Best Western Plus Crossroads Inn & Suites

Check in was smooth, breakfast was good and breakfast barware clean. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Hotel was close to highway other restaurants and pub. Will stay again when I come back through this area.

We had received excellent service at this Best Western Inn & Suites. An awesome staff and a terrific breakfast. A very clean and quite place. Everyone that I had a pleasure of speaking to was the best. Couldn't asked for a better place to stay.

Had a week long conference in Charlottesville. Great stay here. Rooms are well kept and in great condition. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. I will definitely look at staying here again if I attend again next year.

This Best Western is better than some others, Rooms are comfortable and decently appointed, but need renovation. Free breakfast is OK, and there is an IHOP next door as well as a super restaurant, Bretts, within walking distance.

Property is very clean, rooms were very clean. Convenient drive to restaurants and grocery store. Good location & staff very pleasant. Quiet area short drive to the national park and many other things the area has to offer.

Our stay here was great. Room was spacious and clean. Lobby was beautiful. Check in easy and seamless. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Had a k cup coffee maker. Plenty of towels . Staff was friendly and helpful.

There is no closed captioning on the TVs in this motel and they don't seem to care. The breakfast is good but needed cranberry juice. The location was good for us but the use of space in the room was poor. One side of the bed was only a few inches from the heating cooling unit making access difficult.

We arrived at the Best Western Crossroads Inn and Suites where we were checked in and were given a room that had. paper taped to the door with a room number on it, an A/C that didn't work, and a room that smelled awful. I requested to be moved to another room. Our new room, however, had a dirty bathroom, the exhaust fan was broken, and the bed linens had seen better days. Also, if you do not plan on cleaning a room or even dropping off towels, it would be nice to let the quests know. At the breakfast the pancake maker was broken, you couldn't have hot chocolate for that was broken too. Milk was kept in large pitcher which was warm from being left out on the counter We decided to stay at this particular accommodation because of the ratings it had received. We were not fortunate to have received any of that good service. As a side issue, it would be nice if they had a staff who smiled or at least greeted you. An exception was the gentlemen who worked the breakfast or the older woman at the front desk. The rest could use a course in politeness.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, the room smelled very moldy and the hotel had old carpet throughout the facility. The breakfast was just a little over average. The IHOP next to the Hotel was absolutely terrible. The restaurant was poorly run, outdated and the food was of very poor quality.

This hotel was very good. Felt it was expensive, but was only hotel near our family. However, the staff was great. Most impressive was the breakfast staff. Jackie was the kitchen manager during the week. What a friendly, pleasant lady. The food was hot, & she circulated the dining area to see that all was well. The same was true of the kitchen manager on the weekend. Things were fairly busy. This gentleman circulated the dining room frequently, clearing items, asking how everything was, wiping tables off. Great service!

Stayed for a 2 night weekend for a family memorial service. This hotel is definitely in need of an upgrade. The room and whole floor smelled awful the entire stay. Nothing felt very clean, toilet clogged, and smell was awful. Some staff were helpful and friendly and others were quite rude. Breakfast was fine, lots of variety and the staff kept things full and clean. I would not recommend this hotel, but unfortunately there are not many choices in this area which is why we stayed here.

If the elevator is not broken, it's broken breakfast equipment. The quality of the breakfast required us to go out and pay to eat breakfast. Every bed feels different, this bed was extremely hard and made sleeping difficult.

The hospitality was superb. Josephine and Jackie were sweet, professional, accommodating and hands on. All the staff was exceptional I just can't remember their names. The pool was relaxing and enjoyable. It was so peaceful the 4 nights we stayed. I can't say enough about the hospitality. I'm from up North. I slept very well. If I could mention just one thing the toilet paper holder is to far back for someone with a hurt shoulder it was a challenge but I worked it out. I would recommend this Inn to others.

This hotel is very well run! They have rooms for those of us with limits mobiliy which is wonderful. We so appreciated the convenience of the walk-in shower with a seat in it. The breakfast was wonderful. They offered hot and cold foods. Quite satisfying.

This hotel is located in a very convenient location. There are several gas stations nearby. Walmart and Lowes across the street. A few restaurant's nearby. Hotel offers breakfast in there dining room from 6am to 10 am. Loved there easy touch-less pancake maker. IHop is right next door but no need to go there since hotel offered the same in there dining room. The rooms smelled a bit musty. Has carpeting of which I thought could be used to update. But hotel been there for a few years. So should be ok. Shower head is a water saver but pressure was pretty good. Over all. Had a great stay and would recommend to go here.

The hotel was clean and reasonable but overpriced for the quality. The hallways were dark and the elevator was broken. The breakfast was average. There is an indoor pool and a very small exercise room with a bike, treadmill, elliptical machine, and weight machine.

The elevator was not working and apparently had been out of order for 3 weeks. This made it very difficult for people with limited mobility getting to upper floors in a 4 floor hotel. All of the soda machines we saw were also out of order. The landscaping was terrible. Many shrubs were dead and many very tall weeds were growing in the landscaped areas outside the hotel.

When I made this reservation on the phone, I was not told that the elevator was not working. I had to carry my belongings up the stairs. Also, I was put in a room where the TV did not work and was told they had no other TVs on the premises to give me....and I am a platinum member.

I was very pleased that this hotel accepted pets, which was why I chose it. This is only the second time I have stayed in a hotel with a dog, and my first experience at a different hotel chain was rather disappointing as all of the dog owners were put in a certain part of the hotel and the rooms were not as nice as others in that same facility. That did not seem to be the case here. My room was lovely, very clean, and there was no evidence whatsoever of any prior pet being in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful overall, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast. The hotel is centrally located and I highly recommend it.

The breakfast was tasty and the person running it was friendly and helpful. The staff at the front desk were helpful. My room was clean. The pool was a nice temp and the area was clean and well-kept. I'll be staying there again next time I'm in the area.

Hotel seems fairly new. Clean and in good shape. Staff friendly and attentive to our needs. We are building a house in Palmyra and moving from Florida, so this is our home away from home. Staff makes you feel welcome. Great team. Highly recommend this location

This hotel is overpriced and run down. Like sleeping on lumpy mattresses and with bedding of sandpaper? Then this place is for you. Being the only hotel near the Walmart terminal its often booked up. They charge more than the comfort inn 20 minutes away and you sleep like a queen at that hotel. This hotel needs help!! Im let down Best Western should be Worst Western lol.

We stayed here for 4 nights with a small dog. This hotel was centrally located to where we wanted to be. Rooms were clean & spacious. Staff was friendly & accommodating. Grounds were well lit. Fresh coffee & tea available 24 hours

When I looked for a BW in Charlottesville, this is the property that popped up, and I did not realize that it was 20 miles east of Cville! My bad! That said, the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Easy check in and out. It is tricky though to find it right of the road in the dark. We ended up going a little too far down the road, and had to double back. Apparently, that is an issue for this place. I believe they also cater to a fair number of contractors in the area.

This was a pretty nice and clean Best Western hotel with an awesome staff. The front desk staff was really great, the breakfast staff was awesome and so was the maintenance and cleaning staff. Clean rooms, friendly, professional staff.

I have stayed at many hotels but never stayed at a Best Western. I appreciated the honesty and transparency of the staff and expectations that have changed because of covid. The staff were all very polite and the ease of checking in and out was great. I loved that the front desk had a map available of local areas to explore as well as a list of restaurants with business hours and happy hour. My boyfriend and I were in town for a wedding and it was nice to get an introduction to the area upon arrival.

Every member of the staff I encountered as so kind, friendly and helpful. From the breakfast staff, housekeeping and front desk staff every single person was just so nice. The room was clean, internet was fast and breakfast was very good.

Stayed here after spending a day at Monticello. Hotel was nice looking both inside and out, and staff was friendly and helpful. A few minor things led to my 3 out of 5 rating. For the 2nd time on a 4 day trip, even though we clearly booked three people when making the reservation, we only had two towels and two wash clothes. Also, no shampoo in the bathroom. How hard is it to make sure a room is set up for three people? Also, breakfast was lacking in quality, and the tables that were open to sit at were dirty. More and more it seems like hotels have given up on cleanliness. Remember COVID when everyone actually cleaned? All in all not a bad place, and I would give it another chance hoping for improvements in the two areas I mentioned.

rooms not cleaned, no one was there to check you in, electrical outlets didn't work, tv remote didn't work on sleep mode. bed never made, new bath mat not delivered. I would not recommend this Best Western hotel. We have stayed there in the past and it was fine but not this time

I always stay at the Zion Crossroads when I am in this area every month for work. It is best to reserve a room in advance because they're busy it seems all the time. Very friendly staff and clean place.

When I reported the wifi outage to the manager on duty he was dismissive of my complaint even though there were 4 other guests in the lobby trying to access it. Terrible customer service on his part. He needs to find another type of work.

There was a mix up about the check in date and not one person tried to help out. We were told to sleep in our car and even then never attempted to try to inform us when a room was ready until 11:30 when we asked.

We were looking for a place to stay in Charlottesville while our extended family traveled to visit my son. There was some type of event occurring in Charlottesville so we had to look a little further out. I'm glad we did as this Best Western Plus was an excellent choice and only about 20 min from our son's home. The hotel isn't new but it is very clean and 2 of the staff members we dealt with, Josephine and Rick, were super friendly and very helpful. However, there was a younger gentleman at the check in counter who was a bit gruff and quite unfriendly, which is the reason we gave 4 stars, instead of 5* for service. The hotel room was very clean, had everything we needed and plenty of space for the 2 of us. The mattresses were a bit old and worn but we still had a good nights rest. They offer hot coffee, hot tea and hot chocolate 24 hours a day, which is a nice feature as we were able to grab a cup a coffee on our way out and one on our way back in. The coffee was very good too. The breakfast was what you would expect, with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels, bread for toast, make your own pancakes (which were actually quite good), pastries, yogurt, cereal, bananas, pre-packaged fruit cocktail, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and perhaps some other items too, but I don't recall. Certainly, plenty of choices to ensure you have a hearty breakfast. There's a Walmart across the street and several restaurants within walking distance, We would not hesitate to stay here again!

I have relatives in the area and stayed at here for one night. It is conveniently located near stores and restaurants. Very clean and really nice room. Internet was very good. Very friendly staff. Good coffee available 24/7.

Great experience!!! Excellent customer service. Very clean and quiet. I was impressed With the pool, gym and breakfast. In a convenient area for shopping and eating out. Close to the interstate. We enjoyed our jacuzzi tub. Good price for a super experience.

I was very well satisfied this location as I drive a tractor trailer the parking is a plus easy to get in and out of the parking area and was close to several restaurants and coffee shops and was easy on and off of the interstate

Immaculate hotel with a museum like collection of Western Art and Memorabilia. The friendliness staff we have ever encountered coupled with professionalism. Excellent breakfast assortment well tended by Jackie. She will start your day off with a smile and she keeps everything stocked and fresh - eggs, bacon or sausage, pancake maker, cereal, English muffins, bagels, pastries etc. Coffee on 24 hours! Handy next door Starbucks and Walmart etc. across the highway - yet lots of dog walking area nearby Medical and Veterinary service.

We stayed at the Best Western Zions Crossroads for three days. Each employee we encountered went out of their way to be helpful, A special shout out to Vina, David and Sharee! Each time I asked for something else you each helped me.

Our flight was cancelled, so we rented a car to drive from VA to IN. The roads were horribly foggy after driving a few hours, so we stopped at Best Western PLUS. We had no choice as the Best Western was the only hotel around. It was clean, updated, and the lobby was very festive being just a few days after Christmas. Vina, the hotel lobby clerk, took excellent care of us from making sure we had snacks and drinks after not eating at the airport all day to asking if we would prefer a ground floor room due to having an elderly parent with us. She was the BEST!

We arrived late, the staff was very helpful. Only issue I had was that the snack machine was broke. Kids were very disappointed. Otherwise, everything was as expected. Breakfast was wonderful and staff was very helpful.

My stay at Best Western Plus was great. The front desk staff was so very helpful, informative and kind. They explained what the hotel amenities were and where everything was. I was also asked if I had any preferences. The room was nice and clean and smelled nice and fresh.

I stay here frequently when visiting my son and it is always awesome. Very nice hotel, run well, clean, efficient and super friendly and helpful staff. I sometimes have my dog with me and it is great.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, but Vina has to be the best person working there. She has no problem going above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable. Absolute the sweetest person I've met in a long time. She gets an A+ from me, 10/10, I'd highly recommend.

My husband and I were traveling with friends and we all agreed that this is a lovely hotel. It's very new and sparkling clean. The hotel was nicely decorated and the rooms and beds were comfy. The breakfast was basic but adequate. I'd stay there again.

The team at best Western plus.. was very polite, efficient, and gave him home feel. The professionals at this hotel will get it right and all you need is a little patience to let them do their jobs. You will be delighted!

Nice place. Very clean and the staff was nice. We were over charged on the bill by a large amount, but I expect this to be resolved. We had no other issues otherwise, and we had a very pleasant, but short stay

the hotel was surprisingly good a new hotel well decorated clean . the shower pressure was on the low side but pleasant .staff was top notch b breakfast was shot on variety but ok for a quick bite to get going the pool was one of the larger hotel pools i've encountered.

Great hotel for business travelers... The internet connection is fast and reliable. The restaurant options are conveniently located in the same parking no driving required and the hotel breakfast doesn't run out of fresh fruit.

This hotel is extremely nice and clean. A great value for the price we paid. The breakfast has many good hot options that satisfied my family! The pool area is also very nice. We had no problems. Every staff member we encountered was kind!

I stayed here for a weekend while in town a family wedding. The hotel was very clean, the room was a good size with nice amenities, and overall I think it was a good value for the money. Parking was free and plentiful. Area felt safe, had a couple restaurants nearby, and was close to major roads. Some of the bridal party stayed at a 4 start hotel in Charlottesville which cost 3x what I paid for this hotel (which I visited during my stay), and I think my room at the Best Western was actually nicer and more updated. The wedding venue was in the middle, so either location worked well. I was very happy with my choice to stay here!

Staff was very helpful, quick check in/out. Hotel hard to see from road, not marked with signage very well from road. Room was clean & quiet with plenty of room. Had a problem with shower hose, staff fixed promptly after notification. Only problem was they ran out of coffee at breakfast with hotel full of guests. Had to go to nearby convenience store for coffee.

I'm use to low cost motels, but this time I had to stay here cause it was the only game in town. Check-in was no problem and there was a bunch of cowboy and Indian (mostly indian) paraphernalia which was interesting. My room was on the 4th floor close to the elevator. there was coffee and everything one would need for a good stay. The WIFI was a little slow, the only negative as far as I could tell. For breakfast they had togo bags, coffee,juice and pancakes.All-in-all a good stay.

David at the front counter went above and beyond for us after we were in a car accident that totaled one of our cars. His companion could use some manners...The next morning, Henry stepped in where David left off. The housekeeping department gave us an extra half hour to leave so we could get our rental lined up and did not have to sit outside with 5 young kids all under 5. If you are ever in the area..Please stop by and see them. Very beautiful hotel.

Hotel was quite lovely. So wonderful to find a nice hotel that allows pets. Highly recommended! Breakfast was good good too, for a free continental. Stayed 2 nights, hotel was quiet, and clean. Great location. Close to restaurants and shopping.

We recently stayed at the Best Western, Zion Crossroads in VA, and overall the stay was okay. It would have been much more pleasant if we weren't fumigated in our room. Whatever cleaner they used resembled a strong perfume and my husband almost couldn't get through the night. We told the front desk about it at checkout and requested a partial refund but did not get one. The other issue was one of the queen beds in our room needing replacing as you could feel the springs and it squeaked when lying in it. Luckily we traveled with two young children who slept in that bed. Breakfast was included and was probably the best part of our stay. We usually don't complain so it was just upsetting that we told the front desk about our issue and they didn't compensate us for it and the rooms were not cheap. I'm not sure if I would stay here again.

I booked a room here for the weekend as a personal get away. I will be doing so as often as I can from now on. The facility was emaculate, the staff was all so very friendly and helpful. Those words don't even accurately describe the level of service they provided me, or the other customers I witnessed them interact with. They were fantastic at reading each of us and speaking to us in ways that were unique to myself and those I witnessed. All the tenants I interacted with agreed as well. I also witnessed a few occasions where they were training new hires, and as a business owner myself, I was nothing short of amazed. They were patient, positive, enthusiastic, the list goes on. I really can't say enough about my visit and the staff. I didn't get any last names but I would like to list those I encountered so that they may receive the recognition they deserve. This hotel has comfy beds, a great breakfast, a friendly staff and is positioned in a great location. I enjoy staying at this hotel and always feel well rested when I leave. I certainly look forward to coming back when I am in the area.

my stay was excellent. the staff here is amazing. The place is a little dated, the rooms could use a update as well, the staff is wonderful and that is why i will return. There friendly service and awesome attitudes were great

Check in and out was very smooth. And I had to change the payment at the end. They had a new system. But, the gentleman worked through the process smoothly. The only thing negative I could comment on is the shower water pressure. Every staff member we ran into was so nice and pleasant.

My husband and I stayed here years ago with our dog but this time it was just us with our baby. They have modified breakfast (cereals and JImmy Dean sandwiches) with covid restrictions still in place. This is the only hotel in the growing Zion's Crossroads. Clean rooms and main Hotel areas. We will definitely stay here again. The A/C worked well. The king bed was comfy. We noticed a bunch of kids enjoying the indoor pool. would recommend.

A LONG BUT MUST READ: If you're considering booking this location for your stay BEWARE of the horrible professionalism amongst the Managerial staff. In particular, “Manager” Jessica. Never in all of my travels, which is very frequent have I experienced such unprofessional and disgusting treatment. Especially coming from someone whose supposed to be in a role of headship. Unfortunately, during my stay I encountered a horrible experience with the front desk manager whose name again is Jessica. The issues occurred when I arrived early in which I called the hotel to request an early check in. Immediately I was met with an attitude. Jessica stating “I don't know who told you that, we don't do that”. Despite that, I explained that I had called previously two weeks in advance twice and was informed for an early check in I'd have to call an hour early to inquire if this was available. Upon explaining what I was informed by two previous hotel staff Jessica grew angrier. I simply stated thank you for your help and ended the call. Due to this experience I wanted to inform the General Manager to make them aware of firstly what guests are being informed (of being able to possibly check in early) so that the statement could be adjusted. Secondly to inform them of how guests are being treated when having such inquiries. Therefore, I went into the hotel where I was met with Jessica, who I had been speaking with on the phone. I greeted her nicely and attempted to explain what I was informed of two weeks in advance again. Also informing her the issue wasn't with the rooms not being available, because I knew that was a possibility. But of the message being given, that way future guests wouldn't experience what my family and I had. Instantly again I was met with a horrible attitude, this time even more so. Being shocked that this was coming from someone whose suppose to be in a position of leading, and saddened that this was the example that was being set for her staff. I inquired of why I was being treated with such hostility. Jessica began state “Because i'm repeating myself”. Then questioning “Why would I get on the road so early” and addressing me as “chick”, calling me “a complainer”, telling me “I got the wrong one”. Literally stating these things in an aggressive manner and yelling as if she wanted to start a physical altercation. If it weren't for it being Memorial Day weekend, knowing that the surrounding hotels would be booked; I would have canceled my stay at this establishment. I was able to speak with the General Manager, Robert Thomlinson, who apologized in behalf of Jessica and was unable to find an available room for early check in. Although I greatly appreciated this, I was saddened that he did not correct her behavior. Knowing this because while in the entry way of the hotel I could overhear Jessica continuing to make harsh statements about me and the General Manager Robert Thomlinson engaging the conversation. As someone whose in a Customer Facing Industry and Role there is much needed correction and training amongst the staff at this location. Seeing that the treatment I experienced was so blatant and out right I'm sure this is a normal behavior which is horrendous. Proceed your booking arrangements with CAUTION.

This stop on a long trip was a blessing. From a friendly staff, a spotless room where everything worked the way it was supposed to, tasty breakfast selections, and did I mention a friendly staff. I have traveled from coast to coast and back and this was the most pleasant stop in many years. This was my first time in the area but not my last. I will go out of my way to visit again. The price was more than I wanted to pay but the peace of mind was worth it. Long after I forget the cost I will remember the nice place.

Love the room, the decoration in the lobby and the friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay, plan to come back and stay longer. The room was clean and very comfortable. The location was near everything we needed.

It was SO interesting to see the Western decor when I went into the lobby! The story behind shows the respect and interest the owner has in the Native American and that was wonderful! It was like walking into a museum. Everywhere I went it was clean and the beds were definitely comfortable! I slept very well. The staff were all polite and immediately ready to help with everything and anything.

I have traveled a few times since COVID started, and other hotels have had minimal continental breakfast offered due to restrictions. This hotel offered pre-made waffles, yogurt, juice, and oatmeal! I was very surprised and pleased that they offered a balanced breakfast before I had to go!

Vina was very nice made me feel just as I was at home.The rest of the staff was good too.Thank you Vina for your great service.They kept my room clean everyday, Everyone work so hard.I really appreciate waking in from work and feeling welcome .

The facility was updated and very clean. You feel safe and secure staying at this Hotel. I really liked how they had the lobby setup as well. It was almost like walking into a hunting lodge. They had several computers ready to go, so you can catch up on your emails. The room was very clean and comfortable.

This Best Western Plus Crossroads Inn & Suites, located at Zions Crossroad, Gordonsville, Va., is by far, our favorite BW! Always a good experience here! Clean rooms, friendly, accommodating staff, great location! Stay frequently with family in the area and never disappointed! They should be the standard for all BW hotels! Keep up the great work!

My husband and I arrived on a Tuesday late afternoon. Our stay was for 2 nights, part business and part celebration of our anniversary. At 2am my husband became ill.. NOT COVID, A HEART ISSUE! . I can not tell you how helpful the staff was. They called 911 for me and gave me support and comfort every moment. Because of covid I could not be in the hospital with my husband. He was in the hospital for 6 days. The entire staff was wonderful. Pam, Erica and Alfred went out of their way to do everything possible to comfort and assist me. Even though my room was supposed to be taken on that Saturday, they rescheduled so I did not have to change rooms. God bless everyone for helping me out. The hotel is quite beautiful and my room was lovely. Everything is spotless...even in this time of Covid...I felt very comfortable. The cleaning staff is friendly and they do a wonderful job every day. I hope to return here another time when we can enjoy this wonderful hotel and the historical and beautiful surrounding area. Again, I give my thanks and gratitude to Pam, Erica and Alfred for their exceptional care.

The lobby caught our attention as soon as we walked in. If you like western artifacts and art this is the place. I found it beautiful. The staff is super-So accommodating and polite and helpful. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The hotel is close to many winery's. And easy on/off access to 64. Shopping is accessible in the area as well. Gas, Walmart IHOP and a few other places to eat, but we chose a winery and enjoyed our one night stay at this BW. Definitely, we will stay here when in the area and recommend to our friends. Traveled to area for one night stay. Very unique and interesting lobby but needs some brightening up . Pet friendly but no noise heard from people with dogs. They separate floors so may select floor with or without pets. Clean and no smell or issue with dogs on premises.Beds very comfortable . Bathroom spotless. Right next door to IHOP which was open for indoor dining with covid precautions in place- nice to have meal available which was just a walk across parking lot but only open limited hours. Looks like building new bar and grill on other side of driveway within walking distance also which will be another bonus to staying here once complete. Staff friendly and helpful. Limited delivery of food if get in after 8PM so pick up something on way.

During these trying times, when essential workers can be stressed and hard to be nice to customers; the staff at Best Wester in Zion Crossroads VA were exceptional. they answered every question we had concerning cleaning and sanitizing.

The hotel was great. We where amazed at the lobby's decor. The staff at check in was super great, very helpful. The rooms where clean & so comfy. Well pleased with the stay. Would definitely suggest anyone to stay there, & if in The area will most definitely be staying there again.

We always stay at this hotel when my husband has scans because we have always found it to be above average. This time our stay was unpleasant. We were denied a first floor room that was requested at reservation. There was no coffee on 2 separate occasions. The room temp was impossible to regulate--too hot or too cold. Internet was unsatisfactory.

1st time staying here. Lobby was cool with the decor. free breakfast OR IHOP within walking distance. This area has come up a Lot in the past few years. I went to a Thai restaurant across the street that was AMAZING! Definitely go there if you come to this area.

We stayed here last weekend for a small convention. There is plenty of parking and it is an easy drive from the Manassas area through some really pretty countryside. Staff very attentive, rooms spacious and clean. Only things I didn't like was that the hallways were a little dim and toilet paper was raw (bring your own!) and shower head was fixed in place and didn't have variable sprays. Didn't try the breakfast, but they had 24-hour coffee in a really charming breakfast room (separate, so didn't have all the hotel traffic running by). Also lobby decor a little overwhelming filled with Native American decor, but charming nevertheless. Pool looked nice; larger than many, though didn't use it. Would certainly stay here again.

We had a delightful night sleep here. Clean, spacious, quiet and excellent location to stores, restaurants and gas, you couldn't ask for a better place. The WiFi was stable. The fitness center was small but well equipped. The breakfast was excellent and offered a wide variety of food options. Excellent staff customer service.

I recently had the opportunity to experience the BestWester inn and Suites at Zion Crossroads and the hotel is marvelous. Staff is friendly and rooms are great. On the top of my list of hotels in the area

On the road and needed a place to stay for one night. This BW turned out to be a good choice. Nice, clean, quiet hotel. We were tired and didn't feel like getting in the car again to go out for dinner so opted for the IHOP restaurant across the parking lot. Hadn't been to an IHOP in a long time and was pleasantly surprised to find they had more than pancakes. Hubby and I both had good meals. Only complaint we had was that the bed was a little hard for our tastes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Best Western at Zion Crossroads. The room was large and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The server in the breakfast room kept it spotless. It was in a perfect location for us between family, Richmond, and Charlottesville.

This Inn is OK, but overpriced. Frequently unavalbale due to a lack of competition in the area. Rooms are average. The HVAC is too noisy aas is the in room refrigerator. There is an IHOP next door and many fast food franchises across the street.

We stayed in this hotel for an over night stop on a longer journey. It is convenient to Monticello, which was a stop over for us. The hotel was very clean, friendly staff, and the breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Our only minor disappointment was that the breakfast buffet did not have a waffle iron--our son's favorite part of Best Western stays!

We Loved This Hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, well-decorated, and included a microwave and mini-frig. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with a large variety of hot and cold entrees, including waffles, pancakes, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, fruit, breakfast pastry... Staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful with local recommendations. BEST hotel hot tub and pool - just perfect! And they are less than 20 minutes from Monticello! (Easy ride on highway) AND they are pet-friendly! And the lobby is fascinating - the owner is an Honorary Blackfoot Indian and displays his collection there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The hotel was situated in a favourable place! It was close to the Wal- Mart, VABC and food amenities. There was good parking and an IHOP with in walking distance from the main entrance. The beds were clean and very comfortable with little noise from outside the rooms.

Breakfast was terrible, sheets were like sandpaper, no wifi, remote didn't work....Staff had to fumble to find batteries and for some reason we were put in a handicap room even though we booked 5 months in advance.

Staff was pretty good! Management failed and it would be deserving to be fired. You don't just ignore a complaint or issue from a guest. There are repercussions to doing such when your guest are your business. My room was musty the carpets were even damp and at first I thought it was just the humidity then I opened the fridge. Mold in the fridge set me off. I didn't use the fridge ..... asked to speak with the manager who wasn't in. Call back for five days with no Courtesy to call back. So here I am giving the review you have earned by your lack of effort

While attending a barn wedding in Louisa – the wedding party and some of the guests stayed at this hotel. The staff was friendly, the accommodations exemplary, the room was clean with a comfortable bed. This hotel offered a breakfast buffet; however, we dined at the I-Hop next door.

I fly into Charlottesville and visit family in Louisa and have stayed at the Best Western a few times. I normally would not choose The Best Western however the choices are this hotel or camping. I have not been disappointed the times that I have stayed here. If you don't care for the breakfast buffet there is an IHOP right out back. Bed and pillows are comfortable and rooms have been clean. All in all no problem.

This was a great hotel for us. It is close (20 minutes) to Monticello and right off the freeway. The room was big enough for the four members of my family. The included breakfast had a good variety of food and was a great way to start the day.

I stay here at least twice a year for conventions, Management and the ENTIRE staff are very pleasant people. They always accommodate me regarding my discounts, room and whatever else I need for my stay. The rooms are nice and clean, breakfast is great, front desk staff at check-in and check-out is awesome. Management very nice. Nothing negative I can say, I really love my stay here at Best Western, thank you everyone!

Friendly and helpful staff ONLY downside to the 3 day visit was the extremely chilly temp in the breakfast and lobby area. I wasn't the only guest who stepped outside to be more comfortable It was very hot outsids,mid-90s, but too chilly to eat breakfast ...took it to my room

We broke up our drive to OBX by stopping outside of Charlottesville to break up the trip. The hotel appears to be fairly new. Found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The location is close to Charlottesville which we visited for dinner and plan on coming back to see the historic sights.

This bw was great! From the minute we checked in till 6 days later we left! It was great! Breakfast.. fitness, pool and hot tub and room all terrific! We will definitely go back there to visit our son!!

This property is well maintained and the staff was very friendly. The complimentary breakfast met expectations. The pool and hot tub were pretty nice, although we were fortunate enough that it wasn't crowded. The price is extremely high relative to comparable hotels we've stayed at, but I guess they are the only option in that area.

This place is convenience on the interstate, clean and friendly staff, I highly recommended if you are on business trip. It as whirl pool and spa and fitness center. Great for relaxation and getting your work done. HBO was very nice as well, especially if you need entertainment in your room.

We stayed overnight at this hotel, and it was the nicest Best Western we have ever visited. It was convenient to places to eat, comfortable, clean, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The grounds are lovely, with plenty of parking. Our breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices.

Was at Best Western for a conference. The hotel was very accommodating to our conferees. One little meeting room reservation bobble, quickly acknowledged and another room provided --- very professionally handled. IHOP literally across the parking lot from the hotel, easy walk; many other fast foods and restaurants across the highway. Indoor pool, fitness room, business center, everything you need for a pleasant stay. More suited to business stay than a vacation, there are no attractions nearby

We loved our stay. The hotel is in a great location. The staff is super friendly. It has a workout room, business center, pool, and hot tub! This was a super nice place to relax after a long day of sight seeing.

One of the nicest and most unique BW I have stayed at from the Blackfeet Indian decor of the lobby to the friendly, helpful front desk staff. Excellent breakfast and nice spacious room. Convenient location helped in exploring the central part of the state.

Exceptional value, close to Charlottesville. Spotless, fresh and convenient. Neede a spot near C-ville and this was a great choice. Clean and quiet, friendly. Breakfast was the usual fare for the setup, but lots of choices and a quick fill up before hitting the road. Highly reccomend, great value for the cost!

The location and the staff was A+++ The older hook-up as to the coonection for your cell phones and computers would be nice if they had USB hook-ups. The pillows seen a little to soft to use one only.

The atmosphere was inviting and it was conveniently located off 64, across from Walmart or other businesses, and IHOP next to their parking lot. It was in rather rural area, so was quiet. Having a landromat was a plus since we were there for sport tournament.

This is a relatively new hotel, well decorated, fresh and clean. The outstanding feature is the staff, from the desk to the housekeeper to the groundskeepers. Each person regardless of position, seems to have been trainined in the art of making people feel welcome and at home. There's a level of professionalism here we don't often find.

This Best Western in Zion Crossroads is a wonderful hotel to stay for leisure, business, meetings, or any other needs that you would have in the nearby Charlottesville Virginia area. I have stayed here at least 9 or 10 times in the last year and have always had consistent and wonderful and respectful service. The rules are always consistently clean as well as the hotel appearance and environment The only thing I would change is adding fried potatoes or home fries and biscuits to the breakfast. This would make it near perfect if not heaven jr.

Hotel and personnel are GREAT! Getting to the hotel is a little tricky, there is only one entrance in. If you miss that turn, you will need to make a u-turn. For breakfast you might want to visit the IHop, which is on the same grounds. Lack of variety and questionable quality.

Stayed here for family weekend at UVA since all of Charlottesville was filled. The room was very adequate for our two night stay. The bathroom was a bit rundown but plenty of counter space to put your stuff. The room was clean but we elected not to have them change our sheets and they didn't make the bed when they cleaned the room. I thought this very odd. That's one reason I choose a hotel over a house rental cause I like my bed made for me. I think it was an oversight on their part. Breakfast just ok nothing great. Front desk very nice. A little far from UVA but an easy ride to get there.

Best Western Plus has upped their game. This hotel has an amazing lobby with an American Indian theme. Rooms clean, staff super friendly, not just to guests but to each other. Nice to see. Good breakfast. Its a little pricey but I'd stay there again. Bed comfortable, not loving the pillows, way overstuffed but Ill just bring my own.

Upon arrival, the Best Western Plus Zion Crossroads Inn & Suites staff were accommodating and friendly. The pool and continental breakfast were both very nice. The staff really went above and beyond when we realized my son left his favorite stuffed animal in our room. The staff exhausted all possible hiding places for our stuffed animal friend and ultimately located and returned him!

Clean, comfortable, nice décor. Staff was exceptionally friendly. But what stands out about our experience was the breakfast... the best I have had in long while. Hats off to Jackie the attendant for a job well done!!

The hotel was nice as far as hotels go, nice appearance etc. Check-in was quick, the clerk was very professional. As others posted, the walls are thin and noises transfer but that's typical of most hotels. The pillows are very small and the HVAC fan ran continuously, regardless of settings. Maybe we stayed here on a bad day, but our experience with breakfast was the opposite of other reviewers. The breakfast was poor; the muffins and sweet rolls were very cold as if they were just taken from the refrigerator, the eggs were lukewarm as was the sausage. Not what we expected at all.

The hotel was a great experience. Newly remodeled. Great breakfast. It included pancakes waffles and even various cereals and yogurt and fruit. My children who are a little picky all has something they enjoyed. The hotel was perfectly clean. Most of all the staff was absolutely amazing- we loved our stay.

Everything was super: spotless, comfortable beds and room layout, fridge with freezer door, wonderful staff, and awesome breakfast. Only issue was thin walls. Not a good choice for light sleeper. Could hear snoring, conversation, dog barks, cars.... but so very nice anyway I had to go with 5 Stars.

What a nice place to stay. Staff was nice, place was as clean as a whiste, it looked almost new. Lobby is nicely decorated, Internet access was decent. Breakfast was a notch above the rest. I would stay here again.

First we were quoted a price and even returned the call to verify the price asked multiple times is this for both nights? Yes they assured us. We looked at the charges and were charged twice the amount. When went to desk she said it is for both nights. No mam if that is per night. So obviously they do not know how to discuss anything we let it go. however, a few days later all the money shows back up we call the bank they say yes they credited it back. We call the hotel she says yes one of your family members paid your room this morning when they left. They stayed later. Okay whatever, a day later they double the charges withdraw more money. I try calling to reason with them they basically call me a liar. i call corporate who basically says you have to speak to the hotel. Not only will I never stay at this hotel I will avoid all best westerns period. I have had nothing but rude conversations with people whom seem to believe it okay to withdraw money without authorization. On top of all that the room was not worth the first quote dang sure not worth what they charged. Crappy Hotel, Crappy management. i will say this the workers other than the desk were very nice.

Unique Native American Lobby Decor be sure to ask staff about this! Very pleasant and helpful. Rooms spacious and CLEAN ! Breakfast typical of Best Western nothing special. Pool looked nice but time did not allow our using it. Have laundry facility. Will keep this hotel on our list for traveling the NY to FL route for the future. Was disappointed this hotel not part of Best Western rewards. We were told they were independent but we could complete application for theirs.

My husband and son and I stayed at this hotel for three nights in July. We had several issues. The young woman who checked us in was not very friendly. The mattresses were hard and very uncomfortable. There were other family members on this vacation and everyone said the same thing about the beds. At breakfast one morning they ran out of coffee and didn't seem to be in a hurry to make more. And they ran out of breakfast items and didn't provide any more. We stayed at this hotel a few years ago and service was better then. Not abad experience but a disappointing one.

stayed here on are stop of Thomas Jefferson's home. was a good choice clean room , helpful staff. kids enjoyed the pool and fitness center . morning breakfast was good . had average morning breakfast food for a free meal. helpful person in area kept it clean.

I am planning a trip that takes me near Charlottesville, Virginia, and I wanted to do some research on places of accommodation on my way. I first saw this was a pet-friendly hotel (per the website) which made it a short-lister but then I read that it really shouldn't advertise as such as pet-friendly accommodations are limited if not altogether non-existent. I also knew a high school friend lived in this area and I contacted her to see what she knew, if anything, about this hotel as it would be a first day stop and last day stop. What she told me has me knowing this hotel is no longer on my list. Ironically, her autistic son had been employed by this hotel since 2010. I know enough about her life to know this son had made major strides since she was told he'd never talk or function on his own. This year, new management took over and he was fired. I am impressed by businesses that employ special needs individuals. If my room is comfortable and clean and I feel safe, I do not care if the staff is chatty or lacking whatever skill the new management thought he needed. Please think of your friends' children, especially those affected by autism, and ask yourself if you would patronize a business that discriminated against any disability.

Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was weak and the hot tub had green water which made the idea of taking a dip in the pool out of the question. The hotel is right off 64 so it is a convenient hop to C'ville.

I made a reservation at this hotel when I was moving to Palmyra. There web site said that they are pet friendly and to call the hotel directly for a Pet Friendly room. We did this only to find out the day before our stay that they only except dogs. NO CATS. This left my family stranded on the road with no place to go. The desk was rude saying I could stay and use the reservation but not the cat. The general manager Aislinn Osborne nerver called me back when I left a voicemail and a message with the front desk. Then had the gaul to say they cancelled my reservation with no penalty. She should have been the one penilized for false advertising. Fortunately Holiday Inn Charlottesville is in fact pet friendly. I will think twice before going to another Best Western and will never spend money on the crossroads Best Western. Buyers BEWARE.

Earlier this month we had Alumni Weekend at Fork Union Military Academy and I picked this hotel as it had easy access to I-64 and was midway between the school and Charlottesville. Good move on my part! Check in was a breeze and my first floor room was nice and clean. Lobby is a little on the small size and nicely decorated. A buffet breakfast was included with a good selection of options and hot coffee. There is an IHOP next door for those wanting more. I was pleased to see a lot of my other Alumni staying there also For those who want to shop a little there is a Walmart and a Lowes across the street allong with Popeyes, Mcdonalds and a few others. There is also a nice Chinese Restaurant with a bar where a few of us sat and chatted and ate and quenched our thirst. The Hotel istelf was very nice and there are a few conference rooms that can accomodate large parties. If ever traveling in the area again, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We were in town for a family graduation.We had stayed here once before .Will stay again when we are in town.Staff was very nice they had recommended a restaurant across the street .always a pleasure staying here

I recently stayed here for my daughters graduation from college. The manager was extremely pleasant at checkin. Our room was on the 4th floor and was very clean and well kept. I do not remember hearing any other guests doors opening or closing all night. The Bathtub was plenty large and the shower had plenty of hot water. In the evening there were cookies available at the front desk and coffee and hot chocolate was available around the clock. My daughters made use of the exercise equipment and had a good time. The manager gave us a discount coupon for the IHOP which is next door to the hotel. We had a satisfying meal at the IHOP and saved some money. Unfortunately we had to leave early before the complementary breakfasts was ready so I cannot comment on that. There are a couple of fastfood restaurants and a gas station a block or two away. The entrance to hwy 64 is really convenient. I highly recommend Best Western Hotel. The staff are friendly and made us feel welcome!

While the lobby area was small, it was well apportioned. The Native American decorations were phenomenal. I would have liked bacon at breakfast, but the other food offered was acceptable. The room was comfortable as was the other amenities. I particularly enjoyed the indoor pool and Jacuzzi. The service desk was very friendly and knowledgeable. The fact that there was an I-Hop next door was also a plus.

I had a last minute reservation and Hailey at the front desk helped me get the best rate and helped me to book 2 rooms. The reservation line was not helpful and kept raising the rates as they said that original room was booked. Spa was a little dirty looking but very nice place and greatly helpful.

Stayed here for an event at UVA....there was multiple events going on on campus and hotels in Cville were both hard to come by and very expensive. Stayed two nights in a very comfortable room, hot buffet breakfast (same both days), indoor swimming pool and hot tub. Two things kept this review from being a five. Hot tub needs a good cleaning and the breakfast food wasn't hot. When the food issue was brought to the attention of the staff, all she did was feel the pan and state "it's heating"...should have tried the food. Coupons for the restaurant next door (IHOP) but that is another story.

I was told when I checked in the room was $159.99, the bill was $172 when I checked out. I was also told there is coffee, juice and water available 24/7 regardless of when I checked out. There was nothing available and the guy that checked me out said it had just broken. No lights on so I'm not so sure of the truth. Be careful of price and offerings made

Stay every year for medical tests at the Neurology center. Great place to stay! Super clean, friendly atmosphere, great staff. Nice room. Nice restaurants nearby. Great Italian restaurant across the street. Yum!

My stay was by far the best of MANY hotel stays. Great service, great people, and very nice rooms. Only complaint was that the hotel was a bit hard to find from the highway. We had a group of about 30 individuals (some were couples) and not one of them expressed dislike or problems for our stay. I don't think I have been as satisfied with a property in quite a long time. As a firm Holiday Inn client I was really surprised that this stay was so much better. Thank you to all of the personnel who made this a great weekend.

Location is right off of I-64 close to food, gas, Lowes and Walmart, and yet still quiet. The staff was great, and the price was better than comparable hotels closer to Charlottesville. The room was nice and comfortable- it had the usual amenities and the AC unit allowed for climate control AND constant fan at the same time (this is really helpful for those of us who arrive & leave late- for the white noise effect). The only thing we didn't have was an AC outlet for charging on the nightstand- but that's minor. We'd definitely stay here again.

Very serviceable hotel, easily approached. Suite was more of a semi-suite, but met our needs without excesses. Did not use pool or fitness center this trip, but may on next trip. Breakfast was sufficiently varied.

Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Heated pool & small gym. On a staff members recommendation we had great pizza delivery from Lelo's Pizza. Rooms have a coffee maker, microwave & fridge. Not a bad place to be stuck for 2 days during Bomb Cyclone Storm Riley.

We stayed at the Best Western because it is pet friendly. Only certain rooms allow dogs, so make sure you call ahead. Our room was nice, big and clean. Breakfast was good and had a wide variety of food. The pool and hot tub area is nice. My only complaint is that the wifi was not working in our room. I called the tech support number but they weren't able to get it working. After spending an hour on the phone with them, I gave up and used my phone as a hotspot.

Great staff, great services, great experience! From the check-in to check-out the staff is always available to handle any request you have. Great locations for other needs, i.e. dining, shopping auto care, etc.

If you are a business and use a corporate card and need further information they cannot assist you. I have called many other hotels asking for the same information and they were very helpful. Some would have to investigate further but would get back with me within hours.

This hotel is in such a convenient spot! It's always clean and the lobby is very welcoming. The staff has always been very professional and the rooms are comfortable. They offer a free breakfast with lots of items. Not your typical free breakfast. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff, great amenities and décor. Easy check in, adjacent to IHOP and close to other restaurants. Price could be improved by use of hotel room searches like TripAdvisor or others, but subject to seasonal rate changes.

The fire alarm was pulled by a child unattended at a pool party. The after affects of this went on for hours after it was first silenced. Ridiculous....... And I asked for late check out and was denied on a Sunday... Also ridiculous... First and last stay at Best Western....

This is a very nice hotel with a friendly staff. The hotel was clean and the housekeeping was excellent. Location is okay. We were visiting Charlottesville and this is about 20 to 30 minutes from there.

Convenient hotel in the Interstate access cluster of Zion Crossroads. Simple, efficient hotel. We stayed in a semi-suite that was comfortable. Plenty of parking, restaurant next door which offered discount to hotel guests. Directly at the Interstate off ramp.

we stayed at a wonderful hotel on I64 in VA. The decor is not to be missed. It features indian items from the BLACKFEET of Montana. breakfast was top notch and delicious. It is pet friendly although we did not bring ours. close to the interstate for east on off

My family's stay at the Best Western Hotel at Zion Crossroads was outstanding!! The level of cleanliness and the professional service we received was excellent! They did a wonderful job of informing us of conveniences that were available at the hotel and in the surrounding area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Purchased 2 rooms during a return golf trip from Myrtle Beach. After settling in, neither of the 4 people in the 2 rooms could access the Internet. We called down to the front desk to see if there was a issue and was told depending on where our rooms were we might not get Internet service. This was definitely not mentioned at time of check-in. We were not offered another room. A email sent to the GM of the hotel after we left (as Management was not available) during our stay, was not replied too and after completing the survey sent by the hotel a " form" reply was received indicating if we had an issue to please contact the same GM. Again another email was sent and a week later I am still waiting her response. Very poor service-I though BW would treat their clients better than this! Who doesn't require the Internet in this day and age?

Everything here was outstanding. Liked being on 4th floor for the exercise. Cool that they had an indoor pool. Will definitely recommend and return here. Decent restaurants nearby. Close enough to either Richmond or Charlottesville.

I have stayed here often for work it is very nice, quiet and near restaurants and shopping. The breakfast is outstanding and the staff is great. I always stay on first floor for easy access, accommodations are first class!

This hotel is clean, attractive, friendly, and economical--a real gem for travelers. The Breakfast Room is exceptional, with an excellent variety of food including hot oatmeal, all presented most appealingly, in a clean, roomy, and pleasant space. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and although I didn't use it, there is even a pet friendly floor.

This is a very modern property that welcomes you when you enter. The entire staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are well appointed and the bed is very comfortable. The entire experience was greater than expected and very welcome. Stayed 2 nights because we enjoyed it so much. Located just off the Interstate it has easy access but is far enough away that you don't hear the noises.

We had planned a weekend getaway and we wanted to keep the price down. We found this location and were very happy about that! Very friendly helpful staff. Great price and very comfortable stay. My husband is a huge breakfast fan and he was very happy with the choices and type of food presented for breakfast. We would definitely stay at this location if we are ever back in the area.

Every staff mamber I encountered from the front desk at checkin to the custodial staff were friendly and professional. Food at breakfast was hot and tasty (I missed the waffles that are usually at "Best Western". Now there is a "pancake machine" I would rather have waffles). Overall was very satisfied.

We have family that lives close to this hotel. Great place to stay. We have had no problems. Staff has always been very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast has a good variety of food and was well maintained.

Beautiful building we have seen this hotel built we finally got stay here. Staff is very friendly. Pool area us very nice. They do have a complementary breakfast very nice. Easy access to to 64 either to Charlottesville or Richmond it is also pet friendly if you travel with your fur babies

Oh where do I begin... For the amount of money this "hotel" is charging you would think the service would be better. I am a mother with children. I came by myself with my children for a family event. Our first night the fridge didn't work. I called and they said they'd look at it. That never happened, so once I returned from feeding the kids I asked the front staff about it. He said they couldn't switch out fridges because they were bolted in the wall (untruth) so I dealt with it and prayed the milk for my children would stay safe enough to drink until I could handle it the next day. Our internet crashed all the time. We were constantly losing signal and the strength of the signal has never been the full 4 bars. Our room wasn't serviced because our beds were pushed together and no one bothered to say anything. I have small ones and that's how I have to do it. In other establishments they separate and make the beds and I just push them back. Not here. Asked for quarters to do my laundry that was a negative as well. No quarters. So now I have to pack everyone and everything up and move us to another hotel. This is ridiculous and completely unsatisfactory. This place is a joke! So drive an extra 20 minutes and stay in Charlottesville! It's not worth it believe me!

The hotel wouldn't let me cancel my reservation at 8am on the same day as my stay, even though the hotel was booked solid. They could have easily sold my room. Not good customer service for a loyal Best Western Customer.

A musty odor in room 103 at check-in, and a door with a connecting room (101) that let in noise throughout the night detracted from what would have otherwise been a comfortable stay. Hotel could also benefit from signage that could make it easier to find from the main road (Rte 15) for first-time guests.

Friendly, clean, comfortable & a great price. From the lobby, checkout, breakfast to departure it is an easy experience. All the needed amenities are there. The free breakfast had everything you could imagine you would want for breakfast. Beds are very comfortable and the room is attractive.

Don't use this facility if you need wireless internet access. Some rooms get it and others don't. Only guaranteed reception is in the lobby area. The location is beautiful, the rooms were clean, but just no internet, especially in corner rooms. They need to invest in covering these blind spots or at least inform customers at time of check in.

The carpet in the room was wet from the air conditioner which is loud and never stops running. The air conditioner is right next to the bed so it blows right on you. The rooms smelled musty, probably from the wet floor. Shower was small and was like being in a box. Breakfast was okay. People smoke right outside the front door so even though it is supposed to be smoke free, it really isn't. Dogs are allowed. Overall not worth the money!!

This is the place I put up my friends, family and clients. It's centrally located, about 45 minutes to Richmond and 30 to C'Ville. It's in a rural area so not any city noise etc. It's right off Highway 64 so it's a quick on and off and easy to find. It's RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO iHOP! You can eat 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. iHop is a favorite night time stop for the State Highway Patrol and Sheriff's officers, so feel safe! They recently (within the last year or so) remodeld the lobby, added a gift shop and have a really cool Native American vibe going on. The dining area (where they serve breakfast) is large, comfortable and equipped with wifi. The pool is clean, good sized for family fun, but you can get your laps in too. There are bathrooms off the lobby that are nice - clean. They have a large room you can rent/use for receptions, classes, events. Lots of parking and a covered entrance. The rooms got a remodel too. Some are fantastic, some have had smokers puffing away so ask for a nonsmoking room rather than assuming. If you get one of the older rooms that hasn't been cleaned or remodeled, ask for a replacement and they'll oblige. The staff has always been good to great - friendly and helpful. Rates are better if you reserve online. I save from $15 to $30 by reserving online. Joine their loyalty club (Free) and save even more money. It's hard to book a room on weekends there's a football or sports game, and in the spring during UVA's graduation month it's a nightmare. Reserve your room early! Wedding season, graduation and fall school dates tend to fill up fast. There's a Walmart Supercenter across the road, along with a Wendys, Taco Bell, Arbys, and chicken place. Down the road about 2 miles is a McDonalds, so lots of fast food choices if you like that. But there are also several good restaurants within half a mile or less. I HIGHLY reccommend "Made in Asia" next to Subway and the 24hour gym. EXCELLENT Thai food and very, very reasonable prices. They also have takeout.

The BW Plus Crossroads Inn & Suites, Zion Crossroads, VA was an excellent place to stay. We were attending an open house at Fork Union Military Academy. We wanted to come the evening before and stay the night before the open house the next morning. Definitely appreciated the free breakfast as we look for that so we don't waste time and money on a restaurant outside of the hotel.

This hotel was very comfortable. I especially liked the Native American decor in the lobby. Beds were excellent. Just a short drive to Charlottesville. The room smelled like rotten eggs and dirty carpet. The sheets looked yellow and the pillows looked very old. The outside of the hotel had cheap, fake flowers. Breakfast was good and my cleaning lady was great. I told her about the smelly room (after the first night) and she told me she would bleach the toilets, which seemed to help with the room smell. However, for the price, I paid, I would have expected far more. Was told that the room rate would be reduced due to the smell and odor, but at checkout the bill did not reflect the promised reduced rate. Overall not impressed and wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone else. The location seems to be the selling point for this hotel. When I called the front desk and complained about the rate and value, the hotel quickly reminded me that the hotel is the only one for miles around... Seems BW is able to stay in business because their isn't competition in the area right now. Overall disappointing stay.

We loved this hotel! This is an up to date hotel with a very impressive lobby with an old west American Indian design and helpful staff to greet you. We took a room on the fourth floor which was very nice and quiet. The room with two queen beds had plenty of space and the beds are very comfortable. The free breakfast area was also nice and roomy. All of the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

We went to a wedding nearby and opted to stay here rather than in Charlottesville. Everything was good. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful. We would come back here for sure. For events at the Keswick Vineyards, this is a good hotel.

Made a reservation 6 August, Confirmed on 19 September, Hotel called me 5 hours before my check in time on Friday 22 September and told me there was a problem with my credit card. Called back with a credit card to keep the reservation was told by the Manager she was done and she was finished. Checked their website 20 minutes after and the hotel was booked IMAGINE THAT .... Horrible Customer Service I will never attempt to stay at this hotel again or any other best western as long as I live!!!!

Very nice hotel. Walked into lobby and found it full of American Indian artifacts and décor. First time I ever took a picture of a hotel lobby. Breakfast lady was very good at keeping the food stocked and counter area clean.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. We had a great time. The hotel is clean, comfortable and affordably priced. It's very nice to have breakfast included. It has easy access to the main interstate.

So, I started with the light in the bathroom. That's because I stayed at seven different hotels on this trip and this was the only one with enough light in the bathroom to do makeup! Overall, this was probably the number 1 or number 2 place we stayed. It was a little pricey for the area, but I guess you get what you pay for. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and the large television had a HD picture! Other than the bathroom l ight, I also loved the breakfast area. It's large and actually has four walls. The different stations were spread out around the room, so no one area was crowded. And there was a microwave, in case your coffee or anything else needed a bit of warming up. I would definitely stay here again, if I was in the area.

Have stayed here about 4 times over couple years. Always a clean, well kept, well managed, quiet, modern property. Close enough -- by commute -- to Charlottesville and Jefferson's Montpellier. Must have a car. Basic buffet breakfast included. Eggs, pancakes, sausage, bagels, cereal, coffee, juice, etc. alert! Entrance by car is via a service road from a traffic light on Rt 15 north of the hotel. No direct access from rt 15 so be careful not to drive past the light looking for an entrance ramp, since there is none.

By far one the of the nicest pet friendly hotels where have stayed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and very clean. Always appreciate nice pet friendly hotels. There are so few of them.

We stayed here for one night over Labor Day weekend. Check in &a check out was fast, easy and the staff friendly. The rooms were typical hotel rooms, clean, good shower pressure and drainage. The breakfast area was large and well maintained. The lady working was helpful. The food was a good variety typical hot and cold hotel breakfast fare. My girls used the pool and enjoyed it very much. This is considered a Best Western Plus but I still thought it was more expensive than it needed to be, but based on my research of the Charlottesville area the pricing was normal for the area.

I am very impressed with the new Best Western look and feel. This is not your father's Best Western. A wonderful night's stay and affordable. I will be looking for Best Westerns on future trips. We enjoyed the room, the food, the service, everything.

The Best Western Plus in Zion Crossroads was a clean, comfortable modernized hotel with terrific staff. We totally enjoyed our three nights there and hope to come back to this same hotel in the future. The lobby was decorated with beautiful Native American artifacts. The breakfasts were delicious. The staff was friendly and made you feel like family. The biggest surprise were the comfortable mattresses. My mother had the best night sleeps she's ever had at a hotel, with none of the typical backaches she gets from seeping in hotel mattresses. Definitely a great value, a fine experience.

We are traveling North to visit family as we do every year. This is the first time we stay at this Best Western and were very happy with our stay. The room was fine with a large bathroom. The breakfast was good. The access from the highway was easy. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed at this motel as it is the closest to my daughters home in Palmyra. I am disabled and unable to stay at their house. This hotel was very nice. Had a large selection for things for breakfast. Easy to get around inside the room. My grandson came over and played in the pool/hot tub while my daughter and I were able to spend some time chatting. Will return again.

The hotel overall was nice, clean. Problem with having a reception at the hotel...that went on until the next morning. The pool area was overtaken by the guests of the reception and the guests were loud with slamming doors and yelling in the hall. I stayed two nights and the first night was great.

Very clean and fresh smelling hotel. If you read my other reviews you'll see this is the most important thing about a hotel. The pool was very nice and warm, the room was quiet, free newspaper. Not sure what else is around the area, but a great place if going to Monticello (10-15 minutes away).

All of the staff were friendly, professional and courteous. The decor of the hotel felt very homey. The room was spacious and clean, breakfast had a great variety of food. I did not use the pool, fitness center or business center.

As soon as we entered the lobby of this motel, we knew it was something special! Beautiful Western art of all sorts on the walls and in display cases set the stage for a very nice experience. Nice clean room, good accommodations for a handicapped individual, delicious breakfast selections, comfy bed. What more could you want. Easy access to I-64.

My wife and I used this motel because it was closest to family (in Palmyra) and was priced below other motels in the Charlottesville VA area. Our room had a distinctive odor that was likely sprayed with Fabreze but the covering spray was not that pleasant to us. I had a hard time getting my Mac laptop to connect to the wireless and had to use desk staff and telephone connection to remote IT support to finally get connected. Staff was helpful but the problems were beyond their capabilities. This was the only hotel in many stays where I had trouble connecting with Wifi. we might use it again when we next visit because of closeness to Palmyra but will explore other options next time.

Very clean and comfortable stay at this location. The staff are friendly and willing to answer all questions. I really enjoyed the indoor pool for my family and the fitness center. I would choose to stay here again in the future.

We were put here by Bluegreen Resorts. I was upset that we were not on the resort; however, this Best Western was very nice. The rooms were clean, the pool area was very clean and lots of towels; the staff was spot on for helping whenever we had a request or question. The continental breakfast was more than ample in choices and very well maintained.

Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. We were only disappointed that they would not allow us to have an extra hour at check out, because we had a very late check in and were, thus, unable to use the amenities like the swimming pool.

Clean, serviceable hotel, located at the off-ramp off the Interstate. Our semi-suite was well laid out -- but, while they call it a suite, there is only a short divider between bed area and desk/couch area. But it works. Breakfast was a bit thin, but we went to the nearby restaurant anyway

Got a great deal on this hotel, which is right off the highway very close to Charlottesville and all it's sights. Front desk was very helpful with directions, breakfast was very good and we found the price right for what we got.

Just got home from a one night stay. I'm not sure what makes a best western a "plus", but this one was not a "plus" in my book. Their pillows are so small they are square instead or rectangle. The breakfast was not very appealing. Danish were ice cold, and the eggs were wet. But my biggest issue came when I checked my credit card when I got home. They added a $10 "incidental" fee. When I called to ask about it, they said they charge it to my card for any incidentals, and it will come off 7 to 10 days later. First of all I am a rewards member. Nice way to treat your loyal customers. Second, that room will be filled at least a half a dozen times before I ever get my money back!! Once that room has been cleaned and it has been verified that nothing is damaged or missing, what gives them the right to hold my money for another 7-10 days. Yes, it's only 10 bucks, but it's my 10 bucks, and if they do that to every customer, that's a lot of extra money they are holding onto. Maybe some people don't check their bill, call, and ask about it. Maybe they keep it for "incidentals" that never occured. Third, I was never informed that I would be charged an incidental fee. I did not authorize this charge, and I think they have a lot of nerve just adding charges to my card without my knowledge. When I called their customer care, all I got was we will reach out to "see" if the fee can be removed sooner. So if you decide to stay in this so so hotel, make sure you keep an eye on your credit card for "incidental" fees. This is the first time this has ever happened at a best western.

The hotel was fine. The price was ridiculous. Breakfast staff was rude and didn't replenish items when they ran out. The room was good. The desk staff was nice. But $164 for a night in a Best Western is just stupid in my opinion. I would've kept driving but my family was really tired and hungry so we stayed.

The front desk was extremely rude. I arrived very early and was prepared to wait for my room. The gal at the front desk was extremely rude about protocol and wouldn't expedite the room service. There was nothing available although I was prepared to exchange my room for anything available. After waiting 2 hours she proceeded to check in new guests.with nothing available to me. I would have understood if she had been a bit kinder. Her attitude was disrespectful at best. I will never stay there again!

Needed hotel for UVA Graduation weekend. Room rates were so much higher during this time. Especially in Charlottesville. So I found this BW to be close enough and less pricey. We loved everything about this hotel. My daughter, the graduate, needed to arrive before me and so I called the hotel to have her name added to the reservation. Whether dealing with the staff by phone or in person everyone was so pleasant.

I have used this hotel for several years to spend the night in the Charlottesville with a group of 12 to 15. Check-in and check-out are very efficient and trouble free. There has never been any problems with our stay as the rooms are neat and clean with no problems. The decor is interesting with a native American theme. You cannot go wrong with this hotel in terms of amenities and professional service.

We recently stayed at this location for 2 nights. The rooms were average size but clean. The décor of the hotel lobby was very nicely done. Breakfast room was great, wide variety of food and the staff did not kick you out if you were there a few minutes after 10:00. I do have to say that the second day the eggs and sausage were cold and had to be rewarmed in the microwave. Staff was friendly and helpful with dinner suggestions. Discount if you go to the IHOP right next door.

Was staying in the area for a concert over in Charlottesville and a visit to Monticello the following day. The service was top notch all around which lead to pleasant experience without any drama at all. The price was reasonable considering everything that was going on in the Charlottesville area over this particular weekend. Highly recommend.

Ok, so the hotel itself isn't that bad.. the front desk staff is very nice ,there are some renovations that need to be done as this place is somewhat dated... but the reason. I'm writing a bad review on this hotel is bc when we stayed here there just so happened to be. 10 yr olds bday party booked , we checked in before 3 when the party was,I guess, in its beginning stages and had pool area for kids until 7 pm! How are other guests supposed to enjoy pool time? Now it might not have been so bad if it was just a few kids, no, there was like 15+ kids from the ages of like 4 - to what looked like 13... my husband and I wanted to enjoy the jacuzzi bc we have joint issues and after a long day of walking, we needed this time... kids were up and running around the pool area, jumping in and out , throwing balloons and beach balls everywhere.. we had the jacuzzi to our selves for a bit and tried to relax but getting hit with water and kids getting in and out of the jacuzzi is just plain annoying.. parents are aroundbut apparently don't care about other people's personal space so kids never got told to respect our space... worst part was the young child, still wearing diapers, his mother took off his diaper ,in the pool area, DID NOT wipe him or anything and just pulled up his trunks and let him jump back into the pool ... that was it for us! No more!!! HOW DISGUSTING ! And what a health hazard!!!!!! Never once saw an employee of the hotel checking in on this pool party... so there was no monitoring ... very discouraging and it will be the reason we will never stay here again. By the way, this hotel is away from everything . At least 15 miles from sites and nothing but chain restaurants near it... darn, we missed the mark on this one.

Nice place to stay with family for our wedding event in the country nearby. We were pleasantly surprised to find something so convenient and still not too far away from my daughter's country wedding. Our family enjoyed being able to be together from our various long drives. It was restful and fun.

We were very , very pleased with our recent stay at Best Western in Zions Crossroads, Va. The staff was more than helpful and courteous. The hotel and grounds were very well kept and maintained. If we are in the area again we would most definitely stay at this Best Western.

Way over priced compared to 2 metro areas approximately 20-40 miles away. Service was okay and the breakfast was just okay. Beds were okay not overly comfortable. Pool is nice with hot tub amenity. Do not recommend this hotel for the price. Way nicer and cheaper stays just a few minutes away.

Very good stay, two days long, too short. The only location where I needed to be so the choice was no choice. I thought the cost was above what I would have normally spent to visit family. The next closest location of acceptable quarters was too far away to be practical.

I was traveling back home from a winter stay in Myrtle Beach and had been traveling all day. Stopped for the evening at this Best Western and found out there was a conference 15 miles away and all the hotels were booked solid. The gentleman on duty that evening went out of his way to book me into the last room available as it was dark and I was not able to drive the 85 miles to the next place that might have room available. As with all Best Westerns, the hotel was excellent, very clean, and very accommodating.

Room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. They had a great breakfast. The breakfast had a large variety. The staff in the breakfast room were great My family enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. It snow while I was there last week. The location was great to jump on interstate or take the back roads. Close to shopping and food. IHOP is same parking lot. You can walk over for a meal. Enjoy my first trip to Virginia

The room and hallways had been treated with an air or carpet deoderizer. My wife suffers from ashma and COPD and cannot tolerate these odors. I would think that hotels would know that these deoderizers only cover up unpleasant odors and would not be advisable to use for manyguests.

Good, clean hotel and have stayed here in the past. It is the only hotel in the near vicinity. Will stay here again on future trips, have taken advantage of the pool and nearby restaurant as well as local dining options across the highway.

I had to call early for a room because it's the only game in town, so to speak. The desk clerk was very good at his job and made me feel welcome. They had an indoor pool, fitness room, business center and pretty good breakfast. My room was on the third floor and the bed was very comfortable and the room had a good shower, fridge and microwave, tow phones. The only negative was the WiFi, it was not as fast as I expected

Mr. Golden and the young lady working the evening of 11/05 were incredibly helpful and made our stay a great one. We were staying with about a dozen families from my son's team and we all had a great time. Thank you so very much for your hospitality!!

Arrived after midnight, staff was super nice and checked me in quickly. The rooms are huge and the beds are very comfortable. Everything is super clean. There is even a fireplace in the lobby, which is very welcoming and lovely. Will happily stay again.

Nice hotel; seems to be fairly new with all the amenities. Great free breakfast in the morning with a lot of choices. Very clean and quiet. We stayed here 2 nights in October 2016. Beware though, when we returned home, the hotel had charged us for 4 nights instead of 2 nights. Eventually was straightened out but the hotel staff was a bit snippy about it.

Front desk staff (Golden, Mgr and Gerry (Jerry?) were very helpful in getting me a good rate. They had infectious smiles and positive attitudes. The beds were comfortable (very important to me) and the internet worked well (also important) The last time I stayed here (about three weeks ago), I enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. They have a hot breakfast with a good selection, from cold cereal to waffles to eggs and meats. I would gladly recommend this property to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

One of the most comfortable hotels to stay in after a long drive. The location is off the main road so it is very private and is directly next to an IHOP restaurant which was great for the kids. this was my second time staying here and i would not want to look anywhere else when i travel back down here in the future.

Very mixed bag and mixed impressions. Maybe 3.5* stars. Let's start with the bad, the room itself is a bit outdated and I could not get hot water (for shower or sink) in the morning. The good: Staff are incredibly friendly, breakfast has many options include those amazing make-your-own pancake machines, wifi is fast, room is clean and little outside noise, even thought it was sold out. About 20 minutes down the highway to Charlottsville, which is an easy drive. Sheetz across the street.

Very nice hotel - clean and easy access to Rt 64. The staff was pleasant and helpful. You can get breakfast in the hotel or go across the street to IHop where you get a 20% off the bill. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! It is really really clean, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, they have a wonderful HOT breakfast bar which is not advertised, and did I say CLEAN?!! The reception area of the hotel is decorated in American Indian motif with some relics in glass cases. After talking to one of the employees, she told us that the owner is a native American and it is part of his collection. Very cool!! :) They have a nice gift shop with all handmade and local crafts and some antique pieces. Lovely people run the gift shop, very friendly. We were hesitant about staying at this hotel because it was outside Charlottsville and we were doing the wine loop. It's an easy hop onto I64 and you are in wine country in 10 minutes....and you just saved 50% on your hotel room! WIN! IHOP is in back of the hotel. Walmart, Lowe's, Wendy's and a dozen other stores & restaurants are right across the street. The room that we had (king suite) had a small frig, microwave, safe, and small coffee pot. The only thing that I would change is the fact that there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom which was annoying. Highly recommend this hotel. A+++

When my wife and I booked this hotel we did see it had 4 stars so we thought we have to check it out. We were only in town for the night. The gentleman at the front desk was very professional and funny. When you walk in the front doors you automatically smell a fresh clean scent. The breakfast is pretty good. I wouldn't bother with the IHOP right next door. The room was big, clean and comfortable. Next time we go up there for the weekend for wine tours we will definitely stay there without a doubt.

This was one of the nicest Best Westerns we have stayed in.The room was very large. Along with the nice comfortable bed, we had a comfortable, roomy sitting area and clean, clean bathroom. The breakfast had many healthy options and we were satisfied after the meal. The lobby was interestingly decorated and the manager was very professional. We stayed here because we would be close to Monticello.

Brand new hotel very nicely decorated, and very friendly staff. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was very nice, with many choices. Nice location, right off the Interstate. Good choices of restaurants close by.

Friendly service, adequate rooms, facilities. We were happy with the continental breakfast and hotel decor. Front desk staff and cleaning staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. I would stay there again and its nice to see the area is up and coming offering more and more services in the area.

Great staff, extra clean and comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast included. It is easy to reach off I-64 and only 15 minutes to Charlottesville and UVA and 30 minutes to Richmond. The I-Hop next door gives a 20% discount to hotel guests.

We stayed for two days when our outer banks vacation was stormed out. Overall, the facility is very nice. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Common areas are clean. Beds are comfortable. We have stayed here before and always loved how the pool was nice and warm. Not anymore. The pool was chilly and the air temperature in the pool room is a VERY cool 68 degrees. On the up side, it looks like they upgraded the lighting in the pool room. It was very well lit where before it was dark. The pool and spa were very clean, no off odors, plenty of towels. Our room was not serviced so I had to get towels and toiletries from the desk, but they were cheerfully provided.

Everyone was great --and sincerely willing to help and were sincerly friendly!! Rooms ere comfy, clean, and quite roomy! excellent and staff ---night and day staff and kudos to the kitchen/ hostess staff! thanks!

If this location matches your needs, there is nothing else in the area that can compare. Rooms and entire property are neat and clean. Rate is reasonable. Service is very good. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast prepared by Jackie is much better than others and plentiful. Well presented and supplied.

The hotel room was quiet and easily accessible. The staff was cheerful and helpful. We couldn't figure out how to turn the bath vent on when showering. One of the two switches in the bath turned the light on and the other one didn't do anything so I think this must have been for the vent but was out of service. The hotel is easily accessible from the road and adjacent to an IHOP, which is awesome.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Staff was wonderful. Room was comfortable and very clean. The lobby was warm and inviting. Breakfast was the best we've had at hotels. We will continue to stay here on future trip to Charlottesville. Easy drive to Charlottesville and most anything you need is close by.

I stayed here over nite on my way to Va. Beach. Front desk employees were very friendly. The room was very nice and very up to date. Everything was very clean including their "clean" TV remote which is flat and easy to sanitize. TV was large and up to date. The complimentary breakfast had about everything most folks would enjoy. The hotel is next to IHOP and across the street is a few other dining options. Very impressed.

We stay at the Best Western regularly for family area visits. It's very difficult to get a reservation during UVA football season, so plan accordingly. We have always found this to be a fairly quiet, very clean hotel and the recent upgrade to the complimentary breakfast makes the entire package a plus.

Very clean n smells great.. Pool very nice size n temp of pool and hot tub perfect.. However, i couldnt swim more than 15 minutes because the pool room is air conditioned so i started to freeze.. Didnt bother my kids but would be nice to swim n not freeze.... Rooms nice sized n clean (we had 2 queen beds). Breakfast nice n staff nice n helpful. Great place to stay

This hotel does not warrant the rate that they post. They take advantage of the fact they are one of the few decent properties between Richmond and Charlottesville. If you don't have to stay in that immediate area drive on to Charlottesville or Richmond where there is more than just a WalMart and an overpriced hotel. Unit was not clean and breakfast a flop.

Overall, had a nice visit at this location. The front desk staff were very helpful as I was checking in. Room was clean overall and had no issues w/ the AC unit (stays nice and cold - I like a little "white noise" personally) or any smells as previous posters have mentioned. There were a few hairs left in the bathtub, however, so that was a little gross. Pillows were very strange - oddly shaped and kind of small. Bed is comfortable enough. Wifi works well enough for my purposes. Breakfast is OK depending on your preferences I suppose. I tried the pancake machine one morning and figured out it makes kind of flat, spongy pancakes, so that was not to my liking. Scrambled eggs were a little too runny and flavorless. However, the coffee machine was always full and the staff in the breakfast room were very friendly and accommodating.

My family stopped overnight at BW during a roadtrip in July 2016. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was. The staff was professional and friendly, the hotel was clean and maintained, and the amenities were plentiful. The breakfast was very nice. We will certainly stay there again.

The location was good, right off the highway. Clean place with a friendly staff. Lobby was decorated nicely. The breakfast options were some of the best that we have seen at Best Westerns. Free WiFi was easy to use.

Best Western has been around a long time and many of their hotels were average, overnight stopovers only. This one is a Plus. The room was nice and clean (rented a King with sofabed -minimizes the claustrophobic feel of small hotel rooms. The lobby is great with a Southwest Native American theme. One of the most interesting and inviting small lobbies I have seen. Near the I64 and close to Charlottesville. This place was packed last weekend. It does have only one elevator but the stairwell is carpeted and quick if you like exercise. The free breakfast was average but that is where I place most of them these days. One thing I would change--Maxwell House Coffee? Never my favorite and they could go upscale some on that. Otherwise, very nice place recommended by friends and the staff was courteous and friendly. Good job Zion Crossroads BWP.

Hotel was a really good one for the cost and breakfast was included. Very clean, courteous staff, location central. Enjoyed! We would stay here again. We had not stayed at a Best Western recently and were pleased.

Service was excellent, but check your room before unpacking. The A/C units are old and noisy, and our room had a distinct cigarette odor mixed with a damp, musty smell as if the room hadn't been used since 1980. Breakfast, on the other hand, was awesome.

This is a really cute hotel. The room was clean and comfy. They offer free WiFi and a free breakfast in the morning. They have an indoor pool and an indoor jacuzzi. The lobby is really interesting with historical artifacts, it looks like a museum. There is a big parking lot with an ihop on the same parcel. It is confident off the highway but far enough off to be pretty quiet

Pleasant people both employee's and guest,had pleasant conversation with both guested and staff ! Very nice room it was clean and had a nice T.V good size bathroom hair dryer , Healthy choice of breakfast food fresh fruit, bagels yogurt hot & cold cereal waffles, pancakes,mini muffins, English muffins ,egg's sausage . Very helpful and friendly staff ! Gas station and stores close buy. Very convenient location . We enjoyed our stay there and our looking forward to our next visit there

We were at the Best Western for a conference and were pleased with the facility and the great staff. Most reviews give the staff very positive reviews and they are on the mark - a really great group of folks. Overall a nice hotel with more meeting room variety than I have seen in similar size properties. The rooms are adequate but ours was a bit stale which was a surprise because they seen to be a high volume hotel. Room was generally clean but the very nice chair (fabric cover) in the room was in serious need of cleaning. I agree with many others, a very comfortable bed - above average. The tv remote was in a special holder - no big deal but always nice to be able to find the remote. Another plus was the tv guide was easy to find (big notebook) and it was accurate! One of the co-owners is from Montana and is associated with the Blackfeet tribe (if I understood correctly). He has an extensive collection of Native American and western items on display that would be worth stopping by the lobby to visit. Another recent review noted the lack of fresh fruit in the breakfast room. I was there two mornings and was disappointed with no fruit the first day but the next morning, it was on the bar. The pancake machine was a real treat! Our group overall were pleased and hope that issues in our room were not widespread. I wish they had made available containers for recycling items such as paper, plastic and cans either in the rooms or in the halls.

Fantastic hotel! This was one of the nicest small town hotels I have ever stayed at. Everything was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were delightful after a long day and they had an excellent continental breakfast, with plenty of options. Highly recommend!

This hotel has a wonderful group of staff members, clean and comfortable rooms to sleep in, is nicely decorated, and provides a pretty decent & complimentary breakfast. Forgot something? not to worry...there's a Walmart just across the street, along with a gas station and a handful of places to eat, so everything you need is right there.

Good location for visiting Charlottesville and the surrounding area. This Best Western is decorated with Western cowboys and Indians themes, which is fun for the kids. It even has a gift shop! Small indoor pool and a hot tub, open til 11 pm, to rest your tired legs after a long day. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast has a lot of choices, from oatmeal with toppings, French toast, make your own pancakes, eggs, cereal, yogurt, fruit.

The hotel staff were friendly and professional. The room was large, with a king bed, a refrigerator, sofa, sitting area, and nice-sized bathroom. There were 2 large windows with a lot of light during the day, and curtains blocked out all light for sleeping. It was quiet and we slept well. The breakfast could have been better though. The eggs weren't very good, and there were lots of high-carbohydrate food items and no fresh fruit. Otherwise we were satisfied with our stay and would stay there again.

My daughter and I recently traveled to Virginia for some touring. We stayed in the Best Western PLUS Crossroads Inn & Suites, in Zion Crossroads, Virginia. The evening staff were fantastic and the establishment was top notch! We will keep them in mind for any future visits to that area.

I usually use this hotel because its close to my family home. When we hold our reunions I'd rather not stay in Charlottesville. I did not appreciate having to stay in what was to be a NON SMOKING room, that was layered in smoke. There was nothing the staff could do about it. They provided me with a bottle of air freshener. And all other rooms where booked for the weekend.

Stayed here while attending a family wedding in the area. We were super tired when we arrived to check in. Great staff at the front desk started our stay with a smile. Room was fine but the beds were GREAT and all of us enjoyed a really restful night. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

We had two bad experiences with this hotel. One was from placing a reservation (for a family reunion) through Expedia where the dates got booked wrong. After calling to get them changed, we were waiting on follow-up from a manager, who responded a month later and then said it was too late to do anything about it. Ok, sometimes mistakes happen. Second bad experience was in showing up for said reunion to take an extra room a family member had booked. We got there and were told that the room had been cancelled. Although this was the hotel's fault and the family member had the name the member of hotel staff he had talked to just days before about the room and asked to speak to him, we were told there was nothing that could be done, they were booked. Again, things happen. They were booked and had no rooms. But Autumn Campbell represented the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Not so much as an apology for an inconvenience. She refused to call the hotel staff who had cancelled the room. She refused to put us on the waiting list. With no where else to go, we displaced a generous family member, and ended up staying there anyway. The amenities were good. Breakfast was fantastic! Staff serving were very friendly. But truly, the worst customer service. Could have been a much nicer stay, and one I would have gladly paid twice for. As it stands, I would avoid at all costs.

My room was clean, staff were SUPER nice, breakfast was better than comparable hotels. The staff working in the breakfast buffet area was exceptionally nice. If there was one thing I would give criticism on it would be the walls. They were a little thin so some sounds did carry.

Very nice hotel within an easy drive of Monticello. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The lobby had beautiful native american artifacts surrounding a rustic fireplace. We had dinner at a very nice Italian restaurant in the plaza across the road. Breakfast at the hotel was buffet with a good variety of foods. Well worth a repeat visit.

Quiet, clean rm, and Alfred was outstanding went above and beyond when we left something behind, he bought the items next door to the I Hop where we were eating... He deserves a raise. Check in was a breeze and check out was better.

Top notch motel. All aspects were great. All personnel were helpful and well trained. We'd recommend it and stay again! Breakfast was complete with helpful service. Room was comfortable and clean. Lobby décor of native America was interesting.

Overall would rate this a 10. There were 2 problems as explained in the survey; breakfast room for all quests was closed for a private 8 yr. olds' B'day party one night when we returned to hotel. The hot tub was not working. There was a blip with our room rate, but quickly resolved. We will stay again as our family leaves in the area. My husband gives the breakfasts an 8.

The location of this hotel close to Richmond, Charlottesville, and Palmyra. It is clean, the staff is friendly and attentive to the guests. The beds are excellent and I prefer to stay here when working in Charlottesville.

Pretty nice place to stay. Rooms were clean and fairly updated. Air conditioner was a little loud. The lobby was well decorated and the staff was very nice. Will stay here again if I am in the area in the future.

Our group chose to stay at The Best Western Plus originally for location. As it turned out, we would stay there again even if it was not the best property for our destination location. The property is very conveniently located to I-64 and quite a few local activities and options. The staff from the Banquet Sales manager (Brittany)on did a GREAT job of taking care of our party ( @20 people) for multiple nights.The front desk managers (Autumn & Debrick) were extremely helpful. The food service (Breakfast ) manager (Jackie) did a fantastic job and the food was well above any expectations and better than almost every other similar property where I have ever stayed. This is an EXCELLENT OPTION for your stay if you are fortunate to visit this beautiful part of the country.

This has to be the best hotel staff ever created. From the moment we arrived until saying farewell, the very professional staff did everything possible to make our visit memorable. We reserved three rooms for family attending graduation at FUMA and everyone was impressed with the genuine interest in our comfort and pleasure. We arrived after an overnight at a nearby resort and agreed that this BEST WESTERN was far superior in every way.

Hotel exceeded our expectations in all areas. Rooms were large, well equipped, clean, and quiet. Hotel staff were courteous, helpful, and friendly. Would definitely stay at this hotel when in the area again.

The staff were very helpful, especially at checkin. The pool was a great distraction great for the kids. We did wish it did not show up for Charlottesville under the search, as it was not near the city whatsoever, and required about half an hour's additional time driving out to it, and then the same to get back to the main highway.

We had a reservation well in advance of our check-in. Our room was not available until more than two hours after check-in time. This also was the case for everyone who came in after our family. The clerks were new and didn't know what to do because the cleaning crew would not release the rooms. And then the fire alarm went off. Again, the clerks did not know what to do. They turned the alarm off and after getting a return call from the firehouse and complaints from many irate customers, they tried to call their manager, who was not onsite. They were not able to get in touch with their manager. One of the clerks suggested that we might be able to get a discount on the room because of all the issues. That did not happen. Additionally, ants were on the tables and the air conditioning smelled like gym socks. I completed an online survey spelling out all the issues and giving our stay there a low rating. I received a response stating they were sorry for "not exceeding" our expectations. In my view, they came nowhere close to even meeting my the basics.

My husband and I spent 6 nights at this hotel last week for a genealogy trip and have to say, it was a wonderful week. The staff were wonderful, room and beds were great, breakfast was outstanding, don't have a bad thing to say. Really enjoyed our trip. Will be back next year.

This is a very good hotel in my opinion. The staff is very friendly and the room was clean. I was there for a week and they took care to provide me with anything I needed day by day without hesitation. The pool was clean and the exercise room was always taken care of. The breakfast was good with much to chose from and the coffee was good too. Also my favorite Mrs. Jackie was great about keeping the food coming and having the dining room ready for the crowd. She always smiled and that helped my days start off good. I've been to this hotel on several occasions now and always a good stay.

Stayed here for a night because we wanted to see Montecillo. The lobby was beautifully decorated, very rustic. The people at the desk were very helpful and pleasant. Our room was very clean which is important, top on the list. Nice hot shower after a long day, and comfy beds and pillows. In the morning before going our way we had a very nice breakfast at the hotel, the area was taken care of wonderfully by a young lady named Veronica, she kept up with making sure everything was available and clean. It was a great selection of Scrambled Eggs, toast, muffins, waffles, pastry, fresh fruits, yogurts, hot oatmeal with diffrent toppings to choose from! Bagels and english muffins and of course juice and coffee. We couldn't have been happier. We would definetely stay here again if we were in the area and I highly recommend it.

We were booked at another hotel because of their liberal cancellation policy (unlike Best Western), but when our plans became firm, we switched to Best Western because other family members had booked here. Anyhow, we arrived on April Fool's Day...but all of our surprises were pleasant. The lobby with the many fascinating Native American artifacts is better than any museum I have ever seen. Especially enjoyed the Bev Doolittle prints in the dining room and around the building (Discovered something in one of them that we had NEVER noticed before...and we love Bev Doolittle!!!). Staff was fantastic, parking was easy, and room was very clean and comfortable. Some minor things need attention, before they get out of control. 1) the maid needs to remember to wipe the TOP of the shower enclosure. Spots of mildew were beginning to appear in ours. I scrubbed them off. 2)The backsplash around the sink is beginning to separate from the countertop....needs new caulk, but also looked like some shifting has taken place 3) It was SO VERY windy one night, the breeze was blowing into the room from **under** the air conditioning unit. Based on the way I felt when I woke up, it was blowing in pollen all night. Wonder if some insulation or something around the unit has deteriorated (RM 425). The breakfast is very special and everything was delicious. The eggs were especially enjoyable. Coffee/tea service is available 24/7 in the dining room (as well as in the room). And there are large refrigerators in the room. Wireless service was fast and dependable. The pool area was a little cool (AC), but we had a nice swim and hot tub experience. The fitness room was clean and very functional. Lots of towels available We were on the 4th floor, overlooking IHOP. BUT the view of the mountains was fantastic. (There was a little noise in the parking lot as the IHOP workers were leaving at night..but didn't last too long). Can hardly wait to stay here again.

I have been reviewing this place for two to three years and I continue to say how wonderful the service and the people are there. Jackie, Julie and Bob are three that are very friendly and we love to talk to them.

The room was clean and like new. The over all hotel is very good. The only problem is the walls are thin. On my first night the people in the next room were up until 2am and it was like a party in my room it was not the hotel fault but the wall seem thin. The next morning some on was banging on the door in the next room at 5 am not much sleep that night. The second night was great and no noise.

Beautiful foyer and gift shop. Rooms were clean and cozy. Breakfast was just ok since the eggs were less than edible even with cheese but we got by with French toast, waffles and many other things to choose from. The pool and hot tub were also well maintained.

This hotel was one of the most comfortable places to stay, They have a great pool, hot tub, fitness room and the best continental breakfast I have ever had. The people are friendly and helpful. The location is nice for sightseeing and there are stores close by.

Unlike others' reviews, I have to say I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my room and bathroom. I used a wet wash cloth to wipe bathroom vanity and when I looked at the cloth, I was surprised to find the washcloth was brown and had hair (not head hair) on it. Gross! The luggage rack and base of the furniture were dusty enough to write your name. There dark orange drips on the wall above the bathroom wastebasket. Also the toilet was wobbly due to improper install.The bed was comfortable, but the heater was really loud and sounded like a diesel truck.

The room was grubby. They only bother to dust the tops of the furniture. There were stains on the walls in the bathroom from where the wastebasket sits against the wall. I took a clean wet wash cloth and wiped the top of the vanity and found to my disgust a hair (not head) and brown grime on the cloth. The toilet was wobbly because the base is not set properly. The heating is so noisy you have to have the TV turned up really loud and then the heat cuts off and you have to turn the volume down--ridiculous.

This is my second stay at this hotel, and as before I have nothing but good things to say about it. The location, staff, amenities and the quality of the rooms are excellent. The food was superb. Looking forward to my next visit.

One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in, we normally stay in a resort facility. Could not have asked for a better experience, would highly recommend this hotel. Excellent staff, Stacy at the check in desk was very friendly and extremely helpful. Jackie in the breakfast room was also very friendly, professional and made you feel at home. The food was good with a good selection and well presented.

The lobby was gorgeous and the staff helpful. Breakfast was the usual ho-hum items normally found on a free breakfast buffet. Didn't use the pool and hot tub, but it looked nice. Sort of out of the way, but I was working nearby, so the location was good for me.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus Crossroads Inn & Suites one night with my forensics public speaking team. We booked 9 rooms at this hotel. I had 18 students, 4 young adults, and one mother with me - 24 people total. I asked all the students, "How are the accommodations?" and they all replied positively. They loved the fact that there was a heated indoor pool and hot tub for them to use, as most of the hotels, Best Westerns included, only have outdoor pools that are closed during our season. This was an added bonus for them. My room was a King room, and it had a pull-out sofa, chair, and desk and chair in the room, so when I had my coach's meeting that night, all my assistants (4) had a place to sit and take notes without having to pile up on the bed. Then, there was THE BED!! Kudos to this bed. I have back and hip issues, and after driving a bus of kids to these destinations, I usually have trouble sleeping. The mattress was firm and I didn't wake up aching all over like I usually do on these team trips. The tub was awesome as well - clean, modern, deep enough for me to have a nice soak in the tub. The breakfast was good - there were several hot items on the bar such as scrambled eggs, sausage and oatmeal (not the instant type, but cooked and warm). However, the only thing that my students complained about was no waffle iron to make their own waffles. They seemed to have loved that about our last BW hotel stay in Hopewell; however, Hopewell's BW didn't have an indoor pool, the rooms were smaller and not as nice, and the beds were not as comfortable. But there was plenty of food items for them to choose from so they were fine. The coffee was good as well. I will definitely use this hotel again next year for the same tournament. It was a bit higher than most of the BW we have used in the last year, and most BW do give us a school group discount, but even though it was 15 dollars higher per room making the student price a bit higher, it was well worth it. With the discount, each room was still a little under 100 per night which is nearly impossible to find these days. I highly recommend this hotel. One more thing that made it nice for student groups is the fact that there is an IHOP right behind the hotel - literally the same parking lot so students and guests can walk there for dinner or a snack. Across the street, there are several fast food options, an Italian and Chinese sit down restaurants, a Subway, and a Wal-mart; however, the intersection there is very busy, so I drove the kids to those places as I didn't feel it was safe for them to run across busy lanes of traffic. But it was very convenient, especially the Walmart for anyone who forgot toothpaste or shampoo. Once again, hotel and location are awesome, and the staff was friendly and engaging.

My husband and I have stayed here 3 times. Once 5 years ago and 2x this year. It is convenient to our grandchildren's new home. It is clean, staff is excellent, check-in/out is very good. My husband thinks the breakfast (included in price) could be a little better, I think it is fine. We both eat differently, he is an omelet/ waffle man and I am a cereal woman. We both think the pastries are bad. This needs fixing. Overall, it is a nice, clean hotel and we will be back. We highly recommend it. We usually get the suite with refrigerator; Wal-Mart across the street, so anything you need is right there.

We have been staying here for about 2 years now off an on and they staff is always so wonderful. They are so nice and helpful to any problem we have. The housekeeping staff is so good and make sure that you have what you need for your stay. I can not say enough good about this place.

Even though this is the ONLY hotel in the area, they still make a point of being clean, professional and friendly. Enjoyed the pool and hot-tub as well as the fitness center. On our last night, we were unfortunate enough to have a screaming baby placed in the room next to us. The child cried, loudly, all night. The manager on duty didn't hesitate to adjust our rate for that reason and apologize, as he had also heard the child on his rounds during the night. Even so, over all, we were happy with our stay.

Every time I go to Gordonsville I stay at this hotel. It's close to the plant I am visiting, it is always clean and safe, and the staff are top notch. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. This hotel is an exceptional value for the cost.

I absolutely love your hotel and it was super clean and spacious. It was quite and very private. Not to mention a great location with IHop behind it and walmart across the street, not to mention the gas station right there.

Wonderful hotel, excellent facilities, excellent location, great service. Says they are pet friendly and indeed they are, and outside areas have plenty of break space. But be careful of the $20 PER NIGHT pet fee which is exorbitant. It's hidden in the fine print on the main website, and central reservations will say there is no fee - they just hit you with it at check-in, along with a full page liability release and instructions. Declaring a pet also gets you put in the "dog rooms" which are right next to eachother so you get to enjoy barking dogs next door and have to try to quiet yours. They are also right next to front entrance or rear door - great for access, bad for noise. A friend who also stayed there but did not declare her dog, but openly walked around with her dog, was not charged a fee - and there is lots of back doors. Just sayin....

This was my second time staying in this hotel. The acomadations are excellent. Every person you come in contact with is friendly and helpful. I was able to bring my nephew over to swim in the pool even though he did not stay at the hotel. This was great because I am allergic to cats and was not able to stay at his house.

I love this hotel. It has all the qualities of what PLUS should mean. I recently stayed at another BW Plus and was disappointed as this hotel is what I compare other BW PLUS hotels too. The staff is great, the rooms are nice and roomy, the breakfast is a great value and the fact that the pool/hot tub are open until 11 makes it nice if you are checking in late, as we did. this is our second stay, and has become our preferred hotel when we travel up this way!

Had a very nice stay here. After some billing confusion on my part, the front desk was friendly and helpful, and got things all sorted out for me. They are pet friendly, but the hotel does not smell like a dog hotel, and the grounds are clean and well maintained. Room has obviously been recently updated, and was spacious and comfortable. We couldn't have asked for anything else.

Good location off interstate, quiet, clean and provides a warm inviting welcome! I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Virginia. There is swimming and a spa next to an exercise facility. 0ffers a breakfast menu, but does not have a full time service.

The property was alluring. It was the best Best Western I have ever stayed in. It was close to shopping and restaurants. They had a good fitness room. It has an indoor pool which I did not have a chance to use.

I did not expect to find such a gem in the bowels of Central Virginia. Above all, we did not expect to find a Best Western that we actually liked and we chose this one only because of its proximity to my business. My wife and I had an incredibly bad experience at a Best Western in Istanbul, Turkey, and we swore never to go to a BW hotel again. This BW in Gordonsville changed this. From now on it is Best Western all the way!

I have stayed in this hotel 12 nights out of the past 30 and will be staying here again in the future. The employees at this hotel are top notch. I also had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners during one of my stays here and he was a great guy to talk to. Down to earth, friendly and very caring about his guests as well as the staff.

It was Parents Weekend. Too many folks in the hotel. The breakfast area was overrun. We could not get in and if we could have, there would not have been any place to sit. We ended up at the IHOP. I was not there for parents weekend, I was meeting friends. Too bad.

Our family has stayed at the Best Western Plus Crossroads Inn several times when traveling to visit one of our children attending school away from home. The staff has always been polite and professional. The rooms have been clean. The water pressure in the shower is unbeatable. The beds are comfortable. Overall, this hotel offers a great value for our money.

The motel was very clean.The staff were very courteous,and knowledgable.The breakfast was very well prepared and set up.The only problem I had was some noise in the hall.People woke me up outside my door talking and laughing,then a little later someone slammed a door.

There are not many choices in this area for hotels but this hotel does not hike the rates or slouch on the cleaning because they feel that you "have to stay" with them. In fact, I thought the hotel was new and was informed it was almost ten years old! The staff at the front were very pleasant at check in, and everyone that worked in the hotel would always say hi as you passed in the hall. Clean room with a nice surprise that it had a mini fridge and microwave! The pool was great and the hot tub as well! Lots of well stocked food for the breakfast buffet in the mornings! Overall, I would stay again and recomend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

The staff made this stay a great experience. They were always ready to meet your needs. They had multiple events going on and handled them with ease. You could tell that they wanted you to enjoy your stay/experience with them. We did and I'd like to thank each of them for such a great weekend experience.

AAA rate was $125...newly renovated lobby, friendly staff, room was large and clean, fridge and microwave, comfortable beds. Heated pool and sauna and small gym. Plus a complimentary breakfast! Walmart and other shops in town.

The hotel let a church hold a baptism in the INDOOR pool. They were fully clothed & were even wearing tennis shoes and work boots into the pool. Sorry, but that is disgusting & I don't know who allowed that. I have no problem with a baptism, but make them remove their shoes, for goodness sake!! What if they had stepped in dog doo before coming inside?

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel and friendly attitude of the staff. We highly recommend this Inn and found it to be a comfortable driving distance from Charlottesville, Montecello, and Montpelier, all of which we visited.

Great location, very clean, good service, quiet night. Allowed early check in so we could change clothes for a wedding on time. Breakfast was generic, but good. One weird thing was they asked what kind of car we were driving/would be in their parking lot over night.
