« Will stay here again. »

Best staff I have ever had to deal with at a hotel. Highly recommend to everyone. Rooms were great, bed was very comfortable and restroom was clean and well stocked. Have stayed at Hampton Inn before and had a better experience here.

    « A little strange »

I was a bit surprised when I checked in to be greeted by clerks with pierced noses, lips, ears, etc. For a moment I thought I was on the wrong planet. I am not against this sort of thing (to each his own) but in a four star hotel I thought it was a bit much and totally unprofessional. The amenities were very good but the room, 2 queen beds, was small and the air conditioner very loud, on and off all night and kept me awake. In my opinion not worth the money. I have stayed in better places at half the price.

« Wonderful place to stay »

This was a great place to stay on our way to visit Big Bend National Park. Beats the place we stayed in there by a mile. Very clean, comfortable bed, good spa and pool, great all around. The breakfast buffet was top-notch with a wide variety of choice of food from hot eggs, bacon, potatoes and refried beans to cereal both hot and cold. fruit, yogut, bagels, etc. Had a restful night and everything about it was great,

« Large Clean Room and Great Breakfast Buffet at this relatively new motel »

Spent one night here on the way to Big Bend National Park. It was a decent hotel, neat clean and friendly staff. Our room came a couch and lounge area. All the rooms in this part of seems to have a fridge and microwave. Good beds. Breakfast included choice of many staples, juices, fruit, waffles, eggs, sausage, gravy with plenty of breads and bakery. Cereals and yogurts and oatmeal. The only issue I had was Apple maps directed me in a round about way through town. Better to access from the exit at I-10.

    4
    « Good Hotel »

Good location off I-10 access road. Very good breakfast. Nice fitness room. Hotel is good, but noisy. Insulation is thin because you can hear guests talking in hall and rooms. I was on the second floor.and could hear lots of foot traffic above me. Hotel door to my room let in a lot of light. Solid hotel, but better hotel options on this access road.

    3
    « Horrendous bathroom »

The tile work after a repair was as bad as it gets. Made an old motel 6 look good. Tile uneven and grout everywhere. One towel bar had fallen out and a shelf had fallen off as well. The caulk uneven and white caulk everywhere with grey tile. One whole edge of tile was missing

    « Shockingly good hotel »

Ft. Stockton is a major jumping off point for a lot of popular attractions to the south and north of I-10. As such there are quite a few hotels and motels in town, including brands perhaps better known than a BW Plus. In that class of hotel this is one of the best locations I've ever stayed in. It was immaculately clean, the bed was comfortable, the room spacious (with thick walls and windows), and the bathroom modern. This is our first choice in Ft. Stockton.

« Best place to stay »

My husband has been working in the area and has been staying here. Myself and our son came down to join him and this place has been wonderful. The staff and management are so amazing. Everyone us so friendly and helpful. This place is so clean and nice. The breakfast and bar area is very nice. Great food. This has a family vibe.

« Quick stop on the way home »

This was a late night last minute stop before getting home the next day. The staff was great. I called from the road and he held the very last room for us. Very nice BW. I always try and stay at BW, especially on motorcycle trips. I like the chain a lot!

    « Need a better breakfast »

This was a very nice hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The prices are a little high, but I think the hotel makes up for it. My only complaint was that the breakfast was not good at all. The eggs and sausage tasted very bad. My girlfriend described it as dog mush.

    « Very nice! »

This was a pleasant surprise! Lobby was clean and inviting. The children appreciated the cookies. Elevator was a nice size, no squeezing the cart in. The room was large and clean, well supplied. Needed more towels and they were at door in ten minutes. Beds were comfortable. Good pillows. Pool was clean and large. Pool was advertised as heated and really was. Pool area had a restroom and shower which is nice to rinse off. The breakfast was excellent. The eggs were real eggs and children enjoyed fresh pancakes. The food and selections were good. But the little touches are what make it. Mini marshmallows for cocoa, assorted syrups for pancakes and waffles. In evenings there were cookies, yogurt, granola bars, fruits, nuts, pretzels and assorted drinks available. Staff was pleasant. Will stay again.

    « Dog Friendly »

We stayed in this hotel as a stop over on our way out to Big Bend. The hotel was pricey, but this was spring break. The room was clean, well decorated. The hotel had a wonderful dog park that was clean, astro turf, and long enough for our dog to run. The hotel provides breakfast.

    5
« Excellent Place to Stay »

If you want a super clean, super quiet, comfortable place to stay, this is it! Awesome HOT breakfast with fresh fruit (apples, tangerines, kiwi, and bananas), pancakes and waffles, plus eggs and sausage with all the fixings to make burritos for breakfast! The only negative I can find is that when we checked in we were told the bar would be open for 30 more minutes, and we had just driven 1000 miles and a drink sounded nice. We took our bags to the room and immediately returned to the bar to hear the girl tell us she just shut the bar down. The posted hours still had 30 more mins before closing, which was disappointing, and rather frustrating but the AM breakfast and good nights sleep left us ready for another day on the road.

    5
« Very Good Quality Accommodation »

The excellent reception set the tone for a very good experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel was completely booked, yet it was quiet. Check in and out processing was seamless. All hotels are pricey in this town (for some reason), but this hotel delivers value.

    4
« Clean and Dog Friendly »

Fairly new hotel (1-2 years old) and is clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Free breakfast with may items to choose. Coffee bar and bar for drinks in the evening. It has separate area for dog walk, exercise room and indoor pool/ spa.

« What I expect in this price range. »

Hotels in this area aren't cheap, for a little more than the budget places in Fort Stocken you get a lot more. Nice room (place seems brand new). There is a lounge that was in full swing when we checked in on a Saturday night but you couldn't hear in the room. The hot breakfast decent and much better than the standard waffles and muffins.

« MANAGER WITH NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER! »

SANTOSH VARGHESE (General Manager) has no customer service whatsoever. He has no idea how to manage a hotel. His staff isn't trained to know what services they provide. The lady at the front desk was shocked to know that after 3 yrs of working at this Best Western that the hotel offered dry cleaning to their guests. We dropped off our laundry to get dry cleaned at the front desk the day before. Today we find out that we would not get it back till tomorrow because we didn't stay at our hotel room all day waiting to pay the bill AND it is our fault for having an American Express card on file. The dry cleaning business refused to drop off our clothes until they got paid by the hotel. SANTOSH VARGHESE could care less that we were leaving the next morning and still didn't have our clothes. His solution was: ?We will mail your clothes to you?! This man was so unprofessional to talk to. He constantly contradicted what he was saying. His staff is not trained to do their job right. Not to mention, not being aware of how to even do their job. I would never stay in a Best Western or Best Western Plus again after this ordeal with SANTOSH VARGHESE and his customer service and untrained staff.

    « A Surprising Oasis »

The desk staff were lovely, friendly and interested. Our room was comfortable and we slept well. There was no restaurant but we were happy to skip dinner. Fresh fruit and snacks were available in the dining room at all times and freshly-baked cookies appeared at about 4 pm, a really nice gesture. Breakfast was more than adequate.

« Best Western Fort Stockton »

This is the best hotel of the best westerns I've ever stayed in the room was absolutely spotless we were treated like a king and a queen we brought her little dog there are excellent as far as little dogs even have a doggy Robin arm for the breakfast was beyond good and we saw nothing but smile in the face so I can't say good enough about that there is an anything I could possibly complain about to sit down

    5
    « Great hotel! »

The hotel staff was Amazing! Breakfast was great and had a bigger selection than expected. Debbie who checked us in and took our reservation by phone was amazing and we will be back at this hotel when passing through because of how clean it was and the amazing customer service.

« Outstanding value and New »

Safe and accessible location. Facilities relatively new and well taken care of. Room was excellent and bed comfortable. Exceeded our expectations. Pool and fitness area nice. Fenced in lighted dog walk. Enjoyed and highly recommend!

    5
    « Great Stay! »

We spent the night at the Best Western Plus...it was a great stay, one of the nicest Best Western's we've stayed at....clean, new, well maintained...friendly, efficient staff...great breakfast with a lot of variety...and clean tables in the dinning room. We couldn't find anything that was wrong with this facility. Thanks to everyone who works there for making our stay so positive! This should be the model for all other Best Westerns to judge their service and presentation to.

    4
    « With kitchenette! »

149 for a king with micro, cooktop, plates, etc and even a dishwasher. Convenient right off I10, good parking, cookies, breakfast, and only a couple of miles from town and local restaurants. Lots of room, very comfy bed, 42 inch flat screen hanging on wall.

    5
« Best Hotel Value in West Texas »

Quiet!; Pet Friendly - They have a Puppy Park on Site ($20 for two poodles); Clean; Easy on/off from I-10; Real Meat Breakfast (included) and a Great Assortment of waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, et al. Coffee - very good - needed for that early start. NFC keys for ease of use I would go out of my way to stay here again. We have stayed in Van Horn, Odessa, Midland and this is hands day two cuts above - pardon the cattle reference. And, best of all - no sulfur ./ petroleum smell

    4
« Great place to stay with dogs and kids »

Clean, comfortable, with great facilities for pets. No carpets in pet rooms! Fenced dog walking area. Excellent breakfast included. If you have to stay in Ft. Stockton with your dog, this is the place.

    4
« BW in Ft Stockton »

The Best Western was nice. The staff was very pleasant and the hotel is conveniently located. The parking lot was well lit and appeared very safe. The pricing was high but in line with the very busy West Texas area due to oil and gas exploration being extremely active in the area.

    5
« Very nice and newer hotel »

This is a very nice and newer hotel that is great if you have pets traveling with you. It is easy on easy off the interstate and close to whatever you might need traveling. There is plenty of parking. They provide a nice complimentary breakfast. All in all a very nice stopping place when traveling cross country.

    4
    « Modern, comfortable hotel »

First time staying here and very pleasantly surprised by it. Hotel staff greeted me warmly, encouraged me to help myself to cookies, coffee, detox water, yogurt, juice, fruit and other amenities available all the time. They even bring in a bartender to serve drinks in the evening. Lovely touch after a 9 hour drive with kids.

    5
« THE place to stay in Fort Stockton »

Very clean. There is a HUGE variety at breakfast with lots of protein options, waffle and pancake makers, and hot food. Coffee, fruit, yogurt, granola bars and snacks are available all day. It has a large, well lit parking lot. The service is outstanding.

    5
    « Best Experience »

This hotel was worth the stop. I can't say enough about all the staff and how helpful they were in all areas. Fitness room, Breakfast and dogs loved the run area. Rooms were spacious and met my families needs.

    « great dog-friendly place to stop »

Ft. Stockton now has a quality dog-friendly hotel for us as we travel from AZ to San Antonio several times a year. The ADA room had excellent accommodations that we needed, as well. The breakfast was also excellent with a variety of good and nutritious items for all appetites.

    4
« good hotel after long day on road »

The staff were very busy, but friendly. The room was clean , and the AC was cold. The bed was clean and comfortable. This place was crazy busy with all the workers from the petro industry, but everybody was friendly and helpful.

    4
« Good Place to stay in West Tx »

On my way through Texas and needed a good place to stay before getting to El Paso this was a Jewel in a very isolated and long stretch. Room was clean, people friendly, Hot shower, great breakfast. Pets are also welcome as there were many well behaved dogs visiting. Parking was good and it had a lot of things close like gas, restaurants, and such.

    5
    « Amazing Place »

I Absolutely recommend this place to Everyone. The staff was professional. Breakfast was Delicious. The beds were Extremely comfortable. My family and I will definitely be back. It's worth the Money for sure!!

    3
« Good Hotel for Ft Stockton »

We have stayed at a number of hotels in Ft Stockton and this BW was average for the area. Everything was clean and neat and the price was very reasonable (especially since they are pet friendly with no extra charge for our dog). The service was very good. The breakfast was standard fare for a self service breakfast.

« Large-Dog friendly hotel in Fort Stockton, TX »

My family travels from CA to Texas, where we have other family, a couple times a year. Coming from the Bay area fort Stockton is our day two stop. We travel with two dogs, a large German Shepherd and a smaller (45 pounds) mixed breed one. It is so difficult to find hotels that will accept large dogs. This best Western was such a welcome respite after an 11 hour day in the car. The fully fenced-in dog run was a gift to our furry friends who really needed to run and play off leash. They had such a great play sessionand I didn't have to stress about one of my fur babies getting away from me. The room was small for 3 people and 2 dogs, but very manageable. And the best surprise... coffee, really good coffee, at 4am when we checked out. Yes! Really!!! Fresh, hot coffee at 4 am in the area where they have complimentary hot breakfast for all guests. The management of this hotel has it down! So well run and large dog friendly, we will 100% be back!

    5
« Very happy with our stay »

This Best Western is located in a strip of chain hotels on the outskirts of Ft. Stockton; we stayed there en route to Big Bend National Park from Austin. Our room, in the back on the second floor, was clean, comfortable, and quiet. There's a generously-sized pool and spa area. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of variety and an attentive server. We can recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

« Welcome Place During a Snow Storm. »

I had booked this Hotel in advance as an overnight stop for my 15 year old Labrador Retriever and myself, during our permanent move to Tucson, Az. It had rained all day, but about 75 miles East of Fort Stockton, the rain turned to sleet and light snow. I was happy to reach the Hotel as I was told at my last gas stop, the weather was supposed to worsen overnight. We were given a comfortable room on the ground floor and one of the girls at the desk helped me to get my dog out of the car and walk to the pet area. Due to her size and age, my Lab has hip dysplasia and moves slowly. During the night, my Lab became wedged under the night table next to the bed and I requested assistance from the front desk to get her up on her feet. Each time I requested assistance for her, one of the staff always helped and were happy to do so. After our first night, due to the amount of snow still on the ground and my car, for our own safety we decided to stay another night. We were graciously extended an extra night and were able to leave the following morning. The helpful assistance from the office/desk staff, along with the extra linens provided by housekeeping, in addition to the warm breakfast each morning, I can't say enough good things about the Best Western Plus in Fort Stockton. The rooms were clean, neat and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to other travelers. It was truly a welcome respite from the grueling day of travel we had experienced on the highway.

    « Nice pit stop »

Spent last night here. Hotel is recently updated, which was nice. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety. Just a little hard to find after dark. We would definitely stay here again.

    « Great Hotel »

More than I expected for a hotel in this area. They have pet friendly rooms that were spotless and on the main floor. Wonderful place to stay. Everything about the hotel was top line. Plenty of fresh fruit on hand along with other snacks.

« Wonderful staff and amenities »

Everyone we met there were excellent with friendliness, knowledge and services. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Indoor spa was a real plus after long day on the road. We felt very confident about vehicle security too.

« Great Service, nice hotel »

great experience at Fort Stockton, TX Best Western. Helpful and courteous staff, clean room. They accommodated my reservation request perfectly - great experience. When passing through on I-10, I'd absolutely stay here again!!! Thanks for the nice hotel, great service, and friendly staff.

    « Nice Best Western »

Enjoyed this hotel a lot, but could use some restaurants closer by. After driving all day, you really don't want to get back in the car to try and find a restaurant in the dark. I did enjoy working out in the exercise facility.

this Hotel will always introduce them selves with pride, smiles and ensure your are satisfied at check in & check out. they explain inform you of all the facilities the have as swimming pool, exercises room which has enough to do any exercise your want to do. « Nice place to rest »

Nice place to rest closer to the interstate. Good breakfast, comfortable and clean beds and rooms. Pet friendly with enclosed area to walk/potty the dog. Stopped there twice on way to and from visiting family. Would definitely stay there again.

    5
« Clean, quiet and very comfortable. »

If your you've been driving for many hours and your suffering from ?road weary?, then I suggest you stop at this hotel for a night of good rest. They have room that are pet friendly and many snacks to choose from when you first enter the hotel's lobby.

    4
    « Wonderful pet-friendly hotel »

Staff were all polite and friendly at check in and check out. Breakfast buffet was fresh, hot and plentiful. Room was clean and comfortable. Also perfect for guests traveling with a dog, because the floor in my dog-friendly room was not carpeted. Love the pet-friendly atmosphere, especially the large, well-lighted, clean, fenced area, where it's possible to allow your dog to explore off-leash. I would definitely stay at Best Western Plus Fort Stockton again.

    5
« Beautiful pet friendly property »

Driving from Tucson to Austin we stopped for the night at the BW Plus. A quite new hotel that is immaculately clean with very kind and helpful staff. If you are traveling with your dog they have a great dog run conveniently located to the side of the hotel. They also have a small bar and a lovely free breakfast in the morning! We would be delighted to stay here again if we were in the area.

    5
« Great dog friendly hotel »

It was a great breakfast. The dog run was also great with artificial turf, chain link fence and a gate. After traveling for 6 days it was a nice surprise to have this. I We did find the rate high as the day we checked out it was $60 cheaper. And in the middle of the week

    4
    « Great Place »

This place is a great place to stay. Good breakfast, the beds were comfortable. The dogs enjoyed it and the family did to.I would recommend it to anyone cruising through Ft. Stockton. Customer Service was excellent as well.

    « With not a lot of choices...this is a good one »

Pretty average hotel but a pleasant oasis in a kinda bleak environment. Nice they accommodate pets with a decent dog run. Room was clean if a bit small. There is some decent food available. Staff is nice and public spaces are attractive and clean. Glad they were there after a LONG drive across Arizona and New Mexico.

    4
« Exceptionally clean and comfortable »

The manager was mopping the floor as we pulled up to check in. We were welcomed with a smile and the offer of refreshments. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were the perfect balm after a long day of driving. The rooms are a decent size and beds are comfy. Tissue and toilet paper are a bit harsh so travel with your own if that's important to you! The breakfast is very good from omelets to waffles.

    5
    « Highly recommend »

Very nice hotel, clean, friendly staff, great breakfast with staff attendant available and offering assistance. Great front desk clerks. Reasonably priced. Free cookies was a nice added extra. Only our second stay at a Best Western. This hotel caused us to sign up for the rewards program and seek out other Best Westerns on our travels.

    5
    « Satisfied »

Was a great experience which was a surprise being we went online and took what was available at a late date. Will definitely use this one again, thanks to all involved. Out of things to say and so I'll just repeat, Outstanding.

    « Best Western Plus- Fort Stockton,Tx »

Very new, super clean hotel. Rooms were larger than average hotel sizes. Hotel was quiet, even though pretty full with guests. Beds comfortable. Very pet friendly hotel from front desk personnel to the treats provided. Also has a fenced in dog run with grass turf, which we rated highly since our pets travel long distances with us. Our pets enjoyed running and playing outdoors,as we sat with them eating the coffee and cookies hotel provides. Breakfasts are great, even the pancake maker.

    5
« one of the best bw plus »

it s readily apparent that when this motel was built a couple years ago they made some good choices. In particular, the room seemed more spacious than most, including bathroom. the motel includes a bar open in evenings, and cookies, coffee, and more available 24 hours. clean, good bed, TV on wall so as to free up cabinet top space, and adequate well-lighted parking. well above average BW+ at the same price point. will return when on same path.

    5
    « Surprisingly great! »

My husband and I stayed here for one night, and I must say we were totally impressed. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was quiet and spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy, the towels were fluffy, and the breakfast was delicious. I would gladly stay here again!

    « Long Trip »

We were on our way to Belton Texas to deliver daughters things as she just relocated from Phoenix. We arrived 1 hour past midnight and we thought there would be problem with reservation cause we were late and the gentleman at counter stated that everything was fine, checked us right in. The breakfast was good, room very clean, bed comfortable. We will surely stay again.

« Recently remodeled, a perfect place to stay. »

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Clean and comfortable room. This hotel was unique because it included a bar adjacent to the lobby where my wife and I enjoyed the company of the bartender and a good stiff drink before retiring!

« Friendly Staff and great for pets »

This was an overnight stay on our way through the area. We booked last-minute and there happened to be a pet-friendly room which was handicap accessible (we did not need this feature but it was helpful). The room was clean and we loved the tile floor for the dogs. It was quiet and right by a side exit for the dogs. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made some good suggestions. Breakfast was good although the yoghurts were frozen so I mentioned this to the lady who worked there and she gave me two new ones. Our dogs loved the dog run and were pleased to have the AstroTurf so no sand spurs (be careful of these if you take your pets on the regular grass!). The only downside was that the dog run was at the opposite end of the hotel to the pet friendly rooms. My dogs have to go out during the night so we had to make do with the grassy (and sand spur area). As far as the handicap accessible room is concerned, I would like to make a suggestion that there be a bigger shelf in the shower as our toiletries kept falling off the soap dish. That is no good for a disabled person. Also a seat for them to sit on would be good. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you very much!

    « Family Trip »

Overall great service from the check in process to the check out process. Very helpful staff and were very knowledgeable of the area in Ft Stockton. The only issue was the breakfast sitting area was small had to wait to sit since seemed that it was quite busy towards the end of breakfast.

    « Good value »

Conveniently located just off the Interstate with fuel stops, restaurants and a Walmart close by, this property offers a pleasant opportunity to rest from travels. The clean room benefits, in my opinion, from having a tile floor. Having all the drains work as designed eliminates the annoyance present when they don't. The hot-and-cold breakfast offers a variety of options and the ample seating area adds to the pleasure of enjoying that meal. The staff is helpful and efficient. The only drawback I experienced was slow internet. Overall, the value is good for your leisure travel dollars.

    5
« Great breakfast and super clean rooms »

This location has a great breakfast. I wasn't expecting everything they had there to be free. This location is amazing how clean it is. The staff is very professional and so friendly. If you're in Fort Stockton this is your best place to stay.

« Stay here if ever in Ft. Stockton! »

Going above and beyond...that is this hotel! WOW, just WOW! We have stayed in many, many hotels, including Best Westerns, and this one is so, so accommodating. We had to evacuate from Corpus Christi when Hurricane Harvey was approaching, so we decided to get out of all of the bad weather (which reached FAR inland) and went out to West Texas, Ft. Stockton to be exact. We reserved a pet-friendly room at this hotel. It was very pet-friendly with its hard floors (they had a wood look to them) and not carpeting. All of the pet-friendly rooms were grouped together on the first floor, conveniently located near an exit door. The room itself was very clean and all of the amenities you could want or need. Outside of the hotel, they had a dog run for the dogs complete with little baggies for scooping up their poop! Breakfast was also included with the room, as it always is at Best Western Plus hotels. But, this breakfast was a FULL, multi-choice breakfast and it was very tasty (not just "OK" like more breakfasts are at hotels). It was the best serve-yourself breakfast we have ever had at a hotel. The management and the people at the front desk & in the dining room were nothing short of very friendly and helpful. I cannot think of one thing to complain about at this hotel. I give this one my highest marks!

« Our stay in Fort Stockton »

One of the best BW we have ever stayed at. Clean, pretty, very nice staff and great dining/bar area. Rooms are spacious and clean and they have great showers. My only complaint is the hot food was NOT hot.

Excellent place to stay if traveling through West TX. The lobby and restaurant were very clean and everyone I encountered on the staff was friendly & helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent - everything you could want and more!!!

    « Best stay I've ... »

... ever had in Ft Stockton. The room was spacious and well-maintained, and the check-in was trouble-free. These are NOT things one should take for granted in Ft Stockton, even at other fairly new properties.

    « Great place! »

My husband and I stayed there for one night on our way to Big Bend National Park. It was very clean and employees were very friendly. The free breakfast was great! We will definitely stay there again. It was very comfortable.

    « Nice Surprise »

We normally stay at another property when traveling through but it was full on this date so we stayed at BWPlus. It was a very nice surprise when we arrived and checked in and we will stay here on future trips when possible. They are pet friendly and 60% less expensive for pets than the competitor we had stayed at.

    5
    « Brilliant »

Great hotel. Oh if only all hotels could be line this one. Everything was perfect to make one have a lovely stay. Beds were comfortable in spotless clean rooms. A nice bar to relax in the evening and one of the best breakfasts around. Well done! Best Western Plus will be one of our go to hotels in future if they are all like this one.

    5
    « Exceptional »

Best BW I have ever stayed at. The room was perfect and the pool and spa was a welcome sight. More breakfast items than I've ever seen at a BW. And the staff was great. Very friendly and helpful with everything and anything.

« If This Is The Best »

If this is the best hotel in Fort Stockton consider another town. Nothing really wrong; just $100 plus for the equivalent of an old Hampton Inn. Had a suite (ha) and two people still could not watch tv except lying in bed. Breakfast was fair; only meat was a little sausage in gravy for biscuits. Scrambled eggs and fried potatoes were luke warm and tired at 7:00am. King bed was very good.

« Great Hotel in Fort Stockton »

The best place to stay after a long day on the road. The staff was friendly and made our stay enjoyable. Very clean and modern hotel. We have stayed here twice and plan on staying again when we pass through the area.

« Best Dog Run in Texas! »

The room was very comfortable really liked the tv and all the channels made it easy to veg out after our long drive. The best thing was the astro turf dog run where my dog could actually run and have some fun after being in the car for so long.

    « Enjoyed the stay »

Hard to find a hotel with a really handicap accessible room. This hotel was great. No carpeting on floor helped with moving the wheelchair. Beds were low enough to access. Roll in shower greatly appreciated. Will definitely book here for all future visits

    « Staff were brilliant »

My husband and I had a wonderful three days here, the hotel is very clean ,the pecos roadhouse next door is very handy for food ,Debbie on the front desk is a delight and very helpful .monica on the bar is great company as was the first barmaid though we never got her name .watch out for the snakes girls Jan and bob (Scotland)

    « Great Customer Service »

Everyone was very helpful and kind. The room was nice. The included breakfast was better than the norm. When we asked for directions, they immediately were able to send us the right way. Customer service is obviously important to the staff.

    4
    « Great Breakfast »

This hotel had the best breakfast buffet of any Hotel chain we've ever stayed at. Best Belgian-type waffles, pancakes, sausages, fruits, cereals & almost everything you could think of. We'd come back again just for that!

    5
« Our stopover place for road trips »

We stop here at least once a month on our business trips to our selenite quarry in New Mexico or our stone mill in Belen, NM. The rooms are really nice, especially with an upgrade to a suite with a full kitchen and fridge. Always ask for the quite side as the noise from IH-10 can be bad at times.

    4
    « Heading home »

Nice hotel. A little difficult to get to late at night when no knowing where you are. Even my GPS was confused. Room was nice and clean, although towels looked thrown together instead of neatly folded. Breakfast was good and a variety offered.

    4
« Great stopover for the travel night »

This note was close to the highway and a great place to layover for our cross country drive. Clean and well maintained. Small problem with the internet but otherwise a great stay. Customer service was excellent.

    « Evelyn Johnson »

Rude, combative manager who told me he did not believe my dog was a service dog. The fruit in basket for arriving guests looked old. Room not clean, walls thin allowing noise to penetrate. Breakfast looked unappetizing so did not eat.

    1
    « Disappointed »

Door lock was broken, the pancake maker was broken, the bacon was microwaved, the downstairs men's bathroom had no paper towels, upon departure at 8am there was no one consistently manning the front dest, the Manager's apology came across as mechanical when discussing the critical issue of door not locking properly and offered no assistance when I let him know I now have an issue of securing my luggage during breakfast. Won't be back.

« Home away from home »

The staff are above excellent! The facility is great, Fenced dog run for you pets to do their business and stretch. The heated pool and spa, great gym to work out.. you could take a vacation right there.... wonderful.....I fled the Hurricane and these people went beyond and above to make the stay excellent......

    « Great »

I have stayed at more than 50 hotels is the past few months and the staff at this one was by far the best. They were the most friendly and helpful. I was upgraded a room, and that room was perfect. If you stay in Fort Stockton this should be the place.

« Good quality hotel on the interstate »

We had a pleasant overnight stay in this hotel where everthing worked well and service was very friendly. Complimentary breakfast was very good, and far better than what is common for this price and type of hotel.

  • 5
    « Very pet-friendly »

Clean, newer Best Western along I-10. Comfortable bed, good shower, huge breakfast. Our dog got a bag of bacon treats when we checked in. We will be driving this stretch of I-10 often in the next few years and will definitely stay here again.

    5
« Great Hotel in Ft Stockton »

Outstanding for the value, this hotel is about 2 years old. The complimentary breakfast, including many hot items, is second to none-no joke. There are also freshly baked complimentary cookies (at least four varieties) in the lobby as well as chilled lemon water. The Pecos Roadhouse next door has awesome chicken fried steak, and they deliver to your hotel room! If you dine-in there and show your BW key, they give you 15% off. Really nice and clean place. Great staff, clean room, good shower, all really great.

    5
    « A gem »

We enjoyed our overnight here. The indoor pool was lovely and warm. The breakfast ladies were helpful and so good-natured. This has nothing to do with the hotel--but don't eat at the restaurant next door. Seriously.

« Glad we chose BW Plus! »

Driving around the area as we left, I'm glad we went off of the Trip Advisor recommendation (some of the area is kinda sketchy). The employee at check in was nice enough to let me know I was booked in a pet friendly room (didn't want one). They were able to move me and the room was pleasant enough (blankets are scratchy). The crew in the AM at the free breakfast was especially pleasant. Kept everything fresh and was very kind and friendly. A pretty good free breakfast as far as they go with eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, waffles, pastries, cereal, cooked oats and actual cut up fresh fruit. They even had granola bars for a quick grab and go. My only complaint is I could hear the freeway noise pretty badly from my room, it's rather consistent all night too. We could also hear others slamming doors throughout the evening (earplugs helped). The workout room was decent, we didn't use the pool but it was indoors and empty each time we looked. All in all a good stay!

« Fort Stockton Best WEstern »

We stayed at several best westerns on our road trip with our Grandson... This motel was pretty good... There wasn't enough hot water in the motel. The breakfast was about the same as all the best westerns... sometimes seems a little cold but was ok.. our grandson loved the "free" pens in the rooms.

« Please, No Mold in Bathrooms »

Went to this hotel because it was relatively new (2 years old) and was pet friendly with a dog area displayed. Bathroom tub was full of mold! Really? Can hotels not understand that is a yuck factor...something so obvious...unbelievable. The dog run is really a strip of fake grass. Try putting a pup on that when temps are around 100...no way. I have been to tother hotels in the desert that had real, watered grass or mulch.

« great place reasonable price »

Traveling with 2 dogs and my husband and I. They were all very nice and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. They didn't make you feel unwanted because you had dogs. The breakfast was very good and a lot of it.

    5
    « Great friendly staff »

The staff were friendly and efficient, rooms were clean and quiet, breakfast was good. What else can you ask for in a hotel? OK, there were 2 comfortable chairs to watch TV, bed was comfy and clean. And the price was a value.

    5
    « Best Doggie Vacation »

BW was first rate welcoming my husband, our doggie and me. They had a yummy dog treat, wrapped, upon arrival. The location of the pet area was convenient to enter & exit and close proximity to the dog run which was nicely done. We hadn't traveled with the 14 year old dog for a very long time, but it was very pleasant.

Great customer service, thank you!!! Extremely clean and updated rooms. Beds are comfortable and cookies during happy hour are the best. Not to mention the breakfast. I will definitely stay here again.

« Such nice staff and clean hotel, good for families. »

Very friendly staff made check in and check out easy. The breakfast is a little better than I expected with tortillas and salsa (no one in my family eats plain scrambled eggs) and with a nice indoor pool this is a nice place to stay with a family. We were passing through on a week long family roadtrip and this was our last night from home and we had a restful stay. The ice machine was broken and the tub drain stopper didn't work, but we take showers anyway so it wasn't a big deal and everything else was clean and in working order.

    5
« Food found in refrigerator »

The only downside to our room was left over food from a past guest left in the refrigerator. If you have pets the accommodation for them is great. The have a dog run which is fenced with AstroTurf. Indoor pool is nice

« Wish we could have stayed longer! »

My family and I loved everything about this hotel! We are heading back to AZ at the end of our family vacation, and this was the third Best Western we've started in on our week long trip. This was the BEST location out of the 3. Spacious, CLEAN rooms with very friendly staff and great amenities! We found ourselves wishing we could have stayed longer just for the heck of it, because the hotel was so nice! Lol. We will definitely be returning next year!

« Excellent stop in Texas »

We stayed here overnight on our way across Texas. We were traveling with our dog and were happy to be greeted with dog treats for him and a nice dog park/run area with fake grass. He was happy after traveling in the car, to have a place to run. The room was very nice with plenty of space. The pool and hot tub were very nice as well and breakfast was great with many options for coffee to include latte creamers and numerous waffle toppings. We would definitely stay here again!

    5
    « Excellent value »

Stayed twice in a week. Staff was great. Amenities were great. Breakfast was decent. The manager(Santosh Varghese) went above and beyond with regard to his approach to customer service during my stay. I would highly recommend this place.

« Best Western is Great »

According to trip advisor reviews the best hotel in Fort Stockton, Tx is the Best Western Plus. This was my first time to stay in Fort Stockton so I cant compare other hotels there but my wife and I were very pleased with so many features of this hotel. Unfortuantely we could only stay one night. The bed was awesome, the room size was spacious. The price was very reasonable Wifi was strong and there was a good selection of TV channels on a very nice sized tv which was actually mounted on the wall making it much more comfortable to watch tv from the bed. The free breakfast was one of the better selections I experienced on the whole 21 day trip. We stayed here to drive to Big Bend the next day(didn't realize how far Big Bend was from Fort Stockton) If we ever go back to Big Bend we will plan on staying at this hotel.

    2
« Too pricy to what you get »

Noisy and old, don't believe in the website pictures as they show a really nice hotel. Rooms are also old and need refurbish. It would be ok if they charged $60 night. Breakfast is ok. The value you get is really poor...

  • 5
    « Quick overnight stay »

The hotel is easy to navigate. Check in was a breeze. It was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpul. They also have a nice little convenient store type area with some meds and good snacks if you arrive late, or hungry. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Good breakfast too. We will be staying here again.

    5
« Great Hotel and Small Town Feeling »

Fairly new hotel in a small town with friendly and courteous staff who offered suggestions on shopping, dining and site seeing. Employee Noemi, at the front desk, was able to help us with a technical problem which made our entire trip much more pleasant. She is an asset to Best Western.

    5
« Excellent Travel Hotel (in the middle of nowhere) »

Any drive through Texas is a days long affair, necessitating a stop, sometimes with only a few choices. This BW hotel is the best in Ft. Stockton or Van Horn. Staff is excellent and always helpful. Rooms are comfortable - everything works. Larger wheeled carts available and easy to use.

    « Bonnie »

We had a great time. Clean rooms, friendly employees, & great breakfast. We will definitely use your services again while on vacation or business trips. I was impressed with the location, the appearance of the hotel and the easy check in process.

    « Passing through Texas »

Our room was very clean and they had a separate wing for those traveling with pets. The staff was so friendly and the breakfast buffet (included) was very tasty. The hotel parking lot was well-lit and plentiful. The hotel was full the night we were there yet it was quiet. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

    4
    « Stayed Twice... »

Selected this hotel due to convenient location right off of the freeway and that there was a restaurant next door. The hotel is well decorated and inviting. The Guest Service Representatives who checked us in on both stays were great and friendly. The free breakfast was great and they also have a lounge. If I am ever back in this area I will definitely stay at this location again.

    « Great »

We made our reservations by cell phone the receptionist was very helpful gave us a room very quick with no delays on helping us out seeing we had been on the road for many hours she explained all the services they have at BW it is very helpful when they take time out and explain all the animities they have for not all hotels have what Best Western has to offer not only did they provide us with more information regarding the restaurant with the 10 per cent that we got for staying at Best Western We highly recommend Best Western

    « Fort Stockton »

Okay place overall although having a room facing Interstate 10 leaves much desired because of the traffic noise. Breakfast full of goodies including hot and cold items, juices, coffee and tea, yogurt, pancakes, waffles, bagels, fresh fruit, oatmeal, etc.

    4
« Good stop on the way to West Texas »

My pups and I spent one night here on the way to Marfa. The hotel was clean and easy to find on the highway. The breakfast was good - especially the Texas shaped waffle! The dog run was to the side of the hotel and a nice little space for the dogs to play before hitting the road again. I would recommend this hotel for people needing a nice stay on a long trip.

    5
    « Awesome Getaway »

We absolutely absolutely positively loved staying here as a family. We reserved a king size bed with a pull out sofa. The breakfast in and of itself made the little bit higher price point WORTHWHILE! They were able to recommend the Pecos Roadhouse next door and that was amazing as well (burger&achuchen fried steak). Come visit and stay at this BW+ we've told all our friends "You'll LOVE it!"

    5
    « Just passing through »

Excellant hotel at an excellent price. We were exhausted having gotten off a cruise ship 550 miles and 8 hours before in Galveston. The website said the hotel was booked but when I called Misty at the desk found us a room, registered us for a promotion with the rewards program and upgraded our room. If we go back to Ft. Stockton we will stay with Best Western

    « It worked out »

We made a reservation to stay at this hotel the end of February 2017 for our end of May 2017 stay. Upon arrival, we were told that they were full but had a 'pet room' available. Even though we own a cat (who wasn't with us), we were a little concerned about staying in a room where someone's dog may have been sleeping on the bed. I am very allergic to dogs. The front desk clerk offered us the chance to see the room before we made a decision, so we did. The best thing about the room is there is NO carpeting! The room was clean and didn't smell of animals, so we took it. I asked what the point of our making a reservation on Best Western's website was if we couldn't be guaranteed the room that we booked. I was told that they'll always hold a room for a reservation, but that they don't get those reservations from the website until the 'day of'. That doesn't make much sense to me and I don't understand why a reservation hold wouldn't be put on the requested room, offering the 'pet room' to a walk-in guest. At any rate, it worked out and we had a good stay. Breakfast was the standard fare so we had no problems finding something to fill the void.

    5
« A great stop in the middle of Texas »

A great place to stay if on the road thru Texas. Staff are helpful, professional and very courteous. Room was very comfortable and had all the amenities you could need. The breakfast room had everything you could ask for and was well prepared. They served it early so you could get back on the road to your next destination.

« Excellent! Changed my Mind about Best Western. »

Never thought we'd stay in a Best Western, let alone enjoy one. This one changed my mindt Western. It had laminate floor, was aesthetic, and clean. Staff very attentive and breakfast was fresh with a fair number of choices.

    « Clean and comfortable »

Our stay at the Best Western in Fort Stockton was very comfortable. The rooms were well appointed, clean, quiet and very comfy. The staff were very friendly with smooth check-in and check-out. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of food and good coffee! Nice to have a decent restaurant right next door - we were tired from our travels and it was great to walk to dinner and back. Would definitely stay here again!

    « Very Dog friendly »

This is the Best of this chain of Hotels. I always stay at Best western but this one is my favorite because they love my dogs and give them dog treats. They have a nice dog run which is always kept clean and well stocked with bags.

    « Pretty Impressed! »

We were just passing through town and stayed for just one night; however, it was quite the gem! Very nice property. My only "complaint" is that we were on the second floor and you could hear the visitor above walking all over the place early in the am. Definitely request a top floor if that's bothersome. The breakfast area & spread was really nice too... their waffles were in the shape of TX. Adorable. LOL. Very pleased with out decision to book this property for the night!

    « The best »

This is the best Best Western Hotel we have ever enjoyed. Building inside and out is perfect. Wifi worked great. The breakfast room is large making easy to get around, food selection is very good. A restaurant and bar is within walking distance.

    « Nice hotel »

We were doing a motorcycle trip to the Big Bend area and stayed here on a Friday evening and then again the following Sunday evening. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were very nice. The only problem we had was the hotel bar wasn't staffed on Friday evening. But, luckily we travel with our own bartender and the management allowed her to tend bar for us. We will definitely keep this hotel in our plans for future rides to the area.

    « Woke by a stranger »

While I was sleeping the front desk issued a key to my room and allow a lady with 3 screaming kids to enter my room startling and waking for sleep. I have been in this room for over 15 nights at this point and several nights left in my stay. They apology was "oh sorry we did that hey I'm going to slide a new key under your door because we just erased it when we gave that lady access to your room.

    « GO HERE , SERIOUSLY »

Spent one night here on a most of the cross country road trip. Tired , grimey , beat up from long distance driving. You get it . Wow. New nice , friendly. Comfortable beds & pillows , breakfast in the morning obviously prepared by someone local on a contract basis. Delicious on all accounts. Refreshed ready to put in a long day the next day. Couple of tips 1. Don't eat at the next door affiliated restaurant. 2. Mark your calendar for the " Big Bend Open Road Race " April 17th. The town will be busy. Make a reservation. Think 210mph. Corvair. Serious stuff.

« Another Great Stay at the BW in Ft. Stockton »

Overall a good place to stay. It's obvious that management at this hotel takes great pride on their property. Can always count on this place to be clean, quiet and comfortable. It appears as if a number of the oil field workers also stay here and in spite of the mud and dirt, the place is very clean.

« Perfect, pet friendly property after a long day of driving »

We travel with our two well mannered larger dogs across the US and normally frequent another pet friendly chain. Fort Stockton is often a stopping point as we head from Arizona to Texas. After a disappointing stay at the other property on our last trip, we were thrilled to find the Best Western Plus in Fort Stockton. Pets are warmly welcomed (with a small fee), and there is a fenced astro turf dog run with a handy supply of poop bags nearby. Pet owners are also warmly welcomed by efficient and friendly front desk staff, rooms are spotlessly clean, well maintained, and excellent breakfast options. This will be our "go to" property when we travel thru Fort Stockton in the future.

    5
« Great Place to Stay »

This is our third stay at the Best Western Plus in Fort Stockton Texas. We will not stay anywhere else when traveling to and from Texas. The staff is kind, friendly and efficient. They are pet friendly and even have a large dog run. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

    5
« Typical nicely appointed BW Plus »

I usually seek out BW hotels when travelling, and am hardly ever disappointed. Only issue here is the room rate, which is higher than I would like to lay out. Will probably seek another place on my next trip to the area.

« On the Road Again »

This is my half way stop between Corpus Christi and my family in New Mexico. We are always greeted warmly and our room is always clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast is always nice. Good selection of cereal, fresh fruit, oatmeal, waffles, coffee, tea and juice plus a hot selection of eggs, meat and breakfast potatoes. Staff very friendly. Best Western has a great rewards program and you can get 15% off your dinner bill at the Pecos Roadhouse which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Great Place

    « Moving stop »

I was in the middle of a long move and this was a halfway point for us to stop at. My 3 children were very happy to see the pool and that there was WIFI . The staff was very helpful and polite as we checked in. Rooms were clean . The breakfast was great with lots of choices. As we were leaving we saw brown bags at a table that were grab and go. That was a great idea as they had a bottle of water, a apple and a granola bar for the road.

    « Well - double check »

We liked the room. We liked the breakfast. It was too hot in breakfast area and the shower area was cleaned but not double checked! :( I double checked it and everything else - all else was ok. We stayed only for a short night coz this was a pitstop for homebound! I would stay there again but would remember to double check everything! Oh. And the GPS sends you to the wrong location but the hotel it sends you to is very nice about it!!

    « Another Great BW »

Here we are in Fort Stockton staying at a Plus hotel. This is a Plus hotel that deserves the designation. Upon check-in my diamond status was recognized and we were upgraded to a lovely suite. Great HD TV great channel selection and strong WiFi make this a Plus. Cookies and coffee in the lobby 24/7. The breakfast was great a lot of choices. This the first of many BW's stayed in that provided Almond milk for cereal and coffee another Plus. Also 4 yogurt brands was a first as well. The only issue I had was finding the location, so I called from a nearby gas station. After giving me great directions, and talking to me while I drove. The manager said " if you get lost I will come get you". Truly a first and much appreciated. We found the place with his directions.

    « Great Night's Rest »

My father and I were on a trek from San Antonio, TX, to Albuquerque, NM, and stopped for the night at this Best Western Plus. We were grateful for the wonderful air conditioning, remarkably comfortable beds, gorgeous bathroom, and (Dad especially) DirecTV service so we could watch a couple of games. We didn't care for the restaurant choices since we were both dead tired, but the hotel luckily had quick dinner options like frozen pizza and cup noodles. The breakfast the following morning was a delicious way to start the day.

Good Internet, Clean and Updated Rooms, In-Room Kitchenette allows me to eat cleanly on the road, and the breakfast is quality as well. Santosh is an accommodating Manager and Nathan has always been very responsive to requests.

« A Great and very well maintained property »

Clean, comfortable and quiet. We've stayed on average one night a month in Ft. Stockton, and have tried most every hotel in this city. This one, far and away was the most clean and comfortable property we've stayed at.

« Good option for trip »

We stayed here while traveling from College Station, TX to Big Bend National Park. The location and room were fine. The free breakfast was surprisingly good. I'd certainly stay here again. There are limited restaurants in the area.

    « Definitely a repeat experience. »

I travel a lot and I mean a lot, my hotel of choice has been the Best Western chain and this hotel is ranked @ one of my faves. Comfy beds which are a must, reliable air conditioning, great staff and great breakfasts. They also have a evening bar to relax and socialize. Awesome, noise level is minimal secondary to their soundproofed rooms. I work about 17 hrs a day and always wake refreshed @ a Best Western.

    « Great Stay »

This is an excellent hotel with great staff, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. The staff were very curtious and were able to answer questions I had of the area. Breakfast was good and the coffee had just the right flavor, not too strong and not too weak. I would highly recommend this Best Western Plus when traveling in this area.

Never would have thought that this would be such a comfortable hotel, but the beds were superior to many other hotel beds I have slept on. For the price, this was a superior option! The breakfast is also pretty good! The grab-n-go breakfast was a good option.

« Should be rated 0 or worse for lack of cleanliness and poor management »

Lobby looked updated, but as we arrived there was a sign saying to please call a phone number if we needed assistance. Called and the phone at the front desk rang but no one answered because there wasn't anybody at the front desk to answer it. Waited with three other guests who needed assistance for over twenty minutes before someone finally showed up to help. A bit frustrated and annoyed as had been on the road driving for 8+ hours with a small dog and just wanted to check in and get some rest before needing to get on the road again early the next morning. I had a reserved room/reservation for a room with a king size bed. The hotel is a pet friendly hotel and there is a $20 fee for a pet. The front desk clerk asked if I was traveling with a dog and I said yes. The clerk then stated they didn't have a room available with a king size bed at the rate I booked that was pet friendly and the only room available was an upgraded room at a higher rate that I would be required to pay. I voiced a complaint about the situations do the clerk said I would have to talk to the manager who wasn't there and she didn't know if he would be in that night or the next day. The clerk gave me the option for a room with a queen size bed but I preferred/reserved a king size bed and would address the charge with the manager or my credit card company if needed. When we got to the room there was a dirty wet dog smell to the room. The clerk showed me the other queen size room which also had a bad smell. We looked at the king room again (at this point my husband had unloaded a lobby cart full from our car to the assigned room. Upon further inspection of the room there were obvious black dog hairs all over the floors, a dog hair on the bed (our dog has cream colored fur so no possible way we had tracked any of this into the room. The clerk confirmed the lack dog hair was from the previous guest had a large black lab. There was also a human hairs and dirt smudges on the bathroom floor, human hairs stuck to the shower basin and shower walks, and in the bathroom sink. It was very obvious the bathroom sink wasn't fully cleaned and the toilet had not been cleaned well either with urineand other matter along the rim and toilet seat. I reported this to the front desk staff and was informed that housekeeping was gone for the day. We looked at the queen size room again to also find upon further inspection had dirt and human hair in the bathroom area not cleaned wellthere were no dog hairs and haphazardly cleaned. I was extremely tired and at this point had to weigh my options of would it be easier/quicker to ask for cleaning products to clean the room myself or have to dispute the hotel charges for deciding to leave, pack up the car again along with the dog, find another room in the area that would allow a dog, or drive another 8+ hours to our next destination in Tuscon, AZ where we could stay at a much nicer full service hotel. I opted for the easiest and easiest solution and to just get cleaning products from the front desk and try to clean the floors and bathroom myself. My husband left to go and get food because the hotel didn't have a restaurant. After attempting to clean the room with a air freshener liquid and a few rags provided by the front desk clerk I received a call in the room from the front desk clerk and told me they spoke with their manager on the phone and the manager wanted us to vacate the property and if we didn't vacate they would call the police to ensure we vacated. My husband was still out getting stuff at the store/dinner and I had to call for him to return to the hotel. I went back to the front desk and asked why this was happening and the clerk repeatedly apologized and said they had to follow what the manager had told them to do/tell us. We left the hotel, found another hotel in the area that would allow our small dog and that had a clean room and my husband called the main Best Western customer service to let them know what happened. I usually don't take the time to write a review but this was beyond having a bad experience and/or simply choosing not to stay the next time. I sincerely hope no other travelers have the same experience or treated so poorly.

    « Very Accommodating »

Nice lodging, great front desk staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was certainly enough to get us back on the road. The restaurant next door came in handy for a quick dinner.

    « Very nice »

Pretty new and very friendly. I only gave it a 4 because there was a hair in my shower and the toilet didn't get totally cleaned, otherwise the room was clean, although, the bed cover could have used a washing. I liked that the remote was in a bag, supposedly cleaned, I hope that was the case. It had a so so breakfast, but the coffee was good. This is very different from the Best Westerns I grew up with. I would stay again

« Great Accomodations and Service »

From the moment we walked through the door, this hotel went out of its way to accommodate us. They had no luggage carts so the manager offered to help with luggage. They made special breakfast because of food allergies. This is an exceptional hotel I highly recommend staying there when traveling Interstae 10.

    « Comfortable »

Very comfortable King bed suite. Clean, updated and very friendly, helpful staff. Easy on and off I10. Free, hot breakfast. Strong Wi Fi. Nice size flat screen. Also had refrigerator and microwave. Lobby had small store for goodies. Lobby had coffee, tea and cookies out all evening. Only complaint was poor water pressure.

So glad we stayed here. I will stay again here on my way across texas. The food was great and we loved the lobby area grocery items available. Even ice cream! We even were able to get the preferred floor we wanted. Great staff and friendly, quiet atmosphere.

« The best place to stop!! »

We stopped for an overnight rest in fort Stockton and very very happy we chose this hotel- room was spotless, staff super friendly and very helpful. The bed was superb! We had just driven from San Antonio heading to El Paso. Breakfast included which was more than adequate for our NZ breakfast tastes. Totally recommend this place - you won't be disappointed. Do note however, there's not a lot of eating spots in fort Stockton- there's a restaurant in house, or a diner next door.

The hotel was very clean. Both in and outside. The room was maintain very well. The room was also very quite #317. Breakfast was good. A variety of things to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The check-in with very well. Even upgraded my room, the first time that has happened. Very nice restaurant next door.

    « Best Sleep »

On the last night of a two week road trip and with a 650 mile drive home ahead, we stopped in Fort Stockton because we could not go on after 700 mile day. There are a surprising number of lodging choices in Ft. Stockton. After three bad nights in a row in Comfort Inns, we opted for Best Western Plus. Great decision. The hotel is new but of most importance to me, it is clean! They had a bar open serving beer on tap. Our room was clean, well supplied with towels and toiletries. The bed was comfortable and the flat screen was at least a 45" There is a restaurant right next door, but we chose to stay in after our late arrival. There is also a movie theater nearby. The location is very convenient, just off I-10. Easy on and off. Breakfast was standard but with many choices including hot breakfast, healthy breakfast, fresh fruits and juices. The staff was courteous and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

The staff here go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. Many excellent pluses to the usual motel experience. Fine indoor pool. Everything new and clean. Spacious. Great bed. We were so pleased with our stay. The breakfast is varied, the coffee excellent, the staff person overseeing breakfast is so helpful. We will come back whenever we're in Ft. Stockton!

« Brand new & nice - but some things left to be desired »

With this being a brand new hotel, they should have used Queen size beds instead of Full size in the double rooms. The beds are too high & the AC blows right INTO the bed next to it... Freezing all night. There's no room to move over when you have your spouse in the bed with you. Being a brand new hotel, I would have expected better mattresses. The breakfast was "ok".... Hardly any options for those that need low sugar/low carbs (literally I ate 4 pieces of ham & a spoonful of watery scrambled eggs). Lastly for the area this hotel is in, the rate was a little high... $129.99+ tax - not quite the quality that commands that rate - especially out here. Bathrooms were nice & clean. Room was clean. Internet was a little on the slow side. Good in a pinch, but I think they missed the mark. (and a slight pet peeve - the tv is mounted on the wall - but not centered over the credenza) Be prepared to hid the bolster pillows if you have kids - or pillow fights will ensue.

« Lovely place. Looks brand new. »

We spent one night here on the way to San Antonio. BW Plus is usually a cut above, and this location is no exception. Good bed, good lighting, roomy bathroom, delicious breakfast, helpful staff. They even have a pet run for your canine family member. The breakfast buffet had anything you could want except maybe an omelette: eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffles, croissants, English muffins, toast, rolls, cereal, juice, fresh fruit, coffee, yogurt, for example. We slept great and there was very little road noise -- not enough to interrupt our sleep! If you are a light sleeper, you could request a room on the back side away from the highway, but really, it's not bad at all. No negatives!

« Best Western off I-10 in Fort Stockton »

My family did a 2 week road trip in Texas, and we found this to be the best value hotel. It is very clean, staff friendly and breakfast was delicious. We stayed 2 nights so that we could visit Big Bend National Park. It is a gem of a hotel out in the middle of no where. Their store is very convenient. If you don't feel like going out for a meal, you can purchase frozen dinners or have ice cream at a reasonable price. I did not feel that I was being gouged at this hotel. You may want to consider in visiting the historic part of Fort Stockton as well. The bed was very comfortable.

    5
    « great night rest »

Only negative I see is the breakfast items left something to be desired. Otherwise, the place is great. Very quiet, plenty of parking, comfortable rooms etc. Even have a restaurant next door to eat. I would stay here again if in the area and highly recommend it to anyone.

« Great stay and accommodating staff »

My family and I stayed here on the way home after 2 weeks on the road. We were all pretty worn out and needed to get to a good place. This place is highly rated for a reason. It's outstanding. First off its impeccably clean. The lobby is warm and welcoming. The front desk staff and manager are friendly, inviting and accommodating. There is a lobby bar with a cute and friendly bartender. There is a clean patio with a smoking area. The rooms are spacious, clean and look brand new. The bed is warm and comfortable. The flatscreen TVs are huge with crystal clear resolution. We have a large family with small children. The hotel manager put us in a large room away from other guests so we would not disturb anyone. I very much appreciated this. Highly recommend this hotel.

« Great Dog Friendly Hotel »

As we were traveling from Arizona to East Texas we decided this would be a good point to stop. This is a great location off of I-10, was very convenient. We also chose this hotel because they were pet friendly and we were traveling with two small pets, there is a small fee, I think it was only $20 extra. The great thing is they have a great outside fenced in area outside for the pets. They have rooms right near the lobby/entrance for people who travel with their pets for easy access to go outside. The room we had two double beds, very comfortable beds and overall the room and bathroom were clean. Our room was spacious with a microwave and refrigerator and a nice big flat screen tv on the wall. They had freshly baked cookies and coffee available in the lobby as well. The staff at the front desk was friendly as well as every employee we came across. They do have a bar open in the evening with big screen tv's in the same room as the complimentary full breakfast that is available in the mornings. The Breakfast had a lot to offer including yogurt, eggs, a meat (they had sausage the morning we were there), cereals, breakfast breads, juices, and coffee. You should not leave hungry. I wish there were a few other restaurants closer to walk to for dinner, we went to one nearby, across the parking lot, and service was slow and food was just okay. Overall I would give this hotel an excellent rating and if I find myself in West Texas again I would definitely stay here.

    « Perfect! »

Traveling with my Mom and Chocolate Lab. I stopped here because they listed "dog friendly". Called to check if we could be accommodated as there are limited rooms for pets. The room was located on the ground floor, near an exit door and parking. Only guests with pets were put in this area so other guests were not disturbed. There was a large fenced area for pets to be off leash and exercise with a trash can and poop bags available. There was free hot coffee and cookies in the lobby and refreshments to purchase. Great for a quick snack while getting unloaded. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

    4
    « Nice Hotel »

The staff was very friendly and after a terribly long drive that was very nice. We had a room with two queens on the bottom floor. Everything was clean and super quiet even though I know the hotel was almost sold out. We got in late, was able to get a great nights sleep and left early.

    5
« New hotel with friendly staff »

Hotel appears to be very new. It was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was free and above average as free hotel breakfast goes. We got the handicapped accessible King suite. The room was large with lots of room, bed was comfortable. Curtains required clipping to block out light. Bathroom was large and clean with a good shower/tub. Coffee maker was cheesy, but the microwave, refrigerator, and hair dryer worked well. The TV included multiple movie channels and large cable channel selection. Hotel pantry features wide selection of snacks, microwavable meals and Haagen Dazs ice cream.

« Hospitality in Fort Stockton »

Very new property. Everything was very clean and in working order, which I can't always say for Best Westerns. We were not traveling with a pet, but this hotel is very pet-friendly, and it was obvious that travelers are aware of that. A really good value if you have to make that long trip across Texas on the I-10.

    « Request filled. »

Mr. Raj the assistant manager ensured that our special request was filled when I found out that it had not been achieved. While the receptionist was courteous he was unable to fill our request. Enter Mr. Raj who asked me to wait while he saw to it. Five minutes later it was taken care of. I will stay that on my future trips if I drive.

    « Immaculate! »

We drove from Phoenix to Austin with one night's sleep in this hotel. We had our labrador with us. The room was immaculate and I would recommend this hotel to anyone! We didn't partake, but there is a bar in the hotel as well. We walked next door to a diner for dinner and it was fine, too. Great hotel for all!

    « The perfect I-10 stop »

Incredibly nice people, incredibly clean rooms, top shelf experience all the way around. We stopped in just looking for a place to crash en route to San Antonio and could not have asked for a better experience. A nice and pleasant reprieve, would absolutely stay again!

Nice place, friendly staff, great room, great breakfasts, great bar in evening, getting to the location is a little trickle due to the interstate, could have a little better markings on the feeder road to the location.

« Great Stay for family with pet »

Comfy beds, good rate, great indoor pool and hot tub, pet friendly, good breakfast. Check in was easy. Staff was pleasant. Hotel was clean. Parking was well lit. It was a little hassle trying to feed family once checked in because most all local restaurants were closed but had nothing to do with the awesome service of this hotel.

    5
    « Family with pets »

This hotel was amazing. They allow pets on the first floor and there was a fee for pets. The have a wonderful dog run with AstroTurf. The indoor pool is a one of a kind. We also enjoyed the bar, because a good way to relax is a few cold brews and watching TV on a nice flat screen mounted on the wall. We will stay here again if we travel through Fort Stockton.

« New, Clean, and Pet Friendly »

Ft Stockton is our stopping point coming back from CO. This is a great place to stay. Right off the highway. Close to restaurants. It's a little more than the La Quinta, but much cleaner and newer. The breakfast is good, not great, but there is something for everyone with plenty of good coffee, fresh fruit, taquitos and waffles. They have a nice fenced dog area where your Pups can run. There is a $20 extra charge for Fido, but worth it. The management and staff are very nice. We left our dog steps and they were immediately turned in to the front desk.

    « Less Than Expected »

I had read all the reviews for Fort Stockton and thought I had picked the best hotel. I was sadly disappointed. It was quite new, so things were not worn, but there was no attention to detail. The room was good but there were things laying on the floor in the elevator and lobby, lots of hand prints in the elevator, and just general untidy appearance. The blower in the room was one that kept going on and off. It helped to turn it on 100% of time to block road noise. The breakfast was the worst. The room was freezing, the hot water for tea was not lukewarm, and food poor. This is maybe a two star hotel.

« Hotel Exceeded All Expectations »

This is a brand new hotel. Contemporary decor which I prefer. Hotel actually had a small bar open each night. Spotless hotel. High ceilings throughout. Even the elevator walls was coordinated with the floor tiles in elevator and throughout hotel. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel was about 48 inch flatscreen with DIRECTV and DIRECTV remote which I love. Excellent Hi-Def. Towels were extra thick, another bonus. Very nice indoor pool and spa. Bathroom was above average. I particularly liked the oversized shower with 6 foot high 3/8 inch thick clear shower glass doors. Felt like I was in a fancy casino bathroom, at least partly. Breakfast was above average. for example 7 kinds of fresh fruit. A refrigerator filled with just yogurt. All the normal hot and cold other items. The eating area was at least two times the size of most hotel eating areas. Each floor has high ceilings. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THEY ALLOW PETS ON THE FIRST FLOOR. WHEN I ARRIVED I HEARD A DOG BARKING FROM ROOM ADJACENT TO ELEVATOR. I discussed my concern with two managers that were on site in the morning. They were very receptive. Explained that they CURRENTLY allow pets only on first floor, and take many steps, to reduce likelihood that guests without pets will be negatively impacted. HOWEVER, they are keeping track of complaints about pets, and will reevaluate allowing pets on an ongoing basis. This hotel is so beautiful, I hope they will switch to no pets allowed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEl, even with the current pet policy. Suggest you not pass up. If you agree with me, that they should not allow pets in the future on the first floor, as that still can impact guests on other floors, give management feedback. They are very hands on, and it is obvious they want to keep this a first class hotel. Their ongoing involvement , I suspect, is why it is so polished.

« On the Road Again! »

Needing to travel back and forth between Texas and New Mexico on a regular basis. This hotel is about half way and this is the only hotel we consider when traveling. Modern, Nicely decorated, Good Breakfast, Comfy beds, Clean, Reasonably priced and convenient to the Interstate. Nice staff. I think their bar is open now which is nice. Also it is next to Stockton's for fun like bowling, pool, arcade games and a movie! Walking distance to Pecos Roadhouse that serves a decent dinner. Good place to stop!

« Great hotel, best Best Western we stayed at this year. »

Great hotel, probably the nicest Best Western we have stayed at this year. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel room was large and modern. Very large shower in our room. Small fridge in our room and microwave. We found the mattress to be very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place just for a night or an extended stay.

    « Amazing Stay »

Thank you so much for making my experience a pleasant one. I recently traveled for business and decided to take my dog with me (family as well, but only my husband was with me when we stayed here). My stay here was amazing. Friendly staff, clean facilities, and very pet friendly. Pet fee was only $20 (other places charged a lot more) and the staff truly made us feel as if our pet was welcomed rather than an inconvenience. Breakfast wasn't stellar, but tasted great and filled us up.

    « Excellent Replacement »

I stayed in Ft Stockton at the Best Western a few years ago and was surprised when we drove up to find this wasn't the same one. Evidently the old one burnt down and a new one was built about a year ago. Big improvement. A real nice property with an efficient staff. Room was big and comfortable. My wife liked the shower.

I've stayed at a thousand different places across the globe, BW Plus is by far one of my favorites. There facility is clean, comfortable and so accommodating. I observed the management days/nights interact with the staff and they get it. Keep your staff happy and they will take care of the customer. It was a pleasure speaking with Santosh the GM, I felt like I've known him for some time. Keep up the great work your doing, see you next time for sure. Adios ~Cowboy Collins

We stopped in Fort Stockton for a much needed rest. We had been traveling all day and were exhausted. We couldn't have been any happier when we checked into this hotel! The staff was so friendly, the hotel and room were immaculate and the beds were super comfortable! We will definitely be staying there any time we're in Ft. Stockton. It's definitely the best hotel in town!! Highly recommend it for weary travelers.

This property is very nice and very contemporary. The room was nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. Nice television mounted on the wall. A welcome place to stay if you are passing through. They have a breakfast that we didn't take advantage of but it looked very nice.

« Customer service was AWESOME »

We never even got to stay here thanks to Priceline booking us a room that did not exist- long story. The hotel had no rooms available, but the manager Santosh and his crew provided incredible customer service in a difficult situation. They were professional, kind, and super helpful in finding accommodations after a long day of traveling. 10 out of 10, though we never left the front lobby! Thank you, Santosh, for going out of your way to take care of us.

This is a very new and modern hotel. It is very clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The beds are perfect and have high thread count soft sheets. The pool is indoors and in working order. There is also an indoor whirlpool. The lobby is beautiful and the front des also acts as a snack/ necessity shop. The tvs are flat screen and about 39 inches. The free continental breakfast is well above average. They also have Texas Shaped Waffles with all the fixens!

During cross country trip we decided to stop in Ft. Stockton. We had our two dogs with us and needed a pet friendly place to stay. The Best Western Plus jus happened to have openings. Highly recommend stopping here if in the area and staying over

« An oasis in the desert »

This hotel lived up to the other reviews that I read about it. I didn't want to send $150 on a hotel in a passing through town in the middle of nowhere. After reading reviews of the other hotels in town, I booked one here. It was worth it! Exemplary service, clean room, great tv and channel selection, nice pool ( and warm which is nice for an indoor pool) and a clean breakfast room with better than average hotel breakfast. Did I mention this place was very clean? Worth the stop.

« Definitely would stay again »

This hotel was surprisingly wonderful after staying at the last 2 Best Westerns that were disappointing. Great decor inside and out. Clean inside and out. Lobby very inviting offering coffee/tea and cookies! The rooms were large and enjoyed having a sofa in a separate area, desk, very large screen TV with satellite. Microwave, coffee maker, fridge. Bathroom was large, good towels and shower. The breakfast was very good with a large selection and fresh fruit and western omelette style scrambled eggs. There is no question about staying here again.

« Love the new BW brand »

It seems BW has recently rebranded themselves (or it happened in the last 2 years when I didn't want to travel with a toddler). Based on this particular location I would say they have Nailed It. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and so clean. The flat screen TV I angled perfect for viewing on the giant king sized bed. It's pet friendly and includes a dog run with a bench. The bathrooms are complete with granite counter tops. The towels are even pretty luxurious for the price you pay here. In the evening they leave out fresh cookies and also have a bar on site for guests. The breakfast in the morning is hot and delicious. Check in and out was easy. There is plenty of parking and a lot for large vehicles, rv, or truckers. Within walking distance (with a toddler that means basically across the parking lot) is a nice little spot to grab dinner called Pecos Roadhouse. This was am excellent stay and if I'm ever in the area, I will return.

This is our go to stop between Corpus Christi Texas and various family members in New Mexico. On our way back to Corpus Christi from a family wedding. The hotel is always clean and the beds are comfy. The bar is now open but we have not tried that yet...maybe next time. Internet is fast, love having Direct Tv available so we can watch our favorite shows. Breakfast is always pretty good, the coffee is hot and rich, nice selection of fruit, juice, cereal, bagels and waffles. They always serve some sort of meat, potatoes and egg. Had a bagel half with egg and cheese this round and it was the perfect way to start the day. Friendly staff. This is always a good stop

Very impressed with this hotel! Extremely clean, well maintained and the staff was very professional! Great breakfast! This hotel has everything you could ask for: indoor pool, hot tub, and even a bar!

« Friendly and comfortable stay »

I stopped in Fort Stockton after 5 days in Big Bend National Park on my way home. The Best Western was very comfortable and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The room that was reserved for me was not ready when I got there, very tired from a lot of driving, and without missing a beat Robert upgraded me to a suite that was immediately available. I did not have to ask or fuss. The place had a bar, though I was to tired to bother with it. They also had a small concession area where I could buy a frozen meal to heat in the microwave and snacks or beverages is desired. This was priced reasonably and allowed me to have a light meal and turn in early. The room was spacious with the usual amenities. It was attractive and very comfortable. I would return there if I find myself that way again.

« Great Service and Location »

After a long drive of 700 miles, it was great to find the welcoming faces at this outpost of a city. Not only were they helpful in a pre-arrival call to easily locate the building, but they also gave excellent advice to go to Taco OJ's for dinner outside of the usual highway experience. Breakfast was great, and enough to get us on our way to complete our journey.

Great new hotel....Fantastic fenced dog run with "astro Turf"...Would recommend it to anyone. Very good breakfast. Staff was very friendly,,Next time in Ft Stockton would defiantly return. Very dog friendly

    « Amazing Staff »

We often stay at Best Western's, usually with positive experiences. Must say the Fort Stockton experience was one of the best due to extremely helpful and accommodating staff. Wouldn't hesitate recommend this location

    « Unexpected! »

I travel for work and stay in Hilton/Hyatt/Marriotts all the time. Was traveling through on a road trip with my son and needed a place to stay so took a chance of this property... Needless to say, it was as nice (if not nicer) than what I'm used to! Front desk gentleman was extremely polite, room was spacious, comfy bed, great water pressure in the shower, breakfast area was cheery and they even had a Texas shaped waffle iron. We weren't traveling with pets, but did see a few there and they seemed to be welcomed.

    « Best Hotel EVER! »

Stay here. This hotel is awesome - not kidding. The breakfast was better than we have ever had at any hotel. Rooms were clean. Hotel staff go above and beyond. And there is even a dog park next to hotel to walk your dog. So this hotel has definitely accommodated for EVERY need. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Other hotels need to take example of this one. Bed was firm so if you don't like firm I don't know what to tell you other than the rest of the hotel makes up for it. But my husband and I like a firm bed so it was good for us.

« Excellant Place To Stay »

This "new" Best Western Plus is way above any place else in Ft. Stockton Texas. Extremely nice, clean quiet place to stay when traveling on I-10. Will definitely stay again. Property has a lounge/bar and snacks and other items on sale at the front desk. Decent restaurant right next door also.

    « Very Nice Experience »

Clean and attractively furnished rooms. A professional, friendly and helpful staff. Strong WiFi signal easy to access. Delicious breakfast with a nice variety of choices. This was our second stay in this property. The only negative is the TripAdvisor review process which requires a minimum of 200 characters in this box in order to be accepted. What more can I say?

    « Best customer service!!!! ***** »

We were just going to stay for one night as a stop over but we may just stay an extra night. Amazing customer service-family/pet friendly. By far the best experience we've had on this road trip. Take the time to spend a little time at the bar and talking to the people that run the hotel-great people

« Beautiful hotel and a great location »

We were happily surprised with this hotel. We stayed in Fort Stockton ten years ago, and the hotels were a disappoint. This hotel is new, and it located right off of I-20. The hotel was very pretty, and the room was a great size. The breakfast was very tasty, too. This hotel would be a great place to stay before heading to Big Bend National Park (which is what we did).

« Better than most rural Best Westerns »

The staff welcoming and helpful on check in and check out. The facilities are very nice and appears to be new. The hot breakfast was quite good with few seemingly prepackaged items. Fresh fruit, juice coffee, and tea is available 24/7. The only complaint is that this locations is a bit more expensive than I would expect especially for not being in a large city.

    « Very nice »

Friendly staff, clean rooms, kids loved the free cookies and I enjoyed the free coffee. Indoor pool that is heated and had a nice gym to help stretch your muscles after a long car ride. Only negative was the thin walls, could hear a lot of doors shutting and TV's on. Didn't have a pet with us but did see a lot of other families checking in with pets and they were very accommodating.

    « New but a little odd »

Again second time in a row-platinum means nothing. Apparently there is a happy hour hear but no one mentioned it. Individual room AC "kind of works" off and on. No tub and shower has a small trip hazard so watch it. Beds fine, tv great. Breakfast ok. Price is high. You decide!

    « Great stay »

The room was small and appeared clean. However, we found a box of partly eaten White Castle burgers in the fridge, which made us wonder about how thoroughly the room was actually cleaned. We brought the burger box to the front desk. The person on duty took it with no comment other than "oh thanks." We noticed the US flag outside was completely torn and shredded and told management. We were emailed the following day with an assurance it would be replaced. The noise of people coming and going in the hallway during the night was disruptive to our sleep. Breakfast was great, eggs, country potatoes, biscuits, gravy, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit, plus assorted pastries, all fresh and at proper temps. The breakfast area was spotless and the person in charge was attentive and personable.

« Beautiful, clean, new, and dog friendly »

This is a beautiful new hotel and has a gorgeous dining area. My favorite part of this hotel is that it's dog friendly and has a dog run on the side of the hotel where you can play with your fur baby. Our room was clean and nicely decorated and loved the fresh sanitized tv remote. Overall I was very impressed. This is the best hotel we stayed at on our road trip.

    5
« Big rooms, very clean and new »

We stopped here because it was a Best Western and we're pleased with our decision. The room was clean and the bed plush and comfortable. Nice big shower and free breakfast in the morning. The staff was friendly and there is a restaurant next door. Great place to stay on the road.

    « Excellent Chain Hotel!!! »

We stayed here during a road trip returning to Houston from Vegas and were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Check in was fast and easy despite arriving at 10 pm. There were cookies in the lounge and there were luggage carts accessible as well which we appreciated. The room was right on the first floor and easy to get to. We got a double suite so we had a kitchenette with a full fridge. I was also very pleased at the dishwasher and plates and glasses in the room. Beds were so comfortable we didn't want to get up! I would recommend to anyone and will also consider Best Western properties more often in the future.

« great hotel in fort Stockton »

Very nice well maintained Hotel. staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean and the location of the hotel was close to the interstate. we would stay here again on our way through Fort Stockton

« Such nice people, great if you have a pet!! »

We stayed one night. They have rooms on lower level that allow dogs and a nice dog run which we were so happy to have after our poor lab had been cramped in the car for hours. The manager changed rooms for us even tho it was all my fault if rented a king instead of double room. 20$ fee for a pet. Worth it since they had the dog run. Beds very comfy breakfast basic but good. Everyone soooo nice.

    « Definitely recommend! »

Without a doubt, the best place to stay in Fort Stockton! Very clean, friendly staff, good coffee (not great coffee, just good), convenient breakfast. GPS had a tough time getting us here, so don't get too frustrated if you take the scenic route. It's worth the possible detour. There is some road noise if you stay on the side facing I-10, but you are on a major interstate, what can you expect?

    5
    « Great Stay »

felt very safe here, the breakfast room was very clean and good food, friendly and helpful staff. the room was very clean and well organized with all the thing you need for a one night stay. the night clerk made a great restaurant recommendation that was very close buy which just made the stay that much better.

    4
« Great Hotel Bad Staff »

The hotel is new and nice, but the staff was not helpful. Now it was Spring break and it was packed, but if i am a rewards card holder(platinum) i expect good service for my loyalty to the company. Night manager was either asleep or to busy to help, day staff had to keep asking the same employee if what they were doing was right. Just have that lady work front desk and take care of everyone. Breakfast was good and beds were nice, so as long as that is all you need this hotel is good.

« An oasis during a long drive »

While driving through Texas we were looking for a balance of value and amenities in a hotel. We called the desk and discussed the rates. The hotel was better than I could have imagined. After checking out I noticed a discrepancy in the quoted rates. During a follow up, the management cheerfully resolved any issue. I heartily recommend a stay here.

« Great Stay - worth the money »

Easy to reserve a room, clean and comfortable!! Well worth the money. Easy location to get to from freeway, Very clean and very nice and helpful staff. Good parking area and great variety selection of items for breakfast.

« Nice Place to Stay in Central Texas »

There aren't many towns to stay in between Austin and El Paso. We usually stay in Fort Stockton since it's halfway home from our daughter's home. We have stayed at many of the hotels in town and this is the best. Very large rooms, nice amenities and a much better breakfast than the other hotels with a full breadth of breakfast selections. The one downside is that it is not near a restaurant except for the one next door, the Pecos Roadhouse, which is awful. There are fast food places nearby. The bed was very good and the walk-in shower was excellent. We stayed in 229 at the end of the hall and it was very quiet.

    5
« Travel between Texas and New Mexico »

We travel frequently between Texas and New Mexico. This is about half way and is now our "Go-To" hotel stop on our trip. This hotel is practically brand new. Clean, comfy, convenient, good breakfast, fast internet and friendly staff. We are members of the loyalty program which I highly recommend. Even though the hotel is close to Interstate 10, it is very quiet. Next door to Pecos Roadhouse right next door for a quick meal.

    5
« Very Clean and Dog Friendly »

I tend to do a lot of road trips. Sometimes I travel with my two small dogs. But when traveling with dogs it's very hit or miss when it comes to finding a hotel that will accept them never mind find one as dog friendly yet clean as this. Not only did I get an exceptional room, but this hotel also has a 40 or 50 yard astro-turf dog run where your dogs can run free. This was a very welcome yet unexpected amenity and to date the only hotel I know of with the type of service. In addition the hotel was exceptionally clean (perhaps because it was new) and comfortable. Rates were about what you would expect. I will definitely stay at this hotel again if the need arises.

    « Pretty But Disappointing »

Our first impression was that it was really nice. The room was very large and well decorated. Very comfortable. The bed was great. However, I got cold in the middle of the night and turned off the AC but was still cold but not cold enough to warrant heat. There were no other blankets. The only blanket on the bed was extremely thin. Then, woke up to the elevator not working. We were on the third floor. Our room keys kept demagnetizing, which meant trips up and down the steps, then up then down the steps. The Wi-Fi was horrible. It was extremely slow and kept disconnecting. The staff seemed that they couldn't care less about anything. Maybe it was just a bad night.

« Great Place to Stay »

This hotel is new and modern. It's well run with friendly staff. The rooms are large and clean with big showers! It's tastefully done and right off I-10. The room was very clean and they have installed new LED lighting. Breakfast included hot and cold offerings and lots of space. The business computers and printers for guests worked perfectly. The lobby has coffee all the time with cookies too! With the AAA discount, the value is excellent! This was a welcome respite in trans-Pecos Texas!

    « CONVENIENT, CLEAN COMFORTABLE NEWER HOTEL...XCELENT! »

Friendly and efficient desk clerk (helpful with restaurants also), easy to room. Clean, spacious room, comfortable bed....breakfast was good. This hotel locally owned (I find that usually the locally owned Best Westerns are the best). Definitely would stay here again. happy trails

    « Dog Friendly »

We had a good night's sleep after a long drive from San Antonio. We travelled with two dogs and found this hotel's pet area the best. The dogs could run and stretch their legs. Beautiful big rooms with nice decor. Breakfast was the best we had in the USA at roadside hotels.

    4
    « New Hotel...what's not to like? »

New hotel with beautiful contemporary furnishings. Nice to find in a town after a long stretch of road that doesn't have many hotels to choose from. Easy access. Staff was efficient and friendly. Only complaint is the tray of cookies was empty and never refilled.

    5
    « clean and friendly »

outstanding, nice beds, staff was friendly and the breakfast was real good. Little cheese omelets where super good. If you don't mind spending a few extra bucks this place is well worth it. Real clean, I mean spotless. Manager was friendly and made us fresh cookies since we arrived so late. They hit the spot after 8 hours on the road.

    « Good night's sleep »

This was our first stop in Fort Stockton although we've come through here going 80 mph several times. My first impression was of how friendly and accommodating the hotel staff was during check-in. We found the safe already locked when we got in but they came and unlocked it for us within minutes. The room was set up very well. The TV is on the wall, leaving the dresser space available for our things. The nightstands have pull-out shelves to put our items on and we won't forget them because we can see them, as opposed to a drawer. The bed was comfy cozy with a lot of pillows. The remote was in its own wrap, indicating it had been cleaned for our use. The bathroom was also set up very well. We had the handicapped-accessible room and the shower door sealed very well, keeping the floor dry when stepping out. There was abundant hot water and good water pressure. And at last, the breakfast was perfect! The hubby had his hot sausage, eggs and potatoes and there was diced FRESH fruit and real butter for the good English muffins (you know, with all the nooks and crannies) for me. (There was also a fresh waffle-maker there but we didn't use that), They had good coffee, as well as fruit juices and milk available. We'll be back when we return this way in three weeks!

    « Almost a real Oasis »

On a recent visit to South West Texas I found this place. It truly was an Oasis. Awesome Rooms, a Hot Tub ( everyone knows I love Hot Tubs ), Fresh Cookies and Coffee in the Lobby...From the minute I walked in I loved my stay.

« Stop here if traveling with pets! »

Great place to stay when traveling with dogs. They even spoiled the pups with treats! We really appreciated being on the first floor with easy access to the outside. My dogs had a great time in the dog run. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable.

    « Comfortable and Restful »

Traveling from Albuquerque to Canyon Lake, TX, this place was wonderful for weary travelers. The staff was welcoming and helpful and the rooms were as advertised--the bed was comfortable and the rooms quiet. The 49-inch televisions were top notch with premium channels as well as movie channels in high def. The wi-fi was a little slow, but dependable. Great location with amenities such as exercise room, pool and free breakfast. We will definitely stay again if our travels bring us this way again.

« Your Best Option in Fort Stockton »

This is a new property located on I-10. The management went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The room had everything we needed, especially the great king bed. Breakfast was very good, including hot items. The only complaint would be that the wifi was a little slow. Will definitely stay here again.

« Great Staff and Rooms »

In the middle of nowhere is this gem of a hotel. The manager was as nice as could be and did everything he could to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. Worth staying here if you are in the area. Can't recommend it enough

    « OUTSTANDING!!!!!! »

As a Best Western Gold Elite Member, I can say that this property is the most outstanding Hotel in the chain that I have had the pleasure to visit. Large, very attractive rooms with comfortable beds, and high def television with lots of premium channels to choose from. Bathrooms are large with lots of towels and amenities. Very nice hot breakfast served every morning. Pecos Roadhouse located adjacent, (see separate review). Attractive common areas, business center, fitness center, indoor heated pool and jacuzzi. All facilities are well maintained and functional. Friendly and efficient staff are eager to please. Excellent location adjacent to Interstate 10. Lots of convenient and well lit off street parking. Highly recommended!

« Professional staff in stressful situation »

During an ice and snow storm, the power went out throughout the community, including the hotel computers. The manager and Alexa handled this situation with amazing professionalism. I had to wait a while for a vacancy as the manager had to physically check rooms for availability but he did so with great expediency and calm. I was truly impressed with their professional handling of this stressful situation. Many guests arrived while I was waiting, to find their online reservation did not go through due to the power outage. The manager and Alexa treated everyone so well that I never saw any guest get mad. I eventually did get a room and the power came on after a few hours. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of the Manager and Alexa.

« nice staff, but lazy housekeeping »

This is a nice looking hotel and I loved the indoor pool option for the little ones that have been stuck in the car all day and it's cold outside. Breakfast was descent as well. However our first room was dirty (the food area was dirty and there was food in the fridge and the bathroom area was not very clean) they switched our room and they mirror was super dirty (if you are going to have a mirror as the closet door you should probably clean it), the tile in bathroom and entryway was dirty, and the headboard had something sticky on it ( I can only imagine) . I usually have antibacterial cleaning wipes on have and I cleaned up but not before my 2 yr old licked the mirror!! ugh.... So just seeing that stuff made me a bit uncomfortable about the cleanliness of things that might not be visible. Also housekeeping was knocking on my door at 8 am to see if we checked out, I get that I forgot the quiet sign but really check out is at noon and we really needed that extra sleep after a long trip. Another thing is they charged my card a higher rate. I had originally booked online but had to call to change my night and they didn't give me same rate, at first the front was hesitant about correcting this. And for those that are shorter or with kids, the beds are super high.

    « Fort Stockton - Great Hotel »

The Fort Stockton hotel was very comfortable - big bed and clean room. It also featured a t.v. and had a nice sized shower. The hotel also boasted an indoor, heated, salt water pool and jacuzzi with beautiful views, as well as an excellent complimentary breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

« Meets and exceeds expectations »

This hotel has it all. I can't say enough good things about our stay. From the staff, to room comforts, to the quality of the food for breakfast.. After traveling over 600 miles that day with a dog, imagine my delight when upon arrival we found out the hotel had a dog run. I'm only guessing but maybe 20' wide x 100' long, 4' cyclone fenced with green astro turf. After traveling all day and cooped up in the truck it was great to have a safe place to let our dog run play ball and burn up some energy. The room was great with a 49" HD TV, a kingsize pillowtop mattress with great support and beautifully decorated and very clean. The breakfast offered was very good with quality products. I can't say enough about our delight to find this hotel and the value for the money. Wish they were all this great.

« LOVELY SUITE ANDROID GREAT FOR DOGS »

We are travelling with truck, trailer &4 dogs. We arrived late without reservation. We got a great room and they helped get ground floor room for our dogs. There was good parking. The breakfast was good and the staff was very nice. I highly recommend this motel.

    « Very new »

This was not a bad place to stay at all. Still very new and not everything was completely up and going. The fitness area had equipment in place but not completely set up. Would still recommend. Rooms were very clean, even the remote for the tv was sanitized for us. Would stay here again.

    « I recommend staying here »

very clean, brand new. It's the top on the line in Ft Stockton. They welcome pets and have pet rooms on the first floor which makes it easy to get in and out when one needs to take your pet out. The bed was comfortable the shower hot. There is no bathtub.

« Best Hotel in Fort Stockton »

Generally drive form Houston to Phoenix and usually stop in Fort Stockton on the way to Houston. The Best Western is new to the area, great over sized rooms and everything is NEW and clean .... yes clean. Best place to stay in Fort Stockton by far!

« Loved the indoor pool/hot tub, nice spacious room »

We were travelling in awful weather and found this hotel just in time to get some rest. My kids were thrilled to find out there was a nice heated indoor pool and we enjoyed soaking the stress of the road away in the hot tub. We chose a king suite and my sons (9 & 14) said the sofa bed was comfy. The king size bed was soft and so were the pillows. We had to check out early so we didn't spend a ton of time here but I liked the room and comfy beds. It is modern décor and we stayed near the elevator...wasn't sure if the noise would be overwhelming but it wasn't at all. I do think the price was a little high, we try to keep our hotel expenses lower, but it was a nice, clean room.

« Best hotel in the town »

The staff is friendly upon check in, and our room was perfect for what we needed. I am glad that such a small town has a new hotel with all the comforts. My son loved the heated pool when it was 25 degrees outside. We will be staying here next time we're passing through.

    4
    « Very nice hotel »

My husband and I needed a hotel that would accept our dog as we were returning home to Arizona from Houston. Some hotels in Ft Stockton were sold out as it was New Year's Day. We were fortunate this hotel still had a room and accepted the dog. Hotel super nice snd so clean. The front staff was so friendly and very helpful. There was coffee and cookies in the lobby. There's a restaurant next door in walking distance that was fine for dinners to take back to hotel. The breakfast was fresh and workers kept replenishing as hotel was busy. Only negative is hotel is quite pricey but from research all in that area are high. Also they don't give much of a military discount compared to Hilton etc.. But over all we were very pleased with hotel and staff was top notch.

    5
    « Best hotel »

We stayed here for one night on our way to Big Bend National Park and have to say that this was probably the nicest chain hotel we have stayed in. I think one reviewer mentioned it was built in 2015, which explains why everything was still really nice and new. We noticed that the bathroom was SO clean - the shower was sparkling because it was so spotless! The only negative thing is that I had some trouble connecting to the wifi but I didn't really mind it because we were on vacation and it's nice sometimes to get off the grid. We were very comfortable at this hotel and would absolutely stay here again. The breakfast was also the best hot breakfast we've ever had at a chain hotel like this. There was like bagel bites with egg and bacon pieces, sausage patties, and potatoes. There was also a pancake machine, lots of bagels and muffins, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. I do want to mention that if you have dietary restrictions, come prepared knowing that they will not make any special requests. There was a guy that came in with his elderly mother and either his mother's caretaker or his very young wife that were complaining loudly about there not being any vegetarian or healthy options. He asked a woman that was tending to the breakfast stations if she could make him fresh eggs and she said she couldn't and he went off on how he couldn't eat any of the unhealthy stuff out there and how he is healthy and that's why his mother lives to be as old as she is, and on and on and on. Then he sat to the table next to us and continued to complain loudly and saying rude things about the woman he spoke to, and just being outright obnoxious. Both my husband and I agreed that if you have dietary restrictions, you need to come prepared in case you can't eat anything that is being served. That should go for any place you visit! In summary, this hotel is wonderful and we give it a 10 out of 10.

    « Very good »

The room was so clean and comportable. Free wifi, parking and breakfast was so good for me. I liked the Best western hotel so I will try to go again with this hotel chain. My children liked this hotel, too. But the room was a little bit small to my family, 2 adults and 3 kids.

    « Worst Western? »

Very tired after a long drive. The night person at the front desk told me she didn't have our reservation at first, then said she did, but the we had a ??? room, couldn't understand her with repeated request to clarify. Had reserved a two bed room, but got a King with a fold-out. Very noisy, thin walls, with traffic and the noisy front desk. Awakened by phone about 30 min. after going to bed, but no answer. About 10-15 minutes later, the front desk lady knocked on our door and said we actually did have a two bed room, would we like to switch. My son was too tired, so we didn't, but uncomfortable King and fold-out.

« Friendly staff, nice hotel »

Hotel looks like it is fairly new. Our room was clean and in good shape, and had a decent supply of cooking utensils. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but OK. We didn't use the pool or exercise room, but both looked good. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. There's also a restaurant next door that was an extremely good value. I had the catfish sandwich and it was very good; my wife said her hamburger was good too. The prices were extremely reasonable, and the service was good. I doubt that there's a better hotel in Ft. Stockton, TX.

« The best stop for IH10 travel »

Brand new hotel. New beds, new salt water pool, new gym, new everything. The breakfast was over the top - with waffles, all types of fruit including mango and papaya, eggs, etc. Sometimes when we visit Fort Stockton businesses, we've been disappointed with the small town workers. Not here - you would have thought this was Dallas. Sophisticated and accommodating desk clerks and breakfast staff. We were in disbelief - this hotel is in Fort Stockton?

« Best of Best Western »

Try not to miss this hotel if stopping in the area. Everything was new and wonderful. Our suite had a nice sitting area. Comfortable bed with lots of fluffy pillows. Attentive staff. Maybe the best hotel on our 20-day Southern States road trip--also our second most expensive at $136 with tax. Compares in quality with luxury places like the Bellagio in Vegas.

« New, usually the best bet! »

In the old days I wouldn't stay in a motel unless it was a Best Western. That was always the mark of excellence. Over time they seemed to age and go down hill a bit. This one was the first I've stayed in quite a while. I sure glad I did. Probably the best place in Ft. Stockton to stay. Thought it to be a little pricey but I guess new is worth it. They could have done better on the breakfast. For the price I felt they should have served bacon and eggs instead of ground up eggs and sausage on a english muffin. Tip, unless you like to hear the 18 wheelers rumbling all night, stay in rooms facing the south. I will be staying here again. Nice place.

    « This is excellent. »

I am going to go California. Thus, I have to find the place to sleep on the way. I found this hotel, finally. Clean indoor, calm circumstances, cozy rooms. the newest building. This is the excellent place for family trip. I think that this is the no.1 hotel in Fort Stockton.

« This is The One - New Best Western »

You don't have to look any further. The Best Western in Ft. Stockton is the best hotel we've visited in a good long time. Surprising to find it on IH 10 half way between San Antonio and El Paso. But, heck, we're not complaining. New hotel. New, comfy beds, Spa with indoor salt water pool, excellent full breakfast, attentive staff. What's not to love? We stayed on the side of the hotel facing the highway, but did not hear road noise.

    « Fantastic hotel »

We were very pleased to find this hotel after our last visit to Fort Stockton at a different property. The hotel was clean and staffed by friendly, knowledgeable people. The room included an excellent hot breakfast. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to the area.

Hard to find from the highway,,,folks need to assume that the guest has no clue how to get to this place,,,it was very hard to find in the dark,,,very hard,,,we were in a Huge 26 foot long U-Haul towing our car,,,,

« Not Your Typical Best Western »

For those of you who look as Best Western as a step below other higher priced hotels, take a look at the Best Western Plus. You have a modern lobby, comfortable rooms with a sitting area (where did you buy your pillows, I would like to purchase some), wonderful bed, a breakfast ranging from cereal to omelets and very friendly service.

    « Excellent »

Driving across the country, we had to stop at Ft. Stockton for the night. We stopped at one hotel but did not like the feel of it. We decided to seek Best Western Plus. It is a brand new facility and a little complicated to get to. However, it is worth the effort. Everything was clean and attractive. The king bed was very comfortable. Included is full breakfast in a spacious room. There was even a real rose gracing each table! The staff was friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed this stop.

« Pricey, but we loved it! »

Great indoor pool and hot tub! Very clean hotel. Real food at breakfast was a plus. The coffee is delicious and they had real half and half for it- in those little cups. I loved that they had coffee and snacks out when we checked in. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Huge TV in the room, too.

    « Excellent Stay »

I needed a suite for my wife and I, with a separate room for our 22 yr. old daugther (sofa bed). I was hoping for a lower room rate, but this hotel seemed to have a fair price for this city. Accommodations were excellent and the included breakfast was above average. I would stay here again.

    « Clean and comfy »

We have stayed at a lot of Best Westerns, they are all very clean and the beds are always so comfortable, the grounds are very well maintained and the staff is always friendly. The front desk person was not feeling well the night that we checked in, but she still provided was very good service. I recommend them highly.

what a great hotel! New, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Will definitely be back the next time we head in this direction. Wish all hotels were as fresh as this one. Oh, and I LOVED the clean remote. That was a first!!

    « Stayed twice and didn't disappoint »

I stayed at this hotel twice, once on the way to Big Bend National Park and then again on the way back. It is very clean and very nice. I am happy to pay the price for a place when it is worth it. This hotel is conveniently located along I 10, has pool and quality breakfast. Staff was exceptionally nice at both check in and check out times.

    « Good except... »

Everything was great except the bed sheets. I hate to pick on such a first world problem, but those bed sheets are like sand paper. For the price paid, I never expected this to be an issue. Otherwise, very clean hotel and rooms. Nice and late check out time. Acceptable breakfast quality.

    « Nice and New »

Hotel is new. Great rooms with super comfortable beds, Big flat screen television with lots of channels. Very clean room. Good free breakfast with many choices. Staff helpful and very well trained, I was surprised such a small town would have such a really nice hotel. Good job everybody!

    « Trip through Texas »

Nice hotel and extremely clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The room (King bed) was large enough for the one night stay over. All of the furnishings were modern and in good repair. I personally thought the price was a bit high at $140 per night. But, I guess when one is on the road and in the middle of nowhere TX you have to pay the price.

« Agree with the great reviews »

Best in TX we've experienced so far, especially for such a small town. Very friendly and helpful, especially Mari who led me "behind the scenes" to get filtered water when I realized we didn't have any in the car. All new and very relaxing, didn't notice the freeway though we were on that side. After a long hike in and out of Carlsbad Caverns (elevators were broken) was looking forward to the hot spa, beautiful, but unfortunately the jets weren't good, very splashy and not directed well, but otherwise, great stay with comfortable bed, large TV and lots of Direct TV stations and good breakfast.

« Great Place to stay »

We were traveling from Los Angeles to Baton Rouge. We knew from previous trips that it was difficult to get a room in Fort Stockton, TX and that the hotels usually over inflated the prices. We were very surprised to find the Best Western compressive and less expensive by 10 dollars - doesn't seem like much, but the room we stayed in was much nicer than the other hotels we had stayed in on previous trips through Fort Stockton.

    « Modern property - very clean »

New property with pleasing finishes. Good breakfast. Our navigation system took us directly to the door but the other person checking in had difficulty. It is a little confusing to navigate the service road in the dark. Overall good experience and we would definitely stay again. We would not go to the steakhouse next door. Limited menu and not flexible. For example, wouldn't allow a substitute of green beans instead of all you could eat fries. That would be $2 extra - really. Wish we had more time to explore the area.

« Good stay and value »

We stayed here on a family trip to Fort Stockton. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had my niece and nephew with me and they immediately offered the rollaway bed. The hotel and our room were very clean. Everything was like new and updated. The price and breakfast was good too. The Wi-Fi was good except during peak hours (after 7pm) it would be a little slow and then freeze a few times. I would recommend getting a room away from the highway though. The last night we stayed there we got woken up at 4am by loud oilfield workers. I called front desk and the issue was immediately resolved. I will be staying here again next time I am in town visiting my family.

« Best Western, Fort Stockton, TX. »

Very clean. Very quiet. Friendly staff. Could never get on their free wi-fi while in our room but was able to in the lobby. Continental breakfast was included. We went to Stockton's Entertainment for pizza and beer, which is behind the hotel. It was very, very good.

    « Tiny rooms »

This is a brand new Best Western right on the service drive along Hwy 10 in Fort Stockton, Tx. The property and the facility were very neat and clean and check-in was quick and easy. The room itself was also clean and nicely furnished, but oh so small! I cannot remember the last time I stayed in a hotel room this tiny. We shimmied by each other all evening long, and come morning decided to have one of us stay on the bed while the other showered and prepared for the day - then we switched places. It was just too crowded and small to constantly be trying to move around each other. Add to that the fact that the bed sheets kept pulling off all four corners of the bed throughout the night which had us waking up every so often to try and tuck the sheets and bed pad back onto the mattress made for a really lousy nights sleep. The breakfast was average for this type of hotel, but we opted to skip it as there was only one choice of protein and that was fake scrambled eggs. Internet was fair but the television was plenty large enough to handle the very small size of the room. Not bad in a pinch, but for $154 a night, we think we'll look for something else next time we travel through.

« Excellent value and very quiet »

Just off the highway but exceptionally quiet. More like a hotel than a BW plus. I would definitely stay here again. New and clean with very helpful staff. Ask for a room facing east (away from the freeway).

« Very clean and updated »

I stayed here on my way from Tucson to Houston, just the perfect stop in the middle. There are several options in this town but I decided to go with the one with best reviews since I have never been in the area and it was a great choice. The hotel looks brand new, the rooms are very clean and updated, nice TV!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful, it is right by I-10 E , You probably want to grab a bite if you need to before getting into the hotel, there are a few options around, there are vending machines for soda and water in the first floor.

    « Clean and Comfortable »

This Best Western is a beautiful, clean, and comfortable hotel. The breakfast was delicious, and all staff were helpful and friendly. The manager Santosh was very accommodating when there was a mistake on our bill. I would recommend this hotel to travelers.

    « Nice and clean »

Definitely a plus experience. Comfortable and quiet. We just driving through town on our way to Austin. Turned out to be a very pleasant stop over. Breakfast was hot and decent. The restaurant across the way was a surprise and very good food.

« New, Friendly, Restful Night »

Needed a stop over as we traveled from San Antonio, Texas to Carlsbad, NM. Followed Trip Advisor reviews and was well pleased. Pretty new hotel, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, easy on and off I-10. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Was not able to take advantage of the indoor pool as it was being worked on.

Difficult to find using GPS. Way overpriced for what you get.. Other options available for less money. Hotel clerk had difficult time explaining how to find hotel over the phone when the GPS quit giving directions.

« Half way between Corpus Christi and NM family »

Brand New hotel! Clean, comfy with a great staff and a great breakfast. Did not use wifi this time but it is available and works great. Pool looks nice although we did not use that either. Best Western has a great rewards program and this hotel always takes care of its platinum members which we appreciate. Walked over to stocktons to watch the bowling, grab a beer and eat some pizza. Looks like a fun place to catch a movie, play putt putt or pool or arcade games. Pizza a typical frozen pizza so not so great but it worked for us. Convenient...my favorite place to stay in Ft Stockton

    « Clean and New »

Stayed here instead of the usual brand I go with as it had better ratings and was new. I was not disappointed. Nice interior lobby and rooms. The breakfast was adequate, with a selection of both hot and cold items. I thought the eggs and potatoes were better than average. My only complaint was trying to find the hotel at night time. Poor signage and I had to call twice for directions. If only someone had told me that the access road is actually off the freeway on ramp heading east.

« Best of the Best »

The best for last. On our way home from a 14 day vacation where we stayed at Best Westerns throughout the west. This was by far the best of them all. The check in was quick and easy. The staff was by far the most friendly that we came across and the breakfast was one of the best that we had at any of the Best Westerns that we stayed at during our trip.

« Clean and New-great design and layout in suite room »

Newer hotel, very nice and clean with beautiful rooms. Laundry was good also with front load machines. Hard to find in dark as it looks like you are going back on freeway. Business center off main lobby.
