Best Western Plus Sun Canyon

Our room was clean and quiet and had a stunning view of the mountains. The complimentary breakfast was very filling, offering a full spread to choose from. The pool and hot tub were the perfect temperatures for a relaxing dip after checking in.

I had a pleasant experience staying at the Best Western Sun Canyon.. The staff was courteous and greeted us when entered. The breakfast was great. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall, I would return and recommend it as a place o stay.

Traveling to the Bisbee Tucson area and searching reviews for pet friendly hotels was pretty scary. This place came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. Staff was friendly, room was super clean and breakfast choices were pretty good. A couple of parks in easy walking distance made it really easy for the dogs too.

Had a wonderful breakfast with a lot of variety for food. Rooms were extremely clean and staff was great! Beds were comfy! Free water as a courtesy. Pet friendly which is nice. Would definitely stay here again. We travel a lot for business and have had some bad experiences so moving forward we will spend a little extra money and pick Best Western :)

On our way from El Paso to Tucson we decided to visit Bisbee and Tombstone. We are rewards members and booked our room in Sierra Vista and we couldn't have been happier. It is less than 30 miles from both. We were towing an enclosed trailer with our motorcycle inside and there was plenty of pull through parking to accommodate us. Also one of the trailer fenders was starting to come loose and Sierra Vista is a large enough town that they have a Home Depot that I was able to get the tools and supplies to make the repairs easily

We stayed here while visiting the Tombstone and Bisbee tourist attractions. The property is very clean and it was a quiet night. The Best Western is relatively new and everything was in good working order. The only negative regarding the rooms is the bathrooms are very small. The breakfast at the Best Western was very good with plenty of variety. It is next door to a micro brewery which has good beer and a dining menu with lots of variety.

Needing a pet friendly hotel brought us to Best Western for our stay. The beds were comfortable! Room clean! Updated carpet! Also loved the kitchenette in our corner room. It was a convenience to have a second sink and room for dog dish on kitchen tile and not underfoot.

I like staying here because this hotel is comfortable and the staff makes you feel welcome. The location is close to our sons house and staff is very attentive to our requests and answers any questions that we have. We will stay here again next time that we visit our son.

Very pleasant atmosphere with outdoor pool and hot tub. Also barbecue grilled and fire pit. A wonderful stay at one of the newer hotels in the Sierra Vista area. The hotel is such a bargain. The staff was outstanding and very attentive. Great times! Thank you.

This hotel was excellent. The breakfast was delicious, service was outstanding. The location was perfect. They offered almond milk at breakfast!! Win for me. The pool and hot tub were nice, quiet, and clean. My only negative is the bed- it was too firm for my taste, so I didn't sleep well. Some people may like firm beds. If the bed was softer, I'd rate it 10+.

This property is older but nicely decorated and extremely clean. Full size refrigerator was great! Staff was awesome. Great location, brewery next door was a plus. Various restaurants and fast food close by.

Clean, comfortable large rooms. A great value when coming to visit your soldier. Very close to the Fort, easy access to town. A short drive to Tombstone and Bisbee through beautiful landscape. The breakfast had a great selection and appreciated the guest water and coffee. The pool is clean, comfortable and relaxing. We took a balcony room and it was so worth it. I can't speak more highly of the staff! What a fun and caring group. If we get back to Sierra Vista this will be our choice.

Just had a great 2 night stay. Room clean & spacious. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast with good choice of hot & cold food. The breakfast lady was very friendly. Used the guest laundry which was very cheap ($1 wash & $1 dry) The most impressive thing was the extremely friendly welcome & efficient check in by Tyler at reception. He also went out of his way to point out local attractions and came across as a really nice guy. Rare to find these days. He really is a credit to your company.

Room was very clean. Great night's sleep - quiet, comfortable bed and pillows. Very much appreciated the free bottles of chilled water. Hearty breakfast options including scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage. Tyler, at the front desk, was very welcoming and friendly. Overall, a great hotel.

Got the balcony upgrade and was severely disappointed. Our room was really tiny. Maybe 12x12 if that. The balcony was bigger than our room almost! Poor water pressure, don't expect to use the tub at all. Clean room, and great breakfast, but I was really looking forward to the balcony, and it's nothing like what the pictures show. Feel a bit deceived. Staff was great, nothing against them, but I paid way too much for the room we got. Two adults and we kept bumping into each other because it was so tiny. So don't upgrade! Not worth it.

Sheena, at the front desk was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, after a long day of travel. The rooms were very clean and remodeled. Breakfast was wonderful as well. We will definitely be back.

Very clean and quiet hotel. Very good breakfast. The first desk clerk at check in was not overly warm but the rest of the staff was very friendly so perhaps she had a bad day but it did put me off a bit. Breakfast was nice with make your own waffles and a good selection of meats and breakfast potatoes. Free water and a very nice free wifi. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend as it was so very quiet. I was on the third floor and did not hear anyone above or below me. After a hard day at a conference when returning back to the hotel, the peace and quiet was very welcome.

We travel to Sierra Vista every year to celebrate Christmas with our kids and their families. We have outgrown our daughter's home, so we needed a bigger space to host the gathering. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette on Christmas Eve and Day and hosted our celebration in their meeting room. It was perfect! We can't say enough good things about the staff, before and during our stay. They worked through the accommodations with us, helped us get in and set up, and were there to answer questions all along the way. The location is close to either bypass, downtown, and the Fort. It was an exceptional experience.

We were only there for one night but the breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Everything was fresh & hot & plentiful. A big selection & the lady attendant was very pleasant & kept the eating area immaculate. The location is great. And the bed extremely comfortable.

Updated rooms and lobby. Nice common space to gather. Good fitness center and pool. Better than average breakfast choices. Complimentary bottled water always available. Friendly, helpful staff. Tbe room was spotless and very comfortable.

I stay at this location often since I travel to Sierra Vista once a month for work. Rooms are clean, breakfast is good & hot. The only compliant I would voice, is the lack of privacy I had when utilizing the conference room for a virtual meeting. The doors were shut for the conference room & a housekeeper came into the meeting room and wasn't quiet which was very distracting.

Recommend this place in Sierra Vista. Facility appears newly remodeled, to include rooms. Even number rooms have view of mountains. Breakfast is plentiful with bacon, eggs, and sausage every day. Coffee 24/7 and best of all, complimentary water, 24/7, as much as you need. Staff very friendly and professional, and if military traveling to Fort Huachuca, 5 min from the gate. And they have a pool, hot tub and gas fire pit area. I would stay here again.

Local in town hotel. Clean comfy rooms, friendly staff. Clean, appetizing breakfast bar. Clean pool area. Nice view. 160.00 a little pricey for a weekday stay. But, the rooms are spacious and we had a balcony to watch beautiful sunset.

My girlfriend and I stayed overnight and the staff (Tyler) was awesome! He was very accommodating and helpful. Anything we needed, Tyler didn't hesitate to help us. The rest of the staff were equally helpful.

We had an extended stay as a family with pets, and were very satisfied with the rooms, the staff, and the pet friendly policy. The price was reasonable and their complimentary breakfast was excellent! We drive a PHEV, and the hotel also had a charging station for our vehicle. Overall, a great stay with very little we could have asked for in improvements.

The staff was excellent the rooms are a bit small for the price and it was raining so couldn't use the outside amenities but the breakfast was good. Was nice we brought our dogs would be nicer if there was a place for them to go to the bathroom that wasn't rocks or concrete though.

The rooms were very clean with nice toiletries. The beds were comfortable and the pillows fluffy. The front desk staff was friendly, and having cold bottled water accessible 24 hours a day was awesome. The variety at breakfast was great - fresh fruit, gluten-free options, hot food, and good coffee/cappachinos. The rooms that face the mountains have a great view! Highly recommend this hotel!

Our stay was amazing! We were quickly checked in by the attendant. The check in process was smooth & easy. Our room was super clean & the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of space for our clothes. Our refrigerator was large to store plenty of food throughout our stay. The bathroom had plenty of counter space & plenty of linens. There was a gym, outdoor pool, grill area & fire pit that looked amazing, but we never used. We felt our car was very safe parked in the back, The parking lot was very well lit & we felt safe walking from our car to the hotel.

This hotel is located near the entrance to Sierra Vista and as such, allows for easy travel throughout the city and neighboring tourist areas. The front staff is friendly, caring and professional. Check-in was a breeze. The rooms are large, clean and the beds comfortable. The cafeteria was well stocked and provided hot meals and cool drinks for breakfast. Outside, the pool provided a refreshing break from the summer heat and the barbecue pit/patio area provided a backyard, home feel. If you are in the area, this is the place to stay.

Amazing staff: always helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The amenities were wonderful. The entire hotel was well maintained and kept very clean, including the pool. Delicious breakfast that included healthy choices. Our dog was welcomed by staff, even remembering he name.

We normally stay at Hilton and Marriot brand hotels, but ended up at this Best Western because of its availability and reviews. The staff at this hotel is top notch. From the front desk, to housekeeping, to the breakfast attendant, every one was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. This hotel is meticulously clean, well appointed and generous. We are very thankful we took the chance and stayed here. I would like to thank Penny, the breakfast attendant. She keeps everything clean and stocked and cares about her guests. She goes above and beyond to provide care and consideration for guests. She even provides gluten free and dairy free options. We are thankful for our wonderful experience.

I have to say, the breakfast here has to be one of the best inclusive breakfasts I've ever had at a hotel. There are so many options, for essentially every dietary need. The room was nice and big (king bed). The room seemed clean except, there were hairs on the bathmat which was rolled up on top of the toilet. The hotel is supposed to be non-smoking but the smell of smoke was pretty constant in the hallways. The pool and hot tub were kept clean.

We were really happy with this hotel. The rooms looked newly decorated. Staff were lovely Good breakfasts with hot food and muffins etc. Just missed any bread or bagels. Impressed they had gluten free muffins The pool was good too It was in a handy location for supermarket

I was in Sierra Vista for the Summit Challenge. The staff was friendly and helpful, accommodating my schedule. All areas of the campus were clean and inviting. Even though the hotel was at capacity, it was quiet in my room.

Staff was pleasant and the location excellent. Not much to see in Sierra Vista unless you want to be out in a desert. The Fort has several museums which were decent. 14 Miles away from the Mexican border was a bit nervy, especially as the border checkpoint was shut down.

We got in on Thu and my card had been canceled bc my kid went through my wallet and lost my card. So, they let me use a new card no problem. They did everything we asked and hoped for. Always staff on to get towels and pillows and help with little things like ketsup and mustard when we went to get fast food. The breakfast was good there was plenty of selection. Then I forgot my AirPods and they sent them back to me. Amazing staff and service. Wonderful place if you stay here.

This hotel is the best I've ever stayed in! The room was spacious & clean. Very modern features, including a back-lit mirror in the bathroom. The breakfast bar was amazing. What a great selection of foods. Lobby has a fridge with free bottled water, milk varieties. More towels in the bathroom would've been good. I highly recommend this hotel!

All the staffs were the best, and they have wide selection from breakfast bar everyday. Cereal, milk and soymilk, juice, bagel, waffle, sausage,bacon, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, apples,oranges, fruit cups, Chobani yogurt etc… They have a hot pool and complementary bottled water as well. I'm totally happy with my first experience at Best western.

Hotel and location were nice. As everyone is not a pet lover, it did not sit well that a LARGE dog was allowed to freely roam the kitchen buffet area. Even after front desk staff was notified, there was no sense of urgency with the staff or the owner to remove the animal from the eating area/buffet bar. Wondering if I allowed a pet snake, lizard, or rat roam around the kitchen area would it be as acceptable??? Just because some people like it doesn't mean that everyone has to be okay with it. Something to think about for "pet-friendly" environments.

We had planned in staying in Tombstone but every hotel was booked when we arrived. We found this BestWestern and were able to book a room for the night. This hotel was great!! I'm now glad we stayed here instead. The drive to Tombstone was only about 20 min. The breakfast was the best. Ladonna goes out of her way to make your experience the best.

The peace and beauty of Sierra Vista was evident in everything about this hotel. Every member of the staff was helpful and friendly, always showing consideration for anything we might possibly need. The hotel was clean and comfortable in every way, the pool area was arranged nicely and the breakfast room delightful.

We came to visit our son in near by Army base. This is the first time we are staying at this hotel and brand. Beautiful property with full amenities. Great product and service with the great price paid.

Very fun stay, location was near many of the sites we were seeing, great staff, good location and very clean hotel. There are many restaurants nearby so you can eat locally. This is a superb location for Tombstone and many other nearby cities.

Our room was changed by the front desk person at check in. She moved us to the third floor at the very end of the building (the last room on the end) but the elevator was broken on that side so she told us we could take the 3 flights of stairs or we had to use the elevator all the way at the opposite end of the building and walk back down. We were no where near our friends room who we booked with, they were on the first floor. The pool was closed the whole time. The bathroom was tiny and the door opened inside the bathroom so you could hardly move around to get in/out. There was an exposed phone cable wire hanging down the wall in our room. Overall, terrible hotel and customer service

This hotel has some of the best employees you could ask for. This includes all of them, from the front desk to the breakfast staff to the room service people. One of the cleanest hotels we've used. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is very well maintained and up to date . Staff were all very friendly checking in and checkingout. Breakfast had many options for people with food allergies and fully stocked. Complimentary water in lobby.

Our room 216 was so small it reminded me of the original Motel 6 brand. You almost had to squeeze in between the toilet and sink to brush your teeth. The water pressure in the shower/bath was so regulated that I had a difficult time getting the shampoo out of my hair. We had 2 bath towels 2 wash rags and a token hand towel. Really folks!?! I thought the Best Western “Plus” was a upgrade not something less than I have experienced in the past. The front staff was nice and helpful; our room very clean, and the balcony was awesome ..... literally the size of the entire room. I will not return merely because the room and bathroom size is totally unacceptable!

This hotel was great. The check-in person I dealt with was were really pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great and the person managing the food was great at keeping everything filled as much as she could.

The Hotel was nice and clean looking. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and had many options. Overall my stay was enjoyable. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Sierra Vista.

The room was very clean, our stay was for 7 days. The bed was super comfortable and everyone you meant where very polite and helpful. We would definitely come back.The town has everything you could need.

Where to start…a couple of good things: room was very large and clean and the staff friendly. However, there were so many small annoyances! There was a line at check in. After waiting patiently I found out why. The clerk went through the usual process then said I needed to go through screens on the pay pad and agree to everything, then sign. I went through (no exaggeration) at least a half dozen screens of fine print. If I had taken time to actually read what I was agreeing to the people in line behind me would have started a mutiny! Luckily we are averaged sized people because to close the bathroom door in the room you have to slide in between the sink and toilet. The shower curtain barely reaches the top edge of the tub so I laid a towel along the tub when showering to make sure there wasn't a puddle when I got out. A grab bar in the shower is always nice, but one placed outside the tub between the tub edge and toilet where it would be almost impossible to step out is useless. You also need to be small to use the bed nearest the window because you need to squeeze between the corner of the bed and heating/cooling unit. Breakfast was ok, we've had better. The lobby cleaner decided to vacuum, etc right outside the breakfast room door about a half hour before breakfast was finished. Had to yell to talk. Went to the front desk for something at 5:30 only to find a sign saying “back at 5:45”, no one around, no bell or anything. I assume they are short staffed because rooms were still being cleaned at 6:30 (once again, noise- vacuuming, music, etc). We didn't mind it at all but I bet others did.

Wonderful staff, great breakfast, coffee machine with delicious and varied coffees, better fridge than most, and super comfortable beds. Never had any problems, and even the internet was reliable. Would definitely stay here again.

A very nice property with friendly staff. Comfortable clean rooms that are quiet even though our room was next to the elevator on the top floor. Easy access from the highway and complimentary water in the lobby was appreciated! Excellent value when booked online thru BW.

Tbh I was a bit hesitant about staying at a Best Western but I took a chance on this one as it had good reviews and was pleasantly surprised. My room was very clean and the mattress was super comfy. Breakfast was good and while all my interactions with the staff were pleasant the breakfast staff in particular were nice. The few disappointments were some unusually loud, vulgar and drunk guests in the hot tub and a bathtub plug that didn't work so we could only take showers. However the former can't be blamed on the hotel and the latter is very minor so I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel staff was Friendly, Efficient Hotel clean, room was excellent for the price, The bathroom was clean and well stocked and the Beds very comfortable. Had to check out before Breakfast but the set up in the dining area looked great.

Pros: Nice looking room, decent lighting. Helpful desk clerk. Guest laundry has two washers and two dryers. Excellent hot breakfast very well managed. TV off, much appreciated. Our room was quiet. Closet had normal wood hangers, not the pesky security hangers. Two fold-up luggage caddies. Many nice touches like that. Hotel looks vacant because almost all the parking spaces are in the back, hidden. There is a convenient rear door. Cons: none. One of the best of the Best Western chain, bravo!

Very clean hotel and great staff!! Breakfast was great! And very convenient to fort huachuca to visit military family member! Highly recommend this for anyone visiting the area!! Looking forward to my return!!

Even though this property is fairly new, they should have worked the kinks out by now. We had a white noise machine with us, but even that didn't block out the traffic noise, the heat coming on/off (sounded like a plane landing in our room), and the phone next to the bed kept flashing a bright light every half hour or so into my face. Oh, and there is construction next door. We won't be returning there....

The hotel, including the common areas and guest rooms was one of the cleanest I have ever experienced. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The location was convenient to major highways and we enjoyed using the pool, hot tub, and fire pit. There was plenty of free parking and nearby restaurants and supermarkets were close and convenient.

I just finished hiking the 800 mile Arizona trail. For an Unsupported FKT my body ached all over and I just wanted to relax and soak In the tub. Got to the room and it was very clean. The beds were really nice and the tub was very clean. I took my bath and relaxed on the bed. Was a peaceful stay.

I have stayed here several times. This is a well managed very clean hotel with a very friendly staff. A warm well cooked breakfast, complimentary WiFi and complimentary electric vehicle charging makes it a gem in the southern Arizona region. My hat is off to the management staff of this hotel.

Very clean, delicious full breakfast, and wonderful location. After visiting Karchner Caverns we spent the night here. Beautiful view of the mountains and close proximity to any of our needs. Rooms were immaculate and quiet. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Better than usual breakfast for those with milk allergies. Soy milk, almond milk and milk free muffins. Usual waffles, scrambled eggs sausage and bacon. King bed room way smaller than most. Room 412. No anti slip in tub shower and no grab bars. Slipped twice. Two towels one washcloth. Condition overall is good. Anti fog in bathroom mirror nice. Checked in room had privacy placard on handle an key card wouldn't work. Gave us another room.

I looked at 12 different area hotels and this one was the best option. At first the price seemed a little high but after our experience, the price was great. The room was like 'brand new' clean, very comfortable bed, no noise disturbance; the room decor was very attractive, the mountain view of our room was beautiful. The staff (front desk, housekeeping and breakfast area) was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast could not have been better with a variety of hot and cold items being offered. The precautions they take to avoid spread of germs is excellent. The entire stay was wonderful. I recommend this hotel over any other in the area.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable; had plenty of pillows. Had a keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, plenty of towels. The breakfast consisted of eggs, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, fruit, yogurt, etc.

Everyone we came across was super nice and helpful but Brandy helped us with everything from checking in and out to answering random questions about the area. She's a sweetheart and definitely made me want to only stay at this hotel in the future. Never had my family and I had such an enjoyable experience as we did at this hotel.

I checked out of one hotel and drive by several I was considering. This hotel looked to be the best and I couldn't have asked for anything better. The room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast offered a large selection of items.

The hotel was extremely clean and fresh! The staff made you feel as if you were coming home, they all were wonderful!! I stay at a lot of high end hotels and they could take lessons from Best Western.

I left early every morning and liked how easy & quickly it was to get on AZ-90 and then to AZ-82. In the evening, Fry Blvd has restaurants and grocery stores which was close & easy access also (although there is construction). I didn't have time to eat breakfast or go in the pool area. Pantry could use more variety of items for sale. Will stay again if in Sierra Vista.

Recent stay at Best Western Plus Sun Canyon in Sierra Vista was great! The room was comfortable, quiet (we were on the 2nd floor) clean, well appointed, very comfortable king size bed and nice pillows. My one complaint was the size of the bathroom - the only way 2 could be in there at the same time is if one was in the bathtub. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay. All staff were friendly, breakfast was good; we felt welcomed. I'm just sorry we weren't able to use the beautiful pool because of the weather. We will visit again! within 2 minutes of Fort Huachuca gate.

Nice location close to the Army base. Pool and hot tub were refreshing. Breakfast was only grab and go still but a lot of options were available. Very clean rooms. Receptionist was very nice. Would stay here again.

Even during COVID the front staff great you with a smile and ensure that you feel welcome the rooms are super clean. The parking lot to the hotel is nice and clean and everyone is encouraged to use there proper mask and use hand sanitizer.

Pros: Hotel and rooms (we traveled with another couple) felt clean and safe. Arrangements for COVID-19 were well planned and most of the guests adhered to rules and restrictions in the public areas. Cons: King bed rooms were modest but acceptable for the price point. The bathrooms were unbelievably small. The bathtubs did not have a non-skid bottom nor were mats provided and therefore extremely slippery. Water pressure was on the low side. Both rooms had 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, and 2 wash cloths; king beds had 2 pillows. When we requested extra pillows & 1 extra hand towel per room the desk clerk seemed put out. The refrigerator in our room had a loud buzz when we were trying to sleep so we unplugged it.

It was a great place stay .... Customer service was great, a clean and quiet place to check in to after driving all day. The parking lot was easy-to-get in and out of .an early check-out was perfect....

i stayed here two nights on a birding tour during covid. staff was extremely friendly, wore masks, had bag breakfasts to go. clean room. tiny bathroom but, since i had a broken foot anyway, this turned out to be more convenient.

I was there for only one night but this wad the second time that I've stayed there and both times were wonderful. On this time I stayed I wad hurrying pretty bad and woke up, got up and wad going to have a cig outside and noticed that the pool was still open at 1:30am so I got in the hot tub for about 30-45 min it was great I went back to the room and fell asleep.

My family stayed here for a couple days to visit Tombstone and it was excellent. The hotel is about 20-25 minute drive to Tombstone, which wasn't bad at all. The hotel was very clean and up to date. We didn't get to try the usual breakfast because of the Covid situation, however they did provide a nice little breakfast that consisted of a muffin, granola bar and a piece of fruit. They also offered yogurt and cereal. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Thank you for taking precautions due to the pandemic and making our stay both safe and fun. The room was clean and the facility had clearly marked guidelines for social distancing. The staff was friendly and kind to me and my children.

This is the cleanest Best Western hotel we Have stayed in during our travels. Immaculate hotel, rooms and facilities! Lots of care and hard work is shown by the staff. Breakfast is super; Happy Hour is a plus!! Pool was warm and very clean, as was hot tub. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

When we read reviews of this hotel, we noticed that several people mentioned the size of the room. We soon realized what they meant!!! The rooms - both bedroom and bath, are very, very small. The size of the room aside, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of delightful! Everything was fresh and updated, and everything was incredibly clean. We were surprised by the wine and beer 'Happy Hour' each evening and found it to be most welcome at the end of a busy day. The hotel staff were both friendly and helpful, and the hotel location could not have been more convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Sun Canyon, and look forward to a return.

My wife and I recently stayed here 4 nights for a family wedding...truly a wonderful experience. Clean, friendly staff, free snacks and a complimentary breakfast that featured everything you could want...they even gave us a AAA discount. This is hands down the best hotel experience we've ever had. It's also conveniently located in Sierra Vista. We'll be back!

The room accommodation exceeded our expectations. When returned to our room at day's end, the room was cleaned and soiled towels replaced. The desk was large enough to spread out work in the evening. This BW had the best mattress for a good night's sleep, better than the one I have at home. Plus extra pillows. The breakfast offered a variety of options to meet almost everyone's tastes. Suggest you request a room facing west, overlooking Fort Huachuca (not much to see) and the Huachuca Mountains.

We were quite surprised to find such a small bedroom and bathroom compared to other Best Westerns we have stayed at. We were excited to stay here as we were aware that it was a relatively new property, but disappointed when we saw the size of the space. Breakfast included several fresh fruits, but coffee pot and orange juice was empty quite often. Plastic ware and plastic dishes are a real turnoff. We were here to celebrate a birthday and anniversary, but would most likely not return.

The staff did not recognise us as diamond members. No gift bag or upgrade . The bathrooms were tiny I don't how this hotel got the Best Western Plus statise . People at breakfast were complaining about the size of the rooms, mostly the bathrooms.

We just stayed here on Feb 19 and 20. The staff is fantastic, the entire facility is extremely clean, the room comfy, the breakfast had a good variety, including gluten free and dairy free options. This is the best choice for your stay in Sierra Vista.

This is a nice hotel. Rooms were clean and in good order. Bathroom is tiny but clean. There is a fire pit outside and bbq which are nice extras. Location is quiet but still convenient. The reason I only gave it four stars is due to the breakfast and housekeeping. Towels and room amenities were not replaced. Breakfast was good but items were not replenished in a timely manner. They even ran out of basic items like jelly.

We spent almost 5 weeks at the Sun Canyon Best Western as we had our house remodeled and needed to move out. We could not have been treated better than we were at the Sun Canyon. Every person we dealt with was friendly and nice and the breakfast was great.

This bathroom (room 101) was ridiculously cramped and small. There was a huge closet outside of the bathroom where they could have extended the space. So first of all the bathroom door opened inward and almost hit the toilet. The toilet was blocking half of the bathtub/shower. The toilet roll was under the sink but behind the toilet so you had to reach backwards. The door had to be closed to even enter or exit the shower. It seemed like this hotel had been remodeled so I have no idea why they made the bathroom this way. It was a pain in the butt (pun intended) the entire stay. My husband stayed with me and said he couldn't stand right in front of the sink because the toilet was in the way. I don't know if all the bathrooms are this way in this hotel but I will never stay here again and they should not use that room if it's the only cramped small bathroom. (Also a stain on the ceiling) The reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is because everything else at the hotel was pretty ok.

New location with impeccable service and staff. As is the Best Western style their beds are super comfy. Their full hot breakfast at this location includes bacon sausage. On The West End of town so access to businesses is super .

Very friendly and helpful staff! They were responsive to all our questions and helped us with our daytime travel plans. Very comfortable stay. Enjoyed our experience. The "happy hour" was a nice bonus! Breakfast was substantial and good.

We were impressed by our experience from the first moment entering the very updated lobby and hotel. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful especially since we were checking in many people. They provided some snacks and beverages were available 24/7. The rooms were very clean and updated. The breakfast was fantastic with options for everyone. Regina and crew were funny, happy, and great to work with at the hotel. PS great fire pit!

I was a little uneasy about selecting this hotel because the pictures on the website made the outside look a little run down. However - I am glad that I didnt let that stop us. We had a great stay at this hotel and would definitly stay again should we ever find ourselves in Sierra Vista again. The staff was wonderful and accomodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The interior of the hotel was very nice in general. The breakfast was very good - I would have like to see bananas, but that is just my preference. The eggs looked either greasy or watery - I didn't choose to eat them so I am not sure. Other than that it was a very well laid out and tended breakfast service. The only reason I didn't rate as excellant is the water pressure in the shower was so low that it took a very long time to get all the shampoo out of my hair. Really a great property!

What is better than a Best Western? A NEW Best Western! It has been open for about a year and the location is just great. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was just fine. Regina at the front desk answered all my questions about Sierra Vista and Cochise County. I will definitely return to this property when I am in the area again.

Regina will make sure you have everything you need. Now I have no choice but to write at least 200 characters so now I'm writing just to write. This place was great, I would recommend it to anyone. I don't see myself gong to Sierra Vista again, but if I do this is where I will stay.

The hotel is new and you could tell. The facilities were modern and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, a full breakfast not a cheap continental breakfast ripoff. The facility is in a good location and was quite. Highly recommend anyone going to Sierra Vista to stay in this hotel. The new toilets work great but a really noisy and wake anyone up that's sleeping even with the bathroom door closed. Recommend trays for carrying breakfast to room.

We enjoyed our stay at this Best Western! Our room and common areas were spotless! Front desk, Andrew, was very kind and helpful! Housekeeping was great! Breakfast attendant kept food filled and fresh!

What a wonderful motel. First time here and I was skeptical of the high ratings I saw. Now that we have stayed here I get it! The motel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was super friendly. A special shoutout goes to Vicki at the front desk. The breakfast was one of the best hotel chain breakfasts ever. It has a huge variety and little special touches like red and green chili and cheese to go on the eggs. Bacon and sausage, perfect. They also unexpectedly have a happy hour thrown in where you get a free beer or wine. The room was clean and the bed super comfortable. I wouldn't stay any where else in Sierra Vista.

This hotel is either brand new or just finished being renovated - it's clean, modern, yet homey and welcoming. The front desk when I checked in was excellent. I paid using gift cards, and have had trouble in the past at other Best Westerns with no one knowing how to apply them. But the man at check-in knew how and took care of it quickly. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were great! The bed was so comfortable for the first time in years I didn't wake up with back pain. The hotel breakfast was probably one of the best I've ever had. I came to Arizona to see my daughter in the Army and I don't have money to waste so after reading many reviews and the price I selected this hotel and I wasn't disappointed. The only things I noticed was the bathroom was a little small and the shower was more of a sprinkle. There's not as much water pressure as I like, but I was very happy with the hotel! The LED lights can be a bit much, but all those things are minor. Great place to stay!

Security seemed minimal - noisy suspicious stuff kept happening outside overnight while the staff admitted to seldom making rounds or watching the security camera feeds - and the fridge wasn't working when I arrived, though the maintenance staff got it working later. That was a big relief because he couldn't find another working unit to swap mine with, and that sort of potential hassle alone would deter me from returning! Some of the staff seemed rather defensive when I offered feedback now and then. Cat-friendliness is limited to only a few rooms, so if I returned with Kitty, definitely I wouldn't be able to rent a balcony room, which is the only attraction for me there. The WiFi worked fine for my purposes and the hot breakfasts I judged okay, typical for buffet-style. The socials I appreciated. My King room was mostly functional, but felt cramped, with oversized, uncomfortable chairs that I had to push past - there was no real desk with an office chair (only room for a small table and those stiff, stuffed chairs). The huge balcony was where I spent hours upon hours anyway, but even so, I've decided not to return, for the other reasons.

In just about every hotel we go to, I think that a manager or one of the higher ups ought to try staying at their own hotel to experience it and this place feels like somebody actually took the time and did just that. ALL the small stuff was taken care of from easy and clear instructions/guides to convenient usb and electric plugs to cleanliness and hospitality and beyond. This really felt like an expensive hotel and not one that was both budget- and pet-freindly. We were there Thanksgiving day/night and the weather was terrible but they have a lovely heated pool and a firepit and we actually did see a family take advantage of the pool even with the weather! The breakfast bar was terrific with everything anybody could possibly want from fruit, yogurts and cereals to eggs, sausages and bacon and beyond. They even have a coffee and hot drinks available at any time for guests at no additional charge. There's other perks too. I do want to make extra mention of the woman at the front desk who was extremely helpful and pleasant. I don't think of Sierra Vista as a destination normally but this hotel was so exceptional, we're planning on a return visit in the not-too-distant future for at least a couple of nights to be able to have close access to area attractions like Kartchner Caverns and Tombstone and such.

We stayed in October at this hotel and it is well worth its 5 star rating. We were booked for 3 nights but ended up staying 6. The staff were very friendly and took pride in keeping their Trip Adviser rating up. Ruby, Vicki and Andrew were amazing with their "Can Do Attitude". The room we had was handicap accessible so the bathroom was a very nice size. We hear from others that the standard bathrooms were small. All the rooms have been renovated.The pool area was kept very clean with lots of seating. There is a natural gas BBQ area with natural gas fire pit, great for socializing. We enjoyed having the BBQ available to make dinner. On Mon-Thursday the hotel provides "Happy Hour" where they give you 2 free beverages and snacks. It was something we looked forward to after our days of adventure. The location of this hotel was centrally located and a great home base.Well in the area we enjoyed visiting- Bisbee ( Queen Mine Tour and Lavender Pit ) Lowell ( A deserted old town street lost in time) Montezuma Canyon in Coronado National Park, Toombstone, Kartchner Caverns, and Brown Canyon Ranch. Breakfast in this hotel was very nice with a larger variety of hot and cold options. We learned that when you stay at the Best Western Plus hotels make them a grade above other BW properties that can be older. Be sure to look closely at the big fir tree by the BBQ- it is a cell tower. LOL

We found the service throughout the hotel to friendly and timely in what they did for us. The room was clean and comfortable, with a big bathroom, comfortable beds, and well equipped. A second chair in the room would have been nice. The breakfast was the best we have experienced with hotels that include it. We found the location to be very convenient based on what we were there to accomplish.

This is literally the “best” Best Western I have stayed in. Clean rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly staff nicely updated. They do such a great job that they can be fully booked so grab rooms when you can. Thanks also to the staff for caring for our military as many who stayed were connected with Fort Houchuta.

We stayed here when taking the Kartchner Caverns tour. The hotel is south of the caverns and we were concerned about being closer to Mexico boarder. The hotel and city were good no concerns after staying and eating there. The bathroom in our room was a little small only a one person room. New hotel and nice otherwise.

This is a well located, nicely done, squeaky clean modern hotel. We look for Best Western Plus hotels and this fit the bill. The hot breakfast had a nice assortment of a variety of options. Front desk person Andrew accommodated my special request after I had broken my foot a few days prior. We will defiitely stay here again.

I had been looking at this hotel online and needed an accessible room. I waited too long, because when I was ready to book - the accessible rooms were gone. I called the hotel and Sheena was the first to help - she booked us a King room - but promised to watch for an accessible room (which apparently she did find for us). The night before arrival, I saw online that a King roll in shower accessible room was available. I called the hotel again, and ANDREW was able to switch rooms for us. This resulted in a no hassle night. It is appreciated.

This hotel was one of the best hotels that I have stayed at recently. The staff was caring. They had a wide assortment of non alcoholic drinks available for the people that do not drink alcohol. They had an assortment of snacks laid out during the time period also.

I enjoyed staying at the this hotel and the balcony room was so wonderful. I loved stepping outside in the morning when things were still calm. All the workers were very nice and efficient. The location of the hotel was in close proximity to almost everything.

New hotel, poor sound control. Check-in staff easily confused. Breakfast was average, the food attendant was very nice and helpful. Beds were very hard. Night reception, very plain. No soft drinks visible.

Nice place, convenient location near restaurants. Great check out time of noon. Breakfast selections plentiful. Coffee and tea always in lobby. Hot tub large and with a view of mountains. Large rooms with frig and microwaves. And a real coffee pot, not the keurig model.s

Check in without a reservation, the front desk clerk was extremely helpful in getting us a room. The room with a king bed was very clean, warm, and inviting. Our location was close to the main street thru town. Best of all we enjoyed their breakfast!!

We used to live in Sierra Vista and had returned to visit friends. We booked this hotel for our stay It has had a great remodel. Very modern. Bathroom was a little small, but other then that we had a great stay. Mon-Thurs they have a social hour in the lobby with free snacks and drinks! Breakfast buffet was really good too

Better than Hilton. I spend over 200 nights a year on the road living in hotels. As a Hilton gold member I usually stay at Hilton's. Most nights my rooms are compt. I came to Fort Huachuca and could have stayed anywhere. This particular time rooms weren't compt. I heard about this hotel and could not of been more pleased. Half the overnight cost twice the value.

Awesome hotel for a great price! They had a lovely happy hour with two complimentary beers or wine per person and a variety of snacks. The property was very nice and well cared for. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again!

All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They provided free snacks and alcoholic beverages during the evening which I greatly appreciated. If you are visiting someone stationed at Ft. Huachuca this is the perfect place to stay and only a few minutes away from post.

This property is awesome. 1st, love that i get my bill under the door. i know its a small thing, but i wish others did it too. As a traveler i really look for electrical outlets to plug in all my stuff, computer, ipad, 2 phones, hot spots, etc. this place has updated with that in mind. Love the lighting in the bathroom. a girl can put on her makeup and not in the dim or dark. The room i had, had a full fridge. something i look for instead of those real tiny dorm ones. everything was clean. pillows soft and medium. will stay here again when in the area and highly recommend. staff is helpful too.

BW was my choice for many years then the quality slipped in the 90s , I moved to other chains. This last trip I gave them a shot and I am very happy with the service and facilities . May be I got lucky but this hotel provided great VALUE , the building and facilities are in good shape, the staff were truly friendly they met and exceeded my expectations.

The location is perfect. It's near the Huachuca mountains and Ft Huachuca. It's also seconds from the Buffalo Soldier Road, a major route through the area. The Mountain View Golf Course is minutes away.

In town for Bisbee Blues Festival & are we glad we choose here to stay. Beautiful hotel, great service, top notch rooms. Easy to visit overall area of Benson, Tombstone, Bisbee etc. Great food nearby like The Country House. Beautiful sights like Our Lady of the Sierra's.

This hotel was situated in a beautiful area of Sierra Vista, AZ. The staff was awesome and very accomadating! The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little cramped, but doable. Looking forward to our next stay in November when we return to Sierra Vista.

We've never seen a hotel before with nothing but good reviews so we had to check it out. It definitely deserves its high ranking. Andrew is great at check-in, the rooms are clean and quiet, pool and hot tub are great, breakfast is fabulous. This hotel was remodeled earlier this year and it shows as everything is immaculate. Definitely will stay here again.

I was visiting my husband at the fort Huachuca base and stayed here for the weekend. The hotel was more than expected. There were a variety of breakfast options every morning and the staff was very nice. The rooms were clean and the pool/hot tub were a plus for the hot days. This is a must stay if visiting the fort Huachuca/Sierra Vista area.

Seriously forgot my $3000 laptop in the hotel room and iPad and drove off hundreds of miles. The staff immediately went to the room, found it, personally packed it and overnighted to my home. Highly recommend!

I stayed here on a business trip because it was within budget (actually below budget). It was the nicest hotel I have stayed in in a very long time. Let me preference with I do not normally stay at Best Western chains. It was clean (Immaculate), fresh, lots of parking, nice fitness center, and cute decor. Cleanliness was above all. The hotel staff was also great. I would highly recommend this hotel and when in the area will definitely stay here again. Only downfall is it was slightly farther away from restaurants than other hotels.

Stayed here after spending a long day in tombstone. Rooms were new and clean. Friendly staff greeted us and the complimentary breakfast was high quality- it even had fresh strawberries and blueberries!

The hotel was clean, staff friendly and breakfast great! We stayed with a large group (13 rooms) and they were able to help accommodate us! It was close to tourist attractions as well. There is also a great taco place that the front desk recommended just up the street. I think 143 Street Tacos!

We really enjoyed the area and closeness to a number of really cool and historic attractions. We also used the time to do a little research into a likely area for us to retire in a few years. Thank youBest Western for being a part of our future planning.

This a very nice new hotel. The people at check in were very nice. The beer and wine happy hour is a nice touch. We didn't do breakfast. I rented two rooms for my wife and I and my daughter and her friend. Our room was fine but there plumbing backed up to dog hair in the drain. It wasn't taken care of till AM.They have a really nice fire pit to sit around but we got smoked out by the smokers so we left. Tried the pool and it was the same problem. I would stay here again because of the staff they were over the top.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while visiting my son for his AIT graduation at nearby Fort Huachuca. The staff was amazing. From the front desk clerks to the room service attendants to the ladies preparing breakfast every morning, everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Each person went out of their way to make sure that my visit went well. So far this year, I've stayed at BWs in 3 different locations and this was the nicest visit yet. Keep up the good work!

Love my Best Western Hotel because they are the best. I won't stay any where else but at Best Western. This summer we went on vacation for 7 days and we stayed at Best Western Hotels every day. We went from San Antonio, Tx. to New Mexico and Arizona. It was a wonderful vacation . Our services at the hotel were the best starting with free breakfast, great beds and great members that treated us like family.

Sierra vista is a growing town , glad you have a variety of hotels to accommodate. Lots of places to eat that are easy to find and not too far from hotel. Lots of mom and pop restaurants, small stores add to the small town appeal off of Fry

I have been out for a few years but was back in town visiting my daughter on base. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a tv room lobby with a group of girls who took me back to pcs season with the family. The hotel is great for this! There are places outside to hang out, the pool area is nice, the lobby, eating area were all great. As well the staff was super nice. If you are in visiting with your kids this is the hotel for you!

Just remodeled and very nice. Bathroom a little small but everything nice and new. Very good breakfast and nice, efficient staff. Location is very good relative to the city and there was plenty of parking to park our U haul and trailer.

Property is located near a main entry gate to Fort Huachuca and within walking distance of numerous local businesses. The property is relatively new and has many updates and upgrades compared to other hotels within this chain. Service personnel are friendly, courteous, helpful and kind throughout the entire visit.

Went to visit my daughter at Ft. Huachuca. Location is perfect since it's so close to base! SV has so many amenities that we were never bored. Went sightseeing in Bisbee, Tombstone, and Kartchner Caves! Oh and Our Lady of the Sierras! Love that it is cooler than Phoenix & Tucson too!!

We stayed at the Sun Country Hotel while visiting friends in the area. We found the rooms to be very nicely furnished, quiet and comfortable. Our friends met us for happy hour at the hotel. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful making everyone feel welcome.

It's true the beds are heavenly. The room was comfortable and included a fridge and microwave and k-cup coffee machine. Ample pillows and towels. The included full breakfast was hot and delicious (scrambled eggs, scrambled egg whites with spinach, sausage, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, fresh waffles) with a variety of choices and if you enjoy specialty coffee then that's covered too. The location is safe and close to many restaurants, fast food, and stores. The staff was polite and helpful. There is no room service but for $89 a night and considering the numerous food places nearby, it's really not an issue. They have a vending fridge at the check-in area with a variety of items for sale including free water, ice cream, frozen dinners, etc. We had a mountain view room which was beautiful. The bed was super comfortable with perfect blankets and tons of comfortable pillows. The room was quiet (4th floor) and the room darkening shades were appreciated!

The entire staff at this location is friendly and very helpful. They all go out of their way to make traveling easier for their visitors. I will definitely stay at this location again. Very good location.

Hotel was outstanding!! Great remodel job with exception of tiny bathroom but this was older property and I was traveling alone, so not a problem. Property was immaculate and extremely friendly staff.

I had a wonderful stay here. Hotel is New and very clean. Breakfast was very good. Lots of variety two egg dishes, sausage and bacon. Variety of coffee and fruit juice. Waffles and fruit. Evening snacks and wine and beer. Bathroom mirror lighted from the back and fancy faucet. Parking in the back. Nice pool. Not near restaurants. Off main highway but quiet.

Great service, environment and overall stay! The rooms were very nice and perfect for work and leisure time. The breakfast and other dining times were perfect, there was no physical restaurant, but complimentary snacks and drinks at all times.

This hotel was fully renovated. Job well done on the overhaul. The staff is friendly and the hotel is nice and clean. The breakfast room has this amazing automatic coffee machine that puts out all sorts of coffee types. I would stay here again.

Happily surprised at my recent stay at Best Western Plus Sun Canyon. This Best Western is definitely on par with the more expensive leading brand hotels. From the complete renovation, proximity to the base, within 1 mile of restaurants/fast food options, and lets not forget the mountain view, this Best Western has definitely been added as the place to stay whenever i'm in Sierra Vista. And let's not forget the staff, they are AMAZING! The lady at the front desk (slim build, glasses and close cut; I can't remember her name) made sure my stay was perfect and checked in on me whenever she saw me. She is the epitome of Hospitality!

I was blown away by this hotel. The level of customer service was wonderful. The room spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. One downfall was we were on the mountain side and the curtains don't block out the sun. I've stayed in other hotels in this area, this is by far the best. Photo was the view from our room.

The Sun Canyon Best Western was a great place to stay. The breakfast line up was delicious and the staff were a joy to be around. We were visiting Ft Huachucha and the hotel was right across the street from it.

We stay here at the BW for our side trips. Kartchner caverns and Tombstone. Very nice place to stay and very comfortable, breakfast in the morning was very good. Will stay again when we come back for more exploring.

All I have to say is that we were pretty impressed by the BW. I never stay at a best western. I usually stay at the Marriott or Indigos. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and updated. The breakfast was phenomenal! I also heard they offer free beer during the week ! I would definitely come back and stay at the Best Western Sun Canyon. Oh I forgot the mention that they have a fire pit outside next to the pool and jacuzzi area!

The staff were very friendly, and the room was very clean & comfortable. Got a great night's sleep. I'd definitely return to this hotel again if I'm in the area. I'd just avoid the hot breakfast foods and stick with the breads and muffins instead.

An excellent experience. Great happy hour and very good breakfast. Ruby and Regina made our stay even more enjoyable. They went above and beyond in helping us with directions and maps to see the attractions we wanted. Would be our first selection on another visit. All in all excellent.

It's spotless. Room was very nice though bathroom was small. Personnel were wonderful- friendly, well trained, went the extra mile. Breakfast was a real breakfast with real food & a great attendant. We could not have been happier! Linens were nice. Even the little shampoos, etc., were good. What's not to like?

booked this room on our way back from a great day in bisbee ..... the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable - the hotel remodel was done well and with great colors - the staff was kind and welcoming - breakfast was very good and they never an out of anything - parking lot has a lot of lights and although only in the back - you felt safe A couple of misses: - all the lighting in the room is cold color aka cool white bulbs ..... it would be nice to have had at least one soft aka warm bulb in the room - the kichtenette sink faucet need to be at such a height that you can fit something under it to wash like a reuseable travel - it would be super if housekeeping would make sure all alarms are off from the prior guest .... not fun waking up before the sun when you didn't want to

Our group of 9 needed 6 rooms. We searched the interweb the night before and found a new Best Western Plus. The Marriott Fairfield Inn was $199 and this hotel advertised $98 but with rewards only $89. A clean foyer with complementary beer & wine greeted us upon arrival. Regina was our phone contact, and helped secure the best rate for all the members of our traveling party. She handled all the reservation perfectly and was a smiling face to greet us upon arrival the next day. Vicki helped check us in and offered snickerdoodle cookies for all, and sodas for our non drinkers. Our rooms were spotless, had large (50”) TV and 2 comfortable queen beds. Linens were a touch upscale as were towels and soaps. In the morning breakfast options (included at no addl charge) were eggs, egg whites crispy bacon, sausage, bisquits, waffles, toast, bagels cereal, yohgurt of many flavors and more. Coffee, juice, of course. Our group comprised seasoned world travelers, most staying 30 days/year in a hotel. We were uniformly overly complementary about both the quality and value. Ruby and Shana checked us out with speed and good humor. Great job and an A+ from our group!

This hotel was recently remodeled.. Everything from top to bottom was new and fresh. The hotel was located in an excellent location. The breakfast selection was fresh and had a great variety. The staff was attentive and insured that everything was satisfactory. The only down side would be that the bathroom was small in comparison to the rest of the room. Definitely would stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Stayed here on business. VERY welcoming staff with a lot of attention to detail. Hotel seems very new, and rooms were nice,clean and comfortable for the price point. Decent hot breakfast setup. Will stay here again.

3 night stay and the staff were phenomenal! Room was very comfortable and pleasant. New everything!!!! Breakfast is hot and fresh. Cappuccino machine. Nice sized pool and jacuzzi. Quiet, ultra clean, and the best hotel staff we have ever met!!!!!
