Best Western Plus The Inn & Suites at Muskogee

Pool is not heated. Noise was awful. Food was undercooked. The mattress was so bad my back hurt the entire next day. I mentioned to stay about the pool and she said oh yeah it's been broken for 6 months. Then why when I called the day before was I told yes it was working and yes it was heated. I DO NOT recommend this hotel.

The facility is spacious and clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. When errors were make they were over accommodating to correct or make amends. Mistakes happen everywhere, but it is refreshing to have staff that takes accountability and does what can be done to accommodate and correct if possible with a pleasant attitude. The rooms were clean and everything worked well. I especially enjoyed the bottom floor. Be sure and remember that they have an indoor swimming pool and gym! Great location for a conference. Rooms are close to conference area. The restaurants and shopping are nearby. Hot breakfast was appreciated but could have had more choices. Beds and pillows were comfortable.

When driving up and parking under the canopy near the front door the very first thing I saw was a very large Orange Tax Revocation sticker from the State of Oklahoma prominently pasted on the front door. I knew this to be a bad omen as it meant that the property was operating illegally at the time and should not have been open. I should have immediately cancelled my reservations, and looked elsewhere, but that would have meant we would have forfeited our points we booked our two rooms under. It would have also meant time wasted after a 4-hour drive, and we had sightseeing to do that afternoon and the next day. However, now I wish I had taken the hit of the points and immediately cancelled our rooms. Here's the information on our stay: The day after Christmas, I booked two rooms to celebrate my mother's 75th Birthday. One room was for myself, and one was for my parents. We are both top-tier Best Western Rewards members. This was for a two-night stay. These rooms were nastier than a hog pen!!! I'm not joking!! Check-in was a fiasco in itself. It took at least 20 minutes to check us in. The agent working the front desk was absolutely clueless (more on her later). She had to have another individual help her. She didn't look like she knew at all how to check-in a guest. The individual helping had to run upstairs and check to make sure the rooms they were trying to put us into were clean. My mom and dad were upgraded to a suite. I should have been with my status, but I was told none were available (meaning none were clean; I asked.) Stepping into the elevator, the floor was very dirty. A wet floor sign was hanging onto the safety rail inside (getting free rides up and down the whole time we were there. Woo-hoo!!) Getting out on the third floor, the carpet was filthy. It had not been vacuumed it appeared in months. You don't get that kind of dirty, grime, and residue on carpet if it is vacuumed regularly. Arriving at Suite 319 (my parents), the door handle was loose and floppy (we ended up tightening it). Going inside the Kitchenette King suite, it appeared that someone died on the floor (wait, I'm sorry TripAdvisor reader, that's not blood; looking closer it is just a very dark red juice or soda stain all over the middle of the room on the carpet, on the sofa, and on the coffee table ottoman that was fabric.) The carpet itself was filthy (sorry for using the word filthy often, but this hotel was filthy everywhere.) Behind the drapes were a hair scrunchie and food, the carpet in the room was dirty, the bathroom floor had a huge gooey blob of mess at the edge of the vanity, and the vanity top itself was gooey and sticky with the same mess. While trying to use the toilet, the seat slid off, very nearly dumping my mother into the floor! We had to reattach and tighten the toilet seat. Every single hard surface of the room was filthy. The AC filters were nasty and grungy, so we had to clean them too. You may have asked why we didn't just check out immediately, but after driving for four hours, and planning on sightseeing that afternoon and evening and the next day, it would have been difficult to find accommodations on such short notice, and we would have forfeited our points. After making sure that my parent's room was finally clean, I went down the hallway to Room 319 (mine), which was a standard King room. Again, the door handle was all floppy and loose, which I tightened. Less for maintenance to have to worry about now. :) My room was actually dirtier and nastier than my parents. The carpet had food residue, lint, and debris all over the floor. Looking closer I discovered that there were multiple used, filled condoms behind the furniture, used condom wrappers, twist-off beer tops, and clothes behind the nightstands, the tv cabinet, and under the chair cushion, and behind the chair itself. I put on rubber gloves to clean the room. I didn't even mention half the things I found to my elderly parents, because I didn't want to horrify them. My toilet seat top was gouged and looked like someone took an axe blade to it, hitting it on top. Neither room had coffee for the Keurig-type coffee maker. My coffee maker had a huge coffee residue stain under it, so it was obvious housekeeping just wiped around it. But actually, they didn't, because the bathroom vanity when wiped was filthy on the cleansing wipe. My tub had pubic hair from a previous gust in it. There were crap stains in my toilet. When I opened the glass sliding closet doors, I found a used piece of toilet paper thrown down on the floor of the closet, so I knew housekeeping had not opened the closet at all during the "cleaning" of the room. I also had leftover food on my desk chair which was pushed up under the desk. Now I know hotel rooms are used a lot, but I don't want to see evidence of past guests left for me to find. The next morning, we had the opportunity to meet the new GM, who seemed pleasant and nice, but seemed entirely out of her league in managing this property. Just for your information, if you read other reviews on here (I made the mistake of not doing this before check-in. A huge mistake on my part), you will see this hotel rotates out GM's every few months, and all are female. We told the GM Ms. Stephanie about the issues with the rooms, and she seemed apologetic and offered housekeeping to clean the rooms again, but we told her we had already cleaned them to our satisfaction. The front desk clerk asked us if we thought the beds had been changed. She called the housekeeping staff lazy, shiftless, and just looking "busy" while cleaning rooms. This is such a hoot coming from her! Every single time we passed the lobby, she would be curled up on one of the sofa's resting & relaxing and would greet us from her comfortable perch on the sofa. She obviously did this often, and felt quite relaxed, curled up resting on it. She was lounging here each time we passed through the lobby. It was so funny her calling the housekeeping staff lazy and shiftless; like the pot calling the kettle black!! The breakfast attendant at breakfast appeared to feed family each morning we were there at the large table by the front door of the hotel in the breakfast area. If she did not know them personally, she sure acted like she did. Every other guest at breakfast she glared at to the point, it made you feel uncomfortable. She would not speak to you when you greeted her, and her vibe was nasty and rude. The second morning at breakfast the hotel ran out of plates, so after about 25 minutes the GM returned with a small one-inch-thick package of disposable plates (looked to be about 25-30 count). I guess if you are not supposed to be open at all, you don't need to buy more than needed, because you may not be open the next day. I'm 53 years old and can't remember a nastier room in any hotel I have ever stayed at!! I told Ms. Stephanie the GM upon check-out I wanted points put back into my account for this lousy stay and she assured me she would. I have called the hotel numerous times after check-out during a two-week period and despite multiple assurances by her she would do so, she still has not. The last time, which was a Tuesday, she stated she would definitely hear from me before that upcoming Friday. Her word is not to be trusted!! She must think I am stupid, when she tells me don't worry, I will do it, or I will call you before Friday, and she doesn't. She is probably just worried she too will be locked out of her job, or replaced by a new GM shortly, and is so frantic in trying to keep her job, she can't even take care of guests. She seems nice when I spoke to her, but is unwilling to make amends on this stay, and is just putting me off. I really felt ashamed for not reading the reviews before I booked this hovel. But please, please, take my word when I say if you sleep in your car, you will have a better stay. I mean sleeping under a highway overpass would be cleaner!! This hotel is nastier than a homeless camp; filthier than a pig sty!! And evidently run by management that doesn't care about guest satisfaction!! Heed my words, or I'm afraid you will be sorry. Please, don't even think about staying here!!

Aside from the malodorous smell, we were given a USED key holder. Our room 205 was so conveniently right off the elevator, so 99% all conversations were heard. Don't be a light sleeper; you're sure to hear the opening and close of the entry sliding doors A L L NIGHT long. Lastly, the view left more to be desired. Would suggestthe that room be made for stoeage or housekeepers lounge. Overall, not the best we've ever had.

We arrived at the hotel at 5:30 p.m. there was only one person here working the front desk. The first key card did not open the door to our room, when the third set still didn't work the poor girl had to come to room to open the door with physical key. Once she opened the door the room had not even been cleaned. She then moved us to another room. We finally got a room and headed out for dinner at a little before 7. Almost and hour and half check in! We got back to the hotel after 10:30 to turn down the beds to find both beds with soiled sheets and the remote not working. I went down to the front desk with the soiled sheets and the remote. The front desk gave us two fresh sheet sets but did not have batteries for the remote. We changed out all of the pillow cases, the fitted and flat sheets, at least I new those were clean. Both beds have urine stains on the mattress pads. Both clocks were wrong, it was 11:08 when I took theses pictures.

BBB has them has a C- rating!! Worst Best western I have stayed at!!! First issue we reserved a king suite and got downgraded to a double queen and not refunded the difference. 2nd issue first room smelled horrible moved to new room. But 2nd room floor was very dirty and sticky and frig was broke. So we moved to room number 3 no frig and broken furniture. And again moved to room #4 looked better feig worked but that night the bugs come out. Hotel offered to spray themselves LOL with a commercial type spray. Called manager over and over zero help. Supposedly they were pulling her from the GM position and Neil the owner said let me see what he can do. Guess what he nevered called so I called corporate but his resolution to all the issues was a free upgrade on my next whuch is a joke since we never got the room we reserved and said he would refund a 1/6 of the amount. Unacceptable but He lied anyways and only did like 8% back. Dont stay here. There are a bunch of other places to stay right on the same block and for about the same price. Pics to come on issues

Our group of friends stayed a Saturday night here and the hotel was taken over by a group of younger people, most of which didn't even have a room there. The parking lot began filling up about 6:30 with cars blasting music and people running in and out of the hotel. They took over one end of the down stairs by the meeting rooms. The poor front desk girl was alone and definitely wasn't able to control this crowd. I would think there is a policy against this but evidently not. Then around midnight they head out to leave and take the party to the parking lot. Music blasting and lots of hollering. Definitely don't recommend this hotel. Looked nice and great price but not worth it.

My husband and I , and our 15 month old son stayed a night here and I have no regrets ! Great guest services, pool was very nice and clean . All the beds were clean , no bugs . Could also tell our room was cleaned right before we got it , I definitely recommend! Price was also cheaper upon arrival!

We checked in August 4th and check in was great, well all down hill after that. Friday evening took the fam down to the pool, was great the first 10 minutes, after that a group of large teenage boys came in and started doing cannonballs and horseplaying in the pool, so we moved down to the shallow end, well here they come taking over the whole pool, so we got out. The next day went in the evening at the pool, nope half empty and was getting worked on. No swimming for us that day. Saturday night, loud obnoxious people in the hallway we were staying on, went to bed at 11:30 pm and commotion kept going on, finally at 2:30 my husband actually opened the door to our room and screamed shut up to everyone in the hallway, it lasted a whole 2 minutes, then back to horseplaying and being loud, finally I had enough and called the office around 4:30 ish am and complained about the noise, was told they have had multiple complaints about this already and has told them to quiten down 3 times, I actually asked the front desk, if they could have them leave the property, was told no and I could speak with the GM in the morning. We checked out the next morning, upon checking out, I asked to speak with the GM or any manager, was told there was no manager on duty at all and GM would be in Monday afternoon, the young man at the front desk took my name and number and said that the GM would call me Monday bc they had multiple complaints about the noise, it's now Monday and haven't been contacted yet. Also upon leaving the hotel, was blocked by a car in the middle of the parking lot and was talking to another car on the side, waited patiently for a couple of minutes, and they didn't move, so honked at them, then got screamed, cussed out and flipped off by the person in the car, they finally moved and we left, then upon getting in the turning lane, the 2 cars, came up to the light and honked multiple times at me and my family, very rude and won't ever stay at this hotel again, ruined our family vacation, would really appreciate if a manager or GM would reach out to me bc this was way too ridiculous to have to had gone through.

Our room was infested with bedbugs and both me and my fiance received numerous bites. She had an allergic reaction and required benadryl to calm her system. We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and have watched as the property's quality has slipped tremendously. We will never-ever stay at this hotel again!!!!

We've stayed at this hotel multiple times over the last few years. We will no longer be staying at this particular one. First room was dirty with a broke toilet broken mirror and smelt of mold. Switched rooms only to have a dirty one. Hotel smelled of Marijuana all over and staff didn't seem to be bothered by any of it.

Outstanding customer service. Rooms very clean. enjoyed the flat screen TV with many cable channels . AC worked very well. Breakfast in the morning was very good. very pleasant experience. Will be returning!

Asked for room to be cleaned, at least bring fresh towels. Finally last day. Gross black mold on the ceiling. Man at desk was rude. Had to wait in line at the desk every night but 1 to get towels. Breakfast was the same for 4 days. Special coffee machine didn't work for hot chocolate. Totally horrible experience.

very nice hotel just a bit understaffed on our second stay there was a scramble for a desk clerk and then breakfast was 30 minutes late. while our room was clean it was not restocked with towels or coffee supplies

The hotel had a good feel when I walked in. Everything looked up to date and clean. My room was very neat and smelled good upon entry. The free breakfast the next morning was piping hot. I enjoyed sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, but there were many other options also. If I return to Muskogee, I will definitely stay at the Best Western again.

Do not stay here, dirty. Not at all like the reviews on-line. You will be bologna on the breakfast buffet as your meat. First time I ever say this. Room had no amenities and was dingy and dirty. Wallpaper peeling and lamps did not work.

Stopped here driving from Dallas to St. Louis. Easy to get to from the highway. Very friendly front desk staff. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical - eggs, biscuits and gravy and various cold food options. We would definitely stay here again.

Great, friendly receptionist, large, clean room, fluffy bedding and towels, good selection for breakfast, easy to find right off 69. Great price and near good restaurants and antique shopping. Nice hot showers, nice decor in entire hotel.

my stay at Best Western was the most satisfying stay i have experienced while visiting Muskogee. i have family who live i Muskogee so i visit as often as possible. i will definitely continue using this hotel

Extremely friendly staff. Beds comfortable. Room clean and the a/c was on and room was comfortable from the time we walked through the door. Nice amnesties. Breakfast was very good and it was very clean.

This is a typical Best Western. Renee checked us in with efficiency and good will. The checkout staff was also efficient and pleasant--not as pleasant as Renee, but fine. Breakfast was hot and in comfortable surroundings. The room was comfortable, a little worse-for-the-wear, but nice enough.

We routinely stay at the Muskogee location when we come to town to visit family. Renee, at check in offers excellent customer service and always has a smile and a kind word to share. She makes sure the guest feels appreciated.

Our hotel room was nice and clean, the overall area of the hotel was clean and orderly, the lady at the front desk was so friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and to make sure our stay was a great one. She did a great job of suggesting things to see and do in the area. The breakfast was really good with a good choice available. Everything was kept full and hot. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back

As a woman traveling alone I appreciate it when a hotel front desk goes above and beyond to make sure I feel comfortable in my stay. The front desk clerk went above and beyond during check-in. Breakfast was very good but promptly pulled down at the stated time. Don't be late for breakfast! The room was clean and already nice and cool on a summer day. Even though I was on the first floor near the lobby I was not disturbed by noise. I would recommend this hotel.

Our stay was just what we needed after a long day on the road. The friendly, front desk person worked with us to get a quiet room on the 3rd floor and gave us a great dinner spot recommendation. The bed was comfy, shower head and water pressure good and the breakfast had great options; even a waffle maker along with scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage along with other standard continental type options.

Great room....Front desk clerk was missing back in the laundry room playing on his phone ....Told me I wasn't allowed back there guess i should stand at the desk at 1145 at night forever he was very rude....Gave him my Best Western Member card he forgot to put it......Would have let it go but the next morning I talked to 2 other guests at breakfast had similar experiences the night before at the front desk....

* The front desk staff was friendly. * The AC unit made the room feel wet and muggy. * The outlets located on the desk lamp did not work, and the outlets located on the bedside table worked if you jiggled the power cord. * Housekeeping stole my Twizzlers candy out of my room the first morning. * Employees were not allowing guests elevator access on my arrival. When I left five days later, guests on the third floor could not summon the elevator from the third floor. They had to call the front desk who pushed the third floor elevator button from the first floor to send it up. * My tub was slowing draining, so slow that I was in ankle-deep water by the end of my shower. The front desk lady was nice enough to get the hair out of the drain when I requested help, but housekeeping should have called this to the hotel's attention before it got to this point. * I chose this hotel because it had a small kitchen. Kitchen cooking utensils consisted of a spoon, a spatula, a plate, a pot, and a pan. Housekeeping took the spoon the first morning but did not replace it with a clean one. * I left a note for housekeeping to leave me additional washcloths. Additional washcloths were not left, but I was able to get them from a helpful front desk employee. * Cigarette-smoking employees and guests gathered just outside the front entrance, making guests walking into the hotel walk through their smoke clouds.

A year ago when we stayed there it w a party hotel, our room furniture was falling apart and ragged. This time electrical storm knocked out their computers so there was not check in possible.After 20 mins. The manager went home checked all of us in through her computer it her house and by phone. Excellent job for it was getting late and corperate just said wait on cancellations allowed. The lady needs a raise.

We arrived to the hotel around 5 am on Saturday June 23rd, 2022, there was enough parking spaces, which was great. The lobby looks nice! Our room looked apparently clean, but it was not the case. The tub had a brown ring from the previous guest that has taken a bath. I called the manager Saturday around 11am, she was apologetic and said she would send someone to clean it immediately. I thank her! To my surprised when I returned around 8pm the tub has not been clean and my room has not been clean either. I have left the sign on my door that says: clean room. Call the front desk an agent name Patrick apologized for the inconvenience. Patrick was a delight! then I saw the manager and I started to talked to her and she said she had an emergency, that there was no internet that she will go to my room to talk to me about the issue, she never show up to my room. It was late and I got tired of waiting so I just called the front desk to request towels and TP since we had none in the bathroom. I asked to talk to the manager the next morning, the front desk agent said she wasn't at the hotel, then I ask if there was a MOD, he said there was not one. When I was checking out Tuesday morning, I asked to speak to the manager, same thing she wasn't available. Besides the tub being very dirty, there was still debris from the previous guests on the carpet, the closet mirror was cracked, the bedspread was not clean. In conclusion, I stayed 4 nights at the hotel and my room got clean only once. That it's not acceptable. The breakfast was ok overall, great waffles and coffee, the eggs and sausage patties were too salty, uneatable.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was so pleased with my overall experience. The amenities were available and the extra available items for sale were lifesaver. I was exhausted after each day and was relieved to get back to my room to relax.

The lobby is beautiful, the room looked nice if you didn't look too long. The walls were crumbling, carpet was stained and my shoes stuck the tile floor. The whole room smelled dirty, like the kind of dirty that takes years to achieve. It is very obvious that this is an old building that was recently given a coat of paint.

Room was very quiet, breakfast was great. Desk clerk was helpful. Linens were very soft and no shortage of supply like in recent experience in Texas. Ice was only available on first floor, but I think that helped keep the noise down on the floor.

Housekeeping will check you out before it's even check out time. Then tell you that you don't have to worry about going to the front desk to check out. I won't be back to this location when I'm in Muskogee

Very nice place to stay. Inside pool. Easy access to stores, restaurants. Rooms were very clean. The receptionist was outstanding. Every time she saw us, we were asked it everything was ok. Breakfast was excellent. Had a big variety to choose from and plenty of it.

The hotel staff was friendly, our room was clean (this is most important to us), the room was a good size, it is close to everything esp. The Castle and the antique shops, the breakfast had a good selection and was really good.

very clean room lobby breakfast area and pool area. liked having a cup of coffee at 5 pm The parking area is good unless you are pulling a trailer then you need to get there early to get one of the few spaces that you can park with a trailer and not be blocked in the next morning when the parking lot fills up.

At check-in (so after the allotted time to cancel our reservation), we were informed of the water being shut of at 8 am the following morning, due to plumbing issues on that street. Tub didn't drain, so we had to stand in each other's dirty water.

Very clean and comfortable room.The staff was very friendly.The breakfast was great with a large selection of just about anything you could want. Very close to a wide selection of restaurants.IThey also have a laundry service available I will definitely visit this location again

Good hotel, very convenient location, and wonderful staff. Breakfast was very straightforward, but lots a variety-baked goods, cereals, plus biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, french toast sticks, and the waffle maker. the staff was always very friendly and helpful, and the price was really reasonable, especially with suite rooms with a pull out sofa. some of the rooms had some need of repairs, one of the sinks leaked and little issues, but they were very clean.

We were so surprised at how much bang for our buck we got! It was one of the cheapest, nicer hotels in the area. We got the double queen suite with pull-out sofa, and the room was huge. Our kids had a blast playing in all that space. The staff was so friendly and there was always someone at the front desk. I don't think the phone ever even rang more than once before someone answered.

Best Western Muskogee has more to offer with less money, They have made a customer for life. why pay more for less? Why waste money? They have the best breakfast and indoor heated pool and they have something no one else has too..... Renee. She is truly great.

Building was filthy, looks like no one has vacuumed in quite a while.No batteries in remote for tv. Instead of front desk guy just giving me the batteries I asked for he had me go get the controller and bring it back. Ice machine not available. Our fridge didn't work. Bathroom needs a good cleaning. For $140 I would expect just a little better!Room also had a bad smell.

This motel is always perfect room is always clean pool is always warm never have any problems. Breakfast is the best out of any motel in Muskogee. Their Internet in the business center is fast and easy to use

found a great deal on Priceline that was even cheaper than the Best Western rewards. Nice hotel. Check in easy and clerk very helpful suggesting restaurants. Room was good sized, clean and quiet. Right next to the elevator but it did not disturb us. Bed was comfortable and thermostat seemed to keep room at the temperature we set. A refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot were in the room. There were only two towels but you could ask for more and if this saves me money I'm all for it. The tile floor in the bathroom was cold for me but much easier to clean than carpet. Breakfast was great. Good variety of eggs, sausage, spicy potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, bagels, muffins, yogurt, and fruit. Nice sized lobby and coffee also available there. Did not use the pool or exercise area but was available. Made a reservation for here again for the trip home

The young lady at the front desk the night we checked in Renee was super. Made you feel like you were a guest in her home. Very helpful, friendly and thoughtful. Hotel was clean, everything worked and the room was pleasant.

The stay was amazing, I really liked working with Brandi, Terrence, Renee and all the wonderful housekeeping ( Martha, Brandy, Chelsee) Keep up the good work You guys really are amazing and cant wait to return to see all the beautiful faces

Nicely redone rooms. However it was obvious they missed a lot of details with wood etc. breakfast was pretty good. Easy access to main route. Walmart was about a mile away. Heat/ac was hard to regulate and somewhat noisey. Bed was comfortable

I just wanted to let the employees know that they are doing a great job. Sometimes I think people like to Knick pick and make it seem terrible they they forget that the employees are human and have families outside of Best Western Plus. Just think of your day and then think maybe the employee you are fixing to complain too or about may be having a worse day. Front Desk clerk Renee is really amazing you can tell she really cares, its not fake. She helped us check in and very sweet. I hope best western appreciates her. All staff we have encountered were truly amazing,

Great lobby, everything else is run down. Noise issues and room may not be up to par. Service provided by staff is excellent but rooms require updating. Loud AC, broken shower head and hot water only ran for 3 minutes, then luke warm.

We stayed in this hotel several times and it has been different every time. The last night there was mold all over the ceiling and the front desks was rude when we asked for another pillow for my daughter. They also were giving people the same room. We had several people open our door and say they gave them our room number as theirs.

Hotel was clean, reasonably priced rooms and had the best breakfast we had on our trip. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be staying there again on our next trip to visit family!

The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean. Could help but notice musty mildew odor though. Tolerable if staying one night only. If you have allergies, might want to consider elsewhere. Breakfast is good.

Enjoyed our two-night stay. Clean and well maintained, mostly. Closet doors off track. Tried to print a report in business center; no working lighting (good think it was daytime). Cleaning staff left thermostat a frigid temp, left tv on and lights on.

This is an excellent hotel. I travel 52 weeks a year and this is one of my go to hotels. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The property is well maintained and easily accessible.

We arrived after driving for 7 hours at 7:30 PM and told that our room wasn't quite ready and that we could hang around for about 30 minutes to check-in. 8 PM! When we got in the room - the room appeared made up and we started to unpack and shower for the evening and the bath doesn't appear to have been cleaned from the prior guests. The shower had a dirty washcloth hanging from the shower head and the fridge had half eaten food and drinks in it. I can imagine that the rest of the room wasn't as clean as we would have wanted as well. The room was musty and damp the lobby chairs were "refreshed" and freshly decorated but stained. The mattress felt like you are sleeping on a covered cardboard box. I am not sure what they did to make it so lumpy and hard and soft at the same time. If you have other options - take them.

What sort of hotel provides STAINED linens?? The room itself was clean and appeared comfortable, and we arrived extremely late at night after a long drive so we just dropped into bed without examining anything closely. When we woke up in the morning and it was light, however, we discovered the sheet had a large (like 10" inches across so clearly visible) oil (?) stain, the pillow case had a black stain, the comforter had multiple stains and one of the towels also had brownish stains. There was red mold on the shower curtain, the bathroom sink sounds like a jackhammer when the water is turned on and the lamp on the desk needs a new lightbulb. The (stained) towels were abnormally small and very rough, and there were no spares - two people, two towels. That's it for our stay. We were informed on check-in to put the "do not disturb" sign on our door so the cleaning staff wouldn't come in because they were very busy - basically we were told not to BOTHER them?? Isn't cleaning and making our stay comfortable their job?? We will never stay there again. I expected better of a Best Western.

Overall hotel is good from the outside, average on the inside, and disgusting at the room level (at least in my experience). After an abnormally long check in, which was fine since I did not have to be anywhere, I went into my room and, as usual, inspected the room. What I found was blood, sweat, and urine stains on the sheets and pillows, but at least they made the bed look professionally made. Decided I was going to cancel the reservation and go to a competing hotel, but the manager was able to persuade me to stay by checking the cleanliness of a new room herself. If I had not been tired from traveling, I would have checked out. If anything, she should have comped me for the night or at least reduced the rate. However, if not for the service staff not doing their jobs, this would have just been another average hotel stay. Quality control, retraining, and inspection need to be incorporated into the day-to-day operations.

Worst hotel experience ever! Night one we come into our room and were given nasty stained towels. Day two we go to the pool and ask for towels to be informed the hotel had no clean towels available. That night around 845PM we went to the front desk to ask for some clean towels considering its out second night and we had used the other towels to dry off from the pool. We were told the hotel still didn't have any clean towels available. I spoke with Nanci Johnson the general manager and told her about the situation and ask her to either discount our room or refund our stay to make up for the cost we were going to be spending on towels. She very rudely explain that neither were going to happen. Macy did a great job working the front desk and trying to make our stay good for what its worth.

I tried to find the general managers contact information so I could send them a direct email instead of airing all grievances on a public platform, however, I forgot to ask when I left and its near impossible to find on my own. I like to give people a chance to fix things first but without contact information, I had to come here. I didn't have the chance to address my concerns during my stay because of timing and commitments. We were going to a wedding in Boynton and flew into Tulsa so Muskogee was the closest place to stay. I went back and forth on if I should stay here or at the Holiday Inn but price won for this trip so Best Western it was. The low price should have been my first clue. Check-in was smooth, the employee who checked me in was friendly and informative. The lobby was clean. However, when we made our way up to our room, that is when things started to decline. The elevator was wet from what I assumed was people wet from the pool. Our floor (3) was fine except for a random pair of work boots and clothes in the hallway...that stayed there all weekend. The room was clean and I want to make sure this is noted. The room was VERY clean and I can tell how hard housekeeping staff works. We saw them both mornings we were there and they were busy taking care of things. However, the condition of the room was less than desirable. The lamp shades were stained and had marks all over them and wouldn't stay on the actual lamp. The outlet behind the nightstand was so crooked that I almost couldn't plug my charger into it. The outlets on one of the lamps didn't work. The lamp on the desk didn't even turn on but the outlet worked so it must have been the bulb? The frame around the mirror in the bathroom had its paint/finishing peeling and flaking off. The curtains had a couple of stains on them but since the air-conditioner was right below I don't think it could have been prevented. When you sat on the foot stool by the chair, the middle was so broken down that you were on the ground when you sat on it. The top of the desk in the room was almost completely separated from the actual desk frame that you could see the unfinished edges of the material. In addition, we ran out of hot water the last morning we were there and only my boyfriend had taken a shower. Literally the first time that has ever happened to me in a hotel. In addition, the last night we were there I needed an extra towel (we opted to not have housekeeping visit since we needed to get ready and the time overlapped). When I called the front desk I was told they didn't have any towels because they had run out and she was putting them in the dryer and they would be ready in about 30 minutes. I went down to the desk about an hour later to get a towel and a drink from the store and was told that she forgot to put the towels in the dryer and to check back again in 30 minutes. Third time was a charm. Accidents happen, people forget, no worries there but like...where did all the towels go???? The last night almost did me in. When we got back from the event we attended, there were a ton of people gathered in the lobby for what appeared to be a birthday party. The birthday party must have made its way up to my floor at the evidence of a very large trash bag of pizza boxes and cake the next morning. Even more than that, I heard doors slamming and people running up and down the hall ALL. NIGHT. LONG. Literally. It was awful and if I had to make a long drive, I wouldn't have been able to do it. Hopefully this was out of the norm for this property and I just drew a bad card. However, I don't think I'll reserve with Best Western in the future and just go with a hotel company I am familiar with.

I have stayed at this BW in the past and loved it, not this time! We were given a room on the first floor and heard every time someone walked across the floor above us. The shower leaked and soaked the bathroom floor. Breakfast was only served from 6-8 (no signs posted to tell hours) and we missed it the first morning. We got there at 8:15 and the attendant was throwing food away and was very rude when we asked about breakfast. Had a room with a connecting door and could hear our neighbors talking all night long. The only plus was that the front desk attendants were very friendly.

3star hotel on google review but i would rate this a 2star. Outside view looks great. Dont let that fool you. We had the King Suite since it was the only room left at the time. For the rate that we paid for, the suite was rather small and there were noticeable stains on the curtains(yellow/ red/ brown). Lamp shades were broken. Faucet in the bathroom was broken where if you turn the water on, the water would squirt over the sink to the floor. No extra bedding was available and when asked for it, we were told that there may not be any left. Breakfast was ok. Eggs were too salty so preferred to not have salt on and be given salt packets. The lady working in the breakfast was quiet rude. No Good Morning, just a stare at you and pointed to what was avl.

Stayed one night thank God. The door to the stairway slammed shut everytime it was opened. I was pretty much in front of it. Didnt get any sleep. So request being far away from stairwell door. If you want to sleep.

To flush the toilet I had to take the lid off the tank. There was dirty toilet paper on the floor. Paint was peeling off the walls. I did not think that Best Western let there properties get in this poor of shape.

My husband and I have stayed here a several times in 2018-2020. Each visit seems to be a little worse. The hotel has gone downhill very quickly. Seems like every time we stay there's some type of tournament nearby, baseball, fishing. This causes an extremely packed parking lot between vehicles with boats taking up 4-5 spaces and big rigs which occupy 2 spaces. There were ants in the room during our last visit, the room smelled damp and you had to physically close the door behind you because it got caught every time. We were the only ones wearing masks even with signs on the door and at the front desk. Even though staff had on masks they weren't being worn properly. Breakfast was ok, better than some but not as good as others. Unless BW remodels we will not be back to BW Muskogee.

This place was so nasty there were stains all over the couch,ceiling,sheets wich they didn't change,and breakfast ended at 8 like who would wanna wake up so early.I would advise that you go to Hampton's beside it.

Spent a week and a day at Best Western Plus. Upon arrival Check-in was a breeze. Manager on duty was very friendly. The lobby was clean and decorated nicely. Went to my room but had to change rooms due to uncleanness. Someone just checked out of the room. The Manager wasted no time changing my room and sought out to see why that room wasn't clean. The hallway needs a touch up.The stay was great! Breakfast was pretty decent. Wish u knew that I was able to bring my dog ( there's a fee for each day your pet is there). On the site it said no pets but when I checked in she told me that they do allow pets. I would recommend anyone to stay here. I liked it.

Good hotel for the price. Outside and lobby looked new and fresh. 2nd floor coming off the elevator I was a little nervous about the condition of the room because the hallway walls were in bad need of repair and paint. Once in the room, everything was clean and in working order. You could tell the bedding and curtains were fairly new and fresh. Only negative thing about this trip was that breakfast started at 6:00 and barn gates opened at 6. Wished the breakfast would have been available at 5:00.

Our heater did not work, it blew cold air all night. I was with my son and elderly mother, both of which have respiratory problem which the cold exacerbated. Hotel did not attempt to fix the problem. Was not allowed to have coffee in the room, did not appreciate having to ask front desk for coffee

First off, let me say this hotel is not the worst I've been in. If you expect a step up from a Motel 6, then this is your place. If you are a regular at flagships like Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, then Book one of those. Do NOT be tempted by a good deal, or in my case, a Priceline Express deal. The lighting is low cost fluorescent and you don't get much of it. The first room they put me in, one of the dim lamps actually shorted out after I turned it on. I called the front desk to report it and my phone wasn't working properly either. I went downstairs to ask for a new room and the front desk was nice enough. I really wanted to just eat the cost and go somewhere else, but I paid for an upgrade to a ‘suite' which was like a decent room at another hotel. I slept fine, the bathroom was adequate but everything is just needing an upgrade or at least some TLC. So many choices in Muskogee, go elsewhere.

hotel was deceiving based on pic from on line. in order to get clean towels you had to give dirty towels back and then we weren't given any towels till the next day. Throw up in pool area not cleaned up for hours.

Great facility, lovely people working there, very attentive and kind. Unfortunately the room was smelly, and damp - and there was mold in the bathrooms. Our clothing was damp even sitting on the table top, never touching the floor.

The lobby is beautiful, the rooms are nicely appointed but overall, this hotel isn't the high quality experience I expected based upon the reviews and past BWP experiences. For starters, as new as it looks, the a/c system smells contaminated with mold. We actually turned it off (and it's 85 degrees outside.) The room looks clean but feels dirty. This is the 5th hotel Room we have been in over the past 6 days, and they all felt Covid-ready. This one not so much. One of our hand towels has a hole in it, and it looks as if the hotel management is not repairing damage — lots of areas look really beaten up in the room as well as in the hallway. There are no cups/glasses in the room and the bathroom light is like a strobe light. I guess Oklahoma doesn't mandate masks, so after being in three states with restrictions, it was unnerving to see guests roaming the building and piling into the elevator with no masks on. I understand the hotel is probably powerless to create a safe space for its guests so not condemning, simply observing. The price was fair but, that said, last night we stayed in a less-expensive hotel in NM that was immaculate, disinfected, and Covid-ready. It would be nice if as much attention were paid to the details in this hotel as we had hoped. It just feels dirty and sloppy.

I recently stayed here for a couple nights while getting my son set up in Tahlequah for college. I had several Muskogee hotels from which to choose but went with previous trip advisor reviews and chose the Best Western. Definitely a good choice!! Hotel was very clean, room was spacious (king bed, nice bathroom, sitting area with a couch and a couple of chairs), employees were wearing masks, bed very comfortable, AC nice and cold, and room cleaned really well. They do have a breakfast and told me at check-in that it is not help yourself. You tell the attendant what you want, they will bring your food to you, and you'll need to take it back to your room to eat. Sounds really reasonable, especially since a couple other hotels I've stayed at have just done away with their breakfasts. I didn't eat at the hotel so can't rate this but I'm sure it works just fine. Definitely would stay here again.

Are stay was nice everybody was nice but the night audit guy he was rude wasn't nice at all this was the first 2 weekend we stayed there this weekend i didn't see him but my daughter did an said still acted like he didn't want to be there. Saturday night there was a different guy now he was real nice and helpful. We stayed June 19th-21, 26th-28, & July 3rd-5th. And not sure if ya'll put cups in the rooms or not cause each stay we had to ask for them.

wonderfully clean, rooms are very nice. It was great that the pool was opened till 11.00 pm. Due in part to Covid-19 there was restriction on breakfast but that was no way the hotels fault. I will be staying there again in the coming months

We were on a motorcycling trip and this was a nice place to stay, great location. I felt the room was clean, and I thought it was very comfortable. Breakfast was included. Hot item were offered and there was a good selection of them.

We where surprise by the price that this was a new modern designed hotel. Everyone was very friendly. The breakfast was served and currently you have to take it back to your room to eat. We are looking forward to enjoying this hotel on our next trip through. Hopefully everything will be back to normal.

We have stayed here before. It has always been ok. This time not so much. The bathroom looked as if there had been an animal left in there. The vanity was all scratched up, the sink was cracked across the middle and a big divet was broken out of the bathtub. Our room was on the 1st floor by the side door. Which is what we wanted. However when we got there the side door was open. It was being propped open with a rock. I kicked the rock away and latched the door. About an hour later we went out to the car and it was done again. So my husband went and told the desk clerk. She really didn't care. Next thing was that the thermostat governor is set too high. It was warm in our room the whole time. The only thing that let me get what little sleep I did get because of the temperature was that I had a small fan in my suitcase that I was able to point at my face. We are rewards members and always try to stay at BW when possible. But will seriously consider not staying here again.

It is always a pleasure to stay at the BWP, they are always friendly and helpful from the time we get there till we leave the next morning, Thanks to the staff there. Thanks for taking care of us. Keep up the fine job.

Excellent price. Property was well maintained with nice decor. Staff was very polite and always helpful. Breakfast was great, good variety and the coffee was always ready. Pool was clean and heated and We had a great stay.

Everything about this place was great. Very nice clean pool for the kids. The fitness center was small but well stocked and well kept. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy. No complaints and will likely use BW again.

Manager (Nancy) and staff were great. Treated me with respect, felt like family... Cant wait to use this hotel again. House keeping staff were prompt and went over and beyound their call of duty. they went out of their way to render help to any situation. I will be using this hotel during any future visit to Oklahoma.

Our family stayed for a mini-vacation as part of our yearly tradition of celebrating New Year's. Members of our group were from 12 years old to over 70 years. We had 4 king suites and they were perfect -- spotless, roomy, comfortable beds, pull-out sofa-bed, small refrigerator, and microwave. The pool was clean and warm. Breakfast was amazing and there were enough choices to please everyone, including strawberry waffles! The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. My husband is in a wheelchair and they made sure he had a room near the elevator. The entire family made statements about this being one of the best holidays ever and the best hotel we have ever selected for our trip. We plan to return next year.

Staff was very friendly and got us extra blankets. The bed was so comfortable. The pull out for the kids was not very comfortable. Breakfast was very well stocked. Internet was a bit slow. Overall, would definitely stay there again!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area. The price is good and the included hot breakfast is great and there is ample area to sit and eat! Having coffee and hot water available 24 hrs is a nice touch as well. The room was nice, clean, and well decorated, the bed was very comfortable.

Rooms were very clean and staff was very friendly. I slept very well on the mattress. Breakfast was good but I didn't care for the eggs with peppers and onions. Overall it was clean and quiet, perfect for my nights stay.

The room itself was clean, a bit small, the bed was comfortable, pillows not as much, the decor was nice. The bathroom was clean except for water streak buildup on shower walls. The breakfast area and Libby was beautiful. Can't say about menu offerings, I left too early. Looked as though they had hot and cold items as there were 2 schafer pans sitting on the bar. Had coffee and tea available 24 hours

We stayed for one night on our way to Corpus Christi, TX. We arrive around 12:30 am and got up and left around 8 am the next morning. Checked in was quick and breakfast was great. The bed was great and the bathroom/shower were very good! Would stay again.

I was driving through Oklahoma on my way to Texas from Missouri, and booked a room at the Best Western Plus Inn & Suites. It was a lovely stay! I contacted the hotel directly to book the reservation, and the agent was extremely friendly and helpful. Before my arrival, Best Western sent me an email to confirm my upcoming stay and offered express check-in online. When I arrived, my room was ready and check-in was a breeze. The room itself was quite lovely; spacious and clean with all the amenities (including a microwave and refrigerator). I loved the "vessel" style sink in the bathroom! All the fixtures, furniture, carpeting and paint were fresh and updated. The bed and pillows were of great quality; since the hotel is away from the highway, it was very quiet and I slept quite comfortably. Special thanks to Tre at the front desk for being so friendly and welcoming, for her restaurant recommendations, and for helping me out when I discovered my cell phone had stopped working. She transferred several calls on the landline system of the hotel as I tried to solve the problem. Breakfast was quite tasty--an expanded continental buffet, with a waffle machine and eggs, sausage, potato options along with the traditional pastries, cereals, fruit, coffee, etc. It was a great way to start the morning before a long drive in the car. The location of the hotel is very handy for travelers, just off the intersection of highways 69 and 62 at the north end of town. I definitely recommend the Best Western in Muskogee as the perfect stop-over when traveling through the Great Plains. I'll be back again!

Being an older woman and traveling for business alone, I feel very safe staying in a Best Western facility. Everything is always very well kept, clean, and beds are very comfortable, with wonderful pillows.

Great motel. It is very clean and nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is was you would expect but they change it up on occasion. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. The wi-fi is kinda slow.

Spent one night here and found the hotel to be very good. It is easy to get to and looks to be fairly new. There was plenty of parking and the staff was friendly and helpful. Trey?? was manning the customer service desk and she was very friendly and extremely helpful. You felt almost like you were at home! Our room was clean and comfortable and quite nice. Had a great night's sleep. The free breakfast was normal, but good. The coffee was very good as well. It was clean and plenty of choices. If ever in the area again, we will stay here.

Its was a awesome stay i enjoy stay amd the morning breakfast. The pool was great and fitness room was fun i recommended to back for a next visit. For a staycation. For the family, couples and business.

Travelled to see the fall foliage in oklahoma. The motel had some updates but the bed could stand to be updated, the rooms were musty but febreze helped and the air conditiner didnt cool well. The bolster pillow needed to be cleaned. Sheets were nice and the room itself was clean. Breakfasr was okay. Staff were nice. Outside exit door would not open with a room key.

I woke up and could not find my car keys or business phone. When I went to leave my room I noticed my door was not latched shut. My truck was not in the parking lot. The surveillance system was out of service, which sounded like a solid way to catch the thief/thieves since you have to be buzzed in, or be staying there, in order to enter during evening hours. Unfortunately, after several days of the hotel saying they were having trouble viewing the video I was told their system was broken.

A wonderful experience from making reservations to checking out. Friendly and accommodating staff, clean rooms, and extremely easy to access. Meeting room had good access for catering meals and good access for AV equipment.

This is a nice hotel. The breakfast was great. We used the pool, it was clean and nice. The staff was all very nice. When we arrived we asked for adjoining rooms and were told the hotel was almost full, but the nice lady at the desk moved somethings around and found us 2 rooms together!

The hotel had a deep odor of mold and mildew. We were moved to the top floor from first flood, the room had a lesser smell but it was still there... Hotels may have been affected by the rain and flooding in area, but, needs a deep cleaning and removal of carpet, etc.

I stopped here to take a nap on my way home from Texas! The staff was very understanding and got me a room right away. The beds were comfortable and I slept great! This hotel is at a convenient location and I will definitely stop again on my way back through.

The stay here was excellent! The lobby area had a very modern vibe to it! The room was nice! And the staff all seemed very nice! The swimming pool was indoors next to the gym. The swimming pool was not heated though. We still enjoyed it though! The only real cons that we came across were more opinion based. Such as the beds were a little on the stiff side and the lack of water pressure in the shower.

I remember a song "I'm Proud To Be An Okie From Muskogee" way back when so I always wanted to see what Muskogee was like. Well this hotel is great and the city was interesting too. We had a good time here albeit short.

Perfect hotel for launching out each day from. Comfortable and very clean. Important to me is good coffee available all the time, and they have it. Great staff.. helpful and friendly. I liked having a computer available for guest use. They have to in office setting with nice chairs , pens, paper,printer.

Our air conditioner did not work, and the staff made no effort to fix it. Others in our group did not have the same issue. Overall the hotel was not bad, I would rate it as average for the price. Probably would not stay again if other options were available.

Surrounded by several “glitzy” looking competitors, this Best Western Plus is a genuine treasure. The friendly staff, clean, well-appointed reception area and rooms made for a restful break in our travels.

We chose this for a trip with our grand daughter because of the indoor pool. We had traffick and got into the hotel later than planned. The desk worker let the pool open a half hour later for her to swim. Great customer service, very clean and reasonably priced.

We were able to check in early, earlier than we expected. Due to weather conditions we needed extra time to get to our destination AFTER checking in and we were accommodated...with pleasure!!! Thank you, Muskogee BW Staff! You ROCK!!!!

Large mat at the entrance was curled up and people were tripping on it .. Reported to staff each time we came through lobby and same rug was there until we said we were calling corporate. Didn't replace just turned it around. Broken shower curtains rod that dropped down and curtain would slide to the middle of the rod causing water to get on floor. Lot of other hotels around, we will be giving them a try.

Comfortable bed, good Internet. All I really needed for my night. I didn't want to get out of bed. Breakfast was good as well. Quick check-in upon arrival.the TV are 40' and good channels too. I staid for 3 more nights with no issues.

Was very pleased with the room and the people working there. This was our second stay at a Best Western, and plan to continue to pick them as our Hotle of choice. Like the pool and the breakfast, these our both impotant to us

Stopped here with hubs and adult daughter on our way to San Antonio. Made the reservation on line about 2 hours away. Fast, easy check in at about 10 PM. Updated decor, coffee in the lobby. Room was very clean, neat and modern. Ample pillows, comfortable queen beds. Bathroom was small but clean and adequate. Water pressure wasn't the best, but there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was very good! Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, potatoes with peppers and onions. Plus the regulars of toast, cereal and oatmeal. Again, very clean dining area. Would highly recommend this hotel if passing through.

I pick hotels according to the cleanliness and breakfast and this hotel was amazing in both categories. Great room for a low price and they have everything a pricey hotel has. Pool, excercise room, and staff were all great as well. The breakfast lady acted like she hated her life but other than that it was a wonderful experience.

Friendly staff, decent breakfast, comfortable room and bed. Reasonable rates. We walked in without a reservation, and got a first-floor room with a king bed. We would visit again on our travels south.

We have stayed here a couple of times, and found the staff friendly and helpful, the price a good value, and the location not far from highway and very quiet. The coffee is fresh even in the evening. Work out room and pool clean.

Great hotel. Very fun swimming pool with fiber optic lights in fountains that flow into the pool. Shut off the overhead lights and play in the beautiful lighting. The common areas have a fun variety of lighting fixtures and retro furniture.

We had a nice stay here in Muskogee at the Best Western Plus. The rooms and property were nice, clean, and well kept. The beds and pillows were nice and super comfortable. All of the staff that we encountered were always so nice and helpful.

My wife and I stayed in a different hotel in Muskogee previously and were unhappy, so we tried the Best Western Plus, having had luck usually with Best Westerns in the past. We weren't disappointed. Check in was friendly and fast. The guest room was comfortable enough and clean. The public rooms also were clean and comfortable enough. The free breakfast was welcomed at 6:00 in the morning, and it was passable. This is a good place to stay if you're passing through and just need one or two nights to rest.

This is NOT a kid friendly hotel. The girls were laughing coming from the pool to the elevators and was yelled at by the lady at the front desk. I could see this if it was 10 at night but it wasn't. She proceeded to call our room which we didn't answer. Another family with kids had the same experience. The hotel itself is fine but if you are traveling with your kids and she is on duty beware. You will be made to feel like you have to walk on egg shells. Stay at the Hampton across the street.

The room was clean. The breakfast was decent. However, I've never had a hotel not make up our room before.....Arriving back to the hotel after a long day of travelling to a messy room and messy bed, no towels or soap products was a bit of a shock. There was a sign under our door saying that we had put a “do not disturb” sign on our door, which we hadn't! I called down to the front desk (not expecting people to clean now, but rather hoping for clean towels, etc) only to discover a very rude and unsympathetic front desk worker. So because of that service, we checked out! There are many hotels in the area that will offer good service, we'll spend our money there instead!

Total experience was 5-Star. Front desk staff, Brandy, was great. Room was very clean. Experienced a slight problem with the room (broken lamp), but Brandy took care of it within minutes of being notified. Great breakfast. I accidentally left my laptop but the hotel called us before I even realized it! Kudos to housekeeping staff for promptly turning it in and for their contacting me quickly, before I had left the area. Nice decor. Fresh, hot coffee in the lobby all the time. We'll always choose this property when we're in the area.

Toom was dirty had to cal front desk about fight or something going on above us no sleep kept up off and on all night. We were traveling for sonin law death and was needing some rest just the whole experance would keep us from best western chain

Property was poorly maintained leading to the emergency alarm going off 3 times during a one night stay. There was no manager or owner present during our entire stay and the staff was unable to get a response from the owner. Needless to say, we did not even get a decent night's sleep and there was no willingness to adjust our bill. Terrible experience.

The room was beautiful, which is what made the experience even sadder. Took me three phone calls to get confirmation e-mail. When I made the reservation, I stated that we have a service dog. (She is my hearing dog.) Upon arrival, at the door, I was firmly and forcefully asked "Is that a service dog?" When I stated yes, I was told that the inn was ". . not dog friendly, but I guess it's different with service dogs." "I guess it's different with Service Dogs," was stated a couple of times. The attitude was very derisive and unfriendly, even though my dog was well behaved. Clearly, we were not welcome. Once we got to the room (very nice, I would have enjoyed the stay under different circumstances), around 11:00 PM, the fire alarm went off. When we dressed and came downstairs, we learned it was a malfunction in the system and not the first time. We left. While I was checking out, the woman who checked me in was carrying on a tense personal conversation on her cell at the desk. I wouldn't have left if it had just been about the fire alarm- that was just a simple malfunction- stuff breaks. It was the entire experience.

Bed was a little hard for me. Very clean. The breakfast bar needs bacon but they had ham, sausage, eggs, fried potatoes, every kind of bread, waffles. Excellent service. The front desk folk were more than helpful and made sure you were happy.

Stayed here twice now on trips home. Very nice room for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed is comfortable. Rooms are clean. I will definitely be staying again as long as they keep their rates reasonable!

Was in town for a couple nights. Wasn't expecting anything extraordinary but to my surprise the bed/pillow situation exceeded my expectations. The check in was quick, everyone I encountered was friendly. The free breakfast offered was decent. I would stay here again if I return.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Check-in was fast! The room was so clean and it appeared to be recently updated. Plenty of room for the two of us and the bed was wonderful. Slept very well. Breakfast was also very nice - scrambled eggs, ham, french toast sticks plus a variety of pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt and the usual assortment of cereals, etc.

Husband and I was making a driving tour looking at fall foliage and stopped for just 1 night. Used my rewards points for this stay and was pleased that it didn't cost anything till I got bill and I was charged $25 for the use of the points. Believe that room charge would have been just $75. With taxes charge to credit card was $31. Should have saved points to use at mir expensive BW. Room was very good, clean, and well stocked. It was very dark though, we had to use flashlights on phones to see in suitcases. Beds were wonderful and had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was ok, nothing exceptional. All & all good quick stop just to rest and continue on.

I'm in the great state of Oklahoma visiting with family members in Tulsa and Checotah. Muskogee is the perfect in-between location. I am so glad I found this hotel period every staff member I have encountered is incredibly friendly and hospitable. There is always somebody cleaning this and cleaning that. My room was immaculately clean, quiet, and most important comfortable. The guest laundry washing machine could use a little attention. The continental breakfast was perfect. This hotel is close to shopping, and many great eateries.

This is probably one of the best hotel stays I have ever had! The rooms were comfortable, the staff was friendly, housekeeping does an amazing job, and the general manager was an absolute sweetheart! Breakfast was very good with a wide selection for everyone. I will always stay here when I am in town. It is my new home away from home.

We stayed for one night. The pool area with the colored fountains is very cool, but they need more seating. The room was clean. The breakfast area was kept clean and they had lots of good options. The only issue I had is that I paid online with reward points. Later, I noticed a charge of over $30 on my credit card. The front desk staff corrected the issue quickly. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Stayed here a few night with our family of 6. Employees were very kind and friendly. Accommodating a family of 6 was not an issue here. Very respectful. We will come back to this place every time, refuse to go anywhere else.

As in time past, I've found the staff members from tbe front desk to the housekeeping department to be very friendly, courteous and well oriented to the needs of their guestd. The facilities are well taken care of.

This was the best hotel, I have ever been in. The breakfast is one of the best I have ever had in a hotel setting. They have waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, all types of cereal, lots of juices, Coffee and so much more. The rooms were clean, every hotel worker has been a blessing. It was late and we could not find silverware and the workers here gave us some. How generous. I have not ever been in a hotel that has treated us with the upmost respect. I cannot wait til next year. This was such an amazing and warming feeling. I have nothing but good things if I could give this hotel a 10 star I would.

I stayed a night hear and was pleased. The price for a newer hotel was excellent. Hotel was clean and kept well. Decor was great since it's new. Beds were good and I liked the bath amenities. They have a nice heated pool. Wish they had a hot tub. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but it was edible. Staff were friendly. I'd definitely stay here again

I've enjoyed my stay here a few times. It's a beautiful hotel with helpful staff and clean. The downside is there's no restaurant or bar/grill. Prices are great. I'll go back. There are restaurants within a few miles. Just ask for a recommendation.

My husband and I stayed here for a small getaway. It is very clean, and the staff were wonderful. It was also extremely peaceful and quiet. When we need a small getaway we will definitely stay here again

The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. I wish the bathroom had a fan and/heater and a night light. Breakfast food was okay but greatly inadequate amount of seating. Swimming pool was nice but no whirlpool.

Hotel was clean, up to date, spacious, and in a great spot. I had no problems finding it. The staff was very helpful, attentive and courteous. Breakfast offered a good variety of choices, was hot and stayed stocked. Pool area was clean, stocked with towels for convenience and with nice lukewarm water. I had a great stay and shall be back!!

We stayed in a King Suite with a kitchenette. The room was clean and comfortable - especially the bed. I liked having plenty of hot water in the shower and good water pressure. Pool room not very well ventilated. The breakfast was not restocked and we arrived about an hour after they started serving and it was pretty well picked clean. We came for an event at The Castle of Muskogee and were VERY close!

The customer service at the front desk was severely lacking and the refrigerator in my room (room 314) was leaking all over the cabinet it was in and the carpet. After our room was serviced for linens, my fiance discovered an item of his was missing from the nightstand. We are assuming it was thrown away, but upon calling the front desk about it the only thing she did for us was tell us she would check the lost and found. Doesn't make sense how it would end up there since it was never 'lost'. We would expect to be reimbursed for the item taken, but that was not the case. Furthermore, I very specifically told the front desk associates when I checked in that I am NOT interested in enrolling in Best Western rewards, but they both ignored me and signed me up anyway. DISRESPECTFUL

I would stay there again after staying at the Best Western ( Muskogee) four nights. The staff was most attentive and the hotel had large clean rooms! The location was very good with shopping close by; the nights were quiet.

I checked in and was greeted by a friendly front desk lady. I was given a room on the third floor which I requested when I made the reservation. Upon entering the room it seemed very clean. I sat at the desk and was eating dinner when I noticed an ant crawl across the desk. I got rid of it and then noticed another. I start to look around the desk area and notice ants crawling everywhere and upon further investigation I see them all over the air condition unit and on the walls. I called the front desk and young lade apologized and immediately gave me a new room on the first floor. I moved my luggage into the new room and went into the bathroom and noticed a few more ants on the wall. I called the front desk again to tell her of the issue and stated I did not want to move rooms again as it was getting late. I woke up the next morning, entered the bathroom and was shocked at what I saw. Hundreds of black ants everywhere. I immediately backed my bags and waited in the lobby for the breakfast bar to open. I was sitting there at 6:00 AM and the lobby was dark. I was told breakfast started at 6:00 and there was no one around. In strolls a young man who worked there and I asked him what was going on and his response was "My bad" followed by "It ain't no thing".... I have stayed at many Best Western Plus hotels and this was by far the worst experience.

The young lady who if you would say.....greeted us with a roll of the eyes and a cell phone in her hand texting....was so rude just unreal. Then there was a storm and the rain poored through the windows and doors and flooded the bottom floor. Then our heater wouldnt shut off. We were in Tornado warning so it was very muggy....couldnt sleep but the young lady on the desk, different from earlier, put us in the room accross the hall. So she saved the day. My thing is the mold in the hotel because of the rain pooring through the windows onto the carpets everytime it rains....whoever built this building should not have a licence...

The hotels Wi-Fi was totally down. They did not tell us this at check in; as a matter of fact they gave us a password to connect to wifi. We found out about an hour after we had settled in when we called and asked why we couldn't log on then they informed us it had been out all day. They gave us the password in case in somehow came back on. It didn't.

Super clean rooms. Staff was great and friendly. The pool was a hit with my kids because of the colored lights that came from the fountains. Breakfast was good too! Very happy with my stay! The decor of the hotel is all new. 5stars!

I called the hotel directly to make the reservations. The young woman only answered with the name of the hotel, nothing else. I asked her to email me a confirmation. I called back later to tell her I had not received the email. She read back to an email address substantially different from the one I had given her. I asked for the confirmation number so I could pull it up online but the number she gave me didn't work. I called her back again when I still failed to receive an email and she essentially shrugged and said it was in there. My husband arrived and had to wait 10 minutes before some came to the desk. They refused to give him a senior discount although he is 67. The next morning he had to go find someone to check him out. Nothing else matters. This level of customer service was so bad that I not make a reservation in any Best Western anywhere.

The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The team of employees were energetic and friendly. I liked the location and the fact that I did not have to leave the hotel to attend my class because of the spacious conference room.

Our stay was Great! After traveling hours with 3 kids, and grandma this was a great choice! Great amenities and breakfast was a GREAT start for the next day of travel. We will stop here again on our next journey.

Stay here on a weekly basis and will continue staying here regularly through the foreseeable future. Great hotel aesthetically, clean, staff is friendly. Accommodations are great for the size of Muskogee. Can be noisy throughout the night.

We stayed here on our way home and arrived after a very long day on the road. Everyone on staff was extremely kind and helpful. The decor is colorful and modern and the rooms were extremely large and comfortable.

Best Western Muskogee is a new hotel. The lobby is very nice as is the breakfast area. The rooms look nice but the quality of this hotel is not the same as comparable properties in the area. The furniture seems cheap and is damaged in some places. This didn't really bother me though. The one negative was the thin walls. I could hear the people on each side of my room as well as the people walking around in the room above me. Also, the room lighting is poor. Thankfully we could open the curtains and let in the sunlight to resolve this. The pool area is neat but the pool itself is very small. The hotel is in a great location near many stores and restaurants.

We usually look for Best Western first. Rarely are we disappointed. The lighting in this particular room was too dim. Had light bulb on one side of room only. Did not like the coffee pot being in the bathroom next to the toilet. We usually get a room with a separate sink. We thought this one had one but it didn't. Otherwise everything else was okay.

We stayed here overnight on our way to Texas. Hotel was easy to find, the room was clean, the modern decor was great. My daughter loved the color founatins in the pool and the pool was clean as well. Breakfast was fine. No complaints and would stay again when traveling through. The nearby "The Castle" looked fun but we were a week too early for their drive thru of holiday lights.

The rooms and bed were excellent and clean, the hotel was excellent and easy to find, the staff was good at both check-in and check-out. The only complaint was the breakfast, the eggs were runny and the biscuits were dry

This property is always a welcome overnight stop when we're traveling through Muskogee. The hotel is attractive, just off the highway with no traffic noise, and close to restaurants and shopping. The desk clerk handles reservations and check-in in a friendly, helpful manner. We can depend on a good night's sleep and an adequate breakfast to get us on our way the next morning.

Not much in Muskogee but this new Best Western will suffice if you're on a tight budget. You'll benefit from the new construction albeit in five years or so it'll be a different story unless they stay on top of the daily maintenance. The "free breakfast" isn't much - a small eating area with a limited selection of food. Fairly large gas station nearby for a quick re-fill upon arrival or departure. Very attentive night staff after you find them - nobody was manning the desk on both our stays there. Telephone line to the front desk was always busy as well.

hotel looked brandnew, modern, bright and cheery. - was told its 2 yrs old. loved the wonderful colors everywhere. lobby with the different lamps and sitting areas with colourful cushions. rooms were really top - clean and comfortable. nice colored pictures on the wall and wonderful material of the bed linen - not the usual white cotton ones. good breakfast selection - just sitting area for that a bit crowded at times.

enjoyed my stay only problem was I left a cord for my electric razor in room 317 - otherwise my stay was perfect the food for breakfast was tasty and the lobby was great for entertaining and meeting friends

Was very good hotel. This was first time staying in Best Western in years. Please was very clean and staff good. Made reservation early but ended up on 3rd floor. Would return to Muskogee and stay at BW

This facility was excellent in every way. From the reservation process to the welcoming to the comfort to the check out, I couldn't have ask for a better experience. On future trips through Muskogee, I would go out of my way to stay there.

My wife and I attended a regional meeting of a two-state garden club at this hotel. Our group is small, but larger than most hotels of this size can accommodate. This hotel had a beautiful ballrom plenty big enough for our group functions. The place is gorgeous, super clean, and staffed by very friendly and helpful employees.

We enjoyed the stay. From the front desk lady @ check in to check out the next morning, all good. We were directed to restaurants close by and the breakfast provided was great. Room was clean and internet worked great.

Outstanding experience in all areas. We had 85 members in our football group and we couldn't have been more pleased. The staff was outstanding and the quality of service was outstanding. Breakfast was satisfying, rooms were clean and comfortable.

The decorum was exquisite!! I was blown away from the moment I walked in to the minute I left! I would highly recommend this hotel to all my family , friends and co-workers. My family loved the big ottomans and pillows in the room! Very clean and modern facility.

It was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. We had a great room for our business meetings. The staff provided for all our needs. The facility was very clean and well kept. The complimentary breakfast was very good with good variety.

While each Best Western may be an independent franchise, I don't believe the employee I encountered at check in is what the company wants representing them. I initially made a reservation in my name on our joint credit card but when we needed an additional room for this family visit my husband made a 2nd reservation in his name, also on our joint credit card. I called the hotel several days in advance to make sure they understood what was going on and was told it was no problem. Upon arrival however the employee at check in was confused about the reservations being made in 2 names and also figured out the total cost for one of the rooms wrong. When checking out my husband had a question and the front desk employee said they couldn't answer it but the employee who could would be there in 20 minutes. Twenty minutes later they had not arrived yet and we were already late departing so we left. Other than the problems with staff, everything at this hotel was what one expects a Best Western to be.

I was looking for a different hotel to stay at in Muskogee. We try to use the LaQuinta but the Best Western Plus was way cheaper. I love the new modern decor and the cleanliness of the hotel. The room was very nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good.

This newly built hotel is one of the best I have stayed in the Best Western Chain. The staff was helpful, rooms clean, a great place to wind down after a ten hour drive. The hotel was off the highway far enough so the drum of continuous traffic was not an issue. I was pleasantly surprised by the low cost paid for lodging, compared to other BW Pluses I stayed in on this trip.

Have stayed here several time. Although this hotel is relatively new, it is already starting to show its age inside, I think due to poor construction to begin with. Stay is comfortable and good price.

This is a fairly new hotel and liked it very much...just a few corrections and I am sure management will handle and we will be back. clean well kept happy to stay here again unless it would go downhill. That will not happen I am sure. Looking forward to seeing all their smiling faces in the next couple of weekends.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the modern and tastefully done colorful decor! The lobby was impressive and the room was quite large and very comfortable! I wish we would have been able to stay several nights here instead of just one as we passed through on our way home! If I ever find myself in Muskogee again, I will be sure to stay here! The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very nice and helpful!

This hotel was comfortable and clean with a friendly staff. I only had 1 complaint with the housekeeping crew. Our pillows had hair on them when we checked in and it took a while for them to be replaced.

We were traveling and needed a place to stop for the night. I called about 2 hrs before we got there. When we checked in, Tina greeted us like family. She even remembered me from my phone call!! Tina suggested we join BW rewards to build points and told us everything we needed to know. Her spirit, her attitude and her interaction with us really made our stay and left us feeling like we WANT to return. The decor in the lobby area is modern design with bright colors and strong patterns. Our room was clean and spacious, with AC already on and set where we like it! Breakfast gave us lots of choices and was very filling. This was exactly what we needed when we needed it.

The sloping floor of the shower was so slick, I had to hold on to the grab bar to prevent slipping. No non-slip strips on the floor. The food in the breakfast bar was tasteless. The waffles were ok but still not much taste as you would have had at a Hampton Inn. The hotel seemed to be quite new and look really nice from the outside. the rooms were clean with fairly new furniture.

I'm a pipeline petro pilot. I got stuck in Muskogee due to bad weather. It was really a pretty good place to be stuck. It was just a short drive from the airport to the hotel. The staff at the hotel check-in was amazing. The room was clean. I wouldn't mind going back.

Room 305 is a large room for family. Nice room lay out. Modern design, clean but fixtures need updating, staff are welcoming and sensitive to our needs. Kitchen staff could use re-education on proper food handling. We will certainly stay in this BW again.

Check in was very speedy. Someone is ALWAYS at or around the desk for assistance. Breakfast is always full and hot. Great amenities including fitness and pool area. Lobby smells amazing and always clean.

Lovely hotel, beautifully decorated lobby and rooms. Good location to downtown and eating places. Breakfast included with your stay. Didn't eat, but juice machine was out of juice. The evening front desk clerk was very friendly and quick to respond to request. The only issue was that Expedia had booked us in a handicap room. The shower flooded the bathroom and entry into the bedroom. It is flaw in the design of the room. Water went everywhere except the drain in both the shower and the floor in the bathroom. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Friendly staff, great décor, clean rooms, good breakfast selection, everything was new, and we enjoyed the mattress (we like a firm bed so it was perfect for us). Quiet area. Would stay here again if passing through. Great price!!! Thanks for a great stay BWP!!!!!

We were in Muskogee, Oklahoma for some business and the Best Western had decent reviews for a fair price. The pictures were also appealing. Overall, considering the location, which was close to being a ghost town compared to where we were from, this hotel was up-to-date with fresh and stylish decor. The amenities were adequate, the free breakfast being the best bonus. The pool was small, but at least they had one, along with a small fitness center. The downsides to the hotel were for some reason the wi-fi kept defaulting to Hilton Honors, even though they are not affiliated with Best Western and the lighting in the room was extremely poor. Even with all the lights on, I could barely see in the dim-lit area. Overall, the service was ok- no one went out of their way, but they did their jobs and left you alone. The highlight was how new and clean everything was.

This hotel was recently created. Though some hotels in town were closed or deteriorated there does not seem to be a lack of business at Best Western. The staff was patient and accommodating. to make my stay excellent. There recommendations for dining were great. I had a good time and was able to depart early with no delays or complications. This hotel is fairly new and conveniently located to most of Muskogee. Rooms spacious and very clean. The only negative was that the air conditioner was a bit noisy and my daughter who had the bed closest moved to the sofa during the night.

Nice new hotel but don't plan on feeling rested when you leave. Everyone in our party had a horrible sleep experience and back pain the following morning. Luckily we were only reserved one night because otherwise we would have checked out early.

It seems that though the hotel is new, the attitudes of staff is that of older employees who are not pleased with employment (working for a check). The check in staff was of no help when asking questions about the breakfast and any activities in the area, with the reply being "I don't know". She couldn't even tell me what was served for breakfast or if the breakfast was good. Her excuse, I come in after breakfast is served and I leave at 11, so I am not here when they serve breakfast". I waited at least 2 minutes for her to come to the counter. She was on a different floor when I arrived. No apologies about my wait, just "what's your name?" The rooms were clean, but nothing to brag about, except the bed slept very well.

The stay was excellent. The room was great, the breakfast very good, and the overall experience was one that we will do again. The hotel has not been open very long and that contributes to the experience. I think it opened early last year.

New motel with good service but this location seemed poorly, (or cheaply) built with poor workmanship. For me it was clean and new but doors unsquare tile not fitting, sheetrock and paint very cheaply done. Not many electrical outlets where mostly needed. Not enough lighting in room.

This is a fairly new location that is a European decor. Rooms have poor lighting but comfortable bed. Showers have Dial brand soap dispensers and cheap shampoo in dispenser. Internet was on and off. If you enjoy a bagel for breakfast be sure to bring your own knife to cut the bagel as there is not a bagel slicer.

On our way to and from Mexico, we stay in 4 different hotels this time and the Best Western hotel was by far the best of all. Hopefully, it stays the same for a long time so we can stay there again on our annual trip to Mexico.

Surprised by the décor. Enjoyed sleeping in the bed, but would have preferred a flatter pillow since I sleep on my stomach. I felt uncomfortable having to punch most of the pillow stuffing to one end of the pillow so my neck didn't go at an unnatural angle and make my neck muscles cramp....I'm 78! That's important to me.

We were delighted with finding the Best Western in Muskogee during a recent trip. Although we hadn't originally intended to stop overnight, we changed our minds and made a last-minute decision to get a room. The young lady on the phone was most accommodating and gave great directions to find the place, and once we checked in she had a good suggestion for dinner. Overall, the hotel looked brand new and the service was excellent. It's now on our list of potential pull-in spots when we travel.

This Best Western is a nice place to stay. It is off the main highway and is quiet. The room was clean as well as the restroom. The room has a flat screen television and the air conditioner works well. It is fairly close to restaurants and is easy to get to.

I was extremely satisfied with the location, and the quality of the hotel. The breakfast on the second day had me sold, we were given a full breakfast. The staff were readily available. I would recommend a stay if you happen to be in the area.

This is a relatively new hotel, located on the main north/south highway, but off the highway enough to be very quiet. Coffee and daily paper always available. Quite a good value. Breakfast better than average.

Really nice, modern decor, clean hotel. The front desk clerk was very friendly!! We will definitely stay here again!! Bathroom is nice, clean and has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash on the wall of the shower.

Second time at this property. Overall still a good option. Breakfast items took a long time to be replenished even after alerting the front desk. Items were missing from my room upon check in such as the ice maker and pillows for the bed. Even inspite of these minor issues I would stay at this property again when in the area.

There was a glitch in my reservation and when I addressed it with management, Neal provided excellent customer service. The staff is friendly and the rooms are very clean. We did this for bday part and with use them again.

What makes this place the best in Muskogee is they have an excellent manager (Nancy).She goes above an beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. The rooms are very nice. The service was great and you get free breakfast with your stay.

Nice place to stay the night great breakfast very new Motel people very friendly lovely places to park. Muskogee is a really nice town right off of Highway 69 makes it easy to access everything. I found the room very clean the new modern atmosphere in the building is very nice new flat screen TVs

We had a family reunion so honestly only slept at the hotel. The desk staff were pleasant and helpful, the beds were comfortable. There happened to be a high school football (or soccer?) team there at the same time so we weren't able to partake in the continental breakfast as it was pretty much gone when we arrived.

This hotel was beautiful, the decor was pretty. I absolutely loved the light fixtures in the lobby. The staff was super nice, the clerk even called the room shortly after we arrived to make sure everything was satisfactory. The breakfast was wonderful. Beds were great and room very comfortable. It was nice to have a sofa and chair to sit in and watch tv and not have to lay on the bed all evening.

I was very disappointed with this property. The room was dirty, especially for a place that had only been open a year. Faucets, drain, lamps, etc. were very dirty and looked like they had been cleaned since installed. We were told there was a lounge/food onsite and that was not true. Had to go elsewhere. Very noisy - had to listen to neighbors snore all night long. Breakfast area was disappointing. I will not return to this property, or probably not any Best Western after this experience.

Found ants in room and also sperm stains on bedspread so we requested to move to another room. The other room was much better but discovered no hairdryer so had to let them know we don't get charged since I brought my own hairdryer. The hotel is only year old and has modern décor and it is clean except for the incidence in our room. The breakfast was limited due to low occupancy and did not put out as much as other Best Western usually have.

Very clean motel as it is fairly new. The beds very comfortable and very clean. One thing I did really enjoy was in the shower instead of having the shampoo and soap in the little travel size containers they had them in dispensers hanging on the wall in the shower itself. My wife really appreciated this as she has long hair and requires lots of shampoo.

We made our reservations 35 days in advance, requesting an accessible room. However the clerk never notified us they would not be able to accommodate our request, showing that their greed is more important than accommodating people with disabilities and or the comfort of their guests. The pool was not accessible for people with disabilities. It is questionable if they have the required number of accessible rooms and hearing impaired rooms. Formal complaint to the US Attorney will follow. Wrote letter to owners, received call said they would call us back that day...called back 10 days later and basically blamed the lack of honoring our reservation on another guest. of course they zapped us for almost $ 204 for two nights stay.

We could have kept driving the 3 hrs home, but to be safe, we stopped here. We were surprised that it stated it was brand new. When I asked when they opened, it had been a year. =) But, it still looked, smelled new. Had a wonderful night guy check us in, very friendly and informative. Hotel has a very retro feel when you come in, fresh and colorful. Breakfast was a hot/cold breakfast, lots of choices. The beds.... well, we rested deeply and comfortably.

We spent one night here on a road trip. This location is about a year old. We found the hotel attractive - both common areas & our room. Every space we were in was clean & nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast area was larger than many hotels, especially at this price point. There was a long raised table with outlets all along the center, both sides, very nice touch for those needing work while eating. Breakfast is a full, hot buffet. There are several TVs in the breakfast area, all set on different stations to pick from. The AARP pricing makes this extremely reasonable.

Had a great stay. Kids loved the pool. Beds were wonderful. Ok coffee needs improvement. But other wise really nice stay. Would stay again. The decor is really cool in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful We ran out of shampoo and they came right up to get it filled. Oh yeah. Shower essentials were on the wall and. convenient. Loved the stay

I was at the Best Western Plus, with a Film Crew shooting a movie in the Muskogee area for the last several days. The hotel is brand new, and as such...the facility is a true 4-5 star. The rooms are great, as they are totally brand new...and the staff was absolutely the best! We had an early shoot schedule...and the GM was so client friendly, that she opened breakfast an hour early, so our crew could have a good breakfast before heading to our shoot on a Sunday morning. We loved the hotel. My only complaint is that we had worked out a rate for our rooms...and the bill I was "charged" was more than $100 than the rate I was promised. I will be fighting it...but, I am sorely sorry that I even have to do that. I believe that what one tells me, should be what I am charged...I am not happy...customer alert...beware of billing!!!

I have never been to Oklahoma and found this hotel on line when I came in for a funeral. When I walked in the door it appeared new, neatly appointed and very clean. The front desk clerk was extremely friendly. I checked into my room and there was a spider up in the bathroom corner and a large mosquito (which I had mistaken for a spider) on the wall in the main room. I was prepared to handle that, but not to handle what happened next. When I removed the large bedroll, there was a disgusting stain next to a short black hair. I notified the front desk. She had the manager call me. I was switched to a second room. There was a small puddle in front of the toilet and the toilet tissue roll was all messed up. The front desk clerk came and cleaned it with Lysol. Then I noticed something fuzzy all over the wall. It looked like a champagne bottle exploded and wasn't cleaned. The next day the manager said it was a pipe that burst and had a leak behind it. (Things don't mold overnight). The third room had a huge stain and a short black hair next to it. The front desk clerk was embarrassed and as appalled as I was.(She was truly a gem and an asset to the company). The 4th room had ants crawling on the floor as soon as we (the front desk clerk and I) walked in. They moved me into a suite (nothing fancy-same room with a small sitting area). The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I addressed all this the next day with the manager. She apologized and said they had an all new cleaning staff and they needed more training. They need more than training. Had it not been for the disgusting stains and hairs and liquid (all appearing to be bodily fluid) the hotel would have been clean and nice. Someone needs to monitor what the cleaning people or others entering the rooms are doing. I've NEVER seen anything like it. OH.....the manager offered me a discount if I ever come back. I felt that was an inappropriate offer. After 30 years of customer service management, I feel they should have done a bit more to get a satisfied customer. And they need to do a little more than train their cleaning staff! I took photos with my cell phone!

Pool was freezing. No hot tub. No pool towels. Coffee was the worst. Maid would not leave us alone. There to see ill family member and just one thing after another that made a bad situation even more difficult.

Early afternoon arrival found the lobby area very colorful and inviting. Was welcomed quickly and checked pricing before deciding upon BW. Upon entering though the lobby, the elevator and hallways smelt like wet puppies had been running around. Not sure what type of fragrance or cleaning supplies were used but I hated the smell. The luggage carriers were very manageable. As for cleaness of the room the score goes way down. Large blob of long dark hair was on the bathroom floor and the carpet had not been swept. Or the sweeper didn't work. The drawer at the nightstand and dresser drawer wouldn't stay shut. We ask for another room mainly because of fear of running into the drawer and falling during the night. After the move it got worse. Two doors down we enter the room and our feet are sticking to the floor. Something had been spelt and was tracked everywhere. Not wanting to sound like we above the conditions we stayed in the room and didn't complain. Unfortunately for them I used one of the hand towels to clean the entry and bathroom floor. Guess they will be throwing that one away. Sorry! It doesn't end there, I was going to complain but was met by a tray of warm cookies so I held my thoughts. After going out to dinner and entertainment I grabbed a couple cookies and took them to our room. One was placed on a paper plate on the nightstand in case my sister needed sugar during the night. Upon waking the cookie was being consumed by tiny black ants. The nightstand had soda drops and rings along with plenty of grime. Also the sink fixture was very dirty along with some body hairs left in the tub while cleaning. That was the bad side. The beds were firm, very comfortable which we did enjoy. The sitting area was also wonderful. The large refrigerator is nice but housekeeping should remember to clean after each guest as Panda Express for two was still remaining. The TV was a much smaller one than the first room but still nice. The bathroom is a little inconvenient due to a tabletop sink. The cords to appliances catch on the cabinet and cause you to lose control of them. The counter is very small and things drop off easily. The shower was nice and shiny clean except for body hair that didn't get wiped out thoroughly. Lots of hot water and pressure with a nice adjustable shower head. Overall with some adjustments made in housekeeping BW is a great choice to spend the night. Comfort, quiteness, hospitality and perks of a pool, fitness room and breakfast is perfect. Loved the quietness away from the busy highway which is used heavily by large trucks. I'm giving a higher rating in hopes that a manager will oversee and inspect the cleanliness of the rooms before making them available in the future. Mop with soap and rinse thoroughly every entry and bathroom. Also the elevators! I think we will all agree sticky dirty floors will turn guests away.

We were passing through Oklahoma and stopped for one night in Muskogee. The hotel seemed new (actually opened about a near ago) and everything was really nice: good Wifi, comfortable bed, clean room, and a good hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, etc. The location of this hotel seemed to be in a newly developed area of Muskogee as the surrounding restaurants and other hotels seemed new. You can't go wrong with this Best Western choice.

We were a Sunday evening walk-in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very new - this clean and tidy. Kinks yet - room did not have tv channel guide nor a binder with the usual basic info. At 6:30am breakfast some hot items needed replenishing but no staff present. We were patient. In a few weeks I'm sure it will be ironed out. Will stay again.

One of the best BW on our trip. Very new and well laid out. Spacious rooms, comfy bed and lobby that welcomes you to sit and visit. Good parking. Definitely will stay here again! Fresh fruit was offered for breakfast. LOVE that!

This was a great 2 day stay getaway. Staff was really friendly, rooms were clean. Great night sleep! Breakfast was good. Everything was so modern. We did jump in the indoor pool and it was a little too cold but it was all good. Definitely would stay here again despite all the choice hotels nearby and we counted at least 9.

The gentleman who was in charge of breakfast showed us all the options available and told us to ask for anything we needed. Then when packing our car, he came out and helped us load our luggage. We were greeted warmly when we entered. We also enjoyed the bright decor of the room.

All new facility. Wonderful staff. The room is very nice. They had customer appr nite and offered all staying guests free pizza ordered from a near by pizza vendor. Very clean inside and out. Many places to eat near by.

This is a great place to stay for couples or family. Facility is new. Amenties that are offered are nice. While we were there, they had pizza and beer to all persons staying for customer appreition day. Room was very nice, including the bathroom.

We were on a get-a-way and loved the king suite. It is very clean and an exceptional value! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for value and comfort. This hotel is new and the decor is very up to date and bright.

Hotel appeared to be pretty new. Clean and comfortable. Solid construction. Breakfast was dissappointing. Very sparse food selection. No room in nightstand lamp outlets to plug in phone charger, had to plug into wall. Not the easiest hotel to locate because it's set back from the highway, but less road noise.

Stayed here 3 nights on a business trip. The hotel is attractive from the outside, and once inside the room it is large and decorated with modern furniture and artwork. Has a walk-in shower which is easy to access. Hotel sits far enough off the road to be quieter than the other hotels in the same area. The staff is very friendly and good with directions. Included breakfast is fair to good, coffee is weak by my standards but not bad tasting. Workout room is good with new equipment.

Hotel was a decent value for the price, but lobby was a mess when we arrived, there was a loud party and tons of kids running around at 11:00 pm. Room was nice and clean, and staff was friendly. Breakfast ok, no juice, dispenser broken, and fresh fruit did not look so great.

I stayed here on the night of 7/21 and it was great! The rooms were well decorated with nice, firm beds. The pool was not very big but private, the front lobby was very nice. We had breakfast at the hotel and it did not have as many items to choose as the person led us to believe when we check in but that was okay. Jay helped us this morning and he was as great as the other reviews would lead you to believe! Took care of us the whole morning and was friendly the whole time while doing it. If given the opportunity, we will definitely stay here again!!

This hotel was opened recently, and has modern decor (which I really like). Check-in was easy and quick, and we arrived as a pit-stop on a long road trip at 11pm, so easy fast check-in is exactly what we wanted. Because everything is so new, it is incredibly clean and this rug is so new that you will still feel comfortable walking on it with bare feet. The room King + sofa bed comes with a real sofa bed, not a fake-out futon. Unfortunately, they didn't leave bedding for the sofa bed. Bathroom was nice and large, had a hair dryer and two drawers for little items. Keys worked well (swipe keys) Cannot comment on the pool--didn't use it. The TV had several channels and was large enough for more than 2 people to watch. Room had plenty of electrical outlets for phone chargers (new hotels do this better). Room had a larger mini-fridge with microwave. VERY large closet for storage if needed. It will soon get competition, because a new hotel is going in next door and is not yet completed. I stayed at a Best Western once about 20 years ago and I couldn't stay the night due to the odors and noise (in Columbia, MO) and swore I would never stay at one again. However, we were just looking for a place to crash on our road trip and used this stop as a last minute pit-stop, and it was lovely. One down-side is that it seems some low-rent-type people will NEVER learn manners--when it states to keep the breakfast in the food area, you are not supposed to show up in your pajamas and pile huge amounts on the paper plates and haul it back up the elevators to consume in your bedroom--that is how hotels get trashy. I wish someone at the hotel would correct this type of low-class behavior. Luckily, only a few people were that rude. The free breakfast had the standard continental faire with everything labelled so you could tell what you were getting--four types of coffee with a few different types of creamers, as well as milk, and hot real eggs, sausage, and some of the best B's&G's I've had in awhile (Biscuits & Gravy for those of you not from the midwest). Wait staff was very polite. They do have a little "store" inside the hotel to purchase a beer by the can, juice, or pop, or some snacks like chips or jerky, but they do not have milk products in their little store area. Overall I would be glad to stay here again if we are passing through and need a place to sleep, but unfortunately I hope the food-hoarders don't ruin the carpeting so it stays clean and pretty. No strange odors, and the air conditioner was controlled on the wall and was quiet and effective. Highly recommended for now, until it gets trashed by rude people.

The hotel was nice and clean. Has an inside pool. We stayed here for two weeks and enjoyed our time very much. Jay the gentleman who works the breakfast bar was a delight! Seriously the nicest server I've ever met. Got us anything we needed and was very on top of his job. He's truly a great man. The manager Nanci was also a great attribute to the workplace.

My kids, other workers & myself, work fireworks in the Muskogee area for 2 wks each summer. We have stayed here the last 2 yrs, this year was just as great as last. There was a wonderful employee named Jay who greeted us each morning at breakfast and was such a wonderful person.

Other than the person who checked us in this stay was very enjoyable. Comfortable clean rooms and Jay who staffed the breakfast area was a pleasure to meet. He went above and beyond and made us feel like welcomed guests!

Our softball team stayed here and it was very clean and updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was the guest laundry service was too busy. With 3-4 ball teams there at the same time it was hard to use the laundry service. Everything else was great.

This is a new hotel and everything was clean and ready when my group arrive. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet even being close to the elevator. Breakfast the next morning included waffles, muffins, eggs, sausage, etc. There was a man working that morning named Jay. He was more attentive to my group than many servers I've had a restaurants! He cleared our plates, opened kids for us, even brought us juice without being asked! I've never experienced anyone more helpful at a hotel. Give that man a raise, he is worth it!

To say I was shocked with this hotel is an understatement!! The WHOLE hotel was bright, clean and honestly way better then any mid range hotel I have stayed at in a long time. My two young kids and I traveled to Oklahoma for a short visit and we saw this hotel online and it looked fine. We get there and the pictures had not done it justice. Also I have to also say I never have written an email to a manager before telling them what a gem of an employee they have, but I did with their employee Jay. He greeted us each morning in the cafe area and always smiling. He was so kind to help fix the kids plates and always had my coffee filled. As a traveling mom with my hands full, I appreciated Jay's attention to details and also just helping without even once being asked. It is people like Jay that make this hotel stand above the others. If I could give it 6 stars I would have!!

We were happy to get a handicap bath and so near the front door. The breakfast was delicious. We were attract to the indoor swimming pool which allowed us to do our swimming and water aerobics. It was a halfway point to relatives in Garland, Texas, and we plan to stay there again and take advantage of your $50 gift certificate for staying 2 separate sites (a week apart.)

This is a brand new hotel in Muskogee, so it was nice to have a clean room for the stay. The staff was friendly but the management was rude on occasion. Things seemed to run very slowly at this particular hotel. The bed was comfortable and everything but the walls were thin. The breakfast selection was okay, basic serving of sausage and cereal. The indoor pool was heated and it was nice. Overall because of the price and cleanliness I would probably stay again, but the hotel wasn't anything special.

We had an awesome stay! Very clean and comfortable rooms and pool area, great breakfast and the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Jay and Phyllis! The first night they had a visitor appreciation night and we received free drinks. We will be staying here any time we visit my okie family.

Great place, new, looks good inside and out, rooms are nice, staff was great, nice breakfast selection, quickly fixed only problem I had (door lock not working properly on check in) I will use them again when in town

Over all it was great , I really was'nt impressed with the breakfast . The price and the customer service was excellent , the pool was great . for the excellent price I paid it didnt matter about the breakfast. I woud stay there again .

The hotel is obviously brand new, so even though we have gone through Muskogee many times, we decided to try it out. It is very nice and modern looking, with comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The problem is that I don't think they are quite ready to be open. The first room we were given had dirty towels in the bathroom. So I went down to get moved to a new room, and it was as if I was disturbing the front desk lady from watching TV and looking at her phone. Then when we left, a different front desk lady was not able to print my receipt from either computer. She did email it to me, but she did not know how to "unfreeze" the computer for printing. The breakfast was also a little thin on options, and they ran out of creamer during service. So all in all, a nice place in terms of facilities, but service leaves a bit to be desired.

This hotel was newer. I was not impressed however. We arrived and all 3 office staff were outside smoking. We had to wait awhile for them to come in. They apologized and said they thought we were already checked in. The room size is nice. The floor was very dirty and needed vacuuming. The cut toe nail really grossed me out. (there were other things like hair, dirt, etc.) The hallway was also in need of vacuuming. Breakfast was good. Furnishings, walls, etc, were a little beat up for being new.

Clean. Modern Rooms. Great amenities. Fancy looking pool. The have a great hot breakfast with a varying caring cook staff. While I was away getting another biscuit the guy that was cooking the breakfast food actually refilled my orange juice without me even asking. That was memorable. Thanks for the pleasant stay.

We held our family reunion at the Best Western in Muskogee, OK. It was the perfect location for our needs. Family traveled from all over the country, all staying at this hotel. We held the reunion in the conference room. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, especially Jay. He went out of his way to help set up the conference room and tend to our needs. We had a wonderful experience.

I have stayed at this location on multiple occasions and have enjoyed each one. The staff is nice, professional and very helpful (going out of their way to help me find my way around the area). I will continue to use this location whenever I travel to this area in the future!

When we checked into this new hotel, we were greeted by a pleasant desk clerk who was obviously just learning the computer system. We were in this hotel for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. We were placed on the 3rd (top) floor the farthest room from the elevator, so everything was very quiet for us. The open WiFi was easy to access and speed was good. The bed was very comfortable, but the shredded foam rubber pillows were lumpy.and uncomfortable. Housekeeping was a bit sketchy .. used washcloths were removed but not replaced one of the days, and the in-room coffee was not replaced. We were able to keep the room at a comfortable temperature on the hot days we were there. There was a small fridge and a microwave in the room. There was one easy chair and one desk chair in the room, and a large ottoman with a soft low surface that made it uncomfortable to use for sitting. The lobby is decorated in retro style that is very eye-catching, but doesn't flow together with the rest of the space. Breakfast was adequate -- basic waffles, dry cereals, scramble eggs and bacon / sausage. But no fruit options. The area was clean and well-cared for, and we were helped by a well-meaning but in my opinion overly attentive attendant. Our rapid checkout receipt was paced under our door on the morning of our departure. That made our get-away speedy.

Since this was a new build , they did not have everything finished on the out side. They had no benches or chairs to sit on the out side. The front desk was a little slow however we did come in was a group of ten The breakfast was very good but ran out of some items by 9:30am

Bad: Customer service was terrible. I reserved through Expedia, so I dropped by in a.m. on way to event to ensure the room would be available. I was assured it would be ready and available. I came back at approximately 4:15 p.m., exhausted, and the room wasn't ready. I was told it just needed to be mopped. I checked after 30 minutes and was told it was ready, but that they had forgotten about us. Twice I called down to the front desk and I was answered discourteously. The pillows are uncomfortable and the air conditioner is loud, but it drowned out the noise in the hall, so that was good. Good: The General Manager heard about the situation involving my check-in before I complained, so she apologized and gave me a partial discount. The hotel is clean and the rooms are nice. The breakfast is good. They have hot and cold items, good selection Conclusion: If the customer service improves and the noise level isn't bad, I would use this hotel again, but, I would bring my own pillows.

As a new hotel the building was having some problems (some rooms were leaking). We were immediately given an upgrade when we checked in due to the 'inconvenience' even though we had just arrived. Our room was lovely, very comfortable, and absolutely no problems. All of the staff was polite and eager to assist us with any questions. We had a lovely stay.

How do I put this. The hotel looks nice, and the front desk staff are really good, but... housekeeping needs a boot up the behind. The closet doors were not working and off the tracks, the curtains are stained, there was no soap in the shower and my daughter (who showed up at midnight) open up the couch to no bedding. There was no bedding anywhere in the room or extra pillows. She went down to get some only to be told there were no pillows or bankets. She slept on a sheet. After saying that the man at breakfast is great and fun.

The hotel was very clean and presentable. The staff, what staff there was were very nice and helpful. The pool was very small especially for a hotel of this size. They seemed short staffed as the front clerk was not only checking people in and answering the phone but doing laundry, running things to rooms and doing maintenance on the pool at the same time. All I all decent for the price.

Overall I only had one problem with this stay, though unfortunately it interfered with both my girlfriend or I getting the sleep we wanted. I'll start with the good things first. The hotel itself is brand new with a very up-to-date look to it. The rooms are very spacious and clean, which definitely made the stay more pleasant. The WiFi is free and very reliable for a hotel, and there are plenty of plugs which made the periods that we were in the hotel much more enjoyable than other stays. The continental breakfast was pretty standard, not much to say about it, and the staff was courteous. My biggest issue, which unfortunately is a deal breaker for me personally was the soundproofing. Anything that happened around our room could be heard, which may not have been as big an issue if it weren't for a few of our neighbors. One let their children run screaming through the halls, and another constantly slammed his door in the late night and early morning a floor below us. We could even hear the woman coughing in the room across from us. I'm a very light sleeper, so a lack of good sound proofing in the rooms meant that I wasn't able to fall asleep until most of the hotel did too, and I woke up around the same time as the earliest risers. Honestly, my college dorm felt quieter. If you sleep pretty easily, it's a nice stay and I highly recommend it. If you have any problems sleeping like myself, I do recommend trying somewhere else.

My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Muskogee. The hotel was an incredible place. The staff greeted us in a friendly and encouraging manner. It is a fairly new motel and all of the decor is inviting, well designed and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!!

My husband and I stayed in Muskogee 2 nights on business. The hotel staff saves this place. They are amazing! Everyone...and I mean EVERYONE was kind, considerate, and eager to help. Our initial room had a significant amount of hair on the fitted sheet (as if it hadn't been changed) and once I notified the young lady at the desk we were swiftly moved. Our second room had very very dingy face towels (appeared to be makeup stained or washed with too large of a load) but you could tell that they had been laundered. There was dust build up in the bathroom, on the windowsill, and at the baseboards. I am guessing that much if this has to do with the construction across the parking lot and the hotel being newer. Housekeeping was mediocre...sheets were not changed, linens were stained (clean but stained), there were not enough towels left the second day, no iron, no bath mat, and it did not appear that the shower was wiped down. Breakfast had a decent amount of options and everything going was fresh. The dining area was very clean and the gentleman working was very kind. The neighborhood appears safe and the hotel is minutes from restaurants and shopping. Overall, we would not stay again.

What a surprise when we checked into the lobby. Found decor untypical for the area. I would not have been surprised if I were in NYC. Room prices were discounted to introduce this newly opened/built motel. Very chic design and furnishings. Excellent staff! Will stay anytime we're passing through, even at full price. Great value

We enjoyed our stay in Muskogee BW. Our rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. They have a bright cheerful lobby. The breakfast bar offered a good variety of food. And hey they had good coffee.

Have stayed here many times. Always very clean and very friendly service! They go out of their way to help with anything we need. The swimming pool is wonderful! We have the best time. And the breakfast is wonderful too! Such a great variety to choose from. They helped us find a great place to eat as well.

All the hotel staff members were very welcoming and friendly, especially the front desk ladies. Rooms were very clean and in great condition as this hotel was less than 6 months old when we stayed. Spacious, very well lighted parking lot with many pull through spaces which was very nice for those of us with trailers. Good breakfasts but ran out a bit early as the hotel was booked full during our stay.

The only place to stay. It is the BEST chain of motels and have got better, We stay at Best Westerns every where we go. Thanks BEST WESTERN I tell all my friends to stay at the Best Western . Great rooms and good parking places. Clean and easy check in and out.

The hotel is new and you can even tell it when you open the door to your room. It has that new smell. The only thing I did not like was that you really could not walk to any restaurants and we enjoy doing that after a day on the bike. The room was clean and the staff was extremely helpful.

A new hotel that sits on a street of mud behind other new hotels. The staff must be untrained and unsupervised as our bathroom had pee stains on the floor and toilet. The girl on the desk was apologetic as she moved us and said it wasn't the first time. Our towels seemed to be cleaned but were wrinkled and poorly presented. The decor of the hotel is hideous and would be at home in a space pod on Mars but I guess that is a matter of taste.Every room door slams and echos down the hall starting at 6:20 AM. The breakfast is not to the standard of a Plus as explained to me.The workmanship on the fit and finish of trims, flooring and seams is unprofessional and seem slapped together. Best Western should get out there and straighten this place out.

We stayed here while traveling for spring break and while everything was brand new (it had been open less than a year during the time of our stay), we experienced some disappointments. The lady who checked us in was watching TV when we arrived and promptly went back to her show once she had checked us in. The floor of the elevator was dirty, as was our bathtub which had hair a long hair sticking the wall. The sink immediately filled with water which never drained and we had to brush our teeth at the tub instead! For us, the beds were uncomfortable and the pillows awkwardly fluffy, but I guess that might be a matter of taste. Our kids did enjoy the pool and the breakfast was fine. The saving grace of this hotel was Jay, a hardworking young man we met the morning we checked out. He went out of his way to be helpful at breakfast, doing his rounds at the pool, and again before we checked out. We really appreciated his work ethic! Hopefully there are many more "Jays" at this location and we just got the wrong room on the wrong night.

Employees like Phyllis make you feel like these people really do care about you as a person first ... She walks her talk.. The manager was very helpful in making sure rooms were ready for all the visitors for the next night, which they were full and it was a Wednesday night..

Before staying at the Best Western, my previous 3 stays at a hotel was in Hilton Hotels. I had bad experiences in each stay. Staying in this Best Western was my best experience in a hotel in a long time. I definitely would advise staying here.

This new property is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Very good coffee available 24 hours. We did not have breakfast there because we were meeting friends for breakfast. Very clean. We highly recommend this hotel.

The front office is amazing and just so kind...the hotel is new and shiny and modern. LOVE THE FURNITURE!! This was a very pleasant and awesome stay and I stay in hotels weekly. Recommend this hotel totally

Excellent hotel not only is it brand new it is also very well designed. The site of the hotel was optimal for both dining and visiting the museums. We look forward to visiting again. We really enjoyed breakfast.

Thermostats will not go below 68 degrees, no lamp on desk, no soap in shower dispenser, new but no upgrades such as USB ports next to bed, as in other hotels. I stay in allot of BW , this not up to par to this chain under the plus version. Outside of rooms , everything nice.

I only write this as it is a new property and hopefully management will make corrective/preventative measures with people hanging out and with the cleaning staff as it is a very nice facility with great potential. I've traveled extensively internationally so I probably look at a lot others don't when it comes to being aware of your surroundings and security. Stayed for 5 nights and when I arrived the receptionist was awesome, room was nice, and facility was new. During the day (mainly) and afternoon/evening there seemed to be a lot of "others" (friends/family) hanging out with the staff the entire 5 days. People coming and going a lot as well. 250+ nights a year on the road (some in some very bad areas) and this is the ONLY time (in the US) I have taken items with me during the day and checked what was left in the room. My wife accompanies me sometimes and I would have told her not to come. The cleaning staff was hit/miss....Ice container sat for 4 days after use, bed not made well sometimes, bathroom not cleaned consistently, towels not restocked. Cleaning could be overlooked as the room was clean when I arrived but I can only hope the management gets a grip on the security concern because it is a nice property. People staying 1 night may not notice. The potential is there and hopefully this is only due to it being new.

New facility with cheerful and bright colors. Friendly hotel staff. Room was nicely sized and comfortable. Great shower water pressure, shower amenities, and hair dryer.Breakfast selection was the norm but good. The waffle is the best choice. Would stay again if my travels should be that direction.

I enjoyed my stay at this motel. The people were nice and the service was good. I recommend it to anyone who is traveling to Muskogee, Oklahoma. I don't travel often but in the future I will consider Best Western Plus motels.

Very comfortable and in good condition. They have a nice swimming pool that we unfortunately didn't try out. The staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast area was pleasant. Recommended for anyone staying in Muskogee.

The hotel and rooms were very colorful and comfortable. I had a restful night sleep, quite halls.The Breakfast was good and the staff was great, Not much more to say but that this is a great place to stay

I travel with Best Western almost exclusively for business (if there is a Best Western where I am traveling I stay there, that is how loyal I am to this brand). This stay was overall a disappointment. This time, it was for leisure over the MLK holiday weekend. We found stains on the brand new bedding and a press on fingernail in our room upon arrival. We did not have enough toilet paper in the room the first night (only half a roll). We received noise complaints about our children twice during our stay. Once our children were being legitimately loud. The other time they were sleeping. We went down to talk to the front desk after the call while they were sleeping and the woman insisted we sounded like, "a herd of elephants". When I explained that the children were sleeping, she said, "Well there must be a Casper up there then, because you are the only people on that floor." When I let the manager know about this encounter in the morning, the manager apologized and also let us know there was a family staying in the room across the hall form us. Why was the woman the night before so rude to us!? Also, if you plan to stay in this hotel and use the pool, PLEASE be careful. The rock around the pool is very slippery, and you can fall easily just walking on it. Also, the heated water coming out of the jets felt great, but by the second night, it smelled slightly of sewage. The third morning it smelled so bad we had to leave the pool. I'm not sure if the chemicals were off or what. Finally, I would like to say that the male employee who worked during Sunday breakfast was a gem. I did not catch his name, but he was so friendly, turned cartoons on for our kids and was just a wonderful guy. He came into the pool to make sure we had towels and everything. He was the best part of this stay. The manager Nancy also listened to our concerns on Monday morning and was kind to us. It was the night workers who ruined our stay.

When we arrived late that evening we were greeted by a friendly employee. The hotel was really clean, helpful staff, kids enjoyed the pool,exercise room was small and the breakfast was very good. Excellent service when the breakfast items needed to be refilled. Even though another guest was grumpy about waiting for the eggs, she was treated with respect.

Stay here. It is one of the best for the price, location and amenities. The rooms were nice. I suggest you get up early to enjoy your breakfast. The staff was VERY nice and informative. My family enjoyed and we have found a new place to stay when we come to visit family.

A friend and I stayed here on Monday December 14, 2015. The motel seems to be a new one with modern furnishings and energy saving lighting. The road to BW is a little rough but I'm sure that's the city's/county's fault. Check in was quick and easy. When we walked into the lobby, we were greeted warmly by the two ladies working the desk. Check in was quick and easy. Our room, number 114, was very comfortable and clean. My one complaint is that there wasn't a ceiling fan or more lighting. The only lighting was by the door, the beds and the desk. Like the lobby, the room had modern furnishings and energy saving lighting. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. We had several TV channels to choose from. Breakfast the next morning, was the standard motel/hotel fare: powdered scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, waffles, muffins. The OJ was tasted like it was watered down. The apple juice was good though. The hotel is conveniently located near several restaurants, museums and the VA hospital.

We were in town to attend a funeral. We chose Best Western Plus because of a positive experience expressed with this property brand by a relative who was visiting in our home city. Our experience in Muskogee was "just right". Our needs were met sufficiently by the staff and the room was perfect, with the exception of insufficient lighting. We did not complain because we could handle this inconvenience for just an overnight stay. Over all, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who inquires. In addition to a kind and caring staff, the breakfast attendant provided excellent service.

This hotel has only been open 7 or 8 months. Being new, the staff went out of their way to make sure my stay was pleasant. Also, since it has not been booking solid since opening, their price is below the average for the area. Also, since it is new, everything about the place is clean and modern.

Was really impressed with the quality of the hotel, bedding, breakfast, fitness center and indoor pool. Customer service was really good, rooms nice and clean with a fridge and microwave. Breakfast offerings were better than usual and gym was also well equipped. If in the area again will definitely book this property.

Wonderful staff. Simple and to the point room. The road to the hotel is still under repair because they are building another structure next door. Breakfast is good. Any breakfast that has waffles is good enough for me.

We chose this hotel because it was new. When we first entered, the lobby was very nice and smelled good. Our room was impressive when we first entered. Nice decor and tall ceilings. However on closer inspection, the top cover on our bed was COVERED in stains! Gross! My pillows had hair all over them, I got the feeling the pillowcases were not changed after last use. Then to top it off at 11:30 pm the room above us was stomping all around, jumping, moving stuff... I was too tired to find a phone and call the front desk. At 12:30 I finally fell asleep. Woke early to doors in the hall slamming. Noisiest hotel ever!!

Fairly new hotel, very convenient location. Clean and comfortable. Very helpful hotel personnel. Breakfast was fantastic, hot and fresh. Plenty of FREE parking, the WIFI was also fast and FREE. The bar was not open yet, but should be open in the near future. All in all, very nice experience.

Excellent hotel; brand new. Everyone in our group enjoyed staying here. The beds were extremely comfortable; everything was spotless. I was bring a school group for a quiz bowl competition. We will definitely stay again.

The hotel is new, and the décor of the lobby and rooms was very appealing. All hotel public areas were clean and spacious. The breakfast area had plenty of seating, and the items provided were about what you might expect.

Loved staying here! Chick-fil-A stayed for a couple of weeks and we grew very close to the staff. Loved the staff and the facilities. ?? special shout out to Adrienne ???? the pool was fantastic, laundry was easy. Location was great. The style was very unique and lovely.

I travel to Dallas a few times a year for business and normally need a room somewhere along Hwy 69. This is the best hotel I have stayed at in Muskogee - it is brand new!! It is not a far drive from a major road with many chain restaurants. The bed was very nice and the lobby is modern and inviting

I give very, very few properties I stay at five stars, however this property is very deserving. As a brand new property, the grounds, amenities, and the general presentation was top-notch. The new Best Western floor plan and motief of the decor was very well received. The room was comfortable, soft towels (being new) along with excellent water pressure & temperature, comfortable heat/AC, a very firm & supportive bed, and a good quality Business Center. Excellent complimentary breakfast. The pool and fitness areas are both very appealing. There were a few minor wrinkles in the stay but nothing major. My room key had to be re-initialized for the second day stay. Housekeeping missed cleaning my room after my first night, however the towels were of sufficient quantity that it wasn't a problem. There were issues with the fire alarms and the front door to the property while I was on-site, both were being addressed by service personnel. The fax machine was out of service for reasons unknown, although this was being addressed by the owner. Of special note is the warmth and cordiality of the General Manager, Nanci was very good at making guests feel at ease & appreciative of their stay. One other note, the road in and out of the property is misery personified. The City of Muskogee needs to get their act together and fix & pave this road correctly. This doesn't impact the property directly, but your shocks will get a workout driving into the property. Without a doubt. This property is a must-stay if you're visiting the Muskogee area.

We checked in at 2 am welcomed in with a smile and glad you had a safe trip. Woke up went down for breakfast and again greeted with smiles and asked if they could get me anything. Within my stay I met most the staff from the cleaning crew to the sign in crew to the manager I have to say they were all pretty amazing. The hotel was very clean from the entrance, to the lounge area, pool, dining area as well as the room and we stayed in two different rooms. We were helped getting our luggage out. I witnessed Jay cover a seat on a motorcycle to keep it from getting wet in the rain. Pretty thoughtful of him! He even offered to get something out of my cat so I didn't have to get out in the rain. I wouldn't let him but again very thoughtful. I told them a plug was messed up and they immediately came to fix it. I could brag for days on this place. It's beautiful inside and out but the best part are the employees are just as beautiful and that means alot. They were all extremely helpful and all had great attitudes. If they didn't want to be there they sure didn't show it. The breakfast was amazing. I have absolutely no complaints. This was a wonderful experience all around. I will for sure stay here again and again.

The Inn was spacious and clean. The staff was courteous and friendly. Bed was comfortable with clean bath room. Very nice stay. Breakfast is served early and there is a small store on site for snacks and drinks. The pool is clear and located inside so swimming is available anytime. Fitness center next to pool.

This is a new hotel, and I was there 10 days while starting a new job and waiting on an apartment. I enjoyed my stay. They were very kind and helpful when I managed to lock myself out of my room. I used the fitness center and enjoyed that too.

This Best western is absolutely beautiful !! From the moment you walk through the front door very modern very clean, Although the road to this place is a mess right now due to construction but trust me its worth every bump. The rooms are spacious and very clean the staff is wonderful very helpful. On site guest laundry very nice sheik breakfast area workout room and indoor pool. Price was very reasonable. Would defiantly stay again.

The indoor pool, although lovely with fountains and multi color lights was FREEZING. It is the only feature at this hotel for kids, and it was so cold many Families there were upset! Room was nice, bed comfortable. Internet VERY GOOD!

It was our 15 year anniversary and my husband surprised me with a night out without the kids....it was great and relaxing. The only thing I regret is I didn't have time to go swimming...the breakfast was good. Everyone was very helpful and courteous at the hotel. Happy Anniversary..

Great hotel! Still has the "new" smell! The front desk clerk...Joshua....was very friendly and accommodating. Great location. The décor is modern and the beds are very comfortable. I highly recommend.

This property has been open less than a year. The rooms are exceptionally nice and the staff is great. Very good breakfast as well. Set back from the main highway a bit, and with construction next door, it's a little tricky to find, but well worth the effort to find this hotel when you are in the area.

This is a new Hotel, very modern and very clean. The Staff was wonderful, helpful in every way. The Breakfast was really good, hot and cold items and bigger than I had seen before. If we ever find ourselves in Muskogee again, we will definitly stay here. Wonderfully friendly atmosphere with an amazing staff! Very Large rooms, Wonderful facility with gym, indoor pool! The staff really goes out of their way to make your stay feel like you are staying with family. Just above and beyond what I expected!! Recommend anyone and everyone!
