Best Western Airport Inn & Suites

Not the most expensive hotel I stay in, but one of the best for value for money. Clean and comfy with friendly staff and a fresh breakfast. I would happily stay again. Quiet rooms and comfy bed, close to amenities.

This was not the best, BW I have ever been to. The rooms were clean, however the room was really large with just one small chair to sit in, could have had two or a loveseat. Not enough lamps in the room. Used the washer and dryer took 3 attempts to dry my clothes. The breakfast was just ok. The morning front desk person however was exceptional.

Nice location near airport with restaurants and fast food nearby. Free shuttle to airport a definable plus. The front desk staff and breakfast room attendant were very efficient and friendly. The room was clean and bed comfortable.

When coming to Best Western I was in a touph spot but the staff their made me feel at home. Kenya answered all of my questions and was very hospitable. Laverne made breakfast for the guests in the morning. It was delicous and I wanted to add that she is a kind soul and told me about visiting the historic sites around Charleston.

Next visit I will consider a different hotel. There are a number of properties in this "court of motels " but judging from the number of cars at each property this is the least desirable. Why? Luke warm hot water, service at the front desk and welcome seemed to be an imposition rather than a pleasure. The breakfast had no fresh fruits, cheese or pastries - very low quality institutional fare. Dodgy and off putting caulking work in the bath around toilet, shower and tub. Entering and exiting this court of motels can be a real traffic bugger, especially at rush hour AM. So while the bed was comfortable next visit I will consider alternatives.

on the Best Western app at indicated that there was an airport shuttle. I called the hotel twice to verify that there was an airport shuttle. The answer was yes. I was not informed that the shuttle only runs 7 AM to 11 PM. They gave me three different rooms until I finally decided to just except the third room despite the fact that there was only a hand towel in it Noah, bath towels, and no washcloths, the pillows on one of the beds had no pillowcases, and we're just thrown in the middle of the bed.

This Best Western is a great location and situated near many restaurants and stores. They have friendly and professional staff, great price for what you get. Keyan and Laverne were both friendly and professional. The breakfast is pretty good as well.

Really nice room of decent value. Very nice hot tub, really comfortable bed! Staff was polite and professional. Only complaints were leaky AC that caused a damp carpet with a slight odor and shower didn't drain too well. Overall, great stay!

We booked this hotel because of the shuttle amenity. I triple checked the shuttle would be leaving at 5, we got there a little early and it took 45 minutes for them to even get in contact with someone. We ended up having to take an Uber because it was now 5:30 and we couldn't wait any longer to get to the airport. When we got into our rooms it smelled of chemicals horribly like they just shampooed the carpets and they still needed to dry more, gave everyone a headache and cough. The man receptionist was great, but other than that there was nothing impressive about this trip and I won't be staying at a best western again.

Kenyon was one of the best I've ever encountered at the front desk at a hotel he was so helpful to me and knowledgeable. I would definitely come back because of of him. I will definitely recommend the hotel to my friends the location was great.

The room was clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is within walking distance of several food options, and the complimentary breakfast was a variety of hot and quick items. When we needed shuttle service to get from airport to hotel, they called us an Uber since they had no one on site- at their cost and quickly gave me the info. When we arrived, the front desk had our room keys and paperwork waiting. Super friendly and helpful staff!

Wonderful employees. But they need some updating and revamping to do. I hated the food options and the linens. The mattress was hard and the pillows are so small. To make it great place they have to upgrade. The employees are amazing tho. Especially Mike and breakfast attendees.

Staying at a Best Western is as comfortable as staying at home! The staff is so pleasant; breakfast is plentiful and delicious; rooms are well maintained. We always take advantage of their indoor pools!

Kenyon was so awesome with how patient and courteous he was with my family and I. He referred great food recommendations we will be back just because he represented the hotel so well. The food and location was nice also. Very clean hotel.

It is real hard to choose a hotel when traveling. We choose the right hotel. Good location, not too far af a drive to things to do. Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Traveling back from Savannah, we choose to spend the night at this Best Western. We had a ton of issues with our luggage and vehicle but the check in person, Mr. Kenyon helped us out a lot. He got us an Uber to get back from the airport after dropping our car off to the car rental business. Then (because the Best Western airport shuttle starts at 7:00), Mr.Kenyon called a taxi service for us to pick us up at 6:15 in the morning and get us to the airport. Our rooms seemed very nice (microwave and fridge), even though all we did was shower and sleep in them. They have a breakfast, but we did not have the time to even look into it. I can't say enough for the help we received from Mr. Kenyon, and I wish I could have spent more time at this hotel.

I was impressed when I walked know and smelled how nice the lobby was and how I was greeted by one of the nicest guys he told me his name was Kenyon.He was fast and professional with my check-in .I definitely will be back to stay at only this hotel.

This was a great hotel for the price we paid. We would definitely stay here again! The staff was great, we had a small problem and they went above and beyond to fix our issue! Also nice central location with plenty of parking.

Kenyon was the best front desk I have ever encountered such a great personality and very helpful. The tour guide that doesn't have to move to guide you. Didn't get a chance to try the pool but the morning breakfast was great as well

Good rooms with very comfortable beds. Spent most of my Charleston visit downtown but needed 1 night which was unplanned and didn't want to pay a fortune ( which you do in the historic area ). Price was good, included breakfast was fine, easy and free parking and about a 20 minutes drive in to Downtown.

We just stayed in this hotel for the weekend Nov. 11 & 12 the moment you walk off the elevator on the 4th floor you are struck with the smell of weed, it was over powering, I can not believe that management does not do womething about it, if they "did" not smell it then the housekeeping surly did.

Had an 8 night Stay. On night number 2 I felt something was crawling on me but thought I was tripping. 3rd night went to bed and felt the same thing after not feeling anything all day so I started looking in the bed and it was a few tiny bugs crawling in my bed. Notified the front desk and only switched rooms and was told to talk to manager in the A.M. Manager seemed like she didn't care and wanted to only say it wasn't bed bugs and barely discounted 1 night. I definitely won't be staying at the prospect dr location ever again in Charleston SC

Decent breakfast. Shopping within walking distance. If you choose to Uber, it is super fast as well. Hotel is near affordable eateries. I found the service pleasant but the bed was super uncomfortable.

Was greeted by what I learned was a Navy Veteran great personality Kenyon at check-in. I have to say his customer service is over level 10. This guy is so nice, funny and friendly and will be one of the reasons we will be back. The beds were comfortable and our room was clean and the breakfast was nice and the location of the hotel was great for our activities.

My husband and I booked the suite with the whirlpool in it, but when we tried to run the water, black stuff came out. They expected us to stay in the room, but I demanded a new room and they told me they would take some money off. They took off $20! We were promised cruise shuttle but now are having to pay for a taxi. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

From those that work the front desk, serve the most awesome breakfast, clean and maintain the upkeep of the rooms-they are always ready and willing to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible! It was my first time staying at hotel. The stay was pleasant. Nice, Friendly Front Desk, Housekeeping and Breakfast Crew. The room and beds were nice and clean. Great AC Units in Room. The hotel is also in nice quiet part of town not too far away from airport.

We enjoyed our time at this hotel during our family vacation to Charleston. There were 9 of us and we basically took over half of the hotel. The hotel and rooms were very clean and well kept. The staff was very kind and attentive. We would especially like to mention both Laverne and Cynthia who make our breakfasts. They were so kind and welcoming and made sure we were fueled up for our day. We also would like to acknowledge Kenyon at the front desk. We asked for way too many towels and we appreciated his patience and willingness to help. Overall, we had a great time and and a good sleep every night.

From the moment I entered Best Western Inn & Suites I was greeted by Kenyon and he was beyond professional with his hospitality. He made me feel welcome and that's very rare today. My room was nice and the food and location was great.

I cannot brag about Keyon, the breakfast attendant, and one of the 1st shift front desk agents ENOUGH! So hospitable, friendly, informative, helpful, & they heavily contributed to one of the best hotel stats I've had all year! Not to mention, this is a great hotel with an indoor pool, clean lobby, spotless & fully stocked breakfast area. It really was a home away from home and I absolutely will be going back next time I'm in Charleston!

The gentleman I believe it was Kenyon was so helpful and patient during our check-in at your hotel. This guy was so smart with his food selections for our family and attentive everytime we saw him we were greeted and asked if he could help with anything. I would definitely come back to the Best Western because of him.

We chose this hotel because it was budget friendly and had good hotel.com reviews. Our room on the fourth floor was so musty and had to of had mold covered up. If you are sensitive to chemicals or any bad smells, avoid this place. No fruit at breakfast. We also chose this place for the pool. Well, it was absolutely freezing. Back to the room, you could hear dripping of water in the bathroom, so where is the leak? Mold under the sink lid where the cleaners couldn't see it. The moisture in the hotel room left us all sick. Very sick. We are just now recovering. Maybe, just maybe worth it for one night if you have a layover. But do NOT take your family here unless you want to pay for it later as you recover. I do not like to leave dishonest reviews, so may this one help save another families health and sanity. The End.

I had a wonderful time with my friends at this quick stay. The staff has really nailed good customer service. My favorite was Miss LaVerne. She was so sweet and all embracing with that genuine southern hospitality. It made my heart feel at home. She was kind to every morning face she encountered and wanted to make sure everyone had fresh food.

The hotel wasn't fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. (The bed of the pullout couch was a bit short for tall people, but otherwise all was good.) The breakfast was good—with eggs, sausage links, sausage gravy, biscuits, bagels, toast, a waffle machine, yogurt, oatmeal packets, coffee, tea, etc. The woman who ran the breakfast area, LaVerne, did a great job of making sure everything was stocked and tidy. She really takes pride in her work—and it shows! It was really nice to have a yummy breakfast to go down to each morning of our stay.

Our Airbnb did not work out and we needed to find a place quickly. We were lucky to get one of their last rooms (we booked through Expedia). Kenyon at the front desk was swamped! He was so nice and helpful. The other staff members were also great. The room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Our weekend started with a rough bump and our stay here smoothed it out. Thank you.

What makes this stay very good is the staff... top to bottom they do the little things to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This is a regular hotel. Not a 3.5 or 4 star Hotel. It is clean and quiet. And again, the staff is excellent.

I came down for a day trip to visit friends & was pleasantly surprised with the service. I've never had a bad experience before but it was super easy w the help of th front desk assistant, Kenyon B. He helped recommend local places to dine & even assisted when i requested extra pillows for my room. If i am ever in need of a place to stay I will definitely return to the hotel.

After traveling for hours I was greeted by Kenyon to say he was phenomenal would be an understatement. Warm conversation with a smile, He had me checked in in no time at all. He also provided me with a good restaurant to dine. Kenyon even went out of his was to help me with the gps directions on my phone after I told him I didn't know anything about phones or the area. Loved our stay, room was clean, front desk clerk was very welcoming and friendly. Overall hotel was kept clean. The breakfast was EXCELLENT. Laverne was EXCELLENT as well. She made sure that every guest was satisfied with their breakfast. My 8 year old who is picky with hotels was satisfied as well of how well the hotel smelled, and again how clean it was.

Friendly man in the lobby welcomed our tired souls after a day of traveling. Our room was big and the bed was comfortable. The rooms are not modern if that matters to you, but they are clean. Nice area in North Charleston with surrounding hotels and dining options. Quick uber to the cruise pier the next morning.

This property was very clean and in a very safe place. They offer a shuttle to the airport which was driven by Joe who I absolutely loved. I had a great time conversating with him on the way to the airport. Laverne did a wonderful job on the buffet which was one of the nicest hotel breakfasts I've had. The office manager Kenya was helpful as well. I had to say this whole experience was an excellent one.

I booked an overnight stay for a family trip to Charleston from Atlanta Georgia. Check in was great, the front desk agent was friendly, I asked for extra pillows, blankets and towels they were provided quickly. The rooms were clean, the hallways were vaccumed. Breakfast was great, Ms Laverne was very sweet and friendly. She made sure the breakfast area was clean and made sure we got everything we needed. Great Customer service from staff. I will definitely book at this hotel again.

It was a Delight to see LaVerne every morning for breakfast!!! She was very friendly and helpful. She also made sure the dining area was clean ! Plenty of food was available! She made our morning better !

The elevator smells much better than the rooms, they give me three other rooms and they smell just same. But I don't think I will ever stay here again, pillow case on the bed old, I motel 6 would of done a better job.

This was my first time ever booking a trip solo & I really can say that I enjoyed myself. I traveled from Tallahassee, Florida to South Carolina to come visit a friend. I will be making reservations again soon.

The breakfast was great. My and family and I stayed the July 4th weekend. Breakfast included eggs, biscuits, sausage, gravy and waffles, yogurt etc. Laverne was very sweet and helpful and the food tasted great. We have 2 small children so we always try to make sure that the menu includes lots of options and it did. Yogurt, cereal, even toppings for the waffles. Great job Laverne!

This hotel was chosen because of its prorximity to the airport and its complimentary airport shuttle. Imagine our surprise and concern early Sat. morning when we requested the shuttle to make our flight and were told that "new management" had discontinued the service on weekends! Fortunately, a staff person made a quick decision to override the unfair change of policy. Very poor choice on management's part. Hopefully, new management will reconsider inconveniencing their customers, travel is stressful enough right now.

Great hotel! The best part was the breakfast as Laverne was an amazing host every morning! We stayed for a few days and every morning she would say good morning and ask how we were doing. Great customer service, the best I have had at a hotel in a long time.

As soon as we walked in, Kenya greeted us with amazing customer service! The hotel was neat, clean, and had soft beds! The rooms provided us with everything we needed, the workout room was really great, and the breakfast was hot and like home cooking. But the personnel is what keeps us coming back. They treated us like family. I've never enjoyed staying at a hotel as much as this one. I highly recommend this place!!

I think his name is Kanyon he was so great and funny in the breakfast last weekend. when he help and had so much delicious food in the smiling and being so nice with everyone. You dont see great customer service like this anymore good to see.

We read other reviews and made us hesitant to stay. Once we arrived the gentleman made sure we were checked in and explained the necessary things about the hotel. Online reservation made it quicker being that is was mothers day weekend and there were graduations in the area, We would stay again!

I enjoyed my stay at Best Western Hotels. The room was comfortable and clean. The food was good. The staff was very helpful. The hotel was located near the airport and train station. I had a good time.

The staff was great, all of them! So friendly! The location was really good! The breakfast wasn't good at all, but there was a Cracker Barrel next door basically, it was decently clean, something needed a extra wiping down and the shower curtain looked like it had been through it but overall decent place to stay for a quick stay

Good basic stay. Close to airport. Very convienent. Friendly staff. Only downside was you had to ask for certain things like shampoo but no big issue. Breakfast was good basic but adequate for the traveler

There were two issues. The first was they ran out of eggs at breakfast supposedly because truck didn't come and based on other reviews I asked for a room away from street noise side but didn't get it, so there was some noise issues. However everything else was perfect. Cleanliness was excellent and the front desk staff was great. The room was very comfortable and had all amenities you would want. The minor problems I experienced certainly would not prevent me from staying there again.

Room was clean and fresh, bathroom was clean, nothing negative to mention. Towels and linens were fresh & clean. I was considering staying at an extended stay type hotel but the reviews of them all noted bed bugs, roaches, and marijuana smell, so I decided to pay the few extra $ for Best Western and it was well worth it.

Booked and paid for the Executive Suite. Arrived for check in…….Put in a double room that smelled like a dead animal had been under the bed for weeks. Staff had a “I don't care” attitude. Not helpful at all. Left the hotel and booked another hotel. Do not recommend.

This Best Western was okay at best. The lobby area was clean however they did not properly clean the bathroom in our room. In the shower there were two used soap bars and a razor from previous guests. We checked in late and did not see if until the next morning when we went to shower. They were clearly visible if the shower was checked and cleaned! At checkin we were required to provide our credit card for a $50 hold for incidentals. Seems a little high to put a $50 hold on our credit card for a one night stay. They told us at checkin they would remove the hold when we checked out. At check out the person at the desk seemed annoyed that we were asked to check out. He asked for our room keys, never asked for our room number, and never asked how the stay was. We should note the hotel is close to the highway and there is little sound proofing in the windows so there can be a lot of road noise. The only reason given the three stars is the beds were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was nice. There are a lot of other hotel options in the area so next time we will probably look at a different option.

Good location (quiet yet convenient), breakfast (variety of hot/cold items, lots to choose from in spacious room), & clean - great value, would highly recommend & will definitely be staying here again.

When I checked in, the room keys I was provided did not work. The woman at the front desk was nice and set us up in a room until the next morning. In that temporary room BOTH of the pictures fell off the wall scaring us to death. when moved to the original room. on ONE key worked. And even that didn't work. But there were no other rooms available. So we were locked out pretty much the whole time. On top of that there was BARELY and hot water. When the temperature was all the way "hot" it was lukewarm. And the pressure was so soft. The maintenance man came quickly to not fix anything. It was an uncomfortable stay.

Call before booking they have plumbing issues. Front desk confirmed new person in training and did not follow proper protocol when addressing room with plumbing issue. Lack of training and also front desk came off snobby and unprofessional. But hey it's best western so you get what you pay for. Choose the embassy folks and save the headache.

The breakfast was super satisfying! The staff are welcoming and very helpful. Special mention to the dining staff LAVERNE who went above and beyond during our whole breakfast dining experience. She made our stay extra special.

This location always gives Excellent Customer Service. More importantly, they make the effort to ensure I enjoy my stay.The staff are helpful and personable. Admittedly, I have several other options when I travel to Charleston, but Best Western Plus Airport location is my first choice.

I mean….it's ok. If you need a reasonably priced place to stay. This is it. It is fairly updated and seems clean, but it could be a little freshened up. It has a slightly odd smell. Not bad, but not good. The beds seems a little hard. I don't know that I would pick this one again out the of 4 others that are literally in the same little spot. I had also chose this hotel for the shuttle to the airport. That is a big plus if you are visiting someone that is stationed here and they have a car.

Enjoyed this hotel stay! VERY clean and spacious room with a very pleasant clean smell. Staff was so amazing friendly helpful got the VIP treatment right from check in to check out with all special request. Felt like this is where miracles can happen. Staff went above and beyond for everything both day and late night trip to car. My family appreciated being welcomed and wanted as a guest.

Great experience! Everyone was especially nice and the room was wonderful! The breakfast buffet was exceptional and make even better by LaVerne! She was there each morning when I went down to breakfast and always made sure the guests had what they needed during breakfast!! She definitely went above and beyond!! We arrived to Charlotte SC for our sons Graduation,fromthe U.S Navy Nuclear School,Upon Arriving after landing everything went east.our flight package was lost from the company we ordered it from,One hour gone after a long flight we finally got our rent a car,proceeded to the booked hotel(QUALITY INN) In Goose Creek, on Red Bank Rd. Once arriving to the original hotel that was booked i was uneased by the sight that awaited my family and I, Once inside the room it got worse The floor was flooded, dirty smelly room,my wife went to wash her hands and roaches came from out of the sink faucet and breathing holes of the sink. we were done. we Immediately left made a last minute reservation at Best Western Airport Inn & Suites 2470 Prospect Dr, North Charleston, SC 29406-443.The time was about 0130 we were checked in by Cynthia at the front desk with no problems,we were resting by 0140,to the crew Miss Cathy The Manager You and your crew preformed beyond expectation Shelay a great smiling face thank you so much and Kortn.thanks for the great hospitality.Thank you for everything Best Western.

Ms. Laverne, who was working breakfast was delightful, helpful, and the best thing this place had! She was the only saving grace!! We stayed here recently. We booked the room through Booking.com. Upon checking in we gave a different card than used to originally book the room to be held for charges if needed. Instead, we were charged for the room, again! When this was disputed we were originally told this was Booking's fault!! Then we were told this would be taken care of. It is going on 2 weeks and now I am being told that they will not speak to me because the reservation was in my BFs name, but the card is in my name. You can't speak with me but you had no problem taking a card in my name while the reservation was under his!!! Secondly, the room smelled! It honestly smelled as if they had tried to clean the carpets but had not let it dry? It was damp and musty, making all of our items smell! The pool was nice but the water is cold! The only saving grace for this place is the breakfast was nice and Laverne assisting people that morning was delightful and nice! She was very helpful and pleasant! The only good thing about this hotel!

Our rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. Laverne and Cynthia did a FANTASTIC job of keeping all the breakfast items filled for the many guests. They both had sweet personalities and helpful dispositions to start our day! They both really hustled to keep everything fresh and filled! The desk staff were very polite and helpful. They had extra towels, soap, and blankets instantly when requested. We were always greeted with a smile. Our kids loved using the indoor pool. This hotel is about 15-20 minutes from downtown. It was definitely worth staying a little ways out in order to find a cheaper rate. Beds were quite comfortable.

The breakfast bar was fresh, hot and fully stocked! There was a variety of meats and breads. The options were not limited. Ms. Laverne was very friendly and keep the counters clean. I hope to visit again soon.

The food was great and Laverne made it feel like you were in your mama's kitchen. Very hospitable and anything anyone needed she was immediately there to help. There was real food, not just muffins and fruit, like most airport hotels. I would definitely stay again just based on my experience at breakfast. The rooms are ok.

Laverne was amazing! She ran around making sure everyone got everything that they needed. She had a great southern hospitality. We came to breakfast at 930, and there wasn't a lot of food left. She cooked food for us and made sure we got everything we wanted. It was a great start to our vacation. Laverne was amazing! I would come back here just for her southern hospitality.

Took a weekend trip and wanted an affordable hotel. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was good with a few good hot items. The staff was all great, especially Larverne, she made breakfast time a very wonderful experience. She was energetic, helpful, and super nice.

Great staff. From my initial arrival I was treated with the utmost courteously and dedication to service. From Ms. Kenya who checked me in, to Ms. Laverne who prepared breakfast every morning like clock work for the first and myself. The food was amazing and my room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The housekeeping team, although I've never met, made sure I came back to a fresh bed during my stay at the Best Western. I appreciate the service and will definitely stay again on my next visit through Charleston SC.

The workers at this Best Western were extremely friendly. One of the workers Laverne was a great woman who was super nice to my family from the first day of our visit. She went out of her way to get to know us and checked in to see how we were doing the next day at breakfast.

The breakfast was good. Everything tasted great. Laverne and Cynthia were very friendly to me and family. Showed me how to use the waffle machine when I didn't know what I was doing. A Pleasant experience!

WOMEN ARE NOT SAFE AT THIS LOCATION! I REPEAT : WOMEN ARE NOT SAFE AT THIS LOCATION! I brought my wife to see the Air Force base and we booked for 3 nights. I got up early to go down to the car for a smoke and to grab breakfast from the lobby. There I bumped into "Kenyan" the maintenance manager, exchanged pleasantries & let him know I'd be right back, I had to run to my room. I let my wife know I would bring breakfast and we'd be heading out to the base so start getting ready. I was back on the elevator and not even a full floor down and my wife calls me screaming that a man entered our room, she's nude and he won't leave. I get back to the room and it's Kenyan, the maintenance manager that I was just standing talking to in the lobby. He didn't ride the elevator with me, he took the stairs to get to my room and waited for me to get back on the elevator to enter my room. Kenyan busted into the room and refused to leave or allow my wife to get dressed saying he has a suspicious alarm going off. When I got back to my floor he is yelling at my terrified naked wife that he's calling the cops because he smelled smoke. She was sleeping, I had just talked to him about running to the car for a smoke. We gather our things and go sit in the car and wait for the police. The officers that came let us know this happens quite often with Kenyan and advised us to call corporate to report him. We called this location to ask for the number. I simply asked for the corporate number and was told she "doesn't have time for this bulls***". Not only did I not get refunded for the 2 nights, I was also charged a cleaning fee which is laughable. I booked this online without out checking the reviews. Please understand, upon arrival we complained to the front desk about the smell and about the black mold in the bathtub. There was a full on tailgating party going on in the parking lot and panhandlers on the corner - this isn't the Best Western brand that I've always known. As a Veteran that travels frequently - I will never spend money at a Best Western again and highly recommend this location be avoided at all costs.

Staff was very friendly and helped us find our way after an exhausting trip. LaVerne in particular was very sweet and accommodating, she continued to check in on my friends and I to ensure we were having a great stay. Lovely woman and lovely time, I'd highly recommend coming here!

Laverne is a shining light at the Best Western in North Charleston. She was kind, helpful, and an absolute joy. She makes the Best Western breakfast even better! Highly recommend staying here just to see her!

The room we stayed at was very comfortable, the location is good (aprox. 24 minutes drive from the historic center of the city). Breakfast served by Laverne was the best! There was plenty of variety and she was very attentive, always making sure everything was replenish and that everything was ok with our food.

The front desk clerk was very friendly and informative. We spent only one night and sleep great. The bed was comfortable, the place was quiet and clean. The breakfast was adequate and opened at 6 a.m. Parking is limited,

From the moment I booked to the time we checked out, my family's experience at BW was great. Kenya Williams customer service was the absolute best. She was very friendly and helpful. My family and I will stay here again.

The hotel and staff were very professional, breakfast was enjoyable though limited in offerings. But the main disqualifier is traffic on Ashley Phosphate Rd. which effects very badly on ingress and egress to the hotel.

Rooms where cleaned , everything worked the only thing our fridge didn't have a knob to adjust temperature but called front desk and they took care of it right away, and the bathroom had dispensers for shampoo Audi wash and conditioner and none were filled when asked they said they were replacing them.

BW room was terrible not cleaned, toilet overflowed twice, the room smelled, refrigerator was broke, the microwave was nasty, the breakfast what is nothing. The staff wasn't very helpful. I will never go to a Best western again.

My experience with Best Western has been consistently positive. I appreciate the pricing, rewards, and customer service. The North Charleston location has become like a second home over the past few months. This is mostly because of the staff who are always helpful and pleasant

The hotel was wonderful! The front desk helped us solve our booking issue (got charged twice by mistake) without any problem, and all the staff were sooo nice and welcoming. The housekeepers are excellent!! We got into the hotel and our room with everything smelling extremely clean and fresh. The breakfast was very good too: sausage links/patties, biscuits, scrambled eggs, juice/coffee, etc. We got to enjoy the swimming pool as well which is heated and so relaxing! Will definitely stay here again!! I wish all hotels were like that.

I would not call this a "Hotel" because almost all reputable hotel must follow certain standards under franchise agreement but many of these owners just don't care. This particular place was filthy, smell of mold was evident, carpet filthy and old and above it all, prostitutes were within few hundred feet of the location standing around the corner which was not safe. Even hotel staff told us that do not leave once it's dark because it's not safe??!!!?? So how the heck I am supposed to eat dinner??

Stayed here on the 3rd of April while visiting. Front desk lady whose husband is in the Navy is very friendly! The room 312 was infested with black mold. Curtains next to the AC, bathroom door, ceiling

The hotel was just okay. Loud guests. No masks throughout hotel. Dirty pool. Poor check in. Housekeeping was rude. Price was good and a few front desk clerks were accommodating. Masks were not enforced.

We booked a pet friendly hotel online. When we arrived, we carried our two small dogs into the hotel the first night. We walked right by the manned desk with no objection. After two days, the desk person approached us and said they did not allow pets. Even though I showed him my booking information, he gave us no choice but to leave or have police come and eject us. They gave us 10 minutes to leave. It was very upsetting.

I want to thank Kenyon for his great customer service and time he took to make sure we were checked in property and our room had everything we needed. Kenyon made our stay so enjoyable. The hotel was great, loved how close it was to restaurants and shopping areas.

It took an hour to check in! I arrived 2 hours after speaking to the hotel through Agoda. Agoda charged my card and told me I was good to check in. I arrived and was told my card was declined. I get Agoda on the line and they verified my card was fine and they received payment. It took another almost hour of me calling Agoda back and the hotel clerk. Finally I spoke with Shane at Agoda who told me the hotel canceled the Agoda card that they used on my reservation by mistake.Instead of them still checking me in because they new Agoda had their payment, they had us sitting there until 12:30 in the morning. Never again will I stay at this hotel

The property is outstanding . Convieniently located. The manager Kathy has been a standard of excellence in every interaction . Note : I do not say that lightly as I stay 200-250 nights let year over various chains 7 of the last 10 years . Due to her value of patronage, courtesy and professionalism this has been added as a preferred stay for myself and recommendation for my peers. Even in COVID times they excelled as best possible. Much appreciated. Highly recommended.

My room was great and I had no problems with anything while I was there. The hotel staff was great also.Want to give a thank you to Cynthia and LaVerne they made breakfast a wonderful time. The food was always hot and good. There was a lot to chose from. The front desk was also very nice. They also had cookies everyday in the evening for you at the front desk.

We stayed here one night. I was not impressed that military discount was NOT acceptable in this hotel on this day. We were running late that evening and not pre booked. The web rate was $79-00. We were charged $99-00 +$16-00 tax on a walk in. The room was quite nice.

Outers the lobby and in the halls were very offensive room was great not a good selection of food kept running out of everything only offered an apple or orange and had to be there to get it no healthy options lots of waffles if you're a waffle eater. Staff was very friendly handled everything well fridge raider was run down needed it extensively did help by putting stuff downstairs in their fridge.

Kenyon at the front desk and Mr Joe who drives the shuttle in the evening are fantastic with customer service. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Breakfast service was simple and delicious. Easy shuttle service to and from airport.

My family stayed here 2 nights. The staff were very kind and made us feel like home. Laverne was in the breakfast area. She was very accommodating and the food was great. I can't thank her enough for making breakfast for us. The rooms were nice and the hotel had a clean smell. Not an overwhelming perfume cleaner smell but a nice natural clean smell. Definitely would stay here again thanks to the people! The front desk staff were also super friendly and helpful. I really felt like this was a family in just a few hours.

The room service is wonderful, they refresh your room every day. They serve a real hot breakfast from 6am until 10am, how awesome it that. The building itself on the inside looks nice, and smells fresh and clean.

I think once you got use to the location of this property, the location would become easier to get around. There are a lot of restaurants In this area. as well as stores. My flight was early so I didn't have breakfast. I did use the pool and loved that. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, nice sleep and great full breakfast bar (protein included) Near other restaurants like Cracker Barrel and Ihop... you wouldn't have to go to far to eat out. The interstate "I26" is right there...

Everyone here is super nice. My daughter says her favorite things from this stay were the cookie she was given when she got here, the indoor pool which was clean and had towels available, and the breakfast (especially the bacon). I loved how clean the rooms were, how kind everyone of the staff have been from the employee that checked us in, the staff we encountered while staying here and especially the woman that were running the breakfast (Cynthia and Leverne). Cynthia and Leverne made sure the breakfast was a step above what someone expects at a hotel. The waffle set up had several toppings to go on top. The hot breakfast was cooked perfectly and the yogurt station was a first for us! Both Cynthia and Leverne were full of smiles and were so positive to everyone that came in the breakfast area. Leverne asked if we needed help with anything and made breakfast very enjoyable. We stay in a lot of hotels because we have to travel constantly due to my daughter's medical needs and both my daughter and I agree, this was one of the best experiences! Thank you to everyone there that makes it a positive, relaxing stay.

The room was nice and clean. I thought the room was a little small. The cafeteria was nice and the food was good however the person whom was on the floor on the 17th of February was not mindful of the amount of food on the buffet line. My husband and I has to wait a few minutes before we could eat our food. The person working on the 16th made sure to keep everything full until breakfast was over and made sure the food was hot.

Mrs. Laverne did an incredible job with breakfast. All the dishes remained attended and nothing ran out during breakfast hours. Her customer service was friendly to all the guest and her smile made the atmosphere that much better.

I believe that this was a fairly new motel. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very nice.It was in a good location-near restaurants, shopping mall and I26 which takes you to downtown Charleston.

Upon arrival for a reservation that I had, I was greeted by the front desk staff. He seemed a bit rude as he begin to teell me that since I live with 50 miles of the property that I had to pay a $250 CASH deposit to rent the room. I almost turned around and left but the rooms are comfy. I paid the stupid deposit and got my money back upon check out. The way it is ran is like a pay-by-the-hour flophouse instead of a professional business.

I love this hotel! Great staff with great customer service. The rooms are affordable and the jacuzzi suite is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious thanks to LaVerne, she was great! Will be coming back when I visit North Charleston again

We stayed here after working a very late night event. The hotel and the room were clean and the breakfast looked good - although we didn't have time to eat as we had to be back to clean up after the event. My only issue was with the curtains in the room which didn't close all the way, thus letting in lights from the parking lot and the sunrise, which was a nuisance.

Hotel is clean with a friendly staff. Has a nice indoor pool and gym. Very convenient location near the airport with many restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast is excellent as far as hotels go. Better than any others I've stayed at. Eggs, omelettes, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and even fun toppings for the waffles. Cynthia was so nice and her breakfast service was fantastic!

I LOVED this hotel it looked brand new even though it's been there for 15 years great service, clean rooms great breakfast comfortable beds. Close to the interstate not far from shops and food best stay.

My Mom, daughter and I are in Charleston for a gymnastics meet this weekend and stayed at the Best Western Airport Inn & Suite North Charleston. We've been to a lot of hotels that offer breakfast, but this hands down was the best breakfast that we've ever had. It was delicious and exceeded all of our expectations. There were healthy choices for my gymnast, hot breakfast items for my Mom and custom waffles for me. To top it off, Laverne was friendly, helpful and always had a smile on her face. If we're ever back in Charleston, we'll stay here again.

We stayed here for one night after a cruise and before we headed out to North Carolina. I chose this hotel because it has an indoor pool, breakfast, and free airport shuttle service. We arrived a bit earlier than planned but were accommodated immediately. We went to the pool, perfect size for a 4 and 7 year old as it goes from 3-5ft only. It wasn't anything fancy, but it was clean, warm, and they had plenty of fresh towels. The inside has a nice touch with the red doors and nice decorations. The room was very spacious and clean, with a fridge and a microwave. We couldn't get the tv to work, but we didn't really need to watch it so we didn't call about it. The room had a nice sitting area and two pretty comfortable queen sized beds. I think the couch was a pull-out, but we didn't use it. Two of our lamps had outlets that didn't work, it took about 45 min for them to come replace them, but I think it was because there was a shift change. The new person sent someone over immediately. The location is right across the street from a McDonald's, and directly behind an iHop and Crackle Barrel which is very convenient. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had at a hotel, the lovely ladies that work the breakfast buffet, Cynthia and Lavern, were very accommodating. They had corned beef hash (which I haven't had since I was a kid), eggs, bacon, pan sausage, link sausage, waffles, yogurt bar, and of course fresh fruit and a bread selection, including biscuits for the biscuits and gravy. Overall, I would most certainly stay here again. My kids loved it.

It was wonderful to have a shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. Updated throughout and modern. Room was comfortable and warm. Instant hot water and very clean. Coffee was hot and ready with an ample hearty breakfast with bacon, sausage and corned beef hash. Close restaurants within walking distance. Definitely would stay again.

This was me and my family first time visiting Charleston we really enjoyed the breakfast and Mrs.Cynthia was very nice and pleasant. The food was delicious. Some of the best I've had at a hotel. We would stay again.

We stayed here for four nights in January, 2020. We booked our stay on the basis of location, the Best Western Rewards program, the reviews and the reasonable price compared to other properties in the vicinity. We were impressed immediately upon entering by the quality of the staff. Cathy at the reception desk was exceptionally engaging, capable and efficient. She really made us feel comfortable and at home. We had read in reviews about the cheeriness and welcoming personalities of the breakfast staff and were not to be disappointed. Cynthia and LaVerne made each morning special with both their positive attitudes and capable service. Among the best breakfast experiences we have had in a hotel. Our room was attractive and comfortable and the firmness of the bed was perfect for us. We visit family in Charleston a couple of times each year and this Best Western will be our "go to" plce in the future!

Great stay was greeted by Kenyon at the front desk he has some of the best customer service skills that I have seen in a long time. Then I saw him cleaning and maintaining the front of the hotel, very busy guy and still had time to help guest with there need. I was very impressed.

We came in to check in just as breakfast was over but they allowed my family of 12 to sit down and enjoy our meal. They even made more to accommodate all of us. Cynthia was very helpful and so kind. Amazing hospitality :)

Cynthia at The Best Western had the most AMAZING customer service I've ever experienced! Not only that the breakfast spread was outstanding! Eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, breakfast sandwiches, waffle bar, bagels, danishes, fresh served yogurt and every topping you can think of! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The women in charge of breakfast were awesome. They made us feel welcomed from the moment we stepped in to the area. Cynthia and the other lady were so friendly and made sure we had everything that we needed. They even carried on a conversations with us while we ate. They interacted with all of the guests and there display of the food was flawless. The area was so clean. The food not only looked good but it taste good as well. Today's New year's day She cooked a excellent breakfast this morning she talked to us and she helped us with our meal and talk about the company of the breakfast times and stuff like that she was very nice and polite and well helpful. On 12.30.19 my husband and I enjoyed an amazing breakfast. The nice lady in the breakfast bar was amazing and kept the food hot. I believe she said her name was Cynthia. She was very friendly and polite. I wish all hotels had amazing people like her. It makes traveling nice when you encounter nice people willing to help.

My daughter & I stayed here for several nights while attending a conference. Kelly, at the front desk, greeted us warmly & was very efficient with our late night check-in & was able to answer any questions we had about the area. She even gave us a quicker alternate route to the convention center. We especially loved Cynthia, who greeted each guest with a big smile & a friendly "Good morning" as they entered the breakfast area each morning. She kept the area very neat & clean & ensured the hot food bar was well supplied regardless of the time we went in for breakfast. The hotel itself was clean & well-maintained, but we were most impressed with their excellent customer service!

Kenyon was amazing he helped us with everything loved his personality and knowledge level, he was all 10's with is!!!!!I saw Kenyon help guest and help keep the hotel clean all with a smile its rare to find great customer service when your any where. My 93 yr. old mom and I have stayed here about 3 weeks. We enjoy the peaceful, quiet atmosphere. The employees are joyful, friendly and do their jobs well. Loraine is one of the friendly cooks here. She is second to none, with her great cooking. I have seen her run the breakfast kitchen by herself. She strives to keep everything clean. You should see her keeping all of us hungry people happy! She also has a great personality.

Everything met or exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was good with bacon every day. Breakfast personnel did a great job and very friendly. Only question was billing me 2 days before my stay. Location was not as close to main part of Charleston that I wished.

Our family has stayed at this hotel at least 3-4 times. Every time we visit this hotel, we are blown away by the cleanliness of the hotel rooms, but overall we are outstanded by the genuine hospitality that this hotel's staff gives our family. One morning at breakfast, we were greeted by two of the women that prepared our delicious breakfast, Mrs. Cynthia and Tasha. They were so very kind and were eager to bring us what we needed, since my mother is handicapped and has trouble walking. These two ladies were so wonderful and just as you would imagine, the kindness didn't stop there. All I can say is thank you to this hotel staff for a wonderful experience every single time we come.

My stay at the Best Western was enjoyable. Did not know the area well came to see my sons graduation. The room was large and very clean. The bed comfortable and i could control the heat. Was not bothered by any loud noises. Breakfast comes with room and was excellent with a wide variety of choices from eggs and sausage and fried potatoes to cereal to waffles or yogert and fruit. They have a pool and fitness center i loved but had no time to use. Used computer in business center to secure airport passes. After some long days enjoyed coming back to the hotel!

Hotel has easy access to the highway, and easy drive to the airport. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The lobby was pretty and smelled wonderful! Room was very nice, sheets and towels were a bit rough but overall it was a great location. I had to leave too early for breakfast, but the breakfast area looked really nice.

My service organization held our recent conference here. I must say that the hotel staff was extremely attentive to our accommodations. I also want to highlight the hospitality provided by Front Desk Manager, Kenyon. He made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Great customer service!

My family and I was visiting Charleston for two occasions. One it was birthday and the other was to see my daughter off because she has been deployed over seas for the next 2 years. The trip had turned out to be a enlightening one due to the history of Charleston. While being in the city the hotel was very accommodating when it had came to myself and the family.

Everyone there was so nice to us. We got a lot of good tips for our trip and they even gave us some discounts coupons! They were quick to help and even joke around with us! One of the best parts of our stay at the hotel was a woman by the name of Laverne that worked breakfast. She was so incredibly sweet to us. She went above and beyond. My grandfather kept wanting to adopt her! I hugged her when we left and thanked her for making us feel so welcome. I cant stress enough how great our stay was because of the people who worked there. We left to head home wanting to make sure to redo our Charleston trip again one day and I hope everyone will still be there when we stay there the next time.

We found this BW to be an okay stay for the night. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful, even though he was very busy. The A/C in our room was pretty noisy when the compressor cut in and out. We could not get the wifi to connect to either of our devices in the evening. We had to use our phones as hotspots. The next morning, I was able to connect, but my husband could still not get connected. The breakfast had lots of choices, but the poor girl working could not keep up with the large group that was there at once.

Myself,fiance and 2 teenage children had came to the area on a family emergency. We made reservations with another local hotel on line in the midst of our 3 hour drive. When we got to the other motel it was a nightmare. After 3 hours of trying to get a refund from them so I could leave and go else where. We ended up at the Best western. This was the highlight of a VERY bad day. The woman at the front desk was super helpful, compassionate and had some of the best customer service skills I have ever witnessed. Check in was quick and easy. The room and entire facility was clean and very welcoming. The beds and pillows outstanding for hotel standards. The breakfast was by far one of the best free breakfast I have ever had. The ladies in the dining area were super sweet and helpful. The front desk man at checkout was very helpful, we are not from the area and were needing some help navigating around and he meet our every need without any hesitation. All together Best Western was my only highlight to a very bad day. Will definitely make this our ONLY option any time in town and will recommend it to anyone I know visiting the area. Thank you Best Western for being my light on a very dark day.

Refreshing to have workers actually care about the job they were doing. Hotel was clean and welcoming. Support staff at breakfast was cheerful, attentive and willing to help. We had never been to the area before and were given great suggestions of what to see and do.

This hotel had the friendliest staff. The breakfast was the best with so many choices. I would like to name a few of the staff.... Kenya, Cynthre,Layern, Kelly, Kenyon and Mike. I wish I would have gotten more names to write down. The ladies in the breakfast area were so serving and friendly talking to the guests. They made sure we got everything we wanted. They went above and beyond. The front desk was so helpful and friendly. I cannot say enough about this hotel staff. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and not a bad thing to say.

Laverne was very sweet. We loved the service at breakfast. It was a very nice hot breakfast. Our hotel room was nice also and I loved the decorations and style of the rooms. Overall it was a good experience and very close to Charleston.

Safe location, clean & updated hotel, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, fair price... no complaints whatsoever with this hotel. Visited for a doctor's appointment at MUSC, about a 15 minute drive away.

Laverne is someone I want to work at my restaurant! Her upbeat personality makes coming downstairs for breakfast totally worth it! She makes a great breakfast and keeps everything so clean! Thank you Laverne!!!

Easy access to major highway, ample parking, close to many restaurants. Appears to have been remodeled recently. Drinks in the lobby 24/7 and a better than most breakfast. Friendly staff, bright decor and well maintained.

This is not easy to find tucked away off 1-26 but it is very convenient to the airport. The breakfast was ok, nothing special. Rooms were adequate but needed a facelift bathroom had those horrible shower gels and shampoos on the wall of the shower. Only one nice little bottle of skin Lotion that needed a big squeeze to get anything out. Perfectly OK for a night but not much more.

This hotel has clean rooms. The room decor is nice and modern. The free breakfast is the best I have had. Most free breakfast is dry bagels, cereal, fruit, maybe a waffle. Not here. The breakfast has a variety of meats, waffle bar, eggs, biscuits, etc . The staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here and will return the next time I am in the area.

Overall my spouse and I had a good stay. However, we paid for transportation to and from the local Port. To the Port transportation to the Port was good, but the pickup from the Port took over an hour and 10 minutes, which was unacceptable.

Our breakfast was excellent and Cynthia was very friendly and pleasant. The hotel grounds were well kept. It was close to shopping mall and restaurants. Thankfully, a department store was near as my husband forgot to pack a few items.

I enjoyed my stay at your hotel. Great location and everyone was extremely polite. The breakfast was awesome and a great start to my mornings. Cynthia was really helpful and even recommended some local sites to see while I was in town. I looked forward to seeing her face in the morning and nice conversation and food she provided. If all hotels had employees like her I wouldn't mind traveling as much as I do. Can't wait until my next trip to Charleston.

We had 2 rooms for 8 people. It was perfect! The beds are comfortable as were the pullout couch beds. The pool os nice and has a locked door to enter which we appreciatated. There 2 people who smoked in our party, the smoking area was very nice. If ever we go back we will definitely stay here again!

This hotel is one to remember whenever you visit Charleston. The staff - front desk, maintenance, and breakfast personnel - make a wonderful team. The breakfast was incredible: real bacon, corned beef hash, eggs! And lots of it! Everything was clean and comfortable. It's not in downtown Charleston, but it's worth the few extra miles to stay here.

This hotel is very convenient to the airport and downtown Charleston. Service was excellent. The free breakfast was the best. LaVern was great making sure everything was always filled and hot. She also made a point to say goodmorning to everyone she saw. She is gem!

I had no complaints with the staff but the outside road noise was terrible unless you are a very heavy sleeper.i choose this best western because it was a best western plus but the noise level ruin that.

This Best Western was top of the line all the way! The moment we walked in until we left everyone was professional and welcoming. We felt like royalty here. The rooms are super clean, the personel all shifts at the desk are knowledgeable about the area and activities. Every time you enter the door they welcome you back. The breakfast was delicous and the staff Cynthia, went above and beyond to assist you and make sure you had just what you needed!! The house keeping do a wonderful job and make sure your comfortable. I would stay here time after time! Best vacation ever I didn't want to leave.

Apparently there was some mix up with priceline and I was not booked with the room I requested from them. Ive just went thru a family member dying and I needed a lil get away and they had rooms with whirlpool tub. It would have been nice to at least been offered that room with an additional fee as thats the reason I booked in the first place. But I went out for dinner and got a lil break away. The ac made so much noise I was unable to sleep comfortably. I went for breakfast, which was nice. Even though things didnt go quite as I planned I felt it was an okay place until I got ready to shower. There hanging on the shower curtain rod was a filthy used washcloth. Im sorry but I do have my limits on what I can tolerate. This unfortunately was not one of them. There is no excuse in this happening. I travel quite often and this has never happened. Based upon this experience I will not stay here again-ever.

I had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus Airport Inn & Suites in South Carolina!!! I was there 2 days for business and whenever I had to come to my room to rest it was a delight. Also Kenyon Brown at the Front Desk was GREAT!!!!!! He helped me when my computer wasn't acting right and I had to print out a report. He went above and beyond to help me, which he didn't have to do. I will recommend this hotel to others traveling to this area.

Best build your own breakfast ever!! Hot or cold, Strawberry or plain waffle add your chocolate chips, fresh fruit, oatmeal, OJ, Apple juice variety of hot teas (ladies). I travel for work so I've stayed almost everywhere price is right, best bang for your buck. We stay most of the time.

Super clean. Great breakfast to include...eggs, sausage patties and links, bacon, waffles and corned beef hash. They even had m&m's and reese pieces in the breakfast area (which I took advantage of!). Staff is extremely friendly. LaVern made sure the breakfast stayed full and was very pleasant. Front desk clerk Bhumi and even the maintenance man walking around were funny and helpful.

We were in town for a baseball tourney and from the moment we came into the hotel there were problems. We were overcharged, our room was not clean and there was trash left under the sleeper sofa. One of the 5 nights our room was not cleaned and every day we had to ask for extra towels. The first night, 5 cars were broken into. Multiple people live in this hotel so kids running everywhere, breakfast was overcrowded and pool water all over the halls and elevators. Funny smells throughout the hotel and the icing on the cake was I needed to do a load of laundry and because my $20 bill had a small tear in it, the front desk would not accept. And, not only that, the wash was $3 and the dry was $3 which is more expensive than any place I have ever done coin laundry. Will not be back and much nicer hotels in the area without such problems.

Nice up to date feel when you enter the facility. It felt clean and safe. The staff encountered was pleasant, especially the ladies in charge of the complimentary breakfast. The room was tidy and clean. The refrigerator and microwave in the room worked very will. The TV channel guid was nice to have. The soap dispenser in the shower was great. Did not run out during shower time like the tiny bottles tend to do. The beds were comfortable and sheets very soft. Enjoyed our stay and will use again.

I made reservations months in advance and when I called a few weeks before arriving to make sure everything was okay spoke with Kenyon he was very helpful. When we arrived he checked us and then looked up some information for parasailing for me. Kenya worked in the morning she was always smiling and very nice. all I can say is this place was very clean and the staff I mentioned are super . Would stay here again if I was traveling nearby

My family and I stayed in an executive suite, and for the cost, it was great. Very clean hotel and great customer service. Other than having some initial issues connecting to the internet, we had a great experience. The breakfast buffet was good too.

It was great! The room was great just like the picture on website. clean, nice and a great view of the planes leaving airport. I love that they had everything at your fingertips. The breakfast was a buffet style and it was phenomenal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean inside and outside the appearance was what I expected just like the pictures.Sometimes the pics donot match the hotel, not in the case it was very, very pleasing. Was led to believe the hotel was non smoking. However, my room wreaked of smoke. It smelled like someone smoked in it just hours before. Asked to be relocated but was told there were no other rooms. Breakfast was mediocre at best.

This place is so wonderful. The rooms are clean and beds very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The buffet breakfast is just tops and Cynthia is a great cook and very friendly. The main desk staff is wonderful, helpful and very friendly. We will be returning. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Traveling in a party of four, we found the hotel to be beautiful, extremely clean, and perfect. Our King room and my Aunt/Uncle's double queen was beautiful. The very best part of our experience was checking in with Kenya, who gave us outstanding recommendations for dining, places to see and served as a very wonderful concierge. We attribute our wonderful/awesome stay to Kenya's outstanding customer service. She is amazing. My husband wanted to eat breakfast at Waffle House and Kenya successfully convinced him to eat breakfast within the hotel. That allowed us to save money, enjoy a great breakfast every morning and meet Cynthia, who was a phenomenal breakfast hostess. She was so engaging and welcoming and prepared the food beautifully. Both of these ladies made our visit amazing and we will be back!!

I stay at this hotel in February, and was awaking at four AM by bed bugs. They were crawling on the pillow when I turn on the light and had bit me in my face and bit my husband on his arms. I than removed the covers on the bedding and several was crawling on the mattress.Cathy Cuttino the manager is horrible. She promised to credit me back my rewards points I used for the rooms plus additional points for the inconveniece. It took over three months, and several calls on June 18 to receive my points back. I don't recommend this hotel at all.

The title says it. I thought I could get a ride to the airport, since "airport" is in the name. Nope! When I checked in I was informed I would have to find my own way to the airport. Packed breakfast was an orange, a fruit cup, and a bottle of water. Coffee was not even available at 5am.

We enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was great and Laverne was very friendly and a hard worker. I can't think of anything else to say about this place but trip advisor wants me to write at least two hundred words. The place was clean. That's very important to me. Like I said they had a competent friendly staff that made us feel welcome.

We were very pleased with this hotel for an overnight stay after a let flight into Charleston airport. This BW Plus represents good value for money! Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and the best complementary breakfast I have had in a very long time. It is an airport Hotel, and does the job very well!

Room and amenities were escellent. Staff was friendly, helpful and courteous The breakfast staff Cynthia and Kenya were plesant and always made sure hot food was on the bar. They spoke to everyone. Mike was very helpful in his recommendations of restaurants and places to visit. The above staff always spoke to you and had a great attitude and smile on their face.

Be careful with the refrigerator it moves,when you try to open the door. Need more movie channels. My visit mainly to see my eye specialist, for a post check-up from my surgery! My stay was so peaceful

Wow! What a nice welcome we received from Kenyon when we registered. He set the bar high and really delivered. At least two people ,at different times, asked if we needed help as we rolled in the luggage cart. Sparkling clean large room To top it off Kenyon called our room about 15 min after we settled in to make sure everything was ok. Now I call that good customer service. The breakfast was really good. I would definitely come back.

Was in North Charleston for a concert. The folks at the Front Desk were extremely friendly and helpful. Internet service was spotty but not that big of a deal. Room was clean and comfortable. Will be back.

I had booked through the BW Rewards a free night stay. I was told that it was a 2 queen room and at the time it was just my daughter and I. As we arrived at 9:00 PM approx. I was told that no the room was a King and that I didn't speak to someone at the hotel. I didn't have my info to check so after finding out they had no other room my husband who decided last minute to come said just take the room. Of course he was anger because I said we had 2 queens so it should be OK and I would let them know when we arrived but he said it was my mistake for not verifying. I called the 800 after that because I knew she told me 2 queen beds on the phone. The lady at the 800 # told me that yes it was for 2 queens and someone at the hotel changed the reservation. Of course at that point I was pretty mad because our weekend that was suppose to be fun turned into a very stressed night/day. I put in a ticket with BW and also called the manager. she did offer me back my free night and said she would check into why my room was changed. I haven't heard back yet from them but the fact is we can't fix what has already happened. I am guessing someone saw that I only had 2 people and switched us because I was using a free night but I earned that free room with my other BW stays. GRRRR

Flew into town late evening, took the hotel shuttle from the airport to the hotel and took the hotel shuttle back to the airport in the morning to get my rental car. Both the evening and morning shuttle drivers were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beds were comfortable Cynthia/Kenya's breakfast at the hotel, was wonderful. Good job! Exactly what my wife and I needed to start a relaxing vacation in the Charleston, Hilton Head, Savannah area.

Never stay at this property. I came to pick up my daughter from the airport after her being abroad for 3 months. They charged my card for my reservation as well as another guest but treated me horribly when it came to correcting their mistake. The manager was a nightmare, was in no hurry to make things right, and the front desk person along with her kept telling me I hadn't beem charged when it was two different charges for two different amounts for two different time periods. They ruined our stay out of town and I was unable to handle business that we came for due to their negligence. She was rude and not compassionate to what had taken place. When she was the one who said it would be corrected immediately.

Excellent Shuttle Service. The lobby and rooms are clean and secure. My flight was late and i arrived very late - they quickly checked me in so i could get some sleep before my business meeting in the morning. I took advantage of the breakfast - which was surprisingly good. :)

The staff was extremely friendly, especially Mike and Kenyon. The kitchen staff was polite and fast in filling up the breakfast bar. The coffee was not the best but hey it is hotel coffee. Overall a great trip.

The cleanliness was worst than the Lakers season. The AC/HVAC was a terrible as Todd Gurley super bowl performance. The WIFI speed was trash, not like regular trash it was like the Jaguars after week 3 trash. HUGE WASTE of money I wish I could get a refund honestly.

Hotel/bed were clean and comfortable. Disappointed to find old coffee in pot showing it was not cleaned as thoroughly as expected. Staff was accommodating and very friendly. Close to the airport with shuttle service. Best surprise was that we were able to park our vehicle in their lot for the entire time we were away for a charge less than the airport long term. There was so much dust & dirt (even trash under bed) in the room it was horrible. This place is NOT WORTH $194.07 a night. This place made me think of a upscale flying mattress hotel. I really wanted o ask if this was a hotel that rented rooms by the hour! Never will I stay at this hotel. So disappointed in this BW property! I could not believe this place was allowed to use the BW name. Management did not really care at all.

This just wasn't the typical experience we normally receive at a Best Western, we definitely do not want this one location to speak for others but they really need to work on the customer service at this location.

I stayed in the hotel while awaiting my flight to London. It was clean and quiet and the staff was friendly. Nicely situated near restaurants. Close to town and my friends who live in South Carolina. The shuttle drivers were very informative and offered me information regarding my trip to London

I wanted a place to stay that was nice and comfortable and friendly this hotel fit those needs.The staff was always courteous and friendly and answered any questions we asked. My wife and I felt very comfortable at the hotel and had no bad experiences what so ever at the hotel or the area where we stayed.

Breakfast saved the day. The staff were so friendly and the food was great. Room was ok, needed a good cleaning. Mop never ever went behind door due to the dust. Sink faucet was full of toothpaste dots due to the placement of the faucet, weird. Bed HARD.

We arrived at hotel well after midnight and the service was great and they were very friendly. When slept till 9am and had breakfast waiting on us and was very delicious and fresh. Thank you for the amazing service.

I travel a lot so this mean I stay in many Cities but my past week stay at the Best Western Plus was one of the best experience I've ever had. When I checked in the room was prepared with such professionalism, the front desk was nice and very informative to my needs. Lastly, the thing I respected the most was the young lady (Cynthia) who prepared the breakfast was so well put together for a lack of better words. She keep all the foods stocked and clean the area to where she reminded me of my mother when she cooked and cleaned for the family. An employee such as her should be rewarded for her hard work and dedication to this organization, HIGH FIVE CYNTHIA.

It was cleans and very accomidating. We needed an extra blanket and they searched a d brought one to our room. We needed extra towels and they sent them up in no time. The place was very clean and the breakfast was delicious.

Overall I loved how friendly the staff was the only problem we had was that I asked the front desk to leave a key for my sister. So they wrote it out and when she came the front doors were locked and he wouldn't let her in until he called my room which I understand as that area is high in crime. Kind of wished they had a hot tub on the website said that they had a spa but only in a special room that you had to pay big money for. The shuttle service to the airport is by request only and they their sweet time about it so ended up ordering an Uber. Loved how one night as we were exiting the manage who was Indian was blessing the entrance.

I booked this hotel because of the breakfast that was included that was advertised online and the location for my business trip. The breaskfast was horrible. The eggs was wet and not the omelet type that was pictured online, bacon was limp,sausage was greasy,gravy tasted sour, pastries was not freash and the grits was instant. Being in tje sourh especially Charleston, you expect to get hot fresh grits. My last night i took the ironing board out and it fell apart. We were very disappointed. We will not stay at a Best Western Again.

Rooms were clean and kept, service was very nice, everyone was kind especially Laurene she gave us great service, this is our second time staying here we love it, it's making us want to come back very soon!

We were in a two queen non smoking room. Normally that means you get packed in and that's it but this room was spacious! It must have been recently updated because the bathroom was beautiful. Everything was clean. The staff was very friendly. Laverne the cook went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful breakfast. Mike, the resident handyman was there as soon as something went wrong and entertained my kids with his jokes. Now the tricky part of my room was to be aware that the thick curtains are BEHIND the sheer, and those colorful drapes in the front are just for show. Even that the front desk helped with and didn't get snarky with me... cause when I found out how it worked, boy was I sheepish. We had a wonderful stay and we'd love to be back again!

This is a great lodging value compared to many like hotels in the Charleston area. My room was clean and well appointed. It appears recently updated or constructed. Bed was excellent, a little firm but I slept well. Bathroom was clean and spotless. No odor present. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The hotel offers a breakfast and it compares with most other hotels in its class. The serving staff was great. This would be a pretty nice hotel for a weekend getaway or the weekly business traveler. The Bad: Worst bed we have slept on in years. Sloped to the middle. Squeaked with every movement. The Good: Great staff and clean room. We did not try the bed until later in evening. Unable to change rooms because hotel was full. I hope other rooms have better beds, but if not, I would not stay here if you want a good nights sleep.

Stayed 2 nights with my wife. We had a king suite, very comfortable bed. Enjoyed the pool and exercise room, very nice to workout after a long day of work.Would definitely stay again.This is ridiculous I need to write 200 characters??

Stayed for 5 days for the CAA Tournament. Hotel was clean and the staff was great. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. If that's not what you want plenty of other eateries near by. While you're there go for a swim! Pool was a nice bonus.

The best part about my stay was Cynthia the breakfast attendant. She definitely made my morning from a horrible night! Let's not even disscuss how AMAZING breakfast was! I'd definitely be back because of her.

This is a really nice hotel. The front desk, maid service, and breakfast service staff were all exceptionally nice and helpful. The breakfast choices were excellent. Nice room and staff was very friendly and helpful. Only issue was shuttle run times. My flight was at 7am. Their shuttle didn't start until 7am. Had to get taxi. All very clean. Walkable distance to shopping and restaurants.

laverene at breakfast was so nice. rooms was clean and nice. There was only one room left and it was a suite. Lots of noisy people drinking and loud but not the Hotels fault. The 177.00 We payed I felt was for the noise. But won't reflect this on my rating.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay,everyone was so nice to us. Ms.Laverne in the dining area was a sweetheart, she kept everything wiped down and clean. We will reccomend everyone there. Everything was so clean.

Great place to stay. The beds are really comfortable, the rooms are clean and the breakfast selection was awesome. It is close to the major interstates, and many restaurants and shopping places. They have lots of on site parking and also for those traveling with kids or alone, they have an indoor pool. This means swimming during any time of the year which is always awesome.

People are very nice. The food was very good. The service was terrific. I would recommend anyone to stay here. Everything is very convenient the stores the beach. They have a gym that is very nice and is open 24/7. The pool is nice and heated so if you're tired you can go in there and relax. The environment is very welcoming the people and staff are very nice.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Best Western in North Charleston, SC. From check in through to check out, the entire staff (to include the phenomenal house keeping team) go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is top notch. The breakfast is by far the best that I've ever seen! Real food, many many options and a kitchen staff that keeps everything stocked and fresh. I simply cannot recommend this hotel enough!

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Airport Hotel. It was very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. Near restaurants, shopping. There were 5 ladies staying. We were going on a cruise. The sofa bed was very comfortable.

The Staff at the BW Plus Airport Inn & Suites was the most helpful and accommodating staff we have ever seen. They were super friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in until the time we left. We visited Charleston to attend our granddaughters Gymnastic Meet. The lady working at the breakfast buffet was very nice and quick to replenish items and Mike was very helpful when we needed anything from directions, to towels for the pool.

Kenyon Brown at the front desk was awesome.He was polite,knowledgeable,and very professional.I was very pleased with my room and customer service.I will definitely recommend this location to my family and friends.

My stay at the Best Western was the awesome. The front desk person, Kenyon was the best. He made us feel right at home. You can really tell he is a true people's person. Always kept that warm positive energy and it was a pleasure each time we saw him.

Great place to stay! Our family of 6 slept well in the suite. Breakfast was great. We loved Laverne and Cynthia! Fort Sumter, Boone plantation and swimming in the pool made it s great family vacation before we got on our cruise!

Kenya, the lady that checked us into the hotel is certainly a credit to your organization. She was most pleasant and efficient and full of good information. Indeed, all staff that we encountered were very cheerful and helpful. The room was most commodious, quiet and clean, the bed very comfortable and the amenities quite adequate. There was, however, an occasional dripping sound coming from the screened vent of the exhaust fan; likely not serious but due to condensation in the duct-work. Wifi was good and easily connected. The breakfast was quite adequate.

The staff at the hotel were very nice. Kenyon was very professional,he provided extra towels when my kids needed them. He's awesome. You could not better service than that. Very clean rooms with very comfortable beds.The breakfast was excellent. I've never had corn beef hash before at a hotel before. Laura makes the best breakfasts and she was very professiona and friendly.

The customer service and overall stay was beyond great and I hope to use the same hotel in May during graduation weekend with my entire family this time. I will certainly recommend this hotel to family and friends that visit the North Charleston area in the near future.

This was a pleasant surprise. A very nicely updated Best Western and a great price. If there had not been construction next door that was a little disturbing, it would have been perfect. But that is clearly not something they could control.

Laverne helped us the morning before our cruise and was wonderful. The food was wonderful, our room was nice, and the staff were very friendly. Our shuttle driver was awesome and took us to the ship. We look forward to coming back!

Even though my sister was under the weather during this trip & very sick, Laverne went out of her way to make sure we were will taken care of & the food was great! We were checked on multiple times. The staff was very helpful when it came to doing laundry. Great visit!

Great place to stay! Close to shopping and food! Staff is great, polite and helpfull.The only issue I have had is the internet goes in and out when you first sign in, but once it "warms up" it stays connected. Otherwise every request I have had with any issue has been quickly and correctly addressed.

the hotel had a very nice breakfast done by Laverne Jefferson, she was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. the front took care of anything that we needed for the room in a very quick fashion.

Title says most of it. Some of the facilities/amenities were lacking, in particular the gym was pretty disgraceful (super small and some machines broken beyond use). The pool was small and kinda sad. The employees were wonderful though--always got smiles and jokes from anyone working the reception, breakfast, or shuttle. All around would stay again considering the price and hospitality we received.

Fabulous place to stay although the noise from the street ("souped up" cars and motorcycles) was at times disturbing to my hearing aids. Best place to eat, Amicis just a few blocks away with excellent hospitality services as well as food.

I really enjoyed my stay..I had no problems or concerns. I Would stay/tell any anyone to stay here. Free breakfast, clean spacious rooms, friendly people and beautiful surrounding .. The hotel was close to the airport , Stores were in close to the hotel all in 1 mile or less.

Fantastic front desk personnel. Efficient check in and very accommodating. Great suggestions on places in the area. The next morning I was greeted with energetic and friendly staff at the breakfast buffet. Best service and selection of food I've had at any hotel. Cynthia was very helpful, she made sure I had everything I wanted and even went out of her way to cook some bacon for me. Fantastic service! Next time I am in Charleston, I'll be sure to stay here!

I was visiting my son who's in the Navy. Given the low room rate, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and clean hotel. My room was equipt with a fridge and microwave. The free breakfast included scrambled eggs complete with salsa and fixings, turkey and regular sausage, cinnamon rolls, potatoes, and make your own waffles. My only complaint is that the pillows sucked, but that was a minor detail. I truly had a pleasant stay and really enjoyed the friendliness of the entire staff.

Pros, The lobby was clean, bright, And had a pleasant feel. For the most part the room was clean. Cons, The room smelled like stale smoke. The shampoo and soap dispensers didn't work. The shower could have been a little cleaner. The area around the outside smells like a porta potty because of the construction of a new hotel nextdoor. I guess it needed emptied.

Convenient to the interstate, friendly staff, secure area. Everything was just great for my stay. The one glitch I had was that the little coffee pot in my room didn't work. But they have a continental breakfast so I just went downstairs to get my morning brew.

My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights in one of the executive king suites and loved it! Very clean and spacious, great amenities, and very friendly and helpful staff. It's close to the airport so there's occasionally some noise from that but it's not too bad. The hotel is close to plenty of places to eat and shop as well! Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again another time!

We arrived late and tired and Kenyon made us feel welcome and special with an upgrade. The room was fantastic. We swam. We left too early for breakfast, but it was a nice option. It was a little hard to find, but it was dark.

Everyone was so nice and helpful, they smiled and had a positive attitude. From the time we walked in to the time we left, Every staff member acknowledged us and went above and beyond to greet us and make sure all is well. This was a very nice place to stay. It was clean had a fresh scent which is welcoming. The apple tea is very refreshing as well, The breakfast buffet had great options and they even offer gluten free and dairy free items which is nice for those who prefer it. Our visit was enjoyable we will be back when in town.

We had a nice 3-night stay. It was easy to find from CHS, and it was very clean. The included breakfast was good, with plenty to choose from. Our daughter enjoyed the indoor pool. The beds weren't the most comfortable we've ever experienced, but for the price of our stay we weren't expecting luxury. Every staff member that we met was extremely friendly and helpful. We'll definitely stay there again if we go back to the area.

I'm not sure if it's Charleston and Southern charm, but the hospitality and friendliness of the staff at the Beat Western North Charleston are out of this world. Every person I've met is genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful. You may not be downtown (and are by the airport), but I highly recommend this hotel!

We got to town earlier than expected to we went to the hotel first to see if our room was ready at around 1:00pm. We were told by the person at the desk that check-in was at 3:00. I said we were aware that check in was at 3 but wanted to see if our room was ready and she said again "check in is at 3:00. She did not even check to see if a room was available so we were turned away and had to come back later. There are 5 other hotels around this one and I should have checked in at one of those instead of going back there. We did not feel welcome at all.

We stayed in best western plus airport inn and suites and it was pleasant surprise to have a such lovely place . Good hospitality, breakfast , good service by every staff . Specially to mention about Laurene. She was very happy go lucky person , greeting every guest and personally taking care of everyone need . She served a wonderful breakfast and kept the place neat and tidy. Happy to be at this place.

I am super picky with hotels and it's very rare that I actually like one. This hotel was absolutely perfect! From the room to the customer service. They were fast, rooms we clean, breakfast was great, and the jacuzzi was amazing! Would definitely reccomend

Attractive decor and clean but lacked bar and restaurant. Despensors in shower instead of amenities. Halls were narrow and small rooms. Loud party next door with thin walls. Breakfast was just ok but a lot of work. Booked direct for $131..poor value, high taxes. Could have saved money by using booking agent on line.

My stay here was amazing, the staff was great and my room were very clean. Early morning breakfast was great. Cynthia gave a warm welcome for breakfast, the food was nice and hot, and she smiled the entire time making me feel like it was home. In the future best western plus will definitely be my first Choice when I return.

Kenyon, was one of the best parts, he welcomed with enthusiasm and was very up and helpful. The hotel was close to the airport, but still relatively quiet, considering the construction going on another building. Clean and comfortable , except the pillows. But that is a personal preference.

The room was very spacious and clean, and the hotel was surprisingly secure during late hours. Hotel staff required guests to use their keys to enter the facility after certain hours which kept out any unwanted visitors and made us feel safe.

The hotel itself and staff is nice enough and friendly but the noise is crazy. Between the garbage trucks at 4 in the morning and some dude over at the motel 6 thinking he was in NASCAR it was a struggle to get some rest.I had a room on the back side of the hotel, stay away from there. Also not a fan of the bathroom door as it swings out into the hallway.

The hotel was nice but the smell in the room. Everytime you entered the room it was there. MICA was nice and friendly. The guy keyson was rude on a few occasions to myself n kids. The beds were comfortable my son wanted to take the pillows lol.

During our stay the fire alarm went off. There was only the sound no flashing light. The rooms and hallways are not ADA. Also very bad water pressure. Do not tell you they are taking extra money from your checking account.

We had a few problems like the refrigerator and the TV remote did not work, but they were QUICKLY addressed by the staff. The maintenance man even put batteries in my grandson's toy we had bought that afternoon. The pool was great. We were provided with plenty of towels. The breakfast was very good with waffles, cheese omelets, and corned beef hash. The breakfast cook and attendant was very helpful/

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western for four nights and had a great stay. The hotel was clean and well taken care of. The breakfast buffet was great with many choices and the warm food was actually hot which was a bonus. The staff at the breakfast buffet were delightful and bent over backwards to accommodate your needs. The most outstanding surprise were two of the front desk clerks named Samantha and Haley, they went above and beyond the norm to help us with questions and requests that we had, both ladies should be commended for their wonderful customer service skills. Stayed there one night great locations to food an not far from cruise port very clean an everyone was very friendly from the guy that checked me in to breakfast lady I would defintly stay there again on next cruise out of that port :)

Nice clean and comfortable. We were at a wedding on Hilton Head Island. We generally stay at Best Western and this one where's the closest to the airport. The staff at this hotel went Way Beyond what they needed to do to satisfy us.

I stayed at this location in order to get to the airport quickly. Treated very well by Kenyon upon check-in, he was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Kenyon even checked on me to make sure the room was ok, making me feel welcome. Only downside was the bed which was very hard, I had back surgery not so long ago so it was very uncomfortable for me. Checking out was quick and easy as well. Sadly I didn't get breakfast because I was running late but the food smelled wonderful! I'd probably stay here again because of the great customer service last night and this morning.

My husband and I stayed here just for a very brief night before heading out for a very early morning flight out of Charleston. It was actually a better value to stay here the night prior to our flight and pay for a week -long parking pass than to pay for parking at the airport for a week and have to drive down in the middle of the night. For that I rate the value very high. They also have a free shuttle to the airport that runs most hours except overnight but we were able to take advantage of that when we returned. This hotel is still a drive to downtown Charleston, but nearly as close as you can get to the airport. GPS was also strange on both our phones getting here. There were only two things. When we arrived, the clerk informed me that my reservation had been cancelled by mistake earlier that evening but she was not sure why. Either way, she was able to re-instate it and she got us right in - Kelley was her name and she was very pleasant and prompt. Only other small thing was that the pillows were weird and not comfortable. They were like small squares and made for not-so-great sleep. I realize that is more of a reflection of the overall chain however and not this individual property. Therefore overall for the value, cleanliness and convenience I would say it was very fair.

Very easy to find and in an excellent location in walking distance to restaurants. Very clean and very good breakfast bar. Loved the waffles. Looking forward to staying there again on my next visit to the Citadel.

We enjoyed our stay until my mother accidentally left my crossbody bag in the pool area. A custodian stopped me in the hall to tell me it was at the desk. Funny thing, how did he know it was mine without looking in it and stealing $450? Very disappointed.

Great breakfast with Lavern! Lavern made our experience great! The room was good, upgraded and clean. Beds were hard, though. Pillows not comfortable. Problems with the tub draining after shower, will tell front desk upon checkout.

This is the first hotel that I have found with corned beef hash on the hot bar! They have a great selection of fresh fruit, yogurt with toppings, fresh coffee, waffle maker, eggs, bacon, and the normal hot bar items and cold items. Laverne was a gracious hostess, insuring that we had everything we needed and ensured we were happy with the selection. It is great to see people like her that takes time to make sure the customers are happy and pleased with everything.

I spent two hours at the front desk at 10 at night listening to the front desk clerk and the Expedia representative argue with each other about my reservation. Only to get to the room that smelled of mold and cigarettes with mold all over the shower curtain and bottom of the tub.

This isn't my first stay here, but I think these are the best eggs that I've had here yet! She's a very nice lady who took the time to make sure my breakfast was great and if it wasn't, she was gonna make it great. Keep up the great customer service!

The staff was incredible. Latasha made the stay worth the drive. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff made us feel at home. Laverne was so kind. John insured that we felt at home. We are going back in October and this will be the property we stay at. It was a pleasure.

Room was good enough for the stay and amenities were great. The overall experience was great. What was really exceptional was the breakfast and the service provided from Ms. Laverne. She went out of her way to welcome everyone who came in and kept the bar stocked and clean. She even came around and spoke to every person in the lobby area eating to make sure everything was okay and taking their trash to the trash can. If the manager don't change the cleaning staff, my recommendation is to book other hotels in the area. I stayed with my family one night and was enough. This hotel needs a renovation. Furniture in our room was old. Our room was dirty (see the uploaded pictures), but as it was very late at night and we were exhausted, we decided to go to sleep immediately. There were rests of blood in two pillows. Dust everywhere. The breakfast area is small, and there is only an elevator, so everyone has to take it. The printer zone smelled really bad (not sure about if it is a really non-smoking area), and the computer keyboard was very dirty.

Our breakfast was made special by a special lady, Lavern. Her warm personality and cute accent turned our trip to attend a funeral a pleasurable experience. I love when someone, anyone takes their job seriously and puts forth 100%, no matter the task

Enjoying our stay here. Comfortable rooms/beds. Good breakfast (eggs, waffles, fresh fruit) and friendly, attentive server Laverne. Convenient to I-26, Charleston, Summerville, beaches, restaurants, etc.

After check-in everything went down hill fast. No conditioner. Front desk said to come down to pick up and then replace ourselves in dispenser in room. If it was bottles it wouldn't have been an issue. Towels had mascara. Hair dryer broke. Front desk said they have to talk with management in morning about replacing . Only stayed 1 night. Exposed wire in light fixture on ceiling by shower. Rude and incompetent office manager and front desk when trying to get them to return personal property via prepaid UPS and prescheduled pickup. They only complied after getting corporate office involved. For $150, very overpriced for the service and cleanliness. 3 Much better hotels only feet away.

Had issues with the wait time during checking in, very noticeable room odor problems, lack of consistent hot water and the casual handling of this important amenity by the stuff, and stuff responds time needs improvement. Very unhealthy breakfast choices and it is unfair to call it a full breakfast buffet.

Good decor, decent breakfast buffet, comfy beds and nice and clean! Toiletries were bulk dispensers which was new and interesting, lackluster quality but did the job. Only 1 bar soap (usually I see one for sink one for bath) and didn't see a hair dryer. I heard activity in the hall a few times through the night, but that's expected. The airport shuttle doesn't start until 7am, so I was disappointed when I needed one prior, but the staff booked Lyft service for me, paid! Awesome!

Excellent stay.. I have been so pleased. LAVERNE at the breakfast is so nice to everyone. It's clean and all the staff are nice and appear to love their job because they are always smiling. Rooms are beautiful.

I stayed 7 days and despite the weather Best Western made my trip a great one. Checkin was fast and easy. Staff at checkin was fantastic and courteous. The hotel was well kept and clean. My room was super clean and neat. Hotel staff was very friendly and always great me with a smile. Felt like home. Checkout was fast and simple with no problems. I am already looking forward to a return trip soon. That's where I am going to stay.

This hotel does not let down on the friendly and consistent customer service. Everyone smiled and greeted myself and family. Stayed here for one night before a very early morning flight out of Charleston International. The staff was average for the area, the hotel was modestly updated and the room was clean. The pillows were horrid and very uncomfortable, an active railroad is nearby and active at night and the plumbing made persistent, loud noises throughout the evening. It was fine for what it was, but I would not recommend staying here for more than one night if you expect to sleep well.

Front desk and all employees I met were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is adequate. Not a fan of the new soap and lotion dispensers. The room did not have any air on upon arrival - but it cooled down quickly.

The staff at the Best Western Airport Inn & Suites is simply amazing! Everyone from the front desk to the drivers to the wait staff to the housekeeping staff. They made our stay comfortable and simply a pleasure!

Room 105 seemed to be a great room lower level, access to side entrance, pool and all other amenities. Once in the room it had a musty old smell, gnats were creeping around. We couldn't find out where it was coming from Nd I had a business meeting to be to. I returned to the room to strip the covers off and check everything before settling completely in and found blood stains on the flat sheet and fitted sheet. The thin cover had blood on the bottom tucked in from where the house keeper chose not to change the linen. Inside the shower had a used bar of soap stil on the ledge. We were told by desk clerk and management that a partial refund would be made for one night and$18-21 for th following night. Plus we would receive a total of 10,000 points on our BW rewards card. The credit as stated happened but the award points did not.The management states” I heard about the situation but not the resolution, really?? Because she was a part of the plan on making a resolution. This was a first for me having this type of issue with BW Plus.

Hotel and staff was nice. Our room was on the first floor near the pool and fitness center. The heated pool was great. Breakfast was good as well. Hotel is close to the highway which is a plus for me.

I have never experienced anyone as rude as I did today. Terrible service upon arrival. Were of no help w TV issue. Dirty room. Unprofessional demeanor. Do not stay here. When I tried to resolve issue and speak to someone else I was given the go around multiple times. Beautiful property but ruined with terrible employees. This has completely ruined my experience here in Charleston. Spoke with Latausha, Kenya, and Cathy. Due to these ladies I will never stay at another best western property in fear of terrible service. Wonderful place to stay, we came down for an overnight beach trip, every person we interacted with was wonderful, the breakfast was free, room very clean and very nice decor throughout the hotel. Would highly recommend a stay here. Parking was adequate and we felt safe.

The room was clean, beds, & breakfast were good. The indoor pool water was not heated & was on the cold side. We had an issue with not getting our room cleaned the first day or the towels replaced. The bathroom was clean & functional, but the soap, shampoo & conditioner dispensers needed to be filled or were just slow, so you didn't use too much.

The hotel room was clean. The kids loved the indoor pool. Lobby check in staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a hotel breakfast. It did it's job perfectly fine. We will look to stay here again for our tournament next year as well.

Loved the room, loved the service but could not enjoy the pool area. The room was very cold and I couldn't enjoy myself because I couldn't stop shivering. The young gentleman who assisted me was the best. He went out of his way to get me clean pool towels, turned up the pool temperature and kept checking on me to make sure I was ok. He has a wonderful personality and made my stay more enjoyable. I had not met any other employees and didn't know who to ask for help after 7pm when I couldn't find anyone else. He is a gem and you're blessed to have him for an employee.

Our room was not very clean, with dust in the corners and a crusty stain/spot on the bedspread of one of the beds. There were two dead cockroaches, one in front of the refrigerator and one by the couch. We booked this hotel soley for the indoor heated pool, but the heater was broken and the water freezing cold. The instruction sheet in the room said there were towels provided in the pool area. When we got to the pool, there were no towels. I went to the front desk to ask for some and was told that they don't provide pool towels, but we were supposed to bring them from our room. great location and price. Clean and great staff. close to reastaurents. Not far to downtown or airport. Never had a bad stay there. Nice hot breakfast too! Beds are to die for and staff is extreamy friendly and helpfull.

I only stayed in this hotel after I had previously booked an Extended Stay closer to the Coliseum for a concert but the Extended Stay overbooked and cancelled my reservation on my way to the hotel. So, still through the same HOTELS.COM app I proceeded and booked the Best Western Plus. It's decent to stay in.

Killed 2 roaches in room! I am a diamond member, top of the food chain. I had a 2 o'clock checkout, however at 12 my handicapped cousin was told to he had 20 minutes to "get the h311 out". When I went to the front desk to complain, I mentioned that I was a diamond member and had a 2 oclock checkout. I was told "you ain't got no 2 o'clock checkout, that's only if we feel like it". I found 1item at a time missing in my room, alarm clock, coffee maker, tissues, and towels, each time I called the front desk I was made to go down to get the items myself! They walk around yelling and speaking rudely like they're in a bar or something. If you're wanting to feel like you're staying in the ghetto then this hotel is for you. If you expect great service and polite staff? Stay anywhere but here!

The check in process was smooth and didn't take long. However, this hotel was nowhere near meeting expectations when it comes to cleanliness. There were disgusting white stains on the couch, a used bar of soap still in the shower, and what appeared to be blood stains on the bed linens. In addition to this, the pool heater was broken (not a problem) but the pool was still open for swimming. We went swimming and while we were swimming, we noticed a large hairball at the bottom of the pool along with a clear plastic drinking cup. This place was disgusting! It makes me sad to say this because I have stayed at some really nice Best Western hotels but I would not recommend this particular hotel to anyone! I wish I had spent the money elsewhere.

The rooms were very nice. The inside pool heating element was broke so the pool was cold. The breakfast was excellent. They issued us coupons to use at breakfast, but no one ever collected them, until the last day when we went down.

We stayed at this hotel so we weren't directly downtown. It was OK. Room smelled of bleach, but was very clean, and after running the exhaust fan for most of the afternoon, the smell seemed to dissipate. Most of the staff were friendly. Quirky thing was that the bathroom had product dispensers rather than bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. We've never seen that at a BW hotel. Water was warm, but in no way could it be considered hot.

I try to always look for the good in everything. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was a free breakfast included with the stay. However, I wouldn't stay there again for multiple reasons: The screw fell out of the inside door knob of our room one day and the outside door knob another day. It was fixed but left us feeling a little uncomfortable as the door did not close well without tugging on it each time it was closed. The desk staff were not friendly at all. I observed a very rude discussion with another guest who was having problems with someone from the hotel entering her room at 10:30 p.m. while she had a baby sleeping. This was heard from afar, but concerning. The heat/air unit in the room constantly made crackling noises and didn't work properly. The clock radio, even through turned off, made a faint static noise all the time. The smoking area was out back and very poorly lit. The front door is locked around 11 p.m. which we were not aware of and getting back at 11:15 we had to have someone open the front door for us. Just didn't feel very safe at this hotel. Overall the experience was not very positive.

Rude management, mistakes with our reservation from having a pack and play available to the wrong time frame for the reservation, pool heater and one of 2 laundry dryer out for some time. The staff was great but the management was aweful.

Excellent location for any travelers. Access to food and entertainment venues and major highways. Great staff and amenities for a reasonable price situated among many competitors. It is not a Hilton or a Motel 6 with the light on but BW maintains it solid reputation at this location.

Hopefully these issues will get taken care of! But I was told all the rooms were like mines they didn't have another room to put me in!!. However I will give them the opportunity to improve and will revisit this site to see if it's improved.

We originally booked the Charleston Grand Hotel for a week and it turned out to be a -0 star hotel. We arrived late and thought we would have to spend the night in our rental . I called Best Western Plus and they advised that they had a suite available and of course we hurried over and checked in. check in was quick and the room was what I expected in a hotel. All of the staff is great and the breakfast was great also. Not Gto mention shopping is very very close. My next trip to Charleston we will definitely stay there. The entire hotel is very clean and well kept

I love staying at this location... Latausha is always such a pleasure during check-in and always remember who I am.. The breakfast ladies are excellent.. Denise and Toica were great as well.. Breakfast was delicious... Has a great selection and I love that their is multiple meats and eggs... Great place to stay..

We stayed here because it has a shuttle to airport and included breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised to have a very good buffet breakfast, a hassle free shuttle service, and a comfortable bed, and clean room. There were no problems at check in.

We were in town for the eclipse and to tour the downtown historic area. The hotel was clean enough and I felt safe there. It was about a 20 minute drive into the historic part of the town. There is a Cracker Barrel near by but we didn't eat there.

It is located close to the airport but not convenient. If you are not familiar with the area it is easy to get lost. Although it looks pretty modern, the rooms need a good makeover. The cleaning staff uses some type of cleaner that leaves streaks on ever thing, (headboards tables and dressers ). Sheets are of very poor quality and thin.One bed was indented. As far as cleanliness, the housekeeper staff need to be trained . Inside of bathroom door had black smudges, long black hair in bathtub.Even the do not disturb sign was dirty.The cleaning staff were just finishing when we got there yet there was evidence of crumbs and small bits of paper in the hallway. Breakfast was good. I must compliment the evening front desk attendent, James. He was very helpful in arranging an Uber cab for my daughter and grandchildren. Overall, I do not feel this facility is worth the money.

I have no idea what the hotel rooms or amenities were like because at the time of check-in, staff tried to get me to give them cash for incidentals. Despite my confirmed and paid for room reservation, they refused to accept a valid CC to cover incidentals. I have never been asked to do this anywhere I've stayed in the last 40 + years! While agreeing I had a valid reservation and active CC, they insisted I give them cash to check-in. As I declined this "unpublished, local criteria", they would not check me in. As a result, I forfeited my rental charges as I was outside their cancellation policy. Phone conversations with BEST WESTERN reservations provided sympathy but no resolution. I will not use this Hotel ever again nor probably other sites. Stay away from this place.

Kelly is amazing wish she was at the front desk every time I check in . Always clean never have issues here . It's in a perfect location close to mall , outlet and airport ! I'll brver stay anywhere else

When you first walk in this Hotel you think to your self this place is darn nice. That changed very quick when you take the elevator to your room. I got on the elevator and it was dirty. I got off on my floor and was welcomed with a bag of trash and a dirty recycle bin. As I was walking down the hall to my room there was random pieces of trash and a dirty wash rag in the middle of the floor. The rooms look nice at first but soon realize that they could be cleaner. Of the two days I ate there, they had sausage patty's and links and corned beef hash. One of the two days they did have some sort of egg patty. The hot breakfast did have the standard waffle maker and different types of bread. If I could give one bit of advice to the Hotel management, it would be step it up a bit and you could have one of the nicer Hotels in North Charleston.

Room water cut off in the shower in the middle of me washing and wouldn't come back on. The cable kept going off so the kids was not able to watch the kids television shows. These are the only two problems i had.

There was no soap in the shower and hardly any by the sink. There was very little shampoo in dispenser in the shower. Hairdryer was missing. Had to call room service and wait for someone to come back from shuttle run to bring it to room.

Friendly staff all around, front desk, shuttle driver, and ladies keeping up the breakfast nook. All were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast spread was very good... The ladies kept it clean and orderly! They greeted you with a smile and good morning.

We stayed at this hotel December 30th and 31st. We picked this hotel because of the convenience of staying near the Port of Charleston. I love Best Western Hotels but I feel that this one is lacking customer care. Our first nights stay was excellent with no complaints. Our second night was horrible with no sleep given that the room below us was party central until 5 am. We complained several times along with several other customers. We did not get any resolutions to our complaints with the Hotel or Best Western Customer Care.

1st impressions were not great unfortunately, we arrived very late (10pm) after a long drive and stop for dinner before check in. Our room wasn't ready so the receptionist had to go make up our room and another room for someone else. When we eventually got into our room the sheets looked like they were previously used so again the receptionist came up and re made our beds with clean sheets, she was very lovely and helpful! Her shift had already ended but she was quite happy to stay and help. Seems the morning staff weren't quite so happy to fill up the milk when I asked for more though. The hotel itself was very good with a good hot breakfast. Shame about the 1st impression as the rest of our stay was very good.

I Stayed at the hotel on 28th Dec 2017. It was Nice and comfortable stay at the hotel. The staffs were Friendly and co-operating. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Hotel comes as advertised: pretty standard B W PLUS facility. Room was clean, bright, everything immaculate; everything worked. Commented on the presentation of this ground floor room, and the clerk said it was one of the rooms cleaned by the Executive Housekeeper. Bed comfortable; lots of pillows; temperature adjustable on heat-A/C. Good breakfast bar. Excellent coffee. Check-in and check-out were a breeze: fast, accurate, no problems. Cheerfully stay here again.

The sheets had blood and body fluid stains from mattress cover to top sheets. All linen was dingy and worn Room smelled.. Big towels had body rust stains, and smelled. CLEARLY had been used but folded up and placed in there as clean.The health risk to your guest with soiled bed linen and used towels are great... It was completely disappointing and plan to make it known at every occasion ...

Best Western pulled a "bait and switch" on us. My husband works so hard, earning Best Western points as he travels for work. So we tried to check in here, with a reservation IN HAND, that said we were using reward points. This hotel said that it was not in their system, and that we had to fix it with Best Western, even though clearly it was their communication problem. After more than an hour, my husband talking to 3 different people, they move us to a lesser Best Western, for points we were charged for a Best Western PLUS. I hate how these supposed reward points are so hard to use. Not worth being in their club. But if you are, watch them like a hawk so they don't mess you over. Thanks Best Western, let's not do it again.

As a family my son and wife we took a vacation to see the amazing things we read that South carolina had to offer, the trip has been nothing but a blessing and great experience, we rent it a room in a local hotel and this became a nightmare we had to cancel the room and book another hotel on travelocity. We choose this nest western plus and had a little doubt about how everything was going to work out. From the minute we arrive the lady on the front desk was very helpful and accommodated, great attitude and even answer some of my questions about what places we must see during out stay. Every employee that we spoke was very friendly and was always trying to help out. I will not stay anywhere else when we return to South carolina.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Best Western the grounds for very well kept the hotel was the very clean remodeled updated breakfast was very good front desk clerk was very pleasant and helpful my room was excellent very clean would recommend this stay for anybody

The location and price were great. Besides the few little mishaps everything else was great. Family friendly hotel especially since it was cold outside. Their swimming pool is conveniently located indoors beside the fitness center.

Never had someone so dumb run the check-in counter. Didn't know how to check me in using points. Room stunk, beds were as hard as rock, and no freezer in the mini-fridge. Being an elite member, I was extremely dissatisfied.

As always, I had a pleasurable experience during my stay at this Best Western. The front desk associate was patient, kind and helpful. Although I had no problems with my room or amenities, it makes potentially bad situations better when the staff is friendly and accommodating. I will stay there again.

My Fiancé and I traveled to SC from Philadelphia. We had reservations for 3pm but we arrived at 9am. We went in and spoke with the hotel clerk Lastausha and explained to her that we arrived earlier than expected. There were no rooms available for early check in at the time of our arrival. Lastausha was very helpful. She was able to get us checked in early with no extra charge. Lastausha was very pleasant and understanding. When we got to the room you can smell that it was freshly cleaned. The only problem that I came across were the bed linen. the sheets had stains and something that resembled bubble gum. Thank God we brought our own sheets. I would recommend this hotel.

During our three day stay, our room was not touched or serviced. We had to ask a maintenance worker at the hotel to give us towels and toilet paper. When we visited the training room, we noticed that several machines were out of order. We felt that no one listened to us when we asked for service. We will not stay there again.

Enjoyed my holiday stay. Far enough off highway to be peaceful and close to roadway for dining and shopping. Thew room was comfortable, clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Good value for the price.

Nice hotel that will be even nicer when they finish the renovations. Front desk and Service folks were courteous and helpful. Nice fitness room and indoor pool. Location is a bit off the main road but it's lumped with 3 other hotels so it's not bad.

Stay at another place this is crap dirty sheets,out of shampoo and soap dispensers.lazy cleaning staff. breakfast was empty and what was left was not good stay elsewhere if you want value or stay here and get 20 bucks off your bill and be upset with bada bing bada boom

Hi, please be aware that the 1 star is for the lack of customer service from the management that was on duty on the day I checked out. I booked a room through Hotels.com, I was looking for inexpensive and close to airport. This place fit the purpose, as my flight on November 16th was arriving after midnight on the day of my check in and my stay was going to be only until check out on November 17th. I phoned the hotel earlier in the day on the 16th to make them aware of my late check in and the girl I spoke to interrupted me as I was speaking and telling her of the late arrival. She said she'll put a note on the reservation. okay great! Well I arrived at about 2am, my flight landed at about 145am, so the hotel was closed enough. The gentleman that was working the front desk was very pleasant, he was able to find my reservation but there was no room attached to it. The gentleman said that his manager advised him that all reservation for the night will have room already assigned. Well the only thing I understood to have been on my reservation was that I would be arriving late. The front desk gentleman started searching for a room for me. He said there were rooms but they were either not cleaned or there were actually people in them. Yeah, I was a bit confused but I was patient and I saw that he was really trying to find a room for me. I even told him that I would take an accessible room (handicap room) if there was one available, I just needed to sleep. He said that there weren't any open. He continued to search and physically go to the rooms to check them out to see if they were in deed vacant and to see if they were clean. He found me one that was not what I reserved, but it was vacant and clean. I was in the room for maybe 5 minutes when there was a know on the door. It was the gentleman from the front desk. He said his manger just called and said the room we were in was actually reserved until the 20th, so we would have to move to another room if it was clean. Mind you it's now about 330am. The guy returned to us saying that the other room is cleaned but he was asking me if I decided if I wanted to cancel the stay all together. CANCEL??? why would I cancel, I need to sleep for a few hours before I continued my trip for the weekend. So at about 4am we were able to lay our heads down and sleep, about 10 minutes later the room phone rand and it was a woman from the from the front desk asking what room we are checked into, I couldn't remember, but I think I said the correct room number at the time. But wait didn't she call me at the room on the room phone??? Well, we finally slept for the few hours we could and when I called to get a late check out they were not very helpful with that either. Now I am speaking with the "Manager on Duty" at the front desk. She said we had to check out at noon no later. and at 10am the maid service started knocking on our door to see if we were checking out. Needless to say there was no more sleep to be had. As I was starting to get ready to shower the hotel fire alarm went off and thankfully my travel partner called down to the front desk to see if it was a test, it was a test. We continued to get ready to leave. I had to go return the key and get my receipt for the stay and that's where bad went to worse. Latasha Rapley was the Manager on Duty, and she was the most rudest person I have ever had to deal with. I work in customer service, I teach customer service, I notice good and bad customer service. I am here to tell you that the true lack of customer service that I provided the day I was leaving the hotel is the reason I will not return and will tell everyone I encounter to steer clear of this hotel. Not only was I cut off again while trying to speak to her, she decided to wave her hand with her long royal blue nails at me and then ask "and what was your issue?" As I tried to explain again the issue and asked for some kind of percentage off, she cut me off and said I booked through a 3rd party, I would have to deal with them for money back. The issue wasn't with them it was with the hotel. She didn't even apologize for the inconvenience or the fire alarm or anything. When I asked for my receipt, she said they don't give receipts for 3rd party stays. I questioned that since I has to give my credit card for the incidentals. She then said we don't give anything. I questioned that again and she said do you want a "reg sheet"?, I said yes I would, although I didn't know what a "reg sheet" was. she made a copy a sheet that I will assume is the registration sheet. It does have my name on it but it does not have any total on the sheet, nor did they have my sign anything at check in or check out.. Even if the hotel couldn't do anything about the percentage off the room for the inconvenience, the "manager" could have offered a bottle of water or coffee or something. At the very least apologized profusely for the inconvenience of waiting on a room and then the fire alarm.

Room was up to date, with microwave, refrig,flat screen TV and dispensed liquid soap. shampoo and lotion. The breakfast bar was kept well stocked and lots of room during prime times. The negatives are that the housekeeping staff leaves much to be desired. No tissues in bathroom, roach in bathroom, very little shampoo and soap in dispensers. Additionally we were there last weekend from Fri afternoon to Mon and our room had not been cleaned. I complained on Sat afternoon after being out for 6 hours sightseeing. They said they were short staffed and offered to clean the room. I said it was ok not to clean, but assumed it would be cleaned the next day, which is was not. We out of the room for 7 hours. Then on Mon, with a check out of 11:00 and the "do not disturb sign on the door", they came in at 9:30 to clean! Also very noisy at night. Every little sound in the hallway could be heard. I would think for an overnight stay, it would be fine.

My wife and I enjoyed our first visit to Charleston in over 40 years and were quite impressed with the visitor center and tour bus excursion for which we signed up. We saw a lot of the unique homes, exciting market place, and were especially impressed with the tour we had of the Citadel, a unique military academy that delivers strong officers for all four branches of the military.

I stayed at this hotel earlier this week and I will never set foot inside a Best Western Hotel again. It took the front check-in employee over 30 minutes to check us into our room. The reason given was that the network system was being problematic. We had a credit-card held reservation! How difficult could it have been to manually check us in? Our "smoke-free" room smelled of smoke, mildew and stale air. The ice machine outside our room had a pool of water in front of it. The cooling system spewed tiny pieces of white styrofoam out all night long; it looked like snow on the carpet in the morning. The bed was uncomfortable and the three pillows were shaped like (and felt as hard as) bowling balls. What a disappointment. The only good amenity was the free airport shuttle service; the drivers were friendly and efficient.

Friendly staff, comfy beds, clean rooms, delicious breakfast! Can't say enough about our wonderful 2 night stay. The only issue was the loudness of the highway that's nearby. Otherwise it was an awesome stay for an awesome price.
