"Not as good as representation"

Bath tub had horrible film all around inside, whirl pool jets not working. Room not as clean as showing on website. Okay if all you want to do is sleep in some what comfortable bed. Very disappointed even at great price. We'll see what breakfast offers in morning.

Staff are professional, efficient and helpful. Clean, flooring needs update and maintenance. Comfortable bed. Good hot breakfast. Some noise coming from the bathroom fan when turned on. Even coming the next occupied room. Woke us up when they turned on their bathroom fan.

My fiancé and I drove 4 1/2 hrs here for his grandmothers funeral and stayed for the first time at the surestay .when reviewing my bank act I noticed I was charged 3 times for one night so I went to the front desk and asked the owner politely about the charges I was told he “didn't care , take it up with my bank ,you don't know how this works ,and I'm not here for your entertainment “ and if I didn't like it we could get the f out !” He basically bucked or threatened if you will my fiancé the owner calls the police so I call police I'm hours from home here for a funeral getting kicked out at 9 am because I questioned the owner about him charging me triple the price ridiculous!!!!! Then he starts to record us . Just so unprofessional something must be done about this business. He also told me he didn't need my money . I'm a consumer and this is outright fraud and should be illegal thank God I had enough money set aside to get another room because we would have been sleeping and getting ready for a funeral in our car because the owner had all my money tied up hundreds!!!!

Now you know that is not what happened. I got a call from your boyfriend as you wished to extend, so I extended your stay and requested him that you need to sign the folio. so your first night was 5/22/2019 the second night was 5/23/2019 and your so called third night would have been 5/24/2019, that is what I was trying to explain however if you had a better approach to talking with people then I would not have called the police... p.s please rewind and think who used the f... word and the s... word and the this is a s... hotel first, at that point I told you that if the hotel was that s..t please check out. At that point you realized that oh I have my money on hold you are out of town with limited funds but you continued with you foul mouth....so I the owner decided , I don't need your business so check out or I will call the police....a piece of advice... speak to people how you like to be spoken too

My Husband and I drove up from Florida to visit family and attend an Army commissioning ceremony as well as a College graduation. We found this hotel on booking.com. It seemed like it would be a good pick since it was right off the interstate, included hot and cold breakfast, and was 37 minutes from our destination. We arrived thirty minutes till midnight since we had a seven hour drive up to the area. They put us in a king room that was for handicap. Furniture was outdated especially the bed. When you sat on it, it bounced like a trampoline. The bathroom was over sized for handicap access however the bathroom was dirty. Floor had dead bugs piled up in the corners. Dead bugs floating in the toilet. One of the towels hanging in the bathroom had something stiff dried up on it. There was only two towels in the room which is odd usually there is four in any hotel. It was so late we decided just to go to sleep instead of trying to change rooms. In the morning me being five foot nothing tried using the toilet and my feet could not touch the ground and my feet were left dangling over the floor like i was a toddler(at least a foot). Breakfast was okay, had your usual continental breakfast along with yogurt, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy. We checked out after breakfast and stayed at another hotel the next night. I won't be back but if your in the area with family and on a budget this hotel might be or might not be right for you!

"No frills"

The hotel is located in close proximity to the highway. The breakfast was decent, it had a combination of hot and cold options. The bed was comfortable and there were lots of pillows available. The walls are a bit thin (can hear the next room), and the WiFi was spotty at times. Overall would stay again, was a good value as my previous place was cancelled last minute.

After being refused an early check in at the Best Western Smithfield Inn and cancelling my reservation there, I tried the SureStay Inn in Fayetteville. They were happy to let me check in immediately. Not quite as nice a hotel, but more than adequate for my needs, and the service was excellent. Exterior doors, but the room was clean, as was the lobby and grounds, and it was half the cost of Smithfield. I will bypass the Smithfield Inn on my future trips in favor of SureStay Fayetteville.

"Family Reunion"

We drove up from NY for a family reunion. There was no place to sit and just have a good time we had to hangout on the balcony, Breakfast was over by 9:30 AM no coffee after the room was shabby looking, not enough Towels and the sink would clog when you brushed your teeth.

"Needs a major update"

I stayed one night and I definitely wouldn't stay longer. The room is in need of a major update. The carpet was shredding around the walls, the bed was uncomfortable and the room was filthy. I would NOT recommend this hotel at all.

Breakfast great, but room outlets did not work, called 5x and never got help. Bought extension cord to plug into the 1 outlet that did work.was told maintenance was coming never showed up even waited.

"Not a real Best Western"

I hate to give bad reviews but this place needs to be fully renovated. We were in a pet friendly room in the back, #142. The grout in the bathroom floors had a lot of black spots...looked like mold. The room smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room. The rugs are dingy and all the corners of the room have dirt in them. The tub has black marks. We stay at Best Western on a regular basis and this is not one! The staff is good.

Blankets had cigarette holes. Thought it was just one of the double beds but the other blanket had cigarette holes too. Wish I took a picture, but just wanted to go to sleep and get out of there ASAP.

To be honest, we booked this hotel because of the price: $53/night with a king bed. It had the other two items we look for: a decent breakfast and Internet access (wifi). We were not sorry we selected this. They even had a complimentary newspaper, and the orange juice tasted fine.

"Noisy but comfy"

The service at 2am was cheerful and helpful. The hotel lobby was nice and clean. Bed comfy. Fancy shower head, somewhat renovated. Bathroom a little small but good enough for overnight. The noise was horrible though. I had my dog with me and I and they heard every door slam, ice drop, car trunk close. There has to be better sound absorption if this was a “pet room”. I got zero sleep and had a 9 hour drive ahead of me. I slept through breakfast because 9-10 seemed to be quieter. The carpet could use some refreshment but I gave it a 3 due to the great service and comfy beds for the price.

"Amazing Hotel"

Wife and I are otr truck drivers and have stayed at many hotels ranging from $40-$150 nationwide. SureStay is definately among the best. Bertha does an excellent job of keeping the rooms spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, and have plenty of lights and outlets. The beds are very comfortable.

"Nasty rooms, but good coffee!"

ONLY the staff is worthy of praise. Especially whomever makes the coffee. Take air freshners, bug sprays, cleaning and hazmat supplies if you decide to stay here. You might be more comfortable and safe/clean sleeping in your car at a rest stop. Sucked to have to be in such a place when already stressed due to being there for a funeral.

The hotel was clean, nice, and peaceful, which was much needed after the days I had in Fayetteville. Definitely a place I would recommend. I was a little concerned after reading some previous bad reviews, but let me say, I was pleasantly surprised. And the staff was extremely nice as well. Always a nice thing at a hotel.

If you want ratings please do not ask for 200 character minimum write up. I do not have anything either positive or negative to say about this hotel. It is an easy off the highway. Breakfast had sausage meat available which is a good thing, it and the eff option tasted good.

Great find in the tour book from AAA. The staff was warm and welcoming and easily met my request regarding a ground level room that was pet friendly. There was a good amount of "green space" to walk my dog. I'll definitely be stopping again on my north/south and south/north trips.

"Drive home from Daytona 500 Trip"

This place was the best place we stayed on our trip home. Clean, neat, comfortable and up to date decor. Very best breakfast included in price. No restaurant but lovely breakfast area. Offered pancakes, waffles, eggs, cereal, toast, bagels, fruit and more. Loved staying there even if only for the night!

"Odor, mold and noise"

We ordered online non-smoking but got a stinking smoking room. On top it had mold on the ceiling due to water leakage. The replacement room was better but the connection door to the next room let all the noise through and the neighbors starting to get up with their kids around 6am on a Saturday. We just arrived at 1am and wanted to sleep in a little bit. Finally after 1 hour they went for breakfast and never returned. Then the cleaning lady woke us at 9:30am. We had no sign out to not disturb since their was no sign in the room. Some other smaller issues were a dirty towel. It had foreign hair and some spots. One of the comforters had burn hole and the main lamp in the room did not work. I am regular customer from Best Western and was always happy with the value I got for the price. They should not associate their name with this SureStay chain. I am planning to complain with them too. This review is just a start.

As you are aware, you booked a smoking room which in tern did not like so you wanted to checkout, we had no problems with that , you decided to shop elsewhere and were not successful so you come back and we move you to a non smoking 2 queens . then you complain about the whole world in the morning and your wife starts crying in the morning as a refund is not given, just so you know in life if you stay ...you pay. "Don't Expect Best Western"

We stopped after a long day on the road, figured Best Western lending their name to this place would mean quality, and the price was right for just a few hours sleep. Surprise! Front desk staff were very courteous (desk staff were a saving grace). However, there our experience turned for the worse. The room is severely dated - think swirled stucco walls, mustard yellow paint that needed a good cleaning/repaint, mystery powder in the corner of the room on the baseboard/light plug/carpet, and the tile floor by the sink and the bathroom felt like they were mopped with Kool Aid (think human size glue trap). The bed felt like a trampoline, we were worried to walk on the carpets or eat breakfast after seeing the job housekeeping did in the room. Will avoid this chain in the future, the Best Western name was a false beacon.

"Overnight Business Trip"

The location of the hotel was just off the freeway with plenty of nearby gas stations and eateries. The rooms were a bit dated but clean, the lobby was welcoming along with the staff we did see. The breakfast was not uo to standards compared to other Best Westerns. Overall well worth the price.

we were looking for a pet friendly hotel and picked this one for an overnight. It was a pleasant suprise except for the 15 pet fee. staff was courteous and helpful, breakfast in the am was excellent room was clean and very comfortable for an older motel

The staff is friendly, the room is clean the highway is right there and .Just in case you are hungry bangles is next door. All the amenities I associate with be hotels from the Best Western chains .Great breakfasts as usual. S

Heating unit doesn't work properly. Curtain hubbers over ac/ heat unit as it blows.Dirty bathroom around the toilet area. Unsecured property looked door was kicked in Forcibly. Lobby looks nice but that's about it. Stay away from room 123.

The front desk worker was pleasant but the room needed some nicer furniture and the room should of been a little cleaners. The cleaning department needs to take a little longer and clean from corner to corner in the rooms and under the beds, also cleaning of the furniture would be nice.

I stayed in room 111 last Thursday night. The room was dirty and I woke up with bites all over my body. Neck, arms, legs and back covered in bites. I will not be staying there again. The room looked like it was in need of repair. I have pictures of all the bites that I received.

We stayed here for one night on our way south. Very convenient for off and on I 95. Breakfast delicious. Needs a bigger outdoor sign. Property was in good condition. Allows pets so ask to be assigned a room away from barking dogs, they changed our room as soon as we called the front desk to ask for the change, even brought the new key to us and helped with directions.

I travel allot and over the past 12 years I've stayed at many hotels. Over the past year we discovered Best Western. The Hotels rooms are clean and comfortable and the price is right. Never had a single problem with them. We were in Fayetteville, NC. and stayed at the SureStay Plus Hotel on Cedar Creek RD. right off of Rt. 95. Being in a rush to get back home to Florida, not knowing I had left my Laptop at the hotel. Half way home and we get a call from Michelle at the Front Desk telling me that the cleaning lady had found it and turned it in to her. I had allot of important work on the laptop and to lose it would have cost me big time. I spoke to the Manager, Rocky Naik and he went out of his way to bring my Laptop to the local UPS store and mailed it back to me. Now if that isn't service, I don't know what is. I can not thank them enough for what they did. From here on out I will go out of my way to stay at a Best Western, SureStay Plus Hotel when ever we travel. Thank you Rocky, Michelle and the unnamed Cleaning Lady.

Been there twice in last 6 mos. Both times I received about many insect bites, many appearing after I checked out in the AM. Motel is nice w good hot breakfast, but I would never go back unless I had some assurance that they have resolved this insect problem. Also had some people (guests or staff?) talking loudly in the parking lot outside my door at 4 AM.

There was some faults, such as the heat not working and the Internet wasn't that great. The bed was very firm. Other than those small inconveniences I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was clean and I had a smoking room but when you walked it it smelled clean and you would have never guessed it was a smoking room.

Greeted by a friendly night receptionist. Room had some water damage, a stain on carpet, and a broken shower control. Luckily it was stuck on lukewarm. The duvet covers both had fresh dirt. The housekeeper should have/must have seen that. TV had a better HD picture than my own. The remote was a buttonless clean variety. Bed comfortable. Breakfast adequate. Priced fair. 3.5 rounded up

All fairness the front desk representive was good in trying to accommodate my family. This was just for a stay over for the night .We book two separate rooms, my daughter had to Clorox the sink bathroom because of blood being on the sink, her bed had stains. My room you couldn't sit on any chairs because of the filth. But the icing was when we turn the water on in the sink it all drained thru the pipes and flooded the floor. We went down the the front desk and came in thru the side door that was suppose to be locked with only key entrance it was suppose to be. Ok we got another room and told to call from room if it was ok. I went to room to call back Down the phone was not working. At this point we quickly decided to find another place for the night. The woman at the front desk acquiesce and refunded us. Will never state here and wouldn't reccomend it to anyone.

I am not sure about the negative reviews. I stayed there recently, and had a very nice experience. My room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom was large, modern, and clean, with sufficient supplies (I was alone) for me. The breakfast was adequate, with pancakes, waffles, and the other usual fare. The breakfast area was clean and staffed for refills. All in all, especially for the price paid, my one-night stay was very pleasant.

Run away and don't look back. Had to clean my own bathroom, complete with bloodstains, also received complimentary bodily fluid stains on the headboards. Realizing that I could not let my child or my parents sleep in such filth, we checked right out. Seeing the police canvassing the place, somehow made me feel more uncomfortable. The stairs were so treacherous (I tripped a few times), a small child can fall thru them and people were walking from outside the hotel premises to use its outdoor washer&dryer. I'm only giving a star, because the kind front desk lady was very understanding when we checked out after a couple of hours looking for another place to stay. PS - Bojangles next door was delicious!

We traveled from Canada down to Orlando and back, and stopped here for 1 night along the way. It was a very late check in, and early check out - but the price was great, the location was great, the buffet breakfast was delicious and appreciated - and the most noticed thing was how happy and friendly ALL staff was from every encounter. The housekeeping in the morning, the breakfast staff and both encounters at the desk were phenomenal and helpful. The room is not a 5 star hotel, but we were comfortable and it was (BY FAR) cleaner than several other hotels that we stayed at over the 12 day roadtrip. We would DEFINITELY stay here again, no question! (Also - the travel book at the stops from state-state had a coupon, which made an already affordable room even MORE affordable.) I can't believe this place has some 1 star reviews.. I've stayed at some places that deserve 1 star, and this is truly NOT one of them.

The check in was good. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. The rooms were not the best, but not the worst I have seen. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were way too thick. The curtains did not completely cover the window and let in a lot of light. The maid service was mediocre. They only brought one clean towel and didn't make the beds or empty the trash. The breakfast was good and breakfast staff were very friendly. I doubt I'll stay here again.

I stayed here with my 100 lb. lab during the hurricane. I only booked for 2 nights but was not able to get back to Wilmington until 9 days later. During my stay, Rocky was juggling many guests, hundreds of first responders, pets, power outages, area evacuees, downed systems...He worked with each of us to extend our stays, accommodate our needs and make us as comfortable as possible, given the circumstances. He did this all with a patient, kind and concerned attitude for each person. I would not stay here for a luxury vacation but, if you are passing through, it is clean, convenient and comfortable - good value for the price. It is the owner, his family and the staff that make this place special.

The beds were okay but a few problems of concern... the smoke detector was hanging off the wall, there was a large area of wet carpet around the carpet and the bathroom toilet seat was a hazard, almost falling off work each use- was missing some screws/ bolts ( should be fixed ASAP)... breakfast buffet was pretty good

We stayed here in June and were very favorably impressed. This property is clean, crisp, freshly painted, and nicely furnished. Our room had a spacious sitting area with freshly cleaned upholstery, a large sleeping area, and a nice bath area. Nightly rate was much less than we expected for a room of this quality. We will be sure to stay here when in the area. STAY HERE, you'll be glad you did!

Just needed a quick place to stop for the night. I looked online while my husband was driving and found this place. Right price and everything we wanted. Very nicehotel with a nice pool which was perfect for our kids to cool off in before going to bed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The lady who was responsible for filling everything made sure the area was clean and well stocked without everything getting cold. Overall a very nice experience and great staff!

We stayed for one night on our way north for vacation. We arrived around 10:30 pm and the front sliding doors were locked. My husband banged in the doors until someone opened them. Our room seemed clean. It was non-smoking but smelled of old smoke. Breakfast was small, but included hot waffles, cold biscuits, gravy, sausage and (powdered?) eggs. Cereal, bagels, mini muffins and juice also. Fine for a quick stop overnight. We didn't use the pool.

Spent one night at the Sure Stay hotel in Fayetteville N.C. and thoroughly enjoyed it . We were traveling with our terrier and were pleased we got a ground floor pet friendly room. Large spacious room renovated fairly recently with big bathroom and comfortable beds. Room was slightly stuffy when we first entered but after running the A.C. for 10 minutes or so it cleared. Hotel is an older exterior corridor building in good shape with beautiful lobby and breakfast area. Wonderful breakfast spread with hot and cold offerings. Well lit parking lots and like parking right outside our door.No road noise noted or it was covered by the A.C. unit sound. Would definitely stay at the hotel again.

The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. They have a pancake machine that pushes out fresh, home made pancakes-delicious. But the rooms are not close to being a Best Western Plus hotel. We had 2 different rooms, both had leaks from the bathroom. The leak in the second room wasn't discovered until we were about to go to bed and the carpet was all wet and the corking around the sink was coming off. The air conditioner was so loud it woke us up every time it turned on. The manager said he would check the leaks and maybe they are fixed now but if you are a light sleeper, the air conditioner will definitely keep you awake.

We enjoy our stay every time we're in town.. They have the friendliest staff and management in the surrounding area, I will argue this any day, the rooms are very spacious and the king beds are soo comfortable.. the breakfast they serve in the morning is to die for.. sausage, eggs, biscuit and gravy, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, grits, so much more. Seriously... for the price, the service, the comfort, and if you love food like me, the breakfast why would you even stay anywhere else? I love this hotel!

First time staying at a Surestay ( by best western ) had booked a non-smoking room . at check in clerk gave us a smoking room didn't know till at room. called asking for different room was given a hard time telling us it was what we asked for. finally get non smoking room still smelled poorly . should have left when she told us this was a rodeway before but we needed to room for the night. don't know if all surestay are like this but it will be a long time before a book another.

I stayed for 2 night, the lady who checked me in , i believe her name is Kecia, was absolutely wonderful and friendly. Breakfast included which i thought was a pretty nice one considering the fact that it was free! Biscuits, gravey, pancake, scrambled egg, small muffins and cereal. The location was good, like 4 miles away from downtown Overall had a great stay :)

We were there for 3 hours and had to call the office twice about the EXTREMELY loud music in the room on the second floor above us(we even overlooked the smell of the room). After the second time the music got louder, at this point my wife who just drove 8 hours was furious and just wanted to leave. Because they have no quiet hour and we were there for 3 hours they refused to give us a refund. You could not pay me to stay at this hotel. I had to put a rating of one, because it would not submit otherwise

I booked this hotel because of the Best Western brand but we come away disappointed especially comparing to our prior experience with different Best Western hotels in the country. The room and the common facilities look old, tired and dirty, except maybe the front lobby which is okay. You can tell the room is just run down and things are broken without the proper maintenance. We have a hard time getting a good night sleep because the mattresses are not merely being soft but they are actually sagging. They should be replaced long ago. Later on I realized the property was a Rodeway Inn before and Best Western must have bought and rebranded it, but unfortunately it didn't bring it up to Best Western standard and service level.

Convenient stop right off freeway. The room was clean. One of our pillowcases had a rip in it. The towels were a step up from normal hotel towels. The bed was comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. The breakfast was great if you wanted pancakes, waffles, biscuits but lacked healthier options such as boiled eggs, fruit. Also they had an outdoor pool but no hot tub. The hotel was ok for a one night stay.

We found this place through the coupon books at the welcome center. The Sunday Night Price special was excellent. Staff was friendly. We found the layout of the room much to our satisfaction. In addition to the king size bed, there was a couch set aside like a separate sitting room. There was also a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. Breakfast in the morning was delightful. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and the sausage was tasty. I would have liked to try out the pancake maker but I couldn't eat that much! I highly recommend this motel!

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the SureStay Plus Hotel in Fayetteville, North Carolina and it was there that I encountered an individual who deserves much credit for the hard work that she performs daily at the breakfast nook. Her name is Doris and she prepares the food served at breakfast. She works hard preparing the hot breakfast items, making sure that there is a sufficient amount of hot food available to accommodate all of the guests. The hot breakfast is one of the main reasons why I decided to stay at this SureStay Plus Hotel in Fayetteville, North Carolina. It is a step above the rest.

This place has gone from Comfort Inn to Rodeway Inn to Sure Stay. How it got the Surestay name I have no idea, because the place was even to horrible for a Rodeway. The paint job is bad the furniture is worse and their are roaches everywhere.

I so wanted to like this hotel — the reviews I read on TripAdvisor were encouraging and the nightly rate was definitely not discouraging — however reviews are subjective and I realize my standards are somewhat higher than the people who provided reviews. My first clue should have been the couple who was at the front desk when I arrived requesting a refund. They had just checked in and were in the process of checking out. The woman when asked by me, shared that there room had an “odd” odor. She was also uncomfortable with exterior door entrances. First, the good news. The lobby area was clean and updated. The girl at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. The bad news...the room I was assigned although it appeared to be clean on first inspection was in need of work - see photos. The room was also missing a microwave but in fairness the front desk was not aware - apparently things go “missing” from the rooms that management often isn't told about. This is a pet-friendly hotel which are becoming more prevalent along the I-95 corridor. Which is a good thing because I'll need to find a different one for my next stay in Fayetteville.

This is NOT A PLUS HOTEL. It is no better than a basic Days In motel. Our bathroom was unsanitary, our check in irritating, the first room full of smoke smell, the beds and pillows cheap and only decent enough for one quick night. Breakfast wasn't terrible, though there were no healthy options- no fruit at all, no plain cereal. Just powered eggs, nitrate full sausage, and sugar filled breads and pastries. At least being under booked kept it quiet. I contacted SureStay with the following and even after our complaints and disgust, all they did was offer us 20% off our next stay. We replied that in no way will we be coming back in its current condition. We stay in hotels at least 70x a year. Letter as follows: “My main issue is how we were treated, and the initial refusal of the upgrade to the king sized bed upon our arrival (we are Platinum members of Best Western). As we were coming from out of state, I called two hours ahead to secure the king bed with your staff member Kecia -as we are allotted an upgrade if they are available. Despite the multitude of king beds available online through the Best Western site, she told me that she only had a double queen vacant. I told her that we have a two year old that sleeps with us, though she responded that she had no kings available. After many hours in the car, and arriving late evening, we were really put off upon finding that the first room (228) we were issued was inundated with the smell of smoke. It was freezing and wet out, and after attempting to unload ourselves into the room, I had to run across the parking lot to be issued another room. I was met with very little compassion, though given another key quickly - to a king sized room. Why was this not offered earlier on? The hotel was very under-booked and had many a room open... why refuse us? While this room (252) was more suitable, we found that the bathroom was unclean and unkempt, and this morning, when we were retrieving our raw milk out of the refrigerator, that the unit was out of order. Everything we put in it last night was warm and off, ending up in the trash. I called up your staff in complaint this morning... they suggested I contact a manager. I have attached photos from the bathroom. I do hope that your hotel can compensate my family in some way for the duress. We are accustomed to a Best Western Plus hotel being of a higher standard.

Love all the upgrades done in the rooms and on the property. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Matt was very friendly and helpful as he done breakfast and kept the breakfast bar clean and stocked. Breakfast was delicious as new things had been added since my last stay here. Its always a pleasant stay.

This has to be the best value in Fayetteville. Most motels, if you have a coupon, will limit you to one night. But Rocky is fantastic. He honored six nights for me! He is a very, friendly understanding owner/manager. The desk clerks are very helpful; especially Zabrina (I hope I am spelling her name right.) She shows a genuine concern for her guests and was very helpful. The rooms are quiet, clean and large. There is standard, basic cable TV. The rooms also come with a free and delicious hot breakfast (6-9) that includes biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, oatmeal, and grits. The fact that I stayed here six nights shows how fantastic the StaySure is!

Yolanda was a great help. I love her customer service skills, she is the best worker there that I have seen yet. It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel. Yolanda made sure we had clean bedding and clean towlels and wash clothes.

Since we had our four legged friend with us, we requested a dog friendly room. The room(134) seemed clean and adequate. The wife and I went out to eat something and within 15 minutes, the daughter called, indicating that she had bug itches all over her upper torso; either fleas or bed bugs. We complained to the front desk(the daughter went and showed the employee all of the bites) and we were provided room 146, which was ok. The issue I have is that although, the person at the front desk when we arrived was very friendly, by the time we complained, it was a different employee. Neither the daughter, nor I when I came back to the hotel offered an apology for the issue; just a "here is another room". The employee in the morning during checkout was much more friendlier and asked me what I think could have been the problem. Other than that, the automatic pancake maker they have makes pancakes about 2-3" in diameter, kind of small. You would need to wait to make about 10-20 for the equivalent of two pancakes. Don't think we'll stay there again.

Our stay was just an overnight on an extended trip. Having a medical problem, we asked for help with luggage at checkin and checkout. They graciously came to our aid and were reluctant to take a tip for the service. The building seemed to be a little tired in places but was clean and provided a satisfactory experience.

First time we have stayed at a Surestay , and we were impressed by the facility. Normally we are loyal to Bestwestern an d we have found this budget end of bestwestern to be up to all BW standards. Although smaller and less stylish the room itself was more than adequate, clean and beds were quite comfortable. Breakfast offered was better than most BW pluses, Check in person was very pleasant and efficient, lobby was quite welcoming with a fireplace warmong the area on a very cold day in Fayetteville N.C. . We will definitely stay here again and will look for Surestays in the future.

Great breakfast- friendly staff.Beds were very comfortable with easy to use heaters- We were on the ground floor which was nice for loading and unloading the car. First time that we have stayed at this hotel but we have it marked for future reference.

This is a simple pleasure for travelers. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman. Who was pleasant, informative, and helpful. It was a family reunion trip for us and a quiet and comfortable room was much appreciated. The breakfast was very good. The breakfast bar was accessible all day for tea and coffee. We have been staying at this motel in Fayetteville for several years and just love it. I like all the recent upgrades. It is our half way stop between West Palm and New York. The breakfast buffet is so good we often skip lunch that day. The staff is friendly and always eager to help.

We were returning to Florida from Pennsylvania, after attending a funeral. It was a long day and we had a coupon for this hotel at $49.00 This hotel should be rated a 4 star hotel. The rooms were outstanding everything was great. The beds were outstanding and rooms were spotless which is almost a never in the hotel industry. The staff was very friendly, and this was not a put on act. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING, the eggs were great even though they were reconstituted, the breakfast area was very clean. Unlike a lot of hotels. There were a few people having breakfast and they all were saying how great the hotel was. Also because of the hotels location it was really quite. No traffic noise from interstate Thank you staff for making our overnight stay outstanding. If you are in the area and need a hotel to stay at this is the one.

I got to exit 49 after a bit over 11 hours of driving. I had seen the rates for all the hotels, and they seemed a little bit high. This one was one of the cheapest, so it was only a matter of reconciling quality and cost. They didnt disappoint. The owner did the check in. He gave me a room on the far end so a long walk , but I am guessing that he was giving one of his better rooms. The room was good size and clean. The furniture was not new but it was in good condition. The bathroom was fine. And in the morning, before the next 5 hour drive, I had a decent breakfast... Considering the big brands' high rates, you might want to check this out if you are on a budget.

I checked in with a very nice gentleman, who in fact was the owner. He stated that they were updating the place, and my room must have been one of them. It was very clean and comfortable. It was pretty spacious, with a small "living area" as well as the regular bedroom part. The bath was clean and modern. The breakfast the next day was a pleasant surprise, with a nice selection in a clean area. I would stay again when in the area. The free wifi was fine also.

"Worst Best Western property"

We have stayed in Best Western hotels all over the country and this place was the worst we have ever stayed in.Tiny rooms, dreary, dark bathrooms, no bedside lamp, ice machine near our room did not work, breakfast was very low quality. Biscuits were cold in the center, sausages were cut up in small pieces, cheap paper plates, it was awful. The lobby staff were very unfriendly and they wanted a tip! Last week's newspaper in lobby

My husband and I stopped here for the night on the way to Outer Banks for an anniversary trip.Reasonable rates,clean room,good hot breakfast,and the desk clerk was very helpful.My tablet wouldn't pull up directions,he printed some off for us to use for the remainder of our trip.Would recommend this to other travelers.

"Huge disappointment"

Hospitality. That's the business right? The desk clerk (one never knows if it is the owner) did that trick some hotels are doing. If you want to check in early, there's an upcharge. Outrageous. I'll never stop screaming it. This guy was really over the top. He was happy to check us in early for the extra fee but when we asked to see a room (to see if the place was worth it to us to wait until exactly 3pm), he said no rooms were ready. !!!!!! So, we can't say if the place is nice, the breakfast tasty, the beds comfy... because we never got past the lobby. We cancelled and found a lovely Econolodge in Selma, just up I95. There, we were treated warmly and the room was exceptional. If you can, go 40 minutes further north and be treated right (for less money).

Mr. Jeff Meyer's hospility is a business just like where ever you might work (they make money from their customers for the service they provid), some hotels has a charge and some do not, we do!, as we are a budge property which offers way more than some on our exit like renovated rooms, 42" tv's, free Wi-Fi, with a free "hot" breakfast. It's a shame that you missed out because turning up 10.30 am 'ish expecting a room on a budget rate which you had. And not expected paying an early checking fee. For someone who did not even stay at our property and writing a comment about, it shows how truly cheap you are!

The price was great at $60. It is right off I-95 and you can walk over to Cracker Barrel for dinner. The listing said rooms had hairdryers but ours did not and the desk attendant had no hairdryers. The pool is nice (very warm after a summer day) and there are clean towels in a bin on the pool deck. The rooms have cute decor and there is a mini-fridge and microwave. Bathrooms have not been renovated in a while. There's no elevator to the second level and the stairway in the middle was unusable - covered in CAUTION tape and no railings. Rooms smelled fine and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast is included and was the usual carbs and sweets. They did have tea and Fox News on the tv. Wifi is free but unsecured.

Enjoyed my stay once again!! Always very clean rooms at an affordable price!! Can't beat the breakfast or the staff!! Everything and everyone is super nice!! Rooms have been painted and furniture updated and very nice variety for breakfast. I would recommend anyone needing a place to stay to stay here!!

checked in late night and checked out right after we saw 4 cockroaches in the room.I wont recommend this hotel to anyone.The location is great for travelers but not clean,they should contact the pest control and clean the hotel first.
