"Brand new hotel with very good service and nice design"
I ended up in this hotel as it was the only one with availability in a radius of 70km. I still do not know really why it was like that on a Tuesday night, nor do I really know where the hotel is located and what the area is like. But: This hotel is very nice. It opened in May 2020 and it still smells new. Reception evening staff member was very helpful, gave tips how to get there quickly over the phone and kept the only room available just by word over the phone and did not torture me with credit card numbers. Hotel itself is located a bit on the hilly side of the city (again, please forgive, I really have no idea where I was). navigation got me there at the end. The room is well appointed, a bit 'alpine hut style'. Very comfortable bed, nice linens and the fact that you could darken the window completely was nice. I had a very deep sleep and woke up relaxed. Bathroom brand new and spotlessly clean. To my surprise, the hotel operated a full breakfast buffet in Covid-19 times -what a delight ! Delicious fresh eggs any style through the transparent kitchen. Freshest coffee options and nice cold cuts and local cheese. What more to ask for ? Covid-19 hygiene measures observed throughout the building, by staff and guests. Made me feel comfortable. Car park in front of hotel was for free, but they might run out of space at high occupation, so better try to book place with reception. Staff: I always give high importance to staff culture, and here I have no complaints. Very friendly and helpful, patient and really genuinely nice. The evening colleague alerted me that I would not have TV in the room (not every room was fitted with a receiver yet, as they just opened). I found that not a problem and a nice gesture to alert me beforehand. Staff makes and effort, which I always honor, and here they get a ++. (thanking the cleaning lady who supplied me a few plastic bags for my car waste). So if you (for whatever reason...) happen to be in the area and look for a nice sleep, I very much recommend this property. You won't be short of anything here. Great staff and peaceful sleep included.
