Best Western Hotel Round Rock, Round Rock

The hotel was extremely dirty, bad breakfast cold coffee. Live roaches in the room.. I would not refer this location to anyone. The internet pictures look nothing like what you will be staying in! This hotel does not meet the best western franchise expectations!! Drove home and took a shower after staying two nights.

All the front desk staff were friendly and everything other than that was a disappointment. First morning husband went to lobby for coffee. The pots were empty he asked someone working there was told some would be ready shortly after waiting quite awhile he left without. Went back to the room for a shower didn't have any hot water and very little water pressure. I went to front desk and was told to let the water run for 10-15 minutes because it was cold the night before. Well finally got hot water after a wait. Returned to the room after spending the day away, the room had not been made up so we had no clean towels. We were so over it all just left and decided we would not make this mistake again.

We had a dead roach in the room when we checked in & bug bites on us when we left. The staff at the front desk were great. The cleaning ladies were very helpful with plenty of towels & making up the room!

We booked here to evac from Hurricane Ida. We had our pets, so options where limited on short notice. As all the reviews say, the staff was excellent and nice. That is the only good thing I would say about this location though. First, there were bugs... a roach was on the lobby floor at check in. There were also some in our room. There were men in the parking lot loud and drinking ALL night, each night we stayed. On the steps, in the walkways, in the parking lots... loudly talking to each other and on their phones. As a woman, I did not feel safe the entire stay. I would not recommend this place for anyone... ever.

We do have pesticide treatment every month and we never had a problem in past and also usually our housekeeping staff always check it properly after they complete cleaning the room but I will also make sure with my housekeeping staff about the incident. Room was nice. Limited parking. Breakfast was scarce. Was located close to the things I needed. I think the price was a little high but just wanted a room for the night. Staff was friendly enough and lobby was inviting

When I inquired about the breakfast, it was the weekend I was staying there, the front desk said that there was not enough guest to have a hot breakfast, there will be instant oatmeal and pastries. On the website, it states differently. When I took a shower, the next morning the water was still in the tub. The TV was subpar, there was an inexpensive variety of channels, very sparse. There were two crickets in my room. I was left with one wash clothe and one hand towel in the room. The coffee selections in the room was just caffenine with two cups. The front desk did not explain where the ice machine was located. This hotel seems to be a hot spot for seasonal construction workers. I did not feel very safe traveling as a single female. Once I got to the room at night, I did not leave. Even though frontdesk stated that there was not to be the usual Best Western Breakfast in the mornings (weekend stay) that there was not enough people staying to host it, the parking lot was filled and my parking spot got taken because of all the clients at the hotel. I would have preferred for front desk to be honest and state that the owner of the hotel was to cheap to put on the breakfast. I paid $30 more a night for this place than I paid in Galveston Seawall on the beach, which is amazing. I felt such a let down when I came to this hotel. It does not even come close to the other Best Westerns I have stayed at. Even the tolietries were patched together, there were three different types of brands, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Is there no pride? The only positive I have to say is that the room was clean. If you just need a clean room and nothing more, this will be your place to be.

the room was very clean and everything worked well. the tv did have a sentence in "closed captioning" that never disappeared but was not a big deal. my only issue was that not 1 parking spot was left in the lot when we got in around 9:30 pm. there seem to be a lot of work trucks using this hotel and we saw a few work trailers taking up parking spots.

Drug deals behind the pool at night people living in one side of the hotel, women going to and from rooms during the night, woke up to the smell of marijuana in the middle of the night. The only good thing was that the door had a deadbolt and they had coffee in the morning.

We have stayed in this hotel before and it worked perfectly. However, now it is booked out by construction crews. They fill up the parking lot and block the fire lanes with large vehicles and leave no parking for other guests. They also party at all hours and block the stairs and balconies. I would definitely recommend for those looking for a family friendly hotel to stay elsewhere as this one just doesn't really fit that anymore. On a positive note, the staff is very nice and the rooms are kept clean.

Great BestWestern, convenient location. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice amenities, decent price. Never have any issues; very consistent in overall quality service. Have gone to this location several times.

One night stay/ tons of road noise/ comfortable bed/ smoke smell in restroom. Unless you plan to stay awake at night "enjoying" road noise, do yourself a favor and choose another location. Main door would not close properly.

My stay was great! It snowed and iced over during the week but the room stayed very warm! Ladonna, CJ and Tayler went above and beyond while remaining professional and pro active under those extreme circumstances!

We were pleased with our stay at the Round Rock Best Western. The room was newly redone, and was spotless and very clean. The front desk attendants, C.J., Cheryl and Darienne were welcoming and helpful. We will definitely stay there again, on our next trip to Round Rock.

Enjoyed our stay for one night. The room was clean with modern furnishings. It had a couch, a microwave and refrigerator. Convenient location. You can hear the traffic going by but it wasn't bothersome at all. We had a great night's sleep. If I had to give one suggestion is that they upgrade the towels... they were on the real thin side but functional. Such a nice room, it deserves nicer towels. The receptionist was extremely friendly. I will return and will definitely recommend it!!!

We stayed here because the pet fee was reasonable, and we liked the motel. It was really clean. Price is right. Traffic noise was a little high but it is right on the freeway. We will stay there again. It was well lighted and we felt safe.

I was in the area last week for work and I just felt like I had to come here and leave a review. My experience was great. My room was nice and clean. The sheets and pillows were perfect and fresh. The Best Western Round rock Tx is a great place to stay. Not only are the rooms clean the people who work there are friendly and help in any way they can. There breakfast is always good and there manager Ladonna is very professional but will help you in any way she can. You really can't go wrong by staying at this motel even if you are going into Austin. It take about 20 minutes to get to the hospitals Doctors offices etc.

The location was great for shopping & restaurants & the rate was fantastic!!!! Customer service was outstanding as well! The room itself was mediocre, bed was not so comfy & room smelled of pets when heater was turned on. Filter change and carpet cleaning may help prevent this in the future.

This hotel is in a great location with a great price. The room was clean and well maintained. Staff was very helpful with me forgetting toiletries. The price was fantastic. Breakfast was limited due to covid which was disappointing but understandable.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will keep going back. They are very clean and very friendly. I have stayed 5 times this month and they are amazing. I think I'll be gping back tonight as a matter of fact

This was a nice hotel for the price. The only complaint I have is that the AC didn't cool very well in our room, which is a room problem and not indicative of the hotel as a whole. The doors do open to the outside, as opposed to internally from a hallway. So it's more of a motel set up. But the lobby was nice and the staff were friendly.

Our air conditioner went out, and we stayed here while it was getting fixed. Our two day stay turned into 6 days,which was frustrating, but we couldn't have asked for a better hotel to stay at. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and Darienne was especially wonderful! She helped with all of our requests and questions with a smile on her face! She made the stay so pleasant by herself, but the rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool was clear and refreshing as well. I will look for a Best Western whenever I need a hotel, and will especially choose the Round Rock location if possible. 10 out of 10 stars and two thumbs up!

The service I have received is top notch! Darienne at the front desk is fantastic and the maid crew is great. I'm in between living situations and Best Western had very competitive rates for a week long stay and the whole place is pet friendly!

This is a real motel where you park outside your room. Price was incredible. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean and have everything you need for your stay. Nice sized, ice cold refrigerator. Bathroom was fine, tub was roomy. Beds were comfortable and desk chair was comfortable (i'm a big guy). Room was spacious and staff was very friendly and attentive. Good breakfast and nice breakfast dining room. Ended up staying an extra day here and got an oil change and did our laundry. Easy ride into Austin and all major sites.

Centrally located in Round Rock. Easy access to I-35, clean rooms, good internet access, and friendly staff. Front desk was very helpful in locating various areas of Round Rock as our trip there was to purchase a home in the area. Was there just as Texas was coming out of hiding from the Covid-19 shutdown and restaurants were starting to open up nearby. A/C was a little noisy but we got use to it.

Neat and tidy, friendly and professional staff, quiet and comfortable room, great breakfast...reasonable rate., easy access on and off from Interstate 35. All the boxes are checked...definitely recommend !!!

*Truck parking is available in the Sherwin Williams parking lot,30 yds away* Our room was extremely clean, well appointed & had everything you could possibly need. Stayed 3 nights & housekeeping was very, very efficient. Slept well on their comfy beds with 4 pillows each & crisp linens. Quiet & respectful guests and a good hot breakfast. Can't ask for anything more. Thank you so much.

I was traveling northbound on TX I35 when I made a last minute reservation. Normally I don't stay at properties she where your door is on the street but, in all honesty; this hotel was so clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff where so friendly and helpful to me. I was truly and pleasantly surprised because I had always avoided this style of properties. It is truly my pleasure to recommend this Best Western!!

This is an old facility but it has been remarkably refurbished and brought back to life and exceptionally well maintained. I read many of the reviews and decided to give it a shot. I'm am so glad I did! Best rate on the boulevard, room and decor are fabulous, comfortable bedding, easy parking, grounds and general appearance were excellent. You will not regret your visit here.

I travel a lot for business. Stayed in many hotels, most are adequate but this particular hotel was very good. It started when I called the hotel and spoke with Angel. Angel is a pleasant employee that was informative, engaging and helpul. Most hotel associates do not care, only there to collect a pay check and will do the minimum to get by. My experience with Angel was a delight and througout my stay (a week), the other members of the staff responded in same manner. The hotel was clean and nice, no odor and my stay was very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again. To the manager of this hotel; you are lucky to have employees that actualy care when not being monitored.

Check in was fine. Room was clean, Light near sink would work sometimes. Internet connection was good. The noise inside the room from the parking lot and interstate was loud. The hot breakfast was a joke unless you want to chase down someone to get waffle batter then ask for syrup to be told "we have no syrup, the truck has not run".

My Aunt, who owned several motel/hotel properties, once told me that in the Russian Roulette game of choosing a place to stay for the night, Best Western is ALWAYS a safe bet. I have found her advise to be sound. Best Western motels are always clean, and offer great service for a fair price, as well as a comfortably decorated room.

This hotel was perfect for my weekend trip to Round Rock, as I was gone most of the day and just needed a place to shower and sleep. The room is slightly outdated, as evidenced by ripped, old carpet along the baseboards, as well as a mild musty smell. The bed was VERY comfortable and the bathroom/vanity was very clean and accommodating with necessities. The Wifi didn't work very well and the TV required some toggling to work properly, but overall it got the job done for a good price. The continental breakfast had everything you'd need for a quick bite, and the staff were very courteous! Would definitely return in the future, as long as I don't need perfect internet connection.

Never had any issues during my stays 3 years now. Ive stayed at the Galveston Best Western and at the Round Rock Best Western Hotels and both were excellent in service and easy access back into the city.

Was assigned a smoking rm. Booked a NON smoking rm. got it changed but not before the clerk told me "because" we booked 3rd party! NO HOT WATER for 3 our our 4 day stay. Did not fly to Texas for cool showers everyday! New of problem when we checked in & neglected to inform us. Phone in room did not work. Clock was not set to correct time and was impossible to reset it. No fruit at breakfast. One day there was NO water at all.

What started as a temporary living situation for work, turned into a place I called “home” a few times. Thanks to Ladonna, MJ, Angel, Chrysta, JL, and Shelby, the stay was amazing and seeing one of their beautiful faces every morning at breakfast brought a smile to our faces. When ever I'm back in Austin area I'll be sure to stay at this hotel in particular because the people who work there care deeply about the customers. Thank y'all!

Great place to stay, friendly staff, good breakfast, great selection of breakfast foods, easy On/0ff for IH35 and outlet mall is close by, great restaurants close by, The place across the parking lot has great food.

Staff very helpful. Owner of franchise is assumed to be tight with their money. Room was clean and well decorated, stocked with expected things. However, the shower control needed replacing, the carpet had a big tear, the internet wifi didn't work even after calls to the technician for two days I stayed there and the tv was local Austin cable instead of a subscription to a national service. The local cable channels take forever to change and have a very clumsy channel menu as well as no way to choose channels from the menu that I could see. The food was delicious but only one choice of hot items. My stay was ok, nothing to recommend about.

In case you missed it when picking the accommodation like I did, this is a motel, not a hotel. It is a highly rated motel with a friendly staff. But it is still a motel. It still has doors that open on the outside, leaving this single female traveler to feel uncomfortable. I don't like the idea of some being right outside my door. I don't like cars honking their car horns when they lock the doors all night long. I don't like hearing the big trucks starting their diesel engines early in the morning. Also, I don't like seeing a trail of something, that mind tells me is blood, leading across the length of the room, from near the door to the sink. Maybe it's not blood, maybe it is something from a nasty spit cup, who knows! No matter what it is, it's gross. Hopefully with this post it can be cleaned for the next traveler. I would have expected the maid to flag the room for cleaning prior to letting a guest (me) stay in it. btw, they have smoking and non smoking rooms.

Our home away from home! We,ve been staying at the RR Best Western for years. Service, facilities and customer care is consistantly the best. The pool was open and wonderful! Pristine, well cared for and warmed by the hot Texas sun! Round Rock is close to Austin proper making it our first choice when we are at Texas Democratic and/or TX capital legilative events. When we travel to South TX, RR is a good halfway point from Dallas. Rates are much more reasonable than in Austin. Great Restaurants nearby, close to the Dell baseball

Good stay. Was a little surprised to see the rooms were set up like a motel and not a hotel but other than that rooms were nice, breakfast was good. We booked about 10 rooms for our football team and didn't have an complaints.

Have stayed here several times. Always clean. Breakfast is good. Fresh and replenished when needed. Office is very helpful and remember me from earlier visits. Close to Austin but cheaper than in Austin. Will stay there again when in Austin area.

I was in town to attend a family memorial lunch for late uncle. I had two reservations one with points , one with cash for the next day. The front desk quickly and efficiently took care of that, this is extremely well kept older hotel with a great staff. Close to everything Austin has to offer. I recommend it to all.

An older but well kept motel. Friendly and staff. The price is reasonable for Austin. A twenty minute drive to Austin and close to most attractions. A number of restaurants nearby. I heartily recommend it.

Really good hotel, right off the freeway 35, easy access to the north part of Austin and really close to the Round Rock outlets. Great service and good helpful staff. The breakfast had a variety of options

Awful. There's a reason there aren't any photos of the exterior other than than front doors and the pool. I had no idea it was a motel. As a single female, I would have liked to have known this prior to my visit. My door had been kicked severely in the past (1st sign), and the room was dark, dank, and so mildewy that I bought a candle to burn. And having exterior doors, it's impossible to block out the noise of people parking, slamming doors, talking, etc. As I had three more nights in Austin and had plenty of work to do on my computer, I checked out the next morning and have moved to the Best Western Plus in Plugerville, (which is like the Ritz Carlton in comparison)! I couldn't imagine working in that room. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, which is why I gave a 2 instead of a 1. Not my cup of tea.

Great place to stay, easy on/off hwy. Had housekeeping service daily and they did an awesome job replacing coffee and soaps. Wish they would've left more towels tho since there was 3-4 of us staying in the room. Front desk staff was awesome, breakfast was always the same, wish they could change it up a bit. But everything was clean and presentable. Last night we were there, a couple of families let their kids run wild and the pounding and up and down got a lil crazy at 11pm at night so had to call front desk and it was handled right away. We washed a load of laundry while we were there for the week and our clothes smelled as if they'd not been washed at all. I think the washers need to be cleaned, there were road crews staying at the same time and my clothes smelled like their sweaty gross clothes after working all day. I had to put our clothes in a trash bag and wait till I got home (FL) to rewash them. Overall, great stay...

We were in town for a basketball tournament and stayed here one night. It was decent for the price, more of a motel than hotel because of outdoor entry to rooms. Room was clean and accommodated several groups of players with the hot breakfast! TV didn't have a signal for a while but someone came to fix it quickly & no issues after that! If not looking for anything extravagant then it will suit just fine for $139/night.

Hate to say it, but describing this as Executive Suites is a lot overstated. As described it is an older property that has been renovated, but it is more equivalent to a motel. The small room was clean but had a musty smell and the small table was not really convenient as a work station as there was not any electrical plugs close to it. Having said that, the small pool was perfect for the kids to cool off, and the full, serve yourself breakfast was good. And the staff was very nice and added positively to the whole experience.

Hard to find a place to park. Very small spaces. Wonderful staff. Modern look to hotel lobby. Rooms have been refreshed. Old style air conditioner at window blew drapes up. Had to find someway to weight them down. Shower heads rings, in both rooms, were not attached to wall. Breakfast bar attendant is friendly and helpful. Breakfast bar what you would expect. More convenient than finding a place for breakfast.

We not only had a nice size room with all the amenities but the staff was amazing. The breakfast was very good & nicely set up. Enjoyed our stay. Ease in getting to and from our local destinations. Were somewhat disturbed by the odor in the room & the fact that the Smoke Alarm had been pulled down from the ceiling & had no batteries in it.

Best Western is where I stay when I travel, if available. This visit was great as I was offered early check-in as well as speedy check-out considering my allowed time. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Every day I received greeting from every staff I encountered. I had not ever been to Round Rock and the staff was patient in helping me navigate my way around to my conference and dining. The breakfast was always varied and ample. My stay at this Best Western made my travel stress free.

I Like too stay at best western on I-35 in roundrock. Ladonna and the rest of the staff are the great. Rooms are like brand new. Very quiet surroundings. Very nice all you can eat breakfast bouffe. Best value for your money. If you dont give it a try you loose.

We came to Round Rock to visit family and we were on a budget. I found this one online and loved the price. The reviews were some of the best in the area and the price we paid was well under what I expected. Now the rooms were not updated or fancy, but they were very clean and the pool area was very nice

I am a local resident - this is our R&R spot. The staff are always very welcoming. Several good eating spots and just a few miles from a major shopping outlet. Met the manager several times because she is always there to help her FANTABULOUS TEAM !!! It seems like customer service is rare - but these ladies have been consistent. Problems resolved ASAP. .

The manager and crew at this hotel are the nicest people! They really care about the comfort of their customers! My husband loves their cookies. They called our room each night to tell him the cookies were ready! They even saved some one night when we were out! This is just an example of their attention to detail. The hotel is located near restaurants and shopping, Austin and Georgetown. I only stay here when I'm north of Austin!

We stayed at Best Western, which was 10 miles from the 2-day event that was actually held at another hotel. We had to drive a bit more than the ones that stayed at the hosting hotel, but Best Western had a better price and included a hot breakfast, refrigerator, microwave, and wifi. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast had a good selection and it was clean and had fresh fruit. The room was nicely decorated and clean and the bed was comfortable.

It is a nice hotel with adequate amenities, a pool, a jaccuzi, birds enjoying the calm surrounding next to the highway, very good bar (lots of whisky). However be careful on uneven steps at the stairs and good luck figuring out which floor is really that floor (they connect to each other with a ramp). I almost cried not finding my room (exhausted and heavy luggage).

We booked based on reviews. We were disappointed, but our own fault. This is definitely a 2 star hotel. Adequate, but really lacking in amenities! Towels, well, they smelled bad. Sheets were not good. Bedspread definitely needed washed. Old hotel. We were comfortable. Mexican restaurant next door was wonderful. Just not what we wanted. Lots of workers around outside doors. No dog area. Lots of trash.

My fiancé booked this hotel for my Dad and me. The three of us had previously been staying at another hotel but we found ourselves in Austin, TX for the two busiest weeks of the entire year (South by Southwest music festival) due to a family emergency. Without exaggeration, every single hotel was at full occupancy and the rates were also triple. The day my fiancé left, we were scrambling to find another hotel for just the two of us. Our needs were simple - clean and quiet, with Wifi, and not too far from the hospital. When we arrived in the lobby, I was barely holding it together. Tears were streaming down my face as I took another phone call from the hospital. My Dad tried to check us in and there was a discrepancy in rates since we had booked online. The hotel itself actually was offering a lower rate. We had no idea how long we would be in Austin, things were hour to hour, and our expenses were already racking up. Jael, the front office manager, was our saving grace. She has this calming, serene and professional presence and beautiful smile. She so patiently helped us check in and found us a nice, clean, and quiet sanctuary which was our home base for the next week. Regular room, 2 queen beds, on the second floor. She came around from behind the desk and gave me a big hug. I can't tell you how even the smallest act of kindness like Jael helping us with the rates, checking in, and the hug made the biggest difference in the world to us. We were barely functioning - eating, sleeping, etc., it was all a struggle. Jael then went and told the general manager, Ladonna Whitson, our story and introduced us. We didn't know how many nights we would be there, etc. and this was already our third hotel due to the music festival. Ladonna reassured us we could stay as long as we needed and would accommodate early/late check outs and gave us her card. Each morning, Jael, Ladonna, and staff greeted us with big smiles and would inquire how we were doing. They would always ask what they could do to help. On the second morning, my Dad had a question and went up to the desk. Jael had a gift for him with pink and purple tissue paper sticking out from her and the staff. My Dad was confused as our hospitalized family member was male. Jael said, "No, it's for your daughter." I included the gift in the pictures. The most thoughtful card, lavender bath balms for relaxing, and a lavender candle. I have since bought the exact same candle, I loved it so much. Another day we were under the gun to get some very important medical records and applications faxed ASAP. Jael and Ladonna to the rescue. We used the computer in the lobby to print what we needed and they faxed everything we needed in record speed. I am finishing my doctorate degree and had to connect online for a teleconference while we were at the hotel one afternoon. The internet suddenly went out - in the entire Round Rock area. I picked up the phone and Jael was on it. When she realized the internet still wasn't working when she reset the WiFi, she immediately called the internet company and had them send someone out immediately to get the hotel back up and running. There were so many daily acts of kindness from the staff who cleaned our rooms and the breakfast area (Thank you, Vianey, you do an amazing job!) to another staff member from the front desk who lent me a toiletry item out of her own purse during the night. It is clear the leadership and management in this hotel is top notch. We will never be able to repay the kindness you showed us at one of the most terrible times of our lives. I chose this hotel based on the positive reviews, and it's true the staff were all extremely nice and helpful, but I wish I had noticed that there are outdoor corridors (I feel this should be clearly noted for women who may be traveling alone and arriving at night), and even though my room was among those furthest from the highway, it was fairly noisy for me. I woke up several times during the night hearing creaking sounds and the highway noise, and I don't usually wake that often. Bed and towels were clean, bed comforter and TV were very nice, but otherwise the room was basic. Sheets seemed thin or worn. Very easy and convenient check in. I think it would be a good inexpensive option for those who don't find the above issues a problem.

I booked a room with a King sized bed through Hotels.com. When I checked in, I was told they didn't have a room with a king sized bed due to a plumbing repair that had been done in the room earlier that day and a visible patch in the ceiling where the repair had been done. I asked if there was a danger from the repair, and was told no. I asked if there was an unpleasant odor in the room and was told no. I asked if I could just have that room, and was told they wouldn't put a guest in that room unless the "had to". I had prepaid for the room and book a room with a king sized bed and I guess that wasn't what they would consider "had to". So, I dealt with the double queen room. It was very disappointing, as my husband and I had one night away, and had chosen Best Western because we had previously had good experiences with them. I will never go back to this Best Western again. And I will think twice before I book at any other Best Western.

The room was comfortable; clean, and made up every day; clean towels, beds made, trash removed. The breakfast had well prepared scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon (different days). The office staff was helpful. The phone in the room didn't work properly, but we reported it to the management. We would stay there again. Location is good too--within walking distance of a steak house and a Mexican restaurant--both very good.

Excellent place to stay. Checked in about 1am and the person on duty was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend this location. I would stay there again no problem. It was quiet also.

I only get the chance to come to Austin as few time a month, and this was one of the best hotels, I have stayed in a while. When I asked the young lady behind the counter if I could have a room on the bottom floor, she not only gave me a bottom room, but one that had been newly remodeled. This hotel was all around great....The staff is fast and efficient. The room was very clean, and the bed was huge!!!!!! lol....I will stay there every time I come back to town. The pool was beautiful and blue. If it was summer I would have went swimming....Didn't get to make breakfast but the restaurant next door was very appealing, wish I would have ate at the hotel.

Outside needs major work. Room was ok. There are much better Best Westerns. The front desk was extremely helpful, as the key didn't work and it was pouring rain out. He came out to help and ended up getting me another room and key. Very thankful to him.

We needed a place near Seton Hospital Williamson due to a loved one being very ill there. This was great because it was a short drive through back streets avoiding crowded interstate. The place was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plenty adequate.

My wife and I go to see the grandkids fairly often. We stay at this hotel. It is close to our families home and offers a great nights sleep with the kids very close. The location is convenient to Round Rock and Austin (right on I-35). You cannot beat this hotel.

Five Stars for staff of this Best Western. The entire staff goes out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. The Breakfast Bar was well presented & had a lot of variety & choice. The Front Desk Staff were above average in courtesy & gave great professional attention to their lodging guests. Even though the actual facility is a bit older than the typical Best Western the outstanding staff & awesome breakfast bar make up for the age & location. Nice option to more expensive hotels in Austin. Good location right off expressway -- area with many restaurant options. Our stay coincided with a significant number of construction workers and trucks -- a bit noisy at times. Not sure if this is a standard. Great staff and housekeeping. Breakfast can use a little variety for those who have an extended stay.

Our apartment ac went out and we were not able to get it fixed. Called and they were able to get us into a room on the first floor, which was perfect since I had 3 children, and they met the price i had on orbitz. Got there and the front desk worker Cheryl got us checked in quickly and helped me get to our room. She even made sure the ac was on and working for us. We immidiatly showered off and went to bed. Kids slept like rocks all night! The breakfast was delicous, the waffles are by far the best.

I was very impressed with this hotel from my first call to the time I checked out. I reached out to the hotel before my arrival and Jael was very sweet and made sure that a room would be ready for me. She mentioned that I did not have to check out in person since I paid through Priceline but that she would love to say goodbye before I leave. The accommodations were great but that A/C does get blocked by the curtains so maybe consider placing magnets or some type of heavy metals in the curtains so they stay down. There was no hot water upon arrival after a quick dip into the pool but maintenance was on that right away. This is a very well managed hotel and hopefully I will visit agiain soon. Even though an outdoor corridor property, still it was safe and all I needed was an extra Teddy Bear. Loved room 127 and the vicinity of everything nearby.

Very good, needs a few little things to make it excellent. Needed an "accessible" room. My wife has had two knee surgeries and a hip replacement. Although she is not in a wheel chair, our room had doors wide enough for one. Toilet was a tall one. The one problem we experienced was with the shower/tub. She has trouble lifting her feet/legs very high and the standard tub was extremely hard for her to get in. A walk-in tub/shower would have been much better. Stephanie was at the desk on Sunday afternoon. EXCELLENT! Give this lady a raise.

We have lodging at the Georgetown ranch. But stay at the Best Western Executive Inn, Round Rock because it is just fun. It is located near Good resteraunts and my ex wifes house so I have a good laundry service. Its only 15 minutes from the Rockin S Ranch at IH 35 and the toll road. They have B-BQ contests exerey sunday evening after church.

This is nice for a 3-star Motel. While it has been remodeled nicely and has many amenities it is still a Motel. We were in town for one night and it was suitable for our purpose. The beds were comfortable and room was clean. We didnt swim however the pool looked nice. On the other hand it has the window unit a/c which has the unavoidable mold smell covered by the perfumed smell often used in older motels. Unfortunately my husband is very allergic. If you have this allergy do not stay at this Motel. Had it not been for this smell we might stay again when passing through Georgetown. Also entrances are on the outside so if you prefer the security offered by indoor entrances of a Hotel do not stay here. Most of one side of the parking was blocked by three semi tractors. I would recommend this Motel however just know it is not a 4-star Hotel as we were lead to believe on line.

Came to visit retired friends and scope out possible retirement property. The facility was extremely clean and quiet; making for an enjoyable stay. Pamela was extremely helpful. Upon check-in there was was a problem with the lock key reader to my room. She quickly made a room change and notified maintenance of the issue without any delay ito my check-in. She followed up making sure my accomodations were met with satisfaction. I had further helpful conversation during my 2-day stay. Pamela gave me tips for eating establishments and local stores used and enjoyed during my stay. She provided me some insight to the local housing market giving me suggestions to posible areas for purchase. She informed me of the local amenities, police, fire and school information that was very helpful. She even contacted her realtor on my behalf to confirm some of the info. Her bright smile and friendly demeanor while providing this info unsefishly was very useful. I will definely stay here again on a return trip. Pamela greeted our family, made sure we had parking for our Uhaul, and Travel Trailer. She helped us order dinner with delivery to the room. Her customer service was amazing! Our dog was with us and our room was super clean, beds comfortable, and everything was updated. Jared was also super nice and in the morning we met Stephanie who helped our kids with the waffle maker. Great complimentary breakfast too! Pamela, Jared and Stephanie were all Rock Stars! Great experience moderate Hotel. Staff is super helpful breakfast is always great and Before Time that you're comfortable rooms are awesome air works good. The pool great and always clean. They have smoking rooms which is a plus for me because I'm one of those horrible people that smoke but it is very very convenient.

A nostalgic "motel," with the doors on the outside, but contemporary inside. Slightly expensive perhaps, for what we got, but an overall pretty good place, plus we're Best Western members. A handy location for us and a good Tex-Mex restaurant next door (we were given a discount coupon to use there). The continental breakfast was fine, and the people at the front desk, most times young women, have been personable. During our last stay, in May 2017, we noticed that the bathroom floor looked a bit old or could stand to be scrubbed a little better, but that wasn't a huge issue for us. (Note: Tripadvisor may only go back to June 2017, but our most-recent stay was actually May 2017.) What we don't like is 1) when we first visited, several months before our last visit, the person at the front desk wouldn't honor our senior discount that we had received during our online booking, so we had to give her more money. She insisted that their hotel only gave "AARP" (not just "senior") discounts; 2) we could never get the manager to talk with us. When we next visited the hotel we asked about the senior discount and were told by the particularly professional and delightful individual at the front desk that time that yes, of course, they honor Best Western's customary senior discount. So we asked if she could refund us for the previous discount that we didn't get. She tried to look us up but for whatever reason couldn't find a record for us from the last time. She said she'd have the manager call us later (at home), but we never received a call from the manager. So we phoned the Best Western hotel, again asking for the manager. The person we were talked with, someone different, wasn't the manager but told us we should have taken care of the discount issue at the time, which was kind of maddening, because we tried to. She told us she'd have the manager call us, however; once again, the manager never contacted us. So we then gave up. Thus, when we need to stay in Round Rock or nearby Austin again, I doubt, unfortunately, that we'll stay at the Best Western as we've done before. We're obviously not very important to the hotel's management, nor, apparently, is their senior policy. (It's only a matter of about $10 or so, but it's the principle.)

Good service, great room and good breakfast plus a good location with a reasonable price for Austin, Texas. Nice and quiet and everything worked. Had a little trouble finding the TV menu but once we found it the programing was good.

The room was close by, very clean, and comfortable. Loved the sofa and desk area amenities and the breakfast was nice as well. We checked in late (past 10 PM) and still interacted with friendly staff who were informative and helpful.

Quality staff some of the best I've encountered. Easy access to freeways, restaurant next door with great food. Rooms could use updating, but still a good value for the Round Rock area north of Austin.

The hotel is very nice, and the staff really do there job well, there is one name Pamela that is very friendly and that make you feel at home even when we are not. Also the Manager LaDonna is a big reason we are stay here she has gone overboard to make our stay one that keeps us coming back. The associate that checked us in was polite and friendly. I would say the most pleasant hotel associate I've ever encountered. I liked being able to park next to my room. But, if you arrive too late, you my have to park at the YMCA next door. If you get a room on the west end of the property, you will hear a lot of highway noise. The rooms have been remodeled at sometime, but for our room, the luster has begun to fade. If you are passing through Austin, needing a room for the evening at a reasonable price, this BW may be the one for you.

The stay @ the hotel was awesome GM Ladonna had excellent customer service skills as well as Pamela & Jael. They were splendid to talk to... Hotel nice & clean, also quiet... also Pamela & Jael made some of tha best CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 1 could ask for...& that's a plus...I would recommend this hotel to anyone....5stars hands down!!! Easy to access from the highway but there is a limited parking lot. Breakfast has multiple options and facilities are clean. Enjoyed the overnight. Dog friendly-family area to play with pets next to the ymca.

So well deserved to be the best welcoming host and the service is just as lightening fast!!!! Always fresh cookies when I come in from a hard day's work!! The smiling faces on these people is worth the time to visit an awesome, friendly, hotel!!!!! Mrs. Pamela was so nice and polite, truly outstanding!!! And the G.M. was astounding!!! I always stay here when I travel to Austin. Everyone here is very friendly. You can't beat the rates. LaDonna, Cheryl and the rest of the team go out of their way to make my stay comfortable. I could stay at a hotel closer to my office but I'd rather stay here. This is also one of the few places in Austin that still offer clean smoking rooms.

Decent hotel for a stay near Austin but just outside the city. Clean, quiet room. Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and a few baked goods were above average. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. I'll stay here again when visiting Round Rock.

The staff is always helpful and welcoming. I work mainly in South Austin but choose to stay here. Check in is always easy and they go out of their way to accommodate any requests. You just can't beat the price either.

No pool or workout room. Front desk staff were Great. The road noise is awful and we were woken up by 4 drunk Mexican Bikers at 2 AM, not appreciated. Called an Executive Inn but really a Roadside Inn.

I love this place. All the little touches are awesome and the staff is exceptional. The pillows are so comfortable and the shower head actually has great water pressure. Everything was clean and can't wait to stay here again

This hotel is hazardous to get in and out of,the room smelled horrible, the maid service is not very good and the price is not worth what you get in return. The staff is polite and helpful but it does not make up for the rest. I would have tried to find another hotel, but it was paid in advance.

Had a meeting in Austin Saturday morning at 0900 so drove down the night before. When planning the meeting, the planner apparently didn't consider the fact that this was SXSW weekend. Not being willing to pay $1020 to stay at the W on Friday night, we expanded our search. The best we could do was the BWEI in Round Rock. Not a terrible drive to Austin on Saturday morning but the accommodations left a lot to be desired. First of all, this property is one of the relics of bygone days in that all of the rooms have exterior entrances. Normally not a huge issue but with !35 entirely too close, it was noisy. The room itself was very, very dated. I could practically read a newspaper through the sheets they were so thin and well worn. The bed itself was sad. Ever been in one of those beds where the mattress is worn to the point that everything rolls toward the center of the bed? If this is your thing, look no further than the BWEI. Two towels and not single towel more. And one poor lonely washcloth draped across the towel bar in the shower room. Like the sheets, thin and worn. The one bright spot was the front desk personnel. Cheryl checked us in and went above and beyond in making sure everything was right. Very, very pleasant and helpful lady. So was the nice lady we met upon checkout in the morning. Didn't get her name but very nice lady. I see no reason to ever return.

Stayed here on a trip last week and have to say the staff and service was top notch. Ladonna, Stephanie and Cheryl were exceptional in making sure our stay was as pleasant as paradise. They are pet friendly and have 24 hour security cameras on hotel and parking lot which is an added bonus. Highly recommend them if you're in town and need a nice place to stay.

Random stop on way to SPI...older hotel but in decent shape. Very friendly staff at check in & out. Liked that your door is right on parking lot, no going down long hallways & entrance doors. Beds ver comfy, rooms small but clean. Pillows need improving. Breakfast very good! Would recommend & stay again! Oh...pet friendly but for $15...

The fridge was cleaned with a dirty rag. There were Hair in refrigerator. We didn't put our food in there and all of our food got spoiled by the morning. Noise issues all night starting 2:00 am. - from next door. Then I ended up calling front desk around 4:30 am so at least we could get few hours sleep. That was taken care of. But later, someone just honking their car horn for like straight 5-7 minutes. That was so irritating.

The room is with good size and clean. Car can be parked in front of the room makes it convenient. The only thing I do not like as much is their breakfast. Breakfast is lack of variety and food repeated without making change. I stay 4 nights therefore I have the same breakfast in the 4 days. The juice machine was even out of order in the last day.

One of the best beds I've slept on in any hotel, but the noise from big trucks on the interstate (just a few steps away) was overwhelming and prevented much sleep until very late, when fewer trucks were roaring by. Very competent and friendly staff from the desk clerks to the cleaning staff, who did a great job.

Noisy - can hear all the traffic passing by on I-35 , either the window is not double layer or the door is not insulated well. staircase going down was no even . Breakfast was OK - they do provide scrabble eggs and sausage.

This is a very well run Best Western, I enjoyed my stay and I have a little experience for the last three years I stay 5/7 days in a hotel. The staff seems to be on mission also thought the breakfast was watched over strategically replenished. Good job!

This hotels location was very close to where I was doing business. The room was very quiet, I am a light sleeper so this is very important to me. The pricing was lower than I expected which is great for me being I get per diem from my employer. The staff including Cheryl were very friendly, knowledgeable which made check in and out seamless.

Exceptional service - very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well maintained room - comfortable and very roomy. Very good continental breakfast - cereal, juice, pastries, eggs, sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, etc. The WiFi was a little flakey. Road noise from the service road and interstate. The rooms are older, however have been maintained & clean. I didnt hear anything from surrounding rooms-not all hotels are quiet! i would stay here again. Easy to find....This is the most irritating part of my experience-ive given a review, and i need to write a book for my review to post.

Three friends were here visiting Texas for the first time. The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. The only real issue we had was the water pressure for the shower. There was none and hard to feel clean after a shower that was only a trickle. Rooms were clean and breakfast had good choices. Definitely would stay here again.

Lower tear of Best Western, meaning there wasn't any AHHH Factor, but nice enough. Clean rooms, comfy beds, outside pool, guest coin operated washer & dryer, and pets ARE allowed. We were on the side, that didn't have much in the way of a pet walking area. A 1' wide patch of grass, between a cement wall (parking bumper?) and the restaurant wall next door). I found out later, as I was walking the dog, there was a more ample pet walking area, on the other side. Mmmaybe give the guest with pets THAT SIDE of the hotel? Just a thought.

Very good experience with a great location for the purpose of our stay. Would recommend that they make inspections of their fire extinguishers and check on the electrical outlets in the rooms to ensure proper functioning.

Excellent staff. 20 minutes from UT and not one problem. Loved the TEXAS shaped waffle you make yourself with pre-measured batter!!! Easy check in and check out. The room was nice and clean and a newer TV.

Great hotel and the icing on top is Cheryl. This young lady is a great asset to this place. She provides the red carpet service to every guest. Great staff! My go-to hotel in Austin. My youngest daughter loves talking with Cheryl. Everyone there recognizes us and is very helpful. A very pleasant place to stay. Everything you need is very close by.

The Texas heat was killer but the hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful and put out a decent breakfast the morning we left. Pool was clean and a welcome relief to the 108 degree heat!

Very friendly staff that go out of their way to accommodate guests. One of the best experiences I've had in dealing with hotel staff. Easy access to the hotel. Near plenty of shopping and restaurants.

Very restful trip. The staff was great and enjoyed the morning breakfast. The room was clean and convenient. Air-conditioning worked great and room was quiet. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel. The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly and quick to respond when we had requests, and the location is quite convenient to local restaurants and entertainment.

Older hotel. Found food crumbs on the floor in the guest room. Room also had a musty smell to it. Breakfast was ok. Typical waffles. Eggs and bacon, which was sitting in grease, tasted old Good for a one night stay.

Made a short quick trip very pleasant. Nice staff, nice room, easy access location. Would stay there again. My meeting was in Round Rock, TX which because of this hotels location was a quick ten minutes up the highway. It had a steakhouse and Mexican food place within two minute walking distance. Yes, I would recommend this motel.

The Best Western in Round Rock is awesome. I have stayed in lots of hotels, but this one stays number 1. Ladonna has done an excellent job in training the new employs and continuing with her great customer service.

No regrets here, friendly staff. Baked us some fresh cookies! Only drawback is there was no shade in the pool Area on a hot day and we could not put up the umbrellas. Did not contact front desk for assistance. Good breakfast. Texas shaped waffle!

The hot breakfast and daily papers are great and the internet access was easy to use. The property was clean and well kept. I wish every hotel I stayed at was this clean and the staff was this considerate and helpful!

Again Best Western staff (Thank you, Stephanie and Cheryl) - honored our request for a room downstairs and side closest to the grassy area for our little dog. The rooms are clean, fresh smelling and the rates are good, and of course they accommodate pets. We stay here about 4 times a year, and the staff have always been courteous and the rooms have been clean. Thank you, Best Western.

Great place, friendly efficient staff. Clean pleasant rooms. Good breakfast. Only problem is entry. It opens on to a major interstate and sometimes at rush hour it is difficult to exit safely on to the access road. Laundry is clean and accessible. Pool looks great, but I don't swim so I didn't use it.

Wow. I stayed here just a few months ago and it was loud then too. The freeway noise is O.K. but the customers are noisy. If you are a smoker you are going to get a nasty room, so just opt to smoke outside. Why even offer smoking rooms if they are going to be that dirty and uncared for? The noise was so bad from our 'neighbors' that when my room was changed, it was like night and day in terms of freshness. There has to be some kind of common sense training with front desk. If a female and child are traveling and made it quite obvious they were alone and touring the city....smushing them between two party crowds is probably not the most sensible. We checked in a three p.m. so it is not as if they were all assigned yet. Get over the power trip and give people a good experience.

The exterior entrances and horde of smoking, shirtless men I had to pass by had me questioning my choice upon my arrival.My room was not not up to normal BW standards, the area near the wall between the bed and nightstand looked like it had never seen a vacuum and the dark bed toppers were super questionable. After sticking it out for two nights, finding a cricket in the bed was the final straw. We moved to new hotel right away and don't plan to visit BW again in the future.

We had a great family vacation here. Th2r breakfast was great. Kids loved the sausage. Cheryl and Jael made our stay extremely pleasant. We will be back the next time we get to Austin. Thanks Cheryl for a lovely visit.

That right there takes this hotel a head and shoulder above others for me. I come to my room in the afternoon and can literally walk to the YMCA from there which gives me access to a number of swimming pools, gym and others.

The hotel was great it was the noise that made it not so good. During the day we had no noise but at night it seemed they came and went most of the night cars and truck and people moving around make noise.

Stayed here July 4th and had a nice stay. They are pet friendly, and didn't charge a lot for a pet fee. Had a very nice room, large with comfy king bed. We left too early to do breakfast, but overall was a nice place.

Our last motel stay on our move to Georgetown TX from Upstate NY was absolutely the best. Cheryl, LaDonna (the GM), and Jael all go out of their way to accommodate guests and make them feel welcome. And that feeling extends through the entire staff, a sure sign of a well-run establishment! The pool area was gorgeous, there was a nice grass area to walk our dogs and a really good Tex-Mex restaurant next door. Cannot recommend highly enough for dog owners needing a convenient place to stay.

My one-bed room cost $75 a day, which was ok. King bed. Wifi was good during the day, but went in and out starting around midnight. Doors don't close right on their own, you need to pull/push them usually. The workers were very helpful.

We had a nice experience here with very friendly staff. We left some items behind and they were turned in. The manager is making arrangements to have them sent to us at our expense but that is not a problem for me. We didn't eat breakfast there. I did recommend that a hand rail be installed on the pool steps in my survey from the hotel.

The hotel is in a good location and always very clean. The staff goes out of their way to meet your needs. We return to this hotel every time because it is always clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of space for walking our dog and good places to eat nearby.

I come to this property occasionally, just to get out of my apartment. The property is clean, amenities such as toiletries, towels and coffee supplies are always well stocked. The guest in the room next to me played the TV loudly, which came right through the wall where the head of my bed was, but other than that, it was an enjoyable stay

items were not fixed in hotel, such as plumbing, electrical, ice machine. Buffet items need to be changed up. Sink was clogged for 2 days, they finally allowed us to move to another room...they did not have a luggage carrier, and no one helped. My husband just had a back surgery, so I had to do it all. No compensation was offered or express check out. We are extremely disappointed in this hotel!

When I first walked in the door Cheryl welcomed me with a smile. We were on our way from Dallas to San Antonio for my daughters birthday and decided to rest for the night. Not only did we get some rest, but Cheryl was so professional from the greeting to letting me know some useful information about the Reward Program. Definitely staying there again. Thanks Cheryl :)

This is my fiancé and I's third stay at the Best Western in Round Rock TX. Cheryl recognized us as soon as we walked in and gave us a great Military rate. We also worked with Jael and Stephanie who were all so welcoming to us! Love this place will not stay anywhere else in Round Rock!

Was very pleased with the stay. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel room was super clean. The beds were comfortable for hotel beds. The doors face outside but it was really quiet and I felt safe.

Such a nice friendly place with comfortable surroundings and great restaurants nearby. Easy access to all roads. Ask for Cheryl...she will be sure you find something good to eat! The Mexican restaurant on the left side of the hotel is also good.

Excellent Stay. Jael Rocks!!!! This hotel is right where you want it to be for the "just Passing Thru" traveler. Hostess Jael will totally take care of you and the hotel is a great stay in every way. I have stayed here before and will stay here again any time!!

Cheryl was very helpful and friendly but the hotel needs updating and it has doors that face outside they need to remodel and have indoor doors but I stay only one night I also don't like shampoo and conditioner pumps connected to tile Need to have small shampoo and conditioner bottles

Check-in went very well, Desk Clerk was very friendly and the process went quickly. Hotel was very clean, bed was nothing to brag about, but everything else was more than adequate. Breakfast was good, waffles were best, eggs & sausage were good, remaining selections looked to be good also (cereal, yogurt, bread & pastries, etc.) Didn't have time for pool or other services. Overall pleased with our stay.

Very nice n clean. Breakfast good, hot and cold... and coffee. Cheryl was super nice and helpful. Pet friendly, so we got to make some really cute four-legged friends. We meet some very fun/nice people in the visit as well.

I stayed in the Best Western for one night and it was already around 10 PM when I made the reservation, due to the Extended Stay motel I was supposed to stay in being completely awful. The room was very clean and competitively priced. Also Cheryl the front desk lady was very nice and helpful with everything I needed. I highly recommend staying at this motel!

Couldn't have asked for better service. Lobby staff exceptional and good bed. Had all necessities. Fridge cold and room temp comfy, Lobby staff very helpful and nice. Good breakfast-will stay again! Good place!

We were greeted with very friendly customer service when we arrived. Quick check in with recommendations for local food options. The room was clean and the AC worked well. It was quiet and conveniently close to our meeting. We had a quick check-out as well.

The staff is what makes this motel an oasis. Ladonna is most accomodating . Our initial plan was to stay 4 days but problems arose and we requested another 3 to 4 days if necessary. No problem,we were told . Just let us know in advance when you plan to leave.The ladies who work with Ladonna, Jael and Cheryl , go out of their way to make you feel like family. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.The property is well maintained and convenient to the expressway thus avoiding time wasted in traffic.We would certainly recommend the Best Western Executive Inn as a good value.

My family stayed at the hotel four nights. The good aspects were: 1) Cheryl was just as nice as everyone stated in the reviews. 2) Great location between Round Rock Doughnuts and Salt Lick BBQ 3) Breakfast waffles shaped like Texas! 4) Good price 5) Clean room The Not So Good: -1 the old brown carpeting -2 our room had the most cloying,sweet, overbearing fragrance. Everyday I requested that no fragrance be sprayed but even then the smell never dissipated. My friend was in a room down the corridor and her room also had this sweet fragrance sprayed over a moldy scent. Whatever it was , it was unpleasant. Each night we returned to the room we would keep the door and windows open for a while. A woman traveling alone could not do that.

Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds and excellent staff. Cheryl and Stephanie can't be beat, they are amazing!! Housekeeping is good and rooms are spacious. It's just a great place to stay in the area.

I stayed 2 nights here at the BW Executive Inn in Round Rock and for a 2 star hotel it exceeded all expectations. It's an older property they have taken care of and seem to care about. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms with nice beds, tv's, refrigerator, and shower. Great for the price and convenient to restaurants and shopping.

Great location, professional friendly staff, reasonable rates. This hotel has movies and several restaurants all within walking distance with an awesome grocery store a 3 minute drive away. Easy access to I35 as well. This is a great place to stay when in the Austin area. You will not be disappointed

My wife and I just moved to Round Rock and needed a place to stay that accepted pets. We booked a night at the Best Western Executive Inn and it was fantastic. The hotel room was clean and comfy but what sets this place apart is Cheryl. She was fantastic, friendly and just an all around sweetheart. I have stayed at fancy hotels and rarely gotten the level of treatment I got from Cheryl. Thanks so much.

I have never met a better front desk receptionist at any hotel.. I am talking ritz carlton, and all the itzy glizy hotels from my travels around the world. Cheryl was super cheerful, accomodative, patient and instantly transformed my mood from a back breaking several hour drive. This was my first time staying at a best western as downtown Austin was all booked and it did exceed my expectations. Definitely best in its class .

Hotel was great, would stay here again in spite of less than perfect location. Staff was very professional and accommodating. Check in. And check out was seemless. Morning breakfast hàd something for everyone.

After a crazy 10 hour drive, my husband, dog, and I finally made it to the Best Western Round Rock. I was immediately greeted by Cheryl and Ladonna. They were extremely kind from the beginning and made me feel so welcomed. As I was checking in, we spoke about best bbq eateries, Texas weather, and directions to see a squirrel statue outside of town (Pearl the Squirrel). I almost felt like a friend rather than a guest! And the room wasabsolutely great for my doggie and us! I extremely recommend this location to anyone looking for kindhearted people like Cheryl and Ladonna! I Had a ruff day. Got rained on while working outside. I was tired, and my clothes were soaked when i arrived to the hotel. I was happy to see Cheryl welcome me like i didnt "look" depressing!!lol She was very kind and helpful and full of smiles. Very professional.

A surprisingly nice hotel right off the highway. The breakfast area was very clean and tidy. The staff was super-friendly. Our family had many, many extra requests, and they responded kindly to each one. Cheryl was awesome! She gave us at least half-a-dozen dinner recommendations and showed us which places gave us a discount because of our Best Western stay.

Cheryl at the front desk was why I gave this hotel a five star rating. Extremely friendly and helpful. She said brand new beds are coming very soon. What a plus! Cheryl looked up menus for us without us even requesting!

Everything was great, after a long days drive, the last part in rush hour traffic no less. It was nice to get off the road and relax, then to have a couple of really nice restaurants close by was a real bonus. We also enjoyed the morning breakfast.

Recently went to Round Rock to visit friends. Stayed at the BW Executive Inn. It was clean, quite and accommodating. Friends spent evening with us at hotel. We were able to visit and relax in a quite peaceful atmosphere. Plan to stay there again on next trip. This was our 4th time to stay at this hotel. The breakfast bar was good with fresh fruit, hot items and cereal. It more than met our needs.

I checked in to this hotel after checking out of another local hotel at twice the rate where I received very poor service and response to a complaint. I called here, and was greeted on the phone by Cheryl, who was extremely friendly and professional, and took care of my on-the-fly reservation immediately instead of transferring me to a reservations line where I could not understand the person on the other end, and where personal service does not matter. Upon arriving, she was incredibly helpful and friendly. Shortly after getting to my room, she called and asked if everything was great, if I needed anything, and let me know that I could call anytime with anything I did need. The rooms are basic, but clean and well-maintained, and I believe have been recently updated. I was told how much of a focus the owners and staff have on customer service, and it shows. I had to make multiple changes to my reservation, as the project I was in town for changed almost daily, and I was greeted with smiles and and a "how can I help you" attitude each time. Danielle was also very helpful in ensuring that I would be able to arrange a very important delivery to the hotel, and was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional as I waited for emails with confirmation of shipment and was adjusting plans. This kind of service and friendly professionalism is entirely too rare, and will guarantee my staying here every time I am in the area. The people you hire and the standards you keep matter in business, and this place gets it right.

I frequently have to travel to Round Rock for work. I was so happy with this hotel and I'm only going to be booking here. Everything was VERY clean. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it.

Nice Clean place to stay with comfortable beds, fridge, microwave and complimentary breakfast, as well as internet. Air conditioning worked well and showers were nice and hot. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. They quickly corrected any problems and made fresh pots of coffee for my husband in the evening. Our first room had a smoke smell when the bathroom fan was turned on, but they moved us to another room, which had no problems. This is near a Special Needs parks (RAAB House) for families that this could be helpful for.

I booked a room at the last minute because I was having some ant problems in my new rental. I read reviews before booking the room but did not look at the pictures carefully apparently because I did not realize the property had the external entry doors for the rooms. I usually do not like those so I was a bit skeptical when I arrived and saw them, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, spacious and updated. I had no problem finding a parking spot even though I did not check-in until approximately 10 pm, and I was actually able to park almost directly in front of the room. The breakfast was good--typical free hotel breakfast but not bad at all. I thought the noise from the highway would disturb me because I am a light sleeper in general, but it actually just sounded like white noise. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay, and I would not hesitate to recommend this property. I would be remiss if I did mention Cheryl and Ladonna, who were both just delightful. They were so genuinely engaging and friendly. If they don't love working at this property, they are excellent actresses. Both Cheryl and Ladonna are assets to this property. Keep them happy so they remain! :-)

I really like this hotel. I stay here every time I work in Round Rock. They are in the middle of a complete renovation of the entire hotel. There are new AC units in every room now (which are nice and clean) and the breakfast area has all new furniture and looks fantastic. Yes, you can still hear your neighbor's TV if they have it cranked up, (the flat-screen TVs are mounted on the wall). I'm sure that the front desk would make a call to room a room disturbing others (just guessing on this - I haven't heard anyone's TV after 10PM). They have no problem with my dog in the room (only certain rooms are pet friendly). FYI - they do have an 80lb. limit on dogs and they charge an extra $10 per pet / per night. Still a bargain compared to boarding prices in San Antonio. I have the ability to take my dog with me to work, so I don't need to leave him in the room during the day, but you can. I have also found out they have a washer and dryer in case your job - like mine - keeps you in town longer than anticipated. The staff is really nice and friendly - whenever I have a question, a quick call to the front desk gets a quick answer - Ladonna told me about the laundry facilities when I asked about a nearby laundromat, and Cheryl (who loves dogs) told me about pet-friendly restaurants in the area.

Hotel Room very clean. The front desk employees were extremely helpful. Cheryl provided a list of nearby restaurant referrals, directions to local destinations, and extra towels with a smile. My room was a non-smoking room.

My uncle was in town visiting and stayed at this location. I was running so late and ended up getting lost so I called my uncle to get directions. Well I ended up talking to one of the ladies in the phone. She was so pleasant on the phone and patient while I kept taking wrong turns. My uncle had waited in the lobby for over 30 mins and they were great company. They have great ideas for activities and just spot on with hospitality. My uncle and I thank you ladies, Jael & Cheryl.

Our room, 118, had a funky smell when we entered. Turning on the A/C did not help. Carpets were also damp. Could hear the TV and telephone conversation from next door...all night. Staff was nice and friendly. Disappointing accommodations. Okay value but won't return

Me and the wife had come for the birth of twin grandsons and had originally booked the Extended Stay just south of this motel.What a nightmare! Do not EVER stay there.If you want the full story on them look at the review I will be leaving about them.As this review is not about them I will stay on track.Cheryl was superb. After the experience we had we were just ready to go home. But after talking with Cheryl and Ladonna, the manager, and seeing the room we decided to stay for more time. Giving us more time with the grand babies.When we go back for visits this is where we will be staying.All the staff were super friendly but special thanks to Cheryl and Ladonna.

I definitely learned a valuable lesson: read reviews before make any hotel reservation! If only I had read the reviews of this motel, I would have found out that it was a motel (outside entrance to all rooms), rather than a hotel (inside entrance to all rooms). First off, the motel personnel who checked me in were very helpful and friendly - I give Cheryl and Jael five stars; the room, however, I give an average 3 stars. The motel is an older establishment which appears to have gone through some updating of room decor. The room that I stayed in was clean, but smelled very musty upon entrance. The bathroom was a bit outdated, but again, was clean. The location is good - in the heart of Round Rock on IH35 and next door to a great Mexican food restaurant! I just prefer to stay at a hotel rather than a motel and certainly would like to be aware of which one I am reserving; therefore, in the future, will definitely read more reviews!

The rooms have a contemporary look and our room was super clean and always a nice place to return after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was very friendly (Cheryl +++) and helpful. The Executive Inn is located close to I-35 and positioned well for visits to Austin, the Hill Country, and Waco. A great value!

I stay here every other week for work. It is a GREAT hotel in Round Rock! Outstanding staff, room is always excellent and clean, also in a great location. Cheryl usually checks me in and does an amazing job, however all the staff is helpful and friendly.

This was a very pleasant Best Western, but further out of Austin than expected, so do your homework. Staff were very helpful, especially as they recommended Ruby's BBQ, just up the road. We are from the UK and this was a very interesting experience! We had a swim, pool towels supplied at reception. No complaints, so that is good.

Spent two nights recently. Under renovation but was not bother by work. Clean and fresh. Employees eager to help to make your stay the best possible. Will return soon. Had room at back of hotel. Had little hiway noise and little noise from stairs outside door.

I had a very good experience staying at this location. The staff is very friendly and polite. Especially Cheryl and Ana. Anything I needed they were more than willing to get or find for me. always polite and cheerful when they were speaking to me.

My only regret was to not stay longer ! Hotel is very well located to visit Austin and the area. The staff was just great. Very professional, they know their business, but also can indicate the "must see" of the area. Very friendly, enjoyable, they were just perfect. We bring our group of 24 people here twice a year and have for the past 15 years. The hotel is convenient to our activities in the Round Rock area but more importantly the staff is always great and we never have issues when we stay here. It's not the newest hotel in the area but convenience and the friendly staff are why we always return. I book everything for the group and never have any complaints from our group.

Cheryl gets 5 stars, sorry about the MOTEL. Our idea of a hotel is one you enter your room from the inside. A MOTEL is one you enter from the outside. When I search HOTEL those are the only results I would like to see. Best western calls this an Executive Inn. I can just about guarantee that no executive in his right mind would stay here. A guest was giving his friend a hair cut on the 2nd floor. The couch in the lobby needed to be replaced. The room smelled musty. One bed was hard one soft. The soap dispenser did not work at the bathroom sink. There was some blackening in the tub grout. Two stars is because the room had all the amenities; blow dryer, iron and board, coffee maker, micro wave, etc. I did not mention the spotty paint patches because the MOTEL appeared to be upgrading.

It was a clean hotel with friendly staff. However it is advertised as a more executive hotel but there are minimal perks. Advertise premium channels like HBO, there's even an HBO guide in the room with no access to that channel. Stay here only if you are passing through, not for a weekend getaway or a luxury spot. Definitely a renovated place that seems it used to be an Econo Lodge or equivalent. Parking close to your room is impossible if you go out for an evening. Breakfast is plentiful but pretty bland. Again, a good bargain hotel, but you do get what you pay for. I would not revisit.

this place is great if you like inn's i don't love inn's the room was nice there was reno's in the lobby wouldn't stay here again but oh well, the reason I dont like inns is because the door faces outside

Our room was clean and comfortable, and the price was very good. But the thing that made the stay most memorable was the special "Round Rock Donuts" that Ana purchased for us! Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will stay there again on our next trip! God Bless!

Checked in and got roses when the clerk found out it was my birthday!! Great staff, room was very clean. We will definitely be staying here again. We were having so much fun that we extended our stay. I recommend this hotel for couples, family and business trips, even solo.

Best Western was a great stay. Comfortable room, good breakfast and easy access to the highway and surrounding shopping or restaurants. The staff was terrific. I was most impressed with the young lady at check in. Cheryl was so polite, and friendly, she was very helpful and accommodating. I appreciate the attentiveness to make our stay as simple and easy as possible. Would recommend to anyone and probably book the next time I'm in Austin.

I can see why there were a lot of compliments of Cheryl; she was helpful and friendly to say the least. Both her and LaDonna offer some of the best customer service you will find anywhere! Comfortable rooms and I like the different soaps and lotions at the push of a button. The breakfast is good and hot. I don't care much for the eggs which seem powdered, but everything was decent. It is a prime location right next to a YMCA and just about everything else you can think of close by. I recommend it and will be staying there often when I come to my Austin business trips.

This hotel has the friendliest most helpful staff I have experienced. Starting when Ana did our midnight check in right through Cheryl staying after work to track down items that my wife had left in the room and then calling us at the San Francisco to let us know they were found and that she will hold them for our next stay in a couple of weeks. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, clean comfortable room and facility, good food and a friendly atmosphere that made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend.

I have stayed in the hotel for 10 days and will be my definite place when i come and stay in round rock. Close to everything needed. Room are vey clean and the staff is really supportive and friendly. This hotel met our needs. The access was easy and it was close to the highway. We were not far from places to eat. The rooms were big enough and nicely decorated. They were clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice.

Being completely honest, the outside doesn't look like much, but it was very clean and comfortable. Cheryl was working the front desk when I checked in and she was extremely nice and helpful. She gave me some great food recommendations and even remembered me when I accidentally locked myself out of my room a few days into my stay. It's got a great location for foodies.

I drove up from a very long drive from Houston, TX. I was greeted very warmly by Cheryl at the front desk. She was very helpful in helping me checkin and find an get a appointment that was trying to get for a long while. The room was very clean, the bathroom had great water pressure with hot water and the Internet was ok it could be better. In all I would stay here again and recommend this place to any of my friends.

Nice Lobby. Average room with old and dirty carpet and not very comfortable bed. Breakfast was really pathetic. It would have been better if they don't offer it. Rotten bananas, canned fruit cocktail didn't even look fresh. Eggs were okay. Cereal, waffle and coffee was good. Service and staff was great.

We have been staying at this particular motel for years and we have never had any complaints about anything. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern, neat and clean. There is a large variety of items on the breakfast and the items are kept warm/cold and are kept replenished. A good location and reasonable rates.

I stay in hotels, cross country about 12 to 16 days per month, on average. While in Round Rock Texas, when I stay at the Best Western, staff members such as re AWESOME. Ms Cheryl, caters to customer needs. She is one of the multiple staff members who will keep me coming back. Quality service along with clean rooms and comfortable beds, and of course the NFL Network on TV, which, is hard to find in hotels, cross country. But, if they only keep highly qualified staff, such as Cheryl, I'll keep coming back, just for her intellectual attitude and down to earth personality. Thanks so much, in the USA, we need more people like Ms Cheryl, great great person overall, great place to stay.

We stayed here on our way to help our son move into his college apartment. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we were on the road again the next morning, glad to have been able to have breakfast quickly and get on the road. When we were an hour away, I got a call from the front desk- housekeeping had found my iPod in the room. They kept it at the desk for me until we came back through a day and a half later. We have left other valuable things in hotel rooms before, and even gotten them back once or twice, but this is the only time the hotel has called to let me know that we left something. We will definitely be back!

All the staff here, from the receptionist on down, were very nice and polite. I would certainly stay here again on business or for pleasure. The Texans here were as nice as you would expect them to be.

If you book this hotel for more than sixty a night, you're wasting money. The staff is great and the amenities are pretty decent, but the rooms are dirty and not worth more than base motel rates. Great location, near food, gas, outlet mall, and grocery, but not so great if you plan to spend a lot of time in the actual room. Dated deco and damp carpets.

My room was clean and in great condition but that's not why they got 5 stars. Cheryl behind the counter was amazing. During check in she gave me the times of the free continental breakfast and of course I said "What no breakfast in bed?". Then when I arrived in my room she called to ask me how my room was and that she would like to bring me something. She came to the door with two paper plates taped together and told me not to open it until morning. The next morning I opened it to find a picture of breakfast on one plate, a plastic fork and a note enjoy your breakfast in bed. A smile is a great way to start a day. GREAT JOB Cheryl!!!!!!!

Nice clean hotel and they left the a.c. where we set it. Ana and all of the staff were great. Good breakfast and nice clean pool. The rooms seem to be recently redone. Also this hotel is in a good area didn't have any problems with parking or things getting stolen. Great proximity to a lot of restraunts also.

This was our first time at this hotel and many years since we stayed at a BW. We had a weekend showcase for our daughter close to this hotel. The staff at the front desk was very good. The room itself was okay. It was clean and was your basic double bed, flat screen, mini frig type of room. The breakfast was good. The quality and freshness was better than other hotels similar in price range. The hotel only had 1 working ice machine though. This was an inconvenience. The other members of the team were also staying there so we had to continue to buy bags of ice on the way to the park. Overall it was a decent hotel for the price.

We have stayed at the Round Rock Executive Inn many times. We have enjoyed the consistently high quality. It is close to Austin, but away far enough from the Austin city limits to avoid the congested inner city. The pool is clean and refreshing. There are many places to eat in the surrounding area. The Round Rock Executive Inn is our home-away-from home!

We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Beds were comfortable, front desk people were helpful, the rooms were clean and it was easy to find. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool. We had a smoking room but it did not smell bad like some smoking rooms do.

Although this trip did not go as we had hoped, our hotel stay was amazing. We were checked in by Cheryl and she was friendly and helpful. Our stay was fantastic due to the hospitality of the staff. We were always addressed by our names and felt like we were old friends visiting. The location is also fantastic for ease travel to the sports complex.

I cannot say enough about this hotel. Our room was spacious, even with 2 teenage girls. Cannot say enough about Cheryl at the front desk. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Our stay was exceptional. We play select baseball and travel a lot but this was THE BEST stay we had all summer. This was the last game of the season and you guys made it awesome. We loved the size of the room and the air condition was and A+ for my husband (He likes it cold). Cheryl was awesome!!! Our games finished early on Saturday and had no idea on what to do for fun. Cheryl gave us many ideas during our stay. Especially going to watch the Round Rock Express!! Yay baseball!! Later we went back to buy snacks from the vending machine and she asked if had enjoyed our evening. There was a gentleman who wanted coffee and she offered to make him a fresh pot. Then asked me if I drink coffee (which I do) and said "there will a fresh pot coming up". Thanks Cheryl for everything.

For our 2 night stay, the hotel room was clean and roomy with extra storage space in both the room and bathroom. Very effective air-con controlled easily in the room. Ample parking. Easy to access off highway. Breakfast presented well with regular top up of supplies. But the very best part of our stay was the exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Every staff member we encountered from the manager through to the housekeeping staff, smiled and spoke with us in a welcoming way. Nothing was too much trouble. Arantxa, Jared and Cheryl at the front desk all provided extra assistance when required at any time of the day or night and then said "let me know if there's anything else I can do for you". Provision of locked security box held at front desk very useful. Excellent value for money.

After staying at a few other hotels in Round Rock it was refreshing to stay at a hotel where EVERYONE is so nice and helpful. Cheryl was awesome because she took the time to call me (on her own) and told me about the Best Western's reward program. She is always so eager to help and will offer to bring what I need TO ME when she isn't busy helping other guests. Other places NEVER do that. She follows up with me to make sure that Im having a great stay. I have extended my stay many times. The rooms are clean, a good size, breakfast is yummy and the housekeeping staff are great too!!

Came here and was very impressed with my visit for the price I paid. Will be staying anytime I'm in the area and in need of a hotel. Cheryl was also amazing and providing me great customer service as well as information about the area. She rocks!

Our room was very cleaning & inviting, beds are a little on the hard side but not too bad. The pool was nice and clean and the continental breakfast buffet was great too! Lots of restaurant's nearby to choose from also. Will definitely visit again!

We have stayed here several time and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always pleasant and professional. This stay the person who checked us in was named Cheryl and she was awesome. The rooms are always clean. The beds are very comfortable and the the breakfast is always good.

I'll start the review by saying that I was specifically asked to write the review when I checked in (7/12/16). Cheryl indicated that this hotel was #4 (I think) on TA and they wanted to be #1. So, I'm doing as I was asked - I'm writing a review. Unfortunately, it's an honest assessment and won't do much to bump this property up the list. We checked in later in the evening - 9:30-9:45. When we arrived at the room (note: this is an all exterior corridor motel), we found our door propped open with a cleaning rag - lights on, A/C blowing with all its might, room temp hovering around 92 degrees. [strike 1] We went back to Cheryl and asked to borrow a fan because the room was unbearable. No fan was available, but she did point us in the direction of a local HEB supermarket where we could buy one. Not happy about the situation, but with no other options, I drove to the HEB - only to discover they closed about 5 minutes before I arrived [strike 2 - you should know the operating hours of any establishment before sending a guest]. Drove an additional 10 minutes to Walmart and spent $30 on a fan I didn't want/need. My room rate just jumped up $10/night [strike 3]. So, with the fan, we were able to tolerate staying in the room...but it was WARM. The next morning, we tried the breakfast. I'm sorry to say it was a disappointment. The 'eggs' and sausage were cold. The pastry was hard and dry. The orange juice tasted like watered down Tang. They had milk and oatmeal, but no microwave in the breakfast area to warm it up. So the lady from the front desk offered to take it back to the microwave in the office (???). She returned with a luke-warm bowl of milk and oatmeal that wasn't hot enough to make the transformation to "oatmeal". [strikes 4,5,6] We left for the day, returned late that evening, hoping our room would have cooled down. Another disappointment. The area nearest the A/C was 'OK', but the cold air couldn't make it back to the bath area - not even with the assistance of the new Wind Turbine fan. So, when showering, we had to (1) leave the bathroom door standing open {no, the exhaust fan in the bath didn't work either} to allow the steam to escape and (2) shower with barely warm water so we wouldn't break out into a sweat before getting out of the bathroom. [strike 7] Not to pile on, but I must also mention the bed. Poor. Even my 14 yr old daughter complained that it was uncomfortable. And she can sleep anywhere. Thankfully, our visit only lasted 3 days. It never got any better. The room stayed partially cool the whole time. There was never any explanation as to why our room door was standing open at check in. We tried breakfast again on day 2 and all agreed it was worse than the day before. By day 3, we went elsewhere and purchased breakfast (bumping our cost/night up even further). [strike ???] The bottom line: this motel simply can't compete with the newer, modern hotels that costs a few dollars more/night. My wife booked this reservation, wanting to save a few dollars, but we won't make that mistake again. There's a Holiday Inn Express 5 minutes away and several other choices in the area. I have to believe there are at least 5-6 options much better than this place.

Room was great. The employees at the front desk, Arantxa and Cheryl were so helpful. They were very informative about what was in the area, an even reccommended a great bbq restaurant . I would definitely stay there again.

Having had a medical procedure while I was staying here. Staff expressed concern as to my well being. Breakfast experience was satisfying with a good variety to choose from. During our extended stay the laundry facility was a welcomed plus. the location is at the hub of activity the Round Rock. Wether dining out or checking out the latest at a movie theater to watching a professional baseball game.

I always stay at the Best Western in Round Rock, Texas. Convenient to locate, close to plenty of places to eat, clean and safe. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Last time Cheryl was especially helpful with directions and suggestions for places to eat. Top rating.

I have stayed here a few times and have always had excellent customer service. Ana was very friendly when checking me in. Arantxa and Cheryl were so nice and helped me with my laundry. Rooms have been clean both times. I'm not a breakfast person but they have a full breakfast buffet. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Round Rock.

When ever we stay in Round Rock we stay at the Best Western. They have a great staff and go out of their way to make it very enjoyable. The Restaurant next door is great too and the location is super convenient. Ana at the front desk is a sweetheart. Thank you!

well great room very clean.I would stay at Best Western again.They have the best breakfast around . You will get a great nights sleep with the great beds they have .Shower head gives you a great fresh feeling afterwords.

Stay here off and on year round, always impressed by Ladonna and staff Ana, Aeantxa, Cheryl always do well to make me feel at home . Lily keeps the place pretty clean. Its location sort of a gateway to Austin and surrounding communities walking distance close to decent Mexican food , and Sirloin Stockade. Easy drive to a host of others. Having access not far to 35, 45 , 79 , 1 and 130 makes this a convenient location for me . Jerod always has coffee ready, sometimes thats kinda early in the AM. Good friendly people go a long way in my thinking as to what makes an enjoyable trip or a better day .

When we first arrived, we were greeted by Arantxa and Cheryl. We had already booked reservations prior to arriving and the process was quick through them. Cheryl explained in detail anything from the breakfast to the check out time info. Also Arantxa helped us out with anything we needed with no problem. Both of them exceeded in excellence as far as customer service. Will definitely plan my trip again and stay at the best western executive inn.

Took a golf trip with some friends and chose this motel because of the vicinity and price. The rooms were nice and fresh. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Ladonna and Cheryl were great with our just coming in and getting disable room we needed for our one night stay on the trip through TX. The Hot Rod Power Tour had passed through and we were on our way to Oklahoma the next morning. Thanks for making it easy

My son and I had a very nice visit. Everyone on-site is very friendly, and all offered any support needed (of which there was only one, which was our fault). Every public area was immaculate, There was constant attention paid, in case there could have been accidents. During this visit, every person working the front desk was very friendly, and helpful. The way attention is given to each person being helped is very nice.

Extremely Comfortable, location was very convenient for travel, especially for exiting and entering freeway and other streets. Location was good for using GPS or ATLAS, I use both. Easy for down town travel, easy and convenient to restaurant choice.

Cons - The air conditioner was fairly noisy. The pool was dirty (floating hair and the a gritty bottom). The breakfast was possibly the worst that I've ever seen. There was no milk (some kind of vanilla soy substitute was offered), the sausage was bathing in a warmer full of grease, and the pre-formed eggs looked and tasted like they had just been taken out of a plastic wrapper and heated up. Lastly (and probably least important), the channel lineup in the room states that HBO, Showtime, etc. are available, but those channels don't work. Pros - The room was clean and there were plenty of towels.

Clean, neat, kept. This is not a high-priced luxury hotel but is very quality. The atmosphere is professional yet down-to-earth friendly. It truly makes you feel as if it's a home away from home. We received the most pleasurable customer service we have ever received from Cheryl. She went above and beyond to take care of ANY customer we saw come in. SHe's truly a top asset if not the reason this hotel is so exceptional.

Cheryl was very friendly when we checked in. The room was clean and nice, surprisingly. This hotel doesn't have a gym but they do let you go to the YMCA and work out. Breakfast was hot and delicious. I definitely recommend this hotel if you're wanting a nice clean room at an affordable price.

Cheryl and Ana were at the front desk when we arrived, both ladies were very sweet and helpful to us. Our room was very clean and spacious. Thank you ladies for a very pleasant stay. The Hot breakfast was very delightful we didn't need to go out to breakfast.

First stay in Round Rock , was in town for a wedding, Best Western proved to be a great location in Round Rock , our first night was a exciting and scary as our room was also booked to another guest who used a key and came into our room , it was a honest mistake ... glad the chain lock was on.. other than that incident it was a great stay.

Cheryl at the front desk so was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. We took her restaurant recommendation "Pok-e-Jo's" and it was delicious. Cheryl also later called to make sure we found our room okay. The rooms are clean and updated so they are aesthetically pleasing. The location is in a safe area for families. The breakfast had several options from fruit to cereal to hot items as well. Overall a nice home away from home for a few days.

Very very clean motel. NEW & soft fluffy towels. Newly redecorated-very tastefully. Good breakfasts. Front desk--LADONNA-professional & helpful when called for directions. Husband left wedding ring on counter-called 2 hrs after ck out-she sent someone Right up to room(hadn't been cleaned yet)-and SECURELY kept it til we could come back!! Our entire 3 nites a pleasure. Only reason didn't get 5 stars-room had a slight odor--opened Windows--went away.

Decided at the last minute to stay over night to see our son ply in the State baseball playoff game. Found the hotel near the fields and called. Cheryl that answered the phone and made our reservation was the best! She was there at check in and again was very good, recommending places to eat etc. Later she called the room to see if we needed anything and brought it right down. Nice clean spacious no frills room which was perfect for what we needed. Several good restaurants in walking distance.

My family and I came to Round Rock for a graduation and decided at the last minute to drive all night to Round Rock from New Mexico. We needed a place to get ready before the graduation started. I called around to hotels in the area and they all said they were full or couldn't help me at the time. Then I called Best Western Executive Inn and a lady by the name of Ana answered and she was happy to help. She helped my family book a room at an early time and she offered us hot breakfast after a long drive. She really saved us a lot of hassle. The rooms were great as well. Great place for a great price. Ask for Ana at the front desk I am sure she will be happy to help :-).

We were welcomed by Cheryl who immediately knew my first name after giving her my last. Remembered why we were in town and asked about our plans. Extremely friendly and helpful. Offered great suggestions for dinner. Even called our room about thirty minutes after we checked in to see if everything was okay and to ask if we needed anything. The guest before us was unhappy and she handled herself very professionally and never got rattled. The hotel over all is good: clean rooms, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. What makes this place stand out is people like Cheryl who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable!!

Came here with a couple buddies of mine for a fun filled weekend. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The ladies who checked us in, Ana and Cheryl, were super friendly. Breakfast was typical of most hotels but it was good, loved the Texas shape waffle. Great price compared to other hotels in the area. Would definitely recommend this hotel ! Nice job ladies !

We are based out of Oklahoma transporting vehicles throughout the south and midwest. Staying at several different chains - best western is our favorite hands down and this location was one of the best. Beds were very comfortable, sheets felt good. Location although next to I-35 was quite. There are restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff, especially Cheryl and Arantxa, were enthusiastic and always took the extra time to ensure my stay was relaxing and my requests were always answered promptly.. The hotel offered a real breakfast (with sausage and eggs). Hotel was situated near the Dell Diamond (AAA baseball), outlet mall and is within a short distance of the Capital.

We checked in last night with Cheryl and Arantxa they where very pleasant. Check in was fast both of the rooms very clean. Later that evening had to call ambulance for my grandfather and Arantxa came to the room right away to ask if I needed anything which I appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel. Pool was awesome. Room clean, very friendly staff. I will back.

There was a mistake with one of the rooms I booked. We had booked several (7 rooms). For one of the rooms, instead of 2 beds, there was only 1. Cheryl and Arantxa corrected the problem fast. There was no extra charge. They were also very friendly and professional. Will definitely do business with again.

The service definitely 5 stars. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Employees Cheryl and Arantxa made sure our stay was nothing less than pleasant. I requested a room change and they did it immediately. I lost my room key a couple of times and they we're more than happy to replace it for me, and always with a big smile.

I love this Best Western! Stayed her for almost 2 weeks a few months ago, and have been on the road 4 of last 5 months. Always disappointed when my destination doesn't have a Best Western. Arantxa at the Front Desk and Ladonna welcomed me back and all the staff go above & beyond with customer service. The location is so convenient to everything a traveler wants or needs too. Comfortable,clean rooms & I feel safe here. The free hot breakfast was great & WiFi fastest I've had on my trip. I was very surprised at how nice the room was, lovely. The breakfast was very good every morning and quite convenient. The staff was top quality people everyday right from the check in. we definitely will stay there again and the location was great. everything we needed was close great restaurants all around us. this hotel was a great value and again a pleasant surprise.

Every time we come here and stay, we get top notch service from Cheryl! She always calls and checks on us, and they are so nice and helpful. We have stayed a few times already and we just live in town! It is a great getaway, and the rooms are very clean, not to mention the breakfast is wonderful!! We give them 10 stars if we could?? Room was clean and comfortable. Lots of TV stations. The price was right. The difference was the excellent service by Cheryl and Arantxa. They called and checked on us once to make sure everything was good, then came personally to make sure all was good. You can't get any better then perfection.

Room was clean and well priced, the front desk girls Cheryl and Arantya hooked us up by pointing us towards the best bbq in texas and that great mexican bar next door. Got me a spare luggage rack and got to take my picture with the biggest horns in the world in the lobby. Thanks girls!!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. One drawback was there were stairs instead of an elevator for second floor rooms. The hot breakfast was adequate and the staff kept the breakfast bar well supplied with food.

The hotel was clean, and the staff was beyond excellent. Cheryl was our contact, first calling her to secure rooms by phone and get directions from the hospital, then a nice welcome when we arrived by her. My sisters and I were traveling alone, and she accommodated our needs in a friendly manner.

I have stayed here many times and have always found the lobby, rooms and grounds to be well kept. But the staff and service I receive is by far what brings we back time and time again. Ladonna never fails to speak to me asking about anything from my drive in to my family. I want stay anywhere where in when in the area.

Cheryl and Arantxa know service with a smile! From booking the rooms to answering questions during the stay, their smiles and helpful attitude made for a great stay in Round Rock. Rooms were nice and clean. An older style hotel from the exterior, but modern inside! A good rate and a great stay!

I stayed on the night of 10th May. The staff here was very friendly and welcoming. I was given a room in the second floor. The room was clean and well maintained. Fifteen minutes after I checked in, I got a call from Arantxa checking if everything was fine in the room (it was). Around 9 pm, I called the front desk to check if I could get hot water for a cup of tea. Cheryl offered to bring it to my room and within few minutes she brought it to my room. Breakfast was typical for hotels in the price range and the breakfast area was clean and bright. Overall I had a very good stay and the customer service by Cheryl/Arantxa made it even better. I would stay here again in my next visit.

Inn was extremely clean and comfortable. Ana and Cheryl at the front desk were friendly and helpful. A nice selection of breakfast items and the dining room was clean and bright. A great experience. We will stay again.

Arrived in the afternoon, walked in and the front desk lady was on the phone, but still smiled and greeted. Being she was on the phone, I listened to how polite she was, during the conversation she said "sorry you feel I'm being hard to deal with" I was like wow!!!! Your being very polite to the person on the person on the other end. She went as far to let the person know that the General Manager will be in and they are welcome to talk to him. Cheryl, your very nice and polite.

Was not pleased with dirty shower (hairs on wall & in tub) and no cable channels. Good thing we were busy most of the time, so we didn't really miss them much. If there is a next time, I will try to select a nicer motel for a cheaper price. I'm sure there are some out there.

Room was neat, clean and orderly!!! However it was and is the front desk staff that made my stay the best! Cheryl helped with directions around the area and hit it without fail every time. Never felt lost! Thank you Cheryl! One of the most knowledgeable and sweetest person ever! Cleaning staff were polite and friendly! Thanks you BW, I will be staying with you again!

The good: very friendly staff who tried hard. Coffee is not bad; breakfast is very typical for this kind of place. The not-so-good: this is a motel, with all entrances outdoors directly onto the parking lot. Lots of construction workers seemed to be staying here. A lot nicer than a Motel 6, but still a motel - and I don't like that layout because I don't feel safe. The bad: right on the highway and noisy. Some sort of work going on with a large truck in the parking lot next door at 11:30 pm, followed by swapping out dumpsters at 5 am.

Exactly what I've come to expect at Best Western- a nice room, comfortable bed and the necessary amenities. Kudos to Cheryl who provided a warm greeting and helpful information. Good location. Liked dispenser type body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

The hotel staff are so warm and inviting. They are genuine and want to make you happy and make sure you are comfortable! This is a great hotel with high standards for its class! We always choose to stay at this particular hotel due to the friendly staff and the pet friendly fees. These perks made our stay worry free, because we felt we were not a burden when we asked for certain things! We wish all hotels were like this one!

I found this hotel for my father, who stayed there May 6th. He'd had a long drive on very little sleep, and really needed a rest before a family wedding. He checked in around 2 pm. but was unable to sleep at all due to the noise from a nearby room being renovated. He returned to his room after the wedding and did manage to sleep decently overnight, but checked out at 6 a.m. He mentioned the noise to the front desk and they were unapologetic and offered nothing. I find this unacceptable treatment of an older person, who had medical reasons that he needed rest. He also told me the breakfast was just not good. Overall he felt it was quite an expensive stay for what little he got.

the front desk check in was the best thing of this place. cheryl was very nice, pretty, and helpful. her tip of a local terry blacks bbq was spot on. the only reason i would want to come back is to talk to her again!

Here's a scenario. You're sitting in the passenger seat. Your wife is driving because you got turned around on a Texas access road trying to find the gas station and got lost instead. She's told you to find a decent hotel and don't screw it up. Okay! Maybe that's not you, but keep reading anyway. You need a clean room with ALL the amenities she could possibly want; even the ones she hasn't told you about yet. You need fast, professional, courteous service from a person who's competent and still likes people. Oh, and a good hot breakfast included with the already very reasonable room rate would be nice too? It's right here! This is your hotel. Cheryl, our receptionist was a delight to deal with. She really made checking in a painless pleasure. Our room was easy to find, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. And yes, a good hot breakfast will be waiting for you in the morning. I've made numerous trips to Round Rock over the past year and stayed at several of the many hotels in the area. By and far, the Best Western Executive Inn is the nicest I've found.

The rooms are clean. They offer a great breakfast bar, Texas shaped waffles were a big hit! Helpful and courteous staff. We loved our stay. Definitely would recommend Best Western Exective Inn. Only negative would be the interstate noise at times.

Nice Staff, Clean Rooms, Quite, Good room Rate. Nice Pool, Good Breakfast. We stay here every year when we are in town. Great area for good food and entertainment. Cheryl working at the front desk was very friendly and really appreciated our business.

I stay here often with my workers. My job takes me to the Austin-Round Rock area almost every month and we always stay at this hotel. Breakfast buffet is above average, rooms are always clean and staff is the best you can get. Ladonna, Chris, Ana and Cheryl are always so friendly. Thank you for always welcoming us with smiles. We will be back to this hotel shortly.

A few things didn't go to well on our visit: 1. Power went out for 2 1/2 hours right at dusk. All the lights went on once the power came back on at 11p... woke us up... Clean up with the help of my laptop screen. 2. The next night a bunch of guys/gals sat around my door with beers and their lawn chairs and had loud conversations till from 10a-1am. The front desk lady came out and asked them twice to move or keep it down. They did move a few doors down but we still heard them. 3. The breakfast is rather poor especially the eggs. The bagels ar clod and sticky, you get the picture. 4. The room smelled very musty? The carpet was tattered at all room and hall entrees. 5. Highway noise is constant and loud all night. On the good side : one of the best and friendliest staff you will ever meet. I would not stay here again.

The accommodations, breakfast buffet, pool and staff were all excellent! I normally do not write reviews but the staff you have employed there are extraordinary...super friendly and helpful. One young lady working the front, named Cheryl "something or other" is a gem to have in that position greeting your clients. Super nice, friendly and informative about the area. Thanks Gang! I recommend staying at the Best Western Executive Inn in Round Rock Texas. The rooms are spacious and clean and the hotel has several fine amenities. The breakfast are complete and tasty and I would like to acknowledge the staff for their excellence, particularly Jared, Ladonna, Cheryl, Anna, and Tushar. You will not find a greater level of hospitality in your travels!

I chose this hotel based on its ratings and reviews. I gave it a 2 rating for effort. The front entrance and lobby area looks nice and the front desk personnel were nice. However, the hotel's right next to the highway and is VERY noisy....regardless of where your room's located! I wasn't impressed with the hotel....it's like a refurbished motel....and my picture shows it! I can't see how anyone could've given this place a high rating! Don't choose this hotel if you're used to staying in decent hotels.....you're gonna be sorry!

Staff is excellent. Have stayed here many times. There is never a problem. They go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Every time I have to travel to Round Rock, I stay here. It is very near several restaurants and the Outlet Mall.

Nice place all areas of the hotel were at or above our standards. The real surprise was the service from the lobby staff check in was a breeze and all areas of the hotel were explained and more than once were asked if we needed any thing feel free to ask. Due to a delay on a job interview needed to have a little extra time at check were told to use what we needed with no trouble or speech about check out time just a great experience.

While this is a chain, and I've stayed at many, I've never had such efficient, courteous customer service as Cheryl and Chris deliver. They don't miss a beat. There could be a long line and the phone is ringing call after call, yet they manage to stay friendly and process needs and requests quickly with a smile. It's nice to encounter such great customer service. It is rare these days.

We had to make last minute arrangements due to a death in the family last week. I don't think I've ever had kinder, more considerate service from a hotel staff. They took care of our every need, even though our plans kept changing because of the circumstances. Our room was spotlessly clean & fresh. Thanks to everyone for making this difficult time a little easier.

Room was clean, staff was courteous (Jarod, Cheryl) and allowed us to retain our bags at the motel office until the afternoon of our check out day. Great dining very close by and outside of the Austin traffic. Easy access to all major highways and tollways.

What to expect...the hotel is half the cost of most in the Austin area. Obviously to afford those rates costs must be cut somewhere. Pros- The hotel is clean, offers free WiFi and hot/cold breakfast. The breakfast had a nice assortment of usual breakfast items. The staff seemed friendly and attentive. They offer smoking rooms which is a nice option for some of my employees. Offers a fridge and small coffee pot in the room. Very hot water and good water pressure. Cons- In and out can be a pain, it is located on I35 service road so only one way in and out. The bed is hard, sheets and towels are rough/scratchy. Toilet paper is very thin and may as well be paper as it is NOT soft. The windows are single pane and you are by the hwy so noise can be heard in the room. Conclusion- If your looking for a cheap, clean hotel that offers wifi and free breakfast this is it. Also if you smoke this is one of the few hotels left where you can in a room. If you are use to slight background noise (hwy), sleeping on low thread count sheets and a stiff mattress you will have no problem sleeping here. Personally it was hard for me as I like dark, silent, soft sleeping atmosphere. My employees had no problems. We all had the same opinion of toilet paper though. Easy fix, stop at Walmart and get a 4 pk of their soft and strong. You will thank me after.

I travel all over Texas, staying in hotels once a week. Rarely do you find a from desk clerk as nice and professional as Cheryl. Speaking with over the phone was all I needed to know I'd be taken care of. Room nice and clean. Cheryl had great restaurant suggestions too.

Cheryl and Ana where very help full my whole stay at the hotel. They where very curtious and always had a smile. They made the trip a very good trip.The thing I did not like is that the hotel did not hve an elevator.

Booked the room a week before COTA MotoGP and still got a reasonable rate for the weekend. The hotel is just outside of Austin, a 30 to 40 minute drive to downtown. This location turned out great with the tasty Mexican restaurant right next door, Round Rock downtown area just around the block, and Walmart a few buildings over. An important part of my decision in where to stay is the pet friendly aspect. Like most Best Westerns this hotel was pet friendly. There was a free breakfast provided, the usuals: muffins, bagels, cereal, coffee, juice, and such. Will stay again when in the area.

Our stay was convenient and comfortable which made for a pleasant stay in Round Rock. The staff was professional and helpful when needed. We appreciated that the facility was pet friendly, non smoking, and very clean. Keeping our dog with us was very important. Thank you for making our four day stay so very nice.

We booked our trip for a volleyball tournament and decided to book with HotelPlanners.com. The hotel had an amazing breakfast!!! Ms. Cheryl in the front desk was awesome. I made my reservation several weeks in advance requesting a smoking room. When I arrived, there were no smoking room available. After several hours on the highway and needing to complete work at the hotel, I would have to stop and go to the parking lot to smoke. By the way, the room smelled musty.

I've stayed here a couple of times a year for 6+ years now. I've found the staff to all be extremely friendly and capable. My son and I both enjoy our stays here. We've had very few issues, and these were attended to within moments of a call to the front desk. Ana, Latanya are almost family now, and greatly appreciated. We'll continue to stay. The warm friendly smile of the front desk clerk Cheryl" was professional, courteous and prompt in getting me into a room. As a frequent traveler I see a lot of front desk clerks and when one stands out from the crowd it sticks in your memory. It also means that they are genuinely concerned in getting a great rate, a great room and in doing so it is their pleasure to help you. I can rest assured that my stay here will be relaxing and problem free. Contending with the Austin traffic is another discussion but having a nice break from the daily grind was what I really needed and why I will return here again and again when I need a place to stay when I am in town.

This was a great place to stay. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and we were greeted immediately upon arrival. The room was clean, smelled fresh, and the bed was very comfortable with nice fluffy, not flat, pillows. The breakfast choices were great. The hard part was making a choice with so much to choose from. This is definitely the place to stay in Round Rock, Texas, and Best Western will be our first choice in hotels from now on.

Easy on and off access from I35. The property was clean and so was the room. There is an EXCELLANT Mexican restaurant next door so we didn't have to get in the car and go anywhere to eat as we were tired from the day. Wasn't too excited about eggs at the breakfast buffet...they were cold and hard; not appetizing.

I was in Round Rock for a family members funeral, I was more than surprised when I checked in that Ladonna immediately offered her condolences as well as she went out of her way to make my stay as pleasant as possible. If I am every in the area again I will most definitely stay at this hotel.

We've stayed at this Best Western several times. We've always had a good experience with our stays. Thanks to Chris at the front desk for changing us from 2nd floor to 1st floor and ensuring we were on south side of motel, close to the grassy area for our little dog.

Mrs. Cheryl and Mrs. Ana who worked at the front desk were the BEST ! They had great attitudes and were very helpful ! The room we were originally wanting (a king) was sold out. But they made sure they can make our stay as best as possible. All of our other requests (wanting a first floor smoke free room) was taken care of. They called after I unloaded all of our stuff just to make sure the room met our expectations. Which it did. Very neat and clean. They're attitudes is really what made us want to stay as well. When we first walked in they greeted us and was smiling. They were AMAZING ! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !! I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. I stay here every time I come into Austin. The rooms are always clean and it's a nice area. But by far, the best customer service I've had since I've been starting coming here ! If I could rate this visit and customer service more stars, I will.

I am very impressed by the flexibility that the team at this hotel exercise, Elizabeth and Chris, very nice young people, overheard that our car rental failed at picking us up after check out, instead of waiting in the lobby, They were so nice to let us do a late check out. Further more, when ever I called the front desk day or night, some one answered right away and always with a solution to my questions. I love this treatment!

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times and have enjoyed each time. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The rooms have always been clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone, Check in and out is always speedy and trouble free.

This stay started off well with a greeting from a pleasant front desk clerk. The lobby seemed to be recently updated. Our room, 129, was on the first floor with an outside entrance. This was great since we carried a lot of gear. The room was okay but the beds were awfully hard and uncomfortable. The road noise from I 35 kept us awake during the night. For the money, this just wasn't a great deal. We chose a new Hampton Inn on our return travels and slept in a bed that cradled us. What a difference!

I arrived well before normal checkin time and my room was not yet available. Chris was manning the front desk, was extremely friendly and helpful! He offered to store my suitcase fore me so meds would not be left in a hot car and was gracious enough to let me know when the room was available. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful! I will be staying here again if I am back this way!

Business trip to Austin and this is the first time I stayed here. Great room and close to restaurants. Staff was very accommodating and the hot breakfast was very good. Will definitely stay here again when in the area!

Comfortable bed, cozy blanket and pillows, and a great breakfast. Scrambled eggs, sausage links, juices, and a great assortment of breakfast pastries. I wish the flour tortillas were homemade, but hey, that's no easy task. Great hotel.

Let me start by thanking Elizabeth at the front desk for letting us check in 3 hours early! My husband I had traveled from East Texas and I had been sick with a stomach bug all the way there. My husband explained to her the situation and Elizabeth found us a room. Once we got to our room I was very pleased to see how clean and fresh smelling our room was, especially since I had a very upset stomach. Later the staff helped my husband open up a can of chicken noodle soup. Thanks again Elizabeth!!!

This was a family related trip with honey but I travel quite a bit for business and stay at a variety of hotels. Although the Best Western Executive Inn in Round Rock is not one of the top of the line, expensive hotels, I have found that they consistently make every effort to make our stays to be top of the line. This is what we found: 1. The room was large, had a very comfortable bed, had great amenities like wall mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Also had shower cap, make-up remover towelettes. 2. The room had plenty of electrical outlets and was impeccably clean. 3. The room was nicely decorated and had nice pillows, towels, bed linen and a couch 4. Although there is a lot of noise outside due to the interstate, it could not be heard in our room with the curtains drawn and the pleasant air flow from the air conditioner. The staff was very nice and our front desk person, Elizabeth was very helpful when we asked for a late checkout. The motel is within walking distance of several nice restaurants or a maybe a minute drive. We drove.

We called to let them know we wouldn't arrive until the wee hours of the morning. The staff was wided eyed and very friendly when we arrived. The room was very clean and the breakfast was fresh. The only problem we had was the shampoo was out in the bathroom. I'm sure if we alerted them of the issue they would have taken care of it promptly. We'd definately stay again.

Ladonna was quick to help when I realized on check in that I had forgotten to pack my shoes for my interview the next morning. She caught on the outlet mall was too much to face in a hurry, so she suggested a local shop and looked it up to find out what time it closed, gave me great directions and the hotel phone number if I got lost. She took immediate interest in my crisis and everything worked out. Everyone I met at the hotel was super, but she deserves recognition. That's 5 star service from a little hotel.

Special thank you to the desk manager for making room for two weary travelers and their little dog. Donovan Thompson was on duty and he helped us out even though they didn't have any pet rooms he gave us a room and we were able to get a great nights rest. I had been staying at another motel chain (with a Red Roof...) and moved here because of literally being afraid for my safety. Found this place online, and called property directly to check on Pet Policy. The gentleman was so nice on the phone, I made my reservation right then. I was greeted by a very friendly& professional front desk clerk at check in. My room was shiny clean & comfortable, and I could tell recent renovations had been done...new a/c unit etc. and still renovating rooms (quietly!) while I was there. During my week long stay the service was great and all the staff treated me like family, from housekeeping, groundspeople and front desk...always greeting me daily with a smile. The owners & manager must train and treat their staff with regard to have created such a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this Best Western, and would happily stay there again. Free breakfast and WiFi and Pet Friendly (only a small daily fee for my dog). Thank you!

Very nice check-in / out staff, I can't say enough about how friendly the ladies were. Very clean room and nice looking room....But, I have to give 3 stars for the worst night sleep ever! The bed was so hard! Now if you like extra, extra, extra firm you will probably love the bed. My son on the other hand slept like a rock! The remote for the TV would only go down which was a pain to change channels. There is a restaurant next door and it sounded like someone was dumpster diving at 3:30 a.m. Not sure if I would stay there again with other places close by.

Continental breakfast & very clean room. Quality pillows. Stayed at this hotel for approx. 1/2 the price of hotels in downtown Austin. Was just a 15 - 20 min drive to downtown. Also, plenty of restaurants within 5 minutes.

I stayed at the Executive Inn for four nights in January on business. Rooms were in good condition, hospitality and service were very good, neighbors were quiet. The only drawback was a lot of road noise from nearby !-35, but perhaps this could be reduced by requesting a room at the back. Convenient to shopping and restaurants in Round Rock. I would stay there again.

Inviting facility and grounds. Personnel were polite and courteous. A few minor items in the room needed attention, the sink stopper did not work therefore not allowing the sink to drain unless I held up the stopper, the a/c fan belt need some attention for its' squealing when starting, and the decorative pilow smelled like cigarettes, presumingly in a non-smoking room. Other than the mentioned the room was comfortable and clean.

We were a little concerned about noise being so close to IH 35 but it wasn't too bad. My wife is very in to cleanliness and she was very positive of how clean the room was. I am still in shock about that. Very nice breakfast as well. A good deal for the money.

I booked a room for my dad through priceline.com and called the hotel the next day to make sure they knew he'd be arriving late. Turns out, the check-in date was initially entered in incorrectly (the purchase date was put in as the check-in date) causing me to be charged for a no-show. However, Carolyn at the front desk immediately began researching the situation and within an hour the situation was resolved as well as accurately explained to me with the sincerest apology. Carolyn's awesome customer service skills and the cleanliness of the hotel are the reasons I'm writing this review today. I definitely recommend :)

Once again we have enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Executive Inn in Round Rock, Texas. The hotel is located on I-35 N, with easy travel to sights and events in Austin. Service is excellent and the breakfast is fresh, tasty and well appointed. Though located on the highway, noise is not a problem. We've stayed here many times and will stay again when we are in the Austin Area.

The staff was very helpful when we were stuck in some really bad weather and couldn't make our reservation date, they had it adjusted for us when we arrived so we didn't loose any money or time visiting. Caroline let me know I didn't have to worry about my reservation just be careful and stay safe and they'd be ready for me when I arrived. I also talked to Ladonna when we had to be delayed further and she was just as kind. When we arrived Donovan registered us and knew all about our situation and again very kind and helpful. This is a very nice Hotel also, they've thought of everything they could to make your stay nicer and more comfortable.

Staff is amazing and accommodating! Room is always clean, just as expected every stay. The manager, Ladonna, Donovan, Carolyn, and Jared are ALWAYS helpful, and seemed to know me by name! They were very sweet to my daughters and very friendly in general! - L. Kendall

I started coming here about 5 years ago when I visit my grandkids We come twice a year (summer and Chrstmas) and this is the only place I even consider when visiting Round Rock This is the place, Never had a problem, never expect a problem, staff is wonderful, and the Texas Waffle makes all so much the better.

Everything is wonderful! Kudos to Jarod who greeted me personally and by name upon my arrival. He went out of his way to assist my personal needs quickly and professionally! He has excellent customer service skills and sets the bar in that area. Please give him a raise! Jarod is a shining example of great customer service and made a great first impression for me of what Best Western has to offer. From now on I will make a point to stay at Best Western hotels. I'm sold!

I have had the pleasure of staying at the hotel for 30 days and Ladonna, Carolyn, Jared, and Donovan made me feel right at home with their excellent customer service. Five stars for customer service. I'd recommend this hotel every time you visit Round Rock, long-term or short! Way to go BW!!!

The rooms were clean and the breakfast was tasty, but the most memorable part of the trip was the woman at the front desk, Carolyn. She had an amazing attitude and went out of her way to make sure that our stay was the best possible. She is the most pleasant hotel employee that I have ever encountered.

I stay in Best Western's from coast to coast and this location has been a great experience compared to others. The rooms are cleaner and the breakfast food has a better taste. Carolyn at check in provided a very warm atmosphere and welcome. There are many convenient restaurants in the area with a couple within walking distance.

Average is what I expect when relating it to all my past BW stays. The Wifi was a little below BW average: 2.37 down, 2.86 up. Breakfast was usual BW. Price was reasonable I am comfortable with exterior rooms

I come to Austin for my company quite often however I have never met a lady who is so incredible and works the evening shift in Round Rock Texas at the front desk She was extremely hospitable and had the best Texas smile and personality that Austin Texas has to offer. Her name is Caroline and when you meet her let her know Frieda sent you. I am definitely letting my employer know that I would like to stay at this hotel every single time that they send me here. And as far as the room goes there extremely clean and the house cleaning department is also fantastic. I also noticed the guests are a little more upper class then your usual guest that occupy hotels. Definitely anytime you are near Austin or anywhere around the Round Rock Texas area stay here you will not be sorry. This is a clean motel, you can smell the chemical cleaner. The doors open to the outside and it's right on the very busy IH 35. Staff is friendly. Full breakfast with eggs, sausage, a variety of bread products like waffles or pancakes (I have no idea if these were good, but they were served). Staff told us the fitness center was under renovation, but there was a YMCA across the parking lot that could be used, but was not open the day we were wanting to use it.

A change in my itinerary brought me to this Best Western which became my blessing in disguise. This property north of Austin stays busy because it is well maintained and the staff is considerate and understanding that every guest has special needs. Mine was a last minute booking. The room was well appointed and clean however I've never been a fan of liquid soap dispensers in the restroom for a guest as this is not a gas station, its a hotel and bar soap is still a must for me. There is a very good Mexican restaurant within a short walking distance so finding a good meal is easy.

This is an well maintained older style motel located right off the busy highway. The staff was professional and very friendly. I was a little early but the readily accommodated me and verified the room was ready. All the rooms are exterior entrance and there is nothing remarkable about the rooms. They are clean and have a refrigerator, microwave and flat screen tv. . The breakfast was good, Eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, juice, pastry, mixed fruit and coffee. Within walking distance of a variety of restaurant foods - mexican, hamburgers, steak, etc. and there are more within a short drive. Even though it was close to the highway and some traffic is heard I did not find it constant nor loud when I did hear it. I was about halfway but the farther the rooms further away might be quieter. Worth the price, location was good for me and found all the staff (front desk to cleaning staff) very nice to work with, Would stay here again,

Employees were extremely pleasant, and helpful.. We were always given a smile and a welcoming greeting every time we entered the lobby. Our stay was more pleasant than at the Hilton Double Tree at Sea World on International Drive (Orlando, Florida) which was more than double the cost of the stay at the Best Western Executive Inn in Round Rock, Texas..

This hotel is strategically located in the Round Rock area where our group functions are held. The hotel is a great value for the price and the condition of the property. While there are higher priced upper echelon hotels nearby, we always come back here primarily for the familiar location and the great staff that is always very helpful and makes us feel like they appreciate our business.

Wife has a blown knee and we were accommodated with a downstairs room near the lobby, was able to park in front of our room too, the room was nice with love seat and desk, bathroom was big and the shower's water pressure was good (rare in the Hill Country), tasty link sausages and scrambled eggs each morning for breakfast, staff was super friendly and very helpful, was told that they have planned a remodel to make it even better, we plan to stay there again the next time we are in Austin...

A very comfortable room on ground floor with outside green area for my dog. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Nearby restaurants, one next door, nearby urgent care and shopping areas. Easy access to freeway and/or surrounding places of business without getting on freeway.

A pleasant and enjoyable experience, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was excellent and the property in general was quiet, clean and well maintained. Traveling with pets and coming to town for a family illness was hectic and crazy - I'm pleased to say that the manager Ladonna made our stay comfortable and even helped us book future travel plans to return to Round Rock.

We stayed here for one night because of the location. It is a older motel but very well maintained and clean. Some of the furniture was worn but not to bad. The breakfast was very good and they had a nice breakfast area as well. Very helpful staff also.

I have stayed at this location several times. The staff is friendly and I love the color & décor in the rooms. The breakfast is your standard hot sausage, eggs, waffles, etc-which is good. However being in Texas, there is a Mexican restaurant right across the parking lot to grab a breakfast taco or plate!!! The location has been good to me for the times I've had to be in Austin, Hutto, & Taylor. I could take my time getting ready.

The front desk agent Ladonna is by far the best thing that happened to my traveling companion and i on 10-09-14. She was quick efficient and witty with fabulous customer service skills. we had been struggling all day through bad events such as our flight was late, we got overbooked at other hotels and were almost late to family dinner. she helped us get to a better day and it didn't happen until she smiled that welcome smile! she served us well! made our day brighter! and fixed our wifi issue! lol not to mention the extra pillows she threw my way! thanks Ladonna your a joyful rockstar!

The room was clean and newly renovated, as advertised. When I arrived with a reservation for a non-smoking room, I was offered a choice: a smoking room or the last non-smoking room with a broken air conditioner. It's Texas... keep your a/c in working order. For that matter, just honor the reservation request for a non-smoking room. Unfortunately, it was 10pm, and it was too late to start a new hotel search. I got a ground floor room next to a loud freeway, so I couldn't even open the window. The room stayed around 85 degrees, tolerable, but mildly uncomfortable (luckily it wasn't the heat of summer). The check-in staff made no apologies for not having a non-smoking room available, and the check-out staff were equally ambivalent. If you're in the 78% of adults who don't smoke, spend the $20 more and stay at the nearby Hilton Garden Inn (100% non-smoking).

We rarely have an issue like this and I am disappointed it happened on your stay with us. We do have new air conditioners in most of our rooms and we should have the rest replaced in the up coming weeks. Nice hotel. Good full breakfast. Very nice staff. Front desk clerk was very helpful at check in getting us a downstairs room for my elderly mother in law. Location right on the interstate was handy and the buffet restaurant with easy access a block down from the hotel was a good meal for lunch or dinner.

A basic Best Western. The room was very clean - good towels, and comfortable bed. You can park right outside the door of the room - easy load/unload. They provide a free USA Today. I didn't have time to check the breakfast - only stayed one night. The staff at check in was not very professional - mainly in attitude. There is no gift (water or snack) for rewards customers - they automatically add bonus points to your account instead. The free Wi-Fi was average and hard to log on.

My mother and I were in the areas for family. We were in another hotel and were having trouble. We came here to check it out and found a wonderful place and people. They worked with our needa and were geniune in there concerns and help. Would most definitely stay here again.

During company trips we stay at the executive inn. Nice, clean rooms with great air conditioning. It's next door to the ymca and they have a decent pool! Our staff member was very helpful and actually helped match competitors prices to accommodate us! Thanks Ana Lopez! Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

We have stayed here before and it was pleasant as well. The staff was great! They were very respectful and helpful. The rooms were nice and the AC worked great. Overall, I would stay there again. I would recommend staying here.
