SureStay Plus by Best Western Jasper

Very nice walked in really clean friendly service. The room was really nice clean. And up-to-date. Has a nice hot tub and swimming area. The towels was nice and fluffy same as the blankets on the bed and pillows. It was a nice a quiet place to stay well worth the money

I had orginally booked a king room. Once I arrived at the hotel, (the place had two cars in the lot), upon check in I was placed in a queen. Also the pet fee online stated $20 per pet, I was charged $27. I didn't say anything because it was late and I was only needing a place to lay my head to sleep for one night. Upon entering room, it was dated, dark, and had a strong odor. Again, I thought its only for a couple of hours, i can make it through. Mites, fleas or some other kind of biting bugs began biting me in room. I was in the room for less than 30 minutes and I knew I couldn't stay. The motel is older, dated but looked clean at first glance...but once in the space it was deceiving. Room smelled of strong urine, mold and deodorizer to hide smell. AC/Heat unit would not kick on to circulate air. The air was so thick it was difficult to breathe. I began getting a sore throat, cough, then came the bites on my leg and ankles from the brief time I was in the space. That was it, I packed up and checked out. If that is not enough to detour you, there is also at least 4 large radio towers and cell tower within steps of the motel. You can feel the radiation. I stopped at a local gas station upon immediate checkout and the attendant told me that place is known to be really bad. I would not recommend to anyone no matter the price. I paid $105, what a rip off. This is not up to Best Western standards and they should not be allowed to use their name.

While this hotel did have some issues (i.e., no exhaust fan in the bathroom), generally it was a fairly nice hotel. Everything worked, lights, refrigerator, microwave, shower and toilet. There is an exercise room, a small indoor pool and a hot tub. There was a pretty good selection for breakfast including scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, a pancake and waffle maker, 3 types of cereal, apples, tangerines, yogurt, 2 kinds of muffins, bagels and bread for toast. There is no breakfast meat, however. Breakfast was from 6:30-9:00 but be forewarned, there is not a whole lot of seating considering the number of rooms in the hotel. Generally, everyone was nice. I could find no major issues with this hotel.

Fantastic place to stay!! We chose this hotel for a family celebration. We all met up, from different states, to go to Holiday World together. I was just looking for a cheap place to stay, for the weekend. Booking the hotel as a package deal, and I couldn't be more pleased!!!! Hotel staff are SUPER polite and helpful! Went above and beyond, for my family. The front desk was AMAZING and even helped us with a surprise for my daughter's birthday! Every staff member I encountered was very polite and cheerful. Best customer service!!! The adjoining rooms were a very nice convenience for us. The beds were very comfortable and they provide several pillows on each bed. Rooms were very clean and soaps were in the room. Fridge is nice and cold. Was wonderful after a long day at the park. The hot tub has several jets and was a very relaxing temperature. The pool is heated and my family enjoyed a few short swims, during our stay. Both were clean and it was fully stocked with large, fluffy towels. Neither were very big but they were still nice to enjoy. The free breakfast was scrambled eggs or biscuits and gravy, for the hot items. They, of course, had a diy waffle station and pancakes. I had waffles but the rest of my family had various other things. Oatmeal, yogurt, bagel and cream cheese.... one person just had juice. It was a nice selection and everything tasted good. We didn't end up buying anything from the little convenience shop, in the lobby, but did look around. We were pleasantly surprised at the selection. My daughter did play some of the hotel games and came back with several balls. None of us used the fitness room. Check out was super easy. We paid our deposit, in cash, so we waited while they checked our rooms. Our deposit was returned, in cash, and away we went. When I booked these rooms, I fully expected a minimal experience. It was very reasonably priced and a short drive from Holiday World. The pictures of the outside, on the web, aren't very flattering, so you expect that you are only going to get clean sheets and some sort of bed. The experience FAR EXCEEDS your expectations!! The rooms are very clean and comfortable! The staff are the best part!! I HIGHLY recommend to everyone!!!

Our room was extremely clean and everything was in working order. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was good and snack bar open 24 hours! We had a great experience!

The room felt very damp. My grandson has been sick with cold like symptoms since returning. Hoping there wasn't a mold situation in there. The shower tile in the bathroom had been painted and the paint was peeling off. The staff was friendly but I don't feel like it was a 4+ star hotel like it was rated in line. It was in the middle of an industrial area and at 6:30 am some guy at the engine shop was tossing metal beams around with a fork lift.

The air conditioner did not work the first night. They gave us fans to use. The room smelled musty and was very muggy feeling. Breakfast was pretty good, they had a waffle maker, pancake maker, eggs, biscuits, gravy, bagel, cereal, juice, coffee, and oatmeal.

We chose this hotel because it got great reviews and were disappointed. The good stuff: Service and cleanliness were excellent. The ok: the breakfast was on par with similar hotels. Adequate but not great. The Bad: the room is in desperate need of a remodel. The bathroom was scary, peeling tile and tub, cracked and pitted floor tile, and ceiling was discolored. The microwave was broken. The dresser was missing its handles. The bed was rock hard.

Hotel is in EST time zone, different than Holiday World. The room had a musty smell that effected my allergies. There were multiple sticky spots on the carpet upon checkin. The staff was welcoming and accommodating! The breakfast was the same both days.

Very clean nice room Felt very comfortable loved the kitchenette in our room! Breakfast was great loved there waffles! Very friendly staff. Loved the security of the entrance to Get in and out!!

Room was clean. Loved the pool and hot tub. Nice breakfast. The room was very nice and the woman at the front desk was very nice. Loved the work out room. It's a good place to stay. I will stay there again as i did in the past.

I am impressed with the cleanliness of the Hotel. I was on business trip and stayed for a week. Breakfast was good and healthy choices. I will stay at SureStay Hotel again and I recommend to all travelers.

A little bit a challenge to find - the entrance is off the main street. Clean older property. Well maintained -but you can see that age is taking it toll. Comfortable beds - rather hard pillows. TV - temperaturer control, internet worked verycwell...;;. Quiet. Went to the pool and hot tub - very small bur refreshing. Pool are was very clean.

We stayed at Sure Stay in Jasper, IN to take our kids to Holiday World. On the way down, our vehicle broke down. We thought the trip was ruined due to no Lyft or Uber services. The owner graciously offered his son to drive us to Holiday World to save our trip! We had to extend our stay and it was no problem. The staff/owners went far above and beyond and for that I am so grateful! If we visit the area again, we will definitely stay at this hotel. My kids loved the heated pool after a long day of walking around Holiday World!! The owner even called me the night we checked out to make sure we made it back to Indianapolis safely!! I can not thank them enough. The Currins

This hotel deserves five stars. Our family enjoyed staying here. Pool and hot tub is great. Hot Breakfast is good. I highly recommend SureStay Plus hotel to all travellers and will definitely come back.

Horrible does not even begin to describe it. Bugs, dirty, old, no elevator, noisy, smelly heater. Run well you can. Will never stay at this hotel again. The worst motel I have ever stayed at, and I have stayed with many.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and the staff I spoke to were friendly, hospitable, accommodating, and answered any questions I had. I was able to get individualized drinks at the bar at times later than most hotels would stay open. The hot tub hit the spot, was relaxing, and the jets soothed my muscles. I highly recommend and I found the place to be the best bang for your buck. I plan on returning the next time I'm in the area and or visiting Holiday World.

During the booking process , before we arrived, Sonia was most helpful in arranging golf tee times at two courses during our 3 day stay (for 10 of us ) The rooms were clean and comfortable and all staff very polite and pleasant. A good value hotel

Very clean inside and out. Staff was friendly and always met my needs. Highly recommend. Close to town , A and nearby attractions. Very reasonably priced. I used the hot tub frequently. Pool area was always clean and a nice way to relax after a long day at work.

Clean rooms helpful staff. Room and hotel clean, nice hot tub good for after a day of walking at Holiday world with the kids. Nice free breakfast in the mornings. Good price for hotel near the park about 18 miles. Got rooms as part of package deal with Holiday Wold Splash and Safari. Family had a great time.

We decided to take the grandkids for a last minute summer vacation before school started back up to holiday world. The hotel accommodated my request with connecting rooms. The kids and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub both nights. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable!!

This is the best budget hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. The room was clean, the family who managed this property was professional, very attentive and very responsive to any inquiry. The cleaning staff were friendly and professional. This hotel has a pool, workout area, laundry and the daily breakfast was always ready at 6am. I would recommend this location for a short or longer stay. Great overall experience!

This hotel is a family-run business and it is excellent!! I highly recommend when visiting the Jasper's area. Excellent family and pet-friendly hotel conveniently located by Highway 231 in Jasper. Close to Jasper attractions - Riverwalk, Spirit of Jasper etc. Room is clean. Pool (see pic) is small but perfect for kids and yourself to cool off after a hot day. Thumbs up on the full breakfast every morning. Sonia and family went above and beyond. We had vehicle trouble on our way back from Santa Claus and Lincoln to the hotel. Needed a ride back to Jasper to get an auto part. Since it was a July 4th weekend, we had trouble getting a ride, no Uber or other car service available, not even a Hoosier highway helper. Short of stopping a total stranger to hitch a ride or calling 911, we called Sonia to see if she has other recommendation. (Not recommending that you do this to your hotelier: Sonia ended up sending her husband with the needed auto parts to my husband, and a ride back to town to O'Reilly to exchange a part, and their son gave my dh a ride back to our vehicle. ) So, yeah, they did more than what was required! Thank you Sonia & family!

We had an excellent stay at SureStay Plus Best Western hotel. Tasty full hot breakfast, clean rooms and welcoming staff. Property is well maintained. We will come back in future and recommend this hotel.

Ms Sonya up front is always so nice! Anything I've needed she has been great about getting it the rooms are great clean there is wifi, TV , ac/heat, fridge and microwave,there is a hot tub, and a pool, good breakfast also! Highly recommend this motel

Beds are hard so are pillows very nosey breakfast is cold green eggs gross people can't understand stand them it was the worst stay I've ever stayed at can't believe best western sent me here bathroom and tub I had to clean very disappointed

This is a quiet motel near all stores, tourist sites etc - it has a pleasant indoor pool and large hot job/jacuzzi and a workout room, hot breakfasts, nice big rooms with all plug-ins and amenities, and very pleasant, helpful, efficient staff/management. We have stayed here before and will do do again!

This hotel is actually in a great location not far from many lovely scenic walks and restaurants and other amenities. Wonderful helpful staff! The place was very clean and pleasant; will definitely be returning.

Our room was small and dark. Noisy a/c unit - we had to turn it off to go to sleep. No meat or bread at breakfast. Pool & hot tub were closed. Staff was friendly and location was convenient, but overall I was not impressed.

We had an extended stay at this hotel waiting for our home to be finished. They even accommodated our cats! It is very clean and everyone is very friendly. They are working very hard to update this property and it shows! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The place was very nice and the pool and jacuzzi was also great. The owners were very nice people and easy to talk to , they accommodated all of my needs. they have a good breakfast with fruit, oatmeal, waffles and more... It was very clean and tidy and the rooms are great as well!! I would recommend this hotel for sure!!!!

The motel was kind of hard to find & lg truck blocking entrence so thought maybe it wasn't a motel since name not on doors either. But though it was dated it was very clean & price was great. Breakfast not for a working person...sweets or bread. But would have stayed again if there was someone present at desk, got tired of waiting.

Once again I had an excellent stay. Everyone treated me like family and not just another client. The entire staff were extremely friendly, courteous, professional and accommodating. The room was very clean and included all the amenities that anyone would need. I will never stay at any other place in Jasper.

As a contractor I've been to many different hotels and I enjoyed this place. The people are really kind and helped me with anything I needed. The internet is really good and doesn't cost extra which is a plus.

The front desk clerk was rude. She wanted us to stay on the second floor but with no elevator and me having had recent knee surgery we needed a room on the first floor. The room was freezing cold and it took quite a while for the heater to warm up. There was ice all over by the front door which was very unsafe. There were very few items for breakfast. The same front desk clerk couldn't get me a receipt because some other program was running. We waited 10 minutes for the receipt and she did not seem very happy that we waited

Any time I need or want to stay in a hotel, I always go to sure stay. The staff is friendly and helpful the pool and hot tub is nice. The hot tub temperature needs to be hotter and more breakfast options

Modern and pretty. The breakfast bar fully stocked. The pool and hot tube area are just as pretty as the dining area. The staff very accommodating and professional. While showing the care they give the guest. Great stay.

Me and my family have came to Jasper several times and Everytime we come we stay at the Surestay. The staff is always very accommodating, rooms are nice and well maintained and the pool is always a plus for my family. If your ever in Jasper looking for a place to stay I highly recommend trying out the Surestay.

Great place to stay and very convenient to Holiday World. I am very impressed with the hotel and the staff. My daughter left her Airpods in the room after checking out and did not realize it until after the long drive home. We thought we would never see them again. Pet friendly hotel is convenient if you have pets. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. Very clean and a great location. It is nice to have a fridge and microwave in your room. Very nice pool and breakfast area. Great beds and pillows - slept well! Location is close to several different restaurants which is convenient, as well. Management is friendly and willing to help in any way by honoring requests in reservation.

Jasper the town is nothing to get excited about; however, if you are in town it's for a specific reason. Stay at SureStay. The quaint hotel is family owned and operated and nestled away from the main thoroughfare. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. Even the young sons are polite and respectful like my young nephews. Any problems that we had was resolved immediately. The hotel staff ensured they stayed out of our way and didn't bother us but quick to respond should we needed anything. The also have a cozy bar and retro arcade games.

Renovated 2 story hotel for cost much below all others in Jasper. Greeting clerk was very pleasant and suggested the best restaurants. Our stay ended up being two nights. The room and bath were clean and inviting. Amenities included hair dryer, iron, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, and tv. And also indoor swimming pool, hot tub, snack bar with beer to purchase, breakfast from 6-9 am (fresh fruit, yogurt, toast waffles, etc. We would recommend as an excellent value

They charged me $95 instead of $35 because I had rewards. Place was disgusting and they were super rude. It was 3:30 am and all I wanted to do was get some rest! These people didn't know what they were doing. Had to call the 1-800 number just to submit a claim.

Our entire team stayed at the hotel for two nights in August 2021. The front desk staff took care of anything we needed. The rooms were clean and everything went well. Many hotels in Jasper are quite expensive. This was the best bargain for a good stay on a smaller budget. We were happy with how it worked out.

We stayed 2 nights at this property.The room was clean and quiet,beds comfortable,tv reception was fine.We did not use the pool but it looked like it was being maintained.A limited breakfast was provided,which was fine for us.Coffee was provided in the room,which was nice.The bathtowels are oversized and very nice! There is also a bar that we got a couple of beers from at night so we didn't have to go back out.There is also a mini store for snacks or light meals if you want.All in all,it was a nice stay.We have had very good luck with Best Western.

We stayed at the Sure Stay Plus Hotel this weekend and I was very pleased with the rooms(rm 220) and hospitality from the staff, the pool area was nice and well-kept.. the staff at the front desk are sweet, friendly and the customer service with any request exceeded my expectations! They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable! We will definitely be back!

We had a very enjoyable stay at SureStay Plus Jasper. About 30 minutes from Holiday World, clean rooms and polite service. Jasper is also a fun town to check out...recommend Schnitzelbank Restaurant in Jasper and St. Benedict's Brew Works in Ferdinand if you are staying here. Will stay again. Thanks!

At Sure Stay Hotel I began my life in Jasper, IN. The people working there are really nice and always trying to make the accommodations nice and ready for us. Thank you for making a whole month great.

Our stay @ Sure Stay Best Western Jasper was great! Sonia was amazing, had a very easy and quick check-in. Both rooms we had were very clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels and complimentary toiletries. Would recommend this location to anyone traveling thru or even in an emergency if your local!! Definitely would return and stay when we do Holiday World again!

This hotel was amazing! They are super friendly, REALLY clean, have so many amenities and yummy breakfast with fresh coffee, for free! There's a hot tub and pool also!! I can't get over how super clean it all was!!!!

Great location and close to Holiday World. Great price! Hot tub was very nice and relaxing. Rooms were comfy and clean. Staff was very kind and helpful! We were very impressed with the breakfast as there were lots of options and a nice waffle/pancake station.

They said they could say it was hot breakfast because you can make a waffle-no eggs or meat or pastries. Fruit was only apples. Room was small but worked. Nicely remodeled but bathtub was peeling & toilet was cracked. Beds not comfortable-very old.

We decided to stay here during a Holiday World trip because of the reviews that I saw on this hotel. I was ok driving further away from Holiday World for a better hotel, but was beyond disappointed. The room had a old smoke smell and my youngest was coughing due to the smell. This is definitely an older run down hotel. The pool is VERY small and our room was TERRIBLE. The bathroom shower floor was completely coming apart. My kids were crying because they didn't want to get in the shower. It was that BAD. The staff was nice, but other than that I have nothing really great to say. One of the main reasons we stayed was because it seemed that had a decent breakfast. We were excited to go eat waffles only to find out breakfast stopped at 9:30. So we had to run to a gas station for food. No one told us at check in that breakfast stopped that early. If you are going on a Holiday World trip I do not recommend making the trip all the way here. You are better off staying closer at another hotel. We almost left the hotel to try and find a new one. Thankfully we were only there 1 night.

We had a late check in Thursday July 22nd - went smoothly. Only "bump" was realizing there is no elevator - which meant carrying all of our bags up to the second floor. Room was fine - standard - fairly clean. Bathroom showed more wear and tear than I would like but nothing drastic! AC worked great. We kept DND tag on door during our stay so did not have housekeeping come in. Smallest hotel pool I've ever seen. Not what we were really there for, it just seemed more like a hot tub than a pool - size wise! So be aware! They had some arcade games, claw machines in one area that my son enjoyed playing. Overall our stay was good. The hotel is kind of on the edge of town but once we figured things out it was a quick drive to fast food or various restaurants in or near downtown Jasper.

Stayed 3 days here. Price is good but you get what you pay for. Place is very run down and dirty. The toilet in our room had mildew around the rim, mildew all over the soap dish in tub and the tub drain had a huge chunk of the tub coating flapping up and it had mildew under it. Carpet filthy, had to wear socks to keep feet clean. Window by air conditioner was very dirty inside and out. Front desk is not 24 hr! many times during the day and evening we tried to get towels and no one was ever there! Could not even buy snacks because no one was ever around, they are gone a lot into their rooms as they live there. A handyman was there on one of our stops and he was kind enough to get us some towels. The so called lounge is just a short counter with a few stools and no one there to serve you! This place is very run down, dirty and very outdated. When by some slim chance you see the people who own/work there such as at breakfast they are rude!!!! Never again.

It was our first trip to Indiana to visit Holiday World. Our room was great with the exception of the fitted sheet coming off all the time. The hotel was in a great location, dining close by and just a short 20 min drive to Holiday World! We even decided to stay an extra night and it wasn't a problem even got to stay in the same room!! Thanks for a great vacation!!

Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean & nicely decorated. Nice to have the small fridge and microwave. Breakfast included fresh made pancakes & waffles, in addition to the usual continental offerings. The hotel even has a bar that offers a large assortment & great prices!

A big group of us were visiting Jasper Indiana from Missouri to take the kids to Holiday World and we booked our rooms at Sure Stay and I just have to say this was such a clean hotel I was really impressed. We had never been there so we didnt know what to expect but I have to say the staff was so friendly and the rooms were so clean. They have an indoor pool and also a nice hot tub. If you are planning a trip to Holiday World or just visiting Jasper i would definitely recommend staying at Sure Stay. Just a tip for adults there is a really cool little hometown bar down the street called JR's bar everyone there is so friendly and welcoming you will want to try it out if you want a night out without the kids.

This Hotel had the best bang for your buck on price. My family stayed her to enjoy our fun trip to Holiday World. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The internet service was free and the breakfast was a plus.

Really enjoyed our overnight stay at the SureStay Plus Hotel in Jasper. Everywhere we went it was clean and the staff was professional and caring. The large circular wood-framed mirror in the room was interesting, along with the mid-century motif corner lamp. Housekeeping was fantastic! Best sleep of a multi-day trip.

The pool was much smaller than shown, the bathroom had globs of hair everywhere, the sheets had a wet spot with matching stain when you rolled down the blankets. The breakfast was a full on brawl and covid trap, internet was a few steps above dial-up. Whatever you do, do not try to run on the treadmill. The belts all slip due to damage and it will throw you off.

Room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked. Toiletries and coffee were there, but very sparse. Soundproofing is poor, and the hotel attracts a lot of families with young children who are going to a nearby amusement park. My room was next to the pool, and the noise from screscreaming children was constant.

We stood in the lobby for several minutes and were greeted by a teenager, and then proceeded to wait for the ‘manager' for several more minutes. Felt like we got a terrible room because we had our two small dogs with us. The tub was damaged and just had vinyl sheets covering the peeling/damaged coating. Sheets and pillows were dingy and floors still had bits of trash from previous guest. Shouldn't have to pay $25/dog and still get a worn out room. For $140, we should have gone elsewhere.

Very friendly staff. Very clean. They provided as much as possible for breakfast in accordance with COVID restrictions/guidelines. Nice mattress for good sleep. Indoor pool and hot tub open. I visit the Jasper area in the future, I would stay here. Thank you staff.

The hotel is GREAT!!!! Rooms are super nice and the owners are so nice!!!! Great pool and hot tub as well. We couldn't have asked for anything better!!! We will be staying here a lot!!!! We try to get away a few times a month and we don't even have to leave town!!!!!

Clean very clean comfortable beds the staff was very friendly I highly recommend this hotel it's the lowest price in town book through the front desk I highly recommend this so many times your book online and mistakes are made just call the front desk and book.

Our second stay here - facility has clean, well supplied rooms, good wifi, open swimming and spa pools, breakfast offerings, pleasant helpful management, and reasonable rates. We were given a room suitable to my veteran husband's needs. We feel at home here and will be back next time we are visiting in Jasper -- thanks!

We found this motel last year and stay here whenever we are in the area on business. It's quiet, reasonably priced, and normally has a great breakfast. We'll be back again next week and will make reservations again.

I am a Best Western Rewards Member, have been for 30+ years. This by far was the best experience ever had with any I've been to. Friendly, courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, etc. Rooms for the price; great. If you are a BW rewards member and you are on a budget, stay here! Especially do NOT go to the Surestay in Evansville on US 41, especially if you have pets, you will be charged for 2 even if you only have one! And you will not be reimbursed either!! Terrible management there. Thank goodness the Jasper Surestay knows their businesses and treats their customers with respect.

The staff both on phone reservation and desk check-in were pleasant and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, plenty of plugins, excellent wifi, comfy bed, cold fridge, shamppo, lotion etc, and we were given a room that accommodates my veteran husband's special needs for nearby parking, luggage cart, etc. The motel boasts an indoor swimming pool and hot water spa pool, a rarity and very well used and appreciated by guests - also includes extra towels. We have friends in the area and will come back to this excellent facility.

We were passing thru Indiana on the way to Tennessee and stopped for the night. Well taken care of property. Clean, friendly and quiet. The pool and hot tub were clean and refreshing. Didn't have breakfast due to Covid , but fresh coffee in the lobby was appreciated, Good value! It is in an industrial area but it was no problem for us.

We spent a night with the grand kids for fall break here. Front desk was absolutely fantastic. The room was very clean, beds were super comfy. Already planning another visit. The kids loved the arcade, swimming pool and hot tub. After a busy day with the kids the two complimentary drinks hit the spot.

I was very impressed with the efficiency of the check-in/out process at the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and well-maintained. They adapted well to the COVID-19 restrictions by offering an alternative to their breakfast options.

The price was right for this hotel and it was certainly clean but my daughter and I were way too far from French Lick for our liking. We were looking for something cheaper so I could stay with her son while my daughter coached at a gymnastics meet at the French Lick resort. What a hike for her for an evening session and a next morning session. But it was very clean and nice for entertaining my grandson.

This is a well located, fairly priced, well managed and maintained place to stay. You will also receive Best Western points. Make sure you try the grab-n-go free breakfast as well as the fully stocked food, drink and snack pantry area. If you get bored one evening there are great new car lots within walking distance.

Start by saying that the room was clean except for the bed sheets which did not appear to be fresh, cleaned sheets. Other than that I cannot give a lot of positive comments about this stay. First off it was hard to find anyone around that worked there, no one was ever at the front desk. Both of the employees that we saw spoke very broken English, so it was hard to understand what they were saying. If you are going to deal with an English speaking clientele you should have people working at the place that can be understood. Due to the Covid pandemic most hotels are limited as far as what they can serve for the complementary breakfast, but this place has used it as an excuse to offer almost nothing. The breakfast offering was coffee, apple, and yogurt, thats it. There were many other items that come individually wrapped that could have been offered such as cereals, muffins or pastries, bananas, etc. but despite the fact that they were saving money by not offering hot items, they just decided to go cheap and basically offer nothing and blame it on Covid. Other places we have stayed at have figured out ways to offer a variety of breakfast items that are still in keeping with health guidelines. Will look for other places next time.

This was the only place we could find a room for overnight stay on Labor Day weekend we were traveling back home to IL. We ended up in a handicap accessible room which is fine the floor seemed a little sticky I found it interesting hotels now have toilet paper that is like a small roll and no longer put a full roll of toilet paper in the bathrooms the breakfast in the morning we skipped because it was a sack one or cold muffins and a few other cold items so we just went down the road to McDonald's for a warm meal I know this is because of the virus but it would've been nice to have a warm meal

We were passing through on a cross country road trip. We wanted to stay just outside of a crowded city - which this definitely was. This was our first stop after stressful traveling through raining mountain roads, arriving after 2 o'clock in the morning! We were warmly greeted and with all the proper “COVID precautions” checked in. Although the room / bathroom showed age, it was impeccably clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was remarkably Great! The towels were even large and fluffy! I never would've expected but all was a welcomed surprise. The most memorable of this brief stay was the kindness with which we were received both at checkin and checkout (same person). THAT alone can make such a positive experience.

This hotel was real clean and the workers where real nice they made us feel like we where at home not onece they hesitated to get anything we asked them they where 100 percent respectful I wld recommend this hotel

Hotel is about 25 minutes away from Holiday World. We purchased a ticket package through Holiday World's website. Very clean pool and hot tub. Was hardly anyone else there when we were there from Thursday through Sunday, so that was nice. Bring quarters for arcade games if you want, there are a few. Huntingburg Stadium is very close to the hotel, which is where A League of Their Own was filmed. We went to a baseball game there and really enjoyed it. Bummer that no hot breakfast was served due to the virus, but that's not the hotel's fault.

Stayed at the surestay best western hotel in jasper Indiana. The place is homey couldnt hear the people in the next room. The hot tub and pool was good I was able to relax in the hot tub and the pool.

Room was not clean. Room and motel smelled awful. I itched through the night and the air continued to kick off instead of stay on. The clerk did refund the rest of our stay and we went elsewhere, so that was a positive.

Pretty good experience for all of us. Air conditioning did not work properly in the hallways, but was fine in the room. We got there late so most places were closed for supper already due to COVID so it was nice to be able to buy snacks from the lobby. Will stay here again next time we are in the area.

Beds were nice, hot tub and pool were open which was great. It's about 20 minutes from Holiday World. The breakfast was a packed sac of a nutrition bar, apple, & water. They are short on outlets by the bed for charging phones. Entrance to hotel looks shady, but once inside it's great. A room like this typically goes for around $80 when not near a resort area.

Hotel was pretty quiet, but a little disappointing when we went for breakfast and received a small bottle of water, apple the size of a lemon and a granola bar (that's all). No juice, no coffee, no cereal, no nothing - very disappointed. Other places we stayed had milk, juice, cereal, coffee, yogurt, and plenty to start your day. Phone in room did not work, remote had no back to it and we were told to throw our towels out in the hallway, and go to front desk to get more towels and shampoo and conditioner. Also, keys had to be re-done four times as did not work on outside doors coming in and then had to walk from back to front desk to get cards re-done

the best western in jasper,in was not far to go to hoildayworld and safari the hotel was clean and nice size of the room we had a great time at the park with my family and the hotel was a great place to stay at

We stayed here while motorcycling and we had our small dog with us. The "dog friendly" room was very nice.....clean and well maintained. It was located at the end of the building, very close to an exit. Unfortunately, there is nowhere for the dog to go potty. I had to walk around to the other side of the building to find a patch of grass for her. We visited during the pandemic so we could not enjoy the breakfast or the pool. It's on the outskirts, but there is a bar/grill within walking distance, Mac-A-Doos, which was awesome!! Outside eating area, great food, friendly employees. All-in-all, we really enjoyed our overnight stay here!

I have been staying here with my team for business about two months. Very clean, carpets are like brand new. The smell of the entire hotel is very clean and pleasant. Most important factor is that the overall cleanliness of the hotel is excellent!!!!The owners take great pride in their hotel. Staff is very very nice and go above and beyond! Hot tub and pool are very well maintained. Personal note I use the hot tub every night after work, amazing and clean. Breakfast and the accompaniments are incredible. Also they have a bar and convenience items available. The beds are very comfortable and they have duvet type bed comforters. Rooms are very palatial and have space to store stuff if needed. Internet is excellent, and security at this hotel is the best I have seen. I am in the security/protection industry, and this hotel is superb!! If you find yourself passing through or near bye and need a Great Place to Stay. I implore you to give this great place a try.

My husband and I had to make an emergency rest stop for the night. We looked up nearby hotels and were immediately attracted to the spa hot tub offered to all guest at SureStay Plus. The room was fantastic.The bathroom was clean towels and the bathroom essentials was neatly stocked. We were given a code to high speed wifi access, which my husband was able to use to on his laptop. We watched A blockbuster movie that came out in 2018 on the tv, provided with channel guides. What could have been a irritating situation, SureStay Plus provided the best solution. Oh did I mention they offer free breakfast?

This hotel is quite nice - rooms very clean and completely updated remodel on the inside. Quiet too. Bed very comfortable. Nice staff. Everything in good working order. Great location for Jasper activities and not far at all to Ferdinand and St. Meinrad. Breakfast was ample as hot tea, a waffle, and banana and yogurt always work for me. I will return to Jasper 3-4 times for 2020 and I will stay here again.

Our first time in Indiana. The city of Jasper is small as it is. The hotel was lonely during our stay and the most secluded from the town. The hotel provided breakfast but it didn't have a whole variety.

From check-in to check-out, our stay at this hotel was great! Breakfast was so convenient and tasty. Pet friendly mad out trip so much better. Very accommodating and convenient location. Friendly and kind staff, as well.

I recently visited Jasper on a family trip and stayed at SureStay by Best Western. It is a family run hotel. The management is friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in quiet location but close to town. The room was clean and the breakfast was good I even used the gym both days . We had a great stay. I would recommend it and definitely stay again.

12/3/19-- Arrived 12/4 and was promptly greeted by Erin. She arranged for me to view the room in advance. A very nice man (Carlos) showed me the room and it was above expectations. When I called the desk later to verify the wifi, again Erin couldn't have been more pleasant and cordial. I would highly recommend SureStay-Rt. 19, Clearwater,to anyone staying in this area. The bed was exceptionally comfortable which is important to me or anyone with back issues. I hope that future guests get to have ERIN handle their reservations.

Beware of possibly uncomfortable beds. on two separate stays, one king room and one double queen, both stays were similar...very firm beds. the first stay I thought it was just me, but with 3 other family members uncomfortable and unable to get a full sleep due to firm beds I have concluded the owners need to upgrade all beds. pool and hot tub were very nice and clean, probably because of the few guests using them! Breakfast was less than stellar, rubbery egg patties... I guess the saying rings true...you get what you pay for. Splurge and go down the road to the Holiday inn express! That is our regular hotel, we were just trying to save a few dollars. Not planning on staying at Sure Stay Jasper in the future.

As a business woman travelling alone I felt very safe at this hotel. I requested a first floor room and it was very nice. Ground floor was not noisey. I stayed during the recent cold snap - really, really cold weather, and the heat in my room worked great - I could control the temp as well as the fan: Low, High or Auto and all settings worked well and were not noisey. There was always plenty of hot water for showers. The in-room coffeemaker was great - not one of those one-cup wonders, but a real 4-cup coffee maker with its own little coffee pot. To me, coffee is a very important food group! Everyone who worked at the hotel that I encountered was pleasant and very polite - everyone was quite eager to please. Breakfasts were good with many choices: hot foods, cereals, toast, donuts, mini-muffins, bagels, fruit, yogurt, and the list goes on. Having a fridge and microwave in the room was a plus. Parking was easy, finding the location was also easy, Everything was clean, wifi worked well, the room was well-lit (important for me doing paperwork) the desk and rolling office chair in the room were very comfortable. I don't know what else to say - other than I wish it was a pleasure trip instead of a business trip - but either way, this hotel has a lot going for it!

This is the best place to stay i jasper hands hands down. The owner will do anything to take care of you. Got caught in pooring down rain bringing my stuff in late at night and Gagan brought them In and made sure they were ready to go the next morning!! I'd stay here any day!!!!

One of the best hotels I've been to! they have everything set for you. me and my co workers love it here. this definitely the spot if you are ever around this area. I will continue to spend with you guys

This is a 2 story hotel with no elevators. Arrived at 3:30 could not check in until 5 due to rooms not getting cleaned on time. When we arrived in our room no bedspread dirty coffee pot with mold. They say the have Showtime bot not found on TV. Front dest not sure why. Had trouble checking in front desk could not speak English very well. Rooms were ok but would not return due to many other problems

Super clean and smelled nice! From the lobby, hallway, room, to the pool. Every area of the hotel was spotless and decorated nicely. We really enjoyed our stay here. Nice choice of pillows to choose from and soft linens. Friendly staff and very helpful. The breakfast was hot with a good variety, not just cereal and toast. Centrally located to Holiday World and parks etc...Very pretty drive.They also have a mini store with lots of food items, drinks (alcohol and non-alcohol) and items for kids. Will definitely stay here again.

Good price however carpets need deep cleaning not just vacuuming. The rooms are well sized however the HVAC system is extremely noisy and turns and off all night so you cannot sleep. The outside area has a bar and some snacks. I would ask please to figure out how to make the HVAC system less noisy it is very diaturbing.

we came to stay at a hotel because we were going to Holiday world. The front desk staff was courteous and kind. They did allow us to check in early which was nice. The rooms were clean however the beds were hard as a rock. It was like sleeping on the floor. The internet is not fast internet at all. In Total it was a average hotel for what we were staying for.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years. The service is always excellent, the rooms are clean and breakfast is hot with a nice selection. The other hotels in town tend to run at least $50 more per night, so when we are staying three and four nights in a row that is a significant savings for us. I would recommend this hotel for those who want nice and reasonable.

What a lovely clean place. The bed was awesome, towels were clean and soft. Breakfast area was new and unbelievably clean. Everyone working there went out of there way to be helpful, they always smiled and greeted us.

My fiance and I were at a different hotel and had an awful experience. We left the terrible hotel we were at around 11 pm. So we reached out to the Best Western in Jasper and they had just one room left available for us. Understanding that we had a stressful evening already the staff was so very friendly reserved the room for us over the phone and got us checked in, provided complimentary drinks and even understood that it might be a late check out since we weren't getting there until just before midnight. It really was so restful after such a stressful evening. Very clean and the bed was sooo comfortable! We should have chosen this hotel first and we will certainly do so next time we visit that area!

We enjoyed everything about our stay. Staff was super friendly, every place that we looked was exceptionally clean. Rooms were very comfortable also. The pool and hot tub were very clear and fresh. Wonderful place to spend time. I felt like I was staying at more of a "high end" hotel.

The gentleman that checked us out went "over and above" trying to help me get registered as a member to get rewards We would totally recommend this hotel to anyone. We would be happy to stay at that hotel if we were back in that area.

The managers of this particular hotel are very gracious and friendly. I would recommend them and their place of business to anyone coming to stay in the Japer area. My family and I will be back! They had a great breakfast and were considerate of anything extra things that we needed.

Pool was cold. Breakfast ran out by 9am. 2nd night we had emergency and should have gone home at 11:30 pm but couldn't get refund. 2 people at desk when I went to buy candy but after making my choice and going to pay they were gone in back room. Rang buzzer and no one came so didn't get candy. I could here them laughing in back room. So this was not worth $95. Only good thing was the rooms were clean

Very nice staff, no restaurants located near the hotel at all. Merchandise in lobby was severely over priced, I bought a small back of Doritos that they clearly took out of a family bag for resale, a pack of crackers and a small pack of Cheeze its, total was $5.67.

Really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was very quiet. (Should note that I stayed midweek, so there weren't many guests.) The common area and my room was very clean and well maintained. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good - not just muffins and bread. I really had a restful stay!

Hotel was older but totally renovated indoors and out. Friendly service from the front door until the end of the stay. Facility was clean throughout and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was hot and cold--wish it was open later than 9 a.m. Someone said it was at an inconvenient location but it really wasn't, right off of 231. It isn't a fancy place to stay but very pleasant overall and a good price as well!

Great staff .... always accommodating....They let me check in early because they do business with my company and they know we work the 3rd shift....there is a small bar in the front lounge and they have 24 hour snacks available

Motel was located in a bit of an odd place, but the staff and the amenities were awesome. The room was very clean, and very well stocked with towels. If I'm ever out by Jasper again, I will definitely be staying at this location!

My husband and I booked this hotel based on the reviews we saw on TripAdvisor and Google. After staying at this property, I doubt that the reviews are genuine. They certainly didn't match what we observed. The mattress in our room sagged and felt like the springs were broken. The elastic on the fitted bottom sheet was so worn out that the sheet wouldn't even stay on the bed. The air conditioning unit was noisy and sounded like a freight train when it came on, waking us up frequently during the night. The floor was filthy. I wiped a wet tissue over the floor and it came back black. At checkout, when I showed the tissue to the front desk clerk all she did was tell us that she would let housekeeping know. And when I mentioned all of the other issues, she said we'd have to talk to the manager and the manager wasn't in yet (at 9:30 on a weekday morning). There are several other motels in the Jasper area that looked much nicer. We definitely will NOT be returning to this motel.

Staff was very friendly and so helpful during our 2 night stay at Best Western in Jasper Indiana for our sons wedding. When we needed anything they were right there to help us from needing a needle and thread to more wash cloths and towels. Breakfast crew were awesome, making sure food items were replenished. Definitely would stay again!

We stayed here because we planned to go to Holiday World which was just a short drive away. Clean hotel, nice rooms, tasty breakfast. It was a great choice for us! It was also a good value. Bed was very comfortable, too.

Pleasant staff and a nice little breakfast spread. We used this hotel as a before and after Holiday World visit. It is within 30 minutes of the park. There is a gas station close by and Dominoes delivers to the hotel.

We were visiting family at Jasper and stayed at Best Western which is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed. Super neat and clean rooms, lobby and pool. Parking lot well maintained. Healthy choices at breakfast. Highly recommend to every one and will definitely stay again.

We will never stay there again, needed a good cleaning and deodorized. Desk staff was unconcerned that it was dirty. The only redeeming quality was Andrea the breakfast staff, worked constantly stocking refilling and cleaning. Price was to high,less than the $153 we paid.

Great staff, great value! Entrance was a bit hidden. Pool was small but we enjoyed having it as something a little extra. Alcohol selection was great and staff was very attentive. Room was nice, but could've used a bit more detailed cleaning (corners and behind furniture had dust and cobwebs). The bedding was nice and clean. Good location with great value for a Holiday World trip!

My stay was very very good! The facilities, the room, the parking lot, all of it was very clean. The young woman who checked me in was very kind not only to myself but to my 8 year old daughter. Traveling with just her can be tough but the staff made us feel very welcome.

Nice clean hotel for a quick overnight, indoor pool and hot tub. Room as spacious and clean, comfy bed, good sleep. Front desk clerks were super friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Little hard to navigate to find but I still highly recommend, could be a little more economical tho, about 10-15% over priced.

We stayed here the night since we had to visit cemeteries and it was close to Holiday World. The hotel appeared clean, however, my niece woke up with bug bites. The pool was small but clean. The breakfast was horrible. The sausage was bad and I have been sick since Monday.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff is helpful, kind, and would go out of there way to help, This hotel is clean, The pool is clean as is the hot tub, Me and my Wife had a great time.We also found the location to be near everything we wanted.

This property is very clean comfortable and welcoming. When you travel every week of the year, you appreciate when you find a great property. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We had a handicap room that was spacious clean and comfortable. The bath had numerous bars for assist and safety. The shower chair attached to the tub very securely and swiveled, making for easy in/out. Hand held showerhead that raised and lowered helped to make the whole bathing experience a comfortable, safe experience. All amenities were in great working order, and the internet was quick and reliable. They have a pool and hot tub. Unfortunately did not have swimwear, but will next time. Did not do breakfast, so cant review. They have a small bar area with a variety of ales for those who want to socialize and relax without going off property. Be sure and give them a try when in the area...you won't regret it.

Small hotel. The staff was very nice. Very nice and met our needs for the night. The air conditioner ran okay but think it may need serviced. Had to crank it all the way down to 60 and fan speed on high to stay comfortable. But we managed and I did not complain. Breakfast was excellent. Price was right on stay. All in all nothing to complain about. Sonia at front desk is excellent.

Good value for your money. Pool is very small but very clean and well maintained. Was perfect for our small children. Older property but clean and well kept with very friendly staff. My family had a great stay.

Very impressed. An older motel, but updated with new beds, newer carpet, big TV, microwave, fridge, etc. And not even a hint of the musty smell you sometimes expect from an older place - everything very clean. Big breakfast including hot choices that change daily, plus yogurts & fruit, cereals, pastries, the works. Beer & pantry items available. Didn't use them but saw a fitness room & nice small pool. Staff friendly & helpful, especially the attendant at breakfast. Quiet location but within a mile of a big IGA grocery, lots of fast food, and gas. For all this (with our discount) we paid less than $80. This is too good to pass up.

The SureStay Plus in Jasper is a nice, clean hotel with a price you can't beat. Sonia behind the front desk is amazing. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. There was a nice pool and hot tub, and the free breakfast was very good. Top-notch value for sure.

This hotel room compared on every level. I am a road tripper that often checks in late after driving for hours at cheap hotels. This one was the best late night choice I have ever made.

The hotel staff is very professional and very very friendly. The breakfast are hot and they have an of the attendant there to make sure that the food is abundant and the coffee is fresh. The rates are very reasonable and the rooms are very clean with fresh towels fresh soap and fresh shampoo every day. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling and wants a nice place to stay for a great rate.

I did a review previous and stated some Concerns I had with billing. I must say the Cust Service provided by this management is outstanding. I received a phone call and emails to rectify the overage charge. It's not everyday that business will do this these days. I highly recommend if your in the area to stay with Sure Stay. I would sure enjoy relaxing in the warm hot tub right now. Looking forward to a weekend getaway again soon.

Nice little Gem in Jasper, IN The people running this hotel were so friendly and always willing to help. The hotel was very clean. Kinda strange getting back to the hotel. Billing got messed up and we got charged more than told it would be. Our air was not working properly however management was quick to try and help resolve our concerns.

I stayed here with my daughters while we explored the area on spring break. Breakfast was nice, and the breakfast area was very clean. They had both hot and cold options. The pool was small but perfect as no one really used it except my two. And the hot tub was fantastic! Our room was clean and we had no issues here. The front desk staff was very nice.

Sonia provides exceptional service and hospitality as always! Highly recommend this property for service and quiet relaxation.I travel extensively for business and particular about service. They go above and beyond to assure a great stay.

Up here from Oklahoma doing a remodel on the Walmart and haven't had any complaints in the three months I've been staying here. Quality breakfast, good people and a clean atmosphere! Will be here another month and don't anticipate any problems.

Been here for two out of the three months and I'm happy to say money well spent, if you're looking for a home away from home this is the spot! BreAkfast every morning (bacon some days) and when I had my family visit they had a blast in the pool and hot tub!

This SureStay hotel is the only place i would stay at, Great and friendly owners and staff. Room are reasonably priced and cleaned daily. Swimming pool, hot tub and a onsite laundry & workout room, what's not to like about this place!!!!

The kitchen staff was very nice and the dining area was very neat and clean.The pool is extremely small and there was children jumping in the pool on us and our 2 year child.We complained and hotel staff never went to handle the situation,she was too busy texting.At check out we were over charged and tried to reason with hotel staff.She was very rude and would not go by our reservation comp price!!

Not many places to choose from in this town if traveling with dog. Bed was comfortable, furniture outdated. Breakfast was tasteless, staff were pleasant. Had a musty smell in the hallways. Lobby area was warm and inviting, even had a small bar with bottled beer.

If anyone is looking for a place to stay this is the best....The service is amazing the rooms are very clean the breakfast is also really good... trust me I will be staying here more often it's close to town

Excellent hotel, I ended up booking because I had stayed at another hotel in Jasper previously but the price there had gone up by 40% so I had a look around. Glad I did! Friendly helpful staff, clean and very well thought out at a bargain price. Excellent internet connection and good TV experience.

Only hot tub in Jasper! Great breakfast! G is a good owner with lots of local knowledge. My go to hotel in Jasper. There is even a small bar up front if you need to relax and unwind. Live long and prosper!

The staff went out of their way to accommodate us! Tons of kids were there for basketball and they took care of each and everyone of them. to keeping towels clean to answering the phone calls. I will def stay here next time

I stayed for a month for work while we located an apartment for myself. The staff was very nice and friendly and was always their day or night! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and fresh food in the morning. What set this apart from all other hotels besides be clean, friendly, and hospitable. Is that they actually build a connection with the guest have conversations, and check in on them to make sure they're having the best stay. Hotels I been don't go the extra mile but this hotel did!! I will recommend this to anyone for business or leisure hotel staying. I will definitely becoming back.

I love this place. Quite clean and unique. Very friendly staff who remember me every time Continental breakfast is awesome. They sell beer and wine. I stayed in room 124. The tub in the bathroom did not drain properly, and there was a pool of water the whole time. The curtains were almost see through and there was a big black hair when I turned down the sheets in one of the beds. The breakfast was a joke. No cereal for milk, no pancake or waffle batter, and no meat (bacon or sausage). It was also so dimly lit from the outside that I missed it the first time I drove by. Very unusually for a hotel. It was in a convenient location.

My wife and I are Truck Drivers and travel and stay in Hotels throughout the country. Let me start with the staff. The girl at the front desk was wonderful and the housekeepers were very pleasant and thorough with there cleaning. The hotel is an older building that has been recently remodeled. Fresh paint on the walls and new carpet adorn the whole facility. The thing that surprised me the most was in the parking lot they had outside power posts so we were able to plug our truck in to keep the block heater on during the very cold nights. Great price for a great stay!!

Loved this place. Staff is amazing. Extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. They where very flexible and helpful working with my dog and cleaning my room. Plus they have a great continental breakfast every morning.

My company booked this hotel for me while on a long term business training trip. I must say that my stay, although, a long way from home was a pleasant one. Sonia and her family made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Although, I had limited transportation it was very easy to get around town. Everything is in walking distance. The hotel has all the amenities one would need... a gym with treadmills, ellipticals and a few free weights ( I think I was the only one to use it while I was there LOL ) a indoor pool and spa, small convienence store with snacks etc. A full heated breakfast is served every morning and daily housekeeping towel & trash service... Also, having a washer and dryer was a huge plus!. Everyone who works there was extremely pleasant and accommodating!! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Jasper Indiana... the River walk a few minutes away was a nice treat and there is also a golf course behind the hotel.I loved the veggie burgers at Mac a Doo's which is just a short distance away. This was a great hotel for a couple night stay. The room was clean, the service was great. I wish they had a non-dairy milk at the breakfast buffet. There was a hot tub and pool, although the pool was just a small kidney shaped pool and not big enough for laps.

This was my Best Experience with any Hotel in over 30 years Every single person was so nice and polite. The rooms were well stocked and clean, the beds were very comfortable And we enjoyed the breakfast and coffee tremendously A general air of Safety comfort and ease. Really the best people anywhere. We had 4 rooms booked for a week. Service and facility were great. Manager took personal care to make sure everyone got a room which catered to their needs. Highly recommend this place when in Jasper IN. Never felt we were away from home.

This was my second stay at the SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Jasper with the prior stay in November 2017. The friendly hotel staff member (Sonia) was very attentive to my needs and those of my family. Any issues that I had with the room were promptly addressed. The breakfast was improved from my prior stay. My family enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi. The only issues that we had which I did not report to staff was the lack of ventilation in the bathroom area (for venting moisture from the shower) and the noise of the air conditioner when running. We found a workaround for the air conditioner noise. The solution was to only run the fan at night and cool down the room using the AC before going to bed.

I choose this hotel every time I'm traveling to Jasper for work. The rooms are always clean and well kept. Sonia is helpful and friendly. I've only had good experiences and would recommend Sure Stay Plus

My wife and I enjoy taking short trips within driving distance of our home in Indianapolis. We have heard great reviews from friends who visited there and we were looking for a place where we could get in as much of the sights in two days at a reasonable cost. We chose to stay at the SureStay Plus Hotel in Jasper after reading reviews and checking out price and availability. Sonia answered my call and quickly got us set up with a great discount that was less than the on line advertised price. She sent a confirmation within minutes and we drove down the next day. The hotel is located in a quiet location, but within easy driving distance to the places we wanted to see. Upon arrival, Sonia quickly got us checked in and offered a complimentary drink as first time customers and new Best Western Rewards members. They have a small cocktail bar area in the lobby and snack type foods and sundries are also available. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. After eating in Jasper, we returned to the hotel for a quiet evening and enjoyed a hot delicious breakfast the next morning. We felt very welcome there and would stay again when we head down that way.

We had a block of rooms here for our out of town guests for our wedding weekend. They gave an excellent discounted rate compared to all others in town. No one had any problems what so ever making reservations. Everyone was very pleased with the hotel. Very new feeling, great renovations! Very clean! Mini fridge and comfy beds. Pool and hot tub. plenty of vending options. mini convenience store and mini bar in the lobby. Big continental breakfast in the morning. Everyone was so nice! Sonia, you are an angel!!! Thank you for our room the night of our wedding! And the complimentary beer!!! Hitting the hot tub and the pool with our friends and family when we returned made our night complete! I would recommend this hotel to any and every one.

The hotel was very nice. The room was very clean and the bed was nice to sleep in. The staff was very very friendly. The like the little bar and the snacks they had very nice price for the beer too ..I will stay here again the next time come to jasper.

I feel that Sonia and her husband (the owners) were very understanding and generous in taking me in early given the circumstances. The service was superb, the hosts were polite and attentive, and the hospitality given was well appreciated. I would absolutely recommend Sure Stay to anyone needing temporary refuge in the area.

Was there on a 2 week business trip. Best thing about this place is the amazing staff; Sonia is the sweetest, kindest Front Desk clerk and everyone I interacted with couldn't be nicer and whiling to go out of their ways to help! Room was clean, gym equipment works, coffee not bad, waffles for breakfast and fruit infused water....overall a good experience.

Great place to stay! Everyone we encountered that worked there from the registration to someone we passed outside to checkout was extremely pleasant and greeted/acknowledged us! We came in from a long day at Holiday World we were greeted with a smile and they went out of their way to make my son feel special on his birthday! The room was perfectly clean, the bed slept amazing! Breakfast was awesome! We had so many options and it was included in the great price we got for our room!! We will definitely be staying again when we come back to Holiday World or any visit near Jasper!!

It is good value. It was a clean hotel with nice staff. The bathroom was clean, but the toilet and tub could maybe use some updating. The toilet was hard to flush and the surfacing in the tub was peeling in a few places. The breakfast was good. We would stay again. Not a far drive to Holiday World.

We stayed for two nights at the Best Western in Jasper Indiana. We were running so very late for check in and Sonia was a great help. She had a smile on her face and a great attitude. This hotel is only 30 minutes away from Holiday World. Perfect place to stay.

I can't say much positive or negative about this property. The room was comfortable and better than I expected from the outside of the hotel. The pool was horribly small. The water was not kept as it should have been and the hot tub was disgusting. Our bathing suits wreaked of dirty feet and wet dog smell from being in that water. It was sickening!

We absolutely love it here! The rooms are spotless and they are very accommodating to our puppies. We are always greeted warmly and treated with such kindness by all of the staff. We look forward to coming back here every time we come to town! It's our home away from home.

We stayed here the night before going to holiday world. At first check-in she greeted us very nicely. The room was clean. We had an issue with our television and they were very responsive and getting it fixed within minutes by bringing us a new television set. The breakfast was warm and decent for a free breakfast for a family of four. It was definitely worth the price in comparison to other places that we have stayed at in that area for the park.

After reading the reviews for this hotel I was shocked when we got to our room. The room was not clean and the sheets appeard dirty. The bathroom had not been cleaned either. At breakfast there was no coffee. I had to interrupt the workers personal conservation to ask for coffee and half and half. Many of the breakfast items were out and she never ended her personal conservation to help the many people trying to have breakfast. My family was very disappointed.

Excellent hospitality and very clean rooms and very quiet. Although it isn't the newest hotel around, it it much cleaner than most hotels we have stayed at. The staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. Pool area was very clean also.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was awesome! By far the quietest hotel I've ever stayed at. Sonia was absolutely amazing and was there whenever we needed her. Room was very clean, as was the pool area. We had 3 adults and 6 kids in our party and everyone was accommodated.

This hotel may not look fancy from the outside, but it was a wonderful place to stay. The lobby is spacious and a great place to sit and drink a beer or cocktail after a long day. The rooms were clean and accommodating. The best part of the stay was the night shift woman working the front desk, Sonia. She was extremely helpful with suggesting local eateries and giving directions, as well as being the bartender in the evening. She made the stay very enjoyable and I truly felt like she was there to cater to our needs. Keep up the good work.

There aren't many choices near Holiday World; we chose Sure Stay based on its good value recommendations. The building is a very dated style with two floors but no elevator, so be ready to tote your luggage up a flight of stairs. The rooms themselves were adequate and supposedly remodeled, but on this road trip we stayed in two other motels in same price class and they were much nicer. The included breakfast was standard hotel free breakfast, but the hours end early (9AM) even on a weekend. All in all, this hotel is a decent value and adequate lodging for a couple nights stay. Driving to Holiday World was along peaceful rural highways, but it is a full 30 minute drive. Note: since Holiday World is in the central time zone and hotel is in eastern time zone, you can arrive a half hour before you left.

Free Breakfast, indoor pool, hot tub, and pets allowed!! All i need in a great hotel. The staff is wonderful and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and happy. WE have stayed before and will continue to stay in the future!!

We stayed on July 5th after our annual family trip to Holiday World. When we arrived, the woman at the desk was incredibly friendly and helpful (the man at check-out was also). I was pleasantly surprised that the pool (although pretty small) and hot tub (normal size) was open until 10:30. The pool area was clean. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean (aside from slight soap build up on one of the soap holders in the shower). It was nicely decorated. We could hear showers and blow dryers from the hallway, but that was the only noise we heard the entire stay. The beds were comfortable however the fitted sheet would not fit snuggly over the mattress on the kids' bed (mattress was very clean). Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast. The staff were right on top of refilling everything quickly... it was quite busy. The only real negative could be that there was not an elevator, but the hotel is only two floors with a few stairs. It was comparable to the other major hotel in Jasper (we stayed there last year). For $60 less per night, we will definitely return here in the future.

We stayed here on our recent visit to Holiday world. It's about 20 minutes drive to Holiday world. The hotel is very clean, quiet, and rooms are spacious! The bed was comfortable. All the staff were very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was okay. The house keeping team was great!

I enjoyed another great stay at this hotel in April. Everything is always clean and in working order. Sonia and the rest of the hotel staff are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we have a great stay. I am looking forward to our July visit.

We stayed two nights for our first visit to Holiday World. Sonia at the front desk was very nice and the location was very good- about 20 minutes to Holiday World. Our room (212) was just okay. Not the best but also not the worst. The bathroom was not the cleanest. There was still hair in the shower from a previous guest, like, alot of hair. The shower curtain was very dingy and had soap scum on it. It wasn't filthy but it was kind of gross. First thing we did was check for bedbugs and we didn't see any which was why we sucked it up and didn't ask to change rooms. We decided no bedbugs was better than a pristine bathroom. The rest of the room was okay. The beds were comfortable, the chair was a little worn but again, it was not the worst. The curtains in the room were also dingy and stained. Just not what you'd expect from a hotel that was remodeled a year ago. The pool is super small- capacity for it is 11 people. We knew from the pics that it was a small pool but we were still surprised when we saw it in person. They must use alot of chlorine because our eyes burned just sitting by it and the hot tub too. We summized the high chlorine levels might be the reason the person who stayed in our room before us lost the majority of their hair in the shower, lol! You gotta keep your sense of humor people. Make sure your kids wear goggles if they swim bc our sons eyes were blood red after swimming for just a few minutes. The free breakfast was just standard hotel fare, biscuits, eggs, sausage and waffles. Like everything else, it was adequate. Oh, and just in case you didn't know, this hotel is NOT on central time so if you are staying here before going to HW, just know it's an hour ahead of HW. I doubt we'll stay here again when we plan another trip to HW (which was awesome). I'll go into that in my Holiday World review. Hope this review helps!

We stayed at the SureStay because of its value and location to Holiday World. I rented four rooms for our family ranging from 1-65, I have never gone wrong reading through my reviews on Trip Advisor and this time was no exception. Sonia, who is mentioned in a lot of the posts, went out of her way to make our stay as exceptional as possible. Every evening we came back from Holiday World and enjoyed catching up in the lobby while playing a few board games. Those were the best memories!! Sonia would always ask if we needed anything or always was there to greet us with a smile. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Sonia. We felt as if we were your guests at your home!!! It was a great value with a free breakfast. It may not be the fanciest hotel in the area but it is definitely the most welcoming!!

All of the staff was friendly and helpful in every way. I would certainly stay here again. They were very attentive helping when I have to have packages delivered for my work. They called my room as soon as they arrived.

We wanted a short but fun trip. We chose Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana. Hotel was less than impressive on the outside but nice inside. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was okay. We stayed in Jasper, Indiana at the Surestay. It was about 20 miles from Holiday World. I noticed the accommodations closer were more expensive but average. Beautiful farmland during your drive.

We stayed 4 nights with a large group of kids. The hosts were very responsive, from a plumbing issue to a medical emergency during our stay. They were very attentive and friendly and were gracious in offering a space for our evening gatherings. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the snack shop was a hit with our kids. They enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and the hot breakfast was good. Chaperones used the fitness room and the beds were comfortable.

I stay here once a week for work and enjoy the staff always being kind and attentive. The pool and hot tub are always clean, and the continental breakfast is always a good start to the day. All around great spot if your passing through or here on the regular.

I was there for the majority of April 2018. I had a life changing event occur while I was there and received all kinds of assistance and kindness from all of the staff! I left woefully on my last day due to the fact I didn't want to start crying while saying goodbye. Sonia and her family are very kind and caring and you can tell they are there because they love Jake and their residents.

Hotel is new and the hosts are terrific. Good location and close to everything. Package deal with golf...We were treated very well. The rooms are nice. The hot tub and indoor pool felt refreshing after the day of golf. Nice breakfast.

I always enjoy my stay here. The rooms are always clean, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is good. Hot coffee, bacon, eggs, fresh waffles, biscuits, and gravy are all available for breakfast, along with cereal, muffins, and yogurt. I really like the staff. They are very friendly and helpful. Here is my experience over a week at this hotel. The property was very safe and secure. Room very clean... I spent a lot of time making sure it was. Staff was very nice and accommodating. One thing... the hotel location itself is a little hard to get to at the time of my stay. They were in process of changing this at the time. If considering staying here, make sure you find your way through the parking lot to the front door to check the place out. Overall stay was a very nice and good value for location.

We Will be back again and again. They go above and beyond their duties. It was a real lifesaver, because we couldn't find any good hotel around there. Over All level the same with Hilton and Marriott Hotel Class.

The rooms were immaculate, ample towels and wonderfully accommodating owners. They go above and beyond their duties. I needed something printed, and the computer was not working, they allowed me to email it to them, and they printed it for me. It was a real lifesaver.

The rooms are quite competent and the layouts are awesome. Housekeeping is great and amenities are up to standards. We love the breakfast variety and the best part was Hot Tub and Bar that made our night relaxing. This is our favorite place now to stay whenever we want to relax and away from home

I was on Business trip. I had a King room, and it was beautiful, spacious and clean. The bed and linens were very comfortable. I stayed three nights and slept well. Wi-Fi was my main concern and it worked very well. I like the idea of in house bar and was greeted with complimentary Beer. The staff was very professional and hospitable. I highly recommend SureStay Plus Best Western especially for those who are visiting Jasper for Business Trip.

The staff here is extremely accommodating and certainly friendly. I called ahead asking for a few extra hangers for my room. When I was greeted during check-in after 11 pm, they advised the extra hangers were in my room and advised to let them know if I needed additional. Very proactive! Thank you Sonia!

We loved our stay at the Surestay Best Western in Jasper! Sonia at the front desk is so friendly and helpful. There is a market in the hotel with alcoholic drinks, snacks, and toiletires that is really convenient. The pool was very clean and the kids had a great time. it is close to downtown Jasper and we enjoyed eating at the Mexican restaurant nearby. The hotel has a few arcade games and a hot tub.Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There's a hot breakfast with a make your own omlette station and waffles. We will definitely choose this hotel for our next visit to Holiday World.

Everything was Perfect. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of plugins in room , HD channels, Fridge and Microwave, Coffee Pot. Recently renovated, 24 hour Coffee with Cookies and Flavored water. Overall service was wonderful. Stay again for sure.
