The room was clean and easy checkin. The breakfast was outstanding. The biscuits and gravy was delicious! We had eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt again it was delicious. If your room is on 2nd floor you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. No elevator.

We we're traveling for spring break to Florida. There was roaches in the room. Very disappointing as we were looking for a place to rest on our way to Florida. We saw the roaches and didn't stay. I wouldn't recommend staying. We saw roaches on both sides of the room.

I gave this hotel 5 stars! Friendly staff, clean rooms, complementary full breakfast. We were traveling with a pet and the room had a patio that allowed quick easy access to the pet area. Very nice and the price was reasonable too. We will definitely make this a favorite place to stop when traveling I 75.

Very pleased with our one night stay. The room was very clean and offered a microwave and small fridge. The king size bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The breakfast was amazing and offered many options including waffles. The hotel staff was very friendly and checkout was very quick and easy with an electronic statement emailed to me. Room was clean and staff was helpful. However, please realize that this is an older motel and all the rooms are not indicative of the pictures that are shown on the website. We had a very bad experience with dogs barking throughout the night in the adjoining room. Walls seemed to be paper thin. There was a large gap under our entrance door. We did place a towel along the floor to help with the cold air and street noise. Please Best Western, help your staff at this hotel by performing a major upgrade!

The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The housekeeper was friendly the office staff made our stay comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful. The parking was great didn't have far to walk.

Giant swimming pool with a deck that's bigger than most other hotels, with a very large area for the little kiddos. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the deep end is 9 feet deep, unheard of!!

The smell of room deodorizer made me ill. The frame on the TV was broke, although the TV worked. The desk lamp had something sticky all over it. The curtains had dirt all over them from filthy hands. I would not recommend you stay here.

Budget motel in a Georgia city that have both seen better days. Good location off I-75. Did not feel entirely safe in the immediate environment. Noisy with workers repairing their watermelon trucks and train whistles constantly blowing approximately every 30 minutes throughout the night. Two entry doors, one to the inner hallway that could not be secured adequately and the second to the outside parking lot. My room did not look as nice as the photos presented. Dungy and dark would be a good description on first impression. Pillows, linens, paper products, average. Mattress adequate. Clean room and bathroom if you didn't inspect closely. Breakfast would be described as minimal to be able to relate that you provide this service. Would find reasons not to stay in Cordele again and if I had to would explore other options available.

Pet friendly hotel off the interstate that is actually FRIENDLY. Room was small, but clean and on the first floor. Places to walk your dogs, too. Pet fee was quite reasonable. We felt comfortable and safe here with our dogs. Other pet owners like this place as well! A good choice for four legged friends and humans, too!

The room was filled with mosquitos and flies. The phone cord was frayed and not connected. The switches in the sink area did not work. The safety/security latch was falling off the wall and not working. Breakfast was terrible... preformed egg disks warmed in a microwave and only fruit canned fruit salad.

The Best Western Colonial Inn was a rather older hotel, but it definitely served its purpose of providing a clean room and a very nice (hot) breakfast. While the main door into the room is in a hallway, the room also has exterior (sliding glass) doors. Also, the hallway door to the parking lot is not locked and has no key entrance. Aside from these security concerns, the room itself, the staff, the breakfast, and the lobby area were all great. The bed was very comfortable, too!!

This is my Goto Best Western Property when traveling I 75 in Georgia. After visiting family in Tennessee, clearing Atlanta heading towards Florida is a must. This property is an old style property, moderate price point, outstanding breakfast compared with upper end chains, super pet friendly and friendly outstanding staff.

I stayed here last Monday night and was very pleased with the cleanliness and excellent customer service. I forgot my pillow and they called me to let me know they can ship it to me. I was so grateful because I love my pillow and it would have cost me 179.00 to replace it plus I would have had to buy a new pillow case as well. I highly recommend this hotel.

Driving home and needed an inexpensive room. Greeted by the night clerk- she was polite and got me a room quickly. Great customer service. Room was clean, but a little dated. Some wear noticed. Only thing that had me a little alarmed was the balcony door did not seem secure and was open upon arrival. (I was on the second floor) Skipped the breakfast so I'm not sure about that. This room was about $50+ cheaper than the one across the street.

Best Western can be a hit or Miss brand. This particular location was a good choice. We just needed a clean room with nearby dining options. This hotel provided both. I really enjoyed the double sinks in the room, that made it easier for a few people to get ready within the same space. Additionally, there is a nearby Walmart that was nice for a few items needed. This was my fourth time staying at the BW Colonial Inn. The staff has always been nice and personable. The rooms are clean, nice and convenient to parking. There is also ample ground to walk my pooch. The hotel is next to I75 and close to restaurants and gas stations. The charge for my dog was $10 which is very reasonable. I will continue to make it my go-to stop on my way to FL.

We didn't know what to expect as this was our first tripe to Cordele. What we got was a clean, comfortable room with a friendly support staff and nice amenities. There was plenty of free parking with enough ADA spaces. The grounds felt safe and the breakfast was good. Dollar for dollar this was a great value.

My experience at this hotel had its pros and cons. Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Accurate in my chargers for the two connecting rooms, housekeeping did a good job of cleaning room, comfortable beds, great hot breakfast, immaculate grounds keeping, economical price, working on renovation room by room. I can tell that the owners have been working on upgrading and improving the buildings and the grounds by the newer decor. Cons: our connecting rooms weren't part of the the rooms that had yet been completely renovated. Door locks between the rooms were stuck and took some muscle to open. Fab in the bathroom didn't work. The carpet was old and worn, room smelled like a combination of mildew, Lysol (or some other odor remover) and old cigarette smoke (likely from a previous owner's guests). I have asthma, so I was unable to sleep in the bed in the room, so I pulled a chair to the opened back door and slept in the chair in the fresh air. I could breathe but wasn't very comfortable in a chair. My other family members did ok in the rooms. These rooms will be much improved once its their turn for completing the renovation.

When traveling we always stay at Best Western, always a pleasant stay. I book before hand and always a easy task online. Check in is always easy as well as checkout. Breakfast is always good, when you leave you can get on the road immediately.

I was looking for an inexpensive place to sleep during a long road trip. I tried a low budget motel and was disgusted by the smokey "non-Smoking" room. I checked out drove down the street to the Best Western. I found a beautiful, non-smoking building for only a few dollars more. It had many of the same amenities of hotels costing twice as much. They will continue to have my business.

This unique motel/hotel had an outside patio door and interior door. Also had 2 sinks, one inside bath and 1 outside which was very nice. Price was very affordable. Staff serves breakfast, which is nice since it is set up as a buffet. I highly recommend this hotel.

In the five hotels we stayed at during our trip, this was our favorite. Breakfast and reception ladies were exceptionally nice. I was asked at check in if we had any allergies and said no, as they gave us a pet room. I was concerned about smell as I have a good sense of smell, but could not detect anything. We were on the first floor and we enjoy parking right outside our door and can just bring our stuff in. Charming place that has some bumps and bruises, but is clean. Loved that we could sit outside our room in a couple of chairs, and that the pool area looked welcoming and relaxing. Good location for restaurants, but we had picked up brisket at Buc-ees. Best breakfast we received anywhere, and they have a menu of items, and particularly liked the grits. Quiet, and they are pet friendly for only $10, so next time we go through in a few months with our Pug we will definitely stay there!

Spent one night at this property enroute from Florida to Nashville. The room was extremely shabby and outdated with a terrible odor (smelled like extermination spray). The air conditioning unit was extremely noisy. Perhaps the worst feature was the shower did not work. When I reported it to the desk, they said “Did you say room 2__?”. Oh others have complained about this. They did say that their maintenance person would be in in about 1/2 hour. Unfortunately, that would be too late for us to meet our intended travel schedule. Though others reported that the breakfast was good, we found the food highly processed with few healthy choices. This hotel's saving grace is it's convenient travel location odd of I-75. I would not recommend this hotel based on our recent stay.

The lobby was clean, had a nice fresh smell, and well lit. My room was also clean and fresh, no stale odors no stains and the light bulbs actually produced enough light to see around the room. The last hotel (a higher end competitor) I stayed in they were very dim. Everything worked in the room and the shower had a shower-head that wasn't so low that I would have to get on my knees to wash my hair (I am 6' 7"). The mattress was new and firm, the way I like it. Next time I need to stay along I-75 in Georgia, this will be my hotel.

We're currently staying here, while in town for a balloon festival. Our entire stay has been simply flawless. This hotel is run very well, every single person we've met here has been so very kind and helpful, Ashley is a gem. Breakfast is so wonderful, the coffee is delicious, but the best part are the ladies serving it. Our room was sparkling clean, the beds are extremely comfortable and showers great. I just went to the lobby to grab some tea before bed, there were cookies handmade by the lovely woman, Dee working at the front desk!! We will go out of our way to come stay here again, it would be worth the extra drive.

This is an older Best Western but the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. They gave us a room by the pet walking area which made it easy and convenient to talk Fido. The breakfast was well stocked and the lady was super friendly. My only complaint was the old air conditioner was very loud as it cycled on and off. They really need new quiet HVAC systems. The pool area looked nice but we didn't use it. The price we paid was very reasonable so it was not bad given the overall experience.

Carpet was extremely dirty and room smelled. It was so dirty our dog would not come out of her cage and walk or lay on the carpet. It was the first and last time we will be staying at this property and we come to Cordele often. We also did not like the pillows. The were all the same, very thick. Most motels have more than one type on a bed to give people a choice, but not this motel.

The Cordele BW, while not one of the newest, does have an extremely friendly and helpful staff. The room was nice enough, though I would have liked to have had a wheelchair-accessible shower. It would be nice if BW would convert more of their accessible bathrooms to this model and to provide these as an option when selecting rooms.

I left a portfolio in the room when I checked out, and didn't discover this until arriving home 4 hours away. Debbie at the front desk located and secured the portfolio. She scanned/emailed 10 pages of notes that I had to have that day. She's arranging to ship the portfolio to my home. Debbie saved the day!

This is a older best western. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Fresh paint but a poor renovation in the washroom. Toilet needs to be updated. Parking was convenient. Lots of places to eat close by. I can recommend this location for the traveler looking for overnight convenience.

We stayed here on November 11, 2021. I had made reservations on my Best Western app. When I arrived at the hotel, i overhead a staff member quoting a price less than I had booked online. When I brought this to the attention of Kathy, she immediately lowered the price, plus honored my travel gift card as well. Kathy was so nice at checkin. It was refreshing to have a pleasant experience as that has not always been the case when traveling recently. She had brought out cookies but I forgot to get some after I checked in. When I went back for an extra towel, she asked if I had gotten some before. When I told her no, she went right back in the kitchen to get some for me. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. There was some minor mold/mildew in the bathroom but some spray and getting the w Hudson working should probably fix this. Did not impact our stay and we would stay here again.

I'm pretty picky in regards to hotels and we prefer to stay at a Hampton or Hilton. We usually stop in Valdosta on the way to Florida; but traffic was horrible all day and decided to stop in Cordele. Based on the reviews we decided to try it. Wow!! The parking lot was packed; always a good sign! Our King room was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfy and the Breakfast didn't disappoint. An attendant served items from a menu instead of the self service due to COVID. Many hotels that offer a free breakfast have either suspended it or offer pre-packaged items. We will add this to one of our preferred hotels on our way to Florida!

This was a last minute stop for us weary travelers. I found the hotel online same night we needed it. Booked the reservation and pulled in to check in. Front desk staff was polite. Room was better than we expected. Yes a bit dated but comfy beds/pillows and room. We were right in the front of the hotel corner by the interstate and I thought that might be an issue with noise but it was not. It was the train that woke us up LOL. The room was clean and comfortable. Location walking distance to restaurants. I would stay again and I am very picky about the hotels we stay at. Breakfast was a great bonus and very well organized. The pictures do not represent the room we had. 1970s decor, frayed curtains, furniture was cramped into the room. I waited 15 min to check in while Front Desk employee argued on the phone with a “guest”. She then called the manager while I stood there waiting. No mask or social distancing although the sign on the door required it. The carpet was filthy, the door leading to the outside from the corridor was left open and there was no keycard to unlock the door do they just leave it ajar. There e were no towels, the tub had mold and the room had a musty smell. The tv did not work and the Front Desk employee said to bring our key cards to her and we could stay in the next room. Another employee, “Kathy” barged into the room and started fiddling with the tv. We were very tired after a long drive and did not want to spend time waiting as she “fixed” the tv. We proceeded to move our belongings and she refused to let us pass by her!!! I asked her to please move as our dog was becoming upset with her hostile behavior. She planted herself so we could not move past her. We had to escape by the sliding door to the rear of the room. She kept screaming that the room was booked. The rooms were identical and the Front Desk employee agreed to let us move. BTW no one used the room we left. Total disaster, please think twice about staying in this dump.

Arrived without a reservation and had no difficulty getting a room for the rate I had seen online the day before. The desk lady was very nice and honored our request for an upstairs room away from traffic. They have 3 bldgs and we were in the bldg furthest away from the lobby. I should have known when I saw a lock off door that we would hear noise from guests next to us. Even with the TV turned up loud we could hear them loud and clear. The beds were very odd. You sunk down when you sat on the edge but they were ok in the middle. Suprisingly, we slept well. The bathroom had one room with a door with the toilet, sink and shower all in one and outside of that another sink and counter. That was nice. The water from the shower head was like needles pelting you. Only 2 bath towels in a 2 queen room, what's up with that? We didn't feel like the bathroom was sanitized enough. The refrigerator with a tiny freezer section was larger than most chain motel refers, the microwave smaller. The room had a balcony with a slider and chairs. We didn't use it. The pool looked nice and had pool lounges and seating, we didn't use it either. A shout out to the breakfast lady. This BW has a list you choose from of typical items, fried eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy, pkged oatmeal, fruit, danish,etc. She was very nice, didn't try to rush the line through at all, but was efficient in getting you exactly what you wanted. The staff would get 5 stars but the room of the motel gets a 2 star.

Floors need cleaned or placed badly We stop there all the time going back and forth to Florida. Its our half way stop. Its okay, it excepts dogs, but it needs an update. Especially the floors. I wear shoes all the time when I am there. They look nasty.

This is an amazing place to stay during a trip or vacation. They're real clean and affordable and the staff is very friendly. All the restaurants are in walking distance and it's right off the Freeway.

Intake was quick and painless. Being part of BW Rewards, my room rate was ridiculously low. Two-story place. Access is from the outside. Room was very typical Best Western quality stuff, and everything shows wear, but still serviceable. Everything was pretty clean, a definite challenge nowadays. TV is smaller, but the signal was good and the picture nice. Internet was fast, even though there was obviously a lot of people on it, however, it experienced several mini-outages during the evening. Not anything fatal, as I sometimes get that at home. Breakfast is now socially separate; a person takes your order. It's slow. Coffee is above average, so that's a thing. Based on our price, this was a palace.

I've enjoyed stay at this hotel - until I got Room 149, This room has an adjoining door that allows you to hear everything that is being said in the next room. Toilet leaked onto floor every time you flushed it. A/C leaks and carpet was wet around it. Loud drip also coming from bathtub faucet. Some TLC needs to be done in this rooms bathroom. Fix pealing wallpaper as well as broken dirty tile.

Outstanding breakfast option during COVID restrictions, there's a full hot buffet served by attendant, who was a wonderful woman who engaged with everyone to make sure they got exactly what they wanted. They bakes cookies in the afternoon. Right off the exit, great location with food and shopping options close by. All the small attentions to detail make this a real gem.

I personally liked this hotel, they have good food and the rooms are clean and comfy! The only thing I didn't like was that there were so many mosquitoes and we were killing them for like 1 hour and 30 minutes. This hotel was pretty nice in my opinion. :)

This Best Western was located right off I75 and was a perfect halfway mark from our vacation from Kentucky back to South Florida. The check in was nice and speedy. The rooms had both an interior and exterior entrances. The breakfast was modified due to Covid but it was perfect for us, still a hot breakfast that was basically served to you. The beds were comfy, room was clean,overall a very nice stay.

We were greeted by friendly personnel. We had a king room that was away from the 'pet wing' which I appreciated since I'm allergic to pet dander!! Our room was comfortable, clean and easily accessible even though it was a 2nd floor room. The hotel was conveniently located to several restaurants and other shopping (Wal Mart was close by too). Easy check in and check out. Would stay here again.

Checking in was a breeze and the staff were friendly. Also a pet friendly hotel. A lot of items on the breakfast menu. Because of the COVID breakfast is served to you by the staff. It is a older hotel but our room was clean which I appreciate.

We have stayed at this property at least 2-3 times a year on trips down to Florida. We have never looked any other place, because we are always more than pleased with the service and the property. The breakfast is also a great plus. Great food and selection.

We stayed at this location last minute. The room was immaculate and the staff was friendly and helpful. They held a room for us while we ate dinner just as a courtesy. Acted like family. Very pleased.

We stayed in a King room, Our bed was a little hard for our liking, the room was clean, The toilet paper dispenser next to the toilet is very near the toilet and hard to reach, we took the roll of and set it on the counter. The staff was wonderful, we did not eat the breakfast at the hotel. I would stay here again, The value for the price is very good.

We were very pleasantly surprised to find an all no-smoking hotel with double queen beds that accepts pets up to 80 pounds (only$10 extra). The room had no odor, very clean (except for the area around the outside of the mini fridge). They have a entry to the room from the inner hall and from the parking area there is a glass door for easy access to grassy area for pet business. We will definitely drive further to stay at this property again on our next trip to FL.

They are pet friendly but they said that pets stay in the second building. Pool looked really nice The room was a bit loud, so just make sure your tv stays on low, The bed was super soft, and the pillows were heavenly. Being a Best Western member saved us about $10 for the night. I think. Breakfast. Noise seemed loud. No sound proof windows on road facing 280. A/C was quiet. Best Western in Cordele was completely remodeled. Staff as friendly as ever. Breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend this hotel. It is pet friendly and is in a great location close to restaurants, gas stations and close to the interstate.

The reviews stated that this was one of the best hotels in the area. They were not wrong. Check-in was a breeze. The room was clean, quite and comfortable. The A/C worked very well. Also, I had a balcony where I could sit out after the day was done and just relax. They served a hot breakfast, including waffles, eggs, grits, and biscuits and gravy. Wow! An employee filled your order but it was nice to have something besides "grab-and go", or no offerings at all. Check-out was quick and easy as well. All staff were friendly and willing to help. The only issue I has was with housekeeping. The hotel put out a note in the room saying if you wanted to reuse a towel hang it up, and if you wanted it to be changed out to leave it on the floor. One of the days they did not get to my room so I had a couple of towels still on the floor. No big deal since I was solo and there were extra towels in the room. Overall it was a very good stay and I will definitely choose this hotel next time I am in the area.

Pleasant and helpful staff members made our late night check-in while traveling easy. Beds were super comfortable and we were please at the size and condition of the rooms! Would definitely recommend this place for a stopover stay while traveling...breakfast was excellent the next morning as well.

I was exhausted after driving 18hrs and having very limited sleep. I decided to stay at this Best Western because of the convenience or restaurants, etc... The bed was comfy and they allowed pets. The toilet seat was broken, the room was quite small, and not very good lighting in there. I woke up in the early hours of the night to use the restroom and saw cockroaches chillin out in the bathroom and when I turned on the normal room light there were more hanging out by the bed. I was absolutely disgusted and grossed out and left immediately after shaking my clothes out. The front desk refused to own up to the problem by saying “we have an exterminator come once a month and spray.” I have pictures and they never offered to make things right.

Have stayed at this location in the past and thought it was pretty good for the rate charged. This time I really noticed some chinks in the armor of this hotel. Right after we went to out room my wife opened the closet door and there was a half eaten piece of chicken on the closet floor, that wasn't what either of us wanted to see. Obviously, housekeeping is not up to snuff in this location. Room and common areas could use some sprucing up. Told the desk person about it when we checked out the next morning, she didn't seem too shocked. Wasn't happy with my stay that night.

Traveling during Covid we were cautious about our hotel choice and found this one to be perfect. We loved being able to pull up outside our room and walk inside. No carrying our luggage through the lobby. We even had chairs and a little patio. Additionally, the staff were great and all wore masks correctly (over their noses!!) Breakfast was well organized with good choices and the lady "serving" was perfect ("Pooh bear?") with good natured humor and warmth. Great stop.

Very friendly check-in with masked employee, easy to get to from I-75, decent breakfast served based on your order, allows pets and has grassy area for your dog, convenient to fast food pick-up. Has refrigerator, microwave and in room coffee (but was missing the pod holder). Very little water pressure in shower and sink, road noise, train noise (not during main sleeping hours), no employees wearing masks in the morning, including the woman serving breakfast who also checked the men's restroom for a backup and wasn't wearing gloves. Reasonably clean room except very worn carpet, which may be different in a non-pet room, bed not uncomfortable. Have stayed there before and thought it was better last time. Would stay again if we can't drive further on our way south.

We stayed at the Best Western Colonial Inn for one night on our drive to Florida. The hotel is right off the interstate and in a decent location. Very easy to get in and out and there are gas stations and restaurants nearby for a quick bite to eat. They are also pet friendly and allowed us to bring our 2 dogs. There is a dog area with grass so that was a plus. A lot of hotels allow dogs but they don't have grass to take them outside, so this was a big positive.

We stopped on the way to FL with a coupon from the Rest Stop magazines. It was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was dished up by a very friendly and helpful lady. All the food was very good, although the eggs seemed a little strange. Like all white with yellow food coloring in the middle. They looked strange, but my husband said they were fine. The weather was beautiful and we tried to sit on the patio (first level) but the light shining was very bright. We thought we would sit by the pool, but the gate was locked. There was a nice area under the trees with chairs and a table. We enjoyed that.

We stayed over night on the way to Florida. Everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the lobby in the morning was great. Big home-made Belgium waffles. Lots of toppings for them. With plenty more to pick from like eggs and yogurt. It isn't self service due to covid, but the woman helping was very friendly and talkative. Overall good experience!

Great staff -the only good thing about this room. We had 2nd floor end room. It was very loud all night. The carpet was stained so badly I was afraid to walk without shoes. Bathroom filthy around toilet, tiles broke, dirt in all corners.

This is the first time I've stayed here, because I usually stop further south. It was clean and sanitary. I appreciated the extra care in place with protection from Covid.. The front desk was very friendly and helpful, I would stay here again!

Stayed here on our way to Florida after reading a few reviews relating to Covid etc. choose this and was extremely satisfied. Super quick check in, all employees had masks. Clean room, served breakfast preparing your plate using a menu. Would stay here again.

This location is pet friendly and enjoy having 2 entrances into room. Room does not smell like some pet rooms do. Very good breakfast especially for Covid situation. Lots of restaurant's nearby. Staff very friendly.

Over all, this was a very good experience. 2 things kept it from being 5 stars. The smell when you walked into the room. What ever the cleaning staff is using is VERY noxious and had my nose burning all night. Also, pillows were all the same size and all to uncomfortable. I recommend offering a flat pillow along with the ones available and I recommend using UNSCENTED cleaning products.

I always try to stay at a Best Western or Best Western Plus. No surprises, clean and affordable rooms with a full hot breakfast. The Front Desk staff is always helpful and courteous. When I asked for a good restaurant for dinner with adult beverages I was referred to 16 East and was very pleased with their menu and drinks. Always the best bang for my buck.

Just amazing, i really enjoyed staying here. it was just a fantastic trip and I will bring my family back next time I stay. This time I just stayed for myself but I think my family would love the hotel as well. Plus I can bring my dog (:

The staff was great but didn't like you had a glass slider to enter in and out of the room. Also the location was extremely noisey, in addition to traffic, trains going by at night sounding their horns.

The trains blowing their horns all night is a problem. We have stayed here a number of times and it has not changed. We understand that you can not change it. We do try not to stay on the front and we didn't this time. But we could still here them.

We stayed here because they are pet friendly and it was the nicest, cleanest pet friendly hotel we've ever stayed at. First floor rooms have a backdoor right out to a very large grassy area that was clean. They supplied poo bags and a trash can. The room was clean, older but nice. Very helpful and nice staff. Would definitely stay here again!

The Best Western in Cordele has been my 'go-to' hotel for several years now. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. They keep me coming back! The breakfast is typical mid-level hotel food, but they have a better than average variety.

This Best Western is always friendly, helpful and the rooms are cool, clean and comfy. Now that they have started their breakfasts back in the lobby, we couldn't ask for a better place to land resting on our travels to NC & GA & Tenn visiting family.

I was traveling from Minnesota to Florida so I have stayed in hotels along the way. This was an older hotel with recent remodeling. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I had my dogs along and it is nice to be able to step out your door for their business. Plenty of room. My only complaint was there was no hair dryer in the room.

A very nice to spend a night during your travels. Room are very nicely appointed, comfortable beds, located close to I75 and with a very pleasant staff. My only concern is the lack of places to get a nice meal. Partially because of COVID-19.

I am surprised this is best western. This hotel was extremely out dated, the staff is great just the hotel is outdated. The only way to shut our door was to slam it. Hopefully they will tear it down and rebuild it, we won't be back just too outdated

We stayed last night it was great. The room and bathroom were clean. Close to the I 75 but couldn't here it. Pool has a deep end that goes to 9ft deep. Everyone was nice to us. We will be staying on our way back to Tennessee.

Wonderful little hidden gem. The price was great the pool area is fabulous and the room was very clean. Also can't beat the breakfast. Biscuits and gravy was a treat. They had the ladies hand out what you wanted instead of buffet due to Covid. It worked well.

This is a very good hotel for the price range. Clean and updated. The area has most of what you need pretty close by. The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was clean, beds comfy and we had no complaints. I stayed here 2 months ago in a different room and that was a great stay as well. Will definitely make this a destination to sleep over on my next trip.

Easy on & off freeway yet almost bucolic on site. The back first floor rooms, have a door & patio (w chairs) that opens on to a deep grassy area, perfect for dogs or kids. It's quiet, has all needed to walk pups & keep area sanitary. They have swings, benches & a lovely pool area

One of our favorite Best Westerns, staff very friendly, breakfast is always awesome, unfortunately due to coronavirus breakfast was grab and go. Nice pool which is outside, restaurants and gas stations next door.

This hotel has several problems. First it is old and the a/c system is twitchy at best and noisy. You can see cracks through the doors and the furniture is well worn. The screaming and yelling of guests and dragging furniture in the room above ours went on through the night. When someone tried to enter our room from the connecting door (which should not be there) We left the hotel. They only have one person on duty at night and she was locked in the lobby and was no assistance. Worst hotel we have ever stayed at.

This hotel is very clean, is kept up very well, you can tell management really cares. But the beds had visible sunken areas and it was really hard to be comfy- they really need to get new mattresses. Nice patio doors in the room, easy entryway. Nice outdoor swimming pool, landscaped well. Breakfast was pretty good.

My husband and I stayed overnight here. The staff members were friendly and helpful. This hotel was very nice with an attractive lobby and eating area. The room was clean and attractive. We slept very well. Breakfast the next morning was very good. Best Western is becoming our travel hotel choice more and more. They are a much better value than some of the other chains and just as nice if you just need a place to sleep along with breakfast.

This is a very easy on-off for an overnight stay while traveling I-75. Not your typical style for Best Western, it is more a motel 2 story structure. The breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. The room had a hall entrance and an outside entrance. The outside entrance made it easy to load and unload from your car.

We stayed at Cordele GA Best Western for 1 night on our way home from a trip to Florida. It was a very comfortable room and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very nice. Lots to choose from. The hotel is within walking distance of a few restaurants.

It was one of the loveliest hotels we have every stayed. It's a diamond in the rough. You would never guess that they serve hot out of the oven cookies every afternoon. It is a pleasure to stay there. The staff is always so friendly.

A beautiful place with very nice pool and gym; fresh cookies or popcorn in lobby. Depending on location; very friendly, happy staff; nice room with comfortable beds. We joined the BW rewards program and will look for BWs first when we travel.

After traveling 315 miles from Alabama I needed a safe place to sleep. I found it at Best Western Colonial Inn in Cordele, GA. The staff were great. The room and breakfast were great!!! Affordable too

Our experience at this Inn was OK for a one-nighter. Very friendly receptionist, the room was adequate but a little noisy with people standing in the parking lot in front of our room. The breakfast was OK but not fresh eggs like other BW hotels.

Arrived early for check in and received a warm welcome from the desk attendant. She assured us our room would be ready in few minutes. Our room was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was very nice and one of the best we have had in all of our travels in the U.S.

The whole experience was wonderful. This was a beautiful and very clean room and we will definitely come back. Too bad our patio door entrance had NO PARKING OUTSIDE THIS DOOR, although some rooms DID have this access. It makes it easier to bring in luggage instead of having to walk all the way from another parking spot in order to reach our patio door. We had to come in from the interior door in the hallway. We did make our reservation about the week prior, but I believe the staff give those easy-access rooms to last minute first-come-first serve guests (I did witness one at the front desk), which is not really fair. Instead the staff should keep all those types of rooms for folks who book ahead, and put those walk-in guests in rooms with NO PARKING at the PATIO DOORS.

This was a nice, convenient location for us to stay after getting stuck in Atlanta traffic. The evening lobby staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was adequate and clean, which is a must! The hotel is 2 stories, but has no elevator, which may be an issue for some. There is an outdoor pool, but no hot tub. Coffee, fridge, hair dryer are available in the room, and restaurants within walking distance, including Cracker Barrel, a traveling favorite of ours. There was a very nice continental breakfast in the morning. Morning staff was not as friendly, but maybe they were not morning people. Nice place to stay.

Pros- comfortably firm but not hard mattress; plenty of hot water; nice staff; clean Cons- small room; fan right next to bed blew on me all night although I did move a big overstuffed chair next to the fan to block some of it; teeny bathroom, so small the toilet paper was hung under the sink because there was no room next to or in front of the toilet Next time we'd try somewhere else

Would stay here again so keeping info on this hotel for next trip. Close to restaurants. Walked next door to Captain D's for supper. Not a fancy restaurant (has drive-thru). Fish made to order and good.

Great Hotel! The staff was very courteous, rooms were clean...all the way through to the cleaners and breakfast cooking staff. We will definitely stay here again if we are passing through. They recommended nice restaurants and offered us warm chocolate chip cooked at checkin

Hotel is as advertised, king room was nice size, comfortable and clean - even though in the middle of the town it was a quiet stay. The included breakfast was phenomenal, we went back for seconds. Quick in and out, very friendly staff - next time through this place will be our choice.

Very nice people, came for softball tournament with my granddaughter. We felt safe and very comfortable. Will definitely be back. We have stayed here previously for a softball tournament. This time several of the parents booked here with us.

Can't say enough about this Best Western in Cordele It's only a minute off the highway and the rooms are clean and spacious. Check in was smooth and efficient Warm cookies and hot drinks were also available. Breakfast was hot and offered a fair number of options. Included in the price is a pass to a local gym only a 2 minute walk from the hotel The ability to have a complete workout after a long drive was wonderful. But the true gem of this hotel is the staff! Debbie at the front desk could not have been more patient or knowledgeable. I witnessed her interactions with a few guests who arrived and each time they were greeted with a genuine smile and willingness to help. I hope the management at Ramada know the value of their staff!

This was my second visit to this Best Western in Cordele. It is convenient to restaurants and I-75. The staff was super friendly and helpful upon check-in and check-out, inviting me back again. Ms. Kimberly steered me to a small mom and pop BBQ restaurant for dinner that hit the spot. The downstairs rooms have a patio door that makes carrying in your things much easier. The bed was super comfortable. I did hear a train whistle right before I went to sleep but nothing after that. I didn't partake of the breakfast because I wanted to sleep late. Will certainly come back.

Staff was friendly, breakfast had plenty of hot food, the bed was pure comfort.. Hot water was HOT, No complaints and I got a free night stay! Easy off I-75 and a short walk to eat. Two thumbs up for this Best Western.

This time because it was late when we arrived, we had to stay in a second story room in the back of the hotel. The room was comfortable in spite of the train that made many train whistle voyages through the area all night. Another problem was the mud on the floor between the two beds. The front desk said perhaps one of the workmen didn't notice mud on their shoes when they were doing maintenance in the room earlier in the evening. The included breakfast was good and the front desk staff was outstanding both in the evening and in the morning.

We stopped here on our way to Florida. We have a newly adopted rescue doxie mix,so needed pet friendly. What a friendly place! Our room was 1st floor facing the large grassy area...perfect for dog walks. Nice little patio for sitting. Comfortable beds and good WiFi. There is a Captain D's fast food seafood right next door. We were very pleased with breakfast! Better than the Drury Inn the day before!! Grits with good gravy...not paste and the sausages were excellent. From a sausage company in Tifton. A new favorite stay!

We stopped at this Best Western on our way to Florida. I made a reservation ahead of time to make sure we had 2 beds for the 3 of us. The price was so reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. The location right off I-75 is very convenient. We had a very difficult drive with awful traffic so we were relieved to find our hotel met our expectations. The people working are very friendly and the lobby area is nice and inviting. This is a pet friendly hotel so I asked for a non pet room when I made the reservation online. At check in the lady acknowledged my request and let me know the room was pet free. The room was clean and comfortable and I liked having a chair and small table to sit up and read before bed. We took advantage of the complimentary breakfast. There were grits which were very good. The sausage was different than what we are used to but it was good. They had a waffle iron to make your own waffles. It was nice to get a quick breakfast before completing our drive.

The front desk personnel were very courteous and friendly Room was quiet and clean - had a frig , coffee maker & microwave in room. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of space to walk him. provThey They even provided "poop bags" and treats for him & cookies for us. Breakfast was very good. Had everything you could think of. The next time we need a hotel in Cordele this is definitely where we will stay.

We were sidelined by a bad storm and pulled in to this Best Western. The front desk lady had a line to the door, but she remained calm and courteous to everyone.Rooms were clean & breakfast was great!

Hotel is convenient to travel roadway, restaurants and fueling stations nearby. Rooms were found to be clean. Parking area acceptable but did not have overnight security. I would recommend family members and friends to lodge at this location.

This was a perfect stay for the night. We have a dog that is sensitive to noise. He did not park once. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. The location is convenient to typical fast food businesses and gas stations. There are places to walk your dog. Breakfast was more than adequate. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Quick Overnight stay on travel from Florida on way to family reunion in Alabama . The staff was friendly and helpful when checking in and at checkout. The breakfast had a large selection.of food. Would stay at this hotel for a longer stay if I was going to be in the city of Cordele.

We usu choose Hampton Inn for trips like this but for the $50 price difference, we decided to try the Best Western. We thought it was a great value. Very friendly front desk staff. The room was clean, the breakfast was generous, and the kids loved the pool. The rooms do open to the outside but our outside door faced the pool so that was convenient. There was a covered hole near the patio but it didn't appear to be a hazard. Saw 2-3 people w dogs but the room didn't have any pet odors. We did have a little trouble getting the door to close when we went to breakfast but my husband pulled it hard. Felt safe. We didn't hear the interstate at all - just the AC going on and off at times.

My wife and I stayed overnight as we traveled north. This was a good choice for a short stopover. The young lady at the desk (Sam, I believe) was sweet and very helpful, property looks good and the breakfast was much better than I expected. A couple things that kept it from being a 5 star (for this price): (1) The room door didn't close flush and thus we couldn't get the latch to close. It still locked, but made my wife anxious enough that she moved a table in front of the door. Also, there was a shirt still hanging in the closet, which indicated that was never checked when the room was cleaned. Neither of these were big issues, and being that it was late when we checked in we never ever mentioned it. We were there to get a good nights sleep before continuing our travel and that we did. We were told we might hear a train come through during the night. We never heard a thing.

Great place for the value. Cookies were awesome and the front desk was super friendly. Definitely got our monies worth. We would stay here again. The pool could have used a skim but the rest was just fine.

Desk staff is always friendly and very accommodating. There is always fresh baked cookies waiting for me every time I have stayed here. I have stayed here approximately 20 times and would not think of staying elsewhere when I am in the area.

We appreciated the friendly welcoming we received from Debbie upon our arrival. She was also very helpful in regards to the rewards program. She was going to sign me up but discovered that I already was a member and had some points. She is pleasant, efficient and offers good customer service. The motel was ok. I have to admit that I am not a fan of motels and I knew in advance that we were staying in one. I don't like going from one building to another. And I wondered what the security was like because the part of the parking lot where our car was parked in was dark and somewhat isolated. I was relieved the next morning to see that my bike was still securely fastened to the back of the car and nothing had happened to the pod on top of the roof. They have renovated the place which made it more up to date. It was clean. The lobby area is nice. There were quite a few choices with the free breakfast. The place is right off of 75 which makes it very convenient. I could see that the price was good because there were loads of truckers staying there and I am sure they are good and finding economical places to stay. All in all, the visit was ok, but I would rather pay a little more money and stay in a hotel!

We were just looking for a clean, safe motel that was reasonably priced to stay at for one night while traveling home from Florida & selected this motel based on reviews that seemed to be above average. The Best Western Colonial Inn exceeded our expectations in every area. The room was super comfortable & having a couch to relax on for a few hours prior to bedtime was an extra treat. The 2 ladies at check-in were super nice & very accommodating, not to mention the great cookies they had prepared. My husband & I did not expect anything like this given the price. We will definitely stay there again if the need arises.

On a long road trip I decided I needed to sleep so my choice of hotels was totally random. The local gas station clerk recommended The Best Western. I thought the service was excellent, the cookies in the lobby were tasty, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. For a night's rest it was perfect!

The grounds were immaculate. The common areas were spotless. The pool and fountain area was well maintained and peaceful. There was even a swing set. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. The bathroom was very clean. The shower had super water pressure and an adjustable shower head made it a very enjoyable shower experience.

We decided very last minute to stop in Cordele. We chose Cordele because there is. Fairfield Inn and Hampton Inn at the exit. After a quick online price comparison and drive bys, we choose the Best Western. The price was by far less expensive than the Fairfield and Hamptom and newly renovated room was equivalent. Things I loved: the rooms have key entry on both the front and back doors (we have a dog. Love this feature!), 2 separate sinks (one with the toilet and shower and one outside the bathroom door), spacious porches with chairs, ability to park beside the room. We joined the Best Western rewards program before departing. The BW rewards also matches my other rewards program (Omni). Best Western, you have surprised me!

Travelled with my dog. Perfect spot for him. Beautiful grounds. Lovely swimming pool. Definitely stay here again. Staff was awesome. They even offered doggie poop bags. Did n ot partake in breakfast but it looked good.

We have our family reunion every year-the first weekend in May & BW in Cordele is the only place we will ever stay! It's always so clean, always great breakfast, always available, the staff is always so friendly & willing to help with anything! Pool always open when we go & always so clean! Staff always makes sure I get my room in front of the pool where we like to be! Thank you for always such a great experience!

My family and I felt that is was best for us all to go further north to a safe place from the hurricane. So we chose bestwestern in cordele ga. We've stay here plenty of times in the past and felt that it would be a safe location,and they have always made us feel so at home when ever we arrive. We arrived late night around 11pm and left at 7am on our way to visit our son. The staff was cheerful and friendly upon our late night arrival. The room was a decent size and the beds were comfortable. The musty smell was overwhelming but with such a quick stay, we dealt with it. Breakfast was fine.

Have stayed at this property many times. They have continually worked to update the rooms and facility. The fresh cookies and coffee at 6 in the evening is a nice touch of comfort after traveling all day.

We were going home and decided to stop and spend the night because we didn't feel well. The staff (especially the desk staff)were wonderful and so helpful. Best Western Colonial Inn is a pet friendly hotel also. The pool was right outside our room. I could sit in front of glass sliding door with the puppy and watch the others swim. Such a wonderful place to stay. Great hot cookies in afternoon and wonderful breakfast offered.

Stopped here for break on our way to vacation. Great location, outstanding front desk staff. Breakfast was above average. Rooms have a nice patio, pool area is very nice. Location couldn't be more convenient to the interstate. Nice place.

This is a nice hotel and I feel like it gave us great value. Much of the other hotels in this class were much more expensive. Our room was very nice and clean. When I was making my reservation i requested a lower level pool side room and that is exactly what I got. It was nice to have a patio to sit and watch the kids swim. The breakfast was very nice and plentiful. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. The staff were very warm and hospitable when checking in. We only came across one small issue and the staff responded well. There was a gentleman that appeared to be homeless or a drifter that was sitting on the hotel grounds for a long time. He appeared to be watching the people in the pool from a distance. He eventually left after awhile. When I saw a staff member, I mentioned it to her and she told me that if I ever saw the person again to call the front desk and they will make sure someone addresses the issue. We never saw him again, though.

The staff was fantastic and helpful. The rooms and pool were really good as well. The 2-stars is because the security at this hotel is terrible. The night I was there my car and a church van got broken into. The staff helped out as much as they could but without proper lighting and security cameras in the parking lots there is little they can do to protect guests. I won't be staying here again!

One night stay on our way from SW FL to KY. Neither this hotel, staff, grounds, nor breakfast disappoints us. The dog walk area is well-lit and has a bag dispenser and disposal. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel does have a nice pool area and fitness center; however, we have not taken advantage of either. I would recommend this hotel.

Very clean and room was very nice. Bed was extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel as a lot of the hotels around the area have bad reviews. They go out of there way to accommodate you and make sure your stay is pleasant.

Manger unreasonable and unprofessional . Was a mix-up with reservations (I had 2 on the same night) which did involve a conversation with BW CSV at their 800 number 2 days before. Was confirmed with them at CSV who then called the mgr. (she never returned my call) and explained and relayed their culpability in this small matter to the Mgr. at this BW. Then she charged us though we were not there and refused to offer refund though there was a reasonable explanation. We offered to stay the next night through the CSV dept, (she wouldn't talk to me directly, and still has not returned my call) she refused and said we would pay again if we stayed there. I stay at BW 20 plus times a year and have stayed at this location before. I probably would have stayed many more times. Not now. So, this brilliant business person, the manager ends up loosing in the end, as there are much better BW's not far away, which is were I'll be. The hotel is an average place, could use some work. My main complaint, is the manager is unethical.

Stopped in after reading good reviews. They are true! Pleasant desk crew and everything clean and well maintained. Older buildings but modernized as much as possible. For instance, bathroom in our one queen bed room was small... not much can be done about that. You can tell that alot of care and attention go into the property. Wish we could have used the pool- it looked great, but had to get on our way. Sat out on the room patio when the evening cooled. Lovely lobby and breakfast in the morning. Convenient restaurants surround the property.

We stopped here on our way home from FL. Unusual layout with the 2 keyed doors, but it worked. HUGE pool and great breakfast. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy. We would probably stay here again.

This is an older hotel building; however, it is obvious it has been remodeled and is well maintained. My daughter told me they have "a millionare's pool" and that we had to try it out. The pool is indeed very large and there is a swingset conveniently located next to it in a large grassy area. The room we had with two queen beds was large and had plenty of room to walk around. It also had a small balcony which was fun for the kids.

My husband and I were so pleased here, The staff was very helpful, friendly and saved the pillow I forgot until our return trip. The room was clean. The breakfast delicious especially the blueberry and strawberry sauces for the waffles. More than we expected for the reasonable price. We will stay again.

On our way home to Canada from Florida and stopped for a night. Very nice, clean and comfortable room. Great beds and the staff was wonderful. Will definitely stay again. Only small problem was the fridge was not on and a few of or items were ruined. Make sure you check the fridge.

We stayed overnight on our way to Panama City Beach. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool area was nice also. We brought our dog and there was plenty of yard to walk him along with poo stations. At 6 o'clock there was fresh baked cookies in the lobby for guests and in the morning there was a nice complimentary breakfast. If we were to be in the area again we would definitely return.

The personal were very friendly, the room was comfortable, clean. The receptionist provided me with a TV channel line up without me asking and the WiFi worked flawlessly. Wither breakfast was very good, I really enjoyed the sausage gravy. and fruit. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I were traveling down to Florida to see my mom and stopped here on our way down for the night. We had a king size bed that was very comfortable and the room had a new love seat sofa. Micro and Fridge also. The room was very quiet since was on the back side off the road. My only 2 complaints would be the bathroom was dark. Not enough light. Also has private outside entrances and if I was alone and not with my husband I may not have felt comfortable with that. Overall a nice place though. Great breakfast was served in the morning! Lots of choices. I would recommend it as a nice place to stay.

This motel is close to our family ancestral home, and we have stayed here many times over the years. However it has been several years since we returned, and I was concerned about whether it had been maintained properly, particularly when other motels in the area were priced considerably higher. The photos looked good and the reviews were consistently favorable, so we decided to give it a try. We could not have been more pleased. The rooms, furnishings and bath have all been renovated and kept up-to-date. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a delight. And our family reunion was a great success.

I stayed here with a group of senior adults while we were taking the SAM Train trip with a stop at Andersonville Prison before. The young lady checking us in was very friendly and helpful. She accommodated those who needed first floor rooms. They don't have an elevator. The rooms had recently been renovated with new tile in the bath and floors. Very comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Nice safe area. Some in the group commented about the noise during the night with traffic and the train (it is on a busy highway, but most of the other hotels are also). Overall it is a great place to stay with very good prices.

We stayed at BW during a ball tournament. We were nervous about choosing a place because of the Railroad and knowing some places are not great. We definitely chose a good place. Great Value for the money; half the cost of the newer hotel. The room was clean, everything was in working order, the train did not keep us up, the breakfast was delicious, and staff super friendly and accommodating. The sliding doors could use some TLC but they were secure. The only complaint I have is the trash pick up across the road at 4:45 am. Another note on staff: Apparently, I left a pair of pants. I received a call from the hotel letting me know they were found (I hadn't realized I left them) and they asked if I would like them shipped. They could easily have thrown them out or donated them. Great service.

I usually use reviews but very seldom leave them (i'll do better) but i had to comment on this place. On a business trip and this was a very very nice place to stay. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great fresh cookies, and super comfortable and clean rooms with tons of cable channels (rare in my experience). The breakfast literally destroys other hotels like this with the dry toast and tasteless waffles. This place had biscuits n gravy, delicious sausage (not the microwave greezy crap like others), grits, fruit, juice, etc. Thank you to all the staff there i will make sure this will be my go to hotel whenever i take this trip again. Keep up the good hospitality.

When we were driving through bad weather on the interstate, we opted to pull over in Cordele and chose the Best Western. There were freshly baked cookies in the lobby for their visitors, and the staff was more than helpful. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Husband is working nearby, met him for a night away from home. Chose this motel because the price was reasonable. Nicely remodeled motel. Very friendly at check in and check out. We had a room right on the main highway so it was very noisy. The train comes thur very close by several times during the night. The doors open straight to the outside so nothing to really help with noise reduction. Bed was comfortable. The pillows on the other hand were terrible. Pillows from hell is the phrase my husband used lol. They were huge an did not shrink when you layed your head on them so we both got up with crinks in our necks. I would stay again but I would prefer a room not on the main highway and I would definitely bring my pillows from home.

I told a friend I got a $200 bathroom for $75 room rate. The room was clean, nicely appointed and comfortable. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. It is crazy to require 200 characters in order to leave a review.

We decided to try the BW this time instead of our usual Drury or Hampton. We were pleasantly surprised! The rate was about half or more for basically the same amenities. Staff was great. Breakfast was good. Typical hotel food. But no bacon. Coffee and cookies available in evening. We will stay at the BW again and any other BW when we travel. Plenty of places to eat around this BW and all within walking distance.

We stayed at the Best Western Colonial Inn because it was midway to our final destination. This is my favorite of all the Best Westerns we have stayed in. The room was large and clean. The staff was very friendly and recommended a great restaurant for our dinner. We will definitely be back when we make future trips to visit our family in north Georgia.

on our way back from key west Florida we booked the colonial Inn. It was what we were used to finding in a best western. room was above average clean with nice linens & bedsheets. furniture was in good condition. breakfast was adequate. we do recommend

We stayed for one night on our trip from Michigan to Florida. The staff could not have been nicer. The king bed room, while smaller than in many hotels (especially the bathroom area), was clean and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was a notch above many. The cost of the room was significantly lower than neighboring hotels. We would stay again.

Traveling from Ohio to Florida, we wanted a hotel that was conveniently located just off the highway. The lobby had coffee, tea, and water, which was very much appreciated after a long day of travel. The hotel staff were all very polite and friendly. All rooms are accessed from the outside. The room was fairly clean, although the carpet had not been vacuumed. But the traffic/truck noise level was just too great, and it didn't wane, even in the wee hours of the night. The ventilation system did not allow for the fan to run continuously, so we couldn't create "white noise." The noise, along with very uncomfortable pillows, made for a miserable , sleepless night.

We travel back & forth from FL to MI at least 4 times per year. Don't know how we missed this great beauty. Not only is it very reasonably priced & allows pets, the interior is updated, spotless & comfy. Larger frig, microwave, coffee & Direct Tv. Right off the Interstate (75) & close to a variety of eat-in & fast food restaurants. Pleasant surprise on all levels!

I was cold and tired when I checked in to the Best Western in Cordele. The ladies behind the desk were friendly and helpful. The room was warm and clean, but, best of all, I parked right outside my room and had no difficulty transferring my luggage inside, or out the next morning.

Our stay at this hotel was good for the money we paid. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was one of the best complimentary breakfasts I have had anywhere in our many travels. The room was very clean and tidy. However the room itself was very dated and some of the things didn't work well because of the age. For example we had a VERY hard time with the key cards and there was obvious wear and tear all over the very dated room. This Best Western needs a serious updating. However that being said I give this hotel a 4 out of 5 because of the courteous and very helpful staff and the cleanliness of the entire hotel, from the lobby and grounds to our room everything was spotless.

First let me say that the staff was amazing. The breakfast was typical of most hotels where it is included.... average but not bad.... with a small eating area. The rooms are small and on the older side. The place needs a major makeover. You are allowed to bring pets with a $10 surcharge added to your room. It was ok for one night after travelling all day but I am sure there are better places for the same price. It does have a great location close to the I75 and plenty of restaurants near by, some within walking distance. Would I go back? Probably not.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I must mention that freshly baked cookies are a treat upon arrival! The reason I didn't give a 5 is that the room itself is tired. The bedding however was wonderful. I often find hotel sheets worn or scratchy;these were perfect. The breakfast was good for a small hotel; I didn't go away hungry so there is definitely enough to eat. I will happily return here next year.

Nice layout of the room. Bed is very comfortable unlike the last place we stayed. The only thing I would recommend is to book a room in the back or side of building. We are in the front with quite a bit of street noise. No biggy to us, just turn up the fan! We thought the price is reasonable for a clean, comfortable room.

This hotel is Dog friendly, it has a great breakfast and is in a good location. The staff was really helpful and service was quick. The bed was a little firm but that is a personal preference. We still definitely stay again.

Breakfast was very good. At a lot of the hotels that offer free breakfast, have terrible food, or are out of items. We were traveling through and found this gem of a hotel for my husband, me and our little Yorkie. We always enjoy a freshly baked cookie at check-in, no matter how late the hour! On our recent trip to Florida we stopped in Cordele Georgia to spend the night. Had a great meal at the Dapje Lodge and as we were Best Western Reward members booked the Best Western in the town. The check-in was great with friendly saff. The problem was there was a train that ran throughout the night. Made for a restless night. We won't stay there again. With having a 14 hour drive, we can't accept a night without sleep.The breakfast was great. Hotel was clean but a little bit worn from wear. Hotel price was higher than the surroundings.

The room was great. Couldn't stand having to put up with Fox News at breakfast. The food could be better too. The eggs could be better. No need to have TV's blaring at breakfast. (Can we please eat in peace) Wi Fi is great too. Would give the hotel a lot better rating except for my breakfast experience.

Have stayed here for over 30 years. They accepted pets here and price after pet charges was doable! Traveled from our home in florida to aveour Overpricedcabin in North Carolina. This is the half way point. Breakfast used to be fresh and hot with a selection of fresh fruit. That all has changed for the worse. Prices soared for two now near $100 OTD with senior discount! PLACE IS FULL OF CONTRACTOR TRUCKS, with fewfspaces to park your $30k car between them. Niw just a over crowded average old motel! Nothing special here any more. After Many stays, no more! I do not recomend this location, but Its yoor call

After leaving the motel for dinner we returned back to find our parking stall was taken by a pick up truck & trailer occupying 7 parking stalls. We notified mgmt. but nothing ever got resolved. It didn't seem to be a priority to them. Do to that this motel is history for us.

We booked this hotel shortly after Hurricane Michael went through this area. We were visiting family that had been impacted by the storm. The staff were hospitable and helpful. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was outstanding - best I have experienced in my many travels. The lady who put out the breakfast was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this as an affordable stop for anyone.

The ladies at the front desk were very nice and very professional, in the wake of Hurricane Michael, the relentless phone calls and lobby full of people. Every employee we came into contact with went out of their way - even though many of them had experienced damage and were still without power from the storm. The breakfast was great too - especially the sausage and gravy.

My wife and I were taking our adult children and one grandchild on a cruise and I reserved two rooms here based on TripAdvisor reviews. They couldn't have been more spot on. Large, clean rooms and comfy beds, very good hot breakfast, and some of the best service from all staff members I encountered. One of our rooms had a little of a strong cleaning smell but other than that, we couldn't have had it any better. Close to the interstate, quiet rooms, inexpensive, and friendly people. We were pleasantly surprised by this gem of a place: well lit, well manicured outside, clean and super comfy inside. Absolutely charming and pet friendly, with breakfast included and good cold air conditioning in the rooms.

Historically, I've not been a fan of Best Westerns but this place has turned me around. The staff is amazingly friendly staff - every single person from the pool maintenance man tot he front desk. The rooms were freshly painted and very nice linens and beds. I loved that we have a front and back door. The sliding back door leads to your own seating area (2 metal chairs) and either overlooks the pool or a big grassy area with swings for the kids or a great walking area for the pooch. I was impressed with the care that has been given to the landscaping. Very unusual for a roadside hotel. The only drawback was the bathroom. It seemed like the room had been remodeled but not the bathroom. It was super clean but had mold stains on ceiling and some peeling wall paper. An ample breakfast was included. Again I'm not a fan of the roadside hotel breakfasts but they had grits, sausage and biscuits, mini omelette, waffles and fruit, cereal. I'm sure most people love it. If you have a dog, I'd request a downstairs room on the pool side of the hotel. The odd numbers rooms starting at 137 and up.

Right off of I75. Good restaurants within walking distance (Cracker Barrel, Captain D's and Chick Filet). They always have fresh baked cookies waiting for you at check-in. I have stayed here at least 15 times on my way to Florida and have not had a bad experience yet. Quiet restful sleep every time on very comfortable beds.

We don't usually travel down the I-75 corridor traveling to South Florida but Hurricane Florence forced us to "expand our horizons". Thanks to the Best Western and East 16th Bar & Grill in Cordele GA this turned into a great detour. We checked several motels in the Cordele area and determined the Best Western - Colonial Inn was the best choice. Upon going into the entry, I was greeted by Debbie & Alishia plus a platter of fresh cookies. After driving for 6 or 7 hours, this appeared to be paradise. I explained to them that we were heading home after 13 days on the road and needed a 1st floor room. They were quick to say "no problem". We backed up to the room, found a king bed, fridge and microwave. The room was large, smelled pleasant and very clean. Paradise indeed! After checking a few restaurant listings, we decided to check with the front desk and again, Debbie & Alishia were right on target. We asked about East 16th Bar & Grill and they recommended it. We had so much fun there with the restaurant Staff - we made sure to report back to Debbie & Alishia upon our return that their choice was great. Even though the highway is not far from the motel, we slept great with no noise issues. The next morning my wife went to the lobby to get breakfast and we were shocked again. The breakfast offerings were fantastic! The sausage is from a local supplier and is amazing. The biscuits and gravy (not my usual choice) was very light and fluffy. The mini-omelets were great also. The crowning glory was the grits. For true southern boys - grits can only be 2 ways - fantastic or horrible. These were excellent. I've never had a free motel breakfast that was this good. Upon checkout I asked to speak to the Manager. For most innkeepers this is usually a bad sign. The manager (I believe her name was Terry) came out and I explained to her, the Desk Agent and the Breakfast Lady how happy we were with the Staff, their recommendations the night before, the overall motel and the breakfast. There was not one item or issue that would have made out visit anything less than great. Kinda rare these days.. We cannot express our THANKS to the Staff at this Best Western enough. Their pride shows and we would recommend this location to any travelers. Looking forward to visiting them again in the future. Cheers, L&J Miami Beach

The hotel was clean and the Staff was great. The breakfast was excellent. I'm on a scooter and there was no auto doors to get in the lobby. There is only one ramp in the front of the hotel and you have to go completely around the hotel if your room is on the other side. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my stay and all of the staff were great. They just need to make it a little more handicapped compliant.

My room was FILLED with mosquitoes! At least 50-60. When I checked in I was wearing long pants, and noticed a couple flying around, but then changed into shorts to finish some reports on my computer and they started biting my legs. I could not sleep because of the mosquitoes buzzing around my head and walked to the hotel office around 11:30 PM. I thought they would move me, but the woman shrugged and said "Sorry for the mosquitoes." My advice to anyone staying here would be to take plenty of OFF to spray your family or prepare to wear a beekeeper's bonnet to bed. Two stars because the check-in staff were polite and speedy and the room was clean.

This was a great find. Hotel looks a little older on the outside but the rooms have all been redone. Beautiful furnishing. Comfy bed. Great location next to i-75. Good Wi-Fi. Great price with coupon from GA welcome center booklet. Every staff member we met spoke and was friendly. Had fresh cookies in the evening and a full breakfast in the morning - omletes, waffles, biscuits & gravy and more! Charlie, the front desk manager checked is in and was delightful. Would definitely come back!

I stayed here overnight on a recent road trip. The best thing about the hotel were the people. They were all very friendly and ready to help. The hotel itself is dated and in need of some refreshing. The rooms were dark and there was a lot of road noise from the busy road in front. The rooms were pretty clean. The breakfast was luke warm at best. To me this is the place to spend a night if you need to, but not more than that.

This hotel is the best Best Western I have ever stayed at. I usually shy away from BW but now I may try them again. They do not let you in the lobby late at night but that was the only complaint I had. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was nice. The price was great. The breakfast was tasty. They has a tooth brush for my kids who forgot theirs. I would definitely return. Trip Advisor this was good advise on this hotel. It was a winner.

If you are looking for a pet-friendly place with lots of neighborly folks-this is it. From check-in to check-out the staff was courteous and friendly! Warm cookies, hot tea and coffee greeted us in the lobby. The housekeeping staff had our room spot-less, neat, and sweet-smelling.(Did I mention this was a pet-friendly room?) There was plenty of outdoor walking space for us and the dogs right outside our door, with no noisy or busy streets to bother us. (Ask for a room on the pool side of the Inn) We had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was plentiful and piping hot! Will make this a regular stop from now on!

Very caring and professional check staff work with me trying to make sure I got my reward points. They were having some problem with internet she said she would hold my number and keep trying to assist the system.

Other than the sliding glass door and chairs, the room and grounds were very nice. Breakfast was better than some higher end hotels we have stayed in. Overall pleased with the room, grounds and breakfast.

Weve stayed here in the past, but they put us in the back section. This time we were in the front section and had a rough night. Between the road noise and the train whistles we heard numerous times we got a very restless sleep. Then around 6:30 we heard banging and doors slaming. When we stepped out to go to breakfast which was very good, this was 3 feet from our front door. Not a good showing!!

Can't beat the location, just a hop off I-75 and lots of amenities nearby. Very nice folks on staff and slightly better than the average, but fairly consistent, Best Western culture. Almost always stay at BWestern due to good value and decent rooms & breakfast. Only $70 plus tax in July. Not bad.

Stayed here many times, keeps a high standard of customer service. Updated decor was a bonus. Staff is always friendly, and close to so many choices to dine. Very convenient to I-75. Will definitely be back soon.

Nice overnight stay after a long trip. Clean, conveniently located, comfortable and well staffed. Restaurants and gas stations at your fingertips. Breakfast was excellent and ready even earlier than expected. Professional and caring staff. Pool available but did not use due to inclement weather. Easy to connect to the internet and they provided a TV channel guide. There wer no more available rooms on the 1st level so we did have to use the stairs. Would stay there again!

We were looking for room at the last minute and checked Hampton Inn and Suites and they were $140 night then checked across street and Best Western was $75. We took it and they had chocolate chip cookies fresh baked and ladies that checked us in were real nice. We checked into room. Nice room and had free breakfast. So we went to breakfast in morning and they had Belgium waffles. Scrambled eggs and sausage. Biscuit and gravy. Milk and juice and free USA today. The manager even came out and asked how everything was besides room but breakfast also. When I head to Florida next time I will be sure to make that my night spot and reserve room ahead of time.

Wow was I surprised, I was expecting a basic clean room for the amount I paid. The room was large and clean , beds were great , staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was large and clean. Full breakfast, we will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Best place to stay in southern Georgia. That room had a door wall that opened up. Large field close by for walking dog. Several good restaurants nearby. Ideal place. Breakfast was outstanding. Everything spotless.

Stayed one night on the road. A good rate meant a really good value. Big free breakfast. Pet friendly with large walking area. Even supply waste bags. Looks like some rooms are being remodeled. All in all a good night.

I stayed in this hotel twice. Once on my way to my destination and once on my way home. The rooms I stayed in were very nice and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the Cordele Ga. area.

What a fantastic surprise this hotel was! Was worried about Memorial Day traffic, so I departed Metro Atlanta the evening of Thursday, May 24, at 9:00. It was raining and ran into some traffic through Atlanta. My goal was to make it to Cordele, which is half way to my parents. By the time I got to Cordele it was midnight. So I was very tired. The hotel was an oasis! Clean. Nicely appointed. Friendly staff. Excellent t experience.

Traveling through the area and just needed a place to sleep for the night. Several other nearby hotels were way overpriced for the area, so we decided to try here. Everything from the lobby to the room was clean and functional. Bed was just slightly more firm than I like . Several eateries within walking distance. Would definitely use again.

Reasonable price for a comfortable facility. We've stayed here while traveling to and from Florida for several years and it has recently upgraded many of the amenities. We like it... it's a good value for the dollar.

Based on reviews we thought this would be a step up from a quality inn we were considering so we were willing to pay $10 more. We weren't happy with the condition of the mattress but it was passable. But what turned out to be the biggest problem for us were the pillows - they were about 8 inches thick and firm without much give. Who sleeps on pillows like these? And, the sheets were of a coarse texture that was very uncomfortable on my face. I ended up getting extra bath towels and using those for a pillow. It would have been that or no pillow at all. They no longer have a fitness facility available although it is listed on their description. And I notice that the hotel's favorite review mentions cheese omelets... There were no cheese omelettes. On check out we complained about the pillows and asked if there were other choices and the desk clerk said no, that these were Best Western branded pillows and no other choices. Until they give more choices on pillows I would not choose to stay here again. Oh... also when we entered the room there was an odor that was hard to describe until I remembered how our furry dog used to smell right after a shampoo while he was still wet. That was a fond memory for us but it might not be for someone else.

All in all a very good motel/hotel experience. Breakfast was good, cheese omelettes, biscuits & gravy, sausage and the usual breads, waffles & juices. Morning shower was warm, couldn't get it hot. Informed the desk at check out & the hotel adjusted bill accordingly & immediately. Would stay again and would recommend this hotel to travelers.

The room was dated but clean. They courtyard side is nice and quite. A large grassy area, and a pool. Grounds we kept nice and each room had a patio. Great for being dog friendly and a low pet fee. Check in was fast and easy, staff were friendly. They had a good breakfast selection.

I have stayed at the Best Western Colonial Inn many times in the last 20 years. Not much has changed except for the lobby which looks like a luxury hotel lobby now. The morning breakfast is very good and the coffee is hot and plenty of it. The rooms are comfortable as is the beds. Noting outstanding good or bad. Just a nice, friendly and easy to stay at location. Walk to Chick Fil-A across the street or to Cracker Barrel across the parking lot or simply walk next door for seafood. Worth the money!!

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and the free breakfast was actually surprisingly good. Good location, right off the freeway. Check in and out was made easy, overall a good night sleep. If ever in this area again, I will use this hotel again.

This motel is a great value for the price. The next night after we stayed here we paid 50% more for a motel that was not even close to the Colonial Inn. Everything looks like new and it was very convenient and quiet.

Wonderful breakfast. The cheese omelet was a nice surprise. We will definitely stay here again. It was a good value for less than $100.00 per night. We enjoyed the balcony that overlooked the pool area.

The ladies who checked us in could not have been more welcoming. The rooms here come with either a door that opens to a small porch area or a balcony that is large enough to sit several chairs on. We found our room to be large with a microwave and a refrigerator. The bathroom area was clean and well thought out with a sink both inside the bathroom and one just outside of the bathroom. Breakfast is served from 6:00 am-10:00 am and included the regulars that you see everywhere but also sausage, grits and eggs. The one side of the hotel has an outdoor pool, swing set and large pet area. There was a $10.00 pet fee at this hotel.

I tend to be a BW loyal customer, but this hotel was a disappointment. The room was very clean, but the carpet is lifting off the floor, plaster is crumbling in the bathroom, and the wallpaper is lifting off. Most frustrating was trying to access the internet. We tried with multiple devices and could only get one logged on. Every time we tried to enter the password, it would go to the advertiser - over 20 attempts. On the plus side, the staff was very nice, the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway with multiple restaurants surrounding.

pleased with this room, perfect for our travel back home for 1 night, our room faced main road so found it a bit noisy but other than that would recommend this motel and would stay again when travelling

Been here before. It has a couple of things I like. First, on the first floor there are rear entrances you can park your car next to, but also hallway entrances to keep out of the weather. Next are the pillows, hotels are going to smaller pillows now, not sure why, but these, while small, are denser and provide more support for me. Then bed is very comfortable and I got more sleep than usual. Breakfast bar is full, with eggs, sausage, biscuits, etc.. Folks are very nice there. Quality was excellent for a sub $100 hotel room.

We stayed here end of Feb. 2018 on our way to Florida. Rooms were reasonably clean although somewhat dated. Beds were comfortable. The free morning breakfast was very good with nice selection of hot and cold items. Sausages were great. Coffee was excellent.

From check in to check out the staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and had a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good with much to choose from fresh made waffles with delicious toppings to biscuits and gravy. Best of all it was fresh and hot.

Desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room had a lock issue and the staff went out of their way to get me a different room. Great service. Room was nice. Looked well kept and clean. was crazy cold out and the heat worked fine. No complaints other than I had a room that faced the road and the road noise from the traffic was quite noticeable all night. Try and get a room that doesn't face the road and you should be good to go. Breakfast was the basic. No issues. Wi-fi worked fine. I'd stay again if in the area. Just would request a room not facing the road.

My husband and arrived late after the lobby closed but there was a desk clerk behind a window like an old movie ticket booth. The clerk was very pleasant and easy to understand. She had us registered in five minutes and even gave us a veterans discount after we showed her the "V" on the back of my husband's drivers license. The room was attractive and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately we left early the next morning but would have definitely stayed longer if we could.

The Best Western Colonial Inn is older, has fairly small rooms, and is clean. It's a good place to go for a short stay. It's also a good place for pets. You can park right in front of your room. Management is friendly & accommodating.

We go to dog field trials near Cordele and always stay at this hotel. The property is clean, staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast is the best we have ever had as a free perk at a chain hotel. They accept our dogs for a minimal nightly fee too.

Had a room with two Queen beds. One bed was comfortable the other needed a new mattress. The staff was friendly and courteous. Room was clean. Got in at 11 pm and it was no problem. Will definitely stay there again

I did not have a reservation and needed a pet friendly property and this property was close by and available. Room was cozy, clean and comfortable. I was only there for a short while and left before breakfast so don't know how it was. Staff was polite and efficient.

My room was clean and comfortable. Large beds with soft mattress. microwave and refrigerator sink inside bathroom and one out side. Nice double doors for patio sitting. large out door pool and nice places to walk. Pet friendly also. I will stay here anytime I am in this area. Close to places to eat also. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was right with my stay.

Motels in the Cordele area are more reasonable than some parts of Southern Georgia. There was no elevator to the second floor, so ask for a first-floor room if stairs are a problem. Breakfast was pretty good, and all of the staff was friendly and helpful. There was some road noise, but I carry a "white-noise" app on my phone, so it was not a problem for me.

Arriving late, they lock the door to reception and you are passed your key through a flap, similar to a late night visit to a gas station. Don't let that put you off, this hotel is easy to recommend, the rooms a good size. We had two twin beds and the pillows were the perfect size for me. It was particularly cold and we struggled to fill the tub with hot water, the heating in the room was effective. We slept well, it's a quiet hotel, not too far off the 75, but far enough away to be peaceful. Morning and we had an excellent hot breakfast, the staff very friendly, taking time to chat to guests.

Greeted by staff who were eager to make our stay nice. The bed was clean and comfortable. Easy entrance and exit to the Interstate. Great rate at &87 total. I missed having extra plugs on the bedside table for electronics and the breakfast was mediocre.

What kind of idiot thought beds that are more than three feet high are a good idea! They are so hard to get into that I seriously considered dragging the mattress onto the floor. To top it off, the bedside tables are a regular height making it impossible to reach anything on a table from the bed.

This was a great hotel. Clean, easy access to everything. The breakfast was good, hot and a verity to choose from. The staff went out of there way to make your stay a good one. I will use this Best Western again when traveling to Florida.

All eight pillows in the room were very hard and bulky. Otherwise the room was okay. We've stayed at this Best Western many times in the past but since the "renovation", the pillows have been replaced with hard/bulky pillows. There is also a table and chair set (with a wobbly lamp) that makes it difficult to move around in the room.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.very nice hotel. I would stay there again in any of my travels to and from Kentucky. The staff was very helpful in check-in and told me they had express check out.

Cleanliness & amenities were our troubles. The staff made new sheets available at front desk. Rooms are big, with balcony but not very secure, loose sliding door. Internet was unavailable with code and we chose to eat at cracker barrel instead.

We stay at this hotel twice a year but unfortunately this stay wasn't good due to the toilet not flushing and the tv remote not working. During our checkout the housekeeper said they needed to replace all the remotes too many were bad and just not working.

Nice room but well equipped for travellers needs . Breakfast was good as usual for Best Western. There is shoping available by if needed. The unit was priced right for the travellers. This is about four hours from Sarrasota .

We needed a stopover for a night and price here was good. Have not used Best Western for 10 years since they stole my large points balance without telling me. (The blurb now says points don't expire but they did then!). Hotel was acceptable. Room was small but clean and acceptable. Bed not as comfortable as some hotels, even budget ones, provide these days. Breakfast the usual 'free' fare, so uninspiring. No fruit, not even a banana. Slow internet.

We stay here on our way to Florida every year. We are always very satisfied with the rooms, service and staff. They have new furniture on order, and we can't wait to see it on our next stay. We have stayed in many, many times on our way to Florida 1-2 times each year. I have even made reservations here for my children who go down to Florida as well.

Stopped here for a night on our way to Kentucky. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was clean and very spacious. Modern decore that suggested the hotel had been renovated recently but prices were very reasonable. $10 fee for our cat, but we thought that was fair. The breakfast buffet was awesome with scrambled eggs, sausage, grits, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereals, fruit, yogurt, toast, juice, and coffee. Would probably pay $10-$15 for this at Waffle House or Denny's. Anyhow it was a great stay and we'll definitely go back there.

Never have we received such a warm welcome at a chain hotel. Our gold status was acknowledged and we were treated to a bag of goodies. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, meeting our needs even before we knew we had them. The hotel is attractive and well kept and our room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was really good, too. To make this even better, the cost was a lot less than the Hampton across the street. We would go out of our way to stay here the next time we are in the area.

This Best Western has EXCELLENT management and people working the facility. Soooo MUCH BETTER THAN THE HAMPTON INN across the street. Better TV channels, better price, much more friendly and accommodating and the sausage they serve at breakfast is amazing. This is a rare find among my travels.

This place is very nice. Beautiful grounds and pool. Places to eat very close by. Great hot breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and Johnie on the spot. Family owned for 53 years they told us and it showed.

Colonial Inn is clean and up-to-date, with the expected amenities. Rates are reasonable. We loved the outside room entrances to the first floor rooms that face the parking area. Breakfast was good. We will stay there again when in the area.

What a gem of a hotel! Definitely one of the nicest Best Western Hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was so nice, very clean room, decorated very nicely, and really good breakfast. We have stayed here twice in the month of October due to a family funeral. Just can't say enough nice things about the hotel and their staff. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just a sleeping stop in the midst of a longer road trip, right off I-75. Room was clean, bed very comfortable, breakfast very good, wife even said coffee was okay and she's picky about her coffee. However, they have a few rooms that front Hwy 280 and they don't mention that your room faces all the road noise, so if you're not a heavy sleeper, ask for a room in the back or away from the road.

This hotel Wowed me with upgrades and look. I would however replace the mattress in #248 the bed on the left, You'll see it right away why (BIG dip in the middle, I had to climb out of bed. Other than that this Hotel is great!

I tried to use Trivago but calling the front desk got the best room rate. I stop at this hotel on almost every trip to Naples, FL. The only problem is train noise in the night. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from in this small town.

We arrived very late, hotel staff was excellent, friendly and ready for our arrival. The Colonial Inn is an excellent value. We slept well and Cable/WiFi worked great. The breakfast was very good in the morning. Checkout was fast and easy.

Very large clean room. Nicely decorated. Cookies in the evening and the best sausages for breakfast! Loved the TV remote in a bag labeled "fresh remote". The single drawback was lumpy, overly large pillows. Will definitely return.

Finding Best Western to be among the small handful of overall good bangs for the buck, and Colonial Inn the watermark of non-lower level locations, around 1am, on a Thursday morning. A broad smooth entrance delivered my Chevy truck under a decently lit overhang, in eyeshot of signage clearly indicating night window service. A very friendly, pretty lady greeted with a welcoming South Georgia twang and cut right to the chase. Registration wheels in motion, she with only minor pause honored both my AAA and BW Rewards, which brought the rate to a more reasonable place than anticipated. Although I did request a first-floor room, since work requires that I safely maintain bulky valuables, not to be left unattended in a highway-side lot- sometimes prompting up to five trips to the vehicle, I unhesitatingly settled with a second floor walk-up in the furthest building, it being among three remaining availabilities at that hour. The necessary drive to the room toured me by an array of milling, wee-hour blue collar workers, typical to near any jump-off-the interstate chain hotel establishment. The front outdoor patios are popular smoking perches for some gruff characters with prison sneers. As I'd been informed, the room was a double at the single rate. It was comfortable, well-organized, reasonably updated, and had an air of cleanliness, right down to the sanitary remote control slip. Breakfast presentation later that morning was done with some TLC, and provided good sustenance for the day, along with the highly-audible morning news television, although I felt deprived after the compact refrigerator stifled my craving for hard-boiled eggs!

Very nice hotel located about an hour south of Atlanta, Friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast. Located close to a coupe of very interesting side trips (Andersonville POW camp and Jimmy Carter Historical Site).We will be glad to stay here again.

The pool was under construction. No one told us about that before we checked in. The hotel was nice, clean, and the staff was friendly. It was very close to several fast food restaurants, which was perfect for us.

Easy check in. Friendly staff. Old rooms but relatively clean. Bed was horrible for us. Toilet seat was really loose. Position of toilet was awful. Toilet paper roll is on sink stand so when sitting on toilet It was pressed against upper thigh and contortions were required to get it off the roll. When going to take a shower at 6am the little thing you pull up to activate the shower head came off in our hand. So it was a quick sink wash for us. Very noisy location. It's an okay place for a quick overnight stop but not for us.

All our needs were met. Room could use some updating. It was clean, modern bathroom but just a little outdated. We had a handicap room that had a window into an alley to outside. There was no way that my husband could have gone to the lobby on his own. There is a steep hill from our room to the main part of the Inn. Our dog found some food that was between the bed and night stand, an unopened slim jim. Refrigerator could not be used as the knob to turn it on was missing. Not a biggie and I reported so it could be repaired for next guest.

Needed to take few hours of sleep. We decided to stay at this best western. Room was comfy. Bathroom would be better if upgraded and change old rugs. Got breakfast is available. Would come back. If you heading I75 north Google garbinos Mexican grill, 5 star Mexican food.

Perfect place to stay and relax after a long day on the road. Staff very pleasant. Rooms well maintained and complimentary water was that little touch that impressed us. Breakfast offerings were good.

Booking online was about ten dollars cheaper than by phone. The check-in was fast and simple. This hotel has been updated and is feature friendly with an insightful dual first floor entrance and balcony for the second floor. There is coffee in the room, toiletries, and comfortable bed. Coffee is available in the lobby around the clock, nice breakfast, with an clean first appearance look that did not disappoint us upon further inspection. I give this a 5 out of 5 for "getting bang for the buck." The Hampton across the street would be a step up but a double the price. Great value with good amenities. Will certainly stay again.

Best Western located on hotel row adjacent to I-75. It was within walking distance to several fast food outlets. The hotel and room were clean and comfortable, witheverything working satisfactorily. The breakfast offerings were good, but limited.

I arrived at about 9 pm, and I was tired and wanted to go to the room soon. I was able to go in and relax quickly by the kind and prompt progress of the hotel reception staff. I would like to reserve again if I have a chance next time.

My wife and I have stayed at the Colonial Inn several times, and are always treated to a great stay. The staff is professional and friendly, the facility is clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is the best. We look forward to our next stay.

I used this hotel to break up my ride home after evacuation from hurricane Irma. Everyone was friendly and the hotel itself was very nice. It was convenient to I75 and had many restaurants close by. Would definitely stay there again.

This is an excellent hotel that I will return to anytime I am traveling in the area. The staff truly cares about the guests and the hotel is well-kept. The breakfast is fantastic, especially the biscuits and gravy.

A true bargain. It's no wonder this hotel was booked full the last two times I passed through Cordele. Great breakfast. The room was as nice as hotels where I pay 4 times the rate. Great staff. Straight forward pricing. Everyone pays the same rate. No wondering if you paid too much or missed a deal.

Great hotel for the price. Clean room, swimming pool, strong wifi, close to places to eat and good breakfast in the lobby. It doesn't get any better than this, folks. The playground and yards were great too. Good for walking around after a day in a car

We are one of the families that had to evacuate Florida due to Hurricane Irma. It took us HOURS and HOURS to find a "pet friendly" hotel with available rooms. We are SO glad that we took those hours and ended up finding the Best Western Colonial Inn. To begin with, the front desk personnel, though frazzled from all the activity, were welcoming and friendly. The hotel's appearance was really nice. They offered a free breakfast in the mornings. The room was very nice. It looked as if the hotel had been recently renovated. Each room had a little patio (on the ground floor) or a balcony on the 2nd floor, which was a nice touch. The bed was VERY comfortable and the room came with a small refrigerator and microwave. The only downside I saw was that there was no elevator for the 2nd floor and my husband has a mobility handicap...so the stairs were difficult...but because of the evacuation situation and the fact that we couldn't arrive until 11 pm, we were just grateful to have a nice room where our little dog was as welcome as we were! The price was very reasonable as well. There were also many fast food restaurants as well as table service restaurants and several gas stations all around this little gem of a hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice clean room with very comfortable king bed. Coffee maker and fridge. Second floor with no elevator might be a problem for some. Great manager special rate @69.99. REALLY nice hot and cold breakfast selections. Nice pool area.

This hotel met our one night travel needs. The staff was absolutely amazing. The interior and exterior have been remodeled. The rooms need it badly. Our door did not function correctly half the time. In fact, the first set of cards would not open the door but the night clerk fixed that quickly. Our car battery died overnight because we left a cooler plugged in but the front desk found a maintenance man who jumped us off promptly. The breakfast was good.

This hotel has always been really nice. It is clean, and the staff is very pleasant! The breakfast is a full breakfast and the dining area is very spacious. Check-in and check-out is hassle free, and they always address any concerns you may have.

We were traveling home from Clayon GA Solar Eclipse and experienced a ton of traffic, we would not arrive home until 3:30 so we decided to check-in off of your exit. I have been very satisfied with Best Western in the past and booking,com displayed competitive rates. We were very glad that we stopped and spent the night at The Best Western. I had an enjoyable stay here for 3 days. My room was tidy and well stocked, the daily breakfast was good and a huge plus, the small patio outside my room's back door was very nice to have, the property was well maintained and the pool is large and very clean. Every member of the staff here is so nice and helpful, incredible service! There was plenty of room and grassed areas to exercise my 2 dogs and there are several fast food eateries, Walmart, gas stations, etc., some within walking distance. 16 East Bar and Grill is exceptional, a really cool restaurant with excellent food. The Georgia Veteran's State Park is 15 minutes away and is a must see!

Staff were the most helpful and caring I've encountered. The facility is nicely landscaped and well maintained. It seems to have been recently renovated. Coffee is always available in the lobby, which has beautiful furnishings, and freshly baked cookies are available late afternoon. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable in both our rooms; the handicap room was spacious and well designed. A very pleasant stay and a great value.

Needed a place on the way to Florida. The Best Western in Cordele, GA was convenient and clean. There were plenty of food choices close by and Walmart was just now the street. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again if traveling to Florida.

We stopped here for the night on our way to North Carolina. The room and hotel are VERY clean and have an" old school " feel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was simply outstanding. We were very impressed on how quiet and well sound proofed the room was. Also it was great to have several food options very close by after a long day of driving. This location will be our regular stop between Florida and NC.

This is an older property just off of I-75 in Cordele, GA in the old-style of a roadside motor hotel. Since we were on the ground floor, parking lot side (not poolside), we were able to access the room from both the parking lot and an inner hallway (which would come in handy if it was pouring rain outside). The check-in was easy as I had made reservations through the corporate website. The folks at the front desk were courteous and professional. The lobby and breakfast area are immaculately clean and reflected a modern décor. Between the friendliness of the staff and the front entrance design, the overall effect is welcoming. Breakfast itself was standard fare, including the ubiquitous waffle iron, but everything was well-prepared and exceptionally well-maintained thanks to the lady who was kind enough to bring me fresh sausages. The swimming pool area looked very nice but there is no on-site fitness room. The room itself, however, was a huge disappointment. You would be hard pressed to find a more eclectic mix of styles, patterns, colors, and textures. It looks like a combination of old furniture from a second-hand consignment shop and whatever might have been on sale at the nearest big box store; the flat screen TV sits in stark contrast to the ancient dresser it rests on. In addition, the workmanship of the installation (caulking, grouting, painting, etc.) leaves a lot to be desired - perhaps the owners did the work themselves rather than hiring professionals. To make matters worse, there is much evidence of shoddy maintenance and upkeep (a cobweb above the lampshade near the bedroom mirror, leaky bathtub faucet, inoperative electrical outlets, paint spatters, crud, and scuff marks). I understand that the hotel is planning further renovations and that most of the interior furnishings are scheduled for replacement (that should be expedited). Sometime during the night, I felt a small insect crawling on my arm – although I didn't open my eyes to check, I believe it was an ant – which was instantly dispatched with extreme prejudice. We called the front desk to request a wake-up call and they seemed totally uncertain which room we were in. Then, when the wake-up call did come, it seemed early because the alarm clock on the nightstand was set for an hour earlier than it actually was; so we ignored the call and overslept. I used some of my accumulated Best Western Rewards Points to pay for the room, thinking that, at 12k points, the room would be quite a bargain. However, after having spent the night, I now believe that truly was all that the room was worth. Had I paid for the room with real money I would have felt overcharged. What is even more disconcerting is that, according to the online ratings, this is the #2 hotel in the area; and you will pay a premium for a better room locally. The design and maintenance of the reception area, along with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, are the only reasons I'm rating this hotel as high as I am. It's not the worst Best Western that I've stayed in (and a long way from the worst hotel) but it's definitely close. Knowing what I know now unless I had a specific reason to stay in this immediate area, I would continue along the interstate, in any direction, to find a better room; even if I had to pay more for it.

This hotel is a nice place to stay, we always ask for ground floor because the rooms can be entered from the outside, we stay here when we are in town now because we can sit outside the hotel near our rooms and talk.

Everything works: hot water, wifi is easy, refrigerator, microwave. And I've paid a lot more for places that struggle to provide what you figure is basic stuff. Value is exceptional. Staff is great. I have been to this motel enough times to kinda know some staff and think of them as friends. Breakfast is generous and high quality. Rooms are quiet, though there might be a train from time to time, it's not close. Ask about nearby local restaurants when you are at the desk. Several are within a couple of miles. - There's also a great Titan I missile just off the exit (101) if you are looking for a marker from the interstate.

The stay was great it was group of 25 of us, We had a total of 7 rooms. We travel from Florida to Arkansas and Missouri. they treated us with care. very clean and breakfast was great . The staff was very friendly to us as we was checking in and out.

After a long, frustrating drive south on I75, through a traffic nightmare in Atlanta, it was a relief to check into this Best Western motel in Cordell, GA, at Exit 101. The price was right, the lobby well-kept and clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. As we walked to our room, we noticed the outdoor pool was large, well-landscaped with plenty of lounge chairs. Our room appeared to be recently remodeled and the queen beds were comfortable. Our wi-fi worked well and the room was quiet when we wanted to sleep. In the morning, we were pleasantly surprised to find the best "free" breakfast at a motel in a long time, including scrambled eggs, delicious sausage, grits, gravy, waffles, and the other usual fare. They accommodate pets, as well, although we were not traveling with our dog this time. We will definitely stay there again going to and from Florida-Michigan.

Last minute decision to get a room for rest before continuing our drive to Florida. Had multiple hotels to choose from and are very pleased we chose Best Western. Rooms and beds clean, comfortable and quiet.

I stay at this hotel frequently when traveling through the area, its safe, clean, nice location, the staff is always like family, its a great value and in the morning, their breakfasts are a full breakfasts, which gives a great boost to the day.. I travel extensively and know a good hotel. and good value when I see one, this hotel is a 5 star hotel for the value.

We have stayed at this location many times over the years on our way to Florida. We have never found the need to look for another place as this one is great all around. It's close to the interstate and there are numerous restaurants close by.

We were so tired after driving thru Georgia on the way home to Florida from TN and decided to pull into this hotel to see if they had a room. The front desk greeted us with a smile and also said they had a special room price they were offering for the night for only $69.00. We were given a room upstairs with just about everything you would need in a room. The stairs were not a problem for us even though both me and my husband have leg issues. It was a short distance up. The room was lovely. The beds were comfortable with nice linens, pillows, very clean bathroom etc. Lots of towels etc. It was a perfect stay and we had a great night sleep. The free breakfast blew us away. They had the best breakfast sausage. There were eggs, grits all kinds of delicious things to eat. They had so many choices even hot waffles you make yourself with fruit. No body leaves hungry from this hotel breakfast. The coffee, tea and juice were delicious also. The staff were caring and always cleaning up. They got you anything you needed. We love this hotel & staff. We will be back. ATT:: PS_-EXTRA THANK YOU TO NICK NAME HOUSEKEEPER- POO BEAR. Travel 75 several times a year. Always make plans to overnight here. Can't be beat for quality of service and value. It's clean and maintained. Well lit at night. Easy on and off 75. Several chain restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast is worth the stop alone.

Stopped for the night with my 9 yr old on a trip to southwest FL. The hotel was adequate for $90 a night, but it seemed to be the hotel of choice for work crews to stay at overnight. Did not feel like it was a good environment for kids. We checked in at 10pm and had to use a night check in through plexiglass.

We had a reservation for a king bed and they didn't have any, so gave us what was "supposedly" a queen which would have been fine. It certainly wasn't though. Tiny bathroom but not a big deal. As I said, we only needed a place to sleep. Best part of our visit was dinner at the barbecue restaurant.

Nice place to stay w/o any frills. Comfortable bed, nice breakfast, friendly staff. Not a rowdy place where you can get some sleep. I would recommend this place to anyone. This is our fourth time staying here.

The management was very attentive and the room was okay...the only problem was the fridge did not work at all. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fast, hot and tasty. All the help we encountered was very pleasant and helpful.

Spent only one night. The price was excellent. Debbie at the Front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Included a full breakfast. The rooms were very clean and the internet access was great. Smoking is not allowed on the premises but there were a few folks that smoked anyway.

Beds were wonderfully comfortable and pillows were not flat! My only complaint was the pool needed to be cleaner. The grounds were well taken care of and the lobby was nicely updated. Breakfast was better than some.

I stayed here last year, and decided to give them a second chance. Waste of money. The air conditioner barely worked, stained carpet. When we went to take a shower there was a lot of mold up on the ceiling. That was not good to breath all night and did not see it till the next day when we went to shower. All the front desk did was give me 25. off. Terrible service and a very dirty nasty hotel. Also there was a big crack in the bathtub wall.

The first room balcony door did not lock. The second room the door had to be slammed to close and lock. Semen stains on the sheets very noticeable the towels touched the lifted toilet seat and the drawers are old and off track/.

The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. It was located on the 16th Street side of the hotel which was a little noisy because of the heavy traffic on that street. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of items.

Got 2 queen beds for $83 for the night. Nice size room, with micowave and fridge. Frim bed with 4 pillows. Bathroom had to sinks, 1 outside of the bathroom. Breakfast was standard for any hotel. Over all a nice hotel easy to find off 75 south.

Room was clean and staff was very nice but the beds need to be replaced felt like I was sleeping in a hole. Pool could have been a little more cleaner, the location is great right off of the interstate and very close to restaurants. Cute friendly town. We would stay there again.

Glass doors to entrance from patio or entrance from hallway. Could walk dog in view of the room, could walk to restaurants. Loved the hotel and the location. Front desk girls were super helpful and friendly at check in and check out.

While I was traveling with my dog and family to North Carolina for a vacation we stayed at the Best Western Colonial Inn in Cordele, Georgia. The hotel was very clean and you could tell it had recently been updated. The bathroom was very nice and the outdoor patio which led to a grassy area what's a plus considering I was traveling with a pet. The next morning in the lobby they hosted a delicious breakfast that we enjoyed before getting on the road. I would definitely stay at the Best Western Colonial Inn again if it fits with my travel plans. I'm especially grateful that Best Westerns are dog friendly!

The staff went above and beyond what is required to ensure I had a great stay. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Cordele. They serve HOT cookies and coffee at 6:00 pm and I received a phone call inviting me to come down and participate.

Hotel is close to everything. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and easy access to and from the expressway. The hotel is surprisingly quiet although close to the expressway. Breakfast has a large variety of items and was very good. My room was very clean and well appointed. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

We were unable to get an accessible room, so we settled for a first floor room. The staff worked to get us as close to the parking lot as possible. My husband was able to access the room easily with his walker. The room was nicely appointed, good linens and towels. Room had a nice work desk and newer furnishings. There were many restaurants nearby, both fast food and sit-down restaurants. My cell phone did not work in that area. The nice folks at the front desk called the family for us to let them know our location as this was an overnight stop on I-75 (Exit 101). The motel had an excellent sit-down hot breakfast with a large variety of items. Coffee and cookies were available on arrival.

This was an over-night stay on our vacation. Although an older hotel it was well maintained and clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and there was a nice breakfast available the next morning. The pool was larger than normal with a nice appearance and our children enjoyed the swim time while we enjoyed sitting at a table in the pool area. There are several restaurants within walking distance so no need to get back in your car to go to dinner. Wish we driven the extra distance to stay at this hotel on our way back.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms very clean and up dated. Breakfast was great. Only gave three stars because of bed. Felt like I kept sliding down hill to center of bed and didn't sleep well/ comfortably. There seemed to be a dip in middle of bed..... And no, it wasn't my husband! ;) Then again, I prefer cleanliness to comfort!!!

It was easy to find this hotel when leaving the Interstate Highway and access was also easy which is nice when one is on a long trip. Our ground level room was convenient to the parking lot as well as to the breakfast room..Our bet was comfortable and toom was quiet which meant we ha a good nights rest. The hot breakfast was laid out well and th food was really good. Cost of the room was very reasonable considering the convenience, comfort and quick check-out.

My family and I stopped here on our way to Daytona Beach and it was a very nice location. The lobby was really clean and they always had fresh coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We we got to our room, one bed was not comfortable at all and when I called down to the front desk they were very helpful and forgiving and they switched us rooms, which happened to be right next door. The beds in the next room were much better.

We stayed here as part of a trip from Florida to Michigan. It's a good hotel -- clean, quiet, comfortable, good bed, all the basics you look for, though our bathroom did have a drippy tub faucet and two of the three machines in the exercise room were not in working order. Our desk clerk referred us to a "16 East Bar and Grill" restaurant a short drive away -- bad recommendation (see my separate review). If we were to overnight in Cordele again, we would stay at this hotel, but find a better place to eat...... Recommended.........

Convinlent to I 75. Allowed pets which is important to since I travel with my dog. Not happy about the $10 pet charge since some other pet freindly hotel don't have the up charge. Condition of the hotel was above average for the price we paid. Would stay there again.

House keeping staff extremely rude and noisey. No place for anyone working nights and needing day sleep. Have previously consulted GM who assured issue was addressed. Staff continues to hoop, holler, down stairs, from one floor to the next. Completely unacceptable behavior at ANY hotel location.

Stayed at this hotel the past two years on a trip from South Florida to Chicago. The hotel looks somewhat newly remodeled and we had no problems at all. Fresh cookies in lobby upon arrival and fresh strawberries at breakfast were niceties! Everything about our overnight stay was enjoyable.

The place is nice, clean, good amenities for the price. However, we had a problem at 2 AM. No one answered the front desk phone. I finally put on some clothes and banged on the front door. A guy ultimately answered, and gave me a plunger to unplug the toilet. The toilet plugged up twice more later in the AM.

It was a wonderful experience and hope to use more of the Best Western Hotels.The food was great for breakfast. The staff were very professional and the rooms were very clean! We were down for a wedding and visit the area often. We will stay at this hotel when we are down for anything in Cordele area. Thanks to all the staff that made a very pleasant time there.

Stopped at the Colonial on our way to and from a visit to Florida. We chose it because we were traveling with our two dogs. It was comfortable enough, not quite as nice as the Marriott brands we usually stay at, and we were given a ground floor room with an outside door, which was very convenient. The staff was very nice and the breakfast decent. A good stop, at a good rate.

There were many hotels available at the I75 exit in Cordele - stay anywhere EXCEPT the Best Western! The Best Western room was not clean - I certainly was not happy with the security levels. had entry from parking lot thru sliding glass doors. No elevator to second story. Toilet belongs in an elementary school.
