Big Bird Inn Wawa, SureStay Collection by Best Western

It is in a great location near restaurants. Staff was very helpful and managed to change our room to a ground floor level as we can't climb stairs. Hotel was clean and nice. The room was a bit small but it was very comfortable

No AC in the lobby or breakfast area. The sheets were the worst I've ever slept on, the room was clean, the place could use a remodel, it's very tired. Good restaurant nearby. Front desk friendly and helpful.

Very disappointing stay. We stopped at this hotel as a halfway point on our trip and were shocked to find a huge bug in the bed. To make matters worse, we found the same type of bug crawling around the bathroom. It was absolutely disgusting and made us uncomfortable for the entire night. We barely slept because we were worried about bugs in the room. When we brought the issue to staff, they were dismissive and did not seem concerned. We expected the situation to be taken seriously, but it was not handled appropriately. Unfortunately, because of both the cleanliness issue and the poor response from staff, we will not be returning and would not recommend this hotel to others.

Room was clean and the bed was good. Breakfast in the morning was pretty sparse. You're better off to go down the road to Tim Hortons.

First comment to management. 1. Get your sign updated that has some type of reference as being associated with Best Western or as an affiliate or their rewards program. I would have driven right by and gone down the street to the other motel that is brightly lit and welcoming looking, if I didnt find out beforehand you were a best western affiliate, I wouldnt have stayed. Otherwise, the room was very clean and comfortable. front staff was friendly and helpful, very close to the centre of town. Room rates were excellent for an Ontario northern town.

Excellent breakfast, Gemma cooked the bacon and eggs to perfection!! Room was clean, shower was great, beds were a little small for two adults.

2 night stay, beds are a little small, but overall excellent stay. Breakfast is great, and Gemma's bacon is extraordinary.

I was unfortunately given the mentioned room 314 and would agree with the others complaints. The rooms itself was fine but people were going out the back door with dogs until midnight and early leavers exiting from 4am plus immediately outside the window is the unofficial smoking area ! Essentially it's good for four hours sleep. It's actually a little dishonest to rent the room, it should just be storage or for v late drop ins but hopefully Great Weatwen will sort
