Best Western Rocky Mountain House Inn & Suites

Hotel room was 2 queen beds non smoking. I booked through Expedia and didn't have any concerns with booking and reservation. Room was clean, had a microwave and a fridge. Breakfast was included which started at 5, which was great because we needed to be out by 7:30am. The breakfast server lady was phenomenal! She saw that I'm wearing a hijab and reminded me that the breakfast wraps have pork in them and went in to make fresh new egg and cheese omelettes just for us. What a wonderful and kind, generous act! She was so pleasant and so kind! The ladies at the reception desk were just as friendly, accommodating and polite! All in all a great place to stay! The room didn't come with a view you'd expect at Banff or Canmore but I was there just to stay overnight to continue driving towards clear water county. But the room and service were amazing!

We stayed one night here in the middle of a long camping trip. The hotel is in a convenient spot. The room was very nice. We have a dog, and the staff seemed happy to see him. I used the guest laundry; all the machines were clean and worked great. Front desk staff were very friendly and even helped me find some soap to clean my favorite water bottle that really needed it. The breakfast was good. I'd be happy to stay there again.

Very comfortable rooms and reasonably quiet stay. Very accommodating and friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Complementary breakfast has good variety with quite a bit of seating. Wifi has a strong signal which is really great considering the Hotel was quite full during our stay. TV programing provided was not great, everything was in standard definition, no HD, somewhat disappointing. Hotel is located on the far East side of Town

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The suite was very nice. It was clean and updated. Great size for a small family. Having a sink other than the bathroom was nice, as we have a 10 month old with lots of dishes and bottles to do. The beds are a bit on the hard side, but fairly comfortable and there were lots of pillows. The toilet paper could stand to be softer..... it was like sand paper. The breakfast was pretty good but there are only 9 tables. The hotel was fully booked so we weren't able to get a table the second morning so we took some food back to our room. Luckily, Tim Hortons is across the parking lot. Parking stalls are huge - like the ones at Costco. Makes it very easy to pack and unpack the car. Staff was friendly. We would stay here again.

We pulled into this property after a long, hot, & Smokey drive. Reception was thorough, the pool invigorating, and the room quite acceptable. Breakfast was very good complete with cheese omelettes. Yummy. The parking lot hosts a Tim Horton's with a Boston Pizza across the road. Very convenient. We would, without hesitation recommend this property. Quite appealing & very clean.

After a beautiful road trip through the Rockies we ended up at the amazing hotel. The staff were very friendly, hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast before heading out on our next adventure.

We stayed here on the first day after hiring a car for our honeymoon. We checked in swiftly, with the assistant checking our room was ready before heading up to it; which I thought was the professional thing to do. The lady at check in gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate our honeymoon, again, very thoughtful and we appreciated the little touches. The accommodation was very clean and tidy, with a large hot tub in the room. The bed was super comfy and overlooked part of the car park, Timmy's and a field onto the countryside. The breakfast was a buffet style, with plenty of seating just off the lobby area. The breakfast wraps were really tasty! Although not the poshest place on our honeymoon, this place was excellent at the services it provided at great value. Too many hotels try to be something that they just aren't. Definitely worth a stay if you need a stopover nearby. 5*

We were there for a hockey tournament in a nearby town. The key making machine wasn't working, so we were given one key per room and no spare key would be available if it was lost. Somewhat nerve racking! We had asked to use the banquet room for our team dinner. It was fantastic! Ordered pizzas and played board games. Thank you!! Pros: -Rooms were quiet -Good complimentary breakfast -Excellent Pool and Waterslide Cons: -Other than the key issues, no problems here!

Stayed here while visiting our daughter in Rocky. Very clean hotel , nicely decorated . We didn't use the pool although it looked quite busy. The Tim Horton's is in the next parking lot , which was a bonus you could just walk. Hotel front desk were very pleasant . There was a M & M Food Machine there that you could get frozen little personal dinners . Haven't seen this in other hotels but very convenient and good selection. Everything from personal pizza to cabbage rolls that you just pop in microwave . Great idea !!!!!!

very clean, modern hotel. very comfortable beds. this hotel I found was very quiet ,even though the hotel was busy you couldnt hear people in the hall or in the next room like I have in other hotels. the staff were very friendly and caring. breakfast was very hot and yummy. highly recommend this hotel when staying in rocky mountain house.

I arrived in Rocky Mountain House just before 1 pm and decided to stop to see if I could check in before I headed to the event I was in town for. My room wasn't ready yet however they graciously offered to upgrade me at no charge to a jacuzzi room so that I could check in early. The room was clean and comfortable and all staff very courteous. I have no complaints. They have coffee and tea along with fruit available 24 hours a day and a very nice breakfast available in the morning. My son and his girlfriend enjoyed using the hot tub and there is also a swimming pool with a slide if you so choose. The hotel is within walking distance of places to eat, both Tim Hortons and Boston Pizza. This hotel is a good choice for a stay in Rocky Mountain House.

We visited this past weekend for a family reunion and were impressed with the outstanding attention to detail and friendly nature of ALL staff. The rooms are clean - complete with a bag proudly declaring and containing a “clean remote control”. The breakfast is not standard fare - including such delicious options as cheese omelettes, gluten free oatmeal, breakfast burritos and more! Kids had a great time in the pool and all (young and old!) valued the flexibility of the hotel when the weather turned and we needed a place to have the family gather. The phone call pre-checkout to ensure our satisfaction was most welcome and much appreciated. If you're going to Rocky Mountain House, THIS is the place to stay! Thank you to all who made this event even more memorable.

I stay at Best Western's pretty regularly and this was pretty much what I expected. When you have a 15 hour work day a head of you it's important to get a good night sleep and recover. The breakfast was the highlight of my stay.

Helpful staff, clean rooms, average breakfast. Busy over the weekends.i would recommend this property for stay. Breakfast could be improved with better options for vegetarians. The town itself is close to tourist attractions.

We stayed here overnight on our way through to Edmonton and found this to be a very warm and friendly place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the wifi is strong and reliable. There wasnt anything about this hotel that made it stand out from the other but also there was nothing that made us think negative of our stay. We would certainly stay here again.

Was working long hours at a remote site. Felt good to return to a relaxing hotel. Good breakfast, good timing for my work day. Hotel has a water slide and hot tub, didn't have time to try these amenities.

The room was clean and comfortable, the showers have built-in soap and shampoo dispensers, the breakfast was delicious and every interacting we had with staff was friendly and pleasant. Overall, a fantastic experience. Would definitely stay here again.

In Rocky MountIn House for one day on business. This hotel was recommended to me by a colleague abs so happy they did. Excellent check in experience, nice clean and well maintained hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated and well appointed. I wanted for nothing and was very pleased with the experience. The breakfast restaurant was nice ans clean and the buffet well stocked. A bonus was the Boston Pizza and Tim Hortons right across the street, very convenient. My needs were completely met and no reason to go anywhere else, I will be back.

Wonderful staff, incredible free breakfast buffet! Excellent place to stay while in Rocky Mountain House. Very quiet and clean room. I went from here to a much more expensive and allegedly fancy hotel in Banff, and this hotel was superior in every way. I also liked Rocky Mountain House. I was thinking that for my next little vacation I might skip Banff altogether and just stay in RMH!

Clean, great service, great cookies at the front desk, pet friendly, great pool, nice rooms. We really enjoyed our stay. Our pet was given a goodie bag which was a nice thought. Reception was very welcoming and helpful.

Good clean room - good breakfast. Fast check in - fast check out. Lots of parking - Handicap Parking close to building. Had a working elevator too. Pets are welcome too. Lobby was a great place to gather with a large group - coffee and tea on hand.

The ladies at the front desk on evenings and in the breakfast area in the mornings were professional and friendly and very helpful. We would choose to stay here again. We needed a repair in the room, which was done.

The stay at Rocky Mountain House was just as good as ever. Breakfast was great but the bed, or at least the one in my room was not that great, have had a stiff back ever since, this was the only downside to being there. Breakfast staff were great!

We traveled to Rocky Mountain House on the last very cold day of 2017. The staff at the hotel was friendly, helpful, and greeted us with warmth. We completely enjoyed our stay in our warm, clean room.

We stayed here as part of our Christmas season travels to see family and this was a great place that was accommodating to our family's needs and was warm and comfortable on a very cold cold night. They were organized and helpful at check in, had little activities for the kids and a bit flexible with our use of the pool area and let us have a chance to thaw out in the hot tub even though we arrived close to the time it would close. The beds were comfortable , the room was clean and had what we needed. Breakfast was good and staff were very polite ,and organized and we left feeling very positive about our experience there.

The Rocky Mountain House Best Western was excellent as I have come to expect. The staff were most helpful and the breakfast excellent I have no hesitation in recommending thei hotel. A nice warm and welcoming hotel amidst a cold Alberta landscape

It was a great place to stay. It was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good and had good variety. The breakfast bacon and omelette eggs could be kept hotter. There is a Boston Pizza and Tim Hortons just outside the BW parking lot. The staff were friendly and accommodating and went out of their way for me to keep my room during the weekend of christmas parties. The oilfield and construction crews that are staying there need to be reminded to leave their muddy footwear in their vehicles. The WiFi worked but would not allow outgoing Telus emails. This can be resolved if one calls enough Telus help lines. The BW WiFi help is clueless about Telus email problems and need training. I used the business room for printing off documents with no issues.

Awesome customer service. Would appreciate rooms that are away from customer traffic due to 24 hour crews and we need our rest. Best Western ranks high as far as accommodating our crews regarding linen changes and replenishing of bathroom supplies.

Upon arrival, we had no wait for a check in. The whole process was very quick and we were upgraded to a room superior to the one booked. We had a great view to the west on the quiet side of the hotel. Very comfy beds, great flat screen tv, good shower and a quiet night's sleep. The continental breakfast enabled a quick get-away and the lady running will make you an omelet if you ask nicely!

I stayed at this hotel for one night and was greeted with a warm welcome from the 2 ladies on the desk. Both were very friendly. My room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is away from the downtown core and is very quiet.

What a nice facility. The pool and hot tub were great. The cookies being served each day was super nice and "sweet". The hotel was quiet at night, new, clean and the front counter attendants very friendly. We hiked all day so coming back to a relaxing hotel was nice.

I made an error on my online booking and didn't show up for my reservation. Ann, the Manager, made sure that I had a room for when I arrived plus graciously did not charge me for mistake. My husband and I were truly appreciative!

The room was modern, well appointed, and exceptionally clean. The rates were very reasonable even though we didn't have a reservation and arrived after 23:00. The hotel was at full capacity after we arrived, but was quiet & calm, and the parking lot was well-lit, clean and secure.

Highly recommend this hotel in Rocky - we stayed there for 4 nights - the staff are amazing - super friendly and very accommodating (I think they must like working there and it shows in how pleasant they are:) The hotel is very clean, has a great breakfast and is also located close to a Tim Horton's and Boston Pizza. We travelled with a small dog and it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at for a welcoming experience with a pet. If passing through on vacation (especially with kids), it would also be a perfect stop-over as there is a small fitness centre and pool with water slide and a whirlpool - the entire pool area is very clean as well with towels provided. An added bonus is the laundry facilities located on the main floor! Thanks for a great stay BW Rocky Mountain House!

We only spent one night here, but very much enjoyed our stay. The room was a good size, clean, and comfortable. They provided a crib/playpen for our 1 year old. The bed was pleasant to sleep in. There were a number of options for breakfast...including bacon which surprised me. Waffles and yoghurt were also good. My only complaint was that the pool was chilly in the morning and definitely took some time to get use to. I did try the waterslide which was fun but the hot tub was close for maintenance it seemed which was a disappointment.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay! The staff was great on checkin and funny also! Rooms were clean and comfortable, internet which is always a big thing worked great! The hotel was clean and provided a great experience overall!

For a hotel in an out of the way rural town it met all expectations. It has a nice large parking lot and level entry. It has a good breakfast area with something for everyone to eat. Our room had a king bed in it with lots of room to move around with out tripping on each other. It was clean and the bed was quite comfy. Had a small closet with rubber mat for your shoes to help keep the carpet clean. It has a nice swimming pool area with water slide with a small workout room off to the side of the pool area. Reception was very pleasant coming and going. For people that cant live out it there is Tim Hortons across the parking lot. We plan on returning next August for the Battle of the Rockies.

The room was great. The shower was large and had awesome water pressure. Very good selection of breakfast items for the continental breakfast and it is located right next to a Boston Pizza and Tim Horton's. Amazing staff! The manager really went above and beyond helping us find road closure and forest fire information on a nearby provincial park we were visiting for a celebration of life. Will definitely stay here again 10/10!

The staff are amazing! If you meet Anne you will love her she is so sweet especially with kids. The family suite was awesome there was a room for the kids with a tv and one for the adults so no fighting over shows at bedtime lol The pool and water slide are a hit with our 9 year olds. The breakfast is great and over all I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Best Western in Rocky Mountain House. We were welcomed by very helpful and friendly front desk staff. They were most helpful in providing information about the chuckwagon races and other events in town. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection to keep everyone happy. We look forward to our next stay at the Best Western in Rocky Mount House.

This hotel was very clean. It had everything we wanted. Staff were fantastic and so friendly. They went above and beyond to help us with all of our needs and wants. Would stay there again in a heart beat.

The juccuzi room was awesome, the staff did everything to make my stay enjoyable. The location was great and if you stay on the back side of the hotel the view is the best and it is quietest. There is a Tim Hortons and a Boston Pizza within a block of the hotel.

The Best Western Hotel offers a nice clean hotel at a reasonable price. Internet is good. However the fitness area and swimming pool are a bit small. The complimentary breakfast is very good, and complimentary coffee is available for most of the day.

We booked our room only one night prior to arriving and weren't expecting much. The hotel is very clean and the service from staff is as good or better than any I've experienced anywhere before. Room was simple but modern and in-room amenities were great. WiFi never got Larry either. The complimentary breakfast was simple but fresh. Really can't think of any true negatives. I eould 100% stay here again. I wish other hotels would learn from this place.

Annual family stopover at Rocky Mountain House. First time at this best western. Stayed three nights on August long weekend. Check in / out was great. Asked for extra towel and it was promptly delivered. Put on first floor between pool and dining room which was as noisy as my childhood home. Hot Breakfast served Saturday and Sunday, but NONE on Monday. Fresh baked cookies available at reception only once over three days. Room not refreshed daily (bed not made, laundry bag not replaced) Final impression- employees were great but I found this Best Western a lot of smoke and mirrors. Given the price and unmet expectations, try elsewhere.

Excellent Service, Excellent Room, Excellent Breakfast. This looked like a new hotel when in fact it is ten years old. The owners obviously are on top of things. Quiet location in a lovely town. Certainly would stay here again if in the area.

What beautiful accommodation in the foothills of Alberta. After driving out of the Rocky Mountains then to find this spectacular oasis out in the wilderness is a real surprise When we saw the BW sign on the highway as we entered Rocky Mountain House we knew that descent (Expedia Sucks) accommodation lay ahead We had been on the road driving thru the smoke in BC for 12 hours The surprise was the quality of the Hotel and outstanding friendly staff What a very nice place Thank You

Are you kidding me?!! Even flea bag motels offer their guests HBO and subscription based Movie Central movie channels. But this place apparently believes that expenditure for unnecessary and too extravagant.

This is a good choice in RMH. If I hadn't stayed the following night at a BW in Drayton Valley my review would be better :) All BWs are not created equal, as Drayton Valley is definitely a cut above. Water pressure was a problem both times I stayed at this hotel but hotel is good in every other way - just not exceptional.

We had Anne when we checked in. From the moment we arrived till we left 2 days later she was the most helpful and pleasant person to see each day. She greeted us in the morning by name when she was us and when we seen her in the evening she made sure we had everything we needed. She went out of her way when we arrived to get us set up with BW rewards and to print us off maps of the area for places we wanted to go. Thank you Anne from the bottom of hearts. You are the most caring and most pleasant person we have ever dealt with at any stay anywhere. You are an amazing lady! Thank you so much

My husband & I are disgusted that hotels allow dogs to enter these premises without being in a kennel. There are many people who are afraid or allergic to animals but this doesn't seem to matter to most hotels anymore. We are tired of these hotels catering more to the animal lovers then to people with REAL children. Maybe there should be an extra charge for these animals sleeping & urinating on the carpets & beds?

Very friendly staff at the front desk, the room was large, quiet and very clean, the beds were comfy, the complimentary breakfast had a good selection (all the usual plus eggs and waffles) and the very nice lady running the breakfast made sure everything was fully supplied and kept it very clean. The pool is small, but there's a fun little waterslide and a hot tub, and my kids had a blast in it. And free cookies at the front desk - what else could you ask for?

We were very impressed with the room, price and service provided. Staff was very helpful & professional. Also with how staff interacted with our Chihuahua's. We would highly recommend this hotel and will use it again in the future.

I was working just outside Rocky Miuntain House. Like always, my hours were undefined so I wasn't sure how many nights (or days) I would be staying. In my downtime, I was able to get a comfortable sleep, the breakfast was ok, and the staff accommodated my late checkout.

Excellent staff and clean. Have stayed here many times and always enjoyed the staff at the front desk. Rooms are always clean. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Rocky Mountain House. Travel a lot in my business and any time I have the opportunity I stay with Best Western my stays are always enjoyable and rates are good.

I stayed in this hotel for business and the front staff were very welcoming. Everything I needed to know from where the pool and gym are to the breakfast in the morning. Front staff also encouraged me to call if I had any concerns with my room.

The front end staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was not quite ready so they made us a fresh pot of coffee and even gave me pool toys for my grandchildren who came to visit and take advantage of the pool. Great stay in the family suite!

We were very pleased by our stay, the hotel was clean and the front staff very nice and efficient. My wife and I were traveling with a puppy, the front desk staff were more than accommodating and gave our new addition a very friendly greeting.

Best place to stay in Rocky Mountain House. Very comfortable, quiet and great staff. Close to all the things you might need on your trip; groceries, dinner, drug store, gas stations and quick access to main routes. Rooms are well laid out.

The Best Western in Rock Mountain House is a very welcoming full service hotel. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. I stay there several times a year and it remains my favorite hotel in Rocky.

RMH BW has very helpful, friendly and caring staff working there, from Front Desk and Management to Breakfast and Housekeeping. All top notch. If something is wrong they will make sure it is fixed for you. We always feel welcome there.

My husband stays at the BW, while he's in Rocky working. This last stay, it worked for me to join him 2 nights. First, wow! The lobby and other public areas are beautiful, immaculate and every modern. Second, FRESH BAKED COOKIES! Around 3/4pm the girls put out fresh cookies, free for the guests. Delicious. Third, the staff are incredible. The housekeepers are very meticulous and fast. And Karen, she is a hoot! I've never had a front desk manager who has a sense of humour. That was a very welcomed change! Husband stays strictly at Best Westerns when he works away, and this is by far the best one in the whole chain!

A true Gem in the chain, I'm a Diamond member and I stay in dozen and dozens of best westerns every year. As such I know why to expect from some of the better run properties in the chain and this is amongst the best. Staff is extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming. The pool was perfect temp, and well supplied. Breakfast was hot and tasty and the rooms are well decorated and spacious and comfortable. We got a family room and the kids have their own bedroom with two twin beds, they felt like it was their own little hotel room. Very nicely decorated at that. Overnight our daughter got sick and the night staff went out of her way to find some blankets for us to ensure she was warm and comfortable. When I am in this area I know umm be coming back here to stay again.

Hotel is clean the staff are great, always have a great stay at this hotel, nice pool area, good exercise room close to resturants, tim hortons right there, good selection for breakfast in hotel from cold to hot waffle.

Our stay at the Best Western in Rocky Mountain House was great. We had friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, pool. hot tub, exercise room and access to internet. Hotel staff made sure to address any small issues that we had promptly and without hesitation. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and stress free.

We stayed here a few months ago , decided to come do some hiking on the trails around Rocky Mountain House. The hotel itself if fairly decent, the rooms are nice they have an alright breakfast and the pool was a fun treat while we were there! The only issue we had was the blonde haired lady who stands behind the front desk. She was very curt when speaking to us and you could obviously tell the staff had to walk on eggshells around her , we felt quite bad for them. Its possible to be an employee and a decent human being at the same time. Most likely we will not be going back- she kinda ruined it for us. But then again this is just our personal opinion.

We always find this hotel a pleasure to stay at. The reception staff we have encountered are all very friendly and courteous to our needs. As being clients of the BW rewards group, we are pleased with the king suite in its amenities, bed comfort, and meeting our requirements. The breakfast variety is very adequate and its nice to be eating off plates and using cutlery over the plastic that some of the other BW hotels utilize.

The hotel is clean and modern. Water slide and pool for the kids. The fitness room is small and nothing fancy but everything worked well. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was convenient. Walking distance to Boston Pizza was great.

I know that wherever I go, if i stay at the best western, there is always a certain standard I can expect. We checked in at around 7pm and was greeted by Vanessa at the front desk. LOVE HER ! Professional, friendly, SUPER NICE, funny and helpful. It made or checking in experience lovely. I wish everyone was like her, especially in the hospitality industry. Complimentary yum cookies were there for check in! The rooms were great. Clean, new, modern and well equipped. The remote control had a cover on it. (THANK GOD) Breakfast was good. Egg omelettes, bacon and sausages. Tons of coffee, and tea choices. There was a cereal station, yogurts and a waffle station where you could make your own waffles. Nom nom . The lady who made the breakfast was super friendly, helpful and attentive. She pointed out 3 deer to me in the wooded area where I took my dogs in the morning. Thank goodness they didnt see them. I am giving rocky mountain house best western 4 stars only because the lady at the front desk in the morning was nothing like Vanessa. Not very smily , not very friendly, not very customer oriented. I notice that she was showing im guessing a new comer how things work there. She wasnt a very good example. The new comer was more friendly and smily. She was on the phone when I wanted to check out. i know ur on the phone. The least you can do is give me an apologetic look or even just MAKE EYE CONTACT! A smile goes a long way.

Big screen, comfy bed, spotless room, no signs of wear and tear, a decent breakfast, and quiet. What more does a weary traveler need? Well, decent wifi. It's there too. Drove a stupendous long way to get there, and did another drive like that the next day and a good sleep here in between was a huge help. Will return.

Room was decent, price was decent. Would have appreciated a little more seating space in the room as we have a larger family to accommodate. Kids enjoyed the pool and waterslide. Breakfast was also decent for free inclusion. Nothing special, but can't complain about it!

I have stayed here several times in the last two years. My room has always been super clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff has always been pleasant and helpful. I like the hot breakfasts in the morning and Boston Pizza and Tim Hortons are a short walk away.

After a late start from Edmonton enroute Banff, we decided to overnight in Rocky. This place was just off the highway coming into town from Red Deer. It's one of Rocky's newest properties and certainly not the least expensive. You get what you pay for: supremely comfy beds, a quiet room, good flat screen TV, free wifi and a nice breakfast included in the price. It's a continental style breakfast which included some hot items (bacon, sausage, and scrambled eggs). There's a Tim Hortons and a Boston Pizza both a half block walk away. The hotel has a small fitness facility, hot tub and pool with a water slide for those wanting those amenities. We didn't try these out but they looked good. I would definitely stay at this property again.

We booked this hotel as part of a large bridal party group. The staff was excellent accommodating last minute needs and were also very professional. We enjoyed our stay and moreover enjoyed our excellent breakfast in the morning.

Had such an amazing weekend at this hotel with friends and family...hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean, beds comfortable and breakfast in the mornings was delicious! The breakfast hostess Colleen was an absolute delight. Very kind and friendly! Would love to come back and explore a little more In this town.

The Best Western in Rocky Mountain House is well priced. Rooms and amenities are great. Only grip they have a 4 slice toaster at breakfast and the queue to get ur bread in the am is too long. Otherwise no complains

Great staff with a sense of humour --- newer hotel --- clean and comfortable room --- good wifi ---- standard quick breakfast --- still don't like the sausage paddies ( no bacon) --- the lady keeps the area stocked and very clean --- but you have other choices --- we had the king room overlooking the front entrance --- not a good view but close to the elevator -- will stay again

Stayed one night en route home to B.C. New and modern facility. Ultra clean. Rooms were excellent. Well and appropriately furnished. Quiet and comfortable with blackout curtains, we enjoyed a restful night. We were both very impressed with the quality of the staff. From check-in to chambermaids they were friendly and extremely accommodating. Fresh cookies at the front desk were a nice touch. Strong Wi-fi signal. The am breakfast room was spacious and well laid out. My wife and I frequently avoid hotel continental breakfasts, but this particular one was of excellent quality and variety and very enjoyable; good coffee and juices, fresh fruit and seasonal berries, sausage, bacon, eggs, whipped crime etc. Colleen, our hostess was a delight. Very friendly and hard working, she made a point of seeing to it that the food was available, the cafe was clean and that her patrons were satisfied. No restaurant, but the hotel is close to BP and Tim Hortons. This is a great hotel. We would most definitely return.

Stayed a couple nights for a family wedding. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The rooms and public areas were very clean. The complimentary breakfast was not huge; but was adequate. My only complaint was that the pool was quite cold. The kids were not in very long and started shivering. The water slide was a moderate speed so even the little kids were having fun. A few degrees warmer and things would have been perfect.

This hotel has everything you would want and the staff are excellent. Nothing too fancy, but very clean. Very relaxed atmosphere and everyone is treated with respect. Seems like the staff really enjoy serving you.

What a great bunch of people working here. We arrived with no reservation. I was so happy with the service we received. My children were welcomed, and I even received a welcome gift for our dog who was staying with us. This was probably the cleanest pet-friendly room I've ever stayed in, which was a really nice change. The breakfast was great and the kids loved the pool. I asked for a late checkout and received it with no problem. The front desk staff were helpful and chatty; the cleaning staff were also super friendly. We will definitely return. I would recommend this family-friendly hotel.

The hotel was extremely clean - the rooms, the pool area, the fitness area and the breakfast area as well. The staff at this hotel were amazing! Everyone from the maintenance staff, housekeeping and front desk staff greeted me in the hallway or while I was having breakfast or just walking in and out of the hotel. They went out of their way to be friendly and make sure you knew if you need anything they were on it! I travel for work quite a bit and this was by far one of the best hotel stays I have had!!

Reception desk staff were accommodating, friendly and helpful. I informed the receptionist that were new to the place. She eagerly gave us a travel magazine featuring their place and she pointed to us possible short travel to Crimson/Twin Lakes and the museum. We went to the places the describe and we found the place exactly as it was. Overall we were satisfied although the gym floor was wet. The gym was only accessible through the pool area.

We traveled out to Rocky Mountain House for a Family Reunion in August and I stayed Friday and Saturday night at the Best Western. The first room I had on the 4th floor smelled funny. We all thought it was a chlorine smell. I went back to the front desk and asked for another room. I was given another room on the 4th floor and it too smelled funny but seemed somewhat better than the first one. I eventually figured out what the funny smell was - cigarette smoke + ionizer. Unbeknownst to me, I, a non-smoker with a completely non-smoking family, had ended up in a smoking room! When my daughter booked it online it did not allow her to choose smoking or non-smoking. At check in they failed to notify me that I was in a smoking room and they failed to do this for the first room and the second room. That was disappointing to say the least. However the biggest disappointment was.... Friday night when I went to crawl into one of the double beds I ran my had across the sheets and it felt like crumbs on the sheets. It was late and I was very tired so I tried the other bed and it seemed crumb-free so I jumped in and went to sleep. The next morning when I examined the first bed closer it was sand granules that were scattered across the bottom sheet. So it appears they hadn't even changed the sheets on that bed after the previous party checked out. When I told the front desk they apologized and said they would send someone up to do a complete bed change. I actually ended up asking housekeeping myself to take care of it because after a couple of hours they still had not sent anyone to take care of it. This seems like it could be a great place for families to stay but unfortunately for me it was all rather disappointing.

We stayed here for 2 nights as my family newly arrived from the other country. I like them to see Jasper just before the dead winter sets in. I used the gps to navigate from Leduc to Rocky Mountain. The hotel was easily accessible. Tim Hortons is right in-front of the hotel. Checking in and out was so easy. The free breakfast was good.

This is a nice, newer hotel in Rocky Mountain House. It is easy to find, close to a Tim Hortons, comfortable beds and clean. We were in Rocky for a family reunion and I had a great night of sleep at the Best Western. The prices are fair as well. I would recommend the Best Western and definitely stay here again. The breakfast buffet includes waffles. There is also a good fitness centre and a pool. One tip: if you are not a smoker ensure you specify a NON SMOKING room. Some third party websites don't let you specify this and the smoking floors smell terrible with an even worse smell inside the room from the stuff they are pumping in to cover the smoke. My mom (non-smoker) ended up in a smoking room and was not impressed. I couldn't even go on her floor without my airways closing up and needing my puffer. I was originally booked for a smoking room and said I can't stay in one due to my bronchitis and they were very accommodating at the hotel. Again, this was not Best Western's fault but rather the third party website that did not specify whether a room was smoking or non-smoking.

We stayed here the first night of our 2016 Canadian holiday. We flew in to Calgary and made our way up to Rocky Mountain House arriving tired and needing a shower. Check in was quick and efficient and we were pleased with our room. It contained everything we needed for a comfortable nights sleep. We found it quiet even though we were retiring early due to the time difference with the UK. We awoke early and was pleased to find the free continental breakfast ready and that it offered a fair amount of choice. We checked out straight after breakfast, which was again dealt with efficiently. Unfortunately we did not have time to try the pool or other leisure facilities. Overall, we found this hotel to be clean, comfortable and good value.

we enjoyed our one night stay here. Large comfortable rooms on the edge of town. It felt new and the kids enjoyed the pool and slide. Breakfast was included. Great place for a family stopover. Go for it.

The Best Western is a great place to roost when visiting the Rocky area. Easy to find, great rooms, lots of parking and friendly staff. We use this hotel each summer for our "Family Camping Trip". Everyone else struggle out of their campers in the morning - we arrive fresh and clean after a good sleep and a nice shower.

Stayed here for a family reunion and truly enjoyed it. Unfortunately we didn't have time to truly enjoy the amenities due to the family reunion we were attending. This will be on my list for the next reunion as a place to stay. Very relaxing and comfortable.

This is a clean little hotel. I was riding a motorbike and they were very accommodating to allow me to park close to the front entrance. The staff is friendly. They offer a free breakfast with the stay but I did not stay for breakfast. The rooms are older but clean and well maintained.

Went on a girls road trip to see the sights at Rocky Mountain House and booked our 4 day stay at the Best Western in Rocky Mountain House. Greeted by two gals at the front desk - cheery and welcoming and.....a cookie. Next day we off to see Ram River Falls, Crescent Falls, Nordegg and all the stops along the way. We left at 9:00 am and didn't get back to our room until 10:00 pm - awesome trip but totally pooped!! We were sad that the hot tub closed at 10:00 as we were really looking forward to a nice relaxing wind down. As we were telling our woes to the gal she said I will leave it open for another 1/2 hour cause she understood we had a long day. Now.....that's accommodating!! Continental breakfast was fabulous largely due to the lady that looks after it - Colleen. So pleasant, friendly, very informative and suggested sights to see. Rooms were very clean and staff was always considerate. We had a terrific stay.

The hotel was very nice. People very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was the best ever. We had everything from waffles to omelets. The lady that helped with the breakfast was just the nicest, couldn't do enough to make sure you had a great breakfast. You stay there again, and will recommend it to my friends.

We had a very pleasant start to a 10 day journey at the Best Western in Rocky Mountain House. The front desk staff were very accommodating and all went well. My family enjoyed the hotel pool and our breakfast was very healthy and hearty.

My family and I stayed here for a wedding the summer and had the absolute pleasure of being greeted at breakfast by Colleen. Her friendly smile and conversation brightened all of our mornings. This is someone who went above and beyond to give us a pleasurable experience, even before our morning coffee! Thank you Colleen and the staff at Best Western for a truly wonderful experience! I would recommend this hotel based on it's superior customer service, the clean and comfortable rooms, the excellent pool, and the tasty breakfasts!

Nice newly renovated hotel. Very comfortable and clean. rooms are quiet. Didn't get to use their swimming pool but it looks very nice. Staff are friendly and breakfast lady was very efficient and helpful.

The place was new, clean and quiet. The breakfast was great. Staff were polite and helpful. The best part was the pool. It's not huge but it sure was fun. In Rocky Mountain house, this is where we will plan to stay next time too. My kids liked the big tv.

My wife, brother and sister in law were on the way home after a week in the Okanagan. I had never travelled across from the Jasper Parkway to Rocky Mountain House and we're glad we chose this route. Beautiful scenery and a very quiet drive, compared to Hwy 1 through Calgary. The Best Western in Rocky Mountain House served as a very comfortable 1 night stay on our way back to Saskatoon. I would recommend this hotel.

A good friend and I were playing in a two day Alberta Golf Tour event at Pine Hills so from past experiences with Best Western we decided to stay here. Nice, clean and comfortable. The only comment was on the Sunday morning there were issues keeping the breakfast buffet trays filled as there were families attending a local soccer tournament and they were going through the food quickly.

Great hotel, very clean. Service is exceptional. Rooms are big with 2 TVs, one in bedroom and one in living area. Bathroom was clean. kitchenette. Breakfast included. Dining area by reception with tea and snacks available till late in morning. The staff was very helpful.

Good experience with an excellent staff and comfortable beds. I did not need to adjust the temperature in the room; it was comfortable the whole stay. Never heard the air conditioner come on. It seems silly that there has to be a minimum of 200 words to say good place to stay.

We were pleased to find such nice decor in Rocky Mountain House. This clean hotel had all the amenities we hoped for, with a nice pool, hot tub and waterslide. We loved the large flat screen TV's, and entire hotel seemed new. It is just south of the downtown core, and so you can't walk there, but it very quiet. The mannequin of a waitress on roller skates at the breakfast area seemed a bit out character with contemporary, tasteful decor. Overall, this hotel is a great value!

We stayed overnight here for a wedding. It was CLEAN, new, and perfect. The rooms are well laid out, the bathrooms are spacious enough and the beds are super comfortable. The staff was extremely accommodating and the breakfast was great. We would definitely stay there again if we are passing through Rocky. Just a side note: the pool is not deep, which for our youngest kids (ages 10 and 9) , was great, since we didn't have to worry about them too much. There is also a waterslide, which was a must for my kids.

First room the heat was not working, so they upgraded us to a family suite for free. Rooms where nice & clean, even while the hotel was having a renovation. Pool & water slide where good (as you expect with a Best Western), kids had a great time even with the hot tub not working the 2nd day. Free breakfast was good with enough stuff to please all. We would stay again.

Everything was great - room, service, location amenities. We loved having a closet. The location was perfect for a Payson temple wedding. We loved the full breakfast and the very comfortable beds. Accessibility to I-15 certainly helped, also.

This is the second time that we have stayed here. It was a good stay. Conveniently located, clean and very quiet. Beds were a little hard which led to a somewhat uncomfortable sleep. There was plenty of parking and the stalls are wide so you don't get your vehicle all banged up. We will stay here again.

The hotel staff are super friendly and very helpful. Although the hotel was being renovated on 1st and 2nd floors we did not hear any noise. Room very clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included in, bacon, sausage, eggs, croissants, cereals, yogurt, fruit, tea, juice and coffee.

We come here every month or so and just spent a week on family matters. The place is spotless despite two floors being renovated. Our room was brand new. The hotel is dead quiet and soundproofed. Breakfast is excellent and long hours. Staff is professional. Pets are allowed. Kids played for hours in the water slide and pool area. I don't think it gets much better. I've stayed at some new hotels in the past month and they don't compare to this Best Western.

Stayed here for one night after spending a day exploring Nordegg, Alberta. They are pet friendly, which is why we selected this place. The room was super clean and the beds were extra comfy. The free breakfast was very, very impressive! Waffles, bacon, sausage, breakfast wraps, etc, etc....fully stocked and delicious! I was really impressed with the super friendly staff, Franz checked us out and she was so upbeat and friendly! She was very busy with guests and still treated everyone with a sincere smile which made for a great overall experience. Combination of terrific staff, clean rooms, awesome breakfast, pet friendly.....we will be back!

Love this hotel. have tried others in previous years but they dont compare. Great price, very helpful friendly staff. there is no bar at this hotel so it is always quiet which is perfect as I am always on a business trip when I go to Rocky Mountain House.

I've stayed here a few times, my girlfriend has stayed here many times. Service is great. Girls behind the desk are very friendly and polite. Great location. Super rooms. Super comfy beds. Great shower. Clean rooms. Free cookies lol. The only place to stay in RMH. Number one for a reason!!!!!.

I arrived about 12 noon, Friday aft on Friday, March 4th, 2016, two young gals behind the next with smiles on their faces the size of Montana, they were so friendly, warm, inviting and yes the SMILED, which means a lot to me as u do not see that very often. Did my business at the front desk, all was quick, no problem and went to room 206 and not this faces parking lot, main Hwy, #11, Timmie's but I requested this as I do not like to look of my window and see nothing. No noise level what so ever. Breakfast was great, Kaitlin made sure she took care of the guests and so did the young man on Saturday morning. The room was very spacious, King size bed with the suite and all. The two gals from the front desk are Fran and Ann, and what little gems they are, could not do enough for you. To GM, Ms. C. French you have lovely, warm, inviting people that work for you and B/W, they are keepers. Would I recommend people to stay, in a heart beat. Ms. French you must be doing something right as these people enjoy what they do. Thank you to you as the GM, but mostly to the staff that I spoke to as they are the ones we see and talk to firstly. Wonderful job, keep those SMILES always.

I have been working in Rocky and its been great to come back to a room/hotel that is exceptionally clean and comfortable.. The staff are great they make you feel at home. The hotels amenities are good and easy to access, the pool and gym area is clean. The breakfast is your standard hotel breakfast.(cereal's, waffles, breads, bacon and eggs) They are very attentive to make sure the food is always stocked and hot. WIFI is free and works very well its also very easy to log into. This is also a truly pet friendly hotel which is great to see!!

I've stayed here a few times and find the staff really friendly and helpful. Also, the rooms are always clean and in good condition and roomy. The breakfast has something for most everyone and there's a good selection of coffee available.

BW at Rocky Mountain House Alberta is a great hotel. IMHO it is the best hotel for service and great staff in Rocky. I have stayed at 2 others and wasn't as impressed for cleanliness, quiet and customer service

Very pleased at condition of room for oil patch town. Hotel was awesome....did not have time to use water slide or pool....but everything was very clean. Awesome value for the dollar . Will go there again....actual real non smoking rooms...

My favourite place to stay in Rocky. A very friendly staff. I've stayed there many times and have never been disappointed. I have stayed in the Jacuzzi suite a few times and also the regular rooms. I would not consider another hotel in Rocky.

Staff and amenities were excellent. Great fitness room, clean pool and hot tub.Wonderful family environment, quiet, clean. Breakfast was delicious and convenient. Very friendly and welcoming environment.

This hotel was clean, modern, and had all amenities my husband and I needed. Free internet, free parking, free breakfast, and upon check-in they gave us a free fresh-baked cookie. Couldn't ask for anything more :)

Stayed here three night very good service, very clean rooms and ok breakfast - the only issue was the noise from the other guests - it was hard to get a good night sleep withought ear plugs it is close to restaurant (walking distance) I would stay here again

Great hotel. Great service. Free cookies. Not in the best area . But I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time I'm in the area. Our room was spotless. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Our bathroom was was great, fantastic shower, super hotel.

Very nice place to stay. First hotel coming in from the south. Lots of parking. Directly behind the Tim Hortons. Very friendly staff ready to answer your questions. Very helpful and courteous. Rooms are bright and clean. Bedding is bright and feels sanitary. Bathrooms top notch. Very happy our company books us here when we stay. Complimentary breakfast is excellent. When there was no place to sit the staff opened the board room for us. Nice pool and waterslide. Great for little kids. Lots of clean towels. My stay was a good one.

The women that checked us in was very friendly and professional. Unfortunately I did not get her name. We were upgraded to a suite with Jacuzzi and king bed. It was excellent. While returning to my room with morning coffee a maintenance man saw that my hands were full and immediately came over with a smile and pushed the elevator button for me. The staff was always very pleasant.

Had a great stay in the King-Jacuzzi Suite after we hiked the Siffleur Falls trail. It was clean with a nice roomy layout that included a spacious bedroom. The staff was very helpful and friendly with my pet. Received a dog gift as we arrived. Bed had a great mattress which is what I have come to expect and enjoy at all Best Westerns.

The hotel was fine. It didn't go out of its way to dazzle guests, but it to the lack of the options available, it is the best place to stay in Rocky Mountain House. The rooms were clean, and a comfortable bed. Staff weren't very friendly, which is too bad. The room rate was a little bit high, but due to lack of competition, I guess they can charge a bit more.

This was my first stay at BW in Rocky ... the hotel is easy to access.. very clean and well appointed. The room was well laid out and allowed me the two things I need most - a good work space and a good nights rest.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. We stayed for two nights and were extremely well looked after. Thanks to everyone there. We would recommend your hotel and would also stay again if we re-visit Canada.

Awesome place to stay, great rooms, bed was very comfy, breakfast was good, eggs a little cool. Great coffee. Staff was very helpful an friendly. The girls recommened the Grillers resturant which was amazing. Which it was closer to home!

This hotel is a good choice in terms of convenience, cleanliness, and its quiet location a little ways off the highway. An added bonus were the fresh baked cookies late afternoon and the continental breakfast included in the price.

Rooms very nice and clean. Staff very friendly. Pool area and hot tub spot nice and tidy! Great location for the complementary breakfast. We stayed in a board room, room and having a TV in the dining room area and bedroom was genius. Very quiet in Rocky Mountain House, Tim Hortons a few hundred meters from the entrance...yeah it was a good weekend. Oh there is a slide in the pool area!! It was a hit with my granddaughter! Awesome hotel.

The staff were really friendly. The kids got dollar store toys when they arrived. Which made them very happy after a long road trip. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suit with a jaccuzzi tub. The room was clean, the ameneties were nice. There was a micrwave and fridge. The only thing was that the bedroom was tiny so you could not fit another bed in there such as a twin airmatress for a kid. The free breakfast was excellent. They had sausages, omelets, toast, other types of bread items, muffins, cereal, coffee, a variety of tea and juice + milk. Pretty good eats.
