"Great place to stay"

The staff was so kind and accommodating. The lobby is really nice, a good place to hang out and meet with friends. My room was very clean and they had the AC on for me. That was really nice since it was 100 degrees outside. I would stay here again.

I stay here at least twice a month. Dependable, high quality service! Justin is a pleasure to see every time I stay! The rooms are clean and meet my business needs. Wifi is fast-the business center is convenient-breakfast has many choices.

"Disappointed, but it was at least clean."

Cleaning and kitchen staff were great. Breakfast lacked options for diabetics who are dairy and meat-free. Check in took 20 minutes because their system was not working and the lady at the front desk was new. Lastly, I had 3 pending charges for 3 separate rooms when I had only reserved 1 room. Staff acknowledged the mistake, but were unable to remove the pending charges for 2 days. That was ~$600.00 of our funds we could not access and we had to eat the snacks we brought with us; meaning we could not buy dinner or lunch. I let staff know this and all they did was apologize. This really impacted our trip especially since my partner is a type 1 diabetic. I believe something could have been offered to us to make up for the fact that we could eat actual food for 2 days (other than the complimentary breakfast).

this is a nice hotel. property was clean, room was clean. service was prompt and friendly. enjoyed the breakfast. check in and out went smoothly. we stayed on a week day/ night so i can't comment on weekend busy times.

Very friendly staff and the room was clean and comfortable. I have nothing negative to say, I only spent 1 night there on a business trip but everything was great. Coffee maker in the room was a plus!

The second night we stayed at the best western plus we found ants crawling on the floor we told the front desk and they sprayed around the ants and said housekeeping would come in and deep clean and change the bedding and everything the next day but never changed anything. Throughout the rest of our stay we continued to find ants all over the toilet, bathroom area and even in the bed. They finally changed us rooms on the last night of our stay and gave us a slight discount. I do not recommend best western plus.

"Best western wenatachee"

This best western was recently remodeled and is nice. Rooms are pretty typical. Hot tub hours are from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Their breakfast was pretty awesome. Lots of families and very family friendly atmosphere.

I wrote my last review of this place too soon! The morning that I was checking out, I woke up to the sound of lots of dripping water - I looked in the bathroom and water was coming through a crack in the ceiling at a steady pace. I called the front desk - they told me to get a bucket to put under the leak- what? I asked where I should look for a bucket (!). They suggested the ice bucket in the room - it would have overflowed in less than a minute. They really couldn't have cared less. The bathroom was flooded and unusable unless you wanted a cold shower from the ceiling. That was the last straw - I called their corporate number and filed a formal complaint.

"How Rude!"

I would've enjoyed my weekend at this hotel more if it weren't for one rude staff member working the late shift. I couldn't get into my hotel room — it had been snowing — so I went back downstairs to see if I could get replacement key cards. The young woman working the counter was busy with a pizza delivery guy, which is fine, but then when she turned to me, it was major attitude — like I was the one inconveniencing her. After giving me attitude and a lecture about key cards not working when it's cold & stored near magnetic credit cards (she could've been nicer about it), I went up to my room. I had to call back down to the front desk for a wake-up call. The same young woman with the same apathetic attitude. She yeah-yeahed me, even though I thanked her. I guess she was too busy to make a notation because I never received the wake-up call for 8 a.m. The other staff members, however, were exceptionally friendly, warm, and efficient. Also, it's fairly noisy at night with guests banging around and our fridge making weird sounds. But the location is very convenient and the hotel does have the usual amenities. It only takes one person to sour an otherwise good trip.

"Stay Somewhere Else"

I would give this hotel a zero if I could. We stayed for several days and each day got worse. They checked us into a dirty room; ran out of pool towels then room towels; no management on-site; no one to enforce pool rules when small children left alone without supervision; cleaners didn't clean the room the following day; tried for 5 days after we left to speak to management - finally did and they said they'd get back to us-they didn't. Plenty of other hotels to stay in - so next time we will stay somewhere else.

Thank you for your comments. After speaking to you, I found that the FD Agent immediately placed you in another room due to the error. Furthermore, the hotel was full of guests during this particular weekend and there is no way to monitor a pool full of children and adults and know that any particular child is not accompanied with an adult. Finally, we are a limited service hotel and do not provide 24 hour housekeeping. When our housekeepers have finished their assignments they leave and any "do not disturb" rooms, regardless of whether the sign is removed after their departure or not, is left for the next day. I'm truly sorry you are unhappy and want nothing more than to turn this into a positive experience; however, your social media slander campaign speaks volumes. Diane

"Poorly managed. No clean sheets/towels!"

Pros: This hotel appears newly renovated and nicely appointed. It seemed clean, though possibly only because everything was fairly new when we visited (Feb 2019). It has an indoor pool and hot tub and a workout room with newer equipment in excellent condition. Close to downtown Wenatchee. Basic breakfast. Overall seemed nice. Cons: Had to wait 30 minutes to check in, despite arriving after check in time (4pm). It was a busy holiday weekend, so maybe expected. Front desk staff seemed overwhelmed and inexperienced. Booked a room for a family of 4; room had a King bed and a pull out (full size) couch. No problem; kids can sleep on a pull out. Opened bed and there were no sheets. Nothing in room. Called front desk and they said they'd bring some (they didn't) Went down to front desk (8pm at this point) and found front desk empty. A queue of people were forming looking for help. 20 minutes later I located the front desk person somewhere else in the hotel (on the phone). Front desk person gave me damp (possibly dirty?) quilts and told me to make the bed up with those as there were no sheets (she was also pulling damp towels out of laundry to give to people asking for towels). I was not willing to make bed up with wet quilts. After almost an hour of excuses, she finally took me to an empty room to strip the (hopefully clean) sheets off the made up bed in there. Overall it was the most dysfunctional hotel customer service experience I've encountered in the US. If you expect sheets or towels at hotels, avoid this place. Also made me question if they were even washing/changing linens regularly at all. Will not return. This review is for Best Western Plus at 815 N Wenatchee Ave

"Very little sound barrier between rooms"

I was kept awake most of the night due to being able to hear the next rooms conversation almost word for word through the wall until the morning hours. There is no noise barrier between the walls. The bed and pillows were very comfortable though.

"Could not sleep"

Stayed there for a night as could not get any space in Leavenworth. It's short 30 mins drive from downtown leavenworth. Hotel is nicely located near the downtown and lake area. No complaints other than the sleep quality (which matters the most I believe, after the tiring day in leavenworth). I could not sleep the whole night due to noise made by bed, take a little turn and you would wake up with the noise.

Staff made me extremely uncomfortable when I brought pizza back threw the lobby, asking for my food. This is not what I expect from staff when I am staying in their place of work. It was awkward and honestly I avoided the lobby the rest of the time as to not have to deal with it again.

My wife and I visit Wenatchee before Christmas annually. Best Western had a promo on where you could use their Rewards program at 10000 points per night. As we had accumulated enough points for 2 nights we chose this hotel. The Best Western Plus hotels that I have stayed at are usually fairly upscale in amenities compared to theif regular branded hotels. It is located in downtown Wenatchee. Access is fairly easy. On arrival we were met by the friendly check in staff. We confirmed our stay was going to cost us only our points. As per any hotel stay we had to provide our credit card for incidental/security charges. We asked for a quiet room and located it on the second floor. That night a construction crew moved in. The walls are not that thick so we had to endure two buddies talking loudly for most of the night. They finally shut it down very early next morning. A few hours later they were up and at it, getting ready for work. So much for a quiet room. The same event occurred the next night, but not to the degree of visiting. While it appeared that the hotel was not full, it puzzled me why they would put a construction crew in the middle of an area where a guest had specifically asked for quiet. This was brought to attention of the hotel. The breakfast is decent, with the usual items, waffles, eggs, toast, yogurt etc. The location was ending what appeared to be a re-Branding of the hotel. The pool was closed. Workers were painting so there was the expected odours. The staff work very hard at this hotel to meet the needs of their guests. On check out, we were assured our stay was covered by our points. Our final bill showed a $0 balance. A month after our stay while reviewing our credit card statement, I noticed that this hotel had charged us for a night. I contacted the hotel direct and was assured the matter would be referred to the manager. After a few days, I made a follow up call to the hotel where I spoke to a very friendly clerk. He confirmed the charge to our credit card was indeed the hotels mistake and that a refund would be applied to our credit card. After 3 weeks passed and no refund, Best Western Corporate was contacted and finally a refund was received. One would think that if a guest is going to receive a refund for a hotel billing error, it would be expedited. Unfortunately we still incurred charges for trying to get our money back in the form of international long distance charges and then the charge refund difference in the currency exchange rate. While a relatively small amount, it was the fact that the overcharge shouldn't have occurred in the first place. I think this speaks to the customer service values of this particular location. Be sure to check your charges on your credit when visiting this location. Keep all your hotel receipts for a long time after your stay. You might need them to validate your claims if any. Try to establish if the area where your room is, is indeed going to be quiet for your stay. Another nice looking Best Western is a few blocks away and should at least be considered before booking this location. While not a "Plus" location, sometimes less is more.

"Pretty Great Overall"

My husband and I stayed here after doing a day trip to Leavenworth. We had booked early and let the front desk know we planned to be in for a late check-in.They noted this then asked what view we wanted! My husband said the best one. Well, we didn't arrive late, and went to check in. As we expected, the room wasn't ready yet but they told us we could use the pool while we waited if we wanted to. We didn't, so we went to the mall for a bit then returned and checked in without issue. All of the staff was extremely lovely and we even had a welcome note from the housekeeping staff welcoming us to the room. It was colorful, handwritten, and has stickers on it for decoration! Really a nice touch! The room did have a great view as we expected. Picture below. It was also very clean and stylish. The linens were clean though the thermal blanket did have a decent amount of hair on it from other people. Not a ton and certainly not disgusting. I can tell the blanket really grabs on to hair so just be warned of that if it is something that bothers you. It is sandwiched between the top cover and your sheet so skin contact isn't a big concern. Also, no crawlies anywhere is sight and everything was well dusted. The TV was nice and big, the fridge was a good size, and the carpet was spotless. The only problem I had with the room was the mattress. It was uncomfortable for my hubby and I. We are both side sleepers and the mattress is a firm spring mattress with a rather thin pillow top. Just not great for side sleeping. Stoma h and back sleeping is fine. Finally, we did spend some time in the pool and hot tube and I have no complaints about that.

We recently took a trip to Leavenworth when we do we stay in one natchy rates are a little bit better and you get more for what you pay for. This location was newly remodeled and was very cozy. I feel like they may have been understaffed however the staff they did have was warm and welcoming. We had multiple rooms and they were able to accommodate side-by-side. The swimming pool didn't get updated and it did seem pretty full but the kids had a great time period the breakfast gets packed however biscuits and gravy a hot waffle eggs and sausage you can't complain. Will deathly be returning to this location.

"Worst experience ever"

Worst experience ever. The room was never cleaned up after the previous guests. They didn't even change bedding and sheets. Toilet was dirty. Had to call them to clean. Later found out that sheets wasn't changed! They ended up moving us to another room.

"Exceeded expectation for the price"

Great little hotel with a lot of amenities. Inexpensive and a convenient easy access location. Friendly and informational staff. Breakfast is VERY crowded so get there early or come at the end, the seating is limited and if you have children it's very hard to carry the plates and drinks back to the room.

I had to wait 40 minutes for my reserved room. That was bad to have my family and I wait. Especially at night. Once in, the hotel was fine although breakfast was cramped. The facilities were otherwise cleanly.

"Fire alarm went off 8 times during the night"

What else do you need to know? Horribly mismanaged. I felt like I was in a torture chamber. We spent an hour outside only to come back in to the alarm going 7 MORE TIMES over the next few hours. Never mind the dentist rubber bands on the floor, the hair that wasn't cleaned up and no tissue in the room. Should have known when we showed up at 5PM and there were no rooms clean and ready. Best Western in Wenatchee is a joke! Stay so where else!!!

I forgot the plug for my phone charger one day and the second day I lost my phone. The staff was extremely helpful in both cases. I was able to get a plug near by. They helped with phone calls so I could track down a coworker to get my phone back. The only unfortunate part of it was that the place booked up before my coworker could also get a room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was standard fair of most hotels, but they out of several things on my second day fairly early. I would stay again.

I booked a room for myself and my 95 year old mother. I asked for a first floor room since there is no elevator. They said they'd try their best. When we got there we had a first level floor room that was near a door that we could park our car near. The breakfast offered was very good and had a good variety. Room seemed very clean.

The room was standard and comfortable. I was there on business with my mother and daughter in tow. The hotel is close enough to shopping and food with a short drive or a little longer walk. The hotel is being updated, I forgot to take pictures but the lobby is modern and the breakfast is pretty standard. My daughter got the stomach flu the last night and the staff was helpful and sympathetic. All in all I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed the night here after a concert at the Gorge and found it very nice and clean. The front desk folks were very friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean and well equipped. Breakfast was great but they did run out of eggs. The staff worked quickly to refill them but by that time we had decided on something else to eat. My biggest issue was that after returning late at night from the concert there was absolutely no parking. There were a few trailers parked in the lot taking up several spaces and construction equipment taking up the few remaining other spaces. Overall, this was a great stay for the price.

I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn, which is now a Best Western Plus. I came checked in late(around midnight) and was greeted by the sweetest girl named Elizabeth at the front desk. She had the best attitude and a sweet smile, especially for it being so late and had an answer for all my annoying questions. She made my stay enjoyable. I would definitely stay again.

We arrived looking for the Comfort Hotel but thought the GPS had the wrong location. The signage was for a Best Western. Apparently we were told they are in the process of changing names. Hey Choice get your act together and let your clients know. Overall the rooms were clean and service was good. Nice breakfast was supplied. No complaints other than name change and would recommend.

Great hotel, called and chang3 a reservation because we were getting to Coast faster. They switched our reservation from Monday night to Sunday night. Checkin was great, room was new so no complaints. Would recommend anyone in area. Mexican Restaurant across was great also

"Comfortable Yet Noisy"

Mel called the Best Western Plus: Rooms are clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast is ample, however, noise carries through this hotel as though you're standing next to where it's coming from. If you are a light sleeper ask for the top floor.
