Best Western Plus
We travel between Florida and NY often and usually stay at Best Westerns. This was our first stay here and we were not disappointed. Convenient to I-75, clean, modern and reasonably priced. As with most BW, this one offered a good breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable. When looking for hotels, we usually check for a decent selection of places to eat nearby; anything but fast food! There were several not far from this hotel and we had a very nice meal at "Mom and Dad's Italian Restaurant" just 5 minutes away. We've added this hotel to our list of places to stop in the future!
My wife and I stayed at this delightful property on our way from Pennsylvania to Florida. The check in, check out process was quick, the clerk, Joshua, was friendly and helpful (thanks Joshua!). The room was large and very clean. The included breakfast had lots of choices and the coffee was excellent. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
We have been traveling for business and have come across some real losers from major chains. We have found that Best Western on average is good but this hotel goes way beyond good. Staff is great , rooms super clean , working items, and lobby area is inviting. Breakfast is good with different selection. This buckeye even tasted grits with recommended toppings. Will tell everyone this is a winner. Exit 22 ( our lucky number)
Travelling along I75 between Tampa and Atlanta is straight, flat and boring. Midway between the two cities and just across the Georgia border you will find Valdosta and a rather nice Best Western. It's nearest neighbor is Cracker Barrel which you can walk to for dinner. The breakfast is the normal reliable fare for Best Western.
What an enjoyable stay! We were returning to Florida from our stay in Murphy, NC. The hotel appearance inside and out is very welcoming as was the staff at the front desk. We had our dog with us, so it was wonderful to find a great hotel that accommodates pets. There was a large area in the back for walking our dog. The room we had was on the second floor and was quite large with many amenities - two televisions, a microwave, a refrigerator, sofa, dining area table, WIFI, etc. The breakfast was very good, especially the biscuits and gravy! We will definitely make this a stopping spot on our way to NC!
Very clean and well taken care of hotel. We stayed in a suite it was very roomy for 6 people. It was nice to have a kitchen area with a table for the kids. The furniture was clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to your needs. The hot breakfast is fresh and delicious no matter what time you eat. Everything about our stay was positive and we will be back to stay again!
This hotel staff and owner's family went above and beyond for me when I lost my wallet! What could have been a nightmare getting home they turned into a small hiccup in my day. The rooms here are spacious, clean and comfortable! The guest book in the room had all the information I needed from restaurants to local attractions to information about the town. If you ever need a Hotel in Valdosta, GA I recommend the Best Western!
Though this hotel is on a less developed interstate exit, which perhaps accounts for its lower rate than what might be comparable properties on other exits, this place does not disappoint. Great air conditioning. Good breakfast. Cheerful staff. Stay here.
Large clean rooms and great breakfast items/presentation. Hotel was in a great spot related to I75 highway and there was a fantastic BBQ place 1 mile east of hotel. PRice was great for the amenities and even included a laundry room in hotel for guest use.
Very nice place to stay with large, roomy suites, with a microwave and small refrigerator. The pool area is beautiful! Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, and all the usual. Plenty of restaurants within driving distance. Would definitely stay here again.
My family and I stopped here the week of the 4th as a pit stop late one night. The rooms and staff were great and our dogs were allowed to stay with us. Breakfast the next morning was hot and plentiful. We had never stayed at a Best Western before but after this experience we will be back!
We were traveling with family and children's friends so we had two rooms. We were tired after spending hours on the road. We checked in at midnight. The desk clerk was fast, attentive and helpful. We needed linens for the sofa bed in one room and he had a package ready with everything in it. The room was very nice, roomy and clean. Temperature was easy to control despite hot, humid weather outside. The blackout curtains did their job. Having TVs in the bedroom and the living room allowed for our different viewing tastes even though the stay was short. The breakfast bar was prepared by a very quiet lady who took pride in her job. She appreciated our finding her to compliment her efforts. All the bread items were very fresh. Some of us "grits" experts know that to make good grits one adds milk instead of only water. The taste and texture was just right. She monitored the food levels to replenish often rather than overfilling. The hot cakes were better than those from the restaurant the day before. The breakfast meats were warm. I've stayed in many hotels which charged twice the price but were not nearly the same level of quality. No, this hotel is not on oceanfront property but neither is Valdosta. I can't imagine a better value or cleaner hotel for travelers looking for a place to stay in this area. We were outside of Atlanta the evening before, paid more and received far less. Now if they could figure out how to fix the traffic on Interstate 75 and 285, everybody would arrive happier!
We always stay here once a year in June. The pool is clean and refreshing. The bedrooms are wonderful. I really love the one bedroom suite. I feel so relaxed. The staff is very professional and personable. The one maintenance issue was taken care of in less then an hour! The breakfast room is airy and has a nice variety of foods and drinks. Thank You!
We have stayed at a lot of dog friendly hotels and this has been the best so far. One of our dogs does not travel well, so we are usually pretty miserable when traveling with her. On top of that most dog friendly rooms arecramped and the walls are thin which just adds to the misery. This hotel was wonderful! The suite was spacious and perfect for spreading out and getting space. The room was nice and quiet and we were right next to the exit door which was very nice for getting the dogs in and out. The suite was super clean and we we're actually comfy the entire time! Great hotel for dogs!
I couldn't tell you the last time that I stayed at a Best Western. But I do remember that it was not something to write home about. I have to say that with their Plus brand, they have stepped up their game. I love the studio suite configuration of the rooms. Felt quite spacious and homely with the addition of the sofa bed couch and kitchen area. The room was very clean, the breakfast was fantastic (loved the grits!), and the staff was quite friendly...Very good value for the price!
Southern Class and Hospitality! Today I am wrapping up a 5 week trip where I've traveled from Naples, Florida to British Columbia and Back. I've stayed at a lot of pet friendly Best Western plus and also La Quinta's. The experiences have been “mixed”... without a doubt this is the BEST Best Western Plus I have stated in. It is luxurious, spacious, clean, and the staff is super friendly. I have a large kitchen suite on the ground floor near an exit door. (Well worth the upgrade!) There is plenty of nicely maintained room to exercise dogs. In addition there is a lovely swimming pool & the southern landscaping is beautiful. Complimentary breakfast is provided. Rates are modest.
This was a late night stop for us and we were pleasantly surprised. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and clean, which was especially nice after being cooped up in the car all day. The pool and hot tub area was attractively decorated and meticulously maintained. The breakfast was great. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
From check in to departure it was an excellent experience. Every employee we encountered was friendly & accommodating. The pool area is very clean and welcoming. there were umbrellas available at the tables & nice chairs, Breakfast experience was great with many options. I love Best Western Plus!
This hotel is an excellent place to stay. It has spacious rooms, comfortable beds, super clean and a great staff. The coffee there is awesome. Most hotel coffee is lacking, not this hotel. The breakfast is excellent. What really makes this place really great is the staff. This hotel has a staff that truly care about their jobs. And making sure you have a great stay.
An excellent hotel for the short stay or the long haul. The staff is beyond compare. They are friendly as well as professional. The property is maintained very well. The pool and hot tub are great. They put on a great breakfast for a hotel. The location is easy to access and close to many destinations. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well decorated. They even have Kuerig machine in the room instead of the typical hotel coffee pot.
The exterior and entry are very well kept up. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The desk clerk welcomed us and enquired about our trip when we approached the desk. The check in process was quick and efficient. The breakfast was plentiful, hot items were kept warm, and cold items were refridgerated. The server was friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean. The hot water for tea could have been warmer. I can understand the rational for not doing it but I would appreciate an extra blanket in the room so I don't have to get dressed and go to the front desk if I get chilled during the night. There is a great resturant near by, called The Smoking Pig.
Clean! Friendly staff! Comfy beds! Worked out great for stopping long the way. Lots of parking. Easy access. Friendly staff that didn't mind us checking in late (12:30 am) I'd recommend it for quick stay, not sure about long term or anything in the area.
This hotel is located conveniently by I-75 and away from the congestion at other locations in town. The beds sleep comfortably, and the breakfast is hot and delicious. Thank you for creating an inviting atmosphere where families can rest and enjoy your amenities.
Was passing through and needed a place for the night. Good location and the price was right. Everyone was friendly and the breakfast was all right. However this location doesn't get NBC Sports channel on their cable and I had to go to a sports bar, and spend $20, to watch a hockey game, all after driving 500 miles. I really didn't like that. If they had Directv they would have received a 5.

Thank You for staying with us on your way through. I am checking with our cable provider to see if NBC sports channel is offered. We currently have 90 TV channels and 11 are sports channels. Hope to see you again on your return trip. Thank You again we really appreciate your business. Save Travels Jerry Evans Owner Best Western Plus Valdosta
Great price. Clean rooms. Friendly service. For a hotel stay, about as good as you can get for value. My customer service was outstanding and I enjoyed a clean pool and hot tub during my stay. Breakfast was on par and check out was easy! I recommend BWP!
Nice clean and comfortable room. You don't have to feel that you can't touch anything. It is always very clean. Great bed and the breakfast is always excellent. Staff are very friendly and accomodating. This was our second time at this place and we will definately stay again when travelling thru Valdosta.
We stayed on our way back home after a Florida vacation. We had the excuetive suite that had a full kitchen. It was huge. Sofa bed was brand new. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Check in was a breeze. Breakfast was very good. I would stay here again.
This is a great hotel. Highly recommend. We have had many “ breakfast included” breakfast over the years, but I must say this is one of the best. The grits were incredible. (A hard thing to do). Everyone in my family really liked the breakfast. The room was great as well. On trips to Florida, we will now stay here. To be honest, we had not done much research as it was a last minute decision to break up the drive. We weren't familiar with Best Western Plus hotels but are now fans. A wonderful nice surprise. It is the best we have found on I-75 ??
Would stay there again. Biggest room ever. Television could turn in any direction and the picture quality was great. Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful and gave us good advise on where to eat.
I really liked this hotel. The hotel was excellent for staying with a pet. We had a great meal at the nearby bar-b-que restaurant. The staff was warm and friendly. Our room was clean and fresh smelling. Loved it!
Rooms are always clean, breakfast is great, staff - super friendly! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I stay here at least 1-2 times a month while doing business in Valdosta the only downside is trying to get out the hotel because of road construction. But hey, you will definitely sleep easy.
The people employed at this motel are very good; they are friendly, very accommodating and caring. That said, the rest is not so good. The first two of four floors are for pets, and many of the dogs can be serious barkers. The sheets are really low grade. The TV channels are tuned strangely. The room lighting is dim because of low wattage dangerous CFL bulbs - they really need lower wattage brighter LEDs. There is plenty of hot water, but it is at a low pressure.
We have stayed here on many trips when traveling between the Tampa area and Atlanta. It's about in the middle of the two cities if you want to have a leisurely 2-day drive. Best Western is one of our 2 choices when we are on the road. The staff members in Valdosta are competent, friendly and helpful, and we have always found a clean, comfortable room waiting for us. We also feel safe here - the reception desk is staffed 24/7. The first time we stayed at BW Plus Valdosta, we asked if there was a restaurant where we we could get a good, hot meal. The young receptionist asked if we knew about The Smok'n' Pig BBQ. It's been a family tradition to eat there ever since.
My stay was great. Wild Adventure signage was visible as soon as I walked in! I was heckled a little bit by the girl behind the desk but she did not know I was staying for the night. Room was big and bed was comfortable. However, my room did smell rather bad/not clean. I was told that you BW is pet friendly but my room smelled like a dirty dog. An air freshener would have done wonders! I really appreciate BW sharing a room and look forward to my next visit!
This is our go to hotel on the way to Florida. The hotel is very clean and I believe all rooms are suites which is nice to relax in without sitting on the bed. They have an extensive complimentary breakfast. The staff is very professional and friendly. I would recommend reservations as I believe they are booked frequently.
We stayed there because it was convenient as we were traveling from Ohio to Florida. Our room included a full kitchen and plenty of space; we had a king bed. The room looked as if it had been recently remodeled. Free breakfast was good and helped us get on the road faster the next morning. The only slightly negative aspect was that there weren't many places nearby for dinner. All in all, we would, and probably will, stay there again.
Second night stop on way to Florida from Ontario. Good location just off l75. Very clean with a very comfortable room. Efficiency unit with small fridge, sink and pub table with 2 chairs for eating. Nice staff.
I don't stay in a lot of Best Western hotels but chose this one upon recommendation by a family member. This facility was wonderful! Well kept up, friendly staff & great appearance. Very pleased with the property & will stay here again next time we're in the area!
We stopped for a break in driving. Pleased with the cleanliness of the room. We unfortunately were placed in an pet friendly room. There was a faint wet dog smell and the room nextdoor had a dog that barked constantly until the owners returned. Then the owners were loud and laughing at all hours. We slept horrible and was up by 3:30 am. The breakfast attendant was kind and let us eat early even though it said it wasn't open yet. We were ready to leave by 6am. Before check out I asked if we were to stay again how to get a room away from the dogs. I was told to request a room on the 3rd or 4th floor.
This hotel has a Superb rating on hotels.com and rightfully so. There is nothing that needs to be changed about this hotel. I know why they give it the Plus at the end, great customer service and amazing accommodations are what put this property above all the others. Our room had a small kitchen with table, a separate living area with couch and chair. The bedroom has 2 comfortable queen size beds and a large bathroom with a walk in shower. I am thankful for this property on this exit because we dine at the Smokn Pig BBQ right down the street. We make the long trip to Florida from Ohio and this hotel makes for an easy transition from road to food to bed. The morning breakfast offers a wide variety of fresh options. Scrambled eggs, grits, sausage patties, sausage gravy, cereal, yogurt, bread, muffins, danish, fresh fruit cups. You'll definitely want to stay here again and again!
Valdosta is the perfect stop on our way south in January and north on the way home. We loved the location and your pet friendly policy. Your friendly staff is a plus and breakfast is included. Our Labrador retriever really enjoyed the spacious grounds surrounding the hotel for her frequent walks.
This hotel is pet friendly and quiet. I was traveling alone with my 2 Yorkies and they even felt welcome and comfortable. It was clean and safe and had many dining options nearby. The front desk was friendly and breakfast was very good with plenty of options.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Surprised at how nice the room was. Tons of upgrades and super spacious. Stayed 1 night traveling I-75 and we'll Def stay here again. Pet friendly. No weight or breed restrictions. Would have preferred tile floor instead of carpet. It didn't smell, it was my dogs obsessing about all the amazing things THEY could smell that kept them up and active. So glad we found this hotel! They were awesome
We did not get a good nights rest to start. It was due to other guests not the facility. The staff handled the problem quickly and sleep did come afterward. I plan to stay here on my return trip in a few days. The hotel is very clean and the employees are friendly and courteous.
This hotel was very nice. Our room was very big, even had table and chairs, sofa and there was still so much room. Loved the huge shower. There is a waffle House next door that is open 24 hours which is great because the hotel doesn't have a restaurant. Breakfast was wonderful, eggs, sausage, and all the usual breakfast food. Hope to return here !
Excellent hotel. Professional and friendly staff. Very close to I 75. Good restaurants nearby. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Good breakfast and eating area. Overall just a nice hotel and good value. Up scale hotel at a good price. Always well run.
This hotel is located on the north side of Valdosta at Exit 22 off of I-75. It has a nice kitchenette with a sink, full size microwave, small refrigerator, Keurig, table and two chairs, and lots of cabinets. The king rooms are large with a comfortable sofa. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and shelving under the lavatory allowing you to leave the counter clutter free. The bed was firm, but comfortable, and there is a charging station with 2 USB ports and 2 outlets on one side of the bed. A full breakfast buffet is available that includes scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and sausage gravy, grits, oatmeal, English muffins, assorted pastries, pancakes, fruit cups, yogurt, juice and milk. There were no bagels or fresh fruit. Pets are allowed on the first two floors. A laundry room is also available.
The room was very large, clean and comfortable. It was equipped with a sink, refrigerator and microwave. The staff was professional, polite and very helpful when I had some questions. It was very easy to get off and back on to I-75. I usually stay farter south in Valdosta. This location is much quieter and less congested.
The hotel is very close to where my son and his family live in Hahira. He is stationed at Moody AFB. We were able to enjoy Christmas this year with family and knew that when we came back to our hotel that all was well, clean and taken care of. It's a great hotel and staff. The holiday decorations were perfect!
Fantastic breakfast. Great staff. We had a horrible bed. Very shaky, almost sea sick from the movement when hubby turned or coughed. Very hard. The one and only blanket in room was only a blanket by name. No comforter. The bedding was pillow cases, a fitted sheet, flat sheet & pretend blanket. I ended sleeping on couch, fully clothed, covered by coats the first night, requested extra blankets. I stayed on couch because it was more comfortable than the bed. I will stay there again but separate beds. Dark room. Water takes awhile to heat up. But you can't beat the breakfast & staff. That's why the rating even though not much sleep quality.
The staff provided excellent customer service & were very helpful & pleasant. The location was convenient, the bed was comfortable & the breakfast was good. We would definitely stay at the Valdosta Best Western again.
Due to its proximity to my home and the excellent experience we've had, I use this hotel every year to house my out of town Christmas guests. Always multiple rooms involved. Including pets. A great hotel for a great price with a great location.
Traveling from Tennessee to Florida on I-75 it is worth the drive to Valdosta to stay here. This place is new, clean, the stay extremely friendly. It is easy to get to from the interstate. Our room was really large and the bed wonderful. It was very quiet although in the morning we noticed the parking lot completely full of cars. We didn't realize it from how quiet the halls were all night. We will stay here again.
This is a nice, clean hotel. They offer free breakfast in the morning, which was decent. The room itself was spacious. We had a queen suite I guess? Two queens in one room and a couch/living room and kitchen in the other room. The price was reasonable too. Friendly customer service makes for a great rating as well!
Room was comfortable, quiet, and clean; not luxurious, but certainly adequate for a good night's sleep. Complimentary breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and juice. Staff was pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Whenever we travel south on Hwy 75, When ever we travel south on Hwy 75, we always stay at this BW. It always has consistent quality, friendly staff, clean accommodations, and a good breakfast. It is also close to good restaurants.
This is a new hotel and was very nice, no negatives at all, good value for a hotel in this class. We stayed here for business after staying at Hilton down the road which was more expensive and didn't offer free breakfast. Can't say enough about how helpful the staff were.
Stayed multiple times for business and have never been disappointed. Staff and service is exceptional. I have been to other Best Western Hotels and all have wonderful staff but I find this one in particular to exceed my expectations each and every time.
Excellent- Great staff. Helpful. room excellent. The fitness room was one of the best. Don't miss it. Easy access exit; food short distance downtown. Modern, spacious, and very comfortable. Great spot just out of Florida.
I am also in hospitality business from very long but from check in to check out experience was amazing very nice spacious rooms must stay t this property I can give 200% to this property. Friendly staff and nice clean rooms.
clean, great staff, room was perfect...a few exits north of "downtown Valdosta" and way nicer! real nice property....I really enjoyed it, near by golf course (s) and just a few minuets from South Georgia Motorsports Park....
Excellent value for the price. The check in process was efficient and every person we encountered on the staff was very friendly. It was also convenient to many amenities. We found a great restaurant close by. Def coming back when we need a place to stay in Valdosta.
We were evacuees from Hurricane Irma in September 2017 and stayed here multiple nights. This is a family owned and operated hotel, somebody from the family is there on a regular basis. Staff and housekeeping are excellent. Morning breakfast is the best free hotel breakfast I've had. This is a pet friendly hotel. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.
Let me start off by saying that Jaime at the front desk is a delightful asset to this establishment. She had wonderful customer service skills over the phone when my husband called to inquire about a room, greeted us with a smile and pleasant conversation upon our arrival, and she was there the next morning when we came down for breakfast! (When does she sleep?!) I overheard her engaging in conversations with nearly all of the guests in the common area. She updated me on the BW rewards program and let me know about upcoming opportunities to earn points, and the next morning remembered our conversation and let me know she added the promos to my account for my Winter trip. Of all the hotels we stayed at on our week long trip this was by FAR the best customer service I observed (a close second was the City Center Marriott in Charlotte and only one of the Marriott associates was even a fraction of Jaime's quality). This girl deserves a raise, a bonus, a gold star!!!!! Ok, now about the property! Off the exit on 75, close to a few gas stations, in a less busy exit than the other Valdosta stops. Parking was adequate and well lit, common areas clean. Breakfast was standard hot style (eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy and grits) Room was clean (Suite was large with a "kitchen" and a table). Beds were firm (if you prefer a firm mattress this is the place for you). Shower (no tub). My only issue was that there was a dog (on the 3rd floor) and the owner must have left it alone to go down for breakfast and it barked nonstop for 45 minutes at 8am. When you are traveling and you stop late and try to recoup some shut eye in the morning that's an annoyance, but out of the hotels control. I would probably stay at this property again if the rate was comparable to other high quality properties (read reviews, many are SKETCHY places in this area!).
OF all the hotels I stay in this is a gem. I spend over 300 days a year on the road and stay with top brand hotels. This is probably my favorite one domestically. I have had the best times here. The staff is amazingly friendly and courteous. The property is beautiful and well maintained.

We really appreciate you staying with us. And thank you for the wonderful review. I will share your review with our staff. Peace and Joy to you and your family this Holiday Season.
Stayed on our way back from Orlando to Ohio hotel was sold out. From the first encounter on the phone booking our room, to late night check in to check out and breakfast with fresh flowers top notch service throughout. Jamie at the front desk was awesome and so sweet greeting everyone in the am asking about your stay so nice to hear as this is seldom done anymore - way to go! If every Best Western was run like this you would put the Hiltons out of business. Room was spacious and CLEAN! Pool area looked nice and well maintained as did all of the public areas.

Thank You for staying with us. I will share your review with all the staff and Jamie. Safe travels back to Ohio. I hope you have a nice warm Holiday Season.
Average Hotel. Way above average price which is probably why the Hotel was almost empty. I will stay at one of the MANY other Valdosta Hotels next time I'm in Valdosta. There are MANY great Hotels one exit south of this property that are half the price.
Jerry654, Owner at Best Western Plus Valdosta Hotel & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us during the Thanksgiving holiday. Hotels rates are generally higher during the holiday season and lower off season. Our hotel is very quiet and relaxing even though we were 100% full during your stay. Thanks again for staying with us. Happy Holidays and Safe Travels
Very nice, updated clean place. Very friendly, upbeat and helpful staff. Full breakfast was disappointing. There were no bagels, oatmeal was instant, no plain or vanilla yogurt and no waffles. Room was clean and well appointed. Front desk staff at check in was very helpful with a great dinner recommendation. When I told the desk at checkout about the horrid skunk odor we woke to, nothing was said in response. Besides the breakfast and skunk issue, overall it's a very nice area and great hotel. Good value.
Everything was wonderful will stay here every time we come to Valdasta rooms was nice and clean beds was comfortable staff was friendly and helpful hotel was easy to find breakfast was good very good selection of choices
Newer hotel. We had a 2 room suite with a large living area, couch and television. Very clean rooms, friendly staff who knew the area well and a good breakfast selection. They allow pets and even though we didn't travel with ours it is a nice feature. I did see a few dogs in the property but never heard any noise from them
Very nice hotel outside of the Valdosta interstate mess of hotels and fast food places. Great staff and very nice accommodations. Great dog friendly place. Very quiet area. Valdosta is a convenient place to stop on the way to Florida. Until we stayed here, we had never found a hotel that we really liked. If you like healthy food, be sure to try the sausage and gravy over biscuits for breakfast.
Wonderful hotel, with very friendly and hospitable staff. I met Tara and Carmen at check in and they are wonderful. The hotel is in a great location off of I-75 and was very easy to find. If you are ever in Valdosta, Georgia, I recommend this hotel.
I stayed one week for work, in room 414, i read that the walls are paper thin but this room was located at the very end of the hallway with only a room on one side, with exterior wall on the other, and is on the highest floor. I am a light sleeper so i brought my ear plugs but i didnt need them at all it was quiet and the bed was super comfortable. The only bad thing i can say is even though this has a "kitchen" that consist of a small sink, a microwave, and a good size mini fridge there are NO plates or silverware or papertowels in the room. its just a mock kitchen with several empty cabinets. I have stayed at places with kitchens and plates and silverware and napkins were always provided. The breakfast was decent, and the staff are super friendly. I would stay again for business purposes.
This property is managed by the owners and it's obvious from the quality of service. Staff is always friendly and helpful; from housekeeping to front desk you will always receive a friendly greeting. From the sleeping rooms to the lobby the property is always very clean.
Clean and fairly new. Near I-75. Breakfast was ready early and that made all the difference for us.Staff was friendly and helpfulBathrooms clean a worked. No tub in our room but showere was fine. Had microwave, but no eating utensils or dishes.
The rooms are extremely nice...lots of space, loved the kitchen area. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Overall the hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. Will definitely stay again if in the area.
Stopped here on our way to Florida. Very large, clean and comfortable room. Walk in shower. Wet bar with microwave and fridge. Our room had a sofa, chair, small kitchen table. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Nice breakfast. We would definitely stop here again.
This was our 5th stay at this BW+. Great rooms with all the amenities. Great staff and the breakfast is better than most. Less than a 1/4 mile from the I-75 exit. Pretty good restaurant selections nearby.
This is our go to place when going to Georgia. Very clean, great rooms and best of all our dogs love it too. You would never know this is a pet friendly hotel. Extremely well kept. Great breakfast too
I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the best western. Our room was quite spacious, and was very clean. The front desk staff was friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Housekeeping were also very friendly. The pool area was beautiful. It's location to the highway was definitely a plus as well. I will definitely stay here again when I visit the area again!
The stay was great the room were clean, had a great breakfast, had coffee in room and hot tea, cable TV, had internet, great please to stay, and enjoy, had a nice pool, you could go and exerciser Ii is close to the mall, has eat places closed back, different small towns that you can visited
We stay at this hotel several times a year. We can always count on very clean rooms and excellent service. We highly recommend this hotel. The pool is very clean and the breakfast was very good. Keep up the good work!
Clean, pleasant room. Staff are very eager to make the guests feel welcome. The full breakfast is a definite plus. The pool and spa helped to soothe my aching joints after a long day of driving. I will always look for a Best Western when traveling.
This is a BW Plus. This one is . Very friendly staff at check in. The room is VERY spacious. The bed great. The shower great . The breakfast great. Get the picture? Picked this blind when I was in Tennessee. This has mostly worked out especially this time . I would stay here again .
By far our best experience with Best Western Plus hotels so far. The rooms were clean and spacious. We felt at home with the kitchen area of the room. The breakfast was above par. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely stay at this hotel every time we are in the Valdosta area.
Staff is always pleasant and professional ! Rooms are spacious and clean! Beds are comfortable and breakfast is great with lots of choices!we always stay here when visiting Valdosta for events or VSU visits! Go Blazers!
We were here about a year and a half ago. That stay was because I was too tired to continue. This time I made the reservation here because that stay was a good one. This one was good too. The thing I noticed first was the speed of the internet. Of the 8 Best Western Hotels we stayed in this trip this one had the best WiFi. Why can't they all be like this? It was almost as fast has home.. The ONLY reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that we could hear people a bit too clearly. Not sure if they were in the hall or next door, but it sounded like next door. It wasn't a problem, thank goodness, but the only minus at this hotel.
Our room was like a really small apartment. A pull out sofa would be nice. Only thing that could have been better was if the bathroom was separate from the bedroom. Would definitely recommend if you are staying more than a couple of nights.
Great value. We really enjoyed our visit. Very clean and tidy. Made us feel at home. If you are traveling from the north to Florida, this is a great destination. You will be in southern Florida the next day!
We had a very nice stay at the Best Western Plus Valdosta Hotel & Suites in Valdosta, Georgia that is located conveniently off I-75. After fleeing Hurricane Irma, we made last minute reservations on our way back home to South Florida. We chose this pet friendly Best Western based on the high Trip Advisor rating. Overall, the Best Western Valdosta is a nice hotel. The front desk area and lobby is clean and modern. Jamie and the rest of the front desk personnel were friendly and professional. We selected a king size bed suite - the large suite was clean but the furnishings are old. The kitchen area was a wall of empty old cabinets and drawers. There was a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and small sink plus a very old kitchen table and two chairs. The living room area had a sagging sofa bed. The king size bed was firm and comfortable. The well lit large bathroom had an old plastic lined walk-in shower. The pleasant surprise of our stay was the unexpected choices at the free breakfast buffet that included fresh baked biscuits, tasty sausage patties, grits and sausage gravy and croissant style pastries. Having cream available for your coffee all day was also a nice touch. This Best Western is pet friendly (extra $20 surcharge). There are grassy areas surrounding the hotel to walk your dog. Additional trash cans in the parking lot would be nice to encourage hotel guests to pick up after their dogs.
We like to stay at this hotel because it is back from the highway and is quiet. We also like that the rooms open to inside hallways. We have always been satisfied staying here. We stay here as a stopover while traveling to the Great Smoky Mountains.
This is absolutely the best pet-friendly hotel that we have ever stayed at. They are easy to get to, have an open grassy area for walking and have a staff that is great with pets. We actually work the timing of our trips in this area so that we can stay at this facility. You make traveling with a four-legged family member easy. Thank you!
We needed a place to spend a night while traveling back home. This hotel was very clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was GREAT!! I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are in need of a place to stay while in the Valdosta area!!
You were greeted with genuine smiles each time you entered. You don't see that very often anymore. Clean, organized, smelled fresh...overall I love this new concept of Best Western. I will definitely look for Best Western Plus on all my next hotel stays.
Reliability, validity and dependability are all present at Valdosta Best Western. The entire staff was pleasant and answered our questions. From arrival to depature, our stay met our expectations. My dog did appreciate the large walking area. Hey, the breakfast was great.
Above average on all counts. Looking forward to returning and it was pet friendly which is very important to us. The rooms were extremely spacious with a living area separate from the sleeping room as well as a kitchen area
Our accommodations were, clean, comfortable. The décor was lovely and we had excellent service. The hotel personnel were friendly and helped us find a 24 hour drugstore nearby for one party in our group. They went above and beyond to help us. The quality of the breakfast was excellent; good variety and everything was fresh and nicely presented.
We were refugees from Irma, and lodging was scarce. We had to stay in some rotten places but the Best Western Plus not only made us feel welcome, we were treated like royalty. What a wonderful hotel and staff. The breakfast was beyond what you would expect from a hotel buffet breakfast, and as an aside, they welcomed our dog too! Highly recommend this hotel.
One of the great benefits of staying here besides the great service, breakfast and great beds is being just down the block from the Smokin Pig, the best BBQ in town. The convenience of being just off the 75 exit was nice after a day of driving and another day tomorrow.
We evacuated Florida from Hurricane Irma. We arrived very late after driving 10 hrs on a trip the should have taken 6 and the staff was exceptionally caring. The whole stay was fabulous! All staff were the nicest ever. Very clean hotel. Very respectful of guests stress during this time. We even lost power there for 1 day and they did everything they could to make us comfortable. We felt very safe there. Thank you Best Western Valdosta! We will be back!
We stayed our last night on the way to Florida, driving from Alaska. We were on I-75 joining the thousands of people heading back home to Florida after Hurricane Irma. The hotel was full to capacity yet they made every effort to make us all feel welcome and cared for from check-in through breakfast. This BW had the finest hotel breakfast we encountered across the country. Lots of choices, hot and fresh and well stocked despite the crowd. We felt so lucky to have called several days ahead to have a clean, quiet room waiting for us at the end of a full day's drive. Thank you for making such an effort for so many travelers.
My wife and I stayed here on the way to Florida. And wow what a place. It seems very new. We had a queen suite witch has a kitchenette and a couch and yes 1 queen bed. Our bath room had a large shower instead of a tub. My wife likes a tub. But she did like the size of the shower. Their breakfast has 4 hot warmers to serve hot breakfast. Today's items where eggs, grits, sausage (patties and links), biscuits and pancakes in the 4th one. Their coffee is all medium roast and a bit strong if you like light coffee. The staff was very friendly and eager to help with anything. I was a little nervous with so many dogs here that could see outside but I never heard one barking inside at any time. Did not use the pool so I can't comment on that.
Very nice Best Western . The motel is well groomed and very clean. Not so busy at times but a very nice place to stay in south Georgia on I75. We took a queen with 2 decent sized rooms. Staff friendly and helpful.
Erika was very helpful. SHE was upbeat cheerful and ready to be of service She was well trained and a real credit to BEST WESTERN. A good example for all employees to learn from. We will be planing to stay in the same place next time we pass this way.
First stay at a BW Plus property and we loved it. Had a two room suite with a nice breakfast bar with small fridge, sink and microwave. Very roomy for two people and a dog. Two televisions, one for bedroom, one for the living room. Beds were comfortable. Nice choice for breakfast including hot items Reasonable rates and no charge for the dog. Nice pool with spa. Large area of grass for the dogs and pet stations. We had stayed at the La Quinta here in the past that is currently closed but will be making the change to this property. We had room 103 and later 106, corner rooms.
Every staff member at this hotel just fabulous! Erika helped with booking, Jaime was amazing with extending our stay during a hurricane, Tony on late arrival couldn't be more accommodating, large area for our pups to run. Rooms so clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with dogs, older relatives and family. Setting is in a nice safe area of Georgia absolutely had to write them a wonderful and grateful review!
Great place but charges a pet fee. Employees were wonderful and the breakfast was good. Rooms were very good and the internet was fast. The décor was good and the overall appearance was excellent. If they did not charge a pet fee I would stay there more frequently.
Was great location. Pool and hot tub were awsome. Very clean. Hot tub was hot pool was warm. Great oudoor area to relax in. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms very clean. Cant say enough good bout the hptel and staff..
This is a nice, clean, conveniently located hotel to crash in while making the drive from middle Georgia to Florida. It is convenient to the interstate, has lots of food choices and shopping nearby to grab last minute items and is clean clean clean! Added bonus for autographed picture of Levon Helm. The free breakfast is great, something that you'd pay for elsewhere and not feel cheated. Coffee in to-go cups is a nice touch for grabbing a last cup for the road. We stay here pretty much every time that we're making the trek to Disney and have never been disappointed.
If you want a good night's sleep this is the place to be. The staff was very friendly and it was quiet to be able to get a good night's sleep. The breakfast gives you a good start to the day. Did not have time to try the pool, It did look lovely.
Overnight stay for trip between Atlanta and Orlando. Very easy to find location just off the interstate. Very concerned when we got there at midnight as the desk staff said that we had no reservation. However give him his credit, he checked through cancelled reservations and found the day staff had cancelled my reservation without contacting me as I had an overseas credit card (we're from the UK). A room was found immediately and it was big: very sizeable lunge area and kitchenette, separated from a good size bedroom and bathroom. Concerned as we were on the ground floor not far from reception but no overnight noise apart from an inconsiderate driver who got in his car and sat revving his engine at 5am for ten minutes sorting out his sat nav, clearly not the hotels fault. There was no noise from the interstate however. The only reason this gets a good not an excellent was the breakfast. It was basic, staff had no interest in refilling what was used up and had no interest in clearing tables either. I would however recommend this for a stay.
A very clean, quiet, comfortable room with a very pleasant and competent staff of Erica, Tara and William. Being on the road 9-10 months a year, this is one of the finest for the price. Will be staying here anytime I'm in the Valdosta area and in need of accommodations!
I was very happy with my stay at this hotel and very satisfied. Anytime I'm in Valdosta GA. this is the hotel I'm going to. I highly recommend it for it's excellent staff great rooms and convenient accessibility to the interstate and the area. But don't take my word for it check in and see for yourself.
Called around 9 PM and got a room. Staff was very friendly. We had a minor issue with the room, staff responded immediately corrected the situation and even discounted my room. Very well handled. Nice pool and workout rooms. Breakfast was very good.
BW Plus Valdosta offers quiet, comfortable rooms ... a varied and delicious complimentary breakfast ... friendly, knowledgeable and efficient staff. We stop every year as we travel to Florida. The consistency brings us back Year after year.
This Best Western is excellent in every way. Beds & Pillows are 10 plus. Did not want to get up. Enjoy this hotel more than than the 4 & 5 star hotels I have stayed at. Staff are professional and so easy to deal with. We stay at a Best WEstern when the location is convenient. I highly recommend this hotel and promise you, the best experience of any hotel you ever stayed at. Complimentary breakfast has a nice variety of items. I especially loved the muffins!
We always stay at this Hotel on our way to North Carolina. Our 10 year old English Bulldog loves riding in the elevator. Staff are great to us and Wyatt. Breakfast works out very well especially when you travel with a furry friend.
Just off interstate- quiet country like setting, great for pets, newly remodeled. Accommodating, Friendly staff. Stayed here twice so far when going through- and always a pleasure! Nice rooms, good breakfast.
Nice location; not as hectic as most and very peaceful setting. Clean and attractive; well kept and most of the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is fine but plan on getting there early as they don't always replenish the items such as fruit and yogurt. Seems that they hurry the clean up after breakfast and shut down early.
This was one of the best rooms we have had in a while. Huge room very comfortable king size bed. Shower instead of tub was nice change. Clean hotel non smoking. Couch was also comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave a plus.
SUPER CLEAN! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE...Joshua & Erika were both on top of it! Erika answered all my questions over the email! She polite, responsive, and accurate! Joshua was amazing! Friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable! You could tell he took pride in the hotel & his job! He even showed hospitality to our dog!!! THAT GIVES HIM BROWNIE POINTS WITH US! The rooms were spacious! SUPER CLEAN! The shower was HOT! Breakfast was ok....but great to grab and go to start out the rest of our drive. The grounds were also SUPER CLEAN! We will stop here again on our travels to ATL!
This was an excellent place to stay whether it be one night or an extended stay. Pleasant and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Even having to pay a little extra for the pets, it was still an excellent value. The continental breakfast offered a wide variety of items to suite everyone.
The service and overall appearance both inside and out was fantastic. No problems compliant.take or suggestions, reasonable value and examples fly as the website said it would be. Location easy to access.
We had a great experience at this hotel. Upon check-in, we were promptly greeted by an extremely friendly young lady (I wish I had gotten her name). She got us checked in quickly and put us in a corner room. The room itself was quite spacious and we had ample room for the ton of stuff we brought with us. The kitchen just had a small fridge, microwave, Keurig, and toaster and no dishes or cutlery, so we did have to grab some from the grocery store. But the beds were very comfy and the bathroom was clean and large. The hotel grounds were very clean and well manicured, and the inside was always clean in the hallways and elevators. The pool area looked nice but we didn't end up swimming while we were there. I'm assuming the housekeeping supervisor was the one who came and checked to see if we had service and if we were satisfied with it one morning. The breakfast wasn't bad - sausage, eggs, biscuits, pancakes, grits, gravy, assorted donuts and pastries, cereal, and juice. I liked having coffee down in the lobby whenever I wanted. If you have pets, this is a really nice and clean hotel. It didn't have an animal pee smell in the room, which many hotels we've stayed in before have had. We will definitely stay here again if need be!
Friendly reception, clean and fresh lobby, manicured grounds, and a perfect room! This will be a regular stop for us! Everything is maintained so well! Great staff/Great property! Also, literally located right off of the exit ramp! Couldn't be easier especially if you're arriving tired from the drive!
Very nice hotel that accepts dogs. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was large and in good shape. Nice suite the only thing missing was plates, glasses and utensils. There are cabinets but nothing in them.
This hotel was great!!! All rooms are suites. Very clean!!! Lots of space!!! right off the highway easy to get to, breakfast was nice and hot The young man who checked us in was very patient with me while I looked up my certificates.
I loved this hotel. We were at the tail end of a two week road trip so we had stayed at a lot of hotels of varying quality, this was one of the best we stayed at. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, the room was clean, and as a pleasant surprise, they had grits on the breakfast bar, which we'd never seen at a hotel breakfast.
Another good stay at this hotel. The pool was good for kids, and very clean. The room was good, we were in a suite with plenty of room. The room was clean, and had a nicely done bathroom. The breakfast was well done with a variety of breads, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and eggs, sausage, etc. Good coffee to boot! I will definitely choose this place to stay again in the future.
After a long day on the road, we were ready for some rest. It was an amazing experience at this Best Western location. The office staff were helpful and supportive of our needs. Breakfast was delicious, and very family friendly.
The room was enormous, clean and modern. I always thought of Best Westerns as a step above a Motel 6, but my experience at the Valdosta Best Western, both with Brian at the front desk and the quality of the room totally changed my opinion. Because of my experience with at the Best Western Vladosta I will be staying at a LOT more Best Westerns in the future!
enjoyed my stay very much good food and friendly staff and CLEAN ROOMS!!!!!! The location is convenient to the interstate has easy access to the facility. parking is good and the grounds are well maintained.
This was the best hotel to stay in. I have stayed a several hotels in the Valdosta area and this was by far the best. Would highly recommend. The room was very clean, staff was friendly and very polite. Breakfast was good.
The hotel was neat, clean and in a good location for the activities I was involved. The 1st-night stay was $94.00, then the price increased to $125. a night which was unexpected. The staff was professional and the room was cleaned every morning before noon.
Big and clean room. Friendly guest services. Nice free breakfast in the morning. And a comfortable bed!! It was more than I expected and I would definately stay here again!! The front desk people really went out of their way to help us.
I have stayed at this property twice in the past six months. The staff is extremely accommodating, the rooms are spacious and clean and the property is very well-maintained. I had some car trouble and one of the gentleman was able to refer me to a mechanic who assured me I would have no problem with my car and I could attend to it when I returned home in three weeks. It was a minor air conditioning issue. Staff could not have been nicer, the breakfast was fresh and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. This will be my go to hotel every time I travel through Valdosta which is at least twice per year. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.
This was a very clean hotel. We couldn't even tell we were in a pet suite it was so clean. Great location and great staff. Love the size of the rooms as well. Would definitely stay here again if passing thru.
We weren't sure what to expect, not having stayed at a Best Western for many years. Breakfast was great, cookies at check in, new carpet and furnishings, comfortable bed and very pleasant staff. Very satisfied.
This is an all-suite hotel so everyone gets a full kitchenette w/table/chairs and a full-size sofa. The entire hotel is spotless and the pool and breakfast area is very nice as well. Staff is very friendly and courteous. I'm already booked for here, again.
between the train coming thru 3 times blasting it's horn & hearing the water running thru the pipes in the walls & the loud guests on floor above us..it was very noisy. Room was clean and the water pressure was bad.
The hotel room was impressive, especially for the price. Lots of space, and extra comfortable bed. The staff made us feel right and home and they were exceptionally polite and helpful. We would stay here again without a doubt.
My family and I were traveling from Illinois and stopped at this hotel on our way to Florida. The place was very clean, the showers were warm, the rooms were a nice set up with the kitchens and separate living room. The back portion of the hotel was like a mini oasis with pool and great landscaping. If you have a dog it shows that there was a mini dog park behind hotel to walk your dog. The breakfast was good it had eggs biscuits and gravy pork sausage cereals yogurt etc. orange juice coffee apple juice and milk. Nice lobby. Everything was very clean and professional. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Room was well appointed with couch in sitting area with tv. Facility was very quiet and clean. Pod coffee maker which was a first for us in the hotel setting. Appreciated the decaf coffee on request. Excellent bed with loads of pillows.
I was very pleased with this hotel. Everything was nice and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful and it was also pet friendly for my fur baby! I will definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a very clean hotel. I will stay here again! :)
The bathing facilities are very dangerous. When we stayed on 6/26/2016 my wife fell getting out of the shower. The floors had a glass finish tile like the lobby and even though we used the supplied floor mat the mat and her foot slid out and her other foot, still in the shower, slid as it had no texturing there. Fortunately I was holding her and she didn't go down hard otherwise BW may have been looking at a law suit. Having no grab bars in the shower and only the one outside the shower made it literally impossible to safely exit. We reported the incident, but were told the manager wasn't there and he had the forms. He was probably never told because we never heard from anyone. Our latest visit (06/08/2017) was better as the floor was textured in our suit and I got a bath mat from the front desk. I still couldn't sit on the molded in seat as I would just slide right off. Also there are still no grab bars in the shower and being in there is very unsettling. My wife refuses to use the shower at all. I believe BW is leaving itself wide open for a lawsuit with the very inadequate shower safety facilities. If my wife had been seriously hurt before, I would have been seriously considering suing Please address this very frightening, dangerous, and inconvenient situation. Just so you know, I am an engineer and have designed and specified handicap rated restrooms, I know what I am talking about.
the hotel was very clean, everyone was friendly and helpful. the breakfast was wonderful. pool area was clean as well as hot tub area. staff bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. I have stayed at many Best westerns, ( my choice of hotels) and this is by far the best stay ever !
We stayed at the Best Western Valdosta in early May while moving to Washington State. This hotel worked conveniently after needing to stop in Tallahassee and while on the way to Atlanta. The hotel was also a cat friendly property, which was our main reason in staying here (with a small fee of course). We arrived before check-in during a storm and were able to get a room right away. We were placed in one of the corner rooms, which was gigantic! The living room area had a ton of space, plus included a small kitchen. We ended up eating dinner in the hotel room at the large 2-person table in the kitchen. There were two televisions in the hotel room (1 in the living room and 1 in the bedroom). There was ample space to move around and more than enough room for my cat's pet gear pet pen. The room was clean and well kept on arrival, plus had no odor of previous animals. I did end up using the business center while here. Unfortunately the scanner wasn't working at the time, though the front desk was a huge help in scanning my documents in their office. Joshua was extremely helpful with scanning and emailed me the documents twice in case there was a problem. He also was a great help in providing local delivery recommendations. Most likely I won't be back in Valdosta, but I would definitely stay at this property again and highly recommend the hotel (especially if you are traveling with a cat!).
Dog friendly, extremely comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I wold recommend with Best Western to family and friends and anyone looking for a good place to spend the night. This time of year, the outdoor was an added bonus.
This hotel was the final night of an almost two week road trip with my husband and sister. The rooms were the best we had on the whole trip and the best value for the money. The staff was friendly and professional.
This hotel is a jewel in the Best Western crown. Great rooms, great staff and an excellent breakfast offering. The location is a little on the outskirts of Valdosta, but the quality makes up for that.
I have stayed at other hotels in the Valdosta area for the same value, but none measure up to this hotel from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff. The entire staff are very friendly and accommodating and will go above and beyond to exceed your expectations. The rooms are very large and furnished very comfortable. The beds are so comfortable, which is something I especially look for in a hotel. The breakfast bar is a real breakfast with so many items to choose from and the food stays hot !! You will not find another hotel in this are with such a large selection of hot food for breakfast. The hotel is the quietest one in Valdosta as I have stayed at all the name brand hotels. I truly commend the staff at this hotel for a job well done and I have stayed at this hotel 10+ times. Always an enjoyable experience !!!!!!!!!!!!
Stayed here while I. Town for orientation at VSU. Location was convenient. Hotel was nice in closing the room and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would come here again. My kids enjoyed the pool and fitness areas.
This hotel is an excellent choice, with beautiful spacious suites, fully equipped. A little more expensive than I like, but the amenities and breakfast were excellent. The suites contain a fully appointed kitchen, which I was not anticipating. I would highly recommend this establishment.
All rooms are large very clean and hotel sits off the road so this property is much quieter than others in town . We always stay here when visiting VSU and our college child. Staff is friendly and most helpful.
I would stay here again if ever in the Valdosta area. The staff went over and above to make sure my stay was pleasant. The room was large and clean and had everything I like when I travel. Free breakfast with lots of choices. Nice quiet hotel.
We spent one night at this hotel while attending a football game at Valdosta High School. The check in was fairly quick. The lobby is very large, with a big seating area. There was a pool outside, but we didn't have time to use it. The room was a good size, and had a nice little breakfast bar to sit at in the kitchen area. The wall-mounted TV swiveled, so that you could see it from all parts of the room. Breakfast was well-stocked with all the usual items. Parking was free.
We checked in late after driving for roughly 10 hours. This was a stop over before hitting our final destination. I was sorry to leave. Hotel staff was SUPER nice, cheerful, and smiling despite the late hour. Bed was so comfortable and atmosphere was very ambient! Can't wait to stay again!
We needed a place to spend one night and booked this hotel through Best Western. WOW! This was an amazing find. The room layout is awesome. Plenty of space in the room, loved having a mini-kitchen, sofa, and especially a walk in shower. Jaime, on the front desk, was very friendly, professional, and helpful. I only wish ALL Best Westerns were as great as this one. If you are traveling to or through Valdosta, this is the ONLY place to stay.
We have stayed at this hotel for the past 4 or 5 years. They have always succeeded in making our stay pleasurable. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is always good. When we travel we always stay here.
We have stayed at the BW Valdosta several times now and it is one of our favorite hotels - large spacious rooms which have always been clean, a friendly staff, and a reasonable rate - and a very professional breakfast. We love it.
On our way to Florida we stopped half way. The hotel is convenient to getting on and off I-75. The room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The staff was very nice and helpful.
there is a very great restaurant just down the road called Mom and Dad's. Excellent food. Always try to stay here for the very nice hotel and good food. Also nice breakfast buffet. Pet friendly which is a must for me.
Overall this is a nice hotel. Unfortunately, they didn't have cheaper rooms available when I called so I ended up getting an executive suite. My last stay at BW was over 18 years ago and I feel that they have really stepped up in the quality and service of the hotel.
We stayed in the family suite, which was a spacious mini-apartment with a kitchenette, a sitting area, and then a separate bedroom. The bathroom was huge, and the hotel was very nice. Breakfast was fantastic!
We stopped on April 11th for the night & found this location, after reading majority of reviews. The room was clean, simplicity & had all we needed. I was impressed with the Sharper Image electronic device to plug all our "toys" into as well as the new remote controls that can be sanitized! Breakfast was great! 2 dogs got loose & ran the area but this is not the Hotels fault! I would stay here again.
The property was an old Motel that had been updated. It was clean and the room had recently been updated. I had a question at checkout (11AM) and there was no one in sight. The phone at the desk rang & rang with no response. Finally, we just left. I don't know where everyone was, but it wasn't at the front desk.
We visited Valdosta to purchase a home and wound up staying a whole month. The hotel was immaculate, food was great, the room were nice size, great location right off US 75 but was quiet and staff treated you like good members of a family. Any problems, questions, and assistance needed was met and exceeded! Hotel was pet friendly and our dog made friends with every member of the staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
We stayed here on way back from Florida after the La Quinta, our usual choice for pet friendly hotels when on the road, told us their hotel in Valdosta was not ready for guests. This Best Western was a pleasant surprise. Large clean rooms, friendly staff and better than average breakfast.
We have been coming here since about 2012. We split our Orlando trip in half and stay the night here for a night. This has been our favorite place to stay until now. The rooms are getting to be a little ratty. The carpet is fraying in several spots and the bathroom tile is starting to discolor.
The room and amenities were superb not sure what else to say now I'm just typing words so I can get to two hundred so I can get this review sent, but as I see I only have a hundred and sixty five but typing that out got me over two hundred. Love you guys
I have been going and staying at this hotel for the past four years and have always looked forward to my stay...loved the breakfast and the hospitality always shown to my wife and myself ..I cannot wait until next time
My husband and I were traveling overnight to Florida and decided to break up the trip by booking a hotel in Valdosta. We didn't think that the hotel was going to be much because of the reviews that we saw on hotels.com but we didn't honestly care for what we were needing it for. Let me tell you that William who checked us in after a 3.5 hour drive at 1 am was SUPER nice. Very accomodating. The hotel room itself was VERY large. It had a microwave, kitchenette, dining area, sofa with pull out, large king size bed and a nice size bathroom. Everything was clean. We heard about breakfast which was a FULL size buffet with biscuits, bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, cereal and gravy. Overall great experience. Everyone that works there was SUPER friendly as well.
We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions. We have always been treated with respect. It is always quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We travel this way at least twice a year. One of the best.
Multiple stays at this hotel and have never been disappointed. Rooms always attractive, clean, and comfortable. Beds are always welcoming and comfortable. Staff always greets the arriving guest with a smile and a pleasant word. Grounds are well kept and attractive. Breakfast is attractively presented and enjoyable. There is a sitting area provided in the rear of the hotel with ashtrays for smokers. Keeps most smokers from standing at the front entrance of the hotel, providing a more attractive arrival, and making smokers feel accepted. Will continue to make this hotel our final stop on our trips back to Fla.
We stayed here while visiting family recently. This was a very nice and clean hotel. The entire front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Although we weren't traveling with a pet, the hotel is pet friendly. The only negative comment I have is that the bed cover is a bit thin. Otherwise we had a great stay.
My second stay at this Best Western (11/2/16) was a good as the first was more than a year ago. I'm again giving this hotel a 5-star rating in the context of "right off the highway" hotels, where my primary litmus test is cleanliness and service. Both were excellent. This is a pet friendly hotel on the lower two floors. As I am allergic, I was grateful for the flexibility of the hotel staff in ensuring my room was located on a non-pet floor. (I stayed on the 3rd floor.) The room temperature was adjustable and worked well. Many of the hotels is this area are one exit further south on I-75S. The exit where the Best Western is located is basically non-descript and relatively quiet; the other area is more populated with restaurants and businesses, where I went for Starbucks. I enjoyed the less hectic location of the Best Western. For the type of hotels in this category, they are continuing to do the right things here and I again enjoyed a stress-free stay.
I recently visited the Best Western on business for the Sunbelt Expo. Although the event hosts an enormous amount of industries with hundreds of people staying at the hotel I felt immediately welcomed by the front desk staff they went above and beyond making the stay fantastic from walking through setting up wifi to replacing a lost toothbrush always with a sincere smile. The room was very well accommodated with a kitchenette, couch, and ample workspace. The staff at the hotel clearly cares about the individual guest experience even with Expo attendees streaming in the staff at the front desk were friendly with everyone! I stay at hotels often for work but rarely take the time to submit a review, but the team at Best Western absolutely deserve to be recognized for their efforts!
This was a great hotel to stay in. We had a very late night at a near by softball tournament and had to stay overnight at the last minute. This hotel was able to get us a room and check in was very quick. Staff was great. Breakfast was wonderful. Would defiantly stay here again.
We were pleasantly surprised when we saw our room. We never expected anything other than the standard 2 bed, one comfortable chair, and one table/desk w/chair with a standard bathroom. This was a room just at the corner of a hallway. The room had a tall counter which held a small sink, microwave, and Keurig with coffee & tea. This counter had a bar-top with two leather high-back stools. Adjoining this was a living room with a wall mounted TV, a coffee table, couch (which might have opened for extra sleeping-not sure), and two lamps which were controlled by the wall switch. Then... there was the bedroom where there were two queen beds, one lamp, another wall-mounted TV, a dresser, and closet. The bathroom was adjacent to the bedroom. It was absolutely lovely! I only have two suggestions to make it even better. The bathroom is the ONLY SPACE that is BRIGHT ENOUGH for a woman to apply make-up. If it is dark outside you cannot even get daylight from a window, so additional lighting at the mirror over the dresser would be a big PLUS; OR, instead of a dresser, it would be great if there was a sink there so two people could get ready if the commode is in use.
We frequently stay at this hotel as the rooms and facility are always clean and comfortable. All the staff are friendly and courteous. There is always a tasty, hot breakfast waiting every morning. And restaurants are in close driving proximity for the remaining meals.
On my way home to Venice, reserved room based upon the favorable reviews. The reception was very welcoming and prompt. The rooms are spacious, well decorated , very clean and very quiet. The dog exercise area is very large and clean. I had stayed away from Best Western for the past 30 years as I thought they were a step down from the "Hamptons" of the world. I am now a Best Western fan. Also thanks for the great dinner recommendation. The Smokin Pig was the best! Bill
Just one night stay but would definitely stay there again. Clean. Large suite room with a small kitchen area but very usable. It was quiet even though the hotel was very full. Breakfast was a great addition. Worth it for sure!
Only stayed one night, but it was excellent. We stayed in the 3rd floor corner suite (didn't specifically ask for it). HUGE suite with kitchenette, living area and bed/bath. A/C was very good at keeping up. Super quiet hotel, didn't even notice a door slam. Pet friendly hotel, but we specifically asked for and received pet free room. If you are traveling northbound on I-75, watch carefully to get into hotel parking after exiting. It is a little tricky. I missed the turn, but it was dark, and I hadn't checked my GPS carefully enough. Signs are placed appropriately, I just missed them.
I stayed in a spacious.. comfy room with two beds, large living area, including a large bath as well, much like the size of an apartment rather than a hotel room... really nice! The room overlooked the pool with well landscaped surroundings, quiet peaceful. The hotel and room were immaculate.. nice, quiet and very clean environment all around, with a super friendly and courteous staff. The full continental breakfast definitely an added perk! Conveniently located right of I-75 with many restaurants nearby. By far, the BEST place I've every stayed, highly recommend!!
This hotel was the best room clean and bed was the best!!! Breakfast was amazing. We would stay again for sure !! The front desk was welcoming and the parking lot well lite we felt very safe leaving our bikes on our car. Clean clean clean!!!!!
This stay was on our return from funeral services for my father up in Michigan. My parents, husband, and I have stayed here frequently over the past few years. We have always enjoyed the visit. On this trip, Erica was outstanding as we had to keep changing our dates due to Hurricane Matthew. She also assured me that they would receive our medications sent to them prior to our arrival discreetly and securely. Josh was a sweetheart and put us in the same room we always stay in, as if Dad were still with us. Our hearts were sad with Dad's loss & stressed by possible property damage by the hurricane but this staff was wonderful, thank you!
Had the opportunity to stay overnight at the Best Western Suites in Valdosta, GA. Wonderfully decorated room, and the Housekeeping Staff has done an outstanding job keeping the facilities beautiful. I would recommend staying here, if you have the chance...
This property is the best Best Western! The Staff and Owners are the best! Also, for long term visitors/workers, they have great Kitchenette rooms. Highly recommend this hotel over all others in the Valdosta area!
Good for overnight stay, generally clean and well maintained. However "industrial breakfast" non attractive and closes at 9:30 already. So if you want a real breakfast and like to sleep late go somewhere else. No bugs or other living creatureš in the room but noisy aircon and refrigerator. I guess that is best you can get off highway for $ 140 in deluxe King Room.
We have stayed at many Best Westerns across the country. This is, without exception, the best of them. The convenient location, grounds, the friendly staff, the rooms, breakfast, etc. ... all surpassed our expectations. We will certainly stay here again and will not hesitate to recommend it to family & friends.
Great experience, friendly staff, very clean, hotel looks new, the suites are very large, very nice free hot breakfast, dog friendly. We will definitely stay here again on our trips from Naples to Atlanta.
This is easily the best hotel in Valdosta. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms and lobby areas are nice and clean. The beds are comfortable and the room was quiet even with what seemed to be a lot of people in the hotel. The breakfast was the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel.
We stayed here one night on our way to North Carolina. The staff are extremely pet friendly. We have two Shelties we travel with. Both were greeted by all the front desk staff with open arms. The hotel seems relatively new. The exterior is very clean and well lit. There is a giant grass field behind the hotel property specifically for dog walking. It was recently mowed and also well lit. My dogs were very happy to be far off the highway. The room we had was a giant suite with a kitchen and pub table, fridge, microwave and sink. There was also a bar with stools adjacent to the living area. The bedroom was separate with a door for privacy and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was huge. I liked the shower stall without the tub. It was super clean and roomy. The rooms are well separated and we heard nothing once our door was closed. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, very fresh eggs, sausage patties, grits, biscuits and every other type of cereal you could imagine. The coffee was very good and there were several varieties. The dining area was spacious with plenty of tables and chairs along with a television. This is the only place I'd stay if I found myself traveling through Valdosta, GA again. There is nothing negative about this hotel whatsoever.
We checked in this hotel with out reservations. They saw two tired old folks and decided to over charge us. I had the choice to leave and hunt for another hotel, but because we were tired of driving, we decided to pay the $133. and look somewhere else next time. That was almost twice as much as we paid the rest of our trip.

Thank You for your recent stay at the Best Western Plus Valdosta. I have reviewed your reservation and see you paid $112.00 plus tax for one of our upgraded suites. This is the correct rate for the room type. We hope to see you again in the future. Best Regards, Jerry Evans
We have been very pleased with our stays in BWPlus hotels. Our first was in Garden City, Kansas. This was an excellent hotel in an unexpected location. The hotel was beautifully decorated with high quality products. Since that stay my husband and I always look for a Best Western Plus on any of our trips. We have also found that a regular Best Western has a lot to offer. The beds are also very comfortable and good for someone who is very picky about good mattresses.
Best Western located in Valdosta, GA went out of their way assist us during our stay-cation. Extremely clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was helpful and answered questions promptly. I would highly recommend this facility.
This is a very welcoming and comfortable hotel for people traveling with a 45 pound dog. The room was very clean; they had a designated door to take the dog outside; and it was very quiet. The only negatives were that there are not many decent restaurants that are open on Sunday around Valdosta and the take-out was not usually the food we eat. Three breakfast cereals were offered, two of them being sugary ones. Instead of oatmeal, they had grits (which I know is a southern thing but those of us not from the south would prefer something different.) There was not much for someone on a gluten free diet, although the scrambled eggs and sausages which I chose were fine. I would return here but with the knowledge of the limitations.
We were really amazed how nice the suite at this hotel was. Enjoyed our stay and the city seem nice, a lot of stores and restaurants nearby. We had some noise from above us but other than that we did not have any kind of problems.
This hotel was really nice. With a nice sized pool & hot tub. The staff was very friendly, they even suggested a place close by to eat dinner! The breakfast, in the morning, was good. It also allows pets, but only on certain floors. We enjoyed our stay!
Arrived at 10pm for a one overnight with my 86 year old mother. Check-in was quick and easy. We had no idea what to expect so we were so incredibly surprised by the room. I was expecting just a basic room, but it was so much nicer. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We make this trip several times a year and I will definitely be using this hotel in the future.
The staff was friendly, helpful . The hotel and room were very nice and clean. Breakfast was great.Good location right off the interstate.Looked like a great pool, though i didn't have a swim suit. Very good bbq place right down the street.
We received a Manager's Special rate that our host had requested because we were in town for a family event. For under $100 we found ourselves in an incredibly spacious suite with a 10 foot long kitchenette equipped with granite counters and many beautiful cabinets, fridge and microwave as well as a high top table and chairs. The room had a comfy king-size bed with good pillows and linens, wall to wall huge windows, a nice sofa and tables, a storage credenza with mirror and a large closet. The bathroom was large and very clean. We could have easily lived there for a week! The hotel feels brand new, with a warm and inviting lobby/lounge/breakfast room anchored by a fireplace. My husband said the breakfast had good choices and included eggs. Being in Valdosta, there is no Uber, and the front desk staff seemed unaccustomed to calling for a taxi but gave us a number to call (no one answered so we drove ourselves to the event). Would stay there again and highly recommend!
I typically stay at Marriott properties when travelling for business or pleasure because I know what to expect. During my most recent travels I found the Marriott in the cities I traveled through either full or overpriced. As a fan of TripAdvisor I used their recommendation for this property and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Best Western Plus. I would rank these hotels with any of the Marriott chain (with the exception of the higher end Marriott's). If you are looking for a nice hotel at a good price, I would strongly recommend checking out the Best Western Plus
Our stay was beautiful in spite of the storm that weekend. Breakfast was such a delight and very enjoyable. It would have been absolutely perfect if the hotel would have had some hot chocolate packets stocked. My husband is a coffee drinker so he was in heaven... :) Also, I just wanted to emphasize how pleased we were with the cleanliness of the room. This is our first time traveling with our new 10 1/2 month old baby boy and he crawled all around the room (316) without picking up any dirt or grime and we thank you for that. You did a great job and God bless you all!!
Great place to stay. Suites are super and the pool - hot tub area is very nice with palm trees and nice chairs. Staff is very friendly and it is centrally located near I-75. Would be nice to have some snacks to buy instead of just the vending machines which only have junk food.
Staff was friendly and room was bigger than expected and pretty clean. The couches could use some cleaning though but everything else was very nice. Breakfast was good and they have coffee all day which is considerate for long distance travelers
We staying in this hotel while we were evacuated from our home during Hurricane Hermine in Florida. The staff were very kind to us during our time of distress and the hotel itself was very clean, the room was HUGE and we enjoyed our stay there. We would definitely recommend them! My only complaint was that the bed was not great for me, but my husband slept fine. The front desk staff did indicate that they were getting new beds soon.
We travel a lot to see family, friends, take vacation and occasionally for items we have to take care of. Most of our stays are one night with occasional two nights. This hotel was well worth it. Great and comfortable rooms, great staff. I recommend it to everyone
Second time we stayed at this location....great both times. The rooms are clean, bed comfortable, wonderful showers. breakfast is good...fresh fruit...just a great place to stay. We checked in late and was glad there was a room available. Worried the room was across from the elevator...but it was quiet ..never heard any noise...well insulated.
Very nice stay. Got the queen suite / dog friendly. Room 103 very nice, clean. Two rooms with kitchenette. TVs in bedroom and in living room. Kitchenette has microwave sink table and mini fridge. Wish they would replace the saggy sofas, however. Have stayed here several Times and have always been greeted by very friendly staff.
All staff from the front desk counter clerks to the house/maintenance cleaning crew was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast cooks kept the area filled with supplies, fresh food and drinks. Even the trash cans was empty promptly. The hallways, lounge, business room, fitness room, hotel surrounding area and pool was kept very clean. I give this hotel 5 stars :)
We stayed on two separate occasions this month and our stays were very relaxing. With the exception of a mix up on arrival date, everything was very nice. The rooms were clean, cool and with very comfy beds. Staff was friendly and all seemed to enjoy their jobs. Breakfast was adequate and very well tended. Will stay next time I go to GA.
On our move from Tennessee to Florida we planned to stop somewhere for the night instead of drive through in one day. We'd decided on Valdosta. Originally I planned on Exit 18 for the Holiday Inn Express but we were hit with a major rain storm at Exit 22 and quickly got off the freeway. It turned out to be a very good choice staying at this hotel. We had a king size room, which had plenty of space, along with a small fridge, microwave, a small table with chairs, very large screen TV that swiveled so no matter where you sat you could turn it. The clerk suggested a local BBQ restaurant named Smok'n Pig, and it was so delicious. We really appreciated the suggestion and enjoyed a great meal after a long day on the road. The room included a breakfast as well. Will definitely consider stopping here again!
Staff us absolutely the best I've seen in forever. Ericka at the front desk is truly a great welcoming face when you enter the hotel. We had several things going on that weekend. She was patient, kind, and made sure we were taken care of. I think her name was Chari she was extremely helpful after moving I left some very expensive perfume in the room she made sure she found it and gave it to me. She also tried to help my mom find her medicine. Even when walking the hallways the staff stops and ask is everything ok. They even stop to speak. The hotel is extremely clean, pool area and water is clean. The scenery is beautiful. The hotel gives Best Western a Plus as it states. I must admit we were kind of leary when we booked our room, but we were very, very pleased. We will usually book at the HIlton's and Marriot, but we were very much impressed with this Best Western. We plan to meet in Valdosta every so ofen and this will be our choice. To the GM. I hope in some way you recongize Ericka at the Front Desk for her extraordinary service. Her customer service and attention to detail did not go unoticed with my family. Thank you Ericka and may God bless you.
Very friendly staff, very clean, hotel was reasonably quiet. Price was very good. Loud group in the pool but this was not too far out of bounds and could not be easily heard from inside the hotel. Mostly outside the control of the hotel staff.
The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. I love this hotel. The pool and hot tub is perfect. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Valdosta. This hotel is pet friendly, so I can bring my wife and her beloved dog on my business trips here. It is very hard to find a hotel that is this nice and also allows pets.
Staff was great Pet Friendly Our 9 year old English Bulldog loved it Good location Many dinning choices in the area Will stay there again Very nice and functional rooms Convent to I75 and all of Valdosta
This was my first time at this particular BW but I will keep it in my for trips in that area. The room was extremely large and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the Keriig Coffee Maker in the room. Staff was very helpful with directions and any questions I may have had.
Very helpful check-in/check-out staff. Extremely nice, clean room. Comfy bed. Quiet. Totally non-smoking facility. Best breakfast. Tasty, hot breakfast items, not just cold pastries and such. Spacious breakfast area. Easy access to Interstate. Stayed on a Friday, summer travel day, so pricey, but in line with other major hotels in area.
On my most recent trip to Ft. Myers, Florida, I stopped at this location late night en route, having made reservations. From check-in with Erica to check-out with Nikki, I was treated with utmost expedience and respect. This hotel has now become my future regular stopover to any and all south Florida destinations.
One night while traveling, great room, and very nice people at the front desk. While there is not much at this exit, we were able to walk to the waffle house and there is a gas station next door. Used the TripAdvisor site to book and got an excellent price.
From check in to check out...outstanding service from the desk and breakfast coordinator , room & bathroom was very clean, pool area was nice with a heated jacuzzi , excellent breakfast choices. Quiet room & hallways!
Stayed two nights at this hotel. Place is quiet and clean. I examined the bed linens before I hopped into bed and there were no stains on the mattress, mattress pad or the pillows. Would not have stayed if the bed had stains. The towels on the rack looked well worn although they were clean. Was not a problem for me though because I do not use hotel towels. Overall, the stay was satisfactory and I would recommend it as a place to stay if one is looking for a comfortable, safe, temporary lodging.
Clean and easy access from the highway. Staff is wonderful -no issues. Stayed here twice on the way back to Fl from the NC mountains. Would Recommend.Good choice of breakfast foods, good coffee too. AAAA+
we stay in a lot of hotels this one so far was the best and the staf was great we will stay there every time we travel south and back to wisconsin. have a son that works for this company and he enjoys it so much and advised us to give it a try
Every few months, some golfing buddies meet in Valdosta to play the fabulous Kinderlou golf course. We always stay at this Best Western. It is always clean and the staff is wonderful. And they have a great senior rate! We will be back.
I called the night before and made reservations for a 2 queen bed suite. It turned out that I used an expired card so they didn't hold the room. I called an hour out and was told the news but they didn't have any more rooms with 2 queens. But Erika, the night manager, (this was after midnight) gave us two king rooms for the price of the one queen suite. Excellent service, friendly staff, and clean rooms!
This is one of the best motels we've ever stayed in. The place has very large rooms, extremely friendly and competent staff, and excellent breakfast and clean, well appointed rooms. It is our place to stay whenever we are in Valdosta. Right on Interstate 75, it is easy to get to, well off the road so it is quiet with plenty of parking.
This hotel is small, but excellent. We paid for a regular room, but were upgraded to a suite, which was spacious and had a beautiful pool view. The staff is extremely friendly, professional, courteous and helpful. The location is quiet yet close to everything.
Was in town for some military training and I would be staying for about 30 days, I was under the impression that I had a reservation on base but when I arrived to check in, unfortunately they had no availability for me. Needless to say after a long drive from Florida I was a bit disappointed. I started looking for a hotel in the area that could honor my per diem and the only hotel that would even attempt to honor it was the Best Western. Let me start by saying that the location of the hotel was convenient for me with restaurants and shopping only within minutes of the hotel. When I arrived I was greeted by a very upbeat and friendly front desk staff, they had a great room ready to accommodate my extended stay which was equipped with a kitchen which made it very cost effective for me, since I could make my own food instead of eating out every night. The room was clean and comfortable and quite. The staff was always friendly and helpful, they made sure I remained comfortable my entire stay. I would like to thank the entire front desk staff who was amazing, Josh, Nikki, Erica, Mr. William, Dana and of course Kristin who were always nice and professional. The house keeping staff was wonderful in keeping my room clean thank you to all of you for dealing with my mess everyday especially Mrs. Cathe who was such a lovely lady. If I'm ever back in town I will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone.
Having had a long trip from Michigan after being in 2 Microtels that left something to be desired, this place was a dream. Dog friendly, the staff was wonderful, and the breakfast had flavor. The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for my mom, 4 year old, dog and myself, right down to a kitchen table. Well worth the money.
The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was nice, and satisfied my needs. They were locate right off the interstate, which made it convenient. If I'm ever in Valdosta again and need a hotel, I would definitely try them first.
We got upgraded to a suite at regular room price without even asking! I can't say enough good things about our room. Full dining table for 4, fridge, micro, couch, lounge chair in a SEPARATE room from the sleeping area! And CLEAN. Every surface except the bottom shelf of the vanity was spotless. If you're in the area, stay there! The pool and free breaking were great, too.
We always stay here, both on our way to Florida and on our way back. They have the friendliest staff, the most comfortable rooms and the best breakfast! Since the first time we stayed here, we have never stayed in another place in Valdosta.
Clean rooms, good water pressure and friendly staff. It was a good price for a good sized room our room had a nice dinette and living area with two queen sized beds. For under a $100 (before tax) I couldn't be happier! I'll definitely look for another Best Western at our next stop. (Pet friendly too!).
Nice Hotel.....great price and staff is very accommodating. A bit out, but worth it. I highly recommend it. We have stay at Comfort and HIE and this Hotel is much better for the price and staff. nice pool and Jacuzzi.
This was our second stay on our way down to Orlando, and we have been extremely pleased both times. The hotel and the spacious guest rooms are VERY clean and comfortable, and the breakfast always nice! Perfect spot to stop and so convenient to the highway! We will be back :)
Motel was clean and service was good. Location was very convenient to interstate. We traveled with small pet and the motel has plenty of grounds to walk your pet. Breakfast had a good selection. Motel was well lighted and you felt safe.
This is a great hotel in Valdosta. Warmly greeted by reception. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. Very clean and we loved the size. Nice kitchen with table. Living room nice size, good lighting flat screen TV. Bedroom had 2 very comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Hotel is off main road so there is virtually no noise. Bathroom nice and very clean. There were plenty of towels. There was a mini keurig coffee machine which we used while getting ready in a.m. Very nice ice touch. Loved they had local newspaper and US Today at front desk complimentary. Breakfast area very well appointed. Our breakfast was all hot. There were eggs, grits, sausage, pancakes, biscuits, sausage gravy, fruit, yogurt, muffins, donuts, cereal and more! All very fresh. They received an A /100% in their recent health inspection. We felt very comfortable having breakfast there. All employees we encountered were pleasant and outgoing. Great spot to stay while in Valdosta or just for an overnight stay while on a trip. Easy on & off I75. Kudos to this hotel & staff.
We have been in thi hotel for almost a week one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. Beds are extremely comfortable and the couch was so comfy we fought for it! Well kept grounds and pool. This hotel is very pet friendly. Even the housekeeping staff would stop to talk to our dog! There is a very large area behind the parking area for dogs to roam. It is my understanding that the hotel owner's family operates an animal rescue, so the staff is very dedicated to the comfort of animals, as well as the human guests! The service here is outstanding. I am amazed that even the grounds and pool staff are so welcoming. The hot breakfast has been great every morning. Since summer has begun and the hotel is only a few miles from Wild Adventures (a wonderful kids attraction) there were a number of families that were so pleased with the hotel also. I can not say enough about this hotel. Highly recommend staying here! On a final note, there is a guest laundry that has been convenient
coming back from Tenn. we hit very bad weather, because we did not have to be back home we decided to stop before we hit the storm head on. The staff here went beyond to get us a room and keep us updated on the storm that later hit Jacksonville
This hotel has a wonderful, friendly staff and the rooms are perfectly outfitted and clean, clean, clean. It is also pet friendly. The staff was also helpful in directing us to great local eateries and there are several that are every bit as good as described.
A great Motel, but be careful not to place too much faith in your GPS as mine decided to take me off the highway (I-95) at exit 29 instead of exit 22 as suggested by Best Western. Unfortunately, exit 29 is 7 miles away through back woods and a lot of turns. Exit 22 is about 10 seconds away from the Motel. They did suggest a great restaurant, (the subject of another review), and everything about this Motel was great.
One of the nicest hotels at which we've stayed in a long time. Front desk employees were awesome. Room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel was quiet. We will stay at this Best Western whenever we travel through this area again.
We really liked this hotel -- very comfortable, suite-type room, great breakfast. The television was attached to the wall, allowing viewing from the comfortable couch or the bed. The entry included a kitchen/bar sink and tall table with chairs.
Valdosta has many hotel options to choose from. When coming down I-75 you will have three exits to choose from. The Best Western will be off the first exit , #22. The two remaining exits are loaded with hotels and most of the places to eat are in this area. All three exits are close together but the last two are very congested. The lack of congestion is one of the reasons I like the Best Western's location. It is off the highway and away from all the noise. The hotel is very well maintained and looks new. The grounds are nice and the pool and hot tube is very nice. We got a suite, room 302 and were very pleased. Separate living room, bedroom with a door and a full kitchen. Lots of room and two televisions. The bathroom was large and modern with a walk in shower. We had breakfast and enjoyed it very much. Plenty of food options, hot and cold and lots of seating area. I would highly recommend this hotel . Nicki was so nice at check in and check out, 5 stars !
We booked a suite here for a weekend trip to Wild Adventures and our stay was great! The hotel had a nice quiet location away from all the hustle and bustle but only about a 10 minute drive to Wild Adventures. Nikki and the other staff were so friendly and courteous! Our room was very clean and spacious. The kids loved swimming in the pool and my husband & I enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The complimentary breakfast was hot & fresh and offered everything from eggs and pancakes to cereal and donuts. We were really impressed with the quality of service and friendly demeanor of all staff we encountered during our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice, clean and safe hotel in Valdosta. Overall, our experience was flawless and we will definitely stay here again on our next trip back to Valdosta!
We stayed at this property twice during a recent trip. The staff is very friendly and helpful (thanks Erica!). The rooms are large and clean. The included breakfast is very good with a large number of options. We will certainly stay here again when we are in the area.
Very clean and large rooms. Close to the Interstate, easy on and off. Great breakfast included, great rates! Will use again when traveling. Nice pool area, dog walk and smoking area. Nice staff as well.
Located in a very nice area with plenty of places around to eat. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and very nice. We enjoyed our stay! We went there just to rest on the way home from St. Louis (where we stayed at another Best Western we loved) and were very happy that we found this Best Western in Valdosta. Have really never had any problems at Best Western Hotels.
Hotel was clean, comfortable beds. nice breakfast but best of all pet friendly! Great staff! Welcomed our cat and had nice visit with the check in staff. The rooms had kitchen services as well. Made it easy to care for our pet.
Front desk staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Hotel and room was fresh, clean, roomy and comfortable. Breakfast was varied, plentiful and very good. Great location just off of interstate. Will I stay here again? Absolutely!
This hotel offers a great value. A King size room with couch, small kitchenette with refrigerator and dining table for 2. Excellent sized bath with double sized walk-in shower. Easily found just off Interstate. A multitude of restaurants at the next exit about 4 mile away as well as a few nearby. Huge TV that swings for viewing in bed or on couch. Recharging station for your devices. Nice breakfast buffet with hot foods and good coffee. We used this hotel before and after our cruise from Ft. Lauderdale and our flight back from Rome, as we live in Tennessee.
This Best Western has very large rooms, including suites. Some rooms have two TVs and every one I have stayed in has a full kitchen. The front desk staff is always very nice and helpful regarding questions about the area. We didn't have our dog on this trip but my husband and son have stayed here with the dog in the past. Certain floors are reserved for pet owners with their fur babies. The decorating in this place is very nice and it is a quiet location but right off I 75. The breakfast here is the best of all the many Best Westerns we have stayed in. Hot eggs, biscuits, gravy, grits, sausage, waffles, and toast along with many pastries, fresh fruit and yogurt were available. Several types of drinks and great coffee make this a wonderful place to wake up in!
I booked this suite for two adults and 4 girls for our annual Girl Scout weekend trip to Wild Adventure. From the description of the suite, I knew it would have 2 queen beds, a sleeper sofa, microwave and fridge. When we walked through the door of our room, we were pleasantly surprised! First off, I was expecting a mini fridge, not a full size refrigerator. An added bonus was the dishwasher, 2 stove range, pots/pans and dishes! When we walked around the corner to the main room, I was not expecting to have a separate living room with a television then a separated bedroom where the 2 queen beds were located along with another television set. The girls had a blast knowing they had their own television (and the adults as well). The pool and hot tub was great! The girls spent over 2 hours in the pool alone. The staff was courteous and everything was great. On our last night, we decided to order our dinner instead of going out. One of the restaurants listed in the hotel directory in the room was closed but the staff downstairs recommended another restaurant through Cruizin Waiter. Checkout was easy and there were no issues. Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely will be returning again next year!!
It is always a pleasure to stay here. The employees are outstanding in every way; the rooms are spotless! We have traveled a great deal to many different cities; staying in a variety of hotels and motels. We cannot recommend this particular BW highly enough! We highly recommend staying here to anyone in the area!
We have stayed at this hotel on our way to and from our winter in Florida. For us there is no other choice! A clean comfortable and quiet hotel is what you look for when traveling on the road and needing a good night sleep!
Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great...the rolls were fresh..the eggs and grits were warm ..and the sausage tasted like real meat...not some substitute. Both check in and check out clerks were great.
Super clean and new with welcoming staff and fresh breakfast. Great stopping point on the way to Florida. Bathrooms spacious, bed comfortable (could use nicer pillows). Reservations mad on TripAdvisor. Very recommended
This is a fine, conveniently located hotel, which is an excellent choice for leisure travel. This property provides every amenity you could need for this type of use. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and staff were welcoming and forthcoming; seeming to be very interested in your comfort. Rooms will probably be due for updating soon and the breakfast fare could a few more items such as waffle maker. I recommend!
We chose this Best Western because of the great reviews and it was right off I-75. It was a great choice. We had a pleasant check in. The room was huge, clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered eggs, grits, cereal, breads, juice, etc. It was very good and clean. Everything was excellent!
Erica was at the front desk when we arrived. She is so sweet and kind. The room itself was large, clean and so comfortable. Both my husband and myself had a great night's sleep. We would definitely stay here again.
We were booked at this Best Western on our second night on the way to Florida December 29, 2015. Having a flat tire on our camper south of Macon, Georgia we were sure glad to see the Valdosta Best Western we were inline to get there at 5PM but with the issues we had 7:30 was AT. Had our dog with us and this motel was very pet friendly and gave us a room on the bottom floor close to the outside door to the pool and the dog walk. We went to the pool as soon as we got situated and it was very nice to set in the hot tub however in December the pool was open but too cold to enjoy although coming from 20 degree weather in Ohio we enjoyed just setting around it enjoying a beverage in I believe it was 65 out Room was very spacious with couch table kitchenette and king bed. Bathroom was hugh with a large walk-in shower. Very clean free Wi-fi and great TV selection. As in most BW are we had an excellent free breakfast in the morning with the newspaper. The only issue is that they really didn't have enough parking for people pullinga trailer or motorhome I had no issue but I felt bad that I took of 4 spaces in the lot.
We will definitely stay here again. The hotel is conveniently located just off I-75. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good, hot breakfast in the morning. Our room was clean and comfortable. We will stop again on our way through Georgia.
This is as nice of a hotel as I have ever stayed in in its category of the 3 to 4 story limited service hotel off the interstate with free breakfast. The hotel is well landscaped, The lobby, hallways and our room were all very nicely decorated. Overall a very pleasant stay
As a Best Western rewards member I try to stay at Best Western Hotels whenever I travel. As of this date, this is was by far the best hotel in the Best Western chain I ever stayed at. New, clean, comfortable, quiet and with just about the best representative at the front desk when I checked in. Although Mason was clearly in his 20's, he should be the the model for what all front desk employees should mirror. He was so friendly and personable I felt like we were friends. He set the tone for one of the best all around hotel experiences I ever had.
Like the two rooms suite set up. Best Western deserves a second look if you haven't stayed in awhile. Newspapers, in room coffee, swimming pool, wifi, great option for Valdosta area. My daughter is in school at VSU and we always stay here, it's clean, good area, and Smoking' Pig is just down the road!
This was a nice stop on the way to Disney World. A lot of restaurants and stores are located one exit South of here on the freeway, but it was nice that the exit for this hotel was not as congested. Provided an early breakfast on a Saturday morning so we could get an early start for our 3 1/2 drive to Disney World the next day.
We've stayed here a couple of times on our travels to and from Florida starting in Illinois. We travel with three small kids and have found the suites excellent after a long day of driving. The suites are very clean and spacious and worth the extra drive if need be. The staff has always been very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this place!
This hotel is very clean, they have a very nice breakfast room and selection of food items. the people are very friendly and the rooms are very spacious. We have now stayed at this BW 4 or 5 times and have never been disappointed.
As the title states We travel from Florida to Alabama at least twice a year and have stayed in other motels in Georgia but this and the Best Western further north are by far the cleanest and offer a good variety of breakfasts. Now we don't look elsware.
Stayed in King Suite which was really well appointed and very nice. Really clean, updated and they offer a nice complimentary breakfast and 24-hour coffee in the lobby. $10 very reasonable fee to pay to have my 2 small dogs.
I am a Hitlon DIamond but when in Valdosta (daughter and family live here) continue to stay at this location. It may no longer be the newest, but it is clean, bright, comforable and the staff go out of there way to help. Like the suite.
The room was outstanding. Front desk service people were great- especially Mason. The cleaning staff was okay-did the necessities but forgot the small things such as coffee and tissues. The breakfast was good each morning. Pool and hot tub were clean and functioning. Many great restaurants in the area be sure to go to Mom & Dad's. Central location for lots of good riding on the motorcycles.
Checked in for one overnight on way home to Florida. This hotel is close to 75. Hotel is clean and well kept. Had a problem with the internet and the staff went out of their way to rectify the problem.
We would definitely stay here again. Very friendly staff. Room was a suite, spacious and decent decor. Sofa was in good shape and clean. Bed was very comfortable for nap and sleeping. All of the facilities were in good working order. AC worked fabulously. Breakfast was really more than I expected. We only had sausage biscuits but there was so much more. Breakfast was kept stocked and area clean. Continuous Coffee which always makes marks with me:)
One of the best B/W motels we have ever stayed in. If your trip takes you close to Valdosta, Ga---you couldn't do any better than a night or two at this Best Western Plus motel. Why? Because the motel and the rooms and the lobby and the breakfast room are clean and shiny and one of the best.
Other motels were full so we went to this best Western with our dog Frannie Boo. What a pleasant surprise. We picked a king suite that looked out over the back pool (2nd floor). It was quiet and spacious and a very good deal. Franne could go out onto a lawn area that was away from traffic. Beds were good and the place was relatively clean. I'm glad we didn't get into the other motels and would return to this oasis in the island of noise. Had a good night's sleep.
Very nice hotel and staff. No problems at all there. However, we made the reservation when we were just minutes away. We were only offered a suite. I have the feeling if we had just walked in we could have gotten a better deal. The guy on the phone also didn't seem to realize that I could give him my credit card number or receive an email at 70 MPH. We confirmed the reservation as we parked at the lobby.
We chose this hotel when we were traveling through the area. The check in and check out were very pleasant. The building itself is very attractive. Breakfast offered many choices. If we are ever traveling through this area again, we will want to stay at this hotel. Everything was as it should be. Kudos to management!
Hotel is nearby the interstate which make it accessible to restaurants and shopping centers. Only about 8-10 minutes from Valdosta State University. Friendly staff. Clean Hotel. Breakfast could be better, but it is ok.
We needed a comfortable place to spend the night in the Valdosta area. This Best Western combined great reviews with a reasonable price. Staff were all pleasant and welcoming. Everything inside and out was clean and tidy. The room was quite large and comfortable. The only problem was that the tub didn't drain. Of course, it's hard to blame the hotel if no one tells them about it. We did and the staff seemed to be concerned about it. The hot tub was nice in the evening and the breakfast bar was nice in the morning. I would happily stay there again.
Your Kuerig coffee makers in the hotel rooms are an expensive and extravagant piece of junk. They never work reliably. Even your hotel staff people state that the Kuerig coffee makers are hard to use and the directions to use (not available) must be followed exactly or the machine fails to work properly. They say the are compelled to use these Kuerig coffee makers by the Best WesternHotel chain.
one of the best hotels in the Best Western group.accomodations and food was excellent.friendly staff that acturally cared about their clients.the staff made me feel welcomed and I would definitely return.bravo! to all.this was my first time at this location and would recommend to all Canadians travelling south.
Stayed for the first time last year and will always stay at this hotel. It is fairly new, clean, good service, large rooms. good breakfast and very good breakfast. Also near Mom and Dads Restaurant (upscale), our favorite in Valdosta
Love this hotel Have stayed many times perfect location for overnight stop over traveling to and from Florida beaches and out home in Illinois, Pets are welcome which is one of the reasons I pick this hotel every year, Hope that the owners continue to refresh and update rather than allow to run down that I have seen happen with many in this franchise.
Very nice hotel however in a remote area on I-75. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was very good as well. Bed is starting to show it's age & was a little lumpy. Room was amazingly large with sofa, kitchen are with toaster, mini-fridge & I think a microwave.
Three story motel with nice room, good bed and adequate tv although the cable numbers were a bit hard to catch onto. Very good hot breakfast and very helpful staff. Exercise room has only a few pieces and there were no instructions as to how to properly set the treadmills or bicycles. Internet connection was very slow.
My room was very nice, clean, and spacious. I really loved the set up of my room with the kitchenette and sitting area. The bathroom was very nice and the bed super comfortable. The hot breakfast was excellent and there was a variety to choose from.
We've stayed at this pet-friendly hotel twice while traveling to/from Florida with our dogs. Breakfast is great, front desk is efficient but the rooms are dated and the bathrooms, both times, were only adequately clean. Housekeeping could be improved in this regard. We would stay again but we would also consider other pet-friendly options as well.
Very reasonably priced hotel! More on that later! Stayed one night on way to Florida ! Friendly staff. Clean hotel, spacious room with couch. Kitchen area in room was nice. Quiet room except minor walking noise across room from upstairs! Would stay here again. Only negatives is received a call the night before asking to confirm my already confirmed reservation and they do not have express checkout. Price very reasonable for my stay but when tried to get a room four days later it was triple the price!! Hummm! The hotel or the national reservation people could not explain why. So stayed elsewhere on my return.
I was genuinely impressed with this plain but clean hotel. The price was just over $100 for two queen size beds with a living room. There was also a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee maker - a nice touch. There were two TV's, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. They came with those easy to clean, sanitized remotes which made me think twice about the non-squeaky clean remote in our next hotel stop. There was a good hot breakfast with biscuits and gravy, eggs, cereals and more. The only thing lacking was good quality fresh fruit. Only served til 9:30, however. There's free coffee to go in the lobby all day long. The receptionist was the same whether we arrived at night or checked out in the morning. We liked this place so much on our way up to South Carolina from Sarasota that we also stopped back for a stay on our return trip. We managed to snag the exact same room.
this is a very nice property. the hospitality is great and the location is excellent if you are on i-75...you are close to several nice places to eat or fast food...there are issues with the breakfast
We booked this hotel on our to Florida. It was very clean and the rooms, very spacious. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The dining room was a bit small and had to wait just a short time for a table. The staff was friendly.
This hotel was a stop on the way to Florida. The whole hotel was so clean. We got a king suite with kitchenette which was awesome. Nikki at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful! Free breakfast in the morning was good as well. Overall great stay, and we would definitely stay again while passing thru!
Spent the night just passing through. What a fantastic find. Great rate for a great hotel. Clean comfortable rooms very friendly staff. Good breakfast in the morning. Excellent location to the interstate. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
Frankly, Best Western scares me a little bit, so I was on edge as we approached Valdosta, Georgia. What a very pleasant surprise! Begin with the late evening greeting by the desk clerk: very pleasant, very knowledgeable, very efficient. by the way, very good idea for a late supper! A very large, very clean room, very well appointed. Sound suppression pretty good. The bed had the right combination of soft and firm for us too. Overall, a very pleasant, restful overnight stay.
We stayed one night in February of 2016 while driving the I-75. The hotel was easy to find and offered plenty of parking. The outdoor pool is not heated so we did not partake. Our room was excellent with a nice shower, comfy beds and everything was very clean. The wi-fi worked well, the TV offered a wide selection of channels and the breakfast was very good. There were no waffles but the dishes of peaches were very tasty. There was ample seating in the breakfast area with a nice TV to catch the news and plenty of coffee. We booked a room last minute after trying to cheap out on a hotel but were very glad to have found our way to the Best Western Plus.
Stayed here on our way to Florida. Pet friendly ($20 fee) with nicely appointed rooms. Our suite had a full-size fridge, 2 burner cooktop and a dishwasher! Hi-top table in the kitchen area, sofa, coffee table and 2 chairs. Very good and spacious layout. Reasonable rates which included breakfast. Nicer than many BW.
We had the great fortune of recently staying at The Best Western Plus in Valdosta on two separate occasions. First of all let me say that Dana and Nikki at the front desk were so incredibly helpful, cordial and reflected so well the great hospitality of Best Western Plus. The first night we stayed in a King Room and the second night we stayed in a King Suite, which was hugs. The hotel is extremely clean and the breakfasts are extremely good. Without a doubt we would recommend this hotel.
Got a suite and the room was great/clean. All of the hotel staff were great and definitely aware that they are highly ranked on TripAdvisor and understand how to stay that way (friendly, fast, dhelpful). The delivery food from cityspree was awesome and quick to your room (I recommend texas roadhouse).
Stayed at the night on our way home from Florida, Great hotel, the two Girls at the counter were friendly , the hotel was spotless, and our room was so clean and quiet, and the next morning we enjoyed a better then usual breakfast! I will remember the Valdosta Ga Best Western Plus for my next trip.
We always stay here on our way to Florida. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are very clean as is the entire property. Nice complimentary breakfast. Book ahead though as it seems to be full, although our trip usually coincides with Valentines Day weekend.
On our frequent trips to the mid west we sometimes end up in the Valdosta area. This hotel is very well run and the rates are very competitive with the other I 75 hotels. The rooms are large and very well equipped. The employees at this hotel are professional and attentive to yours needs and requests. The breakfast is one of the best that we've had on our travels. It has hot items as well as the usual continental items. The beds are comfortable and clean.
We stay here every time we go through Valdosta. It is the best hotel! Clean, friendly, wonderful rooms, great breakfast. Just the best place to stay. It is the same exit as Smokin Pig BBQ which is the best BBQ around. This hotel is quiet, as well. We love staying here and make it a point to stay in both directions of our trip.
Overnight stay on our way to Florida. Got a king suite, room was very spacious, clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast I. The morning had several options and was good. Had absolutely no complaints. Would stay here again.
I highly recommend the Best Western Plus to stay at. It's convenient to get to right off the interstate, ( a tip of the hat to the manager ) all the staff was friendly, and the morning buffet was finally one that you can enjoy.
This is my first stay at a Best Western in a long time. I made reservations here because of the Trip Advisor rating compared to the prices around and it worked great. I was very surprised to find it above my expectations. The room is spacious and very comfortable. The staff is great and everything is very clean. The room comes with a refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. All great. I would give it a 5 if the decor was a little more modern but very much worth the price. The TV is small but on the wall near the bed.
Very convenient to I-75, yet no road noise, this inn is very nice. Feels like luxury, at affordable pricing, Everything is excellent, and it is clear the staff will do anything to help you. Breakfast might as well be from a restaurant.
Very clean spacious and quiet, near expressway but no highway noise. Limited but tasty and filling breakfast. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, I will stay again if in the area. Ample parking.
Reasonable price and ok front desk. Nice and clean. Breakfast (included) was fine. Free newspapers. Right off the highway -exit 22, i think- and Close enough to everything in Valdosta. Safe. No much in terms of frills but it is fine. Good for the traveler or to place a visiting relative.
I've reviewed this hotel a few times already, and again, I'll just say....we don't even bother booking anywhere else when we need to stop in Valdosta. Sometimes we're traveling with up to 5 people, and the suite is more than enough room. We usually arrive LATE at night, and the gentlemen at the desk at that time is incredibly courteous, always makes sure we have whatever we need, and with a smile...even though it's 3am. This hotel goes the extra mile and you can tell they all take pride in it. We are a touring band and stay in LOTS of hotels, this one beats out many Embassy Suites and MOST Marriott's we've stayed in. No offense to the other two hotels, this specific location just seems to be doing something "extra" right.
This is a family run hotel where they really care about your comfort. I arrived here very tired. The entire staff treated me with such care. The owner even went to a store to buy a wine bottle opener for me. The rooms are very large, clean, comfortable, updated. I noticed the walls are rather thin and I could hear the TV in the next room. However, I will stay here again.
I most often stay in Hilton properties, but there are not any that are reasonably priced in this area of Georgia. I was completely satisfied with this hotel as it was top shelf in every way. I will stay here again when I travel to Florida. My only negative comment would be that they only have a single elevator and so your wait time may be a little longer then normal.
This was the 6th time for 4 friends to meet in Valdosta and play golf. We have stayed at this BW every time and it has always been a good experience. Helpful staff, clean hotel, quiet, decent breakfast, close to gold course.
This is our favorite place to stay on our trip from Wisconsin to Florida. It is a lovely quiet hotel with ample grounds surrounding the building for dog walking. It is the final stop on our trip. The complimentary breakfast is wonderful.
We enjoyed our stay. The king room was large and comfortable with cabinets micro and fridge. Drawbacks were insufficient electrical outlets and the room was not sufficiently dark in the morning. Our room had a shower with no tub.
Average furnishings and beds were firm. Large bathroom with a good size Kitchen area. For the price and location this is a good deal. This room was clean, but there was a stain on the living room chair. We will definitely stay again!
I have always received exceptional customer service at this hotel. I have come on a monthly basis since April 2015 due to traveling for classes at Valdosta State (which they give a discount for in case any VSU students are reading this!). The staff is exceptionally helpful and warm. Erica greets me each time I check in and goes out of her way to not only remember which room I like, but tries to make sure it is ready when I get there (I sometimes get into town a little earlier than check in time). She and the rest of the staff make themselves available, always with a smile. The room is always clean and very spacious. Free breakfast is provided and parking is aplenty. I was able to witness the high level of safety at this hotel when late one night I heard a group of loud people (yelling, drinking, cussing) outside. However, shortly after the ruckus began the cops showed up and cleared them out. I feel very taken care of here. There are other hotels that some of my classmates stay at that are a little less expensive (not much more), but the small amount of money I would save by going somewhere else is not worth what I would have to give up in every other area. If you are looking for a place to stay in Valdosta I highly recommend it!
Nice hotel. Was a couple of miles from most restaurants but wasn't a far drive to get to anything needed. The hotel was very clean and staff were friendly. The hotel felt safe. Hotel is also pet friendly.
This Best Western Plus is pet friendly and has received lots of 5 star reviews. I generally reserve 5 stars for the best of the best. But I agree with the extremely good rating for this property! We're regulars on our southbound trips to the sunshine state. Staff is great, rooms comfortable and very clean. And the secret tip? Call +1 (229) 241-9221 to reserve your room. Exit I-75, turn right (east) to head to the hotel (on your left), but keep going about 1 mile farther east to the Smokin' Pig (on your left) for very good ribs. Go in the carry-out door, up to the counter, and order your ribs and sides to go. You will be on your way to the room in less than 10 minutes. And you will have a proper table to eat on in your mini-suite at Best Western Valdosta. (This is a good time to have your travel set of eating utensils (or pocket knife) with you, as the plastic set from the Smokin' Pig is not the greatest.)
This hotel is easy off and on to I 75. This exit does not have many restaurant choices close by. Parking is readily available. Staff at reception were warm & welcoming. We had a suite. The bedroom area very comfortable. Had walkin shower which we did like. There was a kitchen area which we did not use. Lighting in the kitchen area and living room very poor. Don't plan on reading a book or newspapet. Strange table set up with chairs bar stool height. Not good for family w/children or older people. Light horrible over table. Suite needs some updating. 1 remote did not work but we used remote from bedroom & it worked fine. The breakfast area very clean. Breakfast was more than adequate. The sever in this area did a fantastic job. Coffee here was great. We ended up getting back in car and going to another exit to find a place to eat. 1 restaurant down from hotel that was recommended was closed when we got there. Since there are many choices at other exits not sure we would stay here again. Also they allow dogs and I have to say almost everyone staying here had 1-3 dogs. I personally don't care for this.
From our greeting on arrival to our departure, this was a good 0ne-night stop. Large room (with a large bathroom), good lighting (they have not given in to the bulbs that make your skin look zombie blue) and a better-than-usual free breakfast. Helpful, courteous and smiling staff.
Great room for a great price! The staff was very friendly; the room was super clean, and checking in/out of the hotel was a breeze. The breakfast buffet was also very nice with many options. I will definitely stay there again if the need arises.
Hotel is just off the highway less than half a mile, but far enough that there is no highway noise. Stayed in a 2 room suite and it was just what we needed to take a break from travel. Staff was friendly and well trained. The breakfast was good and the coffee abundant.
Pros: Rooms are very large. Bedroom was separate from living room area (separated by door). Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was also very sizeable with large vanity area and no-step shower. This hotel allows pets in designated rooms and floors. However, rooms are very sound-proofed and no animal, or outside, noises were heard. Con: the only negative was the lighting in the bedroom. Only source of light was the bedside lamps and the large room was a little too dark without an overhead light source. Not sure of building age but everything looks new, no signs of wear and tear. Did not use the pool or fitness area. Easy access off of and on to interstate.
This particular Best Western in Valdosta is exceptional. Every room is a small suite. A very nice breakfast is available in a comfortable setting. It is our "go-to" stopping point on our drive to Naples, Florida from Cincinnati and back. The staff is incredi bly friendly and helpful.
We have stayed several years at those hotel on our winter trip to Florida. We were not disappointed. This hotel continues to be immaculately kept and the service is excellent. They have a nice breakfast served in the morning. On the particular morning that we were there, they were extremely busy and were seating people to eat their breakfast in a conference room adjacent to the lobby. Our room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. We will be back!!
After spending 3 hours trying to get through Atlanta, we needed a comfortably place to crash before proceeding on to Floridafrom Iowa. The hotel is right off the interstate and comes with a kitchen and sofa. Looks like the best hotel in the area.
Most Best Westerns are like the proverbial box of chocolates, you never know what you will get. This was was clean, professional staff, warm and welcoming, rooms were modern, clean, comfortable beds, nice bath towels and pet friendly. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. Just one minor gripe, the room had a 6 foot counter and kitchen cabinets, but completely empty, no plates, glasses, cups, utensils, etc. What's the point of putting a mini kitchen in if you have nothing to use it with?
I made a reservation for this hotel based on the fact that Trip Advisor rated it #1 in Valdosta. I am really curious to know how they came up with that. The walls between the rooms were paper-thin. You heard sneezing, belching, footfalls, etc. Clean, yes. Nice? Eh.
Stayed here on our trip to Florida. Very nice room, extremely spacious. Small kitchenette, sitting area with a large pullout sofa. Bed was very comfortable. Nice complimentary breakfast area. Plenty of towels and good size bars of soap for a hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
One of the nicest Best Westerns that we've stayed at. Very clean, large rooms with kitchenette and couch. Very nice at check in. Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, etc. Only suggestion would be a variety of artificial sweeteners for coffee. Sweet and low was the only one available
My wife and I stayed here on the way from Michigan to Florida. This was an anticipated stop and the reservation was made based on reviews from TA. It is an excellent property, from the very pleasant and efficient front desk personnel, to the well-maintained and appointed rooms, and the ample complimentary breakfast. There was a sleeping area in the room we were assigned and a separate seating area, each with their own TV. The bedding and other accouterments are nicely done. There are service stations near by, with 'convenience stores' as a part of their operations. For restaurants, they are a short drive toward Valdosta (less than a mile). This is rated in the BW inventory as a Best Western Plus, and everything that we encountered indicates it has earned its 'Plus' rating. We would definitely stay here again!
Loved our overnight stay here. Upgraded to a suite since we were traveling with our dogs. Very comfortable beds, very clean, and very convenient. Free breakfast was on par with other hotels, but nothing special. Would definitely stay here again.
I often stay at this hotel when travelling to and from Florida from Georgia. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the customer service from the staff is ALWAYS EXCELLENT. Everyone I encounter is professional, courteous, helpful and genuinely nice.
I had a great night at this place. After being on the road for 12 hours, it was a pleasure to spend a night at the hotel. Late arrival was not an issue. The spacious suite was ready and waiting. While not being able to thoroughly enjoy every available amenity, my sleep was comfortable, shower ran hot and complementary breakfast was good. Overall it was a positive experience.
I was very impressed with this hotel. I had not stayed at BW prior and was impressed. Friendly check-in, nice appearance. The room was large and comfortable. the hot-tub was hot and cozy. Very good value. I would stay there again.
Have stayed here numerous times on our way to cruise terminal in Jacksonville, Fl. Very nice property with plenty of food choices nearby. The only problem we had on our last visit was to much noise in hallways after 11pm. There was a girls softball camp that weekend so there were a lot of kids coming in. Front desk should have told late check in to maintain a low level of noise.
Being a pet parent I have heard nightmare stories of some pet hotels, well let me tell you that this hotel is a fairytale!! It was so clean, quiet and welcoming. The rooms were so comfortable, and well appointed with all the amenities. I had a room with a kitchenette with dishes etc. all of the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel cost was very reasonable and it's located by a residential area/subdivision which was perfect for walking the dog before getting in the car to continue our long trip. They have a phenomenal hot homemade breakfast for all the guests. (Note pets aren't allowed in this area :(). Over all I would hands down stay here again and highly recommend this hotel for regular and pet travelers alike. You won't be disappointed. Talk about going above and beyond with all the stress of my trip I left my phone charger in the room a couple days later when I realized it I called them. They were so happy to ship the charger to me and all they charged was the cost of postage. They know the true meaning of customer service.
Headed home after the holiday. We chose this hotel because of the "suite" rooms. We love having a little sitting area separate from the bed area. The room was great and we had a peaceful night of rest. It was very quiet also.
This was my 2nd stay at this property, and it was even better than the 1st. The gentleman did a great job at check in...explained the amenities of the hotel & everything it had to offer. The room was very clean & quiet!!!! The room was spacious & comfortable. The hotel is very close to the interstate, but yet is a few short blocks away, so no interstate noise can be heard. Great property...would highly recommend to all.
After checking Trip Advisor, we decided to stay the night at this Best Western Plus. So very glad we did! Friendly and helpful front desk staff greeted us with smiles. Our room was huge with a queen sized bed, couch and very clean. Bathroom was spotless with more than enough hand and bath towels. Included with your stay is a wonderful hot breakfast- probably the nicest I've seen offered in my travels. Big dining room, extremely clean, plenty of seats. Sausage patties, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits. Fresh fruit, muffins, danishes, hot and cold cereals. Fresh oj and coffee. All the above served buffet style. Stay here, you'll be glad you did!
Located just off the interstate. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Hot breakfast of pancakes, sausage gravy, biscuits, sausage, scrambled eggs, assorted pastries, fruit, grits, coffee, cereal, and juice. Also just a short drive from the Smoking Pig BBQ, great place for dinner.
Best managed family run national chain hotel in all my years of travel. I needed special care because of an illness. The staff made me feel as if they were taking care of their own grand mother. The only issue I had was that my room did not have a bath tub. There may be some rooms with tubs. I did not ask. Also, I could hear the TV next door. Very convenient to I75. Well definitely return here.
We were very pleasantly surprised at how lovely this hotel was. The staff was great, the room was very clean and the entire hotel was decorated lovely. Would definitely recommend a stay here to everyone!
We were on our family trip passing through Georgia and decided to stay here. This is a great quiet place with a wonderful hot breakfast the next morning. Rooms clean and spacious. When you travel with a large family and on a budget it helps to have a good breakfast included in your stay. Pool was ok but it was too cold for us southern Floridians. Staff was nice and professional. I would recommend this hotel to others passing through.
The hotel was clean, and the bed comfortable. Rooms are oversized, with a sitting area and a kitchen/dining area with microwave and small refrigerator. No restaurants in walking distance, but several close by, and delivery service will bring meals to your door.
We discovered this hotel in 2011 on our yearly journey to Knoxville from Tampa Bay, FL. The rooms are clean, up to date, the beds are soft, the breakfast is wonderful (get the homemade gravy for your biscuits), and the staff is ALWAYS friendly! Needless, to say it is almost 2016 and we still stop here on our yearly visits to Knoxville.
I have stayed at this particular hotel several times over the past 4 years, and I have never been disappointed in anything. Even when all the grandkids descended on them, they were always pleasant. The rooms have always been exceptionally clean, and the breakfast is always enjoyable.
My wife and I drive from Siesta Key to Ohio every year and usually drive straight through (14 hours) so this year we wanted to break it up. We chose to stay at this Best Western based on all off the positive reviews and boy were we impressed. Nikki who was at the desk was very welcoming, the hotel and our room was very well maintained and clean. My wife was so impressed with the room that she said if she had to be in town for any amount of time she would be very happy staying in it. The breakfast was hot, had a great assortment of items and was a great way to start our day heading north. This Best Western will be an annual stop moving forward. We highly recommend it.
Used the workout room at the hotel (machine, treadmills), had breakfast several mornings, everything went well, and I'd recommend! Next time I'm passing thru, this place will be on my short list for where to stay….
We needed to stay overnight in Valdosta on a recent road trip from Atlanta to Boca Raton. Checking TripAdvisor, I was impressed with the many positive reviews about cleanliness and comfort. The BW was a perfect choice, and it was a great room for our family of 4. We almost missed the breakfast buffet which ends at 9:30, but we made it just in time to sample some of the offerings of the day. We plan to stay here again if in the area.
our overall stay with Best wester in Valdosta Georgia was very pleasant and the amenities were very good. Should we make another trip in that area, we would certainly stay at that same facility. the staff was very competent and I would rate the entire stay five star. t
I have stayed at this Best Western many times. I have not had a bad experience yet. It has always been clean and the breakfast is as good as it get's . This hotel is close to many restaurants.I highly recommend this hotel.
We stay at this hotel quite often as our grandkids live nearby. The staff always make us feel at home. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally located next to I-75. Many thanks for a wonderful stay, and until next time.
It is always a pleasure to return to a place that is perfectly organized, consistently clean, and has professional and friendly employees! No wonder I always score 10 points for almost 100% of the questions!
We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Florida. The motel was great, no complaints at all. The breakfast was very good and the place was clean. There just weren't a lot of options to eat, but wasn't an issue for us for this stop.
My husband and I recently stayed here while traveling from WDW to Atlanta. Check in was effortless. What a great room. Mini kitchen, table and chairs, couch, bed and nice sized bathroom. This hotel also had a wonderful hot breakfast. Eggs, grits, biscuits, and gravy. I forgot to unplug my chargers from the wall. I didn't realize it until we got home. I called the hotel and they sent them to me. Really the best hotel we have stayed at in a long time. Thank you staff at this hotel!
Love this Hotel. We have never stayed at a BW plus, .before Room was amazing with Fridge, table, dishwasher and sink. Sitting area with sofa and chair. Bed was very comfy .Best part was the stay was free with BW points!
Great internal experience. People were great, service was great. No problems with the hotel or staff whatsoever. Just didn't care for having to drive 5-6 miles to get to good food and shopping. Probably would stay there again, if that were not a factor.
Although we didn't have any pets, this Best Western has 2 floors of pet friendly rooms. The other 2 floors are for non-pet people. The room was large with a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable.
Lots of soft snuggly pillows and comfy beds. Kcup coffee in room and some of the very best sausage gravy n biscuits at free breakfast I've had anywhere, nevermind at a hotel breakfast! Very friendly staff and a visiting talking parrot in the lobby at breakfast. It doesn't get any better than that!
On our southward pilgrimage to our Florida Vacation Home we ran into some unexpected trouble with our rig. The GPS led us to this particular Best Western (one of our preferred Hotel chains) and we arrived without prior reservations late in the evening. The young lady at the lobby desk was extremely pleasant and courteous. She quickly arranged for a room that was beyond our expectations yet priced reasonably and she went out of our way to ensure we had what we needed and knew where everything was located. Similarly in the morning we had occasion to work with the morning clerk and she too made every effort to accommodate our every request. By the way the breakfast was well set up, plentiful and delicious. When you have unexpected trouble in your travels it makes all the difference when you are treated so well by the people you meet and the staff at this hotel were not only helpful and informative but sincerely pleasant and caring. Our thanks and we have made a note that in future this will be a planned stopover. Although there was no indoor pool they have a well located and maintained outdoor pool.
This hotel is one of the best Best Westerns we have stayed in this year! Super clean, spacious, good breakfast and pet friendly! We would recommend that you stop at this hotel if you want a great place to stay!
We found this hotel in our AAA tour book. It is a pet friendly place. Friendly check in, helpful staff. Great room. We were in 108, first floor, close to a back door, which made the dogs walks convenient. The room was large with a sitting area and a kitchen, very comfortable. Keurig coffee maker made the first cup of the morning a pleasure, without leaving the room. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. One of the nicest breakfast set ups I have seen. Clean, orderly, and again friendly staff. This will be a regular stop on our I-75 trips.
We called ahead for a "dog friendly" room mid afternoon since we were tied up in traffic outside Atlanta. The room was very clean and spacious. The internet connection was better than at many hotels. And the hot breakfast that was served was delicious - we didn't have to stop again for breakfast later in the morning as we usually do. Highly recommended!
Clean comfortable and spaceous room. The staff, especially the front desk, was very friendly and courteous. The breakfast bar was well stocked, clean and very tasty. The only thing that could have made it better was a nice recliner to sit in after walking all day long.
I have stayed here twice in the past two years part of a larger group that had many rooms. Both times I had the same room and it was clean and quiet. The breakfast area is clean and sanitary There are several great places to eat on this same exit. Friends, Mom and Pops and Smokin' Pig are all great choices. I will stay here again.
Great friendly staff. Always smiling. The staff will go out of there way to take care of every customer. They also will help give advice on the area restaurants and activities. I will gladly say here if ever passing thru.
When checking in, the girl at the desk checked our reservation and said we had a queen bed, I thought we had a King.. no Queen she said.. I said ok. .(I was confusing this reservation with another one also reserved for this vacation). I asked if it was non smoking/ pet free... the girl ,who was not very friendly..stated ' If you want a pet free room you should have mentioned that on the reservation'.. I told her there was not a box to click on Priceline for 'non pet rooms', she then stated 'You should have called us then'.. well excuse me if I have been too busy to think that hotels would assume that all guests will not mind being in a room designated for pets. She then said 'we don't have non pets room available...I have asthma,I can't deal with pet dander... well the other desk clerk, spoke up in a friendly manner.. and said' no problem just upgrade them to a King..they had those available non smoking/ no pets...the rude clerk then spent 10 minutes desparately searching for a' Queen room non pet".. when she had already said there was none.. we waited.. and waited.. and waited..' oh here's one' she said.....hhmmm I was wondering how one became available.. but was so tired from a long day on the road.. we said ok.. and went to our room. Our room was clean... but it seemed 'off'.. when I brushed my teeth the sink was way high.. it was hard to rinse...the bed was low.. it was hard to get up from sitting on it. I bumped my knees on steel bars while showering.. the room seemed not comfortable. The bed was extra hard... no 'give' in the mattress.. after a night of tossing and turning.. and back aches.. we woke up at 3 am.. then we realized.. it was a room designated for guests with handicaps/wheelchairs. A handicapped room is NOT COMFORTABLE for persons who do not need the adjustment of sink and bed height etc. The clerk should have stated it was a handicap room. This hotel is clean, close to I75... we had stayed here last year on our way to Florida ( we gave this hotel a great review last year)... but we will not be staying here again...rude people and an uncomfortable nights sleep do not make a pleasant experience.
This is a nice hotel but there are a few issues. The biggest one is the internet. I signed on and started doing some of my emails. Within 5-10 minutes, a message came on my computer screen that someone else was using my IP address. So I closed out and asked my wife if she had logged on to Best Western internet. She told me she hadn't. So I shut my computer down and went back on again. Within 5-10 minutes I got the same message. This time I shut down my computer and stayed off. Another issue was the TV. The TV guide said we had all of these channels but when we would click on some of the stations, it was black or a message said "Channel not available". The other issue was breakfast. Most of the food was carbs, (instant oatmeal, dry cereal, toast and etc.) We didn't find any healthy choices. The price of our room was $121.49 plus taxes came to $141.06. We thought this was an expensive room for one night. I'm not sure my wife and I will be staying here again.
One of the most efficient room lay-outs I have experienced at a Best Western. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, great shower, tasty breakfast. What makes this high rating more impressive is that this hotel was about sold-out due to a big event on I-75 to the north. Delivering this type of quality when your packed is the sign of a well run operation. Great job to the entire team!...especially Caroline at check-in!
We love staying at this hotel and always plan our trips around this particular place. There is an excellent restaurant very close that we always enjoy going to. The owners/managers are nearly always on the property and the employees at all levels are welcoming and accommodating at all times. The breakfast is very well prepared and the place is spotless inside and out. We cannot say enough about this hotel
This was my first stay in a Best Western Plus and it was a pleasant stay. The location was convenient and attractive, although it was a bit challenging to find at night without using our car's navigation system. The grounds and public areas of the hotel were very well-kept, up-to-date and check-in was very friendly. There is an outdoor pool that was well-maintained. Our room, a double queen suite, was very clean and spacious, but rather spartan. The furnishings were in good condition, but the mattresses were minimally comfortable (very hard and poor quality). Moreover, the mattress frames extended beyond the mattresses on the sides of the bed and it was easy to hit oneself getting in and out of bed. This brand of hotels does not have bathtubs in its suites and I missed having a hot bath to soak in after a long day of driving. Breakfast was complimentary, but offerings were fairly high in starches and carbohydrates. I personally would not stay here again, but it could be a good option for travelers with children because of its cleanliness, pool, and reasonable prices. Just don't expect any frills. The location is in a low crime area and parking is free. Wi-fi worked well and it was complimentary.
Came up from Florida for terror in the wild at Wild adventures. Hotel is about 15 minutes from park just on the outskirts of Valdosta. Also visited Ashley's pub for some music and drinks. Had a queen suite on the third floor. Room was large, clean and very well appointed with good sized kitchen and seating areas. Hotel was quiet and bed was comfortable. Had fitness center and pool and spa. Breakfast was top notch and included eggs, grits, sausage, biscuits and gravy and pancakes in addition to the usual pastries, juices, cereals and bread products. All staff was super friendly and helpful.
this hotel is perfectly located on the outskirts of Valdosta-exit 22 off I-75-the staff are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the area-if needed can recommend what you may require and you know it will be good-golf courses near by are excellent -especially kinderlou forest at exit 16
We have stayed at this hotel several times on our way to and from Florida and have had a pleasant experience every time. They are dog friendly, and our dogs seem quite at home there. There is a big field to walk the dogs. The breakfast is excellent. The staff are pleasant and personable people. Our rooms have been comfortable and quiet.
This hotel is five star for us. Recently stayed here and the entire staff was top shelf. Very clean and spacious lodging. Breakfast excellent. Don't miss this property. We asked for a standard, non smoking room and discovered all their rooms have kitchen, sofa, pub table, great linens and a beautiful walk in shower. Everything about this property can't be stressed enough for it's quality. We were tired and ready for a relaxing evening. Thanks Best Western Valdosta, GA
Very clean. Nice staff. Breakfast was good but not great. I would have preferred make your own waffles, instead they had microwave pancakes. They pool was not heated, a tad cool. Sauna was nice. We will definitely stay there again when we visit our daughter.
This is a lovely hotel with great beds. Our suite was quiet, comfortable and I would definitely stay again if in the area. One guest needed a room that is easy to get to as he is on oxygen and can't walk far and they made sure it was first floor and just off lobby so he was close to everything Breakfast was good and everything was hot and fresh.
Super Fabulous! Very quite and clean. Beds had pillow-top mattress and very comfy. Front desk gentleman was super. The whole place smelled very nice. Ahhh is all I can say. We were so tired it just felt so great to find a good welcoming hotel. And a full hot breakfast this morning...wow! I have already recommended it to some friends traveling down this way next week. Thank You, Thank You for a good nights sleep!
We have stayed here numerous times in the past couple of years. We have always had excellent service and the rooms were very nice and clean. My husband loves the full breakfast and always seems to enjoy.
Very nice Best Western. Very large facility right off the interstate with large, spacious rooms with stand up showers. I have bookmarked this hotel to stay in Valdosta for all work purposes moving forward.
Having a spacious, updated, quiet room with a comfortable bed is worth the extra cost over other chains. Nice to have cooked breakfast items instead of only cold cereal and pastries. Missed having breakfast options as other Best Western Plus Hotel, such as apples and boiled eggs
My husband and I stopped here after being on the road for 14 hours. When I called ahead, the receptionist was extremely pleasant as she was when we checked in. No worries about the pet policy for us non pet owners. Pets are kept to the 1st and 2nd floor. The room was clean and huge, with microwave and fridge. Bed comfy! Breakfast ok. Would have like hot water for the oatmeal with nuts/raisins too. Breakfast ok
