« Excellent staff, rooms not so much »

Decent location, one block from Space needle and within walking distance to several restaurants. The staff made the difference. The rooms are older than old. In desperate need of remodel. Skip the 10.00 nominal charge for breakfast, glorified continental bfas....

« Perfect for a Seattle Center weekend. »

My daughter and I were participating in a 5K run at Seattle Center, so chose this location from the map. It was a perfect headquarters for our activities! We could stroll over to the Space Needle, the Chihuly Museum, the MoPop, the Monorail, and the Pacific Science Center whenever we wanted. Being so close meant we could time our visits to the busiest attractions when it wasn't so crowded. And we could easily zip back to the room when it was time for a break. Perfect for the quick nap! The rooms were comfortable and quiet with a gorgeous view of the Space Needle and Frank Gehry's iconic MoPop architecture. The beds were super comfy, with lots of pillows and the room was quiet. Internet was fast, which meant a lot to a mobile working professional like me. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning. I would definitely stay here again at a moment's notice. We loved our stay!

« The perfect location for a weekend in Seattle »

This was our first time staying in a Best Western right in the heart of Seattle Center, and we were extremely happy with our choice. The hotel is centrally located to everything you might want to do, including walking down to Pike Place, or throughout the Downtown core. Staff were superbly friendly, eager to help, and always available if you needed them. We enjoyed breakfast on our last morning and the selection was just right, and a great way to get our day started. Our rooms were clean, and had a fantastic view of the Space Needle, and we loved the eco-friendliness of the hotel too (they don't replace towels and bedding every single day unless requested). We'll be back again!

« Nice stay at a very good location »

This hotel has nice, big and clean rooms and the service at the desk was to the point and friendly. The restaurants offers simple food and very good beers. The location was excellent and I reccomend this hotal any time.

« Good hotel next to the space needle »

We looked for a hotel near Seattle's city center/space needle at an affordable price. Check-in was quick and friendly. The room was decently sized and clean. Bonus was a view right to the space needle. Checkout was fine, too. The only disappointment was the breakfast. The buffet nearly didn't have any selection. Even the coffee was empty. Only when cleaning up the dishes the waitress asked whether we wanted anything else. So we finally got some coffee. But no choice of pancakes, french toast or omelette. I'm not sure if they didn't offer any or just we weren't offered any.

« Terrible attitude, old look, depressing atmosphere. »

Arrived at the hotel, immediately encountered can't-do attitude from the front desk guy. Being cynical about my request to see the room before and threatening me to cancel the reservation. If you like old rooms from the 70's with a view to the parking lot and bad and unhelpful attitude, that's the place. Luckily enough I was on a business trip for two nights only and didn't need to spend my time in this place. Honestly speaking dont know how they got 4 stars here.

    « Great location & view, Attentive Employees + a great property »

We stayed here 4 nights in a Space Needle view room & had a marvelous stay! The Breakfast Buffet is very good, as is the selection of offerings. We really appreciated the secure underground parking & the walking distance to Seattle Center + many restaurants. Brella's was delicious for a light dinner + local wines & beers. When we come back to Seattle, we will definitely stay here again! : )

    « Best Western »

Everything was excellent from service to comfort of the room and the location. Only complaint I have is that your toilets are way too low. Had to get a riser. You need to consider this for older patrons.

« Not as good as pictures suggest »

From the outside the hotel looks decent enough but the best thing about our room was the view which is a shame since the room looks very dated and had a way too used feel to it. Lots of plastic rubbish when making a cup of coffee in the room. Staff is nice and parking was good on site. When running the air con, I had to cough hard and repeatedly. God knows what they do with the filters. We stayed one night because it's central and close to the Needle. Breakfast was ok. Nothing extra special. I cannot recommend this hotel fully to be honest.

« Great group trip experience »

I stayed for three nights with 24 high school students, and everything went smoothly. Staff was super friendly, rooms were clean, free internet worked well. Parking lot was a challenge with large vans, but they worked with us to get creative for parking.

    « Quiet downtown Seattle »

This location was very nice for being virtually in downtown. The Space needle was right there as well as a museum with a couple of blocks. The only negative was finding it. Worth the drive and search though.

« Great Location! Friendly & Professional Staff! »

This is such a great hotel for anyone looking to stay in the downtown Seattle area but not looking to pay premium hotel rates. You're close to the Space Needle, EMP, restaurants and the rest of the downtown Seattle offerings (all walkable). The parking fee is minimal and you're offered either an open lot or garage/covered parking; hotel staff is VERY friendly, very professional ? some of the larger hotels in downtown Seattle could take a page from this hotel's customer service and training manual. This hotel, while dated, is clean, safe and what you would expect from a hotel in this category. The beds - very comfortable! They truly rival the beds at the Westins of the World so you will have a comfortable nights sleep. Did I mention the service? Everyone is very friendly, from the Housekeeping Staff to the Front Desk Agents! Great place!

    2
« Run down hotel near the needle »

The staff at this hotel were very professional, and the best part of my experience. The hotel was run down and in desperate need of an update. The location is near the space needle and Amazon Go store. If you take the monorail you can get to the Westlake station and pike place fast. I would only recommend this place if you were looking for something affordable in the area. You should skip the breakfast, not good, the same thing every day, sausage bacon greasy potatoes and scrambled eggs. you are better off going to a local restaurant.

« BW Seattle Center Area »

great hotel, very comfortable rooms and bed. excellent and helpful check in staff... nice breakfast and great location in busy Seattle. nice fitness center, very good wifi and free parking if you're a BW club member.

« Good value in great location »

I had a spacious room with a comfortable bed for 98.00 US. plus tax. it is convenient located by the space needle and the mini rail and chihuly glass garden and museum of pop art and Pacific Science Centre. Price included breakfast for two people if you are a rewards member. The breakfast gad good selection of hot and cold and very attentive attendant although it is self serve breakfast . Good value. Parking extra 19 00 for a day. Picture is from my window of my room.

« Comfy and Average Room »

I like this hotel because it was very close to major attractions like the Space Needle. It is a far walk (I don't like walking lol). to Pike Place and such. It was my first time in Seattle and with all the business my group and I had, I was happy to sleep in such a comfy bed. The breakfast was okay but worth $11. I just wish there was rice. But since weed is legal there, the entire hotel, the hallway, floors, and my room smelled like weed. I hated that part. Our fridge also was hot at one point. It took too long for maintenance to come up. She did not come back after she said she was gonna talk to her boss for us to switch rooms. The room is huge though. 4 big luggage and there was enough space to lay it out. Bathroom was clean and I liked how the shampoo etc. was on the wall and easy to use.

    « Great location »

Room at this hotel was large and adequate for our need. We did have a room with a view of the space needle. This hotel is close to everything, you can walk to pikes place market ( about 20-30 mins) and 2 mins to space needle/key arena area. The only part that was not great was, while the resteraunt was open daily for breakfast, it was closed sun and mon for dinners or eve drinks and entertainment. There was a free pool table in the pub too. Front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful.

    4
    « Great Location! »

This was an older hotel but everything was clean and in working order. Although the description said there was a pool, there is not. It was conveniently located to the monorail which enabled us to get around Seattle without renting a car. Plus, we could walk to Chihuly, the Space Needle and the Science Ctr. Only a couple of restaurants were nearby, and the restaurant in the hotel only served hamburgers which was okay for our short stay. Breakfast was always hot and fresh. We would definitely stay there again!

    4
    « Seattle fun »

Great price and didn't lose an arm. Leg, kidney, and lung with the extra fees and parking. This was the only hotel I found that didn't charge all that. Great nights rest in a good area within walking distance to several sites.

    « What happened? »

As always, the front staff and the room were excellent. The table that is passed off as a desk in the room (516) was starting to collapse when we first walked into the room. I fixed it well enough to last our stay. This was reported to the front desk. The chair for that table is entirely too short for that table, even at full height. I asked for a replacement, and nothing happened after an hour. As we were leaving for dinner, I asked again. Three hours later, when we returned, still nothing. I went to the desk, and asked why. I was told that the chair worked. I told the clerk that wasn't the issue. She got me a chair out of the business center, since, according to her those computers were all "broken" (!!). It was a good height for the table. The full service restaurant is closed. You can order from the kitchen for food in the bar, but you are limited to bar snacks and burgers. The breakfast buffet is no different than what you would find at a BW on the Interstate. Having a full service place to eat on site was a major consideration when we started staying here some years ago. A lot has happened to this hotel in the last year, and none of it was good.

« Walking distance to space needle »

Great location if you're visiting the Space Needleo or other nearby attractions. Front desk extremely helpful in letting you know the best way to get around. Breakfast is $10 a person and nothing special but there's a McDonald's around the corner. Parking is $19 a day but beware there is a 6 foot clearance in the parking garage under the building a large truck or SUV will not fit. Rooms are clean and there is coffee in the room but no hot coffee in the lobby.

    2
« Only thing going for it is the Location & the Breakfast »

It's right across the street from the space needle. Chances are, you'll see it from your room. I wanted to call this an average rating but just the general ambience of the place feels so, so, motel-ish. The hallways give me a heebie-jeebie vibe. Pros: The breakfast in the morning is adequate an cheap. Location. Con: I feel like I've stayed at a better hotel for a better price.

« Very convenient, clean hotel, good breakfast »

We (family of 4) stayed in this hotel in January 2018. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful answering questions about Seattle. Breakfast was good and we filled up ready for each day's sightseeing. It is only about 10-15 minutes' easy, level walk to downtown (around the Amazon HQ) and about another 5 minutes to Pike's Place markets. The Space Needle, the Chihuly Garden, the MoPOP museum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation are all within 5 minutes' walk, so this hotel is super convenient. There's also a Walgreens and a McD very close by ! The Needle seemed a bit tatty as it is undergoing renovation, so we didn't go up to the top. I was a bit disappointed with MoPOP as I expected it to be ALL about Pop MUSIC, but my kids explained that POP means lots of other types of art ! (Ya live and learn!). The B & M Gates Foundation is well worth a visit, where you can see the wonderful work they are doing for un(der) developed populations of the world. Anyone visiting Seattle cannot go wrong if they choose to stay at this hotel.

« A Few Tips About this Best Western »

We chose this hotel due to the proximity to the Space Needle. We also chose a room that had a view of the Space Needle which was three blocks away. When we walked into the room, the view, indeed, was spectacular. Well worth the money if you can swing it. The room was large, clean and met all our needs. The bed was extremely comfortable. Even though the tub and toilet is separate from the sink, the situation was doable. The bathroom area was actually separate from the main bedroom. We did not have the breakfast package to their in-house restaurant, Brella's. At the time of the visit, the $7.95 cost for a buffet breakfast is well worth the price. Given the opportunity, we would not hesitate in staying at this Best Western. It is well operated, the employees friendly and it has a superb location. If you found this review ?helpful? in any way, please press ?LIKE? to let me know.

    « Excellent location & hotel »

The hotel is a stones throw from the space needle but the area isn't noisy. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and informative, room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I tried a restaurant sandwich one evening and it was only ok but convenient. The breakfast was acceptable and inexpensive but would have loved some bacon on it. Good hotel, great caring staff in great location, that's good enough!

    4
    « Convenient location »

We enjoyed a concert at Key Arena, then rather than a long drive home we took a short walk to this hotel. Good rates, nice and convenient to the Seattle Center. Not fancy, but well maintained, and helpful staff. Secure parking, decent breakfast available in the morning.

« Great location. Excellent staff »

Was in Seattle for business and needed to be close to the CBD. Being a Best Western Rewards member I checked their site first and chose this hotel. Was the first time I'd stayed there and was very pleased with my choice. Check in went smoothly and the room was very clean and well provisioned. The WiFi was very fast too. I had difficulty getting my TV working, so called down to the front desk. Within minutes a tech was knocking at my door and fixed the problem on the spot in a very short time. The house keeping staff was great too. They were so nice, courteous and professional. I didn't get the gentlman's name who cleaned our room every day, but he did a fantastic job. Breakfast is included as well and it's very good. Over all the staff of this property is very well trained, very helpful, and truly have pride in their ownership. Looking forward to my next visit.

    « Wonderful Location »

The location of this hotel could not have been better and our room had an amazing view of the Space Needle. The parking was secure and the wifi strong, so right off the bat I was pretty pleased with the hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable and I swear it was the one shown in the photo on this listing. My only critique was that the food available in the hotel was of very poor quality. The food in the bar was completely industrial and by in large was merely reheated from frozen packets. The breakfast offerings were not much better and horror of horrors the butter was some kind of whipped stuff that didn't melt! I recommend the hotel, but look for your food elsewhere. The staff was generally pleasant with one surly exception, but it could have just been a bad day for him.

    5
    « Space Needle »

Absolutely a perfect location!!! Very friendly Staff from front desk to house keeping & kitchen!!! The lobby was very beautiful with a nice library and view!!! The room was very clean with the most beautiful view!!!

    « Seen better days »

Give this one a miss, it has seen better days and is long, long past when it should have been updated. Grotty and worn out. Towels were frayed, bath mat had burn marks on it. Wallpaper tears. A/C/ heat unit continually clicked like a clock even when off, all night long. The light in the sink area (the shower and toilet were in a room of their own and the sink was in the hallway) didn't work so it was very dark. Just a sad hotel and with other options close by I don't know why you would choose this one. Had to stay here because the coach picked it for our team's sporting event. On the positive side it was inexpensive as was the breakfast and you located right beside the space needle.

« Quiet spot in downtown Seattle »

I've stayed all over downtown Seattle and have now finally found the 'quiet spot'. The rooms very spotless, the breakfast buffet was fantastic (!) and we even had a morning newspaper at our door upon waking. Beds were SUPER comfy! Excellent price for downtown Seattle. AND if you have a higher category of BW Rewards Points membership you can have your both breakfast provided for free (I was a Diamond Select) and parking as an added perk. All in all very impressed - I WILL be back!

    « wonderful stay......amazing beds! »

Very clean, room was very large, beds are sooo comfy, nice and well kept complete with an amazing view. The restaurant was empty... food wasnt bad just average. Water view is a extra $10. Parking is also $15 extra but thats fair for here. Front deskk clerk was a man named kyle and he was very friendly and informative. Will definitely return again.

« The hotel is alright but with good location and great staff »

The location for this hotel is very convenient for those visiting the space needle, museums and downtown pikes market. The space needle is just under 5 minutes walking and from there you can take a round trip ride to downtown on the monorail for only$5. Its actually walkable to if you can spare 30-40 mins to enjoy the streets and buildings. The hotel is also just across from a walgreens to get any snacks or things you may need. There's a couple bars and restaurants in the vicinity, one of my favorite was The 5 points Cafe/bar, which is open 24hrs a day with all day food and good STRONG drinks. Its located 5 mins away. The hotel looks very well maintained and clean with very good views of the space needle and large room sizes. The beds are nice and comfortable and really enjoyed the robes and slippers provided in the room. Walls are a little thin and can hear other people in adjoining rooms. The internet is very good quality and was able to stream videos and shows on my Roku with no problems. The staff there was great at checkin and check out as well as the restaurant.I thought the breakfast was standard but nothing really stood out and looks like a simple breakfast you would get for free at other Best Westerns. I think i would have been more disappointed if i had not gotten the vouchers given to members and had to pay for it. It would be nice to have a bowl of fresh cut fruit, a small container with some guacamole to put on the eggs and potatoes, or a leafy salad.

« Great location and reasonable price with views of Space Needle »

I had stayed at the Best Western Executive Inn for a night and selected this hotel because of the location and price. This was my first time staying at this hotel. The price was lower than hotels in the middle of downtown closer to the Pike Place Market, but only a few minutes away on the monorail. The price and time of riding the monorail for more space in the room and lower price was definitely worth it. Hotel is located about 2 blocks from the monorail station, base of Space Needle and Key Arena with various stores and restaurants nearby. The check-in process was very fast, and all of the staff was friendly and professional. I was upgraded to a larger room on the 4th floor. The building is a little older, but didn't bother me as everything was clean. Our room faced the Space Needle and was very spacious. We had a king size bed and it was very convenient for the sink area to be separate from the toilet/bath tub. Breakfast was part of the room price and was served in the restaurant inside the hotel. Breakfast was better quality than many other Best Western hotels. The Wifi was good, and I had no issues with the internet. If I need to stay in the area again, this is a hotel I will definitely consider. It is $2.50 each way on the monorail to the Westlake Light Rail station or you can walk and it is about 15 minutes. Each way between the airport and hotel is an hour but only $5.50.

    3
    « Okay, not spectacular. »

We stayed here for a night. The checked in but was not given our buffet tickets for breakfast, we had to ask for it later that evening. Room size was okay. It says it's a non smoking hotel but someone smoked weed. The smoke got in our room. As far as breakfast, we could have gone elsewhere. The lady that sat us down was rude. She was slamming plates and glasses for no reason. She didn't sit us down until after 15mins considering there were 4 open tables. Breakfast buffet is mediocre. You can get those food at a different beat western for free. Weird they had to charge extra. Anyways, it's a Best Western Hotel so what do you expect.

    « Good Economical Hotel »

Friendly staff, bar and restaurant and meeting rooms, Good Internet. Close to space needle and restaurants. Meeting rooms are good for 100 or so people. Convenient location. Good rooms. Recommend this hotel for downtown Seattle accommodations. Breakfast Buffet was good. Bar good use a facelift.

« Great price location view »

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Best Western Executive Inn in Downtown Seattle. Everything from their customer service to amenities made my stay at the Best Western Executive Inn worth their ?mid-range? price. Before the trip even started, I noticed that the check in time for rooms was multiple hours after my flight got into Seattle. I immediately called the front desk, and although they couldn't confirm my room would be ready when I arrived, they did say they would be able keep my stuff in a locked room until it was ready. This eased my stressed and allowed me to make the most of my day. The location of this hotel is very accessible, especially if you are going to be without a car in the city. Upon my flight's arrival I took the light rail and then the monorail to get to the Seattle Center. From there it was a quick 5 minute walk to get to the hotel. About 45-60 minutes depending on the time of day. When I finally reached the hotel, my group was greeted by those at the front desk with a smiling face. As we checked in we were asked about our trip and if we needed any suggestions for local places to eat or activities to do. As our trip went on we continuously had great suggestions from the front desk on places to eat and places to see. Another great perk of this hotel is the amazing view of the Space Needle. Most of the rooms have a great view, and since it was the off season, we were able to get a room on the second floor with a fantastic view. The Best Western's quality of room is definitely matched to the price; not cheap, but doesn't break the bank. Very clean, and it had all the basic amenities, including room service from the restaurant attached to the hotel. Although check out was multiple hours before my flight left, I was able to check my bag into the locked room and come back for it once I was leaving to catch my flight. When we came back they even had warm, freshly baked cookies out! Really put the whole experience over the top. Overall, the hotel was a great choice for my vacation. The staff definitely made the stay above and beyond my expectations.

« what happened to my fav hotel? »

greetings. I have stayed here for many years, many nights. Please BW Corp. Will you see new life, new faces is brought into this BW location. It is my favorite Seattle location. But the hotel was dirty, and neglected in appearance. The staff, distracted amongst themselves. And, the restaurant isn't open, but just for limited hours. Though signs posted throughout say one thing. The Brella is not available for food till 5-10p. And that's only, IF, the staff shows up for work. Soooo disappointed in this recent six night stay. « Great value, great property... »

From the front desk and restaurant staff to the housekeepers - everyone is exceptionally friendly, efficient, professional and knowledgeable. Everything is immaculate and in excellent working order. We enjoyed the breakfast and the evening lounge offerings. It's not a "fancy" hotel, but is very pleasant, convenient place to stay. We'll come again whenever we're in the SeaTac area.

« Good Location for Walking to Pike's Market and Belltown »

This Hotel is pretty old and a bit rough. There was a note on the Room door saying they are not responsible for anything stolen from the room. Really? So I shouldn't expect any of my stuff to be safe if I lock my room door? Because of that, I opted to NOT have room service and I just made my own bed and got extra towels when I needed them. So it is not in a good neighbourhood, but it is a good location for walking to Pike's Market and Belltown. I specifically requested a room with a view of the Space Needle and I got a view of the Dumpsters. The shower would not drain. The showers have dispensers that are very difficult to dispense any product out of, but if you can manage to get anything out, it is good stuff. The bed, pillows and towels were clean and comfy and that was important because I wasn't there to sit in the Hotel anyway, so for sleeping and getting ready for the day, it was just fine. We really enjoyed vibrant and beautiful Seattle and we have great memories of this City, so where you stay is not as important as making the best of your visit. There is so much to enjoy in Seattle, so we focused on that and were not disappointed.

    « Christmas in Seattle »

Traveling to Seattle for Christmas this year we had a great motel in downtown Seattle and after 4 days finally learned our way back and forth to family's house. The staff at this motel were super - went out of their way to accommodate and didn't seem to mind at all. Happy to have us visit them!!!!! Yes we would use this Best Western again if we needed to.

    5
    « Great Stay »

The location of this hotel was fantastic. Just a short walk to the Space Needle and the monorail that runs to downtown. The staff was wonderful. The facilities were beautifully decorated and extremely clean. We had a great stay.

« Best location for the space needle »

Great location to take in the sites around the space needle. There are a lot of activities in the immediate area. Restaurant was good and the breakfast was well worth the minimal cost. Safe on site parking. Good value!

« Nice clean rooms near space needle »

Hotel was well maintained, rooms were clean, staff was nice, location was great for the price (next to space needle attractions, 15 min walk to downtown). If you do park on the road, make sure they don't accidentally charge you for parking.

    « Exceeded Expectations »

Great location. Very professional desk staff. They offered to check us in early. Room was super clean and spacious. Comfy bed. Restaurant. Room service. Modern design touches. Decent view. Came back after sightseeing to yummy cookies in the lobby. Unbelievably how much better this Best Western is than the other Seattle Best Western (at Pioneer Plaza). The price here tonight was 1/3 the price of the other BW.

    « Room Change immediately »

Lindsey on the night shift was so nice getting me a new room right away because my neighbors were so noisy in my first room. Thanks for prompt service. Stayed here many times, great hotel for the price, and cheapest parking of all downtown Seattle hotels at $16 a night.

    « A pleasant experience »

This BW offers an exceptional view of the Space Needle. It is located within walking distance of the Space Needle, the Experience Music Project and the Gates Foundation, all wonderful vistas. Further, it is located within walking distance to the monorail that takes us downtown to visit the sights located there without taking a car or cab. The hotel itself is clean and nice, and the staff are well trained and caring.

    « Perfect location »

Completely satisfied with our stay here. The location was great for what we wanted to do. Easy walk to Chihuly Gardens, Seattle Center and Monorail. The room was large and comfortable. Our view was towards the Space Needle which was enjoyable.

    « Wonderful Time »

took my grand-daughter for a "Grandmama-Fix"--as my kids call it! It was a great time to cheer up a really stressed and depressed young woman......and cheered up myself, as well! There's SO much to do, in Seattle!! Never boring...this was my second trip by train up...very relaxing, and the perfect way to "decompress" from the weight of lifes' trials!

    « Love my Stay »

Loved the location, the cleanliness, the staff. My stay was for a few days of recovery after surgery. This made it easy. Housekeepers were very helpful and kind and gave me the space I needed to rest. Close enough to downtown so my sister could get out a bit and see the Christmas lights. I am recommending this Hotel Location to my family and friends.

I made reservations a month ahead of time. I reserved my room with a prepaid card. When I showed up with my son they refused to honor the card. They wouldn't take cash. Despite being a rewards member and a returning guest they refused to check us in.

« Incredible value for the price »

The price for value is excellent. The attitude of the staff is what puts this hotel "over the top". For being in the middle of the city, the room was surprisingly quiet. There is adequate parking. Maintenance of all areas is obviously a priority. If any fault could be given, it would be for the initial very compact parking at check-in.

    « lodging in Seattle »

We enjoy staying at the BW Executive Hotel when we go to vacation in Seattle. Staying by the Space Needle, Chihuly Art Museum, the EAMP and the monorail make it easy to get to downtown for shopping, and to Pike's Place Market. Their fresh cookies each night are wonderful, the staff is great and it is a rainy weekend the breakfast, dinner and bar come in handy on site!

« Very Good for the price »

I used this hotel on a business trip and thought it was really good for the price. Friendly staff. Restaurant is reasonably priced and the food is good. Very close to downtown Seattle and the Space Needle.

Great hotel right downtown centrally located to all attractions. Well within walking distance of great places to eat, shop and entertainment. Hotel is well maintained, always clean, great staff, great breakfast, good fitness center and quiet.

Awesome and extremely helpful staff and a nice reasonable place to stay. Great location close to downtown core and tourist activities, with unobstructed view of space needle and monorail on West facing units.

    « Nice Hotel »

Everything was good except there is no free breakfast included and I was told I would not be charged for parking by employee and they ended up charging me $19 for parking. Other than that it was a nice comfortable stay.

« Hotel has great hot breakfast »

The breakfast in the restaurant has one of the best I ever had in the hotel. Friendly staff at the check in desk were very friendly and helpful. They convince me to park in the hotel garage and it was a great advice . For $15 I got very good night sleep even when I saw a car hitting a couple parked cars outside my windows. I will be back to this hotel

Stayed here for a meeting that was held in this hotel. Everyone was helpful and the breakfast buffet was the bomb! Room was comfortable and loved the pillows. Good location for Seattle Center and sightseeing.

    « Great location! »

Hotel room is basic, but clean and good bed. Has hair dryer, iron, and frigobar in the room, and vending machine on hallway with snacks, water, coke, etc., Breakfast is also basic, but very good! Location is great, and best about this hotel. Near Space Needle, Chihuly Garden, MoPOP, Pacific Science Center, and Monorail. Location and cost benefit makes this hotel a great option for travel and business.

    3
    « An average hotel »

Reservation process was flawed and confusing; check-in clerk had wrong information and was mis-leading. Drain in sink was VERY slow (annoying). Wasn't offered coffee or water during breakfast buffet. Second room had awful blue stains in the bathtub and again the sink drain was very slow. Nice to have microwave and refrigerator in the room.

« Good Hotel, value for money »

Didn't use much except to sleep. Room was clean all decor was all good. Carpets in the room looked old and smelly. That was the only issue. Other than that good value for money. Worth considering. It is close to Space Needle.

    « Location not Luxury »

We stayed for three nights. Pluses: Very close to Space Needle and Museum of Pop Culture and other attractions. The monorail is very nearby so you can get to Pike Place market quickly with out having to drive. The staff is awesome, they are very helpful nice people. We were awoken at about 2;30 with clanging and banging of garbage truck working outside the window. The front desk responded to my clomplaint by moving us up to the 5th floor and other side of the building. Also there are some really good Thai restaurants in the area. Walk down Taylor or 5th N Ave to Tilikum Place (about 5-8 min walk). The Mantra Thai is on Denny Way and the Golden Singha Thai is on 5th Ave. Both are great but Golden Singha was a better value. Minuses: If you like your hotel to be in a nice neighbourhood - it isn't the nicest in the downtown area. We were concerned about leaving the car parked over night outside so we opted for the gated underground parking. This hotel needs updating - in and out in my opinion. More things to know: Either way parking is $15 per night. Also breakfast isn't free but it is exactly the kind of breakfast you would expect to be free at most Best Westerns. Cereals cold and hot, toast , bagels , pastries, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bacon, juices, fruit, milk, and make your own waffles. Pretty standard breakfast that is often included with your stay - nothing fancy. I think we paid $7 each plus tip.

« Great location Seattle Best Western »

No problems at this hotel. The rooms are not the best and the décor of the hotel is dated, but the location and quality of the staff make a good value. This is great for business trips, but not the best place if you're looking for a romantic getaway.

« Texans vs SeahawKs Game »

From outside it looks old from outside BUT I can say good customer service & beds were very comfy this was the view from our window. They have a restaurant which was good. It is walking distance to Space Needle, Museum of Pop Culture & other sights. I would stay there again. They do charge for parking which i did not like

« 1 night stay BW Seattle Downtown »

The location is great. A short walk to Space Needle, Chihuly Glass House and Museum and PopCulture Museum. The hotel needs to upgrade their towels and bathroom fixtures. The artwork in the hotel room no joke looks like female sex organs.Even my son picked up on it. But otherwise worth staying here. Warning: Parking does not accommodate light trucks very well. Seattle is a small vehicle city.

    3
« Friendly staff, small bathroom »

We were looking for a hotel in a specific area that would provide us access to multiple locations for a weekend trip. The young man at the front desk was extremely friendly and there all three days of our visit. The fireplace in the lobby was cozy and a nice place to relax on a rainy afternoon. The bathroom was nearly inaccessible. The toilet and shower were in a room separate from the sink. The door opened in and was approximately 5-6 inches from the toilet and did not open all the way, because of the curved shower rod. You had to straddle the toilet or stand on one leg and twist to get the door open or shut. Awkward. Not an ideal set-up for a bathroom. Most likely won't stay here again.

Great service, bed felt amazing, location and views from the hotel were fantastic. We'd definitely come back and stay with the Best Western in Seattle Washington. Thank you for making us feel like we never left home(California)

    « Staying again in 2 weeks »

My stay was very pleasant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Received free breakfast and parking with my rewards. The cost for me would have been a little much with the USD to CAD conversion, so I used points. It was only a 5 minute Uber ride from any of the destinations I had to go to. The room was quite noisy (outside noise), but fine with earplugs, and the bed had an amazingly comfortable pillowtop thing. I have another conference in 2 weeks and have booked myself in at the same place :)

« Worth staying for night or two »

Convenient location near Space Needle ( around 5 minute walk) Although rooms look dated but it's still okay. Friendly staff at check-in. Breakfast Buffet is not included in room price , costs 7.95 per head extra.

« Best Western Executive Inn Seattle WA »

Stayed here 2 nights for hospital procedure. I stayed one night and my husband stayed 2 nights. Great location and rate for hospital stay was very competitive with similar hotels in the area. Felt like we got the better value at the Best Western. Room was upgraded King, good value for this room. Plenty of room and separate vanity area from the shower/toilet. Bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. There was construction noise early in the morning and ambulances throughout the night, but this was downtown, and could be expected. Would highly recommend again. Check-in staff was polite, efficient and knowledgeable regarding the area.

    4
« Good place to stay in downtown Seattle »

Good location, good staff and fair price. Would stay here again. the staff was very nice about changing our original room selection to one that met our needs. The check-in guy was really nice Even though he was wearing a Dallas Cowboys shirt the day we left. Seriously, a good man to meet and help travelers.

    4
    « Affordable centralized location »

This was the most affordable hotel we found in downtown Seattle. It was a five minute walk to the Space Needle and half a mile to Pike Place. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for a simple, affordable hotel in walking distance of attractions. You'd have to be willing to walk a couple of miles unless you have a car and want to pay $15 to park your car there and deal with the hassle of paying for parking in downtown.

    4
« Best Location and Great Staff »

The staff was super helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself is located in a prime location and we didn't need a car. It's a walkers paradise! Food was reasonable for the price (breakfast) and the lobby is very cozy.

    5
    « great location »

    « Early morning flight »

Drove up to SeaTac with my step-daughter and the grandkids the night before for an early morning flight. This was a great place. Lots of amenities for the kids, foosball, pool, hot tub, etc. In addition to the free breakfast, they have a little café where you can order burgers, pizza and salads (for a fee). This was great as sometimes deliveries from the outside can take an extended period of time. And by having an in-house café, you don't have to leave the hotel. Only thing is they do not deliver to the rooms and you need to place the order in person. Overall a nice affordable hotel near the airport.

    5
« Seattle Best Western Experience »

We spent our first trip to Seattle here at the Best Western Executive Inn. It is minutes away from many of Seattle's attractions. It was a really comfortable and friendly hotel. I would recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Seattle.

    5
    « Nice hotel »

We had a great view of the city from our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful upon check in. Check out was fast, we left very early to crash our flight. Clean lobby and rooms. Hotel is close to so many fun things. Walk actors to the Seattle Center, Science Center, Space Needle. I will stay again for sure. Also, make sure to join Best Western rewards as you can earn so many "free" things, including free nights.

    « Seattle Vacation »

Excellent lodging, great location, excellent view of the Seattle Space Needle, restaurant very good and the staff was excellent. One block away from the monorail which took us to Pike's Market. Also one block away from tourist attractions in and around the Space Needle.

« If you like to look at the Space Needle this is your place! »

Great views of the Space Needle and walking distance too many great places to eat or have a beer or two. You can also get room service from the onsite restaurant I think until 10:00pm?very nice! I will defiantly stay here in the future. They also have secure underground parking.

    3
    « Disappointment in Seattle »

The location of this hotel is close to the Space Needle and Pike Street Market but I was disappointed by our experience there. First of all, there was no breakfast included with our room, secondly we had to pay $15.00 a day for parking (although I heard later that this is not unusual for Seattle). For the price we paid, I think we could have done just as well if not better somewhere else.I also thought the reservation was handled poorly, as we had to check in and check out each day because our son joined us for the second night and that involved a rate change.

    5
    « well located hotel »

I went on vacations with my sister and we stayed at Best Western. People at the front desk were really kind and helpful. The local was a walking distance from the Space Needle, the Duck drive, the Dale Museum, etc. The hotel was very clean and breakfast was affordable.

    5
    « Great location »

Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was the typical breakfast that was included with the room at other places but you had to pay extra for it. Perfect location and beautiful view of the Space needle.

    5
    « Would recommend! »

The reservation was easily made, and everything in order upon our arrival. The room was clean and appropriately supplied. At the time of check out we were still doing some "vacationing," and were allowed to leave the car in the secured garage, an additional 3 hours at no extra charge. It's a perfect location for the Space Needle and other surrounding activities.

« The mold monster of Seattle »

The hotel just needs a total refresh. It is not worth the $$$$. There are MANY other hotels in close proximity of the Needle. The morning buffet was disappointing for what was charged. McD's is only a block away, go there.

« Before and After ALASKA »

Executive Best Western in Seattle ABSOLUTELY took care of us before we boarded the ship for our ALASKAN CRUISE and for 2 days upon our return prior to flying home to Texas,Justin and Sunny made sure that every wish we requested was filled. The Hotel itself was IMMACULATE from the Lobby down the hallway to inside our room which was THE BOMB.....we had the most AMAZING VIEW of the Space Needle and the beds were sssooooo comfy,we slept like babies. For Seattle pricing (very expensive)the price was fine as it accomadated our discount which was nice. We have nothing but good to say about our stay in this Hotel,we will DEFINITELY BOOK THERE AGAIN,EVEN OUR SHUTTLE WAS THE BOMB...THANK YOU SUNNY,JUSTIN and SHALIM for being a part of our WONDERFUL AMAZING VACATION

    5
    « Great location »

This is a typical Best Western. It was clean, the people were nice. It was a great location because you could walk right to the needle and the whole Seattle Center. We were even able to walk to Pike's Market, a mile away. The view from our room was of the Space Needle. Perfect place for a mini Seattle vacation

    2
« They didn't cover all the mould when they remodelled »

It's nice when they renovate a hotel. But when the black mould is seeping through it's not healthy. Hate to see what the kitchen actually looked like. They charged us for breakfast before we sat down. Once we saw the size of the buffet for $20 we were stuck trying to fill our selves on the small selection. Way to pricey compared to the nicer places downtown.

    5
« Great location in Seattle »

The location of this Best Western cannot be beat! It's a block (maybe a block and a half) from Seattle Center, and we had a view of the Space Needle from our room. I was pleasantly surprised by the beds-- they were much more comfortable than I had anticipated. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative was the cost (it was darn expensive for a Best Western!), but you are paying for location, so I get it. Overall, a great stay.

    « Great location »

Perfect location for Seattle Center. It was very expensive because we stayed on a holiday weekend and during Bumbershoot so prices were higher. The convenience was so perfect for us to walk to the festival and very safe area to walk back late at night. Also, we got to park there and staff made it all super easy.

    4
« Stunning location easy walk to Seattle Center »

We were traveling with family and had two rooms. Nice, clean, very acceptable. Front desk was pleasant and helpful. Only one elevator was working and you had to share with the cleaning staff which made for some delays but these things do happen. The one thing that would be nice is for the hotel to disclose that there is a $15.00 parking fee. I didn't mind the fee and the price which allowed you to park until 4:00 pm the next day was worth the fee. I just prefer to be informed up front. Surprises are not my thing.

    5
    « Location, location, location »

Ideal location for touring the city. Most of the sights are within a 5 min walk, and others by jumping on the monorail. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the city and eager to help witg suggestions and directions. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping made us feel at home.

    « Good time a BW »

Me, my family and friends stayed at this hotel. Loved how clean and comfortable was our room, it had everything we need and plus a beautiful view at the Space needle. Friendly and helpful staff was one of my first impressions. Looking forward to check in again with this hotel!

    4
« Great view if you ask ahead... »

Great location a block from the Space Needle complex and glass sculpture garden... If you ask ahead in your booking, you MAY secure a room with a view of the space needle. The hotel offers most amenities and has a breakfast facility (price NOT included in your usual booking) that also serves throughout the day as well as room service. The cookies in the evening are a welcome treat... Staff nice and helpful!

    3
    « Spacious & Clean Rooms »

The hotel has spacious and clean rooms. The rooms have all the usual amenities including mini-fridge. We had a great view of the Space Needle and Museum of Pop Culture. The hotel is worn and needs an updating. One elevator was out the 3 days we were there. Staff were friendly and helpful. I asked for an extra pillow and it was there that night. They answered all our questions and called our cabs all with a smile. There is no complimentary breakfast, unlike other BW. You pay $7-8 for it but it is the same quality as the other free BW breakfast. We tried it once and decided to skip it the rest of our trip. If you want quick, inexpensive breakfast, go to the McDonalds around the corner. Or even better, walk 5 minutes to the 5 Point Cafe and have a great breakfast in a punker bar. The location is within a couple minutes walk of the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden & Glass, Pacific Science Center, etc. It is a short cab ride to the downtown, waterfront or Pike's Place Market. You could walk too but Seattle is a hilly city. Safe neighbourhood with a few options around for dining.

    5
    « Great location »

Great hotel! Friendly staff. Great location! Clean rooms. Great wifii connection. Restaurant had great food. Chef personally checked to see if our food was cooked to our liking. Overall great place and great price.

    « An Excellent Choice »

A very good hotel in a nice area of Seattle and close to the Space Needle. Able to walk outside at night with no difficulty. Not cheap by cab ride from the airport, but a nice quick ride to King Street Station for a train. An excellent choice on our part.

    5
« Great place to stay »

This hotel is a great place for the money. It is not as pricey as most near downtown Seattle but it is just as clean, well kept, decorated and maintained as the more expensive choices. It is right across the street from the Space Needle and the monorail which will take you downtown. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean in good repair and nicely decorated. I was impressed and would definitely stay again.

    4
    « Decent redo »

This hotel was obviously built for the Worlds Fair in the early 60's but it has held up well. Best Western has put a lot into updating and improving the efficiency of this facility. The staff is excellent but not particularly congenial. The rooms are comfortable and my wife was happy that the bathroom was well lit. We had a great view of the Space Needle. The location by Seattle Center is perfect and it is in walking distance to all of the new stuff in the South Lake Union area. There is safe and secure parking and a reasonably priced breakfast buffet. The price is a little steep but parking was only $15 so that kind of made up for it. You could stay here and be happy.

    « Best Western a Nice Surprise »

Stayed here last week. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly. However, the attached restaurant, Brella's, is not good. I did not know what rubber chicken meant, until I ate it for dinner. My friend's salmon was oddly seasoned. The breakfast buffet was adequate. We had one incident where knowing beforehand that it was happening would have been helpful. We received a phone call on the hotel room phone asking for personal information "because the computer went down" and they needed to update their files. When we said we would bring the credit card down to the front desk, the caller tried to get us to go along with this scam, but finally hung up. We reported it and the night manager, and the day manager the next day, said this has been happening around their part of town to other hotels as well. Being notified of that upon check-in would have been prudent. But I was pleasantly surprised by Best Western's modernity, cleanliness and friendly staff. I would consider in the future staying at a BW.

    5
    « Great Value »

The Best Western Executive Inn is in a good location to get around to all the sites. The breakfast was wonderful and prepared to perfection. The scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. It was nice to have a garage in the lower level.

« Convenient location, somewhat dated »

Stayed because we were primarily going to events in or around the Space Needle and had loyalty points to redeem for free nights Positives: Employees were extremely friendly and helpful, location is within walking distance to space needle and attractions, restaurant on site, easy to access from I 5, close to several amenities ( Walgreens, coffee shops, McDonald's ) Space needle views from room Negatives: hotel is old and rooms are quite dated, bedding was awful, pay for parking which is not odd for the city but unfortunate extra, clean enough but areas of the room were less than ie. stains on the couch, pamphlet left on the bed covered in sticky goo, pay for breakfast buffet Pricey for the quality Good for a 1 night quick stop

    4
    « Hey, that's a pretty good hotel. »

Overall: Pretty good hotel. Close to Space Needle and Monorail. Went to Seattle for an eight day stay, and found this hotel. It was rated around 4 stars, thought why not. Got a room with 2 queens for around $3k for the whole stay. Decent price and for the location it was totally worth it.

    4
« Great Place To Stay »

It's a great place and very close to the downtown and space needle. But the price was too high. If you are willing to travel in Seattle. You can spend a little more to stay in Hyatt or less in other similar hotels. Overall, it's a good place to stay if the price can be lower.

    2
    « Run down »

Hotel was run down, appeared dirty. Location was fine for space needle. However I would stay near the market next time as it is centrally located. You only go to the space needle once.. not much if anything to eat down at the space needle

    5
« Space needle and more »

Excellent location for the Seattle Space Needle, Chihuly Garden & Glass (amazing), Gates foundation, Museum of Pop Culture. Easy walk to Skyway monorail into downtown and Pike Place Market. Seattle CityPASS is excellent from this location. Comfortable beds and plenty of space in rooms, many rooms overlook the space needle, interior doors, safe,

    2
« If you're looking for luxury don't go here. »

The staff were very courteous. However- Not only do you pay over $300 for one night, but the rooms are not updated AT ALL, the bathrooms were dingy and dark. When you turned on the water it felt like the bath tub nozzle would fall off, and when you stood in the middle of the tub you felt like you could fall through to the room below! The beds were nice and the sheets were clean BUT you had to pay for your breakfast AND had to pay for parking.. This hotel charges this much and gets away with it because it's in downtown Seattle, I would've driven further out of the city to get a better quality hotel.

    4
« Clean and close to Key Arena »

If you have an event near Key Arena, this would be the place to stay. Many museums close by, as well as the monorail to visit the ocean side/Pike Street. Staff are friendly and it is a clean hotel. The price of the room is expensive, but it is within the prices of all the other hotels in the area.

    3
« not worth the money »

paid $250 per night, and they didn't tell me they were going to charge my debit card when I checked in. I used my card to buy 2 bottles of water out of the vending machine, sense I didn't have any money left in my account it cost me $25 per transaction, so $54 for 2 bottles of water. When I said something to the front desk they said that is the way it works. it doesn't work that way with me.

    « Anniversary Hit »

Sent my parents to this hotel for their 24th wedding anniversary, they wanted to go explore Seattle for the evening. They said the hotel itself was only about 2 city blocks away from the hotel, They absolutely LOVED their room. Great views of the space needle from their balcony/window area, bathroom was gorgeous. Within walking distance of a few different tourist attractions such as the ferris wheel. They said staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and even let them check in slightly early since they had rooms available. They said they would definitely come stay again! Thank you Best Western staff in Seattle for helping my parents have a great Anniversary! Only complaint would be that there was popcorn left under the bed by another guest when they arrived.

    4
    « Comfortable and convenient »

This hotel was only two blocks away from Center with several tourist attractions. Walking distance with McDonalds on the way. Our room had a view of the Space Needle. Front desk personnel friendly & helpful and I ask a lot of questions. Appreciated adjoining room with family members. Very nice front lobby and beds in our room were very comfortable. Breakfast has a lot of options. Free parking would have been a nice amenity.

    5
« Great place to stay »

Super friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast like any other BW. Highly recommend this BW property. A 5 minute walk to Seattle Center. A short cab or uber ride to anywhere in the city. For the price of lodging in Seattle, this is your best value overall.

    2
    « Worst bathroom »

Toilet and tub area so incredibly small that you have to back in and straddle the toilet in order to close the door. The curved shower curtain rod didn't help because the door hit it. This was so ridiculous! I wonder what genius came up with this plan?

    4
    « Location! Location! Location! »

You just can't beat the location of this hotel. It's close to the Space Needle, EMP and the Seattle Center and within walking distance to the waterfront and the Market. It's safe, clean and a decent place to lay your head at night.

    3
    « Good location »

This property is close to Seattle Center which is what we needed. It is a nice average property so if you want fancy, this not where you want to stay. However, it was clean and the staff was very nice.

« Excellent place a near most activities »

It is confortable, clean and in a perfect place near most activities. Have a easy check-in and they attend our bags until it was time to check-in. A Big convenience. The only thing was that the rate do not include breakfast. But it was at nice price.

« Dated looking hotel but fine. Great location. »

Doesn't look great from outside in surrounding area and interior dated but was fine to stay in. Staff good and location excellent with Space Needle view from window. Rollaway beds not good though. Breakfast additional fee one of best in a city hotel.

  • 3
    « Adequate hotel »

We arrived to find our room was not what we had reserved and we were stuck in a small room next to the elevator with one bed. The sheets had sand or something similar to it on them. We were told our travel planner had made the mistake of not choosing a room with two beds when indeed, they had proof that such a room was reserved for the entire stay. The mistake was corrected the following day but our first night was uncomfortable with sheets that were not clean and a roll away cot.

    5
« Good value for the area »

This was a good value for us. It is a wonderful location, two blocks from the Seattle Center with lots of restaurants nearby. We had big, adjoining rooms with a full view of the space needle. The beds were comfortable, the staff friendly, the room clean, and a nice breakfast for $9 each. The only thing they don't have is a pool or hot tub, but we knew that going in. It's an older building, but nicely maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

« 2 night stay while visiting Seattle before our Alaskan Cruise »

The service at the hotel was great. The rooms were fine. The breakfast was outstanding each morning. They also had evening food available from 5:00 pm til 11:00 pm. The hotel is kind of out away from all restaurants and other types of services. The Rink light rail to Seattle was about a half mile uphill to the rail station. We used it one day, and it took us to and from Seattle for $6.00 round trip.

    « Seattle vacation »

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Executive Inn in Seattle the week of July 2-8, 2017. From our check in to our check out we were treated with respect from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff. My husband enjoyed the breakfast every morning(I have food sensitivities) and said that even the restaurant employees were very nice. Everyone was very professional, friendly and helpful during our stay. One day we forgot to remove our Do not disturb sign from our hotel room door. Upon returning that night we noticed our mistake so our room wasn't cleaned. I called down to the front desk, explained what happened and immediately someone was up on our floor getting clean towels for us. Everyday we were greeted with Good Morning or Good Evening from the staff. The rooms were nice, clean and very quiet. We liked that it was close to most of the sight seeing places(Space Needle, Museums, Monorail(took you to the mall and then we walked to Pike Place Market and the waterfront) . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will be staying here when we visit Seattle again. Karen and Ricardo Jaime

« Most we have ever spent on a hotel room »

We have stayed in NYC, Hawaii, and points inbetween and could always find a good price at a good hotel. $260 a night was the best we could get! Not worth it! It was no more than a clean bed and shower!

    « Seattle 2017 »

The hotel was within walking distance to many attractions and monorail . Very accommodating to the guests needs . This is the best hotel for groups and single families also. Reasonably priced accommodations that have well maintained room cleanliness. The beds were very comfortable and all the amenities of five hotels.

« Great stay, good price for downtown Seattle »

Quick trip to Seattle for a Mariners game. Easy access to public transportation to and from the stadium. Very comfortable beds and room was very quiet, no outside noises. Felt safe walking from tram to hotel at 11 pm at night. Friendly staff.

    « Location, location, location »

While not a true 5 Star Hotel we had a great visit here. The front staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Although we did not spend much time in the hotel, the breakfast was wonderful, the bedding very comfortable and they had great showers in the bathroom. Our room had a great view of the Space Needle and the location could not have been better. We were able to walk to Gates Museum, the piers, the famous Pike Market, the MOPOD museum (formerly EMP) and the Under ground Seattle tour. There were plenty of restaurants in walking distance and also a Walgreens for wine and incidentals half block away. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel, comfortable accommodations, and great locations...I recommend.

« Well Located to The Seattle Center & Key Arena »

We stayed with our 14 year old grandson for the night. We had an event at Key Arena. The staff was over the top helpful and even checked us in early when we asked if they could hold our luggage for the day until check in at 4pm. The room was quiet and had a beautiful view of the Space Needle. We all thought the beds and pillows were very comfortable. We were 2 blocks from the Seattle Center and it was an easy walk. We were happy customers. Everyone we encountered that worked there from the front desk,, the restaurant and housekeeping were super friendly and helpful.

    « Very Good »

My decision to book this hotel came down to three factors: reviews, price and location. While still expensive, as is all of central Seattle, this was one of the lower priced ones that still had good reviews. We were not dissappointed :) Front desk staff were all excellent and efficient. Our room was a typical North American room with two queen beds. Clean, with everything working fine. Beds were very comfortable! We had a perfect view of the Space Needle from our room :) The breakfast buffet that you can buy has a good variety and worth the price. We had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant and our meals were both good and plentiful. The location was really, really great! We had taken the Victoria Clipper from Victoria, and it arrives at Pier 69. The cab ride to our hotel was approx $7. usd Two blocks away is the Space Needle, Chihuly Gardens and Museum of Pop Culture. (we did all three and enjoyed them all!) Also in that area are a few food stands and souvenir shops. Also the Monorail stops here. It was I believe $2.50 per ride, and it goes basically from the Space Needle straight to the shopping district downtown. As well, the Emerald City Hop on Hop off Trolley starts here. We did that as well, to just get a bit of a driving tour with the guide on board, and to stop at a couple of sites, like Pike Place. The area seemed clean and safe in the daytime, no problems :) Theres also a Mcdonalds a block from the hotel. I cant say if the hotel had any other interesting or useful amenities as we were only there for sleeping mostly. But for a good Seattle-priced hotel in a great location, I can definitely reccommend this hotel!

    « Highly disappointed »

I have gone with my Fiancé to Best Westerns before and have had great experiences, but this was by far the worst experience I've ever had and we will not be back. Overpriced, even charging for parking, elevator stuck from 2 to Lobby, bed skirt had a nasty questionable stain, toilet barely flushed, and just ruined what was supposed to be a really romantic weekend

« Very Nice Hotel Convenient Location »

My family stayed at the Best Western Hotel last night. We live across the water but wanted to experience some the Seattle attractions. We visited the EMP and had dinner at the Needle. A nice ferry ride over from the peninsula 2 days in the city and the ferry home. This hotel is very conveniently located a block away from the Seattle Center and EMP. We checked other hotels in the area and they were twice the price. The rooms are large and were very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable as well and a morning news paper hanging on the door. The in room refrigerator was nice and large for all the left overs to take home. The staff was friendly and made sure we had nice view rooms facing the needle and next to each other so we could have adjoining rooms with the kids right next door. The price was great. There was ample parking however it was $15 per night but that's probably the going rate for downtown. We were able to park at the hotel and walk to all the attractions. They even let us stay parked the second day so we could take in some more sights. I would definitely stay here again.

« Close to so many sites and public transportation! »

The hotel was a quiet place to stay despite being close to the downtown area (Space Needle, Museums, etc) The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. It is a "go-to" location anytime you have an event near the downtown area.

    « Quick trip »

We had dinner reservations at Sarafina's (delicious, BTW) and decided to make it a fun weekend in Seattle. The outside of the building is a bit under-whelming but the inside was great. The staff is very friendly, the room comfortable and the breakfast (you have to pay a small charge for the buffet) was good. And it's right across the street from the Seattle Center. Great location.

    4
    « Great Hotel »

The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to make my husband and I feel comfortable and welcome in both the hotel and Seattle. The decor both inside and outside could use a face lift, but the bed was comfortable and I slept well in it. In the shower, the water came out cold at first and it took a while to come out hot, but it was okay. We loved having a fridge so that we could store our food that we purchased while in the city and food that we brought for our plane trips from home.

    4
    « very comfortable beds »

some of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in, the staff was mostly nice, the breakfast a step above okay; we would stay here again. It was in easy walking distance to Pikes Place Market and a Walgrens drug store.

« A decent business hotel close to downtown »

A decent hotel with simple but ample amenities, close to downtown for an easy 10 minute walk to most of the business district. a block or two from the space needle and MoPOP. I would recommend for any visitors to Seattle who aren't in search of top class facilities but want a comfortable bed and excellent service

    « Disappointed »

Staying here as we speak. Nice enough for a mid grade hotel and staff very nice. However... After the first night we did not leave the room until 12:30. No housekeeping service received that day. Did not complain. Just chalked it up to a one off and no big deal. Here we are on our second day. Left the room at 10:00 to go sightseeing. Got back around 1:00. Room still not served, but house keepers working on room across the hall. Figured we were next so went to the lobby to read and wait. It's now 2:30 and room still not clean and house keeping nowhere to be found. Front desk called the house keeping supervisor and requested the make up our room. Hopefully it will be done soon!!

    « Convention Hotel »

I attended a convention at the hotel and it was well attended. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We had buffets for all our meals and that was great. We were close to bus lines and went to Benaroya Hall for the Seattle Symphony on Thursday night. The prices are reasonable and the rooms are nice, especially on the Space Needle side.

    « Great hotel,easy walk to attractions »

Nice hotel, easy walk to the space needle area. Not far from cruise ports, and hotel had a shuttle option for cruise. Beds are nice, and nice linens. Has a luggage storage area as well great service. Value was average for area, but still a easy walk area compared to the other options that were a little higher.

    « Value Lodging »

My wife and I stayed here prior to a cruise, we arrived mid-morning and were fortunate to check in early with the help a very pleasant front desk staff. They were very professional and courteous. The property is ideally located two blocks away from the Space Needle, Museums and Monorail. Great for getting downtown to Pioneer Square and the Pike Market. The room was spacious and very clean and the neighborhood is very quiet, a plus for a good nights sleep. The breakfast buffet is very good for a nominal charge, well worth it. Kudos to the staff!

    4
« Walk to the space needle »

Excellent location to space needle but not super close to other attraction in the city. The rooms are spacious but just ok. The make cookies in the afternoon in the lobby and you can have it for free.

    3
« Average, but good location »

This hotel is right near the Space Needle and within walking distance to great restaurants and shops makes up for this average hotel. And the cost is about inline with the value. The restaurant charges $10 for the breakfast buffet, which was unusual for Best Western, and the food was certainly no different from what I get for free at other Best Westerns.

« Nice hotel very close to the Seattle Center and downtown. »

Staying at the Best Western Executive Inn recently in downtown Seattle allowed me to walk to my destination each day and also allowed me easy access to Seattle Center and activities there. I was also a very short distance (monorail ride) from activities like Pike Place Market and Pike Place brewing. My room was comfortable and very clean. Wireless internet worked fine for email and checking the news/weather.

    « Great Find »

We arrived early after leaving our cruise. Though we were only staying one night we were treated as if we were permanent guests. Our room wasn't ready but they checked our suitcases so we could go out touring. There were apples at the counter so we had a quick snack. When we returned our room was ready, we got our bags and were so happy when we received an upgrade that gave us a clear view of the space needle. The beds were comfortable. The next morning we elected to do their breakfast, reasonable for a buffet at $8. We checked out and again they held our suitcases so we could tour until that night when we headed for the airport. The location is terrific for all the sights near the needle and walkable, if you are walkers, to Pikes Market area.

We lived the convié ce and location of this property. Also, I have to say that the welcoming and helpful attitude of the front desk immediately eased our level of stress when we first arrived. This was so much appreciated!

« Close to all major attractions in Seattle »

The Best Western is in a great location if you are visiting the attractions in downtown Seattle. Just a few short blocks to the Space Needle. The hotel has a small parking lot and an underground garage. They have apples on the front desk, and they were delicious! Very friendly staff. Clean, pleasant room.

« Second to none service »

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Check in was quick and easy, all staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and well maintained. By surprise we had a view of Space Needle, EMP museum and the monorail. Room was quiet and bed comfortable.

    4
    « Good Stay »

We were a group of four and the hotel was nice. Have to pay about 15 per night for covered parking which adds to the stay. No complimentary breakfast, but have a diner available for meals. The beds were comfortable and the showers were clean. No complaints. A short walk to the space needle and City center.

    3
« No sound barrier between adjoining rooms »

Although well appointed, conveniently located a block from the space needle, and clean I would not recommend this hotel unless you make arrangements on your own to block noises inside your room. Adjoining rooms have flimsy doors between them with a 1 inch air gap at the bottom. I heard everything said by the strangers booked in the room adjoining mine. It was as if they were standing next to my bed. No privacy at all.

    4
    « Wak-up call »

The staff needs to double check this request being completed in a timely manner. This could cause a lot of stress for travelers that stay in your hotel. I was very pleased with our stay until this happened.

    1
« Two night stay at BW Plus Executive Inn »

Incredibly overpriced, I would never stay there again. Almost cost me $700 Canadian money, for two nights and does not include breakfast, it will cost you $7.95 US plus tax. I didn't bother. Wifi was included and a newspaper! I would definitely check hotel.com or booking.com next time never my travel agent at Flight Centre who have lost my business for ever.

    4
    « Best deal downtown »

With prices through the roof in downtown Seattle we came across this property. It was responsibility priced and seemed to be in a good location. The rooms could use a makeover but the bed was comfortable and room quite. We were located across from the elevator but that did not bother us. We went to the lobby bar for happy hour and it was packed. The one bartender could not handle the volume. Location was walking distance to just about everything and the front desk staff was friendly. Parking was just 15.00 per day. We would stay here again

    4
« Close to Space Needle »

Within easy walking distance of the Space Needle, Glass Museum, Pacific Science Center, etc. Comfortable and popular hotel. The bar/lounge has a great hamburger and happy hour. Enclosed parking available.

    4
    « Nice, simple stay »

Easy check-in, Check-out. The staff were very friendly and got my 4-year old daughter a bandaid when she fell while running through the lobby. They even got us an inexpensive town car when we didn't want to pay to park downtown. The only con, was the poor water pressure in the shower, as all hotels seem to have. Overall pleasant stay, would stay again.

« Overpriced and noisy garbage trucks at early hours »

Stayed in room 305 for two nights. Would give 2.5 stars if possible. The lobby assured us the room would be quiet--but in reality, it faced street with garbage dumpsters that had a 4:30AM pickup time. If you're sensitive to noise, advise you make sure your room is NOT facing the dumpsters. While the room was clean, amenities were pretty basic and the facilities a bit dated. For the rate ($180/night), this seemed overpriced. We've stayed in nicer hotels in the same area that had more modern furnishings for less. Would not likely stay again.

    4
    « Nice Hotel »

This hotel is clean and comfortable. The bed was great. The breakfast buffet that you normally free get at Best Westerns was $7.95. There was nothing added that was special. There was a problem with the hot water coming out of the sink faucet. The shower was fine. The hotel is very central to Chihuly and Space Needle, just a short walk. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

    4
« Quick Trip to Seattle »

The room, the personnel, and the location were all excellent. The only down side was the restaurant, it could be a little more upscale considering the fact that the hotel somewhat caters to business people. It is not the type of restaurant that I would want to bring a business associate but it is fine as a cafe. There are plenty of nicer restaurants in the area. On the whole, the hotel was clean, available, and well-situated.

    4
« Good Value for Location »

The counter/lobby staff was very friendly and helpful. The lounge left a little to be desired in both atmosphere and bartender service. The location is awesome for the Space Needle and a great price/value for the location along with the underground parking that was a little high but not unexpected for the area.

    5
« Chili peppers concert visit »

Excellent customer service thanks to Lionel and Cat. They were very knowledgeable about the area, had great recommendations, and very professional. Although Lionel is a huge Cowboys fan, something we will over look because of his outgoing personality, he made our stay great. The bartender, Cheryl, was an absolute hoot. Will definitely stay there again.

    4
    « Great Location »

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. The rooms are nothing spectacular, but there sure isn't anything wrong with them. They have all the basic amenities you would want. We stayed in a king with a sofa. Since we were traveling with a toddler it would have been ideal to have a suite (so he can sleep in the other room) but that is just a small downside. Suites are not available at this location. We also got a nice bonus since my husband is a diamond level rewards member: breakfast vouchers and free parking. It is right next to the Seattle Center. There is so much to see and do there! It is a short two block walk. Twice we hopped on the monorail there and went downtown to the Market and Waterfront. Many of the rooms have views of the Space Needle.

« Staffing Making the Difference »

I arrived from a very early cross country flight from NJ/NY. Tired and wanting to change, I asked the front desk staff if they could accommodate my requested early check-in. The two staff members when to obvious effort to try and coordinate things to make that possible. They helped make my morning by facilitating my request, and I was in my room hours early. The staff continued to go above and beyond by sharing their local knowledge of the area, and meet other miscellaneous needs like an umbrella in the face of impending rain. High marks for service.

    4
    « Good Customer Service »

It started well with booking the room and got even better throughout our stay. The one issue was the room service communication issue. There was a serious language barrier with ordering which was very frustrating and Justin helped us solve the issue by stepping in and ordering for us.

    5
« An Exceptional Value downtown »

Hotel is older but very clean, got a great view of the Space Needle. Location is excellent and the low price sort of unbelievable for the area. Walking distance to Pike Place, museums, and great food. I will definitely stay again!

    3
    « Decent »

You are paying for location here, right next to the spaceneedle and other attractions. Decent, clean rooms. Some downfalls are $15 a night for parking and they do not offer free breakfast. Be careful when you pay online that they don't double charge at check in!

  • 3
    « Neat and clean »

The hotel was great for a place to sleep. We were sight seeing so didn't need any entertainment at the hotel. We were disappointed that there was no pool or hot tub. The food at the restaurant was not good.

    5
« Wow the Wifi Speed!! »

My previous experiences are hotel Wifi's are very bad, but you can totally steam 1080p movies at this hotel without any hiccup! Location is another plus. The other aspects are fairly standard. They have gated underground parking.

    5
« Close to Space Needle and start of Seattle Marathon »

Chose to stay here because I was running in the Seattle half marathon. Very close to start/finish of race. Rooms are plain but clean. Beds comfortable and there s free wi-fi. Would also be a good place to stay for the Rock n Roll races in June.

    4
    « Great location! »

Or at least in proximity to a lot of attractions. Two blocks from the Space Needle and Montrail (which takes you right downtown and walking distance from Pikes Place). The hotel was nice. No free continental breakfast, which was disappointing. But you could pay for one. The elevators were really slow. Limited parking for larger vehicle's. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

    « November in Seattle »

« EVERYTHING YOU COULD ASK FOR AND MORE! »

I've stayed here several times and never been disappointed. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The hotel is so great you forget that you came to see the space needle. The gym is open 24 hours a day. You can't beat it. The breakfast is delicious. This Executive Inn is a must!

« Quick stop after late flight »

Great place for a large family. Stopped here after a long flight and had plenty of room in one of the king/queen suites. the furnishings in the room appeared a little outdated but were not an inconvenience. Breakfast had plenty of offering including an omelette station that was excellent.

« COMPLETE BUSINESS PACKAGE EXCEPT FOR INTERNET SERVICE!! »

I stayed here for 4 days with two associates during the PME show. This hotel has much to recommend it. It is centrally located, only a 5 minute walk from the Space Needle. It has large executive rooms with a full range of amenities and very clean. It has a full service restaurant and a excellent breakfast buffet included with the room. Matilda in the restaurant was excellent!! It has ample parking and friendly front desk staff. This would be an excellent property EXCEPT for the Internet. The signal was very erratic in the morning as well as evening, with crashes frequent. The other problem was the very frequent need to log in. Over the course of the evening, I would have to log in 4 or 5 times in the course of the evening. If I left my computer for even 10 minutes, it would make me log in again. That, in combination with the Internet service, was intensely annoying. When I mentioned this to the front desk, it was obvious that this was a frequent complaint. I would stay there again, but something HAS TO BE DONE regarding the Internet service. That is a must for a business hotel.

    3
    « Central location »

Central location, near space needle and walking distance to downtown. Efficient check in and friendly staff. Rooms is somewhat dated, , however rooms are good sized and included a small fridge. Rate includes breakfast and wifi.

    2
    « Best? Western »

Great location and some staff were very nice but extremely thin walls, high cost for breakfast, and non operational shampoo, etc. The only reasons I would stay there again would be for the location and quality of the bed.

« BEST WESTERN EXECUTIVE INN »

The Best Western Executive Inn is a five minute walk from the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden & Glass, Museum of Pop Culture and the Science Museum. It is a twenty minute walk into the centre of Seattle and a five minute walk to the University. It is set in a quiet district of Seattle and although there is a lot of building going on within Seattle you do not hear any noise. The Hotel has a lovely lounge area with a fire, as well as a gym and conference rooms. The rooms are a nice size and the bathrooms are well laid out with plenty of space, and a separate vanity area.

    4
    « Comfortable bed »

The beds are always comfortable. The room was clean and odor free. Heating and cooling was efficient and quiet. The staff were kind and helpful for my needs. The parking garage felt safe and was well lit.

« Awesome views of space needle »

We stayed here for 4 nights while waiting to catch our royal Caribbean cruise. This is a beautiful hotel. We found the staff were amazing, friendly, courteous and just overall great. We found it close to everything. There was a Walgreens drug store 1/2 block away from front of the hotel. And a short walk to the monorail. Which cost $2.50 on way or round trip $5. Can go an get off in city and walk to pike street markets. Was just amazing. If looking for supermarket there is one 2 blocks down from hotel. You just come out head for the mcdonalds then turn right you will see it down on right hand side of road. Overall very beautiful city-Seattle.

    « Great Location »

Just took a quick 1 night hop to Seattle and Stayed at this hotel. Perfect location. 1 block from the Space Needle and EMP Museum and the monorail to downtown. Could not have made a better location choice at all. Clean comfortable room, comfy beds, on site restaurant and helpful friendly front desk staff. I would choose this hotel again if planning to do things in this area of Seattle.

    5
    « Very helpful staff »

We only stayed a night before leaving on a cruise but the room was lovely and spacious.Very close to the space needle. The young men on the front desk were very helpful with giving directions. We couldn't get the tv to work, the gentleman that came to take a look (and got it working in mere seconds) was there very promptly. After arriving we found we didn't have enough luggage tags for our cruise and Lionel was kind enough to photocopy one for me. The only recommendation I would have is to put the sign telling guests that you have a shuttle to the cruise port in a more prominent location. I only saw it when Josh (I believe that was his name) was telling me where the CVS was. Overall we were left with a wonderful impression of Seattle and arrived at our cruise quite refreshed.

« Nice quiet hotel in a good location »

I really enjoyed staying here. We walked to the Space Needle and music museum, it was about a block and a half away. We had a room on the back side on the end, and it was very peaceful and quiet. The bed was really comfortable and everything was super clean. There was plenty of coffee and tea in the room. There was a free paper everyday. The price was really reasonable, $167.00 a night, plus $15.00 for parking in the gated secure parking garage. We had no complaints at all. I would definitely stay here again.

« room rates too high for basic hotel »

very noisy, walls paper thin, you can hear guests clearly when trying to sleep or watch tv. no complementary breakfast. wifi service terrible. there was remodeling going on during my stay which i wasn't told about at the time of reservation. work went on until after 930PM, hammering, dragging, dropping heavy furniture. « Seattle Best Western »

good location, older hotel in good condition, good indoor parking with elevator direct service, for the price the TV was too small. Cab service was fast. Comfortable lobby and waiting area. Overall good experience and would go back, although pricey in general that's normal for downtown Seattle. Convenient resturant.

    « Other Than Location »

Bed was too soft and pillows too hard. Bathroom was so tiny, we almost needed to step over the toilet just to get out of the shower. Decor and furnishings were old and needs updating. Location was the only good thing about this place, very close to Seattle Center.

« A great location and helpful staff »

We have stayed at this hotel many times. Although it is a business oriented hotel, one would be amiss to overlook it. It has a great location and we've always had a comfortable, quiet night's sleep. The Seattle Center is only a few blocks away... and the Monorail station too. The city center and great dining is just a short hop away by Monorail. We like the parking garage, gated and very secure.

Buffet breakfast has fresh fruit, soft tacos, fried rice, black beans, potatoes, sausage or bacon, eggs, fresh waffles, hot and cold cereal, toast and bagels, Danishes... and several drink selections. Restaurant staff checked to make sure I had topped up beverages. Staff very pleasant. Did not go for other meals. Front desk staff are very professional, friendly, and accommodating (they also make great hot cookies around 4 pm). It is about a mile from Pike's market, which is right downtown, within a block of the amphibious Duck bus/boat tour, space needle, EMP, and monorail to downtown (2.25 each).

« Older Hotel Near the Space Needle »

Average Best Western, needs some updating. Walking distance to the Space Needle and Lite-rail to downtown. Adjacent to a McDonald's. The staff however were superb, as nice and helpful as you would find in a hotel of a much higher caliber. Kudos to the Manager.

« Not very good for the price. »

If you needed a place just to sleep, this might be the place for you, but the restaurant was understaffed, the food wasn't really adequate. They were replacing their floor in the restaurant, so we had to eat in a separate small room. The glasses had pop and iced tea in them, not fresh, they were supposed to be clean on a newly set table. We were told that there were no good places to dine nearby, but when we walked two streets over, there were all sorts of places to eat near the Needle. There are plenty of other hotels in the area which had better accommodations for about the same price. It was not worth it. At least the night manager was pleasant.

    « Queen Anne's affordable option »

We were just a few minutes walk to the Scifi/rock and roll museum. The space needle was right there! Queen Anne is such a fun district. Be sure to try a restaurant called the Crow, just up the street.

« Great service and quality food at Buffet »

Over all I would recommend this hotel. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. The buffet was good and had a great selection. The price was very reasonable. The location of Hotel is in my opinion excellent.

    « Would recommend »

We stayed at this hotel after completing a coastal cruise. The rooms were nice and roomy. We had an issue with the reservations booked for 3 rooms but manager on duty-Jake took care of us. Thank you Jake for making our stay pleasant. Also, a thank you to Lionel.

    « Bed bugs! »

Though coming back four days from Seattle, we are still suffering from the itch by bed bug biting. I noticed my little daughter's leg was bitten, then the next day, I was bitten on the arms. No luck to find them on the bed when we got up. I would not choose this hotel if I know there is bed bug issue.

    « Business Trip »

The location of the hotel is the best attribute. Several nice bars and resturaunts located near by - easy highway access. Parking availalbe on street or in garage at a fair price. Breakfast buffet is great.

« Great Value Hotel in Great Location »

Great Location! Within walking distance of the Space Needle and Olympic park. Me and my friends were only visiting Seattle for one day so this hotel was perfect as close to tourist attractions plus great value for money. We had a comfortable stay and the room was clean. Its what you expect for a good value budget hotel. Staff was friendly.

    4
« Average Hotel, but Great View »

This hotel was on the average end. Our room came with a microwave and mini fridge and all other basic amenities. The room was in decent shape, nothing too special. Beds were really comfortable. The view from our window and location to the monorail/Seattle center increased my rating of this hotel to above average. I would not recommend eating breakfast at the hotel- it is over priced and not that great. Their supper menu is much better. My husband and I found much better breakfast options at Pikes Market. There are also numerous dining locations around the hotel. I believe the hotel has a shuttle, although it's not well publicized and we did not use it. The monorail and light rail are a cheap and easy way to get around the city and to and from the airport.

« Dirty Room with live cockroaches »

Title says it all After reporting the cockroaches and delivering one to the front desk, we were assured that the manager would be in contact with us the next day. It has now been 6 days and no contact from the manager.

« Great Location and more than comfortable »

We spent 3 nights at this hotel before boarding a cruise ship. The location is fantastic, and we were able to walk over to the Space Needle in just minutes. We were lucky that we were allocated a room on the fifth floor with a brilliant view of the Space Needle. Our room is clean and spacious and it is great to have the restaurant downstairs where breakfast is only $7.50 each and you can have as little or as much as you want Highly recommend this hotel. We would stay here again for sure.

    4
« Terrific View of the Space Needle »

Only a block from the Space Needle and with a wonderful view of it from our room. The parking is tight but it's a downtown hotel so you expect it. Walking distance from the Pike St Market and Ivars. So much to see and do with just a stroll down the street.

    4
« Great location, nice welcome... »

Although we arrived before the normal check-in time our room was ready, which allowed us to make the most of our day. Our room was at the back so that we did not get the view of the Space Needle but it was quiet. We've stayed here before and all was as we remember; perhaps the rooms are getting a little dated but we particularly appreciated the excellent service of our room provided by Liliana. A very good location, near to the Space Needle, with easy access to downtown via the monorail.

    3
« Good location, comfortable hotel »

Stayed 4 nights in Seattle with my family of 4, 2 teenagers. The hotel is a bit dated and needs a facelift, carpets are old and smell a bit, all looks a bit old and tired. The bathrooms are the same and needs changing. Windows have lots of condensation on them and are not air tight. But the beds and pillows are comfortable and we had a good night sleep, the staff is pleasant and helpful. We used the laundry facility which was excellent. Breakfast was good with good variety for a good price. Overall a good stay.

    4
    « Great Location! »

Older Best Western property with great location. Right across from the Space Needle!!. We walked to Safeco Field in 25 minutes which was great - no driving and parking hassle. Parking was great - either out front or underground.

    2
« Great location and front desk staff; disappointing otherwise. »

You cannot beat the location to the Space Needle, Museums, Monorail, etc. The front desk personnel were extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet could have been better with more variety. The hallway outside our room was dirty -- an empty wine glass sat on the floor outside the room across from us for three days. I had to point it out to a maid when I saw one. Our room was worn with an uneven floor.

    « Great hotel! »

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Executive Inn for Blue Jays games in Seattle. Everyone was very friendly, especially Jake and our room was very clean and well maintained. We mainly used Uber during our stay but the monorail station is a couple blocks away and even 10-15 minutes to walk downtown. The hotel has on-site restaurant that offers $8 breakfast buffet - has great selections and serves were very helpful. We definitely recommend this hotel :)

    5
    « Great Location »

I like reading and giving honest reviews so here goes. This isn't a five star hotel and may look a little run down on the outside but it is a great hotel. All of the staff that we came into contact with were very friendly. It looked like they had cookies out in the evening but they were all gone when we noticed, but it was a nice touch. The elevators felt old and sounded like you were going to get stuck when you were in them but they were fine. The room was clean and very quiet and we had a great nights sleep. The location is fantastic, within walking distance to the Space Needle and surrounding parks, restaurants and a Walgreen's Pharmacy. We would definitely stay here again.

    5
« Great Hotel Great Location Great Staff »

BW Executive Inn made our trip so enjoyable. The hotel is convenient to most of the tourist spots and within a short walk or monorail ride to the others. The staff is very friendly and good at their jobs. Comfortable beds and quiet rooms with a Space Needle view were much appreciated.

    4
    « Quiet and Convenient »

Very close to the Space Needle and other Seattle attractions. Easily accessible to walk, but I wouldn't after it's dark out. We didn't run into any problems at the hotel itself, but a couple blocks away was a little dicey. Free wi-fi was great, and the price was reasonable for the area we were staying in. Room was spacious and clean. The price to park was reasonable as well compared to other hotels in the area and the garage was only accessible by hotel patrons.

    4
    « Great night's sleep »

The hotel is just a block from the Space needle. The room accommodations were nice, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on. The restaurant was okay, decent selection, just that it wasn't always open. The dessert selections were HUGE. A raspberry sorbet came with 4 scoops and whipped cream in a large bowl!

    4
    « Seattle stay »

Great location. Clean, good sized room. View of Space Needle and EMP. Friendly staff. Convenient garage parking. A few blocks from most places, easy walking distance or monorail ride. Would stay again.

    4
« Nice Property, Great Staff »

The staff at this property is really great. We were paying with points so it worked well for an overnight stay before a cruise. If we had been paying the going rate, I would not have considered it a good value even for Seattle downtown, and there are parking fees in addition. The location is just 2 blocks from the space needle and Chihuly gardens so it is convenient if you want to walk to visit these. The breakfast buffet was good and (surprise) as a BW diamond member, it was included - I think it is about $8 otherwise and it would be worth it. The room was comfortable and I will consider returning here in the future.

    5
« For us it was the better of the two Best Westerns »

We had reservations at the other best western Pioneer square, but parking was in a lot a block and a half away. We had lots of stuff in our car because we were on a long trip and we didn't trust leaving the car in that neighborhood. this was within walking distance of the tower an the desk was very helpful

    5
« Great value and quality »

I have stayed in many Best Western Hotels and would rate this one at the top ! It is located just a few blocks from the Seattle Center- which is a great place to walk and has a number of attractions . My room had a view of the Space Needle! The hotel has a restaurant and serves a great breakfast. The staff were very courteous and accommodating. The hotel is a good value for location, comfort and amenities.

    4
« Nice hotel - right next to space needle & chihuly garden »

Hotel upgraded to a room with view of space needle. I did not find hotel noisy. Has good breakfast. Pike place market is walking distance or can take mono rail for $2.50 one way. $15 for overnight parking. Also checkout Zeeks Pizza just 2 block away.

    « Our Vacation »

This hotel is in walking distance of Space Needle and The Duck The Staff - Nick and Larenzo gave us excellent customer service and arrange our rides for us . Clean rooms and great breakfast . Enjoyed playing pool and enjoying a drink in the bar

    4
    « Nice location »

This hotel is located in the center of downtown Seattle. Close to the space needle and the monorail. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is the best bargain in town, good food cheap price. The bar has great drinks and large appetizers. I do think the rooms are overpriced but it's Seattle and it is downtown. The rooms are large and well appointed

    2
    « Over paid »

Staff was nice. good location, clean and nice facility but I believe I was OVER CHARGED and would not stay there again. I paid 298 (plus tax) for a Friday night stay with AAA discount! The room was odd, very narrow door to get in and out (next to the elevator) and the room was small. We had one queen size bed and a rollaway, there was not much room left to move around. They charged for breakfast, nothing special. For the same price other places in the area would offer more.

    4
    « Seattle Vacation »

Hotel staff was great. I had a King with sleeper sofa. We were on the 4th floor with a great for the Space Needle. Parking was in an inside garage and it was just $15/day plus tax. We looked around and some hotels charge as much as $50/day. Great location from the Space Needle and surrounding attractions. One night we walked to Zeek's pizza and another night we had room service. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Seattle.

    4
    « nice »

The staff was friendly but not to overwhelming. The restroom was a bit uncomfortable, the door was way too close to the toilet. The rest of the room was perfect. My two kids enjoy the stayed. This is the second time my family stay here and I look forwards to stay here next Year

    5
    « Great Staff »

The hotel is a bot aged, but the staff went out of their way to assist in unloading and storing our bags until check-in, then allowed an early check-in an hour later. They also arranged transportation to the cruise port the next day and recommended two good eateries in the area. Expensive, but so were all the others I checked in Seattle, so the best for the money I can say

    2
« Tired, drab and worst Best Western ever visited! »

We visited 8 hotels during out Pacific Coast tour and this was by far the worst!! The bedroom we had, had a fabulous view of the space needle! Room was clean but in need of refurbishment! Bathroom tiny! I was constantly hitting my head on the shower rail while attempting to shut the door to the bathroom. Staff were polite and helpful but never went the extra mile we came to expect from hotel staff in the US. Restaurant staff were similar, there to help if asked but never volunteered! Bar staff slow, soo slow!! The final 'nail in the coffin' was an early awakening on Saturday morning, 6.45am carpet fitters started fitting carpet in the room above us which went on for over an hour! Then maid service tried to gain entry at 9 while we were still in bed! No rest at this hotel!!??

    4
« Great location. Nice hotel. »

This property is very close to the Space Needle which is great. The prices for the rooms are also the most reasonable I could find in all of Seattle. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great place for a family.

    2
« Tired and Drab for $280 per night!! »

This hotel may be walking distance to the Seattle Center, but the price is still not worth it. The hotel is old and drab, it needs a serious update inside and out. Carpets are stained and 'wrinkled". Room was hot when we arrived and stuffy through the night time. They assigned us to a room right next to the elevator with the doorway partially blocked by a structural column creating a doorway just wide enough for our luggage bag to fit through! It felt very claustrophobic. On the plus side, the staff was friendly.

    5
    « Awesome hotel & location »

The hotel is all round awesome, that includes the staff, assistance by the concierge, buffet breakfast restaurant (& staff), computer room (free to use - useful for flight tickets printing), room large with safe & fridge, good size bathroom, free Wi-Fi. With easy walking to the city center and only a 5 minute walk to the space needle.

    « Worst experience ever »

I have traveled all over the world and this was absolutely terrible. Reserved 2 rooms over 2 months ago and yet they wanted to give us rooms 3 floors apart. Our daughter was with my husband and myself and even though she is 25, did not feel comfortable with her being by herself 3 floors away. They finally did give her a room across the hall after I told them I felt like it was a security issue and mentioned a review on Trip Advisor. But here is the "best" part. Absolutely unbelievable! Their key making machine was broken and they couldn't give us keys to our rooms! We would have to go up to our floor and use a phone in the hallway to call downstairs to have an employee come unlock our room. Would you want your daughter standing in the hallway of a hotel in a major city waiting for them to come unlock the room with you 3 floors away??? Besides, this was a family vacation. The reason we booked so far in advance was to have rooms together. Only booked this hotel was because it was close to the Space Needle. Don't make the same mistake! Glad we are going to have a nice evening at The Top of the World Restaurant. But when we get back, hopefully someone will be around to let us in our room....

    4
    « Overnight before cruise »

Excellent location. Easy walk to Space Needle Center and Monorail. We were here the night before leaving on an Alaskan cruise and the hotel is only about 20 minutes from the dock. Duckboat tour center was located just around the corner from the hotel and I would highly reccommend taking one.

    4
« Central location but pricey »

My wife and I needed a hotel at quite short notice in the middle of the tourist season. As Canadians, we had a bit of a challenge with the cost, given the exchange rate. I am a member of the Best Western rewards program (Gold Crown Club), so it made some sense to choose a BW hotel, it at all possible. As we booked only a week ahead of our travel, we could not find a flight+hotel combination with any of the airlines that fly into Seattle. We drove our own car and organized our travel accordingly. The hotel was tricky to find by car. It is on a small section of Taylor Ave that is not connected to the main avenue. It is a block away from the Space Needle, so if you're going to do the main tourist things in the center of Seattle, it's a great choice. The room was comfortable and clean - very big, actually - so we had no complaints about that. We spent very little time in the hotel itself, so did not have time to evaluate other amenities like the fitness facilities or the restaurant. Our overall impression is that it is a decent place to stay, as long as you understand that you are paying a significant premium for location.

    2
    « Pillow Theif »

The hotel was average - nothing particularly special or kind. I left my pillow in the room and called the hotel only 3 hours after I checked out. I was deferred to housekeeping voicemail where I left a description of the lost item, my name and phone number per hotel staff instruction. I never received a call back. I called again 3 days later only to be told that my pillow was not left in the room because if it were it would now be in the lost in found. Since it is not in the lost and found, I must not have left it in the room. I admit it was my terrible mistake to leave my comfortable feather pillow behind, but the way the staff handled the situation was less than accountable.

    « Waiting for ship »

Stayed for the night, great locator close to much of the night life about a mile to Pikes Market. Space Needle and shopping near by. Only 8 blocks to the harbor. The front desk people are great and very helpful. Breakfast was good and very nice verity. By the way if you are still looking around after your stay you can leave your car in parking until 4 PM on the day of checkout.

    3
    « Just ok »

The room wasn't very clean and the towels and sheets were dingy -- with some mild staining. The elevators weren't working well; some people were waited 20+ minutes for an elevator from the 10th floor. The view is great, but the neighborhood is sketchy, stinky, graffitti-covered. It's not a place that feels safe to walk to nearby restaurants at night. If it were $100 less a night, it would have felt like a better value based on the neighborhood and the cleanliness.

    3
« It has a great location to attractions »

We came to town for a major concert. It was close to everything we wanted to see. You do have to pay for parking $15 and breakfast was 7.95 each. Typical hotel breakfast bar. Staff was very friendly and rooms were clean. It is an older hotel but it served its purpose for our needs.

    4
« Great value, pleasantly surprised! »

This hotel is in an excellent location, only a block or two away from Seattle Center. We easily walked to all locations in the park. The room is spacious and comfortable. Maybe not super modern, but up to date enough. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The only problem I can name is that sounds carry. It did tend to be loud, but nothing major, just noticeable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for a stay in Seattle. It was comfortable, convenient and very affordable for downtown.

    5
    « excellent hotel »

We have stayed at this hotel several times & have always been happy. The staff are the best in the industry. Professional but fun to joke around with. Any minor problems are fixed immediately. They now even have bath robes in the rooms. Nice touch! We started staying here because of the location (2 blocks from the Space Needle & the Monorail) but it's the staff that keep us coming back! Couldn't be happier.

« PERFECT OVERNIGHT STAY BEFORE A CRUISE »

Very nice hotel for an overnight stay. Location is FANTASTIC and is within walking distance to everything Seattle has to offer. The space needle is literally a stone throw away. The rooms were well kept and spacious. The beds were comfy and the ac worked well. The hotel gym was awesome and can provide one with a decent workout. Although this hotel is somewhat outdated, the value is unbeatable. A facelift of the rooms is not required, but would be a good investment. Will stay here again if ever in the area.

    « Can't beat the view »

Checked-in for two nights with a view of the Space needle, the kids loved it. Room was large and comfortable didn't buy the breakfast just walked a couple of streets to pick up some french pastries instead. Room had a microwave to heat up some of our leftovers. But the location just a couple minutes to walk over to the space needle and a short monorail ride and walk to Pike's market and downtown. Traffic is nuts in Seattle this takes a lot of the driving out of touring

    4
    « Great location »

The staff here were very friendly & helpful with directions and recommendations. Location was great for walking to all attractions around town. Good sized rooms and nice beds. A pool would've been nice for the hot summer day.

    3
« Great location, very expensive for a Best Western hotel »

We flew into Seattle a day before our cruise and stayed at the Best Western Executive Inn. It was a great location since we could walk to the Space Needle and many restaurants. We asked at the front desk when we checked in about places to eat and were sent to one specific area down the street, in the opposite direction of the Space Needle, which is where we were headed. We ate and then made our way to the Space Needle. When we got to the area, there was a huge building loaded with places to eat but the guy at the front desk never mentioned that. We got back to the hotel and told him he might want to mention all those places at the Space Needle and he told us he didn't know about them. WHAT? How can you work at a hotel just a block or so away and not know about all those restaurants. Seems a little training is in order. The room was clean and functional, nothing special for paying $300/night. That's the most we've ever paid for a Best Western hotel and thought it was highly over priced.

    4
    « Walking distance to Space Needle/Monorail »

I've stayed twice at this hotel when visiting Seattle, and I would happily stay there again. It is less than two blocks from the Space Needle and Monorail. The beds are so comfortable, and the breakfast, although not free ($8 per person) is spectacular! Do not miss the potato wedges. The front desk staff is very customer oriented and will help with any special requests.

    3
    « Great Location - Needs Cleaning/Renovation »

A quick walk from the Space Needle and the EMP, the location cannot be beat. This hotel feels as if it was built in 1970 and very little has changed since. Some of the fixtures have been updated but there are so many remnants of the 70s, it's almost a museum. Being dated can be overlooked, being dirty cannot. The carpet in our room was so stained and dirty that we couldn't bear to walk barefoot in the room. See photos. There was also some substance smeared on the wall. No way it would be missed. I wiped it clean with a hand wipe. How could the housekeeper miss this? We booked here because we had gift card to use. I would easily pay more to stay at a cleaner, more updated hotel in the area.

    4
    « Visit to Seattle »

Very good hotel. Great location - short walk to the Space Needle. Good size rooms which were clean and up to date. Staff was polite and common areas including the restaurant were modern and comfortable. Prices were relatively high but not expensive by Seattle standards.

    4
« Basic Hotel, but Awesome Location »

This hotel is a basic hotel and the rooms and amenities aren't anything special, but the location and staff are great. We stayed a couple of nights at this Best Western and definitely enjoyed it. It is within walking distance of the Space Needle, Science Center, EMP Museum and the Monorail to Pike's Place. You really couldn't ask for a better location. For the room, it was basic and clean. It was a bit dated, but totally worked for us. We didn't do much in the rest of the hotel since there wasn't a pool or anything. The exercise room is small, but nice. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. We got there early and weren't able to check-in, but the guy at the front was really nice about it and they let me park my car in their garage so that I could go check stuff out while waiting to check-in. The hotel parking fee is kind of lame and I didn't like that, but the parking garage was nice and I was comfortable leaving my car in there. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely go back to it. Just don't expect anything fancy and you'll be good.

    3
    « Location, location, location. »

As the title suggests, you can't beat this hotel for being in the centre of it all. Walking distance to the great Seattle treasures like the Space Needle, Pacific Science Centre and the EMP Museum. It's a quick train ride, or pleasant walk to everything else you'd want or need. We didn't drive a day while in Seattle (a bonus in my books!) As other reviewers have mentioned, there is no pool and breakfast will cost you (as will parking), so come prepared. The hotel is showing its age a bit. New carpets would do the facility a world of good. The walls are quite thin (thanks neighbours for the 5 am wake up), but I think you have to weigh it all out. Great location, for an affordable rate in Seattle and it's worth your consideration.

    5
« Perfectly adequate, good location for seeing the sights »

Our family of 4 stayed one night on a recent visit to Seattle. The Executive Inn was perfectly fine. Not the most modern or luxurious place in town, but the beds were comfortable and staff were helpful. We had a major hassle with our reservation, but we really feel like that was Travelocity's fault, not the hotel's. In the end, Erick, the hotel manager, took care of the issue. We really appreciated that. Will not hesitate to stay here again.

    2
« Overpriced, costs extra to park, dirty »

I will start with the one pro: Conveniently located Now the cons: $15 + $3.32 tax to park at a place that you are a customer of. Should be included in the price, not sprung on you at the desk. And yes it is in the description but who reads that? Overpriced room with a one-night cost of $334.88 including taxes and fees (does not include parking) Dirty. Spilled pop (or other sticky substance) on the furniture with dust adhered to it. What looked like blood splatter on the wall. Vitamin or Tums and various other things under the bed. Refrigerator loose in the cabinet so you pull the door open and the whole fridge comes with it. This stuff would be expected in $60 room. But, for $287.96 + taxes and fees, we expected far better. If you want breakfast, it's an extra $7.95 at the restaurant.

« Great location and helpful staff »

Hotel itself is dated with average rooms and decors back in the 80's. However, we got a room facing the space needle which elevated the experience a little. Staff are very helpful and tried their best to accommodate our requests. However, I wished they could have been more flexible with their check in time. When I made the reservation, I specifically noted a mid-day arrival. When I arrived at the hotel around 1 p.m., was told that the room was not ready. I also work in the hospitality industry myself, considering their check out time, by 11 a.m., I was not impressed with the general efficiency at all. We had to literally drive around the city for about 3 hours.

    1
« Lied on the phone about reservation. »

Never again! I called the hotel directly prior to my reservation to change one of the dates and spoke with Justin. He said it was no problem and changed reservation #264718596 to checkout 7/4/2016, especially because the hotel was booked it was not an issue. After arriving and checking in, Niall and another tall female Front Desk person said something like "Oh Justin is new and he was wrong. Your reservation has a no cancellation policy." Changing the date is not cancelling. Also, if the hotel cannot guarantee the information given from their employees, why should I trust to use them ever again? Aren't hospitable and reputable businesses expected to stand behind their word? Our group reserved and stayed in 3 rooms and the hotel was booked to capacity. Because the Best Western Exec Inn in Lake Union Seattle chose to put their needs before the customer's, they've lost future travelers. My career is as a Consumer Excellence Quality Expert - the Best Western should not only stand by their word, but also apologize for the abruptness and lack of pleasantries. I was treated like a number - the entire interaction in person was transactional. In my business, this would be an automatic fail. There are too many other hotels that would honor their word. I was shocked by the callous attitude of front desk staff, especially the very tall front desk woman. They seemed robotic and uninformed. I will extend this complaint to the leadership team, as well. Uninformed employees giving inaccurate information should not be the burden of the customer. Shame on you!

« Can't Beat The View -- Hotel No Bad Either »

The hotel is very expensive but conveniently located if you want to visit the space needle and downtown Seattle. A very short walk to the space needle area. The room was clean and comfortable and the view of the space needle from the room was awesome.

    4
« In the heart of attractions »

Prior to a cruise we selected this hotel for it's closeness to the Space Needle. WE had a wonderful breakfast at Brella's, located in the hotel lobby. The food was excellent, the service attentive and the location convenient and attractive AND it was reasonable priced. Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared. The best part is we get to do it tomorrow again. The property could use an updating. That said, our room was very large and clean and the bed comfortable. Good choice.

We stayed here for 3 Nights in June. Hotel is not fancy in the slightest.. Definitely had an "old Seattle" feel to it.. But the staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. Our room had the BEST view of the space needle. Front and center! Room was pretty standard. Very clean and comfy. Roomy for sure. We fit 2 adults , 2 teenagers and a boatload of suitcases without issue. Really can't beat the location. Literally around the corner from Seattle Center/Space Needle. We walked there several times during our stay.. Convenient monorail at Seattle Center will get you within comfortable walking distance to Pike Place Market and waterfront.. Pretty secure underground parking. We would stay here again for sure! . It's not the Ritz... But it fits the budget. :)

    « Disapointed »

Images online are deceiving, hotel is old and musty. Very expensive, for the Motel 6 style of rooms. The location is great for access to the Space Needle and surrounding venues. I was expecting something nicer, for the money I was charged. I know it was peak travel season, but still disappointed.

    « Space needle »

Stayed here for some days last year. Very big rooms good night sleep. Great view on the space needle. Shuttle bus available if you want to go to town. Did not have dinner at the restaurant, but breakfast was good. If I go back to Seattle I absolute go here again.

« EXTRAORDINARY LOCATION and VIEW! »

I requested an upper floor with a view of the Space Needle. It could not have been better (#514)! We had a full view of the Needle and EMP day and night. We never shut our blinds because we enjoyed it so much! Even set up my tripod and took great shots right our of our window. We walked 2 blocks to Seattle Center every day. The fun Monorail is there to take you downtown for a small fee. McDonalds and Ride the Ducks tour was just 1 block away. Every one of the staff was friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make a great vacation. Bed and plentiful pillows were very comfy. We didn't hear much from rooms or hallway and nothing from outside except a siren once or twice. Everything was very clean (except the carpet wasn't perfect). This was NOT a fancy room. It is more what I would expect at a budge hotel-- but the location and view was worth the price.

« Hotel OK, View great »

The view of the Space Needle was terrific. We feel asleep to the glow of the Needle. We got there and thought we might grab a bite to eat at the bar. There were zero people in their bar and restaurant at 7 pm and the staff was watching TV, so we didn't bother. The hotel is older, but good for the night. We were only there for a short night so it worked for us. I can see where the location would be a plus for seeing the sights. We paid for breakfast buffet the next morning but it was the same as the free buffets you find at other BW hotels. A good stay.

    « A grim hotel with a good location »

This hotel location is its best asset. It is near the Space Needle and its attractions. A 20 minute walk takes you to downtown shopping or a one stop ride on the monorail. That said it is it only good point. It is a basic budget hotel in need of serious refurbishment. Large rooms but tiny bathrooms. The wifi may be free but it is slow or none existent. The wifi is abysmal if you are a business traveller it would completely disable you if you need an internet connection. You can tell the quality of a hotel when all you have is plastic cups for drinking 'glasses' we feel a glass to drink out of is not too much to ask for.

    « Excellent Staff »

A booking error by BW 800 number booked me in the day before I arrived. The hotel staff found me a room, honored the price, and took care of the whole process. Staff is excellent. Hotel is a little worn, but the location next to the Space Needle and Chiluly Glass museum can't be beat. I'd definitely stay here again.

    5
« Comfortable and Convenient Stay »

We stayed here from June 8-12 before leaving on an Alaskan cruise. The location was perfect, in walking distance of the Seattle Center and the monorail to downtown. Our room on the 4th floor was huge with a beautiful view of the Space Needle. Staff was more than accommodating, very kind and helpful. We would most definitely return.

    5
    « Pleasantly Surprised »

I read the reviews prior to arrival and was expecting the worst, instead, I got the best. They gave me a studio king suite that was a large room. It has definitely recently gone through renovations as my room smelled new. The room is huge with a separate seating area and mini kitchen with a sink, microwave and frig. It is quite and clean. They have complimentary water and a welcome bag with chips and chocolate. The front staff was very professional an nice. It has free wi-fi and a coffee maker. I read the reviews of mold and rude staff and none of that is true. I usually stay at the Double Tree, but this is just as nice, if not better due to the size of the room. They have pizza in the lobby for dinner and a complimentary breakfast starting at 5, which helps us early travelers.

    2
    « Disappointing Seattle Stay »

The hotel is a disappointment for a Best Western. Considering that the location is good I can understand the higher prices, but BW should invest in improvements. The staff was friendly but slow to respond. Finishing an internal discussion before acknowledging customers and never smiling.

    « needle stay »

great location near everything we wanted. walking distance to space needle area and transit. easy to get to and manage by car. room was clean and kept up. staff friendly. parking garage, $10 fee, kept car safe and secure.

    4
    « Location location »

Nice clean, comfortable rooms A little pricey because of proximity to downtown Seattle. Excellent pillows instead of the limp postage stamps provided by some other hotels. Excellent view of the space needle(2 blocks away) for no extra cost.

    4
« Great location, good value »

Hotels in Seattle are expensive but this one gives better value than most. It is located a few minutes walk from the Space Needle, EMP Music museum etc., 10 minutes or so from Belltown, and an enjoyable 30- 40 minutes walk from downtown Seattle. Relatively low cost parking ($15 / night) is a definite plus. Rooms are large, clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was with relatively small curtains and light coming in. I would definitely return.

    3
    « Just an "OK" »

This is a very average hotel, that is lacking in pizzazz, charm, or outgoing service staff. The carpets are worn, the outside of the building looks like it needs some attention and the hotel desk clerk was closer to sleep than service. The location was very good, if you're looking for a night close to all of the touristy action. Pike Place, Space Needle, great restaurants and a monorail are all within walking distance, but the desk clerk didn't seem to know much about any of it. Go figure.

    « June 1, 2016 Stay »

Overall, we had a good stay. It was very convenient to the concert venue and also nice to not have to fight traffic. The room was nice and clean, even with the minor need of repair. We would recommend this to friends and family.

    2
    « Disappointed »

We were celebrating our 44 year anniversary. The carpet was stained, holes had been patched, ripples in the carpet. The bathtub has a large stain. We requested a new room and it was much better except we did have a large spider web in the corner of the window with a dead spider in it. The guest next door turned their TV on @2:00 am and it was so loud we had to call the front desk to ask them to turn it down. For the cost of the room, I expected a bit more. Worst experience we have ever had at a Best Western.

« Steps from Seattle Center »

Stay here for 2 nights to play in the Seattle Center and it is only 5 minute walk to the Space Needle. My daughter was in town for Tampa and she wanted to see Seattle Center the glass show, EMP, plus the butterfly room. We then went to Pike Market to stroll around. This hotel is in a great location to romp around seattle.

    5
« Great location, no car needed »

This hotel is within blocks of the Space Needle and a wonderful waterfront park with walking path. The front desk provided good information on how to take public transportation from the airport and upon arrival provided sightseeing recommendations. The room was large and comfortable, the only complaint would be noisy guests next to us, the walls did not keep enough of our late night drinking neighbor's noise out, but luckily this only occurred one of the nights during our stay. There is a nice breakfast bar for a reasonable price downstairs and as well as a nice sitting area. We did not have a car during our stay, but did notice that the hotel does provide parking. Since Seattle is a very busy city we were happy to explore on foot and due to the proximity to the Space Needle our hotel was very central and easy to find.

    4
« Good room, good location next to Seattle Center. »

The room rate is good compared to other hotels in area. A bit hard to find with one-way streets and a block off main Denny Way street. We had a very nice room, but would've preferred one facing Space Needle like we had the year prior. You have to pay $15. more per day for parking. Parking on the street is metered so ? pay for parking and get a slip for your dashboard. We took Monorail to Westlake Center (downtown area) very convenient. The Center has a lot to do, shops, museums, food courts.

    5
    « Just perfect »

This hotel is very close To the Space Needle, the Seattle 's main atraction. Bedrooms very confortables, clean, And with enough Space. The breakfast is excelent, the price is good. The Staff is also perfect. I enjoyed very Much, I booked this hotel 2 times (2 times I was in Seattle).

    « WONDERFUL LOCATION ! »

front desk staff very knowledgeable and pleasant . anxious to please their customers. EVERYONE that I saw was treated with courtesy and an attitude of GREAT CARING to please. Business center spotlessly clean and well maintained, computers and printer. THE ONLY problem was THE RESTAURANT which was NOT UP TO EXPECTATIONS.. I had dinner there and started feeling CRAMPS as soon as I left the restaurant -- had urgent diarrhea almost immediately upon leaving the restaurant.GAVE THEM ONE MORE CHANCE --breakfast the nest morning --buffet was the only choice--sausages were GOOD,eggs were overcooked, waffles (make them yourself) were quite good, coffee was very weak and not tasty. THE room was very comfortable -- no complaints there -- JUST DON'T EAT IN THE RESTAURANT !! Front desk staff went above and beyond being HELPFUL and COURTEOUS..WOULD I STAY HERE AGAIN ??? YES --but I would NOT eat here !!

    2
    « NOISY! »

Had to pay for breakfast and it was not any better than the free breakfast that most places offer. Room location was poor. It was very noisy. We did not sleep well. Refrigerator was whining all night. They did fix it however, when I asked. Their service was good and the front desk staff was great. I feel they gave us a lesser location because it was booked through expedia.

« Best Western Seattle Space Needle »

The Best Western Executive Inn is 2 blocks from the Space Needle. Check-in was friendly and easy even though we arrived mid-morning. Our room on the 7th floor was very nice and the beds were comfortable. I used the computers in the business office and the front desk sent out a fax for me at no charge. This hotel does not offer free breakfast but does offer free coffee. The front desk arranged a ride for us to the AMTRAK station by limousine at the same cost as UBER. The rates were reasonable for a downtown hotel. I highly recommend this hotel

« Great Deal and Location for Soccer! »

We stayed at this hotel for one night and loved it! It's conveniently located a block from the Space Needle, EMP and Soccer stadium. The room was really nice -- clean and spacious -- and the service excellent. Plenty of underground parking. Breakfast was okay (nothing special), and the service in the restaurant was great. We'd stay there again, for sure.

    5
« Great view of the Space Needle »

Room with a view of the Space Needle was clean and as advertised. Check-in was a bit slower as a new clerk was training but didn't detract from the stay. Parking out front for Rewards Club members is a bit tight but a nice perk. Have stayed here before and lot has never been full.

« Wonderful service and the "must see" sites at your doorstep »

We stayed just one night but were wowed by the service. Eric the manager upgraded us to a 5th floor location with a Space Needle view since a large tour group was there on the lower floors. He was apologetic that we had to wait while he handled one of the tour guests who was quite persistent about knowing everything he could do right now and free. The room not only had a great view but the window opened just enough to poke your camera out to get a great shot of the Space Needle and EMP Center. We also received recommendations for sight seeing and travel requirements from Scott at the front desk. They were also very accommodating when we had to leave our car the rest of the day after we checked out as we had a late flight. The Brella's restaurant was excellent. My chicken Marsala was wonderful and my husband's hamburger choice was huge and delicious and our waiter was attentive and pleasant. The room was spotless and well appointed.

« Comfortable stay, great view »

We had a great view of the Seattle Space Needle from our room. Bed was very comfortable, everything was quite clean and tidy. Friendly staff, very walkable area, and within five minutes of Chihuly Gardens. Only minor issue was missing body wash in the bathroom so we had to use the hand soap from the sink, but everything else was perfect.

    5
    « Great location »

Two blocks from Seattle Center and major attractions. Breakfast was excellent and served in a dining room like atmosphere. All hotel staff were friendly, from the housekeepers, check-in employees, and management.

    4
    « For Attending Conference »

The hotel is a bit old, but still nice. The rate was high likely because of the conference, but acceptable considering it is relatively close to the convention center (about 1 mile). The extra $15/night parking fee is unfortunately, felt like a hidden fee and unnecessary.

    4
    « Short stay »

I stayed 4 nights and it was good. Hotel staffs were polite and professional. The beds are soft and those who has back pain will find it very difficult to sleep. Overall the hotel is good for short stay.

    3
    « Dated »

Our stay here wasn't off to a good start, as when my fiance was showering he discovered hairs on the shower wall that had been left by a previous guest. This made us question how clean the rest of the room was, however I left a note for housekeeping and they were gone the next day, and our stay improved from here. The buffet breakfast is really affordable with decent enough selections so we ate here a few times during our stay. The wifi is free, but I found that I had to login again after coming back to our room each day. The rooms got made up quickly which was a bonus. I'm not sure if I would stay here again as it is quite a dated hotel, but its close proximity to the Seattle Center was a bonus.

« Best Western hotel in Seattle »

I was pleased with the location near the Space Needle, and the nice greeting when I checked in , rather tired from my flight and ride from the airport via light rail and city bus. The room was comfortable with a good view of the space needle/

    « Great Hotel »

Very Nice Hotel and the bed was very comfortable. The location and the parking was good too. The parking was 15.00 per night but, it was kept in garage locked up. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

    « Very Accomodating »

We held our annual conference at this hotel in April. Location was fantastic. Walking distance to several fine restaurants, only 2 blocks from the Space Needle, and close to many other popular attractions. Rates were very competitive, rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was a pleasure to work with before, during, and after the event. They promptly accommodated even the last minute requests, and were very accessible when we needed them. The food was delicious, and attendees especially had great things to say about the Down Home Lunch Buffet that was catered. Meetings rooms were well organized, set up on time with exactly what we needed, and the staff made planning and execution of the conference easier than expected.

    « A Nice Stay (once I got comfortable) »

Haven't been used to parking in hotel decks but getting there about 11 at night and having to drive down a narrow alley to an underground with not the brightest light, it kind of felt like one of those scary movies where you're always on alert until you're inside. Needless to say we left our big bags in the trunk until morning and headed inside to the room! LOL! My only issue with the room was the carpet which had a pungent smell like probably hadn't been cleaned for a few stays. The hotel "Executive" sounds VERY classy however, it was an upgrade and it is noticeable. We had the Space Needle and EPM view which I thought would get old but it was nice to see everyday and night waking up and returning from each exciting day in the Seattle area. The restaurant offers breakfast but don't wait too late for buffet because for the price it's not worth it. Go down about 5 blocks to the 5 Point Café if you have a small few. It's a very "Seattle" music, grunge rock, hangout, fun scene. Staff was really nice, always cleaning. Can sit outside or inside. But as for the hotel overall, my daughter and I eventually felt comfortable and loosened up. We really enjoyed our stay. Priced through Orbitz.

    « Good Stay »

The rooms are a little dated and the carpet could be replaced. The doors were a little thin as we could hear people in the hall perfectly. The breakfast wasn't really worth the $8.00. I think it would be good for them to offer a free breakfast or at least free for 2 people in the room. The location is great being only about a block from EMP, the Space Needle and Key Arena. Parking is only $15 which is about 1/2 of what you pay in Seattle. The staff was very friendly.

    « Great Place for a Conference »

Loved this hotel for our conference last week (120 people). The hotel catering and food service was wonderful. Food was the best quality and abundant quantity for all our meals (breakfasts, lunches and banquet). The meeting rooms were set up great for our group and they were very accommodating to our every last minute changes and setup requests. Prices compared very favorable to other cities we have had our conference at, and conference manager was terrific to work with. Rooms rates were great and they were very clean. the hotel is in a great location to the Seattle Center and easy access to local attractions, and an awesome view of the Space Needle for many of our attendees. I cant say enough about the friendly and helpful staff. This is a great place to consider for your event!

    4
    « Western Snow Conference »

The Best Western, Executive Inn, Plus, was a wonderful location to host our annual conference. At every level, service and friendly staff was a very large part of the success of the conference. If there were something needed, the staff provided assistance, willingly, professionally and always with a smile, Great Job!!!!

    4
« Great Location, comfortable hotel »

The Executive Inn is in a great location, with unobstructed views of the Space Needle for one side of the hotel. The views were great and proximity to Belltown and Space Needle and parks was handy. Within walking distance to Pike Place and downtown as well. The rooms were clean and amenities worked well for the most part. The fridge was dialed up and froze my groceries (there wasn't a dial to adjust it). The rooms are in better shape then the common areas in the hotel, but the lobby has been updated and the restaurant is great for breakfast buffet ($8). Staff were efficient and friendly and helpful. For the price, this is a great value, mid-range hotel. Local places to eat and relax were close by and offered good value. This place may not wow you, but it's not aiming to be the Hilton. It is a clean, good value hotel located in a great location.

    3
« Not the expected one »

We stay there with a group of people. First the positive things. The bed was good and a hard one. The room was big. The waitress in the bar was very friendly and give us a chance for a last drink though she already decide to closed. The breakfast what you have to pay additional to the room rate was poor. One the last day it was the poorest, because most of the offerings running out availability. Room was obviously clean. But we decide to remove the plug from the fridge, and then we saw a lot of dust behind the cabinet. Of course it is not necessary to clean every day there, but twice a year it will be ok.

    4
    « Good Value »

I was pleasantly surprised by this older hotel. While It did not have a scenic location it is only a few blocks from Seattle Center, so easy access to monorail and city bus. I even enjoyed a leisurely 4 mile walk all the way to University of Washington. The main reason I chose the hotel is because the price was reasonable for this area. The decor is not completely modern, but it has been remodeled since the 70's and the rooms were clean, beds comfortable.

    4
« Good solid, basic hotel. »

This hotel is well-located overlooking the Space Needle and EMP Museum on one side. I will say though, that the Hyatt House is closer to the Space Needle, EMP Museum, and to the monorail. We walked to Pike's Place Market, but it was a long walk and there were a lot of hobos along the way. PROS: ~Breakfast is not included, but, they do have a reasonably priced breakfast buffet available. ~The rooms that we had were spacious and clean. ~We did not hear noise from other guests at all. ~You are walking distance to the monorail, Space Needle, and the EMP Museum ~There is a Walgreens withing walking distance CONS: ~The guy who brought the extra blankets at night was not very nice or concerned with customer service ~Hyatt House is closer to attractions than this hotel ~You have to park in a gated parking garage under the building that is kind of bleak and scary

« One of the Best Best Westerns! »

We stay at best westerns frequently and all are good (or we wouldn't keep staying there) but this one was a cut above. Updated decor, friendly staff, extremely well run breakfast area, 24/7 coffee and tea, 24/7 pool. It's way out of the way (we were visiting family in Hillsboro and it's a hike from there), but it worked great for us.

« Great Value in Seattle »

This hotel is easy to access from I-5. It is beside the Space Needle (easy to find) and this location makes it comfortable for walking and sightseeing. Breakfast is early and there are lots of choices in either hot or cold items. Our room was large and quiet.

    4
    « Location, Location, Location »

The location of the hotel was perfect! It was within walking distance of the Space Needle and all the museums and also the mono rail which will take you right into the heart of Seattle. Perhaps that's why it was almost 300$ a night which I though was a bit expensive. It was obviously an older hotel and some parts of the hotel had some wear and tear and perhaps in need of an upgrade, but overall it was pretty clean. My kids were a bit disappointed that there was no pool, and so were we.

    5
« Right Next to the Space Needle »

I was on a business trip that I was able to bring my kids on and so we wanted to combo some business during the day and some tourist stuff in the evenings. The kids had never been to Seattle so we HAD to go to the Space Needle and the EMP....and this hotel in literally RIGHT next to it! They also have SECURE off street parking for FREE. Great Hotel!!

    « Economical Excellence »

This hotel is a great choice if you are budget conscience and staying in the Seattle area to do the local attractions. Within walking distance of most Seattle attractions except for Pike's Market which is easy to find. Service was great. Food was excellent and the ease of the trip was a great success! The hotel itself is not very modern but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable!

« Untrained Front Desk Staff »

Check-in took over 15 minutes the poor lady who was working was by herself on a Saturday night with concerts in town. I was given a 1pm check-out and the day of departure I contacted the front desk (at 12:40pm) to let them know I would be out by the 1pm I was given. It was then a rep named Kelly told me that check-out was at noon and if I wasn't out by 12:45 I'd be charged another nights stay. I was in disbelief and explained to him I was given a 1pm check-out. He was rude, abrupt, and refused to help me in any manner. I had 5 minutes to throw all my belongings in a bag and fly down to the front desk before 12:45. I work in the hospitality industry and I would never make a guest feel like that regardless if we had 80 check-ins. The housekeepers hadn't even came to our room, so I feel it was unnecessary to do that, and he never contacted the room after 12pm to verify if I was still there or wanting to stay-over (which is supposed to be done for housekeeping purposes).

    4
    « A Great Surprise »

Frankly, I had little hope for this hotel. A place 2 blocks from the Space Needle that didn't cost $200 per night? Can't be very good. Boy, was I wrong. Short story is, we couldn't have been happier. The rate was $110 per night. Really. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the view of the Needle was grand. When we weren't looking out the window, we slept like babies. The restaurant was fine. Good food, and very attentive service. The bar was every bit as good. Every employee we talked to was in a good mood, friendly, and more than happy to chat a bit. The nightly parking fee is not charged if you are a BW Rewards member at the Platinum or Diamond level. We are Diamond. With everything included (meals, booze, room), our weekend bill here was #331. And worth every penny. Next time we are in this part of town for more than a day, we'll be staying here.

    4
« Nice older hotel, good value »

We have stayed here before and did again. The location at Seattle Center is good and it's a short walk to downtown, assuming it's not raining! Otherwise the monorail will get you there. Beds are excellent and comfortable. It's an older property, probably built around 1960, and could use a renovation. But overall it's solid value and recommended.

    5
    « Great Experience »

Warm,Friendly,Efficient Staff. Clean ,Updated ,Large rooms . Restaurant and Lounge facilities offered good service and a variety of food. This is a great location in Seattle as it is close to the Space Needle and Pike Place Market.

    « Okay hotel »

You have to pay a nightly parking fee which really put a damper on things. It should have been included with our stay. Because of that we will not be staying here again unfortunately. The value was okay. I could have gotten a better hotel for the same price with parking included

    « Good Hotel »

Very comfortable, convenient location (from my work perspective), excellent amenities in the room. The staff was friendly and helpful in providing directions, There was good public transport connection to downtown. Had problems getting on the internet on my hand-held device in the room, but helpdesk quickly resolved the issue. Overall a very good experience

    4
« Good place to sleep. »

Good sleep. It was quiet. We had a great view of the Space needle from the room. Some rude person had smoked in the hallway stinking it up. I told the front desk and they did something because the smell was mostly gone about 45 minutes later. Parking was secured under the hotel. The parking garage was dark, but fairly clean. The location was convenient for shopping and sight seeing. Seattle's most important sights, were close by, either walking distance or less than 15 minutes by car. Such as: Pike Place Market Space Needle Museum McDonald's was around the corner and other restaurants were nearby.

    2
    « Stingy Staff »

Hotel doesn't take a corporate credit card. Staff doesn't honor Platinum member benefits. Staff was disorganized and told me there was no free breakfast. After purchasing breakfast outside the hotel the morning staff told me I had two free vouchers. Very frustrating experience with a less than helpful front desk clerk who was stingy!

    4
« Great stop in Seattle »

Comfortable accommodation in a friendly hotel. Well priced for the city. Walkable to several restaurants. Pay parking and slightly noisy air conditioner were the only cons. Drive or use public transport to several local attractions.

    4
    « Best Western @ Space Needle »

Hotel is very nice and centrally located. All staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast costs $7.95 and is the same as free continental breakfasts I've had at similar hotels. I expected a little more quality for the price. My only big complaint about the hotel was the construction noise nearby the hotel which begins promptly @ 7:00 am with a jackhammer. Next visit I would insist on being on the Space Needle side of hotel.

    3
« Okay for a night or two, would avoid longer stays, as it has some downside »

In general it is a typical Best Western hotel, nothing out of the ordinary. The rooms have a nice size and the furniture is functional, but worn down a little bit. Toilet and shower are separate, while the hand washing area is in the same room as the sleeping area, which results in a bit of noise annoyance when sharing a room. Also the coffee machine is right next to it, resulting that you have to cook coffee where you clean yourself up, which I don't find ideal. My room also had a couple of issues, it was a adjourning room to the room next door and I could hear everything going on next doors, which was sadly a lot, so sleep was often interrupted. Also one of the lights was flickering even when turned off, so I had to remove it. The fridge in the room was also very loud so I turned it off. The windows of the room where also not really closing, so there was always a draft going and without running A/C on heating, the room got very cold in the morning. I can confirm this from multiple rooms. Beside that, the hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is okay for what you pay. The location is good for sightseeing as the Space Needle & EMP are right next to it and you can use the monorail to get around town. I wouldn't stay there again, but in general it was decent enough to go there for a cheap night.

    « Exceeded expectations »

This hotel was one that was exceptionally quiet. No one was slamming doors and there were no kids running up and down the halls. Of exceptional note was the comfort of the bed, it was just right. The location of the hotel could not have been better...near almost everything.

    « Helpful, friendly staff »

Nice, clean hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. This was my first trip to Seattle and the staff were helpful in navigating the city, finding the best local places to eat and must-see activities.

    « I'll pass next time »

pretty blase'- and the room deodorizer or cleaner reminds me of NILODOR- smells awful. The ironing board hanging in the bathroom killed the idea of having a nice soak in the tub- felt like I was in a utility room.

« Another pleasant surprise from Best Western »

I was a little nervous staying at this hotel. We've only stayed at luxury high rises in Seattle before. Alas, with a kid in college, the budget is slightly different now. The hotel is well situated for walking, dining, sightseeing. The lobby is welcoming. There is a restaurant on the premises. Breakfast is free and is far more elaborate than anything I would expect for free. The people are super friendly. Parking is free! Once in your in the room, I'm not really sure how much different it is from the afore-not-mentioned luxury brand. Keep your expectations in check, folks, it's not the Four Seasons. But, for the price, it is clean, comfortable, safe and comes with some nice perks.

« Another date in Seattle »

The significant other and I pop in to seattle every couple of months to kick back for a night. This time around we chose this hotel. Front staff is nothing if not some of the most helpful I've encountered to date; we arrived before check in, as expected our room wasn't ready, however we were allowed to park while we putzed around nearby Seattle Center. Upon actual check in I found the process quite fast compared to other places in the area. We stayed in a king room with a view of the needle. Room was quite spacious and clean. We wanted to walk to the waterfront a d it was raining! We didn't even think to bring our umbrella, and we were ecstatic when we learned the front desk has loaners. We didn't try the breakfast, mainly because we slept in. I give a 4 star review based on the misinformation on the Brella menu in the elevator closest to entrance; it stated 75 for 12 chicken wings and 55 for a cod something.... being a cook I was shocked. It wasn't until check out that we saw the menu booklets on each floor and found the pricing to be much much more reasonable. Would consider staying in the future.

    « Wonderful experience! »

This hotel is a great place to stay! Our experience here was above our expectations! The staff is professional and welcoming, the lobby has a fireplace and nice quiet seating should you choose to make use of it. Our room with a king size bed was extremely clean, comfortable and spacious. Brella's restaurant, just off the lobby offers a great choice of buffet breakfast items. Love the tortilla's, rice, black beans and eggs. We will definitely return to this hotel when staying in Seattle.

    « Look elsewhere »

While the room was comfortable and clean, with a great view of the space needle, that was about all we can say about this hotel. The walls are paper thin and I believe I have never stayed in a place where they were so thin. We could hear the family reunion in the three rooms around us coming and going until 1am and up and going again at 6am, including squealing kids (playing hide and seek!). We could hear the kids counting. We could hear the conversations. We heard every bump and knock in the rooms around us. Seriously - what hotel puts a business traveller (coming in from Australia no less) next to a family reunion??? Additionally, we asked for help with directions and were told 'I don't know.' No offer to assist, no 'let me look that up for you.' A vanilla answer by a vanilla receptionist (who was the Supervisor too, I believe). While the hotel was convenient to the Space Needle etc, I'd suggest staying somewhere closer to downtown. That is, unless you are just looking for a bare bones hotel and not a decent nights sleep (and we did not, spending two nights there).

    « A good Value »

I had stayed at a Resort Hotel in Florida a few days earlier. That trip was awesome... If I hadn't been in Florida It may have been better. The Hotel is clean. Well Kept, But its Older. The staff is nice, but seemed to be lesser than other places. Like the best people got hired away. The Bar tender was sweet, but in a Dive Bar redneck way, not a Business Hotel quality. Most hotels will play sports in the Bar TV with the volume low, unless someone asks. This lady was watching Cops re-runs.... Maybe she was looking for her Ex Husband on an episode. The place seemed a bit rougher than I had experienced at the same place two years ago. The cost was certainly more inline with what I was willing to spend for the trip, but the last time I went it seemed like a better value. I will book there again... it's not horrible.

    4
    « Space Needle Location »

This hotel is well situated to the Space Needle and is certainly walking distance to restaurants and attractions. Helpful and courteous staff. Lobby is spacious and well appointed. The room we had was clean and tidy but the decor was certainly tired. Small maintenance items such as peeling caulking around the tub were left unattended. The bed was very comfortable and delivered a very restful sleep. Parking is extra at $15 per night. The restaurant was closed during our stay so we can not comment on quality of food.

    4
    « Cold but good »

Comfortable hotel after you turn the heat on. Heat was off when i arrived and it was frrreeezzzing!! Front desk staff very nice, very helpful. within walking distance of shops, restaurants. Nice lobby with free coffee. If you rely on hotel amenities for shampoo/soap, bring your own if you stay here. The stuff you pump out of the shower is awful. All in all, it was pretty inexpensive so if you're on a budget this place is just fine once the heat is on.

    4
« Good place to stay »

I was on a business trip and stayed at this hotel. Room was big and clean. Had a view of the Space Needle. Close to downtown so good for business or tourist. Breakfast was quite nice and the day staff were good to deal with. Night person when I checked in was grumpy and I had to pay $15 for parking. All good though and I would go back.

    4
« Location, location, and parking! »

Good hotel in great location for visiting the city of Seattle. Short walk to the Science Center, Space Needle, Experience Music, Monorail station to down town shopping with walk to Farmer's Market too. Great Staff, Very good breakfast buffet for $8, and parking until 4 the next day after you have checked out! Sweet deal.

    4
    « Slept in Seattle »

Rooms are well appointed and located very close to the Space Needle. Additional bonus of being close to the Metrorail to take you downtown. Service at Reception and Breakfast a little underwhelming, verging on rude. But overall a pleasant stay due to location.

    4
    « Convenient location »

A nice hotel for the price we paid (< $120). There is a $15 parking fee for the garage underneath the building. Parking is easiest for cars less than 6 feet tall, though there are several parking spots for cars taller than that.

  • 3
« Great location, Poor Service »

The problem is the staff, front desk staff, housekeeping staff, restaurant staff. When there is a problem, they hold themselves rigid, like a power struggle. Not all staff are bad, but enough to ruin the feeling of your stay. The facilities and the location are great. Great restaurants nearby, health food stores nearby and the Seattle Space Needle right outside the window. The conference facility area is top notch, and serviced by a top notch team.. I was there on business so stayed in the hotel for that reason. I would not stay here if it weren't attached to a business trip.

    4
« Great deal in the heart of everything »

There are so many things to recommend this hotel. From the simple things in life like cleanliness, friendly staff, instant hot water with pressure enough to draw a soothing hot bath in minutes. The location puts everything within easy access, though despite twenty years as a resident of Seattle, all the roads converging within a block of the hotel can be disorienting. The dazzle dazzle of the space needle in my picture window was a real treat, and I look forward to a return visit....Ooops!...One drawback...The WIFI was fine for email, not streaming..... had to be reconnected regularly.

    4
    « Good location »

Good location. Friendly staff. Lots of parking for a reasonable price ($15). Room was cheap compared to the rest of Seattle. Stayed here in 2009 and again this year. I would recommend it if you're on a budget. It's also about a mile walk from whole foods which is a plus.

    5
    « hotel coment »

staff were very helpful with directions and forthcoming about local dinning facilities. good place would recomend. the only problem is the furniture and carpeting were well worn needs to be replaced but overal a good hotel

    5
    « Great hotel »

This hotel was definitely better than I expected. Had a great view of the space needle from our room. Loved that it was within walking distance to many amenities including the monorail which you can take to get to the light rail system. There's a McDonald's 2 mins away (if you're into that, we don't like MCD so we didn't eat there.) We also didn't get to try the hotel breakfast since we weren't up early enough for it. All in all if/when we go back to Seattle this will probably be where we stay at. Beds were also comfortable and the room was clean.

    5
« Best Western Executive in Seattle »

Great location and rooms with underground parking. We got a great deal on booking.com and I was worried the low cost might lead to a poor experience but the hotel was excellent, staff great, walking distance to Space Needle and downtown. Will definitely return if I am in the city again.

    5
    « Excellent value »

One could not ask for a cleaner, more accomodating hotel for the price and proximity to some of the best attractions Seattle has to offer. I called 6 different hotels seeking one to properly fit our needs, which were relatively simple. Thie Best Western was the only one that seemed able to fit what we wanted, and beyond.

    3
    « disappointed »

I was misled to believe that I would get continental breakfast, courtesy parking, abundance of soap, shampoo, skin cream, and conditioner. But, I did not. On the other hand lady (customer service rep) was trying to fight me with parking.

    4
    « My Perspective »

This is a very good hotel. The value is very reasonable. My one complaint is that the hotel needs to enforce its no-smoking rule. Customers in the adjoining room smoked. I reported this incident to the Front Desk but there was not a resolution. The occupants continued to smoke.

    5
« nice stay at Bestwestern Plus »

I like this hotel because in downtown, very close to space needle,.Breakfast was good ( of course have to pay $7.95).Stuff is nice.Room is nice and clean, just like normal bestwestern not upgrade yet but still good.

« far from sleepless in Seattle »

if traveling for work or pleasure, make Best Western Executive inn your first destination for a pleasurable stay, and a great business travailing experience. if you want to pay far too much, and experience a "over the top" stay, Downtown Seattle would be a better bet.

    5
    « Mommy Daughter Trip »

Great stay and very accommodating. Great location. A sweet weekend get away with my daughter and I. Saw some sights on foot, was able to eat like royalty. Great location and price was decent for value of the entire stay.

    4
« Close to Space Needle »

Great rooms and beds, excellent and helpful staff. Walking distance to Space Needle and Monorail so easy access to downtown Seattle without driving. Only negative is that hotel restaurant is not open for lunch. Good buffet breakast ans light meal dafter 4pm in bar for Happy Hour.

    5
« Close to Seattle Center & price is right »

The check in clerk was VERY helpful. We were there for an event that began early in the afternoon and they were very gracious about letting us check in early. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Parking was $15 but parking in downtown Seattle is really expensive so that's actually a deal. It was pretty quiet. You can get rooms with a view of the Space Needle. The breakfast buffet is not free like the Best Western Loyal that's a few blocks away.

    4
    « Great Value - Great Location »

Clean and comfortable hotel walking distance from the Space Needle, Monorail and EMP Museum. A very nice king bed, nice view from the room and recently upgraded bathroom for less than $100 - best deal in Seattle.

    5
« good view of the space needle, great value »

Lobby was a little run down, however the level of service was not compromised. Li(?) the lady who checked us in was really helpful, she sorted out our slight complicated reservation and worked out a good deal and a nice room for us. The room was clean and does not represent the lobby and the hall. The best of all it had a great view of the space needle. For what we paid for i think this is a good deal and im pretty happy with my overall stay

    3
« Worn but serves the purpose »

I got a safe, clean hotel room within easy walking distance of downtown Seattle for under $100--what's to complain about? Honestly, the place is worn, and that's going to matter to some people. But it was clean, the beds were so comfortable I pulled the sheet back to see what kind they were, and the price included a microwave, refrigerator, and in-room wifi, and garage parking was just $15. I would return if I needed to.

    4
« Great view of the Space Needle! »

This hotel was very clean, helpful staff, convenient location, easy to find. The hotel is only 1 block away from the Space Needle which makes it easy to catch the Monorail to Pikes Place Market. We had an amazing view of the Space Needle! Will definitely stay here again!

    4
    « Great Location »

Stayed here for a night with friends. Great walking distance to downtown Seattle especially Space needle only block away. Didn't have time to try the breakfast. Internet was good and free. Didn't like that they charged $15 for parking. Just put it in the total fee and make it free. Always seems like a hidden charge when tacked on at arrival.

    5
« Excellent location, great service, helpful staff. »

The hotel is just steps away from the Space Needle and the Monorail. The Pike Place Market, central commercial district, and lots of attractions are also within walking distance. Great hotel to stay in Seattle, especially for travelling with kids.

    « Average »

1 night stay. It was average. Nothing great to bring back with us. Speedy check-in and check-out for sure. We did use their lounge - bar attendant made awesome margarita from scratch. yeah that's something I will take with me. He did good job keeping everyone engaged at the lounge.

    4
    « Fabulous location »

The even numbered rooms have fantastic views of the space needle and the museum. It was a 2 minute walk to the space needle and Chihuly gardens. Would definitely stay here again. The underground gated parking garage was also convenient.

    4
« Good service in the heart of the Downtown Seattle »

The building itself bit old and the carpets are faded, but overall I got good service and comfortable bed. The brunch was above and beyond. Loved the service and the overall was a good experience. This was second time to spend my night in this hotel and most likely I'll be back again.

    5
« Excellent hotel at a perfect location for visitors »

This hotel is virtually next to the Space Needle in the Seattle Centre, which is a must-visit for short-term visitors like me. Many attractions are within 5 minutes' walk. You can take the monorail to the Westlake shopping district and walk from there to the Pike market - another must-visit place. Shockingly, I paid less than $80 per night for this downtown hotel, booked directly from Bestwestern website. Really good value. The room is very comfortable and big. Very pleasant; completely trouble-free.

    5
« Great Hotel, Great Location »

The hotel was easy to find - close to the I-5. The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was comfortable and spacious. The location was perfect - Space Needle view from our window and monorail access to downtown.

    « Just one night »

Very comfortable room and the rate this time was much lower than I'm used to. Impressive lobby....but I checked in too late to try the restaurant. Though the breakfast is advertised to be available until 1000 am, most of the trays in the buffet were empty at 9:40

Great stay for the value! Staff is excellent, rooms are clean, view of Space Needle awesome. Central location to Needle & Museums then only a $6.00 cab ride to Pike Pl. Would totally stay here again. Check out Groupon deals for hotel and get the Seattle City Pass if you're planning to visit ALL attractions.

« Very nice and very comfortable! »

I don't know why, but I was not expecting much from this hotel. I had absolutely NO reason to think that, but I did. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this to be a VERY clean and very comfortable hotel. The beds were SUPER comfortable. We had some personal issues in the middle of the night, and the hotel staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful to our needs. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would definately stay there again. The close up views of the Space Needle are a really nice bonus!!

    « Pleasant stay »

We celebrate our wedding anniversary in Seattle each year. This was number 59. We are now coming to the Best Western Plus Executive Inn (we have now for several years) because it is conveniently located by the monorail, the Civic Center and other attractions, and because it is clean, nice and has an excellent view of the Space Needle. Great staff and most accomodating.

« Third time the charm? »

Great first experience, terrible second experience, third time experience: maybe the charm, once remodeling is done. I had a very large corner room that is in the remodeled section. Big upgrade in the bed comfort category. Slept like a rock. However, room very hot and hard to regulate temp. But windows open for that fresh Seattle air. My room, 280, faced the busy park&ride lot and airplane noise, but that eased up at night, continuing about 7 am. Good TV, but not HD; liked the recycle TV remote so not germy. Very comfortable pillows. Clean bathroom, but mold in corners, so if sensitive to that, FYI. Not a lot, but if you have allergies. Nice hot shower and water pressure. This property USE TO HAVE THE best breakfast, but with remodeling, I was very disappointed. Cold everything. No fresh fruit and cramped dining room. One of the big pluses for this property was its breakfast, I hope it continues after remodeling. Pleasant check in, great shuttle to airport service.

    3
« Great location! Not so great hotel. »

Don't get the wrong idea from my title, the hotel was mostly ok, and the staff was helpful and friendly. However, we've seen much cleaner places and the bed was a torture chamber. I think it was box springs with a pad on it. Aarrgghh! The bright spot was location. We could see the Space Needle up close and personal from our window. The other good thing was that breakfast was very nice. They had kicked the conventional scrambled eggs, bacon, waffle, etc., etc., up by having a nice pico de gallo and grated cheese with tortilla's to make breakfast burrito's. VERY nice. Lastly, it's an irritant to pay separately for parking. It was an extra $15/night + tax of course. I'd rather they build that into the room rate.

    4
    « Girl time »

everything was good except when I called in to say I was running late and the female was rude. The bed was nice and cozy. Front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Loved having underground parking that was secure and priced just right

    « Thanksgiving »

I have been staying at this property for years and always come back due to how comfortable the staff makes me and my family feel. They are always quick to respond and go above and beyond. My family and I stayed most recently for the Thanksgiving holiday due to having to be in town for my daughters weekend of soccer tournaments. We were a bit apprehensive about not being home for the holiday but knew the hotel staff staff would make it a special and comfortable stay and as usual they made it happen. Thanks for taking such good care of us maiking our holiday without family so special.

    5
« Great location next to Seattle Center »

I stayed here the night before the Seattle Marathon because it was only a block or 2 from the start of the race. The hotel was great - underground secure parking, comfortable lobby, and a restaurant and bar. Check in was easy and the front desk person was very friendly and knowledgeable about the property and nearby attractions. The room was great, with a view of the space needle and equipped with a safe, microwave, small fridge, and a coffee maker. The room was clean as well.

    5
    « Always a good value »

I usually stay at the Best Western Plus Executive Inn when I visit Seattle. It's convenient to transit to get downtown and is in the centre of everything I plan to visit or stores where I plan to shop. The staff is always pleasant, the rooms are clean and the beds are wonderfully comfortable. This time I visited with a friend and her young son and she was more that pleased with their room and said she had the best sleep ever when sleeping away from home.

    3
« it was great location but »

they never mention a parking charge then 15.00 showed up on my bill........I was not happy. The cable was out all evening, not happy. the internet wifi was bad, not happy the beds fro amazingly soft, great location, awesome view of the space needle.......great access to downtown food!

    « A Room With A View »

Thanks to Best Western Rewards and my status, we were able to get an upgraded room with a view of Seattle Center and the Space Needle. Be a rewards member and enjoy what this chain has to offer. The room was excellent for what we had planned for our stay; a lazy morning with some sightseeing in the afternoon and a concert in the evening.

    2
« Good Location and Breakfast. That's all »

You get what you pay for and maybe less. Had to change rooms due to very thin walls. Second room had a water leak at the window. It was pouring rain so carpeting by window got soaked. Will not be returning. On plus side, good location and breakfast.

    3
« Always friendly but nothing exciting »

The hotel staff was friendly and they kept the hotel clean but it is becoming dated and a bit ragged. The room I had needed the carpet torn out in the bathroom due to water damage and the access to the room was very narrow next to the elevator.

« Not my best stay at a Best Western »

The room was nice and comfortable for three adults. We didn't stay on the side with the Space Needle but we were okay with that. When we first arrived in our room the ice machine, which was one room away from us, was very noisy. I called down to the front desk to see if they could move us and he said they were booked and had no other rooms. I was not happy but dealt with it. We ate dinner in the lounge and our waiter was also tending the bar so our service wasn't that great though there were only a few other patrons in the restaurant. The food was okay, nothing special. My son and I went to get breakfast the next morning and arrived just before 10 a.m. We were sent away because they were already closing. The hotel is in a nice location if you are looking to walk around and do some sightseeing.

« Great Hotel, Great Location, Great Value »

I have been staying at the Best Western Space Needle on Taylor Ave, Seattle for the last 3 years for Business Conferences and the Hotel and Staff are wonderfully accommodating. If you are looking for a Venue for Space and Food, contact Patricia Johnson at the Best Western for your event.

« Great location for tourist visit to Seattle »

Excellent location a block from the Space Needle and City Center museums. Easy access to other attractions as well. Paid parking as with most downtown hotels, but more reasonable than most. Good breakfast buffet available at the hotel and an excellent friendly staff. Great view of the Space Needle from rooms on one side, so I suggest asking. Great overall experience here.

    4
« Newly renovated and walking distance to attractions »

The staff here are extremely accommodating and friendly. The rooms are not 5 star but are ample, comfortable and clean. the bed is extremely comfortable. Coffee machine supplied bonus! The bathroom is functional and clean but very small. The pool was refreshing on a hot day. This hotel is very close to all the attractions. Seattle is a buzzy place so bring your Berocca. So much to see and do in Seattle, the staff will help you to prioritise attractions and give good advice on time management at each attraction. There are a variety of Restaurants near the Pike Markets (an absolute must do)with a wide selection of great food choices. If you want to go up in the Space Needle arrive early it gets busy very quickly. Free wifi is offered here and is able to be used in the neighbouring café and bar.

    4
« Good location, a few blocks to Seattle Centre »

Fast check in, reasonable size room, wifi included. Parking on site and easy to walk to Seattle Centre. Monorail to downtown is a few blocks away. Lobby has large sitting/meeting area and to go breakfast is offered.

    « Nice place »

Excellent value, exceeded my expectations. This hotel may not impress people used to luxury rooms, but for this family on a budget it was outstanding. Very clean, great breakfast and location, within walking distance of many things. Good 24hr parking rate compared to city parking.

    5
    « Great Location »

This has a great location being just steps away from the Space Needle and downtown. (Don't forget you can take the monorail from the Space Needle to Westlake Ctr. Round trip for each adult is $4.50.) There is a hotel daily charge $15 for parking but I guess that's to be expected given the location. Professional staff, spotless rooms, very comfortable bed and I like that each room has a safe that's very easy to operate. There is a charge for breakfast and the food was not that great... if I'm paying, then there are lots of places better nearby like 5 Point Cafe for one. I would stay here again though.

« A Real Gem Right in the Heart of the City »

My husband and I were very happy with our stay this past week at the Best Western Plus. The location is perfect, as a younger couple we found that it was within walking distance of everything that we wanted to do. Pike Place Market, The Space Needle, Seattle Glass Blowing Studio, West Lake Center, and Lake Union Park were a quick jaunt away. Special thanks to Lionel, Marcus, Megan, and Julia were all super helpful and great assets to the hotel. We are definitely going to stay at the Best Western Plus Executive next time that we come to Seattle.

    4
« Nice place, great location »

    « Exceeded my expectations »

The Union I work for used this union facility several times over the course of many months. The staff is amazing. They are very professional and are exceptional problem solvers. The first time I called to see if this facility would accommodate our group I was pleased to find it was more affordable than other Seattle hotels and would work with me to accommodate all of our needs. We are not an easy group either. We have unique room set ups and many different dietary restrictions. Whenever I called and needed to schedule meetings for #120 people with breakout rooms and meals whether it was for the next month, week or the next day Patricia Johnson went into ?Let's make this happen mode.? This was so refreshing. She even worked with other groups to make changes so our group was able to meet. The meeting attendees felt like they were part of the Executive Inn family. Everyone was treated so well. The hotel staff members have the best attitude. I have never worked with any hotel staff that are more willing to do what it takes to get the job done and they do it with a smile. I place them at a 10 on my own ?See a need and fill it? scale. I never felt rushed when dealing with them. In fact I felt like one of the family even though I never met any of them.

« Reliable Comfort and Convenience »

I have stayed here on several occasions for events at the Seattle Center, such as the Seattle Opera and the Repertory Theatre. An easy walk. The hotel also has a goodly amount of parking available, which costs $15/night, substantially better than at the area garages. Great room darkening curtains, a refrigerator that does not buzz all night, a decent reading chair with a lamp....and a very comfortable bed.

    4
    « Weekend stay »

Great location, clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff. The decor could use an update though, it was a little outdated and rough around the edges. Reasonable price for the weekend, in the location that it is.

    3
    « Good location »

For a budget hotel this Best Western has a pretty good location, only a five minute walk ( or less ) to the Seattle Space Needle and Mcdonalds, a 15-20 minute walk down Denny Street to the Wholefoods Supermarket and an Einstein Bros bag shop and a gentle 20-25 minute walk to Pike Street. The free wifi was a little slow but not the worst I've come across. Decent shower and fairly comfortable bed but the décor was a little bit to brown and gloomy for me, could do with a re-fresh. Lovely seating area in the front foyer, with couches and a fireplace. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful.

    « Great Location »

This hotel was awesome. Great Location and service was perfect. I would stay here every time. The staff was so friendly. Loved it Perfect view of the space needle. Great service. Pikes Place was a little far to walk but we did it anyway. Beautiful City to see. Owls and Thistle was an awesome little Irish Pub. The drive to Mt. Rainier was perfect as well.

« Affordable hotel in walking distance of Seattle landmarks »

While this hotel looks a little bit like a monolithic throwback, the interior has been recently remodeled. Despite the building being older and therefore having a drop ceiling in the hallways, the elevators being older, and the bathrooms having low ceilings, everything is well put together and serviceable. The bathroom lighting felt a bit dark, or perhaps it was the color temperature of the bulb or lack of multiple lighting sources at the mirror that made it sometimes difficult to see detail while grooming. The bed was comfortable, and plenty of well-stuffed pillows were very much appreciated. It was also nice to have a television that was directly connected to cable TV, no hotel channel or weird, slow interactive guide to try to navigate out of, but the sleep button on my remote control didn't work. The dorm-style refrigerator and microwave oven come in very handy for leftovers after a night out. The breakfast buffet was inexpensive and had a wide variety of hot and cold foods as well as drinks; everything was also available to build a breakfast burrito as well as two flavors of waffle batter. The hotel is located blocks from the Space Needle, EMP, and more, while still being a bit out of the way so there was no traffic noise. I did notice that I could hear occupants in the next room at times through the closed adjoining door. On-site parking is inexpensive as well. There was no stale smell that older buildings will often have.

« Excellent hotel in a great location »

Located very near to the Seattle Center this proved to be a great place to stay for a four-day visit to Seattle. The room was large, clean comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast is very good value for money and the bar is pleasant with a good selection of beers. Staff are pleasant, friendly, helpful and efficient. Excellently located for all the facilities and attractions at the Settle Center and also easy to walk to downtown attractions or to take the monorail down there. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a great city.

« The view was great, the quality of the room not so much. »

I felt the room was dated and not as clean as it should have been for the price we paid. It was a decent location and it had a nice view. However, if you don't get a room with a view of the space needle then it is not worth it. I will not be staying here again.

    « Great Downtown Location »

We had a fabulous view of the Space Needle and EMP and were just blocks from Seattle Center and restaurants, shops, etc. We were able to find a parking space in the garage every night. The staff were very friendly and fun to interact with. Check in was quick and easy. I recommend the breakfast buffet there. There were many choices and all was tasty. Considering the price of downtown hotels, this was a great value.
