Hotel has bargain price but needs some upgrades. Breakfast room is old. Staff need customer service training.
Friendly accommodating staff, clean rooms, and comfortable beds.quiet location. Perfect for a good night's sleep.
I have stayed here before but never again. The heating system sounded like a jet engine taking off all night, the bed felt as if a board had been placed where your back lays. The bedding was not warm for winter months. It was just not a pleasant stay at all this time.
I will start by saying the front desk did accommodate me after I booked the incorrect day in error. Thank you for that. The door to the room I was given was already opened and there were wet cup stains on the table as if someone just left the room before I got there. It was a nonsmoking room but someone had been smoking in there. If the choices were better in this town, I would have chosen a different hotel. It is overpriced but because the options are few they are able to gauge.
nice clean room and far away from main road so very quiet. Staff very helpful for finding best restaurant in small town We stay again.one disappointment swimming pool closed.Nice hot breakfasts but breakfast seating area was small
Older hotel but has been renovated. Clean and beds are comfortable. Low pet fee $15 nice to bring our fur child. Nice small pool. Staff is very helpful accommodating. We recommend staying at this hotel.
Not a bad hotel. Room was nice. Easy to get to. Did not partake in breakfast. The deal breaker for me is the poor Internet. It was too slow to do the kind of uploads I need for work and cell phone service was non existent. This was closer to where I needed to be than Waynesboro or Statesboro
Traveling through Georgia, we were looking for a pet friendly motel. The Best Western Bradford Inn in Swainsboro was on our way. We were delighted to discover we were about a mile from the beautiful Harmon Park in town with a dog park as well as a lovely walking trail and other park amenities.
The stay was great and fit my needs. I had a hot breakfast, hot shower, clean linens, and free wifi. The property is located on the outskirts of town but within a mile to grocery, convenience, and dollar stores.
Very comfortable and attractive room, excellent value. Obvious care taken in maintenance and upgrades. Breakfast presentation excellent, but food quality needs improvement. Staff very responsive, concerned our expectations were met.
Friendly folks, comfortable bed. Clearly had at one time been a smoking allowed property. AC/heat/fan worked well. When I arrived there was an active high school football game across the road. Running the fan ON kept out the crowd/band/PA noise and I was able to sleep well. Small breakfast area with limited options but that is never a selling point for me. Should be a good place to stay for the Vidalia Onion Festival next spring.
The hotel was clean outside, the room was cool ,spacious and comfortable , the breakfast was good with a good variety of options as any continental breakfast . had lots of security cameras around hotel which made stay pleasant and safe .
Great service from front desk....Breakfast was great as well. Room was clean with a sweet welcoming note.... Quick check in and offered for a late stay until 12pm per usual. The owner is very professional as well.
Tony and I had travelled 8.5 hrs with still another 5 hrs to go from West Virginia to our Florida destination. We needed a much needed rest so I was able to find the Best Western Bradford Inn in Swainsboro, GA It's a larger town than it seems. The hotel sits back from the road. Very friendly staff. The front desk clerk amazing. We were given room 101 she called it a King Suite. The room is adequately large with King size bed, nice large flat screen TV. Very pleased, room could use some lightening brightening up but hey I'm not here to decorate. Definitely would stay again. They have outside pool with hours 9am to 9pm, but too pooped from traveling to enjoy. Hope if you stay you have a great experience too. Our bed was very comfortable. No bugs or other creepy crawlies!!! Clean clean clean, including bathroom. Plus the next morning they offer a full Hot Meal Breakfast with Eggs, Toast, Waffles, Breakfast Meats..all part of the price of your stay! I'm a rewards member so I also enjoy the perks of points to save for a free nights stay!!
Weekday night stay with wife on a trip to North Carolina. Stayed in two queen bedded room. Room size OK but dated furniture and decor. Clean. Reasonably price. Located in a quiet area in a small Georgia town.
Left Atlanta late and needed to be in Savannah the next day, so we found a place about half way. Savannah is awfully expensive anyway… or the places are crummy. Anyway, found this Best Western at a good price and stayed here. Very nice. They apologized that there weren't any rooms on the first floor available since we had a dog, but put us as near to the stairs as they could. Lovely clean room. Two queen beds. Quiet. Nice bathroom with good towels. Even the mattress was firm enough. As with many of the places we've stayed, this trip, there were no USB charging ports… I could swear we've had them frequently in the past, but not this trip. I bought an outlet USB converter at a truck stop so solved that issue. They also had free breakfast. The woman who checked me in commented that they had ‘warm' breakfast again. Covid messed a lot with offerings at motels. They had the ubiquitous (and popular) waffle maker and some hot scrambled eggs and sausage. (Also potatoes, but didn't have any of those.) Cereals, oatmeal - with condiments- yogurt, etc. Room was clean. Coffee was good ( and the lids fit) only problem was that the breakfast room was pretty small. We were up early and there were only four of us, but more would be a crowd. Lovely clean grounds, well kept and the pool area was nice. No complaints here. Note to maid: check behind the bathroom door. I'm not sure if that was a bug or something else, but I really shouldn't have to wonder… and the dark brown paint was a poor choice: shows water marks.
The hot breakfast in the morning was wonderful. I found their outside pool relaxing and somewhat private being on the outside of town. The staff went above and beyond to make to ensure my stay was the best it could be.
I only gave it three stars because its a budget hotel. The staff was extremely cordial, polite and friendly. There was also plenty of nice breakfast options for the continental breakfast. The mattress felt cheap and "springy", the pillows also felt like they were stuffed with cotton balls. The room, though "non smoking", smelled like an old previously retired smokers lounge. It was good for what we needed it for, a night of rest mid travel with our dog.
Best western is my favorite when I'm in town I have tried others but I rather go to best western I feel more comfortable when I'm there and more safe. They also refer you with the internet and breakfast and they always make sure you are ok
I chose this Best Western because they were the only hotel that was pet friendly. Upon arrival I requested an upgrade to a suite and was happy to do so at no additional cost! The room was spacious and clean. No funky oders that some pet friendly hotels have. No issues with parking, I have a large dually truck and I was able to back right up to my door. Also I really loved being able to have a door that opened up to the outside, it made getting luggage to the room so easy and since I was traveling alone that was a huge plus!! I have family in Swainsboro and I will definitely chose this Best Western above all the others again!
Don't stay! The walls were gross and the toilet wouldn't go down without filling it with water. The beds seemed ok we we didn't complain. Everything was “ok” until I left and saw BITES all over my son!!! Now I'm completely discussed!!!!
Hotel was clean, bed was extremely comfortable and staff was friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast items were fresh; assortment of hot and cold cereals, yogurt, fruit, waffle iron, coffe tea juice etc.
I guess you pay for what you get for…The cleanliness was acceptable, but some pillows were smelling. Like how often do they change the pillow protections???? I was not able to clean after myself because it did not have a toilet bowl brush which was embarrassing. I mean poor house cleaner:( This hotel is outdated. It needs a serious make over. I will not be back.
Wonderful polite staff... Had a midnight check-in and they still managed to pull off the smile! Room was of nice size and clean! I would stay here again! I was given a corner first floor room and I never heard anyone... Quiet and clean is all I ever ask for! Thanks Bradford Inn...
Overall accommodations and staff. Nice and clean. Staff were cordially, friendly and very helpful. I have visited a few times before and my visits were always a good experience. One great feature for me were the beds are extremely comfortable.
I am a pilot and have stayed at this hotel frequently when flying into the East Georgia Regional Airport. Unfortunately, I encountered bed bugs during my last stay, so I immediately checked out. I was booked for three nights but checked out after two. I asked for a refund for the last night and was told that I would not get one. Generally, all of the staff has been nice, but I will never stay here again.
Can only give them a two right now but may upgrade. Here for a week and just checked in. Room door was wide open letting in the flies and blistering hot. Been here two hours and the room is still 85 degrees with the AC running full blast. This is a business trip and I would rather have commuted two hours. Hotel is old and door has light coming in top and bottom so the bugs will have a feast tonight. Would have gladly paid twice as much for a decent room
The pool was very nice and clean. The pool decor and furniture is very nice and pleasing to the eye. The hotel is located a mile from the middle of Swainsboro, yet is very quiet and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The employees were very friendly and eager to help no matter how many times I called for information. I will be back and this is my new place to stay when I do!
The rooms were nice. Breakfast was much better than the Best Western we stayed at in Blairsville. Conveniently located. The rooms were clean. Check in and check out was easy and staff was friendly. We have found that most Best Westerns are very accommodating.
Clean and exceptionally quiet. It looked like they were getting ready to open the pool, which has a fence around it. The motel is on a large, grassy, open area, which must be popular with rabbits. My rescue beagle, Houndini, slipped out of her harness twice when I was walking her outside, she was so intent on following their scent, making the weird little noises she makes when she noses a bunny. I was thrilled that a franchise of Maryland Fried Chicken is right up the road -- first time in 15 years.
there aren't many options in this part of GA. for those traveling US1 like us .. it a good place to stop. it is usually very quiet here. the AC and heating system worked good for me. hot water is almost instantaneous. there's a liquor store down the street. bring your own food if possible since there aren't any restaurants nearby. i like the suite with sofa and king. front desk person was pleasant and helpful. good coffee in the lobby.
Stayed at this old school motor lodge type motel with my hubby and teenage sons while attending a college scouting combine held at Swainsboro HS...this was directly across the street (talk about convenient). The facility was super clean and the staff were beyond friendly. For our more than economical pricing we had nice accommodations, comfy beds, nice tv, a good (hot) breakfast, and even an oversized bathtub. If ever back in the area, we will stay here again.
1st room, a suite, smelled like new and old cigarete smoke - room 101. The second one they put us in was better. Missing light bulb in room, dirty furniture in the room they moved to - room 122. Breakfast was out of butter, cream cheese, pancake mix and syrup nearly out. There was hardly anyone at this motel, nearly 3/4 empty! No excuse for running out of things. The Indian man at counter did refill everything after I pointed out everthing.
Decent hotel for a smaller town. Older property, but clean and well run. No complaints about the room, front desk clerk was pleasant. Suprisingly nice choice of breakfast items during this Covid BS. Good location, nearby restaurants and close to highway.
We stayed here just on our way through the area and it was a good stop. The hotel is clean and the workers were friendly. The outlet covers on the walls were all detached, which was strange but it didn't effect my ability to use the outlet or get a good nights rest. The breakfast was an average continental spread.
Could not be happier with the hotel and the room. There are not a great number of good places to stay in Swainsboro, but having lived there for 7 years-- when I come back to visit, I stay at the Bradford, and you should also.
Wife and I was attending a concert in the area and we chose this Best Western based on location and rewiews posted here. The room and bathroom was clean . the air conditioner was a little loud, but bearable. the breakfast was good and hot.
Entire property and building was clean as usual. Perfect nights seep as usual. Everything worked as usual. I stay at this hotel several times a year. This is the only hotel I will stay while in Swainsboro. Mr. Patel runs a tight business.
This stay was our second at this hotel as we travelled the same route south this year. Would stay again when on our route. The hotel is on the edge of town so getting in nand out of grounds was very quick and easy. There were many parking spaces close to the entrance. The room was comfortable with good wifi. There are several close restaurants nearby. Checking in and out were very quick and efficient. The breakfast offered included several hot items and overall had a wide variety of options. The breakfast was certainly a great way to begin a driving day.
I enjoyed staying at this motel it was very clean everyone was friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast also,They answered every question I had regarding my stay in the motel. Great experience Cant wait to visit again
Stayed one evening with our Daughter and Grand-daughter. The purpose of the trip was to visit East Georgia College, where our Grand-Daughter (18) applied. The hotel rooms were clean and neatly decorated. TV and Internet worked fine. Nice warm breakfast with a number of choices was included. Will definitely plan to stay again in the future, if our Grand-daughter decides to go to college there.
A used tissue was stuck to the wall, there were short black hairs on the toilet seat, the phone didn't work, the phone cord/wall plate was hanging out of the wall, and there were bugs in the room. When I discussed this with the front desk staff and showed the photos, there was no interest in the fact that the room was in substandard condition. If every other hotel in town wasn't boked, I would have moved.
terrible, plug toilet, noisy ac,noisy refrig, smelly cigar odor in room that was not listed as a smoking room when reservation was made, freezer in fridg. had 1/2-3/4 inch of ice on it,walls were coming apart at seam in bath and ceiling, also broken surround on jacuzzi frayed carpet.
The staff at this location are amazing and the valve for a good night sleep and location is exceptional for a family of four. Breakfast was a good start for our day. We stay at this location every time we are in town.
This motel was very quiet and the air conditioner worked wonderfully well. It was extremely hot weather so we really appreciated the airconditioner. We never required room service during our stay so I cannot comment on that. The tub was not very clean on our arrival, nor was the fridge but other than that everything was fine
This hotel is friendly to all. They have a large area for customers to walk their pets and a dog park very close by. The owner and his staff are exceptionally friendly. The free breakfast has a variety of hot and cold foods to please everyone. This is our second time at this hotel and we will be back.
Exceeded all expectations. Large, well-appointed room with all physical characteristics and amenities as advertised. Quick check in and check out. Comfortable AC, bed, and bathroom area. Pool and pool area were great. Breakfast sufficient, fresh, warm, or cold as appropriate. Very much enjoyed for overnight rest stop.
Front Desk Manager Ms Tyrea, Kelly and Lori, in housekeeping were amazing!! Everything need was met when requested. Pool was clean. They make you feel like you are at home when away from home!! Thank you!
Comes under the heading of you get what you pay for...we stayed one night while riding BRAG--probably our least favorite stay. I'm a platinum BW member--not one of their better hotels. Pillows were all lumpy foam things; bed sheets were stained. Fire alarm started going off at 5am...breakfast room only seats 12 people--small and crowded and cheap food choices. I might have given it 2 starts...but at least the rest of the room was clean and the a/c unit worked.Mac, at check in was nice and helpful with restaurant suggestions. At check out, the clerk spent 15 minutes with one guest---we finally gave up and just dropped the keys...Would not stay here again.
Clean, comfortable rooms. Quiet once you unplug the refrigerator if not used. Staff is polite. Breakfast was good -- just right for a quick getaway. The Coffee Diva even liked the coffee! Parking convenient to the building. The building has two floors, get a second floor room if you don't mind a few stairs and want to be sure that it's quiet above you. Swainsboro is a nice, friendly town.
I was on a short road trip thru Georgia and this was the best place I stayed of the three nights on the road. Price was very reasonable and facility was very nice. Quiet area with several food establishments and shopping nearby. I had stayed here several times over the past eight years and I went quite a few miles out of my way to stay here again. Well worth it.
This is an older facility. It is really a motel. Check-in time was posted as 3 PM. We arrived at 5:30 PM and neither room we had a reservation for for over a month was ready. We left and had dinner. Upon return the rooms were ready. Unfortunately, there was a dirty wash cloth left in the bathroom. Otherwise the rooms appeared reasonably clean, but who knows. The internet did not work at all. We were all too tired to complain, so I don't know if anything would/could have been done.
The best hotel for this area. In the middle of the area. No issues with parking or loud noises. Bed are comfortable. No issues any time I stay here. Staff is also very nice and helpful. Would stay again.
This hotel was fantastic! Kind check in, great room, safe, CLEAN, and wonderful breakfast. The bed was firm but my husband slept well. This was a very clean hotel and we felt very safe. Look no further than this hotel!
Wi-fi did not work. Manager blamed it on someone else. No newspapers available No decaf coffee at breakfast. Breakfast foods (eggs, potatoes and sausage) were cold. Self made waffles were under cooked and uneatable. Suggest choosing a different hotel. The Best Western survey site would not work.
Like this hotel very reasonable decent breakfast. Have stayed here several times. Don't know what happened but needed a shower to feel clean after swimming. I suspect the management has handled the problem by now.
Access from Hwy. 1 was very straight forward and parking was quite close to outside entry near room. Front desk reception was exceptional. Very friendly, engaged and efficient. Front desk person was very helpful and knowledgeable. There was no lobby coffee available. The in-room coffee making system was poor. Room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb. The home fries were excellent, as were the waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage. All were hot and tasty. Fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, muffins, cream cheese, and hot/cold cereal choices were available. Coffee and juice were excellent. I would stay here again.
The bed was like sleeping on stone and the room unclean. The breakfast was not very edible. Needs a serious renovation. You will also spend $2 for an item that costs 50 Cents and it won't return your money. You have been warned.
We stayed here on our way south. We were heading south from Atlanta and got a jump by hitting the road late on a Friday. So after a few hours drive, we had booked a room here in Swainsboro....in the middle of NO-Where Georgia. Checked in very very late around midnight and took off early Saturday. The motel is old and needs updating... it's all outside entry, and out room was circa 1973! We didn't pay much, and got even less. Was fairly clean, but sooo musty and old.
Always stay here when I'm in the area on business. They know which room I prefer and always make the effort to accommodate. All is fine with my room and location and I prefer this hotel when i'm in the area. Great customer service.
The property and room were acceptable but we were awaken at 3am by giggling girls in front of our room. Sounded like they were checking in. Not sure what was going on at that hour but it sounded like the party was not over yet. We have stayed in many Best Western's and have always had a good experience. I'm hoping this was just a one time occurrence.
We have stayed here many times and never had a problem until this time, beds were not ok, roaches in the room, odor in the room and something all over the ceiling. I do hope they fix this as this is our go to place to stay when we visit family in swainsboro.
The rooms here are extremely clean and I felt vey comfortable here. Checking in was very good and the staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was simple and the coffee was hot and good. I can definitely recommend a great stay at the Bradford Inn.
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable and the staff super friendly and helpful. Cons: First, we had a hard time opening our door every single time to get in. Literally had to push a shoulder into to get it open. Not to mention that the door itself was filthy and in desperate need of a paint job. Simple cosmetic maintenance both inside and out would go a long way. Second, the "free breakfast" was terrible. The pancake batter was rancid, the egg beater eggs were gray in color and unappealing, and the yogurt was the bottom of the barrel low fat Walmart brand. Needless to say we went to eat elsewhere. I was on the fence about writting this review because again, the staff was so nice and overall our stay was comfortable. But I really feel like the cost of this place is too high for the value. Maybe the other hotels in Swainsboro are similar and this is the best out of a bad lot? When I looked around, the pricing was similar at other places... maybe if I'm in the area again I'll look someplace in a neighboring town for better deals.
The room are spacious and clean. Staff members were friendly and helpful through my stay. The property is off the main road so no road noise and quite. The bed was comfortable, the sheet were clean. The free hot breakfast is just icing on the cake .It's a great place to spend the night.
Second stay but had multiple nights before. Clean, quiet & pretty good all around. Staff is great. I would absolutely stay again. Rooms are nice. Looks like the lobby is being renovated. Can't find anything negative to say. Thanks for a great stay
Clean Rooms staff was great nicest place to stay in Swainsboro. We stay here when we come from out of town to race and will continue to stay here when we come back for out annual trip. We have stayed here for the past 6 years and have been pleased every trip
It was a pleasant stay at Best Western Bradford inn. Hotel rooms are updated and very clean, and hot breakfast is ample for to start my morning. It was close to my family. I Will stay again when I am in the area..
Every time I stay here I get excellent service, a clean room, and a fair price. The staff always goes out of their way to accommodate me. This is the kind of service one sees at a 5 diamond property not in small town Georgia. I cannot recommend this property enough.
This place was very clean and the staff was friendly. Older hotel but great value. I stayed here due to Statesboro being sold out. I would stay here again. Very small. Decent breakfast. Staff members were all very friendly
Arrived on Thursday evening, there were at least 20 men around the parking lot on the phone or hanging out. Granted they were out of town workers but it made it very noisy outside, it remained that way until after 11p.m. The coffee maker didn't work nor did the air conditioner. The mattress was very uncomfortable and clearly very old and worn and the bed scarf had a few red stains and dirty spots on it.
This is an old motel that needs lots of improvements. A group of us on Harley's stopped for the night here. The staff is friendly however, it goes down hill after that. We all received rags to clean our bikes from the morning dew and road dirt. The keys to open the doors takes some getting used to but after a few tries it'll open - Yea! Some of the rooms have air conditioners that are not controllable - so bundle up at night.. The breakfast area has seating for about 12 and the food selection is sparse. And finally, some of the rooms had flys that needed to be dealt with before residing in the room!
Another great stay at this BW in Swainsboro. Even with the problem that I had with my card key, the manager made sure that I was able to get in to my room with no problem using a key. They were very nice and will definitely stay again when I'm in the area.
There's only so much the hotel staff can do but I think the owners should invest in better locks for the hotel doors. A fresh coat of paint can brighten a room as well. The towels and bedding were great though.
Very good hotel for the location and time for the event. I was there for two days and the whole time there were bugs everywhere. I was a little disappointed that when room service cleaned the room they left the door open and allowed the bugs to fly in. Other than that, it was a good hotel for the cost and location.
The staff at the hotel is friendly and welcoming. They took care of any concerns we had promptly. The room was clean and comfortable and a good value. It is a good and safe location. There appeared to be a lift for the disabled at the pool which we observed from the balcony.
Very quiet, clean hotel. Rooms were nice size and not cramped. Both smoking and non smoking rooms available. Helpful courteous staff. If in the area nice place to stay and a great value. The pool was clean and the grounds well kept. a very nice place to stay.
My family and I made a last minute decision to stay at this hotel on a Saturday night. The room & property were clean. The staffmemeber at check-in and checkout were very friendly and helpful. We checked in after 10pm and had no problem getting a late 12 noon checkout the next day. Good value for the price
We arrived with no expectations since we had been staying in BW's for the past 6 days across different states. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. Front desk checked us in immediately, got exactly what I requested over a month ago and front area was pristine. We had a corner room and it was very clean, smelled good and great parking. Breakfast area was excellent. Close to restaurants and stores. Its also close to the Swainsboro Raceway (11minutes) and that was a big deal for us. We'll definitely come back when in the area.
We travel through Georgia quite a bit from Florida to NC straight through, but since we had friends with us, we decided to break the trip up by staying overnight somewhere. Well, as usual, I start researching Tripadvisor for a nice hotel in the Swainsboro area. It lead me to this hotel. Nice curb appeal when we drove up. Front office very small, but that didn't matter too much, as long as the rooms were clean and comfortable. The price was comparable to other hotels. We were satisfied with our stay, clean, comfortable bed, and quiet. The continental breakfast was typical with waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal etc. As usual, I eat cereal and you can't go wrong with that. I am sure if we decide to stay in that area again, we would choose this hotel.
Everyone was nice and helpful the rooms was nice and the pool was wonderful the location was nice and cozy The breakfast was wonderful the staff and members always helpful and polite and I will let tell anybody that I had a wonderful stay there
We had a great visit, the hotel was nice, comfortable and clean. Only problem was the pool wasn't open our entire trip. The reason was the health inspector was out of town, poor planning made for an upset 5 year old. Staff was friendly and breakfast was very nice everyday.
The staff was great, they told us about the upcoming events in the town. The hotel was nothing overly fancy, they did have trouble with the credit card machine working but it was new. I'd stay there again if needed. It is a ways from the major highways
Despite arriving after midnight (been to Augusta for a concert during golf-week, so had to travel to get a decent hotel at a reasonable price), the receptionist was very courteous. Room was fine and beds were comfortable. Only problem was our own fault, we didn't request a non-smoking room on booking and ended up in one that was obviously used by smokers. Breakfast was basic but ok.
Needing a place to stay, I used Trip Advisor to locate the Best Western. The nice surprise was that the clerk told me I had enough points for a free room! We took her up on the offer. She had a little trouble getting the system to cooperate so she called the manager. He approved the deal. The room was good. Breakfast could have been improved. The room was small, and the selection was limited.
Very frustrating when you are trying to sleep and the people are on the balcony smoking and talking loud. Then around 4-4:30 in the morning the same people are on the balcony smoking and talking loud again.
Enjoyed my stay at this hotel: room was right on the front of the hotel and easy to get to, the room smelled and appeared clean, no major issues with the room or service, except that the bed could be a bit more comfortable - didn't have pillow top. Overall, it was good and I would return again next time i'm in town.
Family has been staying here for years.always clean and comfortable.good value for the price.just down the road from down town swainsboro,Walmart and shops many reastrants to chose from.staff is very helpful
Quietly back from the road, without a functioning sign to announce its presence, this motel maintains a clean and good enough room and hot breakfast, at an OK coupon rate. Living in the shadow of a newer chain motel nearby, this Best Western needs freshening, attractive landscaping, and an installed roadside sign to promote itself. Friendly staff a plus.
Would stay here again, though so much in taxes added to the reasonable rate of $67 brought the bill to $87, within $13 of staying in the B&B in town, which was lovely. The room was clean, and just what we needed for a quick overnight stay halfway to our destination. Breakfast was fairly extensive if not special...it got us to lunchtime. Early morning noisy with guests or cleaning staff...not sure which. Easy find on US#1.
We stayed for 3 days and every thing about our stay, staff, breakfast, housekeeping was beyond amazing. Melanie is a ROCKSTAR and every communication from 2 days prior to our arrival to a follow up call on our trip home, she was informative, courteous, attentive and the queen of 5-star service. Special thanks to Kelly for super clean rooms and all items we needed and a great breakfast! Also, appreciate Tyrea and her kindness. ???? Go team!
We got caught in the evacuation for Hurricane Matthew and landed at this hotel because they take pets. The king suite provided additional space so we didn't go stir crazy, and there was plenty of room for the dog to play outside. Because they were sold out there was always a run on breakfast and we had to go to McDonalds, but the staff was very accommodating.
Wow, MUCH MORE than we expected- the hotel is really nice, everything we need. And the staff was over the top - they came by to check on us yesterday to just make certain everything was ok. Really good decision to stay here. Highly recommended!
The Bradford Inn is a nice property to stay on you visit to or through Swainsboro. I have stayed at this property in excess of 20 times and it is always very clean. The breakfast is excellent. The personnel are always nice and eager to help in any way they can.
stay here every year on way from FL to NC on our motorcycles... my favorite BW anywhere actually... friendly, small, clean and a great feeling parking our bikes under the carport by front door all night... thanks to melanie and all the crew... see you again
stayed 2 nights. Beds and A/C were great. No restaurant in hotel but the town is not a tourist destination. I was there to work on hunting camp. No elevator to second floor so if you have heavy bags ask for a first floor.
The hotel room smell terrible. There were cracks in the wall over the shower. Toilet did not flush well. Breakfast room was not large enough to hold our group while eating. The staff was accommodating and very nice but the hotel overall was terrible. I will not ever stay at this hotel again.
I frequently came to Swainsboro on my business trip, Best Western is the excellent motel in the town with nice location. Very courteous staff. Good internet access from the room. Good morning breakfast. GM of the motel is always available for any question and ready to help. I enjoy me stay in the motel.
We were travelling from Orlando to Tennessee to meet friends and stayed here for one night. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and breakfast was the usual Best Western and we enjoyed our stay. There is a pretty park adjacent to the hotel and it was good to be able to walk round and stretch our legs after our journey.
We were traveling thru Swainsboro to another city. We were tired and needed a place for the night. I got online to see what might be offered in this town, and found this Best Western. The pictures looked good (which sometimes are misleading), and the price looked good. So we decided to give it a try. Upon our arrival, the person behind the counter was dealing with another customer, who had some questions. He very politely and kindly answered her questions. She left smiling, because he was so courteous! I paid for the room and we went to go in. The door key would not work, so I went back to the desk and told the man that 5 of us had tried to open the door with both keys and they would not work. He apologized and then rescanned the keys. Then he personally walked around to the room with us to make sure they worked this time. He was very friendly and talked with us as we walked to the room. The room was clean and looked pretty much just like the picture. The hotel was full, but yet very quiet. We got a good restful sleep that night. The beds were a little more firm than we were use to, but yet they were comfortable enough. There was a nice flat screen tv, microwave and fridge in the room. The bathroom was small but clean. There was a large area where the sink and mirror were. Overall we were very pleased not only with the room, but the service we received. We slept in late, so we did not get to try the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
I stay at this hotel over any other when in town! for a select service hotel these guys rock! I would put them up against any other select service in the area! Thanks to the Staff and Thanks to MAc for taking care of me as a returning customer!
I stay at this hotel at least once a month. they take care of me each and everytime I amhere. for the money this hotel is one of the best in town! the GM and the People at the Desk make you feel as though you are family by recognizing you when you walk through the door.
We have stayed at a lot of motels some fantastic and some not so good but most of the time we stay in Hampton Inns and I must say this motel was as good if not better then Hampton! We wondered what room would look like because of the rate but it was very good! The staff were all polite the room was very clean. We loved the bigger tv in room, breakfast was good for a continental, they had scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, and lots of everything else! I would give the overall experience as excellent!
Small town offered few options for overnight visit. This seemed to be the best choice. The best part was we were able to stay close to the office. Being two females traveling alone, this made us feel so much more safe.
very nice clean updated room. Pillows were great, bed was a bit hard. We left for several hours for breakfast and lunch to come back mid afternoon to get ready for a wedding. We were very pleased that the room had been attended too, or so we thought. A young man knocked on door from housekeeping stating he wanted to clean bathroom. As the bed was made we hadn't noticed the bathroom. I declined as we're needed to shower and change and did not have a lot of time. So he very politely offered fresh towels and asked if we needed anything. If ever in the area would definitely stay here again.
Bites to both feet and back area of my body on my 1st and 2nd night during my stay, I was assigned to another room during my last night, however, damage had already been done. I now have permanent flea bite marks to both of my beautiful feet.
In Swainsboro this hotel hits all the marks. I wouldn't stay at any other hotel in town. This hotel is clean and comfortable. It's also very quiet since it's set back from the busy road. We had two rooms, both were extremely clean and comfortable. The location is great. Front desk staff is efficient, nice and professional, especially Mac. Housekeeping staff were also very nice, especially Monica and Misty. Breakfast is excellent with many hot and cold options, but the room can get very crowded. The only issues we had were with the toilet and the internet. Our toilet was not functioning properly, we asked to have it looked at while we were out. When we got back it hadn't been looked at. I had to go to the front desk and ask for a plunger. The internet connectivity for our second room was very poor, I think that's due to the location (room was in the back of the property). Our other room had great connectivity. On the second night we stayed there, our bedspread had a large cigarette burn in the center which was easily seen. While we didn't appreciate the hole, the bedspread was clean and I could tell it had been freshly laundered that day, the hole was not there on the first night so this indicated to me that they change the spreads daily. They really should discard any damaged bedspreads, but at least I knew it was clean. The swimming pool was already closed for the season, it would have been nice if it was still open since the temps were in the '80s. I don't know if there was a fitness center, no one told me if there was one. Next time I'm in Swainsboro on business I will stay there again.
The hotel was nice and clean, stayed there because my son goes to GA Southern and could not get a hotel closer...however the check in staff was not very friendly and the over charged us for nights not stayed there...
Have stayed here several times before and it is always clean and comfortable. Air conditioning works like it should and beds are comfortable. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I have no idea what else to say but I have to have 2 0 0 characters
This hotel is very affordable, clean hotel and the staff treated us very good! It would have been nice, since we were on the second level to have had an elevator because we were there for the weekend and our luggage was kind of heavy; but all in all the hotel is an excellent chain.
average room, fitness center off site not as advertised. Breakfast was ok. Lady was very helpful so that we could get our food. pool was great for kids but closed at 9 pm so they couldn't swim long. Location was off beaten path, hard to get to. Not enough choices in area for a sit down meal. Plenty of fast food choices
