Nasty room they gave me and my family... I would never stay again..bed look as if someone already had slept in it pillows were not acceptable... And for what they charge wow....room should have been cleaner than that ....had black hair strands in our sink on our pillow cases...room was not acceptable to my wife and kids....would not advise u to stay unless u gonna clean behind the nasty housekeepers

The staff was very friendly with a quick check in after a long day of driving. Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Only minor issue was to change curtain style to better adjust the curtains to block parking lot light. We were able to move the curtains around to do this and not a big deal.

the room was very clean and so was the bathroom which is VERY important! The bed and pillows were wonderful which made my sleep great! to me what I wrote is very important for any hotel besides safety.

The hotel needs an upgrade in a few way. The room was clean, The business center was closed, The front desk clerk was not very helpful. The breakfast was nice and hot. Outside grounds was clean and will manicured.

I travel for work and stay in hotels on average 96 times per year. This is definitely the lowest in the list. The mattresses are so worn out that you can actually feel the springs all night. Having had to stay here on multiple occasions, I can tell you, it's with all of the mattresses. The breakfast is the exact same everyday. Watery eggs, microwaved rubber sausage patties, make your own waffles and a selection of toast. It's not good. Don't plan on watching TV before bed or while getting ready. Every other station has a blue page that says channel is unavailable at this time and some channels are permanently muted. As for the positives, the staff has always been very nice and attentive. There is always ample room for parking as this hotel never fills up.

This was BY FAR the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The carpet was filthy, the shower tub had hair on the floor and there was enough dirty nasty hair on the bathroom floor to make a wig. It would be virtually impossible to miss the amount of hair on the floor. The table between the beds had smudge and was dirty AF! Trust me find the local dump,bring a pillow and THAT would be cleaner that this Sh!! Hole.

The Hotel was good for the price the staff were very kind and happy to help. I went with my family the rooms were comfy and once again the price was good, I'd say over average but be warned there is no food that exit besides a subway and a McDonalds if you want a sit down meal be prepared to travel

A clean pleasant place to stay. Nothing fancy but I was there to get a nights sleep and I had no problem getting a good night sleep. Breakfast was decent, the staff was helpful the couple times I interacted with them. Overall it was a good experience. I'd stay there again if I was in the area and needed to stay in a hotel.

Hotel was convenient to our route on our trip. We usually stay at Best Westerns. It was not as nice as some, but a little nicer than the one Florence. There are no restaurants nearby other than the truck stop next door. Reservations made ahead, so check in and check out went smoothly. Front desk staff was not as friendly as other places. Nothing extra was offered like other BW's because of our rewards status either. Room was okay, but mattress was worn out.

Tammy who answered our call and checked us in provided a welcoming experience. She was very helpful and friendly. We arrived for a late check-in in and she anticipated our needs and had everything ready. She made all the difference

Nice room. Staff went out of the way to exceed our expectations. Jacuzzi room with a king bed was spacious and clean. The walls were a little thin. (the neighbor loked to sleep with the TV on, but we managed.

We have never driven back from FLORIDA but we needed to have a halfway point from FLORIDA to NJ and this was the place... never felt so warmly greeted from the staff. Tammy the front desk women made sure that the breakfast was ready for us even though we got out at 5 am.. OMG what great client services. She was so nice personal and inspirational. I wish I had a hundred employees like her.

If you have small children, this hotel is not for you. I was on the third floor and the window opens easily without any safety measures installed. It opens far enough for someone to fall or trip out of. The pool door can be pushed to open, no latch or any other safety measures to keep kids out. There was never any pool towels in the pool area. The breakfast was awful! The room was average.

We stayed in The Best Western in Latta, SC January 8, 2023. We have stayed here a number of times before. We checked in and were given a room in the back. We requested a room in the front so we could see the car from the window. I went back to the front desk and asked to have the room changed. We were given room #213 with 2 queen beds. I asked if we could have a King size bed like we paid for. The lady said there was none available. But there was only 1 car in the parking lot. The next morning we went down for breakfast. It was 7am. Only 1 person in the dining room. There was nothing out the young lady was starting to set things up. The eggs were cold. I made a waffel. No bread out . No fruit of any kind. My husband had cold eggs with no bread. We asked for napkins she said they had none. I asked if they had a water fountain and she said it did not work. So sad to see this place get so bad. PS. The shower was broke it was shooting water on the ceiling. I did tell them at the desk but nothing was done. ireland711@optimum.net

While travelling down Highway 38 a deer hit our car. Lucky for us it was just down the road from the Best Western. The manager on duty was very accommodating, even called the police for us to make a report I had a room ready for us within a half hour even though it was not the official check-in time and we had no reservation. The staff is very friendly, helpful and polite. Even allowed us to sit in lobby hours after checkout and wait while mobile unit repaired our broken windshield. Best hotel experience ever!!

This hotel is very old and tired. With some sprucing up and classes in hospitality for the staff it could be so much better. Lots of door slamming by other guests and a herd of elephants wa sin the room above us marching after midnight, Skip the free breakfast and go next door to Duncan Donuts or McDonalds. Would not stay again

Staff was great. Room and bathroom were okay. As in other reviews, did not think the hotel was out dated - just not modern. Wanted a clean and quiet pace to stay; it filled the bill. Breakfast was usual fare - scrambled eggs from mix, bacon and sausage apparently precooked and heated, only fruit was bruised bananas. Can't speak for amenities as don't use them. Was a fair stay for the price.

Hotel was convenient to I-95 and gas stations. Front desk was very courteous and helpful both in the evening check-in and morning check-out. A hot breakfast was available, but the waffle station was not operable on the date that we were there. Other than that, we had adequate food available. The floor of our room was tiled because we have a small dog that travels with us, and there was a charge ($20) for the dog. The floor was very clean.

The furnishing in the common areas in this facility need to be replaced. The sofa and chairs in the breakfast area need to be replaced they are beyond cleaning. Other furnishing in the room needs to be replaced. The location is good for a stay when on the road which is why we stopped.

Staff was very friendly , our room was very clean and we felt very safe We had a coffee which is complimentary and was very good ,although we did not stay for breakfast The hotel does offer complimentary breakfast with your stay. Over all it was great experience.

Stayed over after the NASCAR race and were very pleased. comfortable bed but the TV screen was very small. The lighting in the bathroom could have been better, and the shower head in the tub was not adjustable.

The price point for this hotel was great and worth driving a bit further north from Florence SC on I 95. All of the staff/associates were very nice and especially to a lady in housekeeping named Rachel.

This convenient motel right off I-95 was easily accessible, but unfortunately the room next to ours was extremely noisy with 2 people talking loudly to each other at 12:30 AM for about 1 hour despite requesting the front desk to ask them to lower their noise. The noise only stopped when one of the people next door to us left that room to go back to their own room.

Had to go for my Uncles wake and Funeral. Staff and place was friendly and very clean. Staff knew I was driving long distance and was very helpful for early checkin. Staff was amazing, friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

We received a genuine “welcome” upon arriving at this clean and comfortable hotel. The room was immaculate, the bed comfy and we got just the rest we needed to be on the road the next day. We would definitely stay, again!

Mattresses were horrible. If they would upgrade matresses this place would be nice. They require guest to wear gloves in breakfast area but staff does not wear them. Thete is a pilot store near by but not much else. Stop in Florence, SC more hotel choices

We stopped here to break up our ride to Georgia . This Best Western seemed kinda new and is well kept. The Friendly staff ,clean rooms ,lobbies bathrooms and the 24 hr coffee and tea. were greatly appreciated after a long ride. Located right near a McDonald's, Subway, Dairy Queen, and Gas Station. Great for a refill of gas ,quick bite , bed and back on I 95. Hotel provides a list of recommended restaurants in the area if you want to venture out for more. Breakfast had a nice assortment of hot and cold items. Not much more around this hotel, but excellent for overnight easy off/ on for I95 Priced better than nearby Dillion S.C

hotel was cleaner then most hotels we stayed at .Convenient location to major freeway. Not to many places to eat in the area Breakfast was decent with lots of choices including hot items. Staff was friendly.

So much noise from lobby! Doors must be thin. Website said pool but when we arrived it was closed. Pool room didn't look very clean anyway. Person at reception said I should have asked about the pool when I made the reservation!

Rooms were clean and large for the price. Service was swift and helpful. Breakfast included waffles and a number of other things. I would definitely stay here again as this was one of the best BEST WESTERNS that we have ever stayed in.

This was a great place to stay! Staff was extremely friendly. Also, housekeeping was very thorough cleaining and sanitizing the rooms! Hot breakfast included in the stay which included hot waffles, sausage, eggs and sausage gravy.

Very nice and clean, and friendly. Would travel to stay again. Felt safe in nice area. Nice and quiet. Just and overall nice place to stay. I was very surprised how clean it was. By far one of the best places I have stayed.

Everything was great; clean room, reasonable price, friendly staff, and full hot breakfast. We were traveling with a pet and requested a specific room. The front desk made sure the room was available for us and our check in was quick and easy. Couldn't have asked for more!

Staying overnight on the way to the beach we decided to change hotels and come to this Best Western. After Talking with Renee I quickly decided this was the place for us. Though close to I-95, our stay was quiet and restful. Our room was very clean as was the bathroom which was important. Renee gave us an excellent rate and made every effort to be sure everything was taken care of including a place to park our boat. The breakfast was was well stocked and everything kept in order. I initially missed the sign to wear gloves when getting my food (it should be posted in a place where it cannot be missed) but we enjoyed the food. Plenty of room to sit and relax with an excellent breakfast! We will return here next year! Thanks Renee and Best Western!

Driving south and got stuck in traffic. Pulled over to a gas station to fill up and decided to use that time to look for a hotel room. It was 10p. All online were considered unavailable. But I decided to take the risk to check out the hotel right next door to the gas station even though it was all booked out online. The lady was very friendly but mentioned there were some cancelations online. So there was a room available for 191$ with tax included. I debated. But didn't want to keep driving. Especially with all the hotels online booked heading south. So I paid. The last hotel I was in the night before was beautiful for 121$. It was like brand new! But that was also far north in the opposite direction. (Hampton by Hilton in Woodbridge va) I asked if there if a indoor pool. They said yes. I paid. Btw pool closes at 10 and was cold! the room was not as nice as the one night before. Lots of stains! I am also pretty sure this hotel carries welfare families who are in line for section 8 housing. The people walking in were very homeless looking with bags full of groceries and tons of cigarettes. At one point I had to run to my car for some toiletries. There was a old woman smoking. I struggled getting my key into the side door. She proceeded to tell me the door never locks. But to keep my door locked at all times. That scared me. I'm still here. I'm too scared to pull the sheets off the mattress. Also. I have to say. This is the most expensive hotel I've ever paid for. And in the top unpleasant rooms ever. Apparently my photos have a problem uploading to show the stains.

Not bad for a day or two...business travel. Near I95. Quiet for the most part. Staff were okay. Parking lot is small. Only one elevator for your use. Don't expect to use the pool in the mornings, though!

The room was clean but a bit shabby and dated. The TV was very blurry and ancient and needs to be replaced. At this price point a watchable TV is expeccted. The paper bag breakfast was a very cheap version of what is the required based on the rules of the times.

Good stop on the road to disney world. Was the right place to stop on the way down. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had two beds which gave us lots of room. The room was spacious.

The staff was professional and such a pleasure to during my trip. I would definitely visit this location again. My room was clean and we had no complaints. I would definitely recommend this location to others in the area.

Great hotel, poor location. In this day and time, some would love to have the luxury of ordering food via the multiple applications out there. This hotel however was in a location where none of apps were servicing.

No staff wear masks. Why risk their own health and that of their customers? Breakfast to go was two prepackaged high carb muffins, a granola bar, water and a green orange. Room was ok, although the beds only have a thin blanket and tiny, hard polyester pillows.

Unfortunately many hotels say they are pet friendly but charge $75-100 per night for a pet--not so friendly. But the Best Western in Latta, SC only charged $20 with a refundable $50 deposit (which I didn't mind paying). They had a HUGE area as a dog walk away from the road and traffic--big enough we could play fetch the ball with our weimaraner which gave him a chance to run a bit. Our only complaint was they had 4 hard foam pillows on the bed, but not one of them soft enough to get comfortable. Could use a bit of a variety. Otherwise, no complaints.

I just want to let Dale, one of the front desk clerks know that she and Mr. Hughes and family are truly angels sent by God. Me and my four children who are 13, 11 and twins that are 10 hit a deer which totaled my car. God told me to keep going where I met one angel of which took us to the best western in Latta. Then the next morning I met the second angel who happened to work the front desk there. I want everyone to know she made the short time in that area comfortable under the circumstances. The room was great and the service was wonderful but the employees made it great! Dale you are amazing!!!!!! She made sure I didn't miss Thanksgiving with my family!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!

This hotel was super great. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and glad to have us. The hotel was super clean and our room was spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows. Don't even get me started about the water pressure in the shower. Amazing!. Thanks for a great place to stay on our way to Virginia.

If you like eating at gas stations, this is your exit. Minimal employees on duty here as in one at all times. Pet friendly means first floor with thin ceilings and walls and a midnight employee that makes more noise in the lobby than a bunch of drunk women. Moderate freeway noise even with wall AC running. South Carolina unfortunately has only one hospitable exit and it's Florence.

This motel is called Best Western for a reason. The staff are all 10'S in my book. The rooms were very clean and they put us on the bottom floor and that was great for us with our dogs. Whether you have pets or not, I would recommend this motel for anyone wanting to stay in are around Latta, South Carolina. The staff are all friendly, helpful, and very nice people. I will be back someday.

Traveling across country for business stopped for a rest. The staff at night checked me inn. I give her cash but she gave the cash back using my rewards perks without my permission. Then upon check out. I was asked to pay the full amount for night stay. In which I gave overnight clerk money for cash. I explained they need better staff and management. I been Bestwestern member for years plantium. So I know everything about my amount. I was not greeted with amenity points or check out assured of the issues that were caused. I feel because the staff mistake I should not had to pay if I already paid upon arrival. The hotel was very nice just missed management of staff and mangers. I will not be returning. When traveling back.

Booked my room for an extra night, and when I returned to the room later that evening all of my things were missing. Rather than doing the sensible thing and bringing my stuff downstairs, the cleaning service either stole or threw away more than $500 worth of my belongings. The people at the lobby that I spoke to even told me that they saw where I had booked my room for another night, so I'm not sure why the cleaning service was not informed. I also had a privacy sign on my door so that it wouldn't be disturbed, but apparently they chose to ignore it and come in anyways. Nothing was turned in to the front desk or returned. Needless to say, I will NOT be booking a hotel with Best Western again.

Friendly employees like Ranee made our day. From her cheerful smile & caring way along with recommending a great take out restaurant & bringing replacement light bulbs was just outstanding service! This is a clean, affordable, well maintained and quiet choice for overnight stays. Highly recommended!

This lovely BW is located right off I-95, but amazingly quiet, and we felt safe and comfortable. From the pleasant confirmation of our reservation by phone with Christian, to the warm welcome received from Lakilia at checkin, and the proud smile at breakfast from Cheryl who kepped the complimentary breakfast area stocked to the General Manager Roy who checked us out and was asking for feedback, this is a lovely team of happy faces. The hotel was very clean, and I appreciated a jug of hand sanitizer on the checkin ledge. I like their choice of Argan Oil Complex soap and amenities which smelled lightly of coconut. I also appreciated Lakilia's offer of coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice available 24/7. Our bathroom was very clean, and we appreciated the tub rail. Our bed was soft and comfy and we rested well in the quiet. I did use their business center to print, and it worked fine. We were impressed with the French Oast at breakfast, had not seen that before at BW, and sanitizer there as well. This hotel is located next to a nice PILOT station which was very cheap, $1.95/gal last week, and had a nice Dairy Queen and Wendys, also clean and nice. This was a perfect stop for us on the way home. Nice job, Best Western!

Very nice hotel,large room with great lighting. Roy, the night clerk had a great sense of humor and was very helpful and pleasant. Juice, coffee and tea all 24 hours/day. There was a bad odor in room refrigerator so we wrapped our leftovers extra well so the odor would not transfer. Upper door bolt was broken. Smaller flat screen TV was fuzzy,analog channels, shower fine, bed was softer but comfortable, average hot breakfast but no express checkout.

My family and I have stayed at this particular property in latta sc several times and was satisfied. We even booked it for our family reunion last year in 2019.this stay was horrible in February of 2020 .I almost got into a physical altercation with two men in front of my wife and son.the hotel was extremely loud where as we could not rest at night and to top it off we woke up with water dripping down from the ceiling in our room.so not happy

Exceptionally friendly staff to deal with. The hotel was very clean and provided a great nights sleep. The bed was very comfortable and provided a great nights sleep. Would definitely stay again or recommend if in the area.

Upon check in i don't remember the young ladies name that checked me in but she was what customer service should be. She's a Grade A employee. Respectful always smiled during the whole process very engaged with me being satisfied.

We were very pleased with this hotel. It's clean, comfortable, quiet. Breakfast included hot and cold options including fruit and yogurt. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The room refrigerator had thick ice in freezer but that's the only negative we noticed. We would stay there again.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. It is half way between NY and Fla. We will definately stay again in our travels. It is located next to a truck stop with food, convenience store and gas for every traveler. This added benefit does not take away from the hotel. It is not a noisy atmosphere outside. We did not explore the area, not much around. It was all location, location, location. The BW was a clean hotel where the employees and the facilities met all expectations for my husband and I as travelers.

We stayed overnite while visiting our family in Marion, SC. One of the 2 hotels nearest our relatives. Glad we have this hotel in this area or we would have to styay in Florence or farther away. The room given to us this time was a lot bigger that the one we had during our first time stay in this hotel. The room was very clean and the linens and towels were sparkling white. Everybody was very helpful. Not much selection for breakfast but for the price we paid it was reasonable. Maybe more fresh fruits.Sleep quality was average for us because one of the bed in the room the mattress was uneven. I will definitely come back to this hotel! And recommend this to my friends!

My boyfriend and I were traveling up from FL on 95 and this was right off the highway being super convenient. The price was outstanding for what we got, the staff were sweet and very accomadating and our room was clean, no issues.

our third time staying here. twice this year and will be staying here again in two weeks. property is clean but some of the interior is starting to show age (carpeting, shower curtains). never an "ugh" moment here. rooms are a nice size and beds are comfy.

Only choice at this exit.Usually has a room even in busy season. Cheeper then motels more south.It has a good pool. Good route to Myrtle Beech. Hotel relatively new.Less than a mile off I-95.Quiet rooms because it is just far enough off the interstate.

This is the third time I've used this hotel and will be returning on my next round-trip from NY to FL. Everyone was so nice and polite. We left before breakfast started so the delightful desk clerk made us both to-go breakfasts for the road. Since we had our cat, we rented a pet-friendly room. It was immaculate. No odors, no animal hairs, etc. My only wish is that they replace the four undersized pillows for two full-size ones.

Nice clean hotel with a great breakfast (hot and cold). Good price and just off hwy 95. Only a couple of fast food restaurants but because the area is rather quiet, we will have a great good sleep on the comfortable bed.

I always enjoy staying at a BW. This one did not disappoint. We were very late checking in, but there was no problem getting the room we needed. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional Breakfast was handy and I'm sorry I didn't get to use the pool this trip..

Hotel is clean and very accessable. Staff is friendly and willing to help if possible. Room was clean however, the mattress needs replacement. Otherwise, my stay was great. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Spent five nights so I feel I can speak with some extra insight. First...I love the pool, just warm enough but not too warm for hot days. I swam and did my water exercises everyday. Breakfast was good but the friendly servers make mornings better! The bed well...was too soft for me but still good. Wonderful check in staff and made us feel welcome. Will stay again.

The people are friendly, the rooms are clean and above all the beds are great. Breakfast was taste and the area was spotless. I stay here each time I travel north to visit my children. I would recommend this location to anyone I know.

Nice welcome upon arrival, helpful with coupon and gift card, great breakfast, easy parkeing and entry, quick check out, nothing out of place, quiet - even though it was fully booked. Really nice body lotion too

Although the B.W. Executive Inn is just a short drive off I-95, it is in a quiet locale, away from the noise of the highway. The interior is clean and modern. The rooms are nicely furnished. The queen bed was comfortable and the pillows were adequate. The bathroom was also clean and well furnished although the bath towel I used was getting threadbare and felt stiff from many launderings. Room air-conditioning worked well and was quiet and efficient. Our room was right next to the elevator but we there was no machinery noise in the room whatsoever. Breakfast was above average featuring D-I-Y waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, and biscuits with sausage gravy. The juices and coffee were good quality. The buffet was carefully attended by the staff to keep it stocked. The dining area is bright and spacious. Now to explain my title: many exits off I-95 with hotels nearby also feature several dining establishments. Off this exit, all you will find nearby are Wendy's, Dairy Queen, and McDonalds all located in gas station convenience stores. The drive to "downtown" Latta is about eight miles on country roads but the town has very little to offer: the one "Italian" restaurant was not worth the drive. The BW Executive Inn has a list of "dining establishments" and most of them are about 15 miles down the interstate.

A friend and I were traveling on a trip that we had previously planned several months ago. He had booked this room ahead of time. I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice it was. The room was clean and I didn't notice any incomplete repairs as you do in other hotels. We had a room with two queen-sized beds, each having four pillows. The room also had a microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast comes with the room. There were waffles, eggs, sausage, assorted breads and danish, fresh fruit, and cereal. The only negative I would note is that the gravy was cold. Yuck. If I am in the area again and need a place to stay, this would be it.

On our travels to Florida it was nice to call it a day at this hotel. The breakfast was decent to help us get a good start on the travel. We would stay here again. Close to I 95 for ease of travelers.

This hotel had a great staff and very comfortable beds. Pillows are small and you need at least 2 for each person. Shower is very good except the tub was very slippery getting in. Now for the noise. My neighbor in room 306 had the TV on full all night long. I even called the front desk. The night clerk came up, knocked on their door and even called them with no response. Hard tip sleep hearing Rachel Maddow and fellow MSNBC idiots spout off all night. World have been just as bad if it were Fox. Will stay again on frequent travels through

Everything was great. We stayed here on our way to Florida and it was a nice place and a nice area. Everyone was very friendly and We would definitely stay here again. The pool was nice and warm too. The breakfast was very good too.

Hotel is immaculately clean and smells very fresh. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Indoor pool would be great if traveling with kids. Next door are Gas station, Wendy's, Dairy Queen and Dunkin Donuts. Easy access on and off 95.

The room smell. There was smoking and a party next door. The front desk did nothing. Did not sleep at all left at 6 morning. They did give me a refund for my stay. No points for checking nothing!!! Breakfast was ok

Stayed here on my way to Daytona Bike Week. Front desk help was outstanding. Overall property condition was good. A good value for a weary motorcycle traveler. Breakfast was well done with the usual assortment of food. Check in bonus for my status was very much welcomed!

We were very pleased with our accommodations at this Best Western location. We called while on the road & managed to secure a room with a jacuzzi. It was well worth the extra cost. It came with a king bed, microwave, & mini fridge. It was right off 95...easy off, easy on. We left before breakfast, but they packed out a bag for each of us. I would highly recommend this inn if you are in Latta, SC.

Best Western has become my default 1-night-stay hotel over the last 2 years, whether personal or business travel.. Only 2 idiosyncrasies: (1) Room keys must be reprogrammed if key gets too close to I-phone. (2) Refrigerators hum. Must put them on lowest setting.

Needed a break on the way to Florida. Stopped for 1 night. Staff very friendly. Hotel was clean. Our room was huge. Indoor pool was nice. Beds were amazingly comfortable.Great experience. Would definitely stay again in the future. Thanks!

Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Notified front desk at checkout since we were exhausted. They gave extra reward points instead of reducing room rate. Disappointed in this hotel. Most other things could be overlooked, but rooms should be ready for guests when they check in. Many travelers arrive too exhausted to move to another room. Housekeeping and management should insist on non smoking rooms not smelling like smoke. Terribly disappointing.

We highly recommend this hotel! The staff was helpful, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the free hot breakfast had a nice variety, and the price was very reasonable. Again, we highly recommend this Best Western.

Had a wonderful time the room was clean the heated pool was just right. The professionalism of the front desk clerk was above standard. With over 25 people I the lobby she was alone and check everyone in.

The hotel is good located near to junction. It is more or less standard 3* hotel with a standard set of services and features.The only issue I had during stay was missing towels in fitness room on the last day. Honestly - I didn't ask staff about it. I really believe it is small issue.Overall - recommended

My wife and I drove from Va to Fl and decided to get a hotel halfway thru the trip. We found this hotel spur of the moment and got a room. The kindest lady helped us and even gave us the military discount even though normal policy was to not do so on the weekend. The place was spotless, beds comfortable, and employees super kind. The free breakfast was just ok but I don't hold that against them. It was free. Definitely recommend staying here.

Everything stemmed fine until we got to our room. Once in there, we realized our window was facing bright lights outside. I mean bright, road worker's lights. To our disbelief, the black out curtains DO NOT CLOSE. There is only a sheer curtain that closes. Even if there wasn't a bright light, it still faces a busy road. Who wants to get dressed in front of a sheer curtain in a busy area??? We literally had to pins the side curtains closed in order to have a hope of getting any sleep. Next, we needed an access code for the WiFi. Called the front desk several times and no answer, so I suppose we won't be getting WiFi. If you need a place to sleep for the night, it's fine. The room is clean. But don't expect anything like good service or even a room with curtains.

We stayed here for two nights and it is a horrible hotel. The beds are very uncomfortable so that my back hurts after two nights. But the worst think are the noises. When somebody is moving in the room above or the phone is ringing it's extremely loud. The lobby is ok but not a nice room to spend time. There is no restaurant to get some drinks or food in the evening. The gym is extremely small and stinky, the opening hours do not fit for business people.

I went down for my friend wedding in Marion, SC. I enjoyed my stay it was so peaceful and relaxing. The weather was perfect and it right off of I 95. I recommend staying at this hotel. I look forward to visiting again.

Highly recommend this hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. Comfortable room. AC works well. Spacious. Plus dog friendly. TV could be a little bigger. Plus they have a breakfast. A great stay. Rate an A+. What more can I say? Trip Advisor wants 200 characters. I liked the accommodations.

A friend was stranded during her travels due to Hurricane Florence. She stopped at this hotel but they were completely booked. Unlike other chains during other emergencies, they did not offer any type of accommodation such as staying in their lobby for the night, etc. At a time when neighbors are helping neighbors and strangers are helping strangers this hotel was unwilling to offer any help. Needless to say they will never get my business nor will the chain. Shame on Best Western executives/owners of this hotel and their staff.

Excellent stop for the night after a long day of travel. Very friendly staff, large rooms, very clean, excellent breakfast. Highly reccomend this hotel. Would only be better if there were restaurants near by.

We needed a place to spend the night on our way fro Delaware to Savannah. We chose Best Western because they have a reputation for being clean and comfortable. The desk clerk was very friendly and the room was great. If you want dinner other than fast food then I would advise eating an exit or 2 before Latta. Not much there. But the provided breakfast could not have been better.

We stayed at this hotel with a coupon from the welcome to South Carolina center. The price was right and the hotel was fair to stay for one night. The employees were very nice and helpful.... free hot breakfast and a helpful attendant... the room was ok. The only problem was the shower, the tub did not drain fast. You could hear the traffic from the freeway. All in all it was ok for the price of $ 84 tax included....

This was a great hotel and we would definitely stay again if in the area. This was an overnight stay for us, as we were on our way home. Guest room was very clean and modern. All amenities in the room were in very good working order. Love having a refrigerator and microwave in the room, along with the coffeemaker and hair dryer. This property also has a small fitness center and an indoor pool, which we made use of during our stay. Breakfast was great and included a waffle maker, scrambled eggs, and sausage, as well as a selection of continental breakfast items. A nice extra touch is that the juice machine is available 24/7 along with coffee and tea! All of the hotel staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We made 1 request to the front desk upon arriving to our room, and our request was delivered immediately. This property does have elevators. This property is also very close to the highway, so we were back on our way quickly. This hotel offers a lot of amenities for the price.

wasn't sure what this hotel would be like . being in a small area BUT its was great. very nice hotel , clean, nice staff helpful . breakfast was average . not to many place to eat around it but ok for a nightime meal.

We stopped here as it was conveniently located off the highway, we really enjoy the hotel, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great and well taken care of by Kyle, he was awesome and took great care of us.

I was looking for places to stay with my dog to stay that can be hard to find and not very nice. When I pull-up I was happy to see how nice it looked. When I walk inside it was even better. Had a nice foyer that was well done and a helpful and courteous person at the desk. You can even see where they serve breakfast and it looked clean and inviting. I found the room to be quite nice. The rooms designated for pets has tile floors. But they have a $25 pet charge that I'm not happy. The pool area was very nice. It was just enjoyable stay and I highly recommend it.

I gave this Best Western a 5 star because of the super clean condition of the rooms and lobby, convenience to the interstate, and superb staff. Recommend for all travelers for short or long term stay.

We stay at this Best Western, when we travel to and from Sarasota for the winter. Always very happy with the room, breakfast and the people who work there. We have never had any problems and plan to stay there in the future.

I'm from Latta but no longer live in the state, so it was nice to come back home and have somewhere nice to say. I am extremely picky about where I stay and will go over a room with a fine tooth comb about it's cleanliness. I can honestly say my room was immaculate. I really liked the fact that the fridge in the room was larger than other places. All of the staff I had interactions with were friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The convenience to the Interstate definitely made it a plus as well. One might say I'm partial because I'm from this town and I am, however, I am honest and wouldn't give a recommendation that I couldn't stand behind. Needless to say, I've already made more reservations for Memorial Day weekend.

If you are one of the people who don't care about the price just like I do since the company is paying for it. The big consideration is the people and the cleanliness . So far so good. Me and my staff been here for months and months now and got no major problem just their card keys. Rena is always kind and courteous to us. Maybe because we are foreign and she's foreign so there's this huge tolerance,patience and understanding especially when it comes to language barrier. But everybody in the hotel are nice

The place was a typical Best Western. It was clean, but the beds were sagging a bit. Internet was provided but very slow. It's an okay place to stay, just a little pricey. Staff was friendly and ready to help.

Good: Friendly staff, especially Jessica @ breakfast. Girl was up with daylight savings time, perky, helpful and went out of her way to make sure she anticipated your next groggy move at breakfast when you were trying to find something but weren't sure where it was. The front desk staff was also noticed hauling up a busload of passengers bags - I've never seen this before, but appreciated the true Southern hospitality! Also, warm pool, clean towels,firm beds, express check out, free info on best restaurants readily available at front, newspaper & breakfast to go offered. Bad: The hotel isn't completely smoke free. We did smell some in the hall, but our room was fresh scented, though not super modern in decor & a few stains were noted on the chair, in the fridge. Some walls needed spackle in bathroom. You decide: Walls were thin (easy to hear conversations - for current family or to make new friends!), highway noise easily audible (white noise or nuisance?)

Our reservation was easy. Front desk made check in easy after a long day of traveling. The room clean. Plenty of space in our room. Good breakfast. Fresh and hot. Check out went easy. I would stay again.

I chose this location because it is exactly where i needed a break on my drive north from florida. I also chose it because of the low rates because there are no attractions nearby to demand a higher price. Everything was clean and tidy, bed comfy and breakfast was ok...the usual make your own waffles and some eggs, biscuit gravy etc.

Front desk people very nice. No restaurants nearby. Very noisy highway. Room wasn't completely clean. Stain on curtains. Bathroom needs cosmetic work. Two ladybugs in the room flying around. Didn't stay for the breakfast.

We arrived at the hotel slightly after midnight on Sunday night/Monday morning after driving about 14-15 hours from New England. The lady at the front desk (forgot her name) was so helpful and friendly. The first thing she told us about was the juice and coffee they have 24 hours a day in the dining room. Much appreciated! The room was clean, quiet and the hotel also accepted dogs for a small fee. Would definitely stay there again, no question.

Traveling to HHI, we stopped overnight here on Chase points stay. Good bang for our bucks! Right by the route, right on 95, quiet and comfortable. The mud tracked into the lobby and elevator were still there the next morning and that was a turn off but the breakfast was good and the room was good.

BEST WESTERN 1534 HIGHWAY 38 WEST, LATTA, SOUTH CAROLINA 29565 While traveling through South Carolina heading to Florida suddenly ice/snow storm hit. Within minutes, Route 95 South was glare ice. We got off the first exit and headed straight to the Best Western in Latta, SC. Upon arriving the lobby was filled with people frantically trying to get rooms for the night. Unfortunately, the entire hotel was filled to capacity. The lady attending the front desk, CRYSTAL GABLE worked diligently answering the phone that was ringing nonstop, while trying to help all of us find a place for the night. Not once did she ever lose her patient or look overwhelmed. CRYSTAL called all incoming guests with reservations, to see if they were still planning to arrive. CRYSTAL started a waiting list and took them as rooms become available. She allowed us to sleep in the pool area on the lounge chairs and made people comfortable by giving us blankets and pillows. She checked on us continually and occasionally brought other stranded drivers into the pool area as the night went on. At shift change, the new front desk attendant LISA BARFIELD arrived. CRYSTAL briefed her on the situation. LISA continued to be just as accommodating and kind as CRYSTAL. She brought a service woman, her mother and sister into the pool area to sleep, after they were involved in a car accident on their way bring their soldier back to Army base. One of the stranded drivers was a scared, young college student, who was driving herself back to campus. Lisa brought her in and made her feel relaxed. We reminded her to call her worried parents back in Pennsylvania. If it weren't for CRYSTAL GABLE and LISA BARFIELD, a lot of people may have been left out in the storm with no where to go. The staff of this hotel are very professional, extremely caring and work well together. They took pride in their positions and did their jobs independently without being overseen by the hotel manager who was not onsite for the few days we were there.

New facility in a quiet, convenient location. Lobby and hallways handicap friendly and handicap accessible rooms are available. Nice clean and warm indoor pool. Awesome variety of choices for breakfast. Very friendly and considerate staff.

This is the second time we've stayed here on our way to and from Florida. Never a problem with reservations. Hotel staff are always courteous and helpful. Room was spacious (we had a King room), comfortable, and clean. Didn't use wi-fi, so can't comment. Room heater took off the chill in the room with no issues. Location is surprisingly quiet for being an exit off I-95. Easy access on and off highway. Gas station nearby. Complimentary hotel breakfast in the morning -- standard fare, but tasty. Only fast food restaurants available at this exit, but 5 miles north the town of Dillon has plenty if you don't mind a short drive. All in all, very satisfied with this hotel. Will stay here again.

The rooms were very clean, and the staff was very professional. The location was right near a major highway which made it easy to access the location. Close to other shops as well. I would rate this last stay an "excellent" value for your traveling dollar.

Our room was #315. Supposed to be a NS King. The 3rd floor near the elevator smelled heavily of cigar smoke. The room was well apportioned, clean and comfortable. The lights from the truck stop and the big rigs making turns in their parking lot caused some excessive light coming thru the curtains at night.

This hotel was great for my family to stay for a night. The room was nice and roomy too. Clean, no foul odors, decent breakfast. The waffle batter in the breakfast area was runny which made for waffles that weren't any good, but other than that the breakfast was good. Good coffee with the flavored creamers! I would definitely stay here again.

I thought there would be better restaurants in the area because it is listed as an “Executive Hotel”. But only fast food restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Roy said the best thing going was Schuler's about 4 miles away. Food was okay but definitely not a sit down place!

Hotel was very clean great location. I would stay here again when traveling to Florida. It as late when we checked in, not any great places to eat, but the truck stop next to the hotel, which had a Wendy and Dairy Queen, which was ok.

Stopped off on my way up North, I picked this hotel because it was a brand name and at a great price. Bed was very comfortable and hotel was clean. and breakfast was fine. Hotel was convienently located right off hway.

The outside lights shone in our room and I could not close the curtains, they were in a fixed position. Of course, the beds were clean and comfortable same for the room/bathtub/shower head. The breakfast was overall okay: muffins were not good quality, scramble eggs were powered, not taste good, waffles were really good park sausage was good, but could have had regular hot pancake syrup and a heated pool

There was only Chinese food that would deliver to the hotel and since we had Chinese food the previous night we din't feel like it. So we had to go out to get some food at a nearby Wendy's even after being on the road for nearly 12 hours. The hotel was fine and easy access from I-95. The employee at the reception in the morning was also looking after breakfast. So if you were checking out you might have to wait for that employee to return.

We travel to Florida from Pennsylvania several times each year and we usually stay in Best Westerns. We found the Best Western Executive Inn in Latta, SC to be a very good choice on this trip. We prefer hotels with inside corridors and this hotel had that. The hotel is directly off 95 which was very convenient. The room was comfortable and the breakfast items excellent. The receptionist, Nikki, was friendly and helpful. The internet worked without problem. We will definitely stay at this Best Western again.

For me, this is the perfect place to take a break on the way to Florida. Other than the nearby fuel plaza, it's not a real busy area, but between the fuel plaza and the hotel amenities, I don't see where you really need anything else for a travel stop. Very well-kept hotel with friendly staff. I will stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

There is only a Wendy's nearby and not other eateries except a BBQ place that is only open 2 days a week. One of the major problems with Best Western, or any other motels, is the non-compliance with the ADA. There are few if any handicapped rooms and the staff fails to comply with our requests.

Great place and good food,rooms very big nice pool and a good gym. Free internet that's very fast. Housekeeping was very good always came back to a very clean room. Highly recommended this hotel lots of car parking space.

Stayed here for a one night stay and it was very nice. The rooms were very clean, cozy and had everything you need for a night stay. The staff here is very nice and helpful and it didn't take us a few minutes to get our room. I don't smoke in my house so i, was kind of reluctant when they gave us a smoking room due, to the experiences i have had sleeping in a smoking room but, this hotel stays on top of their house cleaning and when i got to our room and opened the door there was no smell of smoke and that was really great. Like i said i smoke but i get a headache and can't sleep due to the smell of smoke. This is a great place to stay even for a night or a week they also have a "Great Continiental Breakfast!"

Exhausted from driving almost 10 hours, right off the highway was this Great place to call it a night. Immediate kind service from Nikki, got my Veteran's Discount, (so i was ecstatic) went up to find a Kool, Klean, Komfortable two queen sized beds room, that housed us for the night. In the am, a fantastically prepared breakfast and more great customer services set us on our way in blessed preparation for another long day of driving. Pleasant Staff All around, especially the young lady who was the cook& Nikki!

Very nice place to stay after a long road trip. There is a cute smaller sized pool and I think a workout room. The hotel smells fresh and clean. The late night clerk was friendly. The breakfast was delicious!

If you are going to or coming from Florida and just need a place to rest your head...this is an IDEAL spot. If you are coming to Darlington raceway or dragway...this is a great place to stay! Clean, comfy and close to the track. The bed was more comfortable than my bed at home!!!

Really great hotel with beautiful rooms. but quite remote off highway, (restaurants 8 miles away), comfortable beds, fantastic breakfast with sugar free syrup and yogurt provided! Indoor swimming pool was super small; more like a giant bathtub (but if you have small children, it's perfect and personalized).

My husband and I stayed here the night before the eclipse. We had booked a king room with a spa bath well in advance on booking.com. When we arrived we were given an handicapped-accessible king room without the spa bath. We went down to ask to be switched to the room we had paid for, upon which we were told that despite having received the request for the spa bath room from Booking, the hotel reserved us a regular king room. Since they only had smoking rooms left, we agreed to stay in the regular king and the receptionist did eventually give us a discounted rate, to make up for the difference. This wasn't the biggest disappointment as we were there for one night and she did make it right in the end, however the room smelled SO BAD. This was a no-smoking room, but not only was it surrounded by smoking rooms and the hallway reeked of cigarettes, it was a CONNECTED ROOM (the kind with a door to the adjacent room) which was smoking!! What a stupid idea! We smelled the smoking next door through the night. To make matters worse, they used a disinfectant to mask it that smelled just as bad, if not worse. It was very overpowering and I didn't even want to drink my coffee in there. I aired out the room a bit upon arrival, but there was no screen in the window so I couldn't keep it open all night; bugs flew in immediately. The bed was fine, the room was clean, and the quality was appropriate for the price, but the smells were just awful and made our stay uncomfortable. We assume that the spa bath rooms would be at the end of the hall, which would have probably made the smoking smell less noticable, so that added to the disappointment. Really surprised that this hotel is rated so highly; maybe everyone who reviewed smokes.

this is the 2nd time we have stayed here and will do again I am sure. Hotel is easy to get to and just off I95. Clean very nice rooms and a good value. If looking for a place don't pass this one by. In a location that is loaded with many motels this Best Western is a diamond.

We only stayed one night. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. Even the breakfast was great. Will definitely be staying again. Overall an excellent experience. Can't be beat for the price.

We usually love Best Westerns, but maybe we have been spoiled by our favorite BW, which, at the exact same price point delivers a cleaner and higher standard experience. We booked the Executive Inn from our car, miles away, and used the ratings to choose the location. Upon entering, my nose was assaulted by the pool smell. The place looked pretty clean, albeit spartan. That all changed once we hit the elevator. The overpowering smell of cigarette smoke was almost palpable and it didn't get any better when we exited onto the third floor. Our room smelled like a chimney but it was late and I could tough it out for a night. The walls were extremely dirty (and the curtains), the door almost didn't fit the space and there was light pouring in between the door/frame. There was one lonely shampoo bottle on the counter and the toilet would only flush if you stood there and held the handle down the entire flushing time, we almost had a need for a plunger at one point. The refrigerator was missing the bottom door rack and a door to the "freezer." When I went to get ice, I saw the sign to get it on the second floor. Nope, broken. Then it was a trudge to the first floor to cart the cooler all the way back up to the third floor. In the morning, after promising the kid they could go in the pool, we were disgusted when we looked at it and wouldn't let them go. Check out my picture--yuck. There was a nasty film with bubbles all over the top. Breakfast? I should have gone to McDonalds. It would've been nicer if the prep room door wasn't open and I didn't have to see where the food came from. I will say the bed was extremely comfortable! I would recommend you don't stay here unless the rooms get some cleaning.

I was overall impressed with the Best Western Executive Inn. The room seemed clean but there was a slight odor. We stayed in room 203 I believe. The door to the room had a large gap so that you could see out to the hallway near the bottom edge, but it was mostly our family occupying the 2nd floor so it was not a big deal in this case. The noises coming from overhead and around us in the morning hours were pretty loud. The rooms obviously don't have great soundproofing. These are all very nit picky things so overall I was pleased with the quality of the rooms and bed for this price point.

We stayed at this BW and were pleasantly surprised. It's located right off the road, easily accessible to I95. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and well-appointed. The front desk clerk was helpful in directing us to a quaint dinner place nearby. This hotel is next to a Pilot station with all kinds of quick amenities available there also.

rooms where clean and nice and cold breakfast was very good and pleanty of parikng and pool is a plus. Staff was very friendly and helpful faciligy was also clean and everything in working order. IO would deff recommend to a family member

This hotel is very convenient to stay in when heading further south on vacation. The desk attendants are very professional & kind, and the rooms are clean. Free breakfast is your standard fare, but nice to have.

I stayed at this executive inn after have a bad experience in Florence at another Best Western. This Hotel set the standards for cleanliness and just overall knowledgeable staff and very modernized rooms that made me feel right at home.

This is a really nice hotel, the staff is friendly and very helpful. Nice saltwater indoor pool that myself and grandson really enjoy each time we stay here. The prices are reasonable also. Nice breakfast. They are always improving on this hotel so each time we go there is always something new and different. The beds are really comfortable so you can get a great nights sleep.

We had a reservation but arrived late due to the distance we were driving. Our room was ready and the woman at the front desk had a small bag of fruit and water for us when we arrived at about 1am. She said she knew we had come a long way and that we could probably use a little something. Very thoughtful and my boys couldn't have been more excited.

This is a new hotel on I-95 where there aren't many options for overnight stays! It is a good choice - beds are very comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, it is clean and has a pool and business center!

Clean and pleasant rooms and extremely friendly staff. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. Rooms were large. The gym and pool are always a nice feature and the desk managers at check in and check out, and all other staffers were very friendly.

Best stay for your buck. The staff was very helpful. Clean rooms wonderful decor. The location is not to busy and their restaurants all over the area for your dining pleaser. Kid friendly wonderful breakfast.

Wonderful gentleman who checked us in, great sense of humor, and knew what he was doing! Everything about our brief stay was great, including the breakfast and the young lady that had maintained it to be clean and fresh hot food!

This BW is one of the best; it is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The rooms are large, and the beds are firm and comfortable. The staff is helpful and professional. There are some excellent dining opportunities in the area which the desk clerk will share with you. It is mid way to Florida from the mid Atlantic.

Overall an uneventful pleasant experience. Will definitely stay there again. No problems whatsoever. Also happy that there was enough green space on the outside to walk my two dogs. There was no indication on road signs that there was a best western at exit

Nice room but tile floors on 1st level hallway added to increased noise level of wheels of carts, trash cans, luggage wheels. Our room was very near the lobby. Should have trout of that ahead of time.

Nice clean, comfortable room. Lots of space in the room. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choices. I have allergies to dairy products so I was glad there was no cheese in the eggs. The eggs were also cooked perfectly. Very good hot water and great water pressure in the shower. AC also worked very well.

I had to come home for my grandmother's funeral and I didn't have to worry about one thing with my stay. Fast, friendly clean place. It is right off the interstate next to a travel center so very convenient. This is my second time staying here.

I received a hardy welcome at my check-in and felt like I was returning back from a visit even though it was my first time at this location. It was so nice to have a reservation when the sign on the door said NO Vacancies. The room was clean and quiet. Super strong shower.

Thinnest sheets and smallest towels. Amenities included 2soap bars and a shampoo only. There are so many other choices this is not one to stay at. Tile floor throughout the room needs a good cleaning.

I stay here when I am in South Carolina. This is a place to stay away from home. The staff is friendly and the hospitality is great. The breakfast bar was was very good. The beds were comfortable and the ambience were nice.

Made the reservation by phone, rather than entering all the info on my phone while traveling. Ended up getting charged a small fortune by a third party site. Once we arrived, we were charged again unknowingly. Reservations set us up with a handicapped room which was not what we needed, we asked for a non smoking room. The room was nice, but many stains were visible on the furniture. The toilet didn't flush, but not wanting to complain, we made due. The next morning when we made a comment about the toilet not working, a young lady at the desk said "oh yes, room 320? The toilet doesn't work, you needed to open the tank and pull up on the thing". So, they rented a room knowing the toilet didn't work? A handicapped room to boot? Wow, what a shame. We are trying to get the double charge resolved, but haven't yet.

We (23 people) came from Philadelphia Pa. to visit with a church in Dillon SC. The staff was extra friendly Roy, Jennifer and Donald just to name a few. The house keeping staff made sure our rooms stay well stocked and clean. The breakfast was good also. We all loved our stay.

Snowbirds traveling from NY to FL, stopped at the Best Western in Lotta, SC as our halfway point. It appeared to be a good selection. Great location, directly off of Interstate 95. Pet friendly, too. Rate was high considering the competition along I 95. We paid the cheapest rate at $99. Our room (306) was large. Bed linens were rumpled and very wrinkled, so hard to tell if they were freshly laundered. TV reception was bad. Internet was intermittent. Toilet was water-stained. One small bottle of shampoo, no other toiletries available. Just didn't give off a freshly scrubbed appearance. We were too exhausted to complain, but did so in the morning. We were told, "Sorry".

A Nice place to stay. A little noisy with the road traffic, but not affecting my ability to sleep. Would have been better to sit this hotel parallel to the highway not perpendicular. Dbl pane windows would be good, but I am glad that I can open them on the 3rd floor. Needs a laundromat for guests as there are no close or desirable choices in the nearby towns.

This is a nice facility. It is clean, has hood elevator and friendly staff. The breakfast is ample and coffee not bad. BUT! Having difficulty with my legs I ask for a handicapped equipped bathroom. I got one. I was finished bathing before I paid attention to the location of the towels. They are 8 feet from the bathtub/shower. This seems to me to be just a little farther than might be expected, particularly when the wall between them is bare to the bone. So if you need help getting in and it out of the tub grab your towel first and hope it doesn't fall on the floor or into the tub before you get a chance to use it.

Our family trip was driving from Washington to Orlando on I-95 so we stopped for overnight stay in this hotel. Family of 5. Front desk blond lady (sorry I don't remember her name) was very nice and answeared all our questions about area , food options and every thing else. Inside small but verry nice pool was great - getting inside after long day driving. Breakfast was nice like every other BW. Room was clean and 5 of us had enogh space. Great to stop for 1 night.

My only problem (have stayed here four other times) were these. Someone left the window open on my third floor room and a fire down the road brought smoke smell into the room. Finally, the air conditioning unit was still noisy even on the lowest cool setting.

Stay away from this one! The place smelled bad like mildew and beds very poor condition, security was a problem. Air condition problem the unit was broken. Keep going to other hotel ... Best Western is generally very good don't know what happen here!

No problems with this hotel. Met expectations for one night business trip. Staff very pleasant. Room was clean, AC worked well. Bed was comfortable, but bedding was skimpy and no extra blanket was provided

We love this spot the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. the beds are soft and clean. Breakfast was wonderful pool and spa relaxing. The upgrades are on point. The price is worth your money. This property has a 5-star hotel feel and appeal.

In town for the Nascar race Labor Day 2016 meant paying higher than normal rates, which we have experienced at other cities during race weekend A storm passed through the area Knocking our power for almost 24 hrs. Cold shower and coffee and bananas were all that were offered to my family one morning. Went out, enjoyed our day came back and still no power or an idea of when it might be back on at the hotel. I find it strange that a modern hotel would not have a back-up generator available during power outages.No one even said "Sorry".

First the fire alarm was going off in our room. Batteries need changed. Got move to another room. Seen 2 bugs on the floor. The bathroom had mold on the walls. Look like from a leaky roof, water stains on the wall and ceiling. Right where the mold is.

We stayed here travelling north from Florida. Had our 2 small dogs with us this trip. This Best Western only has a few pet-friendly rooms and we got one of them. Hard-surface floors, near exit to outside grounds, good price and real close to I-95. It was perfect, so we decided to stay there on the way back. Called in the morning heading south and reserved the same room. 700 miles later we get there and the manager says we don't have the room we reserved in the morning. Instead we're given a room near the lobby (noise and light) and pee-smell in carpet. Bunch of bs as to how it happened but somehow they managed to keep our credit card info okay but mysteriously lost our room # preference. So if you reserve a place here early better check frequently to be sure they don't give it away to someone else.

Best place in town to stay is accurate because it's the ONLY place in town to stay. Never-the-less, it is a nice place. The fellow at the night desk was friendly. He listened to my questions and found a way to accommodate me. The next morning he was still there (I came in pretty late) and had breakfast set up and ready to go. It seems that he really takes pride in how the breakfast looked. It was a little pricey, but in a pinch I had to pay what they demanded. I do recommend this hotel. I'll be back.

This hotel met all our needs, large, nice, clean room, very good hot breakfast and friendly staff in all areas. There was one elevator, which was somewhat slow but did get the job done, we took the stairs several times due to the elevator speed or lack of. But overall this is a place we would stay again.

Eleven hours on the road, passed many other properties wanted to stay in Northern South Carolina room was quiet and comfortable bed with 2 chairs. King Size bed with 5 pillows and relaxing Jacuzzi. sufficient towels for both bath and Jacuzzi.

This hotel is exact half way from Gainesville to Fairfax Virginia. It is on I-95 with lot of food choices within a mile radius, this makes it easier to spend minimum time on food hunting. Hotel has small clean swimming pool and working fitness room which relaxes your body after a long drive and prepare you for next day drive. Fresh fruit , juice and fresh coffee available 24-7 is a treat. Grab and go bag with fruit , bar and water at check out was a treat, makes you drive extra distance before stop for refreshment.

The place looks really nice from inside and out. The decor in the hotel is great, the rooms were really nice and clean, no foul smell anywhere. They had a juice stand for unlimited time, day or night, you could get orange juice, cranberry and water whenever you like

This is a very serviceable stop over hotel near 95 and the beaches of NC and SC. The hotel has had a make over and it looks nice, nothing fancy, no frills. Room was clean and beds were fine to sleep on. I would stay here again. Only downsize was the light from the building entrance shining in our room all night, even with the drapes closed, at 2 AM I thought it was 8 AM...

Sleeping away from home, the first thing that I look for is a clean atmosphere, next to comfort. Staying at Best Western I know that the environment is clean and I can relax and enjoy my vacation, leaving the cleaning to the well trained staff.

Great hotel for an overnight while traveling I 95. Breakfast good, internet fast, bed soft, hotel clean, and the price was right....what more can you ask for. The bar-b-que place down the road is awesome (especially their ribe) !!

When we first pulled up the hotel, I was concerned because it was obvious that the signage and lettering had been removed from the front of the hotel. Nevertheless, we pressed on and went inside. We were assigned to a room on the third floor that was comfortable. BUT there were NO towels and the hand towels that had been left hanging in the bathroom were wet and used. The cleaning staff came through and brought clean towels, wash clothes and hand towels. The room itself was comfortable enough for the one night that we planned to stay on our road trip. The next morning, we received a knock on our door at about 8:30 am. We went to the door but no one was there. We shrugged and got back in bed as check out is not until 11 am. However, there was no sleep to be had. Within 10 minutes of the knocking, there was loud bumping, banging, thumping and talking in the hallway. Something with a metallic sound kept hitting our door. We realized that there would be no more sleep so we got up and proceeded to get dressed so that we could check out. Imagine our shock and surprise when we opened our room door only to trip over broken down metal bed frames. There were mattresses and box springs, dressers and mirrors, construction equipment lining the hallway of the entire third floor! Carpets has been pulled up and rolled into the hallway. In order for my family to make it down the hallway, my oldest son had to go ahead and hold mattresses against the wall so that we could get by. Apparently, we had been booked into a room on a floor that is either getting a massive overhaul or they are moving things out to tear down the hotel. Either way, the experience left much to be desired and Best Western will not be patronized by me or my family again.

The desk clerks were very friendly and courteous. The room was close to elevator and the room was excellent. Two queen beds in very spacious room was so inviting and comfortable. Will do my best to stay in a BW when I travel again...

A very nice house with enthusiastic, friendly staff. Ask about the fabulous BBQ joint 4 miles down the road if they do not mention it. The free breakfast at the hotel was also very adequate. If you are travelling along Rt. 95 and need a place to stop near here, you won't go wrong with this place. Do not miss the BBQ joint nearby; it was very good indeed.

Recent renovation to building is poor, the rooms have old scratched and dated furniture and appliances, the parking lot has no drive around so parking with a trailer can be a challenge if hotel full. Overall i would much rather drive 20 miles further to Florence and find a better hotel on my next visit to the area.

Our experiences at the Best Western was Bad. We check in no problem. When we got in the room we saw a little water on the bathroom floor didn't think it wasn't nothing. Before we went to bed that's when we notice a lot of water on the bathroom floor. We called the front desk that night and they came upstairs and seen the water and they put a bunch of towels on the floor around the toilet. So when we woke up the next morning we found a puddle of water on the bathroom floor notice that the toilet was leaking. They came at 9:00a.m and tried to fixed it but they couldn't. So they offer us a very small room and we said NO cause we paid for a large room. Then they gave us a key to the room next door so we could use the bathroom and take a shower cause we couldn't use the toilet or shower in our room. Then that same Night the Lights in the Hotel went Off so we were in the DARK for TWO IN A HALF HOUR. They didn't have no back up genarator . The Manager ( RAY ) said that he will take off $40 dollars off the room like Really. But found out that he LIED he NEVER did take money off of our room. We wasted a whole day in the room waiting for them to come and fixed the toilet. They REALLY MESSED up our VACATION. We will never come back to this Hotel AGAIN. We PAID for 4 Nights and WE was VERY UNHAPPY We left early on the 23 of June. Plus it is right NEXT TO A Truck stop, It should be called THE WORST WESTERN. I advise NO One to Stay Here. Try it and you WON"T Like it. THANK YOU FOR LISTEN. We still trying to call them but they Won't Return my CALLS. Who ever stay here I wish You Luck. When we was there it looked like it was only 3 to 4 people staying at this Hotel.

Never stayed at a Best Western until last month this was the second time. Will do so again. The people were courteous. The breakfast was very good. The price was reasonable. It was clean. The security was good.

Other than wishing there was a bit more light in the room, this place is perfect for an overnight stay. One of the reasons for light was barely adequate, is that the room was enormous. There is simply no other way to describe it.. Needless to say, everything was spotless, everything worked, and it was quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. The desk clerk was cheerful and checked us in very quickly. Breakfast was more than adequate, and the area was large and well lit. We would definitely stay here again.

We were surprised that the hotel wasn't as nice or as clean as other times we stayed here. The bed mattresses need to be replaced, and the rooms need to be freshened up a bit. Not a bad price, but the place needs some deep cleaning, especially the elevator and the hallway rugs.

My Wife I and a friend stopped here on our way back from Myrtle Beach. Make no mistake this is not a resort property. It is a simple but comfortable road stop hotel. Check in was efficient. Breakfast was what you should expect from a roadside hotel. Good enough to fill your bellly. Our rooms were clean. For a simple nights sleep while traveling this hotel served our purpose just fine.

We stayed one night while making a long road trip. Was so happy with it that I canceled our reservation at another hotel on the way back to stay here again. Very comfortable and the man at the front desk was always so nice and accommodating. The hot breakfast was very good.

Peeling paint, heavy dust on the drapes, odor, and in need of repairs. I will not stay at this motel again, we usually I Best Western, but not this one.. so sorry, I hope that get this one repaired soon. Thanks for listening.

decent place with rates way to high for middle of nowhere off I95. Checked in very late at night only to discover that the road it's on Highway 38 is very busy and loud in the morning. Sounded like my bed was next to the highway. Stunningly loud. Initial quoted rate of 99 was too high. Gave me a manager's special of 54 when I balked. Wish I had saved the money and slept for a couple hours in the car.

Stopped here on our way home from Florida. One of the nicer Best Western's I've been too. Looks as if it recently went thru an upgrade and had a modern look to it. Rooms were spacious and not cluttered like most hotels. Surprised at how quiet it was too. Would recommend lodging here. Free breakfast and wifi connection available.

Outside of dirty carpet, Hotel was a good value for the money. Was in the right place on us-38 going to Myrtle Beach for a vacation coming from Ohio. Would stay there a second time around if they change out the carpet.

Nice comfortable hotel with all rooms entered from within the building, so secure also. Clean. Comfortable bed. Check in staff friendly and welcoming. Very easy access from I-95, immediately off the exit. Breakfast was the typical Best Western fair. Scrambled eggs were a bit dry, but the sausage, French Toast, cereal, waffles, juice, coffee were adequate. I'd definitely stop here again if in the area.

Room was horribly filthy. Tripped over torn carpeting upon entering the room. Additional rips in the carpet inside the room. Air conditioning unit cover falling off the unit and looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. Bathroom floor was sticky and trash from previous guest on the floor. Bathroom had what looked like blood splatter on the floor, but owner and manager insisted it was dry paint, either way floor was filthy! Management and owner were rude and unprofessional and refused to address my concerns. Do yourself a favor and go further down the road to Florence, NC and stay at the Best Western there, I know I will next time!

This hotel is very clean, they have a nice breakfast, and the beds are comfortable. I would recommend it to any travelers...it's extremely convenient. We arrived very late, and left very early so we didn't have a chance to try any amenities besides the breakfast. The hot breakfast was excellent though.

this is by far the worst hotel i have ever been to. first they charged extra for a week end rate without even advising me first. then they didn't properly give me my discounts for my auto club membership after the guy at the sesk told me it would be deducted from my bill. then when i went to check out the person said there was nothing she could do and didn't take it any further and thanked me for staying at their hotel- the worst service. stay away from this dump or you will be sorry.

I stayed at the property this past weekend from Thursday till Sunday. I called to reserve a room for my brother and gave the clerk all his information along with payment info. She stated we have him reserved in a double nonsmoking room and she would email the confirmation number. We never received the confirmation I told my brother its fine you can still check-in. We arrived at hotel and I told him to go check-in and we would wait. The clerk at the desk a feminine heavy-set white male was just plain unprofessional and rude. He stated as my brother walked up we have no rooms i can recommend the Super 8 or Econo Lodge. I was taken back and said no I'm already a guest and my brother has a confirmation. He said I don't see anything in the system and I explained who i spoke with and he should call her to see what she did with the reservation. It doesn't take 45 minutes to check someone in. He didn't want to do his job. This individual will cost the hotel a lot in revenue with his nasty attitude. He's the front line for the hotel, he needs to be retrained on customer service or look into another line of work. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone paying $141 for a room to be looked up and down by an employee who wouldn't have a job if the customers weren't booking rooms.

We visited this hotel twice on our recent trip. Once going and then coming back. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are wonderful. We were greeted both times with a friendly staff that continued to ask if we needed any additional items to better help our stay. We travel often and this hotel is one of the top Beat Westerns that we have stayed at. Highly recommend it!

My fiancé and I were traveling to FL and had no scheduled plans of where to stop. Once we started to look around in the area we quickly found there weren't a lot of options with good reviews. However this Best Western caught our eye so we grabbed a room. Our room was nice and the beds were soft, comfy clouds (at least it felt that way after 12 hrs of driving!). The pool wasn't what we were hoping for, it was quite cloudy so we decided against it. Breakfast wasn't that appealing either, kind of lacking. But for the price and the convenience, I give this hotel four stars!

The hotel was overall good. The breakfast was good The pool was too cold to use Also the only non fast food restaurant nearby is Schullers BBQ and that was terrible, bad food restaurant smelled and no variety, so you are best off to order a pizza or go with fast food. The furniture could be updated in the room but it was clean.

There are lots of things to 'like' about Latta BW: the service, value, cleanliness, and location to name but a few. For those traveling along the I95 corridor, it is a great place to stop for the night.

Nice hotel everything you need. Free breakfast. Problem is there is nothing (other than fast food) close to eat. One place in the town of Latta was good (King Pizza) not just pizza, but a fair drive. The staff were polite and the fitness centre was well stocked. Rooms were updated but they missed a few pieces in the hall.

Pleasant desk clerk when we arrived. Rooms were old and beds need to be updated. Rugs need to be cleaned. Hot water in shower was perfect! Breakfast is the normal fare of danishes, muffins, toast, cereal, bagged eggs, sausages, waffles, juice and coffee. Elevator smelled like wet dogs and floor was very sticky.

The price was right. The indoor pool is heated nicely, so you will swim In comfort. Exercise room. Free breakfast. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Some weird smells, but I think it was the first time heat was being used recently, so that could be why. It is 5 minute drive from Shuler's BBQ. Satisfied with our stay.

Hotel was clean, breakfast buffet was adequate. The pool was not open. Room was ok, no amenities in the bathroom, i.e. shampoo etc. Hotel is near the Interstate so if a light sleeper the highway noise may bother you. Heater/AC unit was a noisy.

We stay one night and enjoy our stay, the customer service was just outstanding. We ask were to eat and they sent us to a great Bar-B-Q place which I would drive down just for a meal there. Any question we had were answered quickly and any thing we need, extra towels were given to us quickly

Good, basic accommodations to take a break while driving up the East Coast from Florida to NY. Asked for and got a quiet double for a reasonable rate upon arrival. Breakfast effort is better than the actual offerings.

The room was clean and the employees were friendly. The breakfast was hot and tasty. Coffee was always fresh. We got in at dinner time and the gentleman that checked us in asked if we had dinner plans and sent us to a wonderful restaurant down the road. That showed me that he cared about his guest.

Oh yes the room has the microwave, fridge, hairdryer, coffee pot, iron & board, free wifi, king size bed.... but I can do without those amenities for a clean room and no I didn't feel it was very clean. I forgot the soap when I got in to the shower so had to get out and grab it, inadvertently getting water on the floor. I wiped it up with the bath mat and then turn the mat over.....it was filthy! YUK! The bed mattress was not bad but the pillows were like beach balls??? Hard and round! No lie!? The hallway carpet is apparently undergoing a steam cleaning which it needs desperately! See picture!! The floor of the elevator has spills and caked dirt.... ALSO the hotel is too near I95 so the traffic noise kept me awake all night! ONLY sit down dining establishment was about 7 miles away!! $90+ for this??? No thanks... won't be back!

Hotel is far from city. Hotel and Room were not clean. Roaches were roaming around in the room when we checked in. :( we had breakfast in our reservation but hotel did not serve breakfast because renovation in the hotel. We were disappointed because hotel did not inform us when we booked the hotel.

A very clean and well cared for property. Good value and close to Florence. Standard breakfast but light on fresh fruit. Permanently closed windows so fresh air for sleeping is not possible. Overall. quite good value.

I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was not clean. It was obvious the carpet had not been vacuumed. There were no towels at the pool. The breakfast was very poor. The eggs were cold. In fact, the best thing about the breakfast was the Raisin Bran. We usually have good experiences at Best Western, but we would definitely not stay at this Best Western in the future.

When we arrived at the hotel, they were during renovation; did not think much about this. However, what they fail to tell us that due to renovations, breakfast has been discontinued (Strike 1). The one and only elevator, seemed as though it was on its last leg (Strike 2). Our room, although clean and our bed was comfortable, the rug and the sofa, old and dirty looking. On top of the that, we were not provided with a TV Channel listing, so we had to keep flipping through channels until we found a suitable and viewable TV show. We were only provided with two towels (STRIKE 3)

If I wasn't so tired we would leave; only 2 towels provided, bathroom was dirty (hair, dirt), carpet hadn't been vacuumed, beds not properly made. Housekeeping needs training. Furniture is missing (chair), damaged. We stayed here a few years back and thought it safe to return. No. We won't be back.

Hotel is middle level quality, room is not clean. There was a lady bug in the room and a small fly in the room. smelly Bed sheet and pillowcase. Hallway is not clean. It's remodeling right now. We visited the other Best Western hotel before. They were very good. This one is pretty bad and expensive.

We cannot stand the smell of smoke. Room not even ready and the hotel was not full at 3:30 p.m. Disappointing and will not return to B.WESTERN in Latta . WILL Chose another chain of hotel in South Carolina, if possible.

Upon arrival I was pleasantly pleased with the outside appearance of the hotel and I was excited to finally lay down after a long road trip. When we entered the lobby it was roped off due to construction that was going on. The check in process was pretty simple, however we were notified then that Breakfast would not be available due to the renovations. I was a little put off, as that was one of the reasons I chose the hotel, due to the free breakfast. As we got on the elevator and made it to our floor and entered our room, I immediately thought we had made a mistake. The room immediately smelled of mold and dust, the carpet was pretty worn and looked like it had not been cleaned. The bathroom was less than clean and you could see dirt, hair strands, stains and smudges from the previous occupant. I ended up using the shampoo to try and clean the tub a bit. I needed to soak my ankle due to having endured a sprained earlier that week, so I had to clean the tub before I was able to soak my foot. There was dirt and grim caked into the grout on the tile floor and the restroom just lacked basic care altogether. The next morning we went to the store and purchased comet and Lysol to clean the restroom on our own. Which I'm glad we did, because that was the last time it was cleaned during our stay. The icing on the cake was on the second day when we found a bug by the window and I purposely left it there to see how well the staff clean the rooms. Let's just say, when we were checking out the bug was still there and I have no doubt it will remain there for the next few weeks. Last, I tried to use the phone to call the front desk as I had a question and to my surprise, the phone wasn't even hooked up or plugged in. I had to call the front desk from my cell phone. If you didn't even care enough to plug in the phone, why would you care about the less than clean restroom or the bug that had a free stay in our room. I didn't report any of this because I just felt the hotel didn't care. I would have had so many complaints that they may have thought I was just nagging. I also, knew we had to stay there for more than one day and I didn't want to risk retaliation from any staff. Upon check out, I was asked how my stay was and I told the lady it was fine. Looking back, I should have told her the truth, but I was ready to get on the road to get back home. I'm pretty sure I won't be staying in a best western in the future due to this negative experience. I was told before I booked a hotel in that area to be open as it's Latta and the hotels might not be that great. I wasn't sure what they meant, but after my stay I think I understand what they were trying to convey.

Construction going on in the lobby. Mold in the bathroom. Fitness center not available. That area was roped off. Breakfast center not available. Also roped off. Carpet in the room was dirty. No toilet tissue in the room. Was told by the maid that there was none in the hotel and there would not be any until "the man" made it there later with some.

We overnighted here as a stopover, long drive from Canada to Florida. Clean quiet, comfortable is what we look for and that's exactly what this one is. The breakfast was plentiful with the usual offerings. We would stay here again.

We stayed here passing through on I-95. Check in was fine. Our room however was not very clean. There were water stains all over the chair and ottoman....really disgusting. The edges of the carpet all around the room hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. The exercise room was quite dirty as well. The shower facet handle was not functioning well and the shower flow was really weak. Breakfast was less than average. The breakfast attendant had to man the desk for checkouts so items ran out and took a long time to be replaced, including coffee. This hotel needs attention. We surely won't be staying here again.

We were on our way to Charleston and stopped for gas. I knew I needed to stop within an hour or so decided to check this place out since it was right there. The checkin clerk was very pleasant the lobby looked clean so..... The room was clean but wifi was spotty TV reception was very poor sports channels were frozen. Had to call lobby for wifi code via cell as room phone didn't work. Bed was ok but a little soft Not bad but overpriced for the issues son was particularly unhappy about tv.

We wish there had been more places for dinner than the bar-b-q 4 miles away and the fast food places nearby. The breakfast area was well arranged so that guests could get at the food without bumping into those already seated. The staff there was very helpful the those unfamiliar with the cooking items. The beds were a little too soft for our taste, but the room was neat and clean. Even had 2 towel bars, while most have only 1. No room for hanging if more then one night. We would stay again if in the area.

The hotel was awesome, located right were we needed to be, the rooms was clean and new, breakfast was awesome. Staff was very friendly and very nice!! If my travels take me that way again, I would most likely stay there again.

Nice sized and conformable rooms. Breakfast included some hot items along with the usual Waffles, toast, bagels, etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially with evening dining options (non-fast food options are a few miles away). The only negative is the chair and ottoman in the room could use a good cleaning. Would stay here again when playing through.

The stale smell in the lobby, somewhat masked by the curry of Indian cooking set the tone for this one. The end tone was a crowd of mostly non-English speaking construction workers crowding around the sparse breakfast buffet. In the middle was the room with beds that challenged a person to find a halfway comfortable spot with enough back support to prevent a backache the next day. The shower was good, but the Internet connection was not. I would definitely skip this one next time.

The room for the night was comfortable. I didn't have a chance to eat the breakfast. Heard it was good. A good place to stay if traveling to/from Florida from the NY NJ area. I booked online and received a very competitive rate. Friendly staff.

My room was not very clean. I found peanut hulls beside the ac unit, mold on the wall in the bathroom and on the handrail in the shower and along the seams in the shower. The beds were comfortable but my sheets were ripped and tattered as if they were old. We had no towels in the room and were told by the front desk that they would put some in our room while we were gone that they were still in the dryer. We came back to the room at 2 am and still no towels. Staff were the best part of the stay. They were very nice. I took some photos with my cell phone but nowhere on here to upload them. I probably won't stay there again.

We had an enjoyable stay at this Best Western hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with all our needs. They gave us great restaurant choices and assisted me in the computer room. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel decided to keep the breakfast open an extra hour because their customers came in late the previous night, due to the Darlington race.

We found the staff, especially at check-in and breakfast to be excellent. The room was clean, we had a complementary fridge and the beds were extremely comfortable, Some areas in our room needed updating, but you can see that renovations and changes are under way. We had a true relaxing time at breakfast and at this hotel before we continued our road trip.
