"Poor example of a Best Western PLUS"
Parking at least 100' from the front door, the floors were uneven on 2nd, & 3rd floors in the rooms and in the lobby. They are doing renovations. On going for 2 - 3 years. Workmanship poor. 1/2 an receptacle covered by a countertop, 2 outlet covers in 2 different rooms had pieces missing from being broken, dents in walls likely from people hitting the walls with the log gage carts and none of the toilets in 3 different rooms were fastened to the floor. A poor representation for a Best Western PLUS hotel. Very disappointed. Will not be back. Tanisha (spelling ?) was the only plus I can think of.
"Passing through Chattanooga"
Nice remodel in progress. Very convenient location for easy access to the freeways and the city. Our room was comfortable and newly decorated/furnished. Outdoor pool only. The lobby area is currently being remodeled so more than a “grab and go” breakfast can be offered. Friendly staff at check in and check out.
"Great stopping point"
This BW is conveniently located right off the highway. It is currently being renovated, but is fully functional. The continental breakfast was great! Our room was clean and comfortable, but did need some updating, which they are probably planning with the renovations (I hope so). I would stay here again. In fact, we're going to try to make it our stopping point again on our way home.
"Slowly Improving..."
The Best Western Plus Arbour Inn & Suites has been under renovation for over a year. The room we had was renovated and was quite comfortable...and spacious. We were a little surprised at how high the beds were. My 5' wife had to pile pillows up beside the bed to help her crawl in. The hotel still has the grab & go breakfast rather than the usual BW breakfast dining area. But that being said, this is probably the most complete grab & go we have seen the the items were of good quality.
"Great place to stay, TRUST Me !"
I try to be honest in my reviews because I rely on them when traveling. I trust TripAdvisor because the reviews are from actual people who stay at these hotels. #1 concern for me is Safety... This hotel is located in a safe and quiet community. It is easily accessible to/from I-75 which is very convenient for travelers. I purchased gas down the street which was the cheapest I had found in 1100 miles. Food & supplies were close by also in safe neighborhoods. When I booked the hotel through BW direct, I advised them we has a service animal. Upon arrival we had no problems or concerns with that issue considering the hotel has a no pets allowed policy. The girl at the front desk was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Our checkout was also seamless. The breakfast was pretty much usual hotel travel food but surprisingly they did may it available to take it with us because we were travelers wanting to hit the road. About 150 miles south, my wife realized she had left an expensive diamond necklace on the nightstand. We called and spoke to Ray who dropped everything and went and retrieved it from our room. He gave us the telephone number to a local UPS store who is scheduled to pick it up and send it to us. I guess this has happened more than once. Pure honesty which we greatly appreciate and it speaks volumes for this hotel. Please consider that when looking for a safe room for the night. The cost for the room was under $99 per night as a BW rewards member. Now you ask why only a 4 star rating. Again just being honest... The room was clean and quiet and I saw no real flaws except minor adjustment needing to be made because they are in the process of a total remodel of the facilities. Yes they are remodeling, but nothing was in our way or complicated our stay in any way. The fact that they were in the process of updating the facility is the ONLY reason it's a 4 star rating instead of a 5. I do recommend this hotel and I definitely will stay here again. Thank you to the staff for a safe and comfortable stay.
"BE AWARE-"
WARNING- The pictures online DO NOT reflect the actual hotel. The hotel is NOT 100% renovated. The heating and air system is not updated. The doors in the and around the hotel are not updated. It appears that the hotel received COVID money and decided to slap some paint on the walls along with on the doors and trim. The paint job was awful. The pillows smelled like hair oil and the bathroom was not clean. All of this was brought to the attention of the front desk, who could care less. I did call the next morning and requested to speak with the manager, which was denied. The CSR are less than helpful and not personable at all. The hotel refuses to give a refund. I would recommend staying else where.
Robert Cohen, Sales at Best Western Plus Arbour Inn & Suites, responded to this review
The pictures online are actual pictures of the hotel. The heating and air system works as supposed to. All entrances inc doors have been updated. The guest stayed in his room for almost an hour and used both beds and the bathroom in hotel. We have pictures as evidence. We offered the guest another room and the guest declined. Since the guest stayed and used the room, we cannot issue refund.
"Fairly clean room for price"
A star off for air freshener room smell We were in king bed room. The beds are tall, have to climb into. Basic furniture, but they had the snake lights and plugs by the bed, which I like. Air freshener smell when we came in, so they were trying to cover the smell of last guests. Lobby area is a mess, under construction. Breakfast was grab and go. No coffee urn, only a Kerig machine that was a pain to use with zero counter space. No trays, just small bag to put your things in, so hard to bring back yo room to eat. Since this was first stop on a long trip I first saw this setup as a negative, but changed my mind after some other BW and Choice stays. Meat biscuits were nice microwaved, juice was in bottles, reg size yogurts, cereal in individual boxes, and individually wrapped Danish. Better than some.
"Clean comfortable hotel"
This is the second time we have stayed here and although it is in the middle of a remodel the room we stayed in was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to restaurants and the interstate.
"Bait and switch"
Awful stay. It would have been wonderful to know there was a race track right behind the hotel it was incredibly loud. The whole hotel is being renovated and I think it has a lot of potential. I do hope the room we were in was partially renovated. The pictures are of fully finished rooms and we were expecting a room that looked like the picture. Still needs a lot of work. The sofa bed was already stained and we had to ask 3 times for sheets and a pillow. Never got a blanket. Daughter was cold at night and it's not a queen size sofa bed. Night receptionist was very rude, made sure we knew asking for bedding was a hassle for her. Morning staff great, breakfast was a nice surprise. Better than just a continental breakfast. We won't be staying here again the race track was enough to drive us away. The hotel needs to do a better job of conveying the state of the hotel rooms.
ARBOUR INN PLUS, General Manager at Best Western Plus Arbour Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for the review. We apologize for your poor experience at the hotel. We will use your comments to improve our guests' time at the hotel.
"Great location"
Hotel is under renovation. Complementary breakfast was grab and go only. There are race tracks with in a half mile from hotel and the weekend I stayed it was noisy outside and you could hear it in the room
"Just don't"
Oddly designed hotel. You enter on the second floor. Our room was located on the first, in the back. This eliminates using a cart to carry luggage. The hotel is undergoing renovation, poorly. The room: - the bathroom smelled as if someone had just “used” it. - there was a hole in the wall with tissue stuffed in it - their attempt at remodeling was poorly done; ripples in the wall, caulking had gaps. The sink was not supported well - the hotel is located 7 miles from a race track. The cars sounded like they were outside our window. - no signage where elevators or ice machine is located - breakfast is grab and go out of a dorm fridge
REGINALD RAY, Guest Services / Front Office at Best Western Plus Arbour Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for taking the time to review our property. I apologize for the poor experience you had at the hotel. We will use your comments to improve the hotel.
"Spacious"
I love the suites there just oh so big. I got the tool poolside too. Very nice. The jacuzzi tub was a nice bonus to. For me and her. Plus the two Samsung smart tvs. Gotta love that. Oh and beds wow is all I gotta say
"A number of small problems add up to disappointing stay."
Not so good. Problems ranged from broken elevator at one end of hotel to a sticky door on one of two rooms and a wobbly (new) desk that looked like it would topple over. Front desk clerk was friendly but slow and set our key to expire after one day when we were here two days. On the positives, the grab and go breakfast was fine, the price was lower than neighboring hotels and it was quiet (deserted?). And room was renovated. With lots of food plugs and reading lights. But the closet had no hangers. There was a weird blinking light on phone. And the lighting was dim. Not quite a 3.
"Don't pick this hotel"
Our experience at this hotel was terrible: extremely high beds, phone did not work, bathroom exhaust fan did not work, baseboard coming off wall, food was all paper bag items though they had a microwave, and they do not tell you but you have to ask to get clean towels or get the room cleaned. We've been using Best Western hotels for many years and this was way off the mark for them. The conference room was being remodeled but that did not bother us.
REGINALD RAY, Guest Services / Front Office at Best Western Plus Arbour Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We thank you for the review. We know your time is valuable. We apologize for your experience. We are working to complete the details of our renovation. We hope you will give us a try in the future.
"Clean, Comfortable, Convenient to the seminal I was attending"
The room was clean and comfortable. Our stay was a good value and the motel was conveniently located to the seminar and business meeting I was attending. We got lost a couple times because of weak signage and graphics.
"Always a good stay!"
We've been staying at the Best Western Plus Arbour Inn & Suited for a number of years. It's always a pleasant stay. Since it's been remodeled, it's only gotten better. The suites are very nice and roomy.
"Clean and comfortable."
Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was ready and we didn't have to wait to check in. The room was stocked with all the things you'd need to get a good nights rest and a shower in the morning. The grab and go breakfast was good. It consisted of Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, packaged danishes, fresh fruit, assorted cereals, donuts, coffee, juices, assorted non dairy milks and the microwave was easy to use for the sandwiches. Despite the entire first floor being under construction our stay was short but felt clean and comfortable.

"Under Construction, But Our Stay Was Nice"
This is an older hotel undergoing a remodel. Our room was mostly remodeled - new floor, paint, some furniture. It still had the old light switches and funky jet tub. I found the hotel clean and a nice place to stay for the night. I booked before I read the bad reviews due to the construction. I found the hotel very doable. The halls and room was clean and upgraded. The grab and go breakfast had a large variety for all tastes. The staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel is not as nice as a lot of Best Western Plus hotels, but definitely wasn't the worst.

"Do not stay here"
We stayed there for a night as we were driving towards St Louis, MO. The hotel was amid construction. There were entire sections that were blocked out due to the repairs. Pool and Gym were closed. It had happened to us before, being on a hotel while they do repairs and it has not been a bad experience at all, until now, so we didn't think much of it. First thing we noticed the rug was frumpy all over public places. When we got to the room it was a complete disaster. The room shouldn't have been rented. The carpet was gross and bumpy making this a hazard. The couch had big stains on it. The bath was disgusting. The towels were tiny and rough. They should close this hotel while the repairs are complete. Don't spend your money here.

"Worst motel stay ever!"
Motel was under renovation and smelled. Stained furniture and carpets which were buckled up. The pool should have been renamed CessPool. Exterior door near our room did not lock. Room door lock were out dated and difficult to use. I have had $40. motel rooms that were nicer!

"Disgusting unsafe hotel"
Are you nostalgic for the feel of a 1970s roadside motor lodge? Are you researching the effects of toxic mold? This is the place for you! Room was filthy, carpet disgusting, mold in every room, toilet didn't work, the unsecured entry door was behind a dumpster in a poorly lit area. When I reported the toilet not working I was given a plunger and just told "you'll need to use it for every flush". There are several other hotel choices I'm the area, do yourself a favor and pick one of those.

"Hello 1985."
Just saying that the hotel is very run down and in need of a overhaul. Fussy Locks, limited USB and electrical outlets. Sticky flat old carpet. The room was not dirty but the décor made it dingy. I will go closer into town and pay a bit more next time.

We've stayed at the Best Western Plus Arbour Inn & Suites many times. It's always a great stay. Very convenient to the antique shops we like to visit. The suite is very big and the bed was very comfortable.

"Worst Western"
When you are 800 miles from home and check into a hotel late a night, your options are minimal. I was thrilled that they had a suit with a fold out for myself, wife and teenage son. However, my suit was not sweet. Upon entering the facility the hall carpet was old and dirty, the elevator to my floor was stained, rattily, and the chrome had not been wiped clean in some time. The expectation for my room was beginning to crumble. In my suit I was greeted with old carpet that was loosened from the floor and a tripping hazard. It had only been spot vacuumed and the corners of the room were filthy with visible dirt. The walls had writing on them, various holes and stains. One such hole appeared to have been made with a small caliber hand, all of which were dimly lit from lighting that either did not work, or old bulbs with holes in the lamp shades. I could not tell if the bathroom counter was dirty or just yellowed with age, so I chose not to trust it. The bathroom walls had visible stains, similar to the blood stain my son found on his towel. The chrome fixtures in the bathroom were rusted to the point of breaking down the metal, the paint bubbled away and rotting. The linens on the bed were old and stained, the white sheets a dirty brown There was no linens on or in the closet for the fold out sofa that revealed food crumbs in the sofa along with an old stained mattress. Where as it was not very hot upon our arrival, I cranked the aC down in hope to cool the room. However, it took most of the night to get the room to a comfortable temperature. Hotels rated this room as "Good" The name says "Best Western." However, for me and my family, it was the "Worst Western."

"Don't stray there until their renovations are finished!"
We chose this hotel because it had a great rate and it was convenient to I-75.We were aware that they were undergoing remodeling, so be prepared to get what you pay for. The room was clean but old (I feel sorry for housekeeping trying to keep something that old clean.) The to-go breakfast was adequate. This may be a fine hotel when they are done with the remodeling, but I gave it only 3 stars for now. And that's being generous because the employees were helpful and cheerful.

"Great place to stay"
Hotel is currently being renovated, but at no time did that interfere with the quality of the stay. The staff is very accommodating and the rooms are very clean and the beds are more comfortable than many higher priced hotels. Breakfast is a grab and go so not very enticing but adaquate.

I usually love this hotel for there big rooms and the living room and bed room seperate. Inside the bedroom you will find the most comfy beds . But my favorite part is the rooms with jetted tubs. Only this time the tub was broke

"comfortable hotel"
We stayed here on our way to Texas. The room was large and comfortable. There were a few things that needed repair, but the hotel is undergoing a remodel so I assume these things will be taken care of. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and spacious. It was convenient to restaurants and the highway.

"Midway to Florida"
Great place to stay if you're traveling to and from Florida and Indiana or other states in the Lake Michigan area. Good value. Located close enough to the I-75 exit but not so close that you'll hear the traffic. Several dining and fueling options at the same exit.

"Best Western East Ridge"
They were doing a lot of remodeling, so we had a few glitches this trip. I have stayed here before without incident. It is a fairly nice hotel for the price. Because of the covid situation, we were not able to have breakfast.

"Quick Stop Over in Chattanooga"
We enjoy staying at hotels in the Best Western family. We expected a nice stay in this hotel just south of the city...on the freeway heading to Atlanta. Because of terrible traffic congestion across Nashville and then again within five miles of our destination hotel, we arrived very late in the evening. Odett, the desk person, was waiting and most welcoming. Throughout our stay, she was attentive. The hotel must be undergoing some renovation...the lobby area looks like it has been upgraded. Unfortunately, while our room was very nicely arranged and had comfortable beds, it was in serious need of renovation. The carpet was badly worn and spotted. The fridge had a broken door, and the furniture was a little beaten up. Once the room is renovated, I'm confident that this BW Plus will be fully up to a five star rating again. Even in its current condition, it is reasonably priced if all you need is a quick overnight stay.
Reginald Ray, Guest Services / Front Office at Best Western Plus Arbour Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for your feed back.
"What ?"
I read all the negative reviews of this property and thought why did I book here? The answer is, I booked here because it is very reasonably priced, friendly, quiet, huge clean rooms. Are they under construction? yes, but it did not impact our stay at all. The grab and go breakfast was great. The reviews about how you should never book here are wrong in my opinion. If you want pristine carpeting etc., then pay $400.00 a night, then you can complain.

"Tenn Road Trip"
The Hotel was close to the exit and had many nice places to eat in the area. They are working on the Resturant so it was closed but the prepaided breakfast was fine. The staff was great and helped with area questions. I would definately stop here again.

"This hotel is moldy and cheated us."
We booked this hotel in November for two nights while we were in town for a soccer tournament. The room we stayed in had a K bed and a sofa bed. We anticipated that our kids would be able to sleep on the sofa bed, as advertised, but it was only twin size, so they didn't fit and 3-4 people ended up in the K bed. We did not sleep well. Worse, there was black mold in the air vents and we had respiratory issues all night. My son threw up. We checked out early on the first morning and I told the GM at the desk of our issues and he cancelled our reservation and supposedly gave us a full refund, along with a printout of the refund. However, I just checked my credit card and we were charged for 2 full nights. This hotel is dumpy, appears to have stalled in renovations, and has cheated us.

"Outdated property"
The room was clean but very dated. The elevator had dead bugs in the ceiling. This wasn't a welcome sight after eight hours of driving. Staff friendly. King bed comfortable. Only in-room coffee available. To go bag breakfast only. Not the best value or property I've stayed at.
Guest Relations Manager, General Manager at Best Western Plus Arbour Inn & Suites, responded to this review

Despite your disappointment, we hope you will return to stay with us again. You can be assured of our very best attention.
"Stay anywhere else but here."
I see that you are putting money into the hotel to renovate the conference center. Stop. Stop now. Just demolish the building and put the rubble into a hazardous waste landfill. Next, just plant some trees over the area and walk away. This hotel is terrible. Carpet stains from who knows what (unfortunately, I have some ideas). Someone spit toothpaste on the wall and it was still there. Numerous makeup (I hope) smears/stains on the walls. The carpets are coming up creating a tripping hazard. The room is dimly lit and reminded us of a dungeon. For the sake of the Best Western name, no longer call this place a Best Western.

Kindness and helpfulness goes a long way. This hotel has been amazing to us! They have made our time in Chattanooga enjoyable and easier with their breakfast on the go in the mornings. We recommend this hotel. Thank you!

"Don't stay here"
This place was just awful. Its the worst Best Western I have ever stayed in. This place needs to be condemned. There were stains on the bed and all over the floor. The furniture was old and mostly broken. The couch looked like it had been sitting outside on the curb. The place stink. It was just awful. I recommend no on stay here. This place should be condemned.

I would like to ensure you that comments like yours are not taken lightly and will be addressed immediately with our entire team. "Bare Bones - but still offering a quality stay"
One reviewer allowed a door key mishap overshadow the other positive attributes of this property. The fact that the property is undergoing a major renovation is a testament to the owners and managements commitment to raise the bar for a quality hotel experience in the Chattanooga area. I visited the property from 10/22/21 until 10/30/21. My son had heart surgery on 10/22/21 and remained in the hospital until 10/26/21 when I brought him back to BW to stay until 10/30/21. He is in midst of an extremely contentious divorce and since I'm a retired RN - I felt I could insure he got the care he needed under the circumstances. My son and I both had a suite - mine due to the length of time I'd be there and his due to the need for more comfortable options in his surroundings. Management was extremely helpful in accomodating my request for rooms in close proximity in case of an emergency. While the present decor of the property is dated - there are signs of renovation all around the property. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. All my questions, concerns and requests during this stressful time were addressed quickly and professionally. Daily, I observed friendly staff cleaning rooms and attending to other chores around the property. I had no complaints at any time during my stay. Incidentially, my son must have additional surgery and I fully intend to stay once again at this property. Some folks have a hard time looking past the small incidental issues and miss the bigger picture that the property is being completely renovated. And, that the property is still dealing with Covid-19 issues and cleaning to protect the public from a business perspective should not be lost in our evaluation process to paint the honest and total picture of this property

"Low prices, basement quality"
Despite being under construction, the facility manages to struggle keeping up with the portions of the site that are open. Room keys don't work regularly and, at times, can get stuck in the parking lot entry way, to which staff are indifferent and replace our keys while telling us that "someone will find a way to get rhe card out of the door" but won't call maintenance on it. Cue every other guest in the hotel trying to use the door to be unable to do so because the card is still stuck in the machine and will not let anyone else use their cards to enter the facility. I don't really know of a better way to show that the facility really does not care about anyone's experience and only exists to rake in whatever cash the unfortunate guests who stay here have.

Dear TripleR309, Your review and rating are greatly appreciated; though it is very disappointing to learn of the bad impression we made during your recent stay due to the condition of your room and our amenities. We are forever working to improve upon the guest experience during our renovation process and I hope you will remember our attributes for when you return during another trip to the area to see how we have improved to impress you even more once work is complete. Once again we apologize for the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your feedback and we value your business.
"This facility is under renovation but they provide excellent service!"
We only stayed here one night - but we were impressed with the service provided by the personnel. We had a problem with the toilet in the early hours and, because their maintenance people don't start until 9 AM, they have us a key to the adjoining room. It was a very comfortable stay for us - though it will admittedly be better when the renovation is complete!

"Disgusted"
The rooms were humid. Everything felt wet. The carpet was actually wet. The bathroom was filthy. Hair all over the bathroom floor, tub and sink. Bathtub was dirty. Gave someone else the same room we were in so we had people waking into our room in the middle of the night.

Dear mrslinne, Thank you for letting us know about the inconveniences that you encountered during your recent stay at our hotel. It is distressing to hear that you encountered a number of issues, especially with the cleanliness during your stay. Guest satisfaction is of the utmost importance, and please rest assured that your observations have been duly noted and will be dealt with appropriately. We have implemented many new guidelines and procedures for cleaning in our hotel rooms. We focus on "high touch" areas that could harbor germs, and have implemented additional cleanings of those areas, in addition to other steps we are taking around the hotel, to protect our guests and staff members. Once again, I thank you for your feedback and apologize for not providing you with a better stay.
"Worst Best Western we ever stayed at."
Shabby & in need of updating. Numerous items missing from room most notably a phone. Very expensive considering the shape of the hotel & definitely no hot breakfast. They need to update their advertisement of the property. Manager did give us a partial refund when I complained.

We take your business very seriously and assure you that management has taken all the steps to make sure that all the rooms are clean and our ultimate goal is to make sure each guest has a comfortable stay. The breakfast is temporarily out of service this time due to the pandemic. Our Hotel is working hard to follow the CDC guidelines, and all of our local county and state recommendations when it comes to Covid-19. We are all doing the best that we can for our valued guests. We hope to be back to normal someday soon, and we thank you for your understanding. Despite your disappointment, we hope you will return to stay with us again. You can be assured of our very best attention
"Worst hotel we ever stayed at"
We had a king suite. Room smelled of mold, moisture and sale cigarette smoke, combined. This was suppose to be a non-smoking room. The ventilation ducts were full of dirt and appeared to have mold. Moisture was dripping from them. The furniture and carpet were old, worn,, and very stained. One of the 2 TV's did not work. The pool did not look clean. There was no key for the safe in the room. There was coffee in the room, but no coffee pot. If there is a positive to this place, the front desk was friendly and the grab and go breakest was satisfactory. Had it been a buffet breakfast I would not have eaten it. All this, post Covid. No way, not again would I stay here. I have to wonder about even staying in Best Western chain ever again if this what they find acceptable

"Worst room experience ever"
I book a king suite for 3 people. When we check in to room, it looks nothing like what is pictured, the couch is a single that folds out with 1 inch thick mattress. Ok so we go to make the bed and no linens, no blankets, no pillow provided. I call the front desk and they won't bring anything to room, say I have to come get it so I do. After waiting a while they come out with a blanket and a pillow. I explain there is no mattress pad or sheets and they say they don't have any. They say we can Upgrade, yeah, upgrade my room to one with 2 double beds. I say how does that help, my wife has already used the shower, been in the bed, you don't have any sheets of any size to change out that bed, your not going to clean the room, just put my daughter in the other room then. They say no, will go find some sheets. 20 mins later she comes back empty handed and says they have none. She says they can sleep on the mattress with just a blanket, that they never provide a mattress pad, just 1 sheet and a blanket. I asked to speak to manager but they would not do that. I said well then I guess I have to take the 2 double beds and other person says they were both reserved when other person was out looking for sheets. They say only choice is to sleep with the blanket and pillow or cancel our room altogether. How any of that solves a problem, it doesn't. I finally say at least give me another blanket and pillow and they do that so we have a grown adult who was scheduled for the room sleeping on a blanket with a blanket, how ridiculous is that. Talk about the absolute worst customer service, this was as low as it gets, the manager should be proud of his employees for screwing things up right from the start

"Run down and Disgusting"
The hotel staff was unfriendly. The front desk worker had their very young child with them which set the tone for the unprofessionalism I experienced. The room had water damage throughout and the ceiling register looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Avoid!!!

"Curse on Best Western Plus Hotels. A Dump converted in Hotel."
Generically Best Western Plus are very good but this one is the worst Dump I have ever come across. This dump should be demolished. It is actually not Best Western building, just franchised name. Smell, garbage, broken walls, dirty showers, Carpet full of stains, bathroom not cleaned. Hotel is run by some Indian company or family, zero customer service. Shame they bring Best Western's name down. I was so upset when my wife and I got into the room, mold, broken bed, seemed like we were in 3rd world country.
"Okay hotel that's under renovation"
The hotel is under renovation. Things are clean but the hotel itself is very dated. There were hardly any guests there. It was close to the highway and everything was very clean. Not sure if I'd go back unless the price was a bit cheaper.
"Hotel picked to split our trip into three manageable days"
Even though we picked this hotel because of it's location... we will come back because it was a very pleasant stay experience... The clerks at the desk were very nice and professional. The morning checkout was very pleasant, the clerk even loaned me an umbrella so I could walk out to get my car in a downpour. Was very appreciated. And the "Grab and Go" breakfast was wonderful... even better (and more socially distanced) than a conventional breakfast buffet. Being able to take breakfast items back to your room to eat works just great for us. The only minor gripe is that the carpet in our room (appreciated upgrade to a suite) was beginning to show it's age.

Thank you,
"Nice Hotel"
This is a very nice hotel, The pool was not opened, the lobby was nice. the rooms seemed a little older but nice, We thought we were getting two double beds but they seemed like they were full size. Bathrooms were small.
"Decent"
Not the best but it will do. Drain needs work. Water above my ankle when shower. Need to check drain at least once a week depending on usage. Might also want to discard sheets/pillow cases with stains. You can tell they were washed but you can still see it.
"Great hotel for the rate"
Booked this hotel for 3 nights as part of a 3 week road trip. I got a suite with 2 beds for a very good rate. For the most part, it was quiet (probably because there were not too many people staying there at the time). Breakfast was served at the front desk each morning by the manager, who offered a good variety of items to choose from. There was no coffee provided by the front desk and I was told the coffee in the room was provided. I tried making coffee in my room, but it seemed that possibly another guest had put something into the water reservoir of the coffeemaker because the coffee had something floating in it when it was finished. So, I just went to Starbucks across the street each morning instead. Staff should clean and sanitize the coffeemakers between guests. Another thing I noticed was that water from the rain flooded the parking lot on the east side of the building. Better drainage is needed. The hotel is definitely showing its age, but for the most part it seems to be upkept well enough. I will definitely stay here if I am in Chattanooga again in the future.
"Beautiful hotel"
Gorgeous and comfy rooms! I stayed in this hotel for 40 days this last year when my husband was in the hospital and it was definitely one of my favorite hotels hands down that I have ever stayed in. It felt like home during one of the worst, most emotional times of my life and I am forever greatful for the staff members who helped me through the hardest parts, especially when they would notice I was having a hard day. Thank you Mr. Ray (Manager), Damian (best person in the world to be around when you need to feel confident, picks you up when you are down), and Octavia ( great down to earth person that you could talk to all day!) Thank you all so much. I will never forget this time and place in my life.
"An Indifferent Clerk"
We had a pleasant check in at the Best Western Arbour Suites Inn on Friday, March 26th. About 7:30 in the evening I went to the front desk and explained to the receptionist that we were thinking of leaving at 3 am due to incoming severe weather and asked if there would be any available breakfast to go at that time. She indicated this would not be a problem as someone was always as the desk, the food was right there behind the counter and all we had to do was ask. At 3 am I went to the front desk to get some food to go and the clerk indicated that nothing would be available until 6:30 am. I explained that the clerk the previous evening had said there food would be available. The morning clerk reiterated his position that no food would be available until 6:30. Not only did he deny us the food that was right behind him, he denied it with unsympathetic declarative sentences. The word ‘sorry' was never said.
"Awesome"
I always am extremely happy with the customer service that the hotel staff provides. This is my absolute favorite place to stay while in town. The hotel is affordable, clean and close to all downtown has to order as well.
"Shouldn't be a BW Plus hotel"
Toilet didn't work when we got there, majority of staff seemed angry to be there and weren't very friendly. I understand the whole Covid thing, but they didn't even have coffee at breakfast or in the lobby. Party in the room above us was allowed to continue through the night even after complaining about it.
"great value"
We stayed at this Best Western on our way home from Florida. I t was a much better value than the Fairfield Inn we stayed at on the way down. We will surely stay here on the next trip down to Florida and back as it's our halfway point.
"Updating and Cleaning Needed"
The hotel is older and some updating should be completed, especially in the guest rooms. Our guest room had a comfortable bed, however the room was not very clean. There was dust around the edges of the carpet next to the walls and there was some hairs on the bathroom floor. The hotel staff was very friendly.
"A rough check in but ok overall "
We checked in on a Friday. We got a king suite on the first floor. DONT get first floor!! Upon bringing our bags in the building- In the back of the dark parking lot, the door entrance doesn't lock.. UNSAFE!! Then we walked in the unlocked door to be blown away with the smell of weed. Guests were smoking in a room right by the front door. When we thought it was crazy enough we walked in our room and it stunk soooo bad. Like a molding musty smell. We asked to be switched immediately and it didn't seem like a big deal what we just described. Guess it maybe happens often? We got a new room and it was good. No issues on third floor. Had random people walking around outside-maybe homeless.. but I never felt in danger. It was one of the cheaper hotels in the area so we got what we paid for. It's in a good area though, close to everything.
"Favorite Hotel in Chattanooga Area"
We always stay here when visiting the area. Staff is pleasant and make us feel welcome. The hotel is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. We always get a suite with double beds to accommodate family members. It's a very peaceful and quiet place to stay!
"Not a bad place for the night - very clean rooms"
Checked in on February 7th. Check-In was smooth, and the Front Desk agent was very nice. Our room was clean and comfortable, however, our TV didn't work, and I had called the front desk about seeing if we can remedy the situation. At first, it seemed as if I was being brushed off, then he had told us Maintenance was out for the day, and we would have to switch rooms. After a long day of travel, I asked if we could just stay in the room, and potentially remedy via the bill. Unfortunately, I have not heard anything back yet. As far as Breakfast, you would THINK that it would have been full service, but there was only Grab and Go, and we had to make Coffee in our room. I stayed at a Holiday Inn the next night near Knoxville, and there was full breakfast, coffee, and the pool was open. I believe the pool here at the Best Western was outdoor, so I'd understand the closure. My next issue was when we went to check out and get our grab-n-go breakfast, It would appear the employee was sleeping in the back. We had to yell Hello multiple times, and it sounded like she was sleeping. Our Check out experience was not very friendly, to say the least. Would I stay here again? Perhaps, as our room was very clean and comfortable. If the staff were to brush us off again, no I would not stay again. Maybe this was a slight oversight, but it was not bad of a hotel.
"RUN!!!"
Where do I even begin?!?! I will start from the beginning; king suite is a great size and lay out, but badly needs updating. Night 1: loud music, fighting, and pot smoke coming from the room next door. With only a handful of cars in the lot, why would they put 2 booked rooms together?!?! We booked this room for the private ( wasn't private at all) patio, but we couldn't enjoy it with the parade of people in and out of the room/patio next door. Day 2: fighting started in the morning! Good thing we are early birds and out of our room in a snap! We left the hanger on our door to have the room made up. We needed coffee, toilet paper, and fresh towels. We got back to room in the late afternoon. No toilet paper. No coffee. No bed made. No empty garbage cans. But! At least we had fresh towels... so they did come in our room. Shortly after arriving back there was more of the loud fighting and loud music and people coming and going. What the HELL was going on next door?!? If I wasn't staying with my very tall and muscular husband, I would have been terrified. Last morning- had a zoom meeting early in the morning. More fighting!!! It was insane. Checking out- was never asked how my stay was! Probably for the best; I was ready to give them a taste of what I heard for the last few days!!!
"A good stay"
We enjoyed our stay here. We had a suite. The staff was very friendly and helpful. With the virus restrictions, we missed our waffles but the staff did an excellent job handling the breakfast (a good selection, too).
"Needs a major overhaul"
Rooms are gross and walls are very thin. Thinner than normal hotel rooms. Thank God I brought all my own cleaning supplies to clean the 2 rooms before we touched anything or put anything down. The sofa bed mattresses were horrible, you could feel the springs popping out. Definitely not worth what we paid - I don't even think it was worth a $10 charge. I would never go back here. The only positive was the Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches for the Take it N Go Breakfast.
"NOT SAFE"
I stayed at this hotel on Christmas night. It was billed as a conference center but was in a very deserted area. The hotel was run down had interior hallways with exterior doors that were not locked. I was one of a handful of guests (4 cars in the parking lot.) After unpacking, I received two calls on the room phone. upon answering I found the line engage but no one spoke. I received another crank call and thereupon unplugged the phone. I called the desk to see if they had called. They replied that they had not. I reported the first call and they replied that they were having problems with the phones. I did not feel safe in this hotel.
"Very large rooms, in very bad need of a renovation"
Very sweet staff, very spacious rooms, but in very bad disrepair - the carpet is old, stained, and stretched with rumples in it, the wood cabinetry is scratched with latches installed to keep the fridge door closed, the caulking around the tub was loose. In its heyday, the hotel must have been very nice, the rooms were huge, unfortunately, they really need to do a major upgrade. The bed, however, (stain on the white quilt cover), linens did appear to be clean and the bed was comfortable.
"Excellent Service"
Stayed here with my Mother, she had an appt in Chattanooga, and decided to drive down the night before. The room was exceptionally spacious and clean, the price was amazing for the accommodations. Would definitely recommend, and will stay here again when in the area. Staff was exceptional as well!!!
"Best Western Chatanooga"
The suite was amazing, I was able to get some work done while my family slept in the bedroom. This hotel was less than 5 minutes away from Jordan Softball fields, which made it very convenient for the tournament. I was most impressed with the front desk service, both the check in and check out was pleasant and the staff genuinely seemed to care about our stay.
"Weekend Stay"
We chose this hotel for a weekend get away for the price and location (close to downtown but not IN downtown). We enjoyed our stay. The room was much larger than expected for the rate and parking is free (bonus). We had a king bed and pull out sofa in a suit. The room setup was nice, and the jetted tub was a nice bonus. The lady at check-in was excellent. She even gave us a couple of local food recommendations. The breakfast was grab and go due to COVID, but they still had hot options. Overall, we would stay again and would recommend this hotel to others.

"Nice stay"
I stayed the weekend just to get away for a few days. I have no complaints, everything worked, beds were pretty comfortable. Vending machines were stocked and working properly. I do miss the hot breakfast that was served previously but that is only to keep everyone safe. Looking forward to a time when things can be back to normal so to speak. Staff was friendly and check in and out was quick and easy. Thank you all for a stress free weekend :)

"GM of this hotel discriminates against medically impaired"
I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights because I had to travel to Chattanooga for medical treatment. I am not able to wear a facial covering of any type by order of my physician so I called the property before I arrived to ensure that I would be able to check in, be allowed ingress and egress to the facility, and not have any problems due to my condition during the stay. I was informed that a mask mandate was in effect but that I would not incur any problems since the mandate for Hamilton county includes a provision for those with medical conditions. I checked in and was treated nicely by the clerk that staffed the desk at the time of my arrival. I went to the lobby for the ‘Grab and Go' breakfast on the first morning after I arrived and was informed by the GM, Ray, that he could not offer any service to me because I could not wear a facial covering. I was treated rudely and was informed that I could not occupy any public area because of my disability. I returned to my room and called BW customer care and the resolution was that I could call the desk every morning to have my breakfast delivered but that I was not allowed to enter any public areas. The manager of this hotel has rules that are more strict than the county mandate. He informed me that he was well aware of the mandate but that he still would not allow me in any public area of the hotel without a mask. I was disappointed with the way I was treated by the management of this hotel. The rooms are decent and are fairly priced but all amenities, including the ice machines, are out of service due to the pandemic. I will not return to this hotel because of the way my disability was treated.
Reginald Ray, Guest Services / Front Office at Best Western Plus Arbour Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Executive Order, Anyone with documented medical contraindications to facial covers such as active asthma or COPD. Anyone who is acutely short of breath or incapacitated such that they would be unable to remove the covering on their own. Violations of this Directive by businesses and /or individuals shall be punishable by citation issued by the Hamilton County Health Department and / or criminally by local law enforcement. The health and safety of our guest and team members is our Paramount concern.
"Great location"
Hotel location was great, not far from Rock City, Ruby Falls, Civil War Park, Hamilton Place Mall, restaurants and other entertainment. Pool & Gym was not open due to COVID19. Only problem was the TV remote would only change channels, not turn on/off or work the volume.

"Would not stay again"
There was a moldy stale smell throughout the entire hotel. The pool was closed, the work out room was closed, the ice machine was closed, the breakfast was cancelled. The room had a nice layout, it was just unfortunate the hotel itself has a lot of improvements needed. Thankfully, this was just a one night stay while traveling through.
"Great Hotel"
I would highly recommend this hotel. It was clean, with comfy beds, great price, at a great location. Pools were awesome and always clean. The river also runs behind it and my kids played there daily.
"Awful place to stay"
We had to stay there for my daughter softball tournament and stay to play. Moved rooms 4 times because to toilet not working and NO AC (rooms were 76 degrees +). Mold was everywhere, hotel HOT, stains bad everywhere in each room and it felt moist in each room. Just an awful place to stay period!!
"Excellent customer service!"
While there were several service changes, as a result of the pandemic, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, at check in and check out, more than compensated. The design of the room ensures a very quiet night and the room was spacious and well equipped.

"Great place to stay"
On my way home from Florida during the covid19 crisis, I stayed at this Best Western. They are taking cleanliness and sanitary conditions seriously during this time. The breakfast room is closed but you can still make coffee in your room. The desk clerk had on gloves and did have a togo bag for breakfast. Just really appreciated not being afraid to stay. As always, Best Western rooms are clean and spacious with extra soft pillow top bed. Lots of restaurants with drive thrus and very convenient to I-75. Will certainly stay here again.

"One night stay"
Pleasant staff, courteous and professional. Rooms are spacious, however they are in need of updating. Would not consider as a Plus hotel.! Good location to I-75 access. Ordered a pizza and wings from a suggested Italian pizzeria by the clerk at front desk. Worth the advise it was hot , delicious and delivered in an expeditious manner.

"Spacious room & breakfast; “Fresh Remote”; free newspaper"
Very convenient to the Interstate. Drove past it twice; needs better signage. Weird layout, with parking way in back. My E-key didn't work at one of the 2 doors. Clean, spacious room, with a “Fresh Remote” (a great amenity…thank you). While near I-75, there was no traffic noise. I did, however, have a snoring upstairs neighbor and groaning heater, plus the light coming in from under the door was harsh. Mini-fridge, coffee-maker, hot shower, complimentary “citrus shampoo”. Free “USA Today”. The breakfast area is spacious, maybe since this is a “conference center”. Yummy ice-cold orange-mango juice. The toaster wasn't working and my doughnut was cold, but it was a nice spread. The woman running the show was pleasant and seemed very hard-working. Quick check-in, but painfully long check-out with much computer-gazing. Good value for the price.

"Comfortable and large but in need of updating"
Very nice staff, comfortable bed, very good TV service and decent breakfast. However the dimness of all of the lighting in the room (need to upgrade the bulbs to LED), the worn carpet throughout and bathroom fixtures that need to be regrouted show the age of the place

"Budget Hotel with Decent Accommodation"
I chose this hotel for a one-night stay for my visit to the Lookout Mountain area. I could have chosen a hotel closer to the attraction but decided against it last minute due to re-scheduling and price change. This hotel is dated inside and out, but everything is adequate for my stay. I got a bigger suite with separate living TV area on the second floor, and that was really nice. We got the usual hot and cold items for breakfast. I have no issue with the check-in and check-out process. Plenty of parking on the outside. I also saw a meeting facility adjacent to the breakfast area. If you are looking for a budget hotel in the area and not picky about older room decor/interior, give this place a try.

"Swindlers."
Charged $358 when my bill said $281.11 called and was told there was nothing they could do. Hotel wasnt bad but not sure what they are so proud of. Mad about my money. The location was fine kind of a busy junction.
"Good location for a runner"
I picked this hotel for the fitness center which was really the only disappointment. Not much in the way of equipment. I made the best of it since the location is so close to the Camp Jordan park. You can walk 2 miles on a path around the park and also pick up the path along the river that goes another 4 miles (one way) onto the Brainerd Levee. Very nice for running and the park was even lit at night.
"Decent value"
This hotel was average/good and a reasonable price. The room was clean, although a bit dated. I would not rate this as a BW Plus, although I have no major complaints - it just seemed ordinary. Breakfast was ok, but not great. Staff was friendly and efficient.

"Comfy Bed"
This hotel is clean and offers a great breakfast with very comfortable beds. Parts of the hotel are old and are in need of upgrading. The cost helps to accomodate for the old parts but again the staff was friendly and bed and pillows were very good.

"Discount price for a better than average discount hotel"
We stayed at this BW+ on a trip to Atlanta. I booked on a discount internet hotel website and we stayed just long enough to sleep and eat breakfast. Behind the hotel is a large RV campground and camping store. Fortunately, it was pretty quiet, even with a lot full of RVs camping. The hotel is pretty worn and the usual areas (wall to floor joints of carpet) are uncleaned (white dust glaze), but overall cleaning was OK. For the price, this was a good place to stay.
"consistantly Good"
Have stopped at this motel at least 15 times in the past several years and have always had a good experience. ie, clean well maintained rooms, adequate breakfast choices, friendly staff. The location is somewhat onerous to manuver to off of IH 75, (less then adequate signage marking ingress to the motel enterance).

The room was very clean and the parking was easy and convenient. There was a great breakfast. The young man at the front desk was courteous and friendly. Checkout was quick. Very convenient to both I 75 and I 24. Would definitely stay here again.

"Great place to stop!"
I picked this hotel because the price was reasonable and it was close to the highway. It was better than I expected. The breakfast was much better than what you find at most hotels. There were hot selections along with fruit, yogurt with toppings and cereal. Our room was clean and comfortable.

"Comfortable but older and average"
The sleeping room was fine, but you walked in to a bland white living room area that was not welcoming and the ceilings reminded me of being in a basement (we were in a lower level called the first floor). I've stayed next door at a much newer property that was modern and welcoming. The Plus name seems to designate more room for the value. The BW Plus I've stayed in before were new. The free breakfast was fairly good. The property is oddly arranged and clearly older although fairly maintained. I would stay here again if it was a value and other properties were booked or high. The window was small so no real natural light. It was clean.
"Great value"
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was awesome. We had a 2 room suite and the price was a great value. The hotel was clean. It's a little dated but everything was in working order. Breakfast was delicious

Great with minor issues the shower nozzle holder was broken had to hold the shower head while bathing. The internet was not secure so i didn't use that service The ac unit kept waking me up during the night i could hear it kicking on and off in my room as well as the room next to me very loud.

"Long Walk"
We were placed in the back of the hotel which meant a for breakfast. We were given a large suite which had 2 rooms and 2 TVs. The vanity and sink are outside the shower which is very convenient when two are getting ready in the morning. Overall the hotel and amenities were great. We were on the 3rd floor. The toilet paper roll was inconveniently located requiring contortions to reach it. There were no carts in the back so we had to make two trips to get our luggage to the room. We also noted that there were no ramps in the back which is surprising since I am not sure how a handicapped individual would get their wheel chair into the hotel without outside help. Also there are 3 steps to get to the lobby again no ramp can be seen. I would recommend this hotel even though I had some issues.

"great location for Chattanoogna activities"
Upon arrival on a day that was 101 degrees out we were very happy to have a geat reception from the front desk clerk Reginald. He understood our handicap needs, travel fatigue and went out of his way to get us into a room early. He arranged for us to park near the ramp entrance and he and all of the other staff treated us very well. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was large with lots of variety. Area was quiet and safe with good lighting of the parking areas.

"Good place for a night or two"
The hotel was very quiet, we stayed on a Monday night, there were a few others there. Business travelers mostly. They are working on refinishing the hotel and restaurant from what I could tell. They serve a good full hot breakfast. Very fresh. We got an "accessible room" because I am 6' 5" tall, and have a new knee replacement, and the lower toilets and high step in showers are a problem for me. The hotel is about a mile off the highway but because of the placement of the hotel you cannot hear the highway, even outside on the lot. Good hotel when you aren't spending a lot of time in the hotel, just sleeping.
"Best Western is the only option."
Best Western Plus should be the only choice for all your lodging and meeting needs. The staff handles and actively listens to all of your concerns in a very rapid and profession fashion. Mr Ray in the East Ridge location is a rare gem that goes above and beyond to make your event special.

"Everything perfect"
My wife and I stayed here for three nights. Everything was great including the staff, rooms, pool and breakfast. We had a beautiful king room suite. It was less than $90 a night. Thank you for a great visit.

"Decent but not a "Plus""
This is not a bad property and the staff was very gracious. It's just, well, average for a Best Western. Large room (we were "upgraded") but also a large stain on the carpet. Bed mattress was extra firm (hard) and everything seemed clean just aging.

"Not the best"
I was all set to leave a 4 star review...until I looked up. I happened to look up at the vent in the ceiling by the bathroom and it was covered in mold. If that is the outside, I don't even want to know what is lurking in their ventilation system. I brought it to the attention of the manager when checking out and he thanked me and said he would look into it. He did give me a discount and apologized for it. The hotel is a bit outdated and it appears that the management isn't very interested in doing any updates. The breakfast was good. Octavia, the front desk personnel in the evening was very nice and welcoming. I don't think I will be coming back to this hotel.

"Best Western PLUS - Nice Surprise"
The room was much larger than we expected with separate televisions for the bedroom and the living area. This was the first hotel that our internet could keep up with three devices being used for gaming. never got kicked or dropped. Used the exercise room and came down for breakfast each day. Everything was well stocked and clean. This was the first time staying at a RED PLUS Hotel. We look forward to staying at Best Western properties in the future.

"Not the “Best” Western"
Not the best side of town. Over priced. Pool was gross, very foggy and stinky. I know there were plenty of kids, but it was July 4th weekend, you should have been prepared. Couldn't keep up with food for complementary breakfast. Hallways were so hot you almost couldn't breath. (Turn on the air there!!) Booked a room with 2 full size beds and sleeper sofa. Got 2 small full size beds. Couldn't use our Apple TV. Lobby looks nice, rooms looked outdated, old and not taking very well of. By the end of our stay I don't think the elevator was working very well. I expected something a lot nicer for over $100 a night. That was a group rate!!

"Not worth the money you save"
This is an older hotel with a poor attempt to update the amenities. You can save $30-$40 a night staying here and it may be worth it to you, but expect the breakfast to be very bad, your room not cleaned and the front desk not have any solutions for any problems. Out of a four-night stay, they did not clean our room one of the days and they ran out of the very nasty breakfast two of the mornings. The pool did not have towels and you will have to wait 5 minutes at the front desk to get more. Also, one of our parties had their daughter's medication stolen. The property is very poorly run!

We stayed 2 days. Front desk staff very helpful and nice. We had King Suite with NO Air in bedroom the window didn't open, 2 telephones only 1 worked. The carpet was nasty. "Extremely dirty carpet/ hotel needs maintenance and updating"
Pros: the front desk staff was very nice, patient and helpful and the beds were comfortable Cons: the carpet was nasty. It made everything feels dirty. It was so bad we couldn't walk barefoot. They moved us from 3 separate rooms, and it was bad in each. If I had seen pics and a review on here I wouldn't have booked. The toilet paper holder was falling off, the safety rail in the bathtub was loose, the light fixture in the bathroom was falling down, and the fridge didn't close. The furniture was stained. The walls were drab and seemed dirty. Had the carpet been fresh and felt clean I could have overlooked minor things, but to take a shower and feel like you need to wear shoes after is unacceptable. Breakfast was OK. Decent selection and well stocked.

"Good economy motel"
A bit dated but clean. I didn't think the bed was very comfortable but I am partial to a pillowtop; this didn't get complaints from my husband. He liked the breakfast, and there was a big variety of items. Outside pool was great. There was accommodations made after we checked in...and a room change was arranged without an issue.
"Just a totally surprisingly enjoyable stay"
From the moment we arrived without a reservation, the front desk couldn't possibly have been more accommodating. Very friendly, listened to our needs, and made good on them. The room was fantastic. Breakfast was great. I titled this as a "surprisingly enjoyable stay". We had a not so great stay at a BW hotel in Northern Kentucky the night before and after that stay, I just wasn't sure I ever wanted to try again. I'm glad I did.

"Awful"
Upon entering the hall, it was very hot and smelled mildewy. Our room strongly reeked of mildew. The beds were uncomfortable, our jacuzzi tin did not work, we got double charged for our stay, and we ended up having to move rooms (finally) because the sink poured water onto the carpet every time it was turned on, explaining the strong odor of mildew. Awful stay. They did guarantee the money they overcharged us back into our account in 2-3 business days. However, my family will not be staying here again.

"Weird bathtub and clean room."
The bathtub has a rather odd curve which makes it hard to find footing. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. However. It was in the mid 90'swhen we were there and housekeeping turned off the ac. Our room took hours to cool down. Also we had a king room. Our bed had a dip in the middle so we both ended up rolling to the middle. Not comfortable.

"Not good"
We stayed here 2 nights. This hotel is old and worn. Our room was oddly designed and when we checked in, the room had an overpowering smell of some kind of disgusting disinfectant. Even though our floor had a No Pets sign, a little yippee dog ran up and down the hall off and on until we went to sleep. There were also kids running wild. There was no hair dryer in the room and it took 3 requests to get one. The microwave was missing and it took 3 requests to get one brought in. Breakfast was one of the worst we have seen. The staff was unhelpful and dismissive. I do not recommend this hotel.

"Reasonably Good Value"
This is a unique motel with a somewhat unusual and sprawling layout and multiple (but secure) entrances. Although I didn't use them, it apparently has facilities for small meetings. My room was well furnished for the price, in good shape, and had nice beds. It did, however, have an overpowering artificial scent which was vaguely unpleasant and would be a deal breaker for those with sensitivities. I wondered what it was covering up, but didn't detect a cigarette / smoking odor so it is a mystery. The halls and exteriors could use a sprucing up. The front desk folks were friendly and provided good service. I considered the breakfast quite good for a motel which increased the value considerably.

"Great Hotel!"
My wife and I got one of the King Suites for our anniversary trip. The room was very clean, and in great condition except for the outlets. None of the outlets built conveniently into the lamp bases worked. It was like there were no contacts in them. Even something as light as a cell phone charger didn't have to be pushed in. The wall outlets were a little better, but still very loose. They are inconveniently placed, and the things we plugged in would sometimes fall out. Anyway, enough of the bad. The room was in great shape otherwise. Clean and tidy with no signs of any type of bugs. The bed sheets were clean except for a small stain on the comforter, but we all know those don't get washed frequently. There are two TVs in the King Suite. One in the Living Room, and one in the Bedroom. Nicely sized, with good quality picture, and a great selection of channels. The breakfast each morning was fresh, hot, and tasty with a nice variety. There was a choice between making plain waffles, and strawberry flavored. The location of the hotel is pretty good. Chattanooga isn't huge, so it wasn't too far to any of the attractions. There are two Walmarts fairly close, and lots of restaurants nearby as well as a movie theater if you need to slow down a bit. I have never stayed in a hotel that was perfect, but this one is pretty close... Especially considering the price. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone.

Nice hotel for the price just off I-75. Good location with restaurants nearby. Close to Lookout Mtn., Rock City, and Ruby Falls. The rooms I've stayed in have always been clean. Bathrooms have been updated. Beds are comfortable. Other than a couple of worn places in the carpeting, this is a nice hotel. Staff is friendly and the breakfast is good. I'll always stop here on my way to/from Florida.

On the map it might look like this is outside of Chattanooga, but it is minutes away from everything, whether you want to go west (downtown, aquarium, etc), east (Hamilton Place Mall, restaurants, etc), or north (airport), the freeway is right there. The rooms are a bargain, too.

"Bad Stay"
Don't go through 3rd party. It cost about $30.00 more than calling hotel direct. Manager didn't care and indicated he couldn't do anything about it. After checking in went down hallway to room 143 and it it smelled like they had just sprayed the hallway and room bug spray. Went back to front desk and ask what the smell was and manager said he didn't smell anything. I asked for a walk-in shower and when I went to the room it was a bath tube shower which made it difficult for me to get in and out. the toilet seat was also broken and I informed the desk clerk about it and again I don;t think he really cared. Would not recommend this motel to any senior citizen that has handicap needs. When I went to breakfast after checkout there was no waffles available and again the desk clerk said that they didn't serve waffles that day. If I wasn't so tired and had already paid for the room I would have definitely check out and went to another motel. For being a Best Western member I am very disappointed with the entire stay.

I stayed here for two night while having a meeting in Chattanooga, TN. Stayed in one of the suites. Room was clean, bathroom was bit on the smaller side. Lobby area had nice seating area. Breakfast was OK.

"Great Value, very nice, large and comfortable Room"
This motel was a surprise because of the price of the room. It was very clean, comfortable and nice room especially for the price. It had all of the amenities of a high price motel. The location was great for our needs, just off the Interstate and close to town. The folks were very nice and accommodating. Great value, great price!

"I think this is our new go-to stop on the long haul between FL and WI"
When you're making the very long drive between the frozen tundra of the north and the sunny skies of the south, all you want is a decent place to sleep for that middle stop. This Best Western absolutely fit the bill. The location was excellent for our travel needs - right by the junction of 24 and 75, 2 gas stations nearby (and a Wendy's across the street, to my kids' joy), and extremely quiet. Although the facility shows some wear and tear (cracked surfaces in the tub, etc.), the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows, and the suite was more than enough room for me and two kids. And hey, after a long day on the road, I was pretty excited to see a tub with JETS. (Look for the "on" switch where you'd expect the exhaust fan to be.) If you're using the pull-out sofa, you may have to ask for the bedding from the front desk. The employee brought ours to our room (and he was extremely pleasant too). Breakfast options were decent too: several kinds of eggs, baked goods, fresh fruit, and even a potato/onion/bell pepper/sausage mixture that was a nice change from the norm.

"Good Stay"
The check in process was easy and fairly efficient. The room was very comfortable and spacious for the price. The facility was very clean and within easy driving distance of shopping and dining options. The breakfast was quite adequate and offered some variety of food choices. Check out was simple and easy.

"Great one night stay"
Good staff, above average breakfast. We got a very nice room upgrade too bad we weren't there for two nights. Very very clean. Check in is up front but parking in back. Coming from the north turn in sign had us turn into a storage lot but iot was dark and raining. Will stay again.

"Quick Chattanooga visit"
The reviews are true about the rooms--the suites are a great layout and very roomy! We were on the lobby level, and everything was very convenient. We also liked the hot breakfast and found everyone very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and hope to return to Chattanooga for a longer visit in the future.

"Incredible room!"
This was the nicest room we've had in 10 days of travel. Huge separate bedroom with king sized bed and a lovely bench for suitcases. Plus a living room with an additional TV, a couch and a chair. A hallway with a counter top for the coffee with a microwave and frig. Then plenty of room with the bathroom counter top and a jetted tub!! It was spotless! Everything looked new. The breakfast was huge! Included everything in a continental breakfast plus eggs, sausage, waffles and hash browns. This place was nicer and offered more than the Hilton we stayed in for $295 a night!

"Believe the good reviews! #travellingwththeparents"
I was advised with reservations by Best Western. They were helpful securing a handicap room. My octogenarian and nonagenarian parents were thrilled with the roomy room, comfortable bed, chairs and walk in shower. We were treated very well. Every thing was clean, nice. The WiFi was a solid connection. Breakfast was a feast of sausages, eggs, French toast, waffles, yogurt and fresh fruit. Thanks to Anthony.

"Enjoyable Stay"
I went with this motel while in the area because the reviews were more positive than most of the similar priced places. It was a good decision. Our room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed. We had everything we needed. We were a bit confused at first because the front desk and our room was on the 2nd floor but parking was on the 1st floor. The room was large with a really comfortable bed and it was extremely quiet. Breakfast was fantastic. I noticed a few leaks in the ceiling in the hallway as it was raining so the building could use some tlc. Our room and the breakfast area were very clean though. Happy we chose this place.

"Anniversary Trip"
We stayed here for two nights and it was very nice ! Everything was nice and clean! The bed we had was somewhat hard, which I like but my fiancé did not. We did not get the room that had a stove and such but we did have the normal fridge accommodation ! They don't have an area where you can wash your own clothes but if need be there was a coin laundry down the road. We didn't do that option though. They are fairly close to a couple major attractions as well ! Staff was all very friendly and the breakfast was okay. The doughnuts and bread were stale both days when we got there around 8 but they had lots of other options such as bagels that were nice and then the normal meat, eggs, potatoes, cereal, etc. I would have loved regular pancakes but all they had was pre-made strawberry and blueberry pancakes. ( Like in a mixer that you poured it out and then put it in the waffle/ pancake maker) it was nice overall !

We have stayed here before and loved it! Our room was very nice. King bed was extremely comfortable. Let bed the separate living area from bedroom and bathroom. My only complaint would be the morning breakfast was not hot enough. Service people were very kind. Will stay again for sure. Very reasonably priced.

Great hotel Good location. My husband, daughter and I were in town for softball. Very nice and helpful front desk staff. Good breakfast. We were in a double suite so it was nice to have the extra space. Room was nice and clean. Only complaint I have would be that you can hear the race track that is near by but they shut it down around 10pm so had no issues getting to sleep at night. Overall great hotel, would definitely stay here again!!

"Checked out early"
The back outside door where guests (or anyone!) could enter was not locked, at all - this was mentioned to the clerk - not very safe/secure (not fixed). And we were on the first floor. The "safety" lock on the door (the one you slide over to keep the door from opening) did not work. The tub did not drain well (this was also mentioned to clerk - not fixed) - you had to stand in water during shower Ice machine on first floor didn't work Outlets were too loose - could not use for chargers No charging outlets for phone/tablets in room No freezer in frig Hall carpet needed to be replaced Terrible view from room window - none, really Coffee terrible - and no real cream or milk Scrambled eggs cold - otherwise breakfast was fine Pool (outside) was closed and weather was hot Positives: Clerk was very nice and friendly, but did not get the things fixed we asked her to and she said she would - did help with dinner suggestions and printed out directions Room/hotel was clean Bed VERY comfortable Wifi was good We were scheduled for 3 nights and changed it to 2, due to the things we asked to be fixed weren't - didn't feel safe there with back door open Not sure what the PLUS is for in the name!

"In desperate need of some TLC!"
Though the staff was very friendly we found our room to be very tired looking. When I pulled down the bedding the sheets looked like the we stained......also on the other bed. We complained to the staff and a friendly girl came to change our sheets. She explained to us that they were not stained but thread bare.........why would anybody use these? Also the floor was so dirty and stained it grossed us out. It just made the whole room dirty looking. On a better note, the breakfast was decent.

Had a new front desk clerk and had a few bumps, but she handled it very professionally. Room was in good working order and clean. We had a suite and bed was comfortable. Only thing I would say is the maids need to check the freezers, it was a bit messy but other than that the stay was great!!

"Satisfactory but could use a freshening up"
The hotel was satisfactory, but things were dated and maintenance was overdue on many items. For example, the AC in the fitness center was inoperative. No matter what temperature was set, it remained 77 degrees in the room. No fruit available at breakfast. The staff was excellent, grit and helpful. I would consider staying there again but would look at other properties first.

"Noise"
Do not stay in room 200 unless you want to hear noise all night from a pump outside the room. When I complained I was told that their is a pump outside the room and other quests have had the same issue. Why would you put someone in a room that you can hear noise all the time in the middle of the night. They did move me to a better room the next night.

Big motel with a great breakfast. Huge rooms and a nice bathroom makes it an ideal place to sleep. Close to interstate and close to Chattanooga attractions. Gym room was always used, we did too which was nice. Sadly weather was bad first day and second day film crew was using the pool so can't say a thing about it. And fot the teens, good Wifi and you can make your own pancakes.

Some the reviews were very good, some not so good. My review is a good hotel with some very good people. The room was clean, stocked and spacious. The beds were very good. "Family Reunion"
Booked a suite for the weekend for a family reunion. Greeted with a smile and Check-in was quick and easy. All of the staff were very friendly and acknowledged you with a smile. I didn't realize Best Western was rebranded to BW. Drove right passed the hotel even though GPS told us we arrived (it sits back off the road). Others at the reunion said the same thing. Also thought their sign was too high (should be lowered and something done to make the place stand out more). The hotel is very outdated (stains on the carpet in our room, musty smell, grout on bathroom floor needs redone, etc.), but was clean. I am very picky about beds, but will have to say the bed was very, very comfortable. BW needs to spend money upgrading/renovating the place because it's close to some of Chattanooga's best places to visit.

"Outdated and Unappealing smell"
Our softball team stayed here for a tournament. Although we enjoyed staying with friends and family for the weekend & made a lot of great memories, this hotel is in desperate need of an update and a good cleaning. The halls and rooms have an odor, and it's likely to be from all of the old, outdated carpet throughout. The hotel was not worth the value we paid for. The staff was friendly, but we didn't have much interaction with them, as we usually came in the back entrance.

"Little Things Would Make A Difference"
Overall, this is a nice hotel and good for a family. Things seemed fresh and modern, well maintained, and clean. The suite was a nice size, and the outdoor pool area was large and nice. The hit breakfast was good and well stocked/maintained. But little things bugged me. We got all the way into the pool area before we found that you have to go to the front desk to request pool towels. Later, our done was going to sleep on the sleeper sofa, but there were no linens for it in the room. We called the front desk - You guessed it - You have to go to the front desk to get them. No, these are not huge issues, but they made it obvious that the hotel is more concerned about their convenience than mine. This bugs me, since I could stay anywhere and choose to spend my money there. If not for these little issues, this would have been a 5 star stay.
"Disappointing"
We were extremely disappointed with the suites we reserved for a single night. The refrigerators did not work, the ice machine on the floor was broke, the decor was very dated and the smoke detector was beeping (staff did come and change battery but someone didnt notice this before we got there?). Management did adjust our bill but i would not stay here again.

Checking in, I had the opportunity to meet Reginald R, Guest Relations Manager. Mr. Reginald was very gracious and hospitable. He offered us an upgrade to a suite because of my BW Platinum status. The suite was very large with separate bedroom and sitting area. Very nice. The room was clean and the bedding was comfortable. Thank you again Mr. Reginald. The air conditioning was quiet... but unfortunately on this warm evening it would not cool below 74 degrees. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a smiling face. In moments we were checked in and given our room key. Our room was a suite and was roomy, clean and comfortable. We stayed here the first weekend in June. Came to celebrate my nephew's birthday. We were amazed when we saw our suite! Had a living room and a bedroom. Our rooms were the cleanest that I've ever seen in a hotel. Beds were very comfortable and Jacuzzi tub was amazing. Breakfast was delicious and we were happy to see all the varieties of food. "The right location"
In town for a soccer tournament at the fields across the street so the location was perfect. Huge and bright parking lot greeted us which was nice. Check was easy and even though my cards didn't initially work the front desk was quick to remedy. The pull out bed didn't have any sheets and instead of asking we used the king sized blanket which was big enough to act as sheet and blanket. The room was clean. Breakfast was free; nothing spectacular but fine. WiFi also free.

"Clean hotel, plenty of parking"
Stayed here for two nights. Nothing outstanding about this hotel. My wife described it overall as "just ok - 6.5/10". This hotel was easy to get to, and has tons of well lit parking. The hotel seemed clean overall, staff were friendly, and the hotel served its purpose. The ice machine was super noisy, and just around the corner from us. I can just imagine how many people were affected by ice machine usage. With a race track just behind the hotel, one of our evenings was a noisy one, but did quiet down before 11 pm. The breakfast room was nice and big with plenty of seating, and well stocked food. Only suggestion would be a few more healthy choices such as fruit salad or even hard boiled eggs. We would stay here again.

It's a good hotel. A little pricey for location and quality of hotel. The staff were friendly. The area surrounding the hotel is questionable. The rooms were nice add clean. "Not the best..."
This is not a “plus” hotel. Stale breakfast. Employees are the best part of staying here. Internet did not work during 7 day stay. The hotel needs a major upgrade in carpet and room furniture lobby and all other amenities. The room housekeeping does not speak English so when I asked the housekeeper that knocked on my door to just empty garbage cans and make the bed, she nodded and did not come back. It atakes a lot for me to post this type of review=w.

"For the price not that good"
We came in at 3 and the room was not ready yet. I walked up the desk and went the person that was not busy and got told that he (the front desk manager) was not going to help me. Very snotty. 30 minutes later our room was ready. As we came up to the door to let us in one of the employees was in a screaming phone call outside of the door. The key lock would not release the card, it had to be shoved up so far that it was hard to retrieve it. The TV would not come on, we had to get an employee to correct it. t was the screaming employee. The room was clean. Breakfast day 1 was burnt and cold, the kitchen employee was under staffed and unprepared for the business that the hotel was doing.Day 2 breakfast was not burnt but just slightly warm. The key card was not working by the time we got back to the room and had to come back to a desk that NO ONE was at. We had to wait until the breakfast cook could come over and recharge the cards 15 minutes later. We had been wanting to join the rewards card group but it is this the way ever BW is run?

"Upgraded Hotel But Average Overall With Several Noted Problem Areas"
You can tell this is a dated hotel but the upgrades make it more appealing to stay after all. Reception desk is on the second floor but we were given a room on the first floor. This made it easy for us to park our car than walking to take our belongings to our room. Our room was a one bedroom room with room to sit to watch television. Separate areas for interne, make coffee, etc. However there were two things that got our attention. (1) The television wasn't working but it took 1.5 hours for Maintenance to fix this problem. (2) The ice box needed to be defrosted. We didn't need to use it but hopefully this isn't a problem area with other guests staying at this hotel. Besides a free hot & cold breakfast in the morning they offer the USA Today newspaper. Other people we using it today besides myself. This hotel has a conference centre with meeting rooms, exercise room and pool. Security is good at this location as the outside lighting overnight is bright in the parking lot. Prices are reasonable to stay here. Average rating only because of two problem areas noted in our room. Nice stay here overall.

"Good Potential"
This hotel is clean and the room was comfortable. The reason for the average rating are the details. At check in, the associate was a bit rough around the edges when describing how to find the elevator, talking to us like one might to an elementary student. It was a tight squeeze getting around the lobby due to chairs blocking all but the passage to the right of the fireplace. The hallway was blocked with two cleaning carts, and this was at 7 pm. Aren't rooms usually cleaned earlier? No tea bags available, just coffee. In the morning, the elevator was not working, so we had to take the stairs, which wouldn't be a problem normally save for our luggage. We checked out before breakfast opened at 6:30, and it sure would have been nice to grab a pastry. Maybe offer a few “to go” items before 6:30.

If you are military, avoid this hotel. They will not honor military discount even though every other Best Western we have stayed in has. In fact, they tried to charge extra when my husband insisted on using the military pricing. They wouldn't let us cancel the booking either. We were staying at Best Western Vicksburg (yes they honor military discount) at the time of booking, and they attempted to help us. They weren't any more successful then we were. We ended up staying 2 nights here rather than lose our money but will not stay here again. There are many other hotels in the area that are pleased to honor our military with a discount.

"MOST HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PHONE FROM NATALIE"
I sadly did not even go to the hotel because I received such horrible customer service when calling to see if I could move 1 of my reservations up a day sooner, that I cancelled all my booked rooms. When I called, Natalie answered nicely so I explained that we are leaving a day early for our vacation and wondered if I could move my reservation up 1 day. She replied "I don't know. I'm with a customer so you need to call back in 5 minutes." (why not just ask me to hold right when you pick the phone up or not answer at all?) I asked if I could hold and she replied "ok" then set the phone down. A few minutes later she gets back on and says "Yes?" I said "I am trying to change my reservation date" She replies "Im still busy with a customer" I said "OK" and she gets back off the phone. A few minutes goes by and she again picks up saying "Yes?" I ask "Are you still helping your customers?" and she replies "yes I am." and then proceeds to get an attitude and when I ask her why she keeps picking up the phone saying "yes?" if she isnt ready to help me she says "because the phone ring every few minutes when its on hold. I told you to call back in 5 minutes because I knew this would take a while, but you wanted to hold. I am trying to clear out the lobby." So I tell her that I am a customer too and this is horrible customer service." Mind you, this whole time, she has an attitude. I ask her to speak with a manager and she dryly replies "the manager is not here at this moment, she is on another floor." I reply I need a manager now and I will hold. She gets off the phone and starts doing the pick up and say yes. Puts me on hold then the hangs up. I call back and demand a manager now and she says they arent available so I tell her I need to cancel my reservation then and she says shes still clearing the lobby and I demanded she cancel me now that I have been waiting and she shouldnt just ignore the phone forever to clear every single person from the lobby. She starts to get my info and cancels half of my reservation then tries to put me on hold again to help someone who walked in so I tell her no, you are helping me now finish cancelling my rooms. She finishes cancelling me with her snotty attitude so I hung up. I literlly was shaking from being so mad. By far the worst customer service from a person ever! They lost out on almost $500 from me cancelling my rooms due to her nasty attitude and not knowing how to handle things. Im not even sure how to get hold of a manager. I am beyond furious and disappointed that I will not be able to stay at the hotel because it looked nice and had great reviews. Now off to find somewhere else to stay a week before my trip. Awesome...

"Great Hotel for a Solo Stop Over"
Excellent for the price. I stayed here one night on my way to Asheville. I found the room to be clean, attractive and comfortable. Had all the amenities I needed (refrigerator, microwave, hairdryer and comfortable bed). The staff was courteous and efficient. Breakfast was typical. Will stay here again. Tips: ask the clerk which entrance to park by because it's a large property with no outside room numbers. Be careful stepping into the tub because it has sloped sides.

Lobby is on second level. We stayed on first level just around corner from entrance on that level. Excellent king suite; separate bedroom and living area; refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. Two large televisions, sofa, chair, and work area. Very good hot breakfast, not just sweet rolls. I would recommend it and would stay there again. We were in Nashville a few weeks back and stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. Had a king room, nothing special and paid twice the price for a lot less. Breakfast there was lousy, too.

"Family wedding "
Loved the separation of bedroom with its own door. Breakfast was great as well. My son loved the pancake maker. Tea and Coffee was available at all times. Overall we had a good experience. Came and addressed any issues we had right away.

"We were there for the Patel Wedding"
“I don't require more than the basics in a hotel, really. This Best Western has a very friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms ( the beds and pillows are like clouds), free wi-fi and an excellent, free, hot breakfast.

"Friendly and helpful staff, however rooms not very clean"
Increased rating to average because the staff was very nice and helpful. However, the rooms were not the cleanest. The floor had splotches on it and the toilet was not clean and there was a nice sized stain on the sheets. Other reviews indicate rooms are nice and clean, it's possible mine was just a fluke.

"SB"
This is the worst room we have ever had within the Best Western hotel group. The floor in the room I would not walk on with my shoes. The only reason we stayed was that we were just to tried to go on. I don't believe we will be staying in another hotel by Best Western.

"A Bit of a Mystery Why this is a BW-Plus Property"
We asked for a room on the first floor to minimize walking. We did not realize the first floor at this property is the bottom floor, and the 'first' floor (lobby level) is really the second floor. Once we got that straightened out, the layout of the hotel requires that one walk through much of the conference area to get to sleeping rooms that are laid out in a long, narrow hallway. We were assigned a room about as far away from the lobby as one could get. I didn't feel like changing it. Then, there were only two luggage carts for the entire hotel. I found one in the hallway on check-in; on checkout, there were none so it required multiple trips to the vehicle. I asked the desk, and the response was that people do not return them as they should. Really? That's your answer? How about some additional carts or go track them down? The room was fine, but the property seems to be readying for the queue for a remodel. Most BW-Plus properties are an indication of a well above average hotel. Not this particular location. It just appears tired.

"just old..."
this hotel is old and dingy.. they have tried to do some updating but it's just old and dirty. Stains all over room carpeting, bathroom was old and full of mildew. Try to find something else if you can..

"great stay"
Great place to stay rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable, have HBO in the rooms ,staff was very helpful , great breakfast buffet ,great lobby area. I highly recommend this motel if you are visiting Chattanooga
"Hair in the Bathroom"
We had to move rooms twice because of HAIR in the Bathrooms and pea stains on the toilets. we had to move twice just to find a room that was cleaned and we were 45 minutes late or a supper meeting with my family in the city.

"Vacation 2017"
Upon checking in the handicap parking is well away from the front door and if you follow the ramp you are unable to access the lobby without going into the driveway to avoid steps. Once in our room there was still good in the fridge and there was no linens for the pull out bed which needs a mattress change. I called The front desk for a mattress pad. The bathroom has no shower mat.

"Avoid"
Pay the extra and go to La Quinta next door. This hotel is tired and run down. Worn out carpets, musty, no staff interaction and poor breakfasts with stale bagels and rock hard biscuits. Could not even handle an early checkout and give me a bill even though I offered to settle the night before.

"Easy and Pleasant Stay just off I75 on entering TN"
We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western. We researched hotel options in south Chattanooga on TripAdvisor and Expedia and after deciding we liked BW Plus Arbour Inn and Suites, we went directly to their website and booked direct saving about 15% off the rates quoted on TripAdvisor and Expedia. "Look but don't book" is a great motto to have when booking hotels and vacation rentals and booking direct with the owner almost always results in a better price and service! We really enjoyed this hotel stay and will stay here again next time.

"Nice stay"
Overall was a good experience with the staff and quality of the hotel. Parking is a little weird in front of the hotel but not too much of a nuisance! A few small issues in the room with both lamp outlets not working to charge a phone. But rooms were clean and staff was very nice

"Okay for the price"
The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was not up to BW standards. There is a race track or something in the vicinity so we had some noise after dark. It was just an overnight stay on our way to somewhere else, so it served the purpose. I would use it again at the price were received it for.

This motel is well maintained with very comfortable mattress's the hot breakfast bar has many items to choose from and they keep it well stocked,... there are several restaurant's within two miles. From the price to the staff there's none better. Traveling as often as I do finding this location really makes being away from home easier. Ray and the rest of the staff make your stay as enjoyable as they possibly can. Breakfast is a variety of foods and beverages instead of A standard continental breakfast.

"A nice room"
We were taking a tour of the south, and stopped there on our way home, arriving late at night and we left early so I can only comment on the room. The room had a king bed with a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We had breakfast the next morning, they had the usual cereals, eggs, toast, juice pancakes or waffle. Ice machines were working on our floor.

"Overall very nice"
Overnight stop while traveling. Room was spacious and clean, with the little things like good lamps and use of space and easy charging for devices. Staff courteous and helpful. Only negative was that the breakfast, while plentiful, was cold and biscuits were stale. Probably an isolated incident. Also, they badly need a new American flag--appreciate that they fly it but it is in tatters. Our room had a very comfortable bed and was very quiet.

Clean rooms, Professional and friendly staff. Staff is willing to go above and beyond to help resolve any issue. Breakfast is good but could use some waffles and fresh fruit or berries. "One of the best, Best Western hotels!"
This was a three night stay for us and it was one of the best hotels, and probably the best Best Western, we've ever stayed in and we travel a lot! The separate bedroom setup was great...it's nice to be able to watch some TV and relax in normal chairs/loveseat vs. sitting up in bed! And the fridge/microwave area, plus the separate shower & toilet/sink area was very convenient! The breakfast setup was very spacious and the quality of food and variety were 2nd to none! The lady working the breakfast area kept a nice/neat appearance for the buffet and there was no shortage of anything offered. I'd prefer the waffles over pancakes, but the pancakes weren't bad! Overall, great stay and I wouldn't change anything. Whoever the manager is running this hotel is doing a great job...and, it appears they are treating their employees well...and if not, the manager just has great employees! We'll be back in the area from time to time and this will be our only choice for our stay!

"Not worth $199.00, or $230.00 dollars"
I gave my review of this BW, and I haven't change my mind on the cost of the room I stayed in. I am a BW Gold member, so I know what rooms rent for at BW across the country, and this BW have made me rethink why I prefer to stay with BW when I travel. I have come to the conclusion that BW will no longer get my business and I will not recommend it to my family or friends. I was evacuating hurricane Irma, and got raped by BW.

Overall the hotel was ok. The frame around glass mirror in bathroom falling off, shower head very hard to adjust. The room was warm it took awhile to cool it off, fridge didn't cool well. The hallways were hot. We got a mobility accessible room but struggled to get stuff to room because there were no carts near the back entrance which made getting inside difficult

"Comfortable bed / pillows"
Conveniently located off the Interstate. Room is spacious and clean. Fast wiFi .Breakfast served on a Monday: scrambled eggs / bacon / potatoes / yogurt / cold cereal / coffee / juice / milk Large seating area with TV. . Rating not excellent because the cleaning solutions used are chemical based and leaves a strong lingering odor. Suggest that you call in advance to advise if you are sensitive to smells so you need not be reassigned after check in. Staff was very accommodating after I reported the issue.and gave me another room.

"The walls are thin...."
Okay - I know we are in a hotel, and sometimes there could be some noise from your next door neighbor. But being able to hear an entire argument at 12:30 in the morning - interogating a significant other about cheating is not something I wanted or expected to hear. Also, their bathroom moments. If you seep here, I recommend ear plugs. Also, it smelled funny in the hallways, but the room itself was clean

I believe this facility is a former Holiday Inn. The upgrade to Best Western has been done tastefully. The rooms were decorated nicely and were very clean. Our A/C unit did not work very well and probably had not been replaced as part of the make-over. The complimentary breakfast was more than satisfying. Great location at the junction of I-75 and I-24.

"Good"
The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. They had a nice spread for breakfast including eggs, pancakes, hash browns, biscuits and gravy... I was disappointed in the a/c unit that continually shut on and off every 5 minutes during my sleep. I had a ten hour drive the next morning and didn't sleep well. There was also a shag convention while we were there. They set up tents in the pool area and although there were only a few people in the pool area they had all of the pool chairs and lounges under their tents. There was no place for my family to sit. Other than that it was located around restaurants and an antique mall so we were able to eat and walk around a bit before it was time for bed. I chose to stay at this Best Western after the wonderful experience I had at the Best Western in Knoxville a week prior.

"OUTSTANDING :-)"
My visit started with WONDERFUL customer service ~ Tavia at the front desk was cheerful & warmly welcoming ~ & even without a reservation she found me the "just right" room. After a 600+ mile day I was exhausted & really appreciated her help. My room was a lovely suite w/jacuzzi tub, 2 rooms with flat screen TV's in each, and fridge/micro. Bed was super comfortable with nice linens and lots of fat, fluffy pillows. Parking lot was well lit w/security cameras, so I felt my vehicle was safe. Slept well & although I didn't partake of the continental the next morning, everything looked delicious & it was well tended. Great room at a great price and will definitely be my first choice next time I'm in the area !!!

spacious room, breakfast was good with a good variety, nice lobby, close access to interstate and really close to new bass pro shop, beds pretty comfy, ice machine was down on our floor and the elevator was undergoing repairs so we had to use stairs which was not a problem for us but could be inconvenient for some. Staff was nice overall good experience

"Very helpful stop near the end of a long vacation"
Stopped at this location enroute to home in Florida. Small complication with attempted reservation by phone from highway, was overcome by most helpful staff who provided an upgrade to a suite to compensate. We really appreciated that.

"Not the Best"
The A/C was broken so the room was hot, the room was not clean, the bed hard as a rock, and the walls were very very thin. You could hear everything the other guests were doing. Oh and there were no pillows on the bed. Only throw pillows. Very strange indeed.

"budget stay"
We had a travel card from Best Western that was in danger of expiring. We decided to take a weekend trip to Chatanooga TN. We booked 2 nights at the BW Arbour Inn and Suites. The good about this hotel is the staff. Everyone I encountered had a big smile and a helpful attitude. The hotel itself is convenient to the Interstate but is a area that is in transition. The staff is doing their best with what they have but the hotel itself needs freshing up. New carpet , paint, some repairs would go a long way. There appeared to be some new development right up the street so maybe the hotel will benefit from some new cash. The beds were good the shower was good breakfast was what you expect. Overall for the money it was ok.
"Nice stay, clean"
We were traveling from Atlanta to Chattanooga and stayed a night here. Check in was quick and easy, parking was ample, staff was friendly. The room itself was basic, but nice and clean and quiet. The free breakfast was nice but nothing special. We would stay again.
"Excellent economical and convenient hotel for visitors to Chattanooga."
This hotel is well appointed and maintained with a caring, friendly, courteous and professional staff. It is near enough to Chattanooga, Lookout Mountain and Ruby Falls to be convenient and more economical than alternatives in Chattanooga. There are several good restaurants nearby. It is located far enough from I-75 to eliminate road noise and disturbance of a good night's sleep. We have stayed at this hotel previously and have chosen to make it our regular overnight stop when traversing I-% north and south bound.
"Not my most enjoyable stay"
I was not offered the same check in experience that other guests were offered. Upon entering my room it was not cleaned entirely. Getting the issue resolved led to even more frustration with front desk staff. Manager was very understanding and took it upon himself to ensure that I was taken care of for the night. Over all nothing was above and beyond.
"Not what you would expect from a PLUS hotel."
Front desk staff are not up to par. Room was ok, but nothing special. We were placed across from the ice machine- very noisy! The breakfast was just subpar, although that breakfast staff were at least nice to us.
"pretty pricey for the value"
This hotel was very expensive for the price. The seating area in the room was small. The decor was ok. Poolside patio was good for the most part there were some cigarette butts on the ground. The carpet seemed old or dirty. The shower curtain had a large stain on it.
"Worst stay at a hotel"
Things were broken tub, refrigerator and phone they wouldn't fix them I call several times only someone who came to fix anything was a lady from front desk and she was not mechanical I will never stay there again
"Nice budget Stay."
Nice budget place and good free breakfast. But no regular pillows without which really matters to me at-least. The room had small square pillow (not only me but all 7 of us were not used to it - only concern.) Otherwise nice stay !
"Dirty bathrooms"
The staff was pleasant enough and from the outside it appeared to be a decent hotel. The Lobby bathrooms were atrocious. Covered in fecal matter. The room bathroom had hair all over shower to make it appear it was never cleaned.
"never again"
Air conditioning did not work. All we got was a fan. BTW...it was a 90 degree day. :( The staff did not respond to the problem. I had to go to the front desk to pick up a fan. It was being used by the staff and was dirty.

"Pleasant Stay"
Excellent breakfast and professional General Manager & Associates. Italian/Greek "Portofino" restaurant recommended by Reginald, GM ~ awesome. Will book future reservations at this location. Wish there were at least a couple of umbrellas at the pool.

"Good stay"
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I had a complaint about the room, when we got there, because of allergies, the hotel clerk quickly handled it, got us another room within minutes, and we enjoyed the rest of our stay, We would stay here again, if ever back in Chattanooga.

"No internet in room"
Despite their claims to have free wifi,, apparently our room #100 was too far away from the signal. I had to work in the breakfast room to use the internet. If you want to stay on the floor with the front desk, breakfast room, etc., ask to stay on the second floor.

"Ehhhh...it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great"
Before I write the review, I'd like to say that Tavia at the front desk was one of the kindest people I've met. A massive storm had knocked out the power and they were swamped! Everything had to be done manually, and she kept her cool the entire time. She went out of her way to help out and she was incredible. That being said....the hotel itself is outdated. The walls were so thin I was able to listen to, and follow along with, the episode of Friends my neighbors were watching. We could hear everything! I really hope the lady on the other side of us was able to find her hair brush because she seemed really attached to it. Her husband said it wasn't a big deal though. The pull out bed in our King suite was a twin size and it was broken. We just pulled the mattress out and put it on the floor for one of the kids. The hotel does not offer roll away beds, but luckily, we had an air mattress in our truck. Breakfast was a standard affair. Nothing special or different than any other hotel breakfast. They had a pool, but we weren't able to fit in time to use it. No big deal. The hotel was incredibly pricey for what it was. The thin walls killed it for us, though. I don't want to listen to my neighbors any more than they want to listen to us.

"Okay for a One-Nighter"
We booked this hotel online simply because of the price. Well, the old adage, "You get what you pay for," is alive and well in this instance. The property is dated, but fairly well maintained. The phones flashed all night, so I just unplugged the one by the bed. We were upgraded to a suite, which was nice. The shower was impressive with a very nice shower head. The bed was nice enough, but the pillows could have been better. The breakfast might have been pretty good, but there wasn't enough left for us by the time we got there, (half an hour before closing.) It was quiet enough, being set back off the road enough. We would probably stay here again if pressed to it, but most likely would look for something a little better.

Good location to two major interstates, I-24 and I-75. Good room, Good full breakfast, excellent staff, good internet access. If you are traveling for business this is truly all you need. There are nearby cafes and if you have time some good entertainment in the downtown area. Excellent shopping in the Hamilton Place mall area.

"Not totally comfortable"
Stayed here on a Thursday night, arriving at dark. Desk personnel were slow to get guests checked in. My room was pretty up to date, but had a strong smell of perfume, and not good. Not sure if someone smoked in there, but it was distracting. Internet was just ok, TV had good channels, bed was good. Pretty average for a $100 room.
"Great Hotel"
Awesome comfortable convenience clean good amenities a Hotel Best Western Plus is awesome....pool and gym with free hot breakfast. Room with microwave, refrigerator and tv. Courteous fast efficient staff.
"short stay"
hotel was very clean plenty of staff working nice and secure property they need to keep the pool cleaner desk clerk was very nice and helpful nice breakfast room the rooms are arranged very well with the bedrooms being private with two tvs it was great
"Room was fine, rest of hotel was just ok"
We stayed here on a quick visit to see the Chickamauga battlefield. The hotel is an easy drive to the military park, and our room (a two-room suite, which was a nice surprise) was very comfortable. The rest of the hotel was dated and a little dingy, one of the elevators didn't work, ice machine on our floor didn't work, and the building's layout is really confusing, so I had trouble when I needed to go to an upper floor for ice trying to find the staircase or the alternative elevator. Same problem trying to find the exit closest to where we parked. Better hallway signage would help. Breakfast is included and pretty good.

"ok hotel"
The pictures on the website make the hotel look nicer than it really is. We weren't impressed with our room but it did the job. Our room had a funny smell upon arrival, the mini fridge made loud noise and the deadlock on the door was broken. Check in and out were quick and the staff were friendly.

Smells funny, very dark, hall's were hot and humid. Breakfast was Ok. Bed sucked felt like I laid on the floor. Very outdated and needs new capert!! Too expensive for what you see, they need to upgrade we will not ever stay here again!
"Very clean"
I enjoyed my stay in my hometown. Walking into the hotel was refreshing and very clean. My room was a king suite which was also clean with good space. The only issue was the ice machine on the 1st and 3rd floor did not work nor did the elevator on the 1st floor. Elevators that did work were squeaky and took a litttle long to open. Overall I loved my stay and will be there my next visit.

"Decent for price."
We just stopped for the night. We requested a roll away bed since we had 2 teenagers with us. The clerk at the front desk looked at me like I was crazy. They do not have any roll away beds. The kids enjoyed the pool. The room was suite-style with a small living area, bathroom and bedroom. The couch is not large enough for someone to sleep on and does not fold out. The cleanliness seemed fine. The decor and general property were both somewhat dated. The elevator did not work, but there were only 2 stories so it wasn't too incredibly inconvenient. The checkout clerk was very friendly, I can't remember his name, but he was thorough and I got the feeling he would not look at a customer like they were crazy for any request. Oh!! Breakfast did NOT disappoint. They had the usual hot breakfast items and cold breakfast selections and PLENTY to choose from!

"Hotel sucks!"
First off the hotel receptionist/manager/host/booking agent was alone when we checked there was no one else and needles to say she only had two arms and two legs so that made her very limited - next an internet connection slow or none rooms are filthy hair is in the sink, carpets hadn't been washed in the while but the room prices are high. For a king room with a pull out couch ( mattress had spots big enough to call dirty) we paid 100$+ tax. It almost felt like someone bought this crap hole hung a few photos in hallways to cover the outdated tapestry and went on to collect the profits and showed an absolute disregard to the customers needs,I have never seen such don't give a hoot about any of you just give me the money. Will never stay here again not even it is free.

We had a very pleasant experience at this hotel over our five night stay. The check-in was a breeze, the hotel was clean and welcoming, and the staff were terrific. The hotel was close to the interstates and easy to find. The room was very clean and everything was in great condition. The breakfast was really good and the coffee was too. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about our experience. If I ever need to rent a hotel in the Chatanooga area again , I will definitely book this one again.

"Outstanding Hotel"
We were highly impressed with this Best Western. Our King suite was perfect. The fiving area with TV was separate from the very comfortable living room and the half kitchen was perfect, and the jetted tub was a plus. Every thing was clean and in perfect order. The breakfast was a standard Best Western one except at this hotel the scrambled eggs were not overcooked. The front desk staff and service personnel were very polite and helpful. We had a very nice stay and look forward to staying with them again. Price for the room was excellent.

"Driving Through"
This hotel is just what we needed, nothing more and nothing less. The front desk lady was very nice. The room was fine, nothing special. It's nice to have a separate space so we could put our kids down for bed and get ready ourselves. We got in rather late after a 12 hr drive, so we all fell right asleep. The breakfast the next morning was not very appealing, so we headed down the road to McDonald's and ate in the car so we'd get a head start on our drive (this stop was the halfway point between home and our destination). Would we stay there again? Maybe. Should you expect a lot? Nope. But, it served a purpose!

"Very Accommodating!!!"
First, I would like to thank Lacey (Sales Rep) for all the hard work she did to make our team's trip a success. She went far and beyond every expectations to accommodate a baseball team staying at the hotel. Upon our arrival (5-20-17) we found out that the pool was still closed due to a chemical unbalance (normal for just opening the pool). Lacey knew that a baseball team full of 10 year old's wanted to swim between their tournament games, and couldn't at this location. Lacey made a few phone calls to Health Department to see if they could check the chemicals again and determine if they could open the pool. Unfortunately, the health department could not open the pool due to the chemicals being off. Lacey knew this could have been detrimental to a team full of kids. She called her other property (1/3 mile away) and told them that we were more than welcome to use their pool if the kids wanted to swim. Thank you Lacey for all your hard work and customer service to make our trip to your property a pleasant experience. Due to a 3pm check in time, most players and their families had arrived at 12pm (noon). We knew that we would not be able to check in early, and Lacey, again was there to rescue us. She let the team use one of their conference rooms in order to change and get in their uniforms because we had to be at Jack Mattox Field at 2pm (before check in time). Also, the hotel and rooms were very clean and neat. The rooms with a suite were very spacious and had the comfortable feeling to them. I will be calling Lacey again if we have another tournament in the area to set up accommodations. All hotel staff were very accommodating. THANK YOU!!

The hotel was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. It was loud beginning at 5:30 a.m., however that was due to a local youth baseball tourney that had several young players staying at the hotel and running the hall way early in the morning.

"Old and Tired"
This hotel is in definite need of updating and TLC...Furniture, carpet and fixtures are extremely old. However, room was clean and breakfast was standard. The handicap room was a little disappointing, there was only a grab bar in the bathtub (which was a jetted tub) and handicap toilet making for a difficult time for an 85 yr old stepping into it.

Good value, conveniently located and a pleasant place to stay. Excellent breakfast, with a wide variety of choices with plenty of protein included. Very comfortable rooms. WiFi service connection is plenty fast enough.

"Friendly staff- good motel"
the motel was great, and the staff was friendly; however there is a racetrack nearby and we could hear the cars until late in the night. This is probably only a problem on the weekend. I would prefer thinner pillows.

"Pleasantly Surprised!"
With reading some mix reviews i decided to give this hotel a chance based on a very good price in comparison to other hotels in the area! Hotel is pretty big, parking wasn't full but they gave us a room all the way at the hotels end, lots of walking from front desk to room considering we were there with 2 kids! Seriously no room closer to lobby? On top of that one of the elevators in the area from parking lot to our room didn't work so 2 kids and loads of stuff to carry 3 flights of stairs. In the morning we didn't make it for breakfast cause it turned out they serve it only till 9:30! Why not 10!? Like other normal hotels! Here seens they in rush to get you out of the door since when we came at 9:36 breakfast area was already cleaned up! Not even a toast or a bagel left! SUCKS! So those were bad things for me. On the positive side of things we got room at a good price, the room was clean and big, bed was comfy and parking lot well lit. They do have a pool but it was closed for the season! Given a chance im in the area, i like to say that i would give this place another go!

"Staff Made the Difference Here"
Octavia Kiser the desk person went above and beyond to make sure we had a clean comfortable room and anything else we needed after a long day on the road. This hotel is located just off the Interstate and easy to find. The room was a suite with King size bed w/TV, a sitting room w/TV, an efficiency kitchen and bathroom w/jacuzzi tub/shower. The carpets in the hallways looked worn but otherwise the place was very clean. Great selection of items on the breakfast bar.

"tired hotel in a tired town"
This community is actually East Ridge not Chattanooga proper and comments reflect just that small town. The best that can be said for the location was that it's an easy on/off from I75. It's across from the flea market and next to an RV dealer. There was very little choice in decent restaurants based on our walkabout. Bed was comfortable enough but hotel is tired. Breakfast was substandard. Next time northbound on I75 I will go about 10 minutes up the road where there seem to be plenty of hotels and restaurants.

"Excellent employees"
I stayed with my fiancé, and service animal. It was great how they respected me and my service animal. You do not find many hotels or motels now a days that goes out of their way to accomadate you and your service animal. The staff was wonderful. They made our stay great for everyone, including my service animal.

"Another average hotel room"
The breakfast offered was good and the coffee was excellent. Rooms needed to be cleaner but the bed was very comfortable. The only place within walking distance to eat was Wendy's so that was disappointing. There was a grocery store also across the street where we could get some fruit. Overall, average but acceptable.

"Great Night's Stay"
Spent one night here in April '17 enroute to Florida. Great place, friendly staff, clean and well-appointed room, comfortable bed. Great location right off I75 just north of the Tennessee-Georgia border. Fantastic hot breakfast included in very economical room rate. Their employee Dietrich works tirelessly to put out the best breakfast I've had in a hotel in a very long time...fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit and a variety of breads & bagels...superb! My only complaints, which were no big deal, that were the bathroom door would not properly latch, and the pillows on the bed were too thick. If they could offer maybe 2 different thickness pillows as many hotels do, it would give the guest an option. Again, not the end of the world. Would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend to others. Great job, Best Western Arbour Inn!!

"Very nice"
The hotel is clean and quiet. It is fairly large and strangely easy to get lost or very disoriented in the hallways (something I have never had an issue with at any other hotel). The staff was all very friendly and the rooms were very clean. The fitness facility needs some work done on the weight machine. Several of the cables for lifting the weights are very frayed and that is a safety hazard for certain. Breakfast was above average, the bacon was a little limp and the eggs seemed more like an Egg Beaters mix than actual scrambled eggs but overall a nice spread. Coffee variety was a nice addition to breakfast, you can choose a bold blend if you prefer it. Overall a very pleasant, I would be glad to stay there again.

"Great night"
Great stay the manager Ray was very accomdating I booked from a 3rd party and was giving a chance to choose my room type and Ray told me I had 2 double beds and I told him I needed a king with a couch and he gave it to me. The room was very spacious but needs some work done just a little remodeling but would stay here again soon

"Half way to Florida "
With two day long drives to Florida we really only need something clean and reliable but this hotel exceeded our expectations. Very clean and bed was very comfortable. As we arrived at the same time as two other groups it would be nice if they had more than one luggage rack but the desk clerk was very helpful in tracking the only one down. Lovely staff and very good complementary breakfast. The only complaint was that there was obviously a race track in operation in the area but we were too tired to notice for long. Would stay there again.

"Retired travelef"
I would stay there again with family. Room was quiet, although a short distance from I-75. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Hot breakfast was sufficient and tasty with a variety of coffees and food.

"Family of four"
Overall we stay for a night on our way to the north. The hotel is placed near to the high way and this is very helpful. The breakfast is poor, the staff at the breakfast is unhelpful. The overall process at the breakfast was too easy. But the general experience from the hotel are OK.
Melissa C, Guest Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Arbour Inn & Suites, responded to this review

"Pleasant stay!!"
The service was decent. Breakfast buffet can be much better. They took long time to refill the trays, and in the end they skipped few items. Room was well cleaned. If you want a room for short stay, you can pick this.

"Always some problem"
Hotel needs updated. Problem with room request and couldn't get the rear elevator to work. Had to walk full distance to the front elevator. Stayed here before and they took the breakfast away early. Knobs came off of fridge door one time. Drain plug didn't work once. Always seems to be a problem with info from the main reservation desk to the hotel. This trip I stayed at Arbour Inn Chattenooga and Circus City Peru and they both missed my room location request because the info was no passed on. Especially on a late arrival.

"Great room for an even better price!!"
Although a bit dated, and the carpets need a good shampooing; this hotel was phenomenal. We have two toddlers so we got a suite. Having the fully separate room to close the door for naps and at bedtime made it so easy for us to relax and hang out together. If we booked a normal room, we'd have had to be super quiet watching a movie or just have gone to bed super early every night. The breakfast is free - expect free breakfast quality. It was pretty good as far as FREE goes!! The staff is AMAZING. We stayed a full week and never had less than stellar experiences with everyone... great hotel within 20 mins of everything!!! Highly recommend!!
"Hotel needs alot of repairs"
Hot water didn't work in our room, pool was green not maintained, property needs alot of work. Breakfast was not good the manager was short handed running around making coffee and tending to the check out
"Interesting town"
Really appreciated the grab bars in the shower and small refrigerator. With no smoking and no pets my allergies were much better. The mattresses were very comfortable. The hotel was very clean. We enjoyed the walk across the bridge downtown. The bridge was not good for cars and trucks, but was fixed up for walkers, runners, and bicycles.
"Never again!"
We booked room to stay overnight after a full day of driving. Upon arriving in our room I noticed the carpet by the door was filthy but the room seemed ok so we threw our bags in and went to dinner. On ebay k from dinner I went to take a shower and noticed a huge crack in the bottom of the tub and pink mold surrounding all jets in the tub. By the time I finished my very quick shower I began sneezing uncontrollably. I assumed it was due to mold in the shower. I then noticed that the top of the headboard was covered in dust. I wiped it off with a towel. Included in the dust were a large booger and several "short and curlies." This is when we began to inspect the room and found the air intake was COVERED in dust (see pic). Our "fresh remote" had a hair on it that obviously did not come from any of us. And if that weren't enough, our bed had many stains on the top cover. There are also many stains on the bathroom ceiling, not near the shower. Can't wait what management has to say...
"Good value"
For what you pay, it was good value. Free parking/ wifi/ breakfast/ gym. Somewhat unhelpful people behind the desk but still worth staying here. Wifi was great. Location not the best. Would stay again.
"Great check in!"
I didn't get the name of the lady that checked me in,but she was very helpful. Good breakfast to start the day. Told us of restaurants in the area which helped because we checked in later at night. Very friendly staff!
"First and last time"
Viewing photos of this venue on the internet it looks like a first class hotel. Staying at this venue is another story. Our reunion group (50-60) people scheduled this venue well in advance of our stay. On our arrival, the key access from the back door did not work. The elevator was inoperable on several occasions and our room key did not work on more than one occasion. Especially annoying when trying to get into our room at 1:00am. Breakfast was another story. Same food every day, dried scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and hash brown potatoes that were overcooked. The pancake maker was out of commission the whole four days of our visit. On the other hand, our accommodations were comfortable and roomy.
"Good Value"
We enjoyed this hotel on edge of chattanooga. Breakfast was good , employees were all nice and friendly. beds were comfy. The bathroom had a few hairs in it but overall very clean. We would stay again!
"Poor A/C maintenance"
First room had no working A/C. Was moved to another room, a bit cooler and went to eat. Upon returning, the room was no cooler then when it was left. Was tired and didn't want to change rooms again. Opened A/C closet and it was filthy, looked like filter had not been changed in a year. Coils were iced over. Left door open for more air flow which made it tolerable.
"Great staff, hotel smells old"
PROS:The staff were very friendly and welcoming and when we ran into a couple issues, they were taken care of quickly. We had a king suite and really put the little fridge to use. The outside pool looked nice and clean. CONS: The bathroom didn't have a fan (so if you have to take a big poop, it's not going to be a secret). The carpets looked and smelled old and the pullout couch was only twin size, although very comfortable. The king size bed wasn't soft enough to throw yourself on but we slept like a baby so it couldn't have been too bad. Breakfast bar...it was a no go for me. Sausage tasted fake, eggs tasted fake, the coffee was fabulous, and the other muffins/donuts were good. There were biscuits and gravy but the way the sausage and eggs tasted, I didn't want to go there. Overall it was fine and didn't have any big issues.
"Stop over while traveling"
Stayed two nights in a suite to site see during a week of traveling. We were looking for a place along I-75 on the south east side of Chattanooga as we were stopping to ride the Tail of the Dragon, and see Lookout Mtn and Ruby Falls while in town. This hotel was in a good location for us with plenty of parking to park a trailer and stow it for a day while we rode Motorcycles. Check in was quick and simple, the lobby seems a bit dated and the carpets are a dark pattern and either need a good shampoo or replaced soon this was also evident thru the hallways. Upon entering our suite the wear and tear on the carpets and furniture was much better but felt the floors could have been vacuumed better and air vents needed dusted or cleaned. Our room did have two large Lcd tv's although we felt the two room suite had very small rooms it was nice to be able to separate when people wanted to sleep or watch something different on tv. We did find the beds to be comfy. Also provided was complimentary breakfast with eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and most the regular items but no waffle makers and the pancake maker was out of order. All in all breakfast was just ok and we skipped it our second day to get on the road. All in all not a bad stay but we will probably try other options if in the area again.
"Great Room But HIGH EMF Sensitivity"
After getting comfortable in our room, I detected a growing EMF sensitivity. I determined it may have been EMF sensitivity to Wifi but it could have been an overlapping of accumulated wifi signals from the area. Did not sleep as well despite the comfort of the bed. There will be a greater demand for EMF FREE rooms in the future once the public knows about the dangers of accumulated transmissions of cell towers, cell phones, smart meters, wifi, etc weakens the body and causes cancer.
"Perfect!"
Loved this place! The staff was very friendly! I had a meeting on the afternoon we checked out and requested a late checkout and they accommodated us! Breakfast was good even though we got Down there close to time for it to be over.
"Stained Sheets on Bedding!"
I usually stay at Best Western hotels as they have been nice at a nice price, but this one is terrible! The sheets on the bed were stained, nasty! The bathroom was in disrepair. The bathtub was very old and I almost slipped as it was not flat on the bottom. The acoustic tiles above the tub were very stained and sagging as if the water leaked down from the bathroom above. I would not ever stay there again.
"Good Stay"
Choosing a hotel in a city where you never stayed is like rolling dice, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. This particular hotel is actually pretty good. I would consider it more a pass through than a destination hotel meaning folks are more likely to stop overnight on their way down to Florida which is good for you because it is relatively quiet well into the evening. Accomodations are what you would expect at a BW, clean rooms, attendant staff and so on. There are dining options in the immediate area so you don't have to travel far at all. Reasonably close to downtown and Northern Georgia attractions. You can't go wrong staying here.
"It could have been worse"
I was very disappointed with our stay. There were four of us with two different rooms. You could tell that the walls were recently painted but the carpet needed cleaned very bad. Our friends room wasn't totally cleaned as they had trash left from the guest before them and it never was removed. The lower floor where you come in from the pool had a musty smell. The breakfast offered several items but was unable to find anything other than pancakes and muffins that was that good..... I would suggest sticking to the boxed cereal. The hotel was located very close to expressway and close access to many restaurants......not many choices of restaurants close by without using the highway for about 4 miles.
"Great place for a reunion"
We had our Vietnam Trans and Guntrucker reunion there August 8 to 13. Ray and his staff made it a great success. The full breakfast was excellent, not often you see Gravy Biscuits. They provided us a very large area for us to meet each day. All we had to do is ask and they provided. Chattanooga tourist service provided information and Moon Pies for the group each day. Thank You .
"Happy to Stay, Sad to go."
Excellent place for a few days visit. The warm and friendly staff were quick to answer any questions I had and never made me feel pressured for anything. Great stay, thanks to all. Employees like this are reasons why Best Western is the top place to stay and they are the reason its called "BEST" Western!
"Stay at Best Western Plus Arbour Inn & Suites"
Was very pleased with the stay and will do it again . Arrived early and the room wasn't ready , so we were upgraded to a suite . Loved it , very relaxing ,clean and quiet .We were coming from Fl. and it was a twelve hour drive. All I wanted to do is take a nap and when they said the room wasn't ready and then quickly said they would upgrade . Happy very happy ,Thank you !!!!!!!
"GREAT PRICE,GREAT STAFF, GREAT STAY"
We purchased a Groupon for our stay this past weekend. The amenities were great, the location was about 10-15 mins from downtown and the mall! We stayed in a king suite, the only surprise was the twin pull out but it worked out well. There were not any linens in the room for the twin pull out, but once I called for them, the staff brought them up with extra towels within 5 mins! We did not go to pool, but I thought it was nice that they allowed the pool to stay open a little late. The continental breakfast was nice as well! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
"Overnight Stay"
Building, Room and amenities were excellent. Hot breakfast was very good. Plenty of choices. Staff was helpful and Friendly. The Security around the facility was great. No need to fear any unwanted persons entering the facility.
"Great place"
The staff was friendly and room was clean! The refrigerator in room did not work well but everything else was good! They serve a large breakfast every morning. Hotel is located in a good area and had a nice pool. Lady at front desk was very helpful.
"A smelly out dated sauna of a hotel"
This place does not have proper ventilation and climate control in the shared spaces of this hotel. The rooms are terribly outdated and have barely functioning AC units. Our ceiling had a leak and the beds were as stiff as a board.
"Pretty nice"
Very helpful and friendly staff. Only negatives were not enough towels for number in party and the tub drain was very slow and backed up while showering. Breakfast was your typical selection however when I went to get coffee only Decaf was available as the other urns were empty.
"Worst Hotel Stay Ever"
Upon check in the hotel had apparently zero air conditioning in the first floor hallway. The security system would not open the back door. Fortunately a helpful fellow guest told us a good yank on the door would open it. Entering the room the light would not turn on because there was no bulb. There were also no washcloths in the bathroom. When we tried to call the front desk, the phone did not work. The bathroom had a large red stain on the floor, the shower safety bar was about to come out of the wall, and you could see where the soap dish had been pulled from the wall. Additionally the door security latch was broken. Then housekeeping decided to skip our room completely the next day. When I reported it, I was basically called a liar by the front desk. At least they took a night's charges off our bill.
"Stay away until they get it together"
Understaffed hotel led to several missteps starting at check-in. Rooms not clean, no after hours maid staff, front desk clerks had too many tasks to be effective at primary job. I waited two hours on a lobby sofa for a room booked a month ago. Rooms shoddy - though hotel had a makeover. They covered problems with their update. Friends had rooms with no A/C. Towels and linens were sparse and had to wait on laundry to be done. TP was given out on an as needed basis.
"OK Hotel"
The front desk staff and manager are very nice and helpful. The breakfast was always good and the breakfast staff were nice. The room we stayed in needed updates. The shower had black mold around the chaulk. The walls had splotches of different colored paint. The cleaning staff does not do a good job. One of the vents was extremely dusty. We found candy wrappers, fake eye lashes, and poster board left over from a previous guest. There was also two voice mails left on the phone for a booty call.
"Clean and comfortable "
Sometimes there were loud noises (banging sounds in the hall) and not perfectly clean but overall a good stay in Chattanooga. It is a lower priced hotel so don't expect the Ritz. That said, pretty good for the price. I would still recommend it.
"Best breakfast, Clean Comfy room"
Stayed at 5 different hotels on our vacation. this was by far the best. Room was clean, breakfast very good, lots of options and very good coffee. Also had real cream not the pre fab plastic crap most places have today!
"Good value for money"
Stayed for 3 nights.. Very clean, good breakfast, nice pool. Ask for extra towels as housekeeping doesn't provide enough when they clean. Within 15 to 20 minute drive of many Chattanooga attractions via I-75 and I-24. Plenty of eateries within a short drive and a grocery store across the street.
"Best Western MINUS would be more appropriate"
OK so I admit it, I don't know what the "Plus" is supposed to mean, however I do know that years ago "Best Western" didn't mean much to me and I avoided them. Last year we tried a Best Western PLUS in Pennsylvania and was incredibly surprised at how great it was... so "PLUS" to us just meant much better than the regular old best western. If it is supposed to mean something else I will blame their brand for not engraving what that is in my head. But there was nothing "Plus" about this hotel. When we arrived (which was late probably around 11 pm) and got to our room it was about 85-90 degrees with the AC turned off. We turned that on immediately and it probably took a good solid 3 hours to cool the room off to a decent level. The pillows were nice the beds were not and needed replacing. The staff was friendly enough but the workout room doubled as a sauna as well (this must be their money saving ideas in the works). The overall hotel wasn't that super clean; the coffee machine in the room was like dusty or something but I wasn't about to make a coffee in it (hint to staff: better to not offer a coffee machine than dirty ones). The breakfast wasn't anything like the other one we stayed in and was on the minus side as well. Would probably try to avoid this in the future and this hotel should be stripped of their PLUS as they are really soiling the brand.
"Disappointed"
I would not recommend this hotel. Check-in went smooth enough, but the room was dark and dingy. The bathroom had clearly not been cleaned well, as there was a long strand of hair and soap residue in the shower; also, a good deal of mildew on the shower curtain - gross. Moreover, the a/c unit, which is housed in a locked door within the room, rattled constantly. My room happened to be right off the pool, which created a lot of noise. The pool officially closes at 10:00pm, but I had to call the front desk because kids were making so much noise in the pool and well after 10pm. For what I paid, I was expecting a much cleaner and quiet room - especially coming from a Best Western PLUS. Room, though unclean, was fairly updated with two TVs, but the rest of the hotel needs a renovation.
"We would stay again!"
We stayed here and found this place to be really great! Our room was much bigger than most rooms we have stayed in. It had two televisions and a separate area with a small couch. The room was cleaned up very well! The staff there really did work hard to make sure everything was great! The breakfast consisted of gravy, biscuits, sausage, cereals, and oatmeal. I was pleased with the breakfast. They had plenty available when we ate. The staff were very helpful, and we would definitely stay there again. We liked that it was away from all the chaos down town. I really didn't mind driving. We would definitely stay here again!
"Very comfortable :)"
We're used to staying in 4 star hotels when we travel, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Overall, I'm satisfied. When arriving I was weary because it was so hot in the hallways, and behind the door in the bathroom, the floor wasn't clean...But after I turned on the ac and got to relax, it wasn't so bad. The input selections on the tvs are voided so you can't connect anything to the tv, heads up. The beds were very comfortable and it was super convenient to have a fridge and microwave in our room. Breakfast did its job, we didn't have to go out to eat. Close to the highway. Luckily, I didn't have a problem with housekeeping as it sounds so many people did. We would leave and come back to a clean room. I'd stay here again.
"Didn't like surrounding area"
I like to stay at hotels within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. You have to have a car and most shops were either family dollar, dollar general and drugstores. The rooms were ok but the suite sofa is not a sleeper sofa like most hotels. The room was clean but during our 4 day stay, we never knew when house cleaning was coming. They came at 7:00 pm one night and the next day they were knocking on our door at 10:00AM. The hotel is only 10 minutes away from downtown & ruby falls via expressway (I-75). I would suggest waiting until after 9:00 AM to go to tourist attractions and not going back to your hotel until after 7:00PM. Traffic any day on the expressway is terrible otherwise. Front desk personnel was great. Blake was great. Wish they had waffles. The pancakes were terrible.
"No Clean Towels on the Property"
There were no clean towels available when we checked in. Manager of the cleaning crew gave me too many reasons why they did not have any ready. She also told me that one of her employees were mad at her because she keeps catching him half cleaning the rooms and one of the rooms happened to be the one we were staying in. They do not wear uniforms so we were afraid to open the door when someone tried to drop some towels off after 8:00PM. There was only one professional employee on the premises while we were there and that was the gentlemen who checked us in and checked us out.
"Average Hotel"
We stayed in a double/double suite for four nights. The layout was nice - having a separate bedroom and sitting area was convenient. However the decor and furniture was not up to date. The location was easy to get to off the interstate and several restaurants in the area. But the most frustrating item was that our rooms were not cleaned properly for two nights. Either missing towels, not removing the trash or making the beds. When I spoke with the night manager on the second occurrence he blamed the miss for having a do not disturb sign on the door when the maids passed by. However we left (and remove the sign) in plenty of time for the room to be clean. In fact, someone did come in our room to repair the broken toilet seat and removed the dirty towels but did not replace or complete the cleaning of the room.
"1/2 effort from housekeeping"
Room was not cleaned adequately upon arrival. Leftover food from the last guests, floors not vacuumed, toilet clogged, not a single towel, and ice bucket full of water. When the front desk was informed only a portion of the aforementioned were corrected. Many of the other guests had similar difficulties.
"Family celebration"
Hotel staff put us in a suite rather than a regular room since we both have issues walking long distance. The suite was closest to the lobby, making for a short walk and the price was the same. Thanks
"Another great stay at BW"
Location was hard to find, passed it just as I spotted it. Clean exterior, clean and pleasant lobby/dining area. Friendly helpful staff. Outdoor pool, did not get a chance use it. Many local eateries. Room was nicely laid. Average breakfast. easy checkout.
"Overnight"
The rooms were not ready until after 4 pm. When we arrived there was a horrible smell permeating the room and hallway. I did not recognize the sickening odor. We were exhausted so I opened the patio doors and got rid of a lot of the odor. The room was very clean and nice. There were no linens for the sofa beds. We got the linens about 9 o'clock. They had been very busy. I saw no employees-only one desk clerk who did it all. She was super nice but very short handed. The next morning we had breakfast in a super nice set up. Everything was delicious. I especially liked the patio that looked over the pool. The pool was very clean. I would stay here again.
"Not worth the price"
We stayed here on the way from Florida to Nebraska, and at that point we had stayed at five different hotels. This was easily the worst. Why they charge as much as they do, I have no idea, and the fact that they qualify as a PLUS is a joke. The desk clerk was in the parking lot when we pulled up. He ran past us to get behind the desk and then barked out, "last name!" I was appalled. Who does that? After driving for eight hours, I expected a little better. He tried to explain that he said that because he was trying to get us checked in faster. Then he went on a diatribe about how Facebook is the enemy and how doesn't trust the internet. This was the weirdest checkin I have ever had. Aside from that, the elevator was making noises, the A/C unit was loud, the door handle on the bathroom was broken, the carpets are filthy, the bathroom hairdryer didn't work, and the toilet clogged up on our way out. The hotel is located in a sketchy area right by a fireworks store. There is nowhere to eat except Wendy's, and to get anywhere else, you have to get back on the interstate. We will never stay here again.
"Great place right outside Chattanooga!"
One thing I value most at a hotel is cleanliness, and this place was very clean. The room was pretty large, and for the price, I would definitely stay again. My friend and I just drove downtown to the Choo Choo and rode the shuttle everywhere. The drive to it was about 10 minutes, but the hotel stays pretty quiet. I really enjoyed it!
"Average or below"
For over $100 per night for a double room, this hotel is average or below. Hallways and elevator are dirty and hot. AC in the room was off on arrival, so room was stuffy. I cleaned the AC filter myself, improving the airflow immensely. I'm glad I carry Windex and paper towels in my truck because I had to clean the bath counter and floor myself. Counter was just dirty. Floor was mopped with too much soap, so it was slippery and shoes left prints. There is cable TV, but don't expect HD TV, not here. I've stayed at much better for less money. We will stay the night because we're tired and other hotels in the area are apparently booked (a sign?). We'll look elsewhere the next time we're in the area.
"Good... needs updated... soon!"
We stayed two nights. first night they sent us to a room that wasn't cleaned from the previous visitors, but they fixed it fast and gave us a new room. Great service. Breakfast was good but they had a much better breakfast at the Best Western Plus in Knoxville. The hotel is dated, very dated. The hotel was fine, but I felt like I needed a pair of bell bottoms and a flared collar. The most important part was it was quiet, and comfortable.
"Needed a thorough vacuuming"
We stayed here while passing through Chattanooga on our way to Florida. The size of the suite was good and the layout was great - I could get ready in the morning without disturbing the others but I don't think it had been vacuumed recently, otherwise it was decently clean. The breakfast had a nice selection and was filling.
"Best Best Western Ever!"
This Best Western was clean, spacious, friendly, and had a very nice breakfast. Bed was comfortable. By far, this was the best hotel we have stayed at in many years! I highly recommend it if you are in the area of Chattanooga.

"Nice place to stay for a good nice sleep (Quiet & Good Free Breakfast)!"
We stopped here for a couple of nights on the way to Florida. Nice clean room, staff are friendly and good free breakfast! It's not far from Ruby Falls. There's a Wendy's across the street. Quiet area. I will definitely stay here again in the future. Highly Recommendable!
"Bad"
Bloody sheets, moldy shower curtain, and faulty AC unit. DO NOT STAY HERE Here are some more characters so i can post this review. The stay was bad due to the uncleanness of the room. For the price we paid the room should at least be clean.
"Great stay"
Checked in for seven nights. Was upgraded to one of the king suite rooms. Check in was quick and easy. All staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and CLEAN!! If you are in the area for a weekend or overnight trip but don't want outrageous rates but still be close to everything, this is your stop!

Dear, Rachel W. I am glad we were able to accommodate your families needs and everything was an easy process for you. Thank you for all of your compliments. Your feedback is very much appreciated. We hope to see you very soon.
"Home Away From Home"
Our stay at the Best Western Plus Arbour Inn & Suites, East Ridge, TENNESSEE was perfect. We've found our home away from home for now on when we come to visit family. The hotel staff was great and I would highly recommend staying here when you are in the Chattanooga area. Thanks for making our stay great.

Dear David S., I am delighted that you and your family have found comfort in our Best Western Plus and we definitely look forward to continuing accommodating you and your family in the future. Thank you for all of your nice compliments. I hope to See You guys very soon.
"Stay here when visiting Cahttanooga!"
After an awful BW we stayed here. How nice it was. The loss of sleep from the prior BW was made up here. Clean, updated. Good breakfast. We had a suite (we are rewards members - didn't pay extra) and had two TV's. Since I was tired and slept my husband had a TV to watch in the other room.
Alicia L, Public Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Arbour Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Northfield, I am very sorry to hear you had a bad experience at one of the other best westerns but I am very pleased we were able to make up for it. Thank you very much for the recognition we appreciate it very much. We do our very best to accommodate all guests and I am very glad you were so pleased with us. We do hope to see you back again very soon.
"2nightstay in april16"
Hotel is ideally located 8 miles south of downtown away from the morning and afternoon traffic. Rooms were clean sheets smelled fresh and induced me to a great sleep. Breakfast bar is good with all of your typical items wanted for a great day to began. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only problem is the doorstop in the bathroom is in the middle of the floor presenting a possible trip hazard and the tub has no grit to help stop slipping while taking a shower.
Alicia L, Public Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Arbour Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Howard A., Thank you very much for your feedback. I am glad you mentioned these problems because they are definitely concerning and we will do our very best to make improvements for a future visit. We appreciate feedback from our guests so we can fix these issues for you as well as our other guests so thank you for bringing this to my attention. We hope to see you back again soon.
"Great Stay"
Staff here were excellent. Check in was fast and easy. Hotel lobby can use an uplift but it was clean. Rooms are very spacious. Room was clean and for the most part quiet. The breakfast area was well stocked. Good selection of food. I was riding a motorcycle, staff let me park under the canopy. Thank you ! Highly rated hotel.
"Clean, quiet, comfy room."
This hotel is an unusual design, with a more modern style of architecture. We were surprised to find that our room would be on the lower floor, but it was the right place to be -- close to the elevator and with a private patio with iron table & chairs over-looking the pool area. (We did not use the patio, because of our late afternoon arrival.) The room was large with a separate nook for the desk, close to the full glass patio doors. Free wifi was available. The bed was comfortable and the linens were fine. The decor was sleekly modern. The room was very quiet. In fact, I was surprised to see at breakfast how many people were staying there. Breakfast is in a large, somewhat sprawling lobby, with plenty of seating. The breakfast was entirely satisfactory. We do not eat the hot foods, because we try to follow our heart-friendly diet on the road, so I cannot comment on those items. The staff we encountered were all helpful and courteous, although we had little interaction other than at check-in and out.
"Excellent sleep. Poor breakfast. "
My husband and I were traveling through to Savannah and stopped here for the night. To start, Blake at the front desk was super awesome. Helpful and friendly. Staff can sometimes make or break a first expression and he did an awesome job. This hotel is unassuming outside. It is not the newest, most modern, or nicest BW Plus you will find. That being said, it was clean and the bed was comfortable and my husband and I both slept very well. The breakfast on the other side of all this was absolutely inedible. There was not one item, including the cereal and coffee that I could choke down. This is not completely unusual for hotel breakfast, but this one was pretty bad. Overall, I would recommend this hotel because breakfast is not a deal breaker for me. Everything else was well worth the price we paid.
"Great Stay!"
This is the second time staying here and better than the first! The hotel is always quiet and staff friendly and helpful with finding restaurants. The breakfast area is HUGE and the breakfast the best we've had on the road. This should be a Best Western Plus place! Very clean and very restful!
Alicia L, Public Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Arbour Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Richard S. i am very pleased that you have stayed with us before and chose to visit us again. I am happy to hear your stay was enjoyable and better than the first. Hope to see you back again soon. Sincerely, Erika Burroughs
"Great service! Good breakfast! Very clean! Smallish beds."
My family of 4, boys 16 & 10, had a nice stay here. Friendliness of all staff was top notch! The beds are larger than a full, but smaller than a queen, it was a little cramped, but we're used to a king.
Alicia L, Public Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Arbour Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Kathy V. , thank you very much for your compliment of our staff. I am very glad you enjoyed your stay with us i do wish that our beds had been a little more accommodating to you and your family but i do hope too see you back again soon. Sincerely, Erika Burroughs
"Front Desk"
I am from Knoxville TN and I didn't know anyone here my ride was 4 hrs late getting me I was actually not guest here and I came into the lobby freaked out and Blake which was the one working was more than Amazing he went above and beyond his duties to help me my phone was completely dead and I had no charger so I went over to the family dollar and got a charger but no wall plug so here I set no way to charge my phone he found me a wall plug and leyt me set in the lobby until my ride finally showed up instead of outside and use the computer while he was extremely busy in the lobby with calls and other duties he needs to be recognized fro his hospitality and very generous attitude because of him is whu I am going to get a room.
"Never Again"
On our first experience with this hotel, we overlooked a couple problems and thought it was ok. But this time it failed again and we will not stay here again. The reasons for the bad experience were 1) The room was not made up by 6:30PM; 2) It you stay here avoid Room 121 noise from the equipment outside by the window and 3) fire cracker noise from the RV's next door. The management apologized and did not charge us, but it was too late, a real uncomfortable night trying to sleep.

"Really nice place"
I was really happy with this hotel. the separate bedroom and overall layout was great. The bed was very firm and I loved it. The hotel was super clean overall and very quiet. I was too early in the season for the pool, the deck area looked great.
"Disappointing"
We are usually easy people to please, but our recent stay was so disappointing. We arrived late at night, just before 10pm, exhausted after a difficult day driving and were too tired to make our needs known after checking into our room. But our expectation was that we should not have had to ask for anything. To arrive in our room to find there was no soap to wash hands, no hand towels, only 2 bath towels (when we had even confirmed 4 people staying) was really unacceptable. Yes, we could have called or gone to the front desk, but it was late, our kids needed to get to sleep and so did we. When we booked our room, from the description, we were expecting 2 double beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was the reason we booked the room as a double bed is really too small to share between 2 adults. But there was no sofa bed or hide-a-way bed to be found. The beds were uncomfortable and tiny. Even a simple thing like the alarm clock not being plugged in made us feel as though we were not expected, and the room had not been prepared for us, despite booking several days in advance. We did enjoy the breakfast in the morning, which was the reason we chose this hotel in the end - many of the hotels in the area did not seem to include breakfast in a stay.
"Great breakfast "
We stayed three nights for a conference. The rooms were large and in need of an update. The cleaning was ok. I did find a used band aid on the floor. I am sure they were having a shift change when we checked in as the front desk lady did not show up for about 30 minutes- and then she came in from the parking lot as she had just arrived- but when she got there - she was nice. The breakfast was definitely above average- eggs biscuits and gravy- overall a good stay.
"Awesome service"
Great place to stay. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. We had two rooms and the only problem was that one of the rooms didn't have great Wi-Fi service. We were only there for a night, but I would stay there again. This BW is much nicer than the other one in Chattanooga.
"Quick stop"
We just stayed here for an overnight stay on our way to Atlanta and Florida. The rooms were nice, but the carpets need some work. The breakfast was pretty good. Reginald at the desk was great! We had problems printing our tickets for the Georgia Aquarium on the lobby computer and he helped us out. Nice guy.
"Nice and secluded "
We stayed here on our way down to Florida and it was berry decent for the price. It's tucked away off the highway, so there is no traffic sounds. The only thing is beds were tiny. Breakfast was ok, not 5 star but decent. I would recommend to anyone
"Great property but noisy"
I have stayed at this property in the past with no issues, however, this stay did not match the past experiences. On arrival, there were no standard rooms available, yet the parking lot was only 1/4 full. I am not sure of the reason but accepted an upgraded room for additional cost. The room was beautiful and very roomy, however, there was noise all night. The breakfast bar was traditional, but the toaster was not working and despite alerting the front desk person, there was no replacement. Overall, just an ok visit.
"Overnight stay !"
This is a nice place, good location with a great staff! Our king room was very nice, roomy and comfortable. Breakfast as always at a Best Western is good. Very pretty lobby. Even though we traveled farther than we planned and could not get a reasonable rate in Nashville, we drove on into Chattanooga and was worth it.
"afforable"
this hotel was very clean the bathrooms and guest rooms were clean the staff was very friendly and knowable and fair. the conference center was clean and everything was put according with our contract. very nice and clean hotel i rate this 5 stars.
"OK For the First Time"
When we arrived, the room was not what we expected. So we talked to the Manager and we received a very nice room with a view of the outside pool. Service was very good and we enjoyed the breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.
"Wonderful Customer Service and Value"
The man who checked us in, Blake if I remember correctly, was extremely helpful. I'm pretty sure he has a master's degree in customer service. He answered all my questions at check-in and gave me perfect directions to our room (I think he has the entire hotel memorized). Shortly after we got our things in and were going to settle in for the night I got a phone call from the front desk. It was Blake letting me know that I had left the interior lights to our van on. I'm sure the battery would have been drained the next morning if he hadn't called me. Later, I went up stairs to ask where I could get some ice. He told me, but then got ice for me as well at a more convenient location that I didn't have access to (the kitchen area). What was even more amazing to me was the scenario I was intruding upon when I came to ask for some ice: I heard Blake talking to an older guest who was having trouble accessing the internet. Blake was on the phone with him and told him, "No, don't come out here. I know you're trying to get to bed. I'll come to your room. You can hand me your tablet through the door, and I'll type in our password to access the internet." That is absolutely top tier customer service. We were staying at a Best Western (which is actually in our price range); but we were treated like we were staying at a Ritz Carlton. The cook and assistant manger who checked us out were also both friendly and helpful. :)
"Be cautious staying at this motel"
This motel did not reserve the room we ask for and thought we would receive. We asked for a queen and got a double. The room and bed linens were not clean. The clock was broken. The pool is outside and closed. The breakfast was good as were the managers, on checkout.
"Always a pleasure"
Mr. Ray makes your visit a 10! every time. Great people, great rooms, and nice breakfast. This is a good location off of I-75. It is easy on and easy off. Restaurants are across the street. Close to a grocery, also.
"Disappointed night"
I was very happy to get a room on the first floor because of a bad knee but was disappointed when went to take a shower and was unable to get any hot water. With wet feet I walked on the bathroom floor that was very dirty. Need to be more intensive to the rooms cleaning.
"Very nice"
We reserved a suite. The room was very large and nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was extremely clean. I would stay there again if I get back in the area. The suite was a good value. It was about the price we would normally pay for a regular King.
"Good Value"
I was passing thru and stayed 1 night. Check in and out was easy. The room could have been cleaned a lot better but the bed linens were clean. Breakfast was okay. Wi-Fi Internet worked just fine. You can park a big rig here.
"You get what you pay for"
Stayed there two nights ago, check in was quick and smooth. The room was nice enough, but there were some little things. The bathroom floor had a huge puddle, had to use a full sized towel to soak it all up. The shower was leaky, but I am not sure if the puddle was from that or the toilet. There was a weird clump of hair stuck to the wall, directly above the guest directory on the desk. Basically guaranteed that you would see it there. The directory itself was kind of funny, right on the first page was a list of prices in case you stole anything. Of course it was worded nicely, but it was a price list for everything not bolted down. My wife picked a few hairs out of the sheets, and there was one long, dark hair stuck UNDER the sheet. We had to reach under the fitted sheet to pull it out. So it clearly wasn't one of ours. The sheets and pillowcases smelled very fresh and clean, so that made us feel better. We were excited that there was a fridge in the room. The bedding was pretty thin, and there was not an extra blanket in the closet, as most hotels have. Breakfast was pretty disappointing. The pancake was super thin and spongy. The eggs were disgusting and powdery. Luckily they had a good enough cereal selection of fruit loops, frosted flakes, and raisin bran. But, we only paid $45 for the night through Hotwire. So, you get what you pay for. It was fine, and for the price, I would stay there again.
"Not bad for one a one night stay"
I stayed here overnight for a rest stop as part of a two-day journey. Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel and room. The only thing that I noticed was that the bathroom floor could have used a better cleaning and there were a few long hairs on the towels that did not belong to me. A little attention to detail would have taken care of this. Otherwise, it was a comfortable and quiet stay. It is a perfect stop for someone needing an overnight rest.
"Great value. Huge suite. Quite room."
Booked this on Hotels Tonight app and was not disappointed. We got there a little after midnight. Easy transaction and great breakfast for the money. Big suite. Don't expect $300/night finishes, it was fine for passing through on our way back from FL. It was clean and quite, just what we needed.
"Disappointed "
Decided to do an overnight on our way back to Florida & chose this place due to customer reviews. Rooms were outdated, parking lot was suspicious, & the room overall was not what was expected at all. Our downtown hotel was almost the same cost as this place & this was not worth the amount we paid. Luckily we called the morning of because we reserved 2 queens, but actually the beds were full size. Requested a king with pullout sofa, come to find out there are only 2 rooms that can accommodate a pullout couch, the rest only have loveseats! Pls beware of this place...all the good reviews must be from family & friends of employees.
"Great value!"
We had a great stay here. The staff was very quick, professional, and helpful. The room was clean smelled fine and was well furnished. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. There only a couple areas that could have made the stay better. The pillows for the beds were all the same fill, some options would be nice. The bed I slept in seem to have a slight depression on one side (not horrible I just slept on the other side of the bed. A hot water tap instead of a hot water container that had to be refilled would have made breakfast go smoother. This was a great value and we would definitely stay here again. The above issues are definitely not deal breakers just things that would have made our stay even more enjoyable.
"great value and comfortable"
We stayed here twice in two weeks, and found the room and facility to be excellent. The staff was friendly and efficient, the room and bed were comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was good with sausage, eggs, fruit, and the usual cereals. It deserves the Plus designation.
"Always a great place to stay"
Wonderful breakfast: there is a wide variety of breakfast items; hot & cold cereals, eggs, meat, sausage gravy, biscuits, coffee, tea, fruits & juices, waffles, etc . The rooms are spacious and clean, great staff, no matter when I arrive, there is always a smile and friendly greeting as well as the same upon checkout...I will stay here any chance I get!
"Excellent stay!"
From booking my stay at the hotel to check out, my experience at Best Western Plus Arbour Inn & Suites was excellent! The customer service that I received on the phone from Lydia, Blake, & Mr. Ray was exceptional! We were in town for my fiancee birthday and they received flowers on my behalf to surprise her. Even went as far as delivering them to the room. The room was clean, comfortable, & cozy! The location of the hotel was perfect for us simply because it was only 10-15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. When we go back to Chattanooga, we will definitely stay here again!
"It's a Best Western."
Check-in was greeted with an unfriendly greeting. Not just me. Everyone that came in afterwards. I had to ask about everything I needed to know. Very little info was offered. It's an old building that is in pretty good shape. Bathtub drained extremely slow. Breakfast was plentiful but fair in quality. This was booked through Airmiles.ca. This is twice that I've booked a particular room and been given one that is inferior in needs. This clearly tells me that Airmiles.ca and Best Western, despite their partnership, is not compatible in booking systems. Both times, it was clearly MY problem. While Best Western is likely more affordable than some other hotels of similar style, I would choose another hotel. I only chose Best Western because that's what Airmiles offered. I won't book a hotel with airmiles again and will avoid BW.
"Good value for money. Liked the Breakfast."
We stayed in this hotel for a day on 12/25/15 night, while our way back from Orlando. Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and he even upgraded us to suite as we were hoping to not walk all the way to our room. Breakfast was great, loved the hashbrowns. Rooms were big and well laidout.
"Good Choice for Area"
The Best Western brand has really improved over recent years and when you find a Plus, you can't go wrong when you're on the road. This hotel is spacious because it has a large lobby and attached meeting rooms. The room was okay and clean. The bathroom could use some updating (please remove the doorstop that's on the floor by the tub - it serves no purpose other than to step on it and hurt your foot). But the shower worked well (very slippery tub and no mat) and the towels were okay. Bed was com by and the TV had a lot of channels (especially sports channels). Front desk staff was somewhat friendly but they seemed busy.
"Chattanooga area Best Western"
I recommend the Arbour Inn as a good value and a great location when visiting the area. The staff is very helpful too. This was our first visit to Chattanooga. The staff pointed out several sites and a good restaurant for my wife and I.
"Chattanooga Stay"
Clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was the standard breakfast bar. Everything was clean and the staff was very courteous and professional. They could upgrade the towels in the bathroom. They are too thin and cheap feeling.
"Good Stop in the Scenic City"
I travel to Chattanooga ever year in November and I have stayed at the Best West Arbour Inn before. It is convenient for me and my activities when I visit. The staff at Check in and Check out was friendly and helpful. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The only issue I had was that the AC/Heater in my room did not work properly. I reported it to the front desk, and they stated it was fixed. However, when I tried it, it still was not working properly. Fortunately, the weather was such that I did not need too much cool or too much heat. I did sample the breakfast bar - plenty of choices for me. No complaints at all here. If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive stay just off the highway this place is for you. I will be back next year.
"TSNS"
Regarding our stay; you have the worst exercise equipment I have ever seen ! machine works properly and the other are in serious disrepair and one is outright dangerous. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Maid did not leave coffee 2nd day. Breakfast was adequate, although not everyone can eat spicy sausage.
"Ok hotel in a great area"
Very basic hotel with a poor breakfast with very little choice and poor quality food. Coffee ok, rooms clean and tidy but the habit of putting coffee making in the bathroom i find offensive!!!! Its in the middle of a 6 lane area having to need a car to easily get around,
"Out of the way but clean"
The hotel was out of town but easy enough to drive into Chattanooga. It was clean but while they changed our towels our beds were not made on the first night. A good breakfast selection buffet style, choice of hot and cold food a nice way to strt the day.
"Awesome stay"
The rooms were very spacious and facilities were amazing. The stay was pleasant and also breakfast was too good. I stayed only for a night and had a sound sleep in the hotel. Also there were two TV's in the hotel room. Also, I felt 2 families can easily be accommodated in the same room.
"MOSTLY GOOD REPORT"
This is almost a Best Western Plus. Beds and bed linens up to par. Breakfast really great selection. Carpet stains. Toilet runs. "Mr. Friendly" on check in desk blamed us that our key cards didn't work. "You can't put them next to anything electronic or it ruins them - Cell phones, car keys, etc." My husband had walked from the registration desk directly to the room with them in his hand but it was definitely our fault! TV didn't work most of the time - again our fault for not standing in the right place although he admitted he "reset" the control. From then on it was intermittent..... may just need a new battery? All in all, would recommend it if you get a very good rate.
"SATISFIED WITH EVERYTHING EXCEPT BREAKFAST"
THE BREAKFAST WAS NOT REFILLED ENOUGH TO PROVIDE FOR ALL THE PEOPLE Eating. although the staff at front desk, upon checkin was very helpful. the room was above my expectations. the smell in the hallway was undesirable though.
"Good Bestern but suiite very dark"
Stayed 2 nights in King suiite. Room was very large, clean and bed comfortable.Shower was good and breakfast o.k. Only drawback was suite had only one window in the bedroom, so the separate sitting area was very dark. O.k. for one or 2 nights, but for longer, we would choose a normal room.
"More travels with our Buicks to Orlando, 2"
we selected this hotel after cancelling our room in the Columbia, SC are due to floods. It was very busy with lots of children running around at all hours creating noise. Our room needed upgrading, carpet was stained, mould in the bath tub surround. The area is very busy too, lots of places to get fuel and food.
"Delighted!!"
In contrast to the two previous reviews, we 2 couples had a delightful stay and we're very satisfied with the property. Reginald, one of the hotel's managers, checked us in and out. He was completely courteous and helpful. A 1st class gentleman. We would stay here time and again based upon our experience during the last 24 hours! Customers are peculiar and come with their own particular filters. We customers are more than complimentary of everything we experienced. From the staff, the room and the delicious breakfast, our stay was delightful!!! Thank you Reginald and staff!
"Dissatisfied"
Personal reviews of places to go and especially of places to sleep are important to us in deciding where to go. After seeing the good reviews of this hotel, we chose to stay here. However, this hotel has not lived up to it's reputation by far at the current moment. While the beds are new and very comfortable, hence the reason for the 2 stars earned in our rating, note that they are double beds, not queen size beds. Everything else is to be greatly improved. Rooms need attention both cosmetically and the housekeeping is subpar. They certainly need to hire a great deal more people to keep this place running smoothly, or else better management that can keep current staff on task and on schedule. The gentleman at breakfast was very courteous and the front desk attendant tried his best, however, being understaffed and under-maintained is never the way to run a hotel. Breakfast was subpar as well. Find someplace else to stay in Chattanooga!
"Disgusting"
Rented "King Suite"; Air outlet vents covered with black mold, room dirty, mold on tub, toilet paper holder pulled out of wall during use, talking in adjacent room heard in bedroom, what more can I say; we didn't even stay the night.
"Courteous Staff and Great Room"
Very pleasant staff. Recognized me for my diamond status and immediately offered a complimentary upgrade. Definitely would stay again if I was in the Chattanooga area again. This was one of the best hotels in the chain that I have stayed in.
"Tennessee High"
Checking in and out went well and the room was clean and the beds were comfy and the TV worked. We did have cold stuff with us and the use of a frig was a great help. Breakfast was present well and the food was good. I would stay there again. My grandson had not problem getting in to his lap top computer and Ipod using the password he was givien
"Top Notch All the Way!"
My kids and I got in for a late check in. The manager (Blake) was super helpful and courteous. Could not have went better for us as the hotel was very reasonable price wise and included a very nice hot breakfast. I wish every hotel experience could be this good. Highly recommend!
"NO CABLE TV!"
Comcast cable has been out for 2 weeks at this hotel yet they fail to tell anyone at checkin. I spoke to 4 different staff members including the Assistant Manager and all they did was apologize. Eggs were burnt, and no bacon on "full breakfast" bar. Tried to contact corporate Best Western customer service but link is broken of course. Will not stay here again!
"Weekend Trip with the Family"
This was a nice hotel for an off the Interstate hotel. It served it's purpose as a base to go out and explore Chattanooga, TN. If I was passing through and staying at a Best Western was important to you this was a nice choice. I would have liked to be closer to the Chattanooga River front, but there was not a Best Western in that area. I would stay there again.
"Another wonderful stay"
Great staff, bed and breakfast. Convenient on and off I75. Very quiet and peaceful here. Makes for a wonderful sleep. We enjoy staying at Best Western whenever we travel to see our children. we know that no matter where it is the quality will be above our expectations. The staff at this location went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.
"Business stay. Nope! "
From a former army infantry soldier I can sleep anywhere. This is anywhere. Not from the area and booked by mistake. Dated, dirty, and there are so many better hotels in the area. The staff was nice that's the only good I can say about this place.
"Ironman Race"
I would not recommend this hotel. We had a very bad overall experience overall. We stayed their 3 nights, 2 of which our room was not cleaned. Our room was very clean upon checkin but was not cleaned afterwards, we had to go to the front desk to get clean towels and coffee. The 1 treadmill they have was broken and the weight machine is also broken.
"Nice hotel"
A nice economical hotel. My wife and I generally stay at Best Westerns because of reward program. Have never had a bad experience that was not dealt with immediatly. This is another stay we were extremely satisfied with.
"Pleasantly surprised."
First time staying in a Best Western, the room was a good size and clean, it was up to date, with a good TV choice.. The layout is a bit confusing when you pull into the Hotel, it is set up back from the street, with parking at the front and rear..Checked in 30 minuets early, always nice..Good value for the price
