    « Fight night 2 »

We traveled to Albuquerque for another one of my son's fights. I contacted Anita personally about needing a room for this event. She booked everything for me, even put a note in that we were arriving late. We get to the hotel and the front desk agent, Yvonne greeted us with kindness. The entire staff was friendly. We were able to have the free breakfast this time. Pleasantly shocked at the quality of the food. A wonderful variety of different things to eat. From biscuits and gravy to waffles. The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed, and the coffee was perfect. Anita truly understands the meaning of hospitality. We will definitely be returning here. In fact I think this is home away from home for us The best value in Albuquerque.

« First time in Albuquerque »

This was the first time at this hotel. I am a loyal BestWestern . The room was clean and had a newer large screen TV. A bit dated with the decor. The fitness center was good. The breakfast was good but not kept stocked. Overall a good value for the price.

« Great location for travel »

This Hotel is minutes from the airport yet quiet and easy to get to. Perfect for a day or two to discover the town, very near the university and Rt.66. Breakfast was abundant, coffee a little weak, but room coffee nice with ceramic mug.

    « Excellent »

I love this hotel. The breakfast is really good and the beds are really comfortable. The staff is really friendly every time I go to stay there. My kids love the pool and hot tub. It is always so clean.

« Another pleasant stay in Albuquerque »

I like staying at the Best Western Inn and Suites. The location is convenient, and the price is always good. Most of the time, it the least expensive of the three Best Westerns in Albuquerque, which makes it even better.

    « Always a pleasure »

This hotel in Albuquerque, NM is a great place to stay when on the road. Snacks available at check in 5:30-6:30 PM. Pleasant staff and large rooms. Great breakfast menu. Close to the Interstate and Airport.

« POOL NOT HEATED, Staff failed to address the issue »

We live in Albuquerque and the main reason that we picked this hotel was because of the HEATED pool since hotel staff indicated that it was heated all year around. Hotel staff provided wrong information about the HEATED pool. We called the hotel before checking in, to inquire about the pool and the staff again confirmed that the pool was heated. Once the kids got to the pool they realized that it was extremely cold and not heated. None of the guests were utilizing the pool since it was extremely cold. We talked to the front desk and they said they were going to contact maintenance. Obviously since it was 3pm we knew that it would probably take 24 hours to heat up the water. The following morning after breakfast we checked the pools water temperature and the water was the same. Our kids were bummed out and disappointed. In the room we found a cobwebs in the top corner of the window curtains by the A/C heater unit. We took a picture of the cobwebs. There are many other hotels in the area where staff have provided accurate information while making the reservation. We like staying at Best Western hotels but will not be staying at this hotel again.

« A regular stop for us because it's always great! »

Thanks for another great stay, Best Western! We travel through the southwest a couple times a year and this has become one of our favorite hotels to stay in. Great amenities and value. We've stayed a couple times now in the Carlsbad Innsuite, which not only has two queen beds, but a ton of extra floor space and a pull-out love seat. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. The fitness center is well-equipped, but our hands-down favorite part is the breakfast. The fact that they serve it til 10 am even on week days is a huge plus, because we have late nights and early mornings are tough. But we always make it a point to get up for the great spread at this property - eggs, hash browns, sausage, biscuits and gravy! Plus all the typical pastries, yogurt, cereal, etc., and great coffee and creamer options. The breakfast alone is worth the stay! Thanks again and we'll be back!!

« Good place to stay »

We received great accommodations from this BW with a warm welcome starting from the driver that picked us up at the airport and the desk person when we checked in. The breakfast staff people were very pleasant and helpful.

« Moving Mom across the country »

It was really nice we were conviently located down the hall from the breakfast room which was a buffet. It was pretty decent, not too bad. Hot breakfast, a fairly big selection of food and drink. They even had two different types of waffles, fruit to put on top and whip cream in a fridge. Parking was free, beds were comfortable, showers were good. Room was very clean and we felt safe in the area. The staff were very nice and helpful.

    « Quality and Value »

Stayed a couple of nights and found this location quiet, clean and comfortable. This older property has been remodeled to combine two standard rooms into suites so there was two vanities and two baths! It was one of the lowest price accommodations we used on our cross-the-west trip.

    « Great Surprise »

As I travel back and forth across the United States several times per year I am always looking for good dog friendly hotels. Typically I use BW Chain but not always..however this BW was a GREAT find...concerned as it was listed as an airport hotel. No problem! The hotel was two minutes from the highway near several other airport hotels,... this is a new hotel, well styled, clean, almost all rooms are suites...and two very open community areas plus a much better than average hotel breakfast. As an added plus juts two blocks down the street is an outstanding small brewery -377 named for Air Force unit at airport...and it is within easy walking or driving - plenty of parking and DOG FRIENDLY. Only downside is there isn't a variety of good eating options in the immediate area....this is a 9+ out of 10 hotel. Probably the top one or two BW;s I have stayed in -in years. Note: The front desk clerk offered to help cary the bags to the room - Wow.

    « vacation »

Tail end of our vacation to New Mexico. We were very impressed how friendly and happy everyone was. You felt like you were visiting old friends! Very comfortable rooms, for people who have trouble with stairs you will want to ask to be on the first floor, there are no elevators. Multiple computers in the lobby for people to use, shuttle service to the airport. They will even pick you up from car rental if you want drop your car off earl. Give them as A+

« Birthday surprise for my husband »

Usually come here to get on an early plane out, but this time, I took the husband to dinner and we spent a wonderful evening in Albuquerque. I love the new breakfast room and the outdoor seating area. It was a warm October weekend so it could be used. The staff is always great, with smiling faces who greet us.

« Great Place To Stay »

On returning from some amazing music gigs in California,I stayed at the Best Western in Albuquerque last night. This is the second time I've stayed there and it was just as good as the first. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast was very good with many choices. The location couldn't be any better and everything I needed was very close. The next time I come through Albuquerque, this is where I will definitely stay again. I couldn't be more pleased!

    5
« Great price and location »

We stay here before morning flights out of Albuquerque. I love the size of the rooms and the quality is amazing for the price. The rooms are always clean and have an upscale feel to them. I like the rooms on the first floor since they are very easy to get to.

    5
« Best Western - Good as Always »

BW (Best Western) is always a great place to stay when you are going to fly back home and need a night to freshen up. We washed off the dust, packed up our clothes and gear, printed our boarding passes, arranged the BW airport shuttle for 4:30 AM and walked 100 feet to supper at the local 24/7 restaurant. Knowing what to expect and getting it is a good thing. Oh, and the staff was extra courteous. Regards, OldeBear

    « Nov 1, 2016 »

Exceptional! The staff at BEST WESTERN Airport Albuquerque InnSuites Hotel & Suites went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. This is our second visit with them and look forward seeing them all again on our return trip.

    « Great one-nighter in ABQ »

Literally one minute from the airport, a comfortable hotel with excellent shuttle service. The lack of elevators is compensated for by strong staff willing to carry suitcases. Good hot breakfast and low rates under $90. Great place to catch early flights.

    4
« best value in Albuquerque »

I stay at the Best Western Inn on Yale every time I have to catch an early morning plane and I haven't every found any better value for my money than this one. A lot of the rooms have been redone lately and they are spacious, clean and comfortable, the coffee is good and the Internet is fast.

    « Vacation »

I've stayed at this place last year liked the second floor facing the street with balcony the only problem is they do not have an elevator so if u have an elderly person would have to climb the stairs. We had a room in the back room was big, clean, we had to ask for a room with frig & micro breakfast was good! The guy at the counter wasn't too friendly. The only problem is the parking in back isn't great! Other than that it was ok. Probably next year I'll book somewhere else stayed two days. I love new mexixo but I'll just vacation in Taos from now on.

    4
« Always feel safe and comfortable »

I have stayed at this facility several times in the past and have always felt comfortable and very safe. The Staff is attentive, caring and professional. I have, on previous occasions, stayed with my cocker spaniel and was impressed with how well we both were treated.

    5
« Main Building Was Excellent Experience »

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past couple of years. Every time I have stayed in the Main Building, it was and excellent experience overall. However, the Executive Suites out back are a much lower quality. I would suggest staying in the main building.

    5
« Great Hotel Close to the Albuquerque Airport »

Great staff, easy check-in and out. The airport is really two minutes away. We were able to leave our car at the hotel while we were gone and took the shuttle to and from the airport. The drivers arrived on time and loaded our luggage! Clean lobby and room, nice outside area.

    4
« Perfect for arriving and departing Albuquerque Airport »

I stayed for one night on my arrival in Albuquerque in December and after travelling some 5,000 miles over 20 hours, this hotel provided absolutely the right level of comfort for me to recover before continuing my trip in /new Mexico. I had been so impressed that I booked the same hotel, even the same room on the evening of my departure and despite being accompanied on this occasion, two separate sleeping areas allowed me to get the rest I needed before another 20 hour journey. The room/suite was very comfortable and the breakfast, although nothing special. was a good start to both mornings I was there.

    5
    « Best Western Inn »

We had a great experience staying at the Best Western InnSuites in Albuquerque. Everyone was very helpful and courteous. The room was excellent, quiet and had everything we needed. The social hour was nice and the full breakfast was fantastic. We would certainly return to stay here again. Loved the "Old Town"!!

    4
« Best Western Airport Albuquerque »

I stayed at this motel in October, 2016. It is conveniently located about one mile from the airport. I called the motel when I got off the plane, and they sent a shuttle to pick me up just about five minutes after my phone call. The motel is clean and quiet, and I paid about sixty dollars for my room, which is pretty reasonable these days. The Village Inn, a good place for breakfast, is immediately adjacent to the motel, with easy walking distance. I was also able to take a shuttle directly from the motel into downtown Albuquerque, where I took the Rail Runner, a commuter train to Santa Fe, for nine dollars.

    2
« Great staff, strong odours »

The staff at the Best Western ABQ airport were great. The shuttle driver was friendly and very helpful. The room (executive building) had a very strong odour of cleaning products. This ruined the whole stay, although it was only a few hours. Will not stay here again.

    5
    « Excellent Stay! »

We chose this BW due to its proximity to the airport. We stayed at it when arriving in Albuquerque and will again stay there when we are to leave to go home. The staff was very nice. The breakfast had a very varied selection of items and was very good! The BW also offered a free happy hour with snacks, cookies, and water and pop. Very nice.

    5
    « Consistent »

Each return visit reveals further renovation and improvements. Especially near to airport(5 minute ride in available shuttle)Staff is approachable and eager to assist guests. Breakfast staff is restocking items frequently and keep the space spotless. They should receive more "guest appreciation"(tip jar on counter)

« Ideal for early morning flight »

We booked a king suite which was actually two rooms with French doors. One room had king bed, tv, sink, closet. The other room included bath, outside sink, sofa, desk, chair and ottoman, and second tv. Everything was very clean. There is NO elevator although the staff offered to carry up our luggage. Instead we were upgraded to a jacuzzi suite on the first floor. Hot breakfast was plentiful and hot. Lobby was small but neat. One straight road to airport less than a mile.

    4
    « Amazing Breakfast »

Very convenient to the airport with free shuttle. Staff was friendly. Breakfast left little to be desired. Hot and cold selections with staff ensuring everything was kept full and looking great. Wifi was ok. Would definitely stay here again.

    3
« Tired and worn, but decent service and wonderful breakfast »

This was my second stay here and I must admit, that my first stay was in a much less worn room, so I have to think they are in process of upgrading. This stay I was upgraded to a suite which could have been lovely if it had been in better shape. The important part, the beds, were perfect and comfortable as most Best Western hotels are, however there was some super sticky stuff in front of the refrigerator that badly needed cleaning as just walking by you'd get stuck. Ewwwww. The additional suite room, that was for sitting really needed an update. The furniture was old and worn as well as the decor in general. This was not an expensive motel and quite reasonable near the airport with great shuttle service. I was not unhappy, but did note that in general this place needs a great deal of sprucing.

    2
    « Poor service »

Desk clerk was very surly about early checking. He definitely had an attitude and was not helpful at all. The only thing he said was checking was at 3 o clock. It was after check out and I am sure a room could have been made ready earlier. Room staff were not working on rooms, but in lunch area even tho it was 12:30. When we got back after trying to waste time the clerk was upset because I said something about the room staff wasting time and the airport shuttle blocking the entry for cars. So he refused to register us. We went to a very nice and friendly Comfort Inn.

    5
    « Excellent Value »

The complimentary breakfast is very good with lots of choices. The breakfast attendant was most helpful even suggesting ingenious waffle combinations! This hotel is very well located off of Interstate 25 which makes it a convenient stop over on a longer trip. Great staff! Be sure to request a room on the first floor since ther is not an elevator

    1
« One of the Worst Experiences at Best Western I have ever had »

Front Desk clerk rude and acted like it was an imposition to wait on me for a late check in because we had to fix our car for the trip. Feces in the toilet, fridge off and full of water and oh well have a discount or move rooms. NOT a good BW Experience based on prior stays

    5
    « Awesome Staff »

The staff is wonderful and we love this motel. We have stayed here for Balloon Fiesta since 2008. We love hanging out in the courtyard, very peaceful and enjoy relaxing in the hot tub. Our room is like a 2nd home for us and we have come to know the staff like family.

    5
« Best Western Albuquerque Airport »

This BW Hotel was conveniently located to airport and car rental return. And the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. We returned our rental car the night before, to not have to deal with a AM return the next morning---and were immediately picked up upon returning the car, then transported the following morning at 4:30AM for our 6:15AM flight out of Albuquerque. I could not have been more pleased with this booking!

    4
« GREAT PRICE, GOOD HOTEL »

This hotel was a good value. We thought the price was excellent; and the full, hot breakfast is at the upper end of its class. While the hotel is right next to the airport, we did not hear any airplanes. The mattresses could be better. Although our room was non-smoking, the smell of smoke from the hallway crept into ur room when the door was opened.

    5
« Best staff ever encountered »

The entire staff of this hotel went out of their way to help me when I became stranded in Albequeque due to a hurricane. They provided shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and back again, great breakfasts, afternoon snack and early check in because I was so fatigued. Best staff of any hotel I have ever stayed in, for any price.

  • 5
« Close to the airport »

Have stayed here on previous trips, and the proximity to the airport is excellent. The beds are comfy and the breakfast buffet is hot with a great variety of selections. You can even get a to go breakfast if you are leaving before the buffet starts. The only problem I could see with the hotel is there is no elevator. They only have 2 floors, but if you have problems with stairs or carrying your luggage yourself, make sure you ask for a first floor room.

    3
« Good Location, Bad Smells »

While the hotel is in a good location to reach the airport and to downtown, our room in the "executive" building reeked of smoke and some kind of powdery fragrance. The whole building smelled bad. The price was reasonable so we put up with the smells, but I would not do so again. The lobby in the main building smelled fine.

    4
« a good friendly place to stay »

This suite hotel is a favorite with the Balloon Fiesta pilots for it two room suites. The hotel offers a complimentary hot breakfast, and a gathering offering of complimentary beverages around 5:00 PM each day. The public areas have recently been upgraded with a nice eating and meeting room. Several Tvs broadcast the news and weather in the lobby and multiple computers are available for guest use. Make sure to say hi to Virginia the general manager.

    4
« Convenient place to stay »

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean, and nice TV. Good restaurants nearby include Chili's and Applebee's, as well as others. This hotel had an excellent full, hot breakfast, and also fruit and yogurt.

    3
« Good value during the Balloon Fiesta »

We chose this hotel while we were staying in Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta. Not a large hotel, which was nice, but not a bad deal for the money. It does NOT have elevators, so if you have a lot of luggage like we did (camera equipment), try and make sure you request a 1st room floor. Our room had a slight odor to it, still have yet to determine what it was, but appeared to be associated with the ventilation system. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, and it's nice having a restaurant in the parking lot during bus times such as the Fiesta. My fiancée slept fine in the bed the whole time we were there (4 nights), but my lower back began hurting a bit by the 3rd day - however, that could have been from the bed or just the fact that we spent many hours on our feet.

    3
« Tired, but very nice staff »

This is a much older hotel and when we arrived the room we had requested had been given away. The manager was standing close by and he could see that I was upset, after calling the day before to request an upper floor with a king bed. So he arranged for us to be in the Presidential Suite, which was extremely thoughtful and kind of him. It was located at the far end of the bottom floor by an outside door near the back parking lot so it was convenient to bring in our suitcases from there. The suite was a living room with a couch and TV with a separate full bath. The bedroom had a Jacuzzi tub and sink. The carpet was seemed old as was the worn wood in the rooms and baths. It was located near an Appleby's and some other restaurants. A good breakfast was included but all in all it appeared to be a very dated motel.

    5
« Surprising Comfort and Value »

We booked this hotel during Balloon Fiesta and were shocked at the low rate, because all other hotels were at least twice the normal rate. The suite was large, the bed was comfortable, the A/C worked great, and the room was clean. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of hot entrees. We were there to check out our scuba dive gear and were extremely pleased to find the swimming pool was a very comfortable temperature and the hot tub was clean and warm. We will definitely be back here again.

    5
« Recntly Remodeled- Now even better »

I have stayed here on several occasions. Staff is friendly and helpful and they have even remodeled to add space and a full breakfast room. I didn't think a hotel could be so clean- but with the remodel things are brand-new- Great place to stay- if you chose another place you are missing out on this gem of a place to stay.

    4
    « Nice Stopover »

Stayed at this Best Western on the way back from a vacation in Santa Fe. Very convenient to the airport. Very nice desk personnel and shuttle van driver. The room was well equipped and clean. Nice common areas. Enjoyed the stay.

    5
« Great location and great breakfast »

The location to the airport is excellent, easy in and out and close to I-40 and I-25, within 50 miles of Santa Fe. The room was great and breakfast one of the best, hot and good choices, the employees were very helpful in directions to down town and other various sites within the area

  • 5
    « Yup! »

Always a great stay. This is my second time here in a year. The place was remodeled even though it didn't need it in the first place, but it looks amazing. The lobby, fitness center, and breakfast area looks so nice now. There's cold bottled water in the gym too. I love staying here in Albuquerque, NM!

    4
    « Wouldn't hesistate to stay again »

The staff was friendly, helpful and the room was clean, spacious, quiet. We skipped the breakfast that was offered only because we slept in and wanted to go to the Waffle House (we don't have waffle houses in Maine.) Don't hesitate to stay here. Also thought prices were reasonable. Thank you to the staff for a great night sleep.

    1
« Despite the price, this was still not worth it »

First, the website booked me for two room when I only booked one. The attendant said he could not guarantee I would not be charged for two (I am still checking my credit card bill). Then the room smelled VERY strongly of cigarette smoke, to the point that it was uncomfortable to be in the room. This was supposed to be a non-smoking room. I had to listen to the toilet run the entire night because it was broken. Then the lock to the patio door did not work, even though someone from the outside could easily get into the room. Then next morning I told the attendant these problems and she clearly did not care. Spend a little extra money and stay elsewhere. I could have slept better in my car.

    4
    « Good management »

I stayed there in January. The manager has bbq nights.Well run and very hospitable. They even have an airport shuttle.Ive stayed here 3 different times and will continue to take my business here .Comes with a full breakfast

    4
« Nice place with Breakfast and checkout issues »

The hotel was gorgeous! Rooms squeaky clean and very nicely decorated. Everything worked well and the bed was comfy! However, when we went down to breakfast the room was tiny and crowded, and the eggs and bacon containers were empty. We waited for awhile and then ate some other things, but for the entire 1/2 hour we were there nobody refilled the empty eggs and bacon containers. The sweet rolls and muffins were stale and we threw 2 away. On check out, there was nobody at the desk for 20 minutes. The phone rang off the hook and we finally just threw our card keys on the desk and left. There were other people waiting at the desk to check out, as well. Maybe the staffing was an issue in both the food and desk areas. I did love the room, however.

    3
    « Lots of walking »

Room was on second floor, no elevator and not too close to parking area. Room was large but dated. Huge free breakfast was included. Staff very helpful-carried up bags. Very close to airport which was why I chose it. No nice places to eat within walking distance, sorry to say. Price was very reasonable

    4
« Great sleep, great price, great location »

was passing through ABQ and needed a pet friendly hotel to catch a few winks. I compared a few other properties in this area and while many of the prices were comparable, their pet fee was one of the lowest but their excellent customer service sealed the deal. This hotel offered an excellent property and a great price. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the location and layout of the property provided a very quiet nights rest.

    5
    « Wonderful »

Very nice hotel.bkfsthad good selection with spacious dining area. Comfy beds and very clean. We were upgraded to a suite for no extra charge as the only room left on first floor was a previous smoking room. Small pool but had nice sitting area outside. Would definitely stay here again

    4
    « Short Family Visit »

We traveled to Albuquerque to make a short visit (two days) to see our grandchildren. Our stay was enjoyable and the room was good. No problems and the free breakfast was as advertised. The only noted was the afternoon and evening desk staff was, in our opinion, aggravating and constantly complaining about customers when they was not present. Everything else was as advertised.

    5
    « Great Stay. »

Best Western is our usual choice when traveling. Our trip was great and we received excellent service from the hotel staff. I loved the Gravy over eggs and hash browns. We were helped in locating the historical sites and the routes which we needed to get there. They were pretty knowledgeable with the different tours that we offered and the departure points.

  • 3
« Wouldn't stay here if traveling alone »

We were given a room in the Executive building. I don't know if the rooms in this building are better or worse than in the main building, but there was an overpowering smell in the hallway and rooms. The rooms appear to be clean, however I found some surfaces in the bathroom to be sticky. Overall, the furnishings and grounds had the feel of a budget motel even though it is a hotel. Simple, plain furnishings and amenities with free wi-fi. Continental breakfast is the usual simple set up. The parking lot is dark and there are signs everywhere that valuables should not be left in the car. There is a Village Inn restaurant (pretty good) alongside the hotel, but nothing else around, nor does the area look safe for walking around at night.

    4
    « Met expectations »

Our son lives in Albuquerque and every time we visit him, this is where we stay. Convenient to the airport, car rental return lot, shopping, UNM campus and golf! The staff have been very helpful each time and the rooms have met our expectations. Highly recommend this property to all who visit Albuquerque on business or pleasure. The value is there for sure!!

    5
« One of the best »

Didn't have reservations and tired of driving, we stopped at best Western for the night. I decided to try this old hotel based on the current reviews and the price; $85.00. We were pleasantly surprised with the upgrades; coffee, fridge, nice large TV and room was very clean. The hotel had an afternoon snack from 5 to 6pm and breakfast 7 to 10am. The staff at this hotel was friendly and very accommodating.

Asked for quiet area and got it, excellent variety at breakfast and friendly staff, convenient to AP and hospital complex, no excessive airplane noise, Waffle House and Village Inn restaurants very close.

    « Great experience »

We had business at the ABQ airport at the beginning of our trip and the location of this BW hotel was perfect. We stayed for 2 night for pleasure in ABQ. The hotel had a great hot breakfast and evening snacks. The rooms were clean and the hotel cares about the environment. They use LED light bulbs and less plastic bags. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Victoria and her staff are wonderful hosts. We have had the pleasure of working with this property for a couple of years now and are very pleased with the overall hospitality, location, and room comfort. Thanks for all you do!

great location for stay prior to flying out in the morning since the airport is about 1/2 mi away and rental car center is about 5 min drive. Stayed at this hotel many times since it is clean and staff friendly with plenty of eateries close by. they have a manager's social in the evening in the breakfast area.

We had neglected to make a reservation; however, Lori O at the front desk made us feel welcomed and put us in our usual presidential suite. She helped us find the best discount we were entitled to and made sure we remembered the times for breakfast. She was thorough and pleasant. On our trips between Phoenix and Denver - and back- we have come to depend on the hospitality at this BW. On this trip, we were surprised to find a new breakfast room set up: quite an improvement over the lobby area previously used. Super! And the

    « Loved it! »

This is a well located and QUIET place to stay. Some great staff! Gracie and Shaylene were both well informed and so very nice! We just completed a 10 day trip, most of our stays were with a Best Western. This location had the best eggs and hash browns! Very nice new breakfast area and lobby. We will stay here again. We never noticed any airport noise in our room.

    « Top notch! »

I can't say enough about my great experience at Beat Western Albuquerque! With a location so close to interstate access, air travel, and plenty of restaurants, what is most notable is how insulated and relaxed this property is from the hustle and bustle surrounding it. The courtyard area with pool and hot tub provided the feeling of a casual retreat though I was there on business. The large king room was comfortable and felt much like a studio apartment rather than your average hotel room. Furthermore the staff, from desk clerktos to grounds keepers, were friendly and helpful and the entire property was kept to an immaculate standard. This hotel was perfect and I am happy to recommend it for anyone passing through ABQ.

« Great place to stay! »

I just got back from a trip to Albuquerque, and needed a hotel close by the airport. For $79, I got: -A clean bedroom with a big screen television that supplied plenty of channels, a wonderfully working air condition system, and truly, one one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in...with lovely feeling linens. -A very clean bathroom with soaps, shampoo and lotions that were great. -A working fridge, microwave and supplies for making coffee. -Easy access to a computer and printer. -Close to places to eat (within walking distance). -A free breakfast (that I didn't try, but, smelled wonderful). -Free airport shuttles running every 30 minutes (only took 5 minutes to get there), starting at 4:30am. -Wonderfully friendly and pleasing staff, with a special shout-out to Front Office Manager Tim Martinez!

« Good location for catching an early flight the next day. »

Staff got mixed up about our reservation. they confused with me with my brother in Florida, just because he stays at Best Westerns when he travels. Nice pool and nice breakfast. The room was comfortable, clean and we had a good night's sleep. No place to walk to nearby for dinner.

« New staff and renovations »

Extensive updating at this older site. New staff are settling in and may relate more easily with experience at the front desk. The breakfast continues to be very good and plentiful. That staff keeps close watch on refills and cleanups. Site remains quiet and clean and very near to airport. Popular place always.

« Check your bed linen for cleanliness at this hotel! »

It's an old hotel building but conveniently located. So far I've never been disappointed with a Best Western hotel so decided to stay here for an overnight stop on a cross-country roadtrip. I was mightily surprised to find blood spot(s) on the cover of one of the 2 large pillows! From a previous guest perhaps...so I scrutinized the other pillow covers too. The 2nd large pillow cover seemed unclean as well with pen markings. The rest of the bed linen looked clean so i just set aside the unclean pillows. Disappointed with this experience, I wasn't looking for dirty linen but just happened to notice the spots. This seems to be an isolated experience- I've always found BW hotels to be spot on clean. But who wants to actively check for clean bed linen? At least not at a best Western property.

« Praise for a Great Hotel: Best WEstern Airport »

I stay at this hotel every time I am in Albuquerque and have never been disappointed! All of the staff work hard to make one's stay every pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast is very good and coffee is always available. I love the updating of the lobby and the breakfast room Happy hour is very good.

« Great value! Great find! »

Great place to stay near the airport! The staff couldn't be more helpful or nicer! What a treat! They weren't able to pick us up from our off site car rental, but they provided us with needed information regarding cost of a cab. We were going beyond their 5 mile limit. Our flight departed too early, so we unfortunately couldn't sample the breakfast.

We had to book this hotel at the last minute because of unforeseen circumstances on our vacation. This was a wonderful hotel. The staff was friendly and breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

    « Great value »

We only had one night here, but it was a great value for our last night of a two week vacation. We had an early flight the next morning, and we were close to the airport. However, the hotel has great insulation and we weren't disturbed by the usual airport noise.

« Not far from ABQ »

When I got my luggage, I called the hotel to ask for the shuttle and went out to wait for it. It arrived about 10 minutes later. I was surprised by how long it took to get to the hotel. As the crow flies, I thought it was only 1/2 a mile from the airport, but the shuttle seemed to travel about 2 miles. Maybe it was just jet lag that colored my perception. The exterior of the hotel is nothing special. The Village Inn restaurant shares the parking lot with the hotel. The Waffle House is just down the street. Check in was quick. I had my room key in a couple of minutes. I got a second floor room. I didn't see an elevator, so I just grabbed my bags and walked up the stairs in the lobby. The room was clean and much better than I expected for the price. There was a microwave, mini-fridge, LCD TV, desk and office chair. Continental breakfast in the hotel is complimentary. The breakfast bar held the typical items, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, cereal, muffins, waffles, etc.

« Good place to stay »

Overall was a good place. Good location. A little older bit adequately kept up.Could use a little work but with the little work this place could be a gem. Breakfast was good and if you are there a day or two it is adequate. More then two days and a little more variety would be good.

We stayed here this past weekend and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely courteous. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed was heaven. We had a great experience here. We just walked in and got a great room at a good value. Breakfast was good. Room and bed very comfortable. The room was clean, quiet and had good wi-fi. Good location close to everything. Courteous and polite staff. Would highly recommend.

« Clean room, good price »

This hotel was clean, bed comfortable, and hot, free breakfast was provided. After a 2 week camping road trip, it was downright heavenly. Yes, it's a bit dated decor wise, but the linens, beds, shower, ect were fine. Very comfortable, easy check-in, quiet, would return.

    4
    « Roomy and clean »

Unlike many of the reviewers, I was very surprised at the size of the suite and how clean the room was. I was a little concerned about the closeness of the airport because of noise, but never heard a plane. For us this is a convenient location to get to downtown for business.

    3
    « Poor Recent Experience »

We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past 2 years and in the past have been satisfied with our stay, but this time we had several problems that served to make this most recent experience negative. First, we were staying in the Executive Suites in the back, and the chemical/carpet cleaner/pesticide odor was horrific in both the hallways and permeating the room. Second, the room was not clean. There was hair in the bathroom that was not ours, there were stains on the bed cover and ruffles, one of the towels appeared to have been previously used. There were several other issues with things not working correctly. The remote battery needed to be replaced, which took about 1-1/2 hours because a battery was not readily available, the closet door was stuck, and the toilet needed multiple flushes to get everything down.

    2
« No elevator, smoky smell, no fitness center, censored Internet »

I chose this hotel for it's proximity to the airport for my early AM flight. When I arrived I was given a room on the second floor. I took my bags down the hall to when I assumed the elevator would be. When I didn't find it I was told there was no elevator. I travel weekly for work and stay in hotels across the country about 42 weeks a year. This is the first time I have encountered this. When I did make my way to my room, the hallways reeked of cigarette smoke. The room was clean and comfortable except for the toilet that ran every couple of minutes I asked about the fitness center and it was being worked on so I went for a run through the surrounding neighborhood. When I got back to the room to relax I turned on my laptop and started to browse the Internet. Many of the sites that I tried to reach were blocked as "adult", or just "in accordance with company policies". I have never stayed in a hotel that censored Internet content. Even the Best Western that I had stayed in the previous night in Guymon, Oklahoma didn't do this so this was an individual management decision and not a Best Western policy. Everything else about this hotel was pretty much average so, with several other hotels in the immediate area with comparable pricing, the deficits cited make it so I cannot recommend this hotel.

    2
    « Needs Updating »

I was not a fan of this hotel. It desperately needs to be updated. The carpet in the room was frayed and the room just felt old and dingy. The room is really tiny too. Even the hallways made me feel like I was in the 70's. Maybe the upgraded rooms are better. I stayed two nights but would recommend that you only stay here for one night. It is close to the airport so it's good if you have an early flight. I would use it as a "night before flight" hotel. On a positive note, the hotel is quiet and the price is quite reasonable. The front desk staff are super nice.

    4
    « Super value »

Loved everything about this modestly priced hotel, especially the upgrade. Good breakfast, good linens, comfortable bed, quality TV with my movie and HBO channels included. A reliable, well run property in a good location ...easy to go to town, return car rental and airport .

    « Nice location, would return .. »

It was clean and nice. Convenient to the highway and very quiet. I would certainly stay here again on my next trip to Albuquerque. The front desk person was quiet but efficient. There were restaurants nearby for dinner and the hotel's breakfast was very good.

« Great Location Near the Airport and Old Town »

We were worried about airport noise when we booked this hotel, but much to our surprise, it was quiet. The kingsize bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent...scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles with every topping imaginable, fresh fruit, hot and cold cereals, etc. Shaylene, who took care of the breakfast room, did an excellent job keeping it clean and well stocked. In the afternoon there were nachos and free soda, and in the evening they served delicious white chocolate chip cookies that tasted homemade. The location made it easy to get to the airport in the morning, but it was close enough to Old Town to spend some time shopping or catching a bite eat, even if your time in Albuquerque was limited. The price is unbeatable! I don't think we have ever stayed in a hotel as nice as this for such a reasonable price.

« Stay there again and again! »

The Best Western Airport Albuquerque is the only place I will stay in Albuquerque. It is usually a business stay, but sometimes I have family members with me. The value is tops, and it is updated, comfortable, and reliable. New breakfast space is really good too! My check-in last week was the fastest I have ever had a check-in ever, anywhere!

« Good Value, Nice Room but...... »

The front desk person needs a LOT of training. My problems started when I requested an airport pickup. The front desk person ( who seems to be the operator and front desk greeter and problem solver) gave me a min-max pick up time of from 10 to 15 minutes. I called her 15 minutes after the max time and she said she would look into it. 10 minutes later, after not having heard from her again, she informed me that the driver had to make a pick up and was running late. All in all I waited an extra 35 minutes more than the max time given. I called this same person to let her know that my TV was not working. I had a couple of error messages when trying to select and play a channel. She asked me what the messages said and I told her. She said that there was nothing that could be done because thunder storm activity in the area was interfering with reception (it was a satellite system). This happened two more times over 3 hours. Finally I went to bed and, sure enough, upon rising at 4am the tv was not working. When I went downstairs to check out, I noticed that the lobby tv was working fine. I told the night person about my interaction and she said she would inform maintenance, that it was clearly a problem specific to my room. What a pain in the *** I would never return.

    « Rustic, Social, Clean! »

I had a very enjoyable stay at this Best Western. It has a Rustic, Southwestern feel, which when you're traveling through that area is very welcome. The pool and spa area are clean and designed with plenty of shade, I had a very enjoyable swim and lounge in the hot-tub. On to the room: The bed was solid: Comfy matress, clean, well-kept rooms, and even a good night mint or two. Front Desk Attendant was helpful and accommodating. I arrived a little early before check-in and they let me in no problem. I know that's not a huge thing but it goes a long way, and hotels don't always extend that courtesy. The breakfast the next day was pretty impressive for a free hot breakfast. Sausage, bacon, waffles, eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit and sausage gravy. Additionally, cereal, juice and bagels. I'm not a huge breakfast guy in general, but this spread was extensive and better than a lot I've seen. A few small issues: When I arrived in my room there was no hand soap, no big deal, someone just probably forgot. I went outside and there was a cleaning cart easily accessible so I just grabbed what I needed. Also, in the pool area they had run of towels, which also wasn't a huge deal because it was around 100 degrees so after one lap around the pool in the sun I was dried off anyway. Also, unfortunately I'm unable to comment on the fitness center because it was under construction during my stay. Overall, solid hotel, clean rooms, good service. The breakfast is quality, and there's a social hour! Free nachos and sodas! I would definitely recommend this place, and would gladly stay here again.

« Pleasant and Uneventful Stay »

Room was exactly what we expected, clean and comfortable. Professional and courteous staff. We had an uneventful stay, we arrived late afternoon and were gone again early the next day. Breakfast was as expected too. We stayed at 6 Best Westerns on our trip through the southwest and this one had no events either great nor terrible.

    « A good place for a great stay »

This hotel is always accommodating, (I have stayed here before), and is close to all I need. There are restaurants close by, also, and close to where I was working. It is a great value for the dollars spent. It is quiet, also, even though, very close to the airport.

    « Great except »

The facility is dated but nest and clean. Parking very good. Easy access to airport and rental car site. The reception staff were pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable about the area and provided printed directions to a new restaurant. The except is the hotel is two stories and lacks an elevator. No problem if you are fully mobile, young and/or without heavy luggage. Luckily I got a first floor room which I thought was a great room. Requested a first floor room on my return visit the following weekend. Was told they would try rom available when I checked in. Bottom line: great facility IF second floor location without elevator is not a problem.

« Clean, Comfortable and Safe. »

The Best Western is fantastic. When i first walked into my room i was pleasantly surprised at how big the room was. I had been in the car all day and i'm not a person who travels light, so it was really nice to just spread out. There was an outdoor pool and a hot breakfast that i missed out on, but i'll be sure to check out on my next visit to Albuquerque. Inside the room there was a fridge, a microwave, big flat screen tv, great a/c, king sized bed. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, I got a great nights sleep and was able to hit the road the next morning feeling refreshed. The three things I always look for is: is this hotel clean, comfortable and safe? This hotel is above and beyond and i recommend it to anyone.

    « Enjoyable facility »

The facility was very clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Afternoon snacks and drinks (soda and water) were a nice touch! The bed was very comfortable; the room was surprisingly quiet for being so close to the airport. The facility offers a free airport shuttle every 30 minutes, this was helpful. The shower was great! Easy to figure out how to use and nice water flow. The breakfast buffet was good, had plenty of variety and was plentiful. A great stay!

We stay frequently at this hotel due to its' quality and the rest that we enjoy while staying here. The breakfast room was recently upgraded and remodeled. It is quite comfortable and large enough to acommidate the many people who stay here. Plenty of parking close by the rooms. Outdoor pool and jaz.

    « Nice stay »

First of all, allow me to say the staff was outstanding. From making my reservation to transportation to and from the airport, the staff was efficient and more than gracious. The hotel is very close to the airport which is a real plus for early morning flights. The room had a small refrigerator and microwave, the room was very clean and well maintained. There was a generous breakfast and evening snack. When doors are being closed in the hall, you do hear them and I could hear the people above me walking around. The noise could be a bit annoying. But then I was there on a weekend so I should expect more people - more noise. It could be overlooked by the great staff and location to the airport. Thank Best Western

Very nice room. Staff were most pleasant, and the grounds are peaceful and beautiful. Could not have been happier. We will stay here again! Breakfast was good too! Located within 5 minutes of UNM Hospital which is why we stayed here. I am a smoker, and finding places to stay in Albuquerque that allow smoking is getting harder and harder. This Hotel is very accommodating. Parking is very close to rooms.

    « Excellant »

I want to express my deepest appreciation to a member of your maintness staff by the name of JOSE. He unselfishly helped me beyond what his job description required. He was kind, giving, and got my vehicle started after it wouldn't start the morning that I had to go to the VA for a medical appointment. He spent over 2 or 3 hours, went to the auto parts store for me and replaced my battery and a starter wire which if not I would have been stranded out there over 450 miles away from home. I cannot express my graditutude to Jose for his kindness and understanting the stress I was under when my vehicle failed to start. Also my graditude to the manager there for being so kind and understanding the stress and concern I was under when this happened to me. I will always say kind things about this hotel, and especially to JOSE, and your manager. THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH1

« Many other options...customer service is lacking as is structure »

Thought I would try this BW after spending the previous night at another BW. Made an error in my reservation, front desk was not willing to make an easy transition to fix the dates. Suggested I call central reservations, they were astonished with my request as the front desk, I guess The definition of customer service varies. After wasting my time I just paid the 25.00 difference. The structure of this hotel is old, not fixed. Stains from leaks on the ceiling, toilet tank moves, colors are mismatched so it was repaired improperly. Furnishings are newer but with the cracks on walks and noise from neighbors and hallway, better options for lodging are available. The tables in the breakfast area were dirty and sticky, I asked the attendant to clean her reply " hold on." The service from this BW establishment is consistently poor.

I recently had a one night stay at this hotel. From start to finish the experience was filled with awesome service. The shuttle from the airport was quick and friendly to the front desk and floor/kitchen personnel for bfast and back to airport was a completely welcoming environment. Too bad it was only one night. The hotel itself was well maintained and clean. Three thumbs up and thank you to the staff!!! You made my long travels behind me and ahead of me a little less stressful.

Stayed here one night for a flight arrival, and we really enjoyed it. We were upgraded to the Executive Suite bldg because of mt BW rewards... It wasn't really a suite, but the room was VERY large... The grounds were nicely kept up. Did not have much interaction with the staff, but the maintence man who delivered our extra blanket was super nice and very courteous.. the pool area was very nice, too. Wish I could have stayed longer, but it was the start of our RT west. Would definately stay again, snd they take pets....

« Our second time, and even better than the first! »

We had another great stay at this property in Albuquerque this week. Our room was huge! So much extra room - two queens plus a fold-out love seat - so the 4 of us slept very comfortably. Love the breakfast they have at this location, (real hashbrowns!), and overall a very pleasant stay. This will be our regular spot when we travel through Albuquerque.

« Recent remodel didn't help the rooms. »

I stayed here two days for business. The choice of hotels was not mine. Though I'm grateful that the hotel was able to accommodate 2 rooms on short notice (someone on the Albuquerque end forgot to make the reservations) I wish I didn't have to stay here. If we had someone in our party with mobility issues and there were no first floor rooms, we would have been in a pickle, there is no elevator. My room was just okay. The bed was comfortable but the room always felt moist despite the air conditioning running all the time. I don't know who did the measuring for the closet and the folding door, you can't hang clothes in it and have the door close properly, the closet isn't deep enough. The noise from the hallway was loud enough that I kept the hvac fan on all night. However, the complimentary breakfast is very nicely done. Coffee was okay.

    « Excellent value. »

This place was very good. The place is quiet, clean and comfortable. I've enjoyed 2 nights of good sleep. In the back of the hotel is a pool and hot tub in a park like setting. The breakfast in the morning is a standard Best Western fare. The hotel is in good repair and located near restaurants and gas stations. All in all an excellent location and vale. The staff is top notch as well. I definitely will stay here again.

    « Pluses and minuses »

While the bed was comfortable and the room seemed clean, the flooring (carpeting and tile) seemed tired and worn and the couch and chair had a few faint stains. I dared not to go barefoot. I did use sanitary wipes on the granite sink countertops and found them to be slightly dusty/dirty. My expectation is that all surfaces are wiped down/sanitized during cleaning but this was not the case. For the price, it was satisfactory and we appreciated the upgrade to a suite. Next time, though, I will try a different BW location.

    « Good Value...Good night's rest »

Very pleasant stay from the location (near the airport and near the Interstate, to the comfortable, quiet night's sleep, to the excellent hot breakfast. We were driving from Colorado to Phoenix and Albuquerque was the mid-point. We were hot and tired the the BW took care of us...nice comfortable and cool room. Before we hit the the road in the AM, we needed breakfast. The BW Inn Suites offered hot scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns. I didn't have the biscuits and gravy as I was too full. The orange juice and coffee hit the spot. Waffles, toast, bagels, cereal were also offered. The news on TV and the daily newspaper were a welcome addition to breakfast.

« The Best Best Western Ever »

My husband and I are retired and have spent 7 weeks since the first of the year, driving around America, enjoying the sights and parks. We try to always stay at Best Westerns, as they seem to be the cleanest and most friendly. This establishment was beautiful. The grounds were landscaped with petrified wood and lovely plants. There were several tables with umbrellas, so you could relax outside. The laundry area had 2 washers and dryers, a flat screen TV and 2 easy chairs. Our room was the Roosevelt Presidential Jacuzzi Suite. It was a lovely 2 room suite, with couch, chair and desk area in the living room, a separate sink outside the bathroom, microwave, fridge, a huge bedroom with Jacuzzi, another sink and closet. Both rooms had flat screen TVs and separate air conditioners. The breakfast had eggs, bacon, gravy, potatoes, along with juice, waffles and cold and hot cereal. It was hot and displayed well. All the employees were very helpful and friendly. Don't miss it if you are in Albuquerque!!

« Great Stay! Terrific Hospitality! »

I checked into this room for an overnight stay and easy access to the Albuquerque Sunport. The room was very comfortable and the service was wonderful. While it was close to the airport and you could hear the planes taking off, the noise only occurs during the day so they don't wake you up in the middle of the night. My only complaints are that the doors to the front were not automatic, which was a bit of a pain as I had a few bags to carry with me. In addition, the bathroom door was in an awkward place with regard to the toilet. Also, there was no bacon at the breakfast counter in the morning. However, those are relatively small complaints as I have experienced larger problems at other hotels and they do not deserve losing a star. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at the Best Western near Albuquerque Airport for anyone traveling through the area.

« High competition in hotels near the airport »

I picked this hotel because it offered a complementary hot breakfast that wasn't all carbs. The breakfast lived up to its billing. The hot tub and pool were in a nice setting with landscaping. Only the hot tub was a little cool. The room was fine, but perhaps could use some interior decorating touches. In general, I don't think the extra cost for this hotel was worth it compared to the competition around the ABQ airport. Otherwise it was great.

    « Great Stay! »

I had a great stay at the Best Western Airport Inn Suites in Albuquerque, NM. Comfy beds, accommodating staff, and very nice rooms. Great place to stay! FYI the free airport shuttle begins at 4:30 AM so if you have one of those rare earlier flights you will need to make another plan to get to the airport. The clerk at the desk ordered me a cab ahead of time. The cab was very late as there seems to be a shortage of cabbies in the area but the hotel staff did all they could.

« Jacuzzi suite was awesome »

Stayed here for our anniversary. We are local, but wanted to get out of the house. Plenty of room, two separate areas, so kids can stay in their own room. Bed was soft, but comfortable. Jacuzzi was spacious and relaxing.

    « Treated like a VIP »

My stay at the Best Western Airport Albuquerque InnSuites was one the greatest experiences I have at a hotel, I was treated like a VIP and the afternoon greeting snacks was something I have never seen before at a hotel, The people we were great and so helpful during my stay.

« Basic, nice BW experience. »

Everything works. Quiet, clean, friendly. Breakfast was great. Curious how loud footsteps sounded from the floor above but wasn't a problem. If you have a noisy neighbor above it could be though. This is an airport hotel but you don't need to worry about access or jet noise. This property is frequently priced well below the other Albuquerque BW's. When it is $30 cheaper (or more) it is easily the best value.

« Great place to stay »

Clean rooms friendly staff good breakfast that will save $8-$10 a day per person if you use it rather than going out to eat. Relaxing pool and hot tub. The location is excellent close to rental car agencies and airport. This hotel is also only 1 1/2 miles from Interstate 25 this makes everything easy to get around.

« Best Western Albuquerque, New Mexico »

The Best Western at the Albuquerque was convenient and professionally operated. The staff was helpful and professional. Additionally, the facility is near local sites. Noteworthy is the fac t that while the facility is near the airport, there was minimal noise and we had a very restful night. I would definitely recommend this property for a stay.

« Great Hotel at a great price »

After a long day of driving, we stopped at this hotel after seeing some great rates on an internet site. The staff were incredibly helpful and made our stay very comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts EVER!

« Best Western has stepped up thier game!!! »

First off just let me thank Anita, Victoria and especially Ana for the amazing details they put into our stay. Anita and Victoria THANK YOU for the upgrade to make this proposal weekend extremely special. I had originally booked the King suite and let them know it was the last night of our proposal weekend and much to my surprise they upgraded us to a Presidential Jacuzzi Suite. Totally unexpected and very much appreciated. It was the second time my NEW finace cried tears of joy this weekend!!! Walked into the suite and there was a jacuzzi and that little extra with the rose petals on the bed. You should be extremely proud of your staff and this property. Ana at check was amazing. She took me to the room while my upsuspecting fiance waited in the lobby. Ana you guys NAILED IT. We will for sure be back to this property in the future. Your evening manager snacks and drinks were perfect. The breakfast was one of the best Ive seen in a while for a free breakfast. Everyone from the front desk, the cleaning ladies, to the grounds keeper should be praised. Grounds were immaculate! Again THANK YOU to all at Best Western for hiring and maintaining such great standards for this property. Best Western in the last few years has really raised thier bar for a quality product!!

    « excellent stay »

I have stayed many times at thus BW. Fantastic people and service. Shuttle service is punctual and very friendly drivers knowledgeable about the area and can take you anywhere in 5 mile radius. Social hour daily with nachos, sodas, water, pretzels. Large size rooms and great beds. Always love our stay. Highly recommend this place!!

« Stay at airport hotel »

Excellent service for a one night stay at airport hotel. Staff all friendly and professional. Breakfast included and so was shuttle to the airport on the morning of our flight. We were also picked up when we dropped off our rental car after checking in. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

    5
    « Nice hotel »

This was a beautiful property, everything about the room was perfect. There was a little construction going on and the breakfast bar closed earlier than I thought, but neither was their fault. The surrounding neighborhood was not exactly attractive, but the city has a lot of nice features.

« Airport pickup not good »

After flying all day and finally getting into Abq airport we got our bags and called for a pickup. We had stayed here before we left on our vacation and had left our car there. We were going to stay another night before heading for home. My wife was told that we would have to wait at least 1/2 hour before we could be picked up since the driver was busy. This hotel is so close to the airport that if you laid a sidewalk from the hotel to the airport you could probably walk it in less than an half hour. True to the clerks word we didn't get picked up until that time went by. The driver was apologetic and said he had to help an elderly lady with her bags. I don't see how that could possibly take that long to do. My wife was sick and we were both very tired and it really aggravates you when everyone else on your flight has been picked up and you're still waiting. No excuse for this !!!

    3
« Reasonable and very close to sunport airport »

The hotel is next to Village inn. It is very close to the Airport. It took only 7 minutes to return our rental car from the hotel. The breakfast was better than expected because they serve hot foods. The room wall is kind of thin. So you can hear people talking in the next room.

    « good stay »

courteous staff--big, clean room--good bed--thick, thirsty towels--free afternoon snacks--free breakfast on par or better than other chain hotels--fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, free wifi--my stay was very quiet, as hotel sits well back off the street--rooms a little dated--not enough electrical outlets--my door required quite a bit of pressure to close, which made it close loudly--no problem for me, but had I been coming and going very late, or very early, it would have certainly bothered guests in nearby rooms--in all, nothing really to complain about--will definitely stay there when I have business in that part of town--good value--good location

    4
« Really close to airport »

Stayed here one night because it was a little less expensive than some other airport hotels. Very clean, 2 floors without elevator and parking is a little tight. The free breakfast was average. Very friendly and helpful staff! 15 minute drive to Old Town.

    3
    « Friendly stay »

Nice staff. Easy access to food. Could use some room updates. We were there for our daughters graduation from the University of New Mexico. This location is very close to the campus. Also close to Nob Hill which has many great restaurants and of course the airport.

Nice hotel. Very convenient to Interstate highway. Clean and comfortable with caring attentive staff. This is the first experience with this hotel. We travel across country frequently and are picky about where we stay. We will stay here again!

« Excellent Value in Albuquerque »

The BW is a well maintained, clean and conveniently located motel. A key attribute is relatively low cost which creates an excellent value. The motel is located just minutes from I-25 and I-40 making travel to local and out of town locations relatively easy.

    « Another wonderful stay »

I am a frequent customer at this particular Best Western Airport InnSuites. I stay at this hotel about 15-20 nights per year. I am a rewards customer and have had numerous free upgrades to the presidential suites which are wonderful. I just was there this past weekend and will be back this weekend.

« When in ABQ we stay here »

The location is perfect for our visits and to drop kids off at the airport. The rooms have been great and convenient for our dog, with much walking room just across the street. The pool and spa add to our fun, as does the relatively yummy breakfast. The staff have always been professional and fun to interact with.

« We love this hotel! »

We have stayed at the Best Western Inn Suites in Albuquerque for the past 8 years and always look forward to our visits to Albuquerque and staying at this hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the facilities and rooms are among the best we've experienced. We highly recommend this hotel.

    5
« Great hotel for ABQ Sunport early departure »

We have stayed here before because this hotel is just minutes from the ABQ Sunport, and thus very convenient for early departures. It's clean and comfortable, and serves our needs. I can't speak as to the breakfast, as each time we've stayed, we depart before 6 a.m., and I don't think they serve breakfast until 6.

    5
    « Great Meeting/Lodging EXCELLENT REMODEL »

Anita & Victoria continue to do a great job at this hotel. They are always willing to go the extra mile to work with us a non-profit. The hotel is older but the remodel is a big improvement- the hotel looks great! The rates are low and lots of extras for the price. We rented the meeting space and were allowed to have our own food catered. Our guests thought the hotel was very comfortable. The pool was sparkling and the patio area looked so nice, wish I could have spent some time back there! We continue to use this hotel as often as possible in the Albuquerque area. Our guests are always happy, I highly recommend, great value. Excellent service from Timothy and Gracie

« A quick visit to the Best Western by the Albuquerque airport »

I checked in close to 1 am and the clerk was there to greet me promptly. I went to my room to get some sleep and found that my room had been upgraded to a suite, which was very nice. More than I needed, but very nice. The hotel looked nice. Later that morning I went down to breakfast which was good, hot, and fast. I checked out and was back on the highway by 7, remembering that I will have to come back to this hotel soon.

    « Hotel Airports »

This hotel is convenient and close to the airport - less than three minutes away! Staff was very helpful and nice. The server was down and the hotel was full but staff remained positive and helpful! Highly recommend and will use on future trips.

    « ALWAYS consistently excellent »

We stay here several times over the course of a year. The staff is always on top of things, not to mention pleasant and courteous. The room is always in excellent condition. We just can't say enough good things about the Best Western InnSuites near the Albuquerque Airport. Kudos to the staff!

« Great value and near the airport »

I needed a stay in Albuquerque for a night and found this hotel through GetaRoom.com at a decent rate. The facilities are older but clean and up to date, and certainly not a luxury hotel. For the money, this hotel was a very good value. Highlights were free WI-FI, free breakfast and a good amount of entertainment options available on the TV. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Very close to the airport, but no real airport noise to speak of.

    5
« Welcome, Comfortable Late Night Stay »

We got into Albuquerque Sunport at midnight and found a very welcoming and comfortable jaccuzi suite awaiting us. Nice and specious rooms, two sinks, a shower, soft bed, quiet and a heavenly soak in the morning followed by hearty breakfast got us adjusted to the return from Portugal and two weeks at a lower elevation. And the price was right.

« Ideal airport location, friendly staff »

This hotel is near the airport, making it very easy for car return or to use shuttle service to get to flight. Staff very friendly, excellent breakfast choices, and evening snacks. Also close to area restaurants.

« Solid economy hotel, great rate, clean, good staff, 'okay' breakfast »

This was a stopover night on a driving trip. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was good sized. I would give the hotel a better reading but the breakfast was a bit marginal. There was an acceptable selection but they were out of several of the hot items (eggs, bacon, hash browns) and it took a while to refill. The best western the night before was much better. We were on our way to Santa Fe and it is sufficiently close, if I had it to do over we would have just driven the extra hour...

    « Great place!! »

I stayed here for one day and it was very nice!!! The room was very big and clean. they actually have really nice mattresses. I slept like a baby after such a long day. The staff was very friendly and they welcomed me with a big smile!!! I come to Albuquerque often and I'm planning to always stay at this hotel.

« Stop Over in ABQ »

Fine hotel for a night, but I have had much better ones in similar situations. Rooms are big and comfortable. Bed is not particularly good, although large. Good internet speed and cable service. Loud noises during the night coming from neighboring properties. Front desk and general appearance of the hotel is dated and in urgent need of a remodel. Parking is a mess. Disappointing overall.

    5
    « Great location »

I typically stay at this hotel when flying out of ABQ. I normally have great experience. This time, I did not have bathroom towels and did not notice until I needed one in the morning prior to leaving for the airport. Staff are always friendly and try to accommodate guests. The manager guest nachos, drinks, and pretzels are a nice touch early evening.

    5
    « Nice place »

Really good service from cheerful staff. Shuttle service was fast. They even took me to the train station in town. Except for an unfortunate overuse of air freshener, the room was very comfortable and spacious enough. Breakfast (free) was excellent.

    2
« Great people, but don't stay here. »

The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good. The microwave and mini-fridge and the individual names of each room are nice touches. The room was very large. The room smelled like old smoke and the carpet looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in about a decade. I was literally afraid to let my bare feet touch it. The walls are paper thin and the floors creak. Every step the people above me took, I heard. 3, 4, 5, am I could hear doors slamming and people walking around. I didn't get any sleep before my job interview. The iron is stored in an odd place, and it did not work correctly. The remote needed new batteries.

    4
    « Excellent Customer Service »

The free breakfast was amazing--so many choices!!! The food was nice and hot and fresh. We were pleasantly surprised to have such a nice breakfast included with our stay. Also, I wanted to give my compliments to your HARD WORKER Cierra. When we checked in last night, she was the only one at the front desk. She was taking phone reservations, helping people check in, answering calls from guests who were calling from their rooms regarding housekeeping and customer service issues--ALL AT THE SAME TIME! She had a constant stream of people checking in, phone calls, and guests needing her for at least 45 minutes during the time of our arrival. She was extremely professional the entire time, and honestly was exactly the type of employee any company would be thrilled to have! You should be very proud of her--she represented your company and brand very, very well.

« Positive effect of Renovation »

This reasonably priced, airport-convenient site is benefiting from the current renovations. The always-available plentiful breakfast is now housed in a much larger space. The lobby will be completed within weeks with new furniture. The staff in all depts. is friendly and eager to make one's visit a good one. Each visit is a comfortable and quiet stay. Even when filled to capacity, I have not experienced unnecessary noise/confusion. Enough said to continue visiting over 20 plus years.

    « Needs Updates »

Got a suite and found it was off away from the main building which isn't always bad but it appeared to be in an old outdated part of the building and we paid more for the suite?? Rooms were noisy, smelled bad, and were sorely outdated. Check in was not easy and check out was even harder because we used an online check in and they couldn't help us check out early. (didn't want to stay there another night). The parking lot is shared with a Village Inn restaurant and parking is horrible at best. if you have a nice car don't bring it unless you plan on a ding in the door from such close parking.

    « no sleep »

Mixed reviews on staff. Some were friendly and helpful, others acted like they did not want to be there; or did not want the patrons there. The public computer was not working so the day clerk helped me print out the boarding passes I needed. The other day clerk was always friendly and making sure that my questions were answered to the best of his ability. House keeping kindly took care of an issue I reported. The night clerk was not accommodating at all and in fact acted like I was bothering him when I asked about the early-riser food bag that was supposed to be offered. I was rudely told that I should have ordered it the night before. Beyond the staff issues, the room was very noisy. I could hear the occupants in the room above me all night long. So I left for my long trip home, with no food and lack of sleep. I wasn't impressed.

We loved the shuttle service! It was very helpful since we did not rent a car. The staff was friendly, professional & helpful. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was very good & the hot tub was excellent- temperature & jets! We will be back next time we're in town!

« Mother and daughter trip »

Go to hotel when we are in ABQ. close to airport, quite, clean, has a evening reception and breakfast. They have a business area to print boarding passes if need. The staff in nice and helpful. They are redecorating and update. It looks really nice. I don't think we will ever waiver from here.

    « Our Local Residence »

WOW! Everything we experienced at this hotel was enjoyable. The staff were courteous and helpful whenever we had questions. There is ample space adjacent to the hotel to give our dog her daily walks in a safe and clean environment. The amenities, breakfast, afternoon snack and pool were all top notch. The room was clean with all the utilities that we use to make our stay as much like home as possible. Finally, the location suits us well even tough we have nothing do with the nearby airport. We will continue to stay here when in ABQ.

    « Bathroom imrovements »

I am a senior 80+ years old. It is helpful to me if there are grab bars in the bathroom, (1) beside the toilet and (2) in the tub. The tub bars should consist of one vertical bar near the taps to aid stepping in and out of the tub, and a vertical bar to aid sitting down and getting up while in the tub.

    5
    « ABQ stay »

We love this hotel every time we stay in Albuquerque, New Mexico. So near the airport yet quiet, it's easy to get to and we can safely leave our car while out of town and use the shuttle to get to our flights.

    5
« New Mexico family trip »

I was very impressed by the staff and how helpful each and everyone one of them were. This Best Western was convenient for my family and I because we were close to shopping centers and the zoo. The prices were reasonable and I had no issues with the cleanliness of the room.

    « WOW »

This hotel has been a great stay for us on the way to Arizona and back home a month latter. Rooms are nice and big, beds are comfortable, breakfast is a great selection, location is safe. We really enjoy staying here every year. There is a Fuddruckers within walking distance for supper,so one does not have to drive to go for supper after a long, hard day of driving. Will stay here next time in town and highly recommend to anyone to check out.

« Shuttle service allows you to return rental car the night before an early flight - saves $ »

After staying here several times, we finally realized we could return our rental car the night before our morning flight home, then take the hotel shuttle to the airport. The rental return is only a mile or two away from the hotel, so we dropped the car off, called the hotel for a shuttle pickup, then reserved a shuttle in the morning. Because we returned the car early, they reduced our bill a bit. Next time we'll end our reservation that night. Why pay for a car rental when all you're doing is sleeping a mile away? Also, the hotel offers a "Grab and Go" bagged breakfast for those whose flights are super early. It isn't much - apple or orange, granola bar and yogurt - but it's enough to sustain you until you get through security. A thoughtful touch for its specialized pool of customers.

    « Single women avoid »

There is a main building and they put me in separate building in back. Park in back and walk about half block by time you get to your room. Forgot cooler in vehicle but too dark -places to hide near pool and building-didn't want to get it so let a little food spoil but I was safe. Only place to eat village inn, bowl of ugly greens and yummy cheeseburger $8.69 ouch. Bath remodel very nice. Breakfast and serving lady also better than average. There was noise from people in hall, tvs, doors but not from outside.

    4
« Very Good for Short Stay »

Pleasant, quick, and competent staff. Goof location, just far enough off I-25 and parking is convenient. Rooms are small but well appointed. Bed is comfortable enough for short stay. Reasonably quiet. They have a free breakfast, but also a full, good restaurant next door, very easy short walk through the parking lot. Free wi-fi. All in all a good value. Met our needs.

    « Hope this was a fluke! »

Hotel under remodeling which I was not told at booking. Both the soda machine & juice machine in breakfast room out of order. No hot water in the shower or the sink on the morning of the 14th. After waiting several minutes for the water to warm up I had to take a cold sponge bath in the sink & dunk my hair under a cold shower at 3:50 am. I told the desk clerk when I went to find coffee. I Was freezing cold. At that point I was so behind I nearly missed my 4:30 am airport shuttle. The included full breakfast was not available to me as my flight was earlier than the 6:30 am serving time. I was promise a breakfast bag consisting of fruit, granola bar and water. I never got it! I'm a diabetic so you can imagine my concerns at that point. Fortunately I take try to take the necessary precautions, just in case. The bed was comfortable and the staff was reasonably nice but the only thing that could possibly make this any better is a complete and complimentary do over or a full refund. I truly wish this hadn't happened but thank you for asking. Rose

« Do not be deceived »

This is an old and dirty hotel. This hotel does not take pride in the appearance of their rooms (at least the room I was in). Stains on the floor, towels, bed-sheets, and curtains (also had holes in the curtain-did not feel I had privacy). For the price I paid, there are better hotel chains that take pride in their appearance.

    4
    « Nice and convenient »

The hotel was a block from where I needed to be and close to the airport. Access to the freeway was fairly easy and there were plenty of places in the immediate area to eat. They're undergoing renovations so things were a bit awkward, and they do not have an elevator so if you have trouble with the stairs, let them know at check-in. Otherwise, a nice place to stay.

    2
    « not clean »

Pet room was disgusting. Though this is a pet-friendly hotel, I felt as if I were being punished for having a pet. The room was filthy. Dog urine on drapes; drapes were shredded. Bed and exterior linen was dirty and one of the bed shams had a cigarette hole in it. Very disappointing; I had stayed in this hotel previously and the experience was much better. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, but the room was gross and I won't be back to stay in the near future.

    2
    « Hotel Experience »

It was not a pleasant experience for our weekend family. weekend get away. I Should have been informed of hotel being remodel. We couldn't enjoy our meal that was offered due to the messy remodeling process with the dust in the air and the coldness of the area. The hotel room plumbing was not the best either. We had to be moved to another room but still the plumbing was still an issue. We can't stay at this hotel again.

« Other than some carelessness, nice place to stay in for a few days »

We wanted a cheap place to stay in while we visited New Mexico from Colorado. So, we booked a couple nights at this place. While checking in the guy at the front (I want to say Michael) upgraded us to a presidential suite for free without us asking. This was nice, as it gave our son a chance to enjoy his Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in the front room, while we watched our shows on the bedroom tv. Place was spacious and clean wherever the eye could see. Docked one star for two of the lamps not working. We called Michael about this a few hours after we checked in and it was never fixed during our three day stay. Docked another star for when our kitten ran out from under the bed with a strange petal looking cloth in her mouth. Sure enough I peek under the bed and it is littered with crumpled up paper towels and around 10 things which appeared to be fake petals to me. Added a star for the free room upgrade and for being one of the only hotels in New Mexico that would let non-canine pets stay and not charge an arm and a leg for that!

« Motel is being totally renovated. »

I was given a renovated room and it was excellent. Because the front lobby is also under renovation, breakfast might suffer. I left before the breakfast started and was told the the coffee machine wasn't operating. The motel is set back behind the Village Inn, so road noise is minimized. Check-in and check out were quick.

« Stop along the Way »

A good hotel selection for an overnight place to sleep after flying in from Hawaii. I was on my way to meet my husband at his El Paso, TX business site. Feeling exhausted, it was very good to find out there were several restaurants within easy and safe walking distance.

    « A Friendly, Comfortable Airport Hotel »

I travel frequently. Whenever I fly I make a point of staying at the Best Western Inn and Suites at the Albuquerque Sunport before an early-morning departure or a late arrival because the hotel is always friendly, comfortable, and has an efficient shuttle. Additionally, I can leave my car at the hotel when I am on my trip. On one occasion my return was twice delayed and the hotel always gracious in permitting me to leave my car the extra time. This is my hotel of choice when flying in and out of Albuquerque. If I am arriving or departing with family members, I book us all there.

    4
    « GREAT VALUE »

Although the hotel is being updated, the inconvenience was minimal. Room was great. Breakfast area could be bigger with a couple more tables. Great "Bang for Buck" choice. Conveniently located near Fwy.I would stay here again.

    5
« ? I said I would be back and this is the place to stay in Albuquerque. »

? The property is located only 10 minutes away from the Albuquerque airport. There is a complementary shuttle that runs every half hour. Their free breakfast every morning is very very good. Above all, the staff was very very friendly? Again! I already have made my reservation to stay here when I come back on Friday!

« Strong smell of paint in building and room »

Not satisfied with this room at all. When checking in, there was a note about the breakfast area being remodeled but no mention of other improvements happening from the front desk person. I entered the building and it immediately had a strong smell of paint but didn't expect it to extend to my room. Got to the room, turned on the air for 10 minutes but that didn't do much. Called front desk to see if we could switch buildings, but no other rooms were available. I'm very disappointed that 1. They failed to mention this when I checked in 2. That there isn't proper ventilation and 3. They even allow people to sleep in rooms with the strong odor of paint. Just doesn't seem safe overall. I had an early morning flight so I couldn't fathom trying to find another hotel. If I have any health problems after this, I'm definitely making this an issue for the hotel!

« Best Western Albuquerque: An Overlooked Success »

The place is great. Don't need no Hilton to satiate overnight stay(s). Service and breakfast are good. Reserving a room takes no time. Personnel are friendly. Come stay here. Feels like home away from home.

    « Stayed a few times! »

A very clean and friendly place. Staff are all great. The rooms are large with comfortable beds. Showers all seem to be hot and good pressure. Wi-Fi works great. The breakfast is awesome - a very big selection with hot choices but often very busy. There is a restaurant right outside. the airport is right there. lots of parking - for sure I stay again!

« A balanced review of the quietness, food, cleanliness, and convenience. »

Check in: They could not find the reservation despite the fact that we had the paper with the reservation number on it. We are still waiting to see if we are double charged. But he did get us the type of room we asked for at the right rate. Lesson learned : Always confirm your reservation by calling the hotel before you. Convenience: They did not have an elevator to the second floor or anyone to help take our luggage up stairs. Maybe the desk clerk would have helped but he was slammed with customers when we arrived. There are not many stairs to the second floor it is only a problem probably if your elderly or have a lot of luggage. For us, I thought my husband was going to have a heart attack! Cleanliness: Not a very good first impression. There were a pair of someones socks rolled up on the shelf on the garment rack and a stained (mascara?) towel in our bathroom. My husband thought he smelled smoke in the nonsmokers room. If we were not so exhausted we might have complained. But other then that the room looked nice and was kept very clean the rest of our stay. Quietness: We had the Eisenhower suite. Since the outdoor pool is near it, it was noisy till the pool closed for the night. Why anyone was swimming when it was in the 50's I dont know. Also they are remodeling the room below us so there was hammering going on during the day. I would not reserve that room if I needed a quiet room during the day. Since we were gone during the day we missed most of the noise. The rest of the time the hotel was quiet. Comfort: The bed, a King, was very comfortable and the rooms a good size. We always try to get a suite so if one cant sleep they can go in the other room and turn on a light without disturbing the sleeper. Food: The breakfast was an average free buffet. They did a good job keeping the food filled and were helpful and polite. It was very crowded every morning. I hope the room they are adding is a larger breakfast area. There are also pretzels and nachos available later in the day along with free soda. There is a restaurant right in front of the hotel and many within walking or driving distance. It is nice they give the mileage to different restaurants and fast food places. There is no food for sale at the hotel or room service. Phone numbers for pizza delivery are available. If you skip the free breakfast there is a Waffle House down the rode which we ate at once. The foods good and the staff very friendly. Something about starting the day around friendly people always helps the day go well. Shuttle: We used the free shuttle to pick us up from the airport and take us to the hotel. The driver arrived promptly. We found the van hard to get in and out. We are on the taller side and found we were practically having to crawl in and out. The driver was very friendly though and helpful.

Love the hot, fresh, breakfast and the snacks in the afternoon too! Beds are comfy with 4 pillows. Computer and printer are sooo convenient. Also they're next to a Waffle House which is great. Rooms are so clean. Love the fridge and microwave!

« Stayed here before and love this place- »

Great place to stay- First time I have stayed in a room with a balcony and so nice to sit outside on a warm day and get the fresh air- each balcony has a comfortable chair to take in the breeze. The rooms are great and very well kept- there is also a nice complimentary breakfast complete with waffles, juices and cereals.

« "Great stay while away from home!" »

I stayed at this hotel while my daughter was I Presbyterians NICU. The front desk staff was wonderful (Serria& Michael) there were also so helpful and greeted me with a smile every time. I often had to use the shuttle to get to my daughter at the hospital and Willie, Zinna, & Eric were always so kind and were really wonderful people to met and made each ride to and from the hospital/hotel a friendly enjoyable ride. The shuttle was a bleesing to have without the drivers I would't be able to see my daughter. I recommended this hotel if you need a home away from home to stay. The have great rooms and the staff is all wonderful and friendly.

« Great stay in a great area! »

I stayed here while playing a show in town in the Nob Hill area with my band. The hotel is conveniently located to the Nob Hill area, filled with restaurants, bars and great shops. The staff was extremely kind and attentive every time I walked through the lobby. I must have heard "have a great day/evening" 10 times in the one night I spent there. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. As a musician who travels the country most of the year it is very important to have a room with a great bed so sleep and rest are optimal. This bed did not disappoint. I slept like a rock. The breakfast had many good options from fruit and yogurt to hash browns and sausage. Overall my stay was a great experience. Next time I'm coming through this way, I'd stay here again in a heart beat.

    « Great Stay »

I have been staying in this hotel since 1991, and still love it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great room and breakfast. A good value with the full breakfast. The location is close to the airport, and easy access to the interstate.

    5
    « Great Value »

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. The room was relatively inexpensive and I was not sure what I would find. The rooms are well decorated, clean and quiet. The staff could not be more pleasant and the grounds were well maintained. Great value for the price!

    « Room »

Rooms were very clean, comfortable and my room was off the main road so it was very quiet. The size of the rooms were very large and so was the bathroom. I didn't eat the breakfast there, but it looked very good. I enjoyed the area where my room was. Like it to be off the main path of other guests since I have little ones

« We have 11 month old TWINS!!!! Great Value for the cost!!! »

There were refreshments in the foyer during check in and breakfast was excellent. The king size suite was better than anticipated as it had 2 bathrooms. It appears they just took 2 regular rooms and adjoined them with French doors. The result was tremendous as there was plenty of room for 2 pack-n-plays. Normally when we travel, that is our issue, however that was not a problem here. The mini-fridge did not work so they replaced it within 30 minutes of reporting the issue. One thing is that the king size suites are upstairs and there is not an elevator. Will (desk clerk) helped get our bags upstairs so it was not an issue, but definitely good to know. Could not have been closer to the airport. Distance was under 5 minutes. Village Inn is located in the parking lot. Parking lot lighting was out so it was very dark to unpack the car.

« Decent, Cheap, Close to Airport »

Request a room in the main building. Our first stay was in the building behind the main building and it was very dated and worn. Our second stay was in the main building and it was more up to date, clean, comfortable, and not worn. This hotel is perfect if you are looking for 1-2 nights close to the airport. For an airport hotel, it would be nice if the breakfast started earlier. We were leaving early each morning and there was only coffee out. For the price though, I have no complaints. It appeared clean, it was comfortable, and the AAA price was a great deal. Because the prices are so good, I'll give it 4 stars.

    4
« Great hotel at a great price. »

We book this on the BW site no other site could match their price before AAA discount. And with the AAA discount it's an even better deal. We booked a single King and were given the Ford Presidential Suite at under $70. The suite consisted of a sitting room with a computer desk, wall mounted HD TV, with a comfy couch, and a bedroom with another HD TV and a very comfortable bed. There were two washrooms each with a vanity. The room included a fridge and microwave. The morning breakfast was good eggs hash browns bacon biscuit and gravy and two waffle makers. Yogurts cereals breads and fruits were also available.

« Nice place to stay before or after flying into Albuquerque »

After or before flying it is a nice restful hotel to come to and be prepared for the rest of the journey. I review different hotels in the area I am going to and check for price also. Other hotels have been disappointing, but was very pleased with this one even though it cost a tad more. Also, as in other hotels I do not understand why a pet fee is charged.

    5
    « Great Staff »

We needed to check in eary (1PM) and called ahead and talked to Anita and she had our suite ready when we arrived. The next moring I was returning from medical tests early and needed my suite cleaned earlier than normal. Anna took care of this. We stay here several times a year, and while the suites are a great bargain the best of all is the staff

    « Lots to like! »

This hotel is just 2min from the airport. The shuttle comes frequently and the drivers are quite helpful. The check-in staff were friendly and efficient. The hallways and rooms looked a bit dated, but we had a huge room that looked out on the courtyard and we were very satisfied. The very best thing about this hotel was the freshly cleaned and packaged remote control for the TV. Someone read those "10 Dirtiest Things in Hotel Rooms" articles. This is the first hotel I've been in that has done something about it. Also, the iron was clean---icky, sticky irons are a pet peeve of mine, especially when you get up early and start to press your clothes without looking. Also, the breakfast in the lobby, free, was on offer till much later than many other hotels.

« Be aware of a CAR THEFT »

Terrible terrible terrible! You can be a victim!!! Don't stay here!!! And my review was also gone too!! Our car was stolen on new years day. While We were eating breakfast, someone stolen our car that has valuable things like our SS card, some credit cards, passports, laptops, my bike, custom surfboard even my collections for more than 10 years. This is not a joke. We parked the car next to dump area which has NO Camera. And got a police report 1week later. Don't stay here. You can be a victim. Police called us later and found the car that already chopped, they found a gun holder that we don't have. Now I am worry about identity theft. :(

    « A Good, Inexpensive Stay »

My husband and I picked the hotel due to the close location to the airport and the great price per night. Breakfast was one of the better free breakfasts for the Hotel price, which included scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, biscuit, and gravy, cereal, and juices. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly (more on the dry side vs the slimy eggs that hotels usually have). We stayed 3 nights, where the first night we were on the first floor and hear the people above doing laps for 4 hours. We requested a second floor (top floor) room, which the hotel staff accommodated the request. This made our stay much more comfortable. The upstairs room was more spacious and more cosmetically pleasing. The rooms have been updated (new beds, furnishings, and carpet) but some of the room's wear shows the room is older. The hotel shares its parking lot with a 24 hour/7 day week dinner, which is convenient if you do not want to drive for food.

    4
« A little dated but extremely convenient to airport »

For reasons completely unknown to us, we were put in the Presidential Suite. Didn't really expect a kitchen or a living room, since we were there only one night to catch an early flight the next day. Bed was fantastic, but the rest of the furniture was somewhat worn. Kitchen had forks and knives but not spoons and only one bowl; we looked because we had some instant oatmeal with us and had to check out before the breakfast buffet started. So, we ate at the airport instead. Price was very reasonable!

    5
« Great beds and convenient »

Stayed here for an over night trip and as usual, BW maintained it's inexpensive yet clean and courteous service. The room was spacious and tidy, the bathroom large and although we were located next to the airport and I-27, it was quiet, which I appreciated--and as stated in the title, the bed was comfortable. The location is great as you aren't exactly in the mess of a busy area but you aren't so far that it takes you forever to get places. They provide breakfast but if you're a night owl eater, you are right next to a Village Inn. Extra kudos to this hotel as they allowed an early check-in with no fuss! I've stayed here before and I will definitely stay here again.

    2
    « Older Hotel »

We were put in a different building, we were not told that when we booked hotel. Not very well lit areas, did not feel comfortable after dark walking to restaurants in area. Hotel needs upgrading, too much money for what one gets

    « Great Hotel! »

I needed to catch an early flight and this hotel was amazing! Right across from the car rental return and at the airport. It was also very quiet, so I was able to get to sleep early and get to my flight without any problems. The hotel was very nice and close to stores and restaurants. Definitely a gem in Albuquerque!

« Lovely property, excellent staff »

We rolled into Albuquerque just ahead of a predicted snowstorm (which turned out to be a minor inconvenience rather than a major problem). The hotel was lovely, well-kept and welcoming; staff were courteous and professional, and in particular the young man staffing the front desk was kind, efficient and helpful in the midst of a flurry of guests changing departure dates, etc. I would definitely stay here the next time I come through, and would recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Following a very difficult experience with American Airlines the staff at the Best Western went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The shuttle drivers were very friendly and willing to help they made several suggestions for area restaurants and were very willing to take us. The staff at the check in were very friendly and went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I would certainly stay again All staff receive A++++++ from my wife and I

    « top notch stop »

This Best Western is one of my favorite stops to stay in Albuquerque. I stay here about 4-5 times a year. I love the location next to the airport and close to downtown Albuquerque. The rooms have very nice decor.

    4
« good place to stay »

it was a pleasant stay there while I was passing through on business in Texas the suite I stayed in could have been designed a little better. the bathroom was very small, it's my opinion that some space fron the walkin closet and bedroom could have been used for it.

    4
    « Nice And Convenient »

I stayed here a couple of night between Christmas and New Years on business and enjoyed it a lot. The property is a bit dated yet well maintained. The staff was fantastic in every way. The free breakfast was way above the normal things most places put out. Hot waffles, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy. If you're flying the airport is only about a mile straight up the road. They have a very convenient shuttle for free that runs on the half hours and they were very accommodating when I took my rental car back the night before my flight, picking me up at the rental car location and it starts at 4:30 a.m. which is helpful for those early morning flights. There is a Village Inn restaurant on the site and a Fuddruckers within walking distance. One tip; there is no elevator so if you have a lot of luggage to haul ask for a downstairs room.

« Tops - comfortable, clean, very well appointed and equipped. »

Best Western Airport Albuquerque has been great each time we've stayed there. The rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we could want, notably exceptionally comfortable beds. The staff have always been friendly and capable. The airport is close, and the shuttle makes it easy.

    « Very friendly »

All the employees were so helpful & friendly. They all went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. We enjoyed being within walking distance to the Waffle House & Fuddruckers. It was nice to have a balcony to go out on & watch the kids play in the snow.

Albuquerque Bestwestern is the best!!! If you are there during nice weather time and especially have kids; pool area & hot tub is great. They also provide a happy hour with chips/ cheese & salsa with assorted drinks. The staff is so helpful; we have been staying at this facility for nine years and will continue to do so.

« One surprise for me and OH so PLEASANT! »

This hotel was such a great stay for us. We stayed for 1 nite inbound and selected the hotel again for our outbound flight. The suite rooms are huge! Very clean and amazing layout. The beds were so comfortable we really enjoyed our nights sleep. The front office staff could not have been more kind and helpful. They even had computers available for boarding pass check in. Free Wi-Fi in rooms and the breakfast was a great deal. Excellent choice for the price!

    4
« Great Breakfast and very responsive staff! »

Had a good experience overall, great price, good service and great breakfast. They also have a shuttle to and from the airport and also to the RailRunner train which was very helpful. Unfortunately, the driver didn't know where the RailRunner station was so we had to walk a good bit to it. Thank you!

    2
« Only if you have too »

If you need a place to stay for just a night okay, if longer look for something else. The room was outdated by years, the base boards where falling off the micro was sitting on top of the fridge it was just not pleasant. The staff was great but the rest was marginal at best. It is better than the Sally Port Best Western in Roswell though.

    « Wonderful place »

This was a wonderful hotel. We had a suite which gave us so much room. Having snack time in the evening was fun even though we had a great dinner at the Village Inn located in the same parking lot area. It was quiet and our rooms were warm and cozy. Will stay here again when driving through.

    1
    « No Hot Water »

If you want a hot bath/shower, find another hotel. If you want internet access, bring a cable. The clerk at check-in did not tell us that the wifi was out of order, nor did he suggest an alternative until we called from our room. Spiders in the bathroom.

« Nice rooms close to airport good rates »

We stayed here for 2 nights plus another on our way home. The lobby is a bit small but the king bed rooms are big with lots of room. Rooms are clean , comfortable and quiet. The buffet breakfast like most free continental is adequate but not great. It is very close ( 5 minute car ride) to the airport rental car building and about the same for the terminal building. It is also about 5 minutes to the interstate 25. All this make the location ideal. There are about 3 fast food restaurants close by but no nice dining restaurants that are close.

    4
« Good but not great »

Breakfast was great. Location was perfect. Bed was comfortable. Cleanliness of the room had a little bit to be desired. Toilet was not completely clean. Staff was fine, not great. I could hear other doors close and open.

Free shuttle service is available to and from the nearby airport every 30 minutes.

« Clean, Nice Staff, Needs Maintenance Help »

We live in Santa Fe and chose to stay here twice in a week's time, to go out on a very early AM flight, and after we returned on a very late-night flight. The first time we were sent to the "executive" building where the room was very spacious and clean. Be forewarned, the building has no elevator, so we had to schlep all our luggage up to the second floor. Reaching the entrance can also a be chore ? depending on where there is a parking space. Before we returned to Albuquerque, we called the hotel request a room in the main building (which also does not have an elevator). It has easier access from the parking lot. The staff was very professional, kind and helpful. The room was very clean. Before we checked out, I made a list to give to the front desk of things in our room that needed attention of their maintenance department: the toilet "rocked" and made a loud noise when sat upon; there's a long water stain along the seam of the wallpaper next to the window; there's a hole in the wall under the desk; the window was so dirty it was hard to see out of. Just before I handed this list to the clerk, the man in front of me who was checking out said, "I could barely get the door to my room open. I had to really bang on it to get out." For the price and convenience of location, this property is OK, but with more vigilant attention to maintenance, it sure could be a lot better.

    « Great stay! »

My girlfriend and I stayed at this Best Western a few days ago. The hotel desk, Micheal, was so friendly - he gave us advice on different places to visit for shopping and local restaurants to try (it was our first time in New Mexico). He was extremely helpful to anything we needed. The room, itself, was perfect - comfortable bed and very clean. After having stayed at so many hotels, my girlfriend was especially happy about their choice of shampoos (ylang+palmarosa). She was too content hanging out in the hotel and watching TV! ??. We also loved how quiet the halls were - no loud or rowdy guests. The pool was outside (it seemed fairly large and nice!), unfortunately it was raining the two days we were staying. Our favorite part - aside from talking with Micheal and getting great recommendations from him - was definitely the breakfast. It was a free continental breakfast that was freshly prepared every morning. Someone monitored the buffet to make sure that everything was filled and that guests were being attended to. The hash browns and gravy were PHENOMENAL. The best breakfast we've had thus far on our travels! Recommended to families and couples alike!

    « Bama Bound »

Stayed overnight here on my way to visit friends in Texas and then on home to Alabama. This was a very nice hotel. There was no elevator so I had to lug my huge bag up the stairs. Luckily, the young lady at the desk was a bit stronger and she carried it up for me. The room was nice and quiet and breakfast the next morning was awesome. Hope to come back to Albuquerque some day.

    « Great Stay & Fly Package »

Stayed overnight here for Park & Fly Package. Staff was very courteous, gave us a room close to the lobby, and packed us a breakfast bag to go since we left before breakfast was served. Shuttle driver was friendly and helpful, even at 4:30am. Convenience to the airport is AWESOME! We caught a 5:50am flight with no trouble. Beds were comfortable and hotel was quiet despite proximity to airport.

    « Very nice hotel »

Yes, it's near the airport, but in two nights, we never heard an airplane; it's quiet. The staff is very nice and welcoming. The rooms are well decorated and clean. In the late afternoon, snacks are served in the breakfast area. Breakfast is good; a variety of pastries, breads, and cereals. Also there are the usual hot breakfast items; eggs, hash browns, bacon, biscuits and gravy. Also waffles, fresh fruit, juices and yogurt. There is also a nice pool area. It is near the U of NM, and the restaurants and shopping in Nob Hill are just a five minute drive. We will definitely return.

« Great rest and convenient location! »

I was traveling for work and really needed some rest and relaxation and this place delivered for me. I enjoyed the convenient location that was close to University of New Mexico's campus, which meant a lot of great restaurants and cool shops to kill some time. It is super conveniently located by the airport, too, and yet I didn't hear planes flying over me all night. The room was great, the directv was a pleasant treat with ALL the channels, and the staff was awesome. Would definitely recommend staying here, especially to the regular traveler.

    5
    « CLOSE TO EVERYTHING »

This is a very reasonable Motel to stay at. The suites are very roomy and clean. The staff are friendly. I would totally recommend this Hotel/Motel. We stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer. I would ask for a ground floor room as they do not have a lift, however, the staff are very willing to help with luggage up the stairs. Plenty of rooms to stay in and very close to eating houses along the same road. Very impressed with this place!!!

« Perfect accomodations for our brief stay! »

I recently stayed at this hotel while touring through the southwest with my band. We were on an epic drive from Orange County to Dallas with only time for a brief stop in Albuquerque for a few hours of sleep before heading on. We checked in late, around 1:30 am, and the clerk was very friendly. She and the other employee in the lobby were also very helpful about helping us figure out where we could park our trailer for the evening. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. And the selection at breakfast in the morning was fresh and well-stocked and hit the spot before we hit the road again for Dallas!

    « paper thin walls...ADA non-compliant »

People next to us talked all night and it felt like they were in the room with us. There is no elevator. There is no automatic door opener at the main entrance. How in this day and age they can get away with that, I have no idea. Clean enough. Early morning desk staff was surly. Extremely convenient location to airport and shuttle drivers were very friendly.

    4
    « Good airport hotel »

Very close to the airport, this is a good hotel if you have a very early morning flight. Shuttle bus to the airport starts at 4.30am and only takes a few minutes. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is no restaurant or bar but there are several places to eat close by. As we had an early flight we did not have the breakfast offered.

    « A room to sleep »

The bed wasn't comfortable at all! Tossed and turned. Even my Fit Bit recorded it. The shower and very little power. I couldn't get all of the shampoo rinsed out. The bed was very low and found out later it was because it was a handicapped accessible room. (That makes sense.)

I stayed at this hotel en route to some music gigs in St Louis and really enjoyed my experience. The staff was really friendly and the room was very clean and quiet. The location was very good with everything I needed near by including a very good breakfast with many choices at the hotel in the morning. I've stayed in Albuquerque many times in the past and this one was the best. I would highly recommend this hotel!

« Good hotel, helpful staff »

As with all Best Western hotels this one was great. The free breakfast was by far the best we've had in a hotel lobby. Food was fresh, tasty, and hot. Many choices and constantly maintained. The front desk clerk helped us find a good, safe parking place for our large RV. She went above and beyond what other hotel's staff would do. The one problem was the sticky mess on our carpet that needed to be cleaned up. We stuck to the floor and had to wear shoes the whole stay. Other than that issue we would definitely stay here again.

All aspects of this hotel exceeded expectations. We were met by friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable. The beds were good quality as were all amenities. The hot breakfast was appreciated. Great place especially for the price!

    « A great visit! Excellent staff! »

I stayed in this hotel recently and was warmly greet by Brad (and Holly) at the front desk. Brad went out of his way to help me with all kinds of things that I had to do during my stay: giving me directions, carrying my luggage up and down the stairs, making change, suggesting restaurants and was super friendly and genuine. I will definitely stay here again when I am in town! Thanks Brad for a wonderful stay!

« A great choice at the Albuquerque airport »

We always stay here when flying out of Albuquerque. The hotel is clean, quiet, attractive, staff is friendly, and the hot and cold breakfast is tasty and generous. We were offered a balcony room at no extra charge when I expressed interest. More than worth the value price!

« Clean, convenient, good value! »

I had to extend my trip by one day and was glad to find this hotel. It was right down the street from where I had stayed for 2 nights on a Hotwire deal, and this room was every bit as nice for just a little more $$$ than the Hotwire place. The staff was particularly noteworthy, making me feel both welcome and valued.

    « Helpful staff »

The staff was helpful. The spa and outdoor pool were clean. There were lots of breakfast options. There wasn't a working fitness center. I lowered the rating because we enjoy working out on our trips.

« Comfortable, Affordable, and Convenient »

Free WiFi, free breakfast, free shuttle service to the airport (which is next door), comfortable beds. It's a win - perfect if you have an early flight. They also will drive you anywhere within a 5 mile radius.

    « Nice People »

These people go out of there way to make you feel at home. They serve a night time snack, that helps when you just about live in a hotel room. The only thing is the breakfast area could be somewhere else besides the lobby. Its a little crowded.

« The way it should be »

This is a hotel priced right and run right. The management has obviously schooled the staff well. Everyone is friendly and so helpful. The rooms are clean and welcoming, very comfortable. The location near the airport is so convenient, and it's easy to get downtown if you have time for special dining. My shuttle to the airport was offered with cheerfulness and earnest wishes for safe travels. I would go back to this property in a minute.

    « Highly recommended! »

This Best Western Hotel is not only 5 minutes from the airport, it has excellent staff, very good free breakfast, nice rooms and offers free shuttle rides to attractions in the area. We especially thank Eric the shuttle driver for courteous service and an enthusiastic description of the city and its attractions. Front desk staff was very attentive, also. At $129/night, this hotel is a gem!

« All good except room location »

The room was great but noisy as my room overlooked the front of the hotel which is across from a restaurant. Sometime between 4-6am I was disturbed by a diesel truck engine running and beeping noises like it was reversing. This seemed to last about 30 or more minutes. I would stay here again but would definitely ask for a room in a different location.

    « Best Western Inn & Suites...is the best! »

What an outstanding place to stay. Clean, nice decor in the rooms. Outside and surrounding lawn areas kept up nicely. Pretty good afternoon snacks and breakfast is not just coffee and cold donuts. You can't go wrong here. Wish all the other hotels I stay in were as good. I meant great!
