SureStay by Best Western Marienville

We had to travel to the area to visit our Grandson. The plans were made last minute and I was not sure what to expect. Everyone was kind and helpful from start to finish. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. The cleanliness of the bathroom is always something I fear when traveling. I was very happy with the accommodations!

Would definitely recommend this hotel. The Rooms were very clean, there was no noise in the hallway. When checking in the Front desk lady was very kind and Compassionate. After I checked out I left my keys behind by accident and they called me to let me know and then mailed them to me.

Poor problem solving from staff, dirty room, uncomfortable blankets, paper thin walls, broken hair dryer. All of these things were reported and nothing was resolved by administrative staff. We had to take matters into our own hands in regards to having the room cleaned and dealing with rude neighboring guests.

Excellent motel for the area. Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Breakfast had a good variety of choices, especially liked the Pancake machine! Touchless, quick and safe to use. We will definitely use this location again and recommend it to family or friends.

My youngest daughter has autism so my family and I called in to make a reservation ahead of time to request connecting rooms. My daughter gets very agitated when being separate from us. We have done this many times before and make reservations at this hotel multiple times a month. When calling in to make the request I've had the front desk staff hang up on me when I've made the request and tell me to shut up. I request connecting rooms every time and every time I get yelled at by the staff like the request is unreasonable. So we show up to the hotel at our last reservation on a Friday night and the staff didn't reserve the right rooms and instead gave us rooms on different floors and with the wrong number of beds. When I asked why she did that, she yelled at me in front of my kids for 15 minutes telling me to shut up. Whoever it is that takes reservations during the week and checked us in on Friday nights has serious customer service issues. My kids were so frightened, they cried afterwards because of how rude she was to our family. We will not be staying at this hotel again until something is addressed with the poor staff. Instead of simply apologizing for the mistake, we don't appreciate being yelled at in a lobby full of other people. Her assistant that was learning was very nice. But whoever the regular lady is should not be in hospitality.

It was clean and convenient. The staff were friendly. Had to replace hot water tank while we were there, so we were without water for a few hours. Obviously that was out of their control. I'm picky about smells - smoke or pets, this didn't have any offensive odors.

The room was fine and the location of the hotel was good. They need to put in a few vending machines in because there's no restaurants to speak of and the few that were there closed at 8:00 pm. Otherwise things were good.

Went up for a festival. Staff was so kind and welcoming. My compliant is breakfast was over too early and we missed it both days. Rooms were very clean! If you want to bring your pet, don't book online, CALL.

Was bumpy when we arrived early. We were told the day before we could check-in but when we arrived at noon we're told we couldn't After some convincing front desk lady she was nice enough to allow it but let us know it would not be able to do it again! Not sure why.. hotel was empty and rooms were clean and available Never have an issue before with check-in early as long a rooms were ready. Not sure why this policy is in place.

Happy with ease of check in and check out. Updated, clean room. Located within walking distance of a couple of restaurants. Surrounded by beautiful Pennsylvania forests and mountains! Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is reasonably priced and very clean. There are a couple of good restaurants in the area. Some additional hot food choices were improve breakfast options. Definite stay if in the area. *********************

Hotel very nice! Husband got sick (depressed and agitated) after a meal and single beer at an old hotel close by. Strange. We had to go home. H owever, hallway had nice carpet; staff hospitable and room ship shape. Very disappointed to leave after dinner. What a shame!

The room was clean and overall satisfactory. The staff was very friendly. The location is very nice, I would like to have a fire next time I stay, they have firewood and a firepit out back with 2 picnic tables. Overall, it was a very pleasurable stay! Would love to see sausage or eggs added to the breakfast but it was ok.

Nice clean place Breakfast stocked and clean Friendly staff The rooms are small but meets needs. Fridge/microwave would be nice and there is no elevator but there is only 2 floors. Nice place to stay when traveling.

Only 3 employees working 8-hour shifts and 7-days-a-week handling rooms, laundry, breakfast area and front desk. No maintenance person at all -- and numerous areas clearly show it! A walk around the motel will show that no one picks up trash. This motel has to spend some money by hiring more staff and a knowledgeable maintenance person before it falls into total disrepair. I'll stay at the ma & pa hotel down the road next time.

This was a nice clean hotel. It seemed fairly quiet also. Breakfast was a little light but most hotels are doing that with the virus. We stayed in a double queen room that had a counter with sink and fridge and cabinets between the beds. It was a very nice design.

We had a clean room on the second floor, no complaints. The staff was friendly and well deserving of a tip for how hard working they are and under staffed. The hotel was at capacity. We wanted to take advantage of the fire ring out back but it rained.

I felt safe. My room was clean and looked to be updated with new carpeting and furnishings. There's a nice area out back with picnic tables and a fire ring. The woman who helped me to check in is working triple duty and seems to be there around the clock working the desk, breakfast and housekeeping while I saw someone who looked to be a manager smoking outside. The bathroom was clean and well supplied, but the water pressure in the shower was low. I gave a mediocre score because the walls aren't sound proof. I heard my neighbor snoring, noise from the parking lot and from the rooms around and above me, including a barking dog. It was a long night. I don't think I'll be back, despite the positive points.

Room was very clean along with the bathroom. Non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes! Still smelled aftee.spraying Lysol and having window open most of the night! Reported as soon as we arrived, never offered another room. We were told to make sure we told the morning desk on checkout so we didn't get charged an extra cleaning fee! Coffee pot did not work.

The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. They have a list of places available for dinner. The internet worked well. The breakfast was a grab and go type set up. The had hard boiled eggs and yogurt in addition to muffins, granola bars and apples.

It is the only place near Marienville. I stay in a lot of places, and this was by far the worst. Tiny room, lots of noise, no trash can, not enough blankets, weak water pressure and funny smell. However, the next closest place is 30 minutes away. So, it's this place or your car.

My son and I visited recently and the hotel was very clean the staff was nice and everything worked. We were close to Cooks forest and oth.er activities like canoe rental. There was a nice side door which led to the parking lot

A great place to stay when you are looking to enjoy Allegheny Forest, Cooks Forest and Kinzu Bridge. The hotel is clean and updated. We stayed with our dogs with no issues and there is plenty of space to walk them.

This premium hotel was tucked away among townships and was a welcome need for comfort, internet and quality amenities. The hotel was clean, well equipped and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable while dealing with the guidelines of Covid 19. Right in down town in Marienville. The singe queen room with sofa, microwave and fridge made our 4 day stay comfortable. Will stay again when we are back in the area. The bed slept like a dream and the AC worked great.

The room was clean and comfortable. My only minor issue was there was no breakfast. I guess because of all the stuff going on because of the virus. I just wish they had put that on their website so we knew not to expect it. Other than that it was fine. I have stayed here before and it was ok, but it has changed hands and has been fixed up. Much better now than it was. I would definitely stay again.

i have stayed here many times its close to my work and very comfortable. the rooms are clean and quiet the staff is very helpful and pleasant. never had any problems and traveling alone I feel vey safe

Been staying there for several yrs. previous owners didn't take as much care as these new owners do...cleaned painted new everything nice polite customer service over all great time. Makes you feel good about being there, like at home.

Had a great stay here and will definitely stay here again. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful beds were beer comfortably. The only problem I was quoted one price and showed my email upon checking in and was charged another price..the manager was not very friendly and just refunded $20 on my credit card which doesn't come out to right price I was charged taxes on the the whole amount. I think he needs more training

Were in Marienville for a twice a year ATV ride that benefits multiple organizations. This hotel is a wonderful place to stay. Clean, updated rooms Owner on site and very attentive. He remembered us on sight from a stay 6 months previously.

Missing remote, bathroom was locked before we even used it, was half cleaned. Great front desk worker. Only 6 people were guests at the hotel. I could hear other guests in other rooms when the AC kicked off. I couldn't sleep. I only booked the room to sleep in because the Allegheny national Forest is gorgeous. I will never stay there again.
