"Good room, near airport but very thin walls!"

I stayed here for one night as I needed to be close to Veracruz airport for a very early flight the next day. Check in was simple, I had a double room for 700 pesos which was very modern, very clean and well equipped with a brand new remote controlled air con unit, flat screen television, enormous and comfortable bed and bottles of drinking water supplied. The bathroom was excellent with a large walk in shower, extremely powerful water pressure (which is rather unusual in Mexico from my experience) and a trendy sink. Had an okay meal in the hotel restaurant, there is a petrol station next door for any other supplies. I wasn't sure about my proximity to the centre of Veracruz but the hotel is on a main road just round the corner from the small airport, although there was no traffic noise as the soundproofed windows dealt. All in all a good one night stay only marred by the paper thin walls! At about 10pm my neighbour turned on the television and it might as well have been in my room it was so loud and clear. I was so tried from travel that I fell asleep but woke at 4am to find I could still hear it, although it had been turned down a bit. I didn't bother to complain as I got up 30 mins later. Use this hotel if you need to get to Veracruz airport.
