"Thanksgiving Visit"

With the exception of Thanksgiving understanding that staff is not working as much it is understandable that no housekeeping took place. But our family was in the room 11/23, 11/24, 11/25 and checked out 11/26. No housekeeping took place on any day. It was stated there would be a breakfast. No only breakfast during the week and we didn't even see it on Friday. If it was breakfast it must have been very insignificant. We were disappointed. So on Saturday morning then the restaurant was open and asked for $14. It was ridiculous. Probably won't be coming back.

"Home away from home"

At Brandywine plaza my family felt at home. Everything was in place, the atmosphere was friendly and we received a warm reception from the front desk attendant. Even though I missed the first attempt to access the drive way because there is no signpost but the entire trip was superb.

Moldy fridge, peeling wallpaper, rusty fixtures. Ice machines broken. Elevator smelled like pot. Couldn't see out the windows as they were so dirty. Door to the room was cracked like it had been forced open and “repaired” with a screw. Extremely dated

Hotel has potential to offer better services. I believe the staff worked hard with what they were provided and they did a good job. There is a bad odor in the hotel. Is it old carpet or damp weather? Breakfast can be better, make it warm/hot and increase variety. Possible some fruits.

"Uncomfortably dirty and a waste of money"

Dirty, dirty, dirty This place is a wreck, it took one pack of sanitation wipes to clean the bathroom. The lobby is dirty, in severe need to an update. The carpets are filthy and need replacing. Every bite of our room needs replacing. We whipped down the lamps by the bed, the shades on the lamps are stained, the windows are dirty. Why is this allowed!

Rooms were clean and comfortable but only got given 3 towels which wasn't enough for 4 days and you had to ask for new ones no one came and changed them. Got made pay for breakfast which should have been included in my booking, breakfast was poor two days , with no bread or cutlery. Bar was closed even know they had a sign happy hour 5-7 and it seemed like a big deal to ask for it to be open, Nothing online states the bar does be closed or what days and staff seemed to be unaware of the happy hour. The fire alarm went off 3 times and no staff seemed to be concerned or reassuring any of the guests when we all when to the corridor.

This hotel was located in a great spot proximal to I 95 and the Maplezone Sports Institute. Wawa and CVS conveniently right next door. We had late games so I can't comment on the hotel common areas ~not long enough stay. It was a busy large hotel -very crowded at check in and a long wait to check in. Lots of parking but lot was close to full. Rooms are standard. lighting in room was limited, the shower had weird pressure and there were not enough towels there for two guests, for example, only one washcloth. Also microwave was weirdly by the elevator for the floor to share which was odd for this post covid era.I had no need to use it. Ice machines were allegedly broken but $2 bags available at Wawa. Breakfast was not included and $15 a person so we opted for Wawa instead and saved a ton. My price was $230 and I thought that was a price reserved for a more quality and higher rated hotel. Not a mid one like this. I add reviews to help people make decisions to stay So would I stay again? Yes, if desperate for hotel like I was this weekend. But the price was too high. I would have preferred to take a chance at a lower cost one next time since this one was just meh. If the hotel uses this for feedback I would say the price drove my expectations higher than what your hotel offered. repair your ice machine, offer contact less check in, fix some missing baseboard in the hallways, set the amount of towels for the number of guests, add lighting to rooms, maybe add some modern touches like USB ports in the rooms and include breakfast at your high rates.

"It was ok. Used to be a Crown Plaza."

It was ok. Used to be a Crown Plaza. It looks like it was recently re-opened and re-branded as a Best Western. Lighting was good, quiet, clean, Wawa gas & junk food nearby. It was difficult to find this location. Price was lower than hotels near the Philly airport. Quick and easy to get to the airport from this hotel. Boarding pass printers did not work. Would stay here again.

"This hotel needs some love (maintenance)"

I stayed in this hotel last month, and the hotel is in need of some serious maintenance. The lobby looks great, but the rooms (and even the hallways) are in very poor shape. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling in numerous places. The furniture is in poor condition. There were no USB ports by the bed (just ONE outlet on the lamp). The room number was written on the wall for a room down the hall. The stairwells were extremely dirty. The staff was nice enough, but with the condition of the hotel, I would not stay here again. When I stayed at this hotel, it was an IHG Hotel (the Crowne Plaza). Apparently it no longer is associated with IHG (it says this is now the Brandywine Plaza Hotel).

"Bed Bugs!!!!"

Bed bugs!!! 6th floor. They moved me without hesitation but that is a huge problem! One night stay. I stay at about 150+\\- a year. I always check my rooms and have never had an issue. I also stay at kind of hotels but mostly in this range for work. Luckily all my belongings stayed on the desk/tv table. Mattress was full of eggs and bugs, HORRIBLE!

"BO and Wet Carpet Smells"

Booked this on Hotwire for $150 a night w/ taxes and fees. WAYYY above my normal price, but finding a hotel in the Philly area was next to impossible. Motel 6 and lower end hotels were $100 a night minimum. Many of my go tos like Comfort Inn had poor reviews and were $120 a night or more. The location of this hotel was perfect and I figured, a Crowne Plaza has got to be good and I'd treat myself. Check in was smooth. Opened the door to my room and was met with an odor of BO and wet carpet. Room was HUGE, bathroom not so much. WiFi worked well, TV HAD a lot of channels at one point, but so many didnt work. Bed was very comfy, pillows were fantastic. Shower featured a broken curved shower rod with a straight curtain. The shower head needs a good cleaning. Water pressure was fantastic, as was the water temp. Went to use the business center to print a parking pass, and no printer. Front desk guy says both broken, but he printed my pass. The morning of checkout, they tried knocking at my door 40 min prior to checkout (I was in the shower). Took the elevator down and it went up instead. Housekeeper gave me a look and then said something to her co workers. Got my luggage cart and a child hops on the cart. Can't make this stuff up. Not worth $150 a night. $80 a night hotel. I'd probably pass on this the next time I'm in the area.
