BR rooms do have separate room with queen bed, chest, TV and a door to isolate from main room. HOWEVER, although door does provide some degree of privacy it is not a solid door ... more of a single French Door with a mesh curtain over the glass, kids can look through ... so not completely private, but still nice to have for the rate. Also, to be clear, only one bathroom ... it's not like two adjoining rooms and there is only one entry door from the outside which is into main hotel room, i.e. no exit from second BR to outside. The breakfast was more than satisfactory for us. Hot eggs, sausage, and potatoes along with waffles, cereal, doughnuts, muffins, bagels, fruit, yogurt, juices, coffee and milk. Yes had to pay for parking but you don't have to pay the $18 per day then at Disney parking. Parking did seem to be a challenge but let the Valet figure it out. The night we arrived, there were spots blocked off for anticipated bus arrival but in the morning we found our car parked almost right outside of our room and was easily available. No problems making use of parking. We were very happy with all aspects of our stay and would definitely return and stay again if we are going to Disneyland. Can buy Disneyland tickets at the desk. HIGHLY RECOMMEND walking to Disney "Toy Story" Parking Lot and taking the shuttle to the parks. In less than 20 minutes (half of it riding on the shuttle bus) we had walked from our room, ridden the shuttle and dropped off at the Park Entrance ... depends obviously on wait for shuttle but would have had to wait if paid to park at lot also. Simply turn right on Harbor Blvd as you leave the hotel. At the first light, which is really the entrance into the Toy Story parking lot, cross over and turn right and walk maybe 50 feet and take walkway (through long row of shrubs) into Toy Story Parking Lot. Follow the marked walkway to where the shuttles are waiting. When returning at night, like us, it might be confusing as to which way to head after getting off of the shuttles. Although this Best Western sign isn't visible, there are numerous other hotel signs that are lit up and visible (if we recall correctly, to the left as you exit shuttle bus or ask attendant which way to Harbor Blvd) ... walk in that direction as they are on Harbor Blvd .. so basically reverse your walk to the opening that leads from parking area to Harbor Blvd. Turn left at Harbor Blvd ... cross the entrance to parking lot and you'll be quickly back to hotel.

« Friendly and Professional Staff »

Enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located near a Disneyland parking lot, park (for $18) then the shuttle (bus) takes you to Disneyland about a mile away. Room was clean and staff was helpful, friendly, and professional.

« Best deal in area »

The area this hotel is in is extremely competitive between Disney and the convention center. Between pretty standard fare hotel breakfast and reasonable parking price it was definitely one of the best deals in the area. I experienced a couple of very minor flaws in my stay but overall as long as you can handle a couple imperfections (like having a power outlet fit a plug just a little loose) it is a very good place for the area and cost.

    « What a deal! »

Daughter got a great deal on a third party site, and we enjoyed 7 nights of comfort and closeness to Disneyland. Microwave and fridge for snacks; hot breakfast every morning with waffles and pancakes, sausage patty and egg round, beverages, toast, English muffins, other breakfast breads, cereals, and really good hot coffee. Spacious room, ample closet space, comfortable beds with lots of pillows, all made for a great vacation. The a/c was a little weird smelling until it got going but with temps in the 40s-60s, it was just to unstuff the room.

    « 2 Room Suite »

I booked on Priceline...name your own price. My price was approved. I saved almost 50%! I loved the room, one queen bed isolated in it's own room with a dresser and tv. Then the standard style hotel room with another queen bed and a fold out couch, microwave and refrigerator. Love the room great deal on price line!

« Nice budget hotel with friendly staff »

This is a nice clean budget hotel but the rooms are a bit on the small size for a family of 5 with teenage children. Would suit a younger family of 4 quite nicely. We got a 2 bedroom unit which was pretty much the same as 2 rooms but with only one bathroom. There was a bit a co-operation required with 2 older teenage daughters and a younger teenage son but it worked alright for the 3 night that we were there. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a reasonable walk to Disneyland (1 mile) but there is an ART bus which stops out the front for those that don't want to walk. There are plenty of reasonable restaurants reasonably close as well. Overall we enjoyed the stay as we were out all day and only returned to clean-up after a day at the parks and then fall into the comfortable beds.

    « Fulfilled its purpose »

Our purpose in staying here was to visit Disneyland. We wanted to be close, at a reasonable tariff, and get the maximum time to do spend there. This hotel is just a very short bus ride from Disneyland. The bus stop is right outside, buses run regularly, at a reasonable cost. The hotel itself has seen better days. It's looking very tired in decor, and in some areas needs a good makeover. The carpet in our room was quite grubby however the beds were comfortable and very clean. The room was serviced to a good standard. We were on the middle floor and there was some noise from above, below, and from people trundling past with their suitcases. We did NOT appreciate being woken from a deep sleep by a phone call at 1 am from office staff telling us to stop our noise! They had had a noise complaint from someone below us and office staff did not properly investigate where the noise was actually coming from. The unit next door to us was the noisy one. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles. Too many people trying to use the self serve area at once and a very small space for the numbers. However the food available catered for all tastes. However - the hardworking breakfast staff and office staff were so friendly, smiling and helpful! We appreciated their help.

So close to Disney walking distance . Big rooms , clean and perfect for the putting your head on a pillow and leaving all day for Disney we just stayed one night here until the house we were renting was ready but i have no complaints it was nice it's nothing to fancy or special but it's convenient and nicely staffed and it is clean and family friendly .

    « Great Value »

Hotel was clean and in a good location to Disneyland and Downtown Disney. Shuttle service was reliable and just an additional $5 per day. We stayed in the off season and the staff was very accommodating with parking, letting us leave our car for essentially two whole days and only charging us for one night. Can buy park tickets at the front desk too, which is very convenient. Would absolutely stay here again.

« we booked via getawaytoday, I was there last week, Left Jan 28, 2016 »

They have a pretty good hot breakfast buffet, where you can make your own sausage egg muffin sandwiches, pastries, skillet potatoes, juices, cereal, waffles. within walking distance to disney, or you can get an ARC bus pass and the pick up is at the hotel and it comes every 20 minutes. our wifi was free and there are laundry machines however it s only open from 8am to 10 pm, they have security. they have family suites up to 8 people with two bathrooms

    5
    « clean and roomy »

The rooms were clean, and nicely arranged for a larger group or family. Great place for a large family, they have inexpensive 2 room suites with a pull out sofa and queen bed in one room and a queen bed or bunk bed in the other room. There were plenty of towels and all linens smelled freshly laundered.

« Nothing flash, but all you need »

I would have given this hotel 4 out of 5, just because of the lovely, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and hardworking staff, but there are just too many things that let it down. The main thing that bugged me was the filthy carpet (our socks were black), and one patch of carpet in our room was actually threadbare. There are rooms in the ground floor where the carpet has been replaced with a wooden floor, I wish I had asked for one of those. (Although there may possibly be more noise with cars and car doors etc on the ground floor). And about the noise.....Constant suitcases, laundry trolleys and cleaning trolleys bumping along the tiled balcony walkway outside, and people moving around on the floor above. If you're not there during the day this wouldn't be a problem, but we came back for an afternoon rest and it was impossible to sleep. Bring some earplugs for daytime sleeps. On the good side: very comfortable beds, and good space in the family suites. [Although I wouldn't like to try and find room to open any more suitcases. We were a party of 5, and there was only just space for our suitcases to remain open - because of the layout, the small wardrobes and too much furniture. If they took the doors off the wardrobes this would have been a useable space, but as there are 2 narrow sliding doors, it is hard to access (and unless you're one of those people who unpack everything, make the wardrobes redundant!). The separate kids room was great to have, (and the family suites have 2 bathrooms) but this room was an internal room and there were no lights that you could easily leave on overnight. The basin lights are bright as day, and the bathroom lights are on the same switch as a fan which sounds like a jet plane. (Don't turn in the toilet/shower light in the middle of the night or you'll wake everyone up! If your kids don't like the dark, bring a small night light. Rooms were clean (apart from the carpet) and serviced daily. There was funny chemical smell upon entering the room, and we had to leave the door open to air it out. Also one of the good points, it is super easy to get to Disneyland Resort from this hotel. The ART bus stops almost right outside, and then it's only about 6-7 mins to Disneyland. Tickets are reasonably priced, especially if you get a concession, or 3 day pass, and the buses seem to come every 10 or 15 mins. You could walk the relatively short distance to Disneyland in about 15-20 mins, (but don't forget you'll be walking a looong way once you're inside!). Daily breakfast is okay, but the breakfast room is TINY for the size of the hotel. Expect a noisy bun fight. I would say overall, for the price, this hotel is very good value, but be aware that this is an older style hotel and if you can afford it, you may enjoy somewhere else.

« Good value hotel close to Disneyland »

We had 2 kids and 3 adults and had a 2 room suite that was excellent value. Great service, bus and shuttle stop right beside the property, very kid friendly, very courteous and helpful staff. Was just within walking distance to Disneyland. Denny's restaurant with lots of gluten free items was close by.

    « Excellent Stay »

This hotel had excellent, friendly staff. The family suite was perfect for our party of six. Having two bathrooms was great! the hot breakfast was good with lots of variety and staff kept it constantly well stocked. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

    « Okay but disappointed »

the parking fee of $15 not sure what this charge is for. You park your own car; limited parking. Afraid to leave the parking lot and come back to no parking. Not sure why; just an extra charge for nothing.

« Great place for families! »

My husband and I and our 4 kids ages 13, 12, 8 and 5 stayed here for our trip to Disneyland. We had the family suite with the bunk beds. Everything was super nice and functional. If you have light sleepers it's possible you will be disturbed during the night by the occasional noise of passersby or a car leaving since the front walls facing the parking lot seem very thin, but we had no problem with that. Also, this hotel is right around the corner from the Toy Story Parking Lot so that was very convenient. If we come back to Disneyland we will stay here again.

    « Very Nice »

Overall pleasant experience. Didn't know that parking was an extra $15 dollars a night, but the room rate we had was around 70 dollars so it wasn't that big of a deal. In walking distance of Disneyland so convenience was a big plus. Breakfast was AMAZING and worth it! All you can eat, made my own waffles and also egg and sausage mc muffin sandwich. So yummy! Room was a little compact but was cozy. The only thing that I had a problem with was the remote control for the TV; it only worked it you stood very close to it, like right in front of it.

« A nice Disney Vacation option, that is getting nicer »

The Best Western Plus Raffles Inn is a run-of-the-mill chain hotel located just south of the Toy Story parking lot (making it an great Disney Vacation hotel). The hotel has undergone / is in the process of undergoing renovations. The top floor, especially has seen renovations in the form of re-purposed rooms. Reducing the hotel's capacity, they've opted to convert every other room into a pair of kid suites for the adjoining room. Most area hotels have the capacity to house 4 people per room, but Raffles and their "family" suite can provide accommodations for 8, as the half-suite adds another bath and bedroom (containing 2 bunk beds and a hide-a-bed -pullout couch). Unfortunately, the rooms are definitely "mid-renovation" as interior doors were not plum and other fit / finish items needed attention. Further, the carpet was mildly damp (though it was unclear whether or not this was attributed to humidity / moisture in the air. This problem may soon be gone, as it appears that the carpets will be getting replaced with wood/wood-look floors. Many first-floor rooms had already been upgraded. Raffles Inn does offer hot breakfast, though the options do not appear to change (egg / sausage patties, potatoes, waffles, french toast sticks and pancakes, as well as continental options (cereal and pastries). As is a common problem in the area, the hotel was built on the perimeter of the lot, with the parking lot in the center. Unfortunately, the lot is small and parking is limited. Raffles offers an on-site Valet, who double-parks cars during periods of high demand (ie park-closings). This wasn't terribly inconvenient, as (if blocked in by a double parked car), it was only necessary to alert valet and they would temporarily move said car.

Staff less than helpful. Are guarantee early check in time was not available as promised. Front staff we unable to help because staff was at lunch! Laundry was taken from facility washer.... front staff didn't want to help locate it because they have never experienced this issue before. Lock on laundry room door was not working.

« Good location for Disney »

This hotel was not bad. There was nothing special about the room. The beds were comfortable. The furniture was banged up and the microwave fridge stand was rickety. The fridge fan cycled very loudly and had to be unplugged to sleep. The bathroom was adequate and provided a decent shower. The towels were ALL left at the vanity so you had to remember to take a towel into the bathroom with you which was odd. Also, the vanity area was very tight with very little room between it and the closet. The biggest issue were the tenants above us who sounded like a herd of elephants. The front desk was very unresponsive and didn't seem to care when we asked repeatedly for a resolution. The parking lot is hard to find spots in and they do valet parking. The morning breakfast is not bad but poorly laid out for the traffic through there. The pool was fine but the hot tub chemicals must have been off because it left our skin itchy. You can walk a block and a half to catch the Disney parking lot shuttle to the parks thus avoiding the cost of the local shuttle or Disney parking costs. Overall, the hotel was fine and provided a decent rate, comfortable beds and breakfast. If you are looking for more you may want to look somewhere else.

« Not bad, I have seen better BW hotels. »

The reception was ok, the room is outdated, breakfast ok. I have been at BW hotels and they have been much nicer. They are not that cheap so this hotel should either lower prices or up the accommodations because being close to Disneyland is the onky thing that gets them business. I have stayed at 4 star hotels for less than the rate i paid here. Not for a single traveler or couples. It best for families with lots of kids to see the value. My review is on quality of the establishment and not the value

« Inexpensive with excellent service in a convenient location »

We were able to walk to Disneyland Resort from this hotel very easily - about 1 mile walk. Rooms are comfortable, clean, organized, and simple. Front desk staff went out of their way to make sure we had all the information we needed in order to maximize our time at the Disneyland Resort. Beware of the $15 parking fee, which can be irritating when you also have to pay for parking at the parks. Also, if you are in the hotel before Disney fireworks go off, be prepared to assume you are being attacked! Ha!! Very loud fireworks at night!

« Convenient Hotel for a Family visiting Disneyland »

If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel for the family, and will be at Disneyland most of the day, Raffles is quite suitable. It is a 20 min walk to Disney, but there is an excellent shuttle service for which tickets can be purchased at Reception. THe rooms are dated, but clean and comfortable. Staff are very helpful. We had a 2 bedroom suite consisting of a normal sized motel room containing queen bed and queen sofa bed + bathroom and separate twin vanity and then a separate bedroom off to the side with a queen bed and 2nd TV . The continental part of the included breakfast was good (cereal, yoghurt, waffles, toast, Danish, fruit, etc) but the three hot dishes (egg patties, beef patties, diced baked potatoes) are not very appealing. Space in the breakfast room can be limiting at times, but you can take your food to an outside area or to your room. The only nrgative we had was that the room cleaning staff did not get to our room until about 5.00pm, just as we would arrive exhausted after 8 hectic hours at Disney.

« Perfect family place to take our grandkids »

We stayed with our grandkids in the family suite . It was nice having the two rooms. Clean and comfortable. Maids took extra care to make beds and place teddy bears in a welcoming way when we got back. The breakfast room was EXTREMELY WELL MAINTAINED and the staff was the most friendly caring staff especially good with the kids. Thank you ! We felt safe and secure . The only negative was the lot was being paved and made parking difficult so they used a valet service to pack cars into the small area available.. Valet service was difficult as we did not want to leave keys for insurance reasons, but in the end they accommodated a spot for us which did not require them to keep the keys.About 15 minutes from Disney by foot. Driving to Disney rerouted us to a parking garage about a block from the hotel and we were shuttled. Since shuttles are available I would recommend just getting a shuttle from the hotel.

    5
« Close to disney parking! »

While you do have to pay 15/night, which I think should just be part of your hotel fees, the fact that you can walk to the Disney parking lot and save money is wonderful. I also enjoy that Target is not too far away for those last minute purchases you missed. The employees are super helpful and the facilities are well maintained.

« Great price, just OK property »

Pros: Price, price, price. Family suite (1 queen, twin over twin bunk bed and a queen sofa bed) offered adequate sleeping arrangements for our large family. Within walking distance of the Woody Toy Story parking lot and Disneyland shuttle or ART shuttle available (main gate would be too far of a walk, at least for younger kids, especially after a long day at Disneyland.) The hotel staff was consistently friendly, courteous and helpful. Cons: This is definitely a lower end older property that has undergone a modest remodel. The breakfast was adequate but a little lower quality than other BW plus properties we've stayed at in the past. While our room was otherwise clean and housekeeping did a great job each day, we discovered a large patch of black mold on the light fixture grid above the sink. We reported it to the front desk staff and they offered to have it fixed immediately, but the kids were asleep and we asked them to fix it the next day. When we returned from a long day at Disneyland, the mold was still there and we asked again for the grid to be removed. A maintenance staff member immediately removed the grid and the following day a clean grid was installed in its place. No in-room safe. Overall: I'm not sure that we would stay here again. It was just OK. Although it was nice to find a budget friendly family suite option near Disneyland, I think we'll likely explore other family suite properties in the area next time.

    5
« Excellent hotel for the price »

If you are looking for 5-star deluxe, continue on...this is not it. But then again, you are also not paying $500+ a night. BUT, this is a very nice place to stay on a budget and it's not only clean, but safe.

    2
    « Very disappointed »

Housekeeping was not very good, had to call the front desk for supplies constantly. The rooms are very dated. We got stuck in a corner room with no windows to the outside and right beside the laundry room. Felt like a dungeon. The front desk staff during the day was helpful, however mostly had to deal with less helpful night staff for all the issues.

    3
« Nice hotel but over priced »

Stayed two nights in Dec. 15. Room was ok but needed some new fixtures. Beds were nice and slept well until all the cars started honking horns early in the morning for some reason. Walls are thin so you will hear everything and the rate was rather high. Breakfast was good with eggs, sausage and waffles plus other stuff. Not too disappointed at stay but will look elsewhere for next Disneyland overnighter.

« Great hotel that offers kid suites! »

We have been coming to this hotel for many years, bringing K9 Jet along with us. Cruz is our go to person: we call and book with her directly. They have been remodeling the rooms over the last couple of years as well, and they are super nice. The best part is, they have kid suites, some even have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. This is must for families that have larger families!

    « Good Stay! »

We grabbed a last minute deal here in July and were unsure of what it would be like due to some reviews. We were greeted by Marcy and she warmly welcomed us. The room was quite spacious for a family of 5, offering an extra room which was a bonus! The hotel is very close to Disneyland. Great breakfast. I would certainly recommend this place. I'd again like to thank Marcy for her kindness and helpfulness. Her welcome made our stay even more inviting.

    « Affordable for Locals »

Very good hotel for your 1-2 night stay if you are a SoCal local not wanting to drive home after your all-day Disneyland visit. The hotel is within a reasonable walking distance from the park. Comfy beds, decent breakfast, and great staff. No complaints!

« Ok but would not come back »

If you're main issue is staying close to Disneyland for a low price, this hotel will provide you with close proximity to the resort and the price is very competitive. However, their free breakfast left much to the imagination. Plus, our room remote control didn't work. The ice machine next to our room on the 1st floor barely worked. Lastly, maid service was not good. I got the impression all they do is make the beds and replace the towels. Everything else, you're on your own to clean up. I will stay in the same location next time we visit Disneyland but we will not stay at this hotel again.

    « Best Western Plus »

The motel was farther from Disneyland than expected, the bathroom wasn't that clean and the a/c did not work. Other than those three things it was great. Friendly, accomodatiing staff, good sleep. Could have used a shuttle but good value for what we needed. Family suite was perfect.

    5
« Rare Find for a Large Family »

We are a family of 6, two parents and 4 kids. Finding accomodations that will accept all of us (without us having to lie about how many kids we have) is often a challenge. We simply can not afford to rent two seperate rooms, plus that deems weird since family vacations are meant to be for the whole family to enjoy together. So we were delighted to find this one. It is a 3 story Motel style not technically a walk up (there is one elevator but we didn't use it because it didn't make sense from where we were). Our suite was large, The main room included a living room area with a pull out double couch, a king size bed and a kitchenette (Mini fridge, microwave and sink). The additional bedroom included a queen sized bed and a sink. There was only one bathroom though and the toilet did get plugged but the maintenance guy came and fixed it quickly. It was clean and updated to the Disney Affiliate standards. The breakfast was amazing! You might expect a continental breakfast with fruitloops, raisin bran, milk, orange juice and bad coffee, well this place had all of that plus eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, donuts, muffins and more! The front desk customer service was great too. Plus they had complimentary fruit and ice water all the time. There were two copmputers in the lobby to use along with complimentary printer. The free wifi in the rooms actually worked well. It wasn't really a good walking distance to the Disney park entrance and there isn't an in house shuttle so you have to call Uber or ART, however we did find a good work around. It is very close to the parking lot so we walked into the parking lot and hopped on a free disney shuttle that took us right up to the entrance. We did the same coming back as well. The downside was the pool. It was small and cold. I think what made the pool even more disappointing was the fact that from our suite's window we had a clear view of the people at the Hilton next door enjoying the large warm pool that I'm sure they paid a pretty penny to have the use of. We were there in November but it was not heated. Apparently there is a fitness room, but who uses those? I walked a hundred miles in Disney everyday! I still give this a full five dot thingy rating because it exceeded my expectations with the breakfast for sure and the ability to accomodate a large family.

    4
    « Nice Area »

We stayed here during a trip to Disneyland. The room was clean and comfortable. The rooms are away from the busy road, so we never heard the traffic. The breakfast had a good variety to choose from. The hotel is a short walk to the Toy Story Car Park. It is too far to walk to Disneyland from the hotel, but there is also a bus service that you can use.

    4
« Great value, clean and comfortable »

Great place to stay-- we wanted clean, comfortable, close to Disney (not planning to spend a lot of time in the hotel). Heated pool and hot tub, decent breakfast. A bit far to walk (at the end of the day) but doable. They charge $15 for parking/day and shuttle costs extra.

« Above average, would stay again »

We go to Disneyland yearly and this is the first time we selected this property. Our decision was based on price, proximity, and last-minute availability, as we only booked 1.5 weeks in advance. Before I say anymore, I will say that we would stay here again. My pros and cons for this hotel would be as follows: Pros: ------- 1) The front-desk staff was very good. Very friendly, offering help, and providing some good tips for us in terms of getting to-from Disneyland. This was a big plus, as we've noticed some hotels in the Anaheim area seemed to get bugged by visitors and treat you almost like cattle (we've found Homewood Suites to be like this often). 2) We wanted a room that had two bathrooms but they were all rented out, so we got a room that held six people with one bathroom. It was supposed to be two queens, but we ended up getting one king and one queen. It had a separate room with the queen bed and additional vanity, which we were unaware of previously, which was very convenient. 3) For the age of the hotel, it was a relatively well maintained property. 4) The room had wood floors throughout, which we felt was a real plus as it can be cleaned so much easier, and the cleanliness doesn't concern me like carpet sometimes does at hotels. Cons: ------- 1) Although the room was clean, it probably could have been cleaner. We found a lollipop stick (with a little bit left on it) near one of the beds, and a few hairs here and there. The room service attendants also didn't do the best job every day to clean up the room, such as leaving covers off of beds and otherwise. In saying this, I've seen far worse. 2) There is construction going on next door at the new Homewood Suites, and the construction can go late into the night and start early the next morning, and it can be a little noisy. The hotel looks like it is close to completion, so maybe this won't be a problem much longer. Neutral: ---------- 1) It is close to Disneyland at .8 miles away, but it's sort of in "no man's land" in my opinion, as it is almost too far to walk and not quite close enough to be a comfortable walk. We walked everyday, and each morning it was easy, but it seemed a lot further each night when we were tired. 2) The breakfast is good, better than some other places we have stayed, such as the Cortona, but not quite as good as others such as Homewood Suites. The eating area is also a little small, and I imagine it could be cramped during the busy season. They also seemed to run out of a few things quickly, such as bananas.

    « Great Disneyland hotel! »

Stayed 7 nights here, in the bunk bed room. Rooms are ok. Could use updating. They are clean though! Breakfast & the breakfast staff are both great! There isn't the bed sound barriers...we could hear the neighbours closing their doors (people seemed to come & go all hours of the night). We could hear people walking outside past our door. There is an outdoor pool but it's not heated and is pretty cold. Hotel itself is close enough to Disneyland to walk. There was plenty of parking while we were there...they also offer valet parking too. We felt safe in the hotel, and in the neighbourhood.

« Good except for things breaking »

Overall the room was fine. However, the morning of the checkout they had to shut down the water to the entire hotel to try to fix a boiler that was stopping people from getting hot water. I know things break but I have to question things when water to the entire hotel had to be turned off. Makes me wonder if the maintenance/repair processes need some work. Also, I tested express checkout the morning I was leaving and it worked fine but when I actually went to check out it was broken so I had to go to the office to check out. On a bright side everything else was fine and the breakfast was above par for being at a hotel.

    « Very Good! »

Enjoyed our stay! Loved that my family had two rooms and two tv's! Breakfast is ok, but I understand I can not always get what I want/like. Not far from the parks, bus transportation very handy! Would recommend.

    « Disneyland »

Just completed a stay at Best Western Raffles Inn. Stayed 5 days 4 nights during October. I have a family of 5 with 3 kids. I picked this hotel due to the bunk beds, which means every kid had a bed, and having a hot breakfast every morning so we get a good start for Disneyland. The hotel was very clean. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were super. In room internet was never slow and TV channels were plenty. The pool was clean and the hot tub worked perfectly. Towels were provided at pool which is a nice touch. The only problem , which is a big problem is the hot breakfast. Too say it was putrid is an insult to the word. On the in room literature it show bacon and eggs. I was there 4 mornings and there was nary a piece of bacon to be found. There was stale doughnuts that seemed to come out of a box. Danishes also tasted the same. The milk for the cereal came out of a pitcher not the milk machine which obviously was not working. It tasted like creamer or it was halfway curdled. The pancakes were rubbery and were a shade of yellow that pancakes shouldn't be. They had sausage patties and egg patties that combined with English muffins they had so you could make your own sausage egg mcmuffin. Potatoes were cold and unevenly cooked. It was a poor attempt to add breakfast to the hotel experience. The only reason I'm going on about breakfast is with 5 people hitting Disneyland all day, breakfast is important to get my kids off to good start. I feel that the hotel thought they needed to add breakfast to their marquee to get families to stay but they failed miserably in execution. Too bad since the hotel is nice in other areas. If breakfast is not important to your stay than by all means its more than adequate. If u have a family and u want a good hearty breakfast before going to Disneyland please find a better place too stay.

    « 20 mins walk from Disneyland »

Having to find a good/inexpensive hotel for 11 people is quite hard. My hubby found this inn, two rooms, fits about 6 people each. Not bad...about 300 a room? a night? Let's start with the cons while they are fresh in my mind... Beds- strange set up...one room had the bed right at the front by the door...the other room had the sofa bed air conditioning- one room had two, one in front and in the back bed room. one room only had one in front! So the back room got stuffy Noise- thin walls, you can hear people stomping down the stairs and what not. bathroom- one to share among 6...you'd hope for one more but I guess that's not cost effecient. Toiletries- Oh the shampoo and conditioner sucks butt, yes its not "brand named" but the conditioner did CRAP for me, I had to go out and buy one asap Pros-....well I guess it's close enough to disneyland to walk, a bit of a walk, luckily it wasn't TOO hot when we went so it was ok. We walked at least 3 times, so an hour of exercise a day! WHOO! I guess that's it? The beds are okay comfy, staff was fairly nice...oh the free breakfast is okay, nothing amazing... I'd prefer to stay somewhere a little more private...even though it was a room for 6...there is barely any privacy...to change...etc. But yea

« Great place to stay near Disneyland for families »

We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Raffles. The id suite room was not fancy but it fit all of our needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One thing we figured out on our own is the bus shuttle run for Disney was literally right down the road, it is called the Jesse Lot", and we were able to walk into the parking lot and get on the bus to go to Disneyland. It made it so much easier getting back and forth. But we really did enjoy our stay at the motel

I stayed here in September 2015 with my mom and 2.5 year old daughter. The front desk staff upon arival where very nice, they upgraded us from a two queen bed room to a kids suite which was great. The room was clean and quite it fit our needs q lot better then the room we had booked. The only two things that would have made it better would be a wall separating the bathroom from the kids room, with a sleeping toddler you didn't want to turn on any lights so you had to do everything in the dark to get ready for bed and having the ladder to the top bunk every time I turned around my daughter was trying to climb it and she fell off once (didn't hurt herself just dangled from the top until I could get there). The breakfast was good had the waffle every morning rest was your average quick hotel breakfast food. The pool eas nice to have but could have use a good cleaning. It was within walking distance to Disneyland in the morning but after walking around the park all day you wouldn't want to walk back. Overall the stay was great and I would go back.

Stayed at the Raffles while visiting Disneyland with our family. We had a great experience. We enjoyed the friendly staff, easy parking, and just a great location walking distance from Disneyland. The hot shower and comfortable bed and pillows after spending 16 hours at the resort completely revitalized us for the next day.

    « Perfect place for a family »

This hotel had great rooms for a family or larger group. Having 2 bathrooms was very nice addition. Main room had 2 queen beds and the second room had bunk beds and a sofa couch. Both rooms had tv's and their own bathroom.

« OCD Mom approves of this hotel »

If you are looking for a clean, budget hotel that has rooms that will fit a family of 5+ in one room and is fairly close to Disneyland - this is your place! I'm an OCD nut and was excited to see this hotel had hardwood floors. I typically go into hotel rooms and re-clean them. You can't clean nasty, old carpet, but you can clean hardwoods! My daughter is a severe asthmatic and old carpet where pets have stayed or someone has smoked at one time or another makes for a nightmare in a small, hotel room. We were initially put into a room on the 2nd floor with very old carpet that looked horribly stained. The furniture was beat to hell and the room was not inviting. You could tell it was one of their rooms that they had not updated. I was under the impression all the rooms had been updated when we booked. So - I went and talked to Sandy at the front desk and asked if we could be switched to a room with hardwoods. She was so helpful and make it work. I was relieved on many levels! We were put in room 137 right next to the lobby/office on the first floor. We never heard anyone upstairs and the room was great! We had a Family Suite, which contained a room with a king bed, a bathroom in the middle and then a kids room with bunkbeds and a full size pullout couch. As a family of 5, this configuration worked out wonderfully - everyone had their own bed. The king bed room was separated with a door. I only wish the bathroom was technically attached to our room and separated from the kids room. There was plenty of room to put clothes away in drawers, there is a small closet in the kids room, both rooms had their own air conditioner and there was a fan (white noise!) that went between both bedrooms. The bathroom had a smallish vanity on one side of the room and the other side of the room had a tiny bathroom with a tub and toilet. The door to this bathroom drove me bonkers, as it was huge compared to the small bathroom. It opened into the bathroom and was hard to maneuver around. A pocket door would be way more ideal for that small space. The hotel was super generous with extra pillows, towels, blankets, which was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable! My Husband loves a super hard bed and I like a medium/soft bed. This is the first hotel bed that we slept in that we both liked and didn't wake up with aching backs. The kids slept great too! The breakfast was great and we ate there everyday to save money overall. We'd load the kids up and head over to Disney and take extra snacks with us. Breakfast started at 6:30 and ended at 9:30. We happened to go during a heatwave (100+ degrees in October!), so would leave Disney around 2:00 and head back to the hotel to swim and nap and then head back after the sun went down. The pool is small, but fun for our kiddos ages 7-9. There were quite a few people in it during the times we went, but only because it was so hot! The family style restaurants close by are Denny's (about a block away), IHOP (about 2 blocks away) and Carl's Jr (was just over 2 blocks away). My husband grabbed a 24 pack of water from AM/PM (next to Carl's Jr) for $3.99 and we threw them in the freezer and refrigerator and took them to Disney. We also bought a few snacks liked boiled eggs, etc. We brought one of our kids lunch boxes and freezer pack and brought cold snacks like cheese sticks, eggs, etc., in a backpack. The walk to Disney is about 15 minutes straight down Harbor. Their blocks are huge compared to most cities. You can take the shuttle that comes straight in front of the hotel for $5 per person all day or walk a block away and take the Toy Story shuttle for free. On average, it would take us 5 minutes to get onto the Toy Story bus. The Toy Story Bus parks right up front to the Disney entrance, which is great after a long day at Disney. The ride to our parking lot was just a few minutes. We would walk anywhere from 10-11 miles per day at Disney, so catching a ride on the bus was welcomed. Earl of Sandwich is a cheap and amazing restaurant located in downtown Disney. We ate there for lunch each day. They have healthy and delicious sandwiches, salads, soups and baked goods. The food tastes like heaven after eating at places like IHOP. You can also sign up for coupons there. It's a bit of a walk, but worth the money you save. We would try and get there around 11:15/11:30 to beat the lunch crowd. That is true for an restaurant around Disney. I hear parking at the hotel is $15 a day. We chose not to rent a car for this trip...just seemed like an expensive hassle. We didn't end up needing it. There's a Target down the street that I took a taxi to one day. It was $5 there and back. We used Limos.com to book a car that could fit us all from LAX. It was worth it to not have to share a shuttle. We got right to our hotel. Overall - that option was cheaper than renting a car and paying for parking at hotel and Disney. When we checked out, our bill was accurate and all the staff had been nothing short of amazing! I can't recommend this hotel enough! Great/Fantastic for families with 3+ kiddos!

« Best Western Raffles Inn and Suites »

We really enjoyed it here. The place was very clean, staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast was great to have to start the day. We had a room with beds in the back, and it was difficult to keep that area cool enough, while the front of the room stayed a bit cold. Over-all, this place was great and I would highly recommend it. Also if you go out of the hotel, walk down the street half a block, you can walk up to the Disney parking lot and catch a bus for free. This saved a ton on parking and shuttle.

    « Moderate Hotel. »

The hotel itself is presentable and you get what you pay for. The staff were amazing could not fault them at all. Maybe the place itself needs to be revamped or freshened up. The office at everything u need in planning a excursion or transfers and the staff were helpful with suggesting tours and organising transfers.

« Lower quality, but they make up for it with hospitality »

This hotel is right on Harbor Blvd, with a 5 minutes shuttle to Disneyland. The extra room with bunk beds and a pull-out was nice for the kids. The bathrooms seem old and run-down, but the customer service was the best of the 3 hotels we stayed at durring our California trip. I would definately stay here again!

    « Close to Disneyland »

We stayed in their family suite, which is really 1 1/2 hotel rooms. One room had two queen beds and the half room had bunk beds and a sofa bed. The room was clean. There was plenty of hot water. We walked half a block to the Disneyland parking lot and caught the bus into Disney for free. The free breakfast got us going in the morning. Ordered great Chinese food that was delivered to the room.

« Great Family Suite! Good price! Walking Distance to Disneyland! »

Stayed in their 2 bedroom family suite for a weekend in Disneyland. The room was clean and spacious. There was 9 of us and still had an extra bed. With 2 babies, we had enough space in the room for 2 strollers. Both bathrooms had dual sinks and were very clean, lots of space to put clothes away. The room comes with a microwave and mini fridge and a small table with chairs and 2 coffee makers, very convenient to keep snacks in your room for the kids. Disneyland is about 2 1/2 blocks (long blocks) but still within walking distance. Not that big of a selection in the breakfast but it is included. Parking fee is $15 per car and they do allow you to park early in the morning before your check-in time so that you don't have to pay double at the park and the hotel. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because Check-out time is early at 10 a.m. and they are strict about that. Everything else is great.

    « Old »

This place is old and needs updating! Only chose to stay at this location because my two favorites were sold out. Musty smelly a/c units. Breakfast not worth walking to. At least the old carpet had been replaced with fake wood flooring and you could tell housekeeping put in alot of effort to make it clean.

« beware of additional fees »

I loved the breakfast, the pool and the room. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety to choose from. The waffles were fantastic. I enjoyed the pool, which was warm. The hot tub was relaxing after walking all day in Disneyland, which was within walking distance, if you're in shape! The room was comfortable. I was dismayed at the additional and unexpected fees at check-out, parking was an additional $15 Per Day.

    « my stay »

The hotel was only a mile and a half from Disney land. The price was =very reasonable compared to the one across the street from the park. There is a shuttle in front of the hotel that one can ride for $5 a day but I found out that if I walked one block up the street towards Disney land I could go into the Toy Story parking lot and ride the Disney Land bus for free. Save me about $30 a day with the family. The staff and the rooms are very comfortable but the parking is stress full. They have a valet 24 hrs to help move cars. This was a very nice hotel and I would recommend it to my friends. Best price I found compared to one for $250 across from the park but they will only let you park one car at those hotels.

why charge for parking, when you charge for a room. friendly staff, I had no problem with that. the beds were ok. not comfortable, the windows were a weirdly configured to pen, and they have an outdated AC system.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. It was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was nice. And they helped us when our reservation was incorrect. The staff was also helpful when our key would not work when we came back late from disneyland park.

« Good stop over for Disneyland »

Stayed here for a single night as part of a road trip - the room was clean, spacious and quiet, and only a few minutes away from access to Disneyland. Breakfast was a simple buffet style, but enjoyable nonetheless. Had to pay for parking, but otherwise a good hotel.

    « Pick another hotel »

The breakfast was horrible! Rooms need to be upgraded and painted. If you book a room through a non hotel site, they won't let you use your points. TRUST ME go to another hotel. The rate for parking is 15 dollars per day, good luck finding a space in the small parking lot. The air in our main room was cold, and in the other room in was hot. The only positive aspect of my stay at this hotel was the location, it was close to the tournament we attended. I've stayed at other locations, the breakfast quality was terrible and the dining area was compact. The rate was expensive for the quslity of room and service
