    « Nice property. »

Were were three couples using three cabins. All were clean, cute... pretty much like a cabin in northern Minnesota. Ours was a single room with fireplace and bathroom. The employee who showed us our rooms was as thorough as at a 5 star hotel, showing us every single amenity and how they worked. It smelled smokey when we arrived and I can understand why... you do have to like the fire to keep warm at night. We were toasty but our friends who had cabins with bedrooms separate from the fireplace, were freezing. The bed might have been the hardest I've ever slept on. We liked the place even with the hard bed. Very charming setting and grounds.

« Nice Place, Lousy Service »

Nice and cozy cabins with one big king sized bed on the bottom floor and two single beds on the top floor. Nice surroundings. Service is lousy: no fire wood nor toilet paper, you need to ?remind? front desk that you ?need? these things. Parking lot is not as accessible as it seems. You have to go around it to reach your cabin. An access from the parking lot would be a practical addition. Other than that, it is genuinely a nice place and at walking distance from downtown.

    « For the Adventurous »

The room was quite small. Bathroom was very small, with a limited closet. The bed was Very hard and made sleeping uncomfortable. Staff was very friendly, even if the language barrier made checking in, asking for additional services, and checking out a bit of a problem. The grounds and the surrounding area are spectacularly beautiful

    « 35th Anniversary »

We paid for this hotel 3 moths and advance, and when we got their they did not have the 7 cabins I paid for, therefore they want to separate the group by sending two parties to another hotel. They changed my reservation in order to accommodate the entire group, they reimburse only 250 pesos when I paid 1,400 pesos per room

    « Recommended hotel »

This hotel consists of small, unconnected cabins in a lovely setting. The cabins could be a bit larger, but they work well as is. Well-appointed and well cared for. It has all the usual offerings of hotels but goes one step further. There are DVD players in the cabins and a large collection of movie DVDs in the lobby that you can choose from. No extra charge. I liked that. My wife and I watched two movies. And the cabins have fireplaces due to the generally cool weather in Mazamitla.

« Weekend Hotel stay in Mazamitla, Jalisco »

The Best Western Hotel/Cabañas, on Prolongacion Vicente Guerrero #100, in The Magical Village of Mazamitla This Hotel/Cabañas is located some five minutes drive from Mazamitla center and two hours average drive from Guadalajara. The check-in office is along the main road to Mazamitla. There you will be assigned to the reserved cabaña which is fabulously situated in this mountain ridge. We had an unfortunate circumstance with Hurricane Patricia, the strongest of all times hitting the Jalisco Pacific Coast, which put a strain on the roofing of some cabañas wich started to leak after the prolonged rains. The sleeping arranged is very good and so is the kitchenette in my cabaña. The Hotel has a very good restaurant La Quinta. The selection of food is very good and that all made our stay, in this surrounding woody area, a very pleasant one.

    « Awesome restaurant »

We did not stay at this hotel, we just stopped to est here sine the restaurant across the street was closed. The food was awesome, we asked for the parrillada for four people, we were only three people, it consists of chicken, beef, chorizo and lots of shrimp, it was delicious!!! The price is reasonable, service great, decoration was rustic, will defintely go back.

    « MUY BIEN »

cheap and fresh a?r weather mag?cal atmosphere and l?ke a suenos when rest th?s cabanas

    « Mazamitla hideaway »

For the area this is one of the nicest places. The restaurant was also a 7 out of 10 with typical mexican food.
