"My Go To Hotel"

I usually stay at Best Western because it is clean, reasonably priced, and comfortable. The locations are easily accessible, and I like the BW Reward system. I like the breakfast convenience but wish serving time would be extended to 10:30 A.M.

My check in was super fast; I was able to check in very early which was a blessing, the front desk employee was very sweet and genuine, helped me make some coffee and was genuinley interested in me as a guest to be able to enjoy all the accomadations the hotel had to offer; I felt like family and I will never forget the experience and warmth I received here at this hotel

There was a large children's birthday party that occupied the entire reception area, breakfast seating,and pool area. This continued for hours. The after party included children running up and down the halls screaming. Some screaming and crying. Not what I signed up;. I just wanted someplace to sleep after tailgating and football.

Got a room for the night on our cross country trip. Overall, a good place to stay. Clean, friendly staff, and ok breakfast. Beds could be a little more comfy but not bad for this level of hotel. Price was reasonable. Would definitely recommend if travelling through the Lubbock area.

"Could not have been worse!"

This was the hotel from Hell. It started out badly and got progressively worse as the night wore on. First off, the card key system did not work, so I had to truck our luggage from one end of the property to another. Then, we discover that the commode was not anchored to the floor, so sewage water leaked all around it. All it would have taken to fix it was to tighten the nuts on the bolts in the floor. I offered to do that if the snippy, argumentative female at the desk would have provided me with a small crescent wrench, but she refused. My wife wanted to take a shower, and guess what! No hot water! I reported that to Mis Snippy, who argued that we were too dumb to know how to turn the faucet on properly! I told her that I wanted to discuss this whole disaster with the boss. She said he was the owner and would be there at 7 am. The next morning at 9 am he had not shown up, and the very nice, sympathetic, helpful lady on the desk said he shows up around 10 or 11 or whenever he feels like it. She was excellent, but all alone so she staffed the desk and prepared breakfast at the same time. In short, this is the worst place we have ever stayed in all our 20 years of traveling in the US and in Europe. I will never stay at this, or any, Best Western motel again, ever.

Because of the distance from our hometown to Lubbock, we always stay overnight when taking our daughter back to college for move in or move out. I was familiar with the area the hotel was located in based on prior stays. The hotel appeared to have recently had some renovations as the walls looked freshly painted and the tile floors looked new. The staff was very friendly and the accommodations were great. Only complaint was the hallways and elevator were super hot.

Rooms were clean great complementary breakfast , very friendly front desk staff , housekeeping did a great job at keeping rooms cleaned very helpful , this hotel was very helpful when we checked out of the rm and we had some unavoidable circumstances come we had to come back to get the rooom back they helped us and accommodated us . That was nice only it would've been nice to get the same discount we had at first but that's ok we were able to get the same room back. They very friendly there at this hotel.

First I have to say "KUDOS" to the front desk girl, Gloria!!!!! She went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and welcoming....give that girl a raise!!! I was upgraded to a king suite (diamond select perk) and my room was clean and inviting. I was impressed by the security fence all the way around the building and the lighting at night all around the building was GREAT. The breakfast was very good with something for all appetites and diets. I seriously would recommend this hotel while in Lubbock. I also recommend booking direct with Best Western instead of a 2nd party booking place. I believe this is where a lot of the previous complaints stemmed from. js The pool was clean and in working order as well as the hot tub.

I booked my room through hotel.com the night before arriving but I called first to make sure their pool/hot tub was working (my husband has a bad back and needed the jets from the Hot Tub after a long drive). The girl on the phone was so nice and sold me on the fact that they just remodeled the pool and that we would really enjoy it. When I got there, something felt uncomfortable from the beginning. They charge your credit card an additional $100 when you get there to hold as a deposit (you have to sign a paper that list all the things you could do to allow them to keep your $100) and they made it very clear that you can't loss your keys and have to bring them back in the morning. I felt like that was very old fashioned, and unprofessional from what I'm used to nowadays. When I asked the lady at the corner where the pool was she told me "Oh, its broken and will be closed all night". I wanted to FLIP OUT! I explained the issue to her and she kept giving me a half smile and had this "Sorry, your SOL and it's not my problem" attitude towards me. She told me there was no one she could call and that her manager would not be available until Monday (it was Friday). I went back to my car and explained to my husband what happened and wanted to see if hotels.com could cancel my reservation because I just got HORRIBLE vibes from this place. I couldn't bare the thought of having to stay the night. My husband proceeded to go speak to her and she changed her attitude with him and told him that we could use the Hot Tub only (not the pool) and magically there was now someone she could call to confirm that. We used the Hot Tub and saw that the pool was indeed broken. The water in the pool looked so gross as if it was sitting there for days. I don't know if I believe it was working when I called the night before (but I have no proof of that). The next morning the pool was open and working again. I don't see how they would of had time to drain out all the gross water and replace it that quickly (which I also don't have proof of). Personally, there is no way I would of used that pool the next morning after seeing how gross it looked the night before. I also noticed that the maids watch you like a hawk. They want to try to catch you breaking any little rule at all so they can keep your $100. By the way, the maids are rude too. This place is not owned by a cooperation. It is privately owned. I kept going back and fourth if I was gonna stay here or at the holiday Inn Express. I choose this place because it was $10 cheaper. Something I later regretted. On the bright side, the breakfast was OK and the rooms weren't bad. There are A LOT of surrounding hotels that look so dirty and gross. This place is a step up from those. My advice to the owners, be kind to your guest, don't try to rip anyone off. You have a great thing going for you, a nice hotel where there are no nice hotels. If only you can make your guest feel at home, they might come back. Give yourself a good name.

The deposit is for the incidental deposit which is 100% refundable to the guests if there are no damage/s is/are found on the amenities, electronics etc. in the room they stayed in. Refund will be put back to your credit card after 3-5 business days or depends on how fast your bank works. I sincerely apologized if this was not mentioned during your reservation, we will check booking procedure published online and update all information. Regarding the pool, I assure you that the pool is cleaned on a regular basis, including weekly special treatment . We hope you'll come back to see how we've grown through feedback like yours.

"Worst customer service ever"

This is probably the first time I've rated a place that I've never stayed at. So here's the story: Family of 4 plus a dog, driving from Los Angeles to Austin, we stayed over in flagstaff and then planned on staying over in Lubbock. Well, our car broke down in Albuquerque around 4:30pm. So I called the best western and Barbara puts me on hold and then hangs up on me. So I call back and Barbara puts me on hold, again. 8 minutes later I hang up and call back. Barbara picks up again and I say “if you put me on hold will you actually get back to me?” To which she replies “I'm really busy and the only one here. If you only knew how busy I am!” So I am put on hold. Wait another 5 minutes. Hang up and call the company I booked the room through. They say they can't change the reservation to the next night without the hotels approval. So I call best western/Barbara back and am told “of course you can reschedule the reservation but you need to do it through the reservation company. “ so I call them back. They put me on hold for a few minutes then come back and say the hotel is refusing to change the date and are charging us the full rate for the night. Barbara says there's nothing she can do about it even though she's the one who refused to let us change the date. So to sum up: car breaks down. Can't get to Lubbock. Told by Barbara that's just tough luck but we're not getting our money back and can't just change the date. Worst customer service ever. Thanks so much for all the help with my stranded family + dog Barbara! I'll be contacting best western corporate to log my complaint.

"Worst Place to Stay"

Worst place to stay. Unfriendly Staff, Bed bugs just horrible. It began from the moment we "tried" to check in first attempt. It began because my husband has a service animal. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. First, we were asked to provide a card that state's that my husband's dog was a service animal. First, there is no such card. And second according to the ADA there is no registry or card for a service animal. Then when I tried to tell the woman that her response was her manager required one and other people have one. I asked her to call her general manager and she refused. Then she said that she had no pet friendly rooms. Ok, well you cannot put us in a special room because we have a service animal. We pointed this out and asked her agian to call her General Manager and agian she refused. I agian tried to let her know a service animal is not the same as a pet. She held up her pet policy folder and said do you want to read this, this says I can put you in a special room. At this point I asked how we could get in contact with the general manager. She pointed to a card and I asked which number was his and said it was the top one. Needless to say that we left without checking in. We had to go park some where and I proceeded to try and call the General Manager. I called the number that she said was the General Manager's and I realized that it was the number to the hotel. I had to call the reservation number to get someone to help. Thank Anita the woman that helped me. She was awesome. Thank you, Anita. After Anita explained to them ADA laws we were finally able to check in. After that the staff was so unfriendly. The General Manger gave us dirty looks and would not acknowledge us or greet us. Another woman at the front desk question my husband if he was a guest there. Also my husband was bit by bed bugs. Please do not stay there. Furthermore, I had filled out a survey and I received a email from the General Manager; Jay Patel. This email did not address any of the issues we had and he did not attempt to apologize for the treatment we received. All the email contained was thanking us for liking the breakfast. It was a total slap in the face.

"Not the "Best" Western Inn or the Plus"

This hotel was our last night on our mega trip to the southwest. We spent one night here and it was not a great experience. The Room seemed find other than we had "company" in our linens. There was no one to check us in when we arrived. We had very slow internet. There were children, unsupervised, running up and down the hall all night to the pool. No parent and no one in charge trying to keep them quiet so the many guests could rest. They do say that they have breakfast, we could not eat there as one guest took all the food from the hot food item buffets and said to every other guest waiting in line that it was the hotel that needed to be better staffed. All the food she took sat on plates for her group and was not consumed. When I checked out I showed a photo of the spiders in our bed and was not even acknowledged. Nothing, Nada....I will never be back to this hotel again unless management or ownership changes. This is not typical of most of the Best Western Plus hotels we have been at, I was sad about this experience

"Good experience "

I stayed here one night in preperation for my NCLEX exam. I got the king suite with a Jacuzzi tub. I was able to park my car so I could see it from my window. The room was comfortable. I tub was really nice. The staff was very nice. The room was clean. I loved that it had a fridge and microwave. The only thing that was unpleasant was the ice machine was a bit loud, but i understand is unavoidable. The continental breakfast had a pretty good variety but the eggs were not that good, and the biscuit was hard. I would still recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff at front desk. Nice quiet room. Hotel is a few blocks from grocery store and drug store. Pet friendly. Easy highway access. Comfortable bed. Shower ok, not as forceful as it should have been. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room. Adequate breakfast with several choices.

"Dated but Clean and Fuctional"

We were trying to find a Comfort Inn when we came across this Best Western. My wife said, "I'm tired, this is it!" We were quoted a great price plus a discount for AAA membership. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful, recommending routes and restaurants. The hot tub was broken but the pool was available along with a workout room. The room was dated but it was very clean and well appointed with suitcase stands, ironing board with iron, hair dryer, a large TV, desk, chair, small fridge, and microwave. Free WiFi is available. The hotel offers a full menu complimentary breakfast and coffee and tea at all times. The only drawback is the hotel is right on the freeway/busy frontage road with lots of traffic noise. Get a room on the backside of the building.

"Zero wasn't an option."

I checked in on a Saturday, corporate travel, credit card authorization already sent and on file (I asked after finding the problem). I presented my personal debit card for "Incidentals" and specified it was for incidentals only. I checked my balance later in the afternoon on Saturday and noticed the hotel had charged the room to my card. I went to the desk and spoke with Brennon, who informed me that he could still see the other cc info in the system and that he should be able to get the charges reversed. He said to check on Monday. Come Monday afternoon, I check my bank. No change, the charge is still there. So I spoke to the clerk on duty and she made it seem that I was to blame that they charged the wrong cc. IT was entirely up to me to fix the problem. She said that I'd have to have my company send the credit card authorization and it'd take 10-12 days to reverse the charge against my card. Walked away angry and frustrated with the lack of help received. I contacted my company and they sent me a copy of the credit card authorization that they'd sent in a week before my reservation! Didn't get that until Tuesday morning. Corporate is in a different time zone. Went back to the desk Tuesday afternoon and showed the same young lady the credit card authorization and her answer was that corporate would need to resend it. Then she asks me why I hadn't talked to the GM in the morning. She hadn't said anything about him being there in the morning the day before. So again she pushes it off on me. They screw up and its my fault. So bottom line she doesn't want to do anything about it. Supposedly the GM has been kept informed while this has been going on. No contact from him. Add to that the side door to the hotel doesn't lock, the room door didin't close all the way when let go. I won't be back and I do not recommend the hotel.

It was ok. I thought it would have been a little better for the price. The tv wasn't the best. The channels were of poor quality. Location was ok , close to the highway. Checking in was not the best. The front desk was poorly covered.

I discovered I was in the wrong when I tried to cancel 19 hours before I thought was the actual cancellation point of no return. Yes...I was wrong, but being a long-time BW member, I believed this manager could have given some grace and not charged me. Did they really have to turn away any customers because this hotel was full on a Monday night in Lubbock, TX? And I also believe this manager avoided communicating with me when I tried to reach out to him

I had a great night stay here. I was on a 12 he trip to killeen and dad to stop for the night. This best western was conveniently right off the highway and had a reasonable price. The staff was great and the room was clean. The have free internet and breakfast which is always a plus.

Just here for two nights. Comfortable, but could not get the AC to work. Breakfast good, bed comfortable. Employees nice! If I come back will definitely stay here. Location was good for the convention, but also good for getting in and out about town.

We stayed on New Year's night, the last night of an eight day road trip. The temperature was very cold. The room was large and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Check out was very good with the very capable work of Gloria. Definitely will keep on our "Stay Again" list.

I have stayed several times at the Best Western Plus in Denton so I thought this should be a good hotel. It was. We did have to pay a nonrefundable pet deposit for each of our <10 pound dogs. It was very modern, super clean, and comfortable. The staff was kind. There is easy access off and on the highway. I would definitely recommend this hotel for travelers.

We stayed here Thanksgiving weekend on our way to meet family in New Mexico. I called and made a reservation while we were on the road and informed the desk clerk we would be arriving late. It was close to midnight and COLD when we finally arrived. Destiny, the front desk clerk, greeted us with a smile and expedited us through check in as quickly as possible. I've been to enough hotels where the front desk acts like I'm bothering them, so this experience really sticks out. I can't tell you how nice it was to have a real professional of the hospitality industry to deal with! The rooms were nice, warm, clean, and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good, and the checkout was the great Best Western easy checkout I love.

This hotel used to be better, but has come under new management. Still a good place to stay, but used to be better. Rooms are clean, breakfast is great. They make you pay a deposit and won't let you check out until they've searched your room for missing items and damages, and then you get your deposit back. They charge $100 for cash paying customers, and $20 if you put it on your credit card, and if you use your card you can just get it credited back after you've left. But for those of us who have fought to get our cards paid off and want to use cash instead, it's a pain, and it's insulting to be treated like a criminal just for checking into the establishment.

We checked in for one night. Our room was upstairs, near the interstate which was noisy. We asked for a quieter room which was downstairs. There was a loud generator on the adjacent prooerty, and we were concerned that the noise would continue through the evening. My husband went to ask the woman at the front desk about the noise. She did not know about it, and seemed irritated to change the room. We had never used either room. The noise suddenly stopped, and I went to the front desk to let my husband know. The woman was in the process of changing rooms, when we said we would stay in the room. She was not pleasant and showed irritation. We asked about the guest laundry, she did know if any machine worked. We asked her for quarters go use, and she said she only had $5.00 and could not give it to us. A half hour later, she called to say they had no control of adjacent noise. I agree, all we wanted was a quiet room! Her manager arrived later, and she said she could give us quarters. The hotel should be prepared for guests' needs, and should have front desk staff who are pleasant and try to accommodate a guest's needs. We are in Best Western's loyalty program and this was a disappointing experience.

To start, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Easy check in. First room the tv and ac did not work so they moved us across the hall. The first room had traffic noise and second room had bass you could hear from the neighborhood behind. The rooms were not very clean. Bed spread was stained, towels had brown marks on them. Breakfast was nasty. Spend a little more for a better hotel.

I stayed at so many Best Western, Best Western Plus and Premium hotels and always was pleased with the service and exceptionally clean rooms. This one is one of the top cleanest Best Western hotels I've ever stayed. Breakfast wasn't so good as at other best westerns, but in general I'm very satisfied.

They told us breakfast would be serve till 10 on weekends and it was tell 9 am only, the front desk person refused to put out more food, he was rude and on his phone all the time, the same happened on weekdays they stop serving food 30-40 min. before the time they say.

Fire alarm in hallway held together by scotch tape. Strike plate on our room door was missing. Outside doors missing key swipe mechanisms, anyone can walk inside which was disturbing since we had someone in the parking lot asking for handouts. The pool was being torn apart. If they were doing renovations they should have had a notice posted.

Stayed here passing through Lubbock. We are traveling with our little dog so nice that pet friendly. Our room was comfortable enough but just not very clean floors. Surprised there was no fridge in the room. Biggest complaint.. the exterior door at the end of our hall did not lock. It looked like it had been tampered with ... glad our room had an extra dead bolt and chain lock. Not the quality we expect from a Best Western hotel.

Though non-smoking, the room smelled of smoke. The tiny 1-cup in-room coffee maker was a joke and the coffee tasted terrible. Go to the nice breakfast room by the lobby and the coffee is better there. Decent breakfast - cereals, sweets, yogurt, hard-bolied and scrambled eggs, toast (including wheat), potatoes, biscuits and gravey. Fresh chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon :) Water quality is awful- buy bottled water to brush your teeth with and don't use much soap or shampoo- you can't rinse it off well due to the water quality. Front desk staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly- super staff! Beds are on the firm side and very conmfortable.

The Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had two rooms and they were very nice and clean. This hotel allowed for pets (we had one puppy with us). The staff accommodated cleaning the room around the puppy's schedule. Breakfast was good and they replaced items as needed.

Location is good, just off I27 and easy off and on to the highway. Rooms have a nice set of amenities but, may be a hit or miss, as to which ones actually are operational. Beds are, fairly confortable but not the pillows. Hotel is not kept through out the day and you may find over flowing trash cans right on the entrance. The hallways, seemed to be vacuumed just once, at best. Breakfast item are okay and will do the job. Internet, is of a good speed, enough to check emails and such. Parking is good but, if front is full, there's parking behind the building. There's a pool, although I did not use.

We ALWAYS stay at BW properties. I was looking forward to the hot tub and pool. There was some greenish slime on the sides of the hot tub and the bottom of the pool was so slippery you could not keep your footing. The bathtub had a seam where it joined the shower. It was full of mold. Most BW's are clean. This one needs some work.

We have used this hotel before and had no issues. This time we had to move rooms twice, once upon arrival due to a strong smoke smell and once the following day because the shower was leaking through to the downstairs. When we got our third room the key cards would not work and they had to open it with a master key. They said they would have the lock reprogrammed with new key cards when we returned. We returned 6 hours later and the new cards would not work. Again they had to use the master key to let us in. I am a Best Western member and try to use BW when possible. My daughter is starting college in the area and I was hoping to use this site when visiting her. With this experience I will be looking at other possibilities.

No sign on pool so my kids went swimming in a green slimy pool before I realized something just wasn't right. I asked front desk and they informed me the pump was out. They attempted fix but I left the next day for other reasons. My guess is that we would have never been able to swim in it anyway. The whole reason we stayed here was to use the pool. Maybe I should have just gone to another place but we had already unpacked before I realized the pool was out of order. My biggest beef was that the didn't put a sign on the door or tell me the pool was not working.

Very clean, nice décor, very accommodating. We were pulling a trailer, and had our animals with us. It was easy to park and unload with all rooms being on one floor. The breakfast was basic, but fresh and good. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. This was one of the best, Best Westerns we have stayed at.

We had a great stay at this hotel. They were very pet friendly. Although there wasn't a lot of grass, we were given a room near the grass that had a bag station for pets. Also, one employee gave our dog treats and water. As far as the hotel, it looks like it has been recently remodeled. Everything is very clean and modern. The pool and hot tub were great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable as well. The breakfast was probably the best we have had in a hotel in a while- there were ingredients for breakfast burritos, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, cereal, toast, etc. We would highly recommend this hotel.

I start this by emphasizing that I'm about as easy to please as anyone when it comes to a hotel room (especially when traveling for business). That said, the bathroom ceiling started dripping dirty water from the light fixture about 15 minutes after I checked in. Within a few minutes, the leak became a steady stream of water, and then an even larger stream started pouring out of the ceiling above the entry way...meaning it was impossible not to get splattered as I rushed to get all of my belongings out of there. Once at the front desk, the employee seemed alarmingly nonchalant about the event (as if this was a fairly common occurrence) and eventually got around to issuing me a new room. No apology or discount was offered. Many other reasonably priced hotels in the area -- stay away from this one!

We stayed with our small dog in the pet-friendly end of the first floor, which was convenient for trips outside. Several other pets were in nearby rooms, but did not disturb us. We were initially assigned a room with a strong cigarette odor, even though the hotel is a non-smoking property. Although we were moved to a different room across the hall, it seems like the hotel must have known that the first room had a bad odor.

This is a very good hotel with nice staff, good for the fur baby and had a decent breakfast. Glad to know our only pet friendly options are not Motel 6. I would recommend Best Western if you need a good inexpensive hotel or if you want a nice hotel that is pet friendly and does not cost an arm and a leg.

Expedia did not have our reservation forwarded to them. So, our pet friendly room was not available to us. After driving 12 hours this was infuriating! Carla tried her best to get Expedia and her manager to let us have a nonpet room. When this failed she called a guest who had not checked in to confirm reservation. Left message. She called a sister hotel for us and they had a room. Miraculously, when we were about to confirm room, the woman who had the reservation came in to cancel!!!! Thank you Carla you went above and beyond to help us!!!!!!

I travel with the Lone Star Miata Club. We mostly stay at the Best Western Plus if available. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms clean with great mattresses as usual. (I have a bad back). Good breakfast. The only negative would the TV. They need to update their carrier.

"Stuck in Lubbock!"

We didn't intend to spend an extra night in lubbock but couldn't get out because of weather. I wanted a hotel with easy access to the airport and the Best Western was only 15 minutes and a straight shot off I27. I called the hotel to make a reservation and a very helpful clerk answered and not only set me up at the hotel, but gave me good advice as to how to get there (use the yellow taxis and not Uber). When we arrived our room keys were ready and a room where no other guests were staying on other side of us was given so that we could get the rest we really needed. The clerk was very knowledgable regarding restaurants and since we didn't have a car he suggested delivery. His suggestion of Cowboy Chicken was perfect! The delivery came and we received a call to our room that it had arrived. Boy was this the best meal we had eaten! Highly recommended. The facility has recently been updated (About 2 dozen microwaves were sitting in the front lobby when we arrived!). The surrounding area is not luxurious, but it's Lubbock!

We drove into Lubbock after being on the road for 10+ hours and were warmly greeted by Brandon, a very warm and friendly staff member. He quickly had us in our room and later on that day was very helpful in finding us another BW on a future visit to another city.

I always look forward to my stay here. As a salesman I have reports to fill out each night and I have never had a problem with the WiFi here. That means a lot to me. They have a great breakfast. They have many ot h er amenities here and the people are excellent. So enjoy your stay.

This BW is conveniently located on IH-27 with easy access to the Lubbock 289 Loop, making it easy to travel around the city. Have stayed here several times, the hotel has always been well kept and the staff friendly.

"Great Place to Stay with Kids but squeaky bed"

Our kids LOVE swimming so this place was great and had a swimming pool, free breakfast, and wasn't too full so the kids were able to be a bit loud at times without complaints. The only problem was that the bed frame was so squeaky on one side of the room (one of the double beds) that I wasn't able to get any sleep. Everyone else slept though, thats what matters.

I was driving from Arizona to San Antonio and needed a place to stop and sleep. I love Best Western, they never fail in their great customer service, good rooms and great rates. Had a wonderful night sleep, as always. Our sofa bed didn't have any linens, but that was quickly taken care of by the front desk staff. During breakfast they had ran put of the large disposable plates, but they were quick to send someone to get some and had plenty of smaller plates for us to serve ourselves.

Enjoyed our stay at Best Western, breakfast was great and the staff were excellent. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Also, the location was very accessible for our trip. We did have a problem with the WiFi but the problem was resolved once we brought it to the attention of the staff.

Came in from Houston for my sons Spring Game and Brandon took ExCELLENT care of me. He is always extremely professional and goes out of his way to make sure every guest have exactly what they need. Our son plays football for Tech so Brandon took care of us each time we traveled for home games last year. We would arrive very late and he took time to make sure our room was reaDy, we always had a place to park and Cold water waiting on us on check in . He is very good at what he does and it's people like him that make you want to keep coming back!! Thanks Brandon for giving more than 100% at what you do.

The front desk clerk i think his name was Dennis he was amazing, went above and beyond. From the phone call when i called to make the reservation to checking in and even the express check out. The room was super clraned almost looked brand new even tho i knew it wasn't. Will definitely stay here again

On a road trip to New Mexico and Arizona, we got a late start from our Fort Worth home and stayed overnight in Lubbock, TX. This motel was a pleasant surprise--spotlessly clean and staffed by a great group of employees. My husband got up for the free breakfast (he's a hopeless optimist) and it was the only thing about the motel that was not first rate (but are they ever?).

We stayed here on a Thursday night. Since it was a hotel close to the interstate, we requested and were given a room on the backside of the hotel. The front desk clerk checked us in quickly and before long were settled into our room. It was clean, quiet, the beds were comfortable, and it had a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was good; it had the traditional cereals, pancakes, etc. and also warm items. The area was clean and the items were well stocked. Upon checkout, the attendant went out of her way to be courteous and helpful! It was a good stay; we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

First impressions are deceiving . Nice hotel from exterior. We went inside and there was no desk clerk. Waited and waited and the clerk happened to be upstairs looking into something. Once he came back down he first said our room was given away. Then he found a room and checked us in. Room was decent. About 2 a.m. someone tried to open our door luckily we had it chained. Called the front desk and they stated they didn't show our room occupied. Worst experience we have had. When I complained they sent me a e-mail stating they would give us 15% off our next stay. Really????

"Worst stay ever had - clerk kept credit card and hotel in disrepair"

I reached out to see if a manager would offer at least a discount or something for the terrible service and they will not offer any remedy. Clerk kept our business cc( was too busy telling us how bad hotels.com was), hotel was horrible shape, rooms stunk, and everything was in middle of remodel. Wouldn't been big deal if I wouldn't paid full retail price for something that is in disrepair. Worst part, is they don't care to remedy the issue. I never leave neg feedback, but thought since they don't seem to think anything is wrong I will warn the next person thinking about booking it. Beware.... You will be better off going down the street to different hotel.

"Good, but not exceptional"

This hotel was ok. We have stayed in a lot of BW's. I would rate this in the middle of the group. Breakfast was not really hot, but, it was adequate. We stayed there one night and did not actually spend very much time in the hotel. We always try to stay in a BW because it is consistently good.

Pros: room was clean, breakfast was adequate, daytime staff (Gloria) was great -- very helpful & informative, afternoon staff were a little too laid back. Cons: Location -- close to scary public housing, houses in this area have bars on windows & fences with pointy tops, nothing else in immediate area as far as stores or restaurants - only a couple other hotels, free wifi doesn't reach far from the lobby area, indoor pool was slightly murky - did not use.

We arrived late and had difficulty finding the location at first. Brandon and his staff could not have been more helpful. They went above and beyond general service to make our stay stress free and comfortable. The room was nice and the breakfast was a good variety and easy to navigate. We have to return to Lubbock soon and plan to stay there again. I recommend this motel to anyone traveling this way.

We had a great stay. The staff is wonderful, comfortable beds, clean rooms, good breakfast. The hotel was completely booked but the staff handled everyone's needs in a timely manner. They serve the "usual" complimentary breakfast with hot and cold options. Most importantly, they had 24 hour coffee available while we were there.

We had a king suite and were very satisfied with the room. The pool and hot tub looked murky, but we weren't planning on using them anyway. Breakfast was typical Best Western. We would stay here again if our travels take us through Lubbock.

This was a great hotel to stay at during our stay we received the best customer service than I have ever had. I will definitely come back and recommend this motel to all my friends and family. The staff was really helpful in guiding us around town, they also recommended good places to eat and give great direction on how to get where we were going. "Nice place to Stay"

We have stayed at this Best Western several times now! It is a convenient place to stay when in Lubbock, Texas. The people are nice and helpful at the desk! The rooms are nice even though the mattresses are a little hard for our taste. We have a sleep number bed at home, so that makes a difference!

Nice Hotel, front desk guy was very friendly! Hotel was not to far from where we were going and easily accessible from the interstate. Will definitely stay here again! I slept great and didn't wake up for breakfast but I am sure it was good!

"Great Staff but Not Great Breakfast"

The room we stayed in was cozy, not spacious but not cramped, with beds that were comfortable. I liked that they had both firm and soft pillows to choose from. The bedding was stained which was a little creepy but when you have white, I suppose it's bound to happen. The breakfast had options, but the eggs and sausages were terrible and the biscuits were so hard we could barely cut through them. the staff was really helpful and friendly. They made sure we had what we needed.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The room was very nice.The bed slept excellent! Nice shower, also. Friendly staff! We left early, so didn't get to eat breakfast. We did have in room coffee so that helped.

"Probably won't stay here again"

This property appears to be well maintained from the outside and common areas, but we were disappointed in the maintenance and cleanliness of the room itself. The towels were tired, worn down, and faded. The bed ruffle was torn (the maid admitted that she knew that to be the case), and the carpet was old and stained. It's the kind of place where you don't feel comfortable getting between the sheets (although we did give them a very thorough visual examination).

"Hotel Property Maintenance NEEDED"

Staff was GRADE A+ but there is so much to be needed at this hotel. It is a NEW Brand of the Hotel and you would think the Hotel would be all BRAND NEW ALSO, and it's NOT. A Hotel Property Maintenance IS NEEDED VERY MUCH at this HOTEL !!! WHY IS THERE NO MAINTENANCE HERE ??? As a Hotelier myself, I've never been at a Hotel with some kind of Maintenance at the Property, and that falls on the GM. Cause how can The General Manager RUN a Hotel with things that need's to be fixed and replace ??? Gloria, Casandra, and The Night Audit Marcus are THE BEST in Service and trying to make sure Guest have a GOOD Stay.The Fitness Room is REALLY OLD, The Air conditioner filters were EXTREMELY Dirty and Gloria had the housekeeping clean the Air Conditioner itself, and gave a Warm Hi to our Daughter who love to see her everyday we stayed. The Housekeeper even left our door open to our room and we told Gloria and Gloria said she would take care of it. The General Manger never tried to meet with us or apologized himself or fix our stay and he was there some days we were there. This Place gives that illusion that it's ALL BRAND NEW and it's still a long way to being ALL NEW and ready for guest to stay in rooms. In Cleanness and General Management NEED WORK !!! Gloria should have a SHOT at General Manager Position I'm sure she would make sure THE House (The HOTEL) is CLEAN...

Monica at the desk during check-in was quite helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hot breakfast was fresh and good. We wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the pool and hot tub (as we were traveling, a great soak would have been wonderfully relaxing and helpful).

I stayed there for two nights, all the staff are really good, breakfast was great, hotel is pretty decent with what I have paid, looks like there are lot of new changes and they are trying to remodel the hotel which is plus. This is one of my go to hotel in Lubbock. Try it.

"Run Away"

Could not check us in because of computers down. Bugs in the room. Toilet backed up when we tried to flush it. Drunks in the hallway singing making noise. Threatening us when we asked them to be quiet. No security. I will never go near this place again.

After a long drive I needed a quiet and rest full place. This hotel fits the bill and the cost is very reasonable. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Easy access off the highway, lots of parking. Breakfast was very good.

Great place right off of 1-27. Clean rooms,quiet and cold ac units which is plus for me. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Front desk very nice and the afternoon free chocolate chip cookies were really good but rather have oatmeal raisin never the less great stay.

"Spacious, clean, modern rooms"

First time to stay at this hotel. It is right on the freeway so convenient to everything and about five miles from Texas Tech University. The rooms were clean and spacious and looked newly renovated. Staff friendly and the breakfast was good. We stayed in a pet friendly room but didnt bring our pet at the last minute, but it was great with the laminate flooring and convenience on the first floor near by the exit. All pet friendly rooms were together so I feared I would hear barking dogs all night but that was not the case. I saw a few dogs on their leashes but never heard any. There were security cameras throughout the property and security checks by hotel personnel. Great place to stay, affordable and convenient.

"Nice stay for I27"

The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. This hotel is located off of I27 can can be a little noisy on the east side (facing the interstate). However, I was on the west side this time and could not hear a thing. This hotel is also an easy commute to some good restaurants.

The hotel was clean and the pet room was nice. Breakfast in the morning was good; we liked the tortillas that were offered to allow you to make a breakfast burrito. The downsides were quite a bit of road noise and a noisy air conditioner unit.

"Management will not HONOR REFUNDS AT ALL!!!!"

I was set to travel from Houston to Albuquerque. I was in a car accident, and my itinerary was forced to change due to this accident. I had called Getaroom.com to book this hotel to begin with. The accident occurred on a Weds. and I had booked the room for Thursday, as a stopover on the way to ABQ. The time of the accident was a little after 9:00 pm. After calling 911, I immediately called the hotel to cancel - BEFORE I even called my insurance company. I told them I didn't expect I'd be checking in in the time frame I originally was supposed to, due to the accident. I let them know I wanted to cancel - not check in at a later time. I was told that I could only speak to the manager regarding a refund, and he was out of the country at the time. Really? The representative can't make this happen for me?? I was told his name was MIKE PATEL - and he was not set to return until the following week. They could cancel my booking but could not issue a refund. I then called Getaroom.com - who told me I had to speak to Best Western corporate office. So I called the corporate office, who told me this location is a franchise, and they couldn't help, that it was the manager's discretion on the refund. I finally called my insurance company to sort that out. Once sorted, I called this hotel again, and was told again, the room has been cancelled, but no refund could happen until I spoke with the manager. I'm now out $119.00 until the following week. So the following week comes, and I call and ask for MIKE PATEL. He tells me he can't refund my room rate because I hadn't cancelled the room!! I most certainly did call - made several attempts in fact. I was told he couldn't do anything for me. I called the corporate office to complain, that their franchise is making a BAD name for the entire chain of Best Western hotels because of this one event. Through no fault of my own, involved in an accident, 14 hours still ahead of me, and can't get a refund!! The corporate office asked for proof of my purchase of the room, phone records of the call that was placed to cancel the room, and upon receipt of these items, I'd receive a room at ANY OTHER BEST WESTERN for the amount I'd paid for this room - $119.00... I was so furious!! I was about to start my new job in ABQ, and I have to produce all this, just to get a refund, which never was a refund to begin with!! I will never, never, ever use Best Western again, and I have told everyone I know the same thing. Considering I'm in a service industry, I know you go above and beyond to satisfy a customer. I got nothing but grief. Such a pathetic resolution, all for $119.00 - shameful..... if this is how they conduct business, what else do they shirk on that the customer is unaware of??

This hotel is just OK. The rooms are very out dated. The restrooms were the worst part because water does not drain from the tub properly and there are several stains all over. Overall it was OK for a short stay.

"Great Overnight Getaway"

My wife and I decided to get away for an evening and found this BW a great place to stay. It's quiet, clean, and has friendly staff. Having stayed in hotels of many different levels, I find this location to be among the top, especially because of a fair price. The next time we need a getaway, this is where we will be heading.

We needed a short notice hotel, this place is very nicely appointed, easily found, very comfortable, staff is very gracious and competent. Breakfast was complete and very good, pool and spa welcoming, best of all, room was quiet, comfortable and bed slept very well, if in Lubbock again, will definitely stay again.

Very nice and clean. Big rooms. Quite. Snack machine takes cash only. Good breakfast in the morning. It was hard to locate in my GPS but is right off freeway. In door pool. Great water feature in entryway.

"SHADY HOTEL-DON'T STAY HERE"

This by far the shadiest hotel I have ever been to. Immediately once I arrived, I could tell this was an older property that probably used to be another hotel. They make you sign a form that lists all the fees that you may incur. This surprised me as I've never seen this before but then again I'm used to staying in 4 or 5 star hotels. In Lubbock, you don't have many choices. At $100/night, I would expect more. I checked into my hotel at 4:35pm, laid my stuff down and left to get something to eat. I returned for a few minutes and then left again to meet a friend. When I returned at 7pm, I started to unwind, I pulled the sheets back and noticed they looked dingy. Took the sheet off the bed and noticed a big dry urine stain. Disgusted, I told the front clerk and she moved me to another room. The room was better and I didn't see anything wrong with the sheets. When I went downstairs that same night to use the internet, the guy that works night shift told me he heard about it and housekeeping said the sheets weren't like that that morning. Sounds like they were already coming up with a story. Anyway, I just received my credit card bill and I noticed a $100 charge. Called the front desk manager, Gloria and she was told by housekeeping that they found the sheets with urine in the second room. How convenient! They could not provide any physical evidence when I asked and told me the charges will stay. Glad I took pictures as I had a feeling this place was shady. They don't think it's strange in the first room urine was on the mattress pad but not on the sheet? I wouldn't of even known had I not took the sheet off. In addition, the towels are yellow (not white) and the floor was so dirty, it turned my socks black. This place is gross. I'm glad that I took pictures and will submit to their corporate office as management was not helpful. I have a feeling they run this scam often to charge people additional fees. Never trust someone that gives you a list of upfront fees. They are looking to collect. Check their yelp reviews. I will get my money back from my credit card company and will never stay there again.

Hi Natasha, We're sorry you feel our hotel is shady. We did not charge you a cleaning fee for "convenience" or without cause. The front desk moved you to another room as you requested because of the wet sheets in the first room. This was our mistake, or so we thought. When you checked-out both the beds in your new room had been soiled from what seemed to be urine. Accidents do happen so we normally would not charge for this, but in this incident the mattresses had been affected. The cost of sanitizing both mattresses exceeds the amount we charged you. Room was clean and comfortable but smelled a little musty til the a/c was turned up; the shower needs some mold abatement and there was a cucaracha in the tub in the a.m. The breakfast was good but staff had to be reminded to refill some items.

We favor Best Western Plus, but are unsure how this one got the designation. Our ADA accessible room was tiny- a wheelchair could not have moved about in this room. The bathroom was not completely painted-large sections of old paint and patches were visible. Bathroom door could not be closed completely, then could hardly be opened. Toilet paper holder was broken. Room smelled like dirty socks. Bed linens had scuff marks. Warning signs in public areas everywhere about fines for smoking, pets. Breakfast room chairs had plastic covers like Grandma's couch, and there was plastic strips on the flooring. Breakfast area floor was dirty, littered. Small breakfast room, many large families.

We arrived to find a comfortable and clean room. The beds were sleep producing (much needed after a long drive). The breakfast of eggs,sausage, and delicious coffee sent us on our way satified. Would recommend this place highly if you are in Lubbock.

This hotel is better by far as compared to others in the Lubbock area. A full breakfast, comfortable accommodations and most of all a friendly and attentive staff. Hotel rates in the area were overpriced but Best Western's rates are family friendly and affordable for anyone. Take from me, if you go once - you will go back again.

We stayed at this hotel, when we came back to Lubbock for our granddaughter's birthday. The room was filthy, the water pressure was horrible. We had a Jacuzzi room and there was mold growing around the jets, the renovations that were done were pitiful, you could see where they didn't even complete the painting of the room. To top it off, we have a phone charger stolen from our room by someone in the cleaning staff, even after we left a tip everyday for them cleaning the room, which was never cleaned. We did not receive any new shampoo, we was told they ran out. When reported the stolen phone charger to the night clerk, she was rude and acted like she could care less. We reported it again in the morning to the manager and was told that she would call us back, we never have received any calls. Imagine that!

This hotel appears to have been recently remodeled and is very clean and updated. Rooms and beds comfortable. Complimentary hot breakfast was good and plentiful. Staff friendly. Did not use the pool/spa but there were lots of people using it, appeared well maintained.

Rooms were very nice & included a refrigerator & microwave. The bed was good. The staff was very cordial & especially friendly to our granddaughters. The hot breakfast was good though limited seating space. The indoor pool was small & lobby was non-existent but that could be a non-factor if only need for sleeping. Would recommend.

I felt this was a nice hotel for the money. I did not have breakfast here in the morning, because the breakfast was pretty basic, so we went out for breakfast. But the hotel is clean and very pleasant. Would like to see some softer pillows perhaps, but that's very minor. Thanks for a very pleasant stay.

This location has easy access to the interstate. Each employee checking us in and out, and others we met in dining area and hallways were very friendly and went above our expectations in answering our questions and proving us assistance. The hotels breakfast was much better than other hotels.

I first stayed here in 2013 when I was visiting for my church conference in Plainview. Even though it is about a 45 minute drive, I really enjoy staying at this location. The staff is extremely friendly which is not found everything in the hospitality arena. It is located right off the interstate. The rooms need to have updated chairs. You need to be careful when leaning back; it feels like you are going to tilt over. Overall, a pleasant experience as usual. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Supposed to stay here 3 nights. made it only one night and checked out. terrible smell coming from what we thought was the dresser that we didn't figure out where it was coming from because there was nothing there. My son noticed smell coming from the bed when he awoke. The sheets looked clean so he looked deeper by flipping the mattress. There was a blood soaked tampon underneath the mattress with a used condom wrapper. We checked out of this hotel for another best western near the college which was much better. Cleaner, friendly hotel. the Windsor front desk wouldn't compensate us at all. Avoid the Windsor best western at all costs. The brand is okay. Just not the particular location. cleanliness BAD

This was the last stop on our trip to Yellowstone before we were home again and we were very pleased! Expedient check-in, with a warm and friendly greeting! Comfy, clean and quiet accommodations! Our room was very well appointed and big with a sofa as well as a desk and chairs which gave us the room to be comfortable without being in each other's way. The Internet reception was excellent! No drop offs the whole time we were there. Great breakfast selection with hot entree items like scrambled eggs and sausage with sausage gravy and biscuits as well. And the biscuits were the softest, flakiest and tenderest biscuits I have ever had in a morning hotel breakfast! Lots choices for hot or cold cereals, waffles, and sweet rolls. All was very nice! Check out was a breeze with receipt under our door! This is the second time we have stayed at the Lubbock Windsor Inn location and i think it was better this time than the last. I would recommend the BW Windsor Inn to anyone! A great stay! Best Western is the Best!

This was our last stop back home from our Sturgis trip. And we couldn't have been happier. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Coffee and juice was available 24 hours. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. And the staff was very friendly, outgoing, and extremely attentive. Even the owner of the hotel was on hand and extremely friendly. A special thanks to the staff: Makayla, Marcus, and the two Gloria's. You guys were great and made a great stay even better.

Michael at the Front Desk on the afternoon of August 6, 2016 has the worst customer service skills I have ever encountered. Our family of 5 booked a queen suite that sleeps 6. The reservation was under my husband's name. When we checked in, we were being charged extra for myself and 3 kids. We're supposed to pay per room per night, not per person. We asked for a manager, noone was there. We called customer service and nobody can help us. We asked to use AAA rate to offset the extra charge and Michaela said we have to book another reservation (while charging us still for the original reservation) because she cant edit exisiting reservations. She said it's because we made our reservation using Best Western system online - same system she's using at the FD. I dont see how she cant edit our reseevation. We expressed how disappointed we were with the customer service and she came back at us with "well you're not the best customer either" and "you need to leave." When I questioned why she was making us leave she said because she needs to wipe down the counter. I worked with a resort for 4 years and I know for one that reservations can be editted at any point in time by the FD or reservations agent before and during a customer's stay. In my years in hospitality, I have never seen anyone like Michaela. She does not have a customer service attitude, does not know how to work with a cistomer and needs to find a different line of work, at least and definitely not in the Front Desk. You dont want an employee like Michaela in your front lines. You will lose loyal customers. I dont mind paying extra, it is what it is, but with people like Michaela, it doesnt make it worth the money for your customers.

Our room was clean and the staff was friendly. Our biggest issue at this particular hotel was that our king bed had a groove in the middle and we kept rolling into each other all night. Neither of us slept well and woke up with body aches. The bed was the only bad part of this room.

We asked for a quiet room and they gave us a room in the back of the building. Never heard a sound from the road. The hotel was clean and the room was well appointed. There were also plenty of plugs! Check in and check out were quick and the Internet was reliable. Breakfast was the standard fare but the coffee was better than most. There was picante sauce and cheese to add to eggs and three different fresh fruits. Much appreciated. Plenty of restaurants in the area. We enjoyed the Copper Caboose.

My travel to the Best Western Plus Lubbock Windsor Inn was a last minute arrangement. However, the service I received was anything but last minute. I opted for a late check-in and was greeted with exceptional customer service from the front desk attendee. My check-in was expedited because the front desk person knew I was checking in late and took the initiative to have my card keys programmed. She said that she anticipated that I would be tired from my drive and wanted my check-in to be quick, allowing me to immediately go to my room and rest. This kind of customer service is why I keep coming back to Best Western. They not only take the time to provide exceptional service but do so on an individual basis. Thank you Best Western!

Front desk clerk was very friendly and efficient on checking in. She had several clients and was able to multitask and made sure everyone was handled professionally. She recommended dinner delivery options for us. We settled on Chinese and it was as good as she said. Pool was nice and clean. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We didn't stay for breakfast. Overall great experience.

Do not go to this hotel or if you already there, please check your bill before you leave and have them check room before you check out. I am still fighting to get the $200 back they charged me, saying we smoked in room and we did not. They did not show this charge when I checked out, but low and behold I checked my account and they charged it afterwards. They said it is non smoking and I knew this from beginning. My daughter came to visit and stayed couple of nights with me and her brother. She is a heavy smoker but i made sure she went outside of the hotel, even at night to smoke. What the hotel staff smelled was the smoke from her clothes and not from us actually smoking in room. Neither me or my 14 year old son smoke.. Corporate is not doing a thing because it is individually owned and operated. I have filed a complaint with the local BBB and disputing charge with my bank, so I am fighting them at every angle. Now it is not about the money, they already got it but it is principle of the thing. If you have someone in your party that smokes and they go outside to smoke and come back into room, be warned you are going to be hit with a $200 smoking charge. They even told corporate they cannot prove actual smoking was done, just the odor was noticed. We stayed here almost a week and they got almost $500 from me for that, They have to hit me for another $200 bogus smoking charge. Be warned people, do not go to this hotel period or god knows what charges they will try and trump up and put on your card!!

Our reception was very welcoming with ice cold infused water waiting for us in lobby. It was 108 degrees outside Motel did not seems to be that appealing from outside but it was nice inside, room was nice and well decored. Pool was a plus. we will recommend this to all.

Getting run down and not keeping property up. My Key had to be activated every time I came to my room. I Had to wait at desk for over 15 minutes late at night. Had to wait and show ID each time I came to my room which was on the 2nd floor at the end of the hall. Was very inconvenient late at night and then have to wait for someone to fix your key. Find another hotel.

Had to attend the orientation at Texas Tech University, I always choose Best Western as I am a rewards member and get very good rates when choosing to stay at any location. This is one of the best hotels for an excellent price. Very clean and quiet. Secure access even from other outside doors. I would recommend this hotel.

Hotel is completely unwilling to refund the room charge for a mistake that my travel agency made. Do yourself a favor and avoid staying here. I have stayed here once before and felt that although the beds were comfortable, the daily rate for this hotel was a bit high for the cheap breakfast and low-end furnishings encountered. In a long-running debate with the manager, she told me this motel normally gets $199 a night when oil prices are not so low. I have stayed at luxury hotels in big cities for that amount of money. I received no further response. It is unfortunate my travel agent made this mistake, and I wonder if my previous debate with this manager might have had anything to do with her decision to keep my money as a result of the reservation error. I will be escalating this matter as high as I can go. Please consider not staying at this location.

First, the hotel is in front of some sketchy apartments that you hear radios and screaming all night. Upon check in, they were not helpful at all. I am a Diamond member and was advised that points could not be utilized which was fine. However the uncaring attitude and the unwillingness to accommodate someone that stays over 150 nights a year at a Best Western was lacking. The amenities in the Fitness were all broken pretty much and the smell of Chlorine would choke anyone going in the pool area to even access the fitness area. The Breakfast or Lack of there of was sub par. This was a joke and do not believe the proximity to the college.. You can get better for the area and proximity if you are checking out the school.

At the end of a long, long road trip, it was nice to finally arrive at our last hotel and find the best of all. Clean, professional, safe, awesome breakfast and super friendly. The day we left, I discovered I had left a hand bag containing all of my emergency credit cards. I called Gloria and she told me the housekeeper had brought the bag to her. We returned the 200 ;miles and stayed another wonderfully pleasant night. As you might suspect, I have only the highest regard for this hotel and staff. The owners are as sweet and kind as you'll find while traveling. A great value.

We were coming home off a long road trip. After having to drive through the night the first night of the trip because we couldn't find a motel, we started calling ahead to the next town we were going to be in, from the road, to make a reservation to prevent a re-occurance. We had stayed in the Best Western near Mammoth Hot Springs in Gardiner, MT, and liked it, so we got a card with the 800 number for BW on it so we could call ahead for Lubbock on the way home. The woman I talked to on the 800 number was the most rude, condescending person I had talked to in a long time. It was obvious she wanted nothing more than to be off the phone with me from the moment she picked up. Due to this, when I finally managed to get the direct number to the front desk on the property, I called them to make sure our reservation hadn't been messed up. Sure enough, it had been. I ended up speaking to two different ladies at the front desk, who straightened everything out and couldn't have been nicer. We finally got to the hotel on our appointed day very late that night, and dealt with a very nice young man (I've been told his name was Mr. Marcos) who continued to straighten out the mess the woman at the 800 number had made, gave us a directory of BW properties so we could call any BW directly for future reservations, and did his level best to make sure my eight-year-old son's experience was a happy one. The room was clean and looked nice, bed was comfortable with enough pillows. Breakfast the next morning was good. The whole experience actually ON the property was great. Just watch out for crabby operators on the 800 number!

Had a very comfortable night stay. Breakfast was really good except for the scrambled eggs. They were so stringy and very dry. Nice selection of food. If I were traveling through this are again, I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again. That's all.

This hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and we enjoyed our stay. The pool water was cloudy so we chose not to swim as I like to be able to see the bottom of the pool. They also hand out tickets for breakfast when you check in and for a BW Plus the breakfast did not have as many options as some other BW that we have stayed at.

We were in town for a wedding. Not knowing the area very well we decided to stay with a brand we knew - BW. Needless to say we were not disappointed. It was a clean, well cooled room with a filling breakfast for a great price. Very close to everything we needed - The wedding venue, Buddy Holly Museum and Texas Tech.

Stayed here on 6/16/16 the first thing I noticed when I walked in the main entry was the smell of pets. I was aware that the hotel was pet friendly and required my room be as far away from any pet rooms as possible. My room was clean however the halls, breakfast and front desk areas don't smell very good. I wont be staying here again.

Basic clean and comfortable Best Western--nothing fancy but just what we needed! Good breakfast Easy to get to. Nice clean and comfortable rooms. We are Best Western Rewards members so this is our choice of hotel chain. i would stay here again. Very Nice Stay. Would recommend to future travelers. Staff was very helpful and nice. Hotel seemed to be a little old, but in very good condition. Indoor pool. Next time in town, I am planning on staying there.

We are traveling out west with our dog. This was one of very few hotels in Lubbock that will allow pets. There are specific pet-friendly rooms at this Best Western that have 2 Queens. Was hoping for a single King but that's ok. The floors do not have carpet which is understandable and fine. The room we stayed in was on the first floor at the end of the hall near the side exit which is convenient for getting the dog outside quickly. The con is that the noise of the door opening in closing constantly had our dog on alert. There are a few grassy areas around the parking lot for the dogs and a garbage can right by the door. In summary, perfectly average stay when traveling with a dog. Just wanted to share this for others who are looking for a pet-friendly hotel in Lubbock.

This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in!!!!!! The staff is not friendly or really even courteous. They roll their eyes when you ask for anything, even information. The rooms are dirty. The carpet is so dirty the bottom of your feet turn colors is you walk with bare feet. It is noisy. You could hear other doors slamming. You could also hear the guest above you walking around their room. The pool and hot tub were dirty, even after "cleaning" in the morning. The window covers do not close completely so a lot of light comes in at night. The morning front desk clerk is also responsible for the breakfast. This causes long wait for check out and no food sanitation. The clerk did not wash hands after being at the desk and then handling food. You could not see clearly out the windows because they were fogged over. The door to the room did not seal and there was a gap between it and the frame. This will allow smoke, fire, etc. to come in. They leave the express check out receipt stuck between the door and the outside of the door frame, with information about you like your name and address on it. Anyone walking down the hallway could read the information. We find it hard to believe that this is a Best Western property, let alone a Best Western Plus! We will not stay here again and we would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!!!

they will not accept rate from BW site, they will conduct a head count and charge $20 plus tax. our increase for 3 people $60 plus tax for a total of $90 more a night, i don't know where there is a 50% tax. bathroom is like 8x8 ft in a SUITE. rude non caring staff. Just go anywhere but here. Several nice places on either side you will enjoy better.

Apologize for all misunderstandings. Understand your frustration when travel agent booked the room for not enough people which ends up being charged for having extra people in the room. Hotel have very standard policy like any other hotel. There are no 50% taxes on anything in Lubbock. Please verify your receipt and you will find only 13% taxes. Thanks.

The staff was awesome! Got in late and they worked us in and super nice at midnight. The room was very clean. The Bed was very good cause we both slept great for a quick stop. I would stay here again if we stop here on our way through.

I feel this is a very good hotel, compared to other local offerings. I do feel the hotel prices are a bit high, for a place like this, but I was satisfied with the overall comfort of the hotel. The prices could be just because of the area.

Great value. Stayed here overnight en route to San Antonio. Super staff member at check-in, clean and comfortable room and the indoor pool was great for a little one to get out some energy after being cooped up in the car all day. Breakfast was terrific...good selection.

I stayed here with my dog on my way to visit family. The hotel was clean, nicely furnished, and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I especially like the wooden floors. I plan to stay here again on my way home and for future trips.

Staff was very friendly and helpful in recommendations for local and area places to eat and things to do. The rooms were comfortable and quiet on a one-way street. The treat was the Texas state shaped waffle in the morning breakfast buffet, what fun. There was plenty of hot and cold food choices on the buffet and replenished frequently.

This is a beautiful hotel. I loved that the room that we had was carpet free. They had a nice chair to sit in and the bed was very comfortable. Great breakfast. I would stay there again when I am in the area.

This facility has upgraded in the last several years. I still don't see it as a BW Plus property but progress has been made I do contend. I rented 3 rooms over graduation weekend here for family. Service was adequate but not stellar by any means. Amenities were stretched to the max and although they doubled the price of room rates for graduation, I certainly did not see any increase in either quality, service or value. Understandable but unfortunate.

Arrived here after 6 hours drive, and was met at the desk by a young lady named Leticia who made the check in so fast and simple for me. She got me checked in in minutes and made the process pleasant as it could be for me. My room was ready and completely stocked, comfortable bed, tv, everything i needed was there. Wi-Fi worked great, breakfast was fresh and hot and ready on time. If you are staying in lubbock this would be a great choice for a place to stay.

Hotel appeared to be remodeled inside. Would recommend new/different shower head. Room was less than $100 and included good hot breakfast. Room had microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator. No issues. Staff at front desk was very friendly. Would stay again.

Clean and convenient. Nice lobby and rooms. Breakfast was quiet loaded. Staff was as usual, usual smiles on faces. My stay was flawless, speed of internet was satisfactory compare to other hotels. I will stay again when I am in the city.

Reserved several rooms for Family members coming into town for a Funeral Service. Everything worked out perfectly.. We had people staying 1 or 2 or 3 nights and they kept it all straight, very accommodating.

They seemed to not have their laundry management up to speed. There were never enough pool towels (we had our 3 grand kids & chose this hotel for it's indoor pool) & had to use our room towels, then took a long time to get new room towels. Our room never got cleaned & we had trash stacked up. We tried to be as nice and patient as we could & the staff responded nicely, but still felt they were either understaffed or poorly managed. The "fitness" room in in desperate need of an overhaul. The equipment was broken & rickety...again, my husband likes to work out in the AM & chose this hotel because it had great photos of the "fitness" room.

Hotel was nice enough, but the free breakfast was awful. There wasn't enough food for the guests. Only one worker to try and keep up with putting more food out. There wasn't enough room in dining area for all the guests to sit and eat. Don't bother on trying to get the free breakfast, not worth it. We went out to eat.

We were here for one night on our way to Austin. We just needed a break from driving, so were fine with something not centrally located. The staff was incredibly friendly at check-in. Our room was a handicap accessible room, so not sure if that had anything to do with the awkward bathroom. The shower head is tucked into the corner of the shower (instead of in the middle), so its awkward to get under it - you have to squeeze into the corner. Also, the spigot was completely detached from the wall - I don't think this caused any issues using it or any danger, but it certainly wasn't intended to be that way. The room had a microwave, fridge, huge bed, plus a comfy recliner in the corner. The A/C was more than adequate (though a bit loud). Wifi download speeds were decent but uploading was a bit slow. The room was initially missing a hair dryer, which was obviously supposed to be mounted to the wall. When I asked at the front desk, she ultimately handed me a wall unit, complete with a long nail sticking out of the back. The dryer worked fine, but I'm glad I noticed the nail before putting it through my hand.

This location wasn't walking friendly, but the hotel was cleaner and more helpful staff than the Best Western in Port Lavaca. We left the hotel before breakfast so we don't know if they had the same type of cockroaches in the waffle batter as the Port Lavaca BW did or not.

Rooms are clean and well-appointed. Pet friendly rooms are a plus and Leticia at the front desk was pleasant and efficient. I tried to buy a bottle of water but neither the vending machines or the front desk would accept a credit or debit card, only cash. That was the only issue we encountered. Would absolutely stay again... after we stop at an ATM.

The staff was very helpful in checking in a large number of students arriving at different times. I was impressed with the hotel especially based on the price. I had 35 students with me on two buses and in two vehicles. The staff was great in getting everyone a key as they arrived.

Hotel was quick HWY access to TTU campus. Hotel was older, but reasonably priced for purpose of visit. Hot breakfast good and has in door pool and hot tub. Rooms comfortable and spacious. Need to drive to get to most restaurants in town.

A pleasant find in the Texas panhandle. I'd never been to that part of Texas before and needed a place to stop for the night. I saw the BW sign, pulled off the interstate and checked in. Easy access to I-27, so it's a great location for travelers. Very helpful night clerk personnel with computer issues I faced. Breakfast offered a good variety of options. The indoor pool looked enticing but I did not jump in. Express check out was a breeze. If you're ever passing through the Texas panhandle and need a place to stop for a night (or longer), I heartily recommend the BW Plus in Lubbock.

Stayed here for one night. The hotel was clean and comfortable but basic. There was someone playing loud music close by that could be heard in the room at 11:00pm. Reasonably priced and right off the interstate. It sufficed but I would probably try somewhere else on my next trip.

Leticia and Macaela checked us in with a friendly, rapid, professional manner. We were on our way to room 232 in just a few minutes. When we entered the room however, we were disappointed to find a portable AC unit running to cool the space. And a few minutes later we heard several noisy, overactive children across the hall in 233 and 235. We immediately returned to the desk and asked to be moved to a different room. Macaela, along with Leticia, promptly offered room 222 down the hall and away from the noisy herd of children. They searched the ground floor for rooms as well but recommended the upper floor as being quieter. That was good advice. Room 222 was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. It is so refreshing to have friendly, professional staff that handles problems without the increasingly usual "Sorry, no other rooms are available." attitude. Both ladies are a credit to this property. The breakfast area staff were friendly and helpful as well. We really did not care for the available pork sausage links. The taste was OK but the links were not browned and had an "uncooked" look although I knew they were fully cooked. If there is any to brown these links before serving it should be done. The other breakfast items were acceptable.

It was a very convenient location to downtown Lubbock. It was clean with very comfortable rooms & beds. Chocolate chip cookies on arrival & nice morning breakfast. Staff was very friendly. It was reasonably priced and well maintained. There are many lower priced accommodations nearby that are run down. Nice tv in room with good channel selection. I would definitely stay again.

Won't be back. I'm hoping it was just a isolated incident, but after the 2nd room, we asked for a refund and left. I only give 2 room chances, as sometimes things just happen with the first room. Hotel was new, so everything was clean and staff was happy. Price was good. Breakfast was good, had a lady making eggs to order, plus the normal fare. negative - only one elevator in the hotel, always had long wait. The lighting in the room was not great, some of the bulbs/lamps were not working.

I always stay here on business, at least twice a month, they always remember me, and make me feel like I am coming home. The rooms are always clean and quiet, and the breakfast is Awsome! I love the workout facilities and indoor pool. The parlor is comfortable and did I mention the free super fast Wi-Fi? all in all, I pay more in other cities for the same here, so the value is second to none.

Rooms are clean; staff is pleasant. Full breakfast was served and hot. Indoor pool was very cold and windows were open and breezy. Did not swim but the hot tub was nice. Convenient to interstate and some restaurants. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot in room.

The rooms at this hotel are near luxurious with a king bed and couch. This a good value compared to some of the Hilton and Marriot listings. Very good beds. Friendly staff. Some of the better restaurants nearby-BJ's, Chuys, Saltgrass Steakhouse

Check in staff was awful! She did not listen to what was said and it was apparent she did not want to be at work. Bed pillow had a piece of tape stuck to the pillow case. (not sure how it got there if the sheet were clean???)

This is a very nice hotel with wonderful customer service. The hotel is conveniently located within a few miles of several nice restaurants. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The Internet worked great. I will definitely stay here again when returning to Lubbock.

I have stayed in a few places and looked at others in Lubbock, Best Western was a good compromise on cost and location. Most hotels in western Texas are awful. This Best Western had very nice and friendly staff, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the wifi worked pretty well except during the 5-8 pm hours when everyone is on it at once. Skip the breakfast, you will be glad you did.

Absolutely loved our stay: enjoyed the stable Internet connection and the clean gym. The breakfast was well-selected and there was something for everyone (fruit and yogurt for me, or freshly made waffles for a hearty breakfast). Will stay there again if we go that way again.

Stayed here twice over a ten day period. The staff was very accomodating and,friendly. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Im a business traveler and clean is super important to me. The beds & linens were clean, fresh and comfy. Couldnt ask for more on an overnight stay.

We had reservations on 2/9/16 to stay at this hotel. We were unable to travel due to a medical emergency. I called to cancel our reservation at 4:14 pm and was told that the charge was non-refundable but that I could contact Gloria at the hotel today to discuss a refund. My boyfriend felt he was having a heart attack and we spent the afternoon in the emergency room. I can provide proof of this. I called to speak with Gloria today to discuss a refund. We stay at this hotel every December and some other times as well. I do not know the name of the woman I spoke with today, but she was very difficult to understand with heavily accented English, and she would not even entertain the idea of a refund. She accused me of not calling when I have the call log in my phone and can provide proof of the phone call. I would like to know how I obtained Gloria's name to contact today if I did not call yesterday afternoon. I will never stay at this hotel again and we travel through Lubbock frequently. The woman was rude and unaccommodating. I understand that the charge was non-refundable, but there were extenuating circumstances or I would not have called. I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company and will think twice about staying at any Best Western ever again. This hotel is old and the room smelled horribly of cigarette smoke when I stayed there in June of 2015. I do not feel that the way I was treated by the woman at the hotel was warranted. If Best Western wants to compete with other hotel chains, they need to re-think the way they treat rewards customers.

When we first arrived there was a housekeeping issue and my first thought was 'great, here we go' but as soon as we called the front desk the young lady was very helpful and professional. The rest of our stay was uneventful and we slept great. Breakfast was better than we'd had during the rest of our road trip. They had eggs, sausage, biscuits, bagels, waffles with hot syrup, and much more. Highly recommend!!

The only thing we did not like was even though this was a smoke free motel, the halls were full of smoke smell. One other thing that we wished was that the toilet paper and tissue were of a little better quality. Overall, these were not that big of deals.

"Terrible staff, very unprofessional"

After booking reservations over the phone, the very rude front desk attendant Gloria told me "um, nope, no reservations" and stared at me dumbly. I showed gave her my confirmation number, still "yeah, nope, dont see it." Proceeded to show her my confirmation email, her response was " I don't know what to tell you, I don't see it". Since I obviously was not getting any where with her I proceeded to call the 1800 # and got the reservations worked out myself. We went to swim, but the room was freezing and the water smelled foul. When I asked about it I got a "we keep it room temperature, and another I don't know about the smell. There was no breakfast left at 9:35 am and the same front desk clerk said they would be making no more, there were many other guests who did not get any breakfast either. I misplaced my glasses and asked her (Gloria, H. front desk) if anybody had turned them in, guess what response I got... "I don't know, you can go look were you think you left them." Then to top off the worst western stay they charged me a whopping $200.00 extra on my bill trying to accuse me of stealing the little 10¢ tray that you make coffee with! $200.00!! What's worse is I had told them it was missing already. It took many calls and frustrated conversations between myself and the staff to get that bogus charge removed, and do not count on the owners to contact you, because they never well. Do yourself a favor and do not stay at this place, the staff is rude and tell across to each other through the hallways. Pool room freezing and uncared for. And professionalism is non attainable at this hotel.

The hotel is simple yet elegant. Rooms were clean and all of the amenities were as per expectations. The support staff were very nice. I would absolutely stay there again. Breakfast was well stocked and there were plenty of choices to eat. The common area was clean and well maintained.

The hotel is clean and good enough. Has all the expected feaures. Had a hard time sleeping: - Refrigerator had continuous loud hum. Unplugged it. - Heater (set at 61 degrees) came on every few minutes for less than a minute throughout the night. - Mattress was softer than we like.

Stayed one night on way to Santa Fe. Located right on a freeway among a row of other hotels. Don't plan on walking anywhere. Pretty average Best Western. It's been refurbished but not recently. Nothing special about it, it's clean, modern, functional, decent bedding. Front desk staff was a bit curt, she had been on her personal laptop in the lobby when we came in so maybe she was in a hurry to get back to something there. The WIFI was very slow, and not due to high use, the hotel was almost empty. There was only lukewarm water available in the vanity sink, but hot in the shower. Go figure.. Breakfast had a good variety of selections and was well attended. Stayed because we're BW Rewards members, so we're familiar with BW's 3 hotel categories... this one isn't equal to other BW Plus hotels we've stayed in, A bit overpriced for the quality.

I travel as an entertainer and as such am budget conscious. This isn't the nicest hotel, but is always clean and has a very friendly staff. The newly remodeled room was a bonus. They have a nice lobby and the usual BW breakfast. I will stay here next year when I return for the same gig.

This review takes into account that there aren't many options in Lubbock that are budget friendly and in better neighborhoods. This hotel is located literally on I-27. As in, the service road for I-27 runs next to where you would park your car. Nice for easy in and out, but is loud and busy as well. The neighborhood all around the hotel was to me trashy and scary. The Koko Inn is behind this hotel (go read the reviews for the Koko Inn), and 1 minute down the street is a run down apartment complex as well. People were milling around the parking lot at night, so I was worrying about someone breaking into my car. The staff was okay, not overly accommodating and conveyed basic level of forced friendliness. Check in and out was more difficult than it should have been. The room cleanliness overall was decent. However, sheets had strange stains on them. I slept in my clothes. Bed was hard as a plank of wood and creaked and squeaked with every movement. Walls were thin and we could easily hear our neighbors talk, watch tv, snore. We easily heard the couple in the hallway arguing with each other at 5 am. Breakfast was ok with microwaved sausages and pre-mixed scrambled eggs along with standard muffins, toast, waffles. Took the shower 10 minutes for lukewarm water, no hot water. Towels were scratchy. Overall, my experience felt like an ongoing list of issues with this stay at this hotel. I rated it as average because there are really not many other options in Lubbock that won't break the bank.

We have many more items in our breakfast other than you mentioned such as biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, yogurts etc., which probably you missed.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast area is nice but a bit crowded if the hotel is fully booked. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Overall a nice stay and I would stay again. Rooms are a bit small if you have several people and two beds in the room

It was very difficult for us to move our daughter away from in front of the water wall in the lobby every time we pass thru lobby. It was eye catching mesmerizing feature, we took so many selfies. Our room had a nice seating area and nice high king bed. Cleaning was satisfactory considering motel, breakfast was delicious and full of varieties. I would spread good words for this business.

We were there for my niece's graduation, obviously the motel was full, we had no complains, our stay was good. saw rude customers arguing for not letting their pet stay in motel, staff was calm and courteous. Why can't people get the simple rule of business, employees are not the one making policy, and you making other customers in line wait because of lack of common sense. I would recommend this motel for sure.

We requested a King room on top floor in quiet area and scored the perfect room. We were tucked away in a far corner away from elevator, ice machine, vending, etc. Our bed was VERY comfortable and the room was clean. Desk clerk recommended a nice little steak house nearby for dinner that was not expensive but had a very good steak, cooked to perfection. Breakfast was eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruits, yogurts, juices and all was clean and in order. We'll be staying here again on our way back home. Think our stay was $92 so not very expensive.

I chose to stay at this particular property because of the positive past experiences at the Best Western Plus in Austin TX off Oltorf. This place was horrible. Second floor rooms are not for pets, but 1 am and next door a dog was barking. I called the front desk but noone answered. The room smelled of cat urine. 2 bars of soap and no other amenities, ie shampoo. Reservation for 4 people, enough towels for 3. Bathroom door handle came off in my hand, my husband fixed it as best as he could because after I reported it no one came to fix it. I have left a message for the manager, Mike, to call me everyday for the last 4 days, but he won't return my call. I asked for the mgr at check out to discuss the issues, I was told to call Monday and ask for Mike. The man at the front desk was consumed with another desk watching video footage from the night before trying to figure who stole the gentleman's car from the area you park at the front door to check in. Finally, I spoke with Gloria who said she is the front desk mgr. because she told me , again Mike was not there, and he wants to know why I keep calling. No folks, I'm not making this up!!! I explained the above issues, she was defensive and rude and said "If they decide to do anything, (I asked for a refund), they'll let me know through email" I asked for a prompt resolution and a phone call. She did ask why I didn't ask for a different room. I explained to her that at check in they had me in a less desirable room and I asked for a different room. They lady then gave me this room and told me there were no additional rooms available. Also, Gloria asked me why I didn't let anyone know about the dog barking at 1 am. I told her that I had tried but no one answered the phone at the front desk. Gloria replied, " Well I'll have to figure out who was working that night." Also, I went to the front desk to obtain: another set of towels, shampoo, air freshener that I was given and then had to return. At that time the door handle had come off in my hand and I told the front desk lady, who then told me, " Oh, I'll write it in the book."

We had an Emergency situation which required a hotel close to the University Medical Hospital in Lubbock, TX. My husband and I highly recommend this hotel which is only about 10 minutes away from the hospital. The hotel staff was excellent all the way from house keeping to the front desk, every one of the staff was courteous and professional. We will stay here again if ever we are in Lubbock again.

We have stayed at this motel many times on our way to South Padre Island TX. It is always clean, comfortable and friendly. It is so easy to get to and get back on the road. The rooms nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. It has severed us well as a place to stay after driving all day and having another full day of driving ahead of us.The breakfast was good with several different choices.

Just ok. The service was very friendly. The rooms were ok. The bathroom towels were ragged and should be thrown out. The breakfast was ok but the coffee awful. Would not stay here again. Located on high traffic area so if you book a room make sure you are at the back to avoid traffic noise.

hotel is off of interstate and easy to in and out. Room is fairly nice. Staff little slow at check in. Breakfast was full of people in the morning. They have a laundry room for customers, which was convenient for us for being on road for 2 weeks. Staff was useful every possible way. We will stay here again.

I stay here every month, because of the service and value for my dollar. The Breakfast is incredible, there is something for everyone and when they say Full Breakfast, they mean it. The room was very clean and neat, the bed seemed new, there was no sag in the mattress. the bedding was fresh and smelled like it had just come out of the drier. very good value for the money.

I checked into this hotel 11/13-11/14. I had the worst experience as I was up at 4am due to bed bugs biting me. I called front desk right away and they told me all rooms were fully booked. Understandably so due to all events that weekend. In the morning when I talked to the manager she told me they could not refund me since I reserved through third party. However manager asked for pictures which I sent to her. Called the 3rd party I reserved the hotel through and I was given a claim number and told me someone will follow up with me which I'm still waiting on someone to contact. Definitely don't recommend this place to anyone looking to get some sleep, have photos and videos for this.

Neither Exterminators nor any other guests stayed in the same room following days find anything wrong to support your claim. Most of the times guests brings bitten body from their outdoor activities that evening and blame it on the hotel. Hope you are feeling better now and look for real cause what made you wake up at 4 am.

We had been driving all day and this was a welcome respite. We arrived and were immediately welcomed by Sierra and she was so understanding and helpful. She made the checkin process so pleasant and quick too. There were lots of amenities like a spa and indoor pool and free breakfast the next morning. We had express checkout and there were free newspapers at the desk. The room had a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee/tea maker. The iron and ironing board were there in the closet if we had needed them too. Everything was spotless and great value for our money. It is right off the highway but that is what we needed since we didn't know the area and we had to continue driving the next day. The location did not interfere with our sleep either- good soundproofing. I would stay here again in an instant and will definitely stay at other Best Westerns in the future because of my stay at the Best Western Windsor Inn in Lubbock TX

The last hotel we stayed at was in Gallup, New Mexico and not very good experience. This best western offered good customer service day and night. The breakfast was average items you typically expect. Our room faced the away from the road and was very clean. Typical amenities you expect from this chain. I did like the express check out because we had to reach Dallas in the evening. Thanks for the value

This place was comfortable and the price was good for what we needed. The pool was clean the staff was friendly and breakfast was good. We were there for a regional track meet. The front of the parking lot was under construction but over all it was a good place. Cleaning staff should dust off the room a little better but was ok.

I am very picky about where I stay and how the things I expect in return of my money. I am very happy to end up staying at this motel. Staff was very personal caring and very good listeners. Room was quite loaded with items you need to spend night. Breakfast was not the greatest but enough to hit the road. I recommend the motel to travelers but if you looking for resort kind a hotel, not for you.

I always enjoy staying here. The staff are always Texas friendly and the coffee is always hot. The WiFi has always worked great which is important to me for my job. The rooms are nicely sized and comfortable and clean. There is a good work station in every room with a comfortable chair. They proudly fly the flag out front and when it starts getting a little tattered they replace it. Overall just a good clean place to stay when your traveling.

Took a break for the night on my way from Denver to San Antonio. Relocating can be stressful. The bed was awesome, so comfortable. The front desk was efficient and professional. I was traveling with pets. No hassle with accommodations. Breakfast was awesome. So much food to choose from.

We arrived very tired got checked in quickly. Our room was very nice loved the couch! The tub was a little old looking and the room a little dusty but very nice! A bigger tv for a big room would be very nice! The breakfast was very good loved the hot fresh waffles and my husband loved the sausage links and eggs, biscuits were a little soggy but over all great!

Visiting my son Trent at Tex Tech. it was clean, neat, well-maintained. We wanted for nothing in the breakfast, TV entertainment, accessories for the bath and coffee, and in the area of towels and pillows as well. AC worked well, the hot water was plentiful, noise in the hall was little or acceptable.

Tried this location on a recent business trip to Lubbock. Great price for what I needed for two nights. Every bit as good and better as some other brands I have used in this market. Front desk staff was very nice.
